Its the Season 2 Finale for BWN and the Nerds bring an end to their second year on the air in fine fashion. The guys cover Doom Patrol’s penultimate Episode for Season 3, along with Episode 3 of the second season of Locke & Key. They then take a visit to the Trailer Park to offer up their thoughts on new trailers for The Book of Boba Fett, Morbius, A Boy Called Christmas, and the most recent look at Season 4 of Stranger Things. News Around The Nerdosphere takes a look at Image Comics writers unionizing, an interesting rumor about Spider-Man: No Way Home, and Ryan Reynolds taking a break from acting for all the right reasons. The back half of the show recaps a hell of a second year here on the Bandwagon. The entertainment industry rebounded in a huge way in 2021 and BWN was at the center of it. From tremendous animation, to the return of block-buster movies, to industry altering lawsuits, to streaming services continuing to dominate the hearts and minds of Nerds everywhere, Season 2 of BWN covered it all. Here on the Season 2 Finale, the guys take a look back at a tremendous second year of BWN and spill the beans as to what they are looking forward to the most from this week’s upcoming Disney + Day.

Bandwagon Nerds #263: Dawn Patrol
BWN continues its coverage of Game 7 featuring the 1987 Stanley Cup Final between the Oilers and Flyers, plus Star Wars continues to frustrate its fan base.
At the request of 2/3 of this week’s Bandwagon, the Nerds convened for an extra early morning recording of BWN this week. The guys continued their coverage of Game 7, and hockey took center stage as we went back in time to look at Game 7 of the 1987 Stanley Cup Finals between the Philadelphia Flyers and Edmonton Oilers. The Oilers dismantled the Flyers in the 1985 Cup Final. Things were much different in 1987 as the Oilers tried to establish their dynasty, and the young, fearless Flyers did all they could to prevent it. The Trailer Park was stripped down this week, but the guys looked at the big reveal for What If Season 3, Cameron Diaz’s return to action movies, and a fun look at Univeral’s Epic Universe, coming to Orlando this May. In News Around the Nerdosphere, it appears Denzel Washington is on the brink of an MCU debut, details for the Fantastic Four movie were revealed, and Star Wars continues to make news….for all the wrong reasons.

Bandwagon Nerds #262: Curse of the Great Bambino
BWN begins its coverage of Game 7 featuring the 2003 ALCS clash between the Yankees and Red Sox, plus MCU and Star Wars news from D23 Brazil!
The Bandwagon begins reviewing a different kind of show for the next few weeks. As all the guys are massive sports fans, they decided to begin watching, and reviewing, the new series on Amazon Prime, Game 7. The first Episode of the series covered one of the all-time great Game 7s, featuring one of the greatest rivalries in all of sports, the Boston Red Sox vs. the New York Yankees. In 2003, the two rivals played an epic series that could only be resolved by one of the most improbable comebacks in Game 7 history. The guys offer their own personal perspectives on that game here on this Episode. The Trailer Park got some late additions from D23 Brazil with new trailers for Captain America: Brave New World and Thunderbolts*, along with a trailer for a possible new classic in Dear Santa. There was also news coming from D23 Brazil including the MCU possibly shifting its focus towards the X-Men, a new release schedule/ protocol for the MCU, and rumors abound of where Star Wars might be heading…and why the guys are less than enthused.
