HPW Death Mountain Championship Furious 5 Ladder Match: Gold Lynel VS Tali w/ Shabonne VS King Bulblin w/ The Bulblin Triplets VS Hinox VS ???

The One True Monster won this title a year ago, and could complete a ONE YEAR REIGN! That is, if he gets past the Dame of the Dunes, the King of Bulblins, the Colossal Cyclops and a wild card dealt by HPW management! That wild card saves their entrance for last, and it turns out to be… EL HIJO DEL TORBELLINO! The Zora luchador is back again, on the biggest stage he’s ever been on! Is this a chance for #Torbevito to establish his own legacy?

The introductions are made, the belt is already overhead, and we see who rises above the others!

Hinox goes right for Lynel! He still wants to fight from Treasure Island! King Bulblin has his henchmen fetch a ladder for him, but Shabonne works to stop them! Can Shabonne fight? Well, she kicks two of the triplets but the third drags a sizeable ladder to ringside. Tali goes after Bulblin, Torbellino dropkicks the ladder into the triplet! Torbellino helps Tali stomp King Bulblin into a corner. Hinox and Lynel throw hands and end up in a corner. Lynel stomps Hinox down, then rains down fists. Lynel leaves Hinox behind and CLUBS Torbellino down, then back elbows Tali. Lynel stomps King Bulblin before stepping outside the ring.

The Bulblin Triplets are there and grabbing a ladder, but they see Lynel. Lynel BOOTS Triplet One, then DECKS Triplet Two! Triplet Three runs away, Shabonne hides behind the steel steps, and Lynel picks up the ladder. Lynel puts the ladder in the ring and gets back in the ring. Lynel picks up the ladder and stands it up, but Hinox is up and he RAMS the ladder to knock it into Lynel! Lynel staggers and leans on ropes, then Hinox picks up the ladder to RAM it into Lynel’s side! Lynel falls to the apron and Hinox hurries to set the ladder up. King Bulblin is up and he SMACKS Hinox’s head off the ladder’s rungs! And again!

Hinox staggers, King Bulblin tries to back suplex, but Hinox is too big for that! Hinox elbows Bulblin away, throws body shots to back him down, then ROCKS him with a forearm. Hinox has Bulblin in the corner, hushes the fans, and then CHOPS Bulblin! Fans fire up as Bulblin is stinging, and Hinox goes back to the ladder. And Tali is already climbing the other side! Hinox steps on the rung, but SNAP! The rung breaks off! Hinox grumbles, and he decides to just to tip the ladder! Tali jumps off the ladder and hotshots on the ropes! Hinox choke grips Tali, lifts but Tali breaks free! Tali tries to lift Hinox, but again, he’s too big!

Hinox CLUBS Tali, whips her to a corner, then runs in to SPLASH! Tali flops down and Hinox goes back to the ladder. He folds it up, picks it up, and sighs as he puts it in a corner. Torbellino slips another ladder into the ring, and he picks it up to battering RAM it into Hinox! Hinox ends up leaning against the ladder in the corner, Torbellino leans the ladder he brought in against Hinox, and then runs corner to corner to dropkick the ladder sandwich! Torbellino gets out of the way before the one ladder falls on him! But then Bulblin gets Torbellino for a scoop and SLAM onto that fallen ladder! Torbellino writhes while King Bulblin stomps Hinox against the ladder!

Tali drags Torbellino up to throw him out of the ring. She picks up the ladder, RAMS King Bulblin with it, and Bulblin ends up in the corner with Hinox. Tali aims and runs in, but both Bulblin and Hinox get out of the way and the ladder RAMS into the post! The ladder is caught in between the top and middle rope, and Bulblin ROCKS Tali with a haymaker! Bulblin then whips Tali, scoops her to a fireman’s carry and trophy lifts. Tali slips off and SHOVES Bulblin into the ladder as it juts out from the corner! Bulblin falls back, Tali takes the ladder out from the corner, and she presses it down onto Bulblin’s gut! Bulblin tries to fight free but Tali SENTONS onto the ladder!

Tali hobbles up while fans fire up. She drags the ladder off Bulblin, stands it up, but Lynel is climbing up to the apron. Tali kicks him down, but he trips her and drags her out to CLUB her down! Lynel gets back up on the apron but Hinox ROCKS him with a forearm! Lynel hops down off the apron again, tries to trip Hinox up but Hinox stomps his hand! Hinox goes to the ladder, but remembers how the rung broke. He grumbles and tries to figure out how to climb without climbing. Bulblin staggers up, Hinox swings a punch but Bulblin gets around to SIDE LEG SWEEP! Bulblin steps on Hinox to go to the ladder and get up a few extra steps all at once!

Torbellino springboards from the other side and lands halfway up the ladder! Fans fire up as Torbellino climbs, but Bulblin hurries! Torbellino reaches for the belt, Bulblin hits him with a body shot! Bulblin reaches the top, choke grips Torbellino, but Torbellino manages to break free and ROUNDHOUSE! Bulblin drops a step, Hinox choke grips Bulblin to CHOKE SLAM Bulblin off the ladder! The ring shakes, the ladder starts to tip, and Torbellino jumps off before it falls! Torbellino springs off the ropes to PESCADO onto Tali at ringside! Fans lose their minds and even Hinox’s eye is wide in surprise!

Hinox sees the ladder as it rests against the ropes. Hinox folds it up, stands it up in a corner, and Lynel gets in. Fans fire up seeing these two stand off. And then fans really fire up as the hands start flying! Lynel kicks low, throws body shots, forearms, then an uppercut! Hinox staggers, Lynel backs up, but Hinox blocks his boot! Hinox punches Lynel’s leg, then throws body shots of his own. Hinox reels back but Lynel cravats to KNEE Hinox in the head! And again, and again, then snapmares and BUZZSAWS! Fans are torn as Lynel looms over Hinox. But then he turns around and Bulblin SMACKS Lynel in the head with a chair!

Fans boo Bulblin but there’s nothing against using more than just ladders in a ladder match. Bulblin SMACKS Lynel on his horse back and that makes him fall over! Then Bulblin SMACKS Lynel on the side! Bulblin throws the chair aside and gets the ladder from the corner. Bulblin brings it to center and he stands it up. Torbellino runs in and swings under the ladder to dropkick Bulblin to the ropes. Torbellino then somersaults under the ladder and springs up to STUNNER! Fans fire up as Torbellino gets to the ladder! Tali gets back in to CLUB Torbellino and drag him off the ladder! Tali DECKS Torbellino with a forearm, then she climbs.

Torbellino anchors Tali’s foot, she stomps him off then climbs. Torbellino gets back up and grabs at her legs again. Tali hammer fists, he grabs that arm and uses it to pull Tali off the ladder into a Gory Especial! GORY BOMB! Torbellino climbs the ladder now and fans fire up! Bulblin has the chair again! And he SMACKS Torbellino on the back! Fans boo while Torbellino falls to the mat! Bulblin laughs as he climbs, but Lynel gets up! Lynel tips the ladder over, Bulblin jumps off and SNAKE EYES in the corner! Lynel moves the ladder aside to throw body shots on Bulblin over and over in the corner! Lynel then tops it off with a CLOBBERING crossface forearm!

Lynel kicks Bulblin out, Hinox ROCKS Lynel with a right hand! Hinox manages to get Lynel up in a fireman’s carry! COLOSSAL GORON DROP!! Fans lose their minds over that one! Hinox sits up, Tali throws the chair at his face! It smacks off Hinox, then Tali sets it up to COMPLETE SHOT Hinox onto the chair!! Shabonne fires up as Tali stands tall with the ladder! But Bulblin gets in and throws Tali out! Bulblin goes up the ladder, Tali gets in again and drags him back down! Tali clotheslines Bulblin against ropes, tries to clothesline him up and out, but she has to dump him out instead. She goes out after him and RAMS him into barriers!

Tali gets a ladder from ringside and RAMS Bulblin with it! Bulblin tumbles up and over the barrier! Tali sets the ladder up as a bridge between ring and announce desk. She finds Torbellino, brings him up and whips him at the ladder bridge, but Torbellino slides under! Torbellino dropkicks the ladder into Tali! Tali staggers back, Torbellino hops up onto the ladder and LEAPS at Tali, but she blocks his rana! Tali brings Torbellino up and POWERBOMBS him THROUGH THE LADDER! Fans lose their minds again as Tali roars! Tali gets back in the ring, climbs up the ladder, and fans are torn as she ascends. Tali reaches the top, and brings down the belt! TALI WINS!

Winner: Tali (NEW HPW Death Mountain Champion)

The Dame of the Dunes makes history! She ends Lynel’s reign at 364 days, and becomes the first female Death Mountain Champion EVER! Will she look to carry this title all the way to next New Year’s Eve?

HPW Trios Championships: The Studly Guys VS The Desert Flowers!

Groose, Skull Kid & Tingle lost a contender’s match to Riju, Aveil & Buliara because the UnderWorld Order screwed them over, but then won the titles off the UnderWorld Order in a bit of karma! But will the Skyfall Stud and his pals hold onto the gold after a 3v3 rematch? Or will the Desert Flowers finally bloom in the winter like New Year’s fireworks?

The Desert Flowers get a very apropos entrance, with flower pattern laser lights and a little bit of pyro. The trio is also wearing floral pattern ring gear. As for the Studly Guys, they’ve got metallic versions of their usual ring gear, so Tingle is running around in a shiny green bodysuit and red trunks while Groose has metallic blue and gold and Skull Kid has metallic orange. And they all have shining capes that are blowing in the wind of a big electric fan that was put just off stage. The introductions are made, the capes are put away, and the belts are raised as we see whether or not the new year will be STUDLY!

The trios sort out and, just as he declared, Skull Kid starts against Buliara. Maybe Skull Kid should be on the Triforce of Courage belt after all. Skull Kid even calls for a test of strength! Buliara is a bit confused, but she still ties up with him. And then Builiara twists Skull Kid’s wrists and he shouts “OW OW OW!” while hopping from foot to foot. Buliara twists his wrists more and bends the fingers and Skull Kid drops to his knees! Skull Kid still says “OW OW OW” as he gets back to his feet. He tries to get to his corner and reaches out with a leg, telling his team to tag in with his foot. But Buliara monkey flips Skull Kid away to the Desert Flower corner!

Buliara stomps Skull Kid, tags in Aveil, and then drags Skull Kid up. Aveil wrenches Skull Kid’s arm and hammerlocks, Buliara CHOPS Skull Kid before exiting. Aveil rolls Skull Kid up, TWO, but Aveil keeps hold of a leg to half a HALF SAND CRAB! Skull Kid endures and reaches out to ropes. Skull Kid powers up, crawls over, but Aveil drags him away! Skull Kid uses that to slip under and roll Aveil to a cradle! TWO, and Aveil runs into an arm-drag! And then another arm-drag! Aveil blocks the third arm-drag, brings Skull Kid up, but he arm-drags the other way! Skull Kid dropkicks Aveil down then kips up to fire up!

Skull Kid brings Aveil up to whip her to ropes, but she ducks and dodges to springboard CROSSBODY! Direct hit, cover, TWO! Aveil brings Skull Kid up, wrenches an arm and tags Riju in. Riju takes the hand-off and wrenches, wristlocks, then wrenches again to ELBOW BREAKER! Riju hammerlocks and CLUBS the arm, then snapmares Skull Kid to KICK his arm! Skull Kid clutches his shoulder, Riju drags him up but he throws body shots with the good arm. Skull Kid whips Riju but she rolls under his clothesline to roll back into a wheelbarrow and BULLDOG! She then gets the bad arm to WRING it out! She then goes for a crossface but he scrambles around to the ropebreak!

The fans cheer and duel, “DE-SERT FLOW-ERS!” “STUD-LY GUYS!” as Skull Kid and Riju stand off. Groose reaches out for a tag and Skull Kid looks to him. Groose waves him over, Skull Kid reluctantly tags him in. Groose circles with Riju, and there’s a clear size difference. They approach, Riju slips around to kick Groose in the back of the leg! Groose hobbles, Riju shoves him to ropes then dropkicks him into them. Groose rebounds, Riju manages to bring him into a cradle, TWO! Riju dropkicks again but Groose stays up. Groose deadlift waistlocks but Riju fights with elbows. Groose CLUBS Riju, then pump handles to scoop and POWERSLAM! Cover, but Aveil breaks it!

Fans fire up while the ref reprimands Aveil but she helps Riju get to the corner. Buliara tags in and she stomps Groose to keep him from going to his corner. Buliara brings Groose up, wrenches an arm and whips, but Groose holds ropes to stop himself. Buliara runs in but Groose dumps her out! Fans fire up as Groose takes aim. Groose looks like he’s preparing to slingshot, but then he shakes his head and says, “Nope.” Fans cheer as he rolls out of the ring and Goron Uppercuts! Buliara falls against barriers, Groose brings her around to whip into more barriers. The ring count begins, Groose brings Buliara around but she throws forearms.

Buliara brings Groose over to the announce desk and SMACKS him off the top! Buliara ROCKS Groose with a forearm, the ring count is 6 of 10, Buliara puts Groose in the ring at 7. Buliara drags Groose to the Desert Flower corner and tags Aveil. Buliara then stands on the bottom rope and jumps for a SPLASH! She gets out as Aveil goes to the second rope. Aveil tags Riju then jumps for a SPLASH! Riju climbs up top and Aveil gets out, FROG SPLASH! Cover, TWO! Groose survives the onslaught of splashes but Riju anchors his foot. Wait, not really, he drags her along as he heads for his corner. She grapevines his leg while she gets a HEEL HOOK, and Groose drops to a knee!

Riju pulls on the leg but Groose endures. Groose uses his one good leg and both his arms to crawl over, hot tag to Tingle! Tingle stomps Riju, drags her up and full nelsons, but Riju breaks free. But Tingle has a waistlock instead for a GERMAN SUPLEX! Bridging cover, TWO! Tingle whips but Riju RANAS on the return! Tingle ends up in a corner, Riju runs in to back body block! She sweeps the legs and rolls to come back, SLIDING FOREARM! She drags Tingle to the drop zone, goes up the corner, but Skull Kid runs over and distracts her. The ref reprimands, but Tingle gets up to RISING HEADBUTT! Riju wobbles up top, Tingle climbs and brings Riju up. SUPERPLEX!!

Fans fire up while both wrestlers are down. Riju and Tingle stir, and they head for their corners. Hot tags to Aveil and Groose! Aveil dodges Groose’s clothesline to knock Skull Kid off the apron! Aveil then runs at Groose, tilt-o-whirls and headscissors! Groose staggers up, Aveil wheelbarrows, but Groose blocks her bulldog to shove her to ropes. But she springboards to FLYING ROUNDHOUSE! Aveil springboards and LYNEL-SAULTS! Cover, TWO! Aveil tags Buliara in and they get Groose up. They double whip, double elbow Groose down, then Aveil runs for a hip toss senton! Then they FIST DROP STANDING MOONSAULT COMBO! Buliara covers, Skull Kid breaks it!

The ref reprimands and Skull Kid argues that the Desert Flowers did it! Either way, fans fire up as Aveil runs back in and kicks Skull Kid. Aveil whips, Skull Kid reverses, wrenches and ROUNDHOUSES! Aveil goes down but Skull Kid hobbles a bit, holding his hamstring. Maybe he strained himself kicking that high. But then Buliara BOOTS Skull Kid down! Groose gets Buliara’s arms and turns her! Buliara powers out of the Loftwing and she ROCKS him with a forearm! Buliara whips Groose to ropes and picks him up for a SPINEBUSTER! She grabs both legs and works to turn Groose over, but Groose powers up and rolls to throw Buliara away!

Fans fire up, Groose JABS, and JABS, and JABS! He winds up, but Buliara ducks the Right Hand of the Goddess, and she half nelsons. Groose fights the lift, arm-drags free, winds up again, but Buliara dropkicks him away! Groose falls against ropes, Buliara clotheslines him against the ropes! Riju tags in, Buliara whips Groose and picks him up, Riju runs in to BLOCKBUSTER SPINEBUSTER COMBO! Buliara knocks Tingle off the apron and Riju covers, TWO!! Groose survives and the Desert Flowers are beside themselves! Riju hurries to the corner and climbs up while Buliara drags Groose back up. BACKBREAKER ELBOW DROP COMBO!! Skull Kid springboards in to break the cover!!

Fans are going nuts as Skull Kid fires off haymakers on Riju! Skull Kid winds up, but Buliara grabs his arm! Buliara reels Skull Kid in and CLOBBERS him with a lariat! The ref tells Buliara she has to exit, she’s been in the ring too long. Buliara goes to the corner, Riju tags her in and they get Groose back up. Buliara fireman’s carries and Riju runs, but Groose fights free and shoves Buliara into Riju! Then Groose hits Buliara with RIGHT HAND OF THE GODDESS!! Fans are thunderous again, and Groose roars! Groose drags Buliara up, chicken wings the arms and turns Buliara, LOFTWING DRIVER!! Groose slowly turns Buliara over for the cover, Aveil MOONSAULTS it apart!!

Fans are electric, and Skull Kid rises! This looks like how he was moving around in the match against UnderWorld Order! Aveil runs over but he swats her clothesline away to then URAKEN and HEADBUTT her down! Riju rushes back in, Skull Kid BOOTS her, then reels her in for a POWERSLAM! Skull Kid then goes to Buliara, drags her up, and somehow trophy lifts her! Aveil and Riju regroup, and Skull Kid THROWS Buliara at them both! All three Desert Flowers fall! The ref reprimands Skull Kid and tells him to go to the corner. Skull Kid stares at the ref, and the mask makes it very creepy. Skull Kid then choke grips the ref!?! For a CHOKE SLAM!?!

Fans are losing their minds, and Groose is just as shocked! Groose asks Skull Kid what he’s thinking, but Skull Kid just stares at him. Then Skull Kid kicks him low! Skull Kid then front kicks and SUPER- No, Groose blocks it! Groose throws the foot away but Skull Kid spins to DRAGON WHIP! Groose falls and Tingle gets in to check on him. Tingle confronts Skull Kid now, but Skull Kid grabs Tingle’s head with both hands for a HEADBUTT! And another HEADBUTT! And another, and another, and another! Tingle flops back, and Skull Kid turns around to leave the ring. Groose gets back up and shouts after Skull Kid, but Skull Kid doesn’t turn back.

Another ref comes out while HPW medical checks on the first ref. This match is apparently going to continue as a 3v2 handicap, putting things in the challengers’ favor. Buliara and Groose reset, fans rally up, and they approach. Groose shoots in, gets a waistlock, but Buliara wrenches free to hammerlock. Buliara shifts to a headlock, Groose throws body shots then powers out. Buliara ducks and dodges then redirects Groose. Aveil tags in as Buliara hits the ropes, Buliara shoots around Groose to shove him into Aveil’s RANA! Aveil has a pin, TWO! Buliara helps Aveil go to the ropes and springboard CROSSBODY Groose down!

Buliara DECKS Tingle, Aveil tags Riju, Buliara drags Groose up! Buliara fireman’s carries, Aveil runs back in, FLAPJACK CUTTER COMBO! They drag Groose into the drop zone and Riju is up top! ULTIMATE ELBOW DROP!! Cover, DESERT FLOWERS WIN!!

More history is made before the end of the year! Riju, Aveil and Buliara celebrate together as they become the first female trio to hold these titles! Is 2022 going to be the Year of the Flower?

Career on the Line: Ghirahim VS Midna!

Last year, the Living Blade cut down Rauru and ended the legend’s in-ring career! Now he claims he’ll do the same to the Twilight Princess, all because she kept him from cheating his way to former glory. Will taking down another icon be enough for Ghirahim? Or will Midna put him to sleep in the twilight?

Ghirahim has special HyruleMania entrance gear! The cape is gray with blue and yellow argyle underneath, and the suit is blue with yellow gloves. The sash belt is black with a big blue gem. As for Midna, she’s changed her black and green cloak into purple and blue, or maybe more a teal. The fans are fired up already as the two stare down. The bell rings, the two circle, fans chant, “Hey~ Midna! Hoo, ha! I wanna kno-oOo~o-oh! Will you be mah girl?” Midna and Ghirahim tie up, fans fire up again, and Midna powers Ghirahim to ropes. Ghirahim shouts for the ropebreak, the ref counts, and Midna lets off. Ghirahim composes himself as the two reset.

Midna and Ghirahim tie up again and they’re in a deadlock as Ghirahim digs his heels in. But because of her slight leverage advantage, Midna again pushes Ghirahim to ropes. Ghirahim again shouts for the ropebreak, the ref counts, and Midna lets off again. Ghirahim paces a bit while fixing his hair. He and Midna tie up again, Midna pushes Ghirahim back towards ropes, but Ghirahim turns it around to put Midna on the ropes this time. Ghirahim is more aggressive as he pushes his forearms into Midna’s face! The fans boo, the ref reprimands and counts, but Ghirahim lets off with a shove. Midna sneers, but she doesn’t retaliate, even though fans chant, “BEAT HIS ASS! BEAT HIS ASS!”

Midna and Ghirahim circle again. They approach, Ghirahim kicks low then headlocks! Ghirahim laughs rather arrogantly, but then Midna picks Ghirahim up! Ghirahim thrashes to stop that, grinds the headlock, and holds tight as Midna tries to power out. Ghirahim laughs again but fans boo. Midna fights up, but Ghirahim throws punches while he has the headlock! The ref reprimands, Ghirahim mockingly frowns, then hits a headlock takedown. Midna keeps her shoulders off the mat, tries to headscissor but Ghirahim shrugs it off. Midna rolls Ghirahim to a cover, ONE, and Ghirahim holds on. Ghirahim shifts around, tries to get an arm, but Midna gets a ROPEBREAK with a leg!

The ref counts, Ghirahim lets off at 4. And then he stomps Midna’s arm! Fans boo but Ghirahim soaks it up and even takes a bow. Midna gets up, shaking out the arm, and she resets with Ghirahim. They tie up, Ghirahim wrenches the bad arm and has a wristlock. Midna reaches for ropes but Ghirahim YANKS the arm and keeps her away. Ghirahim cranks the wristlock, and then hits an ELBOW BREAKER! Ghirahim hammerlocks the arm, and he RAMS Midna into buckles! Fans boo while Midna clutches the arm, Ghirahim gets the arm through the ropes and PULLS! The ref reprimands and counts, fans boo more, and Ghirahim lets off at 4.

Midna gets up to CHOP, but that hurts her arm more than it does Ghirahim’s chest! Ghirahim laughs it off, brushes off his chest, but then Midna BOOTS him! Ghirahim staggers, Midna runs over to BOOT him down! Midna shakes out the bad arm, drags Ghirahim up, and reels him in, but Ghirahim fights the exploder. Ghirahim gets the bad arm again and wants a Fujiwara! Midna stays up, rolls through and kicks Ghirahim’s leg out! Midna drags Ghirahim into a TRIANGLE HOLD! Midna uses her good arm to pull Ghirahim in but Ghirahim fights to stay on his feet. Ghirahim moves around, Midna throws elbows with the good arm! Ghirahim still reaches out and gets a ROPEBREAK!

Midna holds on until 4 now and fans fire up as she lets go. She stomps Ghirahim at the ropes but the ref has her back off. Ghirahim bails out and huffs and puffs, fans taunt him with the simple, “You Suck! You Suck!” He tells them to shut up, and he gets on the apron, only for Midna to BOOT him again! Ghirahim falls onto the apron, fans fire up, and Midna reaches through the ropes to stomp him on the apron! The ref counts, Midna lets off at 4, and Ghirahim flops off the apron. Midna goes out after him and whips Ghirahim into barriers! Midna runs in and BOOTS Ghirahim over the railing! Fans are really fired up now, especially the front row over there!

Midna goes back to the ring as the count starts, and she gets her bad arm moving. The count is 5 of 10 before Ghirahim drags himself up and over the barriers. Ghirahim gets back to ringside at 7 and in at 8. Midna is right after him with stomps! Midna drags Ghirahim up, whips him to ropes and CHOPS, but again the bad arm hurts! Ghirahim ROCKS Midna with a forearm, then CHOPS her back! Ghirahim then gets the bad arm and WRINGS it out! FUJIWARA! Midna endures, fans rally and fire up, and Ghirahim pushes as far back as he can! Midna moves around, reaches out, but Ghirahim arm-drags her away to then go for an ARMBAR!

Midna clasps hands, Ghirahim clubs at the grip, Midna pushes up to a cover, TWO! Ghirahim still pulls on the arm, Midna keeps her hands clasped, and she gets up on her feet. Midna DEADLIFTS Ghirahim for a SIT-OUT POWERBOMB! She shakes the bad arm before she covers, TWO! Midna gets a leg and turns Ghirahim over for a HALF SAND CRAB! Very smart to use her left arm, the good arm, to get Ghirahim’s right leg! Ghirahim reaches for the ropes but Midna sits deep! Ghirahim endures, crawls over, but Midna drags him away! Ghirahim uses that to turn things around and kick at Midna with the free leg! Midna gets that leg and stomps Ghirahim in the gut!

Midna steps through but Ghirahim kicks her away. Midna comes back but Ghirahim ducks the low boot and rolls her up! TWO, and Ghirahim springboards off the ropes! GHIRACUTTER! Cover, TWO!?! Midna survives and Ghirahim is furious! Ghirahim argues with the ref but the ref defends that was fair. Fans rally up but Ghirahim drags Midna back up. Ghirahim CHOPS Midna, then CHOPS her again to have her against ropes. Ghirahim whips but Midna holds ropes, but again the bad arm! Ghirahim gets Midna in a dragon sleeper and grabs the bad arm, TWISTING DDT! Cover, TWO! Ghirahim is furious, and he drags Midna up, only for her to cradle! TWO!!

Ghirahim panickily checks with the ref, and is relieved to know it was only two. But then Midna CHOP BLOCKS his leg! Ghirahim clutches his knee, Midna BOOTS him down! Midna fires up and the fans are with her as Ghirahim flounders back up. Midna takes aim, TWILIGHT- NO! Ghirahim slips out the back! Ghirahim runs past Midna to springboard again! GHIRA- NO! Midna catches Ghirahim for a HIGH ANGLE GERMAN SUPLEX! Bridging cover, TWO!! Midna aims from a corner, TWILIGHT SLEEP!! Cover, Midna wins!!

The Twilight Princess thwarts Ghirahim’s plans to end her career! Will this victory on New Year’s Eve make the new year bright for Midna?

But wait! Ghirahim attacks her on the ramp! That sore loser can’t let anything go! Fans are furiously booing as he CLUBS her and shoves her up the ramp to the stage. He drags her by the bad arm then stomps the hand! Midna writhes as she clutches her hand, but Ghirahim gets something from behind the curtain. It’s the FUSED SHADOW?! How’d he get that?! Ghirahim shouts about, “Hard to put on, right? Hard to put it on, right?!” Isn’t that what she said during her action figure stream? He forces the Fused Shadow on her head! Then the lights start flickering, as does the tron! And when it all stops, Ghirahim takes the helmet off Midna, and she’s an IMP again!!

Fans are going nuts while Midna realizes what’s happened to her! Ghirahim laughs as he breaks the Fused Shadow up again! He leaves her the same piece she was wearing all last year, and dares her to come for the others. Has Ghirahim just ruined 2022 for the Twilight Princess?

Irene congratulates the NEW HPW Trios Champions and Riju thanks her. Riju says not only was this a great victory for them, but one for all Gerudo and “vai” (Gerudo for “woman/women”) wrestlers. But then, Forged By Violence walks over. Iron Knuckle says he and the Darknuts wanted to personally congratulate them on their victory, and personally extend a challenge for the new year. “LIKE HELL!” Ganondorf shouts as he BOOTS Iron Knuckle right down! And he has Zant and Agahnim with him! They brawl with FBV as referees and security rush in! It takes a lot just to keep Knuckle and Ganondorf back, but Ganondorf vows to “recycle your tin can asses!” Is the Gerudo Ace making a New Year’s resolution of revenge?

HPW Termina Championship: Osphala VS Fin Balure!

The Gleaming Yellow Light took this title from Igos du Ikana on Treasure Island, and then the Zora Rock ‘n’ Rolla boxed the Ikana Royal Family out at Fyter Feast! Osphala trains hard against the elements, but will his reign end in the deep waters? Or will he prove to Fin that he can swim with the sharks?

Osphala has gear that’s more golden than yellow this time, he’s very shiny. Fin, meanwhile, goes with stark white so that it stands out against his deep blue and off-white two-tone. The introductions are made, the belt is raised, and we see if Osphala’s time ends with the end of the year!

Fans are excited to see “Both These Guys! Both These Guys!” as Osphala and Balure stare down. Fans start dueling as Balure and Osphala circle and approach. They tie up, Balure waistlocks and throws Osphala down. Osphala gets up with a grin and the two circle again. They tie up again, Balure wristlocks but Osphala blocks with a chinbar. Balure powers through to wrench and armlock but Osphala rolls him, ONE. Fans cheer the technical exchange as the two men circle again. Osphala and Balure feel out the double knuckle locks, and Osphala wrenches one to a keylock. Osphala gets Balure on the mat but Balure headscissors back.

Fans cheer as Osphala works on an escape, using legs to pick the hold and get a headlock back. Balure powers up but Osphala headlock takeovers. Balure headscissors and holds tight this time. Osphala works to get his own headscissor counter but Balure cranks up for leverage. Balure even does push-ups just to show off! Fans cheer as Balure cranks harder. Osphala works on the hold again, kips out and then dropkicks Balure down! Osphala headlocks to a takeover again. Balure pushes at Osphala’s face, works his way around to roll Osphala, ONE. The two stand as fans rally again. Balure throws hands, powers out but Osphala goes up and over and arm-drags back!

Osphala dropkicks Balure again, and has him on the ropes. Osphala whips, Balure reverses but Osphala sunset flips. Balure rolls through but Osphala is ready and he kangaroo kicks Balure! Osphala school boy KICKS Balure down! Fans cheer as Osphala looms over Balure. Osphala drags Balure up to wrench and roll him, then splash down on the arm. Fans duel again as Osphala wrenches Balure. Balure knees and clubs Osphala then whips, to elbow Osphala down! Cover, ONE, but Balure keeps his focus. Osphala gets to a corner but Balure throws body shots. Osphala pie faces Balure so Balure CHOPS him back! Balure stalks Osphala to another corner and rams his shoulder in.

Balure CHOPS Osphala again and follows him to a third corner. Fans want “One More Time!” but Balure throws forearms first. Balure whips Osphala corner to corner for a running CHOP! And then back the other way for a CHOP! Balure whips a third time but Osphala boots back! Osphala CHOPS back, too! Osphala fires off more CHOPS and stalks Balure to a corner. Now Osphala throws haymakers and stomps! The ref backs Osphala off and Balure gets to his feet. Osphala runs in but Balure hops out. Osphala ducks the retaliatory kick, then joins Balure on the apron to FLYING RANA! Fans are losing their minds as both men hit the floor!

Osphala is up first and he drags Balure up. Osphala throws Balure hard into barriers, and then CHOPS him in front of the fans! The ring count reaches 6 but Osphala puts Balure in. Balure bails out so Osphala pursues around the corner. Osphala runs in, but into a SLINGBLADE! Balure won’t let Osphala copy his shotgun dropkick! Balure KNEES Osphala down then puts him in the ring. Balure drives elbows into Osphala’s shoulder over and over, then locks him into a grounded cobra twist. Balure grinds his forearm on Osphala’s face like a saw, but lets go at the ref’s reprimand. Balure runs to basement dropkick Osphala in the back! Cover, TWO!

Fans rally up and duel, Balure clamps onto Osphala with a cravat. Balure wrenches the neck, Osphala endures and fights up. Osphala throws elbows and body shots, but Balure stomps Osphala’s foot! Balure then snapmares Osphala and KICKS him in the back! Balure clamps back on with a chinlock and he grinds Osphala down. Osphala turns, slips out, has Balure’s arm and has a top wristlock. Osphala shifts to a headlock, Balure throws a hard body shot, then gets free to CHOP Osphala off his feet! Osphala rolls to ropes and Balure starts stomping him! Balure stomps and stomps then springboard stomps! The ref counts, Balure lets off and Osphala bails out.

Balure builds speed and FLIES! Direct hit and fans fire up with Balure! Balure puts Osphala back in, climbs up top, but Osphala rolls away. Balure hops down and storms after Osphala, but Osphala drop toeholds! Osphala floats to a facelock, drags Balure up, knees him low, and crosses Balure’s arms. Osphala suplexes but Balure kicks and resists the suplex. Balure NORTHERN LIGHTS SUPLEX! Bridging cover, TWO! Balure CHOPS Osphala! Osphala bends back like that cut to his soul! Balure then brings Osphala into a dragon sleeper, ELBOW DROP DDT! Balure drags Osphala to a drop zone then goes up the corner. COUP DE- NO! Osphala moves!

Balure lands on his feet but his leg jams! Balure hobbles, Osphala chop blocks him! Osphala trips Balure up, laces up the legs, for the SAND CASTLE! This is the same sequence as a year ago at Biron Snowshelf! But Balure flails, grabs at Osphala’s face and fish hooks his nose! The ref reprimands but Osphala still loses his leverage on the Sand Castle. Balure rains down fists then stomps him over and over. Balure fires up, fans are torn, and Balure drags Osphala back up. Balure has the Half Hatch but Osphala RAMS him into a corner! Osphala rolls back and runs back in to forearm smash! Osphala runs corner to corner and back again, into a SLINGBLADE!

Balure roars, goes to a corner, and then takes aim with finger guns. Osphala gets up and staggers, but he avoids the shotgun dropkick! Osphala hurries to get Balure’s arms and the facelock! SAND ROD!! Cover, but the ref points out Osphala’s feet are under the ropes! Osphala hurries to drag Balure away from ropes, cover, TWO!! That delay might’ve just cost Osphala! Osphala hurries to get Balure’s legs but Balure resists and kicks Osphala away. Balure blocks Osphala’s clothesline to spin him around and dragon sleeper, but Osphala snapmares free! Ghost pin, TWO! Osphala facelocks and KNEES Balure in the ribs, then crosses the arms! SAND ROD!! Cover, TWO!?! HOW?!?

Osphala can’t believe Balure survives and neither can the fans! Fans chant “This is Awesome!” as Osphala thinks on what he has to do. Osphala drags Balure by his legs, turns him over and ties the legs up, but Balure rolls as Osphala drops back for the Sand Castle! Balure stands up to DOUBLE STOMP Osphala down! Balure drags Osphala up while he’s sputtering, Half Hatch, but Osphala fights the lift! Osphala wrenches out, BOTH men ROCK the other with a forearm! Osphala comes back, into Balure’s PELE! Balure gets a leg and drags Osphala down, into an STF! Balure’s returning the favor from last year! Osphala fights the hold, reaches out, but Balure hooks that arm!

Balure rolls Osphala away from ropes, and then cranks on the crossface! Osphala still endures, drags himself towards ropes, Balure keeps trying on the hold, but Osphala gets the ROPEBREAK! Balure holds on until the ref counts 4 and fans are fired up again! Osphala sputters and coughs as he gets up the ropes, and he turns around into a CHOP! Balure gets him in another dragon sleeper, inverted suplex and SLAM! Balure goes right to the corner and goes right up top! COUP DE GRACE!!! Cover, BALURE WINS!

HPW Goddess Championship: Zelda VS Hilda w/ Ravio!

The Princess of Hyrule is ready to make history! She will have a ONE YEAR REIGN, only if she retains the title! Will Her Grace and her henchmen do everything in their power to dethrone Zelda? Or will Zelda deny Hilda her crowning achievement?

Zelda brings back the modified Sheik outfit with the gold trim. Hilda has a silver variation of her usual purple gear, but with purple and gold trip. Since Ravio is with her, we’re getting a sneak peek of his own silver and purple gear. But then referee Maron Ronron knows better than to trust Ravio at ringside. Ravio promises he’ll behave but Maron doesn’t believe him so she EJECTS him! Ravio sulks back up the ramp while the introductions are made. The belt is raised, and we see who makes history!

Fans are fired up already as the two stare down. Hilda gets annoyed that so many more fans are chanting for Zelda than for her. Hilda bails out and covers her ears while she walks around. Fans boo now but that just gives Hilda  reason to cover her ears more. Zelda storms up to the ropes but Maron has her stay inside. Maron starts a ring count on Hilda. Fans chant “Get Counted Out! Get Counted Out!” but Hilda tells them to shut up. The count reaches 5 of 10 and Hilda gets nervous. Zelda dares her to get in, the count reaches 8, and Hilda rushes in! Zelda hurries after her, but Hilda slips back out! Hilda trips Zelda, drags her out, and RAMS her into the apron!

Hilda whips Zelda into the barriers, then uppercuts her against them! Zelda flops to the floor, Hilda fires up but fans boo and jeer again. “You Still Suck! You Still Suck!” Hilda drags Zelda up, POSTS her, then puts her in the ring. Hilda slips in then back out to refresh the ring count, and she pulls Zelda over to the post. Hilda gets a DRAPING HEEL HOOK! Maron reprimands and counts, Hilda lets go at 4. Hilda “apologizes,” then she SLAMS Zelda’s leg against the post! Maron reprimands again as Hilda gets in the ring. Hilda drags Zelda from the corner, pulling on Zelda’s hair. Maron reprimands, Hilda stomps Zelda’s bad leg!

Hilda grabs the bad leg for a GROUND DRAGON SCREW! Zelda clutches the knee but Hilda stomps and kicks the leg, then YANKS it! Hilda KICKS Zelda down, then gets the leg to drop knees on the knee! Hilda gets a toehold, pulls on the leg, but Zelda endures. Zelda pulls Hilda’s hair, Maron reprimands, but Zelda goes for a dragon sleeper now. Hilda throws elbows into Zelda’s stomach and ribs, then CLAWS Zelda’s thigh! Thankfully she’s wearing the Sheik suit! Zelda still can’t keep the dragon sleeper, so she throws elbows into Hilda’s shoulder and neck area! Zelda throws clubbing crossface forearms, and she manages to turn toehold into rear mount!

Zelda clubs Hilda a couple more times, then goes for the chicken wing! Hilda scrambles around as Zelda tries for the crossface! Hilda reaches out, kicks around, Zelda keeps trying, ROPEBREAK with a foot! Maron counts, Zelda lets go quickly, and she gets space to shake out the bad leg. Hilda gets up and clutches her shoulder while getting that arm to move. The two reset and fans fire up again. Zelda and Hilda circle, approach, and Hilda KICKS the bad leg! Zelda hobbles, but she spin back kicks! Zelda reels Hilda into a facelock, turns her, but Hilda fights the neckbreaker to arm-drag Zelda down for an armlock! Hilda cranks on the cording hold but fans rally up.

Zelda fights up, stomps Hilda’s foot, and Hilda bends down to clutch that foot. Zelda hooks her leg on Hilda’s head and goes up and over to then back suplex! Bridging cover, TWO! Zelda holds on to get the arms for a grounded cobra twist! Hilda endures, even as Zelda thrashes her around. Zelda then brings Hilda backwards into a cover, TWO! Zelda still has the arms, for RINGS OF SATURN! Fans fire up, Hilda flails and kicks her legs, she moves around, and gets the ROPEBREAK with a foot! Zelda lets go at 4, then gets the legs to roll Hilda into sitting up. Zelda keeps moving and she comes back to BASEMENT METEORA Hilda down! Cover, TWO!

Hilda rolls away to the apron. Zelda storms over after her, grabs at Hilda through the ropes, but Hilda pulls her into the ropes to choke her! Maron reprimands and counts, Hilda lets go at 4. Then Hilda KICKS Zelda while she’s in the ropes! Hilda then facelocks Zelda for a DRAPING APRON DDT! A bit double-edged since Hilda has to land on the apron, too, but she gets up to slingshot and sunset flip! Cover, TWO!! Zelda survives and Hilda is furious! She argues the count with Maron but Maron says it was fair. Hilda huffs and puffs as she drags Zelda to center and ties up the legs. Hilda sits Zelda up, but Zelda resists Her Royal Highness’ Matched Luggage!

Zelda hooks Hilda’s left arm and leg and manages to drag her into a cradle! TWO, but Zelda holds onto Hilda’s leg. Zelda drops into a HEEL HOOK! More or less returning the favor from earlier! Hilda scrambles and reaches for ropes, Zelda drags her back! Fans fire up as Hilda endures. Hilda stomps Zelda with her free leg, but Zelda catches that foot and adds it for a DOUBLE HEEL HOOK! Hilda endures again, still reaches out, practically tries to do the backstroke, but Zelda drags her back again. Zelda turns Hilda over for a modified HALF SAND CRAB! Hilda endures even more now as fans fire back up! Hilda claws, powers up, and gets to the ROPEBREAK!

Maron counts, Zelda lets go at 4 again, and she walks off her frustration. Hilda crawls to a corner, and she starts untying a buckle. Maron notices and reprimands her! Hilda stops and Zelda runs in to stomp her down! Maron counts at Zelda now and Zelda drags Hilda from the corner. Hilda kicks Zelda’s leg but Zelda kicks her in the side. Hilda kicks Zelda in the leg again, Zelda kicks Hilda in the side again. They’re egging each other on as the kicks keep going back and forth! Fans rally up as they go faster and faster, Zelda KICKS Hilda in the arm, but Hilda gets up in a huff to ROCK Zelda with a forearm! And then CHOP her, and then ROCK her again!

Zelda leans on ropes, Hilda CHOPS and CHOPS and CHOPS! But then Zelda blocks the chop! Hilda can’t get free and  Zelda WRINGS the arm, then FUJIWARA! Hilda endures, reaches out with a leg, but Zelda hooks the arm and rolls Hilda to a backslide! ONE as Hilda rolls off, but Zelda has the wrists! LIGHT- NO! Hilda drops back to avoid the knee! Hilda rolls Zelda up, with tights! TWO!! Zelda is furious and Hilda hurries to a corner. She begs for forgiveness, but then YANKS Zelda into the buckle! The loose buckle from earlier!! Hilda O’Conner Rolls with bridge, TWO!! Hilda freaks out that Zelda survives!

Hilda storms back to the corner and finishes removing the buckle pad, even with Maron reprimanding. Hilda then goes back to Zelda and drags her up. Hilda runs Zelda to the corner, but Zelda blocks the bare buckle bump! Zelda throws body shots, then throws forearms. Hilda swings back but Zelda catches the clothesline to spin her around for chicken wings! TIGER SUPLEX! Bridging cover, TWO! INTO THE IMPA LOCK!! Hilda kicks and flails, rolls back to a cover, ONE! Zelda has the arms for a motorcycle stretch, BLINDSIDE LIGHT ARROW!! Zelda turns Hilda over to cover, Zelda wins!

Winner: Zelda, by pinfall (still HPW Goddess Champion)

She’s done it! The Princess of Hyrule keeps her crown and completes ONE FULL YEAR as champion! History has been made, what more will Zelda do in her reign?

Hilda stays ringside, and Ravio makes his return. Referees change as Maron Ronron gives Tiger Sahasrahla the ring for the main event. Fans applaud and Sahasrahla takes a bow. Then the lights go down and we turn our attention to the titantron. A somewhat ominous song plays and there’s a Star Wars opening scroll of text.

There is a legend oft told in Hyrule Kingdom. It is the legend of the Triforce, once kept within Hyrule itself. Said to be a gift of the gods, the Triforce could grant a wish of all those who touched it. That power could still be within the Triforce within this title. (An image of the Triforce Championship is shown) So of course, many want to get their hands on it. Wars have been fought for the Triforce Championship. (Highlight reel of the original tournament)

A thief of notorious repute took this title for himself and cast darkness on Hyrule. (Highlights from Link VS Ganondorf, Treasure Island 1 last year) But just as Ganondorf had the world in his evil clutches, a hero answered the call of Hyrule’s people. (Highlights from Ganondorf VS Link, HyruleMania 1) And this hero, wielding the Master Sword, took up the quest to challenge Ganondorf’s might. In an epic battle, the hero defeated the evil and rescued the Triforce Championship. And for almost a full year, prosperity has reigned.

And while legends come to us from the distant past, others have yet to be written…

HPW Triforce Championship: Link VS Ravio w/ Hilda!

The tron’s special package is over and the lights come back up. There, Link is dressed with stark white tights with boots, and green tunic over brown sleeves. Another iconic look from wrestling heroes past, perhaps? Link gets in the ring, the introductions are made and the belt is raised. It is time to see who’s legend grows on New Year’s Eve!

Fans are fired up already as Link and Ravio stare down. They circle, Ravio does some drop steps and fires himself up. He even bounces on his feet and slaps his shoulders to fire up more. They approach, and Ravio shoves Link down to then go for the opposite corner! Ravio starts untying the top buckle pad! Sahasrahla reprimands while Link gets up and hurries over but Ravio throws the top buckle pad at him! Link sputters from getting hit in the face, and Ravio is working on the middle pad. Sahasrahla reprimands Ravio more, but Link CLUBS Ravio! Link wrenches Ravio’s arm, has a wristlock, but Ravio rolls and wrenches back.

Link rolls and wrenches, Ravio rolls and wrenches, Link rolls but Ravio flicks him in the ear! Sahasrahla reprimands but Ravio whips Link to the corner. Link stops himself from hitting the bare top buckle, but he loses his footing on the loose middle pad! Ravio runs in and back body blocks Link into the buckles! Link clutches the back of his neck from hitting the buckle, and Ravio snapmares Link to wrap on a chinlock. Link endures and fans rally up as Ravio thrashes him around. Link rolls to slip out while putting a hammerlock on Ravio! Now Ravio endures while fans cheer for Link! Ravio reaches back and grabs Link’s hair. Sahasrahla reprimands but Ravio pushes up.

Ravio throws back elbows, then wrenches and whips Link to ropes. Ravio sidesteps, drops and keeps Link going, then repeats again, and again, and again. Fans rally up as Link keeps going, and going, and going, and then he whips Ravio! But then Ravio holds ropes to put a stop to it! Fans are a little disappointed but they also laugh as Link wants Ravio to run the ropes but Ravio shakes his head no. Link rushes over, Ravio boots, but Link blocks it! Link throws the leg down to CHOP Ravio against ropes! Ravio goes to a corner but Link CHOPS him again! Link CHOPS Ravio again, Sahasrahla counts the ropebreak but Link CHOPS again. Link backs off at 4, but then CHOPS again!

Ravio staggers away but then goes between the ropes as a defense. Sahasrahla has Link stay back and Ravio gets out of the ring. Link slides out to pursue but Ravio gets right back in and PLANCHAS! Direct hit and down goes Link! Hilda goes to the corner and finishes untying the loose middle buckle pad! She even unties the bottom one as Ravio drags Link up to RAM into barriers! Ravio puts Link in at 4 of 10, then aims for the completely bare corner! Ravio whips Link but Link reverses and Ravio takes the bare buckles! Hilda curses Ravio’s bad luck but fans are cheering! Link runs in but Ravio dodges and Link hits buckles! Ravio schoolboy bridges, TWO!

Fans fire up as the two stand off. They reset and fans rally up. They circle, approach, and Link shoots in to waistlock, but Ravio resists the lift. Ravio switches, shoves Link at Sahasrahla but Link stops himself. Ravio then dropkicks Link into Sahasrahla and they fall in the corner! Ravio goes outside and looks under the ring. “Nana nana, nana nana, nana nana, nana nana… NA NA NA NAAA~!” It’s a TABLE! Fans cheer as Ravio sets up what is clearly his table, given the purple rabbit logo painted on the wood. Ravio gets the table into the ring, but Link WRECKS him with a dropkick! Link brings the table back out of the ring, and fans chant, “Table! Table!”

Link lifts up the apron skirt but fans boo! They want tables! Link thinks about it, and then picks the table up to SLAM it wood side down on Ravio! Link then goes up to the apron, jumps and DOUBLE STOMPS it into Ravio! Not the conventional way to break a table but it still worked out. Link drags Ravio out of the wreckage and into the ring, but Hilda creeps over. Link looks at her and she backs off, but Ravio DIVES! Direct hit with the low-pe and Link is sent into barriers! Sahasrahla’s back up and he starts a ring count. Ravio bumps Link off the apron at 3 then rolls in just to refresh the count. Ravio POSTS Link, then whips Link into steel steps!

Ravio refreshes the ring count again, then stomps Link. Ravio pulls the steel steps apart and fans fire up. He drags Link over, scoops and SLAMS Link onto the base steps! Link writhes, and Ravio picks up the top part of the steps! Ravio lifts the steps up, but Link avoids the SMASH as Ravio swings them down! Link then kicks Ravio low, fireman’s carries him, and hits a BOMBOS MEDALLION to the steps! Fans lose their minds was Ravio writhes to the floor. Sahasrahla stops the count to check on Ravio and Link goes into the ring. Ravio is somehow okay to continue, so Link goes out to fetch him. Link puts Ravio in, covers, TWO!!

Fans fire up and Link is surprised. Link drags Ravio up, fireman’s carries again, but Ravio fights free! Ravio throws a forearm, Link throws a forearm back. Ravio forearms again, Link throws the forearm back again. Ravio throws body shots, a forearm and uppercut! Link ROUNDHOUSES, SUPERKICKS and PELES! Ravio staggers, Link reels him in to suplex, STUN-DOG MILLIONAIRE! Link staggers, Ravio runs, RABBIT KNEES!! Cover, TWO?!? Link survives and both Ravio and Hilda are furious! Ravio stomps away on Link, then runs to springboard leg drop! Cover, TWO! Ravio pulls on his mask’s rabbit ears in frustration!

Ravio drags Link up and shouts, “I have to get the Triforce title! I have to! For Hilda! Do you understand?!” Then Ravio SLAPS Link! And Link is NOT happy about that! Link fires off haymaker after haymaker and he backs Ravio down to a corner! Link keeps firing off but Sahasrahla counts. Link lets off at 4 but he’s all fired up! But Ravio runs at him for a THESZ PRESS! Ravio throws down fast hands, then stomps Link, then drags Link up by his hair. But Link grabs Ravio by his mask! The two thrash each other around, Sahasrahla reprimanding the whole time! Sahasrahla counts, the two of them HEADBUTT at 3! Fans fire up as Link glares at Ravio.

Link grabs Ravio’s mask, and CLAWS Ravio’s head! Ravio grabs Link’s hair and CLAWS his head! Link grabs Ravio’s mask again, and CLAWS his head again! Ravio again grabs Link’s hair and CLAWS his head! They go back and forth, CLAW after CLAW of each other’s heads! Link gets the edge, CLAW after CLAW after CLAW! But then Ravio grabs Link’s hair again! Link grabs Ravio’s mask again, and neither lets go. They end up cornering Sahasrahla, and Sahasrahla climbs up the ropes. Sahasrahla DOUBLE AX HANDLES the arms, stopping both men, and fans are thunderous! Both men get up, Link runs into an atomic drop!

Ravio runs at the corner, but Link dodges and Ravio hits bare buckles! Link “draws his sword,” takes aim, runs but Ravio bails out to avoid the Master Sword knee. Link gives chase around the ring, but Hilda’s in his way! Link tries to get around, but Hilda stays in his way. Link picks Hilda up and puts her on the apron! Sahasrahla tells Hilda to get down but Hilda says it’s Link’s fault she’s up here! Link catches up to Ravio as he goes under the ring! Link drags Ravio out but Ravio found a bucket? Ravio BOPS Link with it! But Sahasrahla misses it because he’s arguing with Hilda! Ravio gets in the ring but Link drags him out to get in.

But Ravio gets Link’s legs, and Hilda throws him something! It’s wrist tape! Ravio starts wrapping up Link’s legs! Link clubs at Ravio but Ravio just keeps taping the legs! Sahasrahla reprimands but Ravio drags Link out. But then Link keeps Ravio from getting in, CLUBS away on his back, and then hops around to get Ravio’s tape. Link returns the favor and tapes Ravio’s legs up! Sahasrahla reprimands Link but Link finishes taping up Ravio’s legs. Link hops into the ring, and the two of them hopping around is fitting of Ravio being a rabbit. They hop after each other, and Link throws a haymaker! Ravio returns the haymaker, so Link throws another one.

Ravio wobbles, but he punches back! Link wobbles and flails his arms, but he comes back with another haymaker! Ravio keeps himself up with his hands to haymaker again. Link gets a headlock, but Ravio powers out, and Link hops his way to ropes! Link hops back and he runs Ravio over with a shoulder! Link fires up, hops his way to ropes and back, but Ravio stays low. Link hops over Ravio, hops his way back, and he DOUBLE STOMPS Ravio down! Link gets back up, drags Ravio up, reels him in, but Ravio resists the suplex. Ravio tries but Link resists the suplex back. They go back and forth, Link CLUBS Ravio, but still Ravio resists. Link spins Ravio around, to GERMAN SUPLEX!

Fans are thunderous again and Link starts pulling the tape apart. But this is taking too long, so he scoots his way to his corner. Link gets the Master Sword and uses it to cut the tape! Link is free, but Ravio is there to rake his eyes! Ravio grabs for the Master Sword, only to get a MASTER SWORD KNEE! Cover, TWO!! To a roll-up, TWO!! Link runs and dropkicks Ravio out of the ring! Hilda goes to Ravio as fans rally up. Ravio drags himself up the barriers, the ring count climbs, and Hilda coaches him up. Ravio shakes his head, he can’t possibly win! Not with his legs literally tied! Hilda SLAPS Ravio, and then kisses him!? And a pretty deep one, too!

Link and just about everyone is shocked! Ravio fires up, and so do the fans! Ravio hops up to the apron, but into a MASTER SWORD KNEE! Ravio’s feet get hooked on the ropes, keeping him on the apron! The ring count returns, and it climbs to 5 of 10 before Ravio frees his feet. Hilda is already regretting giving him that kiss. Ravio drags himself up again, using the apron skirt. Ravio gets himself in at 9 of 10! Link reels Ravio in for BLADERUN- NO! Ravio gets behind to O’Conner Roll! But with his legs tied together, he can’t hold it! He falls back and Link waistlocks him to bring him up and GERMAN SUPLEX again! But Ravio lands on his feet! And he SHOTGUN dropkicks Link down!

Ravio tries to kip up but his legs tied together messes that up. Ravio manages to get to his feet, and Link SUPERKICKS him! Link reels Ravio in, suplexes, QUAKE MEDALLION! Then he gets the wrists and sits Ravio up to LIGHT ARROW! Cover, Link wins!

Winner: Link, by pinfall (still HPW Triforce Champion)

The Hero of Hyrule survives every trick in Ravio’s book, and he also completes a ONE YEAR REIGN! Will Link repeat this performance through another 12 months? Either way, have yourselves a Happy New Year!

My Thoughts:

Well yeah, Happy New Year, everyone! Another year of Hyrule Pro-Wrestling in the books! And though maybe not quite as epic as the first with the main event of Link VS Ganondorf and the moon showing up to watch, I think year two has a lot of great things for the ending. There are Gerudos as champions in two divisions, my Finn Balor parody/tribute has a title, which is more than Vince McMahon is willing to do for real Finn, there was a team break-up and a gimmick change, and we have the top champions just dominating. I wonder if HPW fans would think Zelda and/or Link are being pushed too much… And again, Happy New Year!
