Orange Cassidy, Chuck Taylor, Trent Beretta & Rocky Romero did not appreciate QT Marshall piledriving Danhausen’s head into the steel ring steps! Of course, neither did the Very Nice, Very Evil Overlord. And going by the spooky video shared last night on Rampage, Danhausen is coming back for revenge! Will the Factory be cursed for what they’ve done?
Well, wait, where’s the fifth man? It seems the Best Friends will have to do this at just four, and the team sorts out. The Kentucky Gentleman starts against Solo, they circle and approach, but Solo kicks low! Solo DECKS Chuck, has him in a corner and stomps him. Solo whips corner to corner, runs in, but Chuck goes up and over to hit a COMPLETE SHOT! Into the KOJI KLUTCH! Solo scrambles to get the ROPEBREAK! Chuck lets off but drags Solo up to tag in Trent. They double whip Solo to run him over! Fans fire up as Best Friends flex. Trent drags Solo up, CHOPS him in the corner, then CHOPS again!
Solo turns things around and puts some stank on it, but Trent dodges the chop to CHOP again! Solo falls over while fans “WOO~!” Trent drags Solo up, whips him to ropes, and QT gets a cheap shot in! Fans boo and Solo tags Lee Johnson. Trent dodges to DECK Big Shotty! Tag to Rocky, and RPG Vice coordinate. Trent hangs Johnson out to dry, Rocky hits a FLYING KNEE to knock Johnson down, and Trent runs to SLIDING KNEE! Rocky sits Johnson up, and he high-fives Trent! Cole Karter runs in but into a DOUBLE HIP TOSS! Rocky tags Chuck and Chuck tags Trent. Chuck DECKS Comoroto, then he and Trent grab Johnson.
Best Friends double whip Johnson corner to corner, then Rocky hits a clothesline! And another! And then another! The Forever Clotheslines keep going! SHOTEI! Fans fire up with Rocky, but QT gets in. Rocky dodges, Chuck ROCKS QT! Then Rocky ROCKS QT! Then Trent ROCKS QT! They pinball QT around with the haymakers and uppercuts! Cassidy joins in and fans fire up! QT wobbles as Cassidy winds up. But then QT falls over! Fans cheer as QT flops out of the ring, and Best Friends go to the corners. But The Factory trips them all up, they do NOT give the people what they want! The Factory then gets in to stomp quadruple mudholes!
QT shouts to his team, and then The Factory winds it up! The Factory GROUP HUGS! That’s still not what the people want! Johnson bumps Trent off buckles, fires off haymakers and stomps, then he drags Trent up. Tag to Comoroto and they mug Trent. Trent hits back, but Comoroto knees low. Comoroto whips Trent corner to corner hard and Trent tumbles right out of the ring! Comoroto argues with the ref, allowing Johnson to stomp away on Trent! Johnson puts Trent in the ring, Comoroto drags Trent up, and Karter tags in. Comoroto scoops and trophy lifts Trent for a SLAM! Karter goes up to FROG SPLASH onto knees!
Trent and Karter are down and fans rally up. Karter crawls to his corner, but Trent crawls for his. QT tags in and he drags Trent away! QT then sucker punches Chuck and Rocky! Cassidy avoids the shot, and shakes his head. Trent gets QT for a SAIDO! Fans rally up again as QT and Trent crawl, hot tags to Comoroto and Cassidy! Freshly Squeezed has the Freak Beast wait. The hands go up, and then into the pockets! Cassidy unleashes the “devastating” shin kicks! Then he dodges Comoroto to SHOTGUN! Comoroto tumbles out and Cassidy kips up. Karter runs in, Cassidy ducks and drops to NO HANDS MONKEY FLIP Karter!
Solo & Johnson get in, they roll Cassidy to his feet but he dodges them to DOUBLE RANA! Fans fire up and Cassidy gives the lazy thumbs up. But QT kicks low and ROCKS Cassidy! QT whips Cassidy but Cassidy goes up and out and he bumps QT off the buckle over and over! QT wobbles and Cassidy goes up! Cassidy CROSSBODIES! Cassidy keeps moving, he ducks ‘n’ dodges to tilt-o-whirl, but QT blocks the DDT to POP-UP HAYMAKER! Solo & QT DECK Best Friends from the apron! Solo runs in, but is put outside. Karter ROCKS Cassidy, Johnson adds on, then QT SPLASHES! QT feeds Cassidy to Comoroto for a scoop and BACKBREAKER!
Comoroto holds Cassidy in place as Solo goes up, and Solo adds his FLYING DOUBLE STOMPS! Cover, Trent breaks it! Fans fire up and Cassidy bails out. QT storms in but Trent blocks the cutter! Trent sends QT into buckles, then he hits a TORNADO DDT! Solo SCREW HIGH KICKS Trent! But Solo gets a SEXY CHUCKIE KNEE, then the HALF ‘N’ HALF SOLE FOOD! Best Friends get up, but Comoroto CLOBBERS them both! Rocky HOTSHOTS Comoroto then gives him SLICED BREAD! Johnson runs in but Rocky elbows him away. Rocky runs, but into a BLUE THUNDER BOMB! But Cassidy PENALTY KICKS Johnson!
Cassidy keeps moving, tilt-o-whirl DDT!! Fans fire up as Cassidy dodges Karter, tilt-o-whirl, but into a SLAM from Karter! Fans boo Karter but he builds speed. Karter FLIES but ends up taking out his own team! Best Friends are in the ring, they build speed, TRIPLE TOPE takes out The Factory! Cassidy throws off his elbow pad, ORANGE- DIAMOND CUTTER! QT intercepts Cassidy and fans boo! QT grins and goes to the corner. He drags Cassidy to the steel steps! He mocks Danhausen, but wait! Here comes DARK-HAUSEN! He has his iron spike and his jar of human teeth! He storms to the ring and tags in!
Fans fire up as Danhausen shoulders in, slingshots over QT and GERMAN SUPLEXES! Karter runs in, but Danhausen spins him for a NORTHERN LIGHTS! Then a LARIAT for Solo! Danhausen dodges Johnson to SNAP GERMAN! Fans fire up for the Extra Nice, Extra Evil Danhausen! Comoroto runs in but is sent right into buckles! Comoroto comes back, into the ORANGE PUNCH! Comoroto drops, and fans start chanting, “TEETH! TEETH! TEETH!” Danhausen empties the jar of teeth into Comoroto’s mouth! Danhausen then goes to the corner and runs in to BOOT the teeth outta Comoroto’s mouth! Cover, Best Friends win!

Renee Paquette is with the newest member of the AEW roster, and she congratulates him on the win with Jun Akiyama last night. How is he feeling? Konosuke says it was good, he was looking forward to that fight with Eddie and Ortiz. Also, he’s happy to come back to America and AEW. That being said, huge congrats on being #AllElite! Konosuke says he is honored to join AEW, he thanks Tony Khan, the AEW wrestlers, staff and fans for this. It was Konosuke’s childhood dream to come to America and wrestle. That dream has come true, so he’s going to move here, and he will fight for his life for AEW. What will happen now that the Future of DDT is also the Future of AEW?

“All Ego” Ethan Page joins commentary for this one, because we will finally see who faces him in the tournament finals! The Absolute made it through the Murderhawk Monster, but will he be able to make it through The Machine? Or will even Starks admit, “Who betta than Brian Cage? Nobody!”
Starks is bandaged up from that match with Lance Archer, which really started as a backstage brawl. And as soon as he slides into the ring, Cage stomps away on him! The bell rings, the fans boo and the ref reprimands, but Cage brings Starks up to whip. Starks hits a THESZ PRESS! Starks throws down hands, Cage gets away but the brawling continues! Starks gets the edge, headlocks, but Cage powers out to then run Starks over. Starks bails out, Cage pursues, and Cage throws knees. Cage whips Starks into railing! Starks slumps over into the front row, but Cage brings him back out. Cage APRON BACK SUPLEXES!
Starks crawls while fans boo Cage. Cage drags Starks up, puts him in the ring, but Starks tiger feints to KICK Cage! Starks fires off hands, sends Cage into the apron, then pushes him into the ring. Starks hurries up but Cage ROUNDHOUSES him! Cage goes up the corner, and he deadlift SUPERPLEXES! Cage flexes while fans boo some more. Cage drags Starks up, bumps him off buckles, then he throws big forearms. Cage CHOKES Starks, then throws body shots! The ref counts, fans rally, and Cage ROCKS Starks at 4. Starks ROCKS Cage back! And again and again! But Cage KNEES Starks down!
Cage CHOKES Starks on the ropes, the ref counts again, and Cage lets off at 4. Cage drags Starks up, whips him corner to corner, and Starks hits buckles face first! Starks falls back and Cage gives him toying kicks. Fans boo but Cage drags Starks up. Starks pushes him away but Cage stomps Starks! Cage jams his knee in, then he drags Starks up. Starks CHOPS back! Cage just flexes the dancing pecs. Starks JABS Cage instead! But Cage scoops to a BACKBREAKER! Starks crawls to a corner, Cage snarls and runs side to side, to BOOT WASH! Starks sputters and crawls to the apron, but Cage drags him back in.
Cage RAMS Starks in the corner, but Starks throws down hands! Cage RAMS Starks again, then whips him corner to corner. Nana cheers while fans boo, but Starks BOOTS Cage! And BOOTS again! Starks CHOPS, ROCKS and fires off hands. Cage knees low, reels Starks in, but Starks slips under the short arm lariat to TORNADO- NO, Cage denies the DDT! Cage waistlocks, Starks switches, they go to a corner but Cage bucks the O’Conner Roll. Starks comes back to ELBOW Cage! Starks goes corner to corner to ELBOW again! Starks keeps moving, and he LEAPING LARIATS! Fans fire up and Starks strikes his pose!
Starks snarls, runs in at Cage, but Cage puts Starks on the apron. Starks ROCKS Cage, climbs up the corner, and CROSSBODIES, but into Cage’s arms! SWINGING BACKBREAKER! Cover, TWO!! Starks survives and Cage grows frustrated. Fans rally but Cage ripcords Starks right to a fireman’s carry! But Starks fights free with elbows! Starks waistlocks, Cage switches and CLUBS Starks on the back! Cage dragon sleepers, but Starks slips out of the inverted suplex! Starks runs in to TORNADO DDT! Cover, TWO! Cage survives but fans rally behind Starks. Nana shouts at Cage to get up but Starks drags Cage up.
Starks reels Cage in, underhooks the arms, but Cage back drops free! Cage brings Starks around, puts one out, and Gory Especials, but Starks sunset flips through! TWO!!! SUPERKICK from Cage! Cage spins, Starks dodges and SPEARS!! Cover, TWO!!! Cage survives and Starks can’t believe it! Fans still rally for Starks as he brings Cage back up. Cage pops Starks up to a POWERBOMB! And then deadlifts to BUCKLE BOMB! Then DISCUS!! Cover, TWO!!! Starks survives and he even SLAPS Cage! Cage drags Starks to the drop zone and he goes to the corner. Cage climbs up, leaps, but Starks avoids the elbow drop!

Renee knows last night on Rampage, even though it was a tag team match, Eddie’s attention was fully on Jun Akiyama. Now that he’s moment away from THE dream match, how is he feeling? Like he doesn’t wanna talk right now. Eddie was 18 years old when he first saw Akiyama fight, and he said that is who he wants to fight, and that was the style he wanted to use, the All Japan King’s Road style. Google it if you have to. But Eddie isn’t sure how he feels. He can’t even focus on things right now because his mind’s already in the ring. “Akiyama… I’m gonna…”
Fans cheer Eddie on as he heads to gorilla! Will the 18 year wait be worth it? Or will the dream match with The Sternness turn into a nightmare?

The bell rings and fans fire up as the two stare down. Eddie and Akiyama circle, tie up, and Akiyama headlocks. Eddie powers out, CHOPS, but Akiyama doesn’t stop moving! Akiyama JUMP KNEES Eddie but he stays up to rebound and run Akiyama over! Fans fire up as Akiyama gets right back up! Akiyama and Eddie reset and fans start to duel. The Eddie fans come out stronger, though, and Eddie and Akiyama feel things out. They clinch, Eddie facelocks but Akiyama waistlocks. Eddie wrenches an arm, goes to the waistlock, but Akiyama fights the lift. Akiyama wrenches, Eddie claws at Akiyama but he can’t block the wristlock.
Eddie fights to get the full nelson, but Akiyama powers it open! Eddie powers it closed, but Akiyama powers it open again. Fans rally as Akiyama endures, stomps forward and gets the ropebreak! Eddie lets off clean, but then he CHOPS! That one causes speakers to reverb, but Akiyama doesn’t flinch at all! Akiyama ROCKS Eddie, Eddie CHOPS, repeat! Fans fire up as the forearms and CHOPS keep going, faster and faster! Eddie wobbles, but he CHOPS back! Akiyama staggers back, but he brushes himself off to ROCK Eddie again! Eddie CHOPS, Akiyama ROCKS, repeat! Eddie CHOPS and CHOPS and has Akiyama in a corner!
Eddie whips corner to corner, runs in but into a BOOT! Akiyama goes up, but Eddie SWATS him down to the floor! Fans rally and Eddie goes out after Akiyama. Eddie brings Akiyama up as the ring count starts. Eddie gets Akiyama on the apron, but Akiyama blocks the half nelson lift! Akiyama mule kicks the leg to get free, then he APRON DDTS! Akiyama turns Eddie around, goes to the apron, and GUILLOTINE KNEES! Eddie flounders into the ring, and Ortiz is now ringside as Eddie’s cornerman. Ortiz coaches Eddie while fans rally and duel. Eddie sits up, shakes out his arms, and Akiyama drags Eddie around.
Akiyama has the arms and pulls them back, for a STOMP! Eddie writhes and shakes out his arms, but Akiyama drops a knee. Eddie snarls but Akiyama brings him up, for a PILEDRIVER! Cover, TWO!! Eddie is still in this but Akiyama keeps cool. Eddie sits up, into a RUNNING KNEE! Akiyama goes to a corner and he climbs up top. Eddie stands and he ROCKS Akiyama! And then SWATS him back down! But he still swings into the HALF ‘N’ HALF! But Akiyama gets up, to hit an EXPLODER! Eddie gets up! EXPLODER!! Akiyama is back with the RUNNING KNEE!! Both men are down and New Jersey is thunderous!

The collapse of Jurassic Express is coming to a head! Captain Charisma and his Right Hand of Destruction betrayed Jack Perry, they attacked Jack Perry and they hurt Jack Perry. But now, Jack Perry looks to hurt Luchasaurus in return! Who proves they were the strongest part of that team all along?
JB slams the door shut on the cage and a ref locks it. The bell rings and fans fire up as the two stare down. JB takes a moment to look at just how big the cage is, but Luchasaurus storms over. JB dodges to throw body shots, but Luchasaurus scoops him! JB fights free and then KICKS and throws hands! Luchasaurus TOSSES JB to a corner, but JB slips out to the apron. JB then slides under, slips out and shoulders into Luchasaurus. JB springboards but Luchasaurus catches him at the ropes! Luchasaurus SHOVES JB at the steel cage! But JB clings to the cage like Spider-Man! JB KICKS Luchasaurus away, then goes to the rope to MISSILE DROPKICK!
Fans fire up as JB kips up! JB runs in at the corner, jumps up and rains down fists! Luchasaurus shoves him away but JB comes back for more! Luchasaurus shoves him away again but JB ducks and dodges, only for Luchasaurus to BOOT him down! Luchasaurus then scoops JB again, to LAWN DART into the steel! JB falls back in a heap and fans boo as Luchasaurus roars. Luchasaurus then goes to the corner, talks trash, and then goes to the apron. Luchasaurus looms over JB, drags him around, and we see JB’s forehead is busted open! Luchasaurus grinds JB into the steel chain link to open up the wound!
Fans boo as Luchasaurus digs his boot into JB. Christian is there to tell JB he should’ve stayed home, and Luchasaurus drags JB up. Luchasaurus suplexes JB to SLAM him into the ring! Luchasaurus stalks JB to a corner while fans boo. Luchasaurus ROCKS JB, throws body shots, and then hauls him up to ROCK with an uppercut! JB sits down but Luchasaurus drags him up. Fans boo more but Christian mockingly poses for pictures with the bloody JB. Luchasaurus hauls JB up again, whips, but JB hits the COMEBACKER! Luchasaurus doesn’t budge! He just deadlifts JB to RAZOR’S EDGE JB into the steel! JB gets stuck in the space between cage and apron! Luchasaurus drags him out from there to cover, TWO!! JB is still in this, and the Perry family rallies up at ringside. Luchasaurus hauls JB up to put him on the top rope. JB boots back! Luchasaurus choke grips, but JB uses that for a HANGING ARMBAR!
Luchasaurus can only endure as JB holds on! JB lets go to get back up. JB ROCKS Luchasaurus, but Luchasaurus BOOTS JB! Luchasaurus choke grips again, for a SUPER BIEL! Luchasaurus then drags JB back up, straitjacket and torture rack, for the CUTTHROAT!! Cover, TWO!! JB survives the modified Burning Hammer and Luchasaurus glares at the ref. The ref defends his count was fair, and fans rally for Bryce. Christian sneaks around, and he snatches the keys from one of the other refs! Fans boo, referee Posey realizes what happened! He tells security to get Christian out of here, but Christian is working to unlock the cage door!
The security grabs Christian and drags him away! Fans cheer but Luchasaurus busts out to BOOT down a guard! But JB LEAPS to attack Luchasaurus! JB dodges and SHOTGUNS Luchasaurus! JB hurries up again, roars, and he runs down the ramp to- get caught! CATAPULT into the steel! JB falls and Luchasaurus reaches under the ring. He drags out a TABLE! Fans are torn because they hate Luchasaurus but love tables. Luchasaurus shoves the table into the ring, then he fetches JB. Luchasaurus TOSSES JB into the steel, then he goes looking under the ring again. Luchasaurus brings out a chair, and then another!
Luchasaurus brings the chairs around into the ring, fetches JB again, and RAMS him into steel steps! And SMACK him off the steps! Fans rally up, “We Want Tables!” JB moves the chairs around first, and he stands on Luchasaurus! He CHOKES Luchasaurus in another reference to Christian’s moveset. JB runs, uses the chair to leap again, but into a choke grip! CHOKE SLAM on the chair!! Cover, TWO?!?! Now JB survives and shocks Luchasaurus! Luchasaurus drags JB up, lifts him and puts him on the top rope backwards. Luchasaurus climbs up behind JB, brings him up again, but JB throws down elbows! JB cravats and goes up, SLICED BREAD!! Death Triangle waits, and then the lights go out. The ticking of a clock is heard, and a message is on the tron. “We are the gears of creation that ticked outside of a machine. Carry on.” The clock bell tolls, and “Carry on, my wayward son~! There’ll be peace when you are done! Lay your weary head to rest~! Don’t you cry no more~…!” Yes, to the sweet music of Kansas, The Elite make their way to the ring, with Brandon Cutler, Michael Nakazawa and even Don Callis behind them.
The introductions are made, the belts are raised, and we see who are truly THE AEW Trios Champions!
The trios sort out and fans are thunderous already as Callis joins commentary. Omega starts against Pac and fans chant for “The! Elite! The the Elite!” Omega and Pac circle, tie up, and they go around! Omega waistlocks, Pac switches, Omega wrenches and wristlocks and Pac rolls. Pac wrenches and WRINGS Omega out! Fans chant “F CM PUNK! F CM PUNK!” Pac wrenches Omega to a wristlock again, but Omega spins and wrenches, but Pac pulls hair! The ref reprimands as Pac puts Omega in a corner and smothers him. Pac lets off but with a low kick! Pac whips, Omega reverses, and Omega runs, into a BOOT!
Pac slips out to the apron and he shoulders into Omega! Pac slingshots up and over, kicks Omega low and whips again. Omega ducks and gets around, to dropkick a leg out! Fans fire up as Omega keeps moving, he KOTARO- NO, Pac handsprings through! And SPITS at Omega! Pac bails out before Omega can get at him! Fans fire up as Pac taunts Omega. Omega cools off and he tags in Nick Jackson. Pac returns, he tags in Fenix. Fans rally as we see these two square off again. The younger brothers tie up, break, tie up again, then speed up. Nick goes up and around, Fenix dodges to tiger feint rewind! Nick ducks the heel kick!
Nick runs in but Fenix puts him on the apron. Fenix then sunset flips but Nick stops the bomb! Nick moonsaults, Fenix avoids it, but Nick keeps Fenix from getting in the ring. Fenix elbows Nick away, then gets in the ring, but Nick follows! Nick DROPKICKS Fenix down! Fans fire up as Fenix bails out and Nick builds speed. But Fenix returns with a somersault! Nick stops the cutter, but Fenix standing switches! Nick elbows free, wheelbarrows, but Fenix stops the stunner! Nick avoids a roundhouse, Fenix avoids the screw high kick, but Fenix HEEL KICKS! Nick ROLLING KICKS! Both men stay up, and they both ROCK each other with forearms!
Nick and Fenix stagger back to their corners, Matt and Penta tag in! The older brothers rush each other to DOUBLE LARIAT! They stay up to DOUBLE BOOT! They stagger, the younger brothers DOUBLE BOOT! Everyone stays standing, for a QUADRUPLE SUPERKICK COLLISION! All four men hobble from Charlie horses! The older brothers DOUBLE BOOT and finally fall! The younger brothers DOUBLE ROUNDHOUSE and finally fall!! All four men KIP UP! Jersey is thunderous as the Bucks and Lucha Bros argue. But then the Bucks block the double superkicks to give DOUBLE SUPERKICKS!
Fans are thunderous for “A E DUB!” but Pac rushes in! The Bucks dodges, Omega is there to show punch! Pac backs off, but turns around into DOUBLE SUPERKICKS! Fans are thunderous again as Death Triangle is down! Omega tags in and he storms up on Pac. Pac bails out and fans boo. The Bastard wants nothing to do with the Cleaner, so he goes to Penta. Omega drags Penta up, but Penta CHOPS! Penta runs in at the corner, Matt tags in as Omega goes up and over. Nick runs in but is put on the apron. Matt runs in, but he’s put on the apron. Omega runs in but Penta dodges! Penta runs in but Omega dodges, and Penta gets DOUBLE GAMANGIRI!
Omega RANAS Penta! Fenix runs in to SOBAT! But the Bucks get in and Matt kicks Fenix low. Nick runs, Matt gives him the alley-oop and Nick RANAS Fenix away! Pac returns but Omega CLOBBERS him! Matt WRECKS Pac, holds the ropes down, and Nick FLIES to take Pac out! Nick waves hi and even gets a drink from the fans. Matt tags Omega, he drags Penta up, and fireman’s carries. “You! Can’t! Escape!” But Pac dropkicks Omega’s leg out! Pac stomps Omega, backs away, and Penta tags Pac in. Pac stomps Omega down, stomps him around, then he bumps Omega off buckles. Tag to Penta but Fenix gets in, too.
Pac snapmares Omega, then he KICKS Omega! Penta KICKS, Fenix KICKS, then “Se… no!” TRIPLE BASEMENT DROPKICKS! Penta covers, TWO! Penta drags Omega up but we get a glimpse of Pac’s bloody nose. Penta CHOPS Omega, then he tags in Pac. Penta & Pac mug Omega, then Pac scoops and SLAMS Omega. Pac goes to the corner and climbs while Omega stands. Omega hurries to get under the leap, and he runs to SLAM DUNK Pac’s head! Tag to Matt, Fenix leaps in! Into a NORTHERN LIGHTS! The Polar Express gets going! Penta runs in, Matt DOUBLE NORTHERN LIGHTS the Lucha Brothers!
Fans fire up and Matt throws hands on Penta. Matt whips Penta to a corner, Fenix gives him a boost then tags Penta back in. Fenix somersaults and wheelbarrows to victory roll Matt into place! Penta is up top, QUE PASO! Cover, TWO!! Matt survives his bucks getting stomped! But Penta KICKS Matt’s leg! Matt hobbles, but he DECKS Pac just because. Matt elbows Penta, DECKS Fenix, then BOOTS Penta. Matt goes up to missile dropkick! Penta tags Pac and he keeps Matt from The Elite! Pac BOOTS Omega just because! Pac storms up on Matt but is put on the apron! Fenix tags in and keeps Matt from Nick!
Fenix CHOPS Matt in the corner, then runs, but Nick ROCKS Fenix first! Matt wheelbarrows, “See you in hell!” VICTORY FACEBUSTER! Fans fire up while both men are down! Both men crawl, hot tags to Pac and Nick! Nick CLOBBERS Pac again and again, then runs in at the corner to SHINING WIZARD! GAMANGIRI! ROUNDHOUSE! BULLDOG! Penta rushes in, but Nick knuckle locks him to CHOP! Nick hurdles Fenix, goes up and up and “LUCHA LIBRE~!” FLYING ARM-DRAG RANA COMBO! The Lucha Brothers bail out, Pac backs up seeing Nick show punch! Omega offers his hand and fans fire up as Nick tags him in!
Omega throws haymakers on Pac, but Pac SOBATS! Pac pie faces Omega but Omega BOOTS Pac down! Penta runs in, but into a SNAP DRAGON! Pac staggers up, into a SNAP DRAGON! Death Triangle regroups at ramp side but the Terminator drums start. Omega builds speed to FLY! Direct hit, down goes Penta & Pac! Omega lands on his feet to take a little jog up the ramp. Omega drags Pac up and Nick is in the ring. Nick builds speed but Fenix catches him to knuckle lock and CHOP! Fenix goes up and up but Nick trips him up! Matt runs in to triangle jump APRON DDT!! Penta GAMANGIRIS Nick! Penta goes up top but Nick CLUBS him!
“This is Awesome!” as Nick CLUBS Penta again. Nick goes right up, brings Penta up with him, and SUPER STEINERS Penta onto everyone else!! Even Nakazawa was part of that crash landing and fans lose their minds! Fans hope these trios “FIGHT FOREVER!” but it has to end somehow. Omega puts Pac in the ring, he drags Pac up, and he reels Pac in to fisherman. AOI SHOUDO!! Cover, TWO!! Pac survives but Omega keeps his cool. Omega rises while Pac goes to the ropes. Omega aims his finger gun and says BANG! Omega runs but Pac sidesteps to SNAP GERMAN! Pac huffs and puffs through is bloody nose to SOBAT! And KICK! And SOBAT again!
Pac runs, but the Bucks get in to double hip toss Pac at the ropes! They send Pac onto Omega’s shoulders, then Matt gives Nick a boost! But Penta intercepts to catch Nick! And Fenix grabs Matt! The Lucha Brothers gut wrench the Bucks, and Pac flips things around on Omega! DEATH TRIANGLE OF TOMBSTONES!!! The Lucha Brothers put Omega in a drop zone and then they both climb the corner. Penta gives Fenix a boost, SUPER FALLING SPLASH!! Then Penta jumps off Fenix to hit Matt with a DESTROYER! Fenix somersaults at Nick for the CUTTER! Pac sets up top and aims at Omega! BLACK ARROW!!! INTO THE BRUTALIZER!!!
Omega endures, he reaches out with a foot, but Nick CLOBBERS Pac! The Lucha Bros send the Bucks out, then “CERO! MIEDO!” The Lucha Brothers DOUBLE TOPE CONJILO! Direct hit on both Bucks and fans fire up again! Pac crawls, Fenix hurries over and tags in! Fenix runs to JUMP SOBAT Omega! Then he snapmares Omega, goes up and up and FLYING ARM-DRAGS, into DOUBLE STOMPS! Fenix says, “ANIMO!” Pac tells Fenix to use the hammer!! He throws Fenix the bell hammer while Penta distracts the ref! Fenix is conflicted, but he throws it back! He says they’re doing fine without the hammer!
But then Fenix turns around into a V-TRIGGER! Omega hits a TIGER DRIVER 98!! Cover, TWO!?! Fenix survives but Matt RAMS Pac into railing! Fenix flounders, Omega takes aim again. BANG, and Omega runs, but Penta gets in to SLINGBLADE! Matt is in, SLINGBLADE! Nick gets in, SLINGBLADE! Penta fires up and so do the fans! Penta shouts, ‘CERO! MIEDO!” He runs, but into TRIPLE SUPERKICKS! Fenix staggers up, Nick hits a POISON-RANA! Matt whips Fenix to Omega for the POP-UP BOMB! Then the DOUBLE SUPERKICK V-TRIGGER COMBO! Cover, Pac breaks it in time!!
Pac tosses Matt, he tosses Nick, then gets the hammer! Pac aims at Omega, Penta distracts the ref, but Nick SUPERKICKS Pac! Nick then goes up and up and SUPER TWISTERS Pac down! Matt goes up to ARIHARA MOONSAULT onto Penta! Omega aims at Fenix, V-TRIGGER!! But Pac sneaks Fenix the hammer! Fenix shakes his head no but Omega Electric Chair Lifts! Fenix says screw it, and HAMMERS Omega in the head!!! Victory roll, DEATH TRIANGLE WINS!!!

Britt and Saraya tie up again, Saraya headlocks now, and she grinds Britt down. Britt pulls hair, throws body shots, but Saraya thrashes the hold. Jericho says you call it dissention but he calls it competitiveness. That is why Sammy Guevara has been by Jericho’s side these last three years, and why Jericho asked Sammy to be in that match. Jericho appreciates what Sammy did, and says Sammy is a future world champion, just not tonight. Because Jericho is still The Ocho, the Greatest ROH World Champion of all time.
But then Orange Cassidy walks in! “Speaking of ROH champions, I have a very good friend who happens to be a former ROH champion. And he has earned a title shot. My very good friend, Tomohiro Ishii, he wants to fight you for that this Wednesday on Dynamite.” Jericho says first of all, Cassidy still owes him $7000 for his jacket. Second of all, to Ishii, all Jericho ever hears is how great a pro-wrestler Ishii is. But do y’know what Jericho thinks? He thinks of the Young Boy who was hanging around when Jericho was main-eventing in Wrestling Association R. Jericho thinks of when Ishii used to get Jericho coffee and carry his luggage!
“Ishii, you want a chance at The Ocho? When I think of you, I still think of that little Young Boy. On Wednesday, on Dynamite, you wanna shot? You got it! Your senpai is waiting for you, BAKA!” Jericho heads out, but will he regret treating the Stone Pitbull like he’s a puppy? The lights go down, and when they come back, a spotlight is on a body bag on stage. Lethal has the fake Stings go with him to the ramp, but then Darby’s music hits. Lethal still steps closer, but then smoke blasts from the stage! And Darby runs in! He fires off on Lethal and the fake Stings with his skateboard! Fans fire up while Jarrett freaks out! But behind him is the REAL STIIIIING! Darby CLOBBERS Lethal, Jarrett dares Darby to do that to him.
Darby tells Jarrett to turn around, and even Sonjay is shouting! Jarrett tells Sonjay to calm down and he glances back. Jarrett tells Sting to shoo, then he realizes it’s STIIIIING! Jarrett wants him to hold on, but the bell rings! Sting storms up to Jarrett and fans chant “T N A!” Sting howls, and he swings hands! Sting kicks, ROCKS, repeat! Darby adds on, they pinball Jarrett around! Lethal returns to CLUB Sting! Lethal whips but Sting reverses, and Lethal tumbles up and out of the ring! Darby is on the apron and he FLYING SHOULDER TACKLES Jarrett! Lethal goes up but Sting TOSSES him off to hit the apron!
Darby goes after Jarrett among the fans and hits him with a trash can! Sting smacks Lethal off railing and then dumps him over! Fans fire up as the action comes closer to them! Satnam & Sonjay leave Darby behind to hurry after Sting and Lethal. They brawl in the upper parts of the crowd, and then brawl their way down the stairs. Lethal ends up ringside, Sting throws hands and knocks him off the railing! But Satnam catches Lethal! But Sting LEAPS and wipes Satnam out! Fans are thunderous as the Icon risks life and limb! Jarrett meanwhile drags Darby up to RAM into the ring apron! Sting howls, he brings Lethal up and brings him towards ringside. Jarrett sends Darby into steel steps, and then SMACKS him with a chair! Sting pushes Lethal over the railing while Jarrett pushes Darby into th ering.
Jarrett stomps Darby around, has him in the corner, and whips corner to corner hard! Darby bounces off buckles, and Jarrett whips him corner to corner the other way! Jarrett then puts Darby on the ropes to run and STRADDLE ATTACK! Jarrett struts to mock the Nature Boy! Then he LARIATS Darby down! Tag to Lethal, though does it really matter? Lethal drags Darby up, and he hooks Darby up in a cobra twist. Darby endures, reaches out, then powers out to hip toss Lethal down But Lethal holds onto the arm to whip Darby away. The introductions are made, the belt is raised, and interim or not, we see who is the top champion in the AEW Women’s Division!
The bell rings and Hayter’s got a lot of fans on her side. Storm shrugs that off as she and Hayter approach. They tie up, go around, break, and reset. They tie up again, go around more, and end up in a corner. Then they go out and around again, and Storm headlocks. Fans duel as Hayter fights through to get the headlock herself. Storm fights up, brings Hayter to a knee and pops out the back. Storm has the arm, hammerlocks it, but Hayter reaches back and squats to reach out for ropes. Storm stands back up to keep Hayter away, but Hayter switches and headlocks for the takeover! Hayter grinds Storm down while fans fire up.
Storm keeps her shoulders off the mat, and she headscissors. Hayter powers out while still holding the headlock. Storm fights up again, fans duel, and Storm switches the headlock back on Hayter. Hayter powers up to power out, but Storm runs her over. Things speed up, Storm stops the back drop to reel Hayter in! Hayter powers out to avoid any bombs, and she CLUBS Storm! Hayter wristlocks and ripcords, but Storm ducks the Hate Maker in time! Fans cheer as the two stand off! The two cool off and approach. Hayter flexes, but Storm says kiss this! Hayter kicks low, whips Storm to ropes, but Storm SHOTGUNS Hayter out of the ring!
Storm keeps moving, she HIP ATTACKS Hayter to the floor! Fans fire up as Storm goes out to fetch Hayter. Storm bumps Hayter off the apron, whips her into the railing, and fans rally up. The ref wants this back in the ring, but Storm CLUBS Hayter down. Storm stomps Hayter against railing, then CLUBS her on the back. Storm smacks Hayter off the apron, refreshes the ring count, then stalks Hayter around the way. Hayter throws body shots, then she runs with Storm to THROW her into railing! Fans fire up more and Hayter leaves Storm behind. Hayter goes into the ring, but just long enough to refresh the count.
Hayter drags Storm up, scoops, but Storm slips off to POST Hayter! Hater falls over but Storm drags her up to POST again! Fans duel, Storm storms up to Hater and puts her against a post. Storm CHOPS Hayter, CHOPS again, then CHOPS just POST! Storm clutches her hand but Hayter RAMS her into railing! And RAMS her into more railing! And again and again! Hayter refreshes the count again, but Storm manages to get herself in the ring. Hayter adjusts her ponytail and fans fire up. Hayter hauls Storm up, SNAP JACKHAMMERS, and covers, ONE!! Storm hangs tough but Hayter hauls her up, SNAP HAMMER again! Cover, TWO!
Hayter is annoyed as Storm crawls away to a corner. Hayter storms over and digs her boots in! Hayter stands on Storm and fans fire up. The ref counts, Hayter digs into Storm’s face, then lets off. Hayter pretends she can’t hear the ref, and she goes back to Storm. Storm CHOPS! Hayter CHOPS, CHOPS, CHOPS in return! Hayter drags Storm up, whips her to ropes, then runs her over! Hayter kneels for the cover, TWO! Hayter shakes her head, pie faces Storm around, then dribbles her off the mat. Hayter watches Storm go to ropes, and then she CHOKES her! The ref counts, Hayter scuffs Storm as she lets off.
Hayter snapmares Storm, wraps on a chinlock, and she squeezes tight. Fans rally as Storm endures and Hayter leans on the hold. Storm fights up, throws elbows, but Hayter throws Storm by her hair! The ref reprimands, but Hayter messes with the ref’s hair! The ref warns Hayter, you don’t disrespect the referee! Hayter “apologizes” then stands on Storm. Hayter shakes the ref’s hand but Storm pushes Hayter away. Hayter CLUBS Storm, Storm throws hands, so Hayter CLUBS her more! Storm gets up, the forearms start flying back and forth! Hayter gets the edge, whips, but Storm reverses. Hayter ducks but runs into a THESZ PRESS!
Storm rains down fast hands but Hayter pushes her away. Hayter flounders to a corner but Storm goes to the opposite. Storm again says kiss this, and she runs in for SWEET CHEEKS MUSIC! Storm then pushes Hayter out and climbs up the corner! CROSSBODY! Cover, TWO! Storm is frustrated but she hauls Hayter up. Hayter wrenches out to fireman’s carry, but Storm slips free. Hayter runs in but into a spin and TORNADO DDT! Cover, TWO! Hayter hangs tough but Storm watches her closely. Fans rally up and Storm sees Hayter get to ropes. Storm whips but Hayter blocks! Storm kicks low, whips, but Hayter reverses to forearm!
Storm forearms, Hayter forearms, repeat! Hayter gets the edge, throwing shot after shot! Storm HEADBUTTS Hayter down! Storm falls on the cover, TWO!! Both women are down and the fans are thunderous! A standing count starts, both women stir at 3 of 10, and then Rebel appears! She sneaks to the ring as Storm and Hayter start throwing forearms. They stand, keep throwing shots, and then Hayter BOOTS! Storm SLAPS Hayter, Hayter BOOTS Storm! Storm SLAPS but Hayter fires off a flurry of forearms! Storm’s nose is bleeding, but she still follows Hayter to ROCK her at the ropes! Storm runs but Hayter follows to ELBOW!
Hayter runs, Storm follows, to FOREARM! Storm pie faces, runs, but Hayter KNEES low! Hayter HAMMERS Storm down, fans fire up, but the ref reprimands and counts. Hayter lets off at 4 and argues with the ref, Rebel BELT SHOTS Storm!! Hayter fireman’s carries for an USHIGOROSHI, to a SLIDING LARIAT!! Cover, TWO!?!? Storm survives and Rebel is furious! But she’s still holding the evidence! The ref sees that and Rebel panics. Rebel hops down, but the ref EJECTS her! Hayter can’t believe Rebel screwed up like that. But she still drags Storm up to ripcord and- NO, Storm ducks the Hate Maker to steal the HATE MAKER!! Cover, TWO!!
Hayter survives and Storm is furious! Storm drags Hayter around by her legs but Hayter scrambles away to the ROPEBREAK! Storm lets off to run, but Hayter moves! Storm tumbles out to the floor! Hayter distracts the ref again, CURB STOMP onto the belt from Britt!! The Doctor gets away with a drive-by and she puts Storm in!! Hayter hauls Storm up, to steal STORM ZERO!! Cover, TWO!??!? Storm survives a second screw job and no one can believe it! Britt coaches Hayter and she fires up! Fans fire up with her and she drags Storm back up! Ripcord, HATE- NO, Storm gets around to SNAP GERMAN! And then STORM ZERO!!! Cover, TWO!?!??
Storm can’t believe it but Hayter survives! Storm gets the legs, ties them up, but Britt is on the apron! Storm DECKS Britt! But Hayter hits Storm with an IRISH CURSE BACKBREAKER!! Cover, TWO!!!?! Storm survives again and Hayter is at a loss for words! But “This is Awesome!” as Storm flounders to a corner. Hayter grits her teeth, fans fire up and she runs in, BIG lariat in the corner! Hayter fires off elbow after elbow, and Britt is untying a buckle in the corner!? Hayter whips but Storm reverses, and Hayter runs into Britt! Britt takes a tumble, Storm reels Hayter in! Storm ripcords, but Hayter gets around and rams Storm into the bare buckle!
Storm staggers into the HATE MAKER!!! Cover, HAYTER WINS!!!

Sneaky Swerve is so bitter, we all know your team’s gonna die like Twitter! Y’all need to find a job. How we gonna fight the Black Jay & Silent Bob? You’re not the top team in the country. We gotta fact check y’all like a Trump speech!” Wait, there’s more! Does Jersey want more? “YEAH~!” Okay, then y’all need to stop and think. “Swerve looks like Randall from Monsters Inc! Caster hammers away on Swerve in the corner, then he stomps a mudhole in. Bowens spins again, but Keith swats this rolling elbow away! Keith then reels Bowens in to POP-UP, but Caster helps Bowens RANA Keith away! The Acclaimed then DOUBLE LARIAT Keith outta the ring!
Keith hits hard off the apron and he staggers away. Swerve rushes in but Caster dodges and hurdles to arm-drag! And DROPKICK! Caster scoops Swerve to SLAM him! Caster gets the fans fired up for Bowens and he tags Bowens in. Bowens goes up top and Caster holds Swerve’s legs open, SCISSOR ME TIMBERS! Swerve flounders away but Bowens stalks up behind him. Bowens CHOPS Swerve, stomps him in the corner, but lets off as the ref counts 4. Fans sing “OH~ Scissor Me Daddy~!” then they chant, “We Want Daddy!” Bowens storms up on Swerve but Swerve throws a body shot. Bowens knees low and he CLUBS away!
Bowens swings but Swerve dodges! Swerve hammerlocks Bowens’ bad arm, then whips Bowens into the corner! Bowens hits buckles hard, and Swerve DROPKICKS Bowens down! Tag to Keith and Keith drags Bowens up. Keith hammerlocks and scoops to SLAM Bowens on his bad arm! Swerve BOOTS Caster for good measure, but then Keith disapproves of Swerve going out after Caster. Swerve RAMS Caster into railing, then drags him up to RAM into more railing! Caster is down in a heap and fans boo. Swerve tells people to move as he undoes the railings. Swerve then goes to the tech area and finds some spare barricades!
Swerve brings that section of barricade to ringside and sets it against the apron like a ramp. Keith says to stop that, but Bowens SUPERKICKS Keith! And KICKS, CHOPS and CHOPS! Keith snarls, Bowens CHOPS, but Keith GRIZZLY MAGNUMS Bowens down! Keith hauls Bowens up, and whips him into the ropes, bad arm first! Swerve drags Bowens out to CLUB away on him! Swerve then reels Bowens in, but Bowens blocks the suplex! Bowens snap suplexes Swerve to the floor! Both men writhe and fans fire up! A ring count starts on Bowens while he writhes and clutches his bad arm.
Bowens sits up at 3 of 10, fans rally up, and Bowens crawls to the ring at 6. Bowens drags himself up and in at 7 while Keith tells Swerve that’s what happens when he bends the rules. Keith turns around and Bowens throws body shots! But Keith KNEES Bowens, then knuckle locks for a BIG Straight Arm Lever! Bowens endures as gravity affects his bad shoulder, and then Keith drops him to run him over! Keith SLAMS the bad arm, then SPLASHES it! Keith keeps Bowens from getting away and covers, TWO! Keith drags Bowens up while fans rally. Bowens throws more body shots, and then he JABS! And JABS! Keith HEADBUTTS Bowens down!
Keith hauls Bowens up, wrenches, but fans rally up. Bowens throws more body shots but Keith CLUBS away on the bad arm. Keith keeps Bowens from Caster, bumps him off buckles, and he tags Swerve. Swerve ROCKS Bowens, snapmares, then hooks up the bad arm. Swerve traps Bowens’ arm by putting the hand down the tights! Swerve then runs to basement BOOT Bowens down! Bowens clutches the arm but Swerve tags Keith back in. Keith & Swerve drag Bowens up, Electric Chair Lift but Caster CLOBBERS Swerve! Bowens throws hands, CHOPS Keith, then POISON-RANAS!! Keith sits up in a daze, but he flops back over!
Fans are thunderous as Bowens and Keith crawl for their corners, hot tags to Swerve and Caster! Caster rallies on Swerve, ROCKS Keith, then back drops Swerve! Caster clotheslines Swerve out of the ring, then he CHOPS and SUPERKICKS Keith! Caster PLANCHAS to wipe out Swerve! Fans fire up and Caster hurries in after Keith. But Caster can’t fireman’s carry Keith, and Keith CLUBS Caster in the ribs! And again! Keith whips Caster to a corner, runs in but into a BOOT! Caster goes up, leaps, and FLYING RANAS! Keith staggers to a corner, Caster runs in, but Keith puts him on the top rope! Keith throws a body shot, then a GRIZZLY MAGNUM!
Caster winces from the stinging in his chest, and Keith adjusts. Keith ROCKS Caster, climbs up the corner, but Caster throws body shots from all sides! Caster shoves Keith down! Caster adjusts and leaps, FLYING FAMOUSER! Shoutout to Daddy Ass! But Swerve runs in, only to get a DEATH VALLEY BOMB! Cover, TWO!! Tag to Bowens and Bowens runs to SHINING WIZARD Swerve into a wheelbarrow from Caster! The Acclaimed coordinate, WHEELBARROW CUTTER! Cover, TWO!! Swerve is still in this and Bowens is frustrated. Bowens pounds the mat and fans rally up as Swerve crawls to ropes.
Bowens has Swerve in the clinch, but the bad arm won’t let him lift! Swerve RAMS Bowens into Caster! And then the roll-up, TWO! Bowens and Swerve go to ropes, Swerve runs in but is put on the apron. Bowens runs and SHOTGUNS Swerve, but Keith keeps him from falling on the railing ramp! Keith pushes Swerve to safety, but Bowens GAMANGIRIS Keith! Caster goes up top, he CROSSBODIES Keith onto the railing!! The railing BENDS from the impact!! Fans lose their minds as the ref checks Keith and Caster! Bowens KICKS Swerve in the ropes, brings him out, DRAPING SIDEWINDER! Cover, TWO!!!
Swerve survives but it’s just him and Bowens while Caster clutches a leg and Keith is just down in the wreckage. Bowens runs to leap frog, but Swerve ducks it! Roll up, roll through, COMPLETE SHOT! Bowens is dazed and Swerve is seething. “Whose house?” “SWERVE’S HOUSE!” HOUSE CALL!! Cover, TWO!?!? Swerve is furious that Bowens survives! Swerve aims from the corner as Bowens sits back up. Swerve wants Bowens to see him this time, HOUSE CALL!! And then ANOTHER HOUSE CALL!!! Fans boo Swerve, but Bowens rises up again!? Bowens shouts at Swerve that he can’t stop him!
Swerve drags Bowens up with a fishhook, and then he wants the cameras to see this one. POINT-BLANK HOUSE CALL!!! Cover, TWO?!?! Swerve can’t believe Bowens survives a fourth shot! But Swerve drags Bowens to a drop zone, goes up top, but Bowens crawls over to the corner! Swerve CLUBS and BOOTS Bowens away, adjusts, and KILL- NO, Bowens avoids the stomps, to clinch and hit the ARRIVAL!! Tag to Caster and he’s up top! MIC DROP!!! Cover, Keith breaks it in time!! Caster is furious and he stomps Keith out of the ring. Caster calls to Bowens, they get Swerve up, and they coordinate, but the bad arm holds back Magic Killer!
Swerve KICKS Bowens away and suplexes Caster for a BRAINBUSTER!! Swerve crawls, he tags in Keith! Keith runs in to CLOBBER Caster! And again! Caster goes to a corner, Keith SPLASHES! Keith TOSSES Caster across the way! Bowens stands, Keith runs in to POUNCE him!! Fans boo as Keith hoists Caster up and Swerve goes up top! FALL FROM GLORY!!!! Cover, TWO!??!?! HOW?!?! No one can believe it but the fans are loving it!! Keith and Swerve try again, tag to Swerve. Pop-up, but Caster fights the bomb! He manages to tag Bowens! But Keith kicks Bowens, and SWINGS Cater into him! And then BOMBS Caster onto Bowens!
The Acclaimed both flop out of the ring, Swerve hurries over to TOSS Caster into the timekeeper’s area! Swerve grabs PLIERS!? He grabs Caster, too! Swerve drags Caster by his hand, but HERE COMES DADDY!! Billy won’t let Swerve break anymore fingers! But Swerve BOOTS Billy! The refs keep Billy away but fans are thunderous! Swerve hurries to bring Bowens up and into the ring. Swerve wants Keith to use the pliers!? Fans chant “NO! NO! NO!” but Keith throws the pliers away! Fans fire up as Keith takes a stand against Swerve! Swerve SLAPS Keith! Keith glares at Swerve as Swerve tells him this is about winning the belts!
As furious as he is at Swerve, Keith drags Bowens up instead. Keith pats Bowens on the back, and leaves the ring!! Swerve can’t believe Keith is giving up on the team, but Bowens rolls Swerve up! TWO!!! Bowens ELBOWS, JABS, CHOPS and SUPERKICKS! Bowens fires up, but swings into a wheelbarrow! But Bowens victory rolls it! TWO, tag to Caster! O’Conner Roll but it doesn’t count now! MISSILE DROPKICK! Caster shouts to Bowens and tags him back in! The Acclaimed get Swerve up, Bowens powers through the pain to stay up, and the Acclaimed an INVERTED POWERBOMB!! We saw this feud once before, back in 2020 and the pandemic empty arena era. But both men have changed quite a bit since then, and now the Maniac isn’t just facing the Salt of the Earth, he’s facing the Devil of AEW! Will Moxley prove Maxwell is NOT better than him? Or will MJF shock the world by doing this all on his own?

The bell rings and the two men step to each other. Moxley ROCKS MJF right away! MJF smirks and fans rally up. MJF comes back to get in Moxley’s face, and Moxley puts his hands back, daring him to respond. MJF SLAPS Moxley! MJF asks what Mox is gonna do about it, so Mox ROCKS him again! Then CHOPS and CHOPS and CHOPS! Moxley grinds MJF’s face on the ropes! Moxley CHOPS again, then BITES MJF’s forehead! The ref reprimands, Moxley DIGS his chin and scruffy beard into the forehead, but Moxley lets off as the ref counts. MJF kicks low and headlocks back. Moxley powers out but MJF ducks ‘n’ dodges, then fakes Moxley out to strut!
Fans fire up and MJF tells Moxley to kiss this. Moxley runs in, but MJF dumps him out! MJF builds speed, but then he keeps running back and forth, to then raise his hands. Fans cheer and MJF soaks it up, but Moxley gets in to CHOKE MJF into the corner! Moxley climbs up, BITES MJF again, then lets off at 4. Moxley flips off the fans, and he soaks up the boos that come back at him. But he turns around and MJF YANKS Moxley into buckles! MJF stomps a mudhole in and the ref counts again. MJF stops at 4 and “apologizes” to the ref. But then Moxley CLOBBERS him! Moxley lounges but fans tell him off.
Moxley stalks MJF to ropes, gives him crossface forearms from all sides, all the way until the ref counts 4. Moxley then kicks the rope to jam MJF’s face! MJF sputters, Moxley drags him up and X-PLEXES! MJF writhes but Moxley pushes him over to cover, ONE!! Moxley clamps onto the leg! Moxley pulls MJF’s hair and clamps on the STF! MJF endures, reaches out, but then he BITES Moxley’s hand! The ref counts, Moxley CLUBS MJF, and MJF lets off the hand. But then MFJ CHOPS and forearms and forearm sand forearms! But Moxley RAMS MJF into the corner, DECKS him, then CHOPS him while he’s sitting down!
Moxley drags MJF up, reels him in again, and hits a FALCON ARROW, into an ARMBAR! MJF clasps hands, rolls it to a cover, TWO! Moxley keeps on the arm, he bends the fingers, and he uses his foot to break the grip! MJF flails to the ROPEBREAK! Moxley lets off and MJF goes to a corner. Moxley paces while fans boo, and Moxley runs in to clothesline in the corner! MJF flops down and fans boo more, but Moxley looms over MJF. MJF flips Moxley off, so Moxley bends the finger! Moxley stands MJF up to clothesline in the corner! MJF bails out, Moxley goes out the side, and Moxley grabs the belt. Moxley holds it up to rub it in the fans’ faces.
The ref reprimands Mox and confiscates the belt, but MJF SPITS MIST into Moxley’s eyes! Was it just water or something worse?! Either way, MJF fires off haymakers! Moxley hits back and he whips MJF into steel steps! Fans boo as Moxley paces around. Moxley gets in the ring and says it’s done. The ring count starts and Moxley lets it climb. MJF sits up at 5 of 10, crawls over to the ring, and slides in at 6. Moxley watches MJF slowly rise, and he fires off forearms in the corner! Moxley whips corner to corner hard, but MJF comes back to LARIAT! Both men are down and fans fire up again!
The standing count starts, Moxley and MJF slowly sit up, and Moxley stands at 4 of 10. MJF snarls and pounds the mat and fans rally. MJF stands at 5, both men storm up to each other, and MJF hits an atomic drop! Moxley swings but MJF ducks to CLAW Moxley’s back! Moxley winds up but MJF stomps Moxley’s foot! MJF JABS, JABS, JABS, over and over and over, then he DECKS Moxley! Fans fire up but Moxley staggers up. MJF bumps Moxley off buckles again and again and again, then puts some stank on the TENTH! Fans fire up with MJF as he goes to the far corner. MJF runs back in, but Moxley dodges!
Moxley kicks low but MJF fights the underhooks! MJF wrenches and WRINGS Moxley into buckles! Cover, TWO! MJF snarls and shouts and fans fire up again. MJF goes out and goes to the timekeeper’s area, and he grabs the belt. MJF gives it a kiss, sets it aside, and he brings the timekeeper’s table to ringside! MJF pounds the table and fans rally up again. MJF goes into the ring, but Moxley springs up to hit a CUTTER! Fans boo as Moxley swaggers around. Moxley drags MJF by double wristlocks, for DRAGON STOMPS! Fans boo more but Moxley says, “You want some more?” MJF kicks back from below but Moxley just stomps away even more!
MJF flounders away while Moxley takes a bow. Fans boo more but Moxley goes to MJF on the apron. Moxley aims finger guns at MJF, drags him up, and the table is nearby. MJF is dead weight but Moxley forces him to stand up. Moxley reels MJF in, but MJF fights free of the piledriver to throat chop! MJF scoops Moxley, for an APRON TOMBSTONE!! But MJF clutches his knee! MJF curses at the pain in his leg, but he crawls to cover, TWO!!! Moxley survives, but MJF says a bad knee won’t stop him! “This is MY time!” MJF fights through the pain and fans are thunderous for him as he goes back to the apron.
MJF hauls Moxley back up, but Moxley fights the lift. Moxley kicks the bad leg, reels MJF in, and he PILEDRIVERS through the table!!! Fans lose their minds as both men wipe out to the floor! The ref checks on both men while they’re down in the wreckage. Moxley sits up, drags himself into the ring, and the ring count begins. MJF is still down in the debris at 4 of 10. MJF stirs, crawls at 6, Moxley says this is it! MJF grabs at the apron at 8, and springs to life at 9.99!! MJF storms up on Moxley, into a PARADIGM SHIFT!! Cover, TWO!!! But Moxley has the bad leg to KICK away on it!
Fans boo as Moxley steps through, to FIGURE FOUR LEGLOCK!! MJF endures, his shoulders are down, TWO as MJF sits back up! Moxley twists the foot, pushes up to put more torque on the leg, and MJF’s shoulders are down again! TWO!! MJF tells the ref to shut up and stop asking! MJF works to turn things over, but Moxley fights it off! Fans rally and MJF pushes through, but Moxley puts it back down! MJF beats his chest to get his heart pumping, and he TURNS IT OVER!! Now Moxley endures, and he gets the ROPEBREAK! The hold is undone and Moxley goes to the apron. MJF manages to stand and he hobbles over that way.
MJF HOTSHOTS Moxley, then reels him in for a HEATSEEKER!! Cover, TWO!! Moxley survives and MJF is fuming. MJF beats his bad leg into working as the fans rally up again. MJF drags Moxley up, puts him back through ropes, but Moxley shoves him away! MJF lands on the bad knee! Moxley rushes in to CHOP BLOCK!! Fans boo but Moxley gets the bad leg. Moxley puts the leg on the rope to HIP DROP the knee! MJF begs Moxley not to, but Moxley HIP DROPS it again! Moxley stomps MJF to keep him down, he ignores the fans telling him off, and he climbs up top. But MJF trips Moxley up by hitting the ropes!
Fans cheer as MJF hops up the corner. MJF drags Moxley onto his shoulder, but Moxley fights that with fishhooks! Moxley throws down HAMMER ‘N’ ANVIL ELBOWS! Fans boo as Moxley makes MJF a ragdoll! Moxley then turns MJF around, hooks him up, and hits a SUPER DEATH RIDER!!!! Moxley crawls to the cover, ROPEBREAK!!!! MJF survives by a fingertip! Moxley grabs that arm, but MJF grabs the ropes with his other arm! Moxley lets off MJF reluctantly, and fans chant, “NEW CHAMP! NEW CHAMP!” Moxley gets up and dares MJF to stand. MJF doesn’t move so Moxley says, “C’mon, bitch.”
Moxley drags MJF but MJF is dead weight. Moxley shoves MJF down and tells off the fans. MJF crawls, Moxley drags him up, and Moxley eggs MJF on. Mox wants MJF to give him his best shot, so MJF SPITS at him! Moxley SLAPS MJF down! MJF is dazed and Moxley storms around. Moxley stands MJF up, and MJF throws a forearm! Moxley says that’s more like it, and he throws a forearm back! MJF forearms, Moxley forearms, repeat! They go faster and faster, but then Moxley kicks the bad leg! Moxley fires off forearm after forearm, then runs, but MJF yanks the ref in the way! Moxley and the ref collide and fall down!
Fans fire up as MJF smirks! MJF reaches down his tights, and he has the Dynamite Diamond Ring! But MJF did say he wasn’t going to use it. Was that a lie? Wait, Regal storms down to ringside! Regal tells MJF to not even think about it! Put the ring down or Regal will get in! MJF throws the ring down! And he flips Regal off! Fans cheer, but MJF walks into Moxley’s SLEEPER!! MJF runs up the corner to push this back! Cover, the spare ref counts it, TWO!! Moxley shoots around, SLEEPER!! But MJF RAMS Moxley into the spare ref!! Two refs down!! Regal can’t believe this, but he tells Moxley to get up.
MJF kicks Moxley in the leg, but Moxley shoots around! SLEEPER! And then takedown into the BULLY CHOKE! MJF is tapping, but there’s no ref to count it!! Regal shouts at Moxley to get one of the refs! Bryce is coming to, Moxley hurries that way, but Regal slides the brass knuckles to MJF?!?! WHAT?!? Fans are thunderous as MJF has the knuckles on! BRASS KNUCKLE SHOT to Moxley!!! MJF hides the knuckle dusters down his trunks, and the ref has no idea what happened!! MJF crawls to a cover, MJF WINS!!!
Winner: MJF, by pinfall (NEW AEW World Champion)
Well, to play Devil’s Advocate, MJF promised he wasn’t going to use his diamond ring. Instead, he uses the Gentleman Villain’s trademark brass knuckles!! And now, MJF has #PrettyPlatinum all to himself! And Jersey embraces it, because they’re all “Devil Worshippers!” Just as a fan sign says, the MJF Era begins tonight! What will this mean for AEW from here on out?
My Thoughts:
What an awesome Full Gear! It still has the usual AEW PPV con of just being so stuffed full, but the usual AEW PPV pro shines through: this was all great stuff. The Zero Hour was great, from Best Friends giving us Danhausen’s dark side to Eddie Kingston coming out on top in his dream match with Jun Akiyama. And of course, Starks wins against Brian Cage to then go on to the finals. The Steel Cage made a great opener, especially with AEW’s rule of escape not being a win. That makes it a hybrid of cage and Hell in a Cell, and what a great win for Jungle Boy. The only thing left would be him taking Christian Cage on, but given Christian’s arm is still in a sling, we may have to wait a long time for that. Maybe JB gets in on a singles title in the meantime.
The Trios Championship match was awesome, and was a great return for The Elite. But what a great surprise that Death Triangle sticks together by going more Heel with that sneaky hammer shot. The Best of Seven was a wild decision, too, but who would say no to six more matches as good as this one? Well, I probably would’ve gone with Best of Five, but this does help push things towards the New Year. And then whoever comes out as THE Trios Champions, they can get going on a great title feud towards Revolution in 2023. As it stands, I think The Elite win out in the end, or else why both with even a Best of Three?
Great TBS Championship match, and great Cheetara cosplay from Jade. Jade winning makes sense, too, she’s definitely getting to 50-0 before ever losing. The ROH World title Fatal 4 went as expected, where we saw Bryan and Claudio throw down despite being teammates, and getting to see Sammy have it out with Jericho, all for Jericho to win in the end. Jericho’s promo after makes it seem he’s okay with Sammy, but I can’t wait to see Sammy’s response. Also, awesome that we’re getting Jericho VS Ishii and Hager VS Cassidy on Wednesday for some big singles title matches. I would think the champions each retain, as both are on great runs.
Saraya winning was expected, but she did Britt a favor by hitting her with multiple finishers to make a point of Britt’s toughness. Britt and Rebel both helping Hayter out was also expected, but I did not think Hayter would win in the end. That is great for Hayter, but it makes me wonder where things are going with the “Interim” title then. Will they just drop the “Interim,” claiming Rosa’s recovery time is longer than expected? Another surprising win was Samoa Joe coming out the Double TV Champion after all. Now, Joe used opportunistic methods, but a win is a win. Maybe Wardlow goes for a rematch at ROH Final Battle, Winner Takes All?
Great stuff out of the No Holds Barred tag, which of course allowed Sonjay and Satnam to get involved. It didn’t change anything, Sting & Darby still win. I thought there was gonna be something here to push the feud along, but maybe we see that on Wednesday. Great tag title match, too, I think the best of all three because of the added story elements of Billy wanting after Swerve and Swerve wanting Keith to go Heel. Keith does not go Heel, the team is done, and now we’ll get Keith VS Swerve while The Acclaimed move on to any number of teams on the road to the New Year. FTR still has to settle up with Austin & Colten, so maybe after Final Battle, we build to New Years Smash, FTR VS Acclaimed.
And of course, what awesome stuff for the world title in the main event. Everyone was feeling it, everyone was wanting it, and this is one case where predictable is not boring. I loved seeing Regal slide that brass knuckle to MJF! MJF is like an Anti-Face because of how beloved he is despite doing Heel things. In a way, that makes him like this generation’s Eddie Guerrero, because we all loved Eddie being honest about how he’d lie, cheat and steal. MJF’s era as world champion is going to be really interesting, especially if Ethan Page wins the World Title Eliminator Tournament. It just makes sense in story for MJF to feud with The Firm, that would be another case where predictable isn’t boring.

Claudio Castagnoli SHOVES a cameraman down, then SMASHES the camera! Then he CHOKE SLAMS the cameraman through a table! Wheeler Yuta beats up more equipment, the fans boo these sore losers, because clearly this is all in response to losing the AEW World Trios Championships just last night. Boston tells off Yuta but he just uses that as motivation. Jon Moxley is in the ring, waiting for all of this to calm down a bit.
Marina gives Moxley the mic, and Moxley tells the fans and everyone celebrating last night better enjoy it now. “Hobbs, Swerve, Shibata, enjoy it now! Because it’s the last chance you’re gonna have to celebrate for a long time!” The fans boo, but Moxley tells The Young Bucks he officially doesn’t like them, he doesn’t like looking at them, so they better stay in their own lane. They cross the line with Moxley, he swears to God that they are never seen or heard from again, and he means that! Fans are torn there, but Moxley says from the first day he started in this sport, there was one undisputed baddest man in pro-wrestling. That man is Samoa Joe.
The fans cheer for “JOE! JOE! JOE!” and Moxley says he has always shown Joe respect, treated him with reverence. The fans sing, “Joe is gonna kill~ you!” Yuta tells them to shut up! Moxley says he has given Joe that reverence, he has given Joe his space, and it could’ve stayed that way. But Joe started something that Moxley has to finish. Because Moxley doesn’t know any other way, he will not run, he will not hide, he will not roll over and die. he knows no other way to do this but to fight Joe to the death for the AEW World Championship! Tomorrow, now, for better or worse! Mox will be clear: He is challenging Joe!
The fans again chant for “JOE! JOE! JOE!” Moxley says that’s all he’s gotta say. Joe’s known Moxley long enough to know exactly what he’s dealing with. Moxley then storms off, leading the Death Riders away. Will Samoa Joe accept that challenge, and perhaps even go Double or Nothing?
Kevin Knight VS Lance Archer w/ Don Callis!
The Jet is feeling real good having his share of $400,000, and he’s preparing for next month’s NJPW Best of the Super Juniors tournament. But will Knight still be too fly? Or will he be sent crashing down by the Murderhawk Monster?
The moment Archer hits the ring, he hits Knight! Archer fires off in a corner, the bell rings, and the ref counts. The fans boo but archer only stops to throw his jacket at Knight! Then he THROWS Knight out of the ring! The fans tell Callis off like they did last night, but Archer SMACKS Knight off the LED walls! Archer says night-night, Knight! He CLUBS Knight down on the stage, then drags him up to TOSS him down the ramp! Knight flounders to the apron but Archer steps inside to stop the ring count. Archer goes out to drag Knight up, choke grips, and CHOKE- NO, Knight flips free! Knight blocks a boot, ROCKS Archer, then goes up the corner, BIG triangle jump DROPKICK!
The fans fire up as night goes to the apron, springboards, QUEBRADA! They fall on the ramp and the fans fire up! Knight storms after Archer as they go into the ring, then Knight climbs up. Knight leaps to SEATED- NO, Archer catches Knight! Knight fights and RANAS Archer into a corner! Knight stomps and UPPERCUTS on repeat! Knight then stomps a mudhole, but stops as the ref counts 4. The fans fire up with Knight, but Archer LARIATS Knight inside-out! The fans boo but Archer drags Knight back up. Short arm LARIAT! Callis applauds while Archer rains down forearms on Knight’s head.
The ref reprimands about pulling hair but Archer tells him to shut up! Archer stomps Knight, paces around him, then drags him up. Archer CLUBS Knight on the back, then stalks him to a corner. Archer CHOPS Knight but the fans rally, “Let’s Go, Kevin!” Archer whips, Knight sunset flips, but Archer stays up! But Knight avoids the punch! Knight runs to SLIDING SHOULDER TACKLE! Archer tumbles out of the ring, Knight runs, and he WRECKS Archer with a dropkick! Archer pinballs off the desk, then Knight goes up the corner. But Callis grabs at Knight’s foot! The fans boo, Callis gets away with that, but Archer drags Knight down!
Archer ROCKS Knight, then SWINGS him into the steel steps! Archer is all fired up, Callis is happy, but the fans boo while Collision goes picture in picture.
Archer drags Knight up, brings him around, and whips him hard into railing! Knight sputters, the fans cheer him on, but Archer brings Knight up. Archer ROCKS Knight, sits him in a chair, and then runs up to BOOT him down! Knight slumps against the barriers while Archer refreshes the count. But this just lets Callis get his shots in! Callis hammers Knight, but stops before he gets caught. Callis talks smack on the fans, especially that one guy in the third row. Archer stands Knight up against barriers, calls out a small child in their father’s arms, and then CHOPS Knight! Archer drags Knight along the way, taunts more fans, but Knight fires body shots!
Knight CHOPS Archer, but Archer isn’t even bothered! Archer whips Knight back into the ring, then storms in after him. Archer looms over Knight, stands on Knight’s hand, then steps off as the ref reprimands. Archer taunts Knight, stands him up, and pulls hair to put him in the corner. Archer climbs up, taunts the fans, and he smothers Knight! Archer rains down fists, but he stops short of ten to rob the fans the satisfaction! Spring Breakthru returns to single picture and Archer runs corner to corner. ELBOW! Archer keeps moving, and he ELBOWS Knight again! Archer wants more, so he runs again, to ELBOW Knight again!
The fans are torn as Archer has his hattrick, and he looms over Knight again. Archer taunts Knight, slaps him around, but Knight fires a body shot! Archer nods, eggs Knight on, and Knight fires more hands! The fans fire up, but Archer DECKS Knight! Archer drags Knight around, has a cocky cover, ONE!! Knight is tougher than that as a former IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Champion, and he flips Archer off! Archer grabs at him, Knight cradles, TWO!! Archer almost got caught, but he BOOTS Knight for that! And GERMAN SUPLEXES! Knight lands on his face and Archer grins. The fans rally for Knight but Archer puts him in a corner.
Archer hoists Knight up top, ROCKS him, then lifts Knight in the reverse crucifix! Knight flails, BLACKOUT- NO, Knight lands out! But Archer grabs him! CHOKE- DROPKICK! Knight turns things around, then fires hands! The fans rally as hard as they can for Knight as Knight fires shot after shot! Knight whips, Archer reverses, but knight slips to the outside! Archer hits buckles, Knight springboards in, but Archer gets clear. Knight comes back, but into a BOOT/STOMP! Archer drags Knight right up, then goes up the corner with him! The fans fire up already as Archer lifts Knight, but Knight fires elbows!
Knight fires body shots now, Archer pushes him back, but Knight returns, to the UPPER ROOM! Knight rolls and UFO SPLASHES! Cover, TWO! Archer is still in this, but Knight runs corner to corner, only for Archer to dodge! Arche comes back, DERAILER!! Archer hauls Knight up, BUCKLE BOMBS, and CHOKE SLAMS! Cover, TWO?!?! Knight survives and Callis is furious! Archer snarls but he drags Knight back to a corner. The fans rally as hard as they can for “KEVIN! KEVIN!” but Archer walks the tightrope! But Knight trips Archer up! Archer is stuck on the ropes, and Knight DROPKICKS him down!

Predators tend to think they are the largest and most evil thing in the jungle. They think that nothing pursues them because they are the pursuers. Tonight, the Death Riders learned that wasn’t the case. See, we are The Opps. We are not a movement, we are not an understanding between gentlemen, no. We are men who only need an opportunity and excuse to commit violence. We are men like Shibata. We are men like myself. And now, Death Riders, you learned we are men like Willy Hobbs.
“We are The Opps. We are your AEW Trios Champions. And we are coming for so much more.” The Death Riders were the hunters but are now the hunted, will their reign of terror end thanks to The Opps?

Backstage interview with Jamie Hayter & Kris Statlander.
Renee Paquette is with these two ahead of their Women’s Owen Hart Foundation Tournament match, set for next week on Dynamite. It is a semifinal match, and yet this is also the first time Kris and Jamie face off 1v1. The winner goes on to Double or Nothing to face Mercedes Mone in the tournament finals, but Kris stops Renee there. Enough about Mone. And enough about Toni Storm, honestly. There are plenty of other women in this locker room who work just as hard, if not harder, than those two. Jamie says she won’t disagree there. Jamie works hard, Kris works hard, and Jamie won’t stand here to give endless pats on the back.
But Jamie also knows Kris is good, being a former TBS Champion. And Kris knows Jamie is good, being a former AEW Women’s World Champion. They both know they can go, and this right here has been a long time coming. Whoever wins this, they better go all the way. See you Wednesday, mate. That match is for Dynamite, but will Kris get a leg up on Mone in the tag match later tonight?
Tony Schiavone reads a letter from FTR.
Given the suspension as announced last night, Dax Harwood & Cash Wheeler are not allowed in the building, so they sent this message instead.
“Dear Tony & Nigel, I (Dax) wish I could take back everything we did to you guys last week. It was completely unacceptable, unnecessary, and unwarranted. I honestly think the punishment for us wasn’t severe enough.” Schiavone explains it is a suspension for a week, without pay. Dax’s letter continues to say, “Tony, I would never have gone through with the piledriver with you. You said some things about my daughter that I won’t hold against you. But in the heat of the moment, I felt I was justified to scare you a little. I love you, Tony.” Schiavone rolls his eyes, the fans boo because they don’t believe Dax’s words.
Schiavone explains this next part is addressed to Nigel. “I never wanted things to get physical between the three of us, I know your body, and your mind for that matter, is very fragile.” Nigel rolls his eyes at the passive aggressiveness there. “I’m sure you were thinking the same thing with emotions as we were. Even though you probably knew there was no way you could ever beat us up, LOL. Again, my sincerest apologies to you both, and I hope we can just move forward in a professional and productive manner. With love, Dax Harwood.” The fans still boo the ingenuine sentiments, and Nigel sarcastically accepts the apology. Will FTR ever actually learn their lesson?

The Walking Weapon couldn’t defeat the Cowboy, so he goes and sucker punches him after the match, then seemingly joins forces with The Don Callis Family! Will Alexander get his first win alongside The Alpha? Or can Azucar & Stone Pitbull conglomerate their way to a victory?
The teams sort out and Ishii starts against Konosuke in a battle of Openweight Champions! The fans fire up as Ishii and Konosuke go toe to toe, then they start shoving! The forearms start flying, the fans fire up, and Ishii gets the edge! Ishii runs, but Konosuke BOOTS him! Konosuke whips, Ishii reverses, and then Ishii ducks the lariat to waistlock. Ishii ducks an elbow, but Konosuke ROCKS Ishii! Konosuke reels Ishii in, but Ishii suplexes first! Konosuke fights free, then runs up, and they RAM shoulders! The fans fire up and Ishii runs to RAM Konosuke again! Konosuke returns, runs through the chop and he CLOBBERS Ishii!
Ishii is up, he runs through a chop and then CLOBBERS Konosuke! Konosuke is back up, both men run in, and they RAM each other down! The fans fire up while Konosuke and Ishii back off. Tag to Rocky and Alexander and the fans rally again. The two circle, tie up, and Alexander waistlocks. Rocky switches, Alexander switches, and Alexander SLAMS Rocky down! Rocky brushes that off while the fans rally. The two circle, tie up, and Rocky wrenches. Alexander knees low, whips, but Rocky slides under! Rocky wheelbarrows and arm-drags! Alexander comes back, Rocky dodges and RANAS! The fans fire up while Rocky gives some Azucar Heat!
Rocky runs up, Alexander DUMPS him to the apron, but Rocky UPPERCUTS! Alexander distracts the ref so that Konosuke can YANK Rocky down! Konosuke DOUBLE CHOPS Rocky, then DRIVE-BY DROPKICKS! Rocky sputters while Collision goes picture in picture.
Alexander runs to BODY CHECK Rocky off the apron! The Don Callis Family soaks up the heat, then they fetch Rocky off the ground. Alexander puts Rocky on the apron, CLUBS him, then slides in. Alexander has the ref watch Ishii, and then he stomps Rocky around. Alexander scoops and SLAMS Rocky, then tags Konosuke. Konosuke goes up to SUPER SENTON! Cover, TWO! Rocky stays in this, but Konosuke stays on Rocky with a snapmare and KCIK! Konosuke tags Alexander and Alexander stalks Rocky. Alexander drags Rocky from the ropes to drop a knee! Cover, TWO! Alexander stalks Rocky to the ropes, then bumps him off buckles.
Alexander CHOPS Rocky, and Collision goes to break.
Collision returns and Konosuke has Rocky up top! Rocky fights the back suplex with fists, then he BITES Konosuke! The ref reprimands, but Rocky cravats to hit a SUPER SLICED BREAD! The fans fire up while both men crawl, hot tags to Alexander and Ishii! The fans fire up as these two RAM, and RAM, and then Ishii ROCKS Alexander! Ishii whips, Alexander reverses, but Ishii comes back to CLOBBER Alexander! And SAIDO! Cover, TWO! Alexander survives but Ishii runs, only for Konosuke to get a cheap shot in! Ishii DECKS Konosuke for it! Alexander waistlocks, Ishii fights and switches, but Konosuke runs in!
Alexander ducks, Konosuke BOOTS Ishii! Konosuke runs, he and Ishii DOUBLE LARIAT! Konosuke rebounds to LARIT Ishii down! Rocky runs up, wrenches Konosuke, and kicks off Alexander to TORNADO DDT! Ishii LARIATS Konosuke back down, but Alexander kicks! Ishii blocks, feed to Rocky for a kick and UPPERCUT! Then Ishii hits a GERMAN SUPLEX! The fans fire up more as Ishii runs, and he LARIATS Alexander down! Cover, Rocky blocks Konosuke, but Konosuke SHOVES Rocky onto Ishii! The match is saved but the ref reprimands everyone for being in the ring. Ishii and Rocky argue, but Konosuke has Rocky!

Lexy Nair is with the former Learning Tree Branches, The Redwood & The Bad Apple. She brings up how last week, Chris Jericho said he wasn’t angry, he was just disappointed, and then he left them to themselves. Where do they go from here? Bill says Jericho was disappointed in them, but Bill is disappointed in Jericho. Jericho is supposed to be the leader, and yet he walks out on them? Quite honestly, Bill is getting… angry. Keith wants Bill to chill. Not right now. What? What’s the difference? They talked about this in private, what’s the difference with it being now? Keith says it is like Bill just said: It was in private.
Keith knows Jericho said they were family, and that means something to Keith. And he just feels that if they’re family, they should handle this like family, and that is internally. And maybe, if Bill didn’t put Jericho on blast last week, Jericho wouldn’t have left. Bill understands, family is very important. That is why Keith wants to get back in the good graces of Jericho. Bill gets that. He just isn’t sure they should be living and dying at the whims of Jericho. Either way, the strategy moving forward is the same: They need to get in the ring, crack some skulls, and stack some wins. Lexy, to answer the question of what’s next, that is next.

Renee catches up to The Jet as he and “Speedball” Mike Bailey say hey. A big congratulations for Knight in winning against Archer. Renee is pretty sure that match came about because Callis didn’t like the rejection he got in trying to recruit Knight and Speedball. Knight says pretty much, but that’s understandable. He doesn’t think the Don- Ricochet steps in, backwards hat and military coat not really going together, but he tells Knight to shut it. Ricochet says these goofs are not the story of the week. The story is how they screwed Ricochet last week and stole that prize money!
Speedball says if by “screwed,” Ricochet means Speedball’s team beat him fair and square to win 400 stacks, then yeah, he got screwed. Ricochet says first, you pinned Mortos, not Ricochet. And seeing as how they’re the new guys here, here’s some “veteran advice.” Don’t upset the top talent in AEW. You don’t disrupt the chain of command. And since Knight and Speedball are so low, at the bottom of the pole, take his advance before something bad happens. Knight says Ricochet has it all twisted, they respect him. Knight and Speedball respect the game, the in-ring talent, the hot wife, all of that.
But anything that Ricochet can do, the Jet can, too. In fact, here’s something he can do that Ricochet can’t. And then he shakes them dreads! Ricochet says here’s what he can do: he can smack Knight in his mouth! Then do it then! Maybe he will, if Knight keeps talking! Knight fakes a slap and makes Ricochet flinch! Is this a substitution or a 3v2 Handicap now? Harley THROWS Mini Mone at Kris, which Kris easily catches. Kris passes Mini Mone to Julia, how just puts Mini Mone down to step on! Harley tries to roll Kris up but Kris stays up.
Kris drags Harley to her feet, then slips around to roll Harley up! Harley rolls through, Oklahoma Rolls back, TWO! Kris runs up, Harley headlocks, but Kris powers up and out. Harley tilt-o-whirls and HARLEY-GO-ROUNDS! Kris ends up in a corner, the fans fire up, and Harley shouts, “Feel The Wrath~!” Harley runs in, Kris dodges, and then Kris runs in. Harley ELBOWS Kris, has Kris in the ropes, and sunset flips! TWO! Kris kicks, then deadlifts Harley for a suplex! The fans fire up, Kris tags Julia, and Julia takes the handoff to wrench and YANK Harley’s arm! Julia YANKS the arm again and again, then goes up the ropes.
Julia knuckle locks, then tightrope walks! The fans fire up as Julia hits an OLD SCHOOL! Then she adds a BLINDSIDE LARIAT! Cover, but Mone breaks it! The fans cheer, but Julia drags Harley up. Harley JAWBREAKERS, then runs, dodges, and ENZIGIRIS! Tag to Mone, but Julia drop toeholds! Julia dribbles Mone off the mat, but Mone gets free. Mone goes to a corner, Julia runs up and ELBOWS! Julia runs side to side, tags Kris, then goes back to ELBOW Mone again! Kris runs in and KNEES Mone down! Kris brings Mone around to scoop, and FALL AWAY SLAMS! The fans fire up while Mone flounders out and Kris flexes.
Kris goes to the apron, Mone blocks the kick, but Kris handstands out of the throw! Kris also avoids the sweep of her arms, but Mone goes up! Kris avoids the meteora, and they both stop as the other shows haymaker! They then look at Toni Storm, and then they both ROCK the other! Julia and Harley run up, but Mone and Kris DECK them! Then they fire fast hands with each other! The fans fire up, Kris KNEES low, and Collision goes picture in picture.
Kris reels Mone in and FLAPJACKS her off the apron! Mone flounders, Kris stands on her while doing the CEO dance! Kris hauls Mone up and into the ring, covers, TWO! Kris drags Mone up, tags Julia, and they mug Mone. Julia ROCKS Mone, whips her to a corner, but Mone reverses. Mone runs up, blocks boots and ROCKS Julia! Julia is in the ropes and Mone hits the STOCK DROP! Mone huffs ‘n’ puffs before she drags Julia to a cover, TWO! Mone is annoyed but she drags Julia up again. Mone snapmares Julia, runs, and METEORAS! Cover, TWO! Julia stays in this but Mone taunts Kris. Mone dares Julia to crawl to Kris, but then she bumps Julia off buckles.
Mone tags Harley and they mug Julia. Harley brings Julia around, whips her to ropes, and ELBOWS her down! Cover, TWO! Harley stays between Julia and Kris, then brings her around. Julia JAWBREAKERS free, then CLUBS Harley. Julia CHOPS Harley at the ropes, CHOPS her again, then fires forearms. The ref counts, Julia backs off, but then Julia whips Harley to ropes. Harley ducks ‘n ‘dodges, and DOUBLE LARIATS take them both down! The fans rally while Julia and Harley crawl, and Spring Breakthru returns to single picture as they hot tag Mone and Kris! The fans fire up as Mone CHOPS, knuckle locks and goes up, up, and FLYING ARM-DRAGS!
Mone does her dance, then runs corner to corner, DOUBLE KNEES! Mone reels Kris in, the fans rally, and Mone snap suplexes! That’s Una Amiga, and then Mone gets Kris up for Dos Amigas! then THREE AMIGAS! But Kris stops it before quatro! Harley makes the save, and she helps Mone, only for Kris to DOUBLE SUPLEX! Kris rolls through?! DOS DOUBLE SUPLEX! Kris rolls through again and THREE DOUBLE SUPLEX!! The fans are thunderous, we see Jamie Hayter watching backstage and applauding, and Kris puts Mone & Harley in the drop zone! Kris goes up, but Harley rolls with Mone to avoid the 450 Splash!
The fans fire up as Kris tags Julia while Mone and Harley seem to have a tender moment of friendship. Julia ruins the moment with a STANDING MOONSUALT! Julia then tilt-o-whirls Mone, but Mone stops that to RAM Julia into the corner! And then she puts Julia in the Tree of Woe for KNEE after KNEE after KNEE! Mone goes out, goes up, but Julia SPIDER SUPLEXES her away! Harley runs up, Julia sits up to then roll back, and she takes a swing! Harley reels Julia in for a NECKBREAKER! Kris kicks Harley, reels her in, and hits a NORTHERN LIGHTS BOMB! But then Mone METEORAS Kris! Julia stalks Mone, runs up, wrench and STO!
Julia puts Mone in the drop zone, goes back up the corner, and HART SAULT gets KNEES! The fans fire up while Julia and Mone are both down! Julia and Mone stir, “This is Awesome!” as a standing count starts. Mone and Julia stir at about 4 of 10, crawl for their corners, hot tag to Kris! Kris fires off on Mone with forearms! Kris ROUNDHOUSES Mone, BLASTS Harley, and then runs up on Mone. Mone hooks her into the Gory Especial! Kris fights free, scoops Mone, but Mone kicks and flails! Kris’ legs give out, they both flop down, and the two fight on the mat. Kris powers up to her feet, but Harley tags in!
Harley brings Mone out of the gut wrench, but Kris hits the DISCUS LARIAT! Kris kicks, Mone blocks, and Mone KNEES Kris in return! Mone whips, Kris reverses, and Mone is sent into Julia’s TARANTULA!! But Harley rolls Kris up! TWO!! Mone is stuck as Kris scoops Harley and hits a BACKBREAKER! Then Kris cording holds Harley’s arm, kisses the bicep, and hits the Hayterade?! Cover, Kris & Julia win!
Winner: Kris Statlander & Julia Hart, by pinfall
That wasn’t just the game winner Kris hit on Harley, it was a message sent to Jamie! Luther helps Toni Storm to the ring so she can applaud Kris, and even blow a kiss! Will Kris go Double or Nothing with Mone to then go All In with Toni? Or will Kris feel a Hayterade from the source?
My Thoughts:
A great Collision to not just wrap Spring Breakthru but to keep things going immediately from last night. Very good promo from The Opps after their win, and some great stuff with The Death Riders for once. The Death Riders throwing a fit was good stuff, and Moxley had a good promo to call out Samoa Joe. Moxley wants his match with Samoa Joe, that’s a great detail in itself, and that is going to be a great match for Double or Nothing. Claudio stepping up to Adam Cole’s Open Challenge was also cool, and that was a great match. Cole surviving was a good touch, especially with how it just pissed Claudio off more.
Very good promo from Bill & Keith, and it feels very obvious that Keith will betray Bill to side with Jericho. We will get Bill VS Jericho, Keith will screw Bill, but then something will happen where Bill gets his rematch and wins over Jericho in the end. Really good “letter” from FTR to keep up their passive aggressive nature, and you can bet they’ll just do all the same things again next week when they’re back. Great to see LFI back in full force, but let’s just hope they actually get going this time around. There could even be some interesting intertwining of stories if LFI challenge for the trios titles at Double or Nothing, putting Joe in a double header situation since he’ll face Moxley for the world title.
Good promo from Top Flight with Cru to hype up next week’s Collision. But does every post-basketball Collision need a nickname? And as nicknames go, “Playoff Palooza” sounds more like a promotional deal run at a supermarket or car dealership. Really good stuff from the Don Callis Family tonight. Great match from Knight VS Archer and a great win for Knight. Knight and Speedball have a good promo with Ricochet, and a match of Knight VS Ricochet would be awesome, I hope we see it before Knight’s off for Best of the Super Juniors.
Great tag match of Alexander & Takeshita VS Ishii & Rocky, and I should’ve realized watching ROH Prelude to Spring Breakthru was teasing something for tonight. Rocky was salty over that loss there, and then he got even saltier during this match. Great to see Trent back, and now Roppongi Vice is Don Callis Family! They can be the tag team of the faction while Konosuke, Kyle Fletcher and now Josh Alexander all go for singles titles. Awesome ROH World Television Championship match from Komander and Nick Wayne, and again to my surprise, the Prelude foreshadowed stuff. Nick brought momentum into this match, he won this title, and unless he loses it back to Komander at like Supercard of Honor, he probably will bring the title to NJPW BOSJ.
Another great handicap match win for Megan Bayne, but she’ll still be spinning her wheels until after Double or Nothing with all this other stuff going on. Great promo from Mone, Harley & Mini Mone before their main event tag match, and same for Kris having a good promo with Jamie Hayter. That was of course a great match, and Kris winning using Jamie’s finisher was wild. I feel like with Toni Storm paying more attention to Kris, that’s a sign Kris is beating Jamie to face Mone at Double or Nothing. It’s still anyone’s guess who wins the Cup, because Toni VS Kris and Toni VS Mone are both great matches.

Boston fires up as their C E O is here, one match away from going Double or Nothing for the Owen Hart Cup. But will #FourBeltsMone get a win over the Forever ROH Women’s Champion? Or will Athena prove she is every bit the Fallon Goddess, the Minion Overlord, the American Joshi, and THE most dominant women’s champion in all of wrestling today?
The bell rings and the fans are strongly behind “C E O! C E O!” Mone. Mone and Athena stare down, slowly circle, and hear the fans are already losing their minds for this veritable dream match. Athena and Mone tie up, go around, and Mone arm-drags Athena. They tie up again, Athena arm-drags Mone now. They tie up a third time, end up on the ropes, then tumble out to the apron and ramp! The fans fire up, the ref reprimands, but Mone and Athena stand up to go up the ramp and to the stage! They finally break, and both women tell the other that the cup is theirs. The fans fire up as Athena and Mone reset to tie up on stage!
Mone waistlocks, Athena fights it, and they go all the way back down the ramp, to tumble into the ring this time! The fans fire up as the two fight up, and Athena reaches back to headlock. Mone powers up and out, they RAM shoulders, and the fans fire up more. Mone and Athena stare down, tie up, and then Athena arm-drags! Athena trips Mone to a cover, ONE! Mone trips Athena to a cover, ONE! Athena hits an Oklahoma Roll, TWO! Mone reels Athena in, hooks the arms and turns her for a backslide, TWO! Athena mule kicks, her fans getting louder for her, and Athena reels Mone in for a cradle! TWO, and the two roll and roll and roll!
The fans fire up as the two keep rolling, rolling, rolling, and then finally stops for Mone, TWO! Both women stand up, a bit dizzy, and the fans fire up again. Athena eggs Mone on, Mone storms up on her, and the two tie up again. They’re in another deadlock, but Athena powers Mone back. They’re on the ropes, the ref counts, and Athena slowly lets go. Athena whips, Mone tilt-oi-whirls and rolls Athena up, TWO! Athena kicks, Mone blocks, and Mone KNEES Athena! The fans duel and Mone runs, sunset flip BUCKLE BOMB! Shoutout to an old friend and Mone runs corner to corner. METEORA! Cover, ONE!!
Mone is shocked, but Athena is a champion of over 857 days for a reason. Mone drags Athena up, brings her in, turns her again, Gory especial! But Athena flips through, reels Mone into a reverse sunset! TWO, and Athena wrenches Mone to SOBAT! And ENZIGIRI! Mone goes to a corner while the fans fire up. Athena runs, handspring and LARIAT! The fans fire up as Athena cradles again, TWO! Mone stays in this, Athena is annoyed, but the fans fire up more. Athena ROCKS Mone, reels her in, and UPPERCUTS! The fans decide to cheer on the Celtics since they can all agree on that, and Athena whips Mone to ropes.
Mone ducks ‘n’ dodges, tilt-o-whirls, and LA MYSTICA into the STATEMENT MAKER CROSSFACE! Athena endures, reaches out, and fights around. Mone flips over to block the ropebreak, but Athena uses that to roll Mone for a cover! ROPEBREAK, but then they both tumble to the apron then the floor! Mone still has the crossface on! The ref reprimands, but Mone just wants Athena to pass out at this point! The ring count starts, Mone lets go of Athena, then drags her up. Mone whips, but Athena reverses and she puts Mone int he ring! But Mone METEORAS at the apron! Athena’s stuck in the ropes, dangling over the floor!
The fans fire up as Mone goes back to the apron, stands over Athena, and does her dance! Athena tries to sit up, but Mone waves bye-bye. WOE STOMPS miss as Athena reclines back! Mone hobbles as a leg jams, and Athena grabs her! STUNNER to the floor! The fans fire up again while both women are down, and Dynamite goes picture in picture!
The ref seems to let off on the ring count with both women stirring slowly. Aubrey Edwards checks, Athena and Mone are okay to continue, so Aubrey ushers them into the ring. Athena rises up, brings Mone around to SMACK her off the apron, and then stalks after her as she goes to railing. Athena CHOPS Mone, the fans fire up, and Mone is sputtering as she staggers away. Athena storms up but Mone pushes her to railing, then CHOPS her in return! Mone puts Athena in the ring, storms up and HIP DROPS! Mone then clamps on for a chinlock and stretches Athena back. Athena endures, fights up, and Mone is a backpack!
Athena hits a BACKPACK STUNNER! Cover, TWO! Mone stays in this, then crawls to a corner, but Athena seethes as she storms over to her. Athena fires forearms, whips corner to corner, then runs up, only for Mone to slip out to the apron! Athena hits buckles, Mone pulls her into the ropes, then climbs up for the STOCK DROP! Cover, TWO! Athena survives and Mone is growing frustrated. It doesn’t help that fans are now torn down the middle. Mone drags Athena up, whips, but Athena reverses to TOSS Mone out! Athena builds speed and DIVES! Direct hit and they hit the desk! Both women are down again and the ref has to check them again.
Mone and Athena are still in this, and Athena slowly crawls her way over to Mone. Mone tries to get away while Spring Breakthru returns to single picture. The fans duel, “Fallen Goddess!” “C E O!” as Athena and Mone hear the ring count. They both spring in at 9.5! Mone and Athena go forehead to forehead, then go forearm for forearm! Athena ROCKS Mone, but then Mone ROCKS Athena! The forearms keep going, then Mone changes toa CHOP! Athena CHOPS, Mone CHOPS again! Athena fires a flurry of strikes, but Mone blocks the mule kick to spin and DECK Athena! But Athena kips up to SUPERKICK Mone!
The fans fire up as Athena gut wrenches Mone, tucks her in, but Mone kicks and flails! Mone turns this around on Athena, powers up to keep Athena up, but then Athena fights to turn this back around! The fans are thunderous as Mone turns it around again! CIPHER UTAKI! The fans give a standing ovation while both women are down! Mone crawls to cover, TWO!! Athena is still in this and Mone is beside herself. Mone looks to the cup, hears the fans dueling, and she drags Athena to the corner. Mone goes up, reels Athena in, and TORNADO DDTS! Then a tilt-o-whirl, DDT!! Cover, TWO!! Athena survives and Mone is in shock!
“This is Awesome!” as Mone thinks on what more she must do to end this. Mone drags Athena up, fans hope they “Fight Forever!” but this is just the start of the show! Mone SLAPS Athena, reels her in, and snap suplexes! That’s Una Amiga, and Mone brings Athena up again. Dos Amigas, and Mone brings Athena up again! Mone gives Athena THREE AMIGAS, but she’s not done! Mone gives some Latina Heat, but Athena wrenches out! Athena shoves, pops Mone up, POWERBOMB! High stack, deadlift, and POWERBOMB again! And POWERBOMB AGAIN! Athena flips Mone over, reels her back in, and Canadian Racks!
But Mone slips around to hit a BACKBREAKER! Both women are down again and the fans are thunderous! Mone drags Athena back up, ROCKS her, but Athena fires back! Athena UPPERCUTS, but Mone fires a flurry of forearms! The fans are torn as Mone just HAMMERS away! Mone soaks up the cheers and jeers, but Athena fireman’s carries! ROLLING DEATH VALLEY, then a cover, TWO! Mone scrambles away to a corner while Athena snarls. Athena storms up on Mone, but Mone ROCKS Athena first! Mone fires another forearm, and another, the fans continue to duel, and Mone whips. Athena reverses and UPPERCUTS to the back!
Athena goes side to side, Mone dodges and runs back in, METEORA! Athena tumbles out of the ring while Mone scowls. Mone goes out to the apron, brings Athena up, and reels her in for a waistlock. She’s aiming for the floor! Athena holds onto the ropes for dear life! Mone shifts to get back up, then CLUBS the arms! Athena grabs the middle rope to stop the suplex! Athena powers up to stand on the apron, only for Mone to now shift and SUNSET FLIP! Athena still holds onto the ropes! Mone reaches up like a spider to get her legs involved, but Athena just stomps away on Mone! The fans fire up as Athena roars!
Athena scowls, drags Mone up with a waistlock, but now Mone holds onto the ropes! Mone elbows free, then slips around to Gory Especial! Athena fights free, pushes Mone, and BOOTS her down! Mone sputters but Athena is in the ropes, to SNAP POWERSLAM Mone on the apron! Athena drags Mone in for a cover, TWO!! Mone survives and now Athena is growing frustrated. The fans are thunderous again as Athena clamps on with a CROSSFACE! Athena wants to make a statement of her own with this! Mone endures, reaches out, and Mone kicks off the ropes! They roll around, and now Mone has the CROSSFACE!!
Athena endures, fights up, rolls to a cover, TWO! Mone lets go in time, but then Athena reels her in! Athena hauls Mone up for a Canadian Rack! But Mone fights free again! Mone shoves Athena into a corner, BLINDSIDE LARIATS, then Mone brings Athena around. Athena dodges the haymaker to CHOP! Athena and Mone are both running on fumes but Athena hauls Mone up to the Canadian Rack, SIDEWINDER! But Mone flops out of the ring! The fans are torn while Athena is pulling at her hair in frustration! Athena sees Mone floundering on the floor, goes out and lines up a shot, then runs in, only to be THROWN into railing!
Athena writhes from that crash and Mone has a sinister grin. Mone drags Athena up, puts her on the barriers, but Athena drags Mone up to join her! The fans rally as both women sit up, then stand up! The SLAPS start going off! Athena ROCKS Mone, reels her in, and hits a GOURD- NO, Mone lands out! Athena leaps, Mone dodges, but Athena comes back to SHOTGUN Mone into the LED barriers! Athena puts Mone in, goes up a corner, O- NO!! Mone blocks the stunner to rolling body scissor clutch! Cover, MONE WINS!!

It was a true epic between these two, but Mone wins in her hometown! And now- TONI STORM IS HERE! The Timeless AEW Women’s World Champion is here among her people in the upper deck to applaud the first finalist in the 2025 Women’s Owen Hart Tournament. Renee Paquette is with the Cowboy, and says she will try this question again from last week. Coming up in mere moments, he faces the Wild Card in the Owen Hart Cup. How has he prepared for this match? Hangman says it is the Wild Card, how can he- The Elite interrupts. The Young Bucks step in and say hey, been a minute. In fact, it was last year’s Blood & Guts when Hangman walked out on them and cost them the entire match. But hey, Matt knows Hangman’s about to apologize, but they’ve already forgiven him, it’s all good. Nick says my God in Heaven, thy kingdom come, thy will be done, does Hangman look good!
And Nick knows that Hangman is happy now, because the Bucks cost Swerve the world title like Hangman wanted. It’s like they’re best friends again. This is great. Now, one more thing. This whole issue Hangman has with Moxley and the Death Riders? Yeah, they can fix that. They’ll patch things up. Because between you and them, the Death Riders are crazy. But The Elite are sure they can get the Death Riders on their side. So here’s what Hangman is gonna do. Hangman is gonna win The Owen, he’ll bring the world title back to The Elite, let The Bucks handle the rest. You got this, Hanger! Go get ’em, champ!
Nick & Matt walk out, but Okada hangs back long enough to ask Hangman, “Why you always angry? Smile! Like this!” Okada has a big goofy grin, Hangman just heads out. Okada says, “B*tch!” Hangman storms back in and Okada apologizes. Just smile. Hangman leaves again, and Okada rolls his eyes. Will the Rainmaker learn not to push Hangman’s buttons if he knows what’s good for him?

Spring Breakthru returns as The Cowboy makes his entrance. The Elite is backing his play for the Cup and the AEW World Championship, but who is Hangman even facing? We’ve been waiting since the brackets were announced, and the answer is… JOSH ALEXANDER! The fans go nuts as the Walking Weapon is in Boston! Will Alexander make an impact on this year’s Owen Hart Cup?
The bell rings, the fans fire up already, and Hangman stares down Alexander. The two circle, the fans duel, and the two tie up. They break, reset, and tie up again. They break again, circle some more, and they tie up. Hangman goes for an arm, wrenches to a wristlock, but Alexander rolls, wrenches, and BACKDROPS Hangman to then have a wristlock. Hangman fights around, rolls and handsprings up to wrench and headlock. Alexander powers up and out, Hangman RAMS him, but Alexander stays up! The fans cheer, and Hangman fires a forearm! Alexander fires a forearm, Hangman fires back, repeat!
Hangman fires a flurry, puts Alexander in a corner, but Alexander ELBOWS him! Alexander runs through Hangman to then come back and BOOT him down! The fans fire up and Alexander paces around Hangman. The fans fire up as Hangman takes aim, but Callis whispers something to Alexander? Kyle scrambles out of the ring, and Alexander CLOBBERS Hangman from behind?! Why would he do that?! The straps come down, and Alexander drags Hangman up, POWERBOMB!! What did Callis say to convince Alexander to do this? Is Alexander the newest member of the Don Callis Family?! The fans tell Callis off, but this all lets Kyle drag Hangman up. Suplex and BRAINBUSTER!! Will this be how it goes in the eventual Owen Hart Cup semifinal match? Or will the Aussie Arrow be shot down by a Buckshot?
The Patriarchy speaks.
Specifically, Nick Wayne says, “The Patriarchy is a hierarchy. And who’s at the top? The father. So when the father disappears, either the whole structure collapses on itself, or someone needs to-” Kip Sabian notices someone off screen, and he taps Nick on the shoulder. Nick asks what’s going on, then looks over. It’s CHRISTIAN CAGE! Christian walks over and says, “Daddy’s home, Nick. It’s been quite a month for you, hasn’t it? And I’ve been watching from afar, and I couldn’t happen to notice one of those weeks, you said you knew the reason why I executed the contract at Revolution and didn’t stick to the plan. But you wanted to say it to my face. Well, say it.”
Nick says the reason Christian didn’t stick to the plan is because he wouldn’t be able to live with himself if Cope became AEW World Champion before Christian did. Oh, is that what Nick thinks? Well, that’s what Nick thinks, so it isn’t a fact, it’s just an assumption. And to assume makes an ass out of you and me. But what is fact is, the last time they saw each other face to face, Nick had a fire lit under him. Christian liked that. Make no mistake, Christian gave Nick this month to find himself. To find the confidence to keep that flame growing. Christian was impressed with what Nick did while Christian was away.
So impressed, in fact, that Christian got Nick something. It has been a lifelong dream for Nick to wrestle for NJPW, in the Best of the Super Juniors tournament. So Christian took it upon himself to procure a spot for Nick in that tournament. Now, the best way to get ready for a tournament like BOSJ, Nick, is to keep your momentum going. That is what they will do. Christian will keep Nick very busy until it is time to head for Japan. That starts tomorrow night, Collision: Spring Breakthru, here in Boston. Nick will face one of the best super juniors in the world, Komander, for his ROH World Television Championship.
Christian knows Nick will go out there, win that match, and do it by himself. Nick’s gonna that title home to The Patriarchy, isn’t he? Because Christian knows his baby boy wouldn’t intentionally let his father down, now would he? Christian pats Nick on the cheek, to then basically SLAP him! Nick is fuming, Mother Shayna calms him down, but Christian has her and Kip follow him out. The Patriarchy’s Prodigy has that fire inside, but will that flame blaze a trail to the top of the wrestling world? Or is it going to burn him up inside?

Given their actions last week, both threatening Tony Schiavone & Nigel McGuinness, as well as going too far with Matthew Menard, Angelo Parker and Daniel Garcia, Dax Harwood & Cash Wheeler have been suspended for one week, and their paychecks for this week have also been docked as a fine. While the All Mighty & Standard of Excellence neither want nor need Maxwell Jacob Friedman, they do need to defend the titles. And while the Hurt Syndicate hurts people, Bishop Kaun & Toa Liona are pretty sure they break people. Will the Gates of Agony once again be golden? Or will the Gates be ripped right off the hinges?
The introductions are made, the belts are raised, and we see who really brings the pain!
The teams sort out and Liona just CLOBBERS Lashley & Shelton! Liona fires off on Shelton, the fans boo, but Liona CHOPS! Liona whips, Shelton turns the backdrop into a DDT, but Liona is right up! Liona HEADBUTTS Shelton in the chest! MVP is on commentary now as Liona calls to Kaun. The Gates coordinate, and Liona runs to HIP ATTACK Shelton in the corner! Kaun runs in and METEORAS! Then Kaun PLANCHAS onto Lashley! Liona covers Shelton, TWO! The fans rally, Liona tags Kaun, and now they get Shelton up. They mug Shelton in an open corner, the ref counts and reprimands, and the fans are torn.
Kaun CHOKES Shelton, lets off as the ref counts, and Kaun mockingly applauds. Kaun CLUBS Shelton, ROCKS him, then ROCKS him again. Kaun whips, Shelton reverses, but Kaun blocks a kick! The Gates of Agony may dominate ROH, but The Hurt Syndicate still runs AEW! And wait, here comes MJF. Lashley is annoyed by this scumbag’s persistence, but the fans cheer as MJF makes his way to the ring. MJF has the mic to tell them to cut his music, and the fans cheer him on. MJF says, “Ladies and gentlemen, enough about how great I am. Although, I am enjoying it, don’t get me wrong. But give it up for the Hurt Syndicate, baby!” The fans cheer, and MVP says see? MJF’s not all bad. The fans sing, “We Hurt~ People!” but MJF says no, Boston is way too white, and they’re not even on the same beat, so just stop.
But here’s the deal: As they know, MJF brings a lot to the table. Montel knows this, Shelton knows this–and he looks great by the way–and well, not to name names, but some of us are slow learners. Lashley gets mad because we know who he means, and MVP asks MJF why he has to do that. MVP gets Lashley to calm down, and MJF apologizes. Did he say a name, though? Boston says no, he didn’t. MJF thanks them for having his back. Now, when MJF talks about the talent he brings to the table, he’s not talking about his own. No, no, because MJF has some talent in the back that is just dying- MVP says MJF just needs to put the cards on the table, he already pissed Lashley off as it is.
MVP says he loves Max and, but get to the point. MJF says he loves Montel, too. But they’re gonna really like this. Bring ’em out! The Hurt Syndicate music plays as some of Boston’s finest ladies make their way out on stage. MJF seems to have piqued the Hurt Syndicate’s interest as these eight ladies make their way to the ring. MJF has the music cut, the ladies have towels to dry the guys down, and MJF says the Hurt Syndicate can have a night on the town with all these lovely ladies. All MJF requests are the three thumbs up for him to join up. The floor is theirs. MVP asks Shelton and Lashley to do this one more time.
MVP still gives his thumbs up. Shelton? Shelton, pay attention! Shelton stops staring at the ladies long enough to say this is all very nice. But uh, he might need a little more time. Boston boos, MJF tells them it’s cool, it’s fine, everybody shut up! But what does Shelton mean more time? They’ve been talking about this for weeks! Shelton says he’s gonna need some time. Shelton… Are you saying you want the watch on MJF’s wrist? Yes, exactly. MJF knew he liked Shelton! Okay, okay, hear him out. MJF will give him this watch. All Shelton needs to do is give the thumbs up. The fans cheer, and Shelton looks between watch and ladies, then holds out his hand.
Shelton smiles, and gives a thumbs u- Uhhh… Lashley is staring Shelton down… So Shelton gives a thumbs down!? Lashley intimidated Shelton into saying no! MJF says c’mon! They must be out their da- mocracy! MJF loves him some democracy! And he respects the power of the vote! Hell, MJF even respects the power of the people! Maybe not these people, but you get his point. Shelton, what MJF thinks is that he’s growing on Shelton. And tell you what. As a token of his appreciation, MJF will still give him the watch. In fact, if Shelton still wants the ladies, he can still have the ladies. The fans cheer that!
And just know that when MJF joins the Hurt Syndicate, there will be plenty more watches ‘n’ women where that came from. MJF steps out, and he says one more thing, “Bob.” MJF respects him, he is the All Mighty, he’s known for being strong. But y’know what MJF’s known for? Getting what he wants. MVP keeps Lashley calm, the fans chant “He’s Our Scumbag!” MJF asks Lashley if he knows why MJF gets what he wants. He’ll tell you why. It’s because he is Maxwell Jacob Friedman, and he’s better than you, and you know it. MJF drops the mic then takes his leave. But if possessions and pleasures won’t tempt Lashley, what must MJF offer to change his mind?
AEW returns and…
Alicia Atout catches The Hurt Syndicate and MJF’s ladies heading out. She congratulates them on the impressive win, but brings up that MJF is very persistent. MVP stops her there, wanting to talk with the guys first. MJF asks MJF’s ladies to give them a second, but not to wander off too far now. Lashley again says he still doesn’t trust MJF. MVP knows, but he says Lashley is having a personal reaction to MJF. This is business. Look at it from the business standpoint. MVP knows MJF can be… Annoying? Yes, annoying, but think businesswise. They can still use MJF to get what they want. So all MVP is asking is for Lashley to ease up.
MVP will give Lashley his word: The moment MJF steps outta line… Well, they’ll save that for later. Right now, can we just have a good night? Shelton asks, “Please?” Lashley says sure thing. Ladies, shall we? Yass~! Lashley, Shelton, MVP and the ladies head out to enjoy the Boston nightlife, but will the All Mighty actually give in to the Devil of AEW?
2025 Men’s Owen Hart Foundation Tournament Semifinal Round: Will Ospreay VS Konosuke Takeshita!
Stemming from the Don Callis Family dysfunction and fallout, these two are 1-1 from their instant classics last year. Aerial Assassin once again battles The Alpha, who takes the tiebreaker to go Double or Nothing?
Callis of course joins commentary for this one, but is annoyed that there’s another Callis cosplayer. The bell rings and the fans fire up behind Ospreay. The fans lose their minds already as Ospreay and Konosuke stare down. The two slowly circle, the fans fire up more, and the two tie up. Konosuke waistlocks, Ospreay switches, but Konosuke wrenches out. Ospreay rolls and gets free, and Konosuke applauds. The two reset, feel things out, knuckle lock, and then go shoulder to shoulder. Ospreay rolls back, spins, and wrangles Konosuke with a top wristlock. Konosuke fights up, trips Ospreay and has a toehold.
Ospreay uses his free leg to drag Konosuke down. Konosuke clasps hands to fight the armbar, but his shoulders are down so it’s a cover. TWO as Konosuke sits up, and he works to stack Ospreay. ONE as Ospreay pushes Konosuke back down. Konosuke rolls, traps Ospreay’s legs with his own, then waistlocks. Konosuke shifts to get a half nelson, and he turns Ospreay over to a lateral press, ONE! The two stand off and the fans tell off Callis. Callis looks over his shoulder at the fans flipping him off while Konosuke and Ospreay go to corners. Callis says he does not appreciate this treatment, he is simply helping “elevate” commentary.
Ospreay and Konosuke tie up, Konosuke powers Ospreay to a corner, but the ref counts. Konosuke lets off, but then winds up! Ospreay avoids the elbow and wags his finger. The fans cheer and Konosuke nods. Ospreay and Konosuke reset, tie up, and Konosuke pulls hair to put Ospreay on the ropes! The ref counts, Konosuke lets go at 4, but then he tries to sneak a headlock, only for Ospreay to turn things around. Ospreay lets off, to CHOP! The fans fire up while Konosuke goes to the corner. The ref has Ospreay hold on, and the fans fire up as Ospreay backs off. Boston sings for “Ospreay~! Ospreay Ospreay Ospreay~!” as Konosuke storms up.
Ospreay and Konosuke tie up again, and Konosuke headlocks, Ospreay powers up but Konosuke holds on tight. Ospreay fights up, fires body shots, then powers out, only for Konosuke to run him over! But Ospreay kips up! Only for Konosuke to throw him down by his hair! The fans boo but Konosuke smirks and runs. Ospreay stays low, hurdles over, but Konosuke leaps! Things keep moving, Ospreay arm-drags to have the armlock! The fans fire up for Ospreay while Konosuke fights up. Konosuke pulls hair again, the ref counts, so Konosuke whips Ospreay to ropes. Ospreay KICKS the backdrop away, then runs, but into a POP-UP- RANA!!
The fans fire up again and Ospreay feeds off that energy! Ospreay runs up and CHOPS in the corner! Then he snapmares Konosuke along the ropes, goes to the apron, and slingshot SENTONS! The fans fire up and Ospreay paces. Ospreay drags Konosuke up while the fans chant “BRUV! BRUV! BRUV!” Ospreay stands Konosuke up, but Konosuke fires a forearm. Ospreay SOBATS, whips, but Konosuke reverses. Ospreay handsprings, Konosuke lets him go up and over! Konosuke runs now, ducks ‘n’ dodges, then TAKESHITA LINES! Callis fires up, as does Boston, and Ospreay goes to a corner. Konosuke runs in, but Ospreay BOOTS first!
Ospreay goes to the apron, ROCKS Konosuke, then goes up, only for Konosuke to catch him! Fireman’s carry and FACEBUSTER! Basement BOOT! Ospreay tumbles out of the ring, and Konosuke builds speed! Konosuke FLIES, and down goes Ospreay! The fans fire up again while Dynamite goes picture in picture.
Konosuke checks his legs then crawls over to Ospreay. Konosuke drags Ospreay up, whips him hard into railing, then soaks up the cheers and jeers from Boston. The Callis cosplayer cheers Konosuke on while he puts Ospreay in the ring. Cover, TWO! Ospreay’s still in this but Konosuke clamps onto Ospreay with a chinlock. Ospreay endures, fights up, but Konosuke clinches for a RUSSIAN LEG SWEEP! Konosuke then clamps right back on with the chinlock! Ospreay endures again while Konosuke leans on the hold. Ospreay fights up, Spring Breakthru returns to single picture, and the fans rally for Ospreay again.

The fans rally up, and they hope these two “FIGHT FOREVER!” But there’s still a main event to go! Konosuke puts Ospreay in the drop zone, then climbs up the corner. But Ospreay rises to CHOP! Konosuke vows to end it here! Konosuke drags Ospreay up to SUPER- STUN DOG MILLIONAIRE!! Ospreay turns things around on Konosuke and they both go to the ramp! Springboard, OSCUTTER to the ramp!! Both men writhe while the fans lose their minds again! Callis is worried for Konosuke while Ospreay rolls back inside. The ring count is climbing, Konosuke is still down at 7 of 10! He rises at 8, crawls for the ring, and manages to roll in at 9.5! But Ospreay goes COAST2COAST! Then he goes up top, for a LEAP OF FAITH!! Cover, TWO!! Konosuke survives but Ospreay just reloads! The fans fire up as Ospreay waits on Konosuke.
Ospreay springboards, OSC- BLUE THUND- RANA!! A counter for a counter! Ospreay runs, Konosuke staggers to his feet, and into the OSCUTTER!! Cover, TWO!!! Konosuke survives and Boston is stunned! The fans again hope these two “FIGHT FOREVER!” while both men stir. Ospreay brings Konosuke up, underhooks, but Konosuke fights free of Storm Breaker! Konosuke ducks a roundhouse, double pump handles to FLIP Ospreay, but Ospreay arm-drags! Cover, TWO! Konosuke has the victory roll, TWO! Ospreay O’Conner Rolls but Konosuke rolls through to wheelbarrow GERMAN SUPLEX! And then O’Conner Bridge! TWO!!!!
The fans cannot believe it and Callis is furious, but Ospreay escapes with nanoseconds to spare! Ospreay stirs and Konosuke crawls over to him. Konosuke and Ospreay go forehead to forehead, then stand to go forearm for forearm! The fans rally and duel, they sing for “OSPREAY~, OSPREAY OSPREAY OSPREAY!” Konosuke ROCKS Ospreay, but he wobbles as he stays on his feet! Ospreay comes back to fire another forearm, but Konosuke ROCKS him again! Ospreay staggers around this time, but he grits his teeth as he fires back up! Ospreay fires a flurry of forearms, but the ALPHA ELBOW staggers Ospreay again!
Konosuke fires shots in the corner, the ref counts, and the ref has to back Konosuke down! Konosuke has the ref step aside so he can tell Ospreay to get up. Ospreay fires up to BOOT Konosuke! And BOOT! And BOOT, but Konosuke blocks! ALPHA ELBOW!! Ospreay falls in a heap and Boston is thunderous! The ref checks on Ospreay, and somehow, he isn’t out of this yet. Callis tells Konosuke to kurose, aka kill him! Konosuke drags Ospreay up, calls his shot, and RAGING- NO, Ospreay fights the suplex, wrenches free and then ducks a shot to full nelson! Konosuke elbows free but Ospreay HOOK KICKS him!
Ospreay winds up to SUPERKICK! Konosuke winds up, Ospreay SWATS the elbow to then HOOK KICK again! Konosuke drops to his knees, Ospreay prepares the arm! HIDDEN- NO, Konosuke flops right over! The fans boo but the ref checks Konosuke. Ospreay has the ref step aside like Konosuke did, but then Konosuke springs up to ALPHA ELBOW!! Konosuke was playing possum, and now he hits a BLUE THUNDER BOMB!! Cover, TWO!?!? Ospreay survives and shocks Konosuke! The fans rally as hard as they can while Konosuke rises up. Ospreay rises, Konosuke runs, but Ospreay dodges! They come back, Konosuke LARIATS, but Ospreay flips and lands on his feet!!
Ospreay springboards, OSC- ALPHA ELBOW!!! Antiair hits the target! Konosuke covers, ONE?!?! HIDDEN BLADE!!!! Cover, ONE?!?!?!? Boston is erupting, Schiavone shouts, “What’re we watching?!” Both men run up, DOUBLE LARIATS collide! Ospreay slumps down and Konosuke grins. Konosuke drags Ospreay up and reels him in, and then he underhooks the arms?! STORM- NO, Ospreay slips free, double pump handles, and he FLIPS Konosuke into position, BASTARD DRIVER!! Ospreay turns a steal into a steal! And then he deadlifts for the WHEELBARROW GERMAN!! But Konosuke HIDDEN BLADES?!?!?
Konosuke flounders, but so does Ospreay, and Ospreay avoids the cover! The fans are electric while both men are down! Callis takes a deep breath while the standing count begins. Both men stir at 4 of 10, then Ospreay reaches up at 5. Both men are still down at 7, but they’re rising at 8! We hit 9, and both men stand! The fans fire up, HELLUVA KICK in the corner!! Ospreay falls, Konosuke climbs, but Ospreay rises up again! Ospreay ROCKS Konosuke, ROCKS him again, then climbs up, only to slip! Ospreay slaps himself to focus again, and the fans fire back up. Ospreay climbs, but Konosuke fires forearms!
Konosuke throws shots, but Ospreay RISING HEADBUTTS! Boston cheers as hard as they can, and Ospreay brings Konosuke to the very top! Konosuke fires shots, and then he winds up, SUPER TAKESHITA LINE!! But Ospreay lands on his feet!! Konosuke is stunned, and then HIDDEN BLADE!!! Cover, TWO!?!?!?!? HOW?!?! Ospreay goes back to the corner, throws off the elbow pad, but a POWER DRIVE KNEE finds him! RAGING- RANA!! Cover, TWO, but Ospreay just gets Konosuke’s legs! Ospreay drags Konosuke up, STYLES CLASH!!! Cover, TWO!?!??!!? What is Konosuke even made of?!? Boston is thunderous for “A E DUB! AEW World Trios Championships: The Death Riders VS The Opps & ???
As mentioned at the start of the night, Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli & Wheeler Yuta made sure The Cold-Hearted Handsome Devil was in no shape to compete tonight. But even so, the Samoan Submission Specialist and The Wrestler will not let this opportunity at both gold and vengeance pass them by. The question is, will there be a new third man? Or will The Opps be caught lacking?
The Death Riders make their entrance in from the crowd as usual, which is pretty daring given how packed the venue is tonight. As for The Opps, we see Joe & Shibata step on stage, but they’re not alone! POWERHOUSE HOBBS IS HERE!! Will the Book of Hobbs have a chapter about ending the reign of terror? The introductions are made, but then the brawl is on! The fans fire up and the bell rings, Hobbs has Yuta, Shibata has Claudio, and Joe has Moxley! The fans fire up as Moxley spills out of the ring with Joe while Claudio drags Shibata outside. Yuta ducks ‘n’ dodges Hobbs, but then Hobbs CLOBBERS Yuta!
Claudio and Shibata trade heavy forearms, Joe SMACKS Moxley off the apron, and Hobbs whips Yuta to a corner. Yuta staggers, Hobbs CLOBBERS him again! Yuta flounders into the corner, the fans chant “MEAT! MEAT! MEAT!” Hobbs whips Yuta corner to corner, runs in and SPLASHES! Hobbs shouts, “MEAT!” and the fans chant “MEAT!” with every big lariat! “MEAT! MEAT! MEAT!” Hobbs then grins as he winds up to “MEAT!” Moxley storms in and he CLUBS Hobbs! That just pisses Hobbs off! The fans tell Moxley he messed up! Moxley bails out, but then Yuta CLUBS Hobbs! Same result as with Moxley!
Hobbs scoops Yuta, carries him around, then hits a RUNNING POWERSLAM! Hobbs tags Joe and the fans cheer. Hobbs stands Yuta up for Joe to JAB! JAB! JAB! Joe fires hands high and low, backs Yuta into a corner, then fires up! RIDGE HAND CHOP! Joe whips corner to corner, runs up, and back ELBOWS, to then PELE! Yuta flops down, Joe stares Moxley down, and fans sing, “Joe is gonna kill~ you!” Joe drags Yuta up, CHOPS him in the corner, then tags Shibata. The fans fire up again as Shibata UPPERCUTS Yuta! And again! And then CHOPS! CHOPS! CHOPS! Shibata snapmares Yuta, runs, and he BOOTS Moxley!
Shibata then clamps onto Yuta and grinds him down. Yuta endures, pries at the hold, and fans taunt Yuta. Yuta fights up, powers up and out, but Shibata BOOTS Moxley again! Yuta CLUBS Shibata, then TOSSES Shibata out. Yuta distracts the ref so Claudio can run and THROW Shibata into railing! The fans boo but Hobbs backs Claudio off. The ref has Hobbs stay back, and Yuta goes out to fetch Shibata. Yuta drags Shibata into the ring, tags Moxley, and the fans boo as Moxley flips off Joe. Joe storms in, the ref stops him, and Moxley KICKS Shibata down! Tag to Claudio, the Death Riders mug Shibata. Claudio drags Shibata up but Shibata CHOPS!
Shibata CHOPS, Claudio eggs him on, repeat! Claudio blocks a chop to short arm LARIAT! Claudio soaks up the heat, then he stomps Shibata. The fans rally, but Dynamite goes picture in picture.
Claudio drags Shibata up, pushes him to a corner, and UPPERCUTS! Claudio stomps Shibata, tags Moxley, and Moxley runs corner to corner to LARIAT! And then LARIAT! And LARIAT! Tag back to Claudio, the mugging continues, then Claudio tags Yuta. Yuta taunts Hobbs & Joe, Claudio stands Shibata up, and Yuta stomps Shibata down. The ref reprimands but Yuta hooks a leg, FISHERMAN SUPLEX! Bridging cover, TWO! Not quite perfect, but Y uta clamps onto the leg for a toehold. Shibata endures, even as Yuta twists the ankle. Yuta drops an elbow on the knee, then tags Moxley. But then Joe & Hobbs storm in!
The ref stops Joe & Hobbs, Moxley taunts them, and then Moxley drags Shibata around. Moxley stomps Shibata, turns him over, and CLAWS Shibata’s back! The ref reprimands and counts as Moxley CLAWS Shibata more! Moxley fishhooks, the ref counts again, and Moxley pushes Shibata down at 4. Moxley drags Shibata up, has a facelock, and he drags Shibata over to the corner. Tag to Claudio, the mugging continues, and Claudio brings Shibata around for a BIG suplex! Cover, TWO! Shibata stays in this but Claudio stays on him with a top wristlock. Shibata endures, fights around, but Claudio knees him low!
Claudio pushes on the wristlock and grinds Shibata back down. Spring Breakthru returns to single picture while the fans rally behind Shibata. Shibata fights up, but Claudio TOSSES him out! Moxley storms up on Shibata, but Hobbs hurries over to stop that. The ref is busy with Claudio and Moxley, which lets Marina CHOP BLOCK Hobbs! The fans boo but Marina flips them all off. Yuta drags Shibata up and into the ring for Claudio, and Claudio eggs Shibata on. Claudio SLAPS Shibata, kicks him around, but Shibata CHOPS! Claudio ROCKS Shibata! Shibata CHOPS Claudio! Repeat! Claudio shoves Shibata, catches him to a SLEEPER, but Shibata slips around to get a SLEEPER!
The fans fire up as Claudio flails! Claudio JAWBREAKERS free, Shibata staggers into the Death Rider corner, but then Shibata BOOTS Claudio! Shibata crawls away from the corner, the fans rally up, but Claudio whips Shibata back in! BOOT for Moxley! Claudio and Shibata trade forearms again, and Shibata backs Claudio down! Shibata fires a flurry, then an UPPERCUT! Shibata DECKS Yuta, but Claudio UPPERCUTS Shibata! Claudio BOOTS Shibata, but Shibata stays on his feet! Shibata clinches Claudio, BACK HEEL TRIP! The fans fire up while both men are down! Shibata and Claudio crawl, hot tags to Yuta and Joe!
Joe DECKS Yuta again and again, then atomic drops! Joe runs to BOOT Yuta down! And adds a SENTON! Cover, TWO! Yuta stays in this but Joe stays on him, only for Yuta to CLAW Joe’s eyes! Yuta runs, but into a SNAP POWERSLAM! Cover, Moxley breaks it! Moxley tags in, then he goes looking under the ring! Moxley grabs a chair! The Maniac no longer cares about winning but about using Champion’s Advantage! The ref tells Moxley to stop right there, but then WILLOW NIGHTINGALE is here! She snatches the chair from Moxley! And she flips him off! Joe BOOTS Moxley down! Yuta goes up to MISSILE DROPKICK Joe!
Shibata BOOTS Yuta! Claudio POP-UP UPPERCUTS Shibata! Hobbs SPINEBUSTERS Claudio! Moxley SHOTGUNS Hobbs! Joe is back as Moxley runs, and Moxley BOOTS Joe! Joe LARIATS Moxley! All six men are down around ringside and Boston is thunderous! Willow coaches The Opps, but now The Young Bucks walk out here? The EVPs are surely going to sway things in the Death Riders’ favor now, given they grab some chairs. But wait! Someone in the crowd snatches Matt’s chair?! IT’S SWERVE STRICKLAND! And he DECKS Matt! Nick runs up, but Swerve BOOTS him! Swerve goes up, DOUBLE KILL STOMPS for The Bucks!!
The fans are thunderous as Boston is now “Whose House?” “SWERVE’S HOUSE!” Swerve then TOSSES Matt over railing! And he TOSSES Nick onto Matt! The Bucks go tumbling away! Joe is in the corner, Moxley runs up, but Joe URENAGES him down! But Claudio UPERCUTS Joe! Shibata BOOTS Claudio! Shibata pushes Claudio out, they brawl on the ramp! SLEEPER!! Claudio is caught, Shibata sits him down, then runs to PENALTY KICK! Then back to the SLEEPER! Joe puts Moxley up top, tucks him in, but Yuta CLUBS Joe! The fans boo as Yuta fires hands, then runs, but Joe swings! Yuta ducks that to DIVE onto Hobbs, but Hobbs catches him!
Hobbs URENAGES Yuta on the desk! The desk does not break but Hobbs snarls. Marina SMACKS Hobbs with a chair!! The ref missed that but Willow didn’t! Willow runs up to LARIAT Marina!! The fans are thunderous, but Moxley drags Joe up! Underhooks and- NO, Joe wrenches out, COQUINA CLUTCH!!! Moxley is caught, and he’s RIGHT OUT! OPPS WIN!!
Winners: The Opps, by submission (NEW AEW World Trios Champions)
No more reign of terror in the trios division, this one was for Hook! Joe personally gives Hobbs the belt, the pyro goes off, and Boston is all fired up! The Death Riders retreat, and Will Ospreay leads the way as the AEW locker room comes out here to celebrate! The champagne bottles pop off and it’s a toast to The Opps, but perhaps we’re burying the lead as Joe took out THE AEW World Champion! Will Joe look to also dethrone “The One True King” and truly restore the feeling here in AEW?
My Thoughts:
An awesome episode of Dynamite here, a lot more than I expected for a themed episode. At the same time, it was a lot of tournament and big story stuff, so they were of course going to go hard. I was a little surprised by the match order, but when they kayfabe’d away Hook being out of action, it did make sense for them to push the trios title to the main event. At the same time, bringing in Hobbs as the third man, adding a lot of overbooking and tying in more story, that was a great way to dethrone the Death Riders and close out the show. Hobbs being a champion again is great for him, and I really do think they should parley this into Joe VS Moxley for the world title at Double or Nothing.
Mercedes Mone VS Athena really could’ve been a main event in itself, but it was still an awesome match even as the opener. Mone winning is fine because Boston, and while I was thinking it’d be Mone VS Athena at All In for the TBS Championship, I suppose they could swing it where it is title for title, TBS Championship and ROH Women’s Championship both on the line. I say that because I still feel like Kris Statlander could be going to All In to face Toni. A little confusing as to why we can’t just get Kris VS Hayter tomorrow night, but Mone & Harley VS Kris & Julia will still be really good. It just feels like they’re giving away the Double or Nothing match just so Mone can have matches both nights in Boston.
Very good promo from The Patriarchy with Christian Cage now being passive aggressive towards Nick Wayne. I like how Christian is taking kayfabe credit for Nick getting in the Best of the Super Juniors, and I do like Nick VS Komander for Collision. No idea if Nick wins that match or not, as it’d be a shame if Nick’s storyline is the reason Komander’s reign comes to an end. But at the same time, how great would it be for the ROH World Television Champion to be part of BOSJ and that big round robin tournament? Though at the same time, something about what Christian said certainly made it feel like Nick will lose, so maybe not.
Great match from Hurt Syndicate VS Gates of Agony, even with Kaun & Liona obviously set up to fail. MJF of course showed up, and while I figured MJF would bribe Hurt Syndicate, I didn’t think it’d be with ladies. Also I think a few, if not all, of the ladies were wrestlers. The redhead was Sloane Jacobs, if I’m not mistaken. But great stuff with Lashley intimidating Shelton into voting against MJF. I feel like MJF should reveal he has been watching the episodes back cuz he wants to keep an eye on the Hurt Syndicate’s “private” conversations, and he can call out MVP for being two-faced saying the Syndicate would just be using MJF for their own gains.
Good promo from Hangman with The Elite, and Okada was cruising for a bruising. Josh Alexander was a great Wild Card, and he has a great match with Hangman, but it made sense for Hangman to win. Alexander possibly joining Callis Family with that bit after is intriguing, but Kyle is now on top going into their semifinal match. I would think that means Hangman wins to go to Double or Nothing. Ospreay VS Konosuke was insane, it might as well have been for the Owen Hart Cup already. Great win for Ospreay, and now even if Kyle defies go home math, Ospreay VS Hangman and Ospreay VS Fletcher are both awesome choices to put on PPV.
