The Miz heads to the ring.

Phoenix has mixed reactions as the Host of WrestleMania, the Hollywood A-Lister, is here to host his show, MizTV. He welcomes us to the Most Must-See WWE Talk Show, and says the WrestleMania energy is here! Because you all will bare witness the Most Must-See Master of Ceremonies, the host of WrestleMania, HIM! And on tonight’s special WrestleMania edition of MizTV, we get to the bottom of one of the most heated rivalries in all of WWE! Welcome his guests to the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions, Becky Lynch & Lita, as well as Trish Stratus! Trish comes out first, but then here come the legend and The Man!

Fans fire up because Phoenix just entered the Big Time. They join Mix in the ring and the champs hold up the belts. Miz has the fans give it up one more time as they take their seats. Tonight, Becky goes 1v1 with Iyo Sky, so he’ll start with her. Damage CTRL has made Becky’s life a living hell, to where she’s needed back-up in the forms of two legends. But The Man usually works alone. What does it feel like to admit she can’t do it herself and had to call in reinforcements? Fans boo but Becky says that’s right, she IS The Man. Just like Miz is a man, and Phoenix, AZ knows that Miz sounds more like an insecure man with notoriously tiny balls.

Fans chant “TINY BALLS!” at Miz but he raises his hand. “They are not tiny. They are massive. Verified by my wife.” Well, must be nice to know Maryse didn’t get around much before Miz. And anyway, Miz is right that DMG CTRL have been a thorn in the side since SummerSlam. They put Becky on the shelf. made it that she couldn’t look after her child, and that it was the toughest two months of her life. She thought she ended this at WarGames, but they kept coming back like the vermin that they are. And so yes, Becky doesn’t get along with too many people. But there are two people here that she respects more than anyone. And no, Miz isn’t one of them.

So when those people fight for Becky, Becky fights for them. Fans cheer but Miz has things move along. Lita, Trish, why now? Yeah, go ahead, cheer. Fans cheer, and Miz asks why Lita & Trish made comebacks just to play back-ups. Lita says that she isn’t back-up. She’s one half of the tag team champions. But she does know that- Here comes DMG CTRL. Bayley has the mic to say that enough. Miz is “surprised” that their opponents would show up. Bayley has Miz stop, because she has something to say. And she tells Phoenix “you idiots” to shut up with the booing. The fans just boo more.

Bayley is sick and tired of hearing the three others acting like this is just another match. To DMG CTRL, this is their life. Every single step they’ve taken since SummerSlam has led here. And the legends are here acting like they still mean something, when they only meant something about 20 years ago. Well, that title on Lita’s shoulder means she means something here and now. Bayley says at one point, this would’ve been the ultimate dream match. Going up against someone she came up with in the business, and two of her heroes. Two of DMG CTRL’s heroes. But now, it is a different kind of dream. “What?!”

“I SAID IT’S A DIFFERNET KIND OF DREAM!” Not that these fans know anything, they can’t do crap! And now, the dream is to take out the top women of this division, the one that everyone brags about, and two Hall of Famers, all in the same night. And then what?! Because Bayley goes on and on but does nothing! And she has Kai & Sky, they haven’t been doing anything! Kai was a TWO TIME Tag Team Champ! Iyo is one of the greatest in NXT! And what’re they doing? NOTHING! Nothing but being lackeys! And all DMG CTRL is doing is the same old tired stuff since SummerSlam. You haven’t done anything!

We thought this was gonna end at WarGames, in a steel cage, when Becky took these titles. But it hasn’t, so it can only end at WrestleMania! Becky slams the mic down! Tensions are high ahead of Becky VS Sky, will it all explode before Hollywood?

Becky Lynch w/ Lita & Trish Stratus VS Iyo Sky w/ DMG CTRL!

Raw returns and the two rush in! Becky DECKS Sky, bumps her off buckles and stomps away! The ref counts, DMG CTRL protests and Becky lets off. Fans rally for Becky, she runs in to forearm smash! Then jump kick! Then BECKSPLODER! Becky drags Sky up again to BECKSPLODER again! Fans fire up, Sky goes to the apron, but Becky has her through the ropes, Becky fires off, SOBATS, then goes up the ropes. But DMG CTRL save Sky from the leg drop! Fans boo but the legends storm over. The ref has everyone get back., but Becky grabs Bayley’s hair! Sky DROPKICKS Becky away!

Sky hurries in, storms up and stomps Becky down in the corner. Sky lets off, but then digs both boots in. The ref counts, Sky lets off to SWINGING KNEE DROP! Becky flounders, Sky pushes her to a cover, ONE! Sky clamps on with a chinlock and she grinds Becky down. Fans rally as Becky endures the knee in her back. Becky fights up, arm-drags free, but Sky DROPKICKS Becky down! Bayley is fired up and Sky covers, TWO! Sky throws down forearms, then gives toying kicks. Sky taunts the champion and throws forearms. Becky fires back, and the two trade shots! They go faster and faster and fans fire up!

Becky gets the edge, UPPERCUTS, runs, but Sky follows to SHOTEI! Becky staggers and Sky whips her to ropes. Becky comes back with BIG forearms! Both women are down, Lita & Trish coach Becky. The fans rally back up, Becky and Sky head for each other. Becky ROCKS Sky, ELBOWS her, then BOOTS her from the corner! Becky runs to LARIAT! And again! And then CALF KICK! Sky bails out but Becky kips up. Becky runs to WRECK Sky with a dropkick! Becky goes to the apron, leaps, FLYING FOREARM! Kai & Bayley coach Sky but Becky puts her back in. Sky shoulders in, but into KICKS!

Becky goes up the corner again, but Sky slips out of the ropes. Becky leaps over Sky, catches Sky, but Sky fights the clinch! Sky scoops, Becky slips free, REVERSE DDT! Cover, TWO! Fans fire up with Becky and Sky rises. Becky reels her in, MAN- NO, wheelbarrow, STOMP 182! Cover, TWO! Becky survives and Sky can’t believe it, but Raw goes to break.

Raw returns again and Becky hits a SUPERPLEX!! Cover, TWO!! Sky survives and Phoenix is fired up! Becky rises first, she throws hands on Sky, then goes after an arm. Sky powers out, waistlocks, and GERMAN SUPLEXES! Sky drags Becky back up, another GERMAN SUPLEX! Bridging cover, TWO!! Sky is shocked, Bayley & Kai coach her on. Sky drags Becky up, underhooks the arms, but Becky fights the lift. Becky wrenches out, ROCKS Sky, then hits a BECKSPLODER! Becky hurries to a corner, climbs up, and Phoenix fires up. But Sky rises, only to get a BOOT! Becky reels Sky in but Sky throws hands!

Sky springboards to DORPKICK Becky to the floor! Then she goes out to ASAI MOONSAULT! Down goes Becky at the ramp! Sky puts Becky in, covers, TWO! Sky grows frustrated but fans say “This is Awesome!” Sky pushes Becky to the drop zone and goes up top. OVER THE MOON- FLOP! Becky dodges, goes for an arm, but Sky rolls her! TWO and Becky drags Sky into a cradle! TWO! MANHANDLE SLAM!! High stack, Becky wins!!

Winner: Becky Lynch, by pinfall

One half of the champs stands tall all on her own! DMG CTRL is salty, but will they turn things around come WrestleMania?

The Bloodline arrives backstage.

Solo Sikoa leads the way, for his brothers, the Usos, and the Wise Man, Paul Heyman. Heyman has a sinister grin on his face, what will the Bloodline have in store for the American Nightmare this close to WrestleMania?

Raw takes a closer look at Asuka.

Corey Graves says that he had some prior knowledge of her dominance in Japan, but once she arrived in NXT, she was a gamechanger. Zelina Vega remembers watching Asuka and thinking, “This woman is scary.” Her undefeated streak in NXT, Kevin Owens says “she was like a buzzsaw, and it wasn’t long until she was Champion.” NXT TakeOver: Dallas began the Asuka Era in NXT, and she ran through the rest of the roster, and even the main roster. Lita says that is a huge accolade. The longest streak of male or female superstars at 914 DAYS. Molly Holly says that going YEARS undefeated, that’s just showing she’s in a class all by herself.

Charlotte Flair looks at Asuka and is in awe. She can do it all. The Women’s Royal Rumble, the Women’s Money in the Bank, the Elimination Chamber, WWE Women’s Grand Slam, and certainly one of the most feared women in WWE today. MVP says Asuka prevails because the mind games are the X-factor Bianca Belair hasn’t seen and isn’t prepared for. IS the EST ready for the Empress of Tomorrow? Or will her one-year reign be ruined at WrestleMania?

Raw shares footage from after last week’s episode went off the air.

Cathy Kelley caught up to Logan Paul backstage and asked about what happened. “Here’s your answer: I beat Seth Rollins again. And I’m gonna beat him at WrestleMania on April 1st, on my birthday, best birthday ever.” And then he goes on shouting that Rollins better watch out!

Backstage with Seth Rollins in the present.

Cathy now has The Visionary as he’s coming in, and he says Cathy is his favorite. What’s she got? Well, Logan has sucker punched him not once but twice. Anything left to say before the match at Mania? Rollins just frowns. And Mustafa Ali walks over. He explains that since Rollins has nothing nice to say, he’s not gonna say anything at all. Rollins looks at Ali and Ali is just trying to help Rollins ese the positive side to Logan Paul knocking him out. Twice. Listen, Logan and his crew had no idea who you even were before the Royal Rumble. And now… Logan and his millions of fans, they can’t wait to see if he’s gonna land another one of those lucky punches at WrestleMania.

Honestly, Rollins should be grateful. Think more positive-Ali. HAHAHAHAHA! Rollins likes that! Good pun! Genius, put it on a shirt, Ali deserves a prize! Any prizes? Maybe Rollins can get his guy to help Ali’s drip game. Or, no, wait! Even better! Remember when Rollins was US Champion and Ali was begging him for a match? Well, yeah, but that was a long time ago. Yeah, but good things come to those who wait. Ali’s night is tonight! Rollins VS Ali, positive-Ali beautiful! That’s not… Um… Well, Ali’s stepped in it, will he be able to survive an angry Architect?

Seth Rollins VS Mustafa Ali!

Raw returns and Rollins makes his entrance. Fans sing “OH~ OHH~ OHHH~!” Ali is already in the ring and is trying to ask for mercy. Rollins enjoys the singing for a moment before he takes off the jacket. The bell rings and Ali again tries to reason with Rollins. Rollins throws Ali to a corner, but Ali goes up and over and again wants Rollins to think calmly. Rollins rushes in, Ali slips to the apron, shoulders in, goes up and over and ROCKS Rollins! Ali says if he was Logan, he would’ve knocked Rollins out. Rollins still rushes in., Ali headlocks, but Rollins powers out. Ali goes up and over, ducks ‘n’ dodges, but Rollins CLOBBERS him!

Fans fire up while Ali flounders. Fans sing as Rollins stomps away on Ali in the corner, but the ref counts. Rollins lets off at 4 and fans fire up more. But then Ali YANKS Rollins into buckles! Ali goes up the corner, but Rollins ROLLING ELBOWS the legs out! And then ROLLING ELBOWS Ali in the back! Ali falls into the Tree of Woe and fans cheer. Ali wants mercy, but he gets an UPSIDE-DOWN CURB STOMP!! Ali flops out of the Tree, fans fire up as Rollins aims again, and he hits a proper CURB STOMP!! Cover, Rollins wins!

Winner: Seth Rollins, by pinfall

Ali’s positive attitude and negative comments got him a zero sum, but Rollins has something to say. “In five days, April 1st, night one of WrestleMania, I finally get my hands on Logan Paul. And Logan Paul, he’s got a history of making a joke out of himself. But me level with you. If I can’t beat Logan Paul at WrestleMania, he’s not the joke, I am.” Fans boo but Rollins says Logan threw Rollins out of the Rumble, cost him at the Elimination Chamber, and cheap-shotted him not once but twice. “And in five days, it all… comes… back… AROUND!”

And April 1st just happens to be Logan’s birthday? Logan, Logan, Logan, the WWE Universe at WrestleMania, they will be serenading you all night long. But it won’t be Happy Birthday! Phoenix, give Logan a taste of what Logan’s gonna hear at WrestleMania! “Sing that damn song!” “OH~ OHH~ OHHH~!” Rollins tells Logan, “I’ll see you at WrestleMania. HAHAHA!” The Visionary is ready to #BurnItDown, will this go from the best birthday to the worst birthday ever for the ImPAULsive Influencer?

Baron Corbin talks with Adam Pearce.

Rick Boogs challenged Corbin, Corbin is trying to get out of a slump he’s been in, and then there’s WrestleMania. Corbin has NO WrestleMania match and that’s embarrassing. He’s doing signings, media, meet ‘n’ greets, all about it! He used to run this show and Pearce has to give Corbin a break. And then Chelsea Green walks in. She would like a moment ot break her foot off in Pearce’s behind! Pearce says that’s real classy. But he tells Corbin that he and Boogs can have it out in the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal on Friday Night SmackDown. Now, excuse him for a moment.

Chelsea says she needs to know why she is NOT in the Women’s Tag Team Showcase. Because you don’t have a partner! Piper Niven no longer wants anything to do with her, but listen. Pearce has been working- NO, do not mansplain her. But then Sonya Deville walks in and says she couldn’t have said it better herself. The problem with Pearce is that Sonya did this job better than him, and that intimidated him. In fact, he might just be intimidated by strong women. Pearce would like to finish what he was saying. he looked at the roster, he was thinking about who could be in the Women’s Tag Team Showcase, and it struck him: Chelsea & Sonya.

They’re a bit surprised but he says yes, they can be a team. Call yourselves “The Complaint Department” or “Misery Loves Company” or whatever you want. But if they want in the match, they have to win against Mia Yim & Candice LeRae. The winner will be the fourth and final team in the Women’s Tag Team Showcase. Okay? Sonya says Pearce isn’t usually this smart but this is brilliant. So they’re okay with it? Yes, first thing he’s done right. Fine, does he at least get his office back? Chelsea & Sonya leave, Corbin steps back in and says, “Seriously?” Pearce sighs and leaves. Will Michin & The Poison Pixie ruin the hopes of the Hot Mess & Jersey Deville?

Corey Graves & Adam Pearce are in the ring.

Corey welcomes us to the official weigh-in for what is literally one of the biggest match at WrestleMania. So first, accompanied by MVP, it is the Nigerian Giant, OMOS! Omos makes his entrance with MVP right behind him. Omos enters the ring and then MVP takes the mic from Corey to take it from here. Fans boo but MVP says, “Before we are joined by the Beast Incarnate, I’d like to remind everyone that this one final opportunity for all of you–and for you, Brock Lesnar–to see the specimen that is the Nigerian Giant.

“You see, Brock, I will give you credit because I respect you immensely. Brock Lesnar, many times, you have stepped in this ring at previous WrestleManias and you have imposed your will and conquered some of the greatest that this business has ever seen. People like the great Kurt Angle. People like Goldberg. People like… Roman Reigns.” But MVP would be amiss if he didn’t mention the ‘crowning achievement: ending the streak at WrestleMania of the Undertaker.” But unlike all of those men, Omos is a GIANT. Lesnar can’t suplex him, he can’t F5 him, and at Mania, Lesnar will NOT defeat him!

So Omos, if you would, please. Omos steps on the scale, and the scales are adjusted. The final call is: 410 pounds! Lesnar’s a bad man, but he ain’t badder than Omos! But wait, here comes Lesnar! Lesnar takes off his hat to wave at the fans, then he fires off his pyro. Lesnar goes to the ring, taking off his denim vest and putting his hat aside. Lesnar enters the ring, looks Omos up and down, then ATTACKS! Omos stays up, Lesnar RAMS Omos again, then again! Omos staggers, Lesnar has the scale! But Omos BOOTS Lesnar down! Omos roars, MVP says to finish it! Lesnar gets away as Omos grabs the scale!

Omos shouts, “This is MY house!” Fans chant “SUPLEX CITY!” but Lesnar hasn’t had a chance to do even one suplex. Lesnar has things cool off, and we already know he isn’t close to 410 pounds. But will Lesnar prove that the bigger they are, the harder they fall?

Raw takes a closer look at Charlotte Flair.

Charlotte Flair says herself that this is her destiny. This is her birthright. This is her continuing the greatest legacy in professional wrestling. In total, a FOURTEEN-TIME Women’s Champion, and is ready to main event WrestleMania on April 1st against Rhea Ripley. The Queen vows to put Rhea in her place once and for all.

Backstage interview with Rhea Ripley.

Byron Saxton is with the challenger to Charlotte Flair, how does Rhea respond to Charlotte saying she’ll continue her storied legacy by winning at Mania? There is no denying how great Charlotte’s legacy is. But we don’t need to be reminded that she’s a 14-time women’s champion. Her legacy is unmatched, but it will not define Rhea. Rhea must beat Charlotte, she must prove she is the best, and she must become the biggest star in this industry. And Rhea needs Charlotte’s title to do so. It comes down to Charlotte’s legacy against Rhea’s destiny. And Charlotte can’t stop Rhea from becoming the NEW SmackDown Women’s Champion.

Finn Balor speaks.

“Edge. It was always gonna be this way, wasn’t it? You and I, dragging each other to the lonely wicked structure inside Hell in a Cell. Now you, you are familiar with the Cell. You say you thrive in the Cell. You ay you were baptized int he Cell. And now, you wanna lock yourself inside of the Cell with me. Don’t you know there is nothing more dangerous than a caged demon? So Edge, go to your dark place. Light your candles. Do whatever it is you need to do to unlock it, to summon it. But just remember: I don’t summon my demons. My demons are always here. You just have to look closely.” Finn is ready to bring out his dark side, will he use it to devour Edge’s soul?

8 Man Tag: Ricochet, Braun Strowman & The Street Profits VS The Alpha Academy & The Viking Raiders!

Ahead of the Men’s Tag Team Showcase Fatal 4 Way, it’s a 4v4! Will the King of Flight, the Monster of All Monsters, Angelo Dawkins & Montez Ford take the lead roles going into Hollywood? Or will Chad Gable, Otis, Erik & Ivar be the ones in the spotlight?

Raw returns as “SHOOOSH! Shoosh, please.” Gable & Otis make their entrance first, then Erik & Ivar make theirs, “Valhalla” Sarah Logan guiding them. The teams sort out, and Gable starts against Dawkins. They circle, tie up, and Dawkins wrenches an arm. Gable rolls, wrenches and headlocks to a takeover. Dawkins headscissors, Gable kips free, roles reverses and Gable kips out of headscissors. The two stare down and fans fire up. “We Want The Smoke! We Want The Smoke!” Gable says “SHOOSH!” and circles with Dawkins. They tie up, Dawkins headlocks but Gable powers out, only for Dawkins to run him over.

Things keep moving, Dawkins hurdles then whips, but Gable waistlocks and gator rolls! Dawkins gets free, things keep moving, Ricochet tags in before Gable hurdles and Dawkins cartwheels! Dawkins arm-drags, Gable arm-drags, and Dawkins bails out! “A thank yew!” Ricochet runs in, rolls and handsprings, but into an ANKLE LOCK! But Ricochet rolls to throw Gable away, and he DROPKICKS Gable down! Tag to Braun! Braun helps Ricochet, RAILGUN BODY CHECK! Then Braun adds a SPALSH! Feed to the ENZIGURI, LARIAT! Fans fire up with Braun, but Ford tags in. Ford also flexes but Braun isn’t amused.

Ford slingshots in but Gable arm-drags! Ford arm-drags, Gable arm-drags, repeat! Gable trips, covers, ONE! Ford trips, covers, ONE! Ford bobs ‘n’ weaves to BACKHAND! But Gable CLOBBERS Ford! “SHOOOSH~!” Fans boo and Ford’s team steps up. Gable’s team steps up, too, and fans fire up! The ref says no, but it’s an EIGHT MAN BRAWL! Braun throws out Gable, Erik and Ricochet fall out, Otis throws out Ford and Ivar throws out Dawkins! And now we have the three biggest men! Fans are loving this! Ivar swings on Braun but Braun DECKS Ivar! Otis CLOBBERS Braun out of the ring!!

Ford LEAPS in, but into a WORLD’S STRONGEST SLAM!! Otis and Gable celebrate while fans boo, and Raw goes to break.

Raw returns again and Erik has Ford in a headlock. Ford fights up, but Erik throws him down! Erik sits Ford up, has a chinbar neck wrench but Ford endures. Ford fights up, pries free of the hold, but Erik knees low! Tag to Ivar and the Vikings mug Ford against the ropes! Fans boo but the Vikings let off. Gable also gloats on their behalf, but Ivar tags Erik back in. Erik feeds Ford to Ivar’s KNEE! Ivar feeds Ford to Erik’s KNEE! Cover, TWO! Ford survives but Erik drags Ford over. Otis tags in, Erik hands off Ford and Otis CLOBBERS Ford! Maxxine Dupri is watching backstage, she is very pleased as Otis tears off his shirt.

Otis gets the truffle shuffle going, runs and ELBOW DROPS! “Maxxine, I’m here, baby!” Gable wants Otis to focus and he drags Ford up. Ford mule kicks! And front kicks! But Otis CLOBBERS Ford again! Otis looms over Ford and says, “Who’s the man!?” Otis drags Ford up, but Ford wrenches and ENZIGURIS! Otis wobbles and Ford crawls! Otis shakes out the cobwebs, hot tags to Dawkins and Ivar! Dawkins rallies on the other team, but Ivar kicks low! Ivar whips, Dawkins hurdles, FLYING ELBOW! Fans fire up for the CYCLONE SPLASH! And ENZIGURI! Ivar wobbles, Gable gets in, Dawkins DECKS Gable!

But Ivar DECKS Dawkins! Tag to Erik, SPLASH and FOREARM and then a LARIAT! Cover, Ricochet breaks it with a STANDING SHOOTING STAR! Ivar gets in, into an ENZIGURI! Ricochet triangle jump DROPKICKS Otis! Ricochet hurdles Gable, Dawkins DECKS Gable!! Fans fire up, Dawkins hurries, hot tag to Braun! And he gets on the tracks! The Strowman Express DERAILS Otis! And then Gable! And then Ivar! Erik ROCKS Braun at the ropes, Ace Ten Maou!! Erik runs, into a SPINEBUSTER! Braun rips off his shirt and fans are thunderous! Tag to Ricochet, then scoop! MONSTER SLAM!

Ricochet gets on Braun’s shoulders, for a MONSTER SWANTON!! And then Ford tags in, FROM THE HEAVENS!! Cover, Ford’s team wins!

Winners: Ricochet, Braun Strowman & The Street Profits, by pinfall

A HUGE team up, a HUGE victory! But will either of these dynamic duos be the winners of the Fatal 4 Way?

As for Maxxine, she does not like that Gable & Otis are still sticking together. Will she find a way to break Otis away from Gable and the Academy?

Backstage interview with Cody Rhodes.

Cathy is with the American Nightmare, and asks that with his Mania match just days away, is accepting a match with Solo Sikoa puts him in a “vulnerable position?” Cody lives for this position. He understands, though, because Solo is undefeated, like Cody. Hasn’t been pinned, hasn’t been submitted. Now if Roman Reigns and Mr. Heyman were here, you’d ask them if they think Cody has a chance of making it through tonight and winning at WrestleMania. They’d surely cackle maniacally in their Samoan Goodfellas aesthetic.

But Cody would follow up and say, “Why is it so important, Mr. Heyman, that I wrestle the enforcer of the Bloodline, and he always has an enforcer, six days away from the big one?” It’s because they know. They know the answer to the question people are asking: Has Cody Rhodes earned it? Has he? The fire didn’t start when he came back at AT&T Stadium. That’d be a disservice to where Cody’s been and where he’s gone. This started long before that. This fire isn’t going out. Cody hasn’t just earned it, he’s lived it!

“Tonight, Solo Sikoa finds out he’s not ready. And at WrestleMania, I defeat Roman Reigns and become the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion.” Cody is ready, but will the Bloodline look to ruin his Hollywood story?

Raw takes a closer look at Bianca Belair.

Liv Morgan says, “There’s nothing Bianca can’t do.” She remembers the first day Bianca was in the Performance Center, and from the first moment, it was clear they had a star. Corey Graves says, “When we talk about superstars in this business having ‘it,’ that sort of indefinable, intangible quality, Bianca exemplifies it.” The strongEST, the fastEST, the roughEST, the toughEST. Montez Ford could go on for days about how excited he is for his wife, and the dominance has been second to none. Beth Phoenix says it is special for her to see this generation having great role models, like Bianca Belair.

Bianca has been on radio, television, talk shows, sports shows, awards shows, and still has energy for the ring. Molly Holly is so proud of what Bianca’s accomplished. She’s got something special. Cody Rhodes knows Bianca’s year long dominance is legit. Kevin Owens says that between Bianca’s abilities and Asuka’s mind games, that is a must-see match. But then, who will be the RawEST Women’s Champion after WrestleMania?

Austin Theory speaks.

Earlier today, when there was no one in the arena, Theory said that at WrestleMania Saturday, he loses everything. “According to you, John Cena. But that’s where you’re wrong.” For some reason, Cena thinks he’s exposed Theory on the mic. No, he exposed himself. Cena showed himself that the one thing Cena can’t see is the future right in front of his eyes. Theory says it’s like Cena was hitting Theory with a reality check that no one believes in him. Not even him, THE John Cena. But Cena must be wondering why Theory’s here all alone. It’s simple. There’s no difference between an empty arena or a sold out SoFi Stadium.

Because Theory doesn’t do this for the fans. he doesn’t do it for a fan who wants to be the next Austin Theory> And he doesn’t do it to be the next John Cena. Theory does this for Theory. Theory does this because he had a purpose way before anyone had an opinion. “It’s sad. It’s so sad to know that I would’ve let you go down the hero.” But Cena made it personal. Theory knows a lot of people… Hell, everyone looks up to Cena. But it’ll be so fitting that Cena will be looking up at Theory. And that’s not a theory, because Theory will make Cena believe in Austin Theory. And the WWE Universe that Cena loves so much, they will stop believing in Cena.

And that’ll happen on the Grandest Stage of Them All, this Saturday at WrestleMania. Theory looks to the sign in silence, but will there be an uproar when he manages to defeat the living legend to start the Showcase of the Immortals?

The WWE Hall of Fame has legs!

That is to say, Stacy Kiebler is being inducted as part of this year’s class!

WrestleMania Women’s Tag Team Showcase Qualifier: Mia Yim & Candice LeRae VS Chelsea Green & Sonya Deville!

#Michin and the Poison Pixie have teamed before, but this is their biggest opportunity as a team yet! Will they clean up the Hot Mess and go on to WrestleMania? Or will all the complaints and criticisms turn into celebration for Chelsea & Sonya?

Raw returns and Candice & Mia make their entrance. The teams sort out and Sonya starts against Mia. They circle, tie up, and Sonya pulls hair. Sonya puts Mia in the corner, the ref counts, and Sonya lets off at 4. Sonya pie faces Mia, fans boo, but Sonya taunts Mia. Mia storms up, blocks a punch and fires off forearms! Mia whips, runs and then redirects to DROPKICK Sonya! Fans fire up and Sonya flounders to a corner. Mia runs in to BOOT Sonya down! Chelsea complains but Mia chases her off. Mia runs in but the CANNONBALL gets buckles! Sonya drags Mia up and bumps her off buckles.

Tag to Chelsea, Sonya fires off kicks and then Chelsea SLAPS! Chelsea digs her boot in, tags Sonya, and Sonya fires body shots. Tag back to Chelsea, she and Sonya bring Mia out to double suplex. They stall, but Mia uses that to turn things into a DOUBLE NECKBREAKER! Fans fire up, Mia crawls, hot tag to Candice! Candice goes up top and DOUBLE CROSSBODIES! Fans fire up, Candice fires off on Chelsea but Chelsea gets around. Chelsea ripcords, Candice dodges and CLOBBERS Chelsea! Then back body block in the corner! Snapmare, STEP-UP SENTON! Tag to Mia, she and Candice combine, WHEELBARROW VICTORY SPLASH! Cover, Sonya breaks it!

Candice swings on Sonya, but Sonya spins her around and ELBOW DROP DDTS! But Mia runs in to SHOTGUN Sonya down! Fans fire up but Chelsea runs in. Mia dodges, waistlocks, but Chelsea switches. Mia bucks the O’Conner, but Sonya sucker punches her! Chelsea chicken wings for the UNPRETTIER! Cover, Chelsea & Sonya win!

Winners: Chelsea Green & Sonya Deville, by pinfall

Fans boo but there’s nothing they can do about it now! Will there be nothing the other three teams can do when these two migraine makers hit Hollywood?

Backstage interview with Paul Heyman.

Cathy asks the Special Counsel his response to Cody’s words from earlier. Heyman says, “Ye, though he walks through the shadow of the Island of Relevancy, Cody Rhodes fears no Tribal Chief, because Cody Rhodes is. Not. Ready. He proved it just a few minutes ago, when he asked what had to be a rhetorical question. Why is it so important that he fight Solo six days before Cody Rhodes is in his first WrestleMania main event? It’s not important, it’s relevant. And here’s why it’s so relevant. Because Solo is ready… to weaken Cody Rhodes for his match against Roman Reigns.

“Solo is not here to compete. Solo is here to put a beating on Cody Rhodes so that Cody Rhodes is not at 100% against Roman Reigns this Sunday. And if you’re saying, ‘Well that’s not very dignified of Roman Reigns as champion.’ Well, Roman Reigns is ready to stoop to those depths, and rise to those occasions, and get any advantage that he can to remain Tribal Chief on the Island of Relevancy. And that, Cathy, is the difference between Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes. Roman Reigns came to his Wise Man and said, ‘Wise Man, I’m ready.’ And so Roman Reigns was ready to stop being the Big Dog and became the Tribal Chief.

“But this is the same Cody Rhodes we’ve known our entire lives. With those big puppy dog eyes, looking at his hero, Roman Reigns, across the ring Sunday night at WrestleMania, because Cody Rhodes has never been ready. Cody Rhodes was never ready to fill the shoes of the American Dream, Dusty Rhodes. Cody Rhodes was never ready to be the man of this generation. Cody Rhodes is not ready to defeat your Tribal Chief, Roman Reigns, this Sunday at WrestleMania. Cody Rhodes needs to be ready to take the beating that will be inflicted upon him by Solo tonight.

“And then, Cody Rhodes will have to take the emotional baggage that Roman Reigns will dump on him this Friday face to face on SmackDown, so that when Cody Rhodes enters the ring on Sunday night, the only thing he’s going to be ready for is to lose to Roman Reigns. And then Cody Rhodes, I implore you, be ready for the greatest moment of your entire existence. When in the glory of your own defeat, when you’ve disappointed the WWE Universe, be ready to ACKNOWLEDGE your Tribal Chief, Roman Reigns, in the main event this Sunday of WrestleMania.” Heyman claims Solo is ready, but will he be shocked in tonight’s main event?

Rey Mysterio VS Damian Priest w/ Dominik Mysterio!

You can insult a man all you want, but if you insult his wife, that’s a different story! The King of Lucha Libre finally smacked the smug smile off his son’s face on Friday night, and they’re going to have a WrestleMania match after all! But will the Judgment Day’s Punisher break Rey before Dom has to face what’s coming to him?

Raw returns and fans boo as Dom has the mic. “Dad. It takes a real lowlife to hit your own child. I thought you were a deadbeat then. Now, you really are a deadbeat! Everyone saw the video of you attacking me. And after Damian beats  you tonight and I humiliate you at WrestleMania, everyone here will really know what a failure of a father you really are! Someone roll the footage!” A replay of what went down on SmackDown plays, where Rey said no, but Dom had to push it by dragging his mother and sister into this. Dom told his mom to shut up, and Rey DECKED Dom! Dom rants in Spanish about his mom ignoring the truth and his sister not knowing anything.

Fans chant “YOU SUCK!” as Dom says “What kind of father hits his own son? What kind of mother sits there and does nothing?” Dom should’ve said all that a long time ago! Fans still boo and chant “YOU SUCK!” but Dom tells his dad that he’s never said this out loud, but he DOES wish Eddie was his real father! And that Rey never EXISTED! Because Dom’s entire family is a disgrace to the Mysterio name! And the Mysterio name will be HIS after WrestleMania! Dom’s rant ends, and Rey makes his entrance. Rey is keeping his cool, but will he explode before WrestleMania? We see, after the break.

Raw returns again and the match is underway. Rey headlocks but Priest powers out, only for Rey to kick him back. Rey then ducks, dodges, and wheelbarrows, to BULLDOG! Fans fire up but Dom shouts at Priest to get up. Rey goes to the apron while Priest slowly stands. Rey climbs the corner, leaps in, and SEATED SENTONS! Rey keeps moving, he slides past Priest to dropkick the legs out! Rey KICKS Damian down and fans fire up. Rey runs to LIONSAULT! Cover, TWO! Priest and Rey both stand up, but Rey whips. Priest blocks, Rey CLUBS Priest then runs, ducks ‘n’ dodges, but springboards into Priest’s arms!

Priest swings Rey around, COMPLETE SHOT! Cover, TWO! Fans rally as Rey is still in this. Priest looms over Rey and wants him to stand up. Fans rally for Rey, that annoys Dom, but Priest runs in, only for the leg to get caught up on the top rope! Rey then CLUBS Priest down onto the ropes! Rey dials it up, but Priest LARIATS first!! Cover, TWO!! Priest and Dom are furious that Rey survives! Priest drags Rey up, RAMS him into a corner, then hoists him up top. Fans rally, Priest CLUBS Rey then climbs up after him. Priest choke grips, but Rey throws back hands and elbows! Rey then stands up, to SUPER STEINER!

Priest flounders up, Rey dropkicks him onto ropes! Rey redials, for the 619!! Priest is down and Rey goes up! But then Dom trips Rey up!

Winner: Rey Mysterio, by disqualification

Fans boo but Dom drags Rey off the corner and rains fists down! Dom roars as the fans boo, but Dom has Priest drag Rey up. They mug Rey, but wait! LEGADO DEL FANTASMA is here! Santos Escobar, Cruz Del Toro & Joaquin Wilde run Priest & Dom off! Will Dom lie, cheat and ultimately steal the Mysterio legacy away from his father?

Raw looks back at Andre the Giant.

“Larger than life. Unmatched in power. Andre the Giant towered over the competition with a nearly 15 year undefeated streak.” Jerry Lawler says that no matter where Andre went, people came to see him. Hulk Hogan says there was just “something magical” about Andre. The first-ever inductee to the WWE Hall of Fame, he holds the record for most career battle royal eliminations. And in 2014, WWE began the Andre the Giant Battle Royal. It is a tradition that brings the same awe and excitement that Andre himself brought to the ring. This Friday Night SmackDown, who makes their mark on history in the ninth annual memorial battle royal?

The list of participants is in the back.

Bobby Lashley, Johnny Gargano, Dexter Lumis, Rick Boogs, Dolph Ziggler, Elias, Mustafa Ali, Xavier Woods, Madcap Moss, Baron Corbin, Bronson Reed, Karrion Kross, LA Knight, Cedric Alexander, Shelton Benjamin, Mace, Mansoor, Top Dolla, Ashante THEE Adonis, Ridge Holland, “Butch” Pete Dunne, Angel Garza, Humberto Carrillo, Santos Escobar, Joaquin Wilde, Cruz Del Toro and… The Good Brothers, Karl Anderson & Luke Gallows! Bingo! Payday! Gargano says Friday Night SmackDown, NXT Stand & Deliver Saturday and WrestleMania ALL weekend, this is gonna be crazy!

Gargano, lead us tot he dojo. Uh, okay. Maybe this way? Sure. Boogs walks up and is so excited! Elias asks why? Boogs is in the battle royal! Sweet! Just like Elias. And Elias has a great feeling. Take notes, because Elias is a lock to win. But then he turns around to see Lumis. Well, nice gloves. And then he turns around to see Bronson Reed. Sorry, didn’t see you there. See you Friday, though. But then Elias bumps into the All Mighty! Elias is a lock to win, huh? Y-yeah… Lashley pats Elias on the shoulder and says, “See you Friday.” Boogs says this is gonna be SUPER! Is it, though? Or will a true giant win the Andre the Giant Battle Royal?

Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn speak.

Sami starts by saying, “I’d say it’s been a pretty emotional year. After everything that’s happened between us and the Usos, and everything else, we’re now finding ourselves less than a week away from the biggest tag team championship match of all time. And a huge part of why this is so emotional for us is also the fact that it’s happening in Los Angeles, because there’s a big part of the story there that not everybody knows. Yeah, everybody knows Sami Zayn & Kevin Owens started in Montreal, from nothing. Nothing! But Los Angeles is the city where we first got our big break. That is where we made our names, that is where we truly became a team.

“And now, after all these years, after everything that’s happened with us, it all comes full circle and we walk back into Los Angeles as a team.” Kevin says, “Because every fight we’ve ever been in, every fight we’ve had together, every fight we’ve had alongside each other, has been about getting our careers to the next level. Going forward, going upwards, getting bigger and better things. But this weekend, it doesn’t get any better, it doesn’t get any bigger. Biggest tag team match of all time? You’re right. It’s us against the Usos, the longest reigning tag team champions of all time. The best team in WWE.

“And that was true up until last week, because this weekend, we get to show The Usos, we get to show The Bloodline, we get to show the world, what we can do as a team, and we get to do it in Los Angeles, the city where we got our first big break! And in that city, we are going to achieve the biggest thing we can achieve together, when we become WWE Undisputed Tag Team Champions, and we’re doing it at WrestleMania!” Kevin & Sami are fired up, will they be the ones to finally dethrone Jimmy & Jey?

GUNTHER w/ Imperium VS ???

Despite Der Ring General wanting only one challenger for his Intercontinental Championship at WrestleMania, he made a miscalculation in his plans and now has two! Will Gunther be 100% before taking on Drew McIntyre AND Sheamus? Or will whoever his opponent is find a way to do some damage?

Raw returns and Gunther’s opponent is… Dolph Ziggler! The Showoff has been Intercontinental Champion many times before, will he show he can still get to that level?

The bell rings, and Ziggler DROPKICKS Gunther! And SATELLITE DDTS! Fans fire up, Ziggler aims again, and Gunther stands into haymakers! SUPER- NO, Gunther blocks the kick to CHOP Ziggler off his feet! Gunther drags Ziggler up, UPPERCUTS him to a corner, then drags Ziggler up to put him on the top rope. Gunther CHOPS Ziggler, then climbs up to STAND on Ziggler! The ref reprimands and counts, fans boo, but Gunther lets off at 4. Ziggler flops out of the ring, Gunther stands tall in the corner, and Raw goes to break.

Raw returns again and Gunther has Ziggler down with a chinlock. Ziggler fights up, throws body shots, then haymakers and forearms! Fans fire up, Ziggler HEADBUTTS, then he dodges a lariat to kick and FAMOUSER! Cover, TWO! Gunther crawls to a corner, stands up, and Ziggler jumps! But Gunther bucks the Zigzag! Ziggler runs back in, into a CHOP!! Gunther then drags Ziggler up for a GERMAN SUPLEX! And then Gunther drags Ziggler up to bring him around, for a GENERAL BOMB!! Gunther doesn’t end it there, though, as he drags Ziggler back up! For the scoop and LAST SYMPHONY! Cover, Gunther!

Winner: Gunther, by pinfall

The Intercontinental Champion didn’t need to do more damage, he wanted to do more damage. But Gunther then gets the mic to call out Sheamus and McIntyre. “Despite the disgrace of being forced to defend MY Intercontinental Championship against both of you… Have a look. Because this is the fate that awaits you at WrestleMania!” Will brutality be the melody of this Triple Threat of titans?

Cody Rhodes VS Solo Sikoa w/ Paul Heyman!

Fans sing for The American Nightmare and the pyro goes off, Cody is more than ready for this Monday Night Raw main event. But will he survive this fight with the Street Champion before taking on THE champion on WrestleMania Sunday? Or will the story he wants to finish meet a tragic ending right here?

Raw returns again and fans fire up with the bell. They rally behind Cody as he ties up with Solo. Cody headlocks, Solo powers out and they RAM shoulders. Solo dares Cody to try again, and Cody does run, but he slides under to kick low and drop for the RHODES UPPERCUT! But Solo UPPERCUTS right back! Cody staggers to a corner, Solo runs in but Cody dodges to DROPKICK! Cody fires off haymakers and forearms, runs, but Solo hits a SAMOAN DROP! It was more a toss, really, but either way, Solo stalks Cody out of the ring. Solo SMACKS Cody off the apron, then talks trash. “Who’s not ready, huh?”

Solo whips, Cody reverses, and Solo hits the steel steps! Cody hurries after Solo, they get in the ring, and Cody drags Solo to a corner. Cody ROCKS Solo, then SLAMS the bad leg against the post! Solo crawls, Cody slides in, and Cody runs to springboard and- Clinch! BELLY2BELLY! Solo snarls as he stands back up, and he watches Cody bail out. Solo smacks his bad leg to get it working, and he builds speed to CLOBBER Cody off the apron! Cody hits the announce desk, and Solo goes out after him. Fans are torn as Solo stalks Cody, but Cody blocks the bump to SMACK Solo off the desk! Cody dribbles Solo’s head, then rains down fists!

Fans fire up with Cody, he slides into the ring to refresh the count, and he builds speed! Cody DIVES, but into another clinch! SPINNING SOLO onto the desk! Fans boo while Cody writhes, and Solo drags him back up. For another SPINNING SOLO onto the desk! Solo soaks up the heat while Raw goes to break.

Raw returns once more and Solo clamps a claw into Cody’s shoulder. Cody endures and fans rally up, and Cody pries at the hold. Cody fights to his feet, pries the hand away, but Solo ROCKS him in the back with a forearm. Solo back suplexes, but Cody lands on his feet! Cody kicks low, reels Solo in, but Solo is too big to suplex! Solo HEADBUTTS Cody and puts him in a corner, to SPLASH! Solo shoves Cody down then stalks him. Solo grinds his forearm into Cody’s head, then scrapes his face! The ref reprimands but Solo eggs Cody on. Cody sits up but Solo CLUBS him down! Solo stomps Cody to ropes, then rains down fists!

The ref reprimands and counts, but Solo lets off at 4. Fans rally for Cody but Solo drags Cody up. But Cody stomps a foot! Then he GOURD BUSTERS Solo down! Solo sits up in a daze and staggers up, to HEADBUTT again! Cody wobbles, Solo runs, but then Cody follows! Cody CLOBBERS Solo, baits him to a corner, and goes up and over. Solo runs in, Cody dodges to POWERSLAM! Cody runs as Solo rises, BEAUTIFUL DISASTER KICK! Cody keeps moving, he springboards again, CODY CUTTER! Fans fire up with Cody, and he waits on Solo to stand. Solo rises, Cody dragon sleepers! CROSS RHODES! Cody crawls to the cover, ROPEBREAK!!

Solo survives by a literal foot and Cody can’t believe it! Cody drags Solo to a drop zone, stomps him a few times, then goes to the corner. Cody glares at Heyman while he climbs up, “Is this what you wanted!?” MOONSAULT FLOPS as Solo moves! Heyman says yes, that IS what he wanted. Solo and Cody both slowly rise, and they crawl towards each other. Both men stand, and Solo HEADBUTTS! And HEADBUTTS! And he prepares the thumb! Cody dodges the Samoan Spike to springboard and CODY CUTTER again! Fans fire up, but here come the USOS! Jimmy & Jey storm down the ramp, but Cody turns around into a SUPERKICK from Solo!

Solo hits another SPINNING SOLO!! Cover, TWO!!! Cody survives and the Bloodline is furious! But here come Sami & Kevin! The tag teams brawl at the ramp and Phoenix is thunderous again! Kevin ahs Jimmy, Sami has Jey, and Kevin sends Jimmy into the tron! Sami sends Jey into the tron! The brawl continues to the back! Solo is stunned, Cody springboards in! But Solo catches him! SAMOAN- NO, Cody ducks the spike! CROSS RHODES AGAIN!! Cover, Cody wins!!!

Winner: Cody Rhodes, by pinfall

Heyman is seething, but Solo’s WWE undefeated streak is broken by Cody’s! But will Cody cap this all off with the storybook ending of becoming Undisputed WWE Universal Champion?

My Thoughts:

A great episode, especially given this was a go-home episode. Great video packages to hype Asuka and Bianca ahead of their match, and a good one for Charlotte. Rhea had a good promo in person that didn’t really add anything. A little surprised they didn’t make a video for her so that everyone could see her run in NXT UK and NXT. Or maybe they should’ve had he reference that herself in this promo. Because Rhea could’ve brought up how she is the first woman to have been NXT UK Women’s and prime NXT Women’s Champion in her career, and is therefore also the only one to have had those, the Raw Women’s title and the WWE Women’s tag titles. If she gets the SmackDown title, she’ll join Charlotte as a WWE Triple Crown and Grand Slam, and even create like a “Five Star” Champion category all her own.

Great opening with MizTV, with good promos from everyone on the Face team, a good promo from Bayley, and a great response from Becky. Great match from Becky VS Sky, and great win from Becky. Becky’s promo did have a good point that DMG CTRL hasn’t really gone anywhere (not necessarily their fault), so I’m thinking that if DMG CTRL doesn’t win at Mania, Kai & Sky break away from Bayley to do things their way. Really good stuff from the women’s tag showcase story, too, with Chelsea & Sonya being almost as good of a combination as Chelsea & Carmella. And so of course they win to even things out, two Heel teams and two Face teams. I’m still thinking Ronda & Shayna win, and at this point, they probably pin/submit Chelsea to do it.

Good stuff from Rollins and Ali, with Ali apparently leaning into his “positive-Ali” gimmick to annoy more than just Ziggler. Rollins of course wins, and he has a great promo calling out Logan Paul. Not sure how that affects go-home math but obviously wrestling fans want Rollins to win so let’s hope he does. And speaking of Ziggler, I don’t know who I expected Gunther to beat, but I should’ve realized it’d be Ziggler. Good promo from Gunther warning his challengers, but it is still up in the air who wins that. Really good promo from Theory because he actually takes the Heel trope of not needing or caring about the fans to another level.

The weigh-in segment turning into a brawl was fine, because we were bound to get a brawl tonight anyway. Omos continues to look incredibly powerful, and Lesnar continues to find himself on the defensive. This could be one of the more compelling matches Lesnar has had because he has to figure out how to win as the underdog. Good vignette for Andre the Giant and the battle royal, and good promo where some of the entrants find they are in fact entrants. Elias is definitely not winning, but I would love if one of the “giants” in that match wins. And I’d personally go with Bronson Reed, he needs something to jumpstart his own story so he can stop story hopping.

Great promo from Dom before a really good match from Rey VS Damian. A disqualification win is a good way to give Rey the momentum, but then that can also mean Dom is going over at Mania for a huge moment. Really good promo from Finn to respond to Edge, can’t wait to see how this WrestleMania edition of Demon Balor will look. And really good 8 Man Tag to preview the Men’s Tag Team Showcase. The Faces winning makes sense, but who knows if either of those duos wins. It’d actually be rather surprising if, in her attempts to court Otis away from Alpha Academy, Maxxine has Mace & Mansoor help the Academy win with some shenanigans.

And of course, great stuff out of the Bloodline storylines. Great promos from both Cody and Heyman ahead of the great match from Cody VS Solo. Great promo from Kevin & Sami, and of course they counter The Usos trying to help Solo against Cody. This big win for Cody would normally make it seem like Cody is going to lose at the PPV, but there’s still the segment on SmackDown, and this story is a bit more complex, so there are ways for Cody to still win at Mania despite the math.

My Score: 8.7/10

Andrew’s TNA Genesis Results & Match Ratings: 1.19.25

Does TNA Believe in Joe Hendry more than Mokuba Nemeth believes in his big brother?

Published

on

Hot off the heels of the TNA and WWE working relationship announcement, the Kickoff show already has the first sprinkle of NXT talent with Ashante “Thee” Adonis coming out after Ariana Grace tries to take all of the credit for the partnership. Jake something runs over Ashante, but it’s a good quick nod on free YouTube. Oh it also looks like the ring announcer is McKenzie Mitchel again. I did like her first run in TNA in what was that… like 2016-2018 or 19? She’s got personality, she’s cute and a solid announcer, so nice to see her back.

I’m not gonna run down any predictions on who I think will win, because honestly, I just feel like Hendry needs to win today or it’s been an entire waste of momentum. So lets get to the main show!

Ratings:

  • X Division Championship: Moose (c) vs Ace Austin: Moose retains via Lights Out – *** 1/4
  • The System vs Maniac Marines: Marines win via K.I.A. – ***
  • Knockouts Tag Titles: Elegance Clique (Heather & Ash) w/Personal Concierge vs Spitfire (Dani Luna & Jody Threat) (c): Spitfire retain via Pressure Drop – **
  • Jordynne Grace vs Tessa Blanchard: Tessa wins via Magnum – ****

X Division Championship: Moose (c) vs Ace Austin

As soon as the bell rings, Ace jumps on him, forces him into the corner and stomps on him. Moose tries to fight out but Ace stays relentless. Ace has a counter for everything Moose is trying to counter in the early goings. Even when Moose catches him during the apron Handstand Dodge, Ace still has a counter for his counter. It’s not until a rake to the eyes from Moose that finally gives him a moment to start dictating the pace. A huge Irish Whip on the outside through the barricade is what Ace feels…twice. Ace tries to fight back from Moose continuing the momentum, Ace eats a Pump Kick, but blocks Moose’s attempt at a Suplex and counters with his own Vertical Suplex on Moose! JDC gets in the proximity of Ace so Ace kicks him, which delays his springboard, so Moose catches him and bounces him off the apron like a super ball.

Moose lets the count go, Ace barely gets in at 9, Moose throws him corner to corner, is slowing things down and being very deliberate. Ace starts powering through the pain, catches a Pump Kick, dodges a Spear into the corner and puts together a few strikes, Double Stomp, Triangle Kick, wants The Fold but Moose puts the brakes on there. Ace tries to spring off the ropes but Moose grabs him and hits Go To Hell for two! Fighting Spirit spot, Ace starts winning the trade, a Headbutt from Moose stops Ace, Moose flips him over the ropes to the apron, tries a few more things, Ace looks for a Springboard, Moose catches him but Ace slips it for a Frankensteiner. Moose powders to the opposite apron and Ace hits his Inside Out Headscissors sending Moose crashing to the floor. Alisha and JDC try to help up Moose, and while the referee is distracted JDC posts Ace. Moose goes for the Around the World Lights Out, but Ace moves and Moose kills JDC! Ace hits The Fold on the floor!

Eddie Edwards and Brian Myers run down the ramp, Ace sees them so he hits the Fosbury Flop to take them out. Ace is rolling, he goes for the Triangle Kick but Moose counters with Lights Out! 1-2- KICK OUT? Moose sets up for another Lights Out, Ace sidesteps it for the Cradle, kickout, Uranage, Cradle counter, Art of Finesse from Ace but Lights Out to the Spine from Moose! Moose sets up another and lands the Lights Out to retain!

Post Match the System looks to beat down on Ace, but Maniac Marines music hits and they go after Myers and Edwards. Guess the match is now!

The System vs Maniac Marines

Steve and Eric beat the hell out of the System members while the referee tries to set the match, it still hasn’t started but we get stereo 10 count punches in the corner, big fists causing Myers and Edwards to powder. This is essentially a Tornado Tag right now because the match hasn’t even started. Okay it eventually starts and Maclin hits the Backbreaker on Edwards and Busaiku Knee on Myers. He looks for a SCUD but Lish grabs the foot which is just enough! Maclin tries to charge anyway but gets caught in the Blue Thunder Bomb and now the match slows down and Eddie is in control.

Maclin absorbs some Chops from Eddie in the corner, no sells a little and fires, Eddie tags out Myers tries to slow things down with a Russian Leg Sweep but Maclin continues to try and rally. Eddie’s back in, shortarm Gowan Lariat into a cocky cover for two. Eddie tries to keep moving but Maclin hits the Vertical Suplex. Maclin is too slow to tag out so Eddie tags out and Myers cuts off Maclin. After a few more quick tags from System members, Maclin finally lands a Lariat to get the simultaneous tag and EY comes in hot. EY does the Flair corner flip, knocks Eddie off the apron, Myers eats a Macho Elbow but only two. Eddie knocks Maclin off the apron, Tandem Tiger Driver for two, EY fights back to level Eddie, Tree of Woe Myers Caught in Crosshairs but Lish gets in the ring! Eddie grabs Eric and distracts the ref, Lish clocks Maclin with either knuckles or a full hand of rings, Spear from Myers is only a two!

System Overload attempt, it’s thwarted by EY, Myers gets crotched in like a Reverse Tree of Woe, so Maclin hits the Caught in the Crosshairs on the back, EY with a Plancha to the outside to take Edwards out and K.I.A. from Maclin means Maniac Marines win!

Knockouts Tag Titles: Elegance Clique (Heather & Ash) w/Personal Concierge vs Spitfire (Dani Luna & Jody Threat) (c)

Elegance duo comes out dressed like Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders. They do a Go Eagles chant right before the bell rings to a chorus of Boos.

Even though Elegance Clique throws their pompoms and try a cheap shot, Spitfire just plow through them, literally. Quick tags, some assisted moves, Ash gets away from Spitfire, tags in Heather and shoves her forward trying to take them off guard, but they turn around…grab Heather and a long Tandem Stalling Suplex with a Deep Squat for two. Concierge distracts the referee, looks for a low Dive onto Heather but Ash just kicks Dani in the face, and the referee sees nothing. Heather rolls her back in, Kawada Kicks, Forearm Shiver, trip into a Dropkick to the face! Ash hangs Dani off the apron and Heather hits the Double Stomp from the apron to the floor.

Ash starts choking Dani on the ropes, distracts the referee and Heather paintbrushes Dani with pompoms as Ash goes for a series of pinfall attempts. Quick tags, Dani is in their corner, Cartwheel Back Handspring Elbow from Ash into a Seated Dropkick from Heather. Dani has been getting smacked around for the last 4 or 5 minutes. Ash leans on Dani for a while, but Dani gets a head of steam, comes off the ropes and Shotgun Dropkick gives her space. Jody gets a hot tag, she Sack of Shits them both, Vader Hammers in the corner into a Michinoku Driver, which Ash breaks up with a Meteora. Heather and Ash have a nice tandem move for a two count. Jody tries to fight back, but Elegance stops it, blind tag from Dani, Senton takes out both Elegance Clique members and Dani stalks her prey. Snap Suplex two times on Ash, but Heather stops the third and Jody just tosses Heather out of the ring in a rough way. Jody tries her Double Knees German Suplex spot but Ash moves. Dani with the Shinsuke Nakamura Inside Out German, Pressure Drop and Spitfire retains.

Boo…

Jordynne Grace vs Tessa Blanchard

Grace charges Tessa immediately, and the ref needs to pull her off, but Tessa gets thrown around the ring literally, the crowd is chanting “Fuck You Tessa”, Tessa powders, eats a Dive and then a Jackhammer on the outside! Grace puts Tessa on her shoulders up to the ring, but Tessa finally fights off and flips off the crowd, revels in it for a second, tries the Frankensteiner, but Grace holds on, smashes Tessa into the guardrail twice, looks for the Reverse Bomb on the apron, but Tessa gets out, stomps on Jordynne a few times, hooks Jordynne’s face with the crook of her leg and drives Jordynne’s face into the apron. Unique looking and decent.

Tessa has the correct intensity, pushes into two quick pinfall attempts and starts getting deliberate. Drags Jordynne’s face across the rope, throats Grace, kicks her in the face and Slingshot Elbow is another near fall. Tessa with the Front Facelock, Grace tries to fight out but Tessa holds on and drops her with a Scorpion Death Drop for another near fall. Jordynne fights Tessa off with a few elbows, looks for a Superplex, but Tessa fights off, wants the Avalanche Sunset Bomb, but Jordynne stops it, Tessa kicks Grace’s feet, looks for a Rope Hung Death Drop but Jordynne fights it off and smashes Tessa’s face into the turnbuckles but Tessa hits the Rope Hung Backstabber for two. Tessa looks for Magnum, but Jordynne cuts her off, they fight at the top, Avalanche Sack of Shit! They both sell the exhaustion of the match so far.

They trade blows, two Scoop Slams from Jordynne, Lawn Dart into the Top Turnbuckle! Package Powerbomb for two! Dragon Suplex attempt from Grace, Tessa breaks it, Headlock Takeover, quick counter wrestling, Tiger Destroyer from Tessa! Only for a two count, but still nice. Buzzsaw attempt is shrugged off, Tessa comes off the ropes and eats the Spinebuster from Jordynne for two quick pinfall attempts. Tessa with the Body Scissors and pulls herself up and fights back, Jordynne slaps her around, looks for the Suplex but Tessa slips it and Neckbreaker Counter for a two count! The brawl to the apron, Grace eats a forearm and Tessa hits the Tornillo on Jordynne! They posture on the steps, Tessa wants a move but Jordynne counters her and Spicolli Driver from the stairs to the floor from Jordynne!

More back and forth in the corner, just positioning and counters, it’s like watching chess. Jordynne grabs Tessa for an Avalanche Air Raid Crash, but Tessa fights it and turns it into an Avalanche Crucifix Bomb! After trying a grounded submission Tessa locks in the Octopus, tries to wrench the fingers but Jordynne counters, Rope Assisted German Suplex into a Capture Suplex for 2! Kudome Valentine attempt from Grace but Tessa gets out, Backfist from Jordynne, Tessa bounces off and Cutter gives her a two count! Tessa calls for Magnum, Jordynne dodges it, Tessa rolls through, tries boots but Grace grabs Tessa and hits the around the world Reverse Alabama Slam! Tessa keeps trying to remove Buckle Pads but they’re on good, Tessa reverses out of the Kinikku Buster, hits the Buzzsaw into the partially exposed buckle but Grace grabs the rope. Tessa removes another pad, Bulldog into exposed buckle, Magnum, and Tessa is still sexy.

The turnbuckle pads being on too well made the finish a little flat, but it was a damn good match. There’s also a joke in the match with Tessa coming out wearing Red and Gold (Yellow), so the racism allegations are never going away if she keeps making it easy.

I Quit Match: Josh Alexander vs Mike Santana

There’s intensity but its all just technical tactics to take each other to the ground and grab a limb. But since we just came off of a pretty good match, things can’t start too hot. Every time Santana throws Josh to the outside, Josh scurries back to the ring, he’s playing scared. There’s a “He’s a bitch” chant that pops up. Santana cuts off Josh’s charge with a few well placed boots which sends Josh outside, Tope con Hilo levels the bald man. Santana throws Josh into a guardrail, Yakuza Kicks back to back rock Josh a bit. Fans call for tables and Santana slides one out to a huge pop. Santana sets it up, plays to the crowd, tries a Powerbomb onto the table but Josh slips it and Overhead Belly to Belly sends Santana crashing. A fan can be heard saying “That look like it hurt” to which Santana replies ” It did asshole”. Now Josh is dissecting Santana’s legs to soften him up for the Ankle Lock. Josh goes for the corner spot with the Figure Four around the post after bouncing the knee off the post a few times.

Josh tries to continue but Santana slides out and counters Josh and bounces his face off the post. Josh walks it off a bit as Santana stalks him and then a quick Chop Block has Santana writhing in pain. Josh decides to be a heel and do the Three Amigos instead of the Kurt Angle Germans. Disrespectful bald jerk. Santana gets throated, dropped to the apron on his ass, Low Crossbody but Santana flattens out and Josh goes flying! Santana tries a Dive, but Josh catches him and just drops him spine first on the apron. After a small resilient flurry of slaps from Santana Josh goes for the Germans. Santana brushes off on the third, goes for the Rolling Buck Fifty, gets caught in the Torture Rack, Santana fights off Josh’s shoulders, kicks him into the corner, Senton into the seated Josh. Perches him up top, points at the table, tries something but Josh fights him off, Moonsault from Josh misses and a Death Valley Driver gives both a moment to breathe.

Santana Spin the-BLOCK-ED! Josh sweeps the leg, Ankle Lock and Santana refuses to quit twice but slips the boot ala Eddie Guerrero. Josh pauses a moment, Santana charges and Josh dumps him over the top rope through the table! Santana says he doesn’t quit, Josh looks surprised, so he goes looking for more plywood. He also grabs the bottom set of stairs and throws them into the ring. Scoop Slams Santana into the broken table and continues looking for weapons, like a chair and zip ties. Santana crawls into the ring, Josh steps on the worked on leg and smashes it repeatedly with the chair. Josh goes into Full Mount, rains down strikes, exposes the elbow for Elbow Strikes and tries to soften him up for the zip ties. C4 Spike but Santana raises up like the Undertaker and fires into beating the piss out of Josh. Frankensteiner on Josh into the Frog Splash, Spin the Block! Josh doesn’t quit. Santana grabs the zip ties that Josh introduced, ties the hands behind Josh’s back, Spin the Block 2! Josh doesn’t quit. Santana sets up the steps as a ramp, table in front of Josh in the corner and Cannonballs through the table into Josh! Josh still doesn’t quit off the Jackass stunt. Santana finds a sock filled with quarters and starts beating Josh like it’s a slapjack. Josh still doesn’t quit. Santana tells Josh to bite the curb and is about to Curb Stomp him into the steps and Josh gets scared and quits.

TNA Tag Team Championships: The Hardyz (c) vs The Rascalz

Fraxiom comes out to watch the match, so this nicely sets up a potential early angle between NXT and TNA for the crossover.

Trey and Matt start, but it’s a slow Headlock basic counters and feint spots. Jeff and Wentz want to play, so this is very Japanese in giving each member a free chance to interact before any cutoffs or tandems. The crowd likes both men, so this is interesting but more Stalemate spots. Jeff manages a Polish Hammer to tag in Matt and go for a quick tandem move and keep Wentz in the Hardy Corner bouncing his face off buckles in Delete fashion. Tag from Jeff for another tandem Rocket Launcher into the bottom rope and Leg Drop from Jeff. Wentz counters the Twist with a Jumping Knee so he manages a tag to Trey and then a few quick striking double team spots. Quick tag to Wentz, Matt comes in to break it up, drops Matt and Wishbone. Quick Tag, MCMG ACS Rush homage. Wentz Dives onto Matt on the outside, Matt catches him into the Side Effect on the floor! Jeff gets the best of Trey after he’s a little distracted. Manhattan Drop from Jeff, into a tag to Matt and then some double team strikes for a near fall. Delete Head Smashes again on Trey.

Vertical Suplex from Matt for another 2. Matt tags out and Hardys look for more Tandem attacks, Plot Twist but Wentz recovers and makes the break! Trey flips out of Jeff’s arms, tags in Wentz, and Wentz cleans house on both Hardys. Corner to corner, tags back in Trey they hit the Saki Kashima assisted Dropkick on each Hardy and then they dump the Hardys at the feet of Fraxiom. FIVE HOLE DIVE FROM RASCALZ! Misses the Hardys and hits Fraxiom! This builds heat for The Rascalz and Fraxiom as Hardys attack the Rascalz while distracted. Poetry in Motion off the stairs from Jeff!

Facebuster from Jeff for two! Wentz hits a Busaiku Knee on Jeff to stop him from hitting Trey, Side Effect drops Wentz, Enzuigiri from Trey drops Matt and all four are down to catch their breath a bit. Original Poetry in Motion on Trey! Twist of Fate from Matt but countered and Matt is thrown into Jeff who’s selling a knee. Superkick into Feed Em to the Lions! Wentz Dives on Matt but Trey can’t quite make a clean pinfall. Jeff eats a Cheeky Nandos and Top Rope Tiger Feint, Twist of Fates for everyone and Jeff re-NO Trey kicks out! Another Twist but eats a Superkick from Wentz, tries the UFO Cutter on Matt but Matt just throws him to the outside. A Twist of Fate from each Hardy Boy, Swanton Bomb and the Hardyz retain!

Thursday’s Live Show will have Fraxiom vs The Rascalz for the NXT Titles!

Raven’s Clockwork Orange House of Fun Match: TNA Knockouts World Championship: Masha Slamovich (c) vs Rosemary

Do Rosemary’s shorts have Pokemon Gym Badges on em? Masha goes for the Staple Gun, it almost gets countered immediately, but she gets the first few clicks of the Staple gun, it actually doesn’t backfire, but she lets Rosemary powder and starts grabbing a few weapons. Masha finally decides to attack Rosemary with a cane, but Rosemary turns things around with the green mist. Slamovich gets some of the mist out of her eyes, chases her into the ring and eats a Drop Toehold into a Chair. Rosemary sets up the table, panders to the crowd and Masha launches herself over the top with a Crossbody, into Rosemary and then through the table! Masha finds her old chain she used to make Killer Kelly submissive and starts choking and dragging Rosemary around the ring and then Sabus the chair at Rosemary for emphasis.

Masha tries to hit the front flip Senton onto a seated Rosemary, but Rosemary moves and Masha hits the chair weird. Rosemary beats her with a chair a few times, looks under the ring, gets giddy and finds Janice! Rosemary swings Janice, breaks it, and then uses the two pieces to block the cane Masha had and then pressed the nail portion into Masha’s back! Rosemary is talking to Janice and goes to the back to find tacks that she spills out on the stage. Rosemary wants a Chokeslam into tacks, Masha counters, misses a Lariat and then eats the Spear into the tacks! Barbed Wire board is set up in the ring, Spicolli…nope! Russian Death Device into the Barbed Wire! Masha goes to the top, Footstomp into the barbed wire but only for 2 again! Masha goes to the outside and grabs a ladder.

A trash can lid gets thrown at Rosemary for good measure, Masha ascends the ladder and then Rosemary pushes the ladder and Masha goes crashing through one of two tables set up on the outside. Rough spot, rough looking, but Masha manages to move enough to break the pinfall since its falls count anywhere. Rosemary now goes full Kevin Steen and makes some chair art for a spot, drags Masha into the ring, sets he on the chairs and goes to the top. Masha sits up as Rosemary climbs, counters the momentum and Avalanche Requiem through the chairs! Masha retains.

Cora Jade’s music hits and sets up nicely after Masha was on NXT.

The Countdown Panel starts off with their main event picks they hinted towards and it’s necessary because they have to clean up the ring. Mark Henry picks Joe Hendry, and he better be correct. Ryan Nemeth interrupts with the “my brootthhheerrr” stuff, and Santino calls him “Fuck Face Guy”. It’s all good stuff, and I’m still a big fan of the Mokuba gimmick, but now they ban Ryan Nemeth.

TNA World Championship: Nic Nemeth (c) vs Joe Hendry

Simple chain wrestling start until Nic has a few words and then snaps off a Dropkick, does his show off Dolph stuff so Hendry runs him over with a Shoulder Block and then a Knee Lift. Hendry tries his Stalling Suplex but Nic slips it into a Rear Naked Choke! Hendry spins Nic around, walks around with the Stalling Suplex before finally dropping Nic. Ryan Nemeth shows up with a ticket, so he’s sitting in the crowd now. Joe gets distracted just enough for Nic to jump up and hit a delayed DDT. After Nic tries to stretch Joe a little, Hendry goes into locomotion Cradles but Nic drops Joe to take a breather. Nic does his single Shot to the Heart Elbow and he’s really embracing the old Dolph Ziggler show off ego. Ziggler looks for a Rude Awakening after more arrogant moments, but Joe tries to fight it off, so Nic just snaps off a Jumping Neckbreaker.

Joe manages to hit a Cutter off the ropes to try and get some energy from the crowd. Strike exchange happens here, Uppercuts from Joe and Fists from Nic. Joe blocks one fist, throws a few of his own together and a Lariat levels Nic. Sack of Shit into the Kip Up! Counters galore from both men before Nic gets caught in the Pop-Up Powerbomb! Attitude Adjustment for just a near fall. You see moments of Nic trying to cheat or find an angle but he hasn’t done anything overtly heelish yet. Joe is rocking him with chops, perches Nic on the top, looks for the Superplex but Nic fights back, Hendry gets pushed off, Crossbody but Hendry rolls through, holds on and gets his Powerbomb countered into a FAMEasser for two! Nic crawls to a corner, looks to climb for something big, Hendry cuts him off, Avalanche Sack of Shit! Kaz walks out with the trophy as both men sell, but JBL comes out of the crowd and Clothesline from Hell on Kaz. JBL punches Ryan in the face as he comes out to say something. Then Tuxedo JBL leaves after doing his job. Standing Ovation from HENDRY! 1-2-NO! Nic kicks out!

The crowd chants “One More Time” and it fires up Hendry, he does the heel turn and goes full Queen Stomp, tries again, but Nic slips it. Superkick into Danger Zone and it’s….HENDRY KICKS OUT! Nic is tuning up the band, Hendry catches Nic, Sack of Shit, Kip Up, big fire, Standing Ovation! JOE HENDRY WINS!

Overall Score: 7/10

Even if the match quality wasn’t bonkers, mostly all the matches did what they needed to do, were fairly good and a good number of NXT talent showed up to make the Live iMPACT! and TNA really feel like something special right now. I’m an unabashed Tessa fan, so I’m giddy she won and Hendry finally getting the title is the latest they could’ve really dragged this out to, but at least it stops him from becoming Tetsuya Nai-Joe.

I’m not gonna be a hypocrite from previous complaints I made with too many champions being babyfaces, because that’s still bad and proves the next few title defenses could prove volatile. However, I of course just enjoy most of the current champions. So while it doesn’t erase the fact it’s bad, it makes it more palatable for me personally. Now if only PCO destroyed the Knockouts Tags instead of a different irrelevant belt.

Also let’s be very clear, anyone that believes the PCO stunt was a legit shoot doesn’t know wrestling. Everything is a work until it isn’t and then it still could be turned into a work. Don’t be gullible and just anticipate something to be worked out of it one way or the other.

Still though, good show with a lot of hype for the Live iMPACT, so Thursday should be fun! See you there!

Tell ’em, Turbo! Turbo Floyd says messing with the Outrunners is one thing, but what about this big super group right here? The best super group since the Yankees! Give it to ’em, big man! Hobbs says on Wednesday, he almost had that AEW World Championship. But even with a bad leg, he’ll hobble out there and beat dat ass! Cope adds that Moxley better shut up and listen.

“Christopher Daniels, for far too long, I have listened to the ruminations and opinions of how I should live my life from old men like you. CD, you are wrong. And you are long in the tooth. Tonight, Texas Death, I take you out to pasture.” The Blackhat Cowboy is ready to put the Fallen Angel out of his misery, but will he hit that Buckshot right in Daniels’ face?

Texas Death Match: Hangman Page VS Christopher Daniels!

No sense in waiting to find out, the Cowboy and the Fallen Angel start us off! Will “Maximum Carnage” be an understatement after these two go until one man can’t keep going?

The bell rings and the fans rally up already. Hangman and Daniels stare down, step up, and Daniels says Hangman could’ve just let it all go. It didn’t have to be like this! The fans duel, but Hangman SLAPS Daniels! Hangman throws hands in the corner, but Daniels CHOPS in return! Daniels ROCKS Hangman, RAMS him again and again, but Hangman CLUBS Daniels back. Hangman fires hands, but Daniels kicks low! The shots go back and forth but Hangman ROCKS Daniels! Hangman CLAWS Daniels’ eyes, then fires body shots and haymakers! Hangman CLUBS away on Daniels, the fans fire up, and Hangman whips corner to corner.

Daniels reverses, runs up, but into a BOOT! Hangman rains down fists, then lets off to pace around. Daniels bails out, but Hangman runs to triangle jump LARIAT! Daniels falls to the floor, but he rises up, into a PLANCHA from Hangman! The fans fire up again while the ref checks Daniels. Daniels is in this but Hangman puts him in the ring. Hangman snarls, but Daniels WRECKS him with a dropkick! Daniels then aims, ARABIAN- NO, Hangman YANKS Daniels down, then sends him into railing! The fans are torn as Hangman grabs a chair! Hangman runs up, and he CLOBBERS Daniels with the chair!

Daniels flounders, Hangman fires the fans up, then he puts the chair in the ring. Hangman grabs more chairs, and Daniels rises up. Daniels is busted open, but Hangman shoves Daniels into the ring. Hangman goes looking, and he brings out BARBED WIRE! Hangman is escalating this quickly as he goes for Daniels’ face! Daniels fights back, but Hangman still DIGS the wire into Daniels’ forehead! He was already bloodied but it’s only gonna get worse! The fans tell Hangman he’s sick, but Hangman LASHES Daniels on the back with the wire! And LASHES him again! Hangman then puts the wire in Daniels’ mouth!!

The fans are freaking out as Hangman is practically flossing Daniels’ teeth with the wire! But Daniels throws Hangman away! Daniels blocks a kick, ducks a lariat, but then the BOOT comes back! Daniels is down, Hangman grabs the rest of the wire, and he wraps it around his arm! Hangman aims, Daniels staggers up, BARBED WIRE ROLLING ELBOW! Daniels falls again, Hangman holds up the wire and the fans cheer, but Collision goes picture in picture.

Hangman stalks Daniels to the ropes, then CHOKES him! Hangman only lets off so he can grab a chair. Hangman sits that chair up, and Daniels sputters from behind his crimson mask. Hangman sets another chair up, those sit facing each other. Hangman brings Daniels over, fireman’s carries, but Daniels fights free! Daniels staggers to a corner, Hangman runs up, but into a BOOT! Daniel runs up, but into a POP-UP POWERBOMB onto the chairs! Daniels writhes and Hangman snarls. The standing count starts, but Daniels uses ropes to stand at 5 of 10! Hangman KICKS him in the side!

Hangman grabs a chair, wedges it into a corner, but Daniels flops out of the ring. Daniels is buying himself as much time as he can but Hangman clears everything else out of the ring. Hangman storms after Daniels, scoops him, and FALL AWAY SLAMS him onto the floor! Daniels writhes again but Hangman goes looking under the ring again. Hangman brings out a TABLE! Hangman positions the table to be ringside, but Daniels drags himself to the apron. Hangman goes up to join Daniels as Maximum Carnage returns to single picture. Hangman brings Daniels over, Alabama Lifts, but Daniels CLUBS away on Hangman’s back!

Daniels underhooks! Hangman lifts! Daniels fights and slips around, to then LARIAT Hangman into the ring! The fans rally up and Daniels steps back in. Daniels storms up on Hangman, but Hangman sends him into the chair! Daniels falls back, the chair stuck around his head! Hangman snarls again while Daniels sputters. Daniels rolls out and ends up on the table, so Hangman runs to DOUBLE STOMP him down through the table!! The fans lose their minds, the standing count begins, and Hangman watches Daniels crawl. Daniels manages to rise at 7, but Hangman KICKS him back down! Hangman rains down fists on the bloody forehead!

Hangman goes looking, and he finds a table with barbed wire on it!! Hangman shoves that into the ring, careful not to poke himself too bad. Hangman sets this monstrosity up near a corner, and Daniels has made his way to the apron. Hangman climbs the corner to bring Daniels up. The fans are already worried, and Hangman Alabama Lifts Daniels! Daniels fights with everything he has left! Daniels HEADBUTTS away on Hangman, then fires down elbows! Daniels slips in, clinches, and URENAGE DOWN THROUGH THE BARBED WIRE TABLE!!! The fans lose their minds while both men are down!

The ref clears the wreckage while both men crawl to the corners. Daniels runs in to LARIAT from behind! GERMAN SUPLEX! S T O! Daniels roars and the fans fire up! Daniels drags Hangman up, clinches again, UREN- NO, Hangman arm-drags free! Hangman LARIATS Daniels up and out, onto the ramp! Hangman snarls, aims, and BUCKSHOT- NO, Daniels ducks that to mule kick! Daniels underhooks, but Hangman BACKDROPS Daniels back into the ring! Daniels snarls through the crimson mask, but Hangman has more barbed wire! Daniels storms up, and Hangman DIGS the wire into Daniels’ face!!

Daniels staggers away, Hangman wraps his arm again! BARBED WIRE BUCK- FLATLINER!! KOJI KLUTCH!! Hangman endures, the fans fire up, and Daniels squeezes as tight as he can! But Hangman DIGS the wire into Daniels’ face again!! Daniels lets go, sputters through the blood, and slowly rises. Hangman aims, lifts, but Daniels grabs ropes! Daniels holds on, but then lets go to underhook! ANGEL’S WINGS!! Both men are down so the count is on them both! Daniels is already up at 5, Hangman is up at 6! The fans fire up for another URENAGE! Daniels points to the corner and the fans fire up!

Daniels crushes Hangman under the wood, then shoves it aside! Fans hope these tow “FIGHT FOREVER!” but it has to end somehow! Hangman is still down at 5 of 10! And at 7! Hangman scrambles to his feet at 9!! Hangman is bloodied but he’s going nuts! He steps on the chair so Daniels can’t use it! Daniels ROCKS Hangman, Hangman LARIATS Daniels! Scoop and tuck! TOMBSTONE PILEDRIVER onto the chair!!

Daniels crawls with one good arm, and he’s somehow still in this! Fans want that “ONE MORE TIME! ONE MORE TIME!” Hangman waits on Daniels to stand, then reels him in! Alabama Lift, DEADEYE onto the chair!!! Daniels sputters but he’s staying down! Hangman goes to the apron and he loads up all the same. Daniels somehow rises up before 5 of 10, so a BUCKSHOT from behind takes him down!! The count starts again while Hangman stands over Daniels. The count is 5 of 10, then 7. 8! 9! 10!! Daniels is done, Hangman wins!

Winner: Hangman Page, by knockdown

The medics check Daniels, but Hangman leaves him behind. But then on second thought, Hangman drags Daniels up! Underhooks and ANGEL’S WINGS!! Hangman adds insult to injury by using Daniels’ own move!! Hangman storms off, leaving Daniels to the medics. Is this the end of the Fallen Angel? Is this only the beginning of Hangman’s violent road back to the world title?

Tony Schiavone is in the ring.

He welcomes us back to Maximum Carnage, and he welcomes out Toni Storm! Cincinnati fires up as The Rockstar is back again, and “Rookie” Toni joins Schiavone in the ring. Schiavone notes her historic win in the inaugural Women’s Casino Gauntlet, and with it, her shot at the AEW Women’s World Championship! It will be Grand Slam: Australia, Toni’s hometown of Brisbane, how does she feel? Toni says honestly, she doesn’t even know what her life is right now. It is so surreal! All she can say is, her dreams are finally coming true!

Because she’s going to Australia, to the building where she saw her first wrestling show, and she’ll never forget how her mom scraped together all she could so that they could get tickets, just to sit in the back row. Mom sold hot dogs to pay for Toni’s training. Mom sewed together Toni’s original ring gear. Now Toni can call mom and tell her, “Get ready, cuz I’m coming home!” The fans cheer that! Schiavone says that is a great feeling, but Toni surely realizes she is facing Mariah May, and that is an entirely different feeling. The fans boo Mariah, but Toni says Mariah is “the best in the business today. She’s killing it!”

But Toni hasn’t even had a chance to introduce herself to Mariah. Maybe next week, in Jacksonville, Daily’s Place, the home of AEW… It’s time for Toni and Mariah to finally meet face to face. The fans cheer, but Schiavone wants Toni to understand. C’mon now, Toni. Aw, c’mon yourself, Schiavone! It’s Tony and Toni! That means… IT’S TONI TIME~! WOO~! Say it with her! Okay. It’s TONI TIME! The fans cheer and Toni gets Tony to be all fired up! But the point Schiavone was trying to get to is valid: Is Toni really unaware of her timeless rivalry with The Glamour?

The Hurt Syndicate speaks.

It was after the show on Wednesday that MVP said a definitive statement was made. MVP promised Lashley & Shelton that when they came to AEW, the championship gold would be theirs for the taking. The All Mighty has never been a tag team champion while the Standard of Excellence has many times. That changes everything. With the defeat, the ASS KICKING, they just put on Private Party, that should make the Hurt Syndicate the #1 contenders. So Private Party, time to crash the party! Next week, in Knoxville, Tennessee, Private Party better put up the AEW World Tag Team Championships against Shelton & Lashley. See what you’ve really got!

But just remember: #WeHurtPeople. Lashley says this ish is gonna be easy. He and Shelton fist bump, but will they put the hurt on Marq Quen & Isiah Kassidy?

Six Man Tag: The Undisputed Kingdom VS Shane Taylor Promotions!

Adam Cole, Roderick Strong & Kyle O’Reilly are reunited once more, ready for more, and they have all sorts of targets in mind. But Lee Moriarty, Shawn Dean & Carlie Bravo have their eyes on those same championship targets, which is why they’re crossing paths here tonight. Will #TAIGASTYLE & The Infantry show the Kingdom how to rumble, bad men, rumble? Or will Maximum Carnage be undisputed?

The trios sort out and the ROH Pure Champion starts against Adam Cole BAYBAY. They circle, tie up, and Lee already gets a leg pick. Lee then switches to a waistlock, Cole switches with him, repeat. Cole headlocks, Lee powers up and out, but Cole KICKS the backdrop! Cole then dodges the lariat, PELES, and he brings Lee over. Tag to Roddy, they mug Lee, and Roddy CHOPS! Roddy CHOPS again, then wrenches to a wristlock. Lee rolls, slips through, traps the arms, and he pulls on an ear! Tag to Dean, STP mug Roddy, and then Dean scoops, only for Roddy to slip free. Roddy shoves and DROPKICKS Dean down!

The fans fire up, Strong tags Kyle, and they CHOP and KICK away on The Captain! lee runs up, Kyle KICKS him down! Kyle & Roddy double suplex Dean onto Lee! Cover on Dean, TWO! Kyle drags Dean up but Dean JAWBREAKERS free! Tag to Carlie but Kyle kicks, clinches, and fires Muay Thai knee after knee! Kyle KICKS Carlie down, then stalks him to ropes. Kyle whips, Carlie reverses, and Dean trips Kyle up! The ref is arguing with Carlie, and now with The Kingdom, as Dean hits an APRON CUTTER! Carlie goes up and out to then GUILLOTINE AX HANDLE! Kyle flops down, STP pose together, and Collision goes picture in picture.

Kyle sputters, The Infantry distract the ref, and that lets Shane THROW Kyle into railing! Shane DECKS Kyle while The Kingdom protests! The ref keeps everyone back, and Dean brings Kyle around. Carlie puts Kyle in the ring, whips him to a corner, then storms up to JAB! JAB! JAB! Carlie pops, locks ‘n’ winds up, to CHOP! Carlie talks smack, tags Dean, then Dean sends Carlie in to SPLASH! Dena runs up, whips Carlie in again, forearm SMASH! Then Dean ELBOWS Kyle! Kyle staggers, into a LARIAT from Dean! The Captain scowls while he stands over Kyle. Dean then pushes Kyle to a cover, TWO!

Dean drags Kyle back, anchors him, then tags Lee. Lee drags Kyle up to UPPERCUT! Kyle staggers around, Lee Mongolian CHOPS! Kyle staggers some more, and Collision goes to break.

Collision returns while both Kyle and Lee are down. The fans rally up, both men crawl, hot tags to Dean and Cole! the fans fire up as Cole dodges Dean, BLASTS Lee & Carlie, but Dean waistlocks! Cole elbows free, then LARITS Dean down! And ELBOWS him! And BOOTS him! Dean staggers, Cole fireman’s carries, USHIGOROSHI! Cover, TWO! Cole keeps his focus and he climbs a corner. Dean rises, for the PANAMA- NO, Dean slips under the sunrise! But Cole SUPERKICKS! Cole suplexes, LAST SHOT! Cover, TWO!! Well, not quite the last shot, so Cole tags ROddy. Rioddy hauls Dean up to CHOP away!

Roddy runs, BLASTS Carlie, then runs to SHINING WIZARD Dean! Side to side, forearm SMASH! Then a RUNNING FACEBUSTER! Cover, Carlie & Lee break it! STP mugs Roddy, double whips, but Roddy grabs ropes! Roddy BOOTS and ENZIGIRIS Lee, Kyle sneaks a tag! Roddy TOSSES Carlie and Kyle FLYING KNEES him down! Lee runs up but Cole gets him with 52 Fake Out! Then a PANAMA SUNRISE! The fans fire up as Dean staggers up! Roddy & Kyle call their shot, TOTAL ANNIHILATION! Cover, Undisputed Kingdom wins!

Winners: The Undisputed Kingdom, by pinfall

STP put up quite the fight, but now Shane himself CLOBBERS Kyle! And he blocks a kick to KNEE Cole down! And he HEADBUTTS Roddy down! The fans boo but Big Bad Shaney T is that bad! He talks trash, even to Daddy Magic! Matt Menard says alright then! If Shane thinks he’s bad, then step to him! Or rather, step to DANIEL GARCIA! The TNT Champion makes his way out here, and he CLOBBERS Carlie! He CLOBBERS Dean! And he fires hands on Shane! Garcia throws off his jacket, storms in, and he fires more hands! Shane shoves Garcia away, but Kyle KICKS! Cole SUPERKICKS! Strong KNEE!

Daniel reels Shane in, SAIDO! The fans fire up as Garcia and the Undisputed Kingdom stand tall together! STP retreats, but then The Kingdom eyes that TNT Championship. Garcia holds it up, and he dares any which one of them wants it to come get it. Who will be the first from The Kingdom to challenge the Red Death?

AEW shares more footage from after Dynamite.

Alicia Atout was with Will Ospreay and asked him about the save he made for Kenny Omega against the Don Callis Family. What are his thoughts after all that? Ospreay says you can call it a save for Kenny but it was really Ospreay trying to get after Kyle Fletcher. But hey, he and Kenny have had their differences. Their battles in Japan and Canada have gone down as legendary. But they both know each other because of Don Callis. That is their link, that is how they’re tied together. Before, it was all about egos, but to be honest, this is bigger than both of them. Time they had a chat. Next week, Dynamite in Knoxville, Ospreay calls out Kenny to have that chat.

The Bruv wants to talk with The Best Bout Machine, will they come to an agreement when it comes to their common enemies?

Brian Cage & Lance Archer w/ Don Callis VS Top Flight w/ Leila Grey!

Speaking of Don Callis, his Murder Machines are back in action, ready to make #EverybodyDie! Will Cage & Archer be waiting on the other side of Private Party VS Hurt Syndicate for their tag title shot? Or can Dante & Darius Martin show that the bigger they are, the harder they fall?

The teams sort out and then the Murder Machines attack! The fans boo but the bell rings as Cage beats up Dante and Archer CLUBS Darius. Archer scoops Darius to SLAM him, then Cage waistlocks Dante. BOOT GERMAN SUPLEX COMBO! Dante flounders out of the ring while Cage RAMS Darius into the corner! And RAMS him in again! Then he CHOPS Darius, tags Archer, and they THROW Darius into the corner! Archer whips Cage in to UPPERCUT, then Cage feeds Darius to the scoop! BACKBREAKER! BASEMENT DROPKICK! Cage adds on and Archer says, “EVERYBODY DIES!” Dante is up but Archer DECKS him!

Archer puts Darius in the corner, fires body shots, then he ROCKS Darius! Archer goes corner to corner and back again to ELBOW! And then he keeps going, but Darius dodges! The fans rally up as Darius crawls, but Archer BLASTS Dante again! Darius fires haymakers, but Archer knees low! Archer bumps Darius off buckles, tags Cage, and the mugging continues. The fans boo but Cage runs side to side, and he BOOT WASHES Darius! Cage says “Ain’t nobody betta!” Cage drags Darius up, whips him to an open corner, then he runs in, but into BOOTS! The fans rally but Cage ROCKS Darius! Darius TIGER WALL PELES with the corner!

Backstage interview with The Learning Tree.

Lexy Nair is with Chris Jericho, Bryan Keith & “Big Bill” Morrissey, and she asks Jericho about how on Dynamite, he assured us all that The Learning Tree and The Death Riders would be on the same page, and that Jon Moxley can trust them. How is Jericho so sure that things will go well when The Death Riders didn’t even show for this interview? The Redwood says, “As the Learning Tree always says, ‘Absence makes the heart grow fonder.'” Jericho says that’s so true. And Moxley isn’t the type to show up and do interviews. Jericho isn’t the type to stand here and allow someone to stir the pot.

So enough of this muckraking! Bryan Keith adds, “No mother effin’ muckraking!!” Lexy is a bit taken aback, but Jericho tells Moxley that he’ll address him directly. They’ve known each other a long time. They were the first two AEW World Champions! They have beaten the hell out of each other around the entire world! Moxley left this scar right on Jericho’s left eyebrow. See? And Jericho took a spike and tried to take Moxley’s eye. So like Jericho said, they’ve beaten each other all around the world, but tonight they have common enemies! Moxley knows there is no one in AEW as driven or as smart as Moxley as Jericho.

So if Moxley’s as smart as Jericho thinks, it would behoove Moxley to trust The Learning Tree. And if there’s any doubt, then The Learning Tree will prove it to you before you meet them in the ring. Lexy asks what he means, but Jericho counters with, “What does anything mean, Lexy?” Jericho storms off, Bill says that was a sick burn. Keith says it was a sick ass burn! The Learning Tree heads out, but seriously, what does Jericho mean? How’re they going to prove themselves to The Death Riders before their 12 Man Tag?

Backstage interview with Matt Menard & Daniel Garcia.

Collision returns as Lexy is now with Daddy Magic & The TNT Champion, and she notes them helping out The Undisputed Kingdom. Can they explain how and why? But before Garcia can, Roddy shouts at “DANIEEEL~!” The Kingdom thanks Garcia for that, they appreciate the help. And trust Cole when he says that if there’s anyone who understands competition, certainly it’s Garcia. It is a shame, though, that Garcia & Menard don’t have a third man, because Cole, Roddy & Kyle wanna prove they’re the best trio in AEW. Garcia says yeah, well, they’ll be in Jacksonville next week for Collision: Homecoming.

And Garcia remembers walking into Jacksonville three years ago with two people he barely even knew, at the bottom of the totem pole. Three years later, we’re going back to Jacksonville and it’s a completely different story. Menard checks with Garcia. Is he saying they’re call the brand new father? The new father? Then Kingdom is on! Homecoming, Jacksonville, Six Man Tag! Cole and the boys like that, and they head out. Will things still be undisputed? Or will Cool Hand Ange’s return to the ring tip the scales?

Max Caster is in the ring.

Platinum Max has both a mic and a leather bag, and he thanks the fans, missing how they’re booing him. But Caster says there has been a lot of issues going on within The Acclaimed. There are a lot of rumors online, a lot of talk, but he wants to clear the air right now with his teammate, Anthony Bowens. Caster asks Bowens to come to the ring, and he has the fans cheer Bowens on. Bowens does walk out here, and he grabs a mic for himself. Caster says this has gone on long enough. There has been a huge misunderstanding between the two of them. They are a great team, and more importantly, they are great friends.

The biggest issue here is that Bowens just won’t admit that Caster is the Best Wrestler Alive! The fans boo and Bowens stops Caster there. Bowens says it is finally time for Caster to listen! Because for the last five years, Bowens has tried with every fiber of his being to protect Caster in the ring, in the locker room, and in the media. Because they, The Acclaimed, were tag team partners, and then became best friends. But now Bowens has to live with the very uncomfortable truth that Caster has made Bowens into a liar! Because for those five years, Bowens has had to lie to every single fan about who Caster is as a person!

Because Cincinnati, you need to know that Max Caster is an arrogant, cocky, selfish, edge lord PIECE OF S*IT! And Caster wants the fans to believe he’s the Best Wrestler Alive? Newsflash: The fans believe YOU SUCK! The fans cheer, but Caster brings out a (fake) degree from his bag that says “Best Wrestler Alive!” Bowens says this is what he means! Cater is selfish, he lost the team spirit! Why did Caster start looking down on Bowens? Maybe it’s because Bowens is the Scissor King, not that Caster’s been doing that. Well guess what? Bowens is more than that! He possesses every tool necessary to be a world champion! Cincy agrees there!

Bowens has proudly represented AEW since he put pen to paper! He is the GADDAMN PRIDE of AEW! He is the Five Tool Player!! The fans cheer that! And Bowens doesn’t need some piece of paper to prove it. Caster says don’t touch him! Wait, the music hits? They’re both here, so that means it is DADDY ASS! Billy Gunn is back, mic in hand, and he sighs looking at his boys fighting. The fans cheer and Billy says first off, what is wrong with these two? They are The Acclaimed! AEW World Tag Team Champions, AEW World Trios Champions, and they got everyone to scissor just because it was cool!

Caster claims Billy doesn’t care about them! He just attached himself to a couple of young, hungry wrestlers like them just so they could hear the fans chant his name again. Billy made it about Billy, when it should be about MAX! The Best Wrestler Alive! Oh, and Anthony! They are best friends! Seriously! Okay? They are two guys who were randomly put together, didn’t know each other, but they became the winningest tag team in AEW history! Every team Billy has been a part of has broken up, and there’s a reason for that. Yeah, even Gunn Club! Billy’s own two sons did not want anything to do with him!

Billy gets pissed and he gets in Caster’s face. The fans tell Billy, “KICK HIS ASS! KICK HIS ASS!” Caster says he is not doing this. Bowens has to choose: Caster or Billy. If Bowens wants The Acclaimed to continue, it is either Caster or “washed-up” Billy Gunn. The fans cheer for “BILLY! BILLY!” Bowens is conflicted, but Caster stands there with open arms. Bowens offers the scissors, so Caster says okay. But then Bowens makes it a middle finger! The fans cheer as Bowens stands with Billy! So is that how it is? Caster says fine! Another bad decision from “Bad Decision Bowens.” You can’t walk away from Caster, he’s walking away from them!

Acclaimed is done because CASTER said so as leader of the team! It is Bowens’ fault, it is Billy’s fault, and it’s the fault of every fan here! Caster will prove to everyone that he IS the Best Wrestler Alive, and without him, Bowens sucks, Billy sucks, and all the fans suck! The fans chant “YOU SUCK! YOU SUCK!” Bowens tells Caster that he didn’t need Caster then, and he doesn’t need Caster now! Get outta his life! Billy, Cincy, one last time! Throw the scissors up! The fans cheer as Bowens & Billy SCISSOR~! Caster is frustrated, but will he just have to put up or shut up?

Backstage interview with Swerve Strickland & Prince Nana.

Lexy is with The Realest and says the past few weeks, he and Ricochet have had this cat ‘n’ mouse game. But it was announced that February 5th, Dynamite in Atlanta, we will get Swerve VS Ricochet. But until then, what is Swerve’s strategy? Swerve says respectfully, the longer they waste time talking, the more time Ricochet has to get away. And as for “cat ‘n’ mouse,” this is more like lion and rat. It will end now. February 5th, Swerve gets Ricochet in the ring to himself, but Swerve plans on seeing him way before then. Swerve has been cursed with the ability where everything he touches dies…

With that said, Swerve plans on using that for when he gets his hands on Ricochet’s throat! The Most Dangerous Man is only going to be more dangerous from now on, will Ricochet have no chance of escape?

The Learning Tree tried to earn the Death Riders’ trust, but they only angered The Powerhouse! Will The Book of Hobbs still find his way back to a championship story in the New Year? And what of Rated FTR? Are they still brawling with The Death Riders somewhere in Cincinnati? Will they be brawling all the way to Knoxville this Wednesday?

My Thoughts:

A great Collision here, but with some obvious new examples of Tony Khan forgetting his own stories. The Undisputed Kingdom VS Shane Taylor Promotions was a great Six Man Tag, and a great win for Cole, Roddy & Kyle now that they’re all back together, but I guess The Conglomeration meant nothing to anyone in the end. Secondly, Daniel Garcia making the save is fine and all, but why’re we pivoting away from how Garcia is friends with Private Party and should be helping them with The Hurt Syndicate? Not to mention, Shelton and Garcia still have beef from the C2 to settle, aka a TNT Championship match. Hurt Syndicate had a good promo, and it’s really hard to think Private Party retains the tag titles.

Back to Garcia, I do appreciate we’re getting back to him teaming with Menard & Parker, and we’ll have a fun Six Man Tag for Homecoming, but I feel like Undisputed Kingdom wins again. We’ll probably get the Kingdom member who scores the fall challenging for the TNT Championship, so maybe like Kyle VS Garcia, but even that should be a one-off. If The Kingdom wants to be the “best trio” in AEW, that means they want the trios titles, and that means running afoul of The Death Riders, who already have Rated FTR after them. I suppose the easiest solution is just for Claudio, Yuta & Pac to defend against both teams in some kind of wild Trios match, but it’s hard to say if TK can sort out a mess like that.

There’s also the ROH World Six Man titles, but it doesn’t seem like The Von Erichs ever leave Texas. And All In: Texas is the big attraction for the Summer, so I can’t imagine “The Sons of Texas” losing in Texas… Well, that’s a problem to be solved later, we still got a good match from Dustin Rhodes tonight, but then that was about it. I was expecting someone from the ROH side to call him out for the tag titles, but nope. Gates of Agony had a very good promo to put a challenge of their own out there, and I suppose since they want the best possible, TK wasn’t going to short change them. Brody & Buddy having a match for Homecoming could help them introduce their new team name that is no longer House of Black related, given Malakai Black seems on his way out for real this time.

Speaking of, Julia had a very good match with Harley and got a very good win out of it. Julia still seems to be working the rust off but she can definitely find her way back to a title. If it’s Mercedes Mone still as TBS Champion, Julia isn’t winning. And even then, whoever beats Mone isn’t losing to Julia… Toni Storm had a good promo with Schiavone, especially the subtle way she stopped Schiavone from bringing up her past with Mariah. Whether this is a delusion or a deception, that will surely come to a head next week when Toni and Mariah meet face to face. I am really going to enjoy the moment Toni finally says, “How DARE you!” again.

Very good tag match of Murder Machines VS Top Flight, but of course Archer & Cage were going to win. They need their own momentum, for starters, and also they’re just massive. Depending on how the tag title match goes, I could see the Murder Machines going after Private Party, or even stepping to the Hurt Syndicate to make that the next phase of the Don Callis Family story. Ospreay had a good promo to bring up that feud, and I would think Ospreay’s chat with Omega next week is to make an alliance so that they can take on The Don Callis Family. Then as I said on Wednesday, we can get Ospreay & Omega VS Murder Machines first, then Ospreay & Omega VS Kyle & Konosuke after that.

Hangman VS Daniels was an awesome Texas Death Match, just a little bit short of the matches Hangman has had with Swerve. But even so, Daniels looked awesome, even with how he was bleeding and beat up. Hangman wins, of course, and he could go after just about anyone after this. And if this is Daniels’ sendoff as an in-ring competitor, what a way to go out, #ThankYouCD. Speaking of Swerve, he’s of course going to be hunting Ricochet, and the three weeks until Dynamite Atlanta will be some interesting ones. But I feel like they could’ve instead kayfabed that each week is meant to have Ricochet VS Swerve, Ricochet keeps ducking Swerve, and then TK takes an onscreen role to say enough is enough, Ricochet HAS to face Swerve in Atlanta, last warning.

Okada VS Ishii was a great match, and Okada sure hit all his usuals. Okada cheating to get the win is fitting of this Heel persona, but it’s hard to say where he’s going after this. Part of me wonders if Hobbs can step to him given how strong he’s getting to look lately. Good promo from Hobbs & Rated FTRunners, and I do commend Learning Tree for attacking after as a way of trying to win over The Death Riders. It didn’t work out, obviously, as Hobbs gets to look even stronger. Rated FTR and Death Riders brawling out of the building to take themselves out of the equation was smart, too, keeps them from being part of the math once Hobbs “heroically” goes out there and wins it for the Faces. Hobbs VS Okada would be an awesome match, and the promos oughta be fun, too.

My Score: 8.8/10
