The Judgment Day is here!
Finn Balor, Damian Priest & Dominik Mysterio were victorious last night on Raw against Seth Rollins, Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn, and now they’ve come back to the white ‘n’ gold! They get the mics and fans chant for “MAMI! MAMI!” And then they chant “Welcome Home! Welcome Home!” Finn starts by telling NXT, “Daddy’s home!” Because this is the House that Finn Built! And Finn is back to lay down some house rules with the Judgment Day! He’s got Senor Money in the Bank, Damian Priest, and the Women’s World Champion, Rhea Ripley! Fans again chant for “MAMI! MAMI!” Finn says, “And everyone’s favorite, Dirty Dominik Mysterio!”
Fans boo Dom and he gets upset. Damian says with all that said, “NXT Universe, ALL RISE for the Judgment Day!” Now to get to business, “Melo and Trick. You guys called us out here because you thought you were getting a divided Judgment Day. You’re getting the Judgment Day that runs the WWE! You’re getting the Judgment Day that runs NXT! This right here is the murderer’s row of the WWE!” Dom speaks up, and fans boo. Rhea tells them to shut up but Dom says, “And Mami-” Wait! Here comes Trick Melo Gang! Trick says whoa whoa whoa, cut the music. Rhea says NO! They did not just interrupt Dom!
Oh, sorry, but Melo was wondering why they call him “Dirty Dom.” Is it cuz all the times he dropped the so- Whoa, now! Keep it PG. Melo & Trick go to the ring, and Melo says he appreciates the Judgment Day coming. But he wants to focus on Finn. He must say, when they mention the NXT Mount Rushmore, Finn is up there and rightfully so. But looking at NXT now, it has Trick Melo influence all over. Fans chant for “MEL~O! MEL~O!” Melo says most importantly, everyone has an opinion on Finn getting the better of Melo. But understand now, Finn is in Melo’s arena. Finn is trying to ball on Melo’s court!
Rhea laughs. That is arrogance, mate. This was never about the two of them. Oh, it’s not? Then check the stats. Cuz in this building, Trick Melo Gang runs things. Priest says that’s fair. The Melo Era is real. But what Melo doesn’t have is the Judgment Day staring back at him every Tuesday night. And let’s be fair: The Archer of Infamy never missed a bull’s eye. Trick says Priest’s mouth is writing a check his ass can’t cash! WHAT?! Trick says they don’t have to talk the talk, they can be ’bout it ’bout it! Melo says they’ll keep it simple! Trick Melo Gang VS Judgment Day, tonight! But Finn says hold on now.
If Melo comes at the Prince, he best not miss. Melo smirks and takes off his sunglasses. Then let’s do this thing then. Trick Melo Gang is ready to ball, will they dunk on Finn & Senor MITB?
Video interview with Tony D’Angelo.
The Don was on video call with McKenzie Mitchell and said he appreciates the call. But they have to make this quick, it’s chow time and Giorgio is almost done with his steak. Then speaking of stakes, Stacks raises the stakes tonight against Joe Coffey. If Stacks wins, the charges are dropped on Tony and the D’Angelo Familia gets a shot at the NXT Tag Team Championships. But if he loses, Tony goes to trial. What’s Tony’s mindset? What can he do? He’s at Stacks’ mercy. They’ve known each other since they were kids, and he’s never been worried before. But then does he not trust Stacks? Hey, don’t put words in his mouth!
Then how confident is he in Stacks getting the win? He just doesn’t know Stacks anymore. Ever since being in here, he’s been hearing some bad things. And to be honest, he just doesn’t know. McKenzie hopes Stacks comes through, and he thanks her for that. But will Channing Lorenzo be able to pull off the plan? Or will Tony end up facing the judge?
Gigi Dolin speaks.
“Everyone has a dark side. I put my demons out on front street, and I never let them keep me from being me. Kiana James spends all her energy holding everything in because she’s afraid of who she really is.” Kiana says they’re not that different? Then it hurts, doesn’t it? Kiana hates Gigi because Gigi is the way Kiana wishes she could be. After that “fresh coat of paint,” Gigi redecorated Kiana’s office to remind her of what she wants to forget. Kiana wants the gloves to come off? Good! Take them off! Tear down those hypocritical walls! They aren’t so different, but what separates them is that Gigi embraces it while Kiana lives a lie. Will Gigi make Kiana face the truth in the ring?
Kiana James sees this!
And she has a freak out. How’d Gigi get those pictures?! What’s everyone else looking at? That’s not even her anymore! Kiana storms off, but will she learn to let go of her hang-ups

Bron Breakker speaks.
“Ilja Dragunov. You made a really big mistake. Cuz you weren’t even on my radar, man. And to think that I’m in your way from you getting to the NXT title? I’ve got news for you, man! I’m Badass Bron Breakker! I’m leading the way! You’ve been behind me ever since your first day in NXT. Yeah, yeah, you were champ once. I’m sure you’ll be champ again some day. But it’s not gonna come at my expense. Because tonight, there’s not gonna be enough referees or officials to hold me back from me breaking you on my way to the Bash.” Will Bron be able to break the unbreakable? Or will he be the one broken later tonight?
Von Wagner talks with Robert Stone backstage.
Von says after last week, he got a little carried away. Stone says yeah, he’d say so, after that powerbomb on Javier Bernal through the desk. But Von says Javi was talking all that crap, saying the stuff kids would to him growing up. Von’s parents tried to shield him from it, but his parents couldn’t be with him on the bus or at school. When Von looked in the mirror, knowing he had a plate keeping his skull together, it’s hard not to feel different. At school, he had no one to sit with. No one wanted to be his partner for projects. So he just said screw it! If they think he’s a monster, that is what he’ll become.
Stone says that was how Von wanted to be accepted? No, to make it through life. Von came to NXT to be the monster, but he has to admit, when he looked up and the fans were on his side, he didn’t know what to do. But for the first time in his life, he feels like he’s finally himself. And it’s Stone’s annoying, irritating little ass that he has to thank for it. They shake hands, and perhaps now Von can begin to heal. But who will he still slam through the ground on his way to the top?
Cora Jade VS Kelani Jordan w/ Dana Brooke!
The #GenerationOfJade doesn’t need anyone other than herself to get by, according to herself. But will the new girl on the block prove the Flex Appeal knows what she’s doing as a mentor?

Look into these eyes. My intensity cannot be matched! It will lead me past you, all the way to the Great American Bash and the NXT Championship.” The Czar has spoken, will he prove Bron is not badass enough to break him? That match is NEXT!
NXT shares an interview from after last week’s show.
NXT Media caught up with Gable Steveson and Eddy Thorpe after they both had a good time in the Underground. Eddy says that was special, and while Damon is special, he ain’t Eddy Thorpe. But Eddy does thank Gable for the training. NXT Media asks what is next for Gable then. Gable admits, he sent some guys flying. And the future, from the national title to the Olympics, so much to think about. But he loves being in NXT! Gable isn’t sure, just a lot to think about.

McKenzie is with the NXT North American Champion and says we know he will face Mustafa Ali at Great American Bash. Wes says it’s one and he high-fives McKenzie. And while he treats every match like it’s his biggest match, there is something different about this one. Ali is a different cat. Wes can’t get a read on Ali, which makes it hard to strategize for him, and that makes Ali dangerous. But wait, Rhea & Dom walk in. Dom says Wes is an open challenge type guy, right? Uh, well, Wes has done those before, but- Then Dom accepts. What? Dom accepts the open challenge for the North American title.
Wes tells Dom that he didn’t issue an open challenge, has Dom not been paying attention? Oh, Dom gets it. Now that Dom’s around, Wes doesn’t wanna do one. Rhea mocks the “fighting champion.” Wes says no, no, no. They didn’t let him finish. He only stopped doing that stuff cuz things got real crazy around here. But if Dom wants to get crazy, say less, we can do this now. Dom says hold on. Maybe next week. Dom wants to give Wes time to prepare. Dom & Rhea leave, and Wes says okay. Will Dirty Dom look to end Wes’s win streak before Ali ever gets his shot? Or will he just be a tune-up instead?
Baron Corbin speaks.
“I’m without a compass. With the embers still smoldering, what is my future? This house, this life. It was all built off the echoes of the last eight years. From the beginning, I’ve always said you can’t fight fate, but now, that’s exactly what I’m doing.” Corbin takes a late night drive, and says that as he looks back, he can see “something.” He sees that he had nothing in common with those he once portrayed himself to be. “But now, who the hell am I?” Corbin arrives at a strange place in the woods. Tiki torches burn, and there is a man in a hood. What has the “No BS” Corbin stumbled upon? Will it help him understand who he is?

Yes, he and Gulak are the worst people, but they taught her great stuff! She could tap just about anyone out now! She did it to Tiff! Yes, we all saw that. Duke returns to say the fans booed Tiff outta the building. The Uncrowned Women’s Champion is really getting to her. If it weren’t for those sons of- Whoa, Thea! Chase starts up a “REMATCH!” chant! Thea and Duke join in, will NXT management hear them and make it so?
Noam Dar tweets a message.
“I thought I could gather the strength to show my face in front of the NXT Universe on Supernova Sessions this Tuesday, but I simply cannot without MY NXT Heritage Cup. I am lost without it. I’m not me right now. Therefore, SNS this Tuesday is CANCELLED.” His Meta Four mates tweet their support and well wishes, but will Mr. Supernova 11 get back to 100 any time soon?
Backstage interview with Blair Davenport.
McKenzie says she brutalized Roxanne Perez, but Blair cuts her off. Is McKenzie gonna ask Blair how she could possibly destroy such a “sweet and innocent little girl like Roxanne?” How she jacked that jaw, picked up that lifeless body and rammed her knee into that skull again and again? Roxie was a decorated champion, until Blair arrived. Now, this division is for grown ass women! Not fragile little girls with ribbons in their hair. Yes, Roxie will want another shot with her never-say-die spirit, but girls like Roxanne don’t beat people like Blair. And when Roxie returns, Blair will leave her like she did Nikkita, Wendy and Sol: on the shelf.

The Schism find Ivy backstage.
Oh, look who it is. The lone survivor of Diamond Mine. Once a great faction, now all but extinct. Ivy says sorry, she didn’t recognize them without their loaded masks. If not for Gacy, Julius & Brutus would’ve beaten The Dyad. Gacy says that wasn’t him, he was ejected from ringside. How would he have even made his way back in? Rip Fowler tells Ivy to open her eyes and take a look around. Jagger Reed says the Schism’s tree is blossoming, stronger than ever. Ava Raine says there’s always room for one more. The Schism leaves Ivy to think on that, but the last two masked followers… Something seems familiar…
Backstage interview with Yulisa Leon & Valentina Feroz.
McKenzie wants their thoughts on Dar being “too distracted” to host his talk show tonight. Feroz says that’s pathetic. Leon agrees, all this moping is just annoying. Feroz gets all fired up, Leon has her calm down, but then in walk Los Lotharios. Humbert Carrillo asks them what’s wrong, why the long faces? And Angel Garza suggests they all spend the rest of the evening together, and maybe find a way to put smiles back on those beautiful faces. Leon says nope! Next time, they should think before trying to hit on them. And then Dragon Lee & Nathan Frazer walk in. Everything okay here? Is there a problem?
Angel smiles and says no. Then jog on. Los Lotharios leave, will their energies be better spent on climbing the tag team rankings rather than working on their love lives?
Carmelo Hayes & Trick Williams VS Finn Balor & Damian Priest w/ The Judgment Day!
Trick Melo Gang made sure The Prince didn’t add onto what Seth Rollins had been through at Gold Rush, and that didn’t sit well with The Judgment Day. Will Finn and Senor Money in the Bank punish Melo & Trick for interfering in Judgment Day business? Or will Trick Melo Gang handle business on their home court?

The Judgment Day regroups on the outside and calm down, but Trick Melo Gang WRECK them with double dropkicks! Melo puts Finn in, Dom & Rhea talk trash on him but he gives it back. Melo whips Finn to a corner, runs in, but is put on the apron. Melo GAMANGIRIS Finn, but Priest trips Melo up! Fans boo but Finn springboard stomps away on Melo! Winners: The Judgment Day, by pinfall
They used all their tricks, but the Judgment Day still brought down HIM. And speaking of, Melo blames Dragunov! Dragunov defends he was making the save, but it doesn’t really matter now. Will Melo and Dragunov have it out at the Great American Bash?
My Thoughts:
Great stuff from NXT and we’re getting on the road to the Great American Bash. Great stuff from Judgment Day all night, as usual, with a great promo to start the night that naturally set up the main event. The main event was great, too, with Judgment Day keeping things together since there’s nothing on NXT for them to argue over. And Dom stepping to Wes was even a good promo, because of course Dom’s ego has been built up to where he thinks he can just take a midcard title. Dom VS Wes will be great stuff but I expect something to happen where Wes retains and still defends against Ali at GAB.
Good move having Dragunov make the save but fail to put heat into his title feud with Melo. Just an awesome match between Dragunov and Bron, and naturally Dragunov got the win. Bron’s already faced Melo and lost twice, Bron really does need to move on to either another title or just RawDown in the post-SummerSlam phase. Melo VS Dragunov is going to be an awesome match, too, and honestly feels like it could go either way. Dragunov has been NXT UK Champion, he knows what it is to be the face of a brand, so he doesn’t have to win against Melo. But at the same time, if he loses, it feels like Dragunov could just move to SmackDown and get after the US title.
Speaking of moving on from NXT, I swear, Julius & Brutus were those last two Schism masked minions. One was tall, the other was bulky, and they did glance at Ivy before moving on. It’d be a strange but somewhat clever and funny move if they refused to move on because of the controversy in their tag match. Ivy VS Tiff was good but I figured Tiff was going to find a way to win. But at the same time, it seems Thea will get another shot, and maybe at GAB. Chase U winning over Gulak & Dempsey was a surprise, maybe they claim shenanigans and get a rematch with Chase & Duke. Maybe even another Mixed Six? That seems to be NXT’s go-to move at this point in time.
Good promo from Eddy Thorpe and Gable Steveson to add to their NXT Underground segment. If Steveson comes back or not, I don’t really care either way, but WWE has put this much investment into him, it’d be a shame for them if there wasn’t more going on. But I like Dijak looking down on Eddy’s win, and that could be a really good next feud. And good promos from Gigi and Kiana to add to their rematch. It doesn’t sound like it’ll be No Disqualification even though it should, but I’m sure they’ll still give us great stuff in a standard match. Maybe, like the Gigi VS Jacy feud, we’ll get something really big for their blowoff.
Good match from Cora VS Kelani, and Kelani had some unique moves out there already. But of course Cora finds a way to win, and of course Dana saves Kelani from Cora adding on. Cora VS Dana could also be something with raised stakes like No Disqualification, or because Cora always brings one around, some kinda kendo stick match. And good promo from Blair to keep the feud with Roxie going. Their rematch is also going to be really good, can’t wait to see that. Good promo from Nathan Frazer and friends with Los Lotharios. I guess Angel & Humberto are bringing the thirsty back into this era of NXT, and there’s definitely a match there of Los Lotharios VS Frazer & Dragon.
Dar had a pretty funny tweet “promo,” though I kinda wish they would’ve given us a very sad Supernova Sessions. And I’m thinkin Oro, Lash & Jakara are going to ask HBK give Dar a rematch for the Heritage Cup at GAB so Dar can snap out of his funk. And I’m really appreciating everything they’re doing in this Von Wagner story. It is genuine and heartfelt, and a lot of people can speak to how bullying feels, and maybe even using it as motivation to get big and strong and mean like Von did. Now, Von does need to get back to winning matches, but he can basically be like a Braun Strowman type Face where he’s destroying stuff, like his opponents, and still getting cheered. Then he can be waiting in the wings for a showdown with a Heel champion on whatever level they want him to be.
But now for some confusion. Baron Corbin said he wasn’t gonna be a gimmicky “BS” character, but then what is this with the tiki torches and the mysterious hooded man in the woods? Is Corbin going to fight himself in some kind of cinematic? Actually, that’d be kinda cool. Very Bray Wyatt Firefly Funhouse making Cena relive his past and admit to his flaws. No idea what it’d do for Corbin, though. And then in the Tony D’Angelo story, I knew Stacks was going to get him his freedom, but tonight’s story beat was a bit of a stumble. The reveal that Stacks & Tony were tricking Gallus all along didn’t really land until Tony spelled it out for all of us on that “phone call.”
And even then, that seems like a really strange move. Tony risked being put on trial all for a title match? Seems like a big gamble, but I guess it all worked out for them because pro-wrestling is still a form of television drama. But I’m also curious as to how Nima & Price were simply watching parts of the tag division tonight, and then gave a general warning to Gallus. I suppose Tony & Stacks aren’t necessarily guaranteed the tag titles at GAB, but it feels like that’s how this story should conclude, and then Nima & Price just have a really good feud with Gallus to earn their own shot? There’s still time before GAB, I kinda hope there’s a way to make this another classic NXT Tag Team Championship Ladder match, like in the black ‘n’ gold era.
My Score: 8.6/10

Tony Schiavone is in the ring!
He welcomes us to Dynamite tonight in El Paso, and he welcomes out the 2025 Men’s Owen Hart Cup winner, Hangman Adam Page! The fans fire up as The Blackhat Cowboy walks out, King of Harts belt around his waist, and Schiavone brings up the great response from the fans. Hangman won The Owen in a dramatic classic on Sunday. The fans cheer, “You Deserve It!” as Hangman takes the mic. Hangman says, “Triumph. Triumph in life is fleeting, it’s momentary. You’re on top of the world for the night, and you wake up in the morning, and the moment you realize has passed you. But so is defeat.
“And in the past two years, and if I’m completely honest with myself, in the past three years, that is something that I let myself lose sight of. Because what matters is not the win, it is not the loss, it is what you decide to do with it that matters!” The fans cheer that! Hangman says at Double or nothing, two men entered the ring, and they both knew one would leave defeated. So before Hangman continues, he will say this to Will Ospreay. “Thank you. Thank you for the fight of my life! Thank you for reminding me why I decided to do this in the first place! And thank you for dispelling any notion that i had that you could not be the type of man to carry this company forward, because you can be!”
The fans cheer and chant for “Ospreay! Ospreay!” Hangman then says, while one tasted defeat, the other would taste victory. But he cannot relish in it! This moment is temporary and fleeting. Hangman will not hold this title, carry it or defend it. There will be another Owen Hart Cup, there will be another King of Harts. For now, Hangman returns this belt to AEW. Schiavone takes custody of the belt, and Hangman says he could stay out here all night and tell you how much this all truly means to him. But now, he must look forward to the one thing that for him, this has always been about: THE AEW World Championship!
The fans cheer that, and Hangman says that title has been the prize, the accomplishment, and the responsibility he has chased from the very moment we saw these three letters together for the first time. The fans chant “A E DUB! A E DUB!” Hangman says for seven MONTHS, that title has been hidden from the world, locked away in a briefcase. The fans boo, but Hangman says to him, that title was to be a shining light! A beacon to show the world what these three letters meant! It was about competition! About creativity! Compassion! Passion! And human dignity with which we all treat each other! That is what this is about!
The fans cheer more, and Hangman says on his first day in AEW, he told all of us, both here tonight and watching at home, that while he was here, we would be his boss. Tonight, he makes a promise. In seven weeks, here in Texas, Hangman will win the AEW World Championship! He will free it from the briefcase! He will hold it above his head for all the world to see! He will carry it and defend it with every ounce of his being, and that is a promise he will keep! But then “Whose House?” “SWERVE’S HOUSE!” Hangman is stunned, but here comes The Realest! Swerve steps into the ring to stare Hangman down, and Schiavone steps aside.
Swerve says, “I bet you wanna know why I’m here. So allow me to educate you and the fine people of El Paso, Texas why I’m here.” Swerve signals to the tron, and we flashback to April 9th of this year. Nick Jackson was explaining why The Young Bucks went and cost Swerve Strickland the AEW World Championship. They did it for their “good friend,” Hangman Page! Hangman wanted this! Swerve could not be world champion again, and The Bucks did that for him! They do not forget who their friends are! They love him, and they know he loves them. The fans boo and Swerve says he was looking at the same opportunity Hangman conveniently has now.
At Dynasty, the main event, Swerve had Moxley, he had the match won! And then so conveniently, The Bucks show up, who Swerve hadn’t bothered with since Blood & Guts, and they cost Swerve. But y’know who else was in the ring that night? Hangman Page. It is so funny how Hangman has his path to the title off Swerve’s loss. Swerve calls collusion! Hangman wants to make promises to the people of Texas? Let’s talk about a promise Hangman made. Hangman told Swerve to his face, in front of the world, that Hangman would never let Swerve be AEW World Champion again.
So Swerve is here now, staring Hangman down man to man, and he will ask Hangman, so don’t lie to him. Did Hangman do this? The fans chant “Tell The Truth! Tell The Truth!” Hangman says, “Well, dumbass… At Dynasty, I locked my eyes on you. Then I locked my eyes on Jon Moxley. And for one God forsaken second, I even thought about helping you. Swerve, if I had wanted to cost you that match, I would have done it myself to your face, because I have done it before.” The fans are torn, but Swerve says, “Sounds good, but you’re still full of sh*t.” The two jaw at each other while the fans rally up, but here comes Ospreay!
The fans cheer as the Aerial Assassin makes his way to the ring, and he has Swerve and Hangman back up. The fans are losing their minds seeing all three guys together. Ospreay borrows Swerve’s mic, and he looks to Hangman. The fans chant “BRUV! BRUV!” Ospreay then looks to Swerve, and Ospreay says he hates getting involved in Swerve’s business. Swerve has looked after Ospreay since he was 20 years old, he’s like a big brother. “But you’re wrong about him.” Ospreay defends Hangman, saying you learn a lot about someone getting in the ring with them when the stakes are high. And stakes couldn’t get any higher on Sunday.
On Sunday, Ospreay left it all in the ring with Hangman, and he has never felt more defeated in his entire life. Hangman had an important decision to make. He walked up the ramp, turned back, picked Ospreay up, and he shook Ospreay’s hand like a man. Ospreay looked in Hangman’s eyes, and he could see that Hangman cares about AEW. It is funny, because Ospreay had that same feeling when he lost to Swerve last year and then did the same thing. Swerve picked Ospreay up. Look around. The fans cheer, and Ospreay tells them both, “People are starting to believe in us again. I hate saying this to you, because I love you… But it is not you. I thought it was me, and it’s not me. It’s HIM!”
The fans cheer, and Ospreay wants Swerve to look at him. They have one shot at this. And they can make this easier on Hangman if they all work together. Swerve, Ospreay, Hangman- Swerve SLAPS the mic down! Ospreay wants Swerve to calm it down but Swerve says he will never work with Hangman, never trust Hangman, and never forgive Hangman! Swerve storms off and Ospreay is disappointed. The fans boo, but Ospreay tells Hangman to let that go. Hangman says he will work with Ospreay, but he will not work with Swerve either. Hangman storms off now, but will these bitter enemies ever realize this is bigger than them?
The Death Riders arrive.
Claudio parks the truck, and everybody spills out of the back. Moxley leads the way for Marina Shafir, Wheeler Yuta, and even Gabe Kidd. Moxley says, “Welcome to Dynamite.” They step into the building, find their way to the crowd, and they’re ready to redeem themselves from losing Anarchy in the Arena. But will they tear up Swerve’s allies to send a message? Or will this conglomeration come out on top?

This was the fifth consecutive, successful title defense of the AEW Tag Team Championships, and the debut of the young genius, Maxwell Jacob Friedman, as a full-fledged member of the Hurt Syndicate.” MJF says, “Bobby & Shelton are the most dominate tag team in the world today. Think of any top tag team in this sport, anyone, they’d beat ’em clean, easy. These belts ain’t going nowhere. Now that I am in the Hurt Syndicate, I am gonna make sure of that. And the Syndicate, we roll together, so we’re all collectively going to make sure we’re all strapped in gold.
“As far as my Triple B goes, my Big Beautiful Belt, my AEW World title is concerned, it will soon be around my waist. And if you find yourself in between the Hurt Syndicate and our goals, don’t be surprised if you wake up face down in a pool of your own piss and blood. But hey, man, when it comes to the Syndicate, it ain’t personal. It’s just business.” They all fist bump, but who will be next to step up and get stepped on?
Megan Bayne & Penelope Ford speak.
The Superbad Girl says Anna Jay & Harley Cameron had to cheat to beat them on Sunday. Tonight, it is NO DISQUALIFICATIONS, just like Anna & Harley have always wanted. The Megasus says that means they are her next sacrifice. Will the path of destruction only be more destructive now that Megan doesn’t have to hold back?
Ricochet speaks.
The One & Only says, “I had told that everybody after Double or Nothing, after I had laid wasted to Mark Briscoe, I would continue my quest for gold. A quest that I have been on since day one here in AEW. But I stopped, and I take a second, and I look around AEW, and I get the lay of the land, and I start to see the landscape for what it actually is. I see the Death Riders, I see The Opps, I see the Don Callis Family, I see the Hurt Syndicate, and I think to myself… Ricochet needs a group. Ricochet needs a crew. Ricochet needs some loyal subjects that will follow and help him on his quest for gold.
“And once I do, once I find the perfect crew, then I will continue to show everybody why Ricochet is simply Outta This World. AHA~!”

BREAKING NEWS for Collision!
On top of the other two International Championship qualifiers, Claudio VS Komander and Hechicero VS Mascara Dorada, we will have Mina Shirakawa VS Skye Blue! Plus, after the confrontation during the TNT Championship match, Paragon battles RPG Vice, but with some added names to the mix! RPG Vice bring in NEVER Openweight Champion, Konosuke Takeshita, while Roddy & Kyle conglomerate with NJPW Strong Openweight Champion, Tomohiro Ishii! Could this Six Man Tag open some doors to more golden opportunities?
Kyle Fletcher speaks.
The Protostar does not know whose call that was, whether it was Callis or Alexander, but he doesn’t care, because he does NOT need help out there, and certainly not to beat Adam Cole! He should be standing here as the NEW TNT Champion! But speaking of Cole, he comes running in and the two start throwing hands! Kyle has a GUILLOTINE FACELOCK! Security rushes out, separates the two, and Cole says Kyle is a dead man! Cole knows he had Kyle beat, but when and where will these two put the claims to rest?
Mercedes Mone heads to the ring!
The CEO struts her way out, carrying all her belts, the Owen Hart Cup on display. Mone grabs a mic and says, “El Pasooooo~! I now stand before you not only as the greatest TBS & Rev-Pro Champion of all time… But as the greatest winner of the Owen Hart Foundation Tournament!” The fans are torn, but Mone says the legends, Owen Hart and her hero, Eddie Guerrero… The fans cheer for El Paso’s own, the late, great Latino Heat, and Mone says they do NOT compare to the greatness of Mone! That is why she is the CEO of AEW! But wait! Timeless Toni Storm makes her way out here! This face-to-face is now official as the AEW Women’s World Champion steps into the ring.
The fans cheer for Toni, and the two champions eye each other while Toni gets herself a mic. Toni kicks off the shoes and sets her belt down on the mat. Mone says, “Toni, darling, we finally meet.” The fans applaud that, and Mone says she knows these AEW fans are so sick of the black ‘n’ white. They want a champion full of color! The fans boo that, but Toni says, “Hello, Mercedes. I have waited so long for you. 441 days ago, you arrived in AEW on a show named after you. And since then, you’ve won titles, you’ve made history, and you’ve remained undefeated. But you have never once spoke to me. You have never once looked at me.
“You said that you’ve been watching me since before you even came here. You told Antony Khan that this was the one match you wanted to have. So, darling, what took you so long?” The fans cheer, and Mone says back, “What took me so long? Patience, darling, patience.” The fans boo, but Mone says this isn’t about Toni, this is about Mone and her legacy. And you think she’s going to go around backstage shaking just anybody’s hand? When Mone is the Beyonce of Women’s Wrestling? You gotta be kidding! The fans boo but Mone asks Toni, “Do you not know who I am? I am the standard, I am the conversation, I am the blueprint, I AM the revolution!”
Fans are torn, but Toni smirks as there are those who chant, “No, You’re Not! No, You’re Not!” Toni says she is the Toni Storm of Pro-Wrestling, and she swears to an unknown God that you have NEVER met anyone like her! The fans cheer that! Mone says yes, that’s right. This Toni, this “shy, nervous Toni Storm that I met ten years ago,” is very different. But so is Mone. Mone is not just a Boss, she is a CEO. She has beaten the very best from all over the world, from Mexico to Japan to England. And now at All In: Texas, Mone is bringing it home. We will have THE greatest women’s match of all time! Fans like the sound of that.
Toni says they have so many similarities. They both started so young, struggled on the indies, found success, were given trophies and flowers, and when those weren’t enough, they left it all behind to follow their hearts. And in AEW, they became exactly who they are meant to be! The fans cheer that! Mone nods, and Toni continues: There is one glaring difference. While Mone wants all the titles, Toni needs only one. Toni has lived for this title, she has cried for this title, she has bled for this title, and she has DIED for this title! The fans chant, “She’s Our Champion! Toni! Toni!” Mone is annoyed, but Toni keeps going.
“So if you want to ride the Money Train through the Toni Tunnel, I just hope you can get deep enough.” The fans cheer that! Mone says not even Toni’s hips are wide enough for the Money Train! Toni says 45 days form now, they will meet again in Texas. And somewhere in the world, a little girl with big dreams will be watching. She will say, “Holy S*IT, these b*tches are crazy!” And then, that little girl will find out who the better woman is! Toni sincerely believes Mone is the greatest of all time. But unfortunately for Mone, Toni happens to be TIMELESS~! The fans cheer that, and Mone scowls.
Mone tells Toni that Toni may call herself timeless, but what she deserves is for her time to come an end! Mone will see Toni at All In! Toni says, “See you at All In, darling.” The fans fire up as Mone puts her other belts aside to offer a handshake. Toin smiles and accepts. Then they bring each other in to stare down. Toni smells Mone, and then kisses Mone on the hand. Mone reels Toni in for a Gory Especial! Toni fights out to reel Mone in! Mone scrambles free of the driver, and the fans fire up! That was just a taste of what’s to come, but who will taste sweet victory when these two battle it out in Globe Life Field?
My Thoughts:
A great Dynamite to follow Double or Nothing while building to Fyter Fest and All In. Excalibur said himself that tonight paralleled Double or Nothing by bookending things with the Owen Hart Cup stories. Great opening promo from Hangman, Swerve and Ospreay. Swerve did have a good point of asking if Hangman was in cahoots with The Bucks, but we also know that’s not the case. And of course Swerve and Hangman will be at odds during this whole All In build. But just as likely, we will get a great “Avengers working together” kind of moment to finally take out the Death Riders and get that title off Moxley.
Great closing promo from Toni and Mone, with a good reference back to their time in WWE. I’m still hoping for them to put all the belts on the line so that they are truly going all in. But the tease of someone taking a finisher to the belt was good stuff. 45 days of build, who knows what else we get, but there’s also no guarantee that Mone keeps the TBS Championship. It’d be wild if someone took that title from her on the way, but it could be a point of pressure that Mone has to defend her other belts while Toni only has to worry about one.
Good debut for Thekla tonight, it was very in line with a Malakai/Aleister Black debut. Hayter seems to automatically be the woman who faces returning and debuting wrestlers and that’s not a bad spot, but it would be nice if she got to do title stuff. Great women’s tag match, and kudos to Harley fighting through a broken nose. But in the end, the Heels winning made sense when they lost at Double or Nothing. There’s talk of tag titles coming, but I don’t have faith in that when TK’s pacing of the women’s division still hasn’t improved. The current example is the poor planning he has with the ROH Women’s Pure Championship.
RIP the Frat House, their ceiling is ROH after getting crushed by The Opps. A little surprised we didn’t get Hook showing up or having a promo, but maybe that happens for Collision. The Mixed Six Tag was great stuff, and throwing Speedball in there was a little surprising until it was clear the Death Riders were winning that. Good promo from Hurt Syndicate, but every time MJF talks about “his” world title, it feels like Lashley wants to roll his eyes or something, because duh, why wouldn’t he and Shelton want their own shots at that title? If Moxley does lose at All In, and MJF goes after Hangman, you can bet MJF and Lashley butt heads again over who really gets the title match.
Good promo from Ricochet, but I wonder… Ricochet wants a crew, there’s a duo named CRU… Is Ricochet going to lead Lio & Action as a trio? And if it isn’t CRU, who would fall in line behind Ricochet? Unless that’s the point of his next story arc: failing to make a faction because he’s that insufferable. And great Don Callis Family stuff tonight. Cole VS Kyle was great, good move for Paragon to go after them, and that Six Man Tag on Collision will be fun. Alexander running out there really was confusing, not just kayfabe, but maybe they want to give Kyle an out. Kyle is great as a wrestler and a personality, fans surely will cheer for him over the rest of Callis Family, but we’ll wait and see how Cole VS Kyle 2 goes.
Alexander VS Brody was a great main event match, with great story of going after Brody’s hand. Alexander getting busted open hard way from perhaps that top rope stuff did add something. And honestly, I’m pleasantly surprised by Brody winning. Brody and Omega alone is great, but then it’ll surely be Claudio over Komander, and now Hechicero over Mascara Dorada to keep the two Faces and two Heels ratio.
My Score: 8.9/10

And now Sho & Yujiro help stomp away on Wato! But here comes Yoh! Direct Drive saves his tag partner and runs off The House! He even gets a chair! Yoh wants them to man up, but that’s not happening. But now, with Hiromu Takahashi having beat Wato and issuing the tag title challenge, and now Kanemaru winning tonight… Could we really be seeing such an odd couple as Timebomb & Heel Master going for the tag titles?

Winner: Robbie X, by pinfall (gains 2 points; Connors earns 0)
So what if he was the underdog? So what if he’s last place? So what if he replaced Bushi in the block? Robbie X just beat the most decorated Super Junior alive today! And that means the winner of A Block is KOSEI FUJITA! Hiromu is furious, but Fujita walks back out here to have the spotlight! Fujita and Hiromu cross paths, and Hiromu pats Fujita on the shoulder as he exits. Fujita goes to the ring, and Robbie invites him in given Robbie won the main event. Robbie tells Fujita to get this in his little brain: Robbie beat Fujita, he beat Hiromu, so… If Fujita wins this whole thing and beats El Desperado, do what is right!
Robbie wants the first championship match with Fujita! The fans like that, and Fujita nods in agreement. Robbie leaves, will Mr. X have his chance at gold? As for Fujita, he grabs the mic to say, “Sorry to those of you who may have wanted to hear more from Robbie X. But if I’m in the position of naming challengers, then I will give him the first title shot.” The fans applaud, and Fujita continues on. “I won this A Block.” The fans applaud that, too, and Fujita says he’ll take “all the hope, hate and then I’ll win. That’s all!” The Japanese Young Punk keeps it short and sweet, but will the Ichiban Sweet Boy become the Best of the Super Juniors?
Here are the FINAL A Block standings!
Kosei Fujita: 5-4, 10 points [FINALIST]
Hiromu Takahashi: 5-4, 10 points [ELIMINATED]
Master Wato: 5-4, 10 points [ELIMINATED]
Francesco Akira: 5-4, 10 points [ELIMINATED]
Clark Connors: 5-4, 10 points [ELIMINATED]
KUSHIDA: 4-5, 8 points [ELIMINATED]
Ninja Mack: 4-5, 8 points [ELIMINATED]
Dragon Dia: 4-5, 8 points [ELIMINATED]
Yoshinobu Kanemaru: 4-5, 8 points [ELIMINATED]
Robbie X: 4-5, 8 points [ELIMINATED]
My Thoughts:
An awesome start to the ninth round, and it is always fun to have these final playoff scenarios sort out. Mack VS Dia was great, even for not affecting anything, and I really do hope these two guys become the next big thing. I figured Kanemaru would screw Wato over with help from Sho & Yujiro, and this definitely feeds into the tag title story that involves Hiromu. Fujita overcoming Connors and Robbie X getting the upset on Hiromu was all awesome stuff, and I like the gentlemen’s agreement that Robbie will be the lineal contender should Fujita win the title. B Block is going to be awesome, I’m sure, and there are all sorts of great choices for Fujita’s opponent.
My Score: 9.1/10
