BWN got preempted for a day due to Game 7 of the Stanley Cup Final. But that does not mean that there is not a lot to discuss on this week’s installment of BWN. The Nerds continue their review of The Boys, Season 4. This week, they review Episodes 3 & 4 and in the immortal words of Dr. Peter Venkman, Homelander has gone bye-bye. Things go from bad to very worse over these two Episodes and the gang has you covered with all the details. A visit to the Trailer Park finds the Nerds checking out the latest trailers for Kinds of Kindness, Smile 2 and The Penguin. In News Around the Nerdosphere, they guys explore the possibility of a Netflix-centric theme park (of sorts), confirm that Spaceballs 2 is happening, mourn the loss of Donald Sutherland, and try to come to grips with the possibility that Star Wars could go R-rated?

This week, Patrick is back just in time for the Nerds to embark upon a fun, one-day project. On this Episode, we have our first-ever Movie Year Draft. The rules were simple (even though Dave kind of messed it up) … pick a year and justify that year as being one of the best for movies by listing at least four standout films. Simple enough. Suffice it to say that with 20 years eligible for consideration and discussion, almost everyone’s favorite will be discussed at some point in the countdown. The guys also return to the Trailer Park to look at the latest for Alien: Earth, Wicked For Good, and Deep Cover. In News Around the Nerdosphere, the quest to find Michael J. Fox’s guitar from Back to the Future takes shape, and a front-runner may have emerged to take the reins at Disney. All that and more on another great installment of Bandwagon Nerds.

This week, the Bandwagon is stripped down again as the dynamic duo of Dave and Tunney guide you through the week around the Nerdosphere. Netflix had its annual fan event and mega-preview party, Tudum. The event has become notorious for dumping a slew of trailers for almost all of Netflix’s upcoming projects for the next 9-12 months. This year was no exception, and we received trailers for eagerly anticipated projects like Frankenstein, Squid Game Season 3, Happy Gilmore 2, and the long-awaited announcement about Stranger Things Season 5, along with the release dates for the separate volumes of the final season. Amazon Prime, not wanting to be left out, dropped a trailer for Season 2 of Gen V. The guys then examine the significant drop in viewers for the season finale of The Last of Us and question whether the series could be at risk of cancellation. This fate befell another popular franchise as The Wheel of Time was canceled by Prime. Are there hidden similarities between the two shows that should concern fans of HBO Max’s most popular series of all time? As if HBO Max didn’t have enough problems, we’ve been informed that the three lead roles for the Harry Potter reboot have been cast. Do these kids stand a chance, or will they be crushed by the inevitable comparison to the original three actors from the movie franchise? In much better news, though, DC and Marvel Comics are on the verge of releasing the first crossover event in over 20 years. With the two comics’ super-powers working together, Dave and Tunney ponder what other crossovers they might want to see.
