AEW “American” Championship Eliminator: MJF VS Kyle Fletcher!
The Wolf of Wrestling, who’s been more like a worm than anything, was willing to up the stakes on his match with the Aussie Arrow, but only so far. If “Koyle Fletcha” wins tonight, he’ll get another match that’s actually for the title, meaning the All In card could potentially change. Will The Protostar outshine this star-spangled narcissist? Or will he be just an example of what this “American Hero” is going to do to Will Ospreay?
Speaking of, Ospreay is watching backstage, both for keeping an eye on MJF but also keeping an eye on his best friend. MJF runs up, KANGAROO KICK!! Then he drags Kyle up to suplex and BRAINBUSTER!! Cover, MJF wins!
Winner: MJF, by pinfall (denies Kyle Fletcher a title opportunity)
Callis tried to help in his own screwed up way, but it was perhaps the reason Kyle lost. MJF clears his path to Wembley, will he be able to focus on Will Ospreay?
Speaking of Ospreay, he wants to storm out there, but something is blocking his locker room door! He shoves harder and finds it’s road cases! Did MJF sabotage Ospreay like he did with the rental car a few weeks ago? Either way, Ospreay hurries from there to gorilla! Kyle regains consciousness, Ospreay explains about the road cases and Callis can’t believe MJF would do this.
Did MJF still do what he said by sending a message to Ospreay? Will the Aerial Assassin have the perfect response come Wembley?
Mariah May VS Viva Van!
The Glamour is back in action because she will not be outdone by Toni Storm. Even after a vicious brawl between them, The Leading Lady still won her match on Collision. Will Mariah do that and more here tonight on Dynamite? Or can The Hellbent Vixen throw the 2024 Queen of Harts off her game?

Jack Perry watches back tape.
Specifically, Darby setting him on fire at Double or Nothing, and Darby wanting to set him on fire at Blood & Guts. “Everything in life has a price. The question is how much you’re willing to sacrifice for it.” Darby was TNT Champion, and he wants to be TNT Champion again. There is footage of other TNT Champions in the mix, such as Adam Copeland, Samoa Joe, Sammy Guevara and Scorpio Sky. “Those who shape the future carry the burden of destroying the past.” Jack SMASHES the screens with a fire ax! And only The Scapegoat remains. Will he make sure that’s how it is after All In?
Darby Allin speaks.
“Last time me and Jack were in the ring together, everyone was asking me, why didn’t I just light him on fire and end this whole thing? It’s simple. Cuz you (Jack) would have every excuse not to show up at Wembley. TNT Champion? I don’t even know the last time you’ve been on TNT. Well, you talk about sacrifice, ‘You gotta sacrifice this, you gotta sacrifice this.’ You don’t have to sacrifice any more of your time, Jack. You don’t gotta show up on Dynamite, you don’t even gotta show up this Friday on Rampage when I wrestle in Winston-Salem. You don’t even gotta show up on Collision. But you gotta show up at All In in Wembley.”
The Relentless One has put Jack Perry on notice, will The Scapegoat be the one sacrificed in the end?

The Wrestler wants revenge for everything The Bad Apple and his new mentor, “The Learning Tree,” have done over the past two months. Backstage interview with Orange Cassidy.
Renee Paquette is with Freshly Squeezed, and notes he wanted a rematch with Roderick Strong, Rush & The Beast Mortos, but unfortunately, the rest of The Conglomeration is not here. Travel issues abound because of Tropical Storm turned Hurricane Debby, so what is Cassidy going to do? Cassidy says he’ll still go out there. Wait, is he sure that’s a good idea? Probably not. Though, Cassidy did find a few local boys that were looking for a fight, so here we are. Okay, then, just let Renee know if Cassidy needs anything. Does she wanna wrestle for him? Nope. Yeah, he didn’t think so. But then just who did Cassidy find to team with? We’ll just have to wait and see.
Backstage interview with Hangman Page.
Renee is with The Black Hat Cowboy and brings up last week, his loss to Darby Allin. Ever since Hangman’s return, from The Owen Hart Cup to Blood & Guts to even last week, he hasn’t exactly been getting the outcomes he’s wanted. Hangman says there has been one thing, one man, that he wanted to take everything from. “To leave him with nothing but the ash of his pride. But for that one man, there had to be a dozen or more other dumbasses to get in my way! And justice delayed is justice denied!” Hangman says look at him and believe when he says that he will have what he wants. It’s fairly certain who that one man is, but when and where will Hangman get his shot at him?
Jim Ross has a sit-down interview with Swerve Strickland.
Good ol’ JR is with the AEW World Champion, and is just excited about what the fans are going to see. JR isn’t sure enough of them even understand what they’ll miss not watching All In. It motivates JR as a broadcaster, so does it motivate Swerve as a wrestler? Absolutely, and in every single way. Every fiber of Swerve’s being, every molecule in his body, is beyond motivated. Taking on legends at All In, losing there, but then coming back to be in the main event a year later, that means the world to Swerve. That path truly changed him as an individual.
JR admits, Swerve’s done some controversial things. Swerve says for sure. Is there any remorse over those actions? Or was it more, he did them because he “had to?” Swerve says that as he’s said before, you knock on the door long enough and no one lets you in, you gotta make more noise. And if you make enough noise, people listen. Then as Swerve thinks back on the violence, the punishment that Bryan Danielson inflicts… Swerve says no, he has not overlooked how physical this match is going to really be. JR agrees there, too. Swerve was sitting back watching Bryan kick people’s teeth out quite literally, and on TV.
Swerve knows what Bryan has left in him, and that is why Bryan is fighting as hard as he is, especially against Swerve because Bryan knows how hard it is to face Swerve. JR says Bryan is wrestling this match as if it is his last, and it very well could be. Win, lose or draw, this is it. Swerve says even before thinking about the title, as if that wasn’t enough of a motivator for Bryan, Bryan has made it about legacy. That is what is on the line. Bryan is at a crossroads over the simple fact that, “Who is Bryan without wrestling?” Bryan needs something to get up and fight for, and without that something, who is he really?
Swerve wonders, if roles were reversed, would Bryan give a damn about Swerve? Would anyone that swerve was on his way out? JR says that in all honestly, they shouldn’t. Swerve says that’s right, so why should he care about Bryan? Swerve is in the driver’s seat, he controls the narrative, the fate, the future. That is what worries some people about Swerve having the world title, and it should worry Bryan, too. Because well, does Swerve really care about Bryan being a father? No. Going home to his family? No, not really.
JR says this will be the toughest match of Swerve’s career, and Swerve asks why. What happens when Bryan’s body gives out on him? What if those arms just don’t work anymore? Or his neck seizes up? Everyone talks about what they’ll do to inflict pain on someone else, that is what makes them “so good” or “so dangerous.” But what do you do when none of that works because your body doesn’t work? JR says Bryan is still going to be hard to beat, so can Swerve beat him? Swerve says no only can he, he will beat Bryan Danielson at Wembley Stadium. That legacy will belong to him now. The American Dragon is stepping into Swerve’s House, will he not make it out?

Dax stays in this, but Mortos stomps him down. Tag to Rush, he scuffs Dax then stomps him more. Rush kicks Dax around, then clamps on a chinlock. Dynamite returns to single picture while Dax endures and fights up. Dax fires body shots, then CHOPS! Rush CHOPS again! Dax staggers back, Rush CHOPS again! Dax fires hands on everyone! Dax bobs ‘n’ weaves, so does Rush, and DOUBLE HAYMAKERS take both men down!
The fans are thunderous as Dax and Rush crawl. But Rush anchors Dax’s leg, and Roddy runs up on Cash! APRON BACK SUPLEX!! Cash flops down, Mortos runs up on Cassidy! Cassidy POSTS Mortos first! Dax ROCKS Rush, hot tag to Cassidy! Cassidy goes up to CROSSBODY! Cassidy runs, tilt-o-whirls and RANAS Rush out! Roddy’s back but Cash tilt-o-whirl DDTS! Mortos returns but Cassidy dodges him to then DIVE onto Roddy! Cassidy again ducks ‘n’ dodges Mortos, DEJA VU times two for a DDT!! The fans are thunderous as Cassidy stands tall! Cassidy takes off the elbow pad and takes aim from the corner!
But Roddy runs up again! Cassidy DECKS him first! Mortos SPEARS Cassidy!! Dax returns, Mortos dodges to SPEAR! Cash runs up, hurdles, but Mortos leaps, into a POWERSLAM from Cash! Rush runs up, wrenches and SAIDOS Cash! Rush roars, but Cassidy is there to Alabama Lift! BEACH BREAK!! Cover, ONE?!? The fans are thunderous, Cassidy seethes, and he drags Rush up. Cover, CASH BREAKS IT!
The fans fire up as Cash CHOPS Roddy! Mortos HEADBUTTS Cash! Mortos then DIVES to TORNILLO TOPE! Down goes Cash at the ramp! The fans are thunderous as Mortos runs at Cassidy! Cassidy ducks and Mortos’ CROSSBODY sends him over the railing, and onto The Kingdom!! Bennett & Taven pay for earlier, but Roddy suplexes Cassidy! Only to get STUN DOG MILLIONAIRE! Double-edged for Cassidy’s tailbone, but then Rush CLOBBERS Dax in the ring! Rush stomps away on Dax, scuffs him, then goes corner to corner! “You mess with the bull!” You get the- ORANGE PUNCH!!

Winners: Orange Cassidy & FTR, by pinfall
Callis is furious, but the celebration for FTR is short lived as here comes The Acclaimed. Max Caster has the mic, but it isn’t working! Dax says it sounds like it isn’t just him, and it sounds like it isn’t just North Carolina. Seems production doesn’t want Caster to talk anymore, either! Dax says he has all the respect for everything The Acclaimed has done for AEW, he really does. But here’s the problem: this goes beyond AEW. Security appears to keep Caster & Bowens from the ring. Dax admits, he isn’t as eloquent as Caster on the mic, but FTR are real men. Just break through that wall and bring it.
The fans fire up as Caster & Bowens try to reach the ring, but now even Christopher Daniels and producers rush out here to stop this! So FTR rush out to go after Caster & Bowens! The fans cheer, Cassidy shrugs, but the fight is broken up. FTR want to be contenders but The Acclaimed are the #1 contenders, so what does all this animosity mean this close to All In?
BREAKING NEWS for All In!
Tony Khan has decided to make the already massive return to Wembley even bigger than that! There will be a Casino Gauntlet match! The winner earns themselves a guaranteed AEW World Championship match at some point in the future! Bryan Danielson and Swerve Strickland are already going All In, who looks to do the same?
The Patriarchy speaks.
Christian Cage says, “Now it seems there’s a bit of a problem at the top of the Trios Division. You have The House of Black, that were the #1 contenders until they unfortunately lost a member for a period of time, and are looking to stake their claim to that prize once again. And then you have on the other hand, the former champions, The Bang Bang Gang, the champions that we beat, looking for their rematch. Well it is fortunate for both of you that I made some calls, I talked to some people, this Saturday on Collision, it’s gonna be The Bang Bang Gang VS The House of Black for the right to officially become the #1 contenders for the Trios Championships.
“But being the nice guy that I am, I decided to up the stakes for you boys, make it a little more enticing. The winner of that match will face The Patriarchy at the biggest show of the year, at All In in Wembley Stadium. Oh, and since you guys seem to bicker and fight between yourselves about who should be champions like children do, maybe some order needs to be kept, some discipline needs to be in order in the form… of a father. That’s while I’ll be the special referee for said match. See you at Collision.” Captain Charisma is certainly not going to be fair to either of those trios, so who will he screw over the least?
2v1 Handicap Match: Kamille w/ Mercedes Mone VS Clara Carter & Jazmyne Hao!
The Brickhouse is The CEO’s newest investment, and essentially her insurance policy. Will Kamille prove she’s worth every penny? Or can the Queen City Killer and The Dragon of Malice tear her down together?
The bell rings and while the fans chant for the “C E O! C E O!” Kamile puts her shoulder pads aside. She stares both opponents down, then just BOOTS Hao down! Carter wants out but Kamille drags her back in! And ROCKS her! And UPPERCUTS her! And then CLUBS her down! Carter sputters, Kamille frowns and drags her up. Kamille stomps away in the corner, but Hao jumps on for a SLEEPER! Kamille isn’t even bothered, she just stomps Carter more! Then she FLINGS Hao onto Carter! Kamille runs up, Carter dodges, and now Carter & Hao stomp together! They double whip, but Kamille comes back to LARIAT Hao!
Carter turns around, into a BOOT! Kamile drags Hao up, torture rack and THRASH, before the TOWER HACKER BOMB! Kamille drags Hao up and reels her in, to Canadian Rack and DOMINATE-HER!! Cover, Kamille wins!
Winner: Kamille, by pinfall
Mone steps in, never any doubt in her mind. And Kamille raises Mone’s hand in victory? Mone tells the fans to say hello to The Brickhouse. Kamille TOSSES Carter, TOSSES Hao, and then Mone tells the fans to say hello to your CEO. The fans are a bit torn, but Mone says don’t even waste your breath on chanting for the DMD, because Britt Baker is not even here tonight. Shoutout to the EVPs for that suspension so we don’t have to deal with Britt until All In. How sweet is that? Kamille says very sweet.
Mone “hates” to be the one breaking it to us, but Britt is not here! And poor lil’ DMD. Let’s talk about her! The first ever woman signed to AEW! How impressive! But while they always say Britt was the first, they never says she’s the best! But these titles on Mone let you know that SHE is the best! Tony Schiavone speaks up, and says he has some breaking news from Christopher Daniels. Tony Khan has overruled The Elite’s ban on Britt! And we also have Britt via satellite.
Britt tells Mercedes that she can run, get a bodyguard, and even get Britt suspended, but she can’t stop Britt. The match is on at All In, just like how Britt’s been all in on AEW since day one. And when Britt commits, she sees it through to the end. Unlike Mone. We all know the second things don’t go Mone’s way, she takes her ball and goes home. Mone is not the future. AEW is just the flavor of the month for Mone. But for Britt, AEW is home. So go ahead, Mone, walk your walk, talk your talk, and count your money. But this all ends at All In when Britt becomes the Face of TBS, and the first woman in AEW to have beat Mercedes Mone.
And now, Britt has seven days to think on how she can get her hands on Mone next week. And if you doubt that Britt won’t find a way, don’t. Trust Britt, she’s a doctor. Yours Truly, Dr. Britt Baker, DMD. The fans cheer, Mone is upset, but she does have Kamille. Will that insurance policy come in very handy next Wednesday?
BREAKING NEWS for Dynamite next week!
After winning the Triple Threat on Collision, Claudio Castagnoli is the #1 contender to the Continental Championship. The Swiss Superman is ready to challenge The Rainmaker, but they will have a face-to-face next Wednesday night. What will Kazuchika Okada have to say about his next challenger?
Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat is here!
The living legend and WWE Hall of Famer is here to be a special guest commentator for what will surely be a powerful main event.
Anything Goes: Bryan Danielson VS Jeff Jarrett!
The American Dragon didn’t appreciate Double J’s words of encouragement, because they came off as if Jarrett didn’t think Bryan was really ready for his Wembley moment. Bryan raised the stakes on himself by making it Title VS Career, and now he wants to show Jarrett just how ready he is! So Jarrett raised the stakes even further, and he made this match have no disqualifications, no count outs, and no time limit! Now, with no telling what either man will do to win, who comes out of this stronger than iron to take on Swerve Strickland?
WAIT! Jarrett storms up on Bryan from behind to SMASH HIT him with the guitar!! The Last Outlaw tells Bryan he has to be ready for anything! Karen Jarrett & Jay Lethal run out here and even they wonder what the hell Jeff’s doing! Jarrett stomps Bryan, SMACKS him with what’s left of his guitar, then tells Karen and Lethal to get outta here. Jarrett stomps Bryan down the ramp, drags him up, and throws him into the ring. Ricky says Jarrett’s always taken the low road, but maybe this is the only way to truly get Bryan ready. The bell rings, and Jarrett LARIATS Bryan up and outta the ring!
The fans rally but Jarrett storms out. Jarrett grabs a chair, and he SMACKS Bryan on the back! Jarrett drags Bryan up, whips him over railing, and then storms out after him! Jarrett fires hands, the ref follows them as they go to the bleachers, and Jarrett fires more hands! Jarrett keeps Bryan moving further up, then throws more hands! The fans fire up as Bryan fights back! Bryan ROCKS Jarrett now, and they continue going up! Jarrett kicks back, SMACKS Bryan off the hand rail, then ROCKS him again! And SMACKS him off the rail! Bryan fires hands in return! Jarrett pokes Bryan in the eye! Then throws hands!
The ref reprimands, only in that a pin or submission has to happen in the ring. Jarrett says that doesn’t matter, and they continue up into the pavilion! Jarrett SMACKS Bryan off a wall, and then Jarrett finds a trash barrel! Jarrett CHUCKS the barrel at Bryan! Jarrett makes quite the mess, but then he JAMS Bryan with the metal frame the trash barrel was in! Bryan SMACKS Jarrett in return with a bottle! And again! And again! The fans back here are all fired up as Bryan MSACKS Jarrett more and more! Bryan KICKS, KICKS and KICKS! “YES! YES! YES!” Bryan winds up, to SMACK Jarrett with the tall boy can!
But Jarrett LOW BLOWS! The fans are torn but Jarrett drags Bryan up to scoop, and DROP on the can! The fans lose their minds as Jarrett storms around. Jarrett drags Bryan up, lines up the shot, and suplexes Bryan on the can!! Those Wake Forest cans are tough, there’s almost no give! Jarrett throws more hands on Bryan, and the fans help keep Bryan standing! Jarrett ROCKS Bryan again and again, then reels him in. But Bryan blocks the suplex, turns it around, and he suplexes Jarrett onto the can! The can finally gives way and Jarrett clutches his lower back! The fans are thunderous for Bryan as he keeps on Jarrett!
Bryan fires hands, and we even get a close-up of Bryan hooking Jarrett’s face, while Dynamite goes picture in picture!
Bryan and Jarrett move back to the entrance and start making their way down the bleachers. Bryan fires hands as they go, then KICKS, and KICKS, and KICKS! Fans chant “YES! YES! YES!” but then Jarrett ROCKS Bryan! Jarrett throws hands, then UPPERCUTS Bryan! Bryan SMACKS Jarrett with a fan’s popcorn! Jarrett still throws hands, they make it back to ground level, and Jarrett CLAWS Bryan’s face! Jarrett grabs a recycle bin to SMACK Bryan with it! Jarrett whips, Bryan reverses, and Jarrett tumbles up and over the railing! Bryan snarls, storms his way over, but Jarrett JAMS him up with a chair!
Jarrett JAMS Bryan again and again, then goes back to the ring. Bryan sputters, Jarrett wedges the chair into a corner, and then Jarrett goes back for Bryan. Bryan stands, Jarrett moves the steel steps around, then ROCKS Bryan! Jarrett climbs up on the railing so he can rain down fists! The fans count along, and Jarrett hits TEN! Jarrett leaves Bryan behind, the fans cheer Bryan on, but Jarrett grabs another chair. Jarrett brings that into the ring at the same time Bryan slides in, and Dynamite returns to single picture. Jarrett JAMS Bryan’s legs with the chair, then SMACKS him right on the knee! And then SMACKS him again!
The fans are torn but mostly booing as Jarrett storms around. Swerve & Nana are watching backstage as Jarrett stomps Bryan in a corner. Jarrett stands Bryan up, climbs up, and says Bryan needs to be ready. Jarrett rains down fists, and fans count to nine, for Jarrett to wind up, to fire off five more fast hands! That’s 14 right there, and then Jarrett runs Bryan corner to corner to SMACK him off buckles! Jarrett whips, Bryan goes up and over and keeps moving! Bryan ducks ‘n’ dodges to LEAPING LARIAT! The fans fire up and Jarrett flounders to a corner. Bryan snarls, runs corner to corner, and he DROPKICKS!
Bryan climbs up now, and he rains down fists! The fans count and Bryan goes to TEN, then he BITES Jarrett! That’s something he got from Moxley. Bryan whips, but Jarrett KICKS back! Jarrett runs in, Bryan TOSSES him out! Bryan then builds speed to DIVE! Direct hit and down goes Double J! Bryan drags Jarrett up again, and sends him into railing! Jarrett takes a seat, Bryan KICKS him again and again! “YES! YES! YES!” Bryan gets space, runs back in, and he DROPKICKS Jarrett against railing! The fans fire up again as Bryan drags Jarrett up and around. Bryan KICKS Jarrett again and again, “YES! YES! YES!”
Bryan RAMS Jarrett into steel steps! Bryan goes to the apron, takes aim, and he FLYING- CHAIR!! Jarrett uses the chair to take Bryan right out of the air! Jarrett puts Bryan in, puts the legs on ropes, and then HIP DROPS! Fans want tables but Jarrett has a chair. Jarrett JAMS Bryan’s leg, then he puts the chair around it! The fans boo but Jarrett goes up a corner. Jarrett is going a bit further than getting Bryan ready here…! But Bryan stands to SMACK Jarrett with that chair! Bryan climbs up after Jarrett, reels him in, and SPIDER SUPERPLEX! Bryan sits up and the fans fire up! Bryan huffs ‘n’ puffs and fires up more, “YES! YES! YES!”
Bryan adjusts up top, then leaps to MISSILE DROPKICK! Down goes Jarrett, and Bryan snarls. “This is Awesome!” and Bryan hobbles over to Jarrett. Bryan KICKS again and again, but that bothers his plant leg. Bryan aims, but Jarrett ducks the buzzsaw! Jarrett trips Bryan, steps through, FIGURE FOUR! Bryan endures, the fans “WOO~!” and Jarrett pushes on the leg! Bryan drags himself over to the chair! Bryan SMACKS Jarrett’s legs now!! And SMACKS them again! And again!! Jarrett lets go for the sake of his own knees, and Bryan stands to wrangle him by an arm! But Jarrett fights free, FULL METAL STROKE!! Cover, TWO!!
Bryan survives being slammed on the chair, but Jarrett steps through on the legs, for a SHARPSHOOTER! The fans boo but Jarrett is shouting out Owen with this one! The fans rally, Bryan fights around, and he rolls over to grab an arm! Omoplata, for the LEBELL LOCK!! Jarrett endures, pries at the grip, and he’s free of the crossface! Jarrett ROCKS Bryan but Bryan KICKS back! They both sit up to fire more shots! The fans rally behind Bryan, and both men stand to throw harder haymakers! Faster haymakers! It is a scrap! Then Jarrett kicks, Bryan blocks, but Jarrett ENZIGIRIS! Jarrett says this is it! Wrench and-
NO, Bryan sends Jarrett into his corner chair trap! Then Bryan has the other chair, runs up, FULL METAL BUSAIKU KNEE!! Cover, Bryan wins!!
Winner; Bryan Danielson, by pinfall
Ricky says what goes around comes around. Jarrett made this hardcore, but he’s the one who takes the loss. Karen, Lethal & Sonjay hurry out here to check on Jarrett while Wheeler Yuta is here to back up Bryan. Even Ricky joins Bryan in the ring, commending him on this match. Jarrett’s even got blood from somewhere under the chin. Ricky helps Jarrett up, showing his fellow legend respect. Bryan and Yuta give it up for Jarrett, and Ricky raises both guys’ hands in victory. Bryan and Jarrett shake hands and hug it out. But then “Whose House?” “SWERVE’S HOUSE!” Nana leads the way for The Realest, and even does the dance.
Swerve has a mic to tell, “Well would you look at this. Did y’all see this? Y’all saw that, right?” Three great legends on TBS programming, right in front of our eyes. There was Jeff Jarrett, there was Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat, and now… Swerve Strickland. All men that have defined professional wrestling on this network. Swerve hops up into the ring with Bryan and says the difference between them all and Bryan is, they’ve all be world champions on TBS and he hasn’t. The only thing between Bryan and the title is ol’ Swerve himself. Swerve says Bryan is one of the Greatest of All Time. That’s why it’ll be great for Swerve when he retires Bryan at All In, and Bryan’s legacy becomes Swerve’s.
And Swerve will NOT hesitate to take the kill shot, he promises Bryan that. Heck of a match out here, how’s Bryan feeling? Legs are wobbly, back is giving out, losing feeling in the fingers. If that’s what Jarrett did to Bryan, just imagine what Swerve will do. A great test for Bryan none the less. But hey, how about Swerve gets tested, too? Swerve wants a little “warm up” before Wembley. He needs to spar. How about this? Norfolk, Virginia, Dynamite, the AEW World Champion goes 1v1 with… Wheeler Yuta. The Decoder says he ain’t some damn warm-up. But if Swerve wants it, then he can get it.
Swerve says this week, he was sitting in the back, watching Bryan VS Jarrett. But next week, Swerve wants Bryan to have a front row seat to see why Swerve is the most dangerous man in AEW. “Whose house?” “SWERVE’S HOUSE!” Not wanting to be outdone, will he break Yuta just as an example of what’s coming for Bryan? Or is this a trap game for the champ?
My Thoughts:
Another great Dynamite here, even with the apparent changes because of the tropical storm blowing through the Carolinas. The only change they acknowledged was Cassidy needing FTR to team with him over whatever combination from The Conglomeration they were going to use, and really it worked out for the better. FTR being hometown guys, the fans were all fired up. And then after Cassidy & FTR win, Acclaimed storming out there to start beef was also good. Now, there are some weird parallels going on in the Tag Division and Trios Division, in that Christian Cage came up with the contender’s match idea I feel we’re getting with Acclaimed and FTR. Bang Bang Gang VS House of Black, Christian as special ref, that’s going to make for a real good match.
Also good promos from Jack Perry and Darby Allin, though I glossed over how TBS accidentally cued up a Taco Bell commercial too early. But really, all I got from Jack Perry’s promo is a reminder that Scorpio Sky was a TNT Champion, yet his newest comeback ended before it even began. A real shame Scorpio Sky’s “I am your inspiration” persona didn’t get more than promos and I think one ROH match. Anyway, good match from Mariah VS Viva Van, went longer than I thought it would, but that is good for Viva Van. And maybe it was to fill time for things that couldn’t happen because people got stuck at airports or whatever. But Storm of course went after Mariah again, a good follow-up from Collision.
Kamille doing a Handicap squash match was fine, we knew she was winning no matter how many people were in there. And good promos from Mone and Britt to get at each other, but I don’t think this really sways who wins at All In at all. I have a feeling next week could really determine a lot of it, though, as Britt tries to go after Mone, only for Kamille to clobber her. That then gives Britt the go-home math so that she’ll win at All In, letting Mone be free to go show up for NJPW Strong, aka NJPW US events. Though ironically, that’d make Britt right about Mone rage quitting places and not really caring about AEW.
Awesome opening match from MJF VS Fletcher, and of course MJF had to cheat to win. But I did like Kyle refusing to resort to the Callis screwdriver, following in Ospreay’s footsteps. And I almost wonder if there’s a plot twist. What if MJF isn’t the one slashing tires and blocking doors? What if it is Callis screwing with Ospreay over Ospreay no longer wanting to be Callis Family member? That would be pretty good stuff to circle us back to the idea of Ospreay & Fletcher VS Don Callis Family, even if Rush is the only active member right now. Though, Callis probably could recruit others, like Mortos, or some other Heel that isn’t doing anything and could use this to get up to the next level.
Great match out of Shibata VS Keith, with Jericho being good on commentary. Shibata of course wins, and he of course gets jumped by Jericho & Bill, but luckily Hook was here to make the save. If Samoa Joe makes his return next week, I could see a Six Man Tag being set up. If not, then just default us to Hook VS Jericho for the FTW Championship one last time. And even then, you can throw everyone else out there, including Joe, so as to make sure Jericho loses and Hook wins.
Good promo from Hangman to have him call out Swerve without saying his name, because that is how much Hangman hates Swerve, and that was a good way to jump into Swerve’s interview promo with JR. Feels a little redundant now after Swerve also went out there to talk to Bryan, but it’s not that big of a deal. Bryan VS Jarrett was an awesome match, especially with Jarrett striking first. I do appreciate when they go up into the pavilion and use the trash cans. Great finish with the knee and chair combo, but of course Bryan won. Swerve VS Yuta next week will also be really good, and of course Swerve will win that. They’ll keep us guessing on the Title VS Career match, but I still feel like with Darby waiting at Grand Slam, it should be Swerve.
Which brings me to the news that we’re getting another #1 contender’s match! Sure, Casino Gauntlets are lots of fun, but why have it at All In? Isn’t that card already fat enough? The only saving grace would be if the winner of that gauntlet decides to Money in the Bank this and cash in during Bryan VS Swerve. If it’s a Heel, they’ll get massive heat for “ruining” that match. They can cost Bryan not just the title but his in-ring career, or they can be the reason Swerve loses. Hmm, actually, that might be the only reason they’re doing it. Hangman Page of all people could come out the winner, he cashes in, and does his damndest to screw Swerve.
My Score: 9/10

AEW Continental Classic, Gold League: Will Ospreay VS Ricochet!
Wait, are the fans throwing white streamers or is that… No, yeah, it’s toilet paper! Ospreay laughs at the fans basically calling Ricochet crap. Ricochet throws the toilet paper back! The bell rings and we’re on the clock. The fans fire up for Ospreay as he and Ricochet circle. The fans also sing, “F HIM UP, OSPREAY, F HIM UP!” Ricochet shrugs that off, he and Ospreay tie up, and then Ricochet rolls. Ospreay shoots in, waistlocks, but Ricochet switches. They go around, Ricochet gator rolls with Ospreay, then floats to a headlock. Ricochet wrenches, hammerlocks then headlocks again. Ospreay powers up and out, Ricochet runs him over, but Ospreay kips up!
The fans cheer and Ospreay smiles as he and Ricochet reset. They tie up, go around, and Ricochet wrenches to a wristlock. Ospreay rolls, wrenches and wristlocks, but Ricochet spins and wrenches to hammerlock. Ospreay reaches back, headlocks and hits a takeover. Ricochet rolls to a cover, TWO! Ospreay holds onto the headlock but Ricochet powers up and out. Ospreay runs Ricochet over, Ricochet bails out, and then Ospreay handsprings to fake Ricochet out! The fans cheer as Ospreay superhero lands out, and Ricochet is annoyed. Ospreay holds ropes open for Ricochet, but Ricochet goes around the way to step in on his own.
The fans boo Ricochet being a bad sport but Ricochet ignores that. Ospreay and Ricochet knuckle lock, then Ricochet kicks low! And CHOPS! Ricochet whips, Ospreay reverses, but Ricochet rolls off Ospreay’s back! Things keep moving, Ospreay avoids the handspring to then duck ‘n’ dodges and RANA! But Ricochet handsprings through! The fans fire up, and Ospreay arm-drags Ricochet down! The fans cheer while Ricochet endures the grind. Ricochet fights up and puts Ospreay on ropes. The ref counts, Ricochet and Ospreay slowly let g o, and Ricochet SLAPS Ospreay! Ospreay CHOPS Ricochet!
Ospreay takes a swing, Ricochet ducks under to roll back and RANA! But now Ospreay handsprings through! Ricochet dodges to waistlock but Ospreay bucks the O’Conner. Ricochet arm-drags Ospreay down, but Ospreay headscissors back! Ricochet pops free but Ospreay arm-drags! Ricochet headscissors, Ospreay pops free, and Ospreay handsprings, but Ricochet catches him! Ricochet then THROWS Ospreay into the Tree of Woe, and Ospreay falls down! The fans boo while Ospreay bails out, but Ricochet FOSBURY FLOPS! The fans boo but Ricochet takes the toilet paper to wipe himself, then he SMOTHERS Ospreay with it!
The fans boo that literally disgusting act of disrespect, but Collision goes picture in picture.
Ricochet taunts the fans, then drags Ospreay up. Ricochet puts Ospreay in, soaks up more heat, then KNEE-BOARD SENTONS! Ricochet swaggers to taunt the fans more, then he goes back to Ospreay. Cover, ONE!! Another cover, TWO! Ricochet taunts the fans more, then goes back for Ospreay. Ricochet stands Ospreay up to CHOP, and Ospreay goes to a corner. Ricochet RAMS into Ospreay, RAMS him again, then snapmares to UPPERCUT in the back! Cover, TWO! Ospreay stays in this but Ricochet drags him into a motorcycle stretch. Ospreay endures while Ricochet digs a knee into the back. Ospreay fights up, fights with elbows, then runs, but into a DROPKICK!
Ospreay is down in a daze but Ricochet has to shake out the stars in his own head. Ricochet covers, ONE! Ospreay then uses that one to flip off Ricochet. Ricochet RAMS Ospreay in the back! Ricochet then clamps on with a chinlock, and he digs his knee into Ospreay’s back. Ospreay endures, even as Ricochet JAMS Ospreay. Collision returns to single picture as the fans rally for Ospreay again. Ospreay fires up, fires hands, but Ricochet RAMS him into a corner. Ricochet runs up, RAMS into Ospreay, then goes to the apron. Ospreay takes a swing but Ricochet dodges and gets around him to GERMAN SUPLEX! Ospreay lands out!
Ospreay runs, handsprings, NEURALIZER KICK! The fans fire up while both men are down! Ospreay goes to the apron, takes aim, and he springboards to PIP PIP CHEERIO! Down goes Ricochet, Ospreay covers, TWO! Ospreay stays focused and the fans rally up. Ospreay drags Ricochet up, CHOPS him, then CHOPS him again! Ricochet staggers, Ospreay runs, but Ricochet TIGER WALL KICKS! The One & Only got away with murder, but there’s nothing that can be done now! Ricochet has NINE points, will he be headed to Worlds End?
Adam Cole heads to the ring!
The fans cheer as the Panama City Playboy returns to the Hammerstein Ballroom, and yes, they join in for the “BOOM~!” and the “ADAM COLE, BAYBAY~!” Cole grabs a mic, but he keeps his eyes on the ramp. That’s because we all know who’s next. MJF makes his entrance, but with a handful of security guards in front of him first. And not even AEW security, that’s his own personal security. MJF grabs a mic and has them cut his music. The fans boo but MJF tells them, “If I wanted your help, I’d ask for it. Sit down and shut up.” The fans tell MJF to STFU, but MJF shrugs that off.
MJF tells Cole that MJF is frustrated. It’s because for the past few months, MJF has had to listen to Cole say MJF is Cole’s biggest enemy! If memory serves, and MJF’s memory always does because unlike the fans here, he isn’t a complete moron… Didn’t Cole turn on MJF? But then does Cole realize he has bigger enemies out there? Like spray tan, cracks in the floor, gusts of win, and maybe… a cavity. Because last MJF heard, Cole’s dentist isn’t seeing him anymore. Cole was already staring daggers into MJF, but now he’s pissed. MJF has Cole calm down, and he tells the fans to shut up so he can shoot straight.
When MJF was the longest-reigning and greatest AEW World Champion of all time, Cole was nothing more than MJF’s cute little sidekick. That ate Cole up inside. Cole wanted to be MJF. Cole wanted #TripleB. But the sad truth is, Cole had many opportunities to win the title before MJF got anywhere near it. It’s almost like when it comes to Cole being elite enough to become world champion, just like his “s*itty little ankle,” Cole blows it. MJF laughs at his own joke, and then tells the fans he is talking, it is not that complicated. But this is why MJF doesn’t buy the hogwash that Cole turned on MJF because MJF would turn on Cole first.
Cole turned because he, like all these shmucks, is jealous of MJF. And who can blame Cole? MJF is rich, handsome, funny, entertaining, and then look at Cole. For crying out loud, Cole used to be ADAM COLE BAYBAY. Now, he’s just a crack baby! Cole asks if MJF is done. Was that the last line? Because it felt like MJF practiced that for two weeks in front of a mirror. But MJF killed it, really. Cole could come back with childish comments to hurt MJF’s feelings, but he won’t. Cole could mention MJF has had two surgeries on that fake head of hair of his while only in his 20s, which is hilarious, but he won’t.
Cole could talk about how MJF pulled some strings to get his girlfriend hired, like the real politician he is, but Cole won’t go there. Cole could talk about how every single time MJF enters a room, everyone waits for him to leave because he is loud, obnoxious and annoying as hell. But Cole won’t go there. Because Cole is not like MJF. They are nothing alike. That is why the friendship was ruined. Because, MJF, the truth is you say Cole is a failure, but in virtually every wrestling company Cole has worked for, he is the longest-reigning champion in so many!
In this very building, Cole bled BUCKETS against Kyle O’Reilly, wanting to prove he was one of the best in the world, and that is exactly what he did! Does Cole have regrets? Sure. Are there things Cole wishes he could take back? Absolutely. But Cole does NOT regret turning on MJF. The only reason it drives MJF insane is because Cole beat MJF to it. That’s MJF 101: Get close to someone, then turn on them. It’s what MJF does. Cole just did it better than MJF, and MJF knows it.
But Cole has been thinking, trying to understand what’s going on in MJF’s head, and he finally figured it out. MJF is terrified of having anyone close to him, because he feels it is a weakness. That hit a chord? Because not only does MJF act like a child, he thinks like a child! MJF knows in his heart that he was going to be the one to turn on Cole first! DAMN RIGHT HE WAS!!! MJF realizes he let the cat out of the bag. MJF says congrats, Cole, he solved the mystery! A regular Scooby-Doo! Great job, Adam.
But you want the truth? Here it is. The fact of the matter is, last year at Worlds End, MJF had every intention on stabbing Cole in the back that night. Cole just got lucky. When #BetterThanYouBaybay started, MJF didn’t give a damn about Cole. Cole was nothing more than a pawn. But MJF will admit, he did eventually start to care. For the first time in MJF’s life, he cared about someone else. Fans mockingly go, “Aww…” But MJF says that is just when Cole became a liability. And since Cole’s “a fragile little freak,” him jumping off that ramp and exploding his ankle made him a distraction!
Distractions, liabilities, emotions, there are no room for those when all you should be concerned with is maintaining the world championship! But Cole doesn’t get it, does he? Last year was a fluke. Cole ain’t the Devil, he just beat the Devil to it. But this year, Worlds End, December 28th, the same show where Cole tried to end MJF’s world, MJF ENDS Cole!! MJF throws down the mic and the fans are torn. Cole smirks and says MJF ends things then? Well, how about Cole ends this? COLE DECKS MJF! The guards rush in, but Cole fights them off! MJF sends more but Cole SUPERKICSK! And SUPERKICKS! And SUPERKICKS!
But then MJF LOW BLOWS Cole! MJF tells the fans to shut up! MJF takes out the Dynamite Diamond Ring! But then The Kingdom rushes out here! MJF runs away from Matt Taven & Mike Bennett, but he vows this ends at Worlds End. We have one week left, is that the last week Cole has in AEW? Or will MJF finally lose the one thing he has left in that diamond ring?
Backstage interview with Kris Statlander.
Lexy Nair is with the #BornAgainKristen and brings up her trying to make amends with Willow Nightingale last night, as well as making the save when Harley Cameron & Penelope Ford were beating Willow up. Kris says what she and Willow have to discuss is between them. But as far as her and Penelope go, they’ve got a lot of history, and if Ford wants a fight, Kris will give her a fight. Then speaking of history, Kris still has her eyes set on the TBS Championship, can she tells us more on that?
Kris says she looked back on 2024 and she had a downward spiral that started with losing that title. Maybe if she wins it back, Kris will right her wrongs. On that note, Mercedes Mone, you don’t have an opponent for Worlds End so here Kris is. Let her know when you’re ready for round two. Kris heads out, will she prove to everyone that she is still the Galaxy’s Greatest?
Backstage interview with Orange Cassidy.
AEW returns and Lexy is now with Freshly Squeezed. In exactly one week, he will compete against three other men for the AEW World Championship. There are a lot of combustible elements at play, and Cassidy says yeah, we saw that on Dynamite. Jay White, Hangman Page and Cassidy can’t exactly have a conversation. So really, Cassidy wants them to listen. “Between now and Worlds End, Jon Moxley can run and hide. He can hide behind his goons, he can run away in a pickup truck. But when that bell rings in seven days, he has nowhere to go. He will be in the ring with us. Us three. And you both know that we need to remove Jon Moxley from the equation.
“We can. We’ve done it. And after that, us three, we can fight for the AEW World Championship and one of us will become the AEW World Champion. Just something to think about. See you guys on Dynamite.” Cassidy is ready to remove the Maniac from the throne, but will the Switchblade and Cowboy listen to reason?
Kris Statlander VS Penelope Ford!
As Kris just said, she’s calling out The CEO in hopes of one more TBS Championship match. But will the Superbad Girl be more like the Grinch for Kris this Christmas?

Wait, shouldn’t Brian Cage be in New York for Final Battle…? Well anyway, Schiavone says there’s a lot of gold and- Callis takes the mic, and he says, “I have something important to say.” The fans boo and Schiavone excuses himself as Callis says the Don Callis Family are the TRUE One Percenters of professional wrestling! And now, he’s gonna beat Daniel Garcia and win the Continental Classic! Callis hands the mic over to Kyle and Kyle says it might be true that last Saturday wasn’t the best day for Kyle, but anyone watching that match saw the clear bias from the officials in this company! The fans boo as Kyle claims there is an agenda in AEW to see the Don Callis Family NOT succeed. But it doesn’t matter, it changes nothing!
Kyle WILL be the winner of the 2024 Continental Classic. That brings Kyle to Daniel Garcia. “You wanna talk about restoring the feeling, Daniel? I couldn’t care less about your feelings! All I speak are facts! And the fact is, I am the hottest young prospect in this industry, and I will be the future of this whole place!” The fans boo more but Callis says one last thing he wants to say, is when you’re the One Percent, you’re not like the other 99! They are not like all of these fans! They are not like “the boys in the back,” like Mark Davis & Will Hobbs, “a couple of scab workers!” They’re not even in the same business, Hobbs!
And Callis has waited to get Hobbs on a PPV so that the world could watch why they call Konosuke Takeshita “The Alpha.” And Hobbs, YOU are not in the same business as Konosuke, and you find that out at Worlds End! But speaking of, here comes the Powerhouse! Will he and Dunkzilla finish things with the Don Callis Family? Or will the AEW International and ROH World TV Champions get even for last week?

If it wasn’t clear before, this was a painful punctuation mark, Komander is mathematically ELIMINATED from the semifinals. However, Komander’s final C2 match is Dynamite’s Miracle on 34th Street against Claudio Castagnoli! Can Komander be the biggest spoiler of this entire tournament? Can Brody prove to everyone in the Gold League that the House Always Wins?
My Thoughts:
A great Rampage here for Holiday Bash, though some clear redundancies from last week’s Winter is Coming edition. We got another group Don Callis Promo, and we barely got anything different from Callis and Kyle. The tag match’s only changes were Cage switching in for Archer, even though Cage is in reality defending his ROH World TV Championship in the Hammerstein Ballroom for Final Battle, and then the Callis Family wins this time so Hobbs and Konosuke can be even going towards Worlds End. Now, Konosuke could very well retain the International Championship at Worlds End because NJPW is totally open to Konosuke Takeshita VS Shingo Takagi being Winner Takes All, AEW International and NEVER Openweight titles on the line together.
Lio & Action of course won their match, but the real purpose was to get a confrontation out of them, Private Party and OG Top Flight, Darius & Dante. Good stuff, and it teases anywhere between a Triple Threat to Lio & Action VS Darius & Dante Round 2. Very good promo from Triple J to set up for something, anything really, for 2025. Fight for the Fallen can even be the start of whatever that plan is as part of the “mother of all streams.” And good stuff with the women’s division tonight. Ford & Harley makes a natural duo now given their names, and Willow and Kris could possibly reunite now that Kris is a Face again. That wouldn’t really make up for the weird fumble in the middle where Tony Khan just wanted Kris to get away from Stokely, but hey, this story itself could be really well done.
And great stuff out of Brody VS Komander, really got the drama going before the end. I mean, we all knew Komander was out of the running before tonight, and was most certainly taking the loss here, but Komander got to really show some grit. And now, five people at 6 points going into the final round, they’re really adding great drama to Gold League. Collision tomorrow and then Dynamite Miracle on 34th Street will be some great stuff, but I still think Ospreay should be one of the semifinalists, the second spot can be whoever they want.
My Score: 8.8/10
