“There is a night…
“…where thrill seekers, daredevils, and monsters gather to bring their own form of terror. A night where the most powerful will thrive. Where a man left for dead infiltrates a house of horrors. It’s a struggle of rivals that could mean the death of a party. And a night where even a dangerous man faces a whole new herd. This is that night. As AEW presents… Fright Night Dynamite!”
The Blackpool Combat Club speaks.
More post show footage from Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli & Wheeler Yuta as they stormed out of the arena last week. The Swiss Superman walks ‘n’ talks about how “five years ago, Jon Moxley built this place with is bare freakin’ hands! We’re not gonna let a bunch of punks ruin it for us. We’re going to take this company to new heights. And if you don’t see that, then you’re-” Wait, Orange Cassidy shouts over the audio to say stop it, shut it off! The footage stops, and the fans fire up as Freshly Squeezed storms his way to the ring! Cassidy says, “That’s enough of that. See, I don’t do this. I don’t like this. This is not who I am.
“I don’t come out here and tell you for ten minutes that I’m a leader. I’m not a leader. That’s not what I am. But after last week, when I slid into this ring, and I watched my best friend, Chuck Taylor, get his neck crushed by a steel chair… When I looked around, I was surrounded by the people that I should’ve been. I admire their courage, they’re all very, very talented. But they are very, very young. I was surrounded by the future of AEW.” The fans cheer that. Cassidy says those guys have no idea of the danger they are in. They have no idea how dangerous Jon Moxley is! The fans rally behind Cassidy, and he says he knew then and there what he needed to do.
If Moxley has his way, there is no future for AEW. Those young guys have nowhere to go. Moxley never needed AEW, but Cassidy does! The fans cheer that! Cassidy doesn’t exist without AEW! There is no him, there is no us, there isn’t this! The fans cheer more, and chant “A E DUB! A E DUB!” Cassidy says now he knows what he needs to do: He must stop this, cut the head off the snake, and make sure no one else gets hurt. He’ll do it alone so he can protect everyone. And how does he do that? Cassidy takes off the sunglasses to say, “Jon Moxley, I challenge you! I challenge you for the AEW World Championship!”
The fans fire up, and Cassidy says he will take the symbol of this company and what it represents, take it out of Moxley’s bag, and put it in his backpack! So then, Moxley, you just let Cassidy know. He isn’t hard to find. He is where he is every single week: right here in this ring! Because, uh, he’s Freshly Squeezed Orange Cassidy. The fans cheer Cassidy on as he puts the sunglasses back on, and Cassidy adds, “And I am the next AEW World Champion. And… I still don’t need a catchphrase.” The fans cheer as Cassidy steps up, not as a leader but as a defender of AEW! Will Cassidy heroically take back what the BCC is trying to take from us?
Mercedes Mone & Kamille arrive backstage.
The CEO tells her Brickhouse to completely annihilate Kris Statlander! Renee Paquette catches up to them, and brings up the match of Kamille VS Statlander to finally prove who is the strongest woman in AEW. Does Mone have a prediction? Mone and Kamille look to each other as if they can’t believe this. Mone tells Renee that Renee should know better. First thing is first, Cleveland, please say hello to your CEO. And secondly, Mone hates terrible questions. Predictions? Just look at Kamille! Kamille IS The Brickhouse. Mone understands Kris is one of the strongest, a powerhouse in this division.
But she doesn’t hold a candle to Kamille! Renee wishes Kamille luck and Mone says you don’t need luck when you’re with The CEO. Mone & Kamille head out, but who will win the battle of female titans in The Land?
Adam Cole VS Buddy Matthews!
The Panama City Playboy may be facing the Aussie Juggernaut tonight, but he’s also competing with his good friend, Roderick Strong, all in the pursuit of taking down Maxwell Jacob Friedman. Will it be all about the “BOOM!” for “ADAM COLE, BAYBAY!” tonight? Or will Buddy prove that this Adam Cole just doesn’t have it?
The bell rings and the fans fire up as Cole stares Buddy down. They step to each other, and Buddy offers a handshake. Cole takes it, the fans applaud, but Buddy’s grip is strong. They circle, tie up, and Buddy powers Cole to a corner. Buddy lets off cleanly, and the fans rally. The two tie up again, Buddy again puts Cole in a corner, and he eggs Cole on as he lets off. Buddy and Cole circle more, tie up again, and Buddy again has Cole on ropes. The ref counts, Buddy lets off, and Cole tells him to bring it! They tie up, go along ropes, but Buddy still puts Cole in a corner. Buddy lets off as the ref counts, but Cole headlocks.
Buddy powers up and out, RAMS Cole, and the fans applaud as the two stare down again. Buddy headlocks, Cole powers up and out, but Buddy RUNS Cole over! Cole sits up, Buddy raises his fist, and things speed up. Cole drops, gets around, headlocks, but Buddy powers out. They RAM shoulders again, and Buddy wants Cole to bring it! Cole runs, RAMS Buddy, and again! And again! And again! Buddy headlocks for the takeover, Cole headscissors, but Buddy kips free! Cole shows superkick and Buddy backs up! The fans cheer, and the two reset. Cole shakes out his legs, still seeing for himself if he’s really ring ready.
The two reset, knuckle lock, and Buddy shoots to a waistlock. Cole switches, Buddy switches, but Cody backs Buddy into a corner. The ref counts, Buddy pushes Cole, but then Cole runs in. Buddy goes up and over, runs back in, but Cole dodges. Cole runs up, but Buddy puts him on the apron. Each man ducks a punch, but then Buddy feints, and Cole hops off the apron, only to jam his ankle! Cole is frustrated as he walks off the pain. We see Kyle O’Reilly watching backstage, is he just as concerned about the ankle as Cole? Cole hears the count, so he takes his time to get the bad ankle feeling alright.
But Buddy goes to the apron to PENALTY KICK Cole down! The fans fire up while Cole sputters, and Dynamite goes picture in picture.
Buddy looms over Cole, then drags him up. Buddy CHOPS Cole, stalks him along the way, and brings him around. Buddy SMACKS Cole off the apron, and Cole hurries into the ring. Buddy pursues, drags Cole up, and CHOPS! Cole goes to a corner and Buddy storms over, but Cole puts him in the corner! Cole CHOPS, but Buddy wags his finger. Buddy puts Cole in the corner to CHOP! Cole goes to another corner, but he lures Buddy in again. Cole CHOPS, but Buddy CHOPS back! Buddy wrenches Cole corner to corner hard and Cole bounces off buckles! Buddy watches Cole writhe, and he storms back over to him.
Buddy stands Cole up, whips him to ropes, but Cole ducks ‘n’ dodges, only for Buddy to catch him into a SLEEPER! Buddy squeezes tight, and he leans on Cole. Cole endures, fights up, and he RAMS Buddy into a corner! Buddy holds on, so Cole RAMS Buddy into the buckles again! Buddy still holds on, Cole tries again, but Buddy sends Cole into buckles! Buddy runs up, but into a BOOT! Cole hops up, but Buddy GAMANGIRIS! Cole wobbles up top and Buddy climbs up to join him. Buddy brings Cole up, but Cole fights the suplex! Fright Night returns to single picture as Buddy CLUBS away on Cole!
Buddy brings Cole to the very top now, for a SUPER DUPER PLEX! And a roll through! But Cole suplexes first! GHOSTBUSTER! Both men are down and the fans are thunderous! Buddy goes to the apron but Cole pursues. Cole is on the apron with Buddy, and he brings Buddy up. Cole fires a forearm, but Buddy fires back! They go back and forth, but Buddy V-TRIGGERS! Cole APRON DDTS!! Buddy flops to the floor, followed by Cole. The fans fire up again while the ring count starts. Buddy and Cole stir, we hit 5 of 10, and Cole rises up. Cole rolls in at 8, but Buddy drags him back out! Cole BOOTS Buddy into barriers!
Buddy hurries up, but Cole catches Buddy into a HEATSEEKER!! Cover, TWO!! Cole using MJF’s move doesn’t win it for him, but Cole keeps his focus. The fans rally and duel, and Cole goes up a corner. Cole takes aim as Buddy rises, for the PANAMA SUN- NO Buddy stops it into an Alabama Lift! But Cole sunset flips! Buddy rolls through, to DDT Cole’s foot! And DDT it again! Then again! Cole writhes his way to the bottom rope, but Buddy rolls out. Buddy drags Cole to the corner, and he STOMPS the foot on the steel steps! And again, and again, and again! The ref reprimands, Buddy stops, and Cole flops away!
Cole clutches the ankle, Doc Sampson checks him, and Buddy waits in the ring. The fans have their own ring count, but Cole says this is not how he wants this to end. Cole is determined to win three matches to face MJF, but Doc Sampson convinces him to at least get checked in the back. Buddy taunts Cole, “When the going gets tough, you just run away? This is what I mean, Adam! This new Adam is fragile! The old Adam Cole, he wouldn’t just walk away. But the new Adam Cole, is just a little b*tch!” Cole is pissed now so he storms back up, even with one good leg! Cole rolls in, the fans are thunderous, and the haymakers fly!
Cole ROCKS Buddy again and again, but Buddy fires the strike fest! SOBAT! KNEE! Stomp to the bad food! And again! And again! Buddy brings Cole around but Cole shoves him away. Buddy eggs Cole on, but Cole fires body shots. Cole rises, tells Buddy to take his shot, but Buddy runs up! Cole steps up and over, SUPERKICK! And SUPERKICK! Cole brings the kneepad down, but he can’t run for The Boom! V-TRIGGER! Buddy runs, CURB STOMP! Cover, TWO!?! Cole survives and Buddy is furious! The fans rally and duel as Cole goes to the apron, but Buddy tells Cole to throw in the towel then!
The ref reprimands, but Cole snarls. He throws the towel at Buddy, to SUPERKICK! And BOOT! And BLINDSIDE SUPERKICK! Cole runs but Buddy reels him in! Cole breaks free to PELE! SHINING WIZARD! Cover, TWO!! Buddy survives and Cole is stunned. The fans rally up, Cole goes to the corner and climbs up. Buddy rises, into the PANAMA- V-TRIGGER! Buddy hauls Cole up, BUCKLE BOMB!! CURB STOMP!! Cover, ONE?!?! Cole is furious and Buddy is shocked! MJF is watching and he is getting upset. Cole fires hands on Buddy, but Buddy shoves him away, Buddy runs at the corner, Cole SUPERKICKS!
Cole hops up again, then leaps, PANAMA SUNRISE!! Buddy staggers out of the ring! Cole pursues, PANAMA SUNRISE to the floor! The fans are torn as Cole hurries to put Buddy in! Cole runs up, THE BOOM!! Cover, Cole wins!
Winner: Adam Cole, by pinfall
That’s one win down, two more to go! Kyle nods, proud of his friend, but surely MJF is throwing a fit. Cole grabs a mic to have the music cut, and he tells Buddy, “I know what you did, and I appreciate it. You just reminded me of who the real Adam Cole is. And for that, Buddy, I thank you.” Cole offers the handshake, and Buddy takes it. The fans cheer the sportsmanship, but then the lights go out! The fans bark in anticipation, and as the lights come up, Malakai Black has switched places with Cole! The fans lose their minds, and that black paint over Malakai’s eye, has he set his eye on bringing The End to Adam Cole?
Backstage interview with Private Party and Christopher Daniels.
Renee is now with Marq Quen, Isiah Kassidy and the Interim EVP. Daniels wants to tell them that this match tonight, he and Frankie Kazarian were in this same situation three years ago. They had a ton of momentum, risked it all for a world title shot, because they thought there was no way they couldn’t be AEW World Tag Team Champions. But the night of that match, Daniels can’t lie, he let Frankie down, and that changed the relationship. Things were never the same, Kaz isn’t even here anymore. Private Party can be AEW World Tag Team Champions, but we’re still talking about The Young Bucks here.
The Bucks will do anything and everything they have to in order to stay champions. Daniels just hopes Private Party knows what they’re risking tonight. Quen tells Daniels they appreciate the words, but they’ve got this. Zay says no offense, but history will not repeat itself. Private Party will be leavin’ Cleveland the NEW AEW World Tag Team Champions. Daniels shakes their hands and Private Party heads out. Will Quen & Zay use this final shot together to finally reign together? Or will that not work for Matthew & Nicholas Jackson, brother?
The Undisputed Kingdom are with Adam Cole in medical.
Doc Sampson is checking Cole’s ankle and he says he’s good. Cole then says to camera that Buddy gave him one of the toughest matches he’s had in his entire career. And now it seems Malakai Black is on the radar. Cole is back in the fire, just how he likes it. But let us address the elephant in the room, and he means MJF. Cole’s ankle is clearly not what it used to be, it may never be the same again, but Cole doesn’t blame MJF for that. Cole does not blame MJF for shattering Cole’s ankle, or even for being a bad friend not checking up on him while he was injured. But what Cole does blame MJF for is pretending to that their friendship would ever work.
Because guys like Adam Cole and guys like MJF are meant to be enemies, not friends! Quit kidding yourself that you weren’t going to betray Cole, Max! And if you don’t believe him, Cole doesn’t need to explain himself past a few examples. In MJF’s tenure here in AEW, just look at what he did to Wardlow, to Sammy Guevara, to Daniel Garcia. If you think Cole was dumb enough to sit back and wait, you’ve got another thing coming. This isn’t Cole’s first rodeo, and MJF needed to be taught a harsh lesson. And what The Kingdom did, yeah, it was rough, mean, maybe even extreme. But DAMMIT, it needed to happen!
Because Cole gives a damn about AEW! About the AEW locker room! About the AEW fans! About what AEW was built on, what it is meant to be, and MJF was never part of that team. Cole swears to God with every fiber of his being, he will get his hands on MJF at Full Gear. Better yet, they get their hands on MJF! And when they do, Cole will be happy to teach MJF another lesson. One down, two to go. Cole and his real friends are ready, but will either Cole or Roddy make it through three matches without a loss? Or will the Wolf of Wrestling continue to worm his way out of getting what he deserves?
Kyle Fletcher & Don Callis are here!
The Don Callis Family stands on stage, and fans boo as Callis has the mic. Callis says, “Ladies and gentlemen, Kyle Fletcher has something important to say!” The mic is handed over to the Aussie Arrow, and he says he is a man of his word! Kyle Fletcher is here to call out and stand face to face with Will Ospreay. Without further ado, the man himself, the Aerial Assassin, Will Ospreay! Kyle watches for the tunnel, but no music and no Ospreay. Kyle says he is just as disappointed as the fans. He was really hoping Ospreay would show up. But this proves what- WAIT! The Aussie Open music starts?!
The fans fire up as MARK DAVIS is here! Kyle’s tag partner and friend is back in AEW! Kyle is surprised to see Mark, not the man he was expecting, but so good to see him. But then Mark denies him the hug! Mark tells Kyle to listen. Mark wishes he could look Kyle in the eyes and say the exact same thing, but Kyle is out here calling out Will when you know he’s laid up at home because of what Kyle did to him. Kyle is standing here, calling out someone that they both used to call a brother. So when Mark is here, looking at Kyle, he doesn’t even know who he is looking at! Oh, Mark doesn’t know? Mark thinks Kyle has changed?
The only thing that has happened since Mark was away is that Kyle opened his eyes to the truth! Callis helped Kyle see Ospreay for who he truly is! Ospreay never cared about Aussie Open. Ospreay kept them in his back pocket to help further his own career! So they can forget about Ospreay because Kyle is sure Ospreay forgot about Mark. BUT Kyle never forgot. Kyle knew this day would come, and made sure that when it did, Mark would always have a spot in the Don Callis Family. The fans boo but Kyle and Callis offer hugs. Mark says, “Family? Mate, we had an emipre. A United Empire, and mate, you destroyed it.”
Mark steps around Kyle and Callis, and Kyle tells Mark that before he goes, “There is going to come a day very soon where you need to make a hard decision. And I have proven before that I have no problem cutting the past loose.” The Aussie Arrow gives Dunkzilla a not so veiled threat, but what will Will Ospreay have to say about all this?
Backstage interview with Hangman Page.
Renee is now with the Blackhat Cowboy, and says last week, it was made official: Hangman Page VS Jay White at Full Gear. White had some choice words, too, saying this was Hangman’s chance at “redemption.” What are Hangman’s thoughts on that? Hangman says in July, White entered the Owen Hart Cup with his eyes dead set on the AEW World Championship. But Hangman knocked White out in the second round. White can lay the blame at Christian’s feet all he wants, but it wasn’t Christian but Hangman that hurt White so bad that White spent three MONTHS at home.
And White comes back looking for Hangman, not the title. That is a mistake. White wants to bring up their record against each other, 4-1 in White’s favor. Hangman did lose at WrestleDream, he will give White that. But now, this is White giving Hangman redemption? Hangman will make this very clear: There is no such thing as ‘redemption.” Not for White, not for Hangman. Only the now! The wins, the losses, and the consequences that follow. Hangman knows White’s strategy for Full Gear. White will go for Hangman’s leg, go Dragon Screw and Shin Breaker, but what will Hangman’s strategy be? You don’t know.
Will Hangman hit White with a chair? Will Haman strangle White and injure White’s friends while he watches? Will Hangman light White’s house? Will Hangman break White’s ankle again? One thing for sure, at the end of Full Gear, when and not if Hangman beats White, Hangman will stand over White and leave him like he has so many others to stand in front of him: Hurt with less than you had before. Hangman will leave White behind. The Cowboy heads out, will he be the one to win this shootout with the Switchblade?
The Blackpool Combat Club is backstage.
Wheeler Yuta, Pac, Claudio Castagnoli, Marina Shafir, and yes, Jon Moxley, all step inside the building. What will these five have planned for The Land tonight?
The Blackpool Combat Club heads to the ring.
Fright Night returns from break as The Maniac walks with The Problem, The Bastard, The Swiss Superman & The Decoder through the crowd and to ringside. The fans are torn as they step into the ring, and Moxley grabs a mic. Moxley says he doesn’t expect Orange Cassidy or anyone else to appreciate what this group is trying to do right now, but one day, they will understand. Freshly Squeezed came out here, and he thinks he can face Jon Moxley for the AEW World Championship. The fans think Cassidy challenged Moxley for the AEW World Championship. No, Moxley challenged Cassidy!
No one just challenges the champ, that’s not how this works. Moxley challenged Cassidy when he had Chuck Taylor’s neck broken. What Moxley did is, he cut distraction and dead weight out of Cassidy’s life so that Cassidy could focus on his goals. The BCC walked into the room, basically asked who was in charge, and everybody pointed to Cassidy, “He’s our guy.” But Cassidy didn’t wanna step up and lead his people. That’s not the Cassidy that Moxley knows. That is not the Cassidy that Moxley thinks the world off. Do not catch the disease, be under the spell that so many people are under. Fat and happy with their paychecks, figments of their own imaginations, that they’re something that they’re not.
Moxley does not want that for Cassidy. Moxley has pushed Cassidy again and again, and Cassidy has not yet begun to walk through the valley. Cassidy wants Moxley at Full Gear? Tonight? Any time? Fine by Moxley. When that happens, Cassidy will not fight Moxley on the mountaintop but in the valley. And Cassidy better be ready to die, because believe Moxley, THIS valley right here is the valley Moxley is willing to die in! The fans do cheer that, at least. Moxley says Cassidy claimed no one gets hurt. A real cool customer, free from distractions, but he thinks he’s pulling the strings? We’ll see about that right now.
Moxley signals to the others, and Marina & Pac drag Yuta down?! Claudio grabs a chair! The fans boo, they’re making Yuta a sacrificial lamb just to make a point! The chair is around Yuta’s neck, but here comes Cassidy! He TACKLES Moxley! THe fans fire up, but CLaudio drags Cassidy off him! Pac & Moxley stomp Cassidy while Marina gets in Yuta’s face. Marina tells Yuta to join in, and so Yuta does! The fans boo Yuta as he can’t see how he is also just a pawn in this. But here comes The Dark Order! Evil Uno, John Silver & Alex Reynolds go after the BCC! The fans fire up for the brawl, but the numbers isn’t on their side!
Claudio has Reynolds, and THROWS him into railing! The bad ribs are only feeling worse, and then Claudio TOSSES Reynolds into the timekeeper’s area! Moxley beats up on Silver while Pac TOSSES Uno! Yuta has the chair that almost crushed him, and he uses it to SMACK Cassidy! Silver is sent into steel steps! Marina CHOKES Silver while Yuta SMACKS Uno with the chair! Yuta hands the chair to Pac, and Pac puts the chair around Cassidy! The fans boo as they hold Cassidy down, but DARBY ALLIN REPELS DOWN FROM THE RAFTERS!! A true student of Sting, and Darby fires off on Claudio! They brawl onto the desk, and it breaks!!
The fans are thunderous for Darby as he BITES Claudio on the head! Reynolds unhooks Darby so he can go after Claudio more! Pac and Uno brawl, Moxley isn’t sure what to make of this! Claudio TOSSES Darby back onto the desk wreckage! And he UPPERCUTS Reynolds! But Darby is back up to RAM Claudio into railing! Darby claws at Claudio, and here comes Top Flight! Dante, Darius, Action, Lio, they all help turn the tides! Claudio TOSSES Darby but Darius throws hands! Claudio THROWS Darius! But now Daniel Garcia & Private Party run out here! ORANGE PUNCH for Moxley!! Private Party gives Yuta the atomic drop and ENZIGIRI!
The BCC is in retreat because now they’re the ones outnumbered! But the brawling keeps happening! Wait, with Private Party out here, here come The Young Bucks! They don’t want to fight The BCC, but they will take advantage of having Quen & Zay here, caught unawares! Will Matthew & Nicholas look to end the party already? Or will there be no denying Quen & Zay their moment?
AEW World Tag Team Championships, Titles VS Team Career: The Young Bucks VS Private Party!
The introductions are made, the belts are raised, as are the stakes! Will this truly be the last chapter between these teams?

Following Dynamite…
AEW shares the footage from the moments after Dynamite went off the air. Chuck Taylor needed to be taken away on a stretcher, in a neck brace, after what Moxley and the BCC did to him. And then Orange Cassidy told Garcia, “What’d I tell you!?” Cassidy knew this was gonna happen! The others kept this from getting any worse, and Garcia said Cassidy needs to take this anger out on BCC, not him. Cassidy says he didn’t want to do this, but Garcia says he has to do this now. The Dark Order added that they have to stick together if they want to beat BCC. Garcia says Cassidy can take care of this, and Cassidy says he is going to take care of this.
On Fright Night Dynamite, Cassidy will handle the BCC. Cassidy leaves, others tell Garcia not to be so hard on Cassidy given what just happened to Chuck. But just what will Freshly Squeezed do in order to end Moxley’s reign of terror?
Jay White w/ Juice Robinson VS Shane Taylor w/ Lee Moriarty!
The Switchblade wants to settle things with Hangman Page, but that means he needs to sharpen his edge. Will Shane Taylor be that sharpening block? Or will Shane teach White how to rumble, bad man, rumble?

White avoids the haymaker to CHOP! Shane grins, then SHOVES White down! Shane eggs White on while White bails out. The fans boo Shane, but White returns and resets with him. White UPPERCUTS, blocks a kick, and CLUBS away on the leg. Lee gets on the apron, but so does Juice. They argue, Shane shoves White back, and Lee trips White up! The ref is too busy with Juice, and Shane DECKS White! The fans boo STP while Shane shakes out his hand. Shane stalks White to ropes, talks trash, and puts him on ropes. Shane CHOKES White, the ref counts, and Shane steps back at 4. White sputters, but Shane stands on him now!
The ref counts as Shane stomps away on White! Shane stops at 4, then goes to the apron. The fans boo but Shane eggs them on, before the APRON LEG DROP! White sputters and slumps to the floor, STP soaks up the heat, and Collision goes picture in picture.
Shane gets up in the face of the front row fans, then drags White back up. Shane puts White back on the apron, ELBOWS him in the chest, then storms back in. Shane stalks White, taunts him, then brings him up. White fires body shots, but Shane just frowns. Shane CLUBS White back down! Shane covers, TWO! White toughs it out but Shane clamps on with a chinlock. Shane squeezes tight but White fights around. White fights up, fires body shots, then fires haymakers! King Switch grins as he trumps the King of The Land! White grabs a mic, and he says, “I’ve known that man, Shane Taylor, for years. And I’ll be honest, he hits a hell of a lot harder than I do. Hangman also hits a lot harder than I do. But maybe that’s why I get under his skin so easily. Despite the year that you’ve had, Hangman, you’re still hellbent on coming after me. Now is that because despite how tough and how good Hangman is supposed to be, at every little bend of our careers, I have always been ahead of you, Hangman? I’m sure you would beg to differ. I am sure you would love to argue that. But a 4-1, really a 5-0 record, means you don’t have a leg to stand on, quite literally.
“So I hope that you’re rehabbing your knee. I’m sure you’re planning, scheming, taking aim. I’m sure you wanna lasso that little belt around my belt, throw me over this top rope, and leave me there until somebody has to pry your grip off of the other end! But Hangman, you best not miss. Because one misstep with me will cost you, just like you know oh so well. BUT, Hangman, this is the year of redemption, so I’m gonna give you one last chance at redemption! One more time, Hangman VS Switchblade, at FULL GEAR!” The fans cheer that, and White adds, “Man that Hangs, Hanging Man, now that I’ve addressed you, let me address them.
“Guns up for my Cedar Rapids Gold Members~!” The fans cheer that, too! White says oh yes! And if you ain’t down with that, they’ve got two words for ya! GUNS UP! The challenge has been issued, will The Cowboy be ready to fight it out in Newark, New Jersey?
Backstage interview with Ricochet.
Lexy Nair is with The One & Only and says he has been clear in his pursuit of the International Championship. Tonight, he faces Lio Rush, but Lexy wants to ask about MVP’s offer. Ricochet says yes, there is a history there to be sure. Shelton Benjamin is a beast inside this ring, but Ricochet is still Outta This World. Because of that, Ricochet is here to do his own thing. But then Lio walks in. Lio says he hears what Ricochet’s saying, but he can’t act like he’s the only one with something to prove. Lio knows Ricochet has business with MVP, but Lio has some history with them, too. They also gave Lio a card, so Ricochet can’t act like he’s special.
Ricochet has Lio calm down. There’s no business with MVP. Ricochet didn’t wanna work with MVP before, he wont’ work with him now. Don’t get it twisted. Lio says nothing’s twisted. Just don’t overlook him. Ricochet may be racking up wins, but if he loses tonight, he won’t get a shot at the International title, he’ll just be sent to the back of the line. The Bad Child heads out, will Ricochet just have to handle him before he can settle the score with The Alpha?
Backstage interview with Kyle Fletcher.
Lexy is now with The Protostar, freshly shaved head, and brings up that this Wednesday- Kyle stops her and says he isn’t just here to talk about the “new and improved” Kyle Fletcher. He is here on Family business. He is here tonight to keep an eye on Ricochet for Don Callis & Takeshita, but also to talk about Fright Night Dynamite. Kyle has called Will Ospreay out to meet him face to face in the ring. If Ospreay shows up, then that will be the last we see of him for a very long time. And if Ospreay does not show, then it just proves Kyle right: Ospreay is a selfish coward, afraid of Kyle. Kyle is the Protostar because he is the prototype of what a star should be in the year 2024.
Kyle also promises that no matter what happens, he will show up to next week’s Collision in Philadelphia to fight anyone in a match. Someone new, someone up-and-coming, so that Kyle can prove he is no longer the future, but that he is the now. Kyle heads out, will the Aerial Assassin return to Dynamite? And who will take this open challenge for next Saturday?

Speaking of being called out, Mrs. Superbad will face Jamie Hayter, just not yet. Penelope is going to wait until Dynamite is in Manchester, New Hampshire on Wednesday, November 6th. For now, she gets back in the ring for a tune-up, but will this Renegade be anything but?

Robyn could not survive, but Hayter is on the tron! She tells Penelope that this is taking a page out of her book. But the corny lines and sob stories will be left for Penelope. November 6th, Dynamite, that is Penelope’s chance to step to Hayter. Will Penelope be there? Because you know Hayter will. The fans cheer, but will Dynamite in Manchester be Superbad for Jamie?

Both teams are in big tag matches tonight, one up in a few moments, how do they help each other prepare? Another massive victory for these living throwbacks! With The Young Bucks battling Private Party one last time on Fright Night, will the Youngest Men Alive be the ones waiting on the other side?
Nigel McGuinness has his sit-down interview with Wheeler Yuta.
Nigel says his feelings for Bryan Danielson aside, he has been tasked with asking why Yuta did what he did. To be precise, why Yuta suffocated Bryan into near unconsciousness. What Yuta did risked irreversible brain damage to Bryan, not to mention the trauma that will stay with him for the rest of his life. Now maybe Yuta was swept up in the moment, being given a bag by Moxley and felt he had to use it. Nigel won’t speculate, he will only hear the words out of Yuta’s mouth. Ultimately, Yuta will deal with the repercussions of his actions for the rest of his life.
Yuta says he thought of all people, Nigel would understand. What’s the matter, Joker? Mad someone killed Batman before you could? Nigel has made it very clear that for 10 years, he has dreamt of ending Bryan’s career. Nigel says no, he dreamt of proving he’s the better wrestler. And how’d that work out for him? Nigel says okay, you smug bastard. But Yuta did way more than try to end a career. Yuta left a wife and two kids with only part of the husband and father that left them earlier that week. Yuta says he and the BCC gave Bryan “a warrior’s death.” They took him out because he no longer has the stomach for this.
The American Dragon we knew was long dead by the time we go tot WrestleDream. The BCC had to remove him for the greater good. Well, be that as it may, Yuta has now crossed a line. So where does it stop? Chuck Taylor, a man that helped train Yuta. Was he just collateral damage? Yuta asks if Nigel thinks he enjoys any of this. If Yuta enjoys doing anything he is doing. He does not, but he does this because he has to! BCC is doing this because they have to! If not for Moxley, for Pac, for Claudio, for Marina, where would Yuta be? Sitting besides a corpse, just hoping that one day, he would rise again and help Yuta?
No, Yuta has no choice, BCC has no choice. They do what they have to do! And if BCC is willing to do those things to the people they love, imagine what they’d do to everyone else “for the greater good.” Yuta storms off set, there’s still more questions than answers. But if they’re doing this because they have to, who will be their next target?
Jake The Snake Roberts & La Faccion Ingobernable speak.
The Snake starts by saying, “When you say FTR in the wrestling world, you know exactly what it means. Greatness. Unbelievable wrestlers. They’ve been on top for years. They’ve proven everything. But what they haven’t proven to me is, can you stand in the ring with these guys? I don’t think you can. You see, these aren’t just wrestlers. They’re assassins. They will attack you, they will grab an arm, they will work it over. Yes, we know you have a bad shoulder, that’s exactly what we’re gonna do. How ’bout that? I told you what we’re gonna do before we even do it. We’re gonna twist it, bend it, even break it. That’s what we’re gonna do.”
Rush says they are LFI, and they will destroy FTR! And you will burn! LFI raises their fists, but will there be fists flying back at them from the #TopGuys?
Ricochet VS Lio Rush!

The fans boo as Lio played possum, and now he DIVES! Down goes Ricochet and Lio leaves him behind while Collision goes picture in picture.
The ring count starts, Ricochet stands, into another DIVE! Lio hits Ricochet again, and he snarls as he storms over to him. Lio refreshes the ring count, he wants to win this himself. Lio whips, but Ricochet reverses and sends Lio into railing! Ricochet brings Lio around, fires forearms, then whips again. Lio hits more railing, and Ricochet refreshes the count. Ricochet runs in, but Lio ducks! Ricochet hits railing tailbone first! Both men are down on the outside as the ring count continues. Lio stands at 4 of 10 but he and Ricochet slide into the ring. Lio CHOPS Ricochet, follows him to a corner, then fires hands!
The ref counts, Lio stops at 4, but then he CHOKES Ricochet! The ref counts again, Lio stops at 4, and he drags Ricochet up. Lio RAMS into Ricochet, puts him up top, then ROCKS him with a right. Lio climbs up to join Ricochet, but Ricochet fires body shots. Ricochet ROCKS Lio with a forearm, steps inside the ropes, but Lio resists the superplex! Lio fires body shots, brings Ricochet back around, and ROCKS him with a forearm. Ricochet wobbles, but Lio stands him up. Ricochet ROCKS Lio, and Collision returns to single picture. The fans rally as Ricochet CHOPS Lio, then brings him up. The fans fire up but Lio fires palm strikes!
Lio ROCKS Ricochet again, then adjusts. BULLDOG HOTSHOT off the top rope! Ricochet falls back, Lio goes back up! FINAL- NO, Ricochet moves and Lio rolls through! Ricochet FLYING FOREARMS, then NORTHERN LIGHTS! Roll through and deadlift BRAINBUSTER! STANDING SHOOTING STAR! Cover, TWO!! Lio survives and the fans fire up while Ricochet stays focused. Ricochet drags Lio up, dragon sleeper and suplex, but Lio fights with knees! Lio is free, and he STUNNERS! Ricochet wobbles, Lio runs up, but Ricochet blocks a kick! Ricochet flips Lio, SUPERKICKS him, and then runs up, but Lio avoids the ax kick!
Lio LARIATS Ricochet! The fans fire up as Lio runs, into RUSH- NO, Ricochet catches him for a BLUE THUNDER BOMB! Cover, TWO! Lio survives but Ricochet says he knows The Don Callis Family is watching. Ricochet drags Lio up, dragon sleeper for the VERTI- NO, Lio slips free and shoves Ricochet at the ref! Lio then rolls Ricochet up, TWO!! Ricochet escapes, but Lio spins him to POISON-RANA! Ricochet sputters, into Lio’s SPINNING ENZIGIRI! Cover, TWO! Ricochet survives, Lio grows frustrated. The fans rally for Ricochet but Lio goes out of the ring. Lio is fuming as he grabs a chair!
The fans are torn as Lio brings the chair over. The ref warns Lio not to, but then Ricochet DROPKICKS the chair into Lio! Ricochet builds speed to FLY! Down goes Lio and the fans are thunderous! Ricochet puts Lio in, takes aim, and just like last night, he loads up to BANG, SLIDING LARIAT!
Winner: Ricochet, by pinfall
Ricochet’s take on the Hidden Blade does it again, and Ricochet tells Takeshita through the camera that there is no running from this! When and where will the inevitable showdown go down?
Backstage interview with Harley Cameron.
Lexy is now with the wild Aussie, but she whips around so fast, her hair smacks Lexy in the face! Harley claims this is NOT Harley! The kitty cat face paint means she is Thunder Harley! What. But Harley calls out Thunder Rosa. You think you’re the only woman who can paint her face? Look at this! Harley told Rosa she would feel Harley’s wrath. But how does it feel to be mocked?! Doesn’t feel good, does it? But then Rosa turns Harley around, and feints a punch! Harley covers up, but Rosa says Harley can calm down. Rosa won’t hurt her. Yet. First, Harley is one of the nastiest pussy cats Rosa’s ever seen in her life.
And now, Rosa has to teach Harley what this paint truly means. In Mexico, they celebrate Día de Muertos, The Day of the Dead. And believe her, you don’t want to mock that. That is why Rosa has to teach her a lesson. Unless Harley is a scaredy cat. In that case, November 2nd, Collision, they will have a Día de Muertos Match! Got it? See you there, perra. Rosa leaves, Harley’s voice cracks as she tries to threaten her, “Feel the wrath of Harley Cameron!” Will the only wrath felt be that of La Mera Mera?
Backstage interview with The Undisputed Kingdom and Beast Mortos.
Collision returns from break and Lexy is now with Roderick Strong, Matt Taven, and LFI’s menacing minotaur. Lexy says Roddy asked for more time with Mortos, so the floor is his. “BEEEAST! My boy!” Roddy says something is obviously lost in translation. But they know that he knows that he wants to be with them, and they know that he knows they want that, too. Taven knows what they’ve been trying hasn’t been working. Last week’s meat platter, last night’s Beef, it didn’t work, so they’ll change tactics from meats to sweets. After all, Halloween is around the corner. Here is a gift basket of goodies. Lexy sneaks one of the Almond Joys.
Mortos still seems skeptical, so Roddy calls in “MIIIKE!” Bennett steps in wearing a Mortos mask! He communicates with Mortos in grunts and growls, as well as hand motions, that all of that is for Mortos to eat. Roddy says that tonight, they can hit the town and do some early trick-or-treating! Old school style! Roddy hands Mortos a plastic bag and heads out. Mortos seems into that, at least. But uh, is he really going to leave LFI for The Kingdom just for that?

Though she put in some work just last night on Rampage, The Star of the Show will keep on going because that’s what a star does! But will The Hellbent Vixen slow down Anna’s journey to the AEW Women’s World Championship? Or will everyone remember why Anna is The Queenslayer?

Winner: Anna Jay, by pinfall
Viva fell off “Widow’s Peak” and that sealed the deal! Anna is rolling into next week’s championship match, will she be able to tear down The Glamour? Or will AEW still be All About Mariah?
Mariah May speaks.
“Anna, if you’d left this business tomorrow, do you think anyone would give a s**t? Or would we just fine some other fat ass blonde, teach her how to do an arm-drag, and watch her waste five years of her life? Why did it take me nine months to do what you couldn’t in your entire career? You think you’re an inspiration to little girls? Telling them to follow their dreams? Let’s be honest, girls, anyone who never gives up was never good enough to get it done in the first place. You think because you won pin in Japan, you can be a champion? You wanna know what i learned in Japan? The same thing I learned in AEW: That there is not a single woman alive that can touch me.
“You didn’t beat the champ. But now, you will face the champ. And you will find that behind all this glamour and gold is a woman from Hell who will step on every dream you have ever had. You said it’s sink or swim? That’s nice. Because now, you’re going to drown.” Will Mariah make Anna’s dream come true turn into a nightmare?
AEW hears from Adam Cole and Buddy Matthews.
The Panama City Playboy says, “There are some people that seem to think Adam Cole is fragile. Saying that they want the ‘old’ Adam Cole. Well, my friends, the ‘old’ Adam Cole is dead.” The Aussie Juggernaut says he didn’t call Cole out from disrespect. In fact, it is quite the opposite. But Buddy respects the old Adam, not the new. Cole says Buddy is one of the best in AEW, but he will be a test, Cole’s first victory. Buddy welcomes Cole back as a huge fan. And the Cole of old would put up a fight. Cole says he won’t just come back being thankful, but as one of the absolute best on this planet. That is what he will do.
Buddy says this new, fragile Cole standing before him today… He just doesn’t have it in him. The House of Black’s perfect soldier is looking to break the new Adam, but will Adam get through him to continue on towards the grudge match with MJF?
Backstage interview with Kyle O’Reilly & Tomohiro Ishii.
Lexy Nair is now with The Conglomeration’s Violent Artist and Stone Pitbull, and Kyle says he finds it laughable. Chris Jericho & The Learning Tree really thought they could run #BigTom outta AEW for good? Heh, well, he’s baaack~! And he has his eyes set on The Nueve. By the way, Kyle talked with Mark Briscoe earlier, and Chicken told him the Word of the Day is, “Honor.” And after what Learning Tree pulled in that Ladder War, it’s… Well, how would you put it, Big Tom? Ishii says it all in Japanese, and Kyle says damn right! Learning Tree has no honor.
As for Orange Cassidy, they’ve never seen that man that livid after what happened. Moxley bit off more he can chew, but they’ll let us hear it from Cassidy himself on Fright Night. The Cassidy you’ll see is pissed. As for Kyle, Lexy points out Kyle was watching The Undisputed Kingdom. Why was that? Well, if Lexy must know, Kyle keeps his eyes on everything AEW. Yes, that Undisputed Kingdom stuff caught his eye, but he is not living in the past. Kyle isn’t even worried about the future. He is focused on the present, and right now, he is good with The Conglomeration. If so, will Kyle have no problem letting Adam Cole & Roderick Strong chase after their past in a fight with MJF?
FTR VS La Faccion Ingobernable!

Mortos CANNONBALLS Dax, Rush gives BULL’S HORNS to Cash! But wait! THE OUTRUNNERS run out here! Turbo & Truth run LFI off! Turbo swings Rush’s favorite green cable around, but Jake has his men stand down. Will LFI need a fourth man if they’re to burn down #FTRunners? Or will nothing stop these Top Guys now that they’ve got “the stuff?”
My Thoughts:
A great Collision, though with only so much “go-home” energy towards Fright Night Dynamite. Ricochet and Lio had a good backstage promo together to add some heat to their match, and maybe even tease that one of them will join Hurt Syndicate after all. Great match from them, and great win for Ricochet. Good promo from Kyle, but it didn’t really add much to what we’re anticipating for Dynamite with Ospreay confronting him. As I said for Rampage just last night, Ospreay VS Fletcher and Ricochet VS Takeshita are certainly both happening at Full Gear, and those could all go any which way they want.
Speaking of Full Gear, we officially have the first match made for it with Jay White VS Hangman Page. Great match from White VS Shane, and Shane really should be a champion with how solid he’s been in and out of the ring. With Jericho being the new ROH World Champion, I’d love if Shane Taylor Promotions went after The Learning Tree. But good promo from The Conglomeration, with Kyle tying in multiple stories. Jericho VS Ishii is probably happening for Full Gear, too. Jericho VS Briscoe was likely put on WrestleDream because of the Jericho, uh, I guess “star power.” There is still fan heat on Jericho, but I don’t think that’s gonna stop AEW from putting Jericho on PPVs.
Good opening video with the footage from Dynamite. Cassidy confronting Moxley is hopefully to get us to Moxley VS Cassidy and an AEW World Championship match at Full Gear so we can finally see Moxley take the belt out of the briefcase and show what they’ve done to it. And they better have remodeled it or else what’s the point of hiding it? Wheeler Yuta and Nigel had a very good interview promo that hit all the right beats. And with Yuta saying this is an almost reluctant obligation to some “greater good,” I could see them playing up more of his internal conflict as Cassidy feuds with Moxley.
Good return match for Penelope Ford, though it felt like the first few minutes were her getting back into the match rhythm. She of course won, but good promo from Hayter on the tron to call her out. A shame they can’t make Hayter VS Penelope for Fright Night or even just next week’s Collision, but I suppose those cards are already getting stacked. Anna VS Viva was really good, and therefore a really good win for Anna. Mariah had a good promo to insult Anna as a dime-a-dozen, and it’s almost a shame that Anna isn’t likely to win next week. At least, not if they’re gonna stick to an eventual Mariah VS Mina story.
Very good promo from Harley and Rosa to set up a match for next Saturday’s Día de Muertos Collision. Rosa stepping things up with Harley right to a stipulation match is some good stuff, and it’ll make for a solid win for Rosa’s return. Though, there’s a chance Saraya is no longer “incapacitated” and returns to screw Rosa over, setting up for Rosa VS Saraya at Full Gear. After all, Rosa still needs to bide her time before going after a championship, since Mariah has Anna and maybe Mina while Mercedes Mone clearly has Kris Statlander next. Then Rosa can build to a title match for Worlds End.
Very good promo from Adam Cole and Buddy Matthews ahead of their match on Fright Night, which will be great stuff. Them referring to “Old Adam Cole” is probably code for Heel Adam Cole, and I feel like on the road to Cole VS MJF at Full Gear, we’ll get hints of Heel Adam Cole since he and MJF kayfabe hate each other that badly. And great stuff in the tag team stories tonight. As a continuation from just last night on Rampage, Undisputed Kingdom is still futilely pursuing Mortos, which is still hilarious. FTRunners and LFI had really good promos ahead of the different matches. Great win for Outrunners over MXM, and awesome main event for FTR to beat LFI.
LFI VS FTRunners in an 8 Man Tag would make for a great match, and FTR were the ones giving The Outrunners the nod that they can go for the titles next, so it’d be great of FTRunners won the 8 Man to help that. Plus, if The Outrunners go up against The Young Bucks, the fans are going to go nuts for Truth & Turbo the whole time.
My Score: 8.9/10

Triple Threat Tag: The Kingdom VS Shane Taylor Promotions VS The Gates of Agony!
We heard all three teams stake their claim to tag title opportunity, but now it is time for someone to earn it! Will it be Matt Taven & Mike Bennett, Shane Taylor & Lee Moriarty, or Bishop Kaun & Toa Liona that climb over the others towards the top of the mountain?
In this form of Triple Threat, only two teams are legal at a time, so Taven steps up to #TAIGASTYLE. They circle while fans rally up. Taven and Lee tie up, Taven goes for an arm and wrenches it. Taven wristlocks, but Lee spins, slips through, and wrenches back to trip Taven. Lee runs, Taven stays low, but Lee handsprings. Lee arm-drags then floats around to rear mount. Taven scrambles to the ROPEBREAK. and Lee lets off, to KICK an arm! The ref reprimands, Taven storms up, but Lee kicks low. Lee CLUBS Taven to the STP corner, but whips corner to corner. Taven goes up and over, keeps moving, but Lee hurdles. Lee runs, but into a DROPKICK!
The fans fire up and Lee looms over Lee. “IIII’M Matt Taven!” Taven has a leg, floats, Oklahoma Roll, TWO! Taven wrenches Lee again, brings him to The Kingdom’s corner, and Bennett tags in. Bennett whips Lee into Taven’s BOOT! Bennet ROCKS Lee, Taven LARIATS! Bennett cover, TWO! Lee is tougher than that, but Bennett tags Taven. The Kingdom double whip, Lee holds ropes, and Kaun sneaks a tag. Lee BOOTS Taven away, Bennett CLOBBERS Lee! Kaun ELBOWS Bennett, RAMS Taven, and UPPERCUTS Tavne. Taven BOOTS Kaun, but Kaun back ELBOWS! Kaun brings Taven around to whip, but Taven reverses.
Taven runs in, Kaun dodges and comes back to LARIAT! The fans fire up and Kaun powers up, to then STANDING MOONSAULT! Cover, TWO! Kaun drags Taven up and over, tags Liona, and The Gates mug Taven! The ref reprimands, The Gates stop, and Liona tags Kaun back in. They mug Taven more, then Kaun whips Liona in for him to LARIAT Taven! Kaun drop toeholds, Liona SPLASHES, and Kaun slingshot SENTONS! Cover, TWO! Kaun looms over Taven, and he brings Taven up. Kaun tags Liona, they double whip Taven to a corner. Kaun sends Liona in again but Taven BOOTS! Taven dodges Kaun to POST him!

Bennett winds up, CHOPS, but Liona just winds up in return! Bennett dodges the lariat to SUPERKICK! Liona staggers, Shane tags in! Liona runs up into another SUPERKICK! Kaun whips Bennett, Bennett reverses and DROPKICKS! But then Big Bad Shaney T. SPINEBUSTERS Bennett! Cover, TWO! Shane is frustrated but he taunts Bennett. Shane drags Bennett up, fires the fans up, but Bennett fires body shots! Bennett ROCKS Shane, CHOPS him, and CHOPS again!
Bennett CHOPS more, then runs, ducks ‘n’ dodges, but the SOUTHPAW LARIAT hits! Cover, TWO! Shane is frustrated again but he hauls Bennett up. Tag to Lee, and STP mugs Bennett while Rampage goes picture in picture.
Lee stomps a mudhole into Bennett, stops as the ref counts, but he sneaks mule kicks while “apologizing.” Lee then stops to stand Bennett up for a strike fest in the corner! Tag to Shane, and Shane stands Bennett up for a CHOP! Bennett sputters, Lee pretends to lose his mind, but Bennett fires up and gets in Shane’s face! Shane fires a BODY SHOT in return! Bennett sputters again, drags himself up, and he CHOSP! And CHOPS! And CHOSP! Shane eggs Bennett on so Bennett CHOPS, CHOPS, CHOPS, and he throws the elbow pad off! ROLLING- HAYMAKER from Shane! Bennett falls over, this could be a knockout!
The ref checks, Bennett is still in this. Shane paces, talks smack on former teammate Kaun, then he sucker punches Liona! The ref reprimands, Shane talks more smack on Kaun, then goes back to Bennett. Bennett SPINEBUSTERS Shane!! Both men are down and Rampage returns to single picture. The fans rally, Shane and Bennett crawl, hot tags to Taven and Lee! Taven dodges Lee to SPLASH Shane in a corner! Then he LEG LARIATS Lee! GAMANGIRI for Shane! Kaun runs in, Taven goes up and over to SUPERKICK! Taven then sees Lona is back, triangle jump ENZIGIRI! Bennett runs in to forearm SMASH Lee in a corner!
Taven adds a STINGER SPLASH, then feeds Lee to the fireman’s carry! DEATH VALLEY DRIVER, and JUST THE TIP of the knee! Cover, Shane breaks it! Shane bobs ‘n’ weaves Bennett to HEADBUTT and URENAGE! Shane blocks a kick from Taven, throws him down, and KNEES him in the face! Shane fires up, but Kaun runs up! Shane blocks Kaun’s kick, shoves him away, but Liona sneaks a tag. Kaun dodges Shane to fireman’s carry! AIR RAID CRASH! Liona SPLASHES Bennett in a corner! Then SPALSH for Taven! BACK BODY BLOCK for Bennett, FOREWARD BODY BLOCK for Taven!
Lee kicks Lion, reels him in, but Liona wrenches out to short arm LARIAT! The fans fire up as Liona fireman’s carries Lee. Bennett CHOPS Liona again and again, but Liona just grins. Bennett runs, but he’s added to a DOUBLE SAMAON DROP! The fans are thunderous for Liona, he and Kaun aim at Lee in a corner! Kaun runs up, METEORA! Taven sneaks a tag before the HIP ATTACK The Gates drag Lee up to OPEN THE GATES on Lee!! But Taven is the legal man! Bennett hits a BOSTON BAYONET on Kaun! Liona runs up, Bennett DUMPS him out! Taven aims at Lee, FROG SPLASH! Cover, The Kingdom wins!!
Winners: The Undisputed Kingdom, by pinfall
Despite facing some big bad competition, the former ROH World Tag Team Champions stand tall! Roddy celebrates with them, will everyone in The Kingdom get what they want in the near future?
Backstage interview with Beef.
Renee Paquette welcomes Anthony Henry’s second-cousin-in-law to Rampage, and notes he will be in action later tonight against The Beast Mortos. But Renee wants to ask first, how is Henry doing? Beef thanks Renee, he feels great to be back at an AEW show. And yeah, he’d be lying if he didn’t say Henry wasn’t all beat up. Henry’s biceps are up in his shoulder, that’s how beat up. But Beef has been trying to get in contact, from text messages to Facebook DMs to voicemails, and nothing. Beef has begged Henry to put him into contact with JD Drake, Henry would not give up the number.
But that is besides the fact that tonight, Beast Mortos, they say you’re the most beastly beast there ever was. But Beef is the beefiest man there ever was! And in their family, they fight hard and- OH! JD Drake is here! Renee welcomes JD back, he thanks her, but JD wants to talk with Beef. JD wishes Beef luck out there, and he’ll see him at ringside. JD pats Beef on the shoulder, and as one Workhorseman clocks out, another clocks in. Beef is all fired up that he has JD’s approval! Will JD Drake have Beef’s back as he goes up against one menacing minotaur?
Backstage interview with The Undisputed Kingdom and Beast Mortos.
AEW returns from break, and Renee is now with Roddy, Taven, Bennett and said minotaur. Roddy says, “BEEEAST! Hey, bro, thanks for joining us again. I just wanted to let you know this. It’s really bugging us, especially me, the fact that we’re not gonna be out there with you tonight. That’d be so much better.” Taven says yeah, “Frank,” doesn’t he realize he is so much better with them than La Faccion Ingobernable? The Kingdom’s even given Mortos gifts, like that meat platter Bennett had last week. This week, they step it up a notch! It’s the human known as Beef! And if Mortos wins, he can EAT Beef tonight!
Roddy says no, no, no eating humans. But hey, you can lead a beast to water, but you can’t make ’em… Uh, whatever Mortos does. He’s still Roddy’s boy, though. The Kingdom heads out, Mortos sighs, shakes his head, and then snarls. Will this odd kind of encouragement somehow get Mortos back on The Kingdom’s side? Or are they barking up the wrong tree?
Anna Jay VS Leila Grey!
The Queenslayer won her title opportunity just last Saturday for Battle of the Belts, and she will face Mariah May for the AEW Women’s World Championship next Saturday, November 2nd! Will the Star of the Show be ready for the big time? Or will the Top Flight Attendant cause some delays on Anna’s ascent to the top?

Anna headlocks, Leila powers up but cannot power out as Anna holds tight. Leila fires body shots, powers up and out, but Anna runs her over! The fans cheer, Anna keeps moving, but Leila drops. Anna whips, Leila reverses, but Anna ducks ‘n’ dodges to FLYING FOREARM!
The fans fire up with Anna and she goes corner to corner. Forearm SMASH in the corner, then Anna puts Leila up top! Wrench, DANGEROUS JAY KICK, then the ICONOCLASM! Anna wants Leila to stand up, and she does, into a SHOTGUN! A shot at Mariah may, too! Then Gory Especial, for the GORY BOMB! Cover, Anna wins!
Winner: Anna Jay, by pinfall
Jay stands over Grey, and she lets May know, “See you next weekend!” Anna blows a kiss, but we see Deonna Purrazzo & Taya Valkyrie watching. Do the Virtuosa & La Wera Loca feel Anna is a prospect? Or a target?
BREAKING NEWS for Collision!
Anna’s workload increases as she will take on Viva Van. Will the Star of the Show show she can do it all with only 24 hours to prepare? Then, though he has Hangman Page on his hitlist, Jay White will go 1v1 with Shane Taylor. Will Cedar Rapids soon Breathe With The Switchblade? Or will Shane show White how to rumble, bad man, rumble? Plus, while she keeps calling Jamie Hayter out, Penelope Ford is not fighting Hayter. Instead, Mrs. Superbad takes on Robyn Renegade. Will Penelope use Robyn as a warm-up for the revenge she has planned on Hayter?
That’s not all, as Wheeler Yuta agrees to a sit-down interview with Nigel McGuinness. Can Nigel get to the bottom of why The Decoder betrayed Danielson? Plus, a couple tag teams looking for rebounds are in action as MXM Collection takes on The Outrunners. Will Mansoor & Mason make this a fashionable Saturday night? Or will they be unable to keep up with The Youngest Men Alive? And though he’s in action tonight, Ricochet will have to turn back around to face Lio Rush. Will the One & Only make quick work of Nick Wayne so he can be ready for his Collision with The Bad Child?
The Beast Mortos w/ LFI VS BEEF w/ JD Drake!
The minotaur wants to feast, and he’ll have all he can eat with BEEF! But will anyone be able to rein in “the beefiest man alive?” Or will we see him end up as ground beef?
The bell rings and the fans rally up for “BEEF! BEEF! BEEF!” Mortos and Beef circle, then they start shoving! They both rev up, run up, and RAM! And RAM again! The fans fire up, both men fire up, and they RAM again! Beef says “YOU~!” Mortos runs, Beef drops, then Beef sets up. Mortos rolls off Beef’s backdrop, then bypasses Beef. Beef cartwheels! Mortos hauls Beef up to TOSS him out, then Mortos storms up on JD. The ref stops Mortos and JD, but that lets Rush y Dralistico mug Beef! Dralistico even sends Beef into railing! And BOOTS him! And stomps him! The ref counts, Mortos steps back to taunt JD.
JD is furious, but Beef is up! Beef rolls Mortos! The ref is busy with JD! The ref misses the count, Beef might’ve had that win! Mortos then dropkicks Beef’s legs out! Mortos puts Beef on ropes to CHOKE him! Mortos stops to glare at JD, the ref is distracted again, and Dralistico CHOKES Beef! Dralistico fires HEADBUTT after HEADBUTT, and gets away with it all! Rush brings in the bright green cable! The fans boo, JD is unsure what to do, but Rush LASHES Beef again and again! JD wants to get in, but Mortos is right in his way! And then Rush CHOKES JD with the cable!! The fans boo, Rush tells all the tag teams of AEW to beware! LFI mugs JD now, then they let off, just so Rush can LASH JD with the cable! Dralistico says all tag teams will burn! LFI are set to face FTR tomorrow night, can the #TopGuys make sure LFI’s rampage ends?
Backstage interview with Harley Cameron.
Renee is with the wild Aussie and notes it has been a rough week for her. She lost to Kris Statlander last Saturday on Collision, then she got punched in the face by Thunder Rosa. Harley says big deal! You’re telling Harley that you haven’t been beaten by Kris and then punched by Rosa before? No, she hasn’t. Well, then isn’t Renee special? Harley tells Rosa, “Do you know who you’re dealing with?” Her voice cracks so Harley composes herself. She is attractive, talented, charming and whimsical. Not to mention musical and magical. Harley does the separated thumb trick… Renee asks Harley please move it along.
Harley says she can play rough, too! Harley can pack a punch! La Mera Mera? More like NOT… Mera! Rosa is smitten with the wrong kitten! And anything that Rosa can do, Harley can do also! Renee asks, “Like what?” Harley says you’ll see! Sure… But then when and where will this Outcast take on the former AEW Women’s World Champion with all her different facets?
Ricochet VS Nick Wayne w/ Shayna Wayne!
The One & Only has called out Konosuke Takeshita for the International Championship, followed Konosuke to Canada, but still hasn’t gotten his shot at Konosuke. Will there be no denying that Ricochet is a worthy contender? Or will The Patriarchy’s Prodigy live up to that title by earning his own title shot?
The bell rings and the fans rally for Ricochet as he circles with Nick. They feel things out, tie up, and Ricochet powers Nick back. Nick is in the corner, but he turns things around. Ricochet turns things back around, but Nick pulls tights to put Ricochet in a corner. The ref counts, Nick grinds forearms into Ricochet’s face, but then he backs off. Ricochet storms up on Nick and Nick goes to the other corner. Nick bails out, the fans boo and Ricochet is annoyed, but Nick smirks. Ricochet backs off, Nick slowly returns, and then Nick bails back out. Ricochet is annoyed but Nick says he has all the time in the world.
Well, no, the ring count starts, he has the ten count. Ricochet waits, Nick steps back in, and Ricochet says about time. The fans rally for Ricochet, so Nick steps out again. The fans boo Nick, Nick steps in, and he circles with Ricochet again. They tie up and Ricochet slips around to headlock. Nick powers up and out, but Ricochet runs him over! Cover, ONE, but Ricochet headlocks for a takeover. The fans cheer, Nick fights around, and Ricochet mockingly asks, “What’re you gonna do, Mom?” Shayna is annoyed, but Nick rolls Ricochet to a cover. TWO, and Ricochet grinds the headlock. Nick rolls free, then kicks low!
Nick ROCKS Ricochet, has him in a corner, and then CHOPS! The fans “WOO~” but also boo, and Nick whips corner to corner, Ricochet goes up and over, keeps moving, and he rolls off Ricochet’s back. Ricochet rolls under, handsprings back and RANAS! Kip up and DROPKICK! The fans are all fired up as Nick bails out. Ricochet runs to fake Nick out, then BOOTS him from the apron! Ricochet uses the apron to ASAI MOONSAULT, but Nick dodges! And Mother Wayne stands in the way! Ricochet says mama needs to move, but Nick BOOTS Ricochet down! Nick drags Ricochet up to run him and TOSS him over railing!
Nick slides into the ring and soaks up the heat, but Ricochet rises as Rampage goes picture in picture.
Ricochet gets a hand from fans to make it up and over the railing, but the ring count is already 5 of 10. Ricochet crawls to the ring, shakes out the stars, and he slides in at 8! Nick runs up to DROPKICK Ricochet back out! Nick goes out to fetch Ricochet, ROCK him with a forearm, and then brings Ricochet to the ramp! DDT on the ramp! Nick soaks up heat from the fans, leaves Ricochet behind again, and the count begins. Ricochet checks his neck before he crawls his way back to ringside. Ricochet slides in at 9! Nick mockingly applauds, then storms up to BOOT Ricochet to the corner! Nick brings Ricochet around, and BOOTS him again!
Nick reels Ricochet in, snap suplexes, then covers, ONE!! Ricochet toughs it out but Nick just smirks. Nick drags Ricochet around, KNEES him in the back, and then smirks as he KNEES Ricochet again! Ricochet hobbles to a corner, but Nick goes after him. Ricochet ROCKS Nick, CHOPS Nick, but Nick kicks back! Ricochet CHOPS again, then puts Nick in a corner. Ricochet whips corner to corner but Nick reverses, and Ricochet hits buckles hard! Ricochet falls back, Nick checks his stinging chest, and Nick snarls as he storms over. Nick drags Ricochet up, snapmares him back down, and clamps on a chinlock.
Ricochet endures, even as Nick digs his knee into Ricochet’s back. Ricochet pries at the hold, grabs at Nick’s face, but Nick thrashes Ricochet around. Nick pulls back on the hold, but Ricochet fights up as Rampage returns to single picture. Ricochet JAWBREAKERS free! And CHOPS! And CHOPS again! Nick kicks low again, whips Ricochet again, but Ricochet reverses! Ricochet runs up to RAM Nick, then GAMANGIRI from the apron! Ricochet springboards, RIDER KICK! Ricochet lands on his feet while Nick tumbles out! Ricochet runs to FOSBURY FLOP! Down goes Nick, and Ricochet checks the eyebrows before putting Nick back in.
Ricochet springboards again, CROSSOVER FLYING LARIAT! Cover, TWO! Ricochet dunked on Nick but that’s not enough, STANDING SHOOTING STAR! Cover, TWO! Nick stays in this but Ricochet stays focused. The fans fire up and want that “ONE MORE TIME!” Ricochet puts Nick in a drop zone, then he climbs up a corner. The ref tells Shayna to stay back, but Nick CLAWS Ricochet’s face! The ref reprimands, the fans boo, but Nick climbs up after Ricochet. But Ricochet fires body shots, then forearms! Ricochet HEADBUTTS Nick down! Ricochet adjusts, the fans fire up, and 450- NO, Ricochet rolls through as Nick moves!
Ricochet comes back, Nick dodges, then clinches! Ricochet fights the nelson to arm-drag, and CHOP in the corner! Ricochet whips, Nick reverses to STUNNER! Then victory roll, with ropes! TWO!! Ricochet escapes the cheat but Nick argues the count. The ref says the count was fair, and here comes Ricochet! Nick sends Ricochet into buckles! Then full nelson, DRAGON SUPLEX! Bridging cover, TWO!! Ricochet survives and Shayna is furious! Nick is stunned, but he refocuses and drags Ricochet up. Nick calls his shot, goes up and up, but Ricochet waistlocks first! Nick fights free, ELBOWS Ricochet, and runs, into a TIGER WALL KICK!
Ricochet UPPERCUTS, runs, rebounds, CYCLONE KICK! Then a deadlift GERMAN SUPLEX! Bridging cover, TWO!! Nick survives, the fans fire up, and Ricochet is beside himself! Ricochet rises, the fans rallying behind him. Nick fights the fireman’s carry, so Ricochet ROCKS him! Fireman’s carry now, but Nick ducks the roundhouse! Nick BOOTS, Ricochet SUPERKICKS! Nick PELES! Ricochet HALF ‘N’ HALF PLEXES! Nick staggers up, Ricochet runs, springboard, into a CUTTER! Nick underhooks, TIGER DESTROYER!?! Cover, TWO?!? Ricochet survives and no one can believe it, least of all Nick!
Nick drags Ricochet up again, calls his shot, and he goes up, up, and WAYNE’S- NO, Ricochet dodges it to JUMP KNEE! And then dragon sleeper, for the VERTIGO DRIVER!! Ricochet isn’t done with Nick, though, as he aims from the corner! BANG and SLIDING LARIAT!! Cover, Ricochet wins!
Winner: Ricochet, by pinfall
That main event was #OuttaThisWorld! Ricochet brings out his own take on Hidden Blade, a shot of respect to his rival, Will Ospreay, but wait! The Alpha is here! Konosuke Takeshita steps out on stage, International Championship on his shoulder. Konosuke looks at the title, then at Ricochet, and tells Ricochet to bring it. Ricochet says same to Konosuke. When and where will these two young icons battle it out for the gold?
My Thoughts:
A great Rampage here, and I am glad that even with Rampage’s future in question, they are putting great matches on here that do have some story implications. That Triple Threat Tag was a great opening, but I am a little surprised Kingdom wins when they’re just tangentially involved with the MJF VS Cole story. But Roddy being with them to then talk with Mortos was still great stuff, I really appreciate this sort of comedic obliviousness where clearly, Mortos was never in The Kingdom, he is most certainly in LFI, but The Kingdom still want him to join them. It won’t happen but it’s still good story reasons for Kingdom and LFI to feud at some point.
Speaking of, good stuff with Beef, I really appreciate them incorporating ROH story here. JD Drake showing up here was a bit of a surprise, but while he has a more positive perspective on Beef, he basically steps right into the role Anthony Henry had where they tell Beef to not be so hyper and so, well, Beef. Beef VS Mortos was a surprisingly great match, Beef held his own but of course Mortos wins. LFI stands tall having beat up Beef and JD, LFI VS FTR for Collision will be great stuff, too.
Good but short match from Anna VS Leila, and of course Anna wins. Deonna & Taya watching is certainly an intriguing detail. That duo has been needing to do something to build this alliance up, and trying to recruit Anna would be a good story. I don’t see Anna winning the title, so Anna perhaps fighting off Deonna & Taya could be good stuff. Maybe a chance for Tay Conti to come back? Well, anyway, good promo from Harley, she continues to be very funny, and she will surely be fed to Rosa in Rosa’s return to AEW in-ring action. And while no fifth match as filler is a good thing, a little surprised there was no Hayter, since she said on Dynamite she wants a fight. Maybe Hayter goes after Penelope on Collision?
Great main event from Ricochet VS Nick, especially with Nick getting to show what he can do. But in the end, Ricochet of course won. Konosuke coming out to basically accept Ricochet’s challenge without having to say anything was a good detail, and we know that match will be awesome. Hard to say Ricochet wins with how Don Callis Family will surely cheat, especially with this story of Ospreay and Fletcher now running parallel. There is a scenario where Ospreay wins against Fletcher, Ricochet dethrones Konosuke, and then we get an Ospreay VS Ricochet rematch for the International Championship at like Worlds End in December.
My Score: 8.8/10
