But in the end, ZSJ snatches away the tiebreaker win, truly establishing himself as perhaps the best today! But both ZSJ and Hechi still want more from the other, when and where will we see these two take it to a fourth round?

Winner: El Desperado, by pinfall (still IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion)
It was quite the Battle in the Valley, but it seems Taiji could not use grace as a cheat code to win. Will he just have to fight even harder if he wants to be champion again?
As for Desperado, he has the belt on his shoulder as he gets the mic. In English, he thanks everyone for coming to the show. But he also admits his English is not so good, sorry. Despy does not some fans were cheering Suzuki-Gun, but uh, Suzuki-Gun is over. But Despy still respects Minoru Suzuki, and no matter what, Suzuki-Gun is still number one. Okay, you guys? The fans cheer that! But again, Suzuki-Gun is done, so this time, cheer NJPW, okay? The fans also cheer that. Despy thanks them, and says NJPW is ICHIBAN!! The fans cheer again, and Despy leaves it at that. The first defense is done, who will be next for the Rogue Luchador?
My Thoughts:
An awesome Battle in the Valley, and it partly makes me feel bad I missed Strong Style Evolved, I would’ve liked to see WCWC VS GYV for those tag titles. Now, obviously these titles were all retained, but as I’ve said in the past, keeping the status quo is fine so long as it’s done in great matches. Gabe VS Ishii opening was a surprise, but seeing them go the full 30 minutes was an awesome way for Gabe to retain the title. And now Windy City Riot having a 30 minute Ironman match is going to be awesome stuff. Though something about that is interesting, because if they didn’t lose a fall in 30, there’s a chance we get like one fall with just minutes to spare and then time runs out before the other guy can tie the score.
Great openweight tag title match, getting a win over Yoh & Rocky is great for WCWC as they’re still a younger team. But at the same time, it was with a great Heel cheat spot, that’s totally fine. The 8 Woman Tag was a lot of fun, but a little scary there with Adora needing a moment. She perhaps just got the air knocked out of her from all those combo moves. But Team Mina, which was basically her faction of Empress Nexus Venus from Stardom, was a good choice for winning. Mina only just lost the Rev-Pro Women’s title, she needed a rebound. But Anna Jay got to look strong as her team’s final woman, maybe Anna can get herself to a NJPW women’s title.
ELP VS Cobb being a draw of its own kind was great stuff, mostly because Cobb threw another man to take out ELP. I’m sure they’ll have a rematch, maybe part of prime NJPW programming, and maybe ELP gets a win. The Sumie Sakai Mixed Six was such a fun match, a very unique way of doing a retirement match but also a unique Mixed Six. The House of Torture got some comeuppance while Sumie got to look superhuman, and Sumie taking all those big moves before losing is a great way in-ring to show her respect. Then we got a great retirement ceremony, this all honestly could’ve closed the show, but this is still a NJPW event so NJPW things need to main event.
Konosuke VS Kushida was great, great win for Konosuke and certainly a great first match for Kushida in an openweight division. Konosuke calling out Tanahashi for Windy City Riot is wild, and that is going to be a stellar match. ZSJ VS Hechicero was world title worthy, maybe even main event worthy, but it makes sense this was second-to-last since it wasn’t for the title. Great win for ZSJ, making him 2-1 with Hechi, and it’d be great if they could arrange the next match for Forbidden Door: London. And then a great main event from Desperado and Taiji. Great storytelling of how both men know each other given their rivalry, but then great win from Desperado. Despy making his closing promo a shoutout back to Suzuki-Gun was great, and I’m sure a prime NJPW event will be where Despy finds a new challenger.
My Score: 9/10

Filling in for Joe Tessitore is Vic Joseph!
“Tess” is on “special assignment,” but Wade Barrett doesn’t mind having his old NXT compatriot here for SmackDown.
Cody Rhodes is here!
The American Nightmare is in America’s capital city, and Washington, DC is fired up to see him! They sing along with the song, “WHOA~ OH~!” We get the pyro and the Undisputed WWE Champion hugs and high-fives fans as he goes down the ramp. Cody goes to the ring, we get the second “WHOA~ OH~!” and pyro, and the fans fire up even more! The fans cheer Cody on as he grabs a mic, and then he holds up the title to fire the fans up more. Cody lets things settle down, then he asks Washington, DC, “What do we wanna talk about?” How about the Road to WrestleMania is going through Elimination Chamber.
Last Monday, the giant news that Cody’s friend, Jey Uso, “YEET!” has selected Gunther to wrestle for the World Heavyweight Championship. Now, all eyes are fixed on the Elimination Chamber, and who will wrestle Cody in the main event for THE Undisputed WWE Championship. Cody ponders who it will be. Fans chant “C M PUNK!” but Cody says maybe it’ll be the natural athlete, Logan Paul. Fans boo that name hard. Cody asks what about his friend, the Voice of the Voiceless, CM Punk? The fans cheer that name! There is also Drew McIntyre, who gets a mixed reaction, and the Greatest Of All Time, John Cena.
Fans definitely cheer Cena, and Cody says it definitely won’t be Solo Sikoa. Solo has not qualified for the Chamber, who is not in any qualifier to come, and knows that when it comes to this ring, 1v1, how it is with him and Cody. And Cody thinks that Samoan Spike last week wasn’t really for Cody. But hold on, here comes Drew McIntyre! The fans are still torn seeing the Scottish Terminator in person as he smirks and gets his own pyro. McIntyre goes to the ring, keeps his eyes on Cody, then grabs a mic for himself. Cody keeps his eyes on McIntyre while fans either boo or say “DREW~!” McIntyre then tells Cody, “‘Also, Drew McIntyre.’ That’s all I get?”
Cody says okay, that is fair. This is WrestleMania season, everyone has a lot on their mind. Does McIntyre want that one more time? How about we do this one more time? Cody says this is for Drew. “And also, DREW! MCINTYRE~!” The fans are still very torn, but McIntyre says he’s also someone who won the Chamber, once as a champion. A multiple time world champion, Royal Rumble winner, Mr. Money in the Bank. Accolades aside, is this the same Drew McIntyre who just last month stood in this ring and hugged Cody, because he was worried Cody was going to a dark place, and then Cody tried to fight him?
Is this also the McIntyre that when he was handling business with Sami Zayn, Cody attacked? Is that the McIntyre Cody thinks of? McIntyre says he didn’t want things to go this way, but Cody made it personal, so McIntyre will have to remind Cody just who Drew McIntyre is. Oh, is that so? Cody can count on one hand the men who have defeated him since his WWE return, and McIntyre is one of them. Cody did not forget. Wait, here come Jacob Fatu & Tama Tonga! The Samoan Werewolf has the mic as he leads the way down to the ring. They join Cody and McIntyre in the ring, and DC chants for “FATU! FATU!”
Jacob says, “Ey yo, Drew! You already got your spot in the Chamber. Now see me? I’m all gas, no brakes tonight. So when it comes to Priest and Braun, I’m ’bout to DOG WALK they ass! And when I get done running through those two, then I’ll earn my way into the Chamber. And after that, I’m gonna WrestleMania with it!” The fans like the sound of that. Jacob says then when he’s done with WrestleMania, he’s bringing that title back home to his family, where it should’ve never left…! McIntyre smirks and says, “Y’know what I think? I think this is something that people wanna see. I think people wanna see a psychopath and a werewolf throw down int he Nation’s Capital right now!”
The fans cheer, but McIntyre says it won’t happen here, he has his spot. Cody, Jacob wants to talk to you. McIntyre takes his leave, smirking as he goes. Cody and Jacob stare down now, even as Jacob circles around Cody. Cody tells Jacob to just say when. But here’s when: After Jacob qualifies for The Chamber, and after he defeats everyone in there, then Cody and Jacob can fight over this title! The fans rally and duel, but then we see something on the tron! A vehicle pulls into the building, and it’s SOLO SIKOA! The former chief is all in white, but Jacob tells now, now, Cody. If anyone talks to Solo, it’s Jacob first! That’s family business.
Cody says Jacob can get the first word, but he’ll get the last. Jacob & Tama head out, will they do anything but acknowledge Solo?
SmackDown returns and…
The Good Bad Guy & Samoan Werewolf are searching backstage. Tama asks a stagehand if he’s seen Solo, and he directs Tama further down the hall. But then Jacob CLOBBERS the guy anyway! Will Solo only get worse when his former henchmen find him?
Women’s Elimination Chamber Qualifier: Naomi w/ Bianca Belair VS Chelsea Green w/ Piper Niven!
It was just last week that The EST beat the “Secret Her-vice” to qualify for the Women’s Elimination Chamber match, and now The Glow looks to do the same to The Hot Mess! Will both Women’s Tag Team Champions be in the big match? Or will the Women’s United States Champion chase even more gold?
Wade Barrett interviews Trish Stratus at ringside, and welcomes the living legend back. Trish returning to the Rumble blew the roof off the place, so #ThankYouTrish! But now to look forward. In Trish’s hometown of Toronto, it will be the Elimination Chamber event. Is she going to make an appearance there, too? Trish says it was great to bring some Stratusfaction to the Royal Rumble. And entering at Number 25 was a great way to kick off her 25th anniversary as a WWE superstar. And to answer the question, the Chamber is one of the most exciting events, it is where the Road to WrestleMania is finalized, and yes, it is in her hometown this year.
So Trish will be there. The thing is, will she be watching from a seat? Or a suite? Trish keeps us guessing, but here comes Chelsea. The bell rings and Naomi slips around Chelsea to O’Conner Roll! TOW, and Naomi rolls Chelsea up, TWO! Chelsea swings, but into a crucifix takedown! TWO, and Chelsea throws a fit! Chelsea SLAPS Naomi, rolls her up, TWO! Naomi runs, slides, but Chelsea dodges the dropkick! Chelsea BOOTS Naomi down, Piper keeps Bianca back, and Chelsea declares she’ll be going to Toronto while SmackDown goes picture in picture.
Chelsea soaks up heat from DC, then she drags Naomi up to put her in the ring. Chelsea storms up to rain down forearms, then soaks up more heat. Naomi goes to the corner, Chelsea runs up, but Naomi kicks her! Naomi reels Chelsea in, sunset flips, TWO! Chelsea hurries up, runs back in, and she blocks boots! Chelsea keeps cool as she stalks Naomi to ropes. Chelsea CHOKES Naomi more, then lets off as the ref counts. Chelsea has Piper help with her eyelashes, then she digs her boots into Naomi! The ref counts, Chelsea lets off, then she RAMS into Naomi! And again! And again! Chelsea puts Naomi up top, CHOPS her, then tells fans to take pictures of this. Chelsea climbs up, then blows kisses. SmackDown returns to single picture as Naomi fires body shots!
Chelsea falls, the fans cheer, and Naomi adjusts to CROSSBODY! Both women are down and the fans fire up! Bianca rallies for Naomi, Piper fans Chelsea again. The fans rally for Naomi as both women stand. Naomi rallies with LARIAT after LARIAT! Then a wrench, and HOOK KICK! Chelsea wobbles, Naomi runs, SLINGSHOT BULLDOG! The fans fire up with Naomi while Chelsea flounders. SCISSOR KICK! Cover, TWO!! Chelsea survives but Bianca coaches Naomi. And with that, the StrongEST Glow is in the Chamber together! One spot is left, who will join the star studded field of Naomi, Bianca, Liv Morgan, Alexa Bliss & Bayley?
Sami Zayn speaks.
“So, I have not been doing great. I know people have been waiting for an update, and I apologize for not getting one out sooner. But I’m sure most of you have heard by now that my neck is not doing too well. There’s been some nerve damage, and I’m seeing specialists and this and that. Um… But I think the last couple of weeks have been particularly tough, just trying to come to terms with everything that’s happened here with Kevin and myself. Cuz yeah, y’know, it’s almost become a joke, how many times Kevin has turned on me, or maybe I’ve turned on him, or whatever. It almost seems like an inevitability of our relationship.
“But this one was different. I know that, and Kevin, I know you know that. We both know exactly what you were trying to do with the Package Piledriver. That wasn’t about trying to get ahead or sending a message, that was trying to end my career. And for what? That’s what I keep struggling with. Over what? Over a wrestling match? Over me not helping you win a wrestling match? You didn’t see me sprinting out there, with tears in my eyes, checking on you as you lay there motionless? Bleeding? Me screaming at the doctors, ‘Is he okay? Is he gonna be okay? Get him some help!’ Because to me, that’s being there for someone. That’s what I thought being there for someone is.
“For you, it’s, you know, I should’ve pushed Cody Rhodes off the ladder, helped you cheat to win a match. So, I guess we just look at things differently there. But look, the long and short of it is, I dunno when I’ll be cleared. But when I am, Kevin… Me and you are gonna go again. And I’m telling you now, it’s not gonna be fun. I’ll see you soon.” Sami has given The Prizefighter his response, when and where will we see these two tear it up again?
Motor City Machine Guns VS Los Garza!
Alex Shelley & Chris Sabin were screwed out of the WWE Tag Team Championships by The Street Profits, but that grudge will have to wait, as Angel y Berto want to settle things with them first. Will Los Garza make Legado proud? Or will MCMG reload and be ready for The Profits?
SmackDown returns and Legado makes their entrance. Santos Escobar sees his hermanos to the ring and says they’ve got this. Angel and Sabin start, the bell rings, and Angel kicks low! Angel CLUBS Sabin, whips him, but Sabin ducks ‘n’ dodges! Shelley sneaks a tag, Sabin victory rolls and then holds Angel up, Shelley PENALTY KICKS Angel while he’s upside-down! Then MCMG both BLAST Berto off the apron! Shelley stands Angel up to wrench and ELBOW BREAKER! Angel blocks a kick to KNEE Shelley back, then tag to Berto! Berto runs in, but Shelley TOSSES him out! Angel runs back in, but into the MCMG DREAM SEQUENCE!
The fans fire up for the “Detroit Facial,” then Shelley holds the way open. Sabin builds speed, but Angel slips in, SUPERKICK for Sabin! Berto KICKS Shelley’s legs, Angel shoves Sabin through the gap, and then Angel SUPERKICKS Shelley! MCMG is stuck in the ropes, Los Garza DOUBLE ROUNDHOUSE! Angel says if DC wants it, DC’s got it! OFF COME THE PANTS! Los Garza stands tall while SmackDown goes to break.
SmackDown returns, Angel glares at Sabin, but turns around into a SUPERKICK from Shelley! Both men are down, the fans rally up, and now both Angel and Shelley crawl. Hot tags to Berto and Sabin! The fans fire up as Sabin rallies on Los Garza! LARIAT! BOOT! Backslide for Berto, but Berto rolls through! Sabin steps over, LA MAGISTROL! TWO, and Berto blocks a kick! Sabin ENZIGIRIS! Berto goes to a corner, Sabin runs up to ELBOW him! Tag to Shelley, feed to the clinch! Shelley adds knees while Sabin climbs, and then MISSILE DROPKICK FLATLINER! Cover, Angel breaks it! The fans are torn as this one continues!
Shelley tags Sabin back in, then runs at Angel, but Angel catches the crossbody! Berto LARIATS Sabin, Angel hits a BACKBREAKER on Shelley! Winners: Motor City Machine Guns, by pinfall
Los Garza brought that fire, but they couldn’t burn down Motor City! Will Sabin & Shelley make sure Montez Ford & Angelo Dawkins feel some of that heat?
Damian Priest speaks.
“I don’t need to tell you who I am. That’s what the last four years of living on Raw were for. I made it to the top. I ain’t taking a back seat to nobody on SmackDown. You could be a friend, an enemy, but that bell rings, I don’t know yo’ ass. I don’t need a leader, I don’t need a crew. This is me and only me, cuz that’s all I’ve ever needed. Y’all better be ready for punishment, because anarchy has arrived.” Will the Archer of Infamy be able to shoot down two monsters at once? Or will one of them survive and enter the Elimination Chamber?
Jacob & Tama are still searching.
And now Jacob is just shouting for Solo to show himself, we all know he’s here! Jacob is throwing stuff around, but then there he is. Jacob asks Solo what the hell is going on, and what the hell this is! He’s been trying to talk to Solo for a minute. Solo says listen, he needed time off. Ever since losing the ula fala to Roman, he has not been himself. Solo let them down, and he let the family down. Do they have any idea how that feels? But he is okay now. He is ready to go, ready to take over this business, just like they did before. The only way they do that is together as one. But it starts with Jacob winning his qualifier, winning the Chamber, and then bringing that title back to the family.
Does Jacob have Solo’s back? Jacob turns to go but Solo grabs his arm. Solo tells Jacob, “I love you, Jacob.” Jacob doesn’t say anything back, and even Tama is surprised. Tama leaves without a word, going with Jacob. Is this all a little too late from the would-be Tribal Chief?
Shinsuke Nakamura is here!
The King of Strong Style has been a sinister samurai, lurking in the shadows, waiting to strike. He puts his helmet aside to grab a mic, and he says in Japanese, then translates to English, “Four weeks, I have waited. Four weeks, I have watched from the shadow, praying for a worthy challenge. A warrior to test me!” However… No warriors are here on SmackDown! No one is worthy! No one rises above this sickness. Just the same weaklings consumed with the approval of the mindless- WAIT! LA Knight is here! The Mega Star has a mic of his own, and he tells DC, “LEMME TALK TO YA!” “YEAH!”
“Look at ol’ Shin here, playing Two Lies and a Truth!” Nakamura says he’s been hiding in the shadows. “YEAH!” That’s the truth, Nakamura’s been hiding. But then he was praying for a contender? And that he was looking for a test? WRONG! Biggest bunch of BS that Knight’s ever heard! Last time they were in this ring, Knight planted Nakamura in the mat and the three count was there. But then all it took was half the Isles of Samoa and Tonga to take that way from Knight. And since then, Knight’s beat every cross-eyed halfwit that’s stepped to him on a quest to come back for that championship.
But you wanna talk about tests for the title? The test right now is looking at you, standing here, and Nakamura, you’ve already failed that test, with everybody saying- “AWESOME~!” The Miz is here!? From Mega Star to Hollywood A-Lister, Miz says the fans still go for that shtick, huh? He has to admit, he was wrong, and he’s not wrong very often. Miz said Knight was a flash in the pan, but here we are, the fans are eating out of the palm of Knight’s hand. It just kinda proves one thing: the fans aren’t educated. DC boos Miz but Miz says yeah, yeah, they’re not smart. They’re basic, basic, basic.
Miz sees what Shinsuke sees, and that is that Knight and nobody else is worthy. Y’know who is? Oh, hold on, Miz, Knight has this one. Miz is gonna say himself, right? Or that he is a Grand Slam Champion, former US Champion, that he beat Cena in the main event of WrestleMania, hehe~! But talk about the same old shtick! Miz has been using that for 10 years now, and it has been about that long since Miz was relevant. But Knight also has to say, he is happy to see Miz here. Knight forgot Miz was even on SmackDown! Knight was sure the fans wanted to forget. So here, take a page out of Cena’s book, and start a farewell tour, because we’re all ready to see Miz go away.
The fans chant “YEAH! YEAH! YEAH!” and “GO AWAY!” Miz fakes being sad as he says, “You all want me to go away?” Miz fake sobs and says he can’t believe he’s crying on national television! But on Knight’s PSA, he said it was okay for men to cry~! Knight smirks as Miz play sit up, and that’s not bad. Miz is right, Knight said it was okay. When it rises to that occasion. But it is just like Miz to miss the point. The point was, there is a line where you go too far. And if we’re talking about crybabies, at the very TOP of that list of all time crybaby B*TCHES, it is Miz and McIntyre neck and neck! The fans cheer that!
Miz says at least he’s been at the top. He’s been at the top over and over, and why does he tout that resume? Because guys like Knight don’t measure up! When the dust settles on The Miz’s career, his resume stands alone. Can Knight say the same? Or will he crumble when fans stop chanting his name and we see there’s nothing below the surface? Knight is NOT on Miz’s radar! And if Cena can call his shot, then Miz can call his! He wants his shot at the US Championship! The fans boo that, but Miz says he came to Smackdown with new purpose: elevate a title and forge his way to WrestleMania! And Knight will be the guy on the outside looking in, just like he has his entire career.
Knight laughs that off and asks if Miz said “Not on my radar.” Miz mentioned something Knight said just last week, so Miz must be watching everything Knight does. Thanks for that, appreciated. But when Miz talks about the idea of, why does Knight deserve the shot? Well, the man who was the champ before Knight, you look at the man who’s champ now, put their total title defenses together, and you get a HUNDRETH of what Knight was doing! He was defending that baby every single week! The fans cheer, and Knight says what that means, as much as he wants the title, that title NEEDS him! Knight makes that thing shine!
But Miz? Man, you ever met yourself, Miz? You SUCK! Miz is the most impotent dork! Is this man championship material? NAH-NAH! Miz takes a swing, but Knight catches him! Miz slips free of the BFT then he goes to the ramp! Miz throws off his jacket, gets back in the ring, but then stays back. Nick Aldis hurries out here and tells everyone to hold on. These guys make friends everywhere they go, don’t they? But it seems obvious to Aldis that Knight and Miz want a fight, and that Nakamura is looking for a challenger. So DC, you picking up what Aldis is putting down? “YEAH!” They thinking what he’s thinking? “YEAH!”
Then how about tonight, Miz VS Knight, and really, it’s right now. Now that is must-see! But who will be saying “YEAH!” to a US Championship opportunity in the near future?
LA Knight VS The Miz!
SmackDown returns and the match is underway. Knight whips, Miz reverses, but Knight dodges and Miz hits buckles! Knight stomps a mudhole, “YEAH! YEAH! YEAH!” Knight stops as the ref counts, then he runs corner to corner to KNEE Miz down! Nakamura is still watching from ringside as Knight covers, ONE! Knight drags Miz up to whip, but Miz KICKS! Miz CHOPS, whips, but Knight goes up and over! Knight then scoops for a POWERSLAM! Cover, TWO! The fans rally behind Knight while he watches Miz rise up. Kick and B F- NO, Miz powers out again! Miz then FLAPJACKS Knight onto ropes!
Knight flops back, and Nakamura is not impressed as Miz CHOKES Knight on ropes. The ref counts, Miz stops, but then Miz CHOKES Knight again! Miz even fishhooks Knight’s face! Miz stops to run and STRADDLE ATTACK! Knight flops back again, but Miz stomps Knight. Miz runs to basement BOOT! Cover, TWO! Miz clamps onto Knight with more fishhooks, then he throws down elbows! Miz clamps on a chinlock now, but the fans rally as Knight endures. Knight fights up, throws body shots, then swings, but into the dragon sleeper! A-LISTER COMBINATION! Cover, TWO! Knight survives the backbreaker to neckbreaker and the fans rally.
Knight goes to a corner, Miz is annoyed, but Miz storms up to bring Knight around. Knight counter punches again and again! But Miz throat chops! Miz runs but Knight DUMPS him out! Knight runs to WRECK Miz with a dropkick! Nakamura steps aside for Miz to hit the desk! Knight then DRIBBLES Miz off the desk! Knight makes sure to glance over at Nakamura with each one! Then Knight winds up, and he SMACKS Miz off the desk one more time! Knight tells Nakamura to try something. Miz YANKS Knight into the desk! And then THROWS him into steel steps! Miz snarls while SmackDown goes picture in picture.
Miz refreshes the ring count to then drag Knight up. Miz scoops Knight to hit SNAKE EYES off the barriers! Miz soaks up heat from DC, points to the WrestleMania sign then points at Nakamura. Miz stalks Knight into the ring, swaggers over, then kicks him down low! Knight goes to a corner, Miz stomps him, then argues with the ref about the ropebreak count. Miz brings Knight up, reels him in, and he mocks the fans, before he spells out “M! I! Z! YEAH!” Suplex, but Knight lands out to NECKBREAKAR! Cover, TWO! Knight whips, Miz reverses, kitchen sink knee! Miz basement BOOTS! Cover, TWO!
Knight survives and Miz grows frustrated. Miz stalks Knight, HIP DROPS him, then reels him into a CAMEL CLUTCH! Knight endures, Nakamura still isn’t impressed, but Knight fights up. Knight has Miz as a backpack, and he RAMS Miz into a corner! Knight then whips corner to corner, but Miz reverses! Miz runs up to kick low again! Miz whips, Knight reverses, but Miz puts Knight on the apron! Miz then slides under to YANK Knight down! Miz steals some popcorn from a fan! After having a snack, Miz puts Knight back in the ring. Miz soaks up heat, SmackDown returns to single picture, and Miz hauls Knight up.
Miz hits a back suplex, Knight lands out! Knight back suplexes but Miz fights free! Miz swings, Knight dodges, and Knight LARIATS! Knight then pushes Miz to a corner, Miz hits buckles, JUMPING NECKBREAKER! Knight whips, scoops, and POWERSLAMS! Then the ELBOW DROP! Cover, TWO! Miz survives and maybe now Nakamura seems to care? Knight scoops Miz, Miz slips free, and Miz puts Knight in a corner. Knight BOOTS Miz, goes up, but Miz YANKS Knight down! Knight hits buckles, Miz hits the A-LIST LARIAT! Then FLATLINER! Cover, TWO! Knight survives, the fans rally, but Miz waits on Knight.
Knight sits up, ducks the buzzsaw, and he fireman’s carries! Miz fights free, full nelsons, but Knight slips down! Victory roll, TWO! Miz has it, TWO! Miz is sent into buckles! Knight rolls Miz, Miz rolls through, BASEMENT DDT! Cover, TWO! Knight survives again and Miz is frustrated. The fans rally harder for Knight, but Miz stands up and calls for the end! But Knight fights the Finale to RAM Miz into a corner! Knight fires elbows again and again, then gets space. But Miz BOOTS him! Miz runs up, into a scoop, but Miz slips free, into a B F T!! Knight goes to the corner, and he caps it off with the “L! A! KNIGHT! YEAH!!” DOUBLE JUMP ELBOW DROP!! Cover, Knight wins!
Winner: LA Knight, by pinfall
Knight tells the samurai that they’re going to have their fight next, but then Nakamura steps into the ring! Nakamura dares Knight to come for the title now! Knight tells Nakamura to bring the fight, and the two go face to face. They talk some trash, but then Nakamura backs down. Will nothing keep Knight from getting his revenge on Nakamura? Or will nothing stop the King of Strong Style’s reign?
Nia Jax and Candice LeRae talk backstage.
But then in steps Alexa Bliss. She just wants to say hi, and to wish Nia luck against Tiffany tonight. Surely she’ll do better than Candice. Nia has Candice stand down, and says Nia will be fine. She’s familiar with former friends betraying her. Oh, funny Nia says that. Because Lily and Alexa were just talking about how if Nia wins the title back tonight, and then Alexa wins Elimination Chamber, there’s a chance they’ll be facing each other again. Wyatt Sick6 imagery flashes on screen… and Alexa says how fun would it be for them to have another WrestleMania match? Okay, good luck!
Alexa leaves, Nia & Candice say that was rude. But will something a bit more…twisted… happen on this Road to WrestleMania?
Miz returns backstage.
Andrade finds him and tells Miz he watched that match. If Miz wants, Andrade can teach Miz something. Just let him know. El Idolo heads out and Miz doesn’t appreciate his words being thrown back at him. But then Carmelo Hayes walks in, and he says it’s too bad. Guys like Andrade don’t respect talent like him and Miz. Yeah, Melo is right! Melo & Miz should show them! They can team up! Team Melo Don’t Miz! Uh… No. Melo moves on, Miz feels even more foolish. But will the A-Lister figure out his own road to WrestleMania?
Carmelo Hayes VS R-Truth!
While Melo Don’t Miss, Truth tends to miss the point in more ways than one. But will Truth show H1M what’s up? Or will Melo look like a Wizard here in DC?
The bell rings and Melo fires fists on Truth right away! The fans boo but Melo ROCKS Truth, whips him, but Truth turns hip toss into HIP TOSS! What’s Up!? Truth fires hands, then whips, but Melo ducks ‘n’ dodges to springboards, FADEAWAY LARIAT! The fans boo but Melo shoots his free throw. He points at the Mania sign, then runs, but Truth blows past him to fire those Cena SHOULDER TACKLES! Then the SPINOUT BOMB! The fans fire up for the “YOU CAN’T SEE ME~!” FIVE- SUPERKICK!! Melo hits hard, then he reels Truth in. But Truth suplexes for a STREET STUNNER! Melo rebounds, FIRST 48! Cover, TWO!
The fans rally for Truth while Melo angrily says, “What’s up!?” Melo goes to the corner, climbs up top, and he takes aim for the three pointer. But Truth dodges! Melo shoves Truth, Truth ducks but Melo reels him in, BLINDSIDE LARIAT! Melo goes up the corner again, takes aim again, and Truth finally stands, for NOTHING BUT NET!! Cover, Melo wins!
Winner: Carmelo Hayes, by pinfall
Melo tried to tell Truth that he is H1M, and maybe it’ll sink in after this. Will Melo keep hitting game winners like that until he’s a champion?
The Street Profits speak.
Angelo Dawkins says, “Well, well, well well well. It seems like we ruffled a few feathers. I dunno what y’all mad for, we was just telling y’all the truth. If anybody should be mad, it should be us. We promised each other we’d never let grudges consume us. But we blame y’all for making us a liar. SO… When I’m fully cleared, Pretty Deadly, Los Garza, Motor City, DIY, y’all get in our way, we put you in the dirt!” Montez Ford fires up, and he says, “Yes! I love that! The passion! But you know what? They gon’ know. They gon’ know, they gon’ know, they gon’ know this frustration that’s been burning deep within us for years.
“Just showing up like everything’s fine, like everything’s happy, when it’s NOT OKAY! Nothing is okay! It’s finally gonna be shown to the world. My Lord, have mercy on all their souls. Because nothing changed, because we want the smoke.” When and where will The Profits get that smoke by burning down the reset of SmackDown’s Tag Division?
Backstage interview with Pretty Deadly.
Byron Saxton is with Kit Wilson & Elton Prince, and brings up The Profits’ hitlist of tag teams. This is one of those teams, and last week, they secured a victory to earn a tag team championship match with DIY. How do they feel going into next week’s match? Elton says they feel exquisite! Like two tasty snacks! Kit says with that said, MCMG, Profits, DIY, know that Pretty Deadly is done being underestimated. But then DIY walks in and Gargano says “No, boy, no.” Ciampa tells Byron to exit, and DIY talks with Pretty Deadly. Gargano wants them to understand, they are disappointed. Didn’t they have something special here? And Pretty Deadly threw it all away.
Elton says they didn’t throw anything away, they just stood up for themselves. And for what? A cheap victory? Pretty Deadly caught DIY with their pants down! Uh, they were wearing pants. Exactly! That’s Gargano’s point! You’ve seen Gargano’s ring gear, he doesn’t wear pants. They weren’t ready. Ciampa says DIY was good to Pretty Deadly. But now, next week is on them. So their dreams of becoming the next WWE Tag Team Champions are dead. And after next week, DIY will give Pretty Deadly a proper moment of silence. DIY heads out, Pretty Deadly isn’t intimidated. Will Kit & Elton finally bring back the #SideplateCheck?
Kevin Owens speaks.
“So you’re not doing good, huh? I’m not doing good. Because in the last six months, I was stabbed in the back and had my heart broken by three guys I loved, three guys I considered brothers. Three guys I would’ve taken a bullet for! And Sami, now you… You sit there and talk about the pain you’re in, how your neck is hurt. You have no idea. You don’t know what real pain is. But, um… I’ll show you. Yeah, I’ll show you. You say you wanna go again, me and you?” Kevin has a frustrated laugh and says that’s great, perfect. They’ll do that. And he can’t think of a better place than where it all started for them: Canada.
Cleared or not, Kevin doesn’t care. Toronto, Elimination Chamber, come find him. Then Sami will know pain. The challenge has been made, will nothing stop these best frenemies from tearing each other apart once and for all?
WWE Women’s Championship: Tiffany Stratton VS Nia Jax w/ Candice LeRae!
Miss Money in the Bank cashed in and put WWE on #TiffyTime, but the Queen of the Ring wants to turn the clock back to when it was her time. Will the Irresistible Force be unstoppable on this Road to WrestleMania? Or will Tiffany survive a Valentine’s Day massacre?

She ignores Nia as she goes to the ring. Someone holds the ropes open for Charlotte and she steps inside. Charlotte walks past Tiff to grab a mic, and then she stands over Tiff while fans either “WOO~” or boo. Charlotte sees the chair, she picks it up, and she uses it to take a seat. Charlotte tells Tiffy, “Wake up~! Tiffy~! Blink if you can hear me, Tiffy. Wake up, Tiffy~. It’s still Tiffy Time~. Sit up if you can, Tiffy.” Tiff still seems rather dazed, but Charlotte tells her, “The Queen chooses you. I’ll see you at WrestleMania.”
Mic drop and card set, it is Queen of Flair VS Princess Tiffy! But who will reign supreme when these two meet in Sin City?
Nick Aldis is on the phone.
And he is not happy. But he tells whoever this is that he has to handle other business, they’ll talk again later. Aldis hangs up, and he welcomes in Bianca & Naomi. He thanks them for taking this time. To get to it, there has been a development in the Jade Cargill situation. Finally! What is it? Aldis says an anonymous tip came in, which includes a video, seemingly recorded on cellphone. Not sure who sent it or how they got this footage, but he’ll share it with us now. It plays on the screen, and it is as Jade is being loaded onto the ambulance. While Bianca & Naomi were rushing out there to check on Jade, we pan over and… LIV & RAQUEL!?
It was Judgment Day all along! Naomi says she knew it! She told us all, and yet people wanted to say it was her! Bianca calms Naomi down and says she also knew it was never Naomi. Thank you, Aldis, for showing what we already knew. Aldis says hold on, we don’t really know if it was Judgment Day. They need to talk with Adam Pearce, no jumping to conclusions. Who even needs to make that call? Bianca & Naomi will go to Raw, see Liv & Raquel, and handle this themselves! Now, everyone else owes them an apology. The WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions head out, will their title match be two birds with one stone?
Tiff returns backstage.
Byron is there, and he apologizes for bothering her after everything she just went through out there. But on top of what Nia did, Charlotte now chose Tiff for WrestleMania. What is her reaction? Tiff says trust her, Charlotte will know it’s #TiffyTime. But it’s a little hard to focus on WrestleMania after what Candice & Nia did. But then in steps Trish Stratus! Trish knows Tiff has a big problem with Nia & Candice after her. So Trish was just thinking, maybe Trish & Tiff VS Nia & Candice in Toronto for Elimination Chamber? Tiff asks if that means it’ll be Tiffy & Trishy Time in Toronto. Yeah, that’s what Trish is saying.
Tiff is all for this! Will TS Squared make sure Nia & Candice learn a thing or two about respect? Or will Nia & Candice add defeating a living legend to their accolades?
Jimmy Uso is watching backstage.
He’s fired up for Jey Uso calling out Gunther for WrestleMania, but then the mood is ruined when McIntyre steps in. McIntyre says pretty cool, huh? Charlotte VS Tiff for WrestleMania, Jey VS Gunther for WrestleMania, and imagine if Jimmy had won last week. How big would that be, huh? Both brothers fighting for the top titles on the Grandest Stage of Them All! Not that it’ll happen now because McIntyre won his spot in the Chamber, will win that, then beat Cody for the title. YEET-Mania running wild while NO YEET Mania will have his feet up on the couch at home.
But hey, here’s some advice. McIntyre used to be just like Jimmy, all angry and what not. Jimmy is angry now, right? McIntyre can see it in his eyes. So here’s the advice: Sure, Jimmy’s career has gone really, really, really, really, really, really down the toilet, but hey, he married up! Jimmy walks away, McIntyre asks “Jey” if it was something he said. Oh, sorry~! He meant- SUPERKICK!! Jimmy gets McIntyre right in the face! No YEET! Jimmy leaves McIntyre behind, but will McIntyre make sure he regrets that?
Braun Strowman walks ‘n’ talks.
“Look, I know I’ve got my hands full out there tonight. I’m in the ring with a wild animal and a former world champion, but I think people forget that I’m a former world champion myself! And it’s been five damn years since I’ve held gold! So tonight, I run through Fatu, I run through Priest, and then I run through Elimination Chamber! Cody Rhodes, I hope you’re watching, cuz I’m coming for you!” The Monster of All Monsters is ready, but will Priest and Fatu #GetTheseHands? Or will they be able to bring down #OneBigSOB?

Priest fires an UPPERCUT on Braun, pushes Jacob into the ring, then Priest goes after Jacob with a SUPERKICK! Jacob wobbles, Priest reels him in, BROKEN ARROW! Cover, Braun breaks it! Braun looms over Priest, stands him up, and then HEADBUTTS him down! Braun aims from a corner, then runs corner to corner, SPLASH on Jacob! Jacob flops down, Braun sees Priest literally on the ropes, and he storms over that way.
Braun whips Priest corner to corner hard, and Priest falls over. Jacob is back in, but Braun whips him to the corner. Jacob reverses and Braun hits buckles hard! Braun now falls over, then falls out of the ring. Priest stands, Jacob BOOTS him down! Jacob goes to the apron, and he AX HANDLES Priest into the desk! Jacob stands Priest up, but Priest blocks the desk smash! Priest then SMACKS Jacob off the desk! And does it again! Priest drags Jacob into the ring, storms over to Braun, and Priest whips Braun into a POST! Braun falls over in a heap, Priest storms up the steel steps, and Priest stalks Jacob to a corner.
Priest stomps Jacob, stands him up, then whips him back into the corner! Priest goes corner to corner and back again, but Jacob dodges! Priest hits buckles, slumps down, and Jacob snarls. SmackDown returns to single picture as Jacob revels in the cheers and jeers. Jacob starts a “FA! TU~!” chant a la “UCE! OH!” but Braun drags him out! Braun RAMS Jacob into barriers! Braun fires hands, then he runs, only to be sent into steel steps! Braun’s knees hit the steel, then he falls over! Jacob brings the steps up to BATTERING RAM Braun down! The fans fire up and Jacob goes back to Priest in the ring.
Priest fires up as he stands tall! Jacob throws hands but Priest fires back! Priest KICKS, KICKS, and ROLLING ELBOWS! Then he winds up to ROCK Jacob! Jacob staggers, but Priest ROCKS him again! Jacob roars, runs up, but Priest dodges, to then WHEEL KICK! Jacob flounders to a corner, Priest runs up, STAGE DIVE ELBOW! Braun is on the apron, Priest SUPERKICKS him down! Priest runs up, Jacob puts him on the apron! Priest ROUNDHOUSES in return! Priest then knuckle locks with Jacob to go up, up, and OLD SCH- NO, Braun grabs Priest by the neck! Jacob HEADBUTTS Braun, and then he YANKS Priest into a SAMOAN DROP!!
Jacob DIVES onto Braun?!? Braun falls onto the desk, Jacob goes up, SWANTON BOMB on Priest! Cover, TWO!! Priest survives and the fans fire up! “This is Awesome!” as all three titans are down around ringside! Jacob rises, he brings Priest up for another fireman’s carry. But Priest fights free to BELL CLAP! Jacob SUPERKICKS in return! Jacob puts Priest up top, CHOPS him, then CHOPS again! Priest wobbles, Jacob climbs, but Priest CLUBS away on Jacob! Jacob HEADBUTTS in return! Jacob goes to the very top, brings Priest up to join him, but Braun joins in!? TITANIC TOWER OF DOOM!! The fans lose their minds while all three men are down!
Priest writhes and crawls to the far side, but Jacob isn’t far behind. Priest flops out of the ring, Jacob sits in the corner, but Braun rises! Flashback to Saturday Night’s Main Event in January, Jacob runs up but Braun CLOBBERS him! And LARIATS! And then a whip and BACKDROP! Braun keeps moving, he has Jacob on the apron, but Jacob UPPERCUTS! But Priest is back to clinch Jacob! FLATLINER onto the desk! That desk really is reinforced, but then the STROWMAN EXPRESS BLASTS Priest up and over the desk!! Braun drags Jacob up, choke grips, and he CHOKE SLAMS Jacob on the desk!! Again, definitely reinforced!
Braun isn’t done with Jacob, though! He tosses Jacob into the ring, but Jacob SUPERKICKS! And SUPERKICKS! Then speaking of SNME, HIP ATTACK!! And then HIP ATTACK!! Braun sputters, the fans want more, so Jacob goes back to the far corner. Jacob runs in, HIP ATTACK!! But Jacob isn’t going to leave it at that! Jacob goes out to grab a chair, brings it to the ring, and he slips the chair around Braun’s neck! The ref reprimands but there are no disqualifications to stop Jacob! “FA! TU~!” But Braun BOOTS Jacob first!! Braun uses the chair to SMACK Jacob on the back! And SMACK him again! Jacob goes to another corner, Braun JAMS him again and again and again!
Braun returns the favor now, and he puts the chair around Jacob’s neck. Braun says eye for an eye, and in this case, head for a head! Braun roars, but SAMOAN SPIKE from outta nowhere!!! Solo just helped Jacob here! BEST MOONSAULT EVER!!! BUT WAIT! Here comes Cody Rhodes! The American Nightmare will not stand by, he brawls with Solo! And POSTS him! Cody fires more hands, but then TAMA TONGA attacks! Cody lost count of these rogues, and Tama holds Cody up for Solo! Solo takes aim, but Cody slips free, SAMOAN SPIKE hits Tama!!! Jacob sees that, and he’s pissed at Solo! But Priest CLOBBERS Jacob into Solo!
Priest TOSSES Jacob over barriers, Cody grabs Solo! CROSS RHODES to the floor!! Priest hurries after Braun, but Braun scoops?! Priest slips free, then dodges Braun to POST him! Choke grip, and Braun goes SOUTH OF HEAVEN!!! Cover, PRIEST WINS!!
Winner: Damian Priest, by pinfall (advances to the Elimination Chamber)
Cody made sure justice would prevail, and it is the Archer of Infamy that stands tall! Priest and Cody stand together, but they both look to WrestleMania. They shake hands, but there’s also still one spot for the Men’s Elimination Chamber left. Seth Rollins, Finn Balor, who joins this line-up of heavy hitters?
My Thoughts:
A great SmackDown that built so much, not just Elimination Chamber but also WrestleMania. Great opening promo from Cody with McIntyre to tease that possibility for Mania, and then bringing in Jacob was great stuff. Plus, Solo showing up for everyone to see, that was also good stuff. Jacob & Tama searching for Solo, confronting him about just leaving, and Solo’s explanation was all good, logical stuff. Good little promo from McIntyre with Jimmy for McIntyre to rub it in Jimmy’s face that everyone else in the family is doing stuff and not him. Also good superkick from Jimmy. McIntyre VS Jimmy will be a great tune-up for McIntyre going into the Chamber, as I don’t see McIntyre winning the Chamber.
Priest and Braun had very good promos to help hype the Triple Threat main event, and that was an awesome main event. And that even includes the overbooking where Solo helped Jacob, only for Cody to counter that and it all to go sideways for Solo. Jacob falling for the usual misunderstanding cliche was good, and I would think Jacob VS Solo is a Mania match. Priest winning to get into the Elimination Chamber was the right call, he can even spin off into something with McIntyre, as was teased in the Rumble. Honestly, as I’ve been saying, we need big things for the Men’s US Championship, which we got a hint of tonight.
Nakamura had a good promo for Knight and Miz to then “interrupt” and bridge off into their own promo battle. It was a very good promo, but I think there was some adlibbing to stretch for time. Still a great match from Knight VS Miz, and of course Knight wins to set up the rematch of Nakamura VS Knight. But there is some great intertwining of stories going on: Andrade and Miz; Miz and Knight; Knight and Melo; Melo and Andrade; now maybe even Melo and Miz given that backstage interaction. We need Nakamura, Knight, Melo, Andrade, Miz, and maybe there’s one more person they can add for a Six Pack Challenge.
Similarly, the tag division on SmackDown is building up. Very good promo from Profits to call everyone out, and then a great match from MCMG VS Los Garza. A shame Elektra Lopez got let go so now Legado is just Santos y Los Garza. That aside, MCMG of course gets another great win, so it might be a Fatal 4 Way: MCMG, Pretty Deadly, Profits and DIY. Then any team could win and all losing teams would stay strong so that feuds could continue past Mania and towards Backlash.
Very good match from Naomi VS Chelsea, and a fitting move for Naomi to win. That combined with the “new evidence” promo adds some more intrigue to the tag title story. After awkward technical difficulties where apparently Aldis wasn’t really in control of the screen, we are given our first real red herring, aka a clue meant to direct us to the wrong culprits. Liv & Raquel have yet to commit a sneak attack without taking credit or making it clear it was them, and it’d just be lazy saying it is them now that they’re challenging for the tag titles. I still think the moment we need is Jade returning during a tag title defense, she reveals it’s either Bianca or Naomi, Liv & Raquel win the titles because of that distraction. Then we get big stuff from Jade, Bianca and Naomi going into WrestleMania.
Great stuff with the women’s championship, like Alexa Bliss talking with Nia but also giving a Wyatt Sick6 tease. Alexa’s return story obviously needs to steer into that direction, mostly to help Wyatt Sick6 stay afloat. Plus, there’s plenty of history for Alexa and Nikki Cross to bring up. Nia VS Tiff was an awesome match, and I suppose the disqualification was the best way to end it to keep both Nia and Tiff strong. Trish being here tonight, Elimination Chamber being in Toronto, of course Trish was going to get in on a story. Trish & Tiff VS Nia & Candice will be a lot of fun, but I would think Candice takes the pin.
I’m a little surprised Charlotte didn’t tease her decision for another week, but Charlotte choosing Tiff makes sense. For one, Tiff brought up being called “the next Charlotte,” but also, Jey Uso chose Gunther, meaning Jey chose Raw. So now the Women’s Rumble winner has to be on SmackDown by default to keep the balance. And Charlotte VS Tiff will still be a great match. The Chamber now gives Rhea her challenger, and while it was rumored WWE wants Rhea VS Bianca, that depends on the Jade whodunnit story. We can’t just go back to Rhea VS Liv, so the winner should either be Bayley or Alexa for something fresher.
Though, that’s kinda funny to say when we once again build to Kevin VS Sami. Of course, that feud is an exception because Kevin and Sami are great promos, as we got tonight, and are awesome in the ring. And while they’re gearing up towards more a fight than a match at Chamber, you can bet WrestleMania has Kevin VS Sami in an attempt to steal the show from everybody. The only thing bigger would be if it was a ladder match a la their classic Ladder War match in ROH. It doesn’t even need to be a ladder match, it could just be a No Disqualification match so they can bring out whatever they want and do whatever they want.
My Score: 8.8/10

Andrew’s TNA iMPACT! Results & Match Ratings: 2.13.2025
Two title matches, against opponents that….well…you wouldn’t expect. Let’s see how it goes!
![](https://thechairshot.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/02/TNA_feat_21325.png)
Well TNA hasn’t done a bad job at splicing in the NXT talent with the TNA talent, while keeping things building and looking interesting. I’ve heard a few complaints about TNA not explaining who the NXT talents are, but that’s irrelevant. WWE is the biggest show in the game, no one needs to talk about the more established brand. If you don’t know who some of the NXT talent is, that is a you problem. It’s not like a certain other brand that randomly debuts Indy talent who only regional or super hardcore fans have heard of. Everyone from NXT in this crossover has been established on WWE programing before.
So I like where things are going, lets see if the momentum continues!

Results:
TNA World Heavyweight Championship: Joe Hendry (c) vs Jake Something
Oh we’re starting with this? Okay.
Early on its similar situations; Collar and Elbow tie up is deadlocked, Jake runs Joe over a couple times with rope run Shoulder Tackles but Joe returns the favor and then hits his Stalling Suplex into an Irish Whip to the buckle sending Jake chest first and a near fall. Jake tries to fire up out of it, a few Chops and looks to keep up the momentum, but Joe counters with a Scoop Slam and we go to commercial. We come back from commercial and Jake is working Joe over with Forearms against the ropes, Joe does go for two flash Cradle attempts for near falls but a Lariat takes off Joe’s head and gives Jake a near fall of his own. Jake starts laying in the Wrist Control Short Rainmakers before playing to the crowd and starts looking to continue the offense but Joe has a small flurry. A little back and forth, Joe counters a Whip with one of his own, but Jake coldcocks him with a Forearm and starts laying the Haymakers into Joe who’s grounded in the middle of the mat.
Crowd wills Joe back to his feet, Euro Upper gets a little space, but Jake cuts him off again and drops him on the apron. Jake looks to hit the ropes for something huge but Hendry pops back in and Lariat drops Jake. Jake eats some Slams and Lariats, Sack of Shit into the Kip-Up and turn, calls for the Standing Ovation but Jake blocks it and drives his shoulder into Hendry’s gut to wrest control back. Jake does the Warrior psyche up, looks for Into the Void but Hendry dodges it, Hendry eats a few Lariats, returns one of his own that sends Jake to the outside but Jake lands on his feet and pulls Hendry to a seated position and does…some kind of Running Forearm through the ropes thing? It looks stupid.
Jake goes to the top rope, Joe cuts him off, Avalanche Sack of Shit, Kip-Up, Standing Ovation called for…and…CONNECTS! Hendry retains.
Oh Mokuba cuts in as soon as Hendry retains. “Myyy brrrooottthhheeerrr”, but Santino’s music hits Jake attacks Joe, Santino gets into the ring to try and stop it, Nic comes to Ryan’s aid when Jake looks to go after Ryan next, Superkick rocks Jake, Nic goes for another but Jake powders and Nic Superkicks Santino.

Elegance Clique (Heather & Ash) vs King Bees
Heather starts quick, Danni is getting isolated after Heather knocks Charity off the apron. A little bit of quick offense and near falls, Ash hits an Implant Buster/Front Dropkick combo for another near fall. Danni starts to fight back, but Heather cuts off Danni and tags back in Ash. Ash tries to keep Danni down, but she fights back up again, strikes, chops, stereo Facebusters instead of Crossbodies is at least unique. Simultaneous tags and Charity starts dominating the Elegance Clique, Ash makes the save, Danni tags back in, Charity tries to set up Heather for a Doomsday style move, but Heather counters with a Frankensteiner that sends Charity into the ropes, crotches Danni, Ash gets in a few shots, Seated Springboard Spanish Fly from Heather and the match is done! Ash and Heather do the lipstick insult post-match stuff, so Spitfire comes out to run them off.
Sami Callihan vs Frankie Kazarian
Mance Warner attacks Sami before the match, Sami is laid out on the ramp. Kaz thinks he got an easy win, but Sami stumbles to the ring to fight.
Sami hits a Stunner when Kaz gets a little too excited at the easy prey, Mance and Steph run back down the ramp to guarantee interference costing Sami the match. Kaz slaps on his Chicken Wing and Sami taps out. Very nothing match, but it leads to Sami grabbing a mic and calling Mance out into a fight. We get a security pull apart.
Cora Jade vs Xia Brookside
Cora comes out cocky and arrogant, doing the relaxing on the turnbuckles taunts, Xia gets offended, takes it to Cora a little and returns the taunt. Cora doesn’t seem super pleased by that, but Xia stays one step ahead of her early on, even doing her cute little wiggle to show off a bit. Cora has to powder, then run away from Xia, slide back into the ring and cries to the referee that her injured knee is acting up. So it slows down Xia enough to get got, Xia gets rocked a few quick attacks from Cora and she keeps Xia grounded. Cora pushes Xia into the corner, does the Kevin Nash Leg Choke, Xia tries to fire out but eats a Lariat for a near fall from Cora. Springboard Stomp to the back gives Cora another near fall, Snap Suplex…too many random pinfall attempts and Cora is starting to show a lot of frustration about not having an easy night.
Bow and Arrow Submission from Cora, Xia tries to fight out, but Cora pulls her down by the hair and goes right back to the Bow and Arrow. Snamare escape finally from Xia, she blocks a punch of Cora strikes and peppers her back, a sequence of Lariats into a Tilt-a-Whirl Headscissors which sends Cora to the corner. Back Elbow Feint from Xia seats Cora, Broken Wings after a little dance, Russian Leg Sweep from Xia for two. Brooksy Bomb attempt, Cora counters, Xia counters Cora but Cora hits a V-Trigger to rock Xia. Cora goes for Jaded but Xia counters, Running Knee Lift from Cora into Jaded and Cora wins.
Either Tessa Blanchard has a match NEXT WEEK or there will be CONSEQUENCES!!! @milanmiracle @AriannaGraceWWE

Rascalz come out to cut a promo, explain the Ace alliance is just a convenient pairing. They call out Wes’ new crew, they think they’re gonna handle things because they have numbers, Ace shows up behind Wes’ crew, a brawl ensues where the heels stand tall after a few Low Blows and triple teaming Ace. Wes did mention something about going after the Tree House since the Rascalz don’t have any gold. So as Wes, Tyriek and Tyson walk out, we’re left to wonder what they’re gonna do with the Tree House.
TNA Knockouts World Championship: Masha Slamovich (c) vs Savannah Evans
Masha tries to start quick because Savannah is actually imposing her size and power on Masha. I’m not totally sure how to feel about this since Savannah has no established reasoning for being a real challenge but Masha is selling her ass off. She eats a Spinout Sideslam and this just makes Masha looks like kind of a jabroni. Masha went from an Undefeated Russian Terror to now she’s getting woman handled by a lower card wrestler who’s rarely been on episodes and was even gone for like 8 months.
This is a terrible match, it doesn’t make Savannah look impressive, it makes Masha look like a joke. I’ve mentioned that the Knockouts Division is pretty terrible, but they shouldn’t agree with me so hard that Masha is selling for Savannah. Masha hits the Capo Kick to rock Savannah, tries a Sunset Flip after Evans blocks the Requiem, but a little back and forth, Savannah gets kicked in the head but still grabs Masha, Masha tries a Sunset Flip again but Savannah just sits down on her for two. This is…dumb.
We shouldn’t be seeing a competitive match with enhancement talent, Savannah even grabs Masha and hits some kind of modified Fireman’s Carry Suplex for a near fall. PK and Sliding Dropkick from Masha, this is going on too long and been too close. Sole Butt into Requiem and the misery if over. This was logically insulting garbage,
Josh Alexander vs Eric Young w/Jabronis
Josh starts off hot, taking it to EY, EY even tries to escape the ring but Josh keeps him in close quarters and lays EY out a few times. EY stumbles to the corner like a Bushwacker and tries to escape again, but Josh grabs him and eats a poke to the eyes for his effort. EY does the Kevin Nash Corner Footchoke also. A move I rarely see we saw twice tonight…odd. Josh fires up and lays in the Forearms, whips EY to the corner, Flair Flip, tries to bait Josh with a Shoulder Tackle through the ropes, Josh side steps, kicks EY to seat him and lands the Low Crossbody for a signature pop and the jabroni duo stalk Josh to get him distracted so EY manages a Stun Gun to take the control back.
Commercial kicks in and when we come back EY is still in control. Clubbing blows across Josh’s neck as he drapes him over the apron. We all know why EY is going after the neck, and some Stomps and looks to choke him so the referee admonishes EY. While admonishing the Jabronis go after Josh. Josh slides through EY’s legs after a rope run, a bit of locomotion Cradle attempts but EY goes to the corner to try and recover, when Josh follows EY grabs him, chokes him from the seated position and then drops a Knee on the neck. A nice back and forth, EY throws Josh tries to get some control back and EY lands a Dropkick from the corner as they both slowly meet the 10 count. Strike Exchange, off the ropes, Back Body Drop from Josh, into Stinger Splash, Rolling Senton, and King Kong Knee Drop from Josh for two!
Josh looks for the Ankle Lock, but EY gets the ropes immediately, Josh looks for the Spicolli Driver, but EY slips it, throats Josh with the top rope, Macho Elbow for two! Josh hits the Styles Clash to a solid pop, but only a two count! Josh looks for something up the buckles, EY counters him and looks for the Avalanche Piledriver, but Josh counters that, Ankle Lock, transition into Sharpshooter, Jabroni distraction, more back and forth with Josh and EY, Ankle Lock attempt again, jabronis interfere again and slide in the Casey Jones mask. EY clocks Josh, Piledriver, EY wins.
Overall Score: 5/10
On paper two main title matches seem interesting unless you follow the product and know the challengers aren’t deserving and have no build. Jake is someone I’d like to see get pushed, but he never does, and I mostly blame his gimmick name. Something is funny for the Indies, but completely moronic to try and brand on even a marginally legit brand. Savannah didn’t deserve the offense she got in, the Knockouts title looks bad, Masha looks bad after that, this Knockouts Division is literally on life support. The Knockouts needs the NXT Women’s Division like fish need water to live. This is a painful low for the Knockouts. When I look back at the Dollhouse era as miles above this…that’s a sad perspective. Also, where the hell is Lei Ying Lee? She officially signed and has been used like twice since putting pen to paper. She is needed to make this Knockouts Division less awful.
There was definitely some stuff to like. Santino suspending Nic drags things out well, Ryan’s irritating smarmy character is great, Xia looked good in her match Cora, the main event was very good and the impending 6 man with Ace, Rascalz and Wes’ Crew should be fun.
A lot of this show felt like filler or just matches for the sake of matches. But it was at least mostly tolerable, and I have a little intrigue with this Mustafa Ali faction.
