William Byron pulls into the parking lot!

He was giving AJ styles a ride into the show, and Styles gives the NASCAR champion a custom WWE Championship! Will Styles make Raw phenomenal?

Sami Zayn is here!

Charlotte, North Carolina is fired up to see the Underdog from the Underground after he was brutalized by Kevin Owens just last week. We heard from both men last Friday Night SmackDown, and Sami says he won’t be cleared for who knows how long. Sami goes to the ring, grabs a mic, and he takes a second to check his neck. The fans cheer Sami on, and Sami says, “Gotta tell you, it’s been a rough couple of weeks, but damn, that feels good to hear. Thank you so much for that.” The fans cheer, and Sami says he has a lot of time these past couple of weeks just sitting, rehabbing, and thinking back on his history with Kevin Owens.

The fans boo Kevin’s name, but Sami says it is crazy. In the entire history of this business, there are no other two men whose names that have been tied to each other for their entire careers like them. Think about it: Pool halls in Montreal, to independents, to NXT, to WWE, all the way to the main event of WrestleMania. Sami and Kevin did all that together. Now, a story that long, there will obviously be betrayals, and also forgiving and forgetting. But unfortunately, Kevin, there is no more forgiving and forgetting this time! But as Sami said before, this wasn’t Kevin trying to get ahead! This was Kevin trying to END Sami Zayn!

The fans boo that, too, and Sami says the problem for Kevin is that he didn’t get the job done! The fans cheer that! Sami is still standing, and he wont’ pretend he’s 100%, he’s not. But he knows what he has in the tank, and it’s enough for a fight! So Kevin, you want to be in Toronto for Elimination Chamber? Guess what? So will Sami! Sami WANTS this fight, and he is pretty sure everyone here wants to see that fight! But wait, here comes Adam Pearce. He asks Sami, “What’re we doing? We have talked about this more than once.” Sami’s talked to Pearce, to Aldis, and sure, Sami wants the match, Kevin wants the match, and the fans want the match.

And Sami, you know there is a big part of Pearce that wants the match. But Sami has been given an answer more than once. Pearce said no, Aldis said no, the Board said no, and the medical team said no! Boo if you want, it’s the truth. That’s the kicker: Sami is NOT medically cleared to compete. He shouldn’t even be in the ring! So as much as Pearce would love nothing more than to make this official, the answer is still no. Pearce is sorry. Pearce leaves, the fans boo, but Sami says hold on. How long have they known each other? Pearce was with them long before their names were on a WWE contract.

Pearce knows the history here, he knows how this time is different, and he knows Sami isn’t taking “no” for an answer! Sami is not leaving the ring until he gets the match. The fans rally, Pearce says yeah, he’s known Sami and Kevin for 20 years. He saw it from the beginning and until now. But Pearce knows Sami knows that Pearce can’t sanction this match. He can’t! So what does that mean? If Kevin wants to wrap a chair around Sami’s face, Pearce can’t stop him. If Kevin wants to drag Sami up into the concourse and beat him senseless, Pearce can’t stop him! And Sami, understand: If Kevin wants to hoist Sami up to piledrive him again, and again, and again… Pearce can’t stop him.

There will be no refs to enforce rules, which means the WWE has to wash their hands of this legally. Sami assumes all the risk for very little reward. Because even if Sami wins, he still loses something. So what’s Pearce to do, Sami? What it means is, in Toronto, Elimination Chamber could be the very last match of Sami Zayn. Does Sami understand that? Charlotte, NC chants, “LET THEM FIGHT! LET THEM FIGHT!” Sami steps out of the ring, up the ramp, and right to Pearce’s face. Does Sami understand? Of course he does! It means if SAMI wants to wrap a chair around Kevin’s face, Pearce can’t stop him!

If Sami beats Kevin up in the concourse, Pearce can’t stop him! And if Sami decides to dump Kevin on his head to end Kevin’s career, Pearce can’t stop him. So Sami gets exactly what this is. Give him the damn match!! The fans fire up for Sami, and Pearce sighs. Then in Toronto, Elimination Chamber, it will be Kevin Owens VS Sami Zayn, but…! It’s not official, it’s UNSANCTIONED!! The fans fire up, and this is going to be the most violent match Sami and Kevin have ever had in the WWE, and maybe ever! Who survives the final fallout of this friendship?

Judgment Day meets in the clubhouse.

Carlito goes on about buying DLC for WWE 2K25, but Liv Morgan and Dominik talk about Naomi & Bianca Belair being here for tonight’s Raw. Dom is just worried they’ll get revenge on Liv & Raquel for the Jade Cargill attack. Liv says whatever, the real revenge is Liv & Raquel winning the tag titles. But let’s talk about Dom. Liv appreciates Dom stepping up for the team, and she is sure Dom will beat Styles like the strong, sexy man he really is. Dom thanks Liv for that, but he just wishes Finn would see things the same way. Well, not so much the sexy part, but the other stuff. Dom wishes Finn would come around on the new members thing.

Liv agrees, and Dom says Finn just jumps on him for everything. Finn walks in and asks if someone mentioned his name. Yeah! Liv says they were just talking about Finn’s match with Seth Rollins, they can’t wait to watch him win. Aw shucks, thanks! Speaking of that, Finn is confident that after tonight, there will be three members of The Judgment Day going into the Elimination Chamber! Liv beat Iyo Sky, Finn will beat Rollins, and Raquel… Well, it’d be so embarrassing if she lost to lil’ Roxanne Perez. Raquel takes the sunglasses off, has Carlito sit down, and says she’ll handle her business like Finn will his.

Yes, Finn will handle business, just like Raquel. And then Judgment Day will be back in business! Finn turns to go, but then he turns back to tell Dom, “And no new members!” Well, that answers that question… Finn heads out, Dom follows, and Carlito nods. Liv tells Carlito to go, stand by Dom. Oh, right! Carlito heads out, will Judgment Day (not) be fine?

William Byron is now ringside, showing off both his NASCAR championship rings and that all gold WWE Championship given to him by Styles. The bell rings and the fans rally for Styles. Styles keeps Dom from ropes to hit a BIG back suplex!

Dom drags Styles up for some Latino Heat, but he dodges Styles lariat! Dom drop toeholds Styles onto ropes!

Dom dials it up, 619! Not the strongest hit but Dom hurries up top all the same! Dom gives more Latino Heat, for the FROG- FLOP! Styles avoids disaster and Carlito is worried! Carlito coaches Dom, tries to rally the fans but gets booed instead. Styles rises, but Dom swings on him! Styles blocks to fire the PHENOMENAL BLITZ! But wait! Slithering into the ring is Bron Breakker! But Styles dodges, Bron Breakker SPEARS Dom!! The fans fire up as Styles GAMANGIRIS Bron, then TOSSES him out! Bron gets right back up, the fans bark, and Bron rips his own shirt off! Bron throws it at Styles, but Styles catches it with ease! Bron may be badass, but Styles is phenomenal! Will Styles make sure Bron understands that in a match for the WWE Intercontinental Championship?

Team American Made talks backstage.

They enjoy going over what they did to the War Raiders last week. Julius using the title belt, WHAM for Erik! Brutus using the title belt, WHAM for Ivar! Ivy Nile says yes, that was cool. But they didn’t win. Yet. Yes, but they promised Master Gable that by the time he got back, they’d all have gold. That’s why tonight, Ivy will take care of Dakota Kai. Speaking of, Dakota turns the corner. Ivy walks over and tells Dakota that she knows people want to see Dakota get her second shot at the title, but the Cinderella story ends tonight. Ivy’s taking that title home to American Made.

Dakota laughs that off and says, “Look here, ya little whippersnapper.” Many women have tried to take Dakota down before, but they all failed, and they were all far tougher than Ivy. Dakota earns that rematch, so see you in the ring. #CobraKai heads out, will she strike the Diamond Pitbull down?

WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship #1 Contender’s Match: Ivy Nile VS Dakota Kai!

Raw returns as Dakota makes her entrance, Ivy already waiting. The bell rings and the two tie up. They go around, Ivy pushes Dakota back but Dakota turns things around. Lyra is quite surprised, but pleasantly so! Lyra stands with Dakota in the ring, holding up the belt. Captain Kick punches her ticket yet again, but will this finally be her moment to shine? Or will the Morrigan continue to fly high above the rest?

Gunther is here!

But he’s openly mocking Jey Uso! He says Jey always makes his entrance from the concourse, so tonight, he wants to feel what “YEET” is all about. Gunther makes his way out into the crowd, and he mocks the bounce. C’mon, do it with him! The fans boo this blatant parody, but Gunther says he’s much smarter than everyone so he understands: a simple gesture for simple people. Jey is comfortable up here because he’s quite simple himself. Gunther doesn’t blame Charlotte, NC for not appreciating him. Gunther performing for them would be like reading Shakespeare to a dog! The fans boo while Gunther continues down towards ringside.

Gunther asks the young fans to step aside before “something happens.” The fans keep booing, but Gunther says he is beginning to understand: As the best wrestler in this company right now, he is sick and tired of stepping in the ring with people that can’t even lace his boots! He was hopeful that he could talk some sense into Jey, or even beat some sense into him to make the “right decision.” But because of all these fans yeeting and dancing along, it gave jey a false sense of confidence, and it made Jey dig his own grave. Oh, shut up, you all stink! The fans need to understand: WrestleMania won’t have the match up in the crowd, it’ll happen in the ring.

And after the bell sounds, Gunther will outclass Jey Uso in every aspect of this sport! Gunther continues to ringside now, then up the steel steps. The fans chant, “YOU SUCK! YOU SUCK!” but Gunther just smiles. Gunther says after what all the fans did, after WrestleMania, Jey Uso’s blood will be on their hands. And now, for once, let’s all be honest with ourselves and with Jey. Do they really think Jey can beat Gunther at WrestleMania? The fans cheer and chant, “WE WANT JEY! WE WANT JEY!” Gunther says he is aware no one here has a clue anyway. So let’s get a professional opinion on this topic.

Gunther then walks to commentary, and he stands on the desk. Gunther looks down at Michael Cole & Pat McAfee quite literally, and he asks them if their supposedly unbiased and professional opinion, do they really believe Jey has a chance at WrestleMania? Pat and Maggle hesitate to answer. Gunther wants Pat to say something! Pat always runs his mouth so go ahead! Then Gunther throws the mic at Pat! Pat picks it up, and says, “Do I think Jey Uso can beat you at WrestleMania?” Cole says be careful, Pat… Pat looks to the fans, the fans say “YEET!” and Pat says on one night only, anything can happen. A yeet here, a yeet there, Pat sure hopes Jey can beat Gunther.

The fans cheer, but Gunther takes off his jacket. But as Gunther creeps closer, JEY makes his entrance from the stage! The refs try to keep Jey back but the fans are all fired up! Cole says Pat is gonna get them both killed! Gunther eggs Jey on, so Jey jukes the refs! Jey then dodges Gunther to fire off haymakers! “YEET! YEET! YEET!” Security rushes out here, Jey breaks free to SUPERKICK one, then TOSS the other! But Gunther gtes a SLEEPER! Producers rush out here, they separate these two, but fans want to “LET THEM FIGHT!” Jey gets loose and he SPLASHES Gunther in the corner! Gunther bails out, producers hurry to keep him back!

The fans fire up but Gunther is oddly amused. Gunther tells Jey that in just over 8 weeks, it all ends for him! Will Main Event Jey make sure it’s the other way around?

Backstage interview with Liv Morgan & Raquel Rodriguez.

Cathy Kelley is with Judgment Day’s leading ladies, and she brings up the video evidence that implicates them in the Jade Cargill whodunnit. Liv stops Cathy there and brings up how Cathy is even wearing glasses. Did Cathy see the video? Did she? Did it show them attacking Jade? No, so this is all reckless speculation. The only thing Liv & Raquel have done is elevate the level of competition in the Women’s Division. And it’ll happen again as Raquel beats cute lil’ Roxanne. Sure, Roxie has the new Ironwoman record in the Royal Rumble, but in just minutes, Raquel squashes her like the little bug that she is.

Then is this them denying any involvement in what happened- Liv says what it means is that they have no time for silly little theories, Cathy! But Liv wonders, if they had attacked Jade, would they feel bad about it? Raquel says not at all. Something like that could’ve happened to anybody that gets in their way. And tonight, that’s Roxanne. Liv & Raquel head out, Cathy says thanks for nothing. But are Liv & Raquel really the ones whodunnit? Or do they just want everyone to think they toppled a titan as strong as Jade?

PENTA VS Pete Dunne!

The Man with No Fear continued to show he’s exactly that by calling out The Impeccable German and The Bruiserweight. Kaiser warned Penta in return, but then decided Dunne could have his shot first. Will Dunne make sure Penta is done here on Monday Night Raw? Or will Dunne realize what it really is to have #CEROMIEDO?

The bell rings and the fans fire up while Dunne talks smack. Penta says CERO- Dunne SLAPOS him! Penta CHOPS, and then the forearms fly! Penta sobats, then headlocks, but Dunne powers up. Penta holds on tight, but Dunne powers up again. Penta still holds on, but Dunne finally gets free. Penta steps over the drop down, stands Dunne up, but Dunne shoves Penta away. Penta runs and RANAS, and the fans fire up! Dunne seethes but Penta whips him. Dunne reverses, Penta KICKS him down, and the fans cheer again! Penta storms up on Dunne, whips him, but Dunne SHOTGUNS Penta down!

Dunne drags Penta around by an arm, traps it, and Dunne pulls on Penta’s arm! Dunne even takes the glove off! Dunne bends the fingers back, then isolates the arm to STOMP it! The fans boo but Dunne drops knees on the bad arm! Dunne pulls on the legs, then he SMASHES the knee again and again, before he STOMPS the leg! Penta writhes, the fans boo, but Dunne drags him up. Dunne GAMANGIRIS Penta in the corner, then wrenches to whip corner to corner. Dunne runs up to ROCK Penta, then whips him the other way, for another forearm SMASH! Dunne CHOPS Penta, CHOPS him again, then whips.

Penta goes up, over, and BACKSTABBERS! Dunne flounders and tumbles to the apron, but Penta is right after him! Penta CHOPS again, then fireman’s carries. But Dunne pulls on the bad arm! Dunne bends Penta against the ropes, then SNAPS the fingers! Dunne hurries to slingshot APRON DDT! Penta flops down, the fans boo, but Dunne snarls as he rises up. The fans boo more as Kaiser shows himself, but Kaiser assures Dunne he won’t do anything. The ring count climbs, and Raw goes to break.

Raw returns and Dunne is again snarling, but he has Penta on the apron now. Dunne drags Penta up to bring him to the corner, and he bends the arm against the crossbar! The ref counts, Dunne stops at 4, and Penta clutches his elbow. Dunne climbs the corner, but Penta CHOPS him first! Penta backs up, runs back in, and he jumps to RANA Dunne off the top! The fans fire up and Penta feeds off that energy! SLING-DOG! Penta gets Charlotte fired up more, for a- NO, Dunne slips free, then jumps up, but into a fireman’s carry! Penta hits the SPINNING DEATH VALLEY! Cover, TWO! Kaiser is moderately impressed as this continues.

Penta stalks Dunne to a corner, but Dunne ENZIGIRIS! Dunne goes up, but Penta CLUBS him on the back! Penta tucks Dunne in for CHEEKY NANDOS! Penta then runs up, headstands, but Dunne catches him RUNNING LIGER BOMB! Cover, TWO!! Kaiser is a bit more impressed, and the fans rally as Penta rises. Dunne sits up, the two go forehead to forehead, and they even give junkyard dog headbutts. They both fire palm strikes and SLAPS, and Penta gets the edge! But Dunne slips around to GERMAN SUPLEX! Penta stands, Dunne runs up, but Penta SUPERKICKS! Penta runs, into a GAMANGIRI!

Both men stand, Dunne runs up, goes up and over, but Penta runs in! MEXICAN DESTROYER!! Penta and Dunne are both down, the ref checks Dunne, and somehow Dunne is still in this. Dunne goes to the outside, “This is Awesome!” as Penta fires up! “CERO! MIEDO!” Penta builds speed, but Kaiser is in the way! The ref reprimands, Kaiser tells everyone to calm down. Penta runs anyway, but Dunne GAMANGIRIS him first! Roll up, high stack, TWO!! Penta survives and Kaiser asks what’s wrong. Dunne tells Kaiser to stay out of his business! Kaiser says fine, fine. Dunne stands Penta up, but Penta sends Dunne into Kaiser!

Penta pump handles Dunne, PENTA DRIVER!! Cover, Penta wins!!

Winner: PENTA, by pinfall

Kaiser and Dunne just screw each other up, and Penta stays undefeated! But then Kaiser ATTACKS from behind! The fans boo but Kaiser HEADBUTTS and HAMMERs away! But Dunne drags Kaiser out to shove him! Kaiser and Dunne fire hands now! Penta builds speed and FLIES! Direct hit and down go Dunne and Kaiser! The fans cheer as Penta stands tall! Will Penta, Dunne and Kaiser all just have to fight this out to settle the score?

Backstage interview with Jey Uso.

Cathy is with Jey, and says from last week’s attack by Gunther to this week’s verbal assault, how is he feeling? Jey is feeling underestimated! Valid, given he is the Royal Rumble winner. But a lot of other superstars are doubting Jey will walk out the NEW World Heavyweight Champion. Jey paces, and says they doubting him. “Jey can’t beat him!” They keep on doubting, but who is here the Royal Rumble winner? JEY! And at Mania, Jey shocks the world again when he beats Gunther and becomes the NEW World Heavyweight Champion. So uh, uh, YEET! Jey heads out, will he pull off the biggest upset ever?

The War Raiders speak.

Erik & Ivar tell Julius & Brutus Creed that last week, they were taken to the limit. American Made is everything they’re advertised to be: Young, strong, hungry, and athletic. But make no mistake, boys, you ain’t built for war. They had their shot, and they missed. They smashed the Raiders with the titles, stood over their bodies, but let them remind you that War Raiders are STILL World Tag Team Champions. This wasn’t the first time they got knocked down, this won’t be the last time they get back up. And the Creeds made the biggest mistake of their lives. The next time they meet, it’ll be war!

Women’s Elimination Chamber Qualifier: Raquel Rodriguez VS Roxanne Perez!

Judgment Day claim they run things on Raw, and they want to run things in Toronto. Liv Morgan is already in the match, will she be joined by Big Mami Cool? Or will Ricky Desperado learn Roxie’s a Prodigy for a reason?

The bell rings and Raquel stares down Roxie. Raquel storms up, Roxie dodges, and Roxie smirks as she moves around. Roxie tries to dodge again but Raquel grabs her by her hair! Raquel throws Roxie down, the fans boo, but Raquel then straight arm levers Roxie up into the air! Raquel then DROPS Roxie, and she talks trash. Liv is pleased as Raquel whips Roxie, but Roxie ducks ‘n’ dodges, then cartwheels! Roxie SLAPS Raquel, but Raquel just smiles. Roxie takes a bow, dodges a lariat, but not the SOUTHPAW! Liv says that’s right! Raquel hoists Roxie up with both hands, THROWS her into a corner, then looms over her.

Raquel stands Roxie up, throws elbows in, then she TOSSES Roxie across the way! Roxie flounders to the corner, Raquel runs up, but Roxie dodges! Roxie SLAPS Raquel again, and Raquel says that’s strike two. Raquel chases Roxie, Roxie slips into the ring and DROPKCIKS Raquel down! Then Roxie DIVES, only to get caught! Raquel pops Roxie around to LAWN DART her into the post! Roxie sputters, Raquel flexes, then Raquel high-fives Liv. Raquel storms into the ring, kicks Roxie around, taunts her, then fireman’s carries. Raquel hoists Roxie up for a PRESS SLAM! Cocky cover, TWO! Liv tells Roxie to just stay down.

Raquel stalks Roxie to ropes, scoops her, and then aims, LAWN DART SNAKE EYES! Roxie flounders back, Liv cheers, but the fans boo. Raquel soaks up the heat, then she hauls Roxie up. Roxie slips free, then she fires body shots! Raquel SWINGS Roxie around in the facelock! Raquel goes around and around, then TOSSES Roxie away at TEN! The fans do cheer that, and Raquel has another cocky cover, but Roxie’s under the bottom rope. Raquel drags Roxie up, hoists her up, but Roxie RANAS Raquel into buckles! The fans fire up, Roxie runs up, but Raquel puts her on the apron. Roxie HOTSHOTS Raquel, then CHOP BLOCKS!

Roxie DIVES to take Raquel down! The fans fire up as Roxie keeps moving! Another DIVE, and down goes Raquel again! Roxie hurries to put Raquel in, then runs, tilt-o-whirl, and RUSSIAN- NO, Raquel is too strong! She pops Roxie up, but Roxie DDTS!! Roxie hurries to the corner, TRIANGLE JUMP LIONSAULT! Cover, TWO! Raquel stays in this, Liv is worried, but Roxie waits on Raquel. Roxie runs, dodges a lariat, and then she ROCKS Raquel!

Roxie SOBATS, hops on, but no Pop Rox! Raquel BOOTS Roxie down! Cover, TWO!! Roxie survives again and even Liv is frustrated. Wait! Here come Bianca Belair & Naomi! Just as Dom worried about! The EST storms in from one side, Naomi slips in from the other! Liv finds herself surrounded, so she swings! But sh egets pinballed instead! And then THROWN into the barriers! Raquel is furious, but Roxie gets her with POP ROX!! Cover, ROXIE WINS!!

Winner: Roxanne Perez, by pinfall (advances to Elimination Chamber)

Raquel is shocked, but now she and Liv have to deal with the StrongEST Glow! They thrash Liv into the ring, torture rack, but Raquel drags Liv to safety! The fans boo, but the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions warn Liv & Raquel that revenge is coming! The Women’s Elimination Chamber has its full six: Naomi, Bianca, Liv, Roxie, Bayley and Alexa Bliss! Who will win that golden ticket to a Women’s World Championship match with Rhea Ripley?

Backstage interview with Seth Rollins.

Cathy is now with the Visionary and his fuzzy red jacket, bringing up the big match with an opponent he knows quite well. Any words before he heads out there? Seth says he of course has a few words. WrestleMania is just under 10 weeks away, but he can’t get there unless he goes through Elimination Chamber. And he can’t get through Elimination Chamber unless he wins tonight! So tonight, on Monday Night Rollins, right here in Charlotte, NC, this is as big as it gets. Finn needs this win, but Rollins needs it more. And Rollins is all outta words. That means it is time for a fight! Rollins heads out, but in steps Karrion Kross & Scarlett.

Kross tells Sami that he knows Sami will see this at some point, because they both know Sami keeps a close eye on his “good friend,” Rollins. But Kross is just trying to wrap his mind around this delirious mindset Sami and all his “friends” have. Jey Uso actually believes he’ll beat Gunther at WrestleMania? And Rollins believes he’ll qualify for the Elimination Chamber and eliminate “The Invisible Man,” John Cena? No, no, no. And Sami actually thinks he stands a chance against Kevin Owens in the state Sami is in? My God… Those other two, they lost their minds, there’s no helping them. But Sami, Kross still believes deep down that Sami knows there’s always more time to turn things around.

Kross & Scarlett now leave, but what could Mr. Doomsday mean by all that?

Iyo Sky speaks.

“How quickly everything can change. A year ago, I was champion, on top of the world. Heading onto the biggest stage of them all. Now, my path to WrestleMania isn’t so clear. There was a good chance I wouldn’t have my moment this year. But this match with Rhea is all the opportunity I need. I respect Rhea. I know her better than she knows herself. Every time we crossed paths in NXT, no matter what she threw at me, I stood victorious. In two weeks, when I pin Rhea once again, I will take my rightful spot at the top of this division, and punch my ticket to WrestleMania. That is MY championship, And I want it back!”

The Evil Genius has spoken, but will she stay undefeated against The Brutality? Or will Mami still be on top?

The New Day is in the ring.

Charlotte, NC is not happy to see Kofi Kingston & Xavier Woods, especially after what they did to Rey Mysterio as Raw was going off the air. Dragon Lee tried to make the save but he got beat up and even POWERBOMBED 2v1! Then as if that wasn’t enough, Woods managed to use a chair on Rey’s leg against the post! Woods & Kofi like seeing that footage again, but then don’t get why they’re getting booed. Woods mockingly says, “Get well soon, Rey!” But they also want to talk to all the fans here, only to get booed more. Kofi says okay, just give them a second to speak. The booing continues, and New Day still doesn’t understand.

The fans now chant, “NEW! DAY SUCKS!” Woods says shut up! Shut the hell up, every single one of you!! You’re all so mad about what they said to Big E, their friend! That they told Big E the truth to keep his lazy ass at home! They’re mad about Mysterio! The Hall of Famer that has done nothing but suck the lives out of every fresh new luchador that walks into this company! That’s who they’re supposed to respect? Y’all have gone insane! Everyone puts Rey on a pedestal, but why? Because he’s a Hall of Famer? The greatest luchador of all time? Heart and soul of WWE? Well guess what?! Kofi has more title wins than Rey Mysterio!!

Kofi has been here longer than Rey Mysterio! He’s been here 19 YEARS! The difference is, Kofi never left. If anyone is a locker room leader, it’s Kofi, NOT Rey! Rey kicking New Day out is audacious! And it is that level of disrespect that has forced New Day to come out and take a steel chair to Rey’s ankle. That is why New Day made Rey cry. And Rey sat there, middle of the ring, crying, tears down his cheeks, not willing to show his face! The fans continue to chant, “NEW! DAY SUCKS!” but Kofi says the fans don’t like them. So what?! They could’ve done worse! You should be thankful that New Day showed mercy to their hero!

Woods says be thankful they didn’t take Rey out back and give him the Old Yeller treatment! This gives Rey a few extra vacation days to spend with his wife. Thank the New Day! Thank GOD even! Everyone here should be down on their knees, hands held to the sky, screaming, “THANK GOD FOR THE NEW DAY~!” But wait! The LWO is here! The fans cheer as Dragon Lee, Cruz Del Toro & Joaquin Wilde are here. Lee says what they did to Rey, that is unforgiveable! Lee says he can say it best in Espanol, which he does, and then is sure New Day has no idea what that means. But he promises, he’ll show them specifically what that means. It’s something they already know: NEW DAY SUCKS!

LWO rushes the ring, brawl with New Day, and that’s 3v2 in the LWO’s advantage! The fans cheer as New Day gets stomped, then Cruz LARIATS Kofi up and out! Lee & Wilde DOUBLE SUPERKICK Woods out! Then Cruz & Wilde hold ropes open for Lee, only for New Day to retreat! New Day is furious, but when and where will they face the consequences of their actions?

The StrongEST Glow regroups backstage.

They feel good getting even a little bit of revenge on Liv & Raquel, but Cathy hurries over. She brings up Naomi & Bianca going after Liv & Raquel. Was that the revenge they were getting for Jade? Naomi says she and Bianca were counting down the days to learn the truth about what happened. Now Liv & Raquel will count down their days. Bianca says Liv might as well see Elimination Chamber as a handicap match, cuz the only time it really goes every woman for herself is when it’s Bianca and Naomi. Liv better bring it on, because Naomi & Bianca aren’t afraid to bringing the fight to each other. So long as it is one of them facing Rhea.

Or Iyo. You can’t sleep on Iyo, because she could take that title from Rhea after Elimination Chamber. And you can bet, Naomi & Bianca will be watching that match. The tag champs head out, will they be grabbing up even more gold on the Road to WrestleMania?

Men’s Elimination Chamber Qualifier: Seth Rollins VS Finn Balor!

John Cena, CM Punk, Drew McIntyre, Damian Priest and Logan Paul are already in, and it is time to fill out the field! The Visionary and The Prince have battled before, but this could be them at their hungriest and most desperate. Who runs the other off the Road to WrestleMania and heads for Toronto?

Raw returns as Finn makes his entrance. But then Finn DECKS Rollins the moment he’s in the ring! The fans boo, the ref reprimands, but Finn pulls Rollins’ red jacket off him to stomp him! The ref backs Finn off, Rollins says ring the damn bell! The bell rings, Finn RAMS Rollins then CHOPS him down! Finn bumps Rollins off buckles, fires body shots, then whips corner to corner. Rollins reverses, kicks and underhooks, but Finn trips him to DOUBLE STOMP! Finn reels Rollins in, underhooks, and he steals the PEDIGREE! Cover, TWO! Rollins survives but Finn grins. Finn goes to the corner, runs up, SHOTGUN!

Rollins hits buckles then falls down! Finn climbs up, the fans boo, but Rollins avoids the Coup De Grace! LARIAT! Both men are down and the fans fire up! Finn rises first, and he storms up on Rollins to KICK out a leg! The fans rally but Finn CLUBS Rollins on the neck. Finn CHOPS Rollins, CLAWS his face, then rains down fists! The ref counts as Rollins is in the ropes, but Finn lets off to soak up the heat. Finn storms up on Rollins, fires body shots, then whips corner to corner. Rollins comes back and BOOTS Finn down! Rollins runs up, forearm SMASH, then he stomps away! The ref counts, pulls Rollins back, and the fans fire up!

Finn staggers up, Rollins runs back in to forearm SMASH again! And then he hits a BACKBREAKER! And a LION- NO, Finn moves, Rollins lands out! Finn bails out, Rollins DIVES! Direct hit into the barriers and Charlotte fires up! Rollins puts Finn in, goes up and springboards, FLYING KNEE! The fans rally behind Rollins while Finn flounders. Rollins lines up a shot, CURB- NO, Finn dodges and SLINGBLADES! Finn reloads, runs back in, SHOT- NO, Rollins dropkicks Finn’s leg first! Finn writhes, clutches the knee, and Rollins stalks him. Rollins KICKS the leg out and Finn flounders again! Rollins KICKS the leg again!

Finn clings to ropes, the fans rally up, and Rollins stalks Finn for another KICK to the leg! Finn goes to a corner, Rollins puts the bad leg in ropes, and Rollins pulls on the leg! The ref counts, Rollins lets go, and Rollins paces. Finn kicks low and Rollins staggers back. Rollins bails out, maybe Finn got him in the liver. Finn hurries out after Rollins, then RAMS him into the apron! Rollins sputters and gasps, but Finn goes to the apron. Finn stomps Rollins again and again, then tells the ref to back off. Charlotte chants for “C M PUNK!” but Finn stomps Rollins more. Finn steps in to refresh the ring count, then runs, but Rollins blocks the kick!

Rollins CHOP BLOCKS Finn’s other leg, and then he hoists Finn up for a SHINBREAKER on the desk! Finn writhes again but Rollins goes to the ring. Finn hobbles his way over, but Rollins goes back out. Rollins runs up, but Finn moves! Rollins just stomps steps, but then Finn POSTS him! Finn YANKS Rollins’ legs out, and Rollins lands hard on the steel steps! Rollins writhes, Finn grins, and Raw goes to break.

Raw returns again and Finn has Rollins in a COBRA TWIST! The fans rally and Rollins endures, but Finn digs his elbow in. Rollins throws elbows into Finn’s legs, then he HIP TOSSES free! The fans fire up while Finn staggers to a corner. Rollins runs up, Finn dodges to roll up and stack, TWO! Finn KNEES Rollins low! Rollins sputters against ropes but Finn stomps him down. Finn eggs Rollins on, bumps him off buckles, and he fires hands. The ref counts, Finn stops, but then Finn climbs up. Finn soaks up heat as he rains down fists! The fans boo but Finn takes his time, so Rollins brings him off the corner!

Finn fights free of the bomb, slips around to dragon sleeper, but Rollins slips through! ROLLING ELBOW! Finn CHOPS back! Rollins ENZIGIRIS! Finn staggers, but then he PELES! Both men are down and the fans rally up! Finn snarls but the fans sing for Rollins, “WHOA~ OH~ OHH~!” Finn storms up on Rollins, but Rollins fires counter punches! And more counter punches! And a CHOP! And a haymaker! And repeat! CHOP, CHOP, CHOP! Rollins just CHOPS away on Finn, but Finn kicks low! Finn soaks up heat, but Rollins CHOPS the leg! Then he DDTS Finn! Finn staggers, Rollins runs up, and he KNEES Finn down! Cover, TWO!

Rollins LIONSAULTS, covers, TWO! Finn survives again but the fans rally behind Rollins. Rollins huffs ‘n’ puffs, the fans sing some more, and Rollins nods. Rollins aims from a corner, then runs back in, but Finn victory rolls him! TWO!! Rollins escapes, blocks a kick, then slips under Finn to BUCKLE BOMB! Finn falls, Rollins hurries up top! Rollins FROG SPLASHES, onto knees!! Cover, TWO!!! Rollins survives that turnaround, and Finn again clutches his knee. “This is Awesome! as both men slowly rise. Finn hobbles but he fires a body shot! Rollins goes to ropes, but he kicks Finn’s leg! Finn hobbles again, but he fires another body shot!

Rollins KICKS Finn’s leg! Finn fires a BODY BLOW! Finn stands Rollins up, but Rollins CHOPS! Finn fires a haymaker, Rollins hits back, repeat! The fans fire up as the shots are fast ‘n’ furious! Rollins has the edge, and then he BITES Finn! Rollins scoops, Finn slips free to EYE OF THE HURRICANE! And then a SLINGBLADE! Finn aims, Rollins rises, SHOT- NO! Rollins turns dropkick into a step through, and SHARPSHOOTER!! The fans are fired up as Finn endures! Rollins sits deep on the hold, but Finn powers up! Finn reaches out, but Rollins drags him away! And then drags him up into a PEDIGREE!! Cover, TWO!?!?!

The fans can’t believe it, and neither can Rollins! Finn somehow survives, the fans chant “REF, YOU SUCK!” and Rollins also argues the count. The ref says his count was fair, and Rollins looks to the WrestleMania sign. The dream is still in reach, but Rollins tells the ref “SUCK IT!” Rollins goes to a corner and the fans fire up again. Rollins runs in, but Finn KICKS him in the gut! And again! And then an ENZIGIRI! Rollins falls, Finn climbs, but Rollins hurries back up! Rollins anchors Finn’s legs, but Finn rains down fists! Rollins staggers away, but then he springs up to get Finn! SUPER- NO, Finn trips Rollins!

Rollins crashes down to the mat, and Finn rises up! COUP DE GRACE!!! Finn crawls back to the cover, TWO?!?! GHOST PIN!! TWO!!! Finn has a CROSSFACE!! Rollins flails, reaches out, but Finn pulls back on the hold! Rollins rolls it back, pops free, CURB STOMP!! Cover, ROLLINS WINS!

Winner: Seth Rollins, by pinfall (advances to Elimination Chamber)

Charlotte, NC is thunderous as Rollins snatches victory from the jaws of defeat! The Visionary can still see his Road to WrestleMania, but will he find a way to make it through five other top level superstars?

My Thoughts:

A great Raw tonight, with some pretty good surprises. For one, I didn’t think Dakota Kai was winning. Not that she didn’t deserve to win, because she absolutely did, but the story was making it seem like Ivy was going to face Lyra for the title. Great win for Dakota, and we’ll get a great title match between her and Lyra. Maybe Dakota wins, maybe Ivy gets involved, hard to say. Great match from Penta VS Dunne, but of course Kaiser also gets involved. That’s at least a Triple Threat in the making right there, and it’d be some awesome stuff.

Good promo from Gunther to mock Jey and get heat from the fans. It’s wild that he quoted Zack Sabre Jr. from just over a year ago with that “Shakespeare to your dog” line. Good brawl from him and Jey, and a decent response promo from Jey after, but I feel like he didn’t really have much else to say than other times. To be fair, Jey would probably end up rehashing things Gunther’s been told by Gable or Sami, aka “What’re you gonna do after you lose? How’re you gonna feel after failing?” Strange how a year later, Gunther’s ended up in another case where his opponent is seen as such an underdog compared to him, but I guess that shows how powerful he’s been booked.

Speaking of Sami, very good promo from him, though he recycled a bit from Friday’s video message. But then awesome news that we’re getting an Unsanctioned Match! It is all for the timing of WWE being back in Canada, or else this probably would’ve been the WrestleMania match. And I would think Sami wins this, as Kevin struck first with the package piledriver. Then it makes them “even” on the year, and then WrestleMania can be something even bigger. Though, hard to say there’s anything bigger than this Unsanctioned Match, outside of perhaps an I Quit match, because Sami and Kevin are not going to say those words easy.

But also, good promo from Kross putting Sami on notice. Maybe Kross does something during the Unsanctioned Match and then oddly, Sami VS Kross is a Mania match, but it’s hard to say. New Day has a very good promo to follow up the sneak attack that got “cut off” last week. And y’know what? Kofi’s right, Rey left WWE for a bit and toured the world, from NJPW to even Lucha Underground. But obviously the Heels are still wrong overall given they mistreated Big E and so on. LWO getting the better of New Day is good stuff, but like, the formula is a given: Cruz & Wilde lose, maybe even get cheated, and then maybe Rey makes a heroic return so he and Lee get one more match with New Day.

Iyo had a good promo to hype up the title match with Rhea, but they keep reusing the footage of her in the water. And while Iyo is getting better with her English, if they were going to subtitle the promo, why not just let her say all of it in Japanese? Well, whatever, Rhea VS Iyo will be awesome, but Iyo making a point of how she’s undefeated against Rhea 1v1 is going to come back to bite her. Rhea will win and retain the title, then be ready to face whoever wins the Women’s Elimination Chamber for a great WrestleMania match.

And great stuff with the Judgment Day as they connect many stories together. For one, I like that Liv & Raquel are denying that they attacked Jade without really denying it, more because they want to come off that dangerous. But then that only gets Bianca & Naomi coming after them, and that helps build the coming tag title match. Also great reference to the original Bring It On in the cheerleader outfits they wore. That aside, I still stand by my idea that Jade is going to reveal whodunnit, it’ll probably be Naomi after all, and that reveal costs Naomi & Bianca the tag titles. All the awkward talk of “It’s fine as long as one of us wins” has kinda been foreshadowing this, too, and Bianca will want after Naomi inside the Chamber match.

Dom of course lost to Styles, but it was good stuff to also set up Bron going after Styles. Bron VS Styles will be phenomenal, but I still feel like they should set up big midcard title matches for WrestleMania, like no less than a Triple Threat. And that should also apply to the women’s midcard titles. I know they just released people, but they should maximize using the rest of the roster. Anyway, Finn VS Rollins was an awesome main event, but I figured Rollins would win. There’s just so much heat for the Elimination Chamber with Rollins, McIntyre and Punk all in there, and even with Logan Paul given Rollins and Logan feuded going into Mania 39. Plus, if they really wanted to, Finn’s loss could be the last straw and the others kick him out to do what they want with the faction.

My Score: 8.9/10

BREAKING NEWS for Dynamite!

While Pac goes down with an Achilles injury, The Death Riders will still defend their AEW World Trios Championships using some Freebird Rules! Jon Moxley steps in, will he, Claudio Castagnoli & Wheeler Yuta keep the reign of terror going? Or can The Opps free the trios titles from their death grip?

FTR is here!

Speaking of those titles, Dax Harwood & Cash Wheeler are here after failing to win the AEW World Trios Championships, and then brutalizing The Rated R Superstar! Adam Copeland had to be stretchered out of the arena in Philadelphia on Sunday, and FTR gets booed by Springfield, Massachusetts here tonight. Cash has a mic to say, “What happened Sunday, that wasn’t an easy decision for me. And despite what you might think, it was not premeditated. Adam Copeland has been one of my best friends, he has been my mentor, for 15 YEARS, before I even really knew Dax Harwood!”

The fans boo but Cash says the more Dax talked, the more sense he made. The more sense it made, the more it pissed Cash off, because he wanted Dax to be wrong. But Cash could feel it, he could feel that he was wrong. The more he watched the moves Cope made backstage, the more he moved against FTR’s careers, the more Cash understood that Cope only cared about Cope. Cope held FTR down! He held them down to lift himself up! So in Philly, when Cash saw Dax sitting here, Cope laying here, in that moment… It just clicked. Cash knew what had to happen, and that he’d have to be the one to do it!

The fans boo more but Cash says Cope may have trained him as a young man, but that’s all Cope ever saw! That helpless kid! And Cash is not that anymore. Cope did not respect Cash as a man! And if you disrespect him, you have to pay. FTR are living legends! They will be treated as such! Dax says he knows that it is the “cool” thing to do, so you feel like you’re somebody, you feel like you’re involved. It’s cool to boo FTR when they talk, that’s “cool” in 2025. The fans didn’t reach their dreams, so now they make their own. But just let Dax say this one thing and then they can do this charade.

“Last week, I saw a sign in the crowd that said, ‘Why, FTR, Why?’ And as cliche as that is, I though to myself, ‘Well, why not?’ Instead of asking us why, you should be thanking us! You should be thanking us because we gave Adam Copeland everything he wanted. Adam Copeland was begging for relevancy in 2025 at the expense of the ABSOLUTE BEST TAG TEAM IN THIS WORLD, and we gave it to him!” The fans chant, “You Sold Out!” and Dax asks back, “How did I sell out, you idiots? I didn’t make any money off of this.” But over the last week, Dax has been wracking his brain on what to say over what he could say to the fans and be justified.

And then it clicked! Dax doesn’t care if anyone agrees with FTR! What FTR did was right. The fans boo, but Dax says even though FTR doesn’t own anyone an explanation, let’s have fun here. They’ll run down the list. For four MONTHS, they waited. Four months, nothing to do, they were irrelevant for four months. The only thing planned for them was to be Cope’s new Edgeheads. They put FTR’s career on hold so Cope could chase his glory days and win one more world title, holding on to a sliver of hope that he might still be the man. Dax tells Adam, “We’ve won ten world titles across seven worldwide brands, and YOU want us to take a backseat to you!?

“You’re selfish! Too damn selfish to see where the issue is! And I wanted nothing more, I wanted nothing more than Adam Copeland to end his career side-by-side with FTR and ride off into the sunset. But just like every wrestler in Adam Copeland’s position, you’re TOO DAMN SELFISH!” The fans boo, Dax tells them they paid money to see him so sit down and shut up. Just work out even once, buddy! Dax understands there are a lot of people in the back not happy with FTR. And that there are some people out here not happy with them. Tony Schiavone, come on over here. The fans boo, but Dax promises Schiavone that he just wants to talk.

Nigel isn’t so sure, but Schiavone says he has things he needs to say, too. The fans are torn, but Schiavone goes to the ring. Dax tells Schiavone to be careful now, don’t fall getting in. But this week on Dynamite, Schiavone had some choice words for FTR. Funny that they were hundreds of miles away at the time. But now, face to face, would Schiavone like to say something? Schiavone says yes, and he says that they were wrong to do that to Cope. The fans cheer, Schiavone points out that when FTR arrived, the fans all loved FTR. FTR revived tag team wrestling. But in one fell swoop, they turned their backs on the man who helped them in their career.

Dax stops Schiavone there, laughing that off. So there was one other thing Schiavone said, and he doesn’t quite remember. Dax is pretty sure it had to do with Dax’s family? Yes… Schiavone says Dax’s daughter, a wonderful young lady, Straight A student… How did she feel on Monday when her friends told her that her dad turned on one of his best friends? Dax paces, and then he drags Schiavone into position! The fans boo, but Nigel stands up! FTR sees that, and the fans cheer as Nigel storms off commentary! Nigel gets in the ring to get Schiavone to safety, and he also told Schiavone he knew this would happen.

FTR warns Nigel now, but here comes Daniel Garcia! He steps to them, but FTR SHOVES him down! Then they realize what they did, and they apologize. They don’t have anything against Garcia, they’re sorry. They help Garcia stand up, then they hug Garcia…? The fans boo, and Garcia has no idea what to make of this. FTR leaves, Schiavone & Nigel go back to commentary, and Garcia makes sure Schiavone is okay. The fans cheer Garcia, Schiavone says he had to say what he said. Will the Top Guys be the absolute worst from now on?

Toni Storm speaks.

“Megan Bayne is a monster. That woman has so much thigh meat, I thought I was being mugged on Thanksgiving. Nevertheless, I don’t need to tell you that this whore you all adore, this slut you can’t rebut, this tramp is still the champ! But enough of this gay banter. The Owen Hart Cup has begun, and the winner goes on to All In: Texas for a shot at the AEW Women’s World Championship. Ladies, good luck. But this is a timeless cafe, and I’m gonna bake up the biggest batch of slop tarts you’ve ever seen! Billie Starkz, you Johnny Come Lately, milk-breathed, knobby kneed little brat. I will make a woman out of you.

“Harley Cameron. Call me Jim Henson, because I will wear you on my wrist and make you sing Rainbow Connection.” Schiavone? Toni says that’s the wrong slide, next! “Mercedes Money, our CEO. What an unfortunate nickname. I will drain your 401K and put you so deep into recession, you’ll have to drink my bath water. Kris Statlander. My God, what a woman! Athena. You may be the ROH Forever Champion, but you’ll last about two minutes with me. And Jamie Hayter, take my advice: No money has ever been made from dressing like you’re in a different era.

“And as for me, I could sit at home and watch this entire tournament eating veal parmesana, but that’s not the kind of woman I am, yet. Nevertheless, at Double or Nothing, I will be there, I will be watching, I will be sweating, and I will always be… TIMELESS~!” The champion has put all of her contenders on notice, but who will even make it out of the first round of this star-studded tournament?

2025 Women’s Owen Hart Foundation Tournament Opening Round: Jamie Hayter VS Billie Starkz!

Well, speaking of those challengers, we have two here to finally kick off the action! Hayter and Billie went a round already, but will it be a repeat performance? Or will this be a Starkz contrast from last time?

The bell rings and the fans rally. Jamie rushes Billie but Billie dodges the boot. Jamie ducks Billie’s heel kick, then shoves Billie to ropes. Billie ducks, whips, but Jamie ducks ‘n’ dodges. Billie sees the lariat coming and backs off! Jamie smirks and the fans cheer. Billie comes back, offers a handshake, but Jamie isn’t so sure. Jamie accepts, but Billie whips! Jamie ducks ‘n’ dodges, Billie drops down then HEEL KICKS! Jamie goes down in a heap, seems it isn’t just Hayter who hits hard! Jamie goes to the apron, Billie storms up, but Billie bobs ‘n’ weaves to then sweep the legs! Billie SUPERKICKS Jamie, then runs, and DIVES into a forearm!

The fans fire up and Jamie brushes off the biceps. Jamie whips Billie hard into railing, then drags her up to whip her into more- NO, Billie goes up, but Jamie catches her to TOSS her over! Billie then climbs onto the railing, and the fans fire up as Billie SWANTON BOMBS Jamie on the floor! The fans fire up and Billie hurries to put Jamie in the ring. Billie then climbs the corner and the fans rally up again. Jamie anchors a foot, Billie CLUBS Jamie, but Jamie CLUBS Billie.

Jamie climbs up after Billie, but Billie SHOVES her down! Billie adjusts, DIVING- NO, Jamie dodges the stomp! Billie blocks the kick, to KNEE her! Billie suplexes, Jamie lands out to whip! Billie bounces off buckles, and into a SPIENBUSTER! Cover, TWO! Billie is tougher than that but Jamie stomps her around. Jamie bumps Billie off buckles, digs her boots in, then hits a snap suplex! Billie writhes, Jamie covers, ONE!! Jamie kneels on Billie’s head, then steps off. Billie flounders, Jamie drags her up, but Billie fires hands! Jamie throws Billie by her hair! The ref reprimands but the fans cheer while Billie goes to the apron.

Jamie kicks Billie to the floor, then mockingly counts really fast, but Collision goes picture in picture.

Jamie applauds, but the ref says his count isn’t even close to over. Jamie goes out to fetch Billie, then SMACKS Her off the apron! Jamie puts Billie in the ring, then clamps on a chinlock. Billie endures as Jamie grinds her down. Billie fights up, fires body shots, but Jamie CLUBS her down. Jamie drags Billie up, bumps her off buckles again and again and again, and again and again and again, and again and again and again! Jamie finally stops as the ref counts 4, and Billie is in a daze. Jamie whips Billie corner to corner hard, then storms up to fire forearms. Jamie ROCKS Billie and she sits down. Jamie digs her boots in, but the ref counts.

Jamie steps off, then drags Billie up. Jamie whips Billie corner to corner again, then runs up, but Billie BOOTS her away! Billie HEEL- NO, Jamie blocks that kick! Jamie steps over to power Billie down into the HALF CRAB! Collision returns to single picture as Billie endures! Billie powers up, reaches out, and the fans rally as she fights forward! Billie rolls and sends Jamie into buckles! Billie hobbles, runs back in, but Jamie dodges! Billie ELBOWS Jamie, BOOTS her, then goes up, but Jamie stops the boot! Billie rebounds to ENZIGIRI! Billie sweeps the legs and deadlift GERMAN SUPLEXES! Bridging cover, TWO!

The fans fire up as Jamie stays in this, and Billie slaps herself to focus again. Billie snarls, drags Jamie up, and Billie suplexes. The fans fire up, Jamie kisses the bicep, and she stands Billie up. SPRINGBOARD HAYT- NO, Billie ducks and backslides! ONE!! Billie suplexes, GHOSTBUSTER!! Cover, TWO?!?! Jamie survives and Billie is beside herself! The fans rally up and Billie goes back to the corner. Billie climbs, aims, and SWANTON BOMBS!! Cover, TWO!! Hayter survives again and Billie is shocked! The fans rally even harder, and Billie looks to the trophy. Billie stalks Jamie to the apron, then stomps her down.

Billie goes out to bring Jamie up, and she CLUBS her! Billie ROCKS Jamie, reels her in, but Jamie fights the lift! Jamie lifts Billie, Billie fights that! Jamie HEADBUTTS Billie, and Billie holds onto the ropes. Jamie reels Billie in, SUPLEX TO THE FLOOR! Springfield goes nuts while both women are down! The ref checks and both women are somehow still in this. The ring starts, “This is Awesome!” as both women stir at 4 of 10. Jamie rises up at 7, Billie at 8, and both women spring in at 9! The fans fire up as this continues! Billie and Jamie rise up again, and Jamie ROCKS Billie! Billie comes back to ROCK Jamie!

Jamie comes back to ROCK Billie, but Billie fires a flurry! Billie winds up, but Jamie SUPERKICKS! And ENZIGIRIS! Jamie whips, clinches, but Billie stuffs it! Jamie powers through to HATE BREAKER!! And then HAYTERADE!! Cover, Jamie wins!

Winner: Jamie Hayter, by pinfall (advances to the next round)

Billie put on another incredible fight, but it was still not enough to reach that next level! Hayter Hits Hard, but will she have to hit even harder going up against Kris Statlander?

The Death Riders speak.

Claudio Castagnoli says, “When we started this war, we fully expected casualties. But we do not mourn, because only in death does duty end. Now, we’re not gonna hide. We’re still gonna be front and center! So  Joe, yes, we’re gonna accept that challenge!” Claudio rants in German, then says at Spring Breakthru, it’s on. They do not concede territory! Marina Shafir holds up Pac’s belt, and Moxley says, “What a learning experience this will be for generational punk ass play wrestlers who don’t wanna show up to work. There’s plenty of money, championships, glory, victory, and it’s all on the frontline.

“If you want it, that’s where you gotta be. You gotta step in, step up, put yourself in harm’s way. Samoa Joe, Shibata-san, you guys know that. What’re you teaching sweet young Hook? Hook… Don’t worry. Relax. It’s the biggest match of your life. But trust me… Chicks dig scars.” Wheeler Yuta smirks, and shows his scar. Will the Death Riders find The Opps are in fact lacking?

Lexy Nair finds Cash & Dax on their way out and asks for a moment. After what they did to Cope- Wait, 2Point0 barges in! Matt Menard & Angelo Parker excuse Lexy, and they say FTR must think they’re pretty slick. They’ve got the wool pulled over Danny’s eyes. Just last night for NJPW Windy City Riot, The Alpha just went toe-to-toe with The Ace, Hiroshi Tanahashi, as part of the Ace Final Road series. And as big as that moment was, this could be even bigger! Konosuke wants to fulfill Don Callis’ prophecy of a “Proto-shita” finals at Double or Nothing, will he be one step closer to realizing that dream match? My Thoughts:

A great, maybe even awesome episode of Collision here. Even with things being mostly obvious results, it was all top level stuff. Knight VS Fox was great stuff to help keep Knight sharp in AEW. Best of the Super Juniors starts in May, so he’s got about another month where he will still be hanging in AEW, Knight can surely get a couple more wins before going back to Japan for that tournament. Gates of Agony of course won their match, but I like that they called out the Hurt Syndicate. I feel like they won’t win the title match with them, but it’s good to see the Gates finally moving up to this level and not just languishing in ROH.

Great match from Bowens VS Blake, and a great win for Bowens. Very good promo from Bowens, I’m sure he’ll get more wins and maybe even go for a title. Well, depending on where the different midcard belts are going, Bowens might have to wait a minute, given the tease of Omega VS Okada as of late. Good promo from the Death Riders as they have adjust after Pac gets injured. At the same time, Hook should be alright from the dizziness and possible concussion, as nothing has been said further. Death Riders VS Opps for the trios titles will be great stuff, but even doing it for a themed episode doesn’t make me think Death Riders lose. It’d be nice if they did, though…

Good Heel promo from FTR, though it didn’t say much more than Dax did passive aggressively a couple weeks ago: Cope kept FTR from what FTR wanted, which glosses over how The Death Riders kinda got at them, too; and the loss at Dynasty was just the last straw. Them threatening Schiavone & Nigel was a nice touch, as was getting Garcia into the story given he teamed with them against Undisputed Kingdom. Menard & Parker stepping up for Garcia was good, and wow did Menard bleed for that match. FTR of course win, and then them brutalizing 2Point0 to bring out Undisputed Kingdom (well, I guess they’re trying Paragon, since Schiavone mentioned that) was good, too.

Dax & Cash are tag guys so they won’t bother with the TNT Championship, but I could see them taking on Roddy & Kyle one more time, then we’d get Dax & Cash VS Cole & Garcia. At least, maybe? Just something that’ll help FTR get back up and maybe go for tag titles.  Megan beating two opponents at once was a good way to step things up in her rebound from Dynasty. I wonder if she’ll keep doing that until running into some new rival. I say that as it seems we won’t be getting her and Toni Storm in a rematch.

Toni Storm had a great promo to call out all the remaining Women’s Owen Hart Cup entries, but I find it interesting that she had no quip for Kris, just a compliment. Makes me wonder if Kris is destined to win the tournament and go to All In with Toni. And of course, great stuff in all of the Owen Hart Cup matches. Jamie VS Billie was a great rematch, but I shouldn’t be surprised Jamie wins again. Jamie VS Kris will be great stuff to lead into Double or Nothing. Then, great stuff from Athena VS Harley, certainly one of Harley’s better matches. But at the same time, of course Athena won to face Mone. Good promo from Mone to call Athena out, their match is going to be awesome, hard to say who wins that.

Konosuke VS Brody was also great, definitely a great main event. Of course Konosuke won. He’s NEVER Openweight Champion, the Don Callis Family keeps their idea of All Don Callis Family alive a little longer, and Konosuke VS Ospreay is going to be awesome stuff. I still think Ospreay wins and meets Kyle in the main event, but I suppose that still depends on how Hangman VS Wild Card goes.

My Score: 8.9/10

PLAY BY PLAY

Nick Aldis is in the ring.

The fans already chant for “RANDY! RANDY!” while the SmackDown General Manager says, “Ladies and gentlemen, last week on SmackDown, we witnessed a number of important moments, a number of memorable moments, a number of viral moments. Well, folks, I’m here to address one moment in particular. I wonder if you can guess which one that is.” The fans cheer, and Aldis says he has been instructed to “maintain my professionalism,” so he will do just that. With that said, Aldis would like to invite out Randy Orton. The fans cheer that, and then here comes The Viper! Seattle sings along with Voices as Orton goes to the ring.

The fans again cheer on “RANDY! RANDY!” while he looks up at the WrestleMania sign. Orton has a mic, and he tells Aldis, “I can tell by the look in your eyes, Nick, that you took last week very, very personally. Now hear me out, you can’t expect me to believe that you didn’t see yourself eating an RKO at some time in your future after last year, a year or so ago, the same thing happened. I paid a fine, and what’d I do, Nick? I paid double on that fine in case something like last week would happen again. It happened again, I paid in advance, and I think that we are even.

“The reason why I really wanted to speak to you, Nick, is because of the fact that there is not a match on the table at WrestleMania 41 for me.” The fans boo that, but Orton tells Aldis, “This is a very important WrestleMania for me. This will be my 20th time competing at WrestleMania. I need this to happen. I need you to do your job, I need you to make me an opponent. And I can guarantee you that I will be in Vegas. I will be all warmed up, ready to go, I will have my gear on, and I need you to give me a match. I don’t care what it takes. Maybe you lose the suit for a night and you gear up, too?” The fans like that idea!

Orton says whatever it is, he needs a match at Mania. Aldis asks if Orton really thinks this is about the money, about that 100 grand. Aldis knows Orton knows that WWE is doing record business, and Orton is a major part of that. Aldis is fortunate to be part of that. He busted his ass for 20 YEARS just to be here in this company. The fans are a bit torn on that, but Aldis says he doesn’t need Orton’s money, he needs Orton’s respect. The fans chant “R K O! R K O!” Orton says Aldis needs his respect, but funny enough, he’s got it. But if Aldis doesn’t deliver on a match for Orton next week, he can’t promise he’ll apologize to Mickie James for what he’s gonna do.

The fans are intrigued, but then Solo Sikoa makes his way out here?! Solo has Tama Tonga by his side, and a mic in hand. Solo tells Mr. Aldis, “Can you please tell Randy to get outta the ring, stop embarrassing himself. Okay? Don’t nobody wanna hear you cry, Randy. ‘Oh, I’m not going to WrestleMania~! I don’t have a match!’ WHO GIVES A CRAP!?” The fans boo but Solo says it is over for Orton! And does he know why? Because he’s the past. And next week, LA Knight is going to end up in the same boat as Orton. Because at WrestleMania, the Samoan Werewolf, Jacob Fatu, is walking out as the NEW United States Champion!

And Orton…? Orton will be sitting at home all alone. Orton says he’ll be “all alone?” That’s funny. What’s funnier is that Solo has the balls, him and “YEYEYEYE” Tama combined, to come out here and interrupt Orton while he’s talking. While Orton is, for the first time in his career, being diplomatic about business. The balls! The voices have been knocking, and the fans know why! He has all this pent up aggression! So what they’re saying now is for Solo & Tama to get in this ring so Orton can show how to whoop two Samoans’ asses! Seattle is all fired up, but Solo & Tama do go to the ring. Orton watches, then he CLOBBERS Tama!

Solo gets in, Orton fires kicks and UPERCUTS! Tama steps in but gets caught! Only for Solo to CLUB Orton! The fans boo as Tama & Solo mug Orton in the corner! But here comes LA KNIGHT! YEAH!! The US Champion fires hands on Tama, but then Solo storms up! Knight gives Solo some shots, too! Orton gets Tama, and now Orton and Knight take it to the rogues! Knight BOOTS Solo out, Orton UPPERCUTS Tama! Solo & Tama regroup outside, but Solo has Tama stand down. Knight grabs a mic to say, “Again, and again, and again, it’s the same damn thing with you guys! But I tell you what, you speakin’ my name? NAH NAH!

“You talking about WrestleMania? I hope your boy, Jacob, is watching, cuz what I just did is I took my name outta your mouth, and I put my fist in it! YEAH!” The fans fire up, and Knight says he knows Orton didn’t get enough. Knight knows Knight didn’t get enough! So if they can’t get it, then if they’ve got a tingle in their loins, it is them two and these two! Aldis, how do you feel about that? He does feel good about that! The fans like it, too! Knight says that’s a YEAH! That means y’all gonna fall to the Viper and the Mega Star, with everybody saying, “L! A! KNIGHT! YEAH!!” Then will there be a BFT and an RKO in Solo’s near future?

Liv Morgan & Raquel Rodriguez are ringside.

The WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions, aka the leading ladies of Judgment Day, are here to watch as six other teams battle for their one shot at these titles! Who will defy the odds to then go on to WrestleMania?

Liv & Raquel are no longer happy as the “not a real team” just won this gauntlet by going wire to wire! But Bayley & Lyra aren’t backing down, will they take those titles at WrestleMania?

Charlotte Flair attacked Tiffany Stratton in the parking lot!

Caught on film by a fan, The Queen’s apparent response to last week’s comments is to try and end #TiffyTime before WrestleMania! Charlotte has since been escorted off the property, suspended for the night. How violent is the WWE Women’s Championship match going to get with tensions running this high?

Damian Priest is here!

Seattle fires up for The Archer of Infamy as he makes his way to the ring. The news went out today that Priest and Drew McIntyre will have a WrestleMania match, and it will be a Sin City Street Fight! WAIT, McIntyre attacks Priest from behind! McIntyre throws Priest around, then throws down fists! McIntyre DRIBBLES Priest off the LED board again and again! Producers, referees, and security rush out here, and the one-eyed Scottish Terminator grins as he lets off of Priest. The fans are torn while Priest is helped to his feet. Priest can barely stand but security helps him to the back while McIntyre just watches from the ring.

McIntyre grabs a mic to ask, “Are we starting to see clearly now? Society only moves as fast as its slowest member, and it took a few people awhile to catch up. But everybody can see as plain as day, Drew McIntyre only tells the truth, and every action is justified! Including dropping his stupid ass!” The fans are torn, but McIntyre storms around some more. “That parasite has benefitted every time I was screwed. He would never face me like a man, until this week, when he agreed to face me face to face cuz I’ve got one eye. Then he challenged me to a match at WrestleMania! A Sin City Street Fight, cuz I’ve got one eye!

“And y’know what? I still accepted, cuz that’s the kind of man that Drew McIntyre is!” The fans are torn on that, but McIntyre says this is a match a year in the making. Priest wants to live forever? Well, McIntyre will make it so no one forgets Priest, because he’ll give Priest the beating of a lifetime at WrestleMania! There is more! Seattle, you wanna know a little secret? They do! “Wolverine here’s got some good news.” McIntyre takes off the eye patch, he’s just fine! McIntyre says he’s 100% cleared, and that means at WrestleMania, Priest is 100% screwed! But speaking of, Priest storms his way back out! Security wants him to stop, but he just CLOBBERS them all!

Priest runs to the ring, and he CLOBBERS McIntyre! The fans fire up as Priest throws hands, then he puts McIntyre in the ring for more! McIntyre shoves Priest, Priest dodges and LARIATS! Priest then runs and ELBOWS McIntyre in a corner! Then he LARIATS McIntyre up and out of the ring! Priest goes out, brings McIntyre up, and SMACKS him off the steps! Producers and refs get in there, but Priest tells them to back off! McIntyre CLAWS Priest’s eyes! McIntyre grabs the steel steps and pulls them apart! He CLOBBERS Priest with them! Priest is down, refs and producers step in, but fans are losing their minds over that impact!

McIntyre seethes, and he pushes people aside to get Priest up! McIntyre brings Priest to the steps, underhooks, FULL METAL FUTURE SHOCK!!! Double-edged but McIntyre just feeds off that pain! McIntyre looms over Priest, looks him in his glossy eyes, and yanks away Priest’s necklace! McIntyre holds up the Rosario, is McIntyre going to pray he can do this all again in Sin City?

DIY critique last week’s match.

Johnny Gargano points out when Tommaso Ciampa’s head hits bare steel. That is an illegal use of turnbuckle, back and to the left, DIY got screwed! Gargano blames Charles Robinson the referee, he blames Nick Aldis, he blames everybody else! Ciampa says all those guys are just puppets! DIY is NOBODY’S puppet! This is all a CONSPIRACY!  A conspiracy to screw DIY out of the titles! Pretty Deadly watches this, they whisper, but they “agree” that DIY is absolutely… out of their minds! Since losing the titles, DIY has gone crazy! Ciampa asks if they’re blind! Are they not seeing what they’re seeing!? Back and to the left!

Elton Prince says just look at all this. They’ve stepped in a rabbit hole. Desperation is not a good look on DIY. Kit Wilson says for them, #NoBoy. They head out, and Motor City Machine Guns step in. Chris Sabin asks if they heard the word, “Conspiracy.” DIY is ridiculous. But keep coping, because while DIY is worried about last week, MCMG is focused on next week. MCMG gets their shot on WrestleMania Eve SmackDown against The Street Profits. Alex Shelley says they worked their asses off to get here, they won the tag titles in three weeks, only for DIY to screw MCMG out of them, so no… No conspiracy, this is karma.

MCMG heads out, DIY continues to obsess, but will the only truth be that MCMG and The Profits are going to bring the smoke?

Rey Fenix VS Berto w/ Legado del Fantasma!

The Immortal Firebird made his WWE debut last week, but not everyone was impressed by the elite level of lucha libre Fenix put on display. However, if Berto is to impress Santos Escobar, he’ll have to do this alone as Santos y Angel are heading back to the back! Will Berto show his own impressive lucha libre? Or will he learn what it is to #ANIMO?

SmackDown returns as Fenix makes his entrance. The bell rings and the two circle. The fans rally, the two tie up, and Berto headlocks. Fenix powers  up but Berto holds on tight. Berto pursues, eggs the fans on, then he storms up to GAMANGIRI Fenix against barriers!

Fenix sputters, but Berto looms over him. Berto drags Fenix up, puts him in the ring, then covers, TWO! Berto clamps onto Fenix’s arms for a motorcycle stretch. Fenix endures, fights around, but Berto just powers him back down. Fenix still fights, fires body shots, but Berto ROCKS him! Berto whips, Fenix KICKS, and Fenix runs, only for Berto to scoop and BACKBREAKER! Cover, TWO! Fenix stays in this and Berto grows frustrated. Berto paces, then he scuffs Fenix. Winner: Rey Fenix, by pinfall

Two weeks in a row, two fast ‘n’ furious matches in a row, and Fenix is on a hot streak! Santos returns to help Berto to his feet. Santos says that’s alright, but now he sees what Fenix is all about. Santos shows Fenix respect by helping him to his feet. Fenix is wary about this, but Santos wants Berto to shake Fenix’s hand. Berto does that, though rather reluctantly. Los Garza storms off, Santos shakes Fenix’s hand, but are there strings attached to The Emperor of Lucha showing respect?

Backstage interview with Roxanne Perez.

Byron Saxton is outside Nick Aldis’ office as he talks with The Prodigy. What exactly brings Roxie to SmackDown tonight? She says since Ava Raine won’t give her an answer on Stand & Deliver next Saturday, Roxie is taking things into her own hands. As the runner-up to this year’s Women’s Royal Rumble, Roxie would gladly compete for the WWE Women’s Championship, seeing as how she’s a real professional. Roxie is 23 years old and ready to steal the show, as clearly Tiffany Stratton can’t handle the pressure. But Tiffany storms in and asks if Roxie is seriously talking trash. Roxie should be the last person to do that.

The way Tiff sees it, Roxie could learn something from her. Uh, what could Roxie possibly learn? How to put on a fake little “helpless Tiffy” act? Roxie saw through Tiff before, and she knows Tiff’s true colors. Let’s just hope it doesn’t cost Tiffy the title. Well at least Tiff’s not the one coming to SmackDown begging for a match. Roxie says she’ll gladly watch Charlotte rip Tiff’s little Barbie head off. Aldis steps out of his office and wants them to calm down. Roxie will gladly take Tiffy on before Charlotte does. Tiff says if Roxie wants a fight, then Tiff will gladly share the spotlight Roxie so desperately wants, tonight! Right, Nick!?

Aldis says hold on. It has been quite a day. He will consider it. But in the meantime, they both need to cool off. Tiff storms off, Roxie mockingly waves tootles. Will we get Princess Tiffy VS Prodigy Roxie this close to WrestleMania Weekend?

WWE takes a look at the friendship of CM Punk and Paul Heyman.

They first met back in 2005, when Punk first walked into OVW. The Wise Man knew that Punk wasn’t the “next [insert name here],” he was the first CM Punk. He knew even then that “This was the guy.” And once the fans saw it, the whole game would change. Punk knows he owes his whole career to Heyman. The Paul Heyman Guy would becoming WWE Champion, prove he was Best in the World, and everything else Heyman predicted. Heyman has been a friend, teacher, mentor, brother even, and Heyman says he admires Punk more than anyone else in this entire industry. But then in 2013, Punk felt he had to leave.

Punk guarded himself from a lot of people he met and became friends with in the WWE, and Heyman was no exception. And after 10 years away (a few of those years in another company), it was the second coming of the Second City Saint. WarGames, the WrestleMania main event Triple Threat, and now the favor… These two are back together again, whether Roman Reigns or Seth Rollins like it or not. But we also saw how Rollins almost ended that all just last Monday Night Raw. How will the Visionary saying Heyman owes him something derail Punk’s WrestleMania moment?

Chelsea Green checks on the Secret Her-vice.

They’re in medical, and she shouts through the door that she needs them to get better right now because she is literally about to wrestle up next. Zelina Vega smiles as she walks by, and mocks the tears. Zelina says the gauntlet match was so hard on Chelsea’s girls. Now she’ll have to do this all on her own like a grown-up! What’s she ever gonna do? Well, time to see what kind of champion Chelsea really is. Bye~! Zelina makes her way to gorilla, Chelsea panics and says she needs Piper & Alba, no matter what condition they’re in! Is The Green Administration about to fall apart at the seams?

Chelsea Green VS Zelina Vega!

SmackDown returns as Chelsea makes her entrance, alone. The bell rings and Chelsea throws her puffy skirt at Zelina! Chelsea TACKLES Zelina, throws down hands, then dribbles Zelina off the mat! Chelsea lets off to shout for Piper & Alba, but they’re not coming. Zelina rolls Chelsea up, TWO! Chelsea DROPKICKS Zelina down! Zelina tumbles out, Chelsea pursues, and THROWS Zelina into the barriers! Chelsea drags Zelina up, fireman’s carries, and SNAKE EYES Off the desk! Chelsea puts Zelina in the ring, shouts for her security detail, but the ring count is climbing! But it’s TEN as Chelsea slides in! Zelina wins!!

Winner: Zelina Vega, by count-out

The fans boo, but Chelsea is angriest of all! She let her anger get the better of her, and now she’s lost! Zelina says next time, it’s for the title! Will we have a change of administrations in the near future?

Legado regroups backstage.

Santos tells Angel that he cannot say this enough! That was the kind of performance he needs out of Legado! But Berto, you said Fenix was a flash in the pan, and a flying lizard? All Santos has to say right now, he’s extremely disappointed in Berto. Santos tells Angel that they’re going to go find Fenix and properly congratulate him on a job well done. Angel pats his cousin on the shoulder, but he follows Santos. But then Andrade steps in and he tells Berto that was a good match. Andrade offers a handshake, but Berto doesn’t take it. Andrade knows Berto is upset. Fenix is a great wrestler, but so is Berto!

Andrade says Berto has heart, so he should keep his head up and be proud. Berto tells Andrade to mind his own business. Berto storms off, but could El Idolo be right about Santos not appreciating his team?

Naomi speaks.

“Leech. Scum. Opportunist. There are so many words that describe you, Jade. But the one word that fits you to the core, is snake. Had I not pushed you off that ledge and onto that windshield, HAHAHAHAHAHA…! I know that it would’ve eventually been me. Once I got you out my way, I took my rightful place as champion. Bianca and I grew an even stronger friendship. But now that you’re back, Bianca won’t even LOOK at me! But it’s okay. Because there’s no more of this fake loyalty. I’m doing what’s best for me, and I’m gonna get mine. At WrestleMania, I strongly advise you to proceed with caution.”

Jade Cargill responds.

“Naomi, you thought that you could weather the storm by ducking ‘n’ dodging me. But now, the moment is here. Time has run out. I’m not just angry. I’m pissed. You came at me because you thought you knew what was best for me? You don’t. You tried to take me out because of your own insecurities. Lemme ask you this: What happens to a star when it starts to fade? They try to steal the shine from someplace else. That is what this is about. The Glow is fading. And Naomi, you’re trying to stay relevant in each and every way. That is what this all is about. You were jealous that I came in with so much star power, so much aura, so much glow.

“And this WrestleMania, I’m not a rookie anymore. I’m your biggest threat. Because a storm is coming.” Jade and Naomi have drawn the battlelines, who will survive when they put it all on the line?

Cody Rhodes is here.

Awaiting him in the ring are various iterations of THE WWE Championship, from the earliest blue leather strap, to the “Winged Eagle,” to the Undisputed WWE Championship of the early 2000s, to even the Spinner Belt that John Cena first created… The fans sing along with Cody’s song, “WHOA~ OH~!” and Cody gets his pyro. Cody continues to the ring, he high-fives the front row, and “WHOA~ OH~!” we get the second pyro. Cody steps into the ring with his Undisputed WWE Championship, then places it on a pedestal in the center. Cody picks up a mic while the fans cheer, and Cody gets the fans to get a bit louder.

The fans sing “CODY! CODY RHODES~!” and Cody revels in it. Cody then says the fans have him all flustered. He thanks Seattle, they’ve always been good to him. Whether it is the sold out arena here tonight, or when Cody was in Defy. “Now, this is the tangible definition of realized potential. It is the denotation of excellence, the metric that stands. This right here (the current Undisputed WWE Championship) simply says, ‘You are the best wrestler in the world.'” The fans cheer that! Cody says he is blessed to be able to carry this and its mighty weight. But it won’t always be Cody. That is what WrestleMania has become.

This is not just a match between two men. It is about the right to keep this title at home. It is about the next 20 champions. Whether that is one of Shawn Michaels’ NXT kids watching WrestleMania intently, or WWE ID talents! Maybe there’s a young man in Seattle here tonight, wanting to grow up and wear this one day! It is about those champions! Then there is one man trying to take all of that away. The fans boo, because that man is John Cena. The fans duel, “Let’s Go, Cena!” “CENA SUCKS!” Cody continues by saying, “John Cena has neglected to make Seattle part of his farewell tour.” The fans boo that!

Cody says Cena will be on SmackDown for Las Vegas. It would be cowardice on Cody’s part to rebuttal Cena’s remarks from London. One thing Cena said that stuck with Cody is that Cena referred to the placement of Cody’s tattoo. Cena claimed that Cody’s neck tattoo makes him a “common fan.” The fans boo that, but Cody says, “So what?” Cody has this tattoo for the same reason he wears the suit. It isn’t because Cody thinks he’s somebody, it is because Cody wants to BE somebody! Cody goes down the line with the titles now. “Is that somebody who can sell out the world’s most famous arena 188 times to the rhythmic chants of his own name?

“Is that somebody who can sit up each and every night, even with broken ribs, and become WWE’s Phenom? Is that somebody who can set the world ablaze with Latino Heat?” The fans chant “EDDIE! EDDIE!” but then Cody comes to the Spinner Belt… “Or is that somebody who can carry a company on his back through good times and bad for 10 years? John Cena… John Cena looks at this and considers it a bad thing. I don’t. I see it as a man who was trying to break the wheel. A man who was trying to find himself. Does that sound familiar?” Cody brings up how Cena claims Cody doesn’t know himself, doesn’t present himself authentically.

“Here’s what I do know, John: I’m the WWE Champion and you are not!” The fans cheer that! Cody says Cena is always teaching and preaching. Maybe this is the one time Cody can teach Cena something. Something that Cody saw his father, Dusty, struggle with as a career Babyface, and it is very simple. “John, they are allowed to love somebody else. Hell, I call myself the Captain here, but I’m part of a roster that has CM Punk, Randy Orton, Jey Uso, Rhea Ripley, Liv Morgan, AJ Styles, Kevin Owens, Sami Zayn, just to name a few! We make each other better!” The fans fire up for that! Cody says he found himself with the unenviable task, but it is in his nature to want that task.

Cody has to halt history with Cena’s record setting title win so that we can have history at all. Cena is a man of his word. Cena says he’s leaving, he means it. He says he’ll take the title into retirement, he means it. So here’s some honesty from Cody. Cody will tell Cena the same things he told Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns: “I do my best work when I’m backed into a corner. I don’t flinch, I fight, I wrestle. That’s right, John, the bell is gonna ring! And when it does, and this is over, I leave you to this ring to have your moment. Your moment to say goodbye.

“It would be clever for me to tell John, ‘Your time is up, my time is now.’ But John, you’ve known your time is up for quite some time, and that’s why you did what you did. And one day, MY time will be up soon. But until then, this is timeless. And THIS stays home. This stays with US!” The fans cheer as Cody holds up the title. Will nothing, not even a desperate and angry John Cena, stop Cody now?

Backstage interview with The Street Profits.

Byron Saxton is with Montez Ford & Angelo Dawkins and brings up that next week, WrestleMania Eve SmackDown, they defend their WWE Tag Team Championships against Motor City Machine Guns. How are the Profits feeling about that showdown? Ford says Profits, Motor City, Vegas, WrestleMania Weekend. They like MCMG. But they saw that video where MCMG said they don’t care about the gold jewelry, the checks, the grills, the reality shows. But quite frankly, you can’t care about things that you don’t have. But what else don’t they have? These titles.

Dawkins says MCMG has been all over the world, 20 years, but save the congratulations for the “IWC glazers.” Because the Profits run this division! But then The Miz & Carmelo Hayes step in. Melo says, “Run this division? Y’all run this division into the ground. Yeah, MCMG, they road warriors. Y’all gassing them up. You wanna talk about a real road warrior? Let’s talk about The Miz!” Ford & Dawkins chuckle, but Miz asks if someone said a joke. Because the only joke he sees is the tag division being headed by these two clowns! Melo wants Miz to calm down but Miz says no, let him cook!

As talented as The Profits are, the mere fact those titles aren’t on WrestleMania is a slap in the face to every superstar that has held those titles, including Miz! Miz is a NINE-TIME Tag Team Champion! Time to put The Profits on notice and revive this tag division! Miz wants number ten, and he has the hottest prospect by his side! A true one-of-one, Carmelo Hayes! Together, they are Melo Don’t Miz, and they are AWES-H1M! And they most definitely want the smoke. Ford has Dawkins hold back. The Profits are focused on MCMG next week, but will they be seeing Miz & Melo soon enough?

Tiffany Stratton VS Roxanne Perez!

From words being thrown last week to fists being thrown before the show even began, it has been quite the week for the WWE Women’s Champion. But will she show this is still #TiffyTime? Or will The Prodigy prove she’s ready to do more than just stand and deliver?

SmackDown returns and Roxie makes her entrance. The bell rings, Roxie shoves Tiff, but Tiff shoves back. Tiff blocks the slap, but Roxie pulls hair! Roxie has Tiff in the corner, the ref counts, but Roxie lets off at 4. Tiff shoves Roxie down! Roxie gets up, Tiff headlocks, but Roxie pulls hair again. Roxie powers up and out, but Tiff runs her over! Tiff says it’s still her time, then runs, but she cartwheels over Roxie’s dropdown. Then she goes Matrix to avoid the lariat! Roxie rolls to headscissor and roll-up! TWO, and Roxie headlocks. Tiff powers up and out, but Roxie throws her down by her hair! The ref reprimands but things keep moving.

Tiff drops down but now Roxie cartwheels over. And Roxie SLAPS Tiff! The fans boo, but Roxie takes a bow. Tiff smiles, then SLAPS Roxie! Tiff THROWS Roxie down by her hair, arm-drags her around, then kicks low. Tiff reels Roxie in, the fans duel, and Tiff asks, “What time is it?” Snap suplex time! Tiff stomps Roxie, drags her up, and snap suplexes again! Cover, TWO! Roxie is tougher than that but Tiff stalks her to the ropes. Tiff drags Roxie in, Roxie grabs the apron skirt! The ref reprimands, Roxie lets go, and the ref fixes the skirt, allowing for Roxie to CLAW Tiff’s eyes! Roxie then POSTS Tiff! Tiff falls to the apron but Roxie goes out after her!

Roxie bends Tiff’s arm against a crossbar, then STOMPS! Tiff clutches her elbow and the fans boo, but Roxie says, “That’s how The Prodigy does it!” Roxie grins while SmackDown goes picture in picture.

Roxie storms after Tiff, puts her in the ring, then grabs the bad arm. Roxie wrenches the arm, THROWS Tiff down, then drops a KNEE on the elbow! Tiff clutches her arm, Roxie talks trash, and Roxie CLUBS Tiff down. Roxie grabs the bad arm, wrenches it, then UPPERCUTS! Roxie wrenches and whips Tiff to a corner, runs up and UPPERCUTS! Roxie wrenches and wrangles Tiff for a RUSSIAN LEG SWEEP! Cover, TWO! Roxie keeps on Tiff by twisting the wrist and pulling on the arm! Tiff endures, Roxie mockingly claps using Tiff’s hand, then Roxie YANKS on the arm! Cover, TWO! Tiff toughs it out and goes to ropes.

Roxie storms up on Tiff, CHOKES her on the ropes, but stops as the ref counts. Roxie drags Tiff around, pushes her onto the ropes, then CHOKES her again! The ref counts, Roxie jumps to STOMP Tiff down! Roxie stalks Tiff, drags her around and wrenches the arm. Roxie hammerlocks then NORTHERN LIGHTS! Cover, TWO! Tiff stays in this but Roxie stays on her, and she YANKS the arm again! Roxie pulls on the arm but Tiff still endures. Tiff fights up, stacks Roxie, TWO! And it’s back to the straight armbar! Tiff fights up again, stacks, and deadlifts Roxie for a POWERBOMB! Both women are down, but Tiff crawls to the far side.

Tiff shakes out the bad arm while SmackDown returns to single picture. Tiff runs up to LARIAT Roxie! And LARIAT again! The fans fire up as Tiff handsprings corner to corner for a BACK ELBOW! Roxie sputters, Tiff whips, and SPINEBSUTER! High stack, TWO! Roxie stays in this but Tiff stays focused. Tiff drags Roxie up, reels her in, band manages a Canadian Rack! Roxie arm-drags free, then grabs the bad arm! Tiff rolls Roxie up first, TWO! Roxie runs, but into a SKY HIGH! Cover, TWO! Roxie survives again and Tiff grows frustrated. Tiff drags Roxie onto ropes, then runs, but Roxie avoids the hip attack to UPPERCUT!

Roxie THROWS Tiff down, steps on her as she goes to the corner, then she makes sure Tiff is in the right spot. Roxie goes up, LIONSAULT, but onto knees! Tiff saves herself, then goes up, up, and- NO, Roxie anchors a foot! Tiff kicks free, but Roxie climbs up to SUPER RUSSIAN LEG SWEEP! Roxie runs, HANDSPRING KNEE DROP! Cover, TWO!! Tiff survives and Roxie is furious! Roxie drags Tiff up, talks trash, then SOBATS! Roxie hops on, but Tiff pops free! Tiff then cartwheels to Alabama Lift, and she swings Roxie around, but Roxie victory rolls it! TWO, and Tiff has it, TWO! Roxie runs, tilt-o-whirls, LA MYSTICA! CROSSFACE!!

Tiffy endures, fights around, reaches out, but Roxie kicks off the ropes to turn things! But Tiff uses that to fireman’s carry! ROLLING SENTON! Tiff goes up, PRETTIEST MOONSAULT EVER!! Cover, Tiff wins!

Winner: Tiffany Stratton, by pinfall

Roxie tried to swoop in and ruin things for Tiffany, but Tiff- WAIT! CHARLOTTE FLAIR IS STILL HERE?! She drags Tiff out of the ring and THROWS her into barriers! The fans boo but Charlotte POSTS Tiff! Charlotte SLAPS Tiff, drags her up, and TOSSES her over the desk! Security rushes out here but Charlotte jumps over the desk! She shoves Wade Barrett, Wade tries to tell her this is going to get her fired! Charlotte doesn’t care, but Wade keeps her from getting after Tiff again. Charlotte instead stands on the desk again, soaking up the heat from Seattle. Will The Queen be a witch in her attempt to take back the throne?

LA Knight & Randy Orton VS Solo Sikoa & Tama Tonga!

The Mega Star & The Apex Predator got just a taste earlier tonight, and now they want to have the full course! Will Knight & Orton use the BFT and RKO to serve up an L? Or will the would-be Tribal Chief and his Good Bad Guy make the WWE United States Champion easy pickings for The Samoan Werewolf?

SmackDown returns and Knight makes his entrance to join Orton in the ring. Solo & Tama then make their entrance, and the teams sort out. Knight starts against Tama and the fans rally up. Solo distracts, Tama attacks! The fans boo as Tama fires hands, but the ref counts. Tama RAMS into Knight again and again, then backs up to taunt Orton, “YEYEYEYEYE!” Tama runs in and SPLASHES! Tag to Solo, he smirks at Orton, and Tama feeds Orton to an ELBOW! Solo drags Knight up, bumps him off buckles, then fires hands. The fans let out the Maui “CHIII-HOO~!” while Solo taunts Orton, but then Knight fires hands in return!

The fans rally as Knight ELBOWS Tama, ROCKS Solo, and repeat! Solo runs up, Knight TOSSES him out! Knight hurries for his corner, but Solo runs in! Hot tag to Orton! Solo stops cold, but then storms up anyway, only for Orton to throw hands! Orton ROCKS Solo, Solo shoves Orton, but Orton comes back to LARIAT! Solo staggers up, Orton dodge shim, and then SNAP POWERSLAM! The fans fire up, Tama returns, but he gets a SNAP POWERSLAM! Orton has Solo in the ropes, drags him out, DRAPING DDT! The fans fire up and Orton already hears the voices! Solo rises, but Tama gets in! Orton RK- NO, Tama shoves Orton into Solo’s SAMOAN DROP!

Tama BLASTS Knight, then he storms out while SmackDown goes picture in picture.

Orton tumbles out of the ring, and Solo waits inside. Tama CLOBBERS Orton, the ref reprimands, but Tama tags in. Tama drags Orton up, to LARIAT him down! Tama paces, then he drags Orton back into the ring. Tama runs to SLIDING LARIAT! Cover, TWO! Orton stays in this but Tama grabs a leg. Tama drags Orton over, tags Solo, and they split the wishbone! Orton writhes, but Solo smirks as he paces between Orton and Knight. Solo puts Orton on the ropes to CHOKE him! Solo stops to taunt Knight, and this distracts the ref so Tama can BOOT Orton down! Orton sputters, but Solo taunts him to go tag Knight.

Orton crawls, Solo SLAMS Orton’s arm off the mat, then stands him up to HEADBUTT! Orton goes to a corner, Solo fires body shots and haymakers, but Orton eggs him on! Solo rains down fists, but Orton just gets up. Orton kicks low, fires hands, then HEADBUTTS! That wasn’t smart… Orton wobbles, and Solo HEADBUTTS Orton down! Solo says that’s why you don’t headbutt a Samoan. Solo drags Orton over, tags Tama, and Tama slingshots to SENTON! “YEYEYEYE!” Tama paces around, then DIVING HEADBUTTS! Cover, TWO! Tama has Orton on the ropes, CLUBS him down, then tags Solo in.

Solo stays between Orton and Knight, drags Orton around and clamps on a chinlock. Orton endures, fights up, and he reaches out for Knight. Solo keeps Orton back, but Orton throws a haymaker! Orton reaches out, Solo keeps him back, but Orton throws another haymaker! And another! SmackDown returns to single picture as Solo desperately anchors Orton! Orton and Knight are fingertips away, but Solo UPPERCUTS Orton down! The fans rally, but Solo sucker punches Knight! The fans boo but solo mocks spelling it out. Solo clamps on a chinlock and grinds Orton down again. The fans rally and Orton rises up!

Orton stands, but Solo HEADBUTTS him in the back again and again! Solo squeezes tight, but Orton still reaches out! Knight reaches out, but Solo pulls Orton back! The fans rally even harder, but Solo HEADBUTTS Orton again! Solo holds onto the chinlock, but Orton powers up to hit a BIG back suplex! Both men are down and the fans fire up! Orton and Solo crawl, hot tags to Tama and Knight! The fans fire up as Knight rallies on Tam with LARIATS and ELBOWS, and then a RUSSIAN LEG SWEEP! Tama flounders to a corner but Knight stomps a mudhole! The ref counts, Knight stops at 4, then he runs corner to corner, KNEE WASH!

Solo is back in, but Knight dodges! Solo hits buckles, then gets a JUMP NECKBREAKER! Tama is up, but Knight scoops him for a POWERSLAM! The fans fire up as Knight spells it out! “L! A! KNIGHT! YEAH!” ELBOW DROP! Cover, Solo breaks it! SAMOAN SPIKE!! But Orton is back and he fires hands on Solo! Orton UPPERCUTS Solo outta the ring! Tama spins Orton around, but Orton RKOS first!! Orton then goes for Solo but Solo drags him out of the ring! They brawl on the outside, then into the crowd! The fans fire up as Orton CLUBS away on Solo! Solo hits back, the fight moves towards the stage!

Tama and Knight are still in the ring, the fans rally up, and both men rise up. Tama staggers into Knight, and a B F T!! Cover, Knight & Orton win!

Winners: LA Knight & Randy Orton, by pinfall

It indeed was an RKO and a BFT that served up an L to Tama & Solo, but wait! JACOB FATU slides in outta nowhere! SUPERKICK for Knight!! The fans are torn but Jacob runs to SENTON! Jacob HEADBUTTS away on Knight, then looks at the US Championship. Knight flounders to a corner, Jacob runs in and HIP ATTACKS! Jacob is geeked up and the fans fire up! Jacob has Knight down at center, and he goes to a corner! BEST MOONSAULT EVER!! The fans fire up as Jacob holds up the championship! But then he goes back up, BEST MOONSAULT EVER!! And then, as credits roll, ANOTHER BEST MOONSAULT EVER!!

Jacob Fatu brings out his usual viciousness, and Knight is sputtering for air. Will this be the scene on WrestleMania Saturday? Or can the Mega Star somehow survive the Samoan Werewolf?

My Thoughts:

A great SmackDown here, especially this close to WrestleMania. It also acts as a partial go-home with WrestleMania Eve SmackDown kicking off the huge weekend in Las Vegas. I believe the Andre the Giant Battle Royal will be that night, as has become the tradition. I really hope they actually use that to make someone into a big deal, it’s becoming more a formality than anything at this point. Good promos from the male tag teams tonight, such as DIY claiming conspiracy and Melo Don’t Miz claiming The Profits aren’t good enough as champions. Profits VS MCMG will be a great match, I just hope there isn’t interference that decides it.

The Women’s Tag Gauntlet was awesome stuff, and I’m actually surprised Lyra & Bayley won. Not only that, but that they ran the table. But at the same time, I did sense the Women’s Intercontinental Championship could be dragged into this. Liv & Raquel wanna go for the Two Woman Power Trip, I feel like a shot at Lyra’s title could be made through this story, too. The gauntlet also did a good job of plugging other stories, like Natty being upset with Maxxine and the Secret Her-vice being unable to help Chelsea. The count-out loss seems like they were trying to fit the match within the time constraints, but at least Zelina has her win.

Great promos from Naomi and Jade to hype up their grudge match, and great stuff with McIntyre turning the face-to-face into a blindside attack. Good promo from McIntyre, and I’m a bit surprised he played his hand here with the eyepatch reveal. Even so, that “Sin City Street Fight” is going to be great stuff, and it’s hard to say who wins that. Awesome match from Fenix and Berto, and that was probably Berto’s best showing in a long time. Santos praising Fenix and belittling Berto, then Andrade there to encourage Berto, this Legado story could take some intriguing turns, but I don’t see Fenix joining Legado.

They did a good job turning around last week’s awkward and even controversial worked shoot from Charlotte and Tiffany into something here tonight. Good promo and great match from Roxie and Tiffany, and a good win for Tiffany. Charlotte showing up was a given, though, even if they hadn’t played the “she was suspended” card. Charlotte gets some good Heel heat here, and presuming this is the final segment, this has to indicate that Tiffany retains at WrestleMania. And with Roxie showing up tonight, that also signals she is joining SmackDown per her call up. She’ll make a great addition to refresh the division, and maybe even go right for the top title to feud with Tiff.

Great promo segment from Cody. I really liked them putting the classic belt designs out there for Cody to use as visual aides, especially Cena’s spinner belt. Cena being here for the WrestleMania Eve SmackDown, who knows what’ll happen. Maybe we even get The Rock to really pour on the star power. Still hard to say what’ll happen in the title match, but I feel like Cena should win so that the story for the rest of the year is everyone desperately trying to get the title off Cena, even when Cena has The Rock’s backing. “Fighting against authority” has always been a strong, effective theme for WWE stories, so why not keep that going?

And of course, great stuff in both the US Championship story and the developing Orton WrestleMania match story. Good opening promo segment with Orton and Aldis to reference back to Orton paying $100,000 on a $50,000 fine. Solo & Tama coming out to confront Orton while also hyping up Knight VS Jacob was good stuff. Knight showing up to make the save was fitting, and we got a great main event tag match. Given how Orton and Solo brawled away to the back, that’s gotta be a frontrunner for the Mania match now. That’s a good match of multi-generation superstars, honestly.

Jacob having the last word with his trio of moonsaults on Knight, this might’ve been them giving away that Knight retains, but I kinda hope they go the other way. Not that Knight isn’t popular or a isn’t a good superstar, but Jacob might be on his way to equal popularity, and it’s clear he’s a better wrestler from everything he’s been doing in the ring. Plus, then there can be more tension between Jacob and Solo over who brought this title to the family and who is the alpha in the group.

My Score: 8.8/10
