One of the biggest discussions we can see in all the wrestling community is who the best wrestler in the world today, and the wrestling community has agreed that Kenny Omega, Kazuchika Okada and AJ Styles are with no doubt the top three wrestlers in all the industry.

In ring style: These three men are amazing in the ring and only a few can barely match what Omega, Okada and Styles do in the ring and the amazing thing is how different these wrestlers are to one another in terms of wrestling style. Okada has a more Traditional style and to the surprise of many he is very fast in the ring and can keep up to wrestlers like Omega, Ospreay or Tanahashi who are very fast in the ring.  Omega and Styles have a very similar style, but the key difference comes on the speed and endurance in which Omega is superior to Styles but also Omega has a bigger arsenal in comparison to Styles.

Matches: In terms of matches in the last 2 years Omega and Okada are clearly ahead of AJ Styles. Omega and Okada in their feud had four of the best matches the business has ever seen with their last encounter receiving 7 stars from Dave Metlzer and praise from all the wrestling community. Meanwhile AJ Styles because of some terrible booking by WWE’s part, Styles had terrible feuds and average matches with wrestlers like Jinder Mahal, Kevin Owens and recently with Shinsuke Nakamura. Kenny Omega in 2018 was part in one of the best tag team matches we have seen in recent years in Golden Lovers (Omega and Ibushi) Vs The Young Bucks. On the other hand Okada in 2018 had great title defenses against Naito, Sanada , Tanahashi and Omega.

Who is the best?: In my personal opinion and in a very close call I can say Kenny Omega with no doubt is currently the best wrestler in the world, He is the most complete wrestler in terms of both in ring work and charisma, the matches he had during his career with wrestlers like Okada, Ibushi and Naito, has his legacy is cemented, also something that Okada and Styles have never done is being part of comedy wrestling like Omega did earlier in his career and we can see that comedy wrestling is art really hard to master and to this day we can the benefits and experience that Kenny  having matches with Yoshihiko (blow up doll) and the 9 year old girl gave him. In a second place I would place Okada and in third Styles.
