One of the deepest feuds on WWE Monday Night Raw is the issue between Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins. Renee Young sits on the sidelines, but should she stay there?

Dean Ambrose versus Seth Rollins is the hottest feud on RAW. The former Shield brothers have feuded in the past, but this time with their roles reversed, things are getting heated.

Ambrose has played the heel part perfectly as he plays mind games with Rollins in order to break The Architect. The two men have become the highlight of RAW thanks to their rivalry, so how can it get any bigger?

Well, another person may become involved in the storyline: Ambrose’s wife Renee Young.

It’s well-known that Young and Dean are married in real life. WWE has made references to them being a couple and since Dean’s heel turn, their marriage has become a main focus of the storyline. Each week, Corey Graves asks the RAW commentator what’s going on with her husband, to which Renee responds by saying she doesn’t know anything.

The constant barrage of questioning every week has fans speculating that Renee could become involved in her husband’s feud. One theory is that Young will turn heel and become Dean’s valet, helping him win his TLC match against Seth.

Having Renee become a villain alongside her husband would be a shocking moment, but is it something that should be done?

Renee is considered WWE’s sweetheart. She has a fun personality and is very professional. Fans and fellow WWE stars love the bubbly blonde. Her talent has led her from being a backstage interviewer to a full-time commentator for RAW.

But will she be taking over a more prominent role as her husband’s manager?

Renee and Dean are a private couple, however their relationship has been chronicled on television thanks to Total Divas and Smackdown. Fans will remember that in 2016, Dean and Renee’s relationship became part of WWE television when Miz made a snide comment, which led to Renee slapping him. The two were rumored to have a mixed tag match against Miz and Maryse, but those plans were nixed.

Since then, the couple’s relationship has hardly been mentioned on television that is until Dean’s heel turn put the spotlight on Renee.

With Dean and Renee being private, they wouldn’t want their relationship to become a WWE storyline. But they’re both professionals and do what’s required of them, even if the story arc made them uncomfortable.

Personally, I feel that Renee and Dean’s marriage shouldn’t be incorporated into the Rollins feud. Yet, given how WWE loves to display a wrestler’s personal life on television, don’t be surprised if they have Renee form an alliance with her husband.

If WWE wants to involve Renee in Dean and Seth’s feud, they should have her become a heel commentator defending her husband’s actions. Renee needs to stay at the commentator’s desk and not be at ringside serving as Dean’s valet.

Going forward, it’s going to be interesting to see how Renee reacts to her husband’s actions each week. But the more questions she’s asked, the more likely it seems that she’ll be involved in Dean’s storyline in some way.
