Bradley Jay has some bad news for Wade Barrett…and plenty of opinions on WWE NXT in this week’s NXT Minus 6!

Mr. Barrett, I’ve got some bad news for you…and some good news.

6. Johnny Gargano missed a golden opportunity, a once-in-a-lifetime moment, the kind of thing that will haunt him into his old age. How in the world did we not get a No Look High 5 Second Pose??? 

5. NXT is messing with me. The History-O-Meter hit 6, but 5 of those were in the first match. This week they were shocking the world. The announcers must have a cliche generating app that tells them what to say. If you think about it, shocking the world and making history are synonymous. And if you don’t think about it, they are still synonymous.   

4. I wish Toni Storm was as good in ring as she is on the mic. I wish Santa Claus Ice Cream Bar’s character was as good as his wardrobe. Dude is mucho stylish. I wish Doomsday Saito would hurry up and Tik Tock over to RawDown. He is the modern day Ultimate Warrior, a one-trick emotional pony who looks great killing fools in a quick sprint but should not be anywhere near a match over 8 minutes. 

3. The Royal Rumble was a great match with a doo doo ending. At least 10 guys would have been better winners than Edge. Then his promo Wednesday night made his Rumble win 100% worth it. My goosebumps had goosebumps. As if Finn Balor versus Pete Dunne for the title wasn’t enough, now there’s the prospect of the winner facing Edge. I hope he does guest commentary for their Takeover match.  

2. The Dusty Classic, or 3.5 Live, is headed in the right direction. I’m giving every match this week 4.2. Great work from all involved. They want to showcase the KC Sunshine Band, but Kayden Carter deserves a singles push. Feisty, intense, easy to like. She more than held her own against Raquel Gonzalez. She has a touch of Daniel Bryan, hitting with a power and fury far bigger than her size. 

1. Now for you, Mr. Barrett. As a heel announcer, you are one of the best parts of the show. We finally have someone to help us move on from our beloved Mauro Ranallo. Your Isaac Yankum and Eddie Guerrero references were great. Your banter with Beth Phoenix sounds like sibling rivalry. The problem is you are all over the place. You’re putting over Curt Stallion and praising the faces. In one match you went from screaming at Beth to agreeing with her. Pick a lane and MAKE UP YOUR MIND!!! The world does not need another Nigel McGuinness on the mic. One of those is already too much.
