He is a humanitarian, Good Brother, and for 112 days now, he is the reigning, and some say greatest AEW World Champion of all time… He is KENNY, OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMEEEEGAAAAA~!”

Winner: Kenny Omega, by pinfall (Sydal does NOT get a world title match)

Don Callis says, “No shame in losing to the greatest wrestler of all time!” Sydal could not beat the Best Bout Machine, making their all-time series 3-0. Will Sydal ever make it to that same level?

Backstage interview with The Dark Order, and Hangman Page.

John Silver is all fired up for his TNT Championship match with Darby Allin in tonight’s main event! Is he ready? Oh does it look like he’s not ready? Evil Uno wants Silver to show everyone how ready the Dark Order is! Trust fall! Alex Reynolds is caught with ease, then Stu Grayson! Alan Angels, not so much. Luckily there’s a plush leather couch right behind them. Silver talks with Hangman and Hangman asks if Silver’s nervous. No, he’s not nervous. He’s Johnny Hungy! Alright, great. This is a big night for Silver, but he shouldn’t worry. They’ll be proud of Silver either way. Hangman wishes Silver luck, and Silver is even more fired up!

As for Hangman, he’s heading out for his own match, will he be just as ready for the Brazilian Beefcake?

Hangman Page VS Cezar Bononi w/ Ryan Nemeth & JD Drake!

The Cowboy is ready to get back on the horse, as it were! Will he make big strides back towards a title opportunity? Or will “Pretty” Peter Avalon’s stallion be a muscular roadblock on Hangman’s road to redemption?

With that, the Cowboy is now 8-0 in 2021! He cheers with a beer, then heads out. Will he be riding off into a golden sunset soon enough?

Lance Archer speaks.

“Sting, man, I looked up to you. I think everybody that has ever stepped into the ring has looked up to you. Let’s face it, without the Icon, there is no Murderhawk Monster. Without Sting, there is no Lance Archer.” So why did he interrupt Sting’s time? Because it should be HIS time! Archer has a black baseball bat a la Sting, and says that this used to mean something. It used to mean justice, and that people paid attention. Now people will pay attention to Archer! And if they don’t, the walls will come crashing down around them, and it will be Archer’s boot that kicks it down on them.

Sting will go down as one of the greatest of all time, but now people will remember Archer’s name. Sooner or later, one way or another, it will be showtime!

AEW shares footage from after last week’s Unsanctioned Match.

Thunder Rosa says, “I came from nothing. And several months ago, I came here to make a statement. And tonight, with blood, sweat and tears, I just showed you that! That Women’s Wrestling should be valued everywhere. And I’m very, very proud of this.” Rosa won big but is that just the beginning for her in AEW?

Tony Schiavone interviews Britt Baker live on stage.

A round of applause for the Role Model for her part in one of the greatest matches ever in AEW! The fans have a mixed reaction but Britt can’t believe that’s the “warm welcome” she gets for the hell she went through? Then they’re as dumb, delusional and disrespectful as Thunder Rosa. Britt tells Rosa that she should be thanking Britt every day she wakes up. Rosa should be thankful because she will be remembered forever now. Rosa got to be part of the history that BRITT wrote with her blood! And then Rosa has the audacity to stand here in BRITT’S company, in BRITT’S division, and act like ROSA put it on the map? Then why is everyone talking about Britt?

Britt says she doesn’t even need to praise and adoration of the legends and experts telling her that she’s worthy now, that she’s a star now. Mick Foley, thanks for the thumbs up. But it took him twenty years to become a hardcore legend, and she did it in one night! And that night, when Britt had 87 thumbtacks in her back and blood flowing down her forehead into her eyes, she never saw more clearly. Tony Khan is out here looking for every legend who ever has been, when he has the biggest one that’ll ever be right here, under his nose.

“Because not only did I make history that night, I put AEW on the map. And those three letters, A E W, come second to the most epic three in all of professional wrestling: D M D.” Britt shoves the mic back at Schiavone and heads off. But will The Dentist be able to get the G O L D before Rosa?

AEW staff knocks on The Pinnacle’s door.

MJF leads the way for Tully Blanchard, FTR, Shawn Spears and Wardlow as they head to gorilla. The newest and most dangerous faction in AEW has their first match as a unit, after the break!

Backstage interview with Christian Cage.

Captain Charisma is talking with Dante Martin and the Varsity Blondes about “that beach life,” and asks how Darrius is doing. He’s doing great, just needs more time to recover. Christian says that’s good, and wants Dante to tell him hi for him. Dasha asks Christian that last week, he mentioned his intentions as to why he signed with AEW, and if this conversation had anything to do with that. Nah, this was just hanging out, getting to know everybody, talking shop. These three have a tag match coming up, Christian knows about tag team wrestling, so he was giving them some friendly advice.

But then Frankie Kazarian walks over and says Christian’s been so busy giving advice that he forgot to say hello to an old friend. What’s going on? Kaz says he’s just giving Christian a hard time and is happy to see him. Christian looks great, the shirt’s cool, the catchphrase… Well, actually, Kaz lives by the words “Outwork everyone,” too, and has been doing that since day one. An AEW original, if you will, and one of the original AEW World Tag Team Champions, too. Kaz has beaten the best the company’s put in front of him, and Kaz is just wondering, “When does the work part begin?”

Christian asks Kaz back that he isn’t becoming a “Cranky Franky” is he? Is Kaz convincing Christian or himself of this stuff? They’ve been in the ring together plenty of times, he knows what Kaz is about. But if Kaz wants to see the “work” part start, then Christian will start next week. He has no opponent, so if Kaz is free, maybe he’ll step up? Kaz accepts the challenge! They shake hands and look forward to that, but Kaz asks if Christian is busy on Monday nights. No, of course he’s not! So then, Kaz will have a match on Dark: Elevation, Christian should check it out because seven years is a long time to be out of the ring. Will the Heavy Metal Rebel outwork the workhorse?

Six Man Tag: FTR & Shawn Spears w/ The Pinnacle VS The Varsity Blondes & Dante Martin!

After demolishing the Inner Circle and taking their private room, we’ll see Cash Wheeler, Dax Harwood and The Chair Man finally join forces in a match to represent their faction! Will Griff Garrison, Brian Pillman Jr. and one-half of Top Flight get what Chris Jericho and his friends got?

The teams sort out and the Ivy League MVP starts with Spears. They circle, FTR start barking at Griff, but Griff focuses. Griff ties up with Spears, Spears powers him towards the Pinnacle’s corner but Griff gets away. Fans cheer that escape, Spears and Griff circle again. They tie up, Spears waistlocks to slam, then floats to facelock then armlock. Spears wrenches the arm, Griff rolls, kips up and wrenches back! Griff tags BPJ and the Blondes CLUB Spears’ arm! BPJ wrenches, yanks, tags Dante, and Dante springboards to stomp the arm! Dante wrenches, tags BPJ back in, and BPJ takes the hand-off to grind Spears down.

Spears powers up, Dax tags in and jumps in as Spears whips BPJ away. Spears drops, Dax CLOBBERS BPJ! Dax drops a leg, an elbow, and a headbutt! Dax drags BPJ around, bumps him off buckles and CHOPS! Dax throws haymakers, tags Spears, but BPJ fires off haymakers and CHOPS! The Pinnacle shove BPJ, Dante tags in and BPJ SUPERKICKS Spears! And SUPERKICKS Dax! Dante goes up and up and MOONSAULTS both Dax and Spears, and lands on his feet! Tag to Griff, he dodges the Pinnacle to DOUBLE SPEAR! Spears and Dax bail out, Dante and BPJ rush the corner but the Pinnacle regroups. Dante and the Blondes build speed, but pull up when they see Wardlow in the way.

The Pinnacle gets tough now that the War Dog is in the way, but Dante and the Blondes back off. The ref wants the Pinnacle to get back in the ring, but AEW goes picture in picture.

The Pinnacle talk it over with Tully, and then MJF rallies his troops. BPJ gets impatient and he goes out to kick and CHOP Spears! BPJ puts Spears in, but Cash anchors BPJ’s feet on the apron! BPJ kicks Cash away but Spears is there to hit a SPINEBUSTER! Tag to Dax, he drags BPJ up and snap suplexes him from his corner! Dax neck wrenches, drives in elbows, then stomps BPJ’s hands! Tag to Cash, BPJ is fed to knees! Cash bends and chokes and CLUBS BPJ against ropes! Dax gets a cheap shot in, Spears tags and drags BPJ up. Spears bumps BPJ off buckles, wrenches and traps an arm to then throw knees! The ref backs Spears off to check on BPJ, but he’s okay to continue.

Tag to Dax, he drags BPJ back up and throws him out! The ref keeps Dax back and Dax uses that to distract so that Cash and Wardlow can drag BPJ up! Tully talks some trash then SLAPS BPJ down! The Pinnacle has learned well from the Inner Circle. Dax goes out after BPJ, drags him up and CHOPS him against barriers! And then bumps him off apron, to fire off haymakers and kicks! Dax puts BPJ in, drags him up but BPJ throws body shots back! BPJ slide sunder, hot tag to Dante! Dante rallies on Dax, Spears gets in but gets a dropkick! Dante dropkicks Dax, then RANAS- No, Spears blocks that and tosses Dante, but Dante lands on his feet!

Dax grabs Dante in chicken wings but Dante BOOTS Spears, ROCKS Dax, then tiger wall kicks Spears to an ENZIGURI! Spears flounders, Dante dropkicks Dax then clotheslines Spears out of the ring!

AEW returns to single picture as Dante runs at Dax, only for Dax to spin him around for a BRAINBUSTER! Dax tells Dante’s fans to shut up, and he drags Dante up to tag Cash. FTR have Dante, tag Spears as they whip, pop-up to the fireman’s carry, then FTR DECKS the Blondes while Spears hits C4! Cover, the Pinnacle wins!

Winners: FTR & Shawn Spears, by pinfall

The Pinnacle are strong together, but that was really more like 6v3 than a fair and square Six Man Tag. Schiavone reluctantly goes to the ring for an interview, but Wardlow drags BPJ up to a top rope, for the FALLING KNEE SMASH! Wardlow throws BPJ out to join Griff and Dante, and MJF grins as his team controls the ring. Schiavone says The Pinnacle has arrived. Cash takes the mic to say that The Pinnacle is not just a name and it’s not just a group. This is FAMILY! Cash doesn’t have a family, a wife and kids waiting at home, but he has his brothers right here! Cash will live and die for each and everyone one of them!

Dax has Schiavone hold the mic for him as he calls out Santana & Ortiz. “You’ve done well for yourselves. Both of you guys have done well for yourselves. And you’ve got a lot of guys here in AEW fooled. But let me tell you something. You’ve got a group of guys here that ain’t fooled. I know, we know, there ain’t a grain of salt in your body.” The Inner Circle, this ain’t some SNL skit. This ain’t some stand-up comedy show! This isn’t a romcom drama! The marquee says “Professional Wrestling.” And if you want to find where you stand in the world of pro-wrestling, you come to AEW and ask for The Pinnacle!

MJF takes a turn and says, “Chris, I’m a little confused. I figured by now, you’d try to come out here and ‘break the walls down.’ But I guess the only thing you’re breaking nowadays is whatever chair you decide to sit on.” Aw, you don’t like that? You upset? Well how about Jericho does MJF a favor, and “grab all your boys and come out here right now!” Wait, silly MJF, they won’t do that. The Inner Circle is terrified of The Pinnacle. Schiavone points out that the Inner Circle can’t come out after being devastated by the Pinnacle. We all know they’re hurt! But one look from Wardlow gets Schiavone to stop. MJF says, “I’m sorry, Tony. Something you wanted to say?” No… That’s what MJF thought.

MJF continues that Schiavone being quite is a great gift, but speaking of! MJF says he has a gift for the Pinnacle. That gift is the future gold they’re about to hold. When you’re in the Pinnacle, you are ALWAYS on top! Will all of these men hold gold that AEW has to offer?

Team Taz speaks.

“A message from Team Taz, from all of us, to all of you AEW fans, Team Taz fans. Look, we understand, we know there’s a lot of conspiracy theories out there.” People think, “What is going on with Team Taz? There’s problems!” Taz assures us that there are no problems here. The Machine, Brian Cage, the FTW Champion, apologized for praising Sting last week. Cage also apologized to Ricky Starks for last week, singling him out. Everything is good with the team. Is Hobbs good? Yep. Hook, you good? Yep. Is Starks good? Absolutely. Cage, you good? “Who betta?” That’s not a yes or a no, but the look on his face is a bit of a giveaway. Will the Path of Cage still be with Team Taz much longer?

Schiavone interviews QT Marshall on stage.

The “Bulldog” of the Nightmare Family wants this time to explain what’s been going on with him lately. “I’m frustrated. Oh, but I’m Cody’s friend, right? That’s probably the reason you think I’m out here, getting this opportunity to speak right now. And yes, it has its perks.” QT’s wife, his childhood sweetheart, is literally sitting and smiling ear to ear as her husband is living his dream. Cody Rhodes taught QT the value of doing the work. But speaking of doing work, Schiavone should know this, “there’s not a person in AEW besides Tony Khan himself who has done more actual work than me.”

Fans boo but QT tells them to calm down. The Nightmare Family’s thrown him some bones, like PPV appearances. QT did win the first-ever Bunkhouse Match in Dynamite history. But what about the stuff you don’t see? Like making sure Cody’s coffee is hot, or his T-shirt is cut the right way. Or how about the fact that when tonight is over, Cody goes back to his room at the Marriott with his wife while QT has to stay up all night and work while his wife is alone. So forgive QT if his frustrations are warranted after waking up one day and realizing that there’s not a ladder he could jump off of or a match he could win that wouldn’t have the asterisk for the footnote that reads, “Cody’s friend.”

QT tells Schiavone that before he says anything, though fans taunt him with “Cody’s Friend! Cody’s Friend!” QT isn’t denying that! That’s why he’s out here! But here is what QT suggests: the only way to get out of Cody’s shadow is to have an “exhibition match” between friends so that QT can prove to the entire world that not only does QT belong, but that he can hang with the absolute best in AEW! QT knows he can’t make Cody come out and agree. He can’t make anyone do what they don’t want to, he doesn’t have that kind of power in the company. But QT can control what he will and won’t do. QT will no longer take meaningless bumps and jeopardize his quality of life for after he’s done wrestling, if it’s in Cody’s shadow!

But wait! Cody appears! Arm in a sling, he still takes off his headset and leaves that behind to get a mic. He wants this to stop. He understands QT’s angst and where he’s going with this. Cody’s heart isn’t into this, but he will gladly accommodate QT, the Nightmare Family, the Nightmare Factory and all the fans by giving QT his exhibition match. Arn Anderson will even be the special referee. QT will try and beat Cody, Cody will do his best to stop that because of his name and reputation. But he means this with no intimidation, he’s not going to hurt QT. If Cody puts on a Figure Four, he’ll even let it go. If he hooks QT up for Cross Rhodes, he’ll stop from hitting it.

When this place had blossoming success and Cody filled a spot people thought he wouldn’t, he knows he upset some people. Those people are still upset. QT was a good assistant, is a great man. “In an industry filled with acquaintances, you have become a friend.” Cody wants QT to know that he might even be Cody’s best friend. So then let’s have the exhibition as friend to friend. That’s all QT has ever wanted. They shake hands, and Cody lets Schiavone send us to commercial. Will QT’s frustrations be gone after having it out with Cody?

Winners: The Lucha Brothers & Laredo Kid, by pinfall

The Bucks took their eyes off the prize, and the luchadors take the win! But Kenny Omega returns to CLOBBER Laredo?! Omega gets the AEW title belt to hit Laredo more! Matt and Nick ask what the hell and Omega gets a mic. “I’m having vivid flashbacks here, Matt.” He’s remembering 2019, the Fyter Fest main event, all the players are here! Omega knows Laredo from AAA! What happened? Omega is recalling a few years ago, when they all had a choice. Their 12 year friendship, their family, which is fitting with the rest of the Jacksons ringside.

But three years ago, Omega had a choice. Was he going to “stay at home” with the people that loved him, the fans that loved him, and those that he loved back? No, he didn’t do that. Was he going to go to “greener pastures?” NO! Where did he choose to go? It’s obvious, right? They’re obviously thinking, “Kenny, you chose AEW.” But he didn’t choose this. He chose the Bucks. Omega chose the vision that they created three years ago to make this the best wrestling promotion on the planet!! “And rather than sit in the high school cafeteria with the cool kids and the captain of the football team,” speaking of himself metaphorically, “you chose Brandon Cutler.” Omega chooses them, they never chose him back.

Yeah, sure, maybe Callis can come off as abrasive. But Omega will give the Bucks one more chance. “Toss it up.” Omega wants them to Too Sweet for “the hard cam.” Are they with him? Now or never! The Bucks don’t get what Omega’s doing this for. Omega says he may not agree with everything Callis has said, but look at them! The Bucks have changed! They can’t stand by family? This is their last chance!! The Bucks LEAVE! Cutler follows after and Omega says he can go be their camera man for BTE and carry their gear. They’re done here! But then Omega turns around into DOUBLE SUPERKICKS from the Lucha Brothers!

Penta drags Omega up and tucks him in, Fenix goes up top, L B DRIVER!! Callis isn’t sure what to do up on stage but the dual AEW World and AAA Mega Champion is left laying in the ring! The Good Brothers finally run out, but it’s a little too late. Omega’s got some blood in his mouth, but he manages to say, “They’re done.” Omega gives a thumbs up to the crowd, but will it be thumbs down for the Bucks?

Jade Cargill speaks.

“Red Velvet. I think you made the biggest mistake in your career. You getting in my face was the biggest joke! I beat your ass a couple weeks ago, and you’re coming back, asking for more?” Jade is on the path of greatness, Velvet is just a pitstop on the way to the throne. Jade is undefeated, Velvet is on a win streak, but there can only be one! And Jade is that woman! She looks like money, sounds like money, and looks damn good doing it. Velvet will step in the ring with #THATBitch! Will Velvet survive the storm that’s coming for her?

The Nightmare Family empire is growing!

With special behind-the-scene looks at AEW, and candid moments of Mr. & Mrs. American Nightmare, Cody and Brandi are ready to show us all how they’re handling balancing work, play and everything in between. Make sure to tune in for Rhodes to the Top, coming to TNT!

Jon Moxley and Eddie Kingston speaks.

The Mad King says, “There it is. Get it. Get it. It’s a broken something.” But that’s fine for Kingston. He’s broken things before in his life, he’ll come back stronger. But he tells the Good Brothers and Kenny, Bullet Club, “This is not New Japan. This is not six years ago. This is not about selling some tacky T-shirts. Oh, did I hit a nerve? I hope I did.” But they will pay for this. Where these two come from, you take one of them out, they put one of you in the morgue! Understand the seriousness of this? Kingston stands up but the bad leg isn’t good for that so he sits back down.

Moxley says the question is, “Just how far are you willing to take this?” Do they think they’re willing to take it as far as Moxley and Kingston? Are they as willing to get blood under their fingernails as Moxley and Kingston? No! “There’s war in the streets of Jacksonville!” Moxley sees the Bucks. He doesn’t know them, doesn’t like them, doesn’t play games with people he doesn’t know. But maybe he owes them one after last week. Moxley doesn’t have the patience for this Bullet Club melodrama, but as you can see, “we’re playing with live rounds here.” So if the Bucks are gonna be in the game, be willing to get your hands dirty. Is this the Maniac sending an invitation for the Bucks to join his side?

Tay Conti VS Nyla Rose w/ Vickie Guerrero!

We revisit the AEW Women’s Title Eliminator Tournament as the Brazilian Blackbelt takes on the Native Beast! But will a few weeks change anything from that match? Or has Tay learned a thing or two that could trip up the Vicious Vixen?

The bell rings and Tay rushes Nyla! Nyla dodges the boot to then POUNCE Tay! Nyla stomps away then stands on Tay, but the ref counts. Nyla steps off at 4, drags Tay up and scoops her for a slam! Vickie cheers as Nyla drags Tay up. Nyla scoops but Tay slips off to hook Nyla up into an IRON OCTOPUS! Tay drags Nyla down to the mat, but Nyla fights to move around. Tay gets the DISARMER! Nyla powers up to roll Tay to a cover, TWO! Nyla shakes out the arms, Tay flounders up in a corner, but Tay dodges as Nyla runs in! Tay fires off, and uses drop sayanagis to throw Nyla all around! Nyla flounders to a corner now, and Tay runs in to KNEE- No! Nyla makes it a SPINEBUSTER! Cover, TWO!

Nyla clamps onto Tay’s arm and BITES the fingers! Then she pulls on the fingers and gives them a SNAP! Tay goes to a corner, Nyla stomps her and digs her boot in! The ref counts, Nyla lets off, but fans taunt her with “Nyla Sucks!” Nyla CHOPS Tay, brings her out but Tay rolls Nyla up, ONE!! Nyla CLOBBERS Tay! Nyla drags Tay back up, hangs her out to dry on the ropes, then CLUBS her on the bac. Nyla goes to the corner to climb and leap, GUILLOTINE KNEE DROP! Cover, TWO!! Tay survives and surprises the Vicious Vixens as AEW goes picture in picture!

Nyla stomps Tay, drags her up, but Tay fires off forearms! Nyla DECKS Tay, then hooks her up into a camel clutch! Tay endures as Nyla bends her backwards! Nyla fish hooks the face, the ref counts and Nyla goes back to a chinlock, to then dribble Tay off the mat! Nyla drags Tay to the ropes, chokes her and Vickie even gets away with a SLAP! Vickie laughs at Tay but Tay glares back. Vickie wants Tay to cool off, but Tay is backing her down. Nyla comes around to BLINDSIDE Tay! Nyla mocks Tay’s dancing, then stomps her! Vickie laughs, and thankfully picture in picture cuts the AEW audio.

Nyla drags Tay up, puts her in, and covers, TWO! Tay isn’t done yet, but Nyla stays right on her. Nyla has a facelock, Tay fights up to throw body shots. Nyla CLUBS Tay, and AEW goes to break.

AEW returns and Nyla whips Tay to scoop her for a SIDEWALK SLAM! Nyla runs, ROLLING THUNDER onto knees! Tay saves herself, and runs in at Nyla to fire off forearms! Tay is unleashed, and she runs in to KNEE! Then side to side to BOOT WASH! Tay drags Nyla around, hammerlocks but Nyla back drops free! Nyla hobbles but into a drop toehold onto ropes! Tay goes to the apron to drag Nyla out and give her a BOOT! Tay climbs up the corner now for a TIGHTROPE KNEE! Cover, TWO!! Nyla survives and shocks Tay, but Vickie cackles again. Nyla staggers to a corner, Tay runs in but is put on the apron! Tay ROUNDHOUSES, then climbs up, to leap over Nyla!

Tay comes back to BOOT Nyla, Nyla comes back to CLOBBER Tay! Cover, TWO!! Nyla drags Tay up, reels her in, bomb lifts but Tay sunset flips! Nyla sits down and hammers away on Tay! Tay kicks Nyla away, gets up to kick and mule kick, but she has to catch her breath. Nyla knees Tay, fireman’s carries, but Tay slips off to ROUNDHOUSE! Tay runs in to KNEE Nyla in the corner again! And KNEE her again! Tay reels Nyla in for the DD-TAY!! Cover, Tay wins!!!

Winner: Tay Conti, by pinfall

The biggest win for the fastest rising star in wrestling! But Vickie gets her stuck on the corner, and Nyla SLAMS Tay down! Sore losers indeed, Nyla reels Tay in. But Hikaru Shida is here and she SMACKS Nyla with her kendo stick! Shida hammers away on Nyla, but here comes Bunny Allie?! She gets Shida’s stick to SMACK her with it! And SMACK Tay with it! Big Money Matt, Butcher and Blade walk out, the #HFO, Hardy Family Office, watch as Bunny tears into Tay! Nyla gets up and goes after Shida, as does Vickie! Is this a business agreement between the Vicious Vixens and Hardy?

Hardy says “the Women Eliminator Title Tournament, it was terrible. It was a shame, because the Bunny wasn’t in it.” His clients have been overlooked for far too long, and that ends now! Will the AEW Women’s World Champion and every other woman in the locker room have to worry about a rabid Bunny on top of the Vicious Vixens?

AEW profiles the rematch of Chuck & Cassidy VS #SuperBest.

The Best Man is looking forward to Mr. Superbad destroy Chuck Taylor and Orange Cassidy in their coming rematch. Miro is excited because this is what Kip wanted. Chuck says Miro’s gonna kick his ass because Chuck’s pretty good at getting his ass kicked. Kip says, “Arcade Anarchy? You guys thought you were being smart. You guys thought you were being clever.” Chuck says it’s not how many times you lose in the game, it’s whether or not you win in the end. Kip says Chuck & Cassidy are dumber than they look, because this HIS realm!

But Chuck tells Miro, “you big Donkey Kong looking bastard,” which would make Kip “Donkey Kong Jr,” that after Arcade Anarchy, when these two win the whole damn thing, they can keep the princess. Miro says there will be no more Charles the Butler, no more Walking Xanax Cassidy. It will truly be GAME OVER! Will next week be the last round between these four?

AEW has much more for Dynamite next week!

After the brawl we saw just moments ago, Tay Conti joins forces with Hikaru Shida against Bunny Allie and Nyla Rose! And likewise, after what Kenny Omega said to the Bucks and what the Lucha Bros did to Omega, the Cleaner and the Good Brothers go up against Penta, Fenix and Laredo Kid in a trios match! The special exhibition match of Cody VS QT with Arn as the referee also happens, and Captain Charisma has his AEW in-ring debut against Frankie Kazarian!

Scorpio Sky speaks.

“This isn’t a new side of me. This is a side you just haven’t seen. I have been screwed over and over again, and my opportunity to become TNT Champion against Darby Allin is just another example of it.” Everyone will have to stop thinking Scorpio is “uniquely gifted.” Humility only gives people a reason to underrate you. And those days are over! That brings us to Dark: Elevation and Mike Sydal. Time to pay the rent! If Matt Sydal wants to get involved, just remember that Scorpio is more than one man. He is the Face of the Revolution! Will Scorpio not just #ReachForTheSky, but shine in the light?

AEW TNT Championship: Darby Allin VS John Silver w/ The Dark Order!

The Relentless Face of TNT put the challenge out to the Dark Order so that they could all honor the late, great Brodie Lee! But will Number 4 feel like number one when he brings this title back to the fold? Or is being freakin’ jacked not enough to stop Darby?

The introductions are made, the title is raised, and one way or another, the Exalted One lives on in tonight’s main event!

Darby and Silver stare down, Darby points to the sky to show respect to Brodie, and they tie up. Silver puts Darby in a corner, lets off and flexes, but Darby shoves him. They tie up again, break, tie up again, and break. Silver and Darby circle, fans rally and duel, and the two feel out the grapple. They tie up with knuckle locks and Silver uses his strength to bring Darby down. Darby gets up, breaks free and wrenches to wrangle Silver down. Silver kips up, but Darby wrangles him with a headlock now! Silver fights up, but Darby holds on tight as Silver tries to power out. Darby hits a takeover, but Silver keeps the shoulders up.

Silver throws Darby, Darby holds on and drags Silver down. Fans rally and duel, Silver fights up again, body shots and shoves, but Darby escapes the scoop to then side step, only for Silver to BLAST him with that body check! The Meat Man has a lot of momentum and he fetches Darby into the ring. Darby flounders about, Silver waits as the ref checks on him, but Darby isn’t going to give up like that. Silver ROCKS him with a EuroUpper, then TOSSES him across the ring! Silver flexes the guns and fans fire up. Darby gets up, Silver brings Darby up to TOSS him into buckles! The chants become “He’s So Jacked!” as Silver trophy lifts and TOSSES Darby, tot hen BOOT WASH!

Silver hurries to get Darby up, SNAP BRAINBUSTER! Cover, TWO!! Darby survives as AEW goes picture in picture.

Silver stalks Darby to a corner, drags him up, and KICKS him back down! Silver takes a moment to pace around Darby before he brings him up again. Silver whips Darby hard into the corner, and Darby bounces off buckles. Silver runs corner to corner but Darby elbows him away! Darby goes up but Silver trips Darby into a Tree of Woe! Silver KICKS Darby, then KICKS him again. And again! Silver KICKS Darby in the back, gets him off the Tree into a Gory Especial, and spins him around for a SWINGING NECKBREAKER! Cover, TWO!! Darby survives Silver’s innovation but he still flounders against ropes.

Silver stalks over, brings Darby up but Darby throws body shots. Silver DECKS Darby but Darby fights from below. Silver kicks Darby around then DECKS him again! Silver paces, brings Darby up from the ropes and ROCKS him again! Darby ends up in a corner, Silver DECKS him, then lines up a shot to KICK him out of the ring! AEW returns to single picture as Silver goes out to fetch Darby. Silver whips Darby into railings! And runs in but Darby moves, and Silver tumbles up and over! Reynolds checks on Silver, Silver checks his arm while Darby goes to the ring. Silver manages to stand, fans rally up as Silver gets up and Angels coaches him.

Darby builds speed, Angels takes the TOPE for Silver!! Silver gets Darby for a GERMAN SUPLEX! Cabana checks on Angels, but here comes STING! Sting and his bat are here to reinforce Darby and the Dark Order gives him space. Silver fetches Darby and puts him in the ring. Silver makes sure his arm is working, and he drags Darby up for more forearm shots. Darby staggers, Silver KICKS him and KICKS him, then powers up to run. Darby dodges the lariat to backslide, but Silver slips off to KICK and KICK and KICK! Darby fights the waistlock to WRING the arm out, then rolls and rolls and La Magistrols, TWO!! Darby gets around Silver again, THROW- NO! Silver gets Darby to a sleeper!

Silver locks in the QUEENSLAYER, Anna Jay’s hold! Number 99 is with the Dark Order in spirit! Darby flails, reaches, sits up, pries at the hold, and the bad arm is a factor! Silver CLUBS Darby with the good arm, then drags Darby back down! Darby rolls it back to a cover, TWO!! Darby fires off fast hands, but Silver blocks the low headbutt into a DARK DESTROYER!! It wasn’t the best, but Silver covers, TWO!! Darby still lives and he gets to the apron. Darby flops to the floor, Sting watches the Dark Order closely, but the Dark Order stays back. The fans are thunderous as Darby is still down and the ring count climbs. Silver hurries to fetch Darby because of Champion’s Advantage.

Silver stands Darby against the timekeeper’s table to KICK Darby! Silver puts Darby in, gets Darby up for more KICKS, but he has to remember television time remaining is running out! Darby sits up after the kick, then blocks the next! Darby SLAPS away on Silver, has Silver in a corner, the ref counts but Silver turns it around to SLAP back! Silver fire off then fires up to run, into BOOTS! Darby goes up, leaps to victory roll but Silver sits on it! TWO!!! Darby narrowly escapes and fans duel about the count! Both men are down, but Silver gets up. Darby follows, Silver forearms but Darby gives back half a dozen!

Sliver fires off fast hands and a kick, but he runs into the COFFIN DROP! Darby reels Silver in, but Silver wrenches out to BOOT Darby to a corner! Silver drags Darby back up, hoists him up top, then climbs up to join him. Darby fights back and GOURD BUSTERS Silver! Darby COFFIN DROPS The Dark Order!! Darby makes sure Silver’s allies are not a factor, and he gets back in the ring. Silver GAMANGIRIS at the ropes! Silver goes up, torture racks Darby for a SUPER TOWER HACKER BOMB!!! Silver has to crawl to a cover, ROPEBREAK!! Darby gets lucky and survives! Silver can’t believe it, but he drags Darby back around.

Silver reels Darby in, gives a shout out to Brodie, for the BRODIE- NO! YOSHI TONIC!! Cover, Darby wins!!

Winner: Darby Allin, by pinfall (still AEW TNT Champion)

Sting goes into the ring to keep Darby safe, but he also helps Silver up to show him respect. Darby does the same with a fist bump, but then Matt Hardy and his team attack! Hardy throws Darby into railing, but Private Party, Butcher and Blade are outnumbered by the Numbers and Sting! That wasn’t very smart of HFO! Sting CLOBBERS Marq Quen, Tay is after Allie for earlier! Darby returns to DECK Hardy and then DIVE into him!! Darby hammers Hardy and dribbles him off the floor! It’s chaos to close AEW, but Darby stands tall beside Sting! Will the Relentless and the Icon make Big Money Matt pay for ruining the moment?

My Thoughts:

A great episode for AEW and there are clearly a lot of things being set up as we move deeper into Spring. For one, things are going about as I expected for the big story of Omega, the Bucks and Moxley. Omega clears out Sydal, which was obvious, but comes back after the great Six Man of Bucks & Cutler VS Lucha Bros & Laredo. I guess Omega does have a point that The Elite (The The Elite) would’ve normally been the combination they’d go with, but he hypocritically is forgetting how Callis snubbed the Bucks when we had that opportunity and swapped in The Good Brothers a few months ago. Moxley’s promo was very good, and it is as I was hoping: Moxley & Bucks could work together to take on Omega & Good Brothers.

Hangman had a very good match with Bononi, Bononi is definitely figuring out who he is as “Beautiful Bononi,” as Peter Avalon called him on last night’s Dark. Hangman as the #2 ranked singles competitor is definitely in the perfect position to wait it out and see if he can get his own payback on Omega after everything else plays out. I feel like him telling Silver that the Dark Order will support him “either way” should’ve shaken Silver a little, but whatever. Britt had a really good promo to counter Rosa’s post show comments, but seeing how things went with Conti VS Nyla and the brawl, I’m glad they’re more or less delaying Rosa or Britt getting their shot.

The tag match next week should give us a sign if it’s Allie or Tay getting a shot, both would make for a fresh match-up with Shida, and then we can save Rosa or Britt VS Shida for Double or Nothing. The Pinnacle also had a very good Six Man with Dante Martin & The Varsity Blondes, though the Pinnacle was of course going to win. The Pinnacle’s promos after were all very good, though I almost thought Cash Wheeler’s theme of Pinnacle being a family was leading into them just parodying the Inner Circle. It works that Inner Circle isn’t back yet, they got beat down really badly so they gotta sell it by being gone for a bit. Maybe closer to Double or Nothing, Inner Circle starts making a comeback, then we get a huge faction match at the PPV.

Not to be mean to Captain Charisma, but I’m on Kaz’s side with that promo. Christian Cage is of course an accomplished wrestler, a legend if you will, but a workhorse that outworks everyone? I dunno… Christian VS Kaz for the first time since they were both in TNA Impact is still going to be very good, and I do hope to see Christian at least on commentary for Kaz’s match for Elevation, but it’s going to take a lot to see the Instant Classic as an actual workhorse these days. We got a good group promo from Team Taz, and it sounds like Taz sprung that talk about Brian Cage apologizing on him right there. Cage was cornered, kinda had to go along with it, but the Machine is just getting closer to splitting off with every week, and that might be a lot of fun.

QT was so close to just turning Heel tonight, but it was great that he didn’t yet. QT VS Cody in an exhibition is going to turn nasty as far as QT’s side of things, and it seems like a trend for Cody to lose guys he considered friends but didn’t necessarily treat like friends. But if turning on Cody helped MJF, it’ll definitely help QT. I’m still expecting QT to take half of the ever-growing Nightmare Family/Factory stable with him, such as Nick Comoroto and Aaron Solow, just so THE Nightmare Family isn’t bigger than The Dark Order and Pinnacle combined. And “Arcade Anarchy” is a pretty good name for the blow-off of Chuck & Cassidy VS Miro & Kip. But I hope this is where Trent triumphantly returns to help his Best Friends so that all of them can move on.

We got a good promo from Jade to set up her 1v1 match with Velvet, which will be good but probably Jade’s win. Scorpio had a good promo, too, and his match with Mike Sydal will be good but also his to win. The TNT Championship match was amazing, and I like that we continue to get this interesting story build of Number 5 Alan Angels being treated more like last place. He doesn’t get the trust fall catch like the others, but he goes out of his way to save Silver from the tope, so is Angels going to be the first person to leave Dark Order? That’d be a twist. But as great as Silver was doing, Darby wins and keeps his reign going as only the fourth-ever champion.

I like that Sting is sticking with Darby, and I find it interesting that right away, Hardy Family Office wants after Darby. I guess that’s just going to be the theme for Darby and Sting. They take on groups so they’re underdogs just on numbers, only to come out on top. At the same time, Lance Archer is aiming for Sting, so maybe Archer is the X-Factor in that feud, bringing Sting on a detour while Darby fights HFO alone.

My Score: 9.5/10

AEW shares footage from after Dynamite.

Darby Allin made the save for Will Ospreay against Claudio Castagnoli, and Ospreay just wanted a second to talk. Ospreay says if Darby didn’t make that save, Ospreay wouldn’t be finishing this tournament. So just a quick one, Ospreay appreciates it and he thanks Darby very much. Darby says he just has this feeling. The same exact feeling that he had when Bryan Danielson got taken out. The same exact feeling he had when Chuck Taylor was taken out. Something is gonna happen again unless they all do something about it, so what is Ospreay willing to do? Darby says they can just find the Death Riders and put an end to this!

Ospreay says easy, now, tiger. But Darby says something is going to happen unless they do something! Ospreay understands, but can’t Darby see Ospreay’s got bigger things going on? He lost at WrestleDream, he lost at Full Gear, that’s back-to-back PPV loses and that does not happen to Ospreay. He has to regain momentum, and that means going through every single person in this tournament, and that includes Darby. Darby says that’s cute. Darby doesn’t care about Ospreay’s personal problems, or anyone else’s, because this is bigger than all of them. This is about AEW. Next year, there might not even be a Continental Classic if they don’t stop this now.

Doesn’t Ospreay see it? The Death Riders will keep chipping away and chipping away at everything that makes AEW what it is. So what is Ospreay doing? What is he doing about it? Ospreay is trying to win this tournament! He needs his momentum back. He can’t just drop everything. Ospreay needs this! So he’ll tell Darby this as a man who respects Darby: Ospreay respects everything Darby’s doing for AEW, but Ospreay needs his momentum. Then maybe afterwards, knock on his door. If Darby needs someone to fight alongside him, Ospreay’s game. See you next week. Ospreay heads out, but will either of them make it to the Holiday Bash?

Here are the current Continental Classic Blue League standings!

Kyle Fletcher: 3-0, 9 points
Kazuchika Okada: 1-1-1, 4 points
Daniel Garcia: 1-1-1, 4 points
Mark Briscoe: 1-2, 3 points
Shelton Benjamin: 1-1, 3 points
The Beast Mortos: 0-2, 0 points

Mark Briscoe speaks.

“Dem Boys in the house tonight, baby! Kyle Fletcher, I’m coming for you! I need this win, mathematically speaking! I’ma show you how we do! I’ma show you that I’m all dog, baby! All dog! ARF ARF RAA!”

Kyle Fletcher speaks.

“Mark Briscoe, I’m sorry, but tonight, you are just another victim for The Protostar. After tonight, it’ll be 12 points Fletch, and I will see you in the semifinals.”

Kazuchika Okada and Beast Mortos speak.

“Beast Mortos.” Mortos ROARS, but Okada says, “No. B*tch Mortos.” The Rainmaker has some strong words for the menacing minotaur, but will Mortos make sure the Continental Champion does NOT make it to Worlds End?

WrestleDynasty International Women’s Cup Qualifier AEW Finals: Jamie Hayter VS Willow Nightingale!

As the New Year approaches, so does that massive weekend in the Tokyo Dome! WrestleDynasty’s International Women’s Cup awaits, but will Hayter Hit Hard enough to punch her ticket to Japan? Or will the Babe with the Power look to add to her international list of accolades?

The bell rings, the two shake hands and the fans cheer the respect shown. The two tie up, Hayter hits a headlock takeover, but Willow has the headscissors. Hayter kips free, Willow hits a takeover but Hayter headscissors. Willow kips free, the two reset and the fans cheer. The two tie up, go around, and then break. The fans duel as Willow and Hayter circle. They tie up again and are in a deadlock, so they break. Hayter and Willow fire themselves up and circle again. They tie up, Hayter headlocks, but Willow powers up and out. Hayter RAMS Willow, but Willow flexes! The fans cheer, Hayter applauds, and then runs.

Hayter RAMS Willow again, but Willow brushes herself off. Hayter goes again, but Willow RAMS her! The fans fire up and Willow tells Hayter she’s got this. Hayter runs, Willow follows and then CLOBBERS Hayter! The fans cheer while Willow does a dance. Willow offers another handshake, which Hayter takes, but Hayter uses to drag Willow into a cradle! TWO, and Willow stands to CLOBBER Hayter again! The fans cheer, Willow runs but she rolls over the dropdown. Hayter runs up, Willow bypasses, but Hayter blocks the hip toss! Willow CHOPS in return! Willow puts Hayter in the corner to CHOP and the fans are dueling again! Willow CHOPS and CHOPS and CHOPS! Hayter CHOPS, CHOPS and CHOPS in return! Hayter adds more CHOPS, Willow CHOPS again, then Hayter ROCKS Willow. Hayter whips, but Willow blocks by holding ropes. Hayter CLUBS Willow, whips her, then ELBOWS Willow at ropes. Hayter fires hands, then runs, but Willow DUMPS her to the apron! Hayter skins the cat but Willow throws a shot! Hayter ROCKS Willow in return, then drags her out to the apron, for an APRON DDT! Willow flops to the floor, but the lights go out!

Hayter looks around in a bit of a panic, was that Julia Hart teasing something? After all, Hart’s been calling her out lately. Willow uses the distraction to RAM Hayter into the apron! Willow then climbs up, and the fans fire up as Willow runs, CANNONBALL to the floor! The fans fire up with Willow while Collision goes picture in picture.

Willow drags Hayter up, puts her in the ring, but Hayter bails out the side. Willow is annoyed and goes out after her to stand her up. Willow CHOPS Hayter against the apron! But Hayter turns things around and CHOPS Willow against the apron! Willow fires hands, RAMS Hayter into the railing, then RAMS her into the apron! Willow RAMS Hayter back into the railing, and then throws Hayter into the ring. Hayter still bails out the side! Willow is annoyed again but she still goes after Hayter. Willow brings Hayter up and reels her in, but Hayter fights the suplex! Hayter then suplexes Willow to the floor!

Willow writhes but Hayter crawls away to roll into the ring. The ring count is past 5 of 10 but Willow rolls in at 7. Willow drags Hayter up, RAMS her into a corner, then goes up the corner. Willow drags Hayter up to join her, but Hayter fights back! They brawl, Hayter CLUBS away on Willow, then HEADBUTTS her! Brody King speaks.

“When I think of the Continental Classic, I think of prestige, I think of respect. Cowards take the easy way out. Ricochet, you are a coward.” Brody is referring to Ricochet exposing a top turnbuckle and then using it against Brody. Brody says, “I have no respect for you.”

Claudio Castagnoli speaks.

“Some of my colleagues, they would be angry that they lost. I’m also not losing sight of the bigger picture. They would trade victory for success. They would rather win 100 matches than win the war.”

Strong words from two of the physically strongest men in this tournament, but to Claudio’s point, the war is not over as the round robin continues on. Will either Brody or Claudio make comebacks before we reach Worlds End?

AEW shares more footage from after Dynamite.

Reporters caught up with Mariah May to ask her about the return of Toni Storm, and Mariah said she DGAF! What happened to Toni is the same thing that happened to Mina, and it will be the same thing that happens to Thunder Rosa. Every single woman Mariah steps in the ring with has their hopes and dreams, and then they wish they were never born. Mina should just go back to modeling, because her wrestling career as she knows it is over. Mariah didn’t want to do that to Mina, she still loves Mina. But this is just what Mariah does, and will continue to do to any girl that wants to breathe the same air as her. No one can handle the Woman from Hell.

Rosa can go and yell about whatever bat s*it crazy BS she wants, Rosa just needs to name a time and place for Mariah to end her career! As for every other woman in AEW, or any other company, you all have the same dream. But there is only one reality. The Glamour has spoken, but will it fall on deaf ears?

Backstage interview with Thunder Rosa.

Tony Schiavone is with La Mera Mera and brings up Mariah’s comments. Rosa says time and place? March 16th, 2022, San Antonio, Texas, the time and place Rosa won the AEW Women’s World Championship and knew what she was made of. But it doesn’t matter who you ae when you hold the title! What matters is who you are when you aren’t. And Rosa knows in her heart that she is THE champion, for the people and for all of Women’s Wrestling! And that is something Mariah cannot say! And Mariah is cleaning up a mess with her ex-bestie, Toni Storm, but Rosa has a place reserved for Mariah in Hell!

Speaking of Toni Storm, she walks in and says hello, nice to meet everyone. Oh, sorry, she didn’t mean to interrupt. Hi, she’s Toni Storm, she just wanted to introduce herself. They shake hands and Storm says it is a pleasure to meet Thunder Rosa, as well as the living legend, Tony Schiavone. Okay, sorry, she’ll let you all get back to what you were doing. Rock on! Toni heads out and Rosa lets that… odd interaction go. Rosa tells Mariah that in two weeks, her father will be in the audience to see his daughter fight. And she told him to bring a handful of dirt from the graveyards of Tijuana to remind Rosa where she comes from, and where she’s taking Mariah.

So it will be December 28th, 2024, Worlds End! Rosa VS Mariah for the AEW Women’s World Championship, in a TIJUANA STREET FIGHT!! La Mera Mera has spoken, will she bury Mariah in the gave Mariah has dug for herself?

Will Garcia make his way out of the league to head for the Continental Championship? Will Cassidy overcome the Fatal 4 Way odds to finally be THE AEW World Champion?

Don Callis speaks.

“I had a bad night last night. A couple of turncoats who used to be under my employ, ‘Powerhouse’ Hobbs and Mark Davis, did a little switcharoo, a little number on the Don Callis Family. I woke up today with a hole in my heart because of that, but then I got fantastic news. The gods have smiled upon me because I am getting, in two week’s time, at Worlds End, I am getting my revenge on Powerhouse Hobbs. That’s right, a match against the Alpha, Konosuke Takeshita, has been granted. And it’s in two weeks at Worlds End, and I can’t wait.

‘If you thought everything was coming up the Don Callis Family, I’ve got one more thing to be excited about! Kyle Fletcher is getting ready right now to be in the main event tonight! And run the table and mathematically ensure that he goes on to Worlds End and then wins the Continental Championship, when he beats that degenerate, Mark Briscoe tonight on Collision. That is why the Don Callis Family is the true one percenters of professional wrestling. And you’re gonna see it tonight, and you’re gonna see it at Worlds End. And Hobbs, I’m gonna send you right back to the unemployment line.” Callis has made his promises, but will Konosuke and Kyle be able to keep them?

Kyle writhes, the ref checks him and Mark, and Collision goes picture in picture.

Both men are okay to continue so a ring count begins. Mark stirs and rises up, but Kyle is still grimacing in pain. Mark has the fans help him up, and he rolls into the ring. The count is 6 of 10 but Kyle is still down! Callis can’t even go near under Continental Division rules, but Kyle manages to rise at 8! And he leaps in at 9.5! Literally last minute, and the Sussex County Chicken snatches victory from the jaws of defeat! Callis is very upset by this upset victory, and now Mark has new life in the C2! Cassidy & Willow come out to celebrate with him, could Mark make himself one of the semifinalists going into Worlds End?

The Death Riders have hijacked a camera!

Jon Moxley checks if they’re rolling, and Wheeler Yuta says yeah, it’s rolling. He knows how to work that thing? Yeah. Moxley says FTR are about to get lost on their way home tonight. Oh, here they come. The Death Riders watch as Cash Wheeler & Dax Harwood walk through the backstage area. Then Marina Shafir stands in their way. Claudio & Pac snatch FTR with blindfold bags! FTR fights but Moxley helps outnumber the #TopGuys, and they drag FTR out to the parking lot. Yuta keeps the camera on him as he smiles and laughs at the carnage happening just on the other side of the wall. Will the Death Riders personally see to it that there is NO ONE to stand against them?

My Thoughts:

A great Collision here to wrap Winter is Coming Week, and I do appreciate they’re trying to get more and more people into the Death Rider story, as they should. To that end, good promo from Darby and Ospreay to try and get Ospreay to consider his part in all this. I get Ospreay’s side, he just wants to wrestle, win, and become champion again, but considering Claudio is in Gold League with him, he could end up a target, compelling Ospreay to join the fight. And quite the closing moment, with Death Riders going after FTR because they saved Cassidy from their attack. It’ll be quite the AEW Justice League moment when names like Cassidy, FTR, Ospreay and a few others stand against The Death Riders. And I say Justice League because DC Comics is Warner Brothers Discovery, too.

Speaking of the Continental Classic, awesome matches tonight for Blue League. Mortos was of course losing to Okada but he looked great against the champ. Good promo from Callis to hype up both the International Championship match of Konosuke VS Hobbs and tonight’s main event, and what an awesome win for Mark Briscoe. Kyle is leading at 9, but Okada is second at 7 and Mark is third at 6, and things could really get wild in the last round of Blue League competition. I feel like it should still come down to Okada and Kyle because Okada is the champ and should have a chance at defending his belt, and Kyle could potentially face Ospreay again.

Great 10 Man Tag from Garcia, Komander, Cassidy & Outrunners VS Premier Athletes & MXM, but it was clearly all for the fun so that the fans could stay energized during these long tapings. Good squash match win for Kris Statlander, but I feel like Lynn didn’t sell being held up for a 20+ stalling suplex much at all. Equally good squash match win for Toni Storm, and I absolutely LOVE that Toni Storm is pretending this is her first time in AEW. She got reset to her old persona so apparently that came with a memory reset, that is brilliant. Very good promo Mariah, and a very good promo from Rosa, including Toni’s part. A Tijuana Street Fight for the title, and it keeps both women strong no matter who wins.

Great tag match of Top Flight VS Lio & Action, but also a great use of Leila as a distraction in the wrong way. I almost thought she was going to turn and join Lio & Action, but Leila’s done fairly well as a Face now so I feel like she’ll stay a Face. She could easily just give a promo about how Lio & Action didn’t care about her and that’s why she sticks with Dante & Darius. Private Party VS Lio & Action is going to be a great, but I would think Quen & Kassidy win out. And then great International Women’s Cup Qualifier from Willow VS Hayter. Willow was the natural choice given her accolades.

And while it’s great for Julia to return in person, AEW sure fumbled it. The lights went out during the match, aka way too early, and then I don’t think she did a good job choosing elbow gloves. Those things were falling down the whole time, it looked more like she had a big scrunchy wristband. But hey, Hayter VS Hart in a House Rules match for Worlds End would be great for them both, and it’d be quite the way for Hart to get a return win.

My Score: 8.9/10

Jericho is not happy, but he has to give it up to Cardona. Jericho holds up the ROH World Championship and tells Cardona he’ll never have it. But will Cardona prove Jericho is NOT ready to compete with The Complete?

Toni Storm VS Harley Cameron!

For the first time in FOUR MONTHS, the former AEW Women’s World Champion is back in AEW, and she’s back as her original form. Will Toni still be victorious even though she’s no longer Timeless? Or will Harley prove she’s Gold Coast, Australia’s best wrestler now?

BREAKING NEWS for Collision!

Toni Storm’s comeback tour is only heating up as she’ll be in action once again, against Shazza McKenzie! So from one Aussie to another, is Toni going to keep this momentum going? Plus, Kris Statlander will be back in action, will she rebound from her loss at Full Gear? And on top of that, AEW takes a cue from the NBA on TNT, it’s a BIG All Star 10 Man Tag! Daniel Garcia joins forces with Orange Cassidy, The Outrunners & Komander to take on The Premier Athletes & MXM Collection, will the TNT Champion lead his team to a win in this pick-up game?

Brody King speaks.

“When I think of the Continental Classic, I think of prestige, I think of respect and honor. I started the C2 strong, but now I’m down 6 points. Komander, you better bring the fight of your life, because I am.” It is a match of men on the bubble, who will survive one more round in the Gold League? We find out next Friday for Rampage: Holiday Bash!

Deonna Purrazzo VS Shazza McKenzie!

The Virtuosa wants everyone in AEW to understand something: When dealing with The Vendetta, stay on their good side. Will Deonna make sure Shazza understands that explicitly? Or will Shazza get on Deonna’s bad side without even trying?

The bell rings and Deonna circles with Shazza. They tie up, Deonna powers Shazza to the corner, then stomps away! The ref counts, Deonna stops at 4, and she CHOSP! Deonna doesn’t let go! She makes Shazza pay for lasting even this long! Deonna then lets go to revel in her victory. Will anyone stop The Vendetta from rising up the ranks?

Backstage interview with Kris Statlander.

Alex Marvez welcomes #BornAgainKristen and says it is great to see her back again, for the first time since Full Gear. That match with Mercedes Mone was perhaps one of the best matches in the history of the AEW Women’s Division, but seeing as she lost, where does Kris go from here? Kris says she has not stopped thinking about that match. Actually, it feels like Mone hasn’t, either. It seems like Mone won’t stop talking about it. And to give Mone credit, Mone is everything she says she is. Kris came out of that match pretty beat up, so her next step forward is just to keep moving forward.

Kris always moves forward, and that is why she is going to compete tomorrow night on Collision. She’d wrestle again the next night, and the next night, and the next night if she could. She’ll be at Holiday Bash this Wednesday to watch the TBS Championship match, Mone VS Anna Jay. Whoever comes out on top, they should know that Kris has unfinished business with that title. Kris heads out, will she find a way to be the Face of TBS once again?

PROGRAMMING NOTE for Christmas Collision!

Firstly, don’t be fooled, Collision is still on Saturday, December 21st. BUT it will be live coast to coast, 8 PM Eastern, 5 PM Pacific, immediately following TNT’s coverage of the NCAA College Football Playoffs. Make sure your DVRs are set accordingly so your Collision can be merry and bright!

Tony Schiavone is in the ring.

He welcomes us back to Rampage, and he welcomes out ahead of tonight’s main event some of the greatest athletes in the world today, the Don Callis Family! Fans boo as creepy Callus leads the way out for his Alpha, his Murderhawk Monster, and his Protostar. Konosuke Takeshita, Lance Archer & Kyle Fletcher stand with Don Callis and Schiavone in the ring, and Schiavone speaks to Callis that going just off the reaction from the fans, we all know what they think of Callis and his “family.” Callis grabs the mic to say, “I have something important to say. I know you’re very shocked by how we conduct our business, but what business do you think you’re, Schiavone?

“Because I’m in the getting-over-and-making-money business! So is Kyle! So is Takeshita! So is Archer! You don’t believe me? The Murder Machines is the most feared tag team in the history of this company! Takeshita is the best bell-to-bell International champion we’ve ever had. And that brings me to the Protostar, Kyle Fletcher.” The fans boo more but Callis will remind us that “there was a guy running around here who everyone thought was the greatest wrestler they’d ever seen! And his name was Will Ospreay! That was until Will Ospreay got in the ring with Kyle Fletcher! And Kyle Fletcher, Will, he didn’t just beat you. He dominated you!”

The fans boo more as Callis says Kyle put Ospreay down! Ospreay will never be the same. So as he sits home, watching the Callis Family bask in their glory, here’s a question for Ospreay: How does it feel, bruv? The fans boo more, but Callis says, “Wait, it gets better! Just a few short days later, he (Kyle) did the impossible! He got in the ring with a man who has been called, correctly I might add, ‘The greatest tournament wrestler ever,’ Kazuchika Okada. And he BEAT Okada! So Okada, as you sit home and watch us, I’ve got a question for you! How does it feel, b*tch? Tell ’em, Kyle!”

Callis hands the mic over and the fans boo more. Kyle takes off his sunglasses, but he waits as the fans keep booing. “Kansas City, you can boo me as much as you want. You can cheer for that BUM, Ospreay! But it changes absolutely nothing. I am 25-years-old, I have a watch on my wrist that costs more than the car you drive, and I will be the winner of the Continental Classic. So tomorrow night on Collision, Mark Briscoe, I hope you bring more than your Redneck Kung-Fu. Because winning this tournament is my destiny! And nobody gets in the way of me and my destiny.” The fans boo more but Callis gets the mic back.

Callis says one thing is very obvious to him: The Don Callis Family are the ONE PERCENTERS of AEW! And because they’re the One Percent, Callis can say this: there is no one in the back big enough and bad enough to get in the ring with them. But guess what? Here comes “P-P-P-POWERHOUSE!” The fans fire up as Will Hobbs makes his way out, and he’s bringing Dunkzilla with him! Will the Don Callis Family regret ever leaving Hobbs behind?

“Powerhouse” Will Hobbs & Mark Davis VS Konosuke Takeshita & Lance Archer!

The teams sort out and Hobbs starts against Konosuke. Archer calls to Konosuke, and Konosuke tags him in. The fans rally for “MEAT! MEAT! MEAT!” as Archer steps to Hobbs. But Hobbs walks right past Archer to taunt Konosuke. “Is that it? Is that really it?” Konosuke backs off to take a stroll outside. Archer tells Hobbs to pay attention to him, he’s the one in the ring. The fans boo but Archer throws a forearm! Hobbs fires back! The fans fire up as “MEAT! MEAT! MEAT!” goes back and forth! Hobbs gets the edge but archer knees low! Archer tells fans to shut up! Archer whips, Hobbs reverses, and the two RAM shoulders!

Archer staggers to a corner and Hobbs storms up on him! Hobbs rains down fists from above, and we get “MEAT! MEAT! MEAT!” all the way to nine, because Konosuke sneaks up! Hobbs runs Konosuke off, then he tags Davis. Davis climbs up on Archer, and he rains down fists! “MEAT! MEAT! MEAT!” all the way to TEN! Davis storms around, he and Hobbs go after Archer together to double whip him corner to corner. Davis runs in and LARIATS! Hobbs runs up to LARIAT! The fans cheer as they double whip back the other way. Archer goes up, but Davis stays back. Davis waistlocks Archer but Archer ROCKS Hobbs first!

Archer ELBOWS Davis, roars and runs, but he gets DOUBLE SHOULDER TACKLES! The fans fire up for the big meaty men, and Davis drags Archer up. Hobbs comes back in, and they DOUBLE SUPLEX Archer, and even hold him, before the SLAM! Cover, ONE!! Archer shows that grit but Davis pumps up his arm! The fans fire up with Davis as he runs, but Konosuke gets a cheap shot in! Archer then CROSSBODIES Davis! Archer rains down fast hands, then shouts, “This is MY house!” The fans boo but Archer tags Konosuke, and Rampage goes picture in picture.

Archer taunts the fans while Konosuke goes corner to corner. Forearm SMASH on Davis and Konosuke snapmares him down. Konosuke goes up, soaks up the heat, and then SUPER SENTONS! Cover, TWO! Davis toughs it out but Konosuke rains down fists! Konosuke CHOKES Davis, stops as the ref counts, and he tags Archer back in. Archer taunts Hobbs while staying between him and Davis. Archer stands Davis up to short arm ALARAIT! Davis stays up so Archer short arm LARIATS again! Davis falls but Archer brings him up for another short arm LARIAT! Archer stands on Davis’s neck!

The ref reprimands, Archer steps off to drag Davis up, and Archer TOSSES Davis out. Archer keeps the ref distracted so Konosuke can whip Davis into railing! Davis almost falls into the front row! Konosuke drags Davis back and DECKS him! Archer goes out to laugh at the fans while standing on Davis! The ref reprimands, Archer still taunts fans as he steps off, and he drags Davis up. Davis fires forearms! The ring count is climbing but Davis roars, only for Konosuke to CLAW Davis’s face! Archer & Konosuke mug Davis, the ref reprimands them both, but Archer puts Davis in the ring. Archer then KICKS Davis in the side!

Archer drags Davis up to bump him off buckles! Tag to Konosuke, Archer smothers Davis while Konosuke fires body shots. The ref reprimands but Konosuke climbs up. Konosuke throws down fists, but then he BITES Davis on the forehead! Konosuke steps away while the ref reprimands, and Archer almost grabs Davis if not for the ref being wary of him. Archer tags in and he stands Davis up. Archer taunts the fans, then CHOPS Davis! Archer stands Davis up again, to CHOP! Archer stands Davis up a third time, but Davis avoids the chop! Davis CHOPS Archer, but Archer knees low! Archer bumps Davis off buckles, then smothers him!

The ref reprimands, Archer stops, and Rampage returns to single picture. Archer again taunts Hobbs while staying between him and Davis. Archer wrenches Davis, whips him to the corner, but Davis BOOTS Archer away! Davis also ROCKS Konosuke and heads for his corner! The fans are thunderous, but Archer runs at Davis! Davis dodges and Archer hits buckles in the open corner! Davis crawls his way over, but Archer goes to BLAST Hobbs! Archer stomps Davis down while fans boo, but Archer soaks up the heat. Archer grins and looks at the tron, “That’s me!” Tag to Konosuke and Konosuke brings Davis up.

Davis fights the suplex, tries to suplex, but Konosuke also fights! Konosuke powers up to lift Davis up and over! The fans are torn, that was legit impressive. Konosuke runs up but Davis rolls him up! TWO, and Davis DECKS Konosuke! The fans fire up as Davis wobbles and staggers! He spots Hobbs, and leaps for the HOT TAG! Hobbs CLOBBERS Konosuke, LARIATS Konosuke, then runs in and SPLASHES at the corner! The fans are thunderous as Hobbs goes again, but Konosuke BOOTS him! The fans are thunderous again as Hobbs eyes that International Championship. Hobbs holds the belt up, will this be the scene we see in the not too distant future?

My Thoughts:

A great Rampage here, great builds in a lot of stuff, and while there was word that those inside AEW thought this was a waste of Toni Storm’s in-ring return, the match we got was really good. Harley had a good little song to advertise the AEW holiday sale, and had a great showing against Toni, but of course Toni wins tonight. She’ll definitely win tomorrow night, too, but I like that she’s facing another Australian wrestler. This is almost like early hype for Grand Slam: Australia in February. Deonna beat Shazza tonight, decent stuff, but the sooner they get going on The Vendetta targeting Anna Jay the better so that The Vendetta actually has a story.

Actually, I think I said it before but the Vendetta story could be them joining Mercedes Mone, revealing themselves as the ones who attacked Kamille. Then those three take on Kamille, Anna Jay, and Kris Statlander in a Six Woman Tag. Speaking of, good promo from Kris Statlander, and her wanting after the TBS title again is a natural move. She’s gotta bide time while the AEW Women’s World Championship story unfolds, and she’s not downgrading to ROH, she is not that far out of the running. That Six Woman Tag could even lead to a Six Pack Challenge for the title, making it much easier to get that title off Mone.

Very good match from Cardona VS Keith to open the night, but of course Cardona wins. This combined with last night’s ROH contract signing segment, Cardona has all the momentum going into Final Battle next week, so he is sadly not winning the title. Jericho still has to complete his goal of getting ROH a cable TV deal, and there is even word that there is interest, perhaps even from Warner Brother Discovery to put ROH on the other Turner network, TruTV, so who knows. Maybe Jericho retains long enough for that deal to be finalized, and then he loses on the first episode of ROH back on cable.

Good promo from Brody King, and I would think he defeats Komander to rebound from his lose to Claudio. Sorry, Komander, but you might be eating the goose egg. Very good promo from Callis and Fletcher to call out Ospreay and Okada and even Mark Briscoe. I feel like that foreshadows Ospreay and Okada making it to Worlds End as semifinalists with Fletcher. And a great main event tag match as Hobbs & Davis made a surprisingly good duo. Great win for Hobbs & Davis, too, and it establishes Hobbs VS Konosuke for the International Championship. Now, Hobbs’ chances of winning that title depend on what AEW and NJPW agree on for WrestleDynasty and Konosuke VS Shingo Takagi, but I wouldn’t mind seeing Hobbs win.

My Score: 8.8/10
