Chris King shares his thoughts on why he believes after Money in the Bank could we see the beginning of a heel turn for the former WWE champion.

For over a year now, “The ScottishWarrior” Drew McIntyre has been at the top of the card on Monday Night Raw holding the prestigious WWE Championship during the pandemic era. He slayed a beast, outlasted the fangs of a viper, and took on any challengers who stepped up to the plate.

It appeared that at WrestleMania 37, McIntyre would defeat then-champion Bobby Lashley to reclaim what’s rightfully his in front of a live crowd for the first time in over a year but it didn’t happen. The Scottish Warrior has earned his spot in the men’s Money in the Bank ladder match this Sunday, but will McIntyre fall short again?

Currently, he’s in a mini feud with longtime friend and 3MB band mate Jinder Mahal over the past few weeks. Could the WWE Universe witness a partnership where McIntyre joins the dark side to get what he wants? “The Scottish Psychopath” was a force to be reckoned with back in 2019 under the guidance of Shane McMahon.

Everything felt different as he made his way up to the top of the food chain. His Claymore kicks looked even more dangerous than they do now. McIntyre was like a hired hitman ready to take out anyone who got in his path. At this Sunday’s Money in the Bank pay-per-view, Kofi Kingston challenges Bobby Lashley for the title, what if McIntyre wins the money in the bank briefcase and cashes in. He comes out and hits both superstars with devastating Claymore kicks and wins the WWE Championship?

Then on the first Raw in front of live crowds, McIntyre berates every single member of the WWE Universe. He claims that during the pandemic nobody was truly behind him as champion and now he’s ready to do things on his own! The Scottish Psychopath then puts the whole roster on notice, I think it would shake up Monday nights for sure!
