The ref finally sees that and Sho gives the hammer back, blaming Abe-san. Abe says Sho did all this himself! Fans rally as Sho goes into the ring and Taiji slowly gets up.

The ring count starts, Taiji crawls at 4 of 20, gets to his feet at 10, and he snarls as he gets up and has Sho back off. Taiji gets in at 15, but then slides out as Sho rushes in. The count pauses and Taiji takes advantage of that. Taiji slowly gets back in, and Sho lets Taiji get up. But then Sho rakes Taiji’s eyes! Sho wants to use his NEVER Openweight Six Man belt? The ref sees that right away and stops Sho!

Sho and the ref fight over the belt, so Sho shoves the ref down. Because he just gets his wrench! But Taiji BOOTS the wrench away! Fans fire up, and Taiji takes the wrench now! Taiji swings it around and Sho shouts to give it back. Taiji does, and Sho says he’s a sucker, but then Taiji pulls another Eddie Guerrero! The ref sees Sho with the wrench, and again Sho has to defend his (partial) innocence! They fight over the wrench, the ref takes it away, and Sho turns around into a BELT SHOT!! Taiji puts his belt back, covers Sho, and wins!!

Winner: Taiji Ishimori, by pinfall (gains 2 points; Sho earns 0)

So much for a clean fight between stablemates! But what else would you expect from Bullet Club? The Bone Soldier stands alone at 4-0 in A Block, will he be a shoe-in for the finals? Will Sho be able to rebound in the next round?

The Rogue Luchador’s first loss in the block, and it’s to “Lind-chan!” Desperado is no longer the top of the block, is his comeback done for already?

As for Lindaman, he gets the mic and triumphantly says, “Lindaman won!” It’s been a long road since Janaury 4th, Tokyo Dome. Oi, Desperado. … Scram, loser! Listen up. You guys know the main event winner gest the honor of closing out the show! As soon as he called me out and I made this Super Junior, I was ready to surpass him. He’s not still here, is he? But as embarrassing as it is to admit it, I’m only here because Desperado called me out. Thank you so much.” Fans applaud that Lindaman was willing to admit that. Lindaman admits it is embarrassing being so open in front of everyone. But besides that, he is thrilled to see this is a packed house tonight.

“And we’re on NJPW World, right? Which camera is it? Okay. NJPW World is making this Korakuen Hall Super Juniors show available for free! That means that more than just the usual NJPW fans are watching, too, right? The free stream is just for today, but how about this Super Juniors? If you know what’s good for you, you’ll sign up now, morons!” Fans applaud, they don’t disagree with that. But GLEAT fans watching NJPW? NJPW fans watching other promotions? It’s all good to Lindaman. Everyone can join in the fun on NJPW World. No passports or Schengen Agreement needed, pro-wrestling fans are free to roam! If you don’t know what the Schengen Agreement is, you’re an idiot!

But what did we all learn today? That Lindaman will be the star of this Super Juniors! And again, the winner closes the show, so how about he does this in GLEAT style? Fans like the sound of that. Lindaman will make it simple, then. He yells out, “Let’s GLEAT” and everyone pumps their fists. Easy, right? Okay, get ready! All good? Ready for a GLEAT finale? He wants to make sure he hears those at home! Did they enjoy today? Okay then, this is the practice run. The real finale is on June 3rd, in Nippon Budokan. He wants to hear everyone! Here goes! “LET’S GLEAT!” Everyone pumps their fist into the air, and the G-Rex Champion is leading B Block into the next round. Will he make the Best of the Super Juniors GLEAT all the way to the end?

My Thoughts:

Yes, this was a GLEAT round and event for the Best of the Super Juniors. But wow, both blocks, all ten matches, all on one card! I know this published real late but I had to carve out quite a bit of time to get this done, so who knows how this will go tomorrow and Thursday. But it was also worth it, because every match brought the absolute best possible out of everyone. There are no more winless entries, but there is only ONE undefeated and that is Taiji Ishimori. That makes a lot of sense with him being THE IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion, and while not the best match of the card, Taiji VS Sho was a lot of fun because of the shenanigans.

Zayne VS Akira was an awesome opener, and this tournament is really showing the world how great Zayne is and how dumb it was for WWE to cut him. Titan VS TJP was great, and I really liked Titan’s entrance gear. His mask was really cool looking, it was like a fusion of the NJPW lion logo and the Mexican flag, and it was really cool that Titan won. That win brought TJP down to the bottom of the block since they’re both 1-3 and Titan has the tiebreaker win, and that is huge. Great comedy mixed with seriousness in Taguchi VS Connors, great win for Yuta to rebound, great win for Ace Austin to stay near the top of the block, and what a great surprise with Douki getting one over on ELP.

Wato VS Eagles was also great, and a great first win in the block for Wato. Great comedy to start Hiromu VS Kanemaru because of Kanemaru shaving, and then it was wild for Kanemaru to just take the fight to Hiromu and his leg. Kanemaru winning by submission was quite the surprise, that win helps Taiji stand alone as the only undefeated entry left, but I believe Kanemaru VS Taiji is next round so that should be pretty wild. At the same time, it was only a matter of time before Hiromu’s first loss in this, it adds some drama to his threepeat story.

And that main event was awesome stuff, Lindaman continues to be a house of fire and he has such great charisma. It was a great move for him to win, it adds drama to Desperado’s comeback and it’s a great way for NJPW to work with GLEAT. Lindaman has a great closing promo to further the crossover deals with NJPW, GLEAT and other promotions, I can’t wait to see how far Lindaman goes.

My Score: 9.1/10

I came to AEW to collect titles. I’m a 30-year-old piece of gold, and I pray that the people I call friends get on the same page. Backstage interview with Kris Statlander.

Renee Paquette is with the #BornAgainKristen and says that we’re just one week away from Kris VS Mercedes Mone for the TBS Championship at Full Gear. Things have already gotten out of control, from Mone & Kamille trying to run Kris over with a car, and then Kris tackles them through a wall. Once the bell rings, what can we expect? Kris says, “Anything and everything.” Mone is one of the best, will do anything she can to win, and is most dangerous when she’s cornered, where she is right now. Everything she’s tried hasn’t worked because Kris is still standing. Kris will be the one standing tall as the NEW TBS Champion.

In steps Hikaru Shida with enthusiastic applause. The Shining Samurai tells Kris that she just wants to wish her luck. It’s about time someone beats Mone’s boney ass! And when Kris becomes the new champion, Shida will gladly be her first challenger. Kris says alright, sure. But here’s another idea: Kris is always open for a challenge any time, especially against #HolyShida, the only THREE-TIME AEW Women’s World Champion. So how about this? Wednesday Night Dynamite, Shida VS Kris. Shida’s all for it! They shake hands, but will fighting Shida be a little too much before going to Full Gear? Or will it prove Kris is still The Galaxy’s Greatest?

Bowens says for Lexy’s actual question, Billy will be here. What Caster was trying to say is that The Acclaimed do feel great, because they are one match away from joining that Fatal 4, where they will become TWO-TIME AEW World Tag Team Champions in the Scissor King’s home state of New Jersey!

And when they win, The Acclaimed will celebrate with one big scissoring, because EVERYONE LOVES THE ACCLAIMED! Ain’t that right, Lexy? Oh, wait, MVP steps in, Shelton Benjamin by his side. PROGRAMMING NOTE for next week!

With Full Gear being next Saturday, November 23rd, Collision takes a week off! We’ll see everyone back here in two weeks on November 30th!

Backstage interview with Mina Shirakawa.

Lexy is with the Fighting Gravure Idol and congratulates her on her win in her return. Mina says yes, she is so back to have come back here, and she is so excited for Mariah’s match. Lexy says Mina already has multiple championships, is AEW gold on her mind at all? Mina says she’s just excited for Mariah’s match. But that’s not a no… Time to dance! Mina shimmies her way on out, but will she end up wanting something more than just fun with her friend?

Backstage interview with The Conglomeration.

Lexy is now with Mark Briscoe, Rocky Romero & Tomohiro Ishii, and she notes that in a couple weeks, Dynamite: Thanksgiving Eve, it will be Tomohiro Ishii VS Chris Jericho for the ROH World Championship. How is Ishii feeling? The Stone Pitbull is stone-faced, so Mark Briscoe “translates” what #BigTom is exuding with his aura. This is what he’s trying to say: Jericho, your days are numbered! You better shine that title up real nice, sleep with it real close, because soon, it’s getting up outta there! “Learning Tree my ass, you about to learn a lesson about humility! You about to learn a lesson about gettin’ your ass whooped!”

Mark asks if they understand what he’s saying, and Rocky says yeah, he’s picking up what Mark’s putting down. Rocky’s digging the energy, and he feels the intensity. But he has to know one thing: What is the word of the day? That’s a hell of a question, Rocky, because today, it is a menagerie of words! Take a basket, reach in, pull out the word of the day, and well, it’s tenacious! Tenacity! Ferocious! Velocity! Ferocity! He’s tellin’ ya, long story short, that title is coming back to the Conglomeration, courtesy of Tomohiro Ishii! Jericho, you gettin’ your ass whooped, son! RARARARA!

Mark may be fire on the outside, but Ishii is fire on the inside. Will The Learning Tree be burned down either way?

Backstage interview with FTR.

Lexy notes that this past Wednesday, Cash Wheeler & Dax Harwood came up short in their own Full Gear Contenders Series match. Where are their heads out right now? Cash says he wishes he had an answer, because he doesn’t really know. FTR doesn’t know where they go from here. They wish it was just one bad night, but the truth of the matter is, FTR lost those titles a little over a year ago and have had chances to get them back where they just haven’t. Maybe it’s FTR. Maybe their time has passed them. Maybe they need to reevaluate. Dax agrees. But on Dynamite, the better team won on that night.

While FTR could cry about it, or they could rebuild. Therefore, they will rebuild. This may not be FTR’s time, but it is someone’s time. It is The Outrunners’ time! And maybe after Full Gear, we get an FTRunners dream match for those titles. Boys, they’re pulling for you. Speaking of, we’re about to hear from The Outrunners right now!

The Outrunners speak.

Truth Magnum & Turbo Floyd have another retro style video in old standard definition, saying they’ve got the looks and the attitude, so you know they’ve got “the stuff!” It’s a highlight reel of their match with Top Flight, even using retro graphics in the editing. You gotta have the meat! And right now, they’re sizzling! But will Truth & Turbo be prime A1 material at Full Gear? Or will they end up well done?

AEW Women’s World Championship No Disqualifications Match: Mariah May VS Anna Jay!

And as if No Disqualifications isn’t raising the stakes enough, Anna promises that if she loses, this is the last time she challenges Mariah for the title! Will this last chance be just the chance Anna needs to become The Star of the Show? Or will AEW still be All About Mariah?

The fans fire up as Anna keeps going, and she sits the chair up nearby. Anna drags Mariah up, but Mariah fires body shots! DDT onto the chair! Anna falls back while Mariah snarls. Mariah grabs the trash can and puts it around Anna! Mariah drums on the can, then goes to a corner.

Mariah climbs, Anna stands, and Mariah MISSILE DROPKICKS Anna down! Cover, TWO! Anna survives but Mariah just goes outside to look under the ring. The fans fire up in anticipation, and Mariah grins as she brings out a LADDER! Mariah pushes that ladder into the ring, stomps Anna around, then drags the ladder up. The ladder is propped up in a corner, then whips Anna, but Anna reverses! Mariah avoids hitting the ladder, but Anna has the QUEENSLAYER SLEEPER! Mariah flails, reaches out, but Anna hops on as a backpack! Only for Mariah to SENTON onto the ladder!

The fans fire up while both women are down, and Collision goes picture in picture.

Mariah sputters and coughs while she crawls to ropes. Mariah rolls out of the ring and hurries to look under the ring again. Mariah brings out a new chair, but Anna has brought out one of her own! They each slide the chairs in, and then they add more chairs! And more chairs! So many chairs! They both storm in, armed with chairs, and they CLASH! Mariah is disarmed, so Anna SMACKS her down! Anna goes for her duffel bag! Anna brings out… a crowbar, a wrench, wire, a chain, but she wants the PRYBAR! Mariah ROCKS Anna first, then THRWOS her down onto the chairs! Mariah stomps Anna, then sees all the goodies Anna brought!

The ladder doesn’t break but Mariah’s face might have! Cover, TWO!! The Vendetta is still watching, and while Taya is very animated, Deonna is very stoic. Anna goes out to look under the ring. Mariah is free, and she reels Anna in, STORM ZERO on a chair!! Cover, Mariah wins!!

Winner: Mariah May, by pinfall (still AEW Women’s World Champion)

Taya is upset but Deonna says it’s alright. Anna and Mariah pushed each other to their limits, but also to some dark places. The Glamour is still atop the AEW Women’s Division, and here comes Mina! Best friends get to celebrate Mariah’s victory, and then Mariah KICKS ANna in the side! Mina says no, Mariah, you already did enough! Mariah accepts that, and BREAKING NEWS from Tony Khan: Now that Mariah has retained her title, she and Mina will have their championship champagne celebration for Full Gear! Will no one ever stop Mariah’s reign of glamour?

Jon Moxley speaks.

The Maniac is with Marina Shafir in the parking lot as he says, “I’ve underestimated Orange Cassidy. I’ve pushed him in the ring before, but this sport’s about so much more than what goes on between the ropes. I thought when I broke Chuck Taylor’s neck, one of two things would happen: Either he would turn into a shaky puddle of tears, and I’d walk right over him; or he’d be backed into a corner and he’s snap back, bringing the animal out of Orange Cassidy. Neither of those two things happened, and now I see it for the first time. I don’t think he even went to the hospital with Chuck Taylor.

“He acts like he’s so sad, and that young Wheeler’s traveled down a path he doesn’t approve of, but he doesn’t care. He’s full of it. Now I see it for the first time. I can’t believe I didn’t see it before. Orange Cassidy is a snake. Cold-blooded, reptilian, unnerved. The test will be this Wednesday, when you face your beloved former student who you claim to care about. Will you strike with venomous intent? Or will you keep it clean? Cold-blooded opponent, that is a different challenge entirely, this is gonna be harder than I thought. But man, I wish I was cold-blooded. But I’m not. No. I feel everything.

“Not just the weight of the AEW World Championship, but I feel the weight of the last five years. I feel the weight of the dreams and aspirations of every single wrestler who walks through these doors. I feel the weight of everybody’s mistakes and broken promises. I feel the weight of every single AEW fan who buys a ticket and pays for parking, and takes off work, and gives us their hard-earned money, and time, and energy, because AEW is something they believe in! What AEW could be! You don’t like the way I do things? November 23rd, you’re gonna have a chance.

“Lop my head off. Let it hit the dirt and roll at your feet. Reach down and pick up that crown, put it on your head. See if you like how it feels. At Full Gear, I smear Orange Cassidy’s blood on our flag, and I plant it in the ground so hard, it will never get moved. You wanna ride with me? You wanna ride in MY AEW? We ride into battle every single day to grab pro-wrestling by the balls, and you better be ready to die on your shield every single day! And if you’re not, get out. Or you will get taken out.” The Maniac has issued his ultimatum, will Freshly Squeezed heed it?

AEW Collision wraps with the November to Remember music video.

Set to November Rain by Guns ‘n’ Roses, we look back even as far as the last time Jon Moxley and Orange Cassidy feuded, which included their battle over the AEW International Championship at Full Gear 2023. There are also highlights to hype up the TNT Championship match of Jack Perry VS Daniel Garcia, and the long-awaited grudge match between Jay White and Hangman Page. Who will truly make this a November to Remember when they stand tall in the November rain?

My Thoughts:

A great Collision, and I forgot that this counts as the go-home Collision with Full Gear next week. The music video recap package to end the show is really well done, and makes a good ending moment, but then it makes other promos a little redundant. Honestly, why not wait to use this as the cold open to Full Gear next Saturday? This would be an awesome PPV opening video. And good closing promo from Moxley, with good spin on Cassidy’s aloof nature. Maybe Cassidy’s cold, or maybe he’s in control of his emotions. I suppose Cassidy VS Yuta on Dynamite will give some of that away.

Great stuff with the TNT Championship story. Garcia VS Johnny was a really good match, even with MXM getting involved. Perry abducting Menard in an attempt to tow him behind the bus was wild, but I like how Garcia turned the tables on Perry. I kinda wish we got a little more of their “joyride” through Albany and New York, but maybe we get more of that on Dynamite. Either way, it feels like Garcia already has the “standing tall” part of the go-home math, meaning he loses at Full Gear. Maybe Perry will cheat his way out of the match so that Garcia can still be strong in defeat.

Really good match from Shelton and Komander but of course Shelton won. Good promo from Hurt Syndicate with The Acclaimed to keep up the recruit tease, and very good match from Acclaimed VS LFI. Good win for The Acclaimed, and you can bet that the Fatal 4 Way will be the straw that breaks the camel’s back. Caster was even distancing himself in his own way here, with not wanting to scissor finger before the match and other little details. Caster can turn on Bowens and join the Hurt Syndicate to start on a singles championship story with them. Lio Rush likely will, too, given his promo.

Very good promo from Conglomeration to hype up Thanksgiving Eve and the ROH World Championship match of Ishii VS Jericho. Still doesn’t feel like Jericho’s losing, though, as he really only just got the title and there’s still this idea of Jericho being responsible for ROH getting a TV deal. Y’know, the same way he’s kayfabe responsible for Collision happening so that he could be on another show separate from… Whoever he was feuding with back then. Very good promo from Roddy to call out MJF, though he literally says he’ll talk more on Dynamite so what was the point of tonight? Just filling time?

Great match for Hobbs to get back on a winning track in singles action, and the “All Star 8 Man” on Wednesday will be great stuff. I feel like Brian Cage or Lance Archer takes the loss in that match, giving momentum to Ricochet and Ospreay going into each of the Full Gear grudge matches. With that, Ricochet maybe pulls off the International Championship win, but Ospreay probably does not win because of Don Callis Family cheating. As for Hobbs himself, The Continental Classic is coming, maybe he gets in on that and really dominates. Hobbs and Okada would be a lot of fun to see, I kinda hope we get that.

Great opener from Mina VS Harley as Harley continues to build her in-ring skill and impress. I like Mina kinda dodging the question about titles here in AEW, because she doesn’t wanna give away that she wants THE AEW Women’s World Championship. Mariah VS Anna was a great main event, they really busted out some good stuff. Mariah using the hair spray was a very clever way to turn things around and help her win. Mariah and Mina having their celebration on Full Gear, I feel like that’s the moment things go sideways in this friendship.

My Score: 8.8/10

The Shining Samurai continues her comeback, looking to carve a path back to a championship. Or will Shida use Leila as just another tune-up?

The bell rings, the two circle, and the fans rally up. The two tie up, Leila wrenches and wristlocks to YANK the arm. Leila keeps on the wristlock but Shida handsprings and wrenches back. Shida hammerlocks, headlocks, but Leila fires body shots. Leila powers up and out, but Shida runs Leila over! The fans fire up, and things keep moving. Shida rolls over Leila’s dropdown, then bypasses Leila. Leila stops the hip toss to fire body shots and knees! Leila goes to run but Shida reels her in. Shida lifts with the waistlock, and she swings Leila around, before the SLAM! The fans fire up with Shida and she goes outside.

Shida brings Leila to the apron, CLUBS her, then lines up a shot. Shida runs in to KNEE LIFT! The fans fire up again and Shida hurries back in. Shida suplexes for the FALCON ARROW! Cover, Shida wins!

Winner: Hikaru Shida, by pinfall

Leila kicks at 3.1, that’s too little too late! Will Leila at least last ten minutes against Athena next week? Will Shida be the one poised for a title shot after Full Gear?

Backstage interview with Harley Cameron.

Renee Paquette is with the crazy Aussie, who keeps pawing at her, and brings up the match Harley’s made for Collision with Mina Shirakawa. Harley asks Renee, does she know what Mina has that Harley doesn’t? No, what is it? NOTHING!! Mina is beautiful, charismatic, and talented. But can she do THIS?! Harley brings out a guitar and starts to play! Harley was a musician, y’know. Oh, wait, there’s a string missing. Never mind, she’s professional! Harley starts adlibbing a Blues-esque song. There once was a little girl. And by “little,” Harley doesn’t mean young child, she means just small in stature.

Anyway, and a five, six, seven, eight! Renee stops Harley there, there’s no time. What?! No! FEEL THE WRATH OF HARLEY CAM- The cameras cut away back to ringside, but will Harley show Mina and the world everything she’s capable of tomorrow night on Collision?

Mark Briscoe VS Ariya Daivari w/ Mark Sterling!

While Chris Jericho keeps disrespecting the legacy of Jay Briscoe, it will be Tomohiro Ishii that handles him. Tonight, the Sussex County Chicken is to focus on himself and the Premier Athletes’ son of privilege. “Smart” Mark takes over introductions by saying Ariya Daivari is about to wrestle “literally the dumbest person in AEW.” Mark is so stupid, really. So please, show the world that Bridgeport is smarter than a Briscoe by reading what is right on the Premier Athletes’ brand new merch shirt: Athletes Rule. Daivari says when he says “Athletes,” the fans should say, “Rule!” and NOTHING ELSE! Got it!?

Okay, hands in. Ohhh… “ATHLETES!” “SUCK!!” Briscoe laughs because the only dumb Mark here is Mark Sterling. But will Briscoe prove that what matters in the ring is street smarts? Or can Daivari prove that Premier Athletes don’t suck?

The bell rings and Briscoe circles with Daivari. They tie up as fans rally, and Briscoe pushes Daivari back. Daivari turns things around to put Briscoe in a corner, and lets off as the ref counts. Daivari shouts, “ATHLETES!” but fans again shout “SUCK!!” Briscoe SHOVES Daivari down and the fans fire up. Briscoe and Daivari circle, tie up, and Briscoe headlocks. Daivari powers up and out, but Briscoe runs him over! The fans fire up and things keep moving. Daivari drops down, Briscoe slides under, and then Briscoe REDNECK KUNG-FU UPPERCUTS! And ROLLING ELBOWS! The fans fire up more while sterling protests.

Briscoe whips Daivari, then UPPERCUTS again! The fans fire up as Daivari goes to a corner. Briscoe storms up to bring Daivari around, for a suplex high and hard! Cover, TWO! Daivari is tougher than that so Briscoe shrugs it off. Briscoe fires hands, Daivari staggers around, but Briscoe CHOPS him in a corner! Briscoe then REDNECK CRANE KICKS! The fans fire up and Briscoe brings Daivari up, but Daivari JAWBREAKERS back! Daivari TOSSES Briscoe out, but the ref has Sterling stay back. Daivari goes out to get Briscoe, but Briscoe sends Daivari into railing! The fans fire up while Daivari writhes, and Briscoe stands him up.

Briscoe CHOPS Daivari, high-fives fans, then CHOPS Daivari again. Briscoe then brings Daivari around to SMACK off a chair! The fans fire up as Briscoe makes Daivari take a seat. Briscoe refreshes the count, then runs up to BOOT Daivari down! The fans fire up more, and Briscoe UPPERCUTS Daivari again. Daivari goes to more railing but Briscoe CHOPS him down again. Briscoe tosses a chair into the ring, HEADBUTTS Daivari, then slides into the ring. Briscoe sets up the chair and the fans fire up! Sterling panics as Briscoe builds speed, so Sterling snatches the chair away! The fans boo but Briscoe goes out after Sterling!

Sterling defends his innocence but Daivari CLUBS Briscoe! And hits a NECKBREAKER on the floor! “ATHLETES!” “SUCK!!” Well, clearly Sterling doesn’t learn, but Daivari is control as Rampage goes picture in picture.

Daivari drags Briscoe up and into the ring, then grabs the legs, so he can stomp Briscoe’s gut! Briscoe sputters his way to a corner but Daivari digs his boots in! The ref counts, Sterling cheers, but Daivari lets off. Daivari argues with the ref, so Sterling CHOKES Briscoe! The fans boo but Sterling gets away with it. Daivari whips Briscoe hard into a corner! Briscoe sits down, and Daivari stomps him some more! Daivari snapmares Briscoe, KNEES him in the back, then clamps on a neck wrench. The ref reprimands the fishhook in there, but Daivari shifts to a chinlock. Daivari grinds Briscoe down, but Briscoe endures.

Fans rally up and Briscoe fights to his feet. Rampage returns to single picture as Briscoe fires body shots! Briscoe fires forearms but Daivari knees low! Daivari CLAWS Briscoe’s face, puts him in a corner, then hoists him up top. The fans rally for “DEM BOYS! DEM BOYS!” but Daivari CHOPS Briscoe. Daivari climbs up, brings Briscoe up, but Briscoe fires body shots! Briscoe DECKS Daivari, the fans fire up, but Sterling springs into action! The ref reprimands, Sterling argues with him, and Daivari runs up! Briscoe leaps over Daivari, but Daivari dodges the boot! SLEEPER! The fans boo but Briscoe RAMS Daivari into a corner!

Daivari holds on but Briscoe RAMS him in again and again! Briscoe is finally free, but Daivari then hammerlocks! LION’S LARIAT! And then a wrench, spin, LION’S DDT! Cover, TWO!! Briscoe survives Daivari’s double down and the fans fire up! Daivari throws hands but Briscoe feeds off it! The fans fire up as Briscoe mans up! Daivari headlocks, Briscoe powers out, but Daivari RAMS Briscoe! Briscoe roars! Daivari runs and RAMS Briscoe again! And again! Then Daivari fires hands! But Briscoe blocks to ROCK Daivari! And ROCK him again! And again! REDNECK PALM STRIKES! Briscoe puts Daivari in a corner!

Briscoe rains down fists and the fans count to TEN! Briscoe hops down, the fans fire up, and Briscoe CLOBBERS Daivari! And CLOBBERS him again! Briscoe whips, Daivari reverses, but Briscoe FLYING FOREARMS! The fans fire up with Briscoe and he runs at the corner. LARIAT, and then FISHERMAN BUSTER! Cover, TWO!! Daivari survives but Briscoe calls his shot! Briscoe drags Daivari up, reels him in, but Daivari fights the underhooks! Daivari wrenches, dodges a lariat, and SUPERKICKS! Briscoe wobbles, but he eggs Daivari on! Daivari runs up, into a ROLLING DEATH VALLEY! Daivari is down and Briscoe climbs up!

Sterling distracts Briscoe, and Daivari has time to hit the ropes! That trips Briscoe up! Briscoe tumbles to the m at, and Daivari hauls Briscoe up. Wait, Daivari underhooks the arms?! That’s blasphemy! But Briscoe powers up and out with a backdrop! And now Briscoe brings Daivari in, only for Sterling to get on the apron! The ref reprimands, Briscoe warns Sterling, but it’s ROCKY ROMERO that YANKS Sterling down! Daivari whips Briscoe, Briscoe reverses to TOSS Daivari! Rocky gets Briscoe the chair! Briscoe sets it up, and he takes FLIGHT! Down goes Daivari & Sterling! Briscoe puts Daivari in, climbs up, FROGGY-BOW!! Cover, Briscoe wins!

Winner: Mark Briscoe, by pinfall

The Conglomeration comes through for each other again, and that helps Briscoe win! But Azucar has his own match tonight, will he be feeling even sweeter after taking on Komander?

Who business could MVP and The Hurt Syndicate have here? Rocky and Komander tie up, Komander wrenches and wristlocks. Rocky rolls then DROPKICKS! Rocky gives some Latino Heat, then waits on Komander. The two reset, circle, and tie up again. Rocky waistlocks, SLAMS, then flips Komander, maybe a little too much. Rocky flips Komander over again but Komander kips up to arm-drag! Komander gives some Latino Heat of his own, and Rocky can’t help but smile.

The fans rally as Komander and Rocky feel things out. They knuckle lock, go shoulder to shoulder, and the fans cheer the Test of Strength. Rocky powers Komander back, then MONKEY FLIPS! Rocky rolls back but Komander blocks the mount to then go up and MONKEY FLIP back! It’s a double cover, TWO as both men bridge! The fans cheer this exchange, and the two roll to their feet. MVP nods, maybe he saw things not even he expected out of this match. Will Komander prove he’s not just worthy of MVP’s attention but of AEW’s attention? And with it, perhaps a title opportunity?

Backstage interview with Anna Jay.

Lexy Nair is with The Queenslayer and notes her AEW Women’s World Championship match set for Collision tomorrow night. It is No Disqualifications, and if Anna wins, she is the NEW champion. But if she loses… Anna will never challenge Mariah May for the title again. Anna says it is worth that risk. It is worth seeing Mariah’s eyes bulging out of her head until she passes out. With no rules, Anna is capable of anything. But in steps Taya Valkyrie, applauding and saying yes, Anna is capable of anything. But so is Mariah. And Mina Shirakawa could be anywhere. Maybe Anna wants some extra insurance? And by the way, The Vendetta does accept cash.

Anna says she can handle her business, so Taya can mind her own. Taya tells Anna okay, okay. But Deonna Purrazzo sends her regards. Stay safe out there. Anna says no, she won’t. Will Anna finally be The Star of the Show when she tears down Mariah? Or will The Virtuosa & La Wera Loca have something to say about that?

Rush & The Beast Mortos w/ Dralistico VS Alex Price & Richard Holliday!

Just 24 hours ahead of their Collision with The Acclaimed, La Faccion Ingobernable’s two bulls are looking to stampede! Will they be more than ready for the Full Gear Contenders Series?

Holliday bails out but Rush pursues. Rush CHOPS, then throws Holliday into railing. Rush dribbles Holliday off the railing, rains down fists, but the ref counts. Rush says leave him alone, but the ref warns him. Rush stops, then he puts Holliday in the ring. Rush snarls and storms back into the ring. Mortos CHOKES Holliday, the ref reprimands, but this lets Dralistico throw Price into steel steps! Rush whips Holliday corner to corner hard!

Rush DECKS Holliday with a forearm, stomps away on him, and goes corner to corner! “If you mess with the bull…!” BULL’S HORNS! Cover, LFI wins!

This probably could’ve been over soon, but LFI likes to play with their food. But will they be much more to the point against Max Caster & Anthony Bowens?

Backstage interview with MVP.

Lexy is with Montel Vontavious Porter and brings up how he’s been watching matches here and there. Is he scouting talent? Absolutely! And as he’s been getting the lay of the land here in AEW, MVP sees so many young and gifted athletes with so much untapped potential. Some of them need motivation. Some need perhaps better management. And some just need to be hurt, beaten down again and again, to their knees. Because only when you’ve broken a man down to his knees can you teach him to stand and put him on the path to success. MVP says Swerve Strickland is a perfect example. So much to learn and yet he just won’t listen.

That is arrogance. It is that arrogance that the fans love, but it is also Swerve’s greatest weakness. Swerve thinks that one man can beat three. That is arrogance. Swerve calls himself the most dangerous man in AEW. With Bobby Lashley and Shelton Benjamin around, that is arrogance. And arrogance, like pride, goeth before the fall. So MVP is paying attention to everything. For example, tonight, where MVP will be watching Ricochet in the main event. Oh, and that young luchador, Komander, what an impressive match. MVP likes that. And then tomorrow night on Collision, Shelton will find out exactly what Komander is made of, and what lessons he needs to learn.

The business plan has been set out, but will The Hurt Syndicate find the diamonds in the rough they are looking for? Or is it all fool’s gold compared to what they already have?

BREAKING NEWS for Collision!

On top of Shelton Benjamin VS Komander, and on top of the AEW Women’s World Championship No Disqualification match, Will Hobbs gets back into singles action as he takes on Bulk Bronson! With that All Star 8 Man Tag coming up, will going big be just the thing to power up the Powerhouse? Plus, relive the best of the last two weeks as the special AEW “November to Remember” music video debuts, set to Guns ‘n’ Roses’ hit song, November Rain!

Ricochet VS Dante Martin!

MVP just told the world he is watching this match, but surely so is The Don Callis Family. Will The One & Only show them something #OuttaThisWorld? Or will Angel Dorado remind us why he was the hottest high flyer not too long ago?

The bell rings and the fans rally up. Ricochet and Dante shake hands to show there is respect here. They circle, tie up, and Ricochet headlocks for a takeover. Dante headscissors but Ricochet moves around, rolls Dante, then floats to a headlock. Dante fights back up, but Ricochet wrenches to wristlock. Dante goes for ropes but Ricochet keeps him back. Ricochet continues to keep Dante from the ropes, so Dante just front flips on his own! Dante arm-drags free and the fans fire up! Dante and Ricochet hurry to their feet, but Dante knees low! Dante whips but Ricochet blocks and reels Dante in for a back suplex, only for Dante to land on his feet!

Dante bobs ‘n’ weaves, shoves Ricochet, but Ricochet avoids the dropkick! Jackknife bridge, TWO as Dante bridges up! Dante spins Ricochet, but Ricochet turns that to a backslide! TWO, and Ricochet whips. Dante leaps for a sunset flip! Ricochet stays up, tucks Dante for a sunset flip of his own, TWO! Dante swings, Ricochet dodges and rolls back to RANA, but both men get up! Ricochet DROPKICKS Dante down and the fans fire up! We get a shot of MVP once again liking what he sees. Dante goes to a corner, Ricochet runs up, but Dante slips out! Ricochet hits buckles, then Dante goes up, around, and ROCKS Ricochet!

Dante aims but Ricochet runs up. Dante jumps over as Ricochet slides out, and then Dante ASAI MOONSAULTS! Ricochet avoids it, Dante lands on his feet, and now Ricochet goes up a corner to MOONSAULT! Dante dodges and he JUMP KNEES! Ricochet sputters as he leans against the apron, and Dante slides in. Dante keeps moving, but Ricochet springboards! Dante ducks under, runs at Ricochet, but Ricochet goes up and over! Dante puts Ricochet on the apron but Ricochet ENZIGIRIS! Ricochet springboards again, FLYING LARIAT! Cover, TWO! Dante survives and the fans fire up as Rampage goes picture in picture.

Dante rolls to the apron but Ricochet goes right after him. Ricochet kicks Dante to the floor, then hops down to fetch him. Ricochet CHOPS Dante, ROCKS him, and Dante staggers around the way. Ricochet fires up the fans, but Dante DAREDEVIL DROPKICKS Ricochet through the corner! Now it’s Dante firing up the fans as he goes after Ricochet. Dante brings Ricochet around to CHOP against the desk! Dante puts Ricochet in the ring, fires back up, and he hurries in, only for Ricochet to CLOBBER him. Ricochet drops another elbow, and another! Dante flounders but Ricochet drags him up. Ricochet CHOPS Dante to a corner.

Ricochet UPPERCUTS Dante, then whips corner to corner. Dante hits buckles so hard, that he tumbles up and over, then to the floor! Ricochet lets the ring count climb a bit, and Dante stirs at 4 of 10. Dante rises, Ricochet eggs him on a bit, but Dante’s still down at 7 of 10. Dante stands at 8 and rolls in, only for Ricochet to drop knees! Ricochet rains down some fists, but the ref reprimands about closes fists. Ricochet swears he was using palm strikes. Ricochet drags Dante up, snapmares, and KICKS him in the back! Ricochet clamps on with a chinlock, and even traps an arm. Ricochet now shifts into a grounded cobra twist!

Dante endures, even as Ricochet throws punches into the ribs. Dante fights, rises up, and fires body shots! Ricochet CHOPS in return! Ricochet then scoops and SLAMS Dante, and Rampage returns to single picture as he climbs a corner. The fans fire up as Ricochet reaches the top, but Dante stands! Ricochet jumps over Dante, but Dante BOOTS him! Dante fires a flurry of forearms but Ricochet shoves him back. Ricochet runs up, Dante again slips to the outside, and Dante ROCKS Ricochet again. Dante springboards up and around for a CARTWHEEL CROSSBODY! Cover, TWO!! Ricochet survives, he runs at Dante, but Dante goes up and over!

Ricochet tumbles out as Dante then builds speed, and Dante DIVES! Direct hit at the ramp but Dante hurries to put Ricochet in. Springboard and MAMBA SPLASH! Cover, TWO!! Ricochet survives and the fans rally up again. Dante waits on Ricochet to rise up, then he half nelsons. Lift and- NO, Ricochet slips free to dragon sleeper! VERTI- NO, Dante slips free! Ricochet arm-drags Dante away, then catches him, Wrench and NORTHERN LIGHTS! Roll through, deadlift, BRAINBUSTER! Ricochet roars while fans are torn, RUNNING SHOOTING STAR! Cover, TWO!! Dante survives and Ricochet is surprised!

MVP is himself a bit frustrated, but Ricochet fireman’s carries. Dante fires elbows, slips free, and goes to run, but Ricochet SUPERKICKS! Ricochet runs up, into an ELBOW! Dante uses the same up and over, only to get caught! BLUE THUNDER BOMB! Cover, TWO!! Dante survives and Ricochet snarls. The fans fire up and Ricochet brings Dante up. Ricochet has the dragon sleeper, but Dante fires knees! Dante drops, victory rolls, TWO!! Ricochet catches Dante for a deadlift SAIDO!! The fans fire up as Ricochet takes aim! BANG and SPIRIT GUN!! Cover, Ricochet wins!

Winner: Ricochet, by pinfall

MVP nods, very impressed by The One & Only Ricochet. Ricochet’s arsenal certainly continues to grow, but he still shows respect to Dante. Will this momentum help Ricochet’s team take down The Don Callis Family this Wednesday Night Dynamite?

My Thoughts:

A very good Rampage, even with it being a five match night. Granted, it was clear Shida was going to win her match and LFI were going to win theirs. Well, so was Briscoe, but it was good stuff with Daivari getting a good showing and Rocky cancelling out Sterling so Briscoe would win. Great match from Rocky and Komander, too, and great win for Komander. Though, as MVP plugged in his promo, Komander is certainly losing to Shelton Benjamin, but I do appreciate the idea that anyone just floating around in the midcard could end up Hurt Syndicate material.

Ricochet VS Dante was a great main event, Ricochet of course won, but between being on Team Ospreay for Dynamite and Hurt Syndicate not leaving him alone, there are all kinds of possibilities for Ricochet. And great promos to hype up the two women’s matches we’re getting on Collision. That’s right, we’re getting two women’s matches! Harley continues to be hilarious, and I like this gag that she never has enough time to get her full madness out. Very good promo from Anna with Taya making a surprise appearance. Given Mariah is more than likely to win tomorrow night, Anna needs something outside of titles so I suppose a feud with The Vendetta could be something. Maybe it’s also a way to bring Tay Conti/Tay Melo back into story since it’d be a tag team feud?

My Score: 8.7/10
