We got a Six Man Tag on Rampage, but now we get a Freshly Squeezed 1v1 match! Will Cassidy get another win like on Friday? Or will he get another Lethal Injection like on Friday?

It’s of note that though Sonjay Dutt & Satnam Singh are allowed to walk out with Lethal, they have to return to the back, this is to be a true one on one match! The bell rings and fans rally up as Cassidy has Lethal hold on. Fans chant for “Freshly Squeezed!” as Cassidy raises his hands, and puts them- NO, Lethal rushes in! Cassidy gets around him, rolls Lethal up, ONE! Cassidy headlocks and grinds, but Lethal powers out. Cassidy runs Lethal over! Cover, ONE, and Cassidy has the headlock again. Cassidy wants the ref to ask Lethal, but Lethal’s not tapping to just a headlock! Lethal wrenches out to headlock Cassidy back.

Cassidy powers out, Lethal runs him over but Cassidy kangaroo kicks him away. Lethal arm-drags, Cassidy arm-drags, then Cassidy avoids the arm-drag! Fans fire up as the hands go in the pockets! Lethal is furious and he swings on Cassidy. Cassidy dodges but the elbow hits. Lethal handsprings, Cassidy doges and jumps over. Lethal handsprings again, into a SHOTGUN! No hands kip-up! Fans fire up with Cassidy and he builds speed to DIVE! Direct hit at the ramp and down goes Lethal! Fans fire up as Cassidy fires the shin kicks on Lethal as he crawls up the ramp! Fans fire up more, but Lethal just scurries away to avoid Sweet Shin Music!

Satnam walks back out on stage to stare Cassidy down. Lethal ROCKS Cassidy, TOSSES him down the ramp, but Best Friends walk out, pulling off the ol’ trench coat trick! Satnam isn’t falling for it and Best Friends back up. Sonjay hurries out to stop things from breaking down, and Cassidy tosses Lethal into the ring! CROSSBODY! Cassidy keeps moving, tilt-o-whirl but no DDT! DRAGON SCREW! Cassidy writhes and flounders out of the ring and Lethal pursues. Lethal drags Cassidy to the steps to STOMP the foot! And again! And again! Cassidy writhes while fans boo and the ref reprimands. Lethal gets in the ring but exits out again.

Lethal moves the steel steps, puts Cassidy’s leg in between it and the ring, and then stomps Cassidy down. Fans boo, but Lethal DROPKICKS the steps! Cassidy clutches his crushed leg and the ref checks on him while AEW goes picture in picture.

Lethal gets in the ring to soak up the heat, as well as mock Cassidy’s pain. Cassidy tries to stand, but Lethal goes out to put him in the ring. Lethal gets the bad leg, stomps the thigh, then drags Cassidy to JAM the leg against his knee. Cover, TWO! Cassidy grimaces but Lethal drags him up. Cassidy shoves Lethal away but Lethal CLUBS him. Lethal stands Cassidy up, to hit a SHIN BREAKER! And then another SHIN BREAKER! And then a third SHIN BREAKER! Cassidy writhes and Lethal dusts off his hands, proud of his work. Cassidy goes to the apron but Lethal pursues. Lethal stands on the bad leg and stomps it at the ropes! Lethal drags Cassidy to a cover, TWO!

Lethal argues the count but the ref says it was fair. Lethal drags Cassidy by the leg and works to turn him! Cassidy gets the ROPEBREAK first, so Lethal KICKS him while he lets go. Lethal then drags Cassidy around, and puts the leg on the ropes. Lethal HIP DROPS on the leg! Lethal mocks the fans clapping for Cassidy, before he HIP DROPS the leg again! Cassidy scrambles away to a corner but Lethal storms up after him. Lethal drags Cassidy up, trips him and “WOO~!” as Dynamite returns to single picture. But Cassidy kicks Lethal away! Lethal stomps Cassidy down, Cassidy kicks back, but Lethal basement dropkicks!

Lethal drags Cassidy by that leg, but Cassidy kicks him away! Cassidy is in a corner, he dodges Lethal, and runs in, only to be put on the apron! Cassidy bobs ‘n’ weaves, bumps Lethal off buckles, then goes up top, But Lethal ROCKS Cassidy first! Lethal climbs up, SUPER DRAGON SCREW!! And then the FIGURE FOUR LEGLOCK!! Cassidy endures while fans rally, and Cassidy manages to roll to the ROPEBREAK! Lethal lets off at 4, then drags Cassidy up on the apron. Fans rally but Lethal blows a kiss to the crowd. But Cassidy fights the suplex! Lethal gets Cassidy up the next time, Cassidy hits STUN-DOG MILLIONAIRE!

Lethal wobbles, Cassidy rolls back to tilt-o-whirl, but Lethal blocks that to a LETHAL COMBINATION! Cover, TWO! Fans fire up but Lethal drags Cassidy to the drop zone. Lethal goes up top but Cassidy rolls away to the far side! Fans fire up as Cassidy eggs Lethal on! Lethal storms over, but Cassidy YANKS him into buckles! Lethal gets up but Cassidy elbows him away! Cassidy goes up but Lethal CHOPS him first! Fans rally for “Freshly Squeezed!” Cassidy fights off Lethal with CLUBBING forearms and fans fire up! Lethal drops, Cassidy stands, DEEP IMPACT! Fans are thunderous as Lethal survives! Cassidy throws off his armbands! Cassidy goes to a corner, takes aim and runs, but the bad leg gives out! Cassidy falls and Lethal laughs at him. Lethal drags Cassidy up, but Cassidy manages a BEACH BREAK! Cover, TWO!!! Lethal survives again!! Cassidy grits his teeth and goes back to the corner as fans rally behind him! ORANGE- NO, CHOP BLOCK from Lethal! And then FIGURE- CRADLE!! TWO!! Lethal gets up, dodges the Orange Punch and mule kicks the leg! Handspring, LETHAL INJECTION!! Cover, Lethal wins!

Jay Lethal avenges himself, and Sonjay Dutt wants Columbus, Ohio to give it up for his best friend! That was amazing, Lethal! Look at this little hippie! Cassidy, you look like you have jaundice, man! Sonjay has a question for Lethal: On Rampage, this big, strong man with muscles named Wardlow came out after their match, what are Lethal’s thoughts on him? Fans chant for “WARD~LOW!” and Sonjay tells them to shut up. Lethal says that Wardlow came out last week and stuck his nose in their business. Why? TO protect and defend his new friends. Well, Wardlow, if you’re listening, come on out here right now because Lethal’s gonna break Cassidy’s leg!

Lethal grabs at Cassidy, Sonjay runs off the ref, and Lethal steps through! But here come the Best Friends! AND Wardlow!! The TNT Champion storms right down to the ring, Lethal and his friends bail out! Sonjay says what? Wardlow want this now? That’s not fair, Lethal just went 15 minutes and beat Cassidy. Wardlow thinks this is the opportune time to do this? NO! Lethal’s sweatin’ up a storm right now. But guess what? Wardlow’s a big man, Sonjay’s a big man, so let’s do this: Battle of the Belts III, this weekend, Wardlow can go home, go train and prepare, play that violin, play that symphony, but then put the TNT Championship against Lethal!

Fans want to see it, and Wardlow gets a mic to say, “Columbus, Ohio! Welcome to Wardlow’s World! If you ain’t got the balls to do it tonight, I don’t care when. It doesn’t matter what time, what day, what city, the end result is Wardlow’s gonna whoop that ass!” So that’s a yes! Will Lethal be able to take the TNT title from the War Dog? The Undisputed Elite heads to the ring!

Adam Cole leads the way for Bobby Fish, Kyle O’Reilly and the Young Bucks, with Brandon Cutler vlogging it all from the rear. Fans are fired up, and of course they join in with the “BOOM!” as well as the “ADAM COLE, BAYBAY!” Cole gets the mic to ask, “Who’s ready for story time with Adam Cole, baybay? First of all, my God, does it feel good to be back in this ring. More importantly, it feels great to be back in this ring with my friends. Because I do have some unfortunate news. Unfortunately, I am still not medically cleared.

“But, I’ve taken this time to really think and process a lot of things. I’ve thought about the success that the Undisputed Elite has had. I’ve also thought about things that we could work on. Because as a great leader, you don’t just celebrate your success, you figure out what you can fix. But it’s not just great leadership that makes a great faction, no. It’s things like chemistry, which the five of us have in spades. It’s things like talent! Boys and girls, you’re looking at five of the very best, baybay.

“And most importantly, it’s about loyalty. It’s about fighting alongside your brothers, no matter what. And my God, we have that, too! For God’s sakes, I came to AEW because of the Young Bucks. That is loyalty! I have traveled up and down the globe my entire career with Kyle O’Reilly & Bobby Fish. THAT is loyalty! Because loyalty is power! Loyalty is success! Loyalty is everything. Which brings me… to this Trios Tournament. Matt. Nick. Guys, there’s nothing that I would love more than for the Undisputed Elite to be the winners of this first ever Trios Tournament.

“But, if I’m not medically cleared, and Kyle O’Reilly isn’t medically cleared, and you aren’t choosing Bobby Fish to be your partner? Guys, I’m sorry, you just can’t do the tournament.” Fans boo, that’s not cool! The Bucks argue and Cole says hold on. He is sorry, he isn’t saying this right. It’s that the Buck won’t be physically capable of entering the tournament. FISH PUTS NICK IN A SLEEPER!! And Kyle CHOP BLOCKS Matt!! Fish kicks away on Nick then ROUNDHOUSES him down! Cole SUPERKICKS Matt!! Cutler says what’s going on? Stop this! But Fish CLOBBERS Cutler! Cole tells Matt that he came here for them! And this is what they do to him!?

Cole stomps away on Matt, but what brought this on! Kyle puts Nick back in a Sleeper, and Fish gets a chair! Cole gives Matt a kiss good-bye on the cheek, as Fish puts the chair around Matt’s head! Cole goes up top, but here comes HANGMAN! The Cowboy has a STEEL PIPE, and he runs off the Undisputed Elite! Fans fire up for Hangman as he saves the Bucks! And then he actually turns around to look at Nick and Matt. Hangman walks over, and he helps Matt up! Fans fire up, but then Hangman leaves. Is this still not quite the reunion of the #HungBucks?

Jon Moxley speaks.

“Tonight, the last survivor of the Hart Dungeon faces the first survivor of the Blackpool Combat Club for a shot at the world championship and a dance with the baddest SOB in this game. And they’ve been asking me all day, ‘Who do you want to win?’ My answer is, ‘I don’t care.’ And they look at me like I’m crazy. ‘You gotta care. Would you rather face your friend? Or your enemy?” When I say, ‘I don’t care,’ it’s not a stock answer. It’s not some non-answer. I. Don’t. Care. When the bell rings, I have no respect for anybody.

I’m trying to split his head open and paint the canvas with his blood. I’m trying to litter the canvas with teeth. I will not stop until somebody goes to the hospital, even if it’s me. And I do it every night, no days off. That’s why I’m the best at this. And when the BCC is all said and done, we’re gonna make the Hart Dungeon look like a daycare.

After the comments from Jungle Boy last week, Tony Schiavone says this has gotten rather personal. Captain Charisma says that just like the people of Columbus, Ohio, JB was raised by terrible human beings. He dragged Christian’s personal life into this, and that is something Christian would never do! Do you understand? But then oh no! Someone pulls their car in very fast, and it’s JUNGLE BOY! He isn’t even scheduled for tonight! JB wants after Christian but security drags JB away. Christian wants JB to be arrested for trying to kill him with that car! Will JB have to wait until a match is made to get his hands on Christian?

Britt Baker & Jamie Hayter w/ Rebel VS ThunderStorm!

The Doctor called out the AEW Women’s World Champion and the Lightning From Down Under, and now she and her assistant get a tag match with them to settle things! Will Britt and Hayter, in their new color coordinated gear, get a win off Rosa & Toni? Or will they be blown away by the ThunderStorm?

The teams sort out and Rosa starts against Britt. Fans rally and duel, Britt swings but Rosa dodges to throw her shirt at Britt! Rosa then tackles Britt and rains down hands! Hayter rushes in to stomp Rosa but Storm rushes in to brawl with Hayter! Fans continue to duel as Hayter throws Storm out and Britt fires off forearms. Storm gets back up but Hayter BOOTS her back out! Britt whips, Rosa reverses, but Britt arm-drags to a lateral press, then RINGS OF SATURN! Rosa rolls it, TWO! Britt stays clamped on but Rosa moves around again. Britt rolls with but Rosa hits a BIG back suplex! Fans fire up, Hayter tags in!

Rosa DROPKICKS Hayter, LARIATS Hayter, then has Hayter on ropes. Rosa runs in to dropkick Hayter in the back! Fans fire up as Hayter flops down, and Rosa runs again, to DROPKICK Hayter in the front! Rosa drags Hayter to a cover, TWO! Rosa drags Hayter up, tags Storm in and ThunderStorm mugs Hayter. Storm stomps a mudhole into Hayter, then tags Rosa back in. They continue the mugging with a CHOP, and Rosa bumps Hayter off buckles. Rosa CHOPS again, tags Storm, and Storm whips Rosa in for a back elbow to Hayter! UPPERCUT, then ROSA IN MOTION! Tag to Rosa, ThunderStorm double suplex Hayter down! Cover, TWO! Hayter gets to ropes but Rosa stomps her. Rosa drags Hayter around, ROCKS her with a forearm, then cravats. Hayter fights the snapmare but Rosa back elbows. Rosa snapmares and PENALTY KCIKS, while staring Britt down! Cover, TWO! Rosa drags Hayter back up while fans duel. Hayter talks trash on Rosa while the ref counts, and Britt hops off. Hayter pats Rosa on the head, then SLAPS her across the face! They vlog from Paris, France as they announce they’re getting married! A rather fake British narrator says, “It is one of the most talked about events of 2022. Last June, in front of one of the most iconic and romantic backdrops in the world, the Spanish God, Sammy Guevara, proposed to Tay Conti. Now, America’s Favorite Couple won’t be here on Dynamite, because they are busy getting married. #BeMad!” Tay shows off the diamond on her finger, but wait, Eddie Kingston cuts the video short!

“Tony, what’re we doing? This is a wrestling show! Why am I hearing this kid and his wife talk about getting married? Why don’t I get a little thing here so I can look like a moron, staring at it. Taz speaks up from commentary.

When it comes to everything that went down last week, he’s just as shocked as we were. He did not know “Powerhouse” Will Hobbs was going to betray Ricky Starks. He did not know Ricky Starks would set up another open challenge after facing Danhausen. And Taz also didn’t know that Hook was going to accept said open challenge, be victorious, and become the NEW FTW Champion. But this is what he does know, he’s not in the loop with Team Taz, he IS Taz. So he let all three men know that as of this moment, Team Taz is DONE! DEAD! OVER! Taz wishes nothing but the best to Hobbs, Starks and Hook, but he’s done with it.

Speaking of the former Team Taz, the man who effectively broke the group up is here to build upon his Absolute betrayal. Will he show us just how he’ll do that at Ren Jones’ expense?

The bell rings and Hobbs CLOBBERS Jones in the corner! Fans boo but Hobbs asks, “Where’s Ricky?” Hobbs drags Jones up, scoops him, and carries him around to show off! Miro speaks.

Darby says his hand will be the last thing Brody sees before he shuts the lid on that coffin. “THE COFFIN DROPS ON BRODY KING” is emblazoned on Darby’s hand. Will this be one that everyone remembers?

This rivalry goes way, way back, and while it has many exciting moments, this one may be the most personal between them. The ref counts more, Christian lets off and he talks trash on Hardy. Christian paces around while Hardy sputters and gasps. Christian drags Hardy up but Hardy throws body shots! Christian ROCKS Hardy with a forearm, then has him on ropes again. Christian ROCKS Hardy with a haymaker, then stomps him in a corner. Christian brings Hardy around to snapmare and chinlock. Christian barely survives that fall from the top! Christian throws haymakers but Hardy throws them back! Fans fire up as they brawl goes back and forth, faster and faster! Christian ROCKS Hardy with an uppercut, then ROCKS him again! Christian runs, but Hardy back drops him!

Hardy stalks Christian to a corner, climbs up and rains down fists! Fans count all the way to 10, then Hardy pushes Christian out from the corner. Hardy powers up and leaps, AX HANDLE! Fans fire up as Hardy calls his shot and waits on Christian. Christian stands, Hardy kicks, TWIST- NO, Christian shoves free, then dodges in the corner! SWING KICK! Christian goes up but Hardy ROCKS him again! And again! Hardy climbs up to get under Christian, for a SUPER BACK DROP! Fans fire up and Hardy adjusts, to DIVING ELBOW DROP! Cover, TWO! Christian survives again but Hardy keeps his focus.

Hardy drags Christian up, but Christian chicken wings! Hardy pushes free of that and Christian ends up on the apron. Christian avoids a haymaker to HOTSHOT Hardy down! Christian goes up top and DIVING HEADBUTTS! Cover, TWO!! Hardy survives now and Christian is frustrated. Christian drags Hardy up, puts him on the ropes and stands on him! The ref counts while Christian chokes Hardy, then Christian slingshots out, only for Hardy to dodge the uppercut! Christian rushes inside, but into a SIDE EFFECT! Cover, TWO! Christian rolls away to the apron but Hardy’s right after him! Hardy gets Christian up, reels him in, APRON SIDE EFFECT!

Hardy smacks Christian off the table and fans fire up. Hardy puts Christian on the table, rains down fists to keep him there, then he goes up to the apron! FOLEY ELBOW through the table, BUT ONLY THE TABLE! Christian moves in time and only Hardy crashes through wood! Christian drags Hardy from the wreckage, hauls him into the ring, then drags Hardy up into the chicken wings. Christian turns Hardy for the KILLSWITCH!! Cover, Christian wins!

AEW returns with Ethan Page is in the ring.

All Ego has a mic in his hand and a wild look in his eye. Are we live? Yes? Then he’s talking to the people and everyone at home? Good! Because he came out here to ask us all a question: WHY!? WHY!? Fans echo “WHY?!” but now Stokely Hathaway walks out! Ethan asks “Why the Hell is Ethan Page not on TV every week?! Why the Hell does Ethan Page not have an action figure?! Why is Ethan Page NOT on the bus? WHY!? WHY?! WHYYYY!?” But Stokely gets in the ring as Ethan is feeling it. “Ethan Page deserves better!!” Fans are feeling that, too! And Ethan wants everyone to hold on. Why are they cheering? Why?

When Ethan’s shirt goes on sale, they don’t buy it! They’re not making him a top seller! “No, you nitwits are first in line for an Orange Cassidy thumbs up, You’re first in line for a CM Punk T-shirt, and you’re first in line to believe whatever BS Eddie Kingston’s spitting out. But Ethan Page? No, no, no, you don’t have Ethan Page’s back. And every single week that Ethan Page isn’t on TV, this company and these moronic fans are leaving money on the freakin’ table!” But then Ethan notices Stokely is behind him. Specifically, Schiavone is interviewing Matthew Menard, Angelo Parker, and Anna Jay. The main event is on its way, Jericho VS Yuta, winner faces Moxley for the interim world title next week! Daddy Magic says that’s right, and you wanna know what makes his nips hard? Huh? You wanna? The fact that one week from tonight, Jericho becomes LE CHAMPION for a second time! No question about it! But that’s only if he beats Wheeler Yuta. Cool Hand Ange says Schiavone is getting smart. You know what happens when someone gets smart with the JAS?

It is time Schiavone and the rest of the AEW Galaxy appreciates them! Because the JAS is the greatest faction in the history of sports entertainment, and they just keep getting better! And Anna JAS says she is the sexiest and the toughest, and she proved it last week when she choked Ruby Soho out! She’ll choke Schiavone out! She’ll choke the camera crew out! She’ll choke whoever this is right now! The AEW staffer gets the QUEENSLAYER! Anna JAS is bonkers, but will she and the rest of the Jericho Appreciation Society soon take over AEW?

Dumpster Match: The Acclaimed VS Gunn Club!

It’s trash day, and it’s gonna be a bad day for one team tonight. Fans taunt the “ASS~ BOYS!” as they make their entrance, but then Anthony Bowens gives Daddy Ass a TRASH CAN DRIVE-BY! Max Caster RAMS Billy into the dumpster! Bowens brings the can with him and Colten Gunn comes rushing in, only to get CANNED! Austin tries, he gets CANNED! Caster says, “Yo! Start my music!” Fans fire up as Platinum Max still gets his diss track in! “Acclaimed gonna beat the Gunn Club in a bad way. We got the match in the bag cuz it’s trash day. No filter, I ain’t Instagram. We make the Ass Boys retire like Vince McMahon!

Bowens is stunned but Caster’s not done! “We’ll beat you down and you know the rest! I’m more positive than Joe Biden’s COVID tests! Yo, y’all’re dashed, boys. But for now, you’re just the Ass Boys!” Bowens gets the mic to say, “COOOLUMBUUUUUS! The Acclaimed! Have arrived!!” Get loud and let ’em hear ya say, “ASS~ BOYS!” But then Austin DECKS Bowens! Colten sucker punches Caster, the Gunns RAM Caster into the other dumpster! Austin dumps out trash from the cans, then he and Colten put them together in a cluster. The ref wants them to stop and get in the ring so this match can officially start!

The Gunns don’t care, they drag Bowens over and double suplex, only for Bowens to blocks! Bowens DOUBLE SUPLEXES the Gunns! Bowens drags Austin up, into the ring, and then he gets in. The bell rings to put this on record, and Bowens dodges Austin to elbow, JAB, CHOP and SUPERKICK! Colten gets in to ROCK Bowens, then whip to ropes. Bowens reverses, Colten holds ropes and BOOTS back. Bowens runs in but Colten throws him up and out! Bowens holds onto ropes to keep from falling into the dumpster! Colten ROCKS Bowens, he doubles over and hangs halfway inside! Austin SLAMS the lid on Bowens! And again! And again!

Austin keeps going, then lets off to go around the way. Colten drags Bowens up but Caster grabs at Colten. Colten kicks Caster down, he drags Bowens up, he and Austin DOUBLE POWERBOMB Bowens inside! But they gotta get Caster, too! Austin leaps but Caster dodges to DECK him with that Platinum Chain! Colten POSTS Caster in return! Colten dumps Caster in the dumpster! He and Austin get the id, but the Acclaimed block the closing! They hit back with COOKIE SHEETS! Fans fire up with the Acclaimed as they SCISSOR FINGER~! The Acclaimed is in control as AEW goes picture in picture.

Caster and Bowens get out of the dumpster, into the ring, and Caster aims at Colten, Colten avoids the sheet smack to dropkick Caster down. But Bowens gets in with a trash can lid to SMACK Colten! Colten falls, but Austin gets in to SMACK Bowens with a trash can lid! Austin shimmies and shakes and stalks Bowens, to JAB! JAB! JAB! Two step and SUCK IT, to LARIAT! Austin mocks the fans, but he sees the signs and hears the chants for “ASS~ BOYS!” The Gunns regroup, tune out the chants and raise their hands in victory. They get Bowens on the ropes to CHOP and CHOP! Caster drags Austin out to fire off hands, but Austin hits him back!

Bowens staggers away but Austin stalks him. Bowens elbows Austin, Colten smacks Caster off the apron. Bowens CHOKES Austin against railing but Colten CLUBS Bowens. Colten whips Caster into railing! Austin RAMS Bowens into the dumpster while Colten runs at Caster. Caster moves and Colten hits only railing! Austin hauls Bowens up to dump him back in the dumpster, and he shuts the one lid. Bowens blocks the other lid, just like earlier, and he powers out to ROCK Austin! Bowens then stands on top of the dumpster, only for Austin to join him. They brawl on top of the dumpster, and Bowens gets the edge!

Dynamite returns to single picture as fans rally behind Bowens. Bowens rains down forearms on Austin, CLUBS him, then drags him up. But Austin claws Bowen’s face! The fans boo, but Austin waves bye to then TOSS Bowens onto the trash cans! Fans boo and Caster sees what happened to Bowens. Caster CLUBS Colten up the ramp but Austin CLOBBERS him! “Who’s the Ass Boy now?!” “YOU!!” The Gunns drag Caster to the other dumpster but Caster fires off backhands and haymakers! But Colten ROCKS Caster, he and Austin RAM Caster into the dumpster! And out of that second dumpster, they bring out a TABLE!

The Gunns set up the table, drag Caster over, but Caster brawls with Colten. Colten snap suplexes Caster onto the steel grates! Bowens CLOBBERS Austin! Bowens ROCKS Colten, DECKS Austin, but Colten kicks low to hit the COLT 45 to the ramp!! Bowens writhes, Austin coordinates with his brother to do a big elbow! Austin hurries into the tunnel and up the girder! Colten drags Bowens up and over to the table. Colten puts Bowens on the table and Austin is on top of the tunnel! But Bowens BOOTS Colten away! Bowens runs off and Austin shouts to Colten to get dad! But Bowens CLOBBERS Colten with a trash can!

Bowens says Austin’s done for! Because Caster is behind him! Caster grins and Austin freaks out! Caster drags Austin up to TOSS into the dumpster! Fans fire up as Bowens puts Colten on the table now! And Caster gives us a SUPER MIC DROP!!! Fans lose their minds and Bowens drags Colten up to put in the dumpster! The Acclaimed get the lids and slam them shut! The Acclaimed wins!!

And to make sure these lids stay shut, they fasten the zip ties! But that’s not all! They start moving the dumpster towards the edge of the stage! Fans fire up as the dumpster goes OVER! Caster & Bowens take out the trash, are they moving on to the tag titles?

After winning a Bunkhouse Battle Royal as part of the Ric Flair’s Last Match event, Mance Warner is making his AEW debut against Jon Moxley in an Interim AEW World Championship Eliminator! Will Warner go from Bunkhouse to penthouse with a golden ticket to the world title? Or will Moxley back up all his words about painting the canvas with his opponent’s blood?

Plus, after the sneak attack in the back, Keith Lee & Swerve Strickland want after Josh Woods & Tony Nese! But it won’t be a title match, it’ll be a STREET FIGHT! Will the #PremierGoods earn themselves their own golden tickets to a title match? Or will they have no choice but to bask in the glory of the Limitless House?

And of course, Battle of the Belts III is this Saturday!

First, the ROH World Championship will be defended as the NEW champion, Claudio Castagnoli, takes on The Future of Wrestling, Konosuke Takeshita! The Swiss Cyborg tells Konosuke that this Saturday, Konosuke gets his first title match in North America. Konosuke himself says he’s been champion in Japan time and again, but he has never been a champion in the States.

Claudio knows Konosuke is waiting for his first big singles win in the States, so Claudio hopes Konosuke brings all of that fighting spirit. As they say in the Blackpool Combat Club, you either step up, or get stepped on. Konosuke says that when he faces Claudio for the ROH title, he feels he will win that first big win. Claudio says this will be his first successful title defense of the ROH World Championship, because he IS Claudio Gaddam Castagnoli!

And furthermore, after the big win in their tag team match, it’s Jamie Hayter going against Thunder Rosa for the AEW Women’s World Championship! Will Hayter make Britt proud when she dethrones La Mera Mera? Last but not least, after Wardlow accepted the challenge, he will defend his TNT title against Jay Lethal! Will this already packed Battle of the Belts explode with a Powerbomb Symphony?

But before things get going, Claudio makes his own entrance! He sees Daddy Magic & Cool Hand Ange, so he isn’t about to let Yuta do this without backup! The bell rings and Yuta storms up to Jericho. Fans rally but Jericho smirks at Yuta. Fans rally behind Yuta but Jericho says Yuta is stupid to think he can win. Yuta slaps the pointing finger away, so Jericho SLAPS Yuta! Yuta flicks Jericho’s broken nose! Yuta whips, trips Jericho, then rains down fists! Fans rally, Yuta gets up to kick Jericho to a corner. Yuta CHOPS Jericho, bumps him off buckles, then CHOPS again! Yuta DIGS into the bad nose, but the ref counts.

Yuta lets off at 4, whips Jericho to ropes, but Jericho holds ropes and bails out. Fans boo while Jericho cools off and regroups with Parker & Menard. But Yuta storms over, shoves Menard aside and BOOTS Jericho! Yuta CLUBS Jericho, ROCKS him, then fires off fists at the railing! The ref reprimands and counts, fans rally for Yuta as he whips Jericho into railing! Yuta rains down more fists, then brings Jericho around to put in the ring. But Parker anchors Yuta’s foot! Claudio points it out, the ref reprimands, and then EJECTS the JAS! Fans fire up for Aubrey as she argues with Parker & Menard, but Claudio fist bumps Yuta before he ushers Parker & Menard away.

Fans sing “Nana na na, nana na na, hey hey hey, good bye~!” but then Jericho rolls Yuta up! ONE, Yuta BOOTS and Jericho flounders. Yuta fires off hands in the corner, stomps and haymakers, then whips corner to corner. Jericho reverses, runs in, but into another BOOT! Yuta goes up, Jericho stands, but then goes to ropes to trip Yuta up! Yuta is stuck on his decoder while AEW goes picture in picture.

Jericho CLUBS Yuta, Yuta flops to the mat, and Jericho soaks up the cheers and jeers. Jericho checks his nose but it isn’t bleeding yet. Jericho rains down fists, paces around, then drags Yuta up to hit a BIG back suplex! Jericho drags Yuta up, CHOPS him down, then has him in a corner. Jericho CHOPS again, soaks up the heat, then CHOPS Yuta again. Yuta falls over and Jericho slaps him around. Yuta gets up with a snarl and he ROCKS Jericho with forearms! Yuta whips, Jericho holds ropes and avoids the dropkick! Jericho drops a SENTON! Jericho flexes then soaks up the heat. Fans cheer and jeer and Jericho drags Yuta up.

Jericho puts Yuta in a corner, hoists him up top, then climbs up after him. Jericho CLUBS Yuta, brings him up, but Yuta throws body shots! They brawl up top, Yuta gets the edge, and Yuta SUPER GOURD BUSTERS Jericho down! Yuta stands back up and leaps, into a DROPKICK! Cover, TWO! Jericho is frustrated with Yuta’s toughness, but this is why Yuta’s even in the BCC. Jericho clamps onto Yuta and throws down elbows! Not quite Hammer ‘n’ Anvil but they still hit hard! Jericho soaks up the heat by flipping off the fans as AEW returns to single picture. Jericho slaps Yuta around more, then brings him up again.

Yuta ROCKS Jericho, fires off more forearms, and he whips Jericho to ropes Jericho reverses, Yuta kicks him, then hits an atomic drop! And an ENZIGURI! Jericho flounders to a corner, Yuta goes corner to corner and A-LIST LARIATS! Jericho staggers out, Yuta goes up, FLYING LARIAT! Fans fire up while both men are down! Yuta kips up and fans fire up more! Yuta whips Jericho to ropes, Jericho ducks, Wheeler runs, DOUBLE CROSSBODIES! Both men are down and fans rally up. Both men sit up, and Yuta SLAPS Jericho! Jericho SLAPS Yuta, it’s a SLAP fight! Fans rally as the SLAPS fire off faster and faster and from all sides!

Yuta ducks to waistlock, GERMAN SUPLEX! Yuta holds on, to GERMAN SUPLEX again! And he still holds on, to GERMAN SUPLEX again! Fans count it out, this is #SuplexYuta! GERMAN SUPLEX! That’s four! GERMAN SUPLEX, that’s five! Bridging cover, TWO!! Jericho survives but Yuta still holds on! Jericho fights the sixth to victory roll and get the legs! Yuta resists but Jericho gets the WALLS! Yuta endures the Walls of Jericho, but Jericho sits deep! Fans rally as Yuta reaches out, powers up, crawls forward, and gets the ROPEBREAK! Jericho lets go, acting like he won. The ref explains that no, he didn’t win.

Jericho runs in at Yuta but Yuta TOSSES him out! Yuta builds speed to DIVE! Direct hit and Jericho hits railing! Yuta hurries back in, fire sup and builds speed again, to DIVE again! Another hit, and Yuta just gets back up! Fans are thunderous as Yuta runs to DIVE! Hattrick and Jericho hits railing again! Yuta puts Jericho in, goes up top, and then CROSSBODIES! Cover, TWO! Jericho survives but Yuta hurries to run. Jericho catches Yuta, to underhook, TIGER BACKBREAKER! Then a LARIAT! Jericho fires up and fans are torn, but here comes the LIONSAULT! Onto knees! Yuta saves himself, and now he goes up the corner again!

Yuta leaps but into a CODE BREAKER!! Jericho crawls to a cover, TWO!!! Yuta survives and Jericho can’t believe it! Fans are thunderous but Jericho clamps on for the Hammer Elbows! But Yuta CLAWS the nose! Then drop toeholds Jericho, ties up the legs, and he gets the arm! REGAL STRETCH!! Jericho endures as he’s twisted up, but he crawls with the one good arm! Jericho grabs Floyd the Baseball Bat! But Aubrey snatches the bat away! Only for Jericho to LOW BLOW Yuta when she isn’t looking! Fans boo but the damage is done! Jericho aims, runs in, but Yuta ducks the elbow! Roll up and SEATBELT CRADLE!! TWO!! Jericho slips out, gets the legs, WALLS!!

Yuta resists, but Jericho stomps Yuta down! Jericho then puts on THE LIONTAMER!! Yuta taps, Jericho wins!!

Winner: Chris Jericho, by submission (advances to Quake by the Lake)

The Wizard pulled off another nasty trick, and now he tortures Yuta in the submission hold! Extra refs rush out to make Jericho stop, but Jericho doesn’t listen! HERE COMES MOXLEY!! He didn’t care who won, but he doesn’t care for Jericho bullying Yuta! Moxley gets in, Jericho runs away! Jericho gets a mic to shout, “Moxley! You just unleashed the demon! You just opened Pandora’s Box, man! Next week, you want the last survivor of Stu Hart’s Dungeon? You want Lionheart Chris Jericho?! You’ve got it!! But I’m gonna stretch the SH*T outta you, and walk out the NEW AEW Champion! You can guaran-effing-tee it!”

Quake by the Lake is coming, as is Moxley VS Jericho 2! Will the Maniac be the one to tame the Lionheart? Or will Jericho become Le Champion once again?

My Thoughts:

A great episode for AEW to set up a LOT for the next seven days. For one, great stuff for Battle of the Belts 3, such as a solid vignette promo from Claudio and Konosuke for their ROH title match. Konosuke will have a great showing but he will lose so Claudio has his first title defense in the books. A great opener from Cassidy VS Lethal, but I figured Lethal would win. Wardlow showing up last Friday on Rampage and then showing up here, Wardlow VS Lethal for the TNT title is official, that will also be a great title defense win for Wardlow. Great tag match from Britt & Hayter VS ThunderStorm, and a bit of a shocker that Hayter gets the pin in the win. Hayter gets her first title shot, but again, the champion will retain.

Great bit from Eddie Kingston cutting the SamTay video short to call Sammy out. If that’s for All Out, that is going to be wild. It could go either way, but maybe Eddie gets the win here so he can slowly move away from feuding with the JAS. The JAS had a good promo, including Anna Jay choking out some poor backstage staffer. Pretty sure we get TayJay VS Soho and someone, anyone, at some point between now and All Out. Good promo from Taz announcing that Team Taz is done, and of course Hobbs crushes his opponent. Starks surprised me showing up tonight after getting beat down, but clearly this should be an All Out match, too.

Great promo from Miro to continue to keep us guessing on if he’ll join House of Black or not. Darby Allin also had a good promo to call out Brody King ahead of their Coffin Drop match. I wonder if that’s really a tattoo on his hand, but that’d be very Darby to go that far for the story. No idea who wins, but it’s going to be awesome. Undisputed Elite returns, but what a surprise that they betrayed the Bucks! And a great move for Hangman to save the Bucks, but not quite unite with them. There’s still time before the Trios title tournament gets going, I can’t wait for the moment the Bucks actually accept Hangman back.

Great promo from Daniel Garcia to call out Bryan Danielson, and I would definitely love to see a rematch of those two, provided the JAS isn’t allowed to interfere this time. I still feel like Garcia needs to realize he is more a BCC guy than a JAS guy, but who knows if they can figure out how to write that turn. Great promo from Ethan Page to voice his frustrations, and fans enjoyed it, too. Stokely gets another male wrestler in his stable, he could play things as Tweeners, because fans really like All Ego, they really like #TYGASTYLE, they could really get going facing all sorts of teams, not just Faces.

We got an awesome Dumpster Match, with another great rap from Caster, and a wild elbow drop from the tunnel. I figured The Acclaimed would win, and this can propel them to the next level. Great promo segment with Christian and Jungle Boy backstage, I really like this new edge JB has. Great match between Christian and Hardy, and Christian wins to have momentum for his feud with JB. If anything, Christian VS JB needs to be No Disqualifications since we know they’ll both want to use a Con-Chair-To on each other. I just hope there’s no re-swerve where Luchasaurus does join Christian Cage in the end. Jurassic Express with an edge is the team that needs to move on from this feud.

A great promo from Moxley to say this is about the title, not about who he is facing. And great main event between Jericho and Yuta. Yuta puts on another great performance, even in losing, but he is losing to legends, so there’s nothing bad for Yuta here. But of course Jericho cheated to get the advantage, and of course he gets Heel heat making Yuta suffer. Moxley running Jericho off was also fitting, and Jericho gets essentially goaded into giving us what we want again. Can’t wait to see what Lionheart Jericho will look like in terms of aesthetic, but we know we’re going to get an awesome title match next week.
