AEW returns to the Book of Hobbs.
Will Hobbs says, “You think you can survive on these streets in one night? You think you can walk a mile in my shoes? I have paid the ultimate price. I have watched the blood leak from my body. I have scrubbed the blood from my brother off the porch. This is a life, a life that you want nothing a part of. A life that you can’t handle. A life that I was brought into and I am going to take every single that means something to you!” The Powerhouse sayeth, and so shall the Powerhouse do. But what will he do to those put in his path?
Happy One Year Anniversary to Hook!
The UNDEFEATED Cold-Hearted Handsome Devil is still FTW Champion, and this marks the anniversary of his in-ring debut on Rampage. What will be next for the Son of Taz? We just have to wait for them to #SendHook.
Stokely Hathaway speaks.
“Welcome to AEW News Today, with Stokely Hathaway. The biggest piece of news: the world sucks. Atrocities are committed every single day. But the biggest atrocity in AEW history was committed on November 18th, 2022. I’m referring to the Zapruder film, the Keisha Zapruder film.” There’s a disclaimer saying, “Shout out to my homegirl, Keisha, for the footage.” And he is of course talking about Hook VS Lee Moriarty for the FTW Championship.
Stokely claims that from this angle, everyone can clearly see Hook’s foot was not under the ropes, and this is a conspiracy to protect Hook! Will there be justice for Lee Moriarty? Stokely has the camera crew cut, and he asks Keisha if she wants to go to Waffle House. He’s got some of that MJF money left over, they can get all the All-Star Meals she wants! But will AEW take Stokely’s case into consideration?
Regina di Wave Championship: Hikaru Shida VS The Bunny w/ Penelope Ford!
This title match is no longer just a grudge match between Full Metal Warrior and the wascally wabbit. The NEW AEW Women’s World Champion, Jamie Hayter, wants to be a fighting champion, and is offering the winner of this match a shot at her own title! Who will ride di wave all the way to a shot at the Hayter?
The introductions are made, the WAVE title is raised, and we see who brings home the silver before going for the gold!

The Full Metal Warrior is still champion, but here comes THE Champion! Jamie Hayter applauds Shida while showing off her title. Will Hayter still be champion after facing the Regina di Wave Champion? Or will we see #TwoBeltShida heading into the New Year?
AEW takes a closer look at Mercedes Martinez VS Athena.
Ian Riccaboni says, “Heading into this ROH Women’s World Championship bout, I think a lot of fans may not know that Athena and Mercedes have some long standing history emanating from the Shimmer promotion.” The OG Badass says, “I made Athena. December 10th, it’s not my Final Battle. It is going to be yours (Athena).” The Fallen Goddess says beating Mercedes for the ROH Women’s World Championship “would be the icing on the cake, and definitely the push I need here in AEW. But to retire Mercedes Martinez, well, that’s a sweet, sweet victory, ain’t it?” Whose Final Battle will it truly be this Saturday?
Lee Moriarty & “Big Bill” W. Morrissey w/ Stokely Hathaway VS Clayton Bloodstone & Izzy James!
Even though they didn’t win the Dynamite Diamond Battle Royal, The Firm is feeling good after they eliminated and brutalized “Jungle Boy” Jack Perry. But now, #TAIGASTYLE and the human skyscraper make a tag team debut, will they start their journey towards tag title opportunities?
The teams sort out, Moriarty starts against Bloodstone, but he runs to BOOT down James! Fans boo, Moriarty dodges Bloodstone to waistlock then headlock. Bloodstone endures, wrenches out, and headlocks back. Moriarty powers up and out, Bloodstone avoids running into Big Bill, only to turn around into a BOOT! Big Bill throws the air guitar to Moriarty for him to jam on. Moriarty stomps Bloodstone’s leg then hooks the legs up. Moriarty grins as he has the standing deathlock, but then James runs in! Cover, The Firm win!
Winners: Lee Moriarty & “Big Bill” Morrissey, by pinfall
That was dominant, and you can’t teach that! Will The Firm soon dominate the AEW and ROH Tag Team Divisions?
AEW shares a backstage interview from after Dynamite.
Lexi Nair was with FTR after their loss to The Acclaimed, and brings up the challenge from The Briscoes for the ROH World Tag Team Championships for a Double Dog Collar match! Is FTR willing to accept that challenge? Cash Wheeler says that three minutes ago, they lost their biggest chance at adding a fourth tag title to their collection, their chance at making history with the AEW World Tag Team Championships. As soon as they were done, they were given this challenge. If you think FTR is gonna sit and pout and make excuses, Cash promises you, you’re wrong.
Dax Harwood brings up the stipulation: Double Dog Collar. Collars are for animals. But the crazy thing is, FTR are “the most rabid animals in the world.” Last year, Final Battle 2021, FTR faced The Briscoes for the very first time. So how apropos it is that Final Battle 2022 is them finishing that history and finishing the legacy. FTR VS Briscoes 3. If they want a fight, FTR will give them the damndest fight they’ve ever had. #TopGuysOut. Then it is official! A DOUBLE DOG COLLAR MATCH for the ROH World Tag Team Championships! Who will make it out of the year wearing those collars and those belts?
Eddie Kingston and Ortiz speak.
Ortiz notes how the House of Black picked him up but then put him back down like a child. The Mad King says that is disrespectful. Ortiz didn’t like how that felt, because he has worked too hard to be respected as a legitimate pro-wrestler. He’s also a bit petty, so that feeling they made him feel, he promises to make them feel right back. Kingston says he doesn’t care when or how, “let’s go.” The Mad King & “Monkey” are calling out Malakai and his minions! What happens when Kingston & Ortiz stare into the darkness that is the House of Black?
Mark Henry speaks with tonight’s main eventers (sort of).
The World’s Strongest Man says that Kip Sabian handpicked Orange Cassidy’s opponent tonight. Why wouldn’t he just face Cassidy himself? Kip tells “Marcus” that as much as he “would love to retrieve the All-Atlantic title after the unprovoked assault by Dustin Rhodes on Dynamite, I’m not cleared to compete. But do not fear, there is always a back-up plan. And I found someone from across the pond to bring… class to this title.” Cassidy says, “Oh, great, cool, okay. Let’s, uh, can we get started please?” Kip says no, Kip hasn’t let the absence of Cassidy’s “costumed pest” go unnoticed. Where is Danhausen? Under the ring?
Danhausen appears next to Mark Henry! He says there’s been enough talk! No, don’t do that. Sorry. Well- Well what? Sigh… It looks like there’s been enough talk. Oh, Mark’s doing Danhausen’s line? Okay, that’s fine. No, it’s not Danhausen’s line, it’s Mark’s line! It’s TIME for the main event! But just who does Kip have waiting to take on Freshly Squeezed?
Shane Taylor & JD Griffey speak.
Shane Taylor says, “No matter how many years you run from it, Keith, the past catches up all the same. You leaving me was the best thing to ever happen to my career. Shane Taylor Promotions went on to revolutionize the Six Man Tag Team Championships.” Griffey says “Keith always had this thing on our team, right? Stay patient, he said. Stay the course, he said.” But Shane came to Griffey and said, “Why wait for the window of opportunity when guys like you are known for just kicking the door in?” At Final Battle, Keith Lee & Swerve Strickland are the last hurdle and the last question on the test. Keith’s limit is Shane Taylor Promotions. #SayLess.
AEW All-Atlantic Championship: Orange Cassidy VS ???
Cassidy has been a Freshly Squeezed fighting champion ever since getting this title off The Bastard, and he doesn’t look to be stopping now. But will putting this title up again and again come back to bite Cassidy in the butt? Mr. & Mrs. Superbad make their entrance, and they look to the tunnel. Kip’s mercenary is… TRENT SEVEN!! The Man from Moustache Mountain, a former NXT and NXT UK Tag Team Champion, is now in AEW. Will he immediately grab a title in his Rampage debut?
The introductions are made, the belt is raised, and we see if Cassidy survives climbing Moustache Mountain!
The bell rings, Cassidy puts his hands up, but Seven stops them from going into the pockets. Seven has Cassidy put his hands at the corners of his mustache! And then Seven does the same with his own mustache for the twirl! Seven hopes Cassidy understands. Cassidy puts his hands in his pockets. Fans cheer and Seven sighs. Seven CHOPS, but Cassidy takes off his sunglasses and hands them to the ref. Now Cassidy sputters from the chop. Seven CHOPS Cassidy again! Cassidy is stinging in the corner, Seven runs in, but Cassidy high-fives him while he dodges! Fans cheer, the ref high-fives, too.
Seven holds out a hand, asking what’s going on here, and Cassidy gives Seven some kind of secret handshake! And a thumbs up, too! Seven kicks low and scoops to SLAM Cassidy down! Seven runs to drop a leg, brother! Cover, TWO! Cassidy bails out and Kip grins at him. Cassidy stares Kip down, and the Best Friends move to back Cassidy up. Kip backs away, but Seven goes out to turn Cassidy around for a CHOP! The ring count is climbing while Cassidy leans against the post. Seven swings but Cassidy ducks, Seven CHOPS the POST! Seven clutches his hand while Cassidy DECKS Kip! Best Friends storm back up to keep Kip from retaliating.
Cassidy storms up and chases Ford off, and then he puts Seven in the ring. Cassidy fires “devastating” kicks to Seven’s bad hand! And then the shins! Seven is annoyed, Cassidy reels back, but Seven shows chop! Cassidy falls for it, Seven DDTs him down! But wait, Ford comes back with The Butcher & The Blade! Kip says he has nothing to do with this, but now things are even at ringside. Butcher & Blade brawl with Best Friends! Ford & Bunny stay clear of them all while Rampage goes picture in picture.
Cassidy sits up in a corner, Seven stomps a mudhole into him! Seven drags Cassidy up, whips him corner to corner hard and Cassidy bounces off buckles! Seven twirls his ‘stache and he drags Cassidy up. Seven CHOPS Cassidy down, covers, TWO! Seven warps on a chinlock and he grinds Cassidy down. Cassidy endures, but Seven half nelsons, then full nelsons. Fans rally, Cassidy fights up, and Cassidy reaches for his pockets! Seven brings Cassidy’s arms back up, but Cassidy keeps trying! Seven brings the arms up, Cassidy reaches down! Seven’s bad hand gives up, and Cassidy puts his hands in his pockets!
But Seven comes back to full nelson again! Cassidy flails, pries at the bad hand, and he arm-drags Seven away! Seven comes back to CLOBBER Cassidy! Seven shakes out the bad hand, fixes his hair, and then looms over Cassidy. Seven drags Cassidy up, reels him in, suplexes, but Cassidy fights that off. Seven tries again, Cassidy fights it again. Seven suplexes and he holds Cassidy up this time! Cassidy kicks his legs, gets his footing back, and snap suplexes Seven over! Fans fire up while both men are down. Cassidy crawls to a corner, climbs up the outside, and he wipes his sweat using Seven’s towel!
Seven CHOPS Cassidy! Cassidy is stuck up top, so Seven climbs up after him. Seven SLAPS Cassidy on the neck, then SLAPS him again! Seven stands Cassidy up but Cassidy fights the superplex. Seven throws body shots, climbs up to the very top, and he brings Cassidy up. Rampage returns to single picture as Seven hits a SUPERPLEX!! Cover, TWO!! Cassidy survives and fans fire up! Seven snarls, Cassidy goes to a corner, and fans chant for “FRESHLY SQUEEZED!” Seven CHOPS Cassidy, whips him corner to corner, but Cassidy goes up and out. Seven runs in but Cassidy bumps him off buckles!
Cassidy runs Seven side to side but Seven bumps Cassidy off buckles! And BACKHANDS Cassidy off the apron! Cassidy stands up, Kip talks trash, but the ref tells Kip to back off. Seven builds speed, DIVES, but Cassidy casually pulls Kip in! Seven TOPES Kip!! Down goes Mr. Superbad and fans lose their minds! Cassidy builds speed to DIVE! Direct hit on Seven! Cassidy puts Seven in, throws off his elbow pad, and he runs in, ORANGE- NO, Seven gets around to SNAP DRAGON! And then a scoop, but STUN-DOG MILLIONAIRE hits! Cassidy runs, into a tilt-o-whirl, but Seven blocks the DDT! Seven’s a big strong boy tonight!
Seven suplexes Cassidy up into EMERALD FLOSION!! Cover, TWO!!! Cassidy survives and fans are fired up! A standing count starts, Cassidy stirs but Seven wraps him up in a half straitjacket. Seven SLAPS Cassidy again and again, then drags him up. Fans rally, Seven ripcords but Cassidy ducks the lariat to ripcord back! Seven breaks free, Bop up and BANG!! Then a ripcord for the SEVEN STAR LARIAT!! Cover, TWO!!! Cassidy survives again and shocks Seven! Cassidy crawls around in a daze but fans rally up. Seven hits Cassidy in midair, then reels him in for a SPINNING PILEDRIVER!!! Cover, TWO!!?? Cassidy survives and Seven is furious! “This is Awesome!” as Seven drags Cassidy back up. Torture rack, BIRMINGHAM- NO, Cassidy slips out to wheelbarrow and victory roll, with crossed legs! TWO!!!
ORANGE PUNCH!!! And then Alabama Lift, BEACH BREAK!! Cover, Cassidy wins!!
Winner: Orange Cassidy, by pinfall (still AEW All-Atlantic Champion)
But Kip attacks! The sore loser who didn’t even fight his own battle stomps away on Cassidy! Ford keeps the ref back while Kip stomps Cassidy more! Kip has Seven get up, and Kip says this is how they do things. Seven says fine, and he stomps away on Cassidy, too! Fans boo, but here comes DUSTIN RHODES! Kip kept mentioning him, so naturally the Natural is here! Kip runs in, into a POWERSLAM! Dustin gets in, Seven and Dustin throw hands! Dustin JABS, JABS, JABS, then flips, flops and flies for the BIONIC ELBOW! Then a kick and RHODES UPPERCUT! POWERSLAM!
Fans fire up for Dustin as he stands tall and helps Cassidy back to his feet. Cassidy is still All-Atlantic Champion, will Kip take him on directly next time? Will Kip also have a score to settle with Dustin down the road?
My Thoughts:
A great Rampage with a lot going into Final Battle tomorrow and the coming Dynamites. For one, an awesome opener from Moxley VS Konosuke, and I just love that the fans got behind Konosuke before the end. Konosuke being All Elite now, he should really get in on a title story in 2023 on the road to Revolution. But at the same time, the most I see AEW doing in the immediate future is using him as an opponent Samoa Joe beats just so he doesn’t have to face Wardlow. At the same time, Don Callis watching, I bet he wants to bring Konosuke into the fold. Konosuke was Omega’s protégé for a minute, Callis probably feels he can lead Konosuke the same way he did Omega.
Another powerful promo from Hobbs, and I hope he comes back around to the TNT Championship soon. Cool acknowledgment that Hook’s been wrestling in AEW for a year now, and very good promo from Stokely to start towards a Moriarty VS Hook rematch. Moriarty & “Big Bill” Morrissey of course destroyed their opponents tonight. I’m sure Moriarty gets his rematch, but I wonder if now we’ll see a Hook & Jungle Boy VS Moriarty & Morrissey match before individual matches. JB could end up a giantslayer in AEW, having defeated Luchasaurus and now likely feuding with Morrissey.
Great promo to hype Mercedes VS Athena, I feel like this could be Athena’s win. Great Regina di Wave title match, but I had a feeling Shida would retain. Hayter of course makes an appearance to call out Shida, and that is going to be a great match between them. Hayter of course wins, but Shida is a big name to have as her first defense. Good promo from Shane Taylor & JD Griffey to hype up their match with Keith & Swerve. I feel like Final Battle should be the moment Swerve turns on Keith and joins Shane Taylor Promotions going forward. It’d be quite the turnaround from Shane & Griffey referencing Keith “abandoning” them, as now Keith will know how it feels.
Really good promo from FTR to accept the Briscoes’ challenge, and a really good promo from Ortiz and Kingston to call out the House of Black. And another hilarious promo on the part of Best Friends with Mark Henry. Kip twiddling his mustache was such a great tease as to who it was, and how awesome for Trent Seven to show up in AEW. WWE should’ve kept him, or done better to convince him to stay, whatever the issue was. I could go on about how Vince’s WWE didn’t respect enough of the NXT UK roster to try harder. Cassidy VS Seven, even with the overbooking of everyone else getting involved, was awesome. Great win for Cassidy, and great inclusion of Dustin Rhodes. Maybe we get Kip VS Dustin to name the next challenger for Cassidy, and either way we’ll get a really good match.
My Score: 8.7/10

AEW shares footage from after Dynamite.
Darby Allin made the save for Will Ospreay against Claudio Castagnoli, and Ospreay just wanted a second to talk. Ospreay says if Darby didn’t make that save, Ospreay wouldn’t be finishing this tournament. So just a quick one, Ospreay appreciates it and he thanks Darby very much. Darby says he just has this feeling. The same exact feeling that he had when Bryan Danielson got taken out. The same exact feeling he had when Chuck Taylor was taken out. Something is gonna happen again unless they all do something about it, so what is Ospreay willing to do? Darby says they can just find the Death Riders and put an end to this!
Ospreay says easy, now, tiger. But Darby says something is going to happen unless they do something! Ospreay understands, but can’t Darby see Ospreay’s got bigger things going on? He lost at WrestleDream, he lost at Full Gear, that’s back-to-back PPV loses and that does not happen to Ospreay. He has to regain momentum, and that means going through every single person in this tournament, and that includes Darby. Darby says that’s cute. Darby doesn’t care about Ospreay’s personal problems, or anyone else’s, because this is bigger than all of them. This is about AEW. Next year, there might not even be a Continental Classic if they don’t stop this now.
Doesn’t Ospreay see it? The Death Riders will keep chipping away and chipping away at everything that makes AEW what it is. So what is Ospreay doing? What is he doing about it? Ospreay is trying to win this tournament! He needs his momentum back. He can’t just drop everything. Ospreay needs this! So he’ll tell Darby this as a man who respects Darby: Ospreay respects everything Darby’s doing for AEW, but Ospreay needs his momentum. Then maybe afterwards, knock on his door. If Darby needs someone to fight alongside him, Ospreay’s game. See you next week. Ospreay heads out, but will either of them make it to the Holiday Bash?
Here are the current Continental Classic Blue League standings!
Kyle Fletcher: 3-0, 9 points
Kazuchika Okada: 1-1-1, 4 points
Daniel Garcia: 1-1-1, 4 points
Mark Briscoe: 1-2, 3 points

“Dem Boys in the house tonight, baby! Kyle Fletcher, I’m coming for you! I need this win, mathematically speaking! I’ma show you how we do! I’ma show you that I’m all dog, baby! All dog! ARF ARF RAA!”

“Beast Mortos.” Mortos ROARS, but Okada says, “No. B*tch Mortos.” The Rainmaker has some strong words for the menacing minotaur, but will Mortos make sure the Continental Champion does NOT make it to Worlds End?

AEW shares more footage from after Dynamite.
Reporters caught up with Mariah May to ask her about the return of Toni Storm, and Mariah said she DGAF! What happened to Toni is the same thing that happened to Mina, and it will be the same thing that happens to Thunder Rosa. Every single woman Mariah steps in the ring with has their hopes and dreams, and then they wish they were never born. Mina should just go back to modeling, because her wrestling career as she knows it is over. Mariah didn’t want to do that to Mina, she still loves Mina. But this is just what Mariah does, and will continue to do to any girl that wants to breathe the same air as her. No one can handle the Woman from Hell.
Rosa can go and yell about whatever bat s*it crazy BS she wants, Rosa just needs to name a time and place for Mariah to end her career! As for every other woman in AEW, or any other company, you all have the same dream. But there is only one reality. The Glamour has spoken, but will it fall on deaf ears?
Backstage interview with Thunder Rosa.
Tony Schiavone is with La Mera Mera and brings up Mariah’s comments. Rosa says time and place? March 16th, 2022, San Antonio, Texas, the time and place Rosa won the AEW Women’s World Championship and knew what she was made of. But it doesn’t matter who you ae when you hold the title! What matters is who you are when you aren’t. And Rosa knows in her heart that she is THE champion, for the people and for all of Women’s Wrestling! And that is something Mariah cannot say! And Mariah is cleaning up a mess with her ex-bestie, Toni Storm, but Rosa has a place reserved for Mariah in Hell!
Speaking of Toni Storm, she walks in and says hello, nice to meet everyone. Oh, sorry, she didn’t mean to interrupt. Hi, she’s Toni Storm, she just wanted to introduce herself. They shake hands and Storm says it is a pleasure to meet Thunder Rosa, as well as the living legend, Tony Schiavone. Okay, sorry, she’ll let you all get back to what you were doing. Rock on! Toni heads out and Rosa lets that… odd interaction go. Rosa tells Mariah that in two weeks, her father will be in the audience to see his daughter fight. And she told him to bring a handful of dirt from the graveyards of Tijuana to remind Rosa where she comes from, and where she’s taking Mariah.
So it will be December 28th, 2024, Worlds End! Rosa VS Mariah for the AEW Women’s World Championship, in a TIJUANA STREET FIGHT!! La Mera Mera has spoken, will she bury Mariah in the gave Mariah has dug for herself?

10 Man Tag: Daniel Garcia, Orange Cassidy, Komander & The Outrunners VS MXM Collection & The Premier Athletes w/ Mark Sterling!
While there are many things going on right now, from the Continental Classic to the war with the Death Riders, these teams are getting into the NBA spirit by having a 5v5 All Star showdown! Will the TNT Champion, Freshly Squeezed, the Commander of the Skies and the Youngest Men Alive build up some momentum for the holidays? Or will they get dunked on by Mansoor, Mason Madden, Tony Nese, Josh Woods & Ariya Daivari?
Well of course “Smart” Mark has to take over the introductions. And he says that the Premier Athletes have decided to “let the losers of St. Louis,” and of course these “model citizens,” join in on the pregame cheer. So when they say “Athletes,” you say “Rule,” nothing else! Hands in, boys. Oh, and they would be honored for MXM to put the tips in. Mansoor & Maxon put on finger protection before joining in. Ohhh…! “ATHLETES!” “SUCK!” Sterling never learns. The teams sort out and Garcia starts against the Technical Beast. The bell rings, the fans rally up, and Woods taunts Garcia. They tie up, Woods powers Garcia to ropes, but the ref counts.
Woods lets off but mocks Garcia putting his dukes up. Garcia shoves Woods, the two reset, and the fans rally up. They tie up, Woods slips around then SLAMS Garcia down! Woods waistlocks but Garcia fights off the roll-up. Woods SLAMS Garcia again, and mocks the dance! The fans boo but Garcia brushes that off. Garcia and Woods go again, Garcia waistlocks but Woods switches. Garcia switches, they go to ropes, and Woods bucks the O’Conner. Garcia avoids the knee, rolls Woods up, TWO! Woods hurries to his feet but Garcia trips him to ghost pin! TWO, and now Garcia shows Woods how it’s done!
Woods kicks Garcia low! Woods shouts, “ATHLETES!” St. Louis shouts, “SUCKS!” Woods whips, Garcia ducks ‘n’ dodges and CLOBBERS Woods! The fans fire up but Nese tags in, so Garcia knees Nese low. Garcia bumps Nese off buckles, tags in Cassidy, and the fans fire up as Cassidy stomps away on Nese! Cassidy lets off to bring Nese up, and the fans rally as Cassidy suplexes. Nese blocks, then powers free to throat chop! The fans boo, Nese whips, but Cassidy reaches out to tag Komander! Cassidy then dodges to tilt-o-whirl, but Nese stops the DDT! Nese suplexes, into STUN DOG MILLIONAIRE!
Cassidy holds Nese, Komander runs up, and Komander uses Nese to pommel horse and RANA Daivari! The fans fire up and Komander hurries to go up, up, but Mason distracts him! The ref reprimands, but Nese trips Komander up! Hot tag to Mansoor and then MXM both go after Komander. Mansoor pulls on a leg but Komander’s stuck in a backwards Tree of Woe, so Mansoor gets both legs free. MXM then hauls Komander up, CATWALK LEG DROP! Then they POSE! The fans are torn but Mansoor blows a kiss, and even mocks Garcia’s dance, while Collision goes picture in picture.
Mason joins in on the dance and Garcia wants after them, but the ref keeps him and the team back. MXM kicks Komander around, stomps him, and Mansoor ROCKS Komander to ropes. Tip touch tag to Daivari, and they mug Komander. Daivari spins Komander around to stomp him, then he tip touch tags Mansoor. They double whip Komander to a corner, then Daivari runs in, Komander goes up and over, then ducks under Mansoor, Mansoor LARIATS Daivari in the corner! Mansoor panics, Komander knuckle locks and CHOPS! Komander goes up and up, tightrope walks, then MISSILE DROPKICKS Daivari!
Komander comes back to SUPERKICK Mansoor! Komander staggers up, brings Mansoor around, tag to Turbo Floyd! Komander gets the fans fired up and Turbo climbs. Turbo rains down fists, and the fans count along to nine, flex, and TEN! Turbo tags Truth and Truth climbs up to rain down fists! The fans count again, and we go to nine, wind up, and TEN! Mansoor sputters but Truth tags Garcia. Garcia climbs up, he rains down fists, and he goes to nine, puts up his dukes, and he dances on Mansoor’s face! Garcia’s pick-up team is feeling it, and so is St. Louis, while Collision goes to break.
Collision returns as Komander tags in, but Nese & Daivari run up to mug him and The Outrunner! They toss out Turbo & Truth, then TOSS Komander to the corner! “ATHLETES!” “SUCK!” But then Garcia & Cassidy drag Nese & Daivari out of the ring! They brawl, Nese THROWS Garcia into railing while Daivari DECKS Cassidy! Komander is up and he builds speed, but Sterling trips him up! The fans boo but the ref missed that because Mansoor is distracting him! Komander grabs Sterling by the tie and the fans fire up, but Daivari CLOBBERS Sterling! The fans boo more but Daivari puts Komander on the apron.
Nese is on the apron and he suplexes Komander up and in for Woods, who then holds Komander up. Mason runs in, BOOT POWERBOMB COMBO!! Mansoor is up top now, FROG SPLASH!! Woods covers, Team Garcia all breaks it up! The fans fire up but now it’s a brawl! Team Garcia and the #PremierCollection all tumble out, Mason & Mansoor get Cassidy up! Cassidy fights the Centerfold, and Garcia slides in so he can SAIDO Mansoor! Mason HEADBUTTS Garcia! Cassidy tilt-o-whirls to DDT Mason! Cassidy kips up, the fans fire up, and Cassidy DIVES onto Mansoor! Cassidy sends Mansoor to a corner for Garcia to SHOTGUN!
The fans are thunderous as Koamnder is up top! Tightrope walk, for the SPACEMAN SWANTON! And he tags Cassidy on the way! Cassidy throws off the elbow pad, takes aim at Woods, but Sterling gets on the apron! Cassidy ORANGE PUNCHES Sterling!! Then he dodges Woods, ORANGE PUNCH!! Cover, Team Garcia wins!
Winners: Daniel Garcia, Orange Cassidy, Komander & The Outrunners, by pinfall
The team celebrates, that was a Freshly Squeezed victory! But while this was a big win and a lot of fun, it is time to focus on Worlds End. Will Garcia make his way out of the league to head for the Continental Championship? Will Cassidy overcome the Fatal 4 Way odds to finally be THE AEW World Champion?
Don Callis speaks.
“I had a bad night last night. A couple of turncoats who used to be under my employ, ‘Powerhouse’ Hobbs and Mark Davis, did a little switcharoo, a little number on the Don Callis Family. I woke up today with a hole in my heart because of that, but then I got fantastic news. The gods have smiled upon me because I am getting, in two week’s time, at Worlds End, I am getting my revenge on Powerhouse Hobbs. That’s right, a match against the Alpha, Konosuke Takeshita, has been granted. And it’s in two weeks at Worlds End, and I can’t wait.
‘If you thought everything was coming up the Don Callis Family, I’ve got one more thing to be excited about! Kyle Fletcher is getting ready right now to be in the main event tonight! And run the table and mathematically ensure that he goes on to Worlds End and then wins the Continental Championship, when he beats that degenerate, Mark Briscoe tonight on Collision. That is why the Don Callis Family is the true one percenters of professional wrestling. And you’re gonna see it tonight, and you’re gonna see it at Worlds End. And Hobbs, I’m gonna send you right back to the unemployment line.” Callis has made his promises, but will Konosuke and Kyle be able to keep them?
AEW Continental Classic, Blue League: Kyle Fletcher VS Mark Briscoe!
The Protostar is already 3-0 with 9 points, the standalone leader of this block. But will he solidify that position as Blue League’s number one seed? Or will the Aussie Arrow completely miss hitting the Sussex County Chicken?

They tie up, Kyle uses height to power Mark to a corner, and the ref counts. Kyle lets off with a roll back, and he finger guns at Mark. The fans taunt Kyle with, “Ospreay’s Better!” Kyle scowls and he bails out of the ring. The fans boo but Kyle says HE is better than Ospreay! Kyle goes back to the ring, stares Mark down as he steps inside, and the two reset. The fans rally behind Mark as the two tie up, and Mark waistlocks. Kyle wrenches and wristlocks, then he pushes on the hold.

Literally last minute, and the Sussex County Chicken snatches victory from the jaws of defeat! Callis is very upset by this upset victory, and now Mark has new life in the C2! Cassidy & Willow come out to celebrate with him, could Mark make himself one of the semifinalists going into Worlds End?
The Death Riders have hijacked a camera!
Jon Moxley checks if they’re rolling, and Wheeler Yuta says yeah, it’s rolling. He knows how to work that thing? Yeah. Moxley says FTR are about to get lost on their way home tonight. Oh, here they come. The Death Riders watch as Cash Wheeler & Dax Harwood walk through the backstage area. Then Marina Shafir stands in their way. Claudio & Pac snatch FTR with blindfold bags! FTR fights but Moxley helps outnumber the #TopGuys, and they drag FTR out to the parking lot. Yuta keeps the camera on him as he smiles and laughs at the carnage happening just on the other side of the wall. Will the Death Riders personally see to it that there is NO ONE to stand against them?
My Thoughts:
A great Collision here to wrap Winter is Coming Week, and I do appreciate they’re trying to get more and more people into the Death Rider story, as they should. To that end, good promo from Darby and Ospreay to try and get Ospreay to consider his part in all this. I get Ospreay’s side, he just wants to wrestle, win, and become champion again, but considering Claudio is in Gold League with him, he could end up a target, compelling Ospreay to join the fight. And quite the closing moment, with Death Riders going after FTR because they saved Cassidy from their attack. It’ll be quite the AEW Justice League moment when names like Cassidy, FTR, Ospreay and a few others stand against The Death Riders. And I say Justice League because DC Comics is Warner Brothers Discovery, too.
Speaking of the Continental Classic, awesome matches tonight for Blue League. Mortos was of course losing to Okada but he looked great against the champ. Good promo from Callis to hype up both the International Championship match of Konosuke VS Hobbs and tonight’s main event, and what an awesome win for Mark Briscoe. Kyle is leading at 9, but Okada is second at 7 and Mark is third at 6, and things could really get wild in the last round of Blue League competition. I feel like it should still come down to Okada and Kyle because Okada is the champ and should have a chance at defending his belt, and Kyle could potentially face Ospreay again.
Great 10 Man Tag from Garcia, Komander, Cassidy & Outrunners VS Premier Athletes & MXM, but it was clearly all for the fun so that the fans could stay energized during these long tapings. Good squash match win for Kris Statlander, but I feel like Lynn didn’t sell being held up for a 20+ stalling suplex much at all. Equally good squash match win for Toni Storm, and I absolutely LOVE that Toni Storm is pretending this is her first time in AEW. She got reset to her old persona so apparently that came with a memory reset, that is brilliant. Very good promo Mariah, and a very good promo from Rosa, including Toni’s part. A Tijuana Street Fight for the title, and it keeps both women strong no matter who wins.
Great tag match of Top Flight VS Lio & Action, but also a great use of Leila as a distraction in the wrong way. I almost thought she was going to turn and join Lio & Action, but Leila’s done fairly well as a Face now so I feel like she’ll stay a Face. She could easily just give a promo about how Lio & Action didn’t care about her and that’s why she sticks with Dante & Darius. Private Party VS Lio & Action is going to be a great, but I would think Quen & Kassidy win out. And then great International Women’s Cup Qualifier from Willow VS Hayter. Willow was the natural choice given her accolades.
And while it’s great for Julia to return in person, AEW sure fumbled it. The lights went out during the match, aka way too early, and then I don’t think she did a good job choosing elbow gloves. Those things were falling down the whole time, it looked more like she had a big scrunchy wristband. But hey, Hayter VS Hart in a House Rules match for Worlds End would be great for them both, and it’d be quite the way for Hart to get a return win.
My Score: 8.9/10
