HPW prepares for a Second Spectacular Spectacle!

After ThunderStruck, HPW returns to Spectacle Rock for a SECOND Spectacular Spectacle! And there will be a must-see surprise in store!

HPW returns to Spectacle Rock for June!

On Friday, June 16th, the Summer starts off with red hot action! And nothing’s hotter than battles for the gold!

The Twilight Princess takes on a double header!

Midna is HPW’s first dual champion! She is both the Goddess Champion and the Death Mountain Champion, and we know after ThunderStruck that Aveil is #1 contender to the former, and Lupay is #1 contender to the latter. But Midna isn’t going to keep either of them waiting, she’s going to have two matches in one night! Will the #TwoBeltPrincess hold onto both thrones? Or will she lose it all for the Summer?

One belt, four contenders!

The Hero’s Shadow stopped Skull Kid from cheating him out of the Triforce Championship, but then he was confronted by the Hyrule Princess, Zelda, the Zora Rock ‘n’ Rolla, Fin Balure, the living mask monster, Majora, and his own brother, the Hero of Hyrule, Link! Link is still owed something for Majora screwing him over in the Triforce Tournament Finals, and is still a multiple time Triforce Champion besides that. Zelda set an incredible record with her HPW Goddess Championship reign. Fin was a former Termina Champion and has been running strong for some time. But Majora is a wild card.

Majora made a point that he was the reason Skull Kid made it to the Triforce Tournament finals and won, but he hasn’t done anything on his own. However, it is undeniable that Majora is massive, menacing and mighty. Will he use his monstrous power to make it through three top stars at once? Will Fin get his first shot at the top title? Will Zelda look to go from Princess to Queen? Or will the blood brothers soon battle once more?

But wait! There’s more!

As great as those matches are, there’s going to be even more spectacle for Spectacle Rock! The UnderWorld Order won big in Blood & Thunder and continue to reign as HPW Trios Champions. But HPW is going to go above and beyond to decide who their next challengers shall be! A whopping NINE teams are being contacted to compete in a unique match type! But who are those nine teams? Just wait and see! In fact, that’s the name of the game! This will be the first-ever Wait & See Battle Royal!

How does it work? The nine teams will be sent out in waves corresponding to suits in a playing card deck, until all nine teams are active. As any battle royal, an individual is only eliminated when thrown over the top rope and both feet hit the floor. And a team is only eliminated when all three members are eliminated, meaning just one member could win it all for their team! Who will prove to be the aces of the HPW Trios Division and head for the UWO?

My Thoughts:

Just over a month from now and we have the Second Spectacular Spectacle as the HPW calendar starts to solidify. No more random events, we’re going to have a steady schedule from now on. And while I felt ThunderStruck 2’s Blood & Thunder match underdelivered, I hope I can get this Spectacular Spectacle to feel like a spectacle. That’s mostly why that mystery battle royal is happening. It’s basically the AEW Casino Battle Royale, but maybe just with suits that sound Legend of Zelda related.

It was a massive week on the Bandwagon. Episode 7 of Season 3 of Invincible changed pretty much everything. While the guys all had differing opinions about the first 6 Episodes, Episode 7 brought us the Invincible War and delivered one of the best and most powerful Episodes in the series’ history. As if that was not enough, Daredevil: Born Again debuted this week. The Nerds unanimously lauded the first two Episodes, and the first 15 minutes of the series will not soon be forgotten as Disney certainly seems to have a winner on their hands here. But the fellas do not stop there, as Villian Madness continues with the first-round battles in the Criminally Insane region. How does Ultron end up in Crocodile boots? You will need to tune in to find out.

Countdown to the Triforce Anniversary!

The Bracket Finals are set, but HPW still has more! Tali moves on with her revenge, and Zelda wants to talk with Link?

Any brackets left unbusted?

Militron VS Ganon, Sidon VS Ghirahim, Thunderbird VS Fin Balure, all incredible matches! But will Militron really defy the leader of the Dark Forces? Can the newest star in HPW survive the Living Blade? And in a battle of former champions, who takes one step closer to THE Undisputed HPW Triforce World Championship?

One down, two to go.

The score right now is Tali: 1, Gerudo Sisterhood: 0. The Dame of the Dunes took down Buliara in the Drenan Highlands, and now on the Nima Plain, near the foot of Satori Mountain, she will face Riju. Can Tali’s rampage be stopped? Or will Tali stomp on another Desert Flower?

Zelda speaks.

“So… I know it’s been a few months already since HyruleMania, but I had to take my time. Not to recover physically, but more mentally. I know I have no reason to complain. I set a record as HPW Goddess Champion, the first to go for two whole years as a champion. But even then, after falling short of the HPW Triforce Championship again… I’m disappointed in myself. When I aim for something, I go for it. So I just…” Zelda takes a moment to gather her words. “Link. If you care about me at all, you will meet me in the ring at Nima Plain, March 21st. We’ll go from there.” The video stops, and clearly the question is: What does Zelda want?

My Thoughts:

Probably not my best teaser but I’m always on a time crunch. But perhaps less is more, as I might give something away in trying to foreshadow things. Wish me luck with just two weeks before the event.
