Six Man Tag: The Elite VS Bullet Club Gold!

While the Young Bucks will face FTR for the AEW World Tag Team Championships, Kenny Omega has Juice Robinson, Jay White & Konosuke Takeshita in another Six Man Tag this Sunday! Rock Hard brings the Gunns along for this one, will the Bang Bang Gang strike first? Or will The Elite, THE THE Elite dunk on Juice & The Ass Boys?

But as the BCG heads down the ramp, The Elite rush up to meet them! Fans fire up as the trios brawl, and Austin puts Nick in the ring. Omega whips but Juice reverses to send him into railing! Austin runs in but Nick dumps Austin out! Nick DECKS Colten off the apron, then DIVES to take out the Gunns! Juice runs in to knee low! Juice puts Nick in the ring, then looks under the ring! This isn’t a match yet, so Juice gets a chair! The ref reprimands but Juice JAMS Nick! The ref stops Juice from going any further and fans cheer! But Juice DECKS the ref with the Left Hand o’ God! But he gets DOUBLE SUPERKICKS for it!

The Gunns AND Jay CLOBBER the Bucks! They stomp away on the Bucks in corners, then Jay DECKS Kenny off the apron! Fans taunt the “Ass~ Boys!” but they lock ‘n’ load, 3:10 TO YUMA for Nick! Fans boo more but now the Gunns double whip Matt. Matt holds ropes, to SUPERKICK Colten! Matt dodges Austin to SIUPERKICK again! White returns, blocks a kick and hits an URENAGE! The Switchblade drags Matt back up but Omega runs in! So White gets him! Omega spins out, full nelsons, but Colten runs in! Colten kicks low, whips Omega to a corner, and he runs in, but Omega dodges the splash!

Colten staggers, into a SNAP DRAGON! Fans fire up, Austin returns, he kicks low and says “SUCK IT!” Austin runs, Omega dodges, SNAP DRAGON! White CLOBBERS Omega and fires off on that bad shoulder! White CHOPS, CHOPS and CHOPS! Fans “WOO~!” as White runs, but Omega follows! V-TRIGGER! Omega aims, he says “BANG,!” and runs, into a TAKESHITA LINE!! Konosuke is here, he and White mug Omega! Juice and the Gunns keep after the Bucks on the outside, taunting the fans, and now White CHOKES Nick with a cord! BUT HERE COMES FTR! Dax Harwood & Cash Wheeler go right after BCG!

Fans fire up as the Bucks and FTR all throw hands on the Bang Bang Gang, but Konosuke doesn’t care, they aren’t really his team. He goes back to Omega, stands him up and talks trash, then he throws boxing elbows! Konosuke spins, into a V-TRIGGER!! Fans fire up as Omega Electric Chair Lifts! Konosuke flails, gets free and runs away! Fans boo but The Future survives for the present! Will the Cleaner, the Cowboy and Kota Ibushi make Konosuke pay for choosing Don Callis over them?

Backstage sit-down interview with MJF.

Renee Paquette sits with the AEW World Champion and thanks him for his time given how busy he is, so she’ll get right to it. This Sunday, AEW All In London, Wembley Stadium, over 80 THOUSAND fans. When he hears that number, what does that mean to him? It means he’ll be chubbed up! But let’s be honest, if there’s one thing MJF knows about himself is that he can’t get enough of fans chanting his name, “so Daddy’s trunks are gonna be awfully tight in London Town. Let’s face it, British people freakin’ love me, dude. I’m like the 2023 version of British Bulldog if he was Jewish and a good public speaker.”

MJF loves the crooked teeth Brits, too. So here is what he wants from the fans: when it is time for the main event, grab a pint, get pissed and cheer on your favorite chaff, so they can make this the loudest main event in the history of professional sports! Cheer for MJF like he’s the second coming of Winston Churchill, and he promises he will buy “every single one of you crazy hooligan alcoholics a pint.” Wait, really? No, Renee, are you nuts? He’s gonna make “that mark” Tony Khan pay for it. But we can edit this, right? Right… Sweet.

Alright, so as they said, Wembley Stadium, over 80 THOUSAND fans in London, MJF opens All In with the Zero Hour and the ROH World Tag Team Championships alongside Adam Cole, to then main event it with Adam Cole for the AEW World title. MJF grumbles that “that shmuck” got him to wrestle twice in one night, but he still loves Cole, he’s his best friend. Then how much pressure is MJF feeling going into Sunday? MJF says the old MJF would’ve BS’d this and said none, but the fact is, it is an immense amount of pressure, the most he’s felt his entire life. This is the biggest event in professional wrestling.

And none of this happens without not just his own talents, the support of the fans, but let’s also draw the attention to those who paved the road for pro-wrestling prior. MJF is about to be the biggest headliner in pro-wrestling and that’s insane. Think about those who came before: Hogan, Sammartino, Dusty Rhodes, John Cena, The Rock, Stone Cold, HHH, Taker, etcetera! And MJF is standing on the shoulders of giants. And on Sunday, August 27th, if he wins, he might become a giant himself. So a lot of pressure, but it is a pressure he is ready for.

There also seem to be some question marks around his friendship with Adam Cole, what it even is and the authenticity of it. Renee cues up footage that takes us back to June 14th, the time limit draw of their Title Eliminator Match. Cole wanted five more minutes, and MJF just stared him down as he said no. Then flash forward to July 19th, and the two of them hugging it out. Though MJF also had a frown on his face after. And then of course, just four weeks ago, Collision on July 29th, their loss to FTR and MJF wanting to hit Cole and Cole accepting it. Then just two weeks ago here on Dynamite, Cole getting on MJF’s case for how he treated Roderick Strong.

And just last week, MJF saying that the only thing that truly matters to him is the AEW World Championship. Renee says there are some glaring cracks and contradictions. What is his reaction to that? MJF’s reaction is that this is all new for him. It is vulnerable of him to even say that. He’s never had a genuine friend before, and that’s not making jokes or “work” anyone. That’s real. “Adam’s made me a better person in a really short amount of time. He taught me I can trust and that I can let my guard down. Frankly, Adam’s… Adam’s not just my friend, he’s my brother. And yeah, man, brothers fight. Brothers push each other. Brothers are competitive.

“But at the end of the day, brothers hug it out. And we always hug it out. And I understand why you guys would have reservations about trusting me. I’m far from perfect. Matter of fact, think about the worst thing you’ve ever done in your life. Okay, you just did. I’ve probably down that twice. However, I’ve been vulnerable for the first time in my life, and I guess what I’m asking you people to do is go on this journey with me. Be vulnerable with me, and I promise you, you will be rewarded. And that’s the first promise in my life that I intend to keep. Because I’m not just a scumbag, I’m your scumbag.”

Renee says this is such a monumental weekend for everyone in AEW, and she wishes him luck. MJF says he’s happy to do it with his best friend. What will Adam Cole have to say to all this? We hear from him in a sit-down interview later tonight.

Jon Moxley VS Rey Fenix w/ Alex Abrahantes!

For the first time ever, we will see a six-on-six Stadium Stampede match this Sunday! But the Blackpool Combat Club still needs to find three men to fight alongside them! Will the Maniac at least gain some momentum for his squad? Or will the Firebird show him the meaning of ANIMO?

Moxley finishes his entrance with AEW picture in picture. AEW returns to single picture as Fenix makes his entrance, Hyper Man Abrahantes by his side. No one else is allowed ringside given the history between all those involved. The bell rings and Fenix fires off! Fenix builds speed yet again, to DIVE yet again! Another direct hit at the ramp and fans are thunderous! Fenix calls his hot, “ANIMO!” but Moxley wraps on a SLEEPER! Fenix endures, Moxley tears at the mask! Fans boo the disrespect and the ref reprimands. The ref gets Moxley to stop but Moxley doesn’t care. Moxley then CURB STOMPS Fenix on the ramp! Abrahantes checks Fenix but Moxley soaks up the cheers and jeers.

The ref reprimands again but Moxley just shrugs and waits on Fenix. Fenix crawls but Moxley runs out to BOOT him down! Moxley RAMS Fenix into railing, knocking them loose! Moxley then brings Fenix around, taunts the fans, then RAMS Fenix into more railing! Fans rally but Moxley puts Fenix in the ring. Moxley storms around the way, slides back into the ring, and then runs to BOOT Fenix down! Moxley runs to BOOT Fenix down! Fans chant for tables but this isn’t that kind of match. Fenix CHOPS! Moxley staggers up, clutching his lower back, and he gets into the ring. Moxley stays there while the ref goes to double check Fenix. Fenix is still a bit dazed, and he staggers up and into the ring. Moxley is there, runs in and hits a CUTTER! Cover, TWO!! Fenix is still in this and Moxley is annoyed.

Moxley paces around, talks some trash, and he flips off Abrahantes! Moxley drags Fenix up, but Fenix CHOPS! And CHOPS! Moxley JABS! And JABS! And JABS! Fenix sits down, Moxley KNEES him down! Cover, TWO! Moxley keeps on Fenix with an armlock, and then a double wristlock. Fenix endures as Moxley traps his head with a leg and pulls on the arm! Fans rally, Fenix fights around and Dynamite returns to single picture as Moxley keeps on the headscissor hold. Fenix keeps fighting so Moxley brings him up and in. Moxley lifts for a PILEDRIVER! Moxley slashes his throat, vowing to end this. Moxley drags Fenix with knuckle locks, for DRAGON STOMPS! Shoutout to Bryan Danielson, but then Fenix kips up!? SUPERKICK! And then he throws more elbows! HAMMER ‘N’ ANVIL! Moxley lets off to drag Fenix up, PARA- NO, Fenix cradles to counter! TWO!! Moxley runs up, blocks a kick and ROCKS Fenix! But Fenix spins to SOBAT, front kick, and-

The standing count is back, Moxley stirs and sits up. Fenix flounders, we’re at 5 of 10! Moxley pushes himself up but Fenix rises! Fenix CHOPS, Moxley forearms, repeat! Winner: Jon Moxley, by submission

Moxley puts out Fenix’s fire, and the BCC has the momentum! And wait, the rest of the BCC rushes out! No more ringside ban now that the match is over, and Claudio uses the hook-end of a crowbar to drag Fenix up by his mask!! Yuta has his own crowbar, and fans boo as Yuta taunts Fenix with it. But here comes Eddie & Penta! WAIT! Who is standing in their way?! Is that ORTIZ?!?! Him and a madball sock!? And wait, SANTANA!? Santana is back, the Proud ‘n’ Powerful are reunited but against Eddie! Santana brawls with Penta, and then Ortiz CRACKS Eddie with the madball! Then he CRACKS Penta with it!!

And then Yuta CLOBBERS Fenix with the crowbar!! But wait, here come Best Friends! Cassidy’s hand is wrapped in a chain!! They chase off the BCC & PNP, but the damage has been done! The medics are called in to help Fenix after that headshot. If Fenix can’t compete at All In, will this just boil back down to a 5v5? And if so, will Eddie, Penta and their new amigos make the BCC pay in blood?

AEW returns as Fenix is loaded into an ambulance.

Penta and Alex ride with him, and Eddie is beside himself. The betrayal of his friends in Moxley, Ortiz and Santana is one thing, but for them to go this far to take out another friend in Fenix… Renee walks in and says Eddie tells her that her husband did this. She defends she’s not trying to be insensitive but Eddie refuses to talk to her on mic. What is this? She wants him to fix it? He’ll fix it at Wembley, just watch. What will The Mad King and his team do with one man down?

Backstage interview with Sammy Guevara.

Earlier today, Renee was with the Spanish God to ask him about last week, where Chris Jericho agreed to join The Don Callis Family, only for Callis to reject him and have Will Ospreay brutally beat Jericho down. Then Sammy was the one to save Jericho. Why? But in steps Matthew Menard, Angelo Parker and even Daniel Garcia. They ask him what he’s doing! They saw Jericho accept the offer, and the only reason things went south was because of that stupid painting! Daddy Magic says “Don Callis is exactly who we thought he was.” But Sammy counters that Jericho isn’t who they think he is!

Jericho is Sammy’s friend! They’ve been day once since Dynamite, and sure, there’ve been the ups and the downs, and Sammy doesn’t agree with everything Jericho does. But Jericho was blinded by friendship. Sometimes that happens. Jericho’s known Callis for over 30 years, and when your friends are in the wrong, that is when you need to be there for them even more. Sammy said he’d always have Jericho’s back and that’s what he was doing. Parker says okay, but understand that as Sammy’s friend, they don’t want him blinded by friendship the exact same way! Look at the trend here! It is always Sammy who is there for his friend.

But when it comes to Sammy needing a friend, is Jericho gonna be there for him? Something to think about. Menard & Parker leave, Garcia lingers a bit, then he leaves. Is there any chance the remnants of the Jericho Appreciation Society stay friends? Or will Sammy be the only one watching out for The Ocho?

Tony Schiavone is in the ring.

He stands by a table, and with security, as we prepare for the contract signing of Jericho VS Ospreay for All In. So please welcome first, Will Ospreay! Fans cheer as the IWGP United Kingdom Champion (yes, Ospreay changed the name and nationality of the former IWGP United States Championship) is accompanied by Don Callis. The two go to the ring together, and Schiavone apologizes for omitting Callis in the introduction. Fans boo Callis now but Schiavone moves on to introduce Chris Jericho! Fans cheer and sing along with Judas, and Sammy is with Jericho! Le Sex Gods go to the ring and stand on the other side of the table.

Schiavone says this is all in order here. The contract is for this dream match at All In. Jericho with Sammy, and Ospreay with Callis, and extra security given the volatility of this situation. A pen for each man, if someone would like to sign first. Callis hands the pen to Ospreay then takes the mic for himself. Fans boo but Callis says, “Everybody wants to know why I did what I did last week, Chris. It’s real simple. The reason I did what I did can be summed up in four words: Will BAH GAWD Ospreay!” Callis realized the only thing better than having Jericho in the family is if he could play a part in ending the career of the Greatest Of All Time!

Fans tell Don to STFU but Callis ignores it to explain that he made an offer to Ospreay that no one else could. And you know what the deal was? It was Jericho’s head on a platter at Wembley! So yeah, Callis threw away 34 YEARS of friendship for money and power! He chose writing history rather than watching it, and he chose Ospreay over Jericho! “So Chris, it occurs to me on a serious note, if I can get serious here with you, that a couple of years ago, you nearly died in England. Well, Chris. This Sunday at Wembley, I’m gonna be in Will Ospreay’s corner to make sure that job gets done to you once and for all by Will Ospreay, may God guide his hand!”

Fans boo Callis’ violent vow and Ospreay takes the mic to tell them all to shut up so he can talk. “Oi, Chris, are you actually taking this match seriously? Or is this some type of vanity project to say that your band performed in Wembley Stadium? Bruv, do you understand what Wembley Stadium is? It is the BIGGEST venue in the entire of the UK! This match is gonna change my life, bruv! I’ve got a missus at home and a four-year-old stepson. Yeah, here’s some news for you guys! The day before I wrestle Chris Jericho, I’m doing an indie! Cuz I’m trying to get as much money together to put my kid through school! This match changes my life, bruv!

“After this- OI, SHUT UP! PIPE DOWN, BRUV! After this, after I beat you, in pro-wrestling’s biggest event, I get to be the only man to say I’ve beaten Kenny Omega, Kazuchika Okada and Chris Jericho in two months!” Fans cheer that fact, and Ospreay says that goes very well in six months time, because his contract comes up for NJPW. And who is not gonna pay millions and millions for Ospreay? Because he KNOWS he is the best wrestler int he world! He’s better than The Elite, than Danielson, than PUNK! And better than JERICHO! Fans were with him until then.

But Ospreay says all of Jericho’s lineage, championships and legacy, Ospreay respects it all. But all it is is fuel for Ospreay’s future! Ospreay signs his part and hands it over to Jericho. Jericho takes off his jacket and Sammy handles it. Jericho gets on the mic to talk about that future, and the present while they’re at it. Congrats on all the things Ospreay has accomplished these last few months. But Ospreay might not have accomplished all those things if not for Jericho.

Because five years ago, when the entire wrestling world and the pundits and the sheet writers and the Meltzers were saying that Ospreay was gonna be in a wheelchair before he was 30 years old, like his hero, the Dynamite Kid, because he was just so reckless, JERICHO called Ospreay! Jericho got Ospreay’s number, called him, and told him to tone it down. Because if he didn’t, he wouldn’t have the longevity of Jericho, nor would he become what Jericho knew he’d become before anyone else, which is one of the top stars in this business. Fans cheer that and Jericho says that Ospreay did listen, and here we are, Wembley Stadium, Jericho VS Ospreay.

And Ospreay didn’t have to attack from behind just to get this match. Jericho said before that this match was in the works for years! It was supposed to happen in 2021, at the Tokyo Dome, before the lockdown! But there’s no lockdowns now, and this is Wembley! This IS the biggest show in pro-wrestling history, which means it’s the biggest show of even Jericho’s career! Almost 33 YEARS, don’t tell Jericho this is a vanity project! This is bigger than any WrestleMania, Tokyo Dome or anything else! This match means more to Jericho than anything.

Ospreay is coming at this from the bottom, Jericho is coming at it from the top, with everyone trying to knock Jericho off and every hater social media d*pshit after him, trying to predict his demise! Fans fire up and Jericho says that he has to be the best Jericho he’s ever been to beat Ospreay. And in return, Ospreay has to be the best Ospreay he’s ever been to beat Jericho. Jericho sings his part, and tells Ospreay to prove it to Jericho, to his family! To his mother, his father, his missus and his stepson! Prove it to them in front of 80 THOUSAND that you can beat Jericho! And don’t make him regret the fact he called you five years ago, or regret that he kept Ospreay from being in a wheelchair,

Ospreay SLAPS the mic, so Jericho SLAPS Ospreay! Sammy and the security step in as the two want after each other! Schiavone gets out of the way before things get any wilder! Jericho and Ospreay are red hot, will they burn it down in Wembley?

Backstage sit-down interview with Adam Cole.

Renee thanks Cole as she did MJF for taking this time. “We are days away from AEW All In taking over Wembley Stadium, unbelievable.” So to get right to it, the relationship/friendship with MJF and all the time they’ve spent together. As with MJF, Renee cues up a highlight reel. There’s Cole wiping some of the cake off MJF’s face, them winning big in AEW Fight Forever, now with Stadium Stampede mode DLC. There’s them all drunk and fired up wanting to DOUBLE CLOTHESLINE a waiter, and then actually doing just that sober to the janitor. And of course, them hugging it out after tag team victory during the tournament.

Renee asks what all this makes him feel? Cole says it’s “so bizarre because never in a million years would you think a guy like Adam Cole and a guy like MJF would not only get along but become, seriously, best friends.” Cole thinks the world of MJF professionally, absolutely amazing wrestler, and they’ve clearly had a ton of fun together. But what Cole appreciates most is that Max helped Cold find himself again. Cole hasn’t really gone into this, but when he first came back from injury, his confidence was at an all time low. This friendship he’s formed with Max, it reminded Cole of who the real Adam Cole is, and he’ll be grateful forever for that.

Renee says talking about this weekend, so much going on, especially for MJF & Adam Cole. Cole could walk out as the new ROH World Tag Team Champions, as AEW World Champion, but as he touched on, for Cole to land in AEW and go through what he went through, fight his way back, that was a lot. What would it mean for Cole to become either of those champions, but namely the AEW World Champion? Well, when Cole got into pro-wrestling, he didn’t go in with the intention of being “a wrestler.” He wanted to be the best wrestler. He’s won world titles all over, but the AEW World Championship solidifies you as the best professional wrestler on the planet.

So as far as that world title match with MJF, that is everything. Cole doesn’t want to win, he needs to win, and he will. Then another thing to bring up is Roderick Strong & The Kingdom have been questioning who Cole is as a friend, and who he is with MJF. There’s another highlight reel here. Flashback to June 28th, Cole was about to leave with MJF and he hugged it out with Strong. Strong told him he can’t really trust MJF, and Cole said of course not, that guy’s a maniac! But Cole is just playing along right now. What if MJF watches this back? He’ll find Cole out! That’s when MJF walked in and made fun of Roddy as “generic White guy.”

There was also July 19th, where Cole and MJF made it through another round, and Cole picked up the world title for MJF, only to look at it longingly. Cole feels awkward now, seeing how it looked to MJF in that moment. And then there’s just a few weeks ago, August 2nd, when they were hugging it out again, only for the week after on August 9th, Cole gets mad at MJF for mocking Roddy more. And then just last week, after MJF & Cole ran off Aussie Open, Cole gearing up to Superkick MJF, only to pull back and hug it out. After watching that back, how does it make Cole feel to have people questioning Cole’s intentions?

Cole laughs and says he is done. He doesn’t understand how people find it so hard to process that two people can be friends. Is it that hard? Is it that hard? He says this one time and one time only: There are NO issues between him and Max, NONE. Thank you, bye. Did Cole seem defensive to anyone else? Will Cole really hope he’s right that MJF doesn’t watch these shows back?

Tornado Tag: Darby Allin & Nick Wayne VS Swerve Strickland & AR Fox w/ Prince Nana!

The Relentless One’s relentless schedule continues! Darby beat Christian Cage but got beat down by Luchasaurus, and that was after making it through the rest of the Mogul Embassy before that. With the Tag Team Coffin Match this Sunday, will Darby make it to All In? Or will Fyter Fest be “Whose House?” “SWERVE’S HOUSE!”

The bell rings, Darby SHOTGUNS Swerve! Fox is stunned but he rushes Nick. Nick dodges to then TACKLE Fox and fire off fast hands! Nick owes Fox tenfold for almost bleeding him dry in his own hometown! Darby and Swerve brawl outside by the ramp, Swerve KNEES Darby low, and while Nick DROPKICKS Fox back down, Swerve sends Darby into railing! Nick goes up and up and aims at Swerve, but Fox trips him up first! Fox then hits a SPLIT LEG SPIDER GERMAN!! Fox throws off his shirt, to reveal he’s still wearing that blood-stained tank top! Swerve drags Nick out, sets him and Darby up, and Fox goes to the apron.

Fox aims, springboards, IMPLODING CANNONBALL! Direct hit on both Darby & Nick, and then Fox rips up the tank top as he stares down Nick’s mom! Nana talks trash, she shouts back, and Fox throws the bloody tank top at her! She throws it right back! Swerve laughs and has Fox back off so they can go after Darby & Nick. They drag Nick & Darby up, bring them around the way, and Fox BOOTS Nick down while Swerve SMACKS Darby off the apron! Nick crawls, Darby drags himself onto the apron, but Swerve KICKS Nick down! Swerve then drags Nick up and over, to hit an APRON BACK SUPLEX!

Fox stares Nick down while Swerve soaks up the heat. Swerve then goes up to the apron after Darby while Fox does the same and has Nick. Nana says to end this, Fox and Swerve suplex, but Nick and Darby each slip free! They send the Moguls into each other, then knock them off the apron! Nick goes up, DOUBLE WAYNE’S WORLD to the floor! And Darby’s up top, SUPER COFFIN DROP onto them both!! Fans fire up, Darby puts Fox in the ring and Dynamite goes picture in picture.

Darby covers, TWO! Fox is still in this for the Embassy but Darby keeps on him. Nick slides in but Swerve drags him right back out! So Darby storms over! Swerve moves so Darby bails out on the Plancha, only for Fox to BOOT him down! Fox soaks up the cheers and jeers, gets on the corner to get even more, and then joins Swerve back on the outside. They storm up on Darby and Nick, throws some hands, then bring both along to where Nick’s mom is. They CHOP Darby and CHOP Nick and Nick’s mom can only watch. Fox storms after Darby to DUMP him over the railing! Swerve fireman’s carries Nick, to TOSS him over!

Fox then goes up to AX HANDLE them both down! Nana breaks out the phone and Swerve vlogs this! Darby turns things around on Fox to CHOP, but Swerve sends Nick into Darby! They brawl in front of the stands, Fox stomps Darby and Swerve SMACKS Nick off railing. Fox hops up onto the railing, and he JUMP KICKS Nick down! Darby ROCKS Swerve, then CLOBBERS Fox! Darby fires off hands on his former friend, then shouts at his rival. Darby runs to BASEMENT COFFIN SPLASH! They collide with someone’s luggage!? Dynamite returns to single picture, Fox CLUBS Darby and drags Nick up.

Fox brings Nick around, CLUBS him, then they go right up to where his mom is in the front row! Nick has a bloody nose and Fox says she’s gonna see this “all over again! ALL OVER AGAIN!” Fox DUMPS Nick over while she says this is going too far. Swerve DUMPS Darby over now, and they’re ringside again. Swerve snap suplexes Nick to the floor! Nick writhes, crawls, and Fox paces. Fox drags Nick up, Swerve puts Darby in the ring, and Fox stomps Nick in a corner. Swerve CHOPS Darby, Fox ROCKS Nick. They coordinate, double snapmare and roll, SHOTGUN for Darby and COMPLETE SHOT for Nick!

Darby falls out of the ring, Fox wheelbarrows Nick, but Nick BOOTS Swerve away! Nick goes up and up and DOUBLE- NO, Wayne’s World flies into a POWERBOMB NECKBREAKER!! Fans lose their mind over that combo and Swerve covers, DARBY BREAKS IT! Fans fire up as Darby saves this one, and then BOOTS Fox from a corner! THROWBACK STUNNER! Then Darby DIVES into Swerve and they hit the desk! Fans fire up and Darby stands Swerve up to RAM him into railing! Darby grabs a chair, drags Swerve over and makes him take a seat. Fans fire up, “This is Awesome!” as Darby fires hands!

But Fox goes up the corner, TIGER WALL SAULT! Fox puts Darby in the chair now, and Swerve KILL STOMPS Darby down!! And now they have Nick all alone. Nick has a bloody nose but he drags himself up to his feet. Fans fire up as Nick blocks one boot but not the other! Swerve takes Nick down, sends him into Fox, and Fox suplexes for ANARCHY! Cover, TWO!?!? Nick survives and fans fire up again! The Embassy can’t believe it, but they drag Nick up again. Suplex and clinch, ANARCHY FISHERMAN BUSTER!! Cover, TWO?!?!? Nick Wayne survives again! But he gets a HOUSE CALL for it! Cover, TWO?!?!?!

Nick Wayne will not die and the fans are loving it! But Swerve drags him up, whips him to a corner, and runs in with Fox, DOUBLE BOOTS! Nick falls over, Fox goes up top, 450 FLOP as Nick moves! Swerve is too busy celebrating prematurely, and Nick hooks Fox, O’CONNER BRIDGE! Darby drags Swerve out of the ring! Darby & Nick win!!

Winners: Darby Allin & Nick Wayne, by pinfall

Swerve & Fox are stunned! Darby & Nick snatch victory from the jaws of defeat! Swerve gets a mic and… he laughs? “This is so disappointing. This is so disappointing. And by disappointing, I mean you, Fox.” Fox can’t believe Swerve would say that. But Swerve asks why, whenever Fox gets the opportunity of a lifetime, HE BLOWS IT?! Nana blames Fox, too. Swerve says he has tried. Why is Fox such a loser? Little did Fox know, this was a test! This was all a test! Fox asks what he’s talking about, but Swerve says that Fox can’t beat an 18 year old child that Swerve swept the floor with! Nana, stop, let him talk!

Swerve says if Fox can’t even do that, he can’t trust him. If he can’t trust him in this match, he damn sure can’t trust him at Wembley in front of 80 thousand! Fox tells Swerve he can’t do him like this, it ain’t over yet. But Swerve tells Nana to do the light work. Nana says, “On behalf of the Mogul Embassy, AR Fox… YOU ARE FIRED!” Fox turns around and Brian Cage DISCUS LARIATS him!! And then drags him up to DRILL CLAW!! The Machine destroys Fox, but Darby, Nick and STIIIIING are here! They storm up and run the Embassy off! Fans fire up as the Relentless Icons are in full force!

Darby takes the mic up to tell Fox, “What’d I tell you? I wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t for you. You changed my life, you took me in when I was homeless. And no matter what you did to me, I’m always gonna credit you for helping me make it here. Take my hand.” Fox does, and Darby stands Fox up. Darby says he loves Fox, and they hug it out. Darby has forgiven Fox, but he tells Swerve, “you’re stupider than I thought! 80 thousand people in London this Sunday, what’re you gonna do? Who do you got? Who do you got?!” Swerve grins, as does Nana. Out walks Christian Cage & Luchasaurus?!

Captain Charisma says, “You guys shouldn’t look so surprised. The true greats are always two steps ahead. Isn’t that right, Stinger? Darby, Sting, are you gonna introduce me to your little friend? I think I know who this guy is, I heard a lot about you, Nick Wayne. It’s nice to meet you in person, finally. In fact, I heard a lot about you, I heard about your story, and I understand that you have a father… and your father is dead.” Fans boo but Christian says he understands Nick’s dad was a pro-wrestler. Well, Christian never heard of Buddy Wayne before so he must not have been very good.

Fans boo but Christian says good news! Since Nick’s dad was such a talentless hack, he doesn’t have to live up to anything! And if Christian were Nick, he’d steer clear of Wembley this Sunday, because Christian would hate to give Nick deja vu as he watches a casket close on someone else he loves in his life! Fans boo as Christian goes to an all new low, and Christian tells Nick that if he plays his cards right, Christian will be there to mentor Nick when it’s all over. “Because we all know every fatherless child needs a true mentor, and there’s nob- KEEP IT DOWN WHILE I’M CONDUCTING BUSINESS! There’s no better mentor than the TNT Champion!”

Fans boo as hard as ever, but Captain Charisma has made a business arrangement with the Mogul Embassy. Will they bury the Relentless Icons now and forever? Or will Darby & Sting not just avenge AR Fox for what Swerve did to him, but avenge Nick Wayne for what Christian just said to him?

FTR and The Young Bucks have a sit-down interview.

Renee sits between the AEW World Tag Team Champions and their challengers for All In, just days away from the biggest show in AEW history, and that’s even before considering this is FTR VS Bucks, Part 3! Now before getting to that, it’s been two weeks in a row that FTR has come to the aid of The Bucks, what’s that about? The Bucks do thank them for that and say they owe FTR, but Dax says don’t thank them, it wasn’t for The Bucks. They’re not pals or anything like that. Cash says it’s so they can find out once and for all who is the better tag team, no excuses. The Bucks say that’s fair.

Renee then says each team has one win apiece, so the rubber match has been made. In front of 80 THOUSAND in Wembley, does this feel like the biggest match of their careers? Matt Jackson says when they did the original All In, “it seemed impossible to do ten thousand people in an arena, right? And now, here we are, eight times over, it’s unbelievable. Biggest match of our career? Understatement of the century.” Nick adds that he feels the Bucks are made men. They don’t need to win this match. FTR needs to beat The Bucks to make sure their legacies are solidified. And he feels strongly about that, too.

Dax chuckles and Cash won’t even acknowledge that comment. Cash just says this is the biggest match of their careers, on one of the biggest shows in pro-wrestling history. And going in as the champions against, arguably, their top competition as the best tag team of this generation, there is a lot on this one. Dax says yes, biggest match of his career, and business is good for AEW. But this goes beyond business. This is personal for them. Renee says Nick touched on it with talk of legacies, and FTR VS Bucks, “legacy” is said in the same sentence. But then, what is this truly about? Is it about who is the best? Is it about the titles?

Dax says it is about both. When you have the titles, you can claim to be the best team in the world. But at the same time, it goes beyond that because, as Dax said to the point of annoying himself, legacy. The only team between FTR and a true legacy is The Bucks. On Monday morning, Dax doesn’t wanna wake up and have to explain to his family that he lost. Matt says yes, we get it. Every week, it’s “This is how Ah feed mah family!” Matt just wants to remind them, as it seems a lot of people have forgotten, how do you feed the family? Dax wants Matt to lave them out of this, but Matt points out that the Bucks got FTR here!

And then back to legacy, every day with that word. But if you wanna talk legacy, he doesn’t wanna do this, it’s gotten awkward. But Matt says this is the truth: “One day, when this is all said and done and we decide to hang up our sneakers and we say, ‘That’s it,’ you wanna know what people will say about The Young Bucks? They’re gonna say, ‘The Young Bucks, let’s finally give ’em their damn flowers. That’s the best damn tag team that has ever competed in pro-wrestling.’ And do you know what they’re gonna say about you (FTR)? They’re not gonna whisper, they’re gonna say it. They’re gonna say, ‘And those guys, those are the guys that the Young Bucks named on their YouTube show.'”

Dax chuckles again, and says the Bucks had to jump on their name, insult their popularity, and that’s because the Bucks were trying to get on FTR’s level! “There ain’t no way you can be on FTR’s level, but here’s the thing: 80 thousand people, we will make you guys. You tell us every week, every time you get an opportunity or an interview, you are the foundation. We’re the foundation here now, and we will crack your foundation in front of 80 thousand people.” Matt says, “See you at Wembley.” Renee says yes, All In London, FTR VS Bucks for the titles. Who will walk out of Wembley as THE best tag team today?

AEW hears from the Women’s Championship contenders.

Toni Storm says, “All In is this Sunday. Before heading over to England, we have Rampage, and there’s going to be a tag team match of Saraya and myself against Shida and Britt Baker.” Britt herself adds that Friday on Rampage, she is taking AEW on a trip back to the DMD Era. Shida says we will all see on Rampage that she is unstoppable, because at All In, she will win and take all! Who will survive the Rampage on the way to Wembley Stadium?

Ruby Soho w/ The Outcasts VS Skye Blue!

Speaking of the Outcasts, Saraya is already in London promoting the show, and Toni Storm isn’t sticking around, but she trusts The Runaway has this in hand. Will Soho bring down the upstart Chicago Skye? Or will Skye simply rub it in that Ruby is the Outcasts stuck on the outside looking in on All In?

Skye poses on the ropes, and Soho DUMPS her out! Fans fire up as Soho goes to the apron, Skye blocks a kick and trips Soho! Soho lands hard on the apron, and Skye spins her around to KICK her in the face! Skye then brings Soho around to RAM her into railing! Fans fire up with Skye and she brings Soho back into the ring. The bell rings and Skye drags Soho up to full nelson. But Soho reaches back and claws at Skye’s face! Skye lets go, the ref reprimands, but Soho throws Skye down by her hair! Fans boo but Soho stalks Skye and stomps her down. Soho drags Skye up, bumps her off buckles, then stomps a mudhole in!

The ref counts, Soho lets off and soaks up the heat. Soho goes back to Skye, CHOKES her on ropes, and the ref counts. Soho lets off at 4, fans boo and Skye throws body shots! Soho eggs her on so Skye throws more shots, but Soho throws Skye down by her hair again! Soho has Skye in a corner, stands her up, and CHOPS her! Soho CHOPS again, and Skye staggers away to a corner. Fans rally for Skye, she throws forearms back but Soho SLAPS her! Skye keeps throwing shots, and she CHOPS back! And then fires off forearms! Skye backs Soho down but Soho claws her eyes again! Fans boo but Soho bumps Skye off buckles.

Soho taunts the fans as she walks corner to corner, then she runs back in at Skye! Skye dodges, Soho stops herself and elbows Skye. Soho goes up but Skye denies Nightshade to put Soho on the apron and ROUNDHOUSE! Soho staggers, Skye runs in and SHINING WIZARDS! Soho goes to the floor, Skye goes to the apron, and she runs in. Soho swings, Skye jumps the leg sweep, and then she mule kicks Soho! To then CROSSBODY to the floor! Fans fire up with Skye again as Dynamite goes picture in picture.

Skye drags Soho up and puts her in the ring. Skye sneers and climbs the corner, but Soho wants the ref to check her face. He says it seems okay but she says there has to be something wrong. But she’s just using him as a shield so Skye can’t jump at her! Then Soho runs in to YANK Skye down! Soho covers, TWO! Soho is frustrated and she SMACKS Skye off the mat. Soho glares at fans then goes back to Skye. Soho CHOKES Skye on ropes again! The ref counts, Soho lets off and stalks Skye. Soho stands on Skye’s hand, then stomps it! Skye clutches the fingers, but Soho drags her up to DECK her with a foraerm!

Skye flounders to ropes, Soho storms up on her, and she drags Skye up to swing. Skye ducks and rolls Soho up! TWO, and Soho CLOBBERS Skye! Cover, TWO! Soho is frustrated and she drags Skye into a motorcycle stretch. Fans rally, Skye endures, and Skye fights up to arm-drag free! But Soho comes back to LARIAT! Cover, TWO! Soho just grows further frustrated and she bumps Skye off buckles. Soho kicks legs out, then goes side to side. Soho howls and runs in, but Skye dodges! Soho stops herself, runs at Skye but Skye dodges again! Soho tries again but Skye spins her to KNEE SMASH!

Soho blocks Skye’s kick but not the BASEMENT ROUNDHOUSE! Skye hurries to run in, another SHINING WIZARD as Dynamite returns to single picture! Skye keeps moving this time, to BOOT Soho down! Soho flounders to a corner as the fans fire up with Skye! Skye runs in again, but Soho puts her on the apron. Skye ROCKS Soho, climbs up top, and then Skye CROSSBODIES again! Cover, TWO! Soho is tougher than that but Skye drags her up. Full nelson and spin, but Soho wrenches out to clinch! Skye fights the saido with body shots, then runs, but Soho reels her in! Soho runs, but Skye catches her for a SWINGING NECKBREAKER!

Skye crawls for the cover, TWO, into ghost pin! TWO and Skye has the cover back, TWO as Soho sunset flips! TWO and Skye sits on Soho! TWO, high stack, TWO! Soho pops Skye back into position, TWO! Both women stand, Soho blocks a kick, ducks the basement roundhouse this time, but Skye HOOK KICKS! Skye reels Soho in, SKYE FALL!! Cover, TWO!?! Soho survives and Skye can’t believe it! Fans rally up, Skye runs, hops on, but Soho pops her off! Soho blocks a kick to KNEE back! Skye SUPERKICKS! Soho runs up, into a backslide! ONE, Soho wrenches to NO FUTURE!! Skye staggers around, into DESTINATION UNKNOWN!! Cover, Soho wins!

Winner: Ruby Soho, by pinfall

The Runaway is firing on all cylinders! She knows Storm and Saraya have their shot at the AEW Women’s World Championship, and she’s calling out Kris Statlander for the TBS Championship! Will Soho get to go all out against the Galaxy’s Greatest?

Backstage interview with Roderick Strong & The Kingdom.

Renee is with Roddy, still in a neck brace, as well as Matt Taven & Mike Bennett. She brings up the relationship of MJF & Adam Cole really striking a nerve with Roddy, he just seems so angry about it. What is it about Cole & MJF that Roddy knows that we don’t? Roddy seethes, but says, “This is what I know. At the end of the night, at All In, we’re gonna find out who the real MJF is, and we’re gonna find out who the real Adam Cole is.” Well, alright. The Savior of the Backbreaker seems confident in that, but will his prediction be undisputed?

The House of Black speaks.

Malakai Black says, “The definition of the world ‘funeral’ means ‘to observe a dead person before burial.’” The Samarians believed the afterlife was a dark, dreary cavern deep below the ground, where inhabitants continued a shadowy version of their lives on Earth. “Here lies Billy Gunn, a man of nothing, and a father of immorality and lies. Rest in pain.” The House has put Billy’s boots in the trash compactor! Will they get away with this disrespect?

Wait, The Acclaimed storm out to the ring!

No music or antics, Max Caster & Anthony Bowens are all business! Fans fire up and Bowens gets a mic. “NO MORE FUN AND GAMES! NO MORE FUN TIME WITH THE ACCLAIMED! We’re still standing! House of Black, get your asses to this ring right now!!” Fans fire up and Bowens says do the thing! Make the lights go out! They wanna fight! And so the lights DO go out, and fans fire up even more! The House of Black makes their entrance, storming right down to the ring. They surround the ring now, but The Acclaimed is all fired up! The House steps in and the brawl is on 3v2! Bowens gets mugged by Malakai & Brody while Buddy has Caster!

Julia watches on with a smile as the House stomps away on Bowens & Caster, then she steps in as it appears they have this handled. Malakai KICKS Bowens down! Fans hoot and bark as Brody wraps his fist with the chain and padlock from Collision! But wait, the Acclaimed music hits now? BECAUSE DADDY ASS IS BACK!! Billy Gunn storms down to the ring, and he gets the House to back off! Fans fire up as Billy stares daggers at them. Billy then checks on his boys and helps them up. Billy then picks up the mic to say, “Hold on just one second! You wanted my attention? Well, now you’ve got it!

“So let me try to explain to you kinda what you have done. You see, a couple weeks ago, after you beat me for the second time, I sat right there (in the corner), unlaced my boots, placed them right there (in the center of the ring), and I did the two hardest things I had to do in my life. One, walk out on Max & Anthony. Two, leave behind a really good career. And I was okay with that. But then last week, you jumped Max & Anthony. You busted Max open. You hurt one of my kids.

“But that wasn’t good enough. Then you took my boots and you destroyed them! You tried to tear down a legacy that has taken me 32 years to build! I’ve done stuff in this business that will go down in wrestling history.” Fans cheer that! Billy says he is a Hall of Famer, and the House just pissed all over that. “So for that, for that, one more time! It’s all or nothing! All In, Wembley Stadium, in front of 80 THOUSAND PEOPLE…! Look at my eyes. I take everything from you! Because at All In, it’s the House of Black against the Acclaimed and, well, unfortunately, that fun-loving Daddy Ass can’t make the trip.

“But there is a guy I thought we’d never see again. And I guarantee you’re gonna wish that you’d never seen him, either. Because there’s a BADASS coming to London, and his name is Billy Gunn!!” Fans are all fired up as it is titles VS career, one final battle to end it all! Will Billy’s resurrection be a golden one?

BREAKING NEWS for Collision!

The Fyter Fest continues right to All In Eve with an All In All-Star 8 Man Tag! Jay White, Luchasaurus, Brian Cage & Swerve Strickland join forces against Darby Allin, Sting, CM Punk and a mystery man! Who from the All In card will be willing to risk it all before the big night? And Samoa Joe will be watching on commentary, will he have more than just words for the “Real” AEW World Champion?

Well, that mystery man won’t be Orange Cassidy, he’s got a Six Man Tag match alongside Penta and Eddie Kingston taking on The Superbad Squad! Will we see that Freshly Squeezed and the Mad King also have #CEROMIEDO? Or will Kip Sabian, The Butcher & The Blade make their case for big opportunities? And Jack Perry STILL plans on retiring the FTW Championship, he just doesn’t have time for it tonight! Will someone, anyone, stop Hollywood Jack Perry from burying the rogue title alongside Jungle Boy?

ROH World Tag Team Championships: Aussie Open VS The Hardy Boyz!

MJF & Adam Cole made the challenge to Kyle Fletcher & Mark Davis for All In, but the champs have been more than willing to put these belts on the line since then. Are they taking the tag legends of Matt & Jeff Hardy too lightly? Or will they be the ones to DELETE DELETE DELETE?

Dynamite returns as Aussie Open make their entrances. The introductions are made, the belts are raised, and we see who goes all in on Fyter Fest!

No Code of Honor nor teams sorting out, Aussie Open just attack The Hardys at the bell! Fans fire up and many boo as Fletcher stomps away on Matt while Davis CLUBS away on Jeff! Fletcher puts Matt in a corner and fires off hands, then throws him down as Davis goes to the opposite corner. Aussie Open aim, run in, but Matt dodges! Aussie Open stops short of hitting each other, and Matt ROCKS Davis! Jeff ROCKS Fletcher! The brawl is on again and fans fire up! The ref wants them to finally sort out, but the Hardys double whip Davis corner to corner. Matt sets up for Jeff, POETRY IN MOTION!

Fletcher kicks Matt, whips him to a corner but Matt reverses. Matt sets up again, Jeff hits Davis for good measure before he runs in, POETRY IN MOTION for Fletcher! Fans fire up and Matt clotheslines Davis up and out! Jeff clotheslines Fletcher up and out! Davis gets up, Matt DECKS him! Fletcher slides back in but both Hardys kick him low! The Hardys double whip, double ELBOW, then SENTON FIST DROP COMBO! Fans fire up with the Hardys, and then Matt & Jeff go outside after Aussie Open. Jeff CLUBS Fletcher while Matt SMACKS Davis off steel steps! Jeff CLOBBERS Fletcher against railing while Matt SMACKS Davis off the apron!

Jeff brings Fletcher around to RAM into more railing but Kyle kicks back, and Dynamite goes picture in picture. Matt POSTS Davis, and Jeff THROWS Fletcher into even more railing! Jeff then moves the steel steps around while Matt DECKS Davis. The ref reprimands, he wants this in the ring. Jeff runs to go up the steps, but Fletcher SUPERKICKS him out of the air! Davis turns things around on Matt, to APRON BACK SUPLEX! Davis storms around, he and Kyle coordinate, and they pick the Hardys up. They run in around the way, to SPINEBUSTER SANDWICH! Fans fire up as the Empire throws the crowns up.

Fletcher mocks Jeff Hardy’s famous dance moves before he and Davis regroup at the corner. Davis drags Matt up, and brings him around to take a seat in a corner of the railing. Davis then rains down fists on Matt’s head! Fletcher puts Jeff in the ring and we finally have some legal men. Fletcher stomps Jeff, drags him up, and bumps him off buckles. Fletcher taunts the fans before he ROCKS Jeff! Fletcher soaks up the heat then tags to Davis. Aussie Open stalks Jeff, drags him up, and double whip him to ropes. They DOUBLE CHOP Jeff , then set him up for the PENALTY KICK and SENTON! Kneeling cover, TWO!

Davis drags Jeff up again into a chinlock. Jeff endures and fans rally up as Matt returns to the Hardy corner. Jeff fights up, Dynamite returns to single picture, but Davis CLUBS Jeff down! Davis tags Fletcher back in, fans rally up, but Aussie Open bring Jeff away from Matt. Fletcher calls the shot, “DOUBLE CLOTHESLINE~!” to mock MJF & Cole. Aussie Open double whips, but Jeff ducks them! Fletcher runs in but into an elbow! Davis runs in but into a haymaker! Jeff goes up top to WHISPER IN THE WIND! He gets them both and fans fire up! Jeff crawls, Matt reaches out, hot tag! Matt rallies on Fletcher with LARIAT after LARIAT!

Matt whips, back drops and Fletcher lands hard! Matt brings Fletcher up to “DELETE! DELETE! DELETE!” off the buckles again and again! Davis runs in but Matt dodges to kick low! But no Twist as Davis fights it! So Matt shifts to a DDT! Fletcher runs in, into a SIDE EFFECT! Cover, TWO! Matt keeps his cool as he says he will go up! Matt hops up as promised, fires up and leaps, AX HANDLE! Fans fire up as Matt calls his shot! Fletcher is dazed, the fans join in on the “DELETE! DELETE!” Kick low but no Twist! Fletcher whips, Matt reverses but Fletcher ELBOWS back! Fletcher goes up but Matt ROCKS him!

Matt fires off haymakers, then he tags in Jeff. Fans rally, Matt and Jeff each climb! Matt has Fletcher, SUPERPLEX for the Power! Jeff SPLASHES for the Glory! Cover, Davis breaks it! Matt CLUBS away on Davis, then he and Jeff fire off in the corner. They hoist Davis up, go up after him, but Fletcher CLUBS the Hardys! Fletcher has Matt for a SUPER POWERBOMB! Davis tags in, he gets Jeff up! AUSSIE DENTAL PLAN!! It hit low, so that was more like an Aussie Heart Check-Up! Davis scoops again, Fletcher is back up, FLYING LAWN DART! Davis covers, Aussie Open wins!!

Winners: Aussie Open, by pinfall (still ROH World Tag Team Champions)

They didn’t even need their harder stuff, the Aussie Arrow & Dunkzilla took the Charismatic Enigma down all the same! Davis then gets the mics to shout “OI OI OI! Shut the hell up, Atlanta!” Fans boo, but Fletcher says, “Wembley Stadium, there will be NO Double Clothesline! There will be NO Kangaroo Kick! And Aussie Open will still be your Ring of Honor World Tag Team Champions, BAYBAY~!” Aussie Open throws up the crowns, but wait! Here comes MJF & Adam Cole! They fist bump and storm down to the ring in their matching Better Than You Baybay shirts! Aussie Open is ready, and the four stare down.

Fans fire up as Aussie Open holds up the tag titles. MJF and Cole smirk and go to leave, but Aussie Open won’t let them! So the brawl is on! They all fire fast hands and the fans are thunderous! MJF has Davis, Cole has Fletcher, but Aussie Open turns things around by digging at the eyes! Fletcher fires off hands, Davis stomps in a mudhole! Fans boo as Aussie Open storms around the ring. And Fletcher says “Double. Clothesline!” They aim at Cole but MJF jumps onto Davis for a SLEEPER! Cole BOOTS Fletcher down! Davis TOSSES MJF but Cole BOOTS him! Fans fire up as MJF & Cole regroup!

The new best buds shout “DOUBLE CLOTHESLINE!” They double whip Davis, but Davis holds ropes and bails out! Fletcher staggers up, so MJF & Cole reset! MJF wants to do it and the fans wanna see it! Cole wants to see it, too, but then Davis CLOBBERS MJF from the apron! No Kangaroo Kick, but Cole SUPERKICKS Davis! Fletcher runs in but MJF ELBOWS Fletcher down! Big save from the champ, and Cole wants to set Fletcher up! MJF holds Fletcher up, Cole takes aim, but then Fletcher ducks! MJF blocks the superkick in time!! Both of them just went through reviewing their friendship tonight, and now the two are staring down.

Fans chant to “HUG IT OUT! HUG IT OUT!” as the two are forehead to forehead. MJF takes a step back, picks up Triple B and raises it high. Cole offers a handshake, but MJF pushes past him! But then he thinks about it. MJF brings out the Dynamite Diamond Ring? And puts it on his finger?! Is he gonna do it? No, MJF changes his mind and puts it away. And then he HUGS Cole!! Fans cheer that the brochachos hold together! But is it only going to last four more days? Or will this friendship survive even the biggest main event at the biggest show in AEW history?

My Thoughts:

A great Dynamite here, though “Fyter Fest” gets hurt a bit by how this is the go-home to All In. And there was word that there’d have to be changes to All In, one understandable and the other confusing as all get out, so we got those right here in one night. The understandable one, though still a shame, is that Fenix could not be part of All In because of travel visa issues. But they had a good way of writing him off with The BCC sinking to new lows. Moxley VS Fenix put on an awesome match, Moxley wins, and then he and the others hospitalize Fenix for the week. And what an awesome way to bring Santana and Ortiz back! A shame they’re going down to 5v5 but this will still be great stuff for All In.

The change that was confusing and honestly, a little dumb, was AR Fox being kicked out of The Mogul Embassy. The tornado tag match was awesome stuff, as to be expected, but at the start, this felt like a really weird sampler for the All In tag team casket match. As such, I did NOT see Darby & Nick winning this one. I thought go-home math would dictate them losing so that Darby & Sting can win at All In. Darby forgiving Fox was still a nice detail, though I REALLY hope that doesn’t sour Nick Wayne into actually taking Christian Cage up on being a mentor. It’d make sense, but I don’t want it to happen, I want Nick to see things Darby’s way. That said, I now have a knot in my stomach of thinking that is exactly why Christian is the one taking Fox’s place in the match.

Speaking of All In samplers, that’s what The Elite VS Bullet Club Gold looked like on the surface, but at least this was a positive bait ‘n’ switch. The brawl between The Elite and BCG that then brought FTR out was good stuff, and they used it to feed into the sit-down interview together. Good stuff, and I can’t help but agree with Matt about Dax playing the “Ah feed mah wife ‘n’ baby girl with this” card too often. Though I’m torn on the “We named you on our YouTube show” jab. It’s not like they could use “The Revival” outside of WWE, and so they were turning an insult/joke into something positive. But uh, given certain things concerning Cash in real-life, I would like to think The Bucks win out at All In.

Good little promo video from Storm, Britt and Shida each saying a few things, but as I’ve said before, I feel like Saraya should be the one winning the Fatal 4 Way. It somehow works out that she didn’t say anything in that video, and will be back on-screen for Rampage to tag with Storm. Great match from Soho VS Skye, especially since it was without outside interference. Soho may want after Kris Statlander but Kris still has to sort things out with Mercedes Martinez, Diamante and maybe even Willow Nightingale. Maybe Ruby will be watching whatever match comes out of that and says she’s got next.

Awesome contract signing segment from Jericho and Ospreay with them more or less shooting from the hip. I definitely do remember about five years ago or so, everyone being worried about Ospreay’s neck because of all the just rough spots Ospreay was doing in NJPW against rivals like Kushida, Hiromu Takahashi and Marty Scurll. To think it was Jericho who called him on it and got him to stop. Ospreay VS Jericho is going to be wild stuff, no idea who wins it. Great segment from The Acclaimed and House of Black, and we’re getting as I expected in a final Trios Championship match between them. I’m sure “Badass” Billy Gunn will help them win it this time, it’d be a shame to bring him back just to lose again.

And even more awesome stuff from this story of MJF, Cole and the rest. Great interviews from Cole and MJF, and we got an awesome main event tag from Aussie Open VS Hardys. Of course Aussie Open wins, but I feel like Jeff got legit rocked by that kick from Kyle, so they just let the lawn dart finish this. Aussie Open and MJF & Cole had a very go-home interaction there, and I like that they again played on the dysfunction. I definitely feel like Cole is just one step away from turning on MJF. The fans are actually really liking MJFace, and Strong had a good promo that also alluded to things, namely his use of phrases like “the real Adam Cole.”

Cole can easily just choose Strong & The Kingdom for a sorta hybrid Undisputed Era Kingdom faction, where Taven & Bennett can still go for the ROH tag titles, with Adam Cole as the world champion and Strong getting a midcard title. Golden Prophecy, AEW style, with MJFace in the chase per old school wrestling tropes.

My Score: 8.9/10

The fans boo again, but here comes OSPREAY! Ospreay fires hands with Fletcher, and he LARIATS Fletcher up and out! Archer choke grips Ospreay! CHOKE- NO, Ospreay slips free and ENZIGIRIS! Archer staggers around, into a V-TRIGGER! Ospreay adds a HIDDEN BLADE! The fans fire up as Aerial Assassin and Best Bout Machine stand together again! Callis is furious, and then Ospreay BOOTS Fletcher off the apron! PLANCHA!

Wait, wait, wait! Now Konosuke Takeshita is here! The Alpha has returned from his trip to Japan, and he shows off both belts! Omega just shows him both fists! The fans fire up for this brawl, but Fletcher slithers in! SNAP HALF ‘N’ HALF on Omega! Takeshita hits a LARIAT on Omega! Ospreay returns to fire hands and CHOPS! But Kyle CLAWS Ospreay’s eyes! ALPHA ELBOW from Takeshita! The fans boo but now Kyle and Konosuke get Ospreay and Omega up! STEREO BRAINBUSTERS!! The fans boo as the Callis Family stands tall, though it helps that it was 4v2 in the end. But will the Family leave their former brothers in arms dead and buried in the past?

MVP speaks.

“I’m not just adept at managing the affairs of the Hurt Syndicate. I am an expert in managing how much oxygen you can breathe. For the first time in two-and-a-half years, MVP’s taking off the suit and lacing up the boots. We are the Hurt Syndicate…” Shelton Benjamin finishes the line with, “And we hurt people.” Will they do just that against Mark Briscoe & Private Party? We find out just after the break.

Chris Jericho speaks.

“Hi, guys~! Welcome to another New York Minute. I hope everybody’s enjoying Dynamite tonight right here in Cincinnati, in the heart of the Bluegrass State. But you’re gonna enjoy yourselves even more this Saturday on Collision, as we get ready for one of the biggest, most anticipated matches in Collision history. It’s gonna be The Learning Tree and Jon Moxley’s Death Riders VS Rated FTR, The Outrunners, and Powerhouse Hobbs.” Bryan Keith says, “That’s a dozen mother effers!” Jericho and Big Bill both give a concerned sideways glance, then Bill continues by saying, “As the Learning Tree always says, ‘Size matters.'”

Jericho says yes it does indeed, Redwood! And they also know all about their opponents, especially Rated FTR! The Learning Tree has already shown that Cope is a Dope, and Harwood is No Good! What’s Jericho got for Cash Wheeler? Uh… Wheeler… is a Kneeler! Get it? Like, he’s kneeling at the feet of the King of New York! Sick burn, LT. Jericho knows everyone is asking why Jericho and Moxley are tagging together, how could they possibly get along? Well, Jericho will say this. He has known Moxley a long time, and he can guarantee that they will be on the same page. Right? That’s it! Another New York Minute! Thanks, guys~!

Well, it is certainly a star-studded 6v6 set up for Saturday, but will things go Jericho’s way? Or will the #RatedFTRunners and The Book of Hobbs be the ones to punctuate Maximum Carnage?

“Everyone, show some love for… Ricochet!”

What? The fans boo as The One & Only makes his way out here, golden scissors in his lapel pocket. Those are the very same scissors Ricochet used to assault Swerve Strickland like a complete psycho! Ricochet tells the fans to hush before he steps into the ring, then he grabs a mic. The fans chant “Whose House?” “SWERVE’S HOUSE!” Ricochet is very annoyed by this, and he asks they all quiet down. The fans boo instead. Ricochet wants to speak but he’s rather flustered. The “SWERVE’S HOUSE” chants return and that riles Ricochet up a bit more. Ricochet paces, and says, “Y’know what? It’s okay. That’s how it’s gonna be? Listen. A picture is worth a thousand words.” And so on the tron is the image of Ricochet holding a bloodied Swerve up by his dreadlocks.

But then “Whose House?” “SWERVE’S HOUSE!” The man himself is here! Ricochet says okay, he’s ready. But no he’s not, cuz Nana slides in from the crowd! Nana SMACKS Ricochet on the back, then does his dance! The fans cheer as now the Most Dangerous Man walks his way out here, chain draped over his shoulders. Ricochet scrambles away before Swerve can lash him! Ricochet runs away into the crowd but Swerve is in pursuit! Swerve shoves security out of his way, but Ricochet’s escaped to the cold streets of Cincinnati! Will Swerve get his hands on his new target next time?

AEW shares “A Day in the Life of a CEO.”

That is to say, we’re following Mercedes Mone as she does her media rounds. “First, we make money.” Mone was a special guest on the Sherri Shepherd show shortly after winning even more gold at WrestleDynasty. Sherri got to admire the “Queen of Southside” Championship that comes along with the Rev-Pro Undisputed British Women’s Championship, both of which Mone won off Mina Shirakawa. Mone signed autographs, took pictures with fans, and Sherri promised that she’ll be there whenever Mone’s in town. “Then, we shop.” Mone bought herself some new jewelry with the money she surely earned becoming a FOUR BELT CEO.

“Them, we train.” Mone knows it is a New Year, and she is dripping with gold! She also knows having four belts puts an even bigger target on her back, but she stays ready! Whoever wants to jump on the Money Train next, let’s go! #MoneChangesEverything, but will she continue to stack dollars and collect titles?

The Sussex County Chicken was not a chicken when it came to facing down any of the men in the Hurt Syndicate, but that’s why he ended up getting beat up 3v1! Marq Quen & Isiah Kassidy came to Briscoe’s rescue, especially since they were told to their faces that the Hurt Syndicate wants the AEW World Tag Team Championships. Shelton leaves Briscoe behind to the mercy of the ring count, but Briscoe stirs already. Briscoe crawls, but Shelton tags Lashley, and Lashley drags Briscoe up. Lashley RAMS Briscoe into the apron, APRON URENAGES, then shoves Briscoe in. Lashley fires up, runs in, and RAMS Briscoe in the corner! Lashley then brings Briscoe around for a NECKBREAKER! BREAKING NEWS for Dynamite!

After Swerve Strickland almost got his revenge on Ricochet, these two will have THREE WEEKS to prepare themselves for a showdown! Dynamite will be in Atlanta, Georgia on February 5th, who will survive this grudge match?

Jeff Jarrett is here!

Cincinnati cheers as Double J makes his way to the ring, and he grabs a mic to say, “What’s up, Cincinnati? Y’know, the last few weeks, I mean, they sure have been humbling for me.” But then before he can say more, MJF makes his way out here! The fans are torn seeing the Wolf of Wrestling strut out here, and he has them cut his music. MJF steps into the ring with Jarrett, throws his gum into the crowd, and says, “Humbling? Jeff Jarrett, you have yet to learn the definition of the word. Last week, I gave you the opportunity of a lifetime, bud. And you had the audacity to turn me down?”

Jarrett tells Max to not even get started. MJF was too lazy to enter the gauntlet, so he came up with some scheme- MJF shouts for Jarrett to NEVER interrupt him!! The fans boo but MJF cools off. He just wants “Jeffery” to get real. This is MJF. If MJF retired tomorrow, he’d go into the AEW Hall of Fame! He’s a living legend! Jarrett walks around like he is one, too, and he sure has the “dumb shmucks” convinced. But allow MJF to “school all the simple-minded folk on the real legacy of The Last Outlaw. Emphasis on ‘Last,’ because Jeff Jarrett is the last thing you see before your favorite wrestling company dies.”

The fans boo but Jarrett laughs that off. MJF tells Double J that this last year with the possibility of him winning  MJF’s Triple B would be “a whole lot cuter and warmer and fuzzier” if Jarrett wasn’t “literally the definition of a pro-wrestling grim reaper.” The fans boo, MJF says he is talking, so what’re they doing? Shut up! MJF continues by saying that when he thinks on Jarrett’s career, it is enough to make him wanna drink. Oh… Sorry, MJF took it way too far. He knows Jarrett is a raging alcoholic. Recovering! Sorry, MJF meant recovering. But hey, MJF just had a great idea! “Listen to me, you fat skank, I’m talking, shut your fat mouth!”

The fans boo but MJF goes on to say he has a great idea. How about for the health of AEW and for Jarrett, MJF sends Jarrett packing back to rehab where he belongs. But hey, do MJF a favor before then. Make sure that sexy wife of his, Karen, sticks around. MJF happens to be a big fan of hers. But hey, he’s not a monster, he’s the Salt of the Earth. So when MJF’s “through with her,” he’ll ship her back to Tennessee for Jarrett. That way, Jarrett can be the first man in history to know what a generational talent and an Olympic gold medalist’s nuts taste like!! The fans boo but Jarrett still laughs MJF off.

“Max, Max, Max… Not only everything you just said was crude and stupid, but it’s all been said before a thousand times. It’s all been done before a thousand times. But let’s get to the heart of the matter, Max. Let’s get to business.” Jarrett knows the best years of his career are behind him. But last Summer, when Jarrett entered the Owen Hart Cup, the AEW fans awakened a passion in him. The fans cheer that! The fans awakened a desire Jarrett didn’t even know he still had. And Jarrett will do everything in his power to keep that fire going, to keep that passion going, because it’s the one thing that puts him on track to the AEW World Championship.

The fans cheer again, and Jarrett tells Max, back to that shtick. MJF thinks he can just poke fun at Jarrett, have his zingers, and hurt Jarrett’s feelings, right? Oh, Max, Jarrett was MJF before MJF was MJF! Everything MJF can say or do, Jarrett has done. He did it before MJF, and he did it better than you. But hey, hold on! Before we get all bent out of shape, MJF kinda confused Jarrett. Jarrett isn’t sure if MJF’s a dumbass or a scumbag. But knowing where MJF comes from, maybe it’s all the above. Because hear Jarrett out, there are days where Jarrett feels sorry for MJF. The fans chant, “He’s Our Scumbag!” and Jarrett agrees.

But see, Jarrett has some family history on this scumbag. MJF had a tough upbringing. It must’ve been tough being raised by a call girl for a mother. And MJF’s ambulance chancing attorney of an old man, well, it must be tough being raised by that. Jarrett knows for a fact that when Mr. Friedman knocked Mrs. Friedman up, she still made him pay for that. MJF is seething but Jarrett tells him to hold on. The old saying goes, “We all marry our mommies.” So that’s very fitting for MJF when his old lady is nothing but a Canadian call girl.

And oh, one final thing. This very ring, the night MJF was tearing the house down with Will Ospreay, that was just his version of 60 Minutes Through. At the same time, in the back parking lot, his old lady was doing her version of 60 Minutes Through, with about ten other wrestlers! Max, look at Jarrett! MJF needs Jarrett, and he doesn’t even know why. But it’s because MJF is drowning in his own s*it! MJF may be lazy, entitled, and a pr*ck, but deep down, he’s a scared little boy. MJF was scared to enter the enter the gauntlet, scared that at just 28 years of age, his best years are behind him, and he’s scared of ever getting back on top.

And like Jarrett said last week, MJF is scared of becoming a one hit wonder! The fans chant “One Hit Wonder!” at MJF, but MJF says no no no! One Hit Wonder? Scared? MJF is NOTHING like Jarrett! MJF didn’t need his daddy to make him a top guy, MJF didn’t need to start his own company to be a top guy, because MJF made MJF! We saw in the past what happens when Jarrett is “King of the Mountain,” but let’s talk about when MJF is king. MJF is the only man to thank for the biggest pro-wrestling show of all time: 82 THOUSAND, Wembley Stadium, AEW All In! MJF is the one to thank for the record PPV buys, record TV ratings, and record ticket sales!

MJF was the BEST IN THE WORLD! The fans do cheer that. MJF says Jarrett can laugh all he wants, because then MJF got screwed. Screwed out of his world championship! His name, his legacy, his reputation, dragged through the mud to this day! The same people who put MJF on a pedestal now have willingly, with a smile on their face, taken it out from under and treated him like nothing! MJF ain’t nothing! And MJF will tell Jeff something! MJF doesn’t want to win the world title, he NEEDS to win it so he can shove it down every single one of their throats! But instead, MJF has to wait in line for Jeff Jarrett?

MJF laughs and say should on here. With all due respect, the people aren’t very bright. And with all due respect, no wrestling fan has ever given a single, solitary s*it about Jarrett. But y’know what really pisses MJF off, Slapnuts? The fact that “just because” Jarrett was best friends with Owen Hart, Jarrett thinks he his owed a grand finale? Jarrett may have had all these stupid, simple-minded shmucks convinced, but MJF sees through Jarrett’s BS. During the Owen Cup, Jeff saw through the “carny succubus.” Jarrett is nothing more than a LEECH, riding the coattails of his DEAD FRIEND!

Oh, did MJF strike a chord now? He thought Jarrett was all tough. Or does he just not like it when MJF talks about his old pal, Owen Hart? JARRETT DECKS MJF! Jarrett rains down fists and the fans fire up! Security rushes out there and they drag Jarrett away, but Jarrett throws them all away! Jarrett CLOBBERS MJF, but Karen rushes out here! Karen gets Jeff to stop, but then MJF grabs Karen in a SLEEPER! The fans boo, MJF throws Karen at Jeff, then runs away. The Wolf of Wrestling is again a worm, will The Last Outlaw make sure to exterminate him once and for all?

He TOSSES Nick, then he storms up! Kip is the only one who doesn’t know! Kip turns around into CHOPS and JABS! The fans fire up, but Nick returns! Nick runs in, Joe casually steps aside, and the SPLASH hits Kip! Then Joe TOSSES Nick out to his mommy!

SNAP POWERSLAM for Kip! The fans fire up as Joe and Shibata have Kip set up for a PENALTY KICK! Joe, Shibata and Hook have reunited, will they tear The Patriarchy apart?

AEW hears from the Men’s Casino Gauntlet participants.

Roderick Strong tells “JAAAAY… White,” that Roddy should’ve won that #1 spot in the Casino Gauntlet, but he wants White to know that Roddy’s not done with him yet. The Switchblade’s response is that Roddy Strong shoulda-coulda-woulda. If Roddy wanted to win so badly, he should’ve tried harder. As for Wheeler Yuta, he was the one to stop White. So if Yuta wants White’s attention, then fine! He’s got it! As for Adam Cole, he said that match had the best of the best. It had Hangman Page, it had Daniel Garcia, and- Kyle O’Reilly stops Cole there. Danny Garcia? Really? Kyle doesn’t see it. Not everyone is as good as they say they are, Adam.

Garcia himself says people keep saying that Garcia is stretching himself just a little bit thin. If he’s TNT Champion, why’s he in the Continental Classic? Why’s he in a Casino Gauntlet? Garcia wants to fight every single week! So if you want a shot at Garcia’s gold… Cole says The Undisputed Kingdom IS as good as they say they are, and in 2025, they promise us… #LetsGetIt! The Kingdom will get their hands on gold, and that is undisputed! Everyone’s gunning for someone, but who gets what they want? And who gets just what they deserve?

Backstage interview with Jeff Jarrett.

AEW returns as Renee Paquette is with Double J, and she brings up that confrontation between him and MJF. Jarrett said the AEW audience has awoken the passion in him, and that MJF is scared. But then MJF got under Jarrett’s skin, so where do they go from here? Jarrett takes a moment to think, but then Dustin Rhodes steps in! The Natural says what MJF said pissed him off, too. Dustin asks Jarrett, “How many years have we known each other? How many years have we driven up and down these roads, grinding our asses off because of the passion and love for this business? A lot. He doesn’t know a thing about that, and you know that.”

Dustin says MJF’s been in this business a minute, yet he’ll dictate to Jarrett and disrespect him? THAT pisses Dustin off! Dustin is 110% behind Jarrett, and wants Jarrett to fulfill the dream of becoming AEW World Champion. Max doesn’t know everything that guys like Jarrett and Dustin have been through. Knocked down, dragged through s*it, and then gotten back up, because that’s what they do! MJF has no clue! Whatever MJF does to Jarrett, Dustin knows Jarrett’s been through it. Just like Dustin has. But remember this: You’re Jeff Jarrett! A 12-TIME WORLD CHAMPION, and that means something!

Jarrett is the Last Outlaw, and outlaws never die. So please, just remember this. The two of them, they are the very last of their kind. Will this motivation from the dual ROH World Tag Team & ROH World Six Man Tag Champion be fuel on the fire that Jarrett uses to reach the mountaintop?

Mariah May is here!

The Glamour brings her AEW Women’s World Championship to commentary as she prepares to watch the women’s division fight for their shot at her.

AEW Women’s World Championship #1 Contender’s Casino Gauntlet!

The gentlemen had their fun, now the ladies finally get to roll the dice! The first-ever Women’s Casino Gauntlet will send one woman to Grand Slam: Australia, who faces “The Woman From Hell” when AEW goes Down Under?

Kris Statlander is first, a right she earned when she defeated Willow Nightingale and Toni Storm in last week’s Triple Threat. But who starts with her? It’s JAMIE HAYTER! Hayter Hits Hard, but will she punch her ticket to Australia? The bell rings, we’re on the clock, and Mariah thanks commentary for having her. She also asks Taz that now that he’s got a new knee, wanna roll around later? Taz says he is happily married but he’s flattered by the offer. Oh, she meant in the ring. Well, Taz is also retired, so he can’t. Meanwhile, Hayter and Kris tie up, go around, go along the ropes, and the fans duel.

Mariah says Hayter is the best woman to come out of Britain not named Mariah May. The ref counts a ropebreak but Hayter and Kris move off ropes. Hayter headlocks, Kris powers up but can’t pull out as Hayter holds on. Kris tries again, gets free, and they RAM shoulders! The fans cheer as neither woman budges. Hayter runs, RAMS Kris again, then kicks low! Hayter runs, Kris dodges and she runs Hayter over! The fans fire up while Kris flexes, but Hayter stands up. Hayter runs up, Kris avoids a boot but Hayter ducks a roundhouse. Hayter ripcords, Kris ducks the lariat and comes back, but now Hayter dodges!

Both women run in, and DOUBLE LARIATS collide! Neither woman falls, but then Hayter BOOTS Kris! The fans fire up and Mariah says she might actually prefer fighting someone tonight so she won’t have to fly down to Australia. Hayter CLUBS away on Kris, kicks her down, then brings her up for a suplex. Kris slips free, shoves Hayter, but Hayter rebounds. Hayter ducks a lariat, the countdown is here, but Kris kicks low! FISHERMAN BUSTER! But number three is here, and it’s… MEGAN BAYNE!? Even Mariah is shocked to see “The Megasus” return to AEW after quite the stint in Stardom, GCW, and has even won the HOG Women’s Championship!

Mariah laughs in disbelief, is Bayne even eligible for this match? Where’s her “is All Elite” graphic? Go ask Tony Khan where that tweet is! Bayne still steps into the ring, and she stands face to face with Kris! The fans fire up as the forearms fly! Bayne ROCKS Kris, RAMS her into the corner again and again, then CHOPS! Bayne whips corner to corner, runs up, and SPLASHES! Then she whips again, but Kris reverses! Kris UPPERCUTS Bayne, runs corner to corner, but Bayne LEAPING LARIATS! The fans fire up and Bayne hauls Kris to her feet. Bayne suplexes, Kris fights that to suplex, but Bayne fights back!

Bayne suplexes to FALCON ARROW! Cover, Hayter breaks it! The fans fire up as now Hayter stares Bayne down. Hayter fires forearms, but Bayne is not impressed! Hayter runs, but Bayne kicks her low! Bayne reels Hayter in, suplexes, and she holds Hayter up! The countdown is back, but Hayter counters with a DDT! The fourth woman is here, and it’s… JULIA HART! The Princess of the Black Throne got a win off Hayter not that long ago, and she dares Hayter to come back for more! They brawl at the ramp! The fans fire up as Hayter CLUBS away on Julia, then snap suplexes her on the ramp! Julia writhes, Kris and Bayne brawl ringside, and Dynamite goes picture in picture.

Mariah is only a little worried, but Hayter CLUBS away on Julia in the ring. Bayne sends Kris into barriers! Hayter and Julia fire fists, then Hayter ROCKS Julia! Hayter whips, Julia reverses and wrenches to STO! Cover, Kris breaks it! Kris drags Julia up but Julia JAWBREAKERS free! Julia fires forearms, then whips, but Kris reverses. Kris runs in at the corner, but Julia STOMPS her down! Julia storms around, goes to the far corner, then runs back in. But Kris hits a SNAP POWERSLAM! Kris drags Julia up, TOSSES her out, and Bayne is there to scoop Julia! SLAM to the floor! Julia writhes but Bayne storms into the ring.

Kris and Bayne meet again, and Bayne pie faces Kris! Kris pie faces back! The pie faces go back and forth, then turn into forearms! Kris and Bayne fire fast ‘n’ furious shots, then Bayne ROKCS Kris! Bayne runs, but Kris ROCKS her! Kris runs, but Bayne follows to ROCK her back! Bayne runs, but Kris UPEPRCUTS her! And CHOPS! And ROCKS! And CHOPS! Repeat! Kris keeps on Bayne again and again, then runs, only for Bayne to fireman’s carry! Kris fights free, ROUNDHOUSES Bayne, then PELES! Kris roars, runs, but gets caught! EXPLODER! Bayne fires up, and Julia POSTS Hayter! Julia stomps away on Hayter, Bayne brings Kris up, and snap suplexes her!

Maximum Carnage returns to single picture as Kris flops out of the ring. Julia CLUBS Hayter, and the countdown is back! Bayne waits on the fifth woman, and it’s… WILLOW NIGHTINGALE! Mariah sighs, but the Babe with the Power steps right to Bayne! Willow BOOTS, but Bayne just frowns. Willow fires forearms, then whips, but Bayne reverses to ROCK Willow! And BOOT her down! Kris returns to waistlock Bayne, but she ducks an elbow! JAWBREAKER, HAYMAKER, then Kris CLUBS away on Bayne! Hayter turns things around on Julia and whips her hard into barriers! Willow & Kris work together to DOUBLE SUPLEX Bayne!

The fans fire up, and Kris & Willow smile as it’s like the old days. Mariah mocks the “friendship” while the two square up. Willow CHOPS Kris, Kris CHOPS back, repeat! The fans “WOO~” as each CHOP echoes out! Willow ducks a chop, shoves Kris, then runs to POUNCE~! PERIOD! The countdown is back already, and the sixth woman is… TONI STORM! The Rockstar “Rookie” is back, and Mariah really hates seeing this. Toni storms in in but willow fireman’s carries! Toni sunset flips, TWO! Willow storms up but into a snapmare! Toni RUNS Willow over, snapmares Julia and runs her over!

Hayter is back, Toni snapmares her to run her over! Then a snapmare and shoulder tackle for Kris! The fans fire up with Toni and Mariah mockingly plays along, “What a great rookie!” But Bayne CLOBBERS Toni! Bayne fireman’s carries Toni, then THROWS her out onto Kris! The fans rally, “She’s a Rookie!” Willow CLOBBERS Bayne! Hayter BOOTS Willow! Julia kicks Hayter to DDT! Willow LARIATS Julia! The fans fire up as Willow stands tall, and she goes to the apron. CROSSBODY onto Bayne! Willow smiles and poses, the fans cheer, and Willow drags Bayne up. Bayne and Willow throw hands, but Kris is on the stage?

The fans fire up as Kris SUPER CANNONBALLS! Down goes Willow & Bayne, and the fans fire up with Kris! But Toni HIP ATTACKS Kris off the apron! Julia BLASTS Toni! Julia and Hayter are all alone, Cincy fires up for “Women’s Wrestling!” but also the countdown! Julia and Hayter fire fast ‘n’ furious fists, but the seventh woman is… HARLEY CAMERON! Mariah sighs again as everyone now will FEEL THE WRATH! Harley runs up to ROCK Julia, then bump her off buckles! Harley goes up, in, and dodges Julia to ENZIGIRI! Cover, Hayter breaks it with a deadlift GERMAN SUPLEX! Hayter snarls but Julia runs up to clinch!

Hayter wrenches free, clinches, and HAYT-BREAKER! But Harley rolls Hayter up! TWO!! Hayter escapes, Harley ENZIGIRIS! “FEEL THA WRATH~!” Harley runs, but into a HAYT-BREAKER! Hayter pumps up, for the HAYTER- NO, Harley ducks the lariat! But Julia’s BLACK MIST hits Harley full in the face! Then SUPERKICK for Hayter! Julia runs to BLINDSIDE LARIAT! But Toni snatches Julia into a cradle! TONI WINS!!

Winner: Toni Storm, by pinfall (NEW #1 Contender to the AEW Women’s World Championship)

Mariah is mockingly happy for “the rookie,” and Toni herself is stunned that she’s getting a world title match in her home country! This is quite the remake of a timeless classic, but will they flip the script on the original? Or will it still be All About Mariah?

AEW World Championship: Jon Moxley w/ The Death Riders VS “Powerhouse” Will Hobbs!

The last time The Maniac was in the Book of Hobbs, it was AEW Homecoming, and it was for the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship. Moxley didn’t so much win as he did retain, given Hobbs went down with injury rather quickly. But while Moxley traded NJPW’s top title for AEW’s, Hobbs only has a bigger chip on his shoulder. Will Hobbs come through on his promise to make Jon Moxley his b*tch? Or will Moxley make sure his homecoming is a victorious one?

The introductions are made, but Moxley delays getting in the ring so that the rest of the Death Riders can flank the ring! Hobbs sees Pac, he sees Claudio, but then Moxley runs in and CLOBBERS Hobbs! The bell rings, the fans boo, but Moxley fires forearms in a corner! Moxley doesn’t stop as the ref counts, the ref tries to back him off, but Moxley gets in the ref’s face about it. Hobbs storms up to hoist Moxley up! OVERHEAD SUPLEX! Hobbs fires hands on Moxley now, the fans fire up, but the ref counts. Hobbs ROCKS Moxley, then stalks him to a corner. Hobbs CLUBS Moxley in the chest, then stalks him to another corner.

Hobbs pushes Moxley against buckles, CLUBS him again, then paces. The fans rally, Hobbs whips, but Moxley KCIKS and CHOPS! And CHOPS! And CHOPS! Hobbs just scowls, so Moxley fires forearms! Moxley runs, but Hobbs RUNS Moxley over! The fans fire up, but there are some Moxley fans still in Cincy. Hobbs goes out after Moxley and ROCKS him! Moxley dangles over barriers, but Hobbs CLUBS him! The ref wants this in the ring so Hobbs pushes him in. Hobbs storms in, Moxley fires kicks, then fires forearms! Moxley runs, BOOTS Hobbs, and he has Hobbs in the ropes!

Moxley runs, BOOTS Hobbs again, then he runs! Moxley DIVES and hits Hobbs into barriers! Moxley pursues, they go around the timekeeper’s area, and now they brawl in the crowd! The fans fire up, Hobbs CHOPS Moxley, but the ref wants this in the ring! Hobbs pursues Moxley, CLUBS him, then keeps after him. They go back to ringside, Hobbs CLAWS Moxley’s back, then shoves him over barriers! Hobbs stalks Moxley back into the ring, Moxley wants Hobbs to hold on, and then Moxley CLAWS Hobbs’ face! Then he BITES Hobbs’ face! Moxley has Hobbs in a corner and rains down fists! The fans count to TEN, then Moxley flips Hobbs off!

Cincy is all fired up, both for and against Moxley, but Hobbs just glares up at him. Moxley talks trash, but Hobbs carries Moxley from the corner! Moxley fires elbows, but Hobbs RAMS him into buckles! Hobbs puts Moxley up top, climbs up after him, and he pulls on that earring in Moxley’s left ear! Hobbs tells the ref to back off, and then he BITES Moxley’s ear! And then BITES it again! Is he trying to eat the earring?! The ref counts, Hobbs lets off and lets Moxley tumble while fans tell him he’s sick. Moxley staggers up, but Hobbs BLASTS him off the apron! The fans rally while Dynamite goes picture in picture.

Hobbs snarls, just a bit of blood in his teeth from biting Moxley. Hobbs paces while Marina Shafir checks on Moxley. Hobbs then goes out the side, storms around the way, and he looms over Moxley. Hobbs whips Moxley into barriers! Moxley tumbles over and into the timekeeper’s area! Hobbs is after Moxley with a rain of fists! The ref reprimands, Hobbs stops and goes back to the ring. Hobbs then goes back out to fetch Moxley. Hobbs BITES the ear again! Moxley pushes Hobbs away and staggers around, that ear definitely bleeding. Hobbs storms up to BITE the ear more! Hobbs is going savage, but Moxley dares him to do more!

Moxley fires a forearm, but Hobbs juts ROCKS Moxley! Moxley staggers away, Hobbs pursues him to the steel steps, and they both go back to the ring. Moxley staggers around a little more, and Hobbs pumps up! Hobbs ROCKS Moxley again! Moxley bounces off ropes then falls over! Hobbs stalks Moxley, drags him up, and he ROCKS Moxley again! Moxley wobbles but stays up, even with that ear bleeding. Moxley fires a forearm, but Hobbs shrugs that off. Moxley fires another forearm, and another, and another! Hobbs ROCKS Moxley again! Moxley falls over, the ref checks him, but Moxley is already rising back up.

Moxley pounds the mat, and he eggs Hobbs on. Hobbs BOOTS Moxley down! Moxley rises, the blood from his ear making more a crimson scarf than a mask. Hobbs BOOTS Moxley again! Moxley roars, so Hobbs BOOTS him again! Maximum Carnage returns to single picture as Moxley rises up. Hobbs BOOTS him, but Moxley SLAPS Hobbs! Hobbs runs, but into a CUTTER! Moxley lured Hobbs into a trap, but both men are down! The fans fire up as Moxley crawls, and Moxley dares Hobbs to bring the fight. Both men stand, Moxley fires a forearm, but Hobbs returns fire! The fans are torn as the forearms go back and forth!

Hobbs runs, Moxley TOSSES him out! Moxley distracts the ref so that Marina can BOOT Hobbs! The fans definitely boo that, but Moxley goes out to drag Hobbs up. Moxley puts Hobbs in, takes aim, and then underhooks Hobbs! Hobbs powers up, breaks free, then CLOBBERS Moxley! Moxley flounders to a corner, the fans rally and duel, and Hobbs feeds off the “MEAT! MEAT! MEAT!” Hobbs runs up to CLOBBER Moxley! Moxley rises, Hobbs LARIATS again! Mox is back up, Hobbs SPLASHES in the corner! Hobbs winds up to fire point-blank LARIATS in the corner again and again! The fans rally, Hobbs stops at the ref’s count.

Hobbs scoops, Moxley slips free! Underhook and- NO, Hobbs scoops Moxley! WORLD’S STRONGEST SLAM!! Cover, TWO!! Moxley survives, Marina is relieved, but Hobbs puts Moxley on the top rope. Hobbs climbs, scoops, and lifts Moxley for a SUPER SWINGING POWERSLAM! But Moxley rolls through to have the ARMBAR!! Moxley pulls on the arm, Hobbs endures, and the fans duel even harder! Moxley pulls but Hobbs manages to clasp hands! Hobbs turns and has the ROPEBREAK! Moxley lets go, but then he has Hobbs for a KIMURA int he ropes! The ref counts, Moxley stops and Hobbs crawls to the ramp.

The fans hope these two “FIGHT FOREVER!” but this show has to end somehow. Hobbs rises, and WHEELER YUTA BUSAIKU KNEES!! The Decoder finally shows himself and it was at the most opportune time! The fans boo as Yuta then slithers away, and Moxley goes out after Hobbs. Moxley drags Hobbs into the ring, then vows to end this! But Hobbs hits a SPINEBUSTER!! The fans fire up and Hobbs brings down the straps! Hobbs snarls, brings Moxley up into a torture rack, but Moxley slips free! SLEEPER! Hobbs goes to the ropes, BUCKS Moxley, but then Marina SMACKS Hobbs with the title briefcase!!

The fans boo again but Moxley rolls Hobbs up! TWO?!?! Hobbs survives another cheap shot and the fans fire up! Moxley underhooks, PARADIGM SHIFT!! Cover, TWO!??! Moxley is furious but he clamps on the BULLY CHOKE!! Hobbs endures, but he fades out! Moxley wins!!

Winner: Jon Moxley, by submission (still AEW World Champion)

Hobbs lost only because this turned into a 5v1 handicap match! And speaking of, that’s what’s happening again as The Death Riders mug Hobbs! They stomp away, then sit Hobbs up. Claudio has a chair! But Hobbs THROWS Yuta, CHOKES Pac, but Claudio CHOP BLOCKS the bad leg! Claudio pulls the leg brace off while Pac & Mox CHOKE Hobbs! Yuta adds stomps, and Moxley SMASHES the bad leg! Claudio puts the chair around the bad leg, they want to put Hobbs back on the shelf! Claudio STOMPS the chair!! But here comes Rated FTR!! A little too late, unfortunately, and The Death Riders retreat.

Adam Copeland, Cash Wheeler & Dax Harwood check on Hobbs, but there’s a chance the 12 Man Tag just turned into a 6v5 Handicap Match. Will anyone ever be able to stop Moxley’s reign of terror? Or will the carnage not end with Collision?

My Thoughts:

A great episode for AEW, though I’m not sure on their own claim of “It’s like a PPV on TV!” I only say that because we got the usual TV level shenanigans in a few of these matches. Omega VS Cage was a great match for Omega’s return to AEW, but Omega VS Gabe at WrestleDynasty is a hard act to follow. Great win for Omega, but of course The Don Callis Family beats him up. A little surprised they also got the better of Ospreay, but when it was 4v2, that made sense. I’m sure we’ll get Omega & Ospreay against like, Archer & Cage, that’s a win, and then Omega & Ospreay face Kyle & Konosuke. Maybe that’s another win, maybe not, but it feels like they want Omega VS Konosuke for something big, especially while Konosuke is a double champion.

Very good promo from MVP before the Six Man Tag, but did we need a New York Minute with Jericho? Well, I guess it had to happen some time so Jericho could get his digs in on Rated FTR, but maybe it could’ve been after the Six Man Tag? We got that promo and the Mercedes Mone vignette between MVP’s promo and the Six Man Tag and it seemed like an odd choice. Mone’s promo was still good stuff, and an idea of Mone VS Athena is floating around the fandom. I feel like they’d save that closer to All In: Texas, as Athena is from Texas. That’s months from now but I could still see both Mone and Athena having the belts they have now going into that match.

Great Six Man Tag but I figured the Hurt Syndicate would win. And while we got a good promo from all the different Casino Gauntlet entries, I really hope TK isn’t pivoting away from Garcia VS Shelton for the TNT Championship. Granted, Kyle O’Reilly VS Daniel Garcia would make an awesome one-off. Jay White VS Roddy Strong will also be a really good 1v1 match, but I would think White sticks to going after Yuta and the Death Riders. Very good promo from Ricochet, in that he barely got to say anything because of the Heel heat he’s got. Swerve & Nana getting the drop on Ricochet was good stuff, too, but I have no idea why we’re waiting THREE WEEKS for their match when it won’t even be on Grand Slam: Australia or anything.

Okada VS Ishii for Collision is great stuff, but I don’t understand when that promo they showed happened. Did I somehow miss it last Saturday on Collision? Or was that supposed to be part of tonight’s show that they had to trim for time? And I think I can see why they’d have to trim it: MJF and Jeff Jarrett took too damn long to get to the point. Both guys made good points, but they either played to the crowd too much, or Jarrett was searching for the words to insult MJF back. Dustin having a part was good, too, but I don’t see him factoring into the rest of the story.

Great match from Christian VS Hook, and I suppose the disqualification finish protects both sides. Was Joe out that long for injury? It’s the only thing that would explain why Joe never returned to finish things with Jericho while it was still relevant. Now, Joe, Hook & Shibata are feuding with Patriarchy instead Great stuff with the Women’s Casino Gauntlet, such as Megan Bayne making a great return to AEW. Though I’m sure they could’ve added a couple more entrants to beef this up a bit more. Again, maybe time constraints because of MJF and Jarrett. But in the end, what a clever way to get us back to Mariah VS Toni. There’s literally a month left to build this, I can’t wait to see the promos from “new girl” Toni with “veteran” Mariah.

And of course, a great match from Moxley VS Hobbs, especially with Hobbs going for ear blood. But of course The Death Riders got involved all over the place to screw Hobbs out of that win. At least Hobbs still got to look strong surviving as many cheap tactics as he did. But I really hate the trope of a Face rescue that’s “a little too late.” If Rated FTR was here, and they were seeing this happen, why not get out there before Hobbs’ knee gets chair guillotined? I understand them wanting to put the cliche “pressure” on the Faces for Collision, as Hobbs is the strongest part of that team and now he’s far less than 100%, but c’mon. Also, pretty sure The Death Riders will abandon The Learning Tree to have them lose to Rated FTRunners, as they’re above such a mess of a match.

My Score: 8.7/10
