Hangman Page is here!

The Cowboy is in Huntsville, Alabama, and using a crutch? It was concerning at the end of last week’s Dynamite that Hangman was clutching his ankle near the end of the Six Man Tag match. Hangman hops up the steel steps to step into the ring, and he gets the mic. “This probably doesn’t look like a promising start to the speech, huh, guys? I feel like I might say it too much but it’s important to me, so I will say it. When AEW started, it was a new endeavor for my friends, but for me, it was something different. It was a goal. It was an opportunity to rise to people’s expectations, to make the most of the world laid in front of me.

“And I’d like to think that I did that, and I’d like to think that winning the world championship in 2021…” The fans start to cheer, and Hangman says he likes to think that doing that was the biggest accomplishment of his career. That’s why it hurts so much to have that opportunity in front of him again, and have this happen. Fans don’t want it to be true but Hangman says, “When AEW decided that at Revolution, the world championship would be decided in a Three Way match, I said it was BS. And I meant it. And I suggested that maybe the championship should be decided in a singles match, but it looks like I had the wrong two competitors.”

Fans boo, hoping this isn’t true, but Hangman says he won’t apologize to Swerve or Joe. But he will tell us the truth, because he’s always honest with us, that this Sunday at Revolution, Hangman will not be able to compete. The fans are upset, but then “Whose house?” “SWERVE’S HOUSE!” Prince Nana leads the way and does his dance as Swerve Strickland makes his entrance. The Realest goes down the ramp, to the ring, and already has a mic of his own. Fans cheer and chant, then Swerve says, “These last six months, man, we’ve been to war. I tried to kill you, you tried to kill me, I might’ve crossed the line a couple times…

“But I didn’t really expect this to happen. I targeted you because of everything you accomplished here in AEW. And to say that I didn’t have the utmost respect of that would just be a flat out lie. But you suffered this unfortunate fate, and the funny thing about fate, you can’t escape it. And you can’t stop destiny. And my destiny awaits me this Sunday at Revolution as I go on to become the AEW World Champion.” But then here comes said champion, Samoa Joe! The fans chant for “JOE! JOE! JOE!” as he stands on stage in a suit, mic in hand and belt on his shoulder. “Destiny? You boys are out here talking about destiny?

“Now what do we have here? It seems two of the most bitter enemies ever out here are trying to hug it out, huh?” Joe says a lot of lies are being told so he will correct them with a few truths. First, week after week, these two have stared daggers at each other, thinking that the destiny of this championship was tearing the other man’s throat out. That was only because they both avoided making eye contact with Joe and realized who the real man around here is. Second, though Joe doesn’t quite understand this dynamic, whether or not Hangman is in the match. Or should we call him “Hop Along?”

Joe keeps hearing about how Hangman and Swerve are young, hungry contenders. But that’s ridiculous! They’re both battle tested, battle hardened warriors in that ring, and there’s nothing new about them. They’re hungry but accomplished. The fans cheer that. But what they both need to realize is that the only reason they’re hungry is because Joe is starving their asses! As long as Joe has the title, there won’t be no more meals come dinner time! So he will explain to them who Joe is, and who they should really be worried about! He is Samoa Joe, the AEW World Champion, and whether it is one or both of them, Joe will whoop both their asses.

Swerve tells Joe to hold on so he can explain just who the hell Swerve is! “I’m someone that went from unemployed to headlining PPVs! I’m someone that went from being a Cruiserweight to going after the world championship! But make no mistake about it, I am that same man that broke into a wrestling school and left an 18 year old laying in a bloody heap! I am that same man that trespassed in another man’s home and threatened his infant son! I’ll do whatever it takes to become world champion! I’m not only a career maker, I am a career changer! And after I take that championship from you, Joe, you’re not gonna what to do with yourself.

“Hell, you might wanna go back to commentary wearing a poncho again. Who knows.” Joe seethes as Swerve says he is on the verge of making history! And this Sunday at Revolution, Swerve WILL become AEW World Champion! Whose House? “SWERVE’S HOUSE!” Whose House?! “SWERVE’S HOUSE!” WHOSE HOUSE?! HANGMAN ATTACKS WITH THE CRUTCH!! He was faking all along!? Hangman shouts for Swerve to get up and Joe grins! Hangman CLOBBERS Swerve with the crutch now! Hangman says Swerve will NEVER have that championship! Hangman tells Joe the same, that Swerve won’t take the title, HANGMAN will!

Fans are torn but Joe understands now that it is still a Triple Threat. But did Hangman just switch it up and use that crutch to take Swerve out of the running? Or will Hangman regret swerving a man as dangerous as Swerve?

The Young Bucks arrive backstage.

Matthew Jackson is in a black suit, Nicholas is in pink. They’re ready to “clock in” for Dynamite, and they step inside the building. Renee Paquette is right there and she welcomes them to Huntsville. Tonight is Sting’s final Dynamite ahead of their match for the AEW World Tag Team Championships at Revolution. Last time she saw them, it seemed they were having an interesting business meeting with Ric Flair. Can they give any details about that? Well, it went great, and that is all Nick will say. Matt brings up Sting and asks if Renee has seen him yet. Not yet, just them.

Oh, okay, then since this is Sting’s final Dynamite appearance, The Bucks are just dying to see him and thank him for all his contributions to this company. And mostly, they want to… “conduct his exit interview.” Matt & Nick bring out the white baseball bats, the same ones they used to beat down Sting, Darby and Sting’s two sons just a few weeks ago. Matt says have a great night, let’s have a killer show. Cameraman, keep with them, so everyone can see what the Bucks are gonna do for Sting. The Bucks continue deeper backstage, will they make it so Sting doesn’t even make it to his retirement match?

Six Man Tag: Eddie Kingston & FTR VS Blackpool Combat Club!

Before all of their separate showdowns on Sunday, The Mad King teams with the Top Guys to take on Bryan Danielson, Jon Moxley & Claudio Castagnoli. Things have always been personal between Eddie and the American Dragon, and things have been getting more intense between Dax & Cash against the Maniac and the Swiss Superman. Just how wild will it get here, only days away from Revolution?

The trios sort out and Bryan starts against Eddie as a preview of their Continental Crown Championship match. The two feel things out as the fans rally up, and the two test the waters. Bryan doesn’t let go until he’s done talking trash on Eddie. Bryan lets off to pose, but will he be posing with three championships after Revolution? Will Moxley & Claudio prove they are the top guys in the AEW Tag Division?

Backstage interview with Chris Jericho.

Renee Paquette is with The Ocho, or rather the Lionheart, as tonight, Jericho will face Atlantis Jr. of CMLL. There is a ton of history here between Jericho and the Atlantis lucha family, what is he expecting tonight? Jericho says 30 years ago, when he first started wrestling in Mexico, he got thrown into the deep end very quickly. Legendary booker, Paco Alonso wanted Jericho to become a big time player fast. So he put Jericho with legends like Negro Casas, Silver King, Texano, El Dandy, and Atlantis Sr. Atlantis was both a great opponent and a great partner, a mentor and a friend.

So when AEW started working with CMLL, Jericho requested this match with Atlantis Jr. so he could repay the favor. Jericho wants to teach Atlantis Jr. something about the wrestling business from this end. So tonight, Jericho will show Atlantis Jr. some things he’s never seen before, and have a lesson in violence! Tonight, Jericho shows what “Corazon de Leon” can do. And in Spanish, Jericho tells Atlantis Jr. that tonight, there won’t be any holding back. Will El Ocho prove he is numero uno?

Tony Schiavone is in the ring.

AEW returns from break and Schiavone says tonight, it is official. There are great wrestlers all around the world, and many are coming here to AEW. But none is bigger, better or more exciting. Here on Dynamite, welcome to AEW full time, Will Ospreay! The fans fire up as the Aerial Assassin, having moved on from NJPW, is truly All Elite! Ospreay goes to the ring, high-fiving fans, and he even hugs Schiavone. Schiavone says the dynamic Ospreay is All Elite, and it’s great to have him here! Ospreay says, “Oi oi, Huntsville, how’re you doing, you cheeky shanks?” The fans cheer and Ospreay says he just wanted to come out here to say thanks for the reception.

Ospreay reminds us that back in November, he asked them to give him some time to finish his obligations with NJPW. His obligations are done! So he took himself to Barbados for a little holiday, got pissed with the Misses, it was great! And then he flew over here, lost his bags, but it’s alright! They found ’em so it’s all good. He came here in his track suit, like Kermit the Frog on leg day, and most importantly, he is here in front of all the fans to say he is here for full-time work! He’s All Elite, bruv! The fans fire up for that one! Ospreay says hold on, some are forgetting that this isn’t his first rodeo. His first PPV, he beat Orange Cassidy.

And if that wasn’t good enough, he went to Canada to beat Kenny Omega in front of 13 THOUSAND of his own people. And if that still wasn’t good enough, he pinned the first-ever AEW World Champion, Chris Jericho, at Wembley Stadium, bruv! So make no mistake about it. The territory might be different, but he’s used to this. He’s been rolling with the Callis Family, everything’s going smoothly, he is ready to pick up where he left off. Speaking of, here comes Don Callis and his family, the Last Supper mural still including Will Ospreay & Kyle Fletcher while Konosuke Takeshita & Will Hobbs are here in person.

Callis shakes hands and hugs it out with Ospreay, as does Hobbs. Konosuke doesn’t, though, given the match that’s coming. Callis takes the mic from Schiavone to say, “Y’know, ladies and gentlemen, there’s nothing I like more than a Don Callis Family reunion!” Fans boo but Callis says when he thinks about the talent in this group, he thinks about Fletcher, Hobbs, Konosuke & Ospreay, an embarrassment of riches! And Callis loves Ospreay talking about all those things the two of them accomplished together. When Ospreay beat Kenny, Callis was right beside him. Ospreay asked how they were gonna top that, and then we got Ospreay VS Jericho!

And on the biggest night of Ospreay’s life, he beat Jericho! So how to top that? Well, by having a match of the year! The fans chant “You Suck!” at Callis but Callis says you top Ospreay VS Jericho by having a match of the DECADE! And in order to do that, you need the two best rope-to-rope wrestlers in the world! The Alpha, Konosuke Takeshita, and Will BAH GAWD Ospreay! And people ask Callis, how can you pit the family against each other? Well, it’d be like when Michal Jordan and Scotty Pippen would go hard against each other in practice, then come together to win championships!

At the end of the day, it doesn’t matter which one wins at Revolution! The real winner after will be the Don Callis Family! Now, shake hands, guys, this will be historic! Konosuke and Ospreay stare down, and Ospreay offers first. Konosuke looks at Ospreay’s hand, then takes it. They shake, the fans boo, but Konosuke doesn’t let Ospreay go. Konosuke wants Ospreay to look him in the eye, then he pats Ospreay on the shoulder. But then Ospreay doesn’t let go! Ospreay won’t let Konosuke big brother him just because Ospreay just got back. The fans rally behind Ospreay, Callis joins in by trying, and failing, to make it a dueling chant.

Ospreay and Konosuke step back, and Ospreay smiles as he bows respect to Konosuke. Will the Don Callis Family really be okay after The Alpha and the Assassin fight it out?

Backstage interview with Eddie Kingston.

Renee is now with the Mad King, and notes the disrespect shown not only to him but this entire time leading up to the match with Bryan at Revolution, how concerned is Eddie to be facing this version of Bryan? Eddie starts but then The Bucks walk in asking if Eddie’s seen Sting. What? No, he hasn’t. The Bucks then realize they’re interrupting an interview. Sorry, take it from the top. No, this is life. Oh, oops, never mind. But then Nick says he has a bone to pick with Eddie anyway. All that crap Eddie was saying on Collision, next time it’ll be a fine! Matt has Nick cool down and apologizes for him.

But while Matt has Eddie, mind if he talks with him for a second? Eddie asks what these two are even doing, but Matt says hold on. Eddie is a champion, y’know. He should work on his presentation a little. He shows up to work with Timbs and sweats? Where’s his sports coat or something? Matt asks Nick if they need to implement a dress code backstage. But no, sorry, they’re still looking for Sting, so carry on. The Bucks go shouting for “Stinger” again, and Renee says she had a point about the Louis Vuitton Timbs. Seriously? Eddie doesn’t get what is going on with the EVPs, but will he be more than ready for Sunday?

Only for Cassidy to stand up! Nick runs, DESTROY- BEACH BREAK!! Cover, TWO!! Nick survives and wait, The Kingdom creeps in from the crowd! The ref tells them to stay back, but Nick RAMS Cassidy into buckles! SNAP DRAGON! Bridging cover, TWO!!

Cassidy escapes, and then ROPPONGI VICE is here! Rocky Romero & Trent Beretta are back and they’re going after Taven & Bennett for what they’ve done the past few weeks! Fans fire up as Cassidy’s Best Friends are getting even, but the ref doesn’t see Nick rip a buckle pad away! But then Daniel Garcia shows up! Or can Cassidy’s fighting spirit see him through another tough challenge?

Backstage interview with The Bang Bang Scissor Gang.

Renee is with Jay White, The Gunns, Max Caster & Anthony Bowens, and she notes the impressive win on Collision against Iron Savages. It seems they’re gelling as a group now. Oh, she saw that? White agrees, they are gelling. And to be honest, he was a little apprehensive at first, had their wires crossed a couple weeks ago on Dynamite. But after Collision, they’ve shown just how well they can work together, and White is all in on BBSG! They are damn near perfect! Aren’t they, Billy? Yeah, almost. But Max, what happened to your rap? You think anyone noticed? Uh, yeah, man, everyone noticed.

But Austin says he has an idea. Speaking of combos within the group, how about this? Austin Gunn & The Acclaimed for Collision! Bowens says that’s silly. But what about The Acclaimed & Austin? YES! Everyone loves it! Austin is confused, though, isn’t that just the same but said different? White moves on by saying EVERYONE loves The Acclaimed, BANG BANG! Bowens says he got it! They scissor finger, but will Austin, Max & Anthony make it a win just like the other half of the super group?

The Galaxy’s Greatest and the Babe with the Power used to be friends with the Chicago Skye, but we all know how the Princess of the Black Throne influenced her to the dark side. Skye dodges, runs back in but Kris ELBOWS her! Kris headstands but Skye stops the boots! Skye puts Kris on the apron to SHINING WIZARD her down! Skye then goes out to the apron, drags Kris back up by her hair, but Kris ROCKS Skye first! Kris then trophy lifts Skye to TOSS her into the crowd! Skye puts Kris on ropes to CHOKE her! Skye lets off at 4, then runs side to side, but Kris moves! The boot gets caught in the ropes, but Skye still hurries after Kris. Skye kicks and fires shots in the corner, then stomps Kris down! Skye digs her boot in, the ref counts, and Skye lets off at 4 again. Skye storms around, taunts Kris, but Kris hits back! Skye SLAPS Kris down, then CLUBS her! Skye facelocks and she grinds Kris into the mat.

Kris endures, fights around, but Skye stays clamped on. Stokely & Willow rally the fans, Kris fights up and throws body shots, but Skye throws her by her hair! Kris goes to a corner, Willow is there to cheer her on, but Skye KICKS Kris in the butt! Skye brings Kris around to bump her off buckles, then stomp her down again. The ref counts, Skye digs her boot in but lets off at 4. Skye swaggers while Kris flounders, and then Skye CLUBS Kris down. Kris hits back but Skye CHOPS! Skye bumps Kris off buckles, then CHOPS her again! Skye digs her boot in again, but the ref counts. Skye blows a kiss before letting off at 4.

Skye swaggers around again while Dynamite returns to single picture. Skye runs up, but into an ELOBW! Kris whips, Skye reverses but Kris blocks. Kris kicks, Skye blocks and KNEES Kris back. Skye whips Kris to a corner but Kris goes up to FLYING BACK ELBOW! Both women are down and the fans fire up! Kris and Skye rise while a count begins. They both stand at 3 of 10 and throw forearms back and forth! Kris gets the edge, then whips Skye to LARIAT her down! Kris hauls Skye back up, sends her to a corner and runs in to UPPERCUT! Then she goes side to side to KNEE Skye, and reels her in for a SNAP POWERSLAM! Cover, TWO!

Skye survives and Kris grows frustrated, but Stokely & Willow coach her up. Kris aims, spins, but Skye ducks the discus to kick low! TWIST ‘N’ SHOUT! SUPERKICK! Cover, TWO! Kris toughs it out but Skye snarls. Skye runs up at the ropes, SHINING- NO, Kris DUMPS Skye out! Skye avoids the shoulder to BOOT Kris down! Skye drags kris up on the apron, but Kris fights the nelson with an elbow! Skye SUPERKICKS, Kris ROUNDHOUSES! APRON GERMAN SUPLEX!! Skye flops to the floor and Julia checks her. Kris flops down, too, Willow checking on her. Kris and Skye both rise, Kris glares at Julia, but Julia glares back.

Willow steps up, daring Julia to do something. The ref tells them to hold off, and Kris runs at Skye! Skye drop toeholds her into steps! Skye puts Kris in, then runs up, wrench and reel, DESTROYER!! Then SUPERKICK, then cradle! TWO!! Kris survives and Skye is shocked! Julia is frustrated, too, but Skye hurries to go up a corner. Kris rises, and she UPPERCUTS first! ICONOCLASM! Kris drags Skye back up and fisherman’s, FISHERMAN DRIVER!! Cover, TWO!! Skye survives and now Kris is stunned! Stoke says use a chain! Kris says no, as does Willow. Skye runs up but into a BOOT! The ref reprimands Stoke, but then Skye runs up!

Kris dodges to ROUNDHOUSE Skye, but then Julia gets in! BELT SHOT!! The ref misses it because he’s arguing with Stokely! CODE BLUE!! SKYE WINS!!

Winner: Skye Blue, by pinfall

Willow is disappointed, but in Stokely, not Kris. Stokely wanted to go hardcore but this wasn’t the time, and now Kris suffers the loss. If The House Always Wins, will anyone ever get that title off Julia?

The Young Bucks are continuing their hunt of Sting.

Nicholas has the cameraman follow them to the door with Sting’s name on it. But Matthew wants Nicholas to hold on. Did Nick see the interview last week? Sting seemed a little… out of his mind with anger. So if there’s one thing for sure about Sting, it’s that nothing’s for sure. So just be mindful. Nick’s prepared! Let’s go! They step in, and the room is just a bunch of black baseball bats dangling from the ceiling. Oh, they’re playing mind games, huh? Nick smacks his bat off the chair, but where, oh where, could the Stinger Man be?

Chris Jericho VS Atlantis Jr. w/ Atlantis Sr!

The Ocho promised it’d be the Lionheart tonight, and he is ready to give us a blast from the past as he faces the future of CMLL. Will Jericho return the favor from Atlantis Sr. and teach Atlantis Jr. a thing or two about a thing or two? Or will the World Historic Light Heavyweight Champion show he already knows what it takes to succeed?

The bell rings and the two circle. The fans rally up, Atlantis offers a handshake, but Jericho SLAPS him! Jericho already said earlier there would be no going easy just because they’re friendly. So Atlantis SLAPS back! They throw hands faster and faster and then Jericho knees low! Jericho CHOPS and CHOPS then whips, but Atlantis reverses. Atlantis hurdles, drops down, then DROPKICKS Jericho down! Fans fire up as Jericho ends up in a corner, and Atlantis runs in. Jericho puts Atlantis on the apron, but Atlantis blocks the punch to GAMANGIRI! Jericho staggers away, Atlantis CROSSBODIES!

Atlantis kicks Jericho, fires forearms, then whips Jericho to a corner. Atlantis runs in, jumps up, gets cheers from the fans, and MONKEY FLIPS Jericho away! Jericho goes to another corner, Atlantis runs in and MONKEY FLIPS again! The fans cheer, Atlantis runs up again, but Jericho stops the third! And he has the legs, WALLS OF JERICHO! Atlantis endures, and he has the ROPEBREAK! Jericho lets go quickly, then he CLUBS away on Atlantis. Jericho pulls at the mask!? There’s no holding back and then there’s just being disrespectful! The ref reprimands, Jericho stops and Atlantis throws hands!

Atlantis kicks Jericho away, the ref helps with the strings, and then Atlantis Senior CHOKES Jericho with the towel! The fans cheer as Atlantis teaches Jericho another lesson even now! Jericho bails out to argue with Atlantis Sr, but then Junior DIVES onto him! The fans fire up as Atlantis Jr. gets Jericho up and around to SMACK him off the apron! Atlantis gets the legs, to CATAPULT Jericho into the POST! The fans fire up as Atlantis rises, and he brings steel steps around! The ref reprimands but Atlantis brings Jericho around. Atlantis reels Jericho in, gets him up, but Jericho fights it! So Senior helps out, and Atlantis has Jericho up!

But Jericho RANAS and sends Atlantis into the steps! The fans are torn while Senior checks on Junior, and Dynamite goes picture in picture.

Jericho storms over, he drags Atlantis around to SMACK him off the steps! Jericho puts Atlantis in the ring, kicks him around, then soaks up the cheers and jeers. Jericho drags Atlantis up again, CHOPS him, and has him in the corner. Jericho CHOPS again, and CHOPS again! Jericho whips corner to corner, runs in and clotheslines! Jericho puts Atlantis up top, throws hands, then climbs up after him. Jericho brings Atlantis up to the very top, but Atlantis resists! Atlantis SUPER GOURD BUSTERS Jericho down! Atlantis adjusts to FROG SPLASH! Cover, TWO!! Jericho survives and Atlantis can’t believe it!

The CHOPS go back and forth, then Jericho gets the edge! But Atlantis CHOPS and CHOPS in return! Atlantis puts Jericho on the ropes, and puts some stank on the CHOP! Dynamite returns to single picture as the fans want “One More Time!” Atlantis gets the fans fired up, and winds up to CHOP again! Atlantis whips but Jericho runs him over! Jericho keeps moving, but Atlantis puts him on the apron! Jericho hurries up a corner, but Atlantis meets him there! SUPER ARM-DRAG!

That’s definitely old school for Jericho! He covers, TWO!! Atlantis survives and now Jericho grows frustrated.

Jericho trips Atlantis, WALLS OF JERICHO!! Atlantis endures, reaches out, crawls forward, and his dad coaches him on!

Atlantis reaches, he’s fingertips away! But Jericho drags him away!! Jericho sits deep! Senior throws in the towel!! Jericho wins!

Winner: Chris Jericho, by forfeit

The Lionheart wins, and perhaps the lesson here was knowing when to give up for the sake of your career. Jericho checks on Junior and helps him up. There is still respect between Jericho and the Atlantis familia, will Junior still be the future of CMLL?

BREAKING NEWS for Revolution!

After the big win here tonight, Jericho is now part of the All-Star 8 Man Scramble! He joins “Powerhouse” Hobbs, Lance Archer, Brian Cage, Hook, Wardlow, and two more opponents! Those last two spots will be filled in qualifying matches to be held this weekend! CMLL’s Magnus takes on Matt Sydal for Rampage while a Triple Threat on Collision sees Penta El Zero Miedo VS Dante Martin VS Bryan Keith! Who will join the huge match that grants the winner a future AEW World Championship opportunity?

BREAKING NEWS for Collision!

Just 24 hours before Revolution, we hear from Toni Storm and Deonna Purrazzo ahead of their AEW Women’s World Championship, and we get a star-studded 8 Man Tag! Orange Cassidy, Trent Beretta, Hook & Daniel Garcia take on Roderick Strong, Brian Cage, Christian Cage & Killswitch/Luchasaurus! Who will have major momentum going into the title matches going into Revolution?

The Young Bucks make their way to the ring.

Since they didn’t find Sting backstage anywhere, it seems only logical they come out here to finish the search. There are fans wearing Sting masks, so Nick gets in their face. Is one of them Sting playing the hold “Sting wearing a Sting mask” gag? No but DARBY is! Darby DECKS Nick and fires off on the Bucks! Darby puts Nick in the ring but Matt anchors him! Nick PENALTY KICKS from above! The fans rally for Darby but the Bucks mug him back! They put Darby in the ring, get their bats, and it’s just like the night Darby & Sting won the tag titles! Matt CHOKES Darby, Nick throws off his jacket, and The Bucks sit Darby up.

Fans boo but the Bucks want, and hit the E V P TRIGGER!! Darby goes down, Matt JAMS Darby with the bat! Nick stomps Darby, too! The fans boo but the Bucks just soak it up. Then Matt calls for someone? Ric Flair is here?! The Nature Boy smiles as he struts his way down the ramp, but has he really betrayed Sting? Matt & Nick mug Darby more while Ric takes his time getting to the ring. Ric takes one of the bats, but then he pokes Nick in the eye and JABS Matt! The Nature Boy tricked the Bucks and has them right where he wants ’em! Except Nick LOW BLOWS Ric! Fans boo as Ric falls in a heap!

The Bucks are upset that the Dirtiest Player in the Game actually pulled one over on them, and they dig their boots in! The fans boo, then they call for “STING! STING! STING!” The Bucks soak up the heat, just hoping Sting shows up. But then the music hits and the Bucks get on the defensive! They hurry up the ramp with their bats, but where is he? Sting is lowered in from the rafters!! The fans are thunderous as we flashback to the early days of Crow Sting, and the Bucks can’t believe what they’ve just seen! The Bucks run back up, but bats collide and the Bucks are disarmed! Sting JAMS Matt, JAMS Nick, then CRACKS them with bats!

The fans fire up as Darby goes up and SUPER COFFIN DROPS onto both Bucks!! Darby gets Nick in the ring, Sting storms right in after him! Sting gets Nick for the SCORPION DEATH DROP! Darby slides in and Ric stands back up. The fans howl into the night with these icons, but Matt says they’re gonna come up with a “real nice severance package” for Sting. Will Sting’s last match be his most agonizing defeat? Or will it be his most triumphant victory?

My Thoughts:

A great Dynamite, and I really like how this flowed with just four matches. Granted, this format might just be because this is the go-home with plenty of more to do on Rampage and Collision, but AEW/Tony Khan should still try to book it like this more often. Hangman tricking us with the ankle was clever stuff to sucker Swerve in, but Swerve also owned up to doing messed up stuff so… I guess there isn’t really a Face in the match at all? Just Joe, Hangman and Swerve all being mean and badass, though Hangman is much more Heel right now because he tricked us. Either way, this still keeps everyone strong regardless of who wins, but at this point, the fans are strongly behind Swerve so it’s either Swerve or Joe winning.

Good group promo from Bang Bang Scissor Gang, and I like that they poked a little fun at Caster’s flub. And it’s a fitting move to do the flipside of last week’s mash-up, and it just seems to be the story that Austin gets dunked on by everybody else. As I said for last Saturday, it’d be a shame if BBSG came together just to break up and feud when we’ve basically seen that, but at this point, they haven’t even bothered feuding with other champions yet. We got a really good International Championship match from Cassidy VS Nick with all the overbooking to plug the different title stories, and we might even get Roppongi Vice VS Taven & Bennett for the ROH Tag titles at some point.

Really good stuff from Ospreay and the Don Callis Family, and naturally, there is tension between Ospreay and Konosuke already. Callis is too sure of himself, this match is of course tearing Ospreay away from the faction, and I personally still hope Kyle Fletcher joins him because they’re United Empire brothers. Awesome opening Six Man Tag for Eddie & FTR VS BCC, but BCC winning makes sense. There’s still a very good chance Eddie beats Bryan 1v1 to retain the Triple Crown, which is why Bryan got the win on Eddie right here. FTR VS Mox & Claudio could still go either way, but I’m leaning towards FTR so they can challenge for the tag championships past Revolution.

Really good match from Kris VS Skye, but what in the world is Stokely thinking? He’s teamed with two Faces and he’s trying to Heel it up, and that cost Kris. This is gonna lead to Stokely getting slapped around instead of him breaking Kris and Willow up. But there isn’t much time anymore, so I guess we’re not getting a TBS Championship build for Revolution. Maybe for Big Business in Boston in a couple weeks? It would be fitting if someone faces Julia for the title, and regardless of who wins, out comes Mercedes Mone for the huge homecoming moment, and she immediately sets herself up for a TBS Championship match for Double or Nothing.

Really good promo from Jericho, though I wish I knew more Spanish so I could understand the rest of that last line. But great match from Jericho with Atlantis Jr, though I am a touch surprised Jericho won. But hey, Atlantis Jr. looked great, he’s still a champion in CMLL and is going on quite the run over there, we can only hope AEW and CMLL are able to keep this working relationship going. News came out that there’s some travel visa issues for many different big names, let’s hope it doesn’t force AEW and CMLL to delay whatever Forbidden Door type thing they were working on.

And it seems one thing that did have to be delayed is that Meat Madness match. It was said by Tony Khan himself that document issues, along with some injuries, limited their choices for the big match of big meaty men, so now the All-Star Scramble happens instead. That’ll still be awesome stuff, and if it’s about a future world title shot, you can bet Hobbs or Wardlow comes out on top with this. Wardlow especially given that heated promo he gave last week and how it’ll feed into the Undisputed Kingdom story. If Adam Cole is gonna force Wardlow to hand over the world title, then Wardlow needs to have the world title in the first place.

And really good stuff to feed into Sting’s last Dynamite segment. The Bucks being on the hunt all night was an interesting way to keep us intrigued throughout the show, and you gotta appreciate Matt being the levelheaded one to foil against Nick being the hothead, to where Matt didn’t just barge into Sting’s room just in case. Sting dropping in from the rafters surprised me, also kinda scared me, but it was an awesome move to do that for his final TV appearance as it hearkens back to some of his best stuff in WCW.

Ric Flair tricking the Bucks was a good detail, though I’m surprised they didn’t save this for Revolution, but I suppose that would’ve only been the case if Sting & Darby were winning. I’ve been saying The Bucks are winning to get all that heat on themselves, the math would indicate that, but hey, maybe Sting gets to defy such math and tradition because of how he is so iconic and beloved in pro-wrestling.

My Score: 8.9/10

The Alpha stands tall over Davis as friendly fire takes out Ospreay’s team. But what happens when things divide into 1v1 matches? Will Konosuke still be International Champion after he and Ricochet go #OuttaThisWorld? Will Kyle prove that he IS The Protostar after tearing down Will Ospreay?

Jon Moxley & The Death Riders speak.

“Despite recent discoveries that Orange Cassidy is a snake, coldblooded, uncaring, unmoving, a serpent lurking in the darkest corners of the battlefield, my objective remains the same, my job on Saturday night remains the same. You may be this borderline sociopath, you may be a great guy just like everybody thinks. I don’t care if you’re a great guy. I don’t care what kind of person you are. When the bell rings on Saturday night, and the AEW World Championship hangs in the balance, you are a threat to my people. And I will destroy you.

“There’s so much more going on behind Orange Cassidy’s eyes than any of us could’ve imagined. You may make it to Full Gear with your mind in tact, but your body… For that matter, Darby Allin’s body… Still up for grabs.” Claudio jumps in, speaking in German about what he’ll do to Darby. Then in English, he says, “Tonight, I’m gonna end you.” Moxley pats Claudio on the shoulder. Will The Maniac’s top henchmen do his dirty work for him when they dismantle Cassidy & Darby? Or will it just be fuel on the fire for Freshly Squeezed & The Relentless One? Speaking of…

Darby Allin speaks.

“Claudio, I’m gonna keep this really short. Let’s not forget you’re the one who put the chair around Bryan’s neck and pulled the trigger on his career. Every single one of you Death Riders will have your day. And Claudio, today’s your day.” Will Moxley’s men be dealt with in brutal fashion before he suffers the same?

The Hurt Syndicate arrive.

Renee Paquette waits in the parking lot as an SUV pulls up, and she welcomes Montel Vontavious Porter, Shelton Benjamin & Bobby Lashley to the show. She heard MVP has a surprise in store, what’s he got planned? MVP says yes, there is a special treat for the AEW audience, and that is this announcement: The All Mighty Bobby Lashley will be in action here tonight on Dynamite in Reading, Pennsylvania, prior to his PPV debut on Saturday! Renee asks if MVP is at all concerned to put Lashley in a match- OH NO, Swerve attacks!! Swerve knocks Lashley over, then laughs as he gets away!

Shelton helps Lashley up but that ambush might’ve been with Swerve’s own silver chain. Will Lashley elect not to compete tonight after all? Or is he about to make an example out of whatever poor soul is put in front of him?

Adam Cole is here!

Reading fires up as the Panama City Playboy makes his way to the ring. They join in with the “BOOM!” and “ADAM COLE, BAYBAY!” Cole grabs a mic to ask, “Who’s ready for Storytime with Adam Cole, Baybay?” Reading sure is ready! Cole wishes so so badly that he could get his hands on MJF this Saturday, but he’s not. MJF did everything in his power to make sure he and Cole didn’t fight on Saturday, and he succeeded. But do you know who else succeeded last week? Roderick Strong did! The fans cheer as Cole says he and Roddy have the exact same goal: Give MJF the ass whooping of a lifetime! And that is exactly what happens at Full Gear!

The fans cheer, and wait, Kyle O’Reilly makes his way out here. The longtime friend of Cole & Roddy makes his way out here, and already has a mic. Kyle isn’t sure if Cole remembers, but 14 years ago, right here in Reading, PA, Cole and Kyle had their second match ever against each other. They’ve come a long way. Being associated with Cole has given Kyle some incredible highs, and some serious lows. And through those lows, Kyle knows Cole better than anyone. Which makes Kyle the only one willing to tell Cole the truth. The truth is, this crusade against MJF has got to end before someone gets hurt.

This obsession, Cole needs to wash his hands of it. His ankle has already been reconstructed, what’s next? Cole has friends willing to take a bullet for him, Kyle included, but Cole has got to stop having his friends fight his battles. Roddy barely makes it out alive last week, and now he wants to fight MJF! He wants to END MJF, all because of Cole. Kyle just doesn’t have a good feeling about any of this. Cole asks Kyle what he’s trying to say here. Kyle doesn’t think Roddy can handle MJF? Kyle asks Cole if he really thinks MJF isn’t already three steps ahead. MJF hasn’t been here for weeks but he’s pulling all the strings.

Cole should know that dealing with MJF is like playing with fire, and Kyle doesn’t wanna see his friends get burned. Cole needs to realize why so many of his friends are willing to go to war for him, and it’s because he is a great leader, an elite pro-wrestler, and a great friend, who doesn’t wanna see his friends get hurt. At least, so Kyle thinks. But Cole has to face facts: MJF is more of an evil bastard than Cole will ever be, and that is a good thing. Kyle drops his mic and walks away. Cole drops his mic, and has a lot to think about. Does Kyle have a point? Can Cole just let Roddy handle MJF and then move on?

Orange Cassidy speaks.

“A little later tonight, I’m gonna make an example out of you, Wheeler Yuta. And I’m gonna show everybody exactly what I’m gonna do this Saturday to you, Jon Moxley. And that’s walk down to that ring and beat you, alone.” But The Conglomeration steps in. Mark Briscoe has Rocky Romero & Tomohiro Ishii with him as he asks Cassidy, “What sense does that make, man?” Moxley said himself, there’s five Death Riders, one Cassidy. Conglomeration has his back, they are here for him. Cassidy says no, no one else needs to get hurt. Get hurt? What’s Cassidy talking about? The Conglomeration are ready to scrap!

PLEASE!! Cassidy is asking them… They don’t have to believe him or even understand him. But just promises him they’ll stay back here. If Cassidy insists, then so be it. Cassidy says there you have it, Jon. Five of you, one of him. Do what you’re gonna do. Because at Full Gear, Moxley’s gonna need all the help he can get. Cassidy is himself wanting the best for his friends, but will that work out for the betterment of AEW? Or is he just playing into Moxley’s hands?

Kris Statlander VS Hikaru Shida!

The #BornAgainKristen bodied the bullies that are Mercedes Mone & Kamille the last time she saw them, but she still needs to tune up for Full Gear. However, taking on the THREE-TIME AEW Women’s World Champion might be more than just a workout. Win, lose or draw, will the Shining Samurai get Kris ready for The CEO?

Kris tumbles and the fans duel as Shida fires up! Shida goes outside, drags Kris to the apron, and CLUBS her! Shida runs to KNEE LIFT! Kris flops to the floor and fans cheer while Dynamite goes picture in picture.

Shida brings Kris up again, and whips her into railing hard! Kris writhes, Shida drags her up, and then Shida whips Kris into more railing! Kris writhes again and Shida refreshes the ring count. Shida sits Kris in a corner to rain down fists! The fans fire up but the ref reprimands, so Shida stops. Shida brings Kris around, pushes her into the ring, and then stalks her. Shida stomps Kris around, brings her up, and snap suplexes! Kris writhes but Shida brings her up again. Shida then snap suplexes Kris into a corner! Shida drags Kris to a cover, TWO! Kris stays in this but Shida stays on her with a chinlock stretch!

Kris endures being bent back, and she reaches out with her free arm. Shida pulls back more but Kris rises up! Shida is again a backpack, but then she slips down. Kris fires body shots, slips around and lifts for a BIG back suplex! Kris huffs ‘n’ puffs as she rises up, but then Shida dodges the sliding forearm! Ghost pin! TWO, and Kris has a cradle! TWO! Shida ROCKS Kris, but Kris PELES! Shida staggers, but she comes back to ENZIGIRI! Both women are down and the fans fire up! The ref checks both women and they’re okay to continue, so a standing count begins. Shida and Kris stir at about 4 of 10, then rise up at 6.

Kris grabs Shida, but Shida fires a forearm! Dynamite returns to single picture as the shots go back and forth. Shida fires a flurry, then whips Kris to ropes. Kris ducks ‘n’ dodges, then dodges a knee! SNAP POWERSLAM! The fans fire up with Kris as she whips Shida to a corner. Kris runs up to UPPERCUT, then she goes side to side for a KNEE LIFT! Shida ends up in ropes but Kris reels her in. Fisherman BUSTER! Cover, TWO! Shida survives and the fans fire up again! Kris hoists Shida up, gut wrenches, but Shida slips free! DOUBLE LARIATS collide! Shida eggs Kris on, then dodges her to fire forearms! Kris just shakes her head!

Shida fires more shots, but Kris fireman’s carries! But Shida slips free, straitjacket roll-up! TWO!! KNEE STRIKE! And then short arm LARIAT! Shida takes aim, but she starts to doubt the Katana! Shida runs up but Kris dodges the boot to then scoop and INVERTED SLAM! Then Kris aims, DISCUS- NO, Shida backslides her! TWO!! Shida reels Kris in, suplexes, FALCON ARROW! Cover, TWO?!? Kris survives and Shida is shocked! Shida brings Kris up but Kris fires body shots and forearms! Shida ROCKS Kris, but Kris wrenches to kick! Kris runs, but into the JUMP KNEE! Shida hurries to suplex, but Kris turns it around!

Shida slips out of Kris’ suplex to slip around, GERMAN SUPLEX! Shida roars, aims, KATA- NO, Kris gut wrenches! Tuck and STATURDAY NIGHT FEVER!! Cover, Kris wins!!

Winner: Kris Statlander, by pinfall

Shida gave Kris a powerful match, but clearly Shida has to iron out her own crisis of confidence. Kris still shows Shida respect by helping her up. But wait, here comes Mercedes Mone & Kamille! The fans boo The CEO & Brickhouse but Mone has a mic. “Readiiiiing~! Say hello to your C E O!” The fans boo instead. Mone asks Kamille if she wants to hear a fun fact about Pennsylvania. The 76ers have had yet another terrible season! Embarrassing~! But shoutouts to Mone’s Celtics for another incredible victory. The fans boo Boston but Mone says another person with an incredible win was Kris Statlander. Mone is rarely impressed by her competition.

Does anyone else want to hear another fun fact? “NO!!” Well, Mone has held the TBS Championship longer than Kris! So at Full Gear, Mone will NOT lose, because she is The CEO, the greatest TBS Champion of all time! And she will NEVER lose this title! Fans tell The CEO to STFU, but Mone tells Kamille go get the job done! She is so pissed off! GO! NOW! Kamille walks up the steps past Mone, but with only one good arm! Mone says hurry up, but Kamille looks at both Shida and Kris. Kamille takes as swing, but Kris blocks to ROCK her! Shida QUESTION MARK KICKS Kamille! Then Kris & Shida TOSS The Brickhouse!

Shida goes out after Kamille, but then Mone goes after Kris! Mone goes for the backstabber, but Kris holds onto ropes! Mone is almost stuck up there, but Kris pops her around! STATURDAY NIGHT FEVER!! The fans fire up as Kris stands tall over The CEO! Will Kris once again become the Face of TBS? Or will Mone find a way to win even without her insurance policy?

The Hurt Syndicate has a cameraman with them.

MVP says hold on, he and Shelton have found Swerve. They go after the man in the big fur jacket, but that’s not Swerve! Swerve gave his jacket to the guy, but MVP & Shelton still beat this guy up for helping Swerve. MVP says they’ll find Swerve later, Lashley has his match up next. And it’ll be a 2-on-1 Handicap?! The All Mighty really IS mad, what poor duo is about to be destroyed?

AEW hears from Jay White and Hangman Adam Page.

“Hangman. You and I are on that same path to that same destination, trying to grasp at that same prize. 2024 still has some time left for The Switchblade to share the spotlight with Hangman once more!” But the Blackhat Cowboy asks White if he knows “Who the hell I am?! I am the Hangman! I am THE man! They named this whole godforsaken PPV after ME!” White says when he makes Hangman TAP, it will be a public declaration! But Hangman says White can’t make him tap, even if his life depended on it! These two vicious gunslingers will write one more chapter in their storied rivalry, but who comes out riding off into the sunset?

2v1 Handicap: Bobby Lashley w/ The Hurt Syndicate VS Joe Keys & Cheeseburger!

The All Mighty thought he’d have an easy night getting in a little warm-up, but The Realest quickly reminded him why he’s the most dangerous man in AEW! Lashley’s now doubling down to make a point, will there be nothing left of Keys & Cheese after tonight?

The bell rings and while the fans rally for Cheeseburger, he and Keys each argue the other should start. Lashley runs up and TOSSES Burger across the ring! Keys runs away, Lashley runs to RAM into Burger! Lashley brings Burger up, Keys runs in, but Lashley catches him for a COMPLETE SHOT DDT COMBO! Lashley drags Keys up and TOSSES him out! Winner: Bobby Lashley, by submission

MVP & Shelton join Lashley in the ring to celebrate, but then “Whose House?” “SWERVE’S HOUSE!” The fans fire up, and here comes Prince Nana with a chair! Nana eggs the Hurt Syndicate on so Shelton storms out after Nana. MVP watches the rest of ringside for Swerve, but Swerve slides out from under the ring! The fans fire up as Swerve slips in to CHAIN PUNCH Lashley!! MVP gets on the apron but Swerve DECKS MVP with a chain punch! And then Shelton eats a chain punch! The fans are thunderous as Swerve aims, and hits a HOUSE CALL on Lashley! Swerve hurries to the top rope, and he gives Lashley a KILL STOMP!!

The fans are thunderous as Swerve stands over Lashley! MVP & Shelton get up and get in, but Swerve escapes, chain draped on his neck! Will AEW then, now and forever be whose house? “SWERVE’S HOUSE!”

Backstage interview with Mariah May & Mina Shirakawa.

Renee is now with the AEW Women’s World Champion and her best friend, the Rev-Pro Undisputed British Women’s Champion. They are planning their Championship Champagne Celebration for Full Gear, BUT Friday Night Rampage will feature the two of them teaming up for the first time in just over a year. Mariah says no champion deserves a celebration more than her. Her rise to the top was meteoric, and her reign will be historic. She takes ish and makes it shine, any time and any show, against anyone. In Mariah’s division, you hold this title, or you die.

Mina says yes, Mariah has been working so hard. She came back to tell her she is so very proud. And Mina will give Mariah a celebration she’ll never forget! Mariah says the “H Cup Angel” (Mina) and the “Woman from Hell” (Mariah herself) are going to make Rampage into Glampage. Everyone wants Mina, but Mina wants Mariah. And then… They’ll dance! These two shimmy and shake their way out, will they finally be toasting their victories at Full Gear?

Darby Allin VS Claudio Castagnoli w/ The Death Riders!

Darby endures, fights up, but Claudio powers him down. Darby BITES Claudio’s hand! The ref reprimands but Darby fires off forearms on Claudio. Claudio HIP TOSSES Darby up and out of the ring! Darby hits the floor and flounders around while the ref reprimands Claudio. Claudio again waits on Darby, and then he DOUBLE STOMPS Darby the moment he’s in! The ref counts as Claudio stands on Darby at the ropes. Claudio steps off at 4, brings him around, and clamps on an armlock and chinbar. Winner: Claudio Castagnoli, by pinfall

Darby truly is relentless, with durability like no other, but it just wasn’t enough against the strength and brutality of Claudio! Will no one stop The Death Riders from running roughshod over AEW?

Backstage interview with Private Party.

Renee is with Marq Quen & Isiah Kassidy and brings up that at Full Gear, the AEW World Tag Team Championships are on the line in a Fatal 4 Way. Private Party takes on The Acclaimed, The Outrunners and The Kings of the Black Throne. In such a match, the champs do NOT have to be pinned or submitted to lose their titles, so what is their strategy? Brother Zay says they obviously can’t tell her that, the other teams are watching. But it seems like the odds are against them. Fortunately, the odds have been against them their whole lives, their whole careers, just like against The Young Bucks.

But look what happened: Private Party defied the odds, beat The Bucks, and are your AEW World Tag Team Champions. That is the same thing that happens on Saturday. They leave Newark, New Jersey still your tag team champions. Because there ain’t no party like a Private Party, that’s a flex. Oh, speaking of! It’s AJ & Big Justice! They’re fired up to be here, but Justice wants to know what that face Zay made was last week. Oh, right, this one, with the chin scratching. And AJ says they’ve got a BIG announcement coming up after this! Maybe some double chunk chocolate cookies? BOOM!!

A green Porsche Taycan pulls up to the middle of nowhere.

And out steps MJF. The Wolf of Wrestling tells the hobo to “go get it” as he throws spare change off to the side like birdseed. MVP then sits back and tells Roderick Strong, “You’ve been through so much. The kid who grew up trailer park trash with two abusive alcoholic parents. For crying out loud! Your own mother shot your father right in front of you. That’s traumatizing. And as you know, Roddy, trauma is the result of an overwhelming sense of danger, powerlessness and fear. However, healing is a result of feeling safe, empowered and supported. That’s why you’d do anything for Cole. He makes you feel all those positive things that you lacked.

“It’s why I was no different than you. It’s why I trusted him. Unfortunately, the difference between you and I: Cole for me was a mirage of what I wanted him to be. A fraud, a liar. And whilst Cole is a fraud, I do actually believe deep down, in his narcissistic, sociopathic, frail, feeble frame, is a man who cares about Roderick Strong. This is precisely why upon further contemplation, I am happy you won, Roddy. Because I want Adam Cole to watch a person he cares about suffer! And because of your White trash upbringing, you aren’t intelligent enough to realize that you don’t have a prayer. And I’m sending you back to where you belong. To your grimy little trailer park.

“And after the match, you’ll be in so much physical anguish, you’ll wish your mother hadn’t shot your father, but instead shot you.” As if this scumbag couldn’t stoop any lower, he brings up Roddy’s past to hurt him. But will Roddy make sure MJF’s future is the one full of pain and suffering?

Backstage interview with AJ & Big Justice.

Renee is with the Costco Tiktok sensations and says that in the Full Gear Zero Hour, we will see #BigBoomAJ take on QT Marshall in a match 20 YEARS in the making. AJ says it may have been 20 years in the making for QT, this all started for AJ when QT threw the double chunk chocolate cookies down! Renee says AJ has not been in the ring in those 20 years, is he concerned about how his body will hold up? AJ isn’t worried about that, because he just has one strategy, and that’s the strategy they use each and every day. That strategy is to bring the BOOM~! But hey, there’s another special announcement.

Because when AJ rings QT’s bell, and he Power-Booms QT right in the middle of that ring, there is only one guy they want ringing the bell: Big Justice’s best friend, THE RIZZLER! Time to bring the BOOM~! Will QT be sleeping on the mat for The Rizzler? Will he be skibidi? Fanum Tax? Why are those even words?

Tony Schiavone is on stage.

And he welcomes out The Undisputed Kingdom! The fans cheer as Roderick Strong makes his way out, accompanied by Matt Taven & Mike Bennett. Schiavone brings up Roddy VS MJF at Full Gear, and we just heard all that disgusting stuff MJF had to say. Roddy’s response is that to be honest, he has not slept a wink since last week. IT is finally happening! Roddy feels like a kid on Christmas morning. He finally gets his hands on “MAAAAAX~!” The fans echo that, and Roddy says if MJF was here tonight, and not hiding out there, Roddy would ask him: Is Roddy supposed to be ashamed of his childhood?

Is Roddy supposed to be ashamed of his parents? You don’t think Roddy’s heard that stuff before? His whole LIFE, that is what people brought up! His mom’s an addict, his dad’s an addict, mom shot dad. Good job, Max, you made Roddy feel like he was in elementary school again. And people may look at Roddy’s past and feel sorry for him, but Roddy asks us not to. Because looking at MJF, Roddy feels sorry for him. Understand this, Max. With Roddy’s life, he learned that to get the most out of life, you have to earn it. If you wanna break the cycle, you have to earn it. And that is what Roddy’s done ever since he was a kid!

And now looking at MJF, he’s been spoon-fed everything. And when something doesn’t go his way or something happens and he doesn’t like it, MJF throws a temper tantrum like a baby until that changes. So Roddy wants MJF to do something for him: Look in the mirror and think about all the things that MJF has done to people. The manipulating, the backstabbing, the using. MJF needs to realize, when the bell rings at Full Gear, MJF will pay for all those sins. With every chop, with every punch, with every elbow, with every backbreaker! And when it is all over, Roddy walks to his hotel room for the best night of sleep in his life because he earned it.

Especially because Roddy will know he has broken MJF’s back, and left him humbled! Roddy is all fired up, and the fans are with him! Will MJF finally get what’s coming to him? Or will he give Roddy nightmares for the rest of his life?

AEW shares footage taken from last Saturday night.

First, a recap video of Daniel Garcia thwarting Jack Perry’s attempts to abduct and torture Matthew Menard, as well as the joyride they took in the Scapegoat bus, with Perry as the hood ornament. And now, they have Perry strapped into a chair, the bus headlights as the only source of light. Menard is behind the camera as he asks Perry how he’s feeling. How’d that work out for him, huh? Garcia splashes Perry with water to wake him up, and says “Let’s have a conversation. I’m all ears.” Perry chuckles and says Garcia thinks he’s so much better than him. Look at where they are! Garcia shouts back that he doesn’t wanna be here!

Garcia just wants to wrestle, but AEW is full of savages! Perry tried to take Daddy Magic’s life! And those in power just sit back and watch, pretending that nothing’s going on. So what do they do? Gotta take the power back, right? Perry counters with, “Everybody’s got a code. Everybody cares about right and wrong until it costs them something. Until they have to SACRIFICE!” Garcia gets in Perry’s face, grabs him by the mouth, and says Perry’s always going on about sacrifice but Perry has no idea what Garcia’s had to go through! Perry has NO idea what Garcia’s had to sacrifice to be here!

Garcia knows where Perry wants him to go, but Garcia promises that he’s never gonna go there. Perry smirks, then SPITS in Garcia’s face. Garcia wipes that off his face and says bet. Garcia’s got something for Perry, so just wait right there. Garcia goes to the bus while Perry mockingly asks what he’s gonna do. Menard tells shut up, Jack! Life must be so hard for him! What’s Jack got to be sad about?! Garcia comes back and he has a crowbar! Perry dares him to go ahead. Garcia raises the bar, but he SMASHES up the bus! Garcia throws the crowbar away and Perry laughs. Is that it? Garcia tells Menard they’ll get out of here. What? Where’s Garcia going?

Perry says yeah, walk away. Menard tells Perry that Garcia’s gonna whoop his ass! Just wait! Menard leaves, Perry shouts into the night, but will The Face of TNT soon be the one sacrificed for the greater good?

Renee Paquette presides over the ROH World Championship contract signing.

She welcomes us backstage to the signing for this match, which will happen next week, Dynamite: Thanksgiving Eve, in Chicago. The challenger, Tomohiro Ishii, is on her left, and the champion, Chris Jericho, is on her right. Jericho, as champion, you have the honors to sign first. Jericho smiles and waves as he says, “Hi, guys.” But Renee, you should know better. A champion of Jericho’s caliber does not just sign a contract thrust at his face randomly. He has a whole legal team that needs to approve this contract. Renee says it was sent to said legal team last week. Oh, really? What about today? The now! Jericho lives in the now!

Jericho says he’ll get this checked by his legal eagles one more time. But for now, wait here. Choto matte kudesai. Jericho steps around the corner and then down the hall. He smiles at his own picture on the wall. What a good looking guy. But wait, Ishii has followed Jericho to the hall. Jericho is a bit worried as he keeps moving. Jericho tries to block Ishii’s path but a trash can isn’t enough. Jericho tells staffers that Ishii wants to talk to them. They step in the way but Ishii pushes them aside. Jericho moves faster, pushes more people in the way, but Ishii pushes them aside. Was that RJ City?

Jericho goes up some stairs but Ishii follows. Ishii’s even gaining ground! Jericho goes through a doorway and ends up in the concourse! Fans cheer as Jericho and Ishii keep up their cat ‘n’ mouse game. Jericho decides to go into the stands! Ishii follows, and they head down the bleachers towards ringside! Jericho hurries over railing but so does Ishii. They go into the ring, and now Jericho tells Ishii to stop following him! Jericho wants a mic, a mic is brought, and Jericho says hey, listen, Ishii. Jericho would sign this contract, but he doesn’t have a pen. Ishii has a pen! Oh. Ishii clicks it for Jericho, and pushes it into him.

Jericho takes the pen, looks at the contract again, and still hesitates. Jericho signs his part, and then hands things over to Ishii. But then BRYAN KEITH & BIG BILL ATTACK! It was all a massive set-up! Bad Apple & Redwood beat down Stone Pitbull, and then sit him up! Jericho has the pen ready, but here comes The Conglomeration! Mark Briscoe & Rocky Romero rush in, and Mark TACKLES Jericho! Rocky fires off on Bill while Mark CHOKES Jericho! Keith saves Jericho from Mark but Mark fires hands on Keith! The fans fire up, but then Bill SKYSCRAPER- NO, Mark UPPERCUTS Bill first! Rocky adds on!

The fans fire up as The Conglomeration pinballs Bill, and then Ishii CLOBBERS him! Bill tumbles out, but Rocky DIVES! Bill is sent into railing! Keith stands up, into a kick and underhooks! JAY DRILLER! Jericho stands up, Ishii has him, and hits a BRAINBUSTER!! Conglomeration stands tall over The Learning Tree and his Branches, and now Ishii signs his part! The match is now official, and Ishii is looking to take a bite out of Jericho! Will The Conglomeration have the ROH World Championship to be thankful for this year?

Backstage interview with Jamie Hayter.

Renee is with the former AEW Women’s World Champion and notes that last time, we were going to hear from her, only for her to be interrupted by Julia Hart. What is Hayter’s reaction to that? Well, yeah, she isn’t angry, but she is baffled why Julia chose to interrupt Hayter. They’ve never really spoken or interacted, or even wrestled each other. Hayter is just curious as to why Julia felt it was okay to do that. Granted, Julia can do whatever she wants, Hayter moves to the beat of her own drum just as much as Julia. But… if Julia wants to have a chat-

Uh oh, something is happening to the video! Brody King’s message echoes, “It’s time to come home.” Julia Hart walks through the woods. Brody says The House is her foundation. She has seen her rebirth. Now it is time to rebuild. She has woken up stronger, more determined, and more dangerous than ever. Julia aims her arrow to shoot down a target: her past self. Her obstacles are just bull’s eyes. She is the Princess of the Black Throne, and the Keeper of Secrets. She is Julia Hart, and her heart grows harder. She hits her mark, but will she find Hayter Hits Hard?

Orange Cassidy VS Wheeler Yuta!

Freshly Squeezed has been accused of being coldblooded and uncaring, but he got pretty heated as he told The Conglomeration to keep themselves safe tonight. He goes 1v1 with The Decoder, a young man who was once Cassidy’s student, and who left him behind to join the then Blackpool Combat Club. If anyone is uncaring, it is Yuta with how he would then follow Jon Moxley’s lead in the destruction of Bryan Danielson and Chuck Taylor. Who will be the more ferocious fighter tonight, this close to Full Gear?

The bell rings and Yuta SHOTGUNS Cassidy! Yuta follows Cassidy to a corner to CHOP, then ROCK, then CHOP again! Yuta whips corner to corner but Cassidy goes up and out. Cassidy bumps Yuta off buckles, climbs up top, but has to leap over. Yuta comes back but Cassidy catches him to a backslide! TWO, but Cassidy reels Yuta in for a cradle! TWO! Yuta pulls on an ear! But Cassidy arm-drags and wrangles Yuta into the SEATBELT! TWO!! Yuta escapes and the fans fire up as these two stand off. Yuta huffs ‘n’ puffs, but Cassidy shows he wants a grapple. They feel things out, knuckle lock, but Cassidy blocks a kick!

Cassidy reels Yuta in for a headlock, but Yuta powers up and out. Cassidy ducks ‘n’ rolls, tilt-o-whirls, but Yuta suplexes! Into STUN DOG MILLIONAIRE! Yuta tumbles out and fans fire up! Cassidy builds speed to DIVE! Down goes Yuta and the fans fire up again! Cassidy brings Yuta up, whips, but Yuta reverses to reel Cassidy in! Cassidy fights the suplex, but then Yuta fights a suplex. Yuta suplexes, to RAILING BRAINBUSTER!! Cassidy writhes and fans are stunned! Yuta stomps Cassidy, then leaves him behind for the ring count. Cassidy crawls into the ring, Yuta exposes a crossbar, and then he GRINDS Cassidy’s face into the steel!

The fans boo, the ref reprimands, but Yuta steps off at 4. Cassidy seethes as he rises up, but Yuta has him at the corner. Cassidy kicks Yuta’s legs out and Yuta falls onto a turnbuckle! Yuta falls back, Cassidy climbs, but Yuta grabs Cassidy first! Yuta drags Cassidy down but Cassidy fires hands. Yuta squeezes the facelock tight, then hits an APRON DDT! The fans boo Yuta while Cassidy writhes, and Dynamite goes picture in picture.

Cassidy clutches his neck while Yuta waits in the ring. A ring count starts and Yuta eggs Cassidy on. Cassidy reaches up as the count reaches 5 of 10, but he doesn’t sit up until 6. Cassidy hobbles up, stumbles and falls, but springs back to life! He slides in at 9! Only for Yuta to be right on him! Yuta reels Cassidy in, but Cassidy turns that into BEACH BREAK! Cover, TWO!! Yuta survives but Cassidy is too sore to be frustrated. They both sit up, and Yuta crawls his way over to a corner. Cassidy rises, checks his neck, then runs up, but into an ELBOW! Yuta goes up, but Cassidy JUMP FOREARMS! Cassidy positions Yuta just right before he climbs the corner.

Yuta resists but Cassidy still brings Yuta up. Yuta continues to fight the suplex, throws body shots, then shoves Cassidy down. Cassidy rolls back to his feet, runs back up the corner, but Yuta again fights the suplex! Cassidy fires hands, but Yuta fires back! They brawl up top, Cassidy HEADBUTTS Yuta! But Yuta HEADBUTTS back! They both wobble, but then Cassidy BITES Yuta! The ref reprimands, but Cassidy CLAWS Yuta’s back! This is very Moxley of him to do! And then Cassidy hits the SUPERPLEX! Both men are down and the ref checks. They’re both okay to continue, so a standing count begins!

Cassidy sits up, spots Yuta, and heads that way. Yuta sits up, they fire forearms as they stand! Dynamite returns to single picture as these shots go back and forth. The fans fire up for Cassidy but boo Yuta as the shots go faster and faster! Yuta BITES Cassidy’s forehead! Yuta spits then runs, but Cassidy dodges! BODY BLOW! SUPERKICK! Yuta sits down, Cassidy runs, PENALTY KICK! Cassidy slashes his throat, hauls Yuta up, BRAINBUSTER! Cover, TWO!! Yuta survives but Cassidy seethes. Cassidy rains down fists on Yuta! The ref reprimands about closed fists and hair pulling, but Cassidy doesn’t stop until the ref counts 4.

Cassidy stands, and he throws off the elbow pad! Cassidy aims at Yuta, runs up, but Yuta ducks the punch! GERMAN SUPLEX! Yuta runs to CHOP in the corner! And then a wrench and PAIN THRILLER! The fans boo while Yuta seethes and stands over Cassidy. Yuta sits Cassidy up, for HAMMER ‘N’ ANVIL ELBOWS! But Cassidy blocks one! And bends fingers, to then SNAP them! The fans fire up as Cassidy SNAPS finger after finger! Yuta swings, Cassidy BOOTS him, then serves up SOLE FOOD! Scoop and MICHINOKU DRIVER! Cover, TWO!! Cassidy is busting out all his best friends’ best moves, but he hasn’t gotten it done!

Cassidy aims, loads up, and ORANGE- NO, Yuta ducks! Orange fights the suplex, switches to O’Conner Roll! TWO, Yuta dodges Cassidy, scoops him, and CROSS LEG TOMBSTONE!! Cover, TWO?!? Cassidy survives and Yuta is furious! The fans are thunderous, but Yuta rains down HAMMER ‘N’ ANVIL ELBOWS! Cassidy grits his teeth but he’s almost a ragdoll! Yuta lets off to then hook the arms, CATTLE MUTILATION!! Cassidy endures as Yuta thrashes him around! Cassidy powers up as the fans rally, and he kicks around to the ROPEBREAK!! Yuta holds on, the ref counts, and Yuta finally lets go at 4!

The ref reprimands Yuta, but Yuta pushes past the ref to go outside the ring. Yuta grabs a chair! Yuta storms into the ring while the fans boo, and the ref says don’t do it! Cassidy dodges the chair shot! Victory roll, CASSIDY WINS!!

Winner: Orange Cassidy, by pinfall

Yuta is in disbelief! Cassidy beat him with a technical move! Yuta snarls but the ref keeps him back. Cassidy did what he promised in beating Yuta, but then he stares his former student down. Is Cassidy going to offer a handshake? WAIT, PAC ATTACKS! The Bastard BOOTS Cassidy down so we’ll never know what Cassidy was going to do! The fans boo more but Pac & Yuta stand on Cassidy. The rest of the Death Riders appear, and Marina Shafir has duct tape! The AEW World Trios Champions stomp away on Cassidy, like vultures picking the bones. Moxley steps into the ring while Marina hands the tape over to Pac.

Claudio puts Cassidy’s hands in his pockets, and then Pac tapes them in! Cassidy is physically bound, and Moxley paces around. Cassidy is pushed around by all the Death Riders, then Moxley DECKS him! Claudio hauls Cassidy back up, the Death Riders keep bullying him, and then Moxley SLAPS Cassidy down! But the bullying continues as they stand Cassidy up. Cassidy “kicks” Moxley! Defiant to the end! But Moxley DECKS him again! Moxley paces around more, then stomps Cassidy right on the face! Moxley leads The Death Riders away, and The Conglomeration finally comes out here.

Mark has scissors to cut Cassidy loose, and the fans boo as The Death Riders still retreat. Cassidy tries to stand up, but he has to use ropes to do it. Even so, Cassidy stands on his own two feet. Moxley eggs on the fans while Cassidy puts his sunglasses on. And then hands up, and then into the pockets! Try as they might, The Death Riders could not break the Freshly Squeezed fighting spirit! Will Cassidy finally become AEW World Champion? Or will Moxley find a way to break Cassidy at Full Gear?

My Thoughts:

A great go-home Dynamite here, though it felt like it contracted Go Home Syndrome. A lot of recap and other promos, but good promos all the same. Good follow-up from last week with Hayter and Hart, that will probably really get going after Full Gear. Good promo from Mariah & Mina to hype up their celebration segment for Full Gear, and with Toni Storm’s announcement of her retirement, you can bet Toni is anything but retired! Toni Storm most assuredly will return very soon, maybe even to ruin the celebration and spark another feud. I still want us to get to Mariah VS Mina but maybe Storm moves things back so that Mariah VS Mina happens in 2025.

Good promo from Private Party to also have AJ & Big Justice show up. The promos didn’t really add much to any of the matches, though. I’m very sure AJ does hit the BOOM on QT to win, and then Private Party finds a way to survive the Fatal 4. Great stuff with Perry, Garcia and Menard, that was another very action movie kind of promo, maybe even like that grittier Batman movie. But with Garcia not sinking to the same lows as Perry, that will be why Garcia loses. Honestly, why not just have Perry blatantly get himself disqualified? What great heat for Perry while keeping Garcia strong in not becoming TNT Champion.

Great promos in this MJF story. I appreciate Cole throwing his support behind Roddy was good, as well as Kyle O’Reilly wanting Cole to just leave it at this. MJF of course insults Roddy over his past while also trashing Cole at the same time, but great response from Roddy. Also I’m not a car guy so it took me a little too long to Google out what car MJF was driving. Anyway, given all these promos, I am very confident MJF wins at Full Gear and then Cole still wants after MJF, only for Kyle to have to fight Cole to make him stop. Then we’ll maybe get Cole VS MJF at Worlds End, or even some time in 2025.

Very good stuff with The Hurt Syndicate, even with them getting jumped by Swerve. Poor Cheeseburger, that’s one fan favorite that got fed to Bobby Lashley. But Swerve getting the better of the Hurt Syndicate again and again tonight, all the more reason Lashley wins at Full Gear. Very good promo vignette from White and Hangman to hype up their grudge match, which still feels it could go either way since they’re tied on the year. And Jericho and Ishii had perhaps simultaneously the most clever and most ridiculous contract signing segment ever. And of course Jericho worked out some sort of trap, only for it to go badly for him and his team. But with that, that means Ishii is losing next week, as I figured he would.

Awesome opening match with the 8 Man, and I liked that they had Hobbs do the “fighting through the pain” angle in the match. Also, great bit with Kyle Fletcher sending Davis into harm’s way so that the Callis Family can get the better of Ospreay’s team. I thought the Faces were going to win here, but the math now says Ospreay finds a way to beat Kyle, and maybe Ricochet takes the International Championship from Konosuke Takeshita. The Continental Classic is coming, and they could easily use that round robin to get Konosuke back to a feud with Kazuchika Okada and they battle for the Continental Championship at Worlds End like we should’ve gotten at WrestleDream.

Awesome match from Kris VS Shida, and I appreciate the crisis of confidence for Shida. Kris gets a great win to go into Full Gear, and then Kris and Shida get the better of Mone & Kamille, so all the more reason Mone finds a way to survive. As for Kamille, I feel like she should ditch Mone for being treated like crap by Mone, and maybe we can get a feud of Mone VS Kamille going into 2025. And of course, plenty of promos from Death Riders and “Team AEW” members. Moxley just kinda went on and on about stuff he’s already said in reference to Cassidy, but I did like Claudio going bilingual in talking trash on Darby.

Awesome matches from those stories, of course. Darby really got thrown around but he continues to show that toughness. Claudio getting the win mostly keeps Darby back so that Darby can build towards a world title match at Worlds End. Cassidy VS Yuta was great stuff, too, with great back and forth of Cassidy wanting to end it quick, having to grit it out with Yuta, and then Cassidy still finding a way to end it with a quick pin. And they did a good job muddying the math. Cassidy wins the match, but the Death Riders beat him down, only for Cassidy to literally stand tall at the end of the show. I still don’t see him taking the world title from Moxley, though, with Darby still in the wings, but this could end up Cassidy’s best match yet.

My Score: 8.9/10

What a powerful return for Mina, and while Harley shimmies in frustration, will it be Mina celebrating even more should Mariah May retain her title?

Jack Perry arrives.

The Scapegoat arrives in his black bus, but he also leaves the engine running while he heads inside. What is the twisted TNT Champion planning for tonight?

Daniel Garcia VS Johnny TV w/ MXM Collection!

Speaking of the TNT Championship, it will be Red Death challenging Jack Perry for that gold. But before he becomes the Face of TNT, can he prove to Johnny and the world that he is #TVReady?

The bell rings and Garcia circles with Johnny. They tie up, go around, and Johnny powers Garcia to a corner. The ref counts, Johnny lets off slowly, but then he takes a swing! Garcia dodges, headlocks and grinds Johnny. Johnny powers up and out, then he RUNS Garcia over! The fans are torn but Garcia gets up to shake that off. Then you’re what’s holding him back. But I’m gonna fix that.”

Perry shoves Menard aside, then goes into the bus. Perry brings out a tow chain, with a hook on it! Perry CLUBS Menard, then hooks him up to the back of the bus! Between the chain and the bus exhaust, Menard is coughing and sputtering. Perry tells Menard, “We all have to sacrifice.” Perry then goes into the bus, but Garcia runs up! Garcia fires off on Perry, throws him into the side of the bus, “You thought this was a game?!” Garcia stomps Perry, and he frees Menard from the chain. Garcia stands Perry up abut Menard has an idea. Menard takes the camera, but Collision goes to break. What hell will Garcia put Perry through a week before Full Gear?

Lio Rush speaks.

“I am sick and tired of feeling the way that I’ve been feeling lately. Lost and confused on where I stand with the people that surrounded me. It’s really hard to know exactly who you are when you lose the matches that mean the most. But then I take a deep breath, I look at my watch, and I remember that I’m the Man of the Hour. I came to AEW to collect titles. I’m a 30-year-old piece of gold, and I pray that the people I call friends get on the same page. Because it’s only a matter of time before Lio Rush is rushing to the top.”

Garcia has Perry tied to the hood of the bus!

Garcia shouts at Perry that he was waiting for a reason! Garcia and Menard get in the bus, and they take Perry for a ride! They go through guard rails, up a ramp, and perhaps even into town! Will the Scapegoat end up a bug on a windshield?

Komander adjusts position, dodges Shelton, and kicks the legs out! Shelton falls back, Komander goes up! MISSILE DROPKICK! The fans fire up and Komander rises! Komander storms up but Shelton kicks low. Shelton suplexes, but Komander slips around! SLEEPER, then ELEVATED COBRA TWIST!

Shelton endures, powers out, but Komander handsprings through the hip toss! Komander runs, tilt-o-whirls, DEJA VU RANA! Shelton tumbles out and the fans fire up with Komander! Komander hurries to a corner and climbs! Komander tightrope walks the 20 feet, to then SPACE MAN MOONSAULT! Down goes Shelton and the fans are thunderous! Komander hurries to get Shelton up but Shelton ELBOWS him away. Shelton slides into the ring himself, but Komander follows. MVP is furious as Komander runs, 619! Shelton is down and Komander goes up again! MVP shouts at Shelton while Komander aims.

Komander tightrope walks again but has to bail out as Shelton moves! Shelton waistlocks to GERMAN SUPLEX! And then GERMAN SUPLEX again! Komander flounders to a corner, Shelton runs up to STEP-UP KNEE! And then a SUPERKICK! Komander gets folded up and MVP says finish it already! Shelton hauls Komander up, clinches, and hits PAYDIRT! Cover, Shelton wins!

Winner: Shelton Benjamin, by pinfall

MVP stands with Shelton in the victory, but Komander definitely give more of a fight than either man expected. MVP then says we should leave with a souvenir! Shelton grabs at Komander’s mask! Abrahantes gets in the ring to stop Shelton, but then he sees MVP there. MVP grabs Abrahantes by the neck! MVP LARIATS Abrahantes down! MVP may be a manager now, but he can still hit other managers hard. Will nothing stop The Hurt Syndicate from owning AEW?

Backstage interview with Kris Statlander.

Renee Paquette is with the #BornAgainKristen and says that we’re just one week away from Kris VS Mercedes Mone for the TBS Championship at Full Gear. Things have already gotten out of control, from Mone & Kamille trying to run Kris over with a car, and then Kris tackles them through a wall. Once the bell rings, what can we expect? Kris says, “Anything and everything.” Mone is one of the best, will do anything she can to win, and is most dangerous when she’s cornered, where she is right now. Everything she’s tried hasn’t worked because Kris is still standing. Kris will be the one standing tall as the NEW TBS Champion.

In steps Hikaru Shida with enthusiastic applause. The Shining Samurai tells Kris that she just wants to wish her luck. It’s about time someone beats Mone’s boney ass! And when Kris becomes the new champion, Shida will gladly be her first challenger. Kris says alright, sure. But here’s another idea: Kris is always open for a challenge any time, especially against #HolyShida, the only THREE-TIME AEW Women’s World Champion. So how about this? Wednesday Night Dynamite, Shida VS Kris. Shida’s all for it! They shake hands, but will fighting Shida be a little too much before going to Full Gear? Or will it prove Kris is still The Galaxy’s Greatest?

Backstage interview with The Acclaimed.

Lexy Nair is with Max Caster & Anthony Bowens ahead of their huge Full Gear Tag Team Contenders Series match with La Faccion Ingobernable. But where is Billy Gunn? Caster asks that more importantly, where are their heads going into the match? Because Caster just has to say, as the Best Wrestler Alive, he’s feeling real confident. Bowens says for Lexy’s actual question, Billy will be here. What Caster was trying to say is that The Acclaimed do feel great, because they are one match away from joining that Fatal 4, where they will become TWO-TIME AEW World Tag Team Champions in the Scissor King’s home state of New Jersey!

And when they win, The Acclaimed will celebrate with one big scissoring, because EVERYONE LOVES THE ACCLAIMED! Ain’t that right, Lexy? Oh, wait, MVP steps in, Shelton Benjamin by his side. The Hurt Syndicate just wants to wish The Acclaimed luck. The Syndicate handled their business, so Caster & Bownes should handle theirs. Oh, and Max, use your size and strength. This is a big opportunity, don’t blow it. The Syndicate heads out, but will The Acclaimed win to impress MVP? Or to get back where they belong?

“Powerhouse” Will Hobbs VS Bulk Bronson w/ The Iron Savages!

The return of the Powerhouse is truly big for AEW, but all the Iron Savages are big. And Jacked Jameson wants everyone to hold on. The fat morons and skinny idiots of Albany can shut up. Jameson gives all the introductions, and looking at “P-P-Powerhouse,” all you people are expecting a meat madness match! You want meat?! Then yeah, chant it up! But here’s some news: all these losers are going on a vegan diet! There will be no meat tonight! Because they are The Iron Savages, sippin’ sauce and livin’ hoss while they take all the Low T Meatriders to #TIDDYCITY! Guess Bronson can do it, too?

The bell rings and the fans rally up. Bronson pumps up and puffs up, but he’s looking lean compared to Hobbs. Bronson runs, RAMS Hobbs, but Bronson bounces off! The fans fire up but the Savages coach Bronson up. Hobbs says stop playing and bring it! Hobbs SLAPS Bronson, so Bronson really fires up! Bronson kicks low, and says, “How ’bout that, Hobbs?!” Bronson runs, but Hobbs dodges and CLOBBERS him! The fans fire up while Hobbs brings Bronson around. Scoop and SLAM, and the fans fire up with Hobbs! Hobbs then brings Bronson up to scoop and SLAM again! Bronson writhes, the fans chant for “MEAT! MEAT! MEAT!”

Hobbs drags Bronson up, scoops and SLAMS again! Bronson writhes while Hobbs looms over him. Hobbs brings Bronson up, but Bronson wrenches out to ROCK Hobbs! Bronson fires haymakers, then CLUBS away on Hobbs’ back! The fans rally, Bronson reels Hobbs in, but Hobbs suplexes Bronson first! Bronson flounders into a corner, the fans fire up as Hobbs headbutts buckles! Hobbs runs up to SPLASH in the corner! Hobbs says he’s got all the meat! Hobbs LARIATS point blank again and again as fans chant “MEAT!” Hobbs lets Bronson stagger about, before he CLOBBERS him!

Hobbs shakes the ropes, and the straps come down! The fans fire up but Jameson talks trash on the apron. Hobbs DECKS him! Boulder runs in?! Hobbs hits a SPINEBUSTER! The ref can’t believe what’s going on as Hobbs torture racks Bronson! ARGENTINE RACK! Bronson TAPS, Hobbs wins! And drops Bronson on Boulder!

Winner: “Powerhouse” Will Hobbs, by submission

Big, jacked, and ANYBODY can get it! That is the way of the Powerhouse! Will the Book of Hobbs have quite the comeback story?

Backstage interview with The Undisputed Kingdom.

Lexy is now with Roderick Strong, Matt Taven & Mike Bennett. She congratulates Roddy for getting his third win via Lance Archer. Roddy now faces MJF at Full Gear, so how is he feeling? How’s he feeling? First, thanks for all that, Lexy, he appreciates it. Second, “MAAAX! You have seven days. Seven days from right now until you’re standing across the ring from me, Max. And look, I got a lot to say, and on Wednesday, you’re gonna hear it all, but I just wanna leave you with this: Max, you walk around here thinking you’re smarter than everybody, you’re better than everybody. I don’t think you realize what you’ve gotten yourself into.

“I am the Messiah of the Backbreaker. I am a damn wrestling legend! And when Full Gear ends, you’re gonna realize that I’m better than you, and you know it!” Roddy is ready to throw it all back in MJF’s face, but will the Wolf of Wrestling have a contingency plan?

Private Party is here!

The MVP Arena is ready to party with the champs, and Marq Quen & Isiah Kassidy are ready to watch the final match of the contenders’ series! Who joins Private Party, The Outrunners, and The Kings of the Black Throne at Full Gear?

Full Gear Tag Team Contenders Series: Rush & The Beast Mortos w/ Jake “The Snake” Roberts VS The Acclaimed w/ Billy Gunn!

Platinum Max of course has a diss track. “These dudes gotta be embarrassed. You ’bout to lose bigger than Kamala Harris! LFI in a title match is outta place. It’s like Mexicans being managed by Jake the Snake! I would’ve called the committee, but you’re lucky Albany’s a sanctuary city!” Bowens takes over to say, “ALBANAAAAAY~! The Acclaimed have arrived! Scissor me, Daddy Ass~!” And he does~! But Caster doesn’t? The teams sort out, and while Caster wants to, Bowens convinces him to let Bowens start. Mortos steps up and the fans sing while the bell rings. Bowens and Mortos circle, tie up, and Mortos powers Bowens to a corner.

The ref counts, Mortos lets off, but Bowens dodges the shot to fire CHOPS! Mortos just roars! Mortos runs up, Bowens dodges to CHOP, CHOP and fire forearms! Mortos puts Bowens in a corner to fire forearms and lariats! Caster protests but Mortos SMACKS Bowens! And SMACKS him again! Mortos whips, Bowens reverses, but Mortos rolls off Bowens’ back! Bowens DROPKICKS but Mortos rebounds to CLOBBER Bowens! Bowens gets up but Caster tags in. Caster tells Bowens to relax, but here comes Rush. The fans rally up and the two tie up. Rush powers Caster back, Caster turns things around, but Rush turns it back around.

The ref counts as they’re in a corner, and the two separate. Rush eggs Caster on, the two tie up again, and Rush waistlocks. Caster switches, shoves, and drops down. Rush runs up but Caster hurdles. Rush leaps over but Caster runs him over! Rush runs Caster over! The fans fire up, but Caster says hold on! Tranquilo! Caster raises the ingobernable fist, Rush is moderately amused, but then Caster sucker punches him! Rush scowls and DECKS Caster! Rush goes out to grab his favorite green cable! Mortos distracts the ref, but Caster fires hands on Rush first! And Caster uses the cable! The fans cheer as Rush tastes his own medicine!

But then Rush SLINGS Caster to the floor! Billy is upset but the ref wants him to stay back. Billy tries to point out the shenanigans, but Collision goes picture in picture.

The ref is busy with Billy and that lets Rush LASH Caster with the cable! Rush SMACKS Caster off the desk, Caster scrambles into the ring, but Rush anchors his leg. Rush drags Caster up, CHOPS him then ROCKS him, then bumps him off buckles. Tag to Mortos and Mortos SMACKS Caster! Cover, TWO! Caster toughs it out but Mortos NECK GTWISTS! Cover, TWO! Mortos stalks Caster to a corner while Private Party watches closely. Mortos SMACKS Caster again! Mortos puts Caster in the corner, taunts Bowens, and while the ref is busy with Bowens, that lets The Snake get in cheap shots!

Billy and Bowens both protest, but Mortos wrenches Caster. Tag to Rush and LFI mugs Caster. Caster goes to a corner but Rush whips corner to corner. Rush runs up and feints the dropkick to SMACK Caster! Rush soaks up the cheers and jeers while he blows a kiss. Rush drags Caster up to snapmare and motorcycle stretch. Caster endures but Jake is happy with this. Caster fights up, but Rush throws him down by his hair! Private Party doesn’t like how this is going for Acclaimed, but Rush taunts Bowens. The ref has ot keep Bownse back again, and Rush drags Caster back. Tag to Mortos and LFI mugs Caster more while Collision goes to break.

Collision returns and Caster fights up to ENZIGIRI Mortos! Mortos staggers back, Caster crawls forward, hot tag to Bowens! Bowens rallies on LFI with LARIATS, haymakers and CHOPS! Mortos roars, but Bowens sends him into the corner! Mortos tumbles up and out, then Bowens gives Rush the kick, kick, and FAMOUSER! Bowens shouts, “EVERYONE LOVES THE ACCLAIMED!” Bowens then goes up and aims, SUPER CROSSBODY onto Mortos! The fans fire up and Bowens hurries to put Mortos in. Cover, TWO! Mortos stays in this, but Bowens stays focused. Bowens fires forearms but Mortos hits back.

Bowens fires a flurry, then whips, but Mortos reverses. Mortos POP-UP SAMOAN DROPS Bowens down! The fans fire up but Caster MISSILE DROPKCIKS Mortos! Rush runs up, but Caster SUPERKICKS him! Caster runs at Rush, but Rush THROWS him into the corner! Bowens DECKS Rush! The fans fire up as all four men are down! Private Party likes this, too, as Billy coaches his guys. Jake also coaches LFI, and “This is Awesome!” Mortos blocks a shot to HEADBUTT Bowens down! Tag to Rush and Rush runs at the corner, only for Bowens to dodge! Bowens CHOPS and CHOPS and CHOPS away!

Bowens sits Rush down, mocks the tranquilo with some scissor fingers, but that pisses Rush off! Rush shoves Bowens, the hands start flying! Rush whips Bowens to a corner, to CHOP, CHOP, and CHOP! Rush sits Bowens down to stomp away! The ref counts, Rush argues with him, but then goes corner to corner! Feint and BOOT! Rush gives a proper tranquilo, then he has the fans fired up. Bownes runs up, but into a SNAP POWERSLAM! Rush puts Bowens in the drop zone, goes up, SUPER SENTON FLOPS! Tag to Caster and he goes up! DIVING SPLASH! Cover, Mortos breaks it! Mortos gets Rush to safety, then tags in.

Rush dodges Caster, Mortos ROCKS him! Rush hits a BACKSTABBER, then holds Caster up for Mortos’ MISSILE DROPKICK! Cover, Bowens breaks it! Rush CHOPS Bowens, Mortos whips Caster, and then Mortos CLOBBERS Caster! The fans rally as Rush says now it’s time! But Bowens fires off Rock, Paper, Scissors SUPERKICK! Mortos CLOBBERS Bowens! Mortos then runs at Caster, CANNONBALL MISSES! Hot tag to Bowens and he hits THE ARRIVAL on Mortos! MIC DROP from Caster!! Cover, ACCLAIMED WINS!

Winners: The Acclaimed, by pinfall (advance to Full Gear)

Private Party says alright, nice on Acclaimed! Billy helps Caster to his feet, but Caster is a bit squirrely. Caster calms down, and The Acclaimed all SCISSOR FINGER~! They’re in the Fatal 4, but will Caster & Bowens be the ones to become TWO-TIME TWO-TIME AEW World Tag Team Champions?

PROGRAMMING NOTE for next week!

With Full Gear being next Saturday, November 23rd, Collision takes a week off! We’ll see everyone back here in two weeks on November 30th!

Backstage interview with Mina Shirakawa.

Lexy is with the Fighting Gravure Idol and congratulates her on her win in her return. Mina says yes, she is so back to have come back here, and she is so excited for Mariah’s match. Lexy says Mina already has multiple championships, is AEW gold on her mind at all? Mina says she’s just excited for Mariah’s match. But that’s not a no… Time to dance! Mina shimmies her way on out, but will she end up wanting something more than just fun with her friend?

Backstage interview with The Conglomeration.

Lexy is now with Mark Briscoe, Rocky Romero & Tomohiro Ishii, and she notes that in a couple weeks, Dynamite: Thanksgiving Eve, it will be Tomohiro Ishii VS Chris Jericho for the ROH World Championship. How is Ishii feeling? The Stone Pitbull is stone-faced, so Mark Briscoe “translates” what #BigTom is exuding with his aura. This is what he’s trying to say: Jericho, your days are numbered! You better shine that title up real nice, sleep with it real close, because soon, it’s getting up outta there! “Learning Tree my ass, you about to learn a lesson about humility! You about to learn a lesson about gettin’ your ass whooped!”

Mark asks if they understand what he’s saying, and Rocky says yeah, he’s picking up what Mark’s putting down. Rocky’s digging the energy, and he feels the intensity. But he has to know one thing: What is the word of the day? That’s a hell of a question, Rocky, because today, it is a menagerie of words! Take a basket, reach in, pull out the word of the day, and well, it’s tenacious! Tenacity! Ferocious! Velocity! Ferocity! He’s tellin’ ya, long story short, that title is coming back to the Conglomeration, courtesy of Tomohiro Ishii! Jericho, you gettin’ your ass whooped, son! RARARARA!

Mark may be fire on the outside, but Ishii is fire on the inside. Will The Learning Tree be burned down either way?

Backstage interview with FTR.

Lexy notes that this past Wednesday, Cash Wheeler & Dax Harwood came up short in their own Full Gear Contenders Series match. Where are their heads out right now? Cash says he wishes he had an answer, because he doesn’t really know. FTR doesn’t know where they go from here. They wish it was just one bad night, but the truth of the matter is, FTR lost those titles a little over a year ago and have had chances to get them back where they just haven’t. Maybe it’s FTR. Maybe their time has passed them. Maybe they need to reevaluate. Dax agrees. But on Dynamite, the better team won on that night.

While FTR could cry about it, or they could rebuild. Therefore, they will rebuild. This may not be FTR’s time, but it is someone’s time. It is The Outrunners’ time! And maybe after Full Gear, we get an FTRunners dream match for those titles. Boys, they’re pulling for you. Speaking of, we’re about to hear from The Outrunners right now!

The Outrunners speak.

Truth Magnum & Turbo Floyd have another retro style video in old standard definition, saying they’ve got the looks and the attitude, so you know they’ve got “the stuff!” It’s a highlight reel of their match with Top Flight, even using retro graphics in the editing. You gotta have the meat! And right now, they’re sizzling! But will Truth & Turbo be prime A1 material at Full Gear? Or will they end up well done?

AEW Women’s World Championship No Disqualifications Match: Mariah May VS Anna Jay!

The Battle of the Belts was a Title Eliminator that went The Queenslayer’s way, only for The Glamour to get her revenge in the proper title match. However, all the back and forth, the bullying and the brawling, it has led to this rubber match! And as if No Disqualifications isn’t raising the stakes enough, Anna promises that if she loses, this is the last time she challenges Mariah for the title! Will this last chance be just the chance Anna needs to become The Star of the Show? Or will AEW still be All About Mariah?

Anna already brings a duffel bag of weaponry, and Nigel panics for Mariah’s sake. But Mariah came prepared with a trash can, baseball bat, and proper attire for a Street Fight. The introductions are made, but Mariah throws her can already! Anna dodges then SHOTGUNS Mariah! The bell rings, Anna is right on Mariah, and she sends Mariah into the railing! And then the steel steps! And then back into railing! The fans fire up while Anna keeps after Mariah with haymakers. Anna whips Mariah hard into railing! The Vendetta watches backstage, they seem to like Anna bringing out the violence as she SMACKS Mariah off the desk!

Anna confiscates a monitor to SMACK Mariah on the back! Mariah falls into Schaivone’s arms, and Nigel is furiously jealous! Anna SMACKS Mariah off the apron, then grabs herself a chair, to SMACK Mariah with it legs first! Anna pushes Mariah into the ring, then goes up a corner. Mariah stands into Anna’s BLOCKBUSTER! The fans fire up as Anna keeps going, and she sits the chair up nearby. Anna drags Mariah up, but Mariah fires body shots! DDT onto the chair! Anna falls back while Mariah snarls. Mariah grabs the trash can and puts it around Anna! Mariah drums on the can, then goes to a corner.

Mariah climbs, Anna stands, and Mariah MISSILE DROPKICKS Anna down! Cover, TWO! Anna survives but Mariah just goes outside to look under the ring. The fans fire up in anticipation, and Mariah grins as she brings out a LADDER! Mariah pushes that ladder into the ring, stomps Anna around, then drags the ladder up. The ladder is propped up in a corner, then whips Anna, but Anna reverses! Mariah avoids hitting the ladder, but Anna has the QUEENSLAYER SLEEPER! Mariah flails, reaches out, but Anna hops on as a backpack! Only for Mariah to SENTON onto the ladder!

The fans fire up while both women are down, and Collision goes picture in picture.

Mariah sputters and coughs while she crawls to ropes. Mariah rolls out of the ring and hurries to look under the ring again. Mariah brings out a new chair, but Anna has brought out one of her own! They each slide the chairs in, and then they add more chairs! And more chairs! So many chairs! They both storm in, armed with chairs, and they CLASH! Mariah is disarmed, so Anna SMACKS her down! Anna goes for her duffel bag! Anna brings out… a crowbar, a wrench, wire, a chain, but she wants the PRYBAR! Mariah ROCKS Anna first, then THRWOS her down onto the chairs! Mariah stomps Anna, then sees all the goodies Anna brought!

Mariah picks up the strap! Mariah LASHES Anna, LASHES her again, but that just pisses Anna off! Anna blocks the shot, ROCKS Mariah, then LASHES her on the back! And LASHES her again! Mariah flounders, Anna kicks things aside to then stomp Mariah down. Anna drags Mariah up to suplex her onto the chairs! Mariah writhes but Anna covers, TWO!! Mariah stays in this, but that just means more pain! Anna stalks Mariah and DIGS the prybar into her ribs! Mariah kicks Anna away, then fires forearms! Anna eggs Mariah on, so Mariah KNEES her down! Cover, TWO! Anna toughs it out as Collision returns to single picture.

Mariah drags Anna up, for a SAIDO! Mariah then positions chairs before she fireman’s carries Anna. MADAY on a chair! Cover, TWO!?! Anna survives and Mariah is furious! Mariah grits her teeth as she drags Anna up and reels her in. Anna fights free, kicks low, then has the Gory Especial! GORY BOMB onto the ladder!! The ladder doesn’t break but Mariah’s face might have! Cover, TWO!! The Vendetta is still watching, and while Taya is very animated, Deonna is very stoic. Anna goes out to look under the ring. Albany gets what they want because here comes a TABLE! Anna brings this up to a TLC as she pushes the table into the ring.

Anna hurries in to set the table up while Mariah crawls and cries in pain. Anna has the table set just right, but she stomps Mariah first. Anna bumps Mariah off the buckles, then hoists her up top. Anna ROCKS Mariah, climbs up after her, and the fans fire up as she aims for the table. Mariah fires body shots first! Mariah bumps Anna off buckles, then SUPSER SUNSET FLIP POWERBOMBS through the table!! Cover, TWO?!?! Anna survives and Mariah cannot believe it! But this is what winning the title with no safety net means for Anna! Mariah goes out, looks under the ring, and she brings out spare railing!?

Mariah pushes the railing into the ring, but she also brings some chairs over. Mariah sets the chairs up before she props the railing up like a ramp. Mariah adds more chairs, but Anna hits a BACKSTABBER first! Both women are down again, but Anna grabs herself some chairs. Anna finishes the project Mariah was working on, and the railing is now a platform! Anna drags Mariah over but Mariah HEADBUTTS first! Mariah then puts Anna on the railing, and looks to go through with her plan all along! The fans fire up as Mariah climbs, but Anna trips her up first! Anna climbs up, and she has Mariah on the very top! SUPERPLEX on the railing!!!

The fans lose their minds as both women are wrecked on the steel bars! Nigel can’t bear to watch the replay! The fans declare, “This is Awesome!” Mariah rises up, but Anna flops out of the ring. Anna finds some BARBED WIRE! Anna looks to relive one of her highlights as she wraps the wire around her arm! Anna stalks Mariah, and has the BARBED WIRE QUEENSLAYER on!!! Mariah suffers and the fans say Anna is sick! Anna doesn’t care, she wants to be champion! Mariah fades, but she uses HAIR SPRAY IN THE EYES!! Mariah is free, and she reels Anna in, STORM ZERO on a chair!! Cover, Mariah wins!!

Winner: Mariah May, by pinfall (still AEW Women’s World Champion)

Taya is upset but Deonna says it’s alright. Anna and Mariah pushed each other to their limits, but also to some dark places. The Glamour is still atop the AEW Women’s Division, and here comes Mina! Best friends get to celebrate Mariah’s victory, and then Mariah KICKS ANna in the side! Mina says no, Mariah, you already did enough! Mariah accepts that, and BREAKING NEWS from Tony Khan: Now that Mariah has retained her title, she and Mina will have their championship champagne celebration for Full Gear! Will no one ever stop Mariah’s reign of glamour?

Jon Moxley speaks.

The Maniac is with Marina Shafir in the parking lot as he says, “I’ve underestimated Orange Cassidy. I’ve pushed him in the ring before, but this sport’s about so much more than what goes on between the ropes. I thought when I broke Chuck Taylor’s neck, one of two things would happen: Either he would turn into a shaky puddle of tears, and I’d walk right over him; or he’d be backed into a corner and he’s snap back, bringing the animal out of Orange Cassidy. Neither of those two things happened, and now I see it for the first time. I don’t think he even went to the hospital with Chuck Taylor.

“He acts like he’s so sad, and that young Wheeler’s traveled down a path he doesn’t approve of, but he doesn’t care. He’s full of it. Now I see it for the first time. I can’t believe I didn’t see it before. Orange Cassidy is a snake. Cold-blooded, reptilian, unnerved. The test will be this Wednesday, when you face your beloved former student who you claim to care about. Will you strike with venomous intent? Or will you keep it clean? Cold-blooded opponent, that is a different challenge entirely, this is gonna be harder than I thought. But man, I wish I was cold-blooded. But I’m not. No. I feel everything.

“Not just the weight of the AEW World Championship, but I feel the weight of the last five years. I feel the weight of the dreams and aspirations of every single wrestler who walks through these doors. I feel the weight of everybody’s mistakes and broken promises. I feel the weight of every single AEW fan who buys a ticket and pays for parking, and takes off work, and gives us their hard-earned money, and time, and energy, because AEW is something they believe in! What AEW could be! You don’t like the way I do things? November 23rd, you’re gonna have a chance.

“Lop my head off. Let it hit the dirt and roll at your feet. Reach down and pick up that crown, put it on your head. See if you like how it feels. At Full Gear, I smear Orange Cassidy’s blood on our flag, and I plant it in the ground so hard, it will never get moved. You wanna ride with me? You wanna ride in MY AEW? We ride into battle every single day to grab pro-wrestling by the balls, and you better be ready to die on your shield every single day! And if you’re not, get out. Or you will get taken out.” The Maniac has issued his ultimatum, will Freshly Squeezed heed it?

AEW Collision wraps with the November to Remember music video.

Set to November Rain by Guns ‘n’ Roses, we look back even as far as the last time Jon Moxley and Orange Cassidy feuded, which included their battle over the AEW International Championship at Full Gear 2023. There are also highlights to hype up the TNT Championship match of Jack Perry VS Daniel Garcia, and the long-awaited grudge match between Jay White and Hangman Page. Who will truly make this a November to Remember when they stand tall in the November rain?

My Thoughts:

A great Collision, and I forgot that this counts as the go-home Collision with Full Gear next week. The music video recap package to end the show is really well done, and makes a good ending moment, but then it makes other promos a little redundant. Honestly, why not wait to use this as the cold open to Full Gear next Saturday? This would be an awesome PPV opening video. And good closing promo from Moxley, with good spin on Cassidy’s aloof nature. Maybe Cassidy’s cold, or maybe he’s in control of his emotions. I suppose Cassidy VS Yuta on Dynamite will give some of that away.

Great stuff with the TNT Championship story. Garcia VS Johnny was a really good match, even with MXM getting involved. Perry abducting Menard in an attempt to tow him behind the bus was wild, but I like how Garcia turned the tables on Perry. I kinda wish we got a little more of their “joyride” through Albany and New York, but maybe we get more of that on Dynamite. Either way, it feels like Garcia already has the “standing tall” part of the go-home math, meaning he loses at Full Gear. Maybe Perry will cheat his way out of the match so that Garcia can still be strong in defeat.

Really good match from Shelton and Komander but of course Shelton won. Good promo from Hurt Syndicate with The Acclaimed to keep up the recruit tease, and very good match from Acclaimed VS LFI. Good win for The Acclaimed, and you can bet that the Fatal 4 Way will be the straw that breaks the camel’s back. Caster was even distancing himself in his own way here, with not wanting to scissor finger before the match and other little details. Caster can turn on Bowens and join the Hurt Syndicate to start on a singles championship story with them. Lio Rush likely will, too, given his promo.

Very good promo from Conglomeration to hype up Thanksgiving Eve and the ROH World Championship match of Ishii VS Jericho. Still doesn’t feel like Jericho’s losing, though, as he really only just got the title and there’s still this idea of Jericho being responsible for ROH getting a TV deal. Y’know, the same way he’s kayfabe responsible for Collision happening so that he could be on another show separate from… Whoever he was feuding with back then. Very good promo from Roddy to call out MJF, though he literally says he’ll talk more on Dynamite so what was the point of tonight? Just filling time?

Great match for Hobbs to get back on a winning track in singles action, and the “All Star 8 Man” on Wednesday will be great stuff. I feel like Brian Cage or Lance Archer takes the loss in that match, giving momentum to Ricochet and Ospreay going into each of the Full Gear grudge matches. With that, Ricochet maybe pulls off the International Championship win, but Ospreay probably does not win because of Don Callis Family cheating. As for Hobbs himself, The Continental Classic is coming, maybe he gets in on that and really dominates. Hobbs and Okada would be a lot of fun to see, I kinda hope we get that.

Great opener from Mina VS Harley as Harley continues to build her in-ring skill and impress. I like Mina kinda dodging the question about titles here in AEW, because she doesn’t wanna give away that she wants THE AEW Women’s World Championship. Mariah VS Anna was a great main event, they really busted out some good stuff. Mariah using the hair spray was a very clever way to turn things around and help her win. Mariah and Mina having their celebration on Full Gear, I feel like that’s the moment things go sideways in this friendship.

My Score: 8.8/10
