A big win for TJP & Akira, or perhaps a big loss for Taiji & Robbie. But bigger than that, this makes every team in B Block tied at 2-2 with 4 points! So no one is out of the running, but no one is a clear cut finalist! What does this mean for Bullet Club’s chances?
As for Catch 2/2, uh… What’s TJP doing with that weird LED mask? LED TJP says, “Buongiorno, Bruciare. <Good Evening, Burner.>” Akira appreciates TJP using some Italian. And then for the people of Toyama and Japan, TJP says, “IKU ZO! <Let’s go!>” TJP says nice to meet you, he’s Nova Fireball, Akira. TJP then takes the mask off to say, “Happy Halloween!” TJP then asks if everyone had a good time. The fans cheer because they sure did. TJP asks again if they had a good time, and the fans cheer louder! “Okay desu.” TJP then hands the mic to Akira, and Akira tells Toyama, “We’re a bit beat up.” The fans applaud, they understand.
Akira says this is the second time Catch 2/2 is closing out the night just this tour, and Akira’s starting to like it. The fans cheer, they like it, too. Akira admits, Catch 2/2 had a losing streak there. But with this win, they still have a chance to move on to the finals! No, more than a chance! Catch 2/2 absolutely WILL move on to the finals! The fans cheer that! Akira tells the fans, “All eyes on us. We’ll keep moving forward until we reach the Tokyo Dome!” The fans cheer that, and Akira switches to Italian to again say they are moving on to the finals. That’s all for today, “Ijo desu!”
The fans cheer, and Catch 2/2 pose, TJP again wearing the mask. The block is still up for grabs, so will the Public Enemy & The Nova Fireball take hold of their future with their own hands?
Here are the NEW B Block standings!
The VeloCities: 2-2, 4 points
Intergalactic Jet Setters: 2-2, 4 points
Catch 2/2: 2-2, 4 points
Ninja Mack & The DKC: 2-2, 4 points
YOH & Rocky Romero: 2-2, 4 points
Taiji Ishimori & Robbie X: 2-2, 4 points
My Thoughts:
A great night for B Block, and what a wild traffic jam we now have! Everyone at 2-2, I didn’t think they’d ever pull this, but they did. This makes B Block very interesting in round 5 because I can’t even begin to figure out who has the tiebreakers over who in whatever situation we’re talking. I just know it was all great stuff, great results, great showing for VeloCities and the Mack-DKC in winning over tag team champions past and present.
My Score: 8.9/10

Andrew’s TNA iMPACT! Results & Match Results: 10.31.2024
Coming off Bound For Glory, most of us got a lot of news of injuries to Vikingo and Chris Bey. Both men are fine and starting their rehab, so we can focus on exactly what TNA decides to do moving towards Turning Point.
Well damn, I know its Halloween, but an ambulance wasn’t on the tapings cards…but tell that to TNA. Vikingo and Chris Bey suffered injuries during tapings, so I’m not sure how the next few shows will present and/or what will have to pivot with two potential big players on the shelf for a while. It goes without saying that I wish them as much speed in healing possible, but knowing that they are both “fine” and starting their paths to recovery, I can compartmentalize and wonder how the dominos will fall on the shows leading to Turning Point.
Bound For Glory gave us a few things to chew on, JBL’s involvement with Nemeth, Hendry getting the Tetsuya Naito treatment, Hardyz back on top in 2024, Masha being the new Tsarina of the Knockouts Division and Speedball finding a new level of aggression to make you wonder how babyface he’ll be staying moving into 2025. So that should be some of the major wrinkles to iron out moving forward…let’s see where everything goes!

Results:
Frankie Kazarian walks out to Hendry’s music and in full Joe Hendry cosplay. He’s even doing the whole entrance including the turn. He even does a…bad Scottish accent, sounds more like South African, but even if it’s not an Aunty Donna skit, its still funny. Kaz Hendry calls Hendry a loser, choker and makes fun of him in classic cosplay style. Reminds me of Mr Anderson doing Surfer Sting, or Kevin Nash and his Arn Anderson promo. This stuff is cheesy but funny. Real Hendry of course cuts it off eventually, they do the Spiderman meme for a bit and then Hendry cuts a retort promo. Hendry starts joking with Kaz a little and claims that Kaz and JBL screwed things up and Nemeth is involved somehow.
Nemeth’s music hits, he cuts it short and comes out to claim he has nothing to do with the JBL stuff. Nemeth does the fighting Champion Babyface thing and says Hendry deserves a rematch because he’s denying being in cahoots. Kaz is just having fun on the outside. AND NOW ALISHA COMES OUT! “DO YOU WANNA KNO SUMTHIIIN??” no music, just Alisha and her crop top interrupt the segment. Oh Dango and Eddie are there too…but I know what I’m paying attention to. Eddie and Dango say typical heel things, Nemeth gets sick of it, offers a tag match of Dango & Eddie vs Hendry & Nemeth. Kaz walks in the ring and says they should make it a 6 Man, he’ll tag with them too (still in full South African Hendry gimmick). Nemeth Superkicks Kaz, Hendry Standing Ovation, and Kaz is left laying as we cut to commercial.
Coming back, Lish is still running her mouth, now about Masha. Masha comes out to fight them both, Jordynne makes the save once the numbers start to work against Masha. Santino comes out, makes the Knockouts tag official for next week and officially confirms the JDC & Eddie vs Hendry & Nemeth match.
First Cla$$ (KC Navarro & AJ Francis) vs The Rascalz (Trey Miguel & Zachary Wentz)
Oh look it’s been 30 minutes but finally a match!
First spot is a Tilt-a-Whirl Headscissors that is a touchy janky, but nothing egregious. Rascalz pull off the old High Speed Dirt from MCMG and do the MCMG pose for the reference. Navarro tries the Spiderman taunt in the middle of the ropes, Wentz Dropkicks him, goes for a Dive but AJ Low Bridges so Wentz goes crashing. Navarro hits the Tope con Hilo, looks smooth, blind tag from AJ as KC flies, AJ continues the offense, Tennessee Whiskey into the tag to Navarro for a near fall. Snapmare into Double Stomp for Navarro, and Wentz stays on the receiving end of the beat down.
Wentz tries to fight back, AJ grabs the hair and drags him back down, goes for a Senton but misses, so Wentz tags out, hot tag to Trey. Sliding Kick, Sliding Meteora for KC, tandem chopping down into a Swanton from Wentz for two. Superkick party between KC and Wentz until Wentz takes them both out with the Running Crossbody. Trey goes to the top, looks for the Diving Meteora, but Navarro crotches Trey, Avalanche Down Payment from AJ and First Cla$$ wins!
Eric Young, Steve Maclin & Jonathan Gresham vs Josh Alexander, Jason Hotch & John Skyler
You know, at least Hotch has talent. So The Good Hands are an upgrade over generic indie white boys version 8921581929 that are normally part of the Northern Armoury.
The match immediately begins in picture in picture…and that’s not terrible since I think we all know much won’t happen in the early goings. Nice to see a well times ad break for the first time in months. Gresham starts and makes the Good Hands look like idiots. Joint Locks, quick spots, Leap Frog’s Skyler so he Spears Hotch. Just general toying with idiots until Josh decides to get involved with a shortcut right as we’re coming back and Josh tags in to stomp on Gresham in the corner. Drop Toe Hold, Thrust Kick into Hotch tagging in and hitting the Rolling Outside In Neckbreaker for a two.
I’ll be honest, I zoned out during this match. Nothing is important about this match, the Good Hands are job guys, and the fact that Skyler eats the Caught in Crosshairs and KIA for the pinfall…no one is surprised. This was such a filler match, I enjoyed doom scrolling more than whatever happened.

Dani Luna w/Jody Threat vs ASH by Elegance w/Personal Concierge & Heather by Elegance
This has been a very wrestling light episode, not sure if its because of the injuries from tapings, but this ain’t a great start for building momentum into 2025.
Slow start with ASH trying to lock a few moves but Dani just shrugging her off. Dani is thiccer than a King Sized Snickers, and I love watching her bully people. She throws ASH around, Heather tries to interfere and grab ASH’s hands to pull her out, but Dani pulls them both in. ASH slips away, Dani chases, Concierge gets in the way and gives ASH the chance to Drop Toe Hold Dani into the steps. A little bit of a back and forth, Dani tries the Luna Landing, ASH gets away, Dani connects with a Shotgun Kick. Dani goes to the corner after, ASH tries something but gets Blue Thunder Bombed to hell. Dani then decides Snap German Suplexes are on the menu, then goes for the Outside In from the Apron German Suplex but Heather hits Dani with a broom while the Concierge distracts the ref, ASH hits the Rarefied Air and ASH WINS!
At least this match did what it needed to. It sets the stage for the Elegance Clique to challenge Spitfire for those inane belts. But even if I think the belts are useless, they need to build a story for them…I suppose.
Lei Ying Lee vs Maggie Moore
Well at least they’re giving Lei another job match, so hopefully they can build her momentum as opposed to the useless inclusion of her in the Gauntlet. Lei blocks Moore’s Hip Toss and turns it into an Twisting Overdrive Headscissor Driver. Even if it wasn’t supposed to be a driver, is was great looking. Sole Butt into a Double Jump Crossbody, then connects with Thunderstruck for the win.
Savanna Evans marches down the ramp, Big Boot to Lei and hits her with the Full Nelson Bomb. So Lei Ying Lee gets her introductory feud. Could be a fun combination since Savanna is pretty solid. Only real problem here is this match looked lame and when the Flipping Headscissor Driver was more impressive than her expected finish, the optics are weird at best.

Joe Hendry & Nic Nemeth vs Eddie Edwards & JDC w/Alisha Edwards
Oh Kaz comes out in his normal gimmick, no longer South African Hendry. He’s coming to the announce table and honestly, Kaz, Hannifan an Rehwoldt are a fun 3 man booth in doses.
Dango dorkball starts with Hendry, he does the Stalling Vertical suplex with ease, toys with JDC, tags in Nemeth for a quick tandem move and then Nemeth just goes for close to the corner deliberate arm offense. Lots of close clinch offense, Abdominal Stretches, Arm Wringers, basic Suplexes, quick tags between Nemeth and Hendry. The “main event duo with tension” is working like a well oiled machine. We come back from Picture in Picture to Dolph hitting a Rude Awakening, into the 10 Count Shot to the Heart Elbows.
Nemeth looks to tune up the band and our beautiful orator Lish picks an ankle. This allows JDC a cheapshot and a quick double team from JDC and Eddie before JDC tags out and Eddie works over Nemeth. Nemeth sells the NOAH Chop in the corner like he got hit with a Frying Pan. Eddie tags in JDC, tandem attack of the Fulcrum and Slingshot Elbow double team, so JDC is keeping the offense in. JDC goes for the Harlem Hangover, and MISSES! Slow build tag spot, simultaneous tags and Hendry is in! Sack of Shits for everyone! Kip Up, Pops the crowd and looks for the Standing Ovation but gets cut off. System try a double team but Hendry does the ole counter Double Clothesline.
Hendry tags in Nemeth, Fame ASSer but JDC breaks it up. Hendry shoves JDC out, turns around and sees Eddie, tries to Lariat Eddie but Eddie ducks and he takes out Nic. Boston Knee Party, SYSTEM WINS!
Overall Score: 6/10
Well given the troubles they had at the previous taping and the fact that most people who watch will be aware, I think it warrants a touch of leniency. Yes plenty of the matches did absolutely nothing or weren’t worth the time watching. But a lot of the threads that god sown this week were setting up for the future. Dissension with Nemeth and Hendry, the next Knockout Tag contenders, Lei Ying Lee’s first feud, Santana gunning for the title, Kaz being an unabashed douche and completely knocking it out of the park, and Moose going for the X Division Title next week. Moose cashing in Option C, while Kaz has the Gauntlet Trophy feels like the perfect shenanigans we could look forward too. Just imagine if they do Feast or Fired for Thanksgiving…5 man…King of the Mountain match at Hard to Kill, maybe? MAAAYBE?

The Righteous speak.
Good Ol’ Dutch says, “Promises. They’re just like stained glass: beautiful, until shattered. And when it comes to The Righteous, we can’t even count the number of scars we have on our bodies from crawling and reaching through, just to break through without getting cut.” Vincent says, “Scars. Let’s talk about scars, man. We all have that one scar that reminds us of the one thing, and the scar that stands out the most to us are the ROH World Tag Team Championships. Because it should’ve happened a long time ago. We know it, and everybody else knows it. But now… Sammy, Dustin… Dustin, what I see is a man enjoying the rest of his career.
“And on the other side, Sammy’s over here, let’s face it, just getting started. He’s got the beautiful family, and what does a man with a beautiful family do? He’s selfish. Selfish for himself and his family. And Dustin, as far as I can tell, you’re not family. There’s a lot of snakes slithering through in this industry. Except here, they don’t pick long enough grass to hide in. So I can see them all slithering through my toes, I can feel them. And Dustin, you, my friend, are holding a venomous snake on your side. The question to you is, what happens when a venomous snake bites you?” Dutch says, “The Righteous become ROH World Tag Team Champions!”
The Righteous laugh, and Vinnie asks if you dig what he’s saying. Are they right? Is Sammy just a snake?
JD Drake & BEEF VS Preston Vance & “Pretty” Peter Avalon!
While Anthony Henry is out, the other Workhorseman made a return to support Henry’s second cousin by marriage. It didn’t work out given La Faccion Ingobernable beat them both down, but surely they’ll rebound from Rampage here tonight. Will Scrap Metal be able to work with Beef? Or will Perro Peligroso & Pretty Peter prove they’re a powerful pair?
The Code of Honor is upheld between Beef and Vance, and the fans rally for “Beef! Beef!” at the bell. Beef and Vance circle, tie up, and they go around. Beef headlocks, but Vance powers up and out. They RAM shoulders, and neither man falls! Vance admits, that’s some beef. Beef fires the fans up, and he gets moving again. Beef RAMS Vance, but Vance doesn’t budge! Beef dares Vance to go, so Vance runs, and RAMS Beef! Beef staggers but he stays up! The fans rally up, Beef talks a bit of smack, then runs. Vance drops, but Beef cartwheels past him, to DROPKICK! The fans fire up, Beef whips, but Vance reverses to reel Beef in!
Vance suplexes, and he holds Beef up! The fans fire up and JD pleads to put Beef down slowly. Vance SLAMS Beef down! The fans fire up and Vance takes a bow. Vance bumps Beef off buckles, then tags Avalon. Avalon sends Vance in at Beef to LARIAT, then Vance feeds Beef to a DROPKICK! Cover, ONE!! Beef is tough but Vance brings him up. Beef pushes Avalon away and tags in JD! Beef says, “Get ’em, cousin!” JD reminds Beef, Henry is his cousin. Avalon is stunned, it is a reunion of former Wingmen! Avalon offers a pinky, JD holds his pinky up, and the fans cheer. Pinky touch for respect! And then JD CHOPS Avalon!
The fans cheer while Avalon is stinging. JD puts Avalon in the corner to CHOP again! Avalon dodges the next one to COHP, CHOP, and CHOP! JD shoves Avalon, Avalon dodges, and Avalon BOOTS JD! Avalon runs to ELBOW! JD staggers, Avalon runs up to DROPKICK! JD stays up, Avalon runs up, and JD FLAPJACK HOTSHOTS! HAYMAKER for Vance! The fans fire up and JD drags Avalon up. JD bumps Avalon off buckles, and tells Beef to pay attention. CHOP! Tag to Beef and Beef gives Avalon a CHOP! The fans “WOO~!” and Beef brings Avalon around. Beef snap suplexes, then runs to SPLASH DOWN! Cover, TWO!
Beef drags Avalon up, whips him in, and runs up to SPLASH! JD tags in, and JD says they gotta coordinate. Beef sends Avalon into JD’s LARIAT! JD then slingshots to SENTON! The fans fire up and JD says thumbs down to the pinkies! Beef fires up but JD tells him to stay in the corner. Beef nods and apologizes, and JD drags Avalon up. Avalon fires body shots, but JD ROCKS Avalon! Tag to Beef, and JD tells Beef to not screw up. JD whips Beef in, but Avalon ELBOWS Beef! JD runs up, but Avalon DUMPS him out! It isn’t the cleanest and JD is furious because now his bad foot is bothering him.
Beef grabs Avalon for a back suplex, but Avalon lands out! Hot tag to Vance! Vance LARIATS Beef, LARIATS again, then BOOTS JD off the apron! Beef runs up but Vance ELBOWS him away! Vance goes up, FLYING SHOULDER TACKLE! JD is back but Vance dodges him, to hit a BIG back suplex! Beef is up, but Vance hits a SPINEBUSTER! Vance flexes and the fans fire up! Tribute to Mr. Brodie, but Beef ducks the lariat! Vance ELBOWS Beef, resets, DISCUS LARIAT! Cover, JD breaks it! Avalon SUPERKICKS JD! Vance tells Avalon to go tot he corner. Vance tags Avalon in, and Avalon BOOTS Beef!
Vance winds up, but Beef ducks and the DISCUS hits Avalon! Beef TOSSES Vance, JD gives him a rebound HAYMAKER! Beef hits Avalon with the SLOPPY STEAKS! JD hits the ANARCHY! Beef is up top, for the KENTUCKY MEAT SHOWER!! Cover, BEEF & JD WIN!
Winners: JD Drake & BEEF, by pinfall
They may not be cousins, they may not be The Workhorsemen, but they ARE winners! The fans love it, but it seems JD may still need some convincing. Will Beef quite literally win over JD & Henry if this keeps up?
ROH shares The Learning Tree’s message from Fright Night Dynamite.
Chris Jericho smiles while Bryan Keith scowls and “Big Bill” Morrissey speaks. “As The Learning Tree always says, ‘Teamwork makes the dream work. But the dream will not work unless the team works together.’” Jericho waves and says, “Hi, guys~! And welcome to All Hallows’ Eve. That means The Night Before Halloween. Hahaha.” And last week in Ladder War, the match that The Wrestling Observer said would be remembered for a long, long time, a ladder match that THE Dave Meltzer gave four stars to, Jericho became the ROH World Champion a second team. Just like Jay Briscoe!
And that also makes Jericho a nine-time world champion, fulfilling the prophecy of him becoming The Nueve. Now, Jericho could not have done this without The Bad Apple, The Redwood, and all of his Branches watching at home, and here in Cinc- Er, Cleveland. But this is so much more than about winning the title. Jericho thinks big picture. Just like how Terrifier 3, the movie he costarred in and quarterbacked, became the number one movie in America… Just like AEW itself becoming a pro-wrestling powerhouse, with all due respect to Jon Moxley but mostly because of Jericho, Jericho will do the same for ROH.
Jericho will take ROH to the biggest stage and the biggest success it has ever seen. How will he do that? Because he is Chris Jericho and he just can. And if you are underestimating Chris Jericho, then you are overestimating your knowledge and understanding of the TV and pro-wrestling business. Keith says, “NEVER underestimate Chris Jericho, you bunch o’ dumbasses!” Jericho says what he will do is let everyone reach down between their legs, ease their seats back, and enjoy the ride. Jericho is taking ROH and all of us to places you’ve never, ever been before. Thanks, guys~! The fans are torn, but will this new era of “Ring of Jericho” really be the biggest and brightest yet?
MXM Collection speaks.
“Chaos. Control. Smooth. Coarse. Nimble. Lethargic. Coming. Going. Opposites attract. With disparity comes tension. And with tension comes release. All this and more can be yours with the MXM Collection Fall Line. Now available at Show AEW.”
Dustin Rhodes & Sammy Guevara speak.
The Spanish God tells The Righteous that they saw the little speech, and The Righteous were both right and wrong about Sammy. He has an absolutely beautiful family, a beautiful baby girl at home, and there is nothing he won’t do to provide for them. He is selfish when it comes to providing for them, and these tag titles mean more money, so The Righteous is trying to take food off Sammy’s plate. So imagine what he’ll do to you! But you are so wrong when you say Dustin is not family. There is nothing Sammy won’t do for Dustin. All In London, Sammy had Dustin’s back. Bunkhouse Brawl, Sammy had Dustin’s back.
And Sammy will have Dustin’s back when it comes to beating the hell outta The Righteous. The Natural tells Vincent & Dutch that Sammy is a lot nicer than Dustin. One: Keep any family’s name out of your mouths, it is no good. And you wanna call yourselves The Righteous? Are you morally righteous? No, absolutely not! And talking about snakes, Dustin is from Austin, Texas! They eat rattlesnakes for a living! And Dustin’s been bit by a snake before. What do you do with a bad snake? You chop the head off! So if The Righteous want a shot at the ROH World Tag Team Championships, they’ve got it.
But listen up. Dustin knows The Righteous also have a match tonight. So Dustin & Sammy will be paying very close attention to it. Because The Righteous are the snakes trying to do something Dustin has done his entire career, and that’s mind games. You ain’t got it! Dustin sees through the crap, so see you tonight. Challenge accepted, but will ol’ Dutch & Vincent show what kind of fight The Sons of Texas are in for?
Pure Rules: Matt Taven VS Aaron Solo!
One of the ONLY Grand Slam Champions in ROH history is looking to add on to his legacy, because he’s never held the Pure Championship. Will we be reminded that HEEEEE’S Matt Taven? Or will The Extra Talented prove himself worthy of his first title opportunity?
The Code of Honor is not upheld by Solo, but Taven says he didn’t want it anyway. The bell rings, we’re on the clock, and the two circle. The two tie up, Taven wrenches an arm, and wristlocks. Solo slips through, wrenches, and headlocks. Solo calls Taven a Melvin, but Taven wrenches out to a hammerlock. Solo goes to the ROPEBREAK, and the ref counts it. But Solo gets a cheap shot in! The fans boo but Solo grins as the worst that happens is Solo is down a ropebreak. Solo stomps Taven in a corner, whips him corner to corner, but Taven goes up and over. Taven keeps moving, he slides under to then DROPKICK!
The fans cheer, and Taven reminds Solo, “IIIII’M Matt Taven!” Solo storms up, Taven and Solo circle again. They feel things out, and Taven waistlocks. Taven powers Solo to ropes but Solo bucks the O’Conner. Solo runs up, but Taven arm-drags! Taven has the armlock, wrangles Solo around, shift to a ghost pin, TWO! Solo escapes but Taven is right back on him. Taven wrenches, wristlocks, but he ducks Solo’s haymaker to RUSSIAN LEG SWEEP! We’re at two minutes as the fans rally up. Taven runs, goes up, but Solo CHOP BLOCKS Taven in ropes! The fans boo while Taven flounders, but Solo rains down forearms!
Solo says, “IIIII’M Aaron Solo!” Fans boo but Solo stomps Taven around. Solo sits Taven up to KNEE him in the back. Solo flexes, stalks Taven to a corner, and KICKS! And stomps, stomps, stomps! Solo digs his boot in, but lets off as the ref counts. The fans boo Solo but he soaks it up. But Taven kicks low! And CHOPS! But Solo KICKS the bad leg! Solo continues to taunt Taven and mock his catchphrase. Solo drops a knee on the knee, then brings Taven up. Solo whips Taven into a corner, but Taven ELBOWS back! Solo comes back, but Taven BOOTS him! Taven runs up, Solo dodges, and mule kicks!
Solo whips, Taven LARIATS! And ELBOWS! And HEEL KICKS! The fans fire up but Taven hobbles. Solo swings, Taven ducks to kick, KICK and DDT! The fans fire up more and Taven springboards, KICK O’ THE KING! Cover, TWO! Taven clamps on JUST FACELOCK! Solo flails, reaches out, ROPEBREAK! That’s the second and the fans boo. Taven argues, but he drags Solo up. CLI- NO, Solo powers out! But Taven avoids the Dreamcast to step over, THE CLIMAX! Cover, ROPEBREAK!! Solo survives using his third and final, and we’re at five minutes! Taven is frustrated, but that was just a miscalculation.
Taven storms up, but Solo YANKS him into ropes! DREAMCAST KICK! Cover, TWO!! Taven doesn’t even use the ropes, despite how close they were. Solo is frustrated but he climbs a corner. Solo aims, leaps, but Taven catches him! Taven wrangles Solo into the FLATLINER, and JUST FACELOCK! Solo TAPS, Taven wins!
Winner: Matt Taven, by submission
In just under six minutes, and with no ropebreaks used, Taven gets his first Pure Division win! And then the Pure Champion, Lee Moriarty, appears on stage. He tells Taven if this is what he’s after, that’s a mistake. Taven tells Moriarty he has one belt left before ROH Bingo. Moriarty doesn’t take that seriously, will #TAIGASTYLE humble the ROH Grand Slam Champion?
Backstage interview with JD Drake & BEEF.
Lexy Nair is with The Workhorseman and his teammate’s second cousin by marriage, and Lexy loves the instant chemistry! They may have only just met, but it was like they’ve been teaming for years. JD wants to refute that but Beef says the chemistry is real because they’re family! JD shouts at Beef, and is very frazzled as he asks Beef what he’s even doing. Has Beef lost his mind? Lexy is holding an interview, and Beef’s all on JD, grabbing him. And Beef is the wettest, sweatiest human on earth, Henry was right about that. JD wants Beef to realize, they’re not family. What? But JD, you’re the tag partner to Beef’s second cousin. Seems that’s enough for Beef.
And speaking of, Beef tells Henry that they’re thinking of him, that they love him, and that they want him to get back here, so they hope he gets well soon. JD says it is second cousin by marriage, Henry has said that much. But while JD doesn’t even know where Beef is from, but that’s not how cousins work anyway! That’s not how family works! That’s not how relations work! JD is not on Beef’s family tree or vice versa! But they could be… JD says it’s fine, he still likes Beef, he is okay. A little rambunctious, but otherwise okay. So listen, Beef. Beef will be alright, but please, tone it down just a little bit.
Beef already revs up as he says he can’t tone it down. He just can’t, JD! Cuz he’s BEEF! There’s nobody like him! Except maybe Cousin JD. JD is NOT Beef’s cousin! JD asks what Anthony got him into. JD heads out, Beef hurries after his “cousin,” will the Workhorsemen ever get used to Beef?
The Righteous VS Jay Marston & Solomon Tupu!
The challenge was issued and the challenge was accepted, so this match goes from Dutch & Vincent proving themselves worthy to them tuning up. Will these wolves in sheep’s clothing make quick work of these appetizers before going for the main course?
The teams sort out, and Vinnie snaps his fingers while pacing around. Vinnie then spins around to LARIAT Marston! So much for the Code of Honor… Vincent then puts Marston in the corner, tags Dutch, and Dutch sends Marston into a KNEE! Short arm LARIAT! Dutch holds on to sit Marston up, and Vinnie BASEMENT FLATLINERS! Dutch tells Cedar Rapids that death walks tonight. Tag to Vinnie, The Righteous surround Marston, but here comes Tupu! Tupu LARIATS Dutch, but Dutch doesn’t budge! Tupu can’t quite understand, so he runs again. Dutch hits a BIG BOSS MAN SLAM! Then Vinnie hoists Marston up.
Vinnie fireman’s carries Marston, Dutch fireman’s carries Vinnie, DOUBLE DEATH VALLEY! Cover, The Righteous win!
Winners: The Righteous, by pinfall
Sammy & Dustin said they would be watching this very closely, so hopefully they learned something. Wait, The Righteous aren’t done! Vinnie grabs a chair, and Dutch brings the railroad block! Dutch puts the block between Tupu’s legs and holds them all together! Vinnie CHAIR SHOTS Tupu’s legs! Tupu writhes in misery, but here come Dustin & Sammy! The Sons of Texas run out but The Righteous run away! Will Dutch & Vinnie put Dustin & Sammy on the chopping block next? Or will The Righteous pay for their own sins?
Dustin & Sammy regroup backstage.
The Natural is furious as he says, “There is nothing righteous about the SH*T you just pulled! That man out there, that kid, had an opportunity of a lifetime, and you tried to put him out of the business for good by hobbling him., Well now you have my attention!” But then The Righteous attacks from behind! They CLOBBER Dustin, and they put the block between Sammy’s legs! But Dustin CLOBBERS Dutch! Vincent SMACKS Dustin with the chair! Vinnie tells Dustin that no one can hurt us more than we hurt ourselves. This should’ve happened a long time ago. The Righteous should’ve been champions a long time ago! Dig what he’s saying?
Refs tell them to get out of here, Vinnie snaps his fingers as he and Dutch leave. The title match is still to come, but will Dustin & Sammy put The Righteous down for good?
ROH Rewind – Jay Lethal VS Curry Man w/ Allison Danger!
It was October 29th, 2005, ROH This Means War, when Black Machismo took on Christopher Daniels’ good friend. He’s hot, he’s spicy, and he tastes great, but was he more dangerous than Lethal?
