Tatum Paxley speaks.
“You’ll find out later what happened at Halloween Havoc, because right now, Wendy Choo takes her final ride.” Twisted Tatum is all dressed up as Alice Lidell, will she make sure the madness returns? Or will the Sleepy Psycho turned Sally the ragdoll put this one to bed once and for all?
Casket Match: Tatum Paxley VS Wendy Choo!
The bell rings and Wendy swings her body pillow! Tatum dodges, and fires haymakers on Wendy! Tatum whips, Wendy reveres but Tatum DROPKICKS! Wendy flounders close to the casket, but she ELBOWS and LARIATS back! But Tatum kips up! Tatum ENZIGIRIS and Wendy flounders. Tatum drags Wendy up, TOSSES her, but Wendy stays on the apron. Wendy RAMS into Tatum, shovels her up and out, but Tatum waistlocks Wendy! Wendy holds onto ropes, then ELBOWS Tatum again. Wendy gets some space, but Tatum blocks a kick to THROW Wendy down! Wendy flops to the floor, Tatum CANNONBALLS onto her!
The fans fire up for Tatum and she lines up another shot. Tatum runs up, Wendy BOOTS her back! Wendy finds a trash can! But Tatum RAMS her low! Tatum takes that can, puts it around Wendy, and she wags her finger. Tatum brings out a broom! Time to get wicked as she SMACKS away on the can! The fans cheer, Tatum SMACKS Wendy again and now fans want tables. Tatum puts Wendy in the ring, throws the trash can into the ring, and the fans rally up again. Tatum wedges the can into a corner, then runs up on Wendy. Tatum CROSSBODIES, then hauls Wendy up! Torture rack SLAM! Wendy flounders to the trash can corner!
Tatum runs up, but Wendy ducks! Tatum’s crossbody hits trash can! Wendy grabs the can, turns it around, and she scoops Tatum. Wendy dumps Tatum into the trash, it’s a modified Tree of Woe! Wendy goes corner to corner and back again, to DROPKICK the can! Tatum flops out of the Tree while the fans fire up, and NXT goes to break.
NXT returns and Tatum’s dollhouse is in a corner. Wendy whips but Tatum stops her short. Tatum mule kicks Wendy, whips her in, but Wendy stops herself. Tatum runs up, but Wendy HIP TOSSES her into the dollhouse! The fans go nuts as Tatum flops back, and then (what’s left of) the dollhouse falls onto her! Wendy drags Tatum over, shoves her into the casket, but Tatum uses the pillow to wedge the door open! Wendy is furious, she and Tatum tug-o-war over the pillow! They get in the ring as they fight over the pillow, and Wendy kicks low. Wendy SAMCKS Tatum with the pillow, and then she opens up the pillowcase!
Wendy reveals that pillow is stuffed full of LEGOS! And if you think stepping on one is bad… BUBBA- NO, Tatum fights to pump handle! Wendy fights out, Tatum avoids one elbow but not the other! Wendy has Tatum again, FULL NELSON SLAM on the Legos!! The fans are thunderous for “NXT! NXT!” while both women are down. A quick picture in picture shows William Regal helping Lexis King prepare for the Heritage Cup Championship match. Back in the ring, “This is Awesome!” as Wendy TOSSES Tatum into the casket! But Tatum uses her powerful legs to block the lid! Tatum BOOTS the casket back open, but Wendy KICKS her back down!

Winner: Tatum Paxley
Tatum has the last laugh on wicked Wendy, and makes history as the first woman to win a casket match! Will she soon be “playing” with even better “toys,” such as a championship?
Trick Williams is here!
The fans fire up as he is STILL Tricky Two-Time Two-Time, and he gets the mic to copy Booker T. “What? Huh? Yeah! I like it!” Trick says straight to business, they went to Halloween Havoc on Sunday, he walked through The Devil’s Playground, washed his hands with holy water, then beat the Hell outta Ethan Page to retain the title! But he ain’t gonna lie, he is in pain right now. Ethan Page told everybody that he was gonna put Trick through pain he never felt before, and he felt that. But what Ethan didn’t tell him was that Ridge Holland would come out to jump him after the match. Let’s talk about it.
There’s one reason why Trick isn’t in the hospital right now. HBK invited the man out tonight, so Trick needs to talk to the WWE Hall of Famer himself. Please welcome to NXT, Bubba Ray Dudley! The fans fire up as Bubba makes his way to the ring! Bubba says he really has done it all now. Bubba joins Trick in the ring, and Trick says before Bubba gets started, Trick has to say thank you for having his back. Trick appreciates that. Bubba says Trick doesn’t have to thank him. Bubba was doing the right thing. It wasn’t even so much about Trick as it was about Ridge. It was about Ridge Holland and the disrespect that he showed towards Bubba, to Dave LaGreca, and to Busted Open Radio.
Ridge was disrespectful on the preshow, on the main show, and Bubba has to say, there is one thing he noticed. He watched Trick’s match life, defending his championship on The Devil’s Playground, and getting his hand raised. Bubba hears the people in Hershey cheering for Trick, “Whoop Dat Trick.” The fans chant it here now. Bubba says as Trick gets beat down, Bubba looks to the ramp. Where’s the help for Trick Williams? Where are his friends? A cameraman! Anyone! Not one man came to Trick’s aid, and does Trick know why? The reason why is because of the NXT Championship itself.
The reason no one helped Trick is because Trick IS NXT Champion. He is what the others aspire to be. That is a target on his back. So Bubba’s advice to Trick is to have eyes on the back of his head. Trick says he hears that loud and clear. While he’s working on getting eyes on the back of his head, he wants revenge. Revenge on Ethan, revenge on Ridge, and Trick knows Bubba wants it, too. And while Trick’s been on Busted Open, he hasn’t gotten to be face to face with Bubba until now. So all that said, Trick has a question. Trick wants revenge, in a tag match! So hear Trick out.
Ethan & Ridge VS Trick Williams and one half of the D-D-D-DUDLEY BOYS~! IN THE ECW ARENA!! The fans are thunderous for that idea! Bubba hears the “E C DUB!” chants and Bubba says he’s known Trick for only three minutes, and yet Trick’s got his juices flowing! Somehow, Trick got Bubba thinking about South Philadelphia, about the energy in the 2300 Arena, about lacing his boots up one more time, and about taking it to the extreme! Bubba’s even thinking he can wear the camo and tie dye. Maybe Bubba should bust out… THE GLASSES! He puts them on! Bubba says maybe they can have a moment where Bubba pushes Trick and shouts… “TRICK! GET THE TABLES!”
The fans fire up for that! Bubba takes a breath, paces a bit, and the fans chant “DO IT! DO IT!” Bubba tells Trick that it isn’t about him, though. It is about Trick. It is about Trick and every other wrestler in the NXT locker room who do it better than anybody else in the world. Every man and woman in NXT, Bubba cannot take their spot. He appreciates the offer, but he has to say no. The fans are disappointed, and Trick is a bit surprised, but Bubba leaves the ring. Fans chant “You Still Got It!”
Cut to Ava Raine backstage watching this, and even she says Trick & Bubba would’ve been a great duo. He has history with Bubba, doesn’t he? ROB VAN DAM is here! And RVD says yeah, they do. So many bloody memories from being in the ring with Bubba. And Bubba may not wanna be part of NXT 2300, but RVD knows someone who does. Rob Van Dam. Ava says they’d be happy to have him. What will RVD do? Leave that to Ava. RVD heads out, Wes overhears all that and is annoyed. Wes leaves, Kelani walks in, and she wants to talk with Ava. Ava knows, but the spinner landed on what it was, there’s no changing that now.
Kelani says she’s not upset about that, it was a Gauntlet match and she lost. So she just wants her 1v1 rematch with Fallon. But Nikkita Lyons walks in and says hey, she knows Kelani wants the title back, but Kelani lost. And she’s not the only one wanting a title opportunity. So sorry not sorry, Lyons wants to take her own opportunity. Fallon needs a challenger, so- Kelani says we’ll see about that. Kelani will handle Lyons, and then get back to Fallon. The Standout heads out, but the Lyoness says she won’t get very far. Which huntress makes it through the other to go after the Fatal Influence?
Shawn Spears & Brooks Jensen talk.
They spy on The Don, and The Chair Man says Tony retained. That just means he’ll need a new challenger. No more sling, so that means Spears is the guy. Then what’s the plan? They walk right over to Tony, right as Adriana Rizzo says she’s got business to attend to. He tells her to be careful, then she heads out. But before Spears can address Tony properly, Luca Crusifino & Stacks walk in. Luca says there’s a voicemail Tony needs to listen to urgently. Tony takes the phone, and asks for some space. Spears says sure. They’ll talk later. Spears & Jensen head out, and Tony goes to the message.
Someone on the other side lets Tony know that he knows they’re coming to Philly next week. Why’s he gotta hear this all secondhand? Is Tony’s phone broken or something? That’s not how family handles business. This is blatant disrespect! That North American Championship looks good on Tony, so he better bring it with him. See you on Wednesday. Wait, is that…? Tony says yeah. And they’ll handle him next week. But who is it that thinks Tony owes him something?
NXT Heritage Cup Championship: Charlie Dempsey w/ No Quarter Catch Crew VS Lexis King w/ William Regal!
While the Son of the Gentleman Villain doesn’t think The Drama King, who is in the middle of changing his ways, can handle this match type, THE Gentleman Villain thinks otherwise. Did Mr. Regal’s crash course help prepare Lexis for this moment? Or will Charlie be proven right in the end?
NXT returns and The NQCC is in the ring. The introductions are made, the cup is raised, and we see if the apple really doesn’t fall far from the tree!

Dempsey: 1; Lexis: 0
With 35 seconds to spare, Dempsey snatches that one> Regal is frustrated for Lexis, but also coaches on what to change up. Lexis has time to turn it around, but can he?
The bell rings for round two, and Dempsey UPPERCUTS! Dempsey fires knees, then cravats for more knees! Speaking of changing tactics, he is going fast ‘n’ furious! CRAVAT PLEX! Cover, ONE as Lexis gets an arm up. Dempsey still hast he cravat, but Lexis scoops! Only for Dempsey to drag him down! The fans rally, Lexis fights up, but Dempsey CLUBS him! And KNEES him down! The ring count climbs, but then the ref has to check Lexis. Dempsey waits, Lexis stands at one minute, but he falls right over! IS the knee that bad? Lexis says no, he can’t lose like this, but NXT has to go to break.
NXT returns and this match is still going! Vic Joseph lets us know, the ref chose to pause time for the medical check, and as replay shows us, Lexis refused to let them stop him. He pulled the knee brace off and stormed back down the ramp! In present, Lexis dodges Dempsey to send him into ropes! Then he JAWBREAKERS! Lexis CHOPS, CHOPS, and CHOPS again! Lexis UPPERCUTS, then whips to BACKDROP Dempsey! Lexis gets moving to rally with LARIT after LARIAT! Ten seconds, but Lexi shits a BIG back suplex! We’re under a minute as Dempsey hits a SHIN BREAKER! But Lexis stands to ENZIGIRI! Both men are down and Regal says tough it out. We have 30 seconds, and Regal slips Lexis the brass knuckles!? The fans rally, Lexis says no, not that way! Lexis is NOT his father! But Dempsey CHOP BLOCKS Lexis! TEN seconds, and Dempsey hits a GERMAN SUPLEX! Bridging cover, DEMPSEY WINS!
Winner: Charlie Dempsey, by pinfall (still NXT Heritage Cup Champion)
It was a 2-0 clean sweep, and Regal says he is sorry for causing that internal conflict. Lexis may have lost, but he lost doing things cleanly. Will he just have to fight that much harder to earn another shot?
Lola Vice speaks.
“Next Wednesday, I finally get what I want: Jaida Parker. One on one, and the bad news for you, mama, it’s a hardcore match, and I’m no stranger to that. I fought in a cage, and now I get to release my full arsenal of MMA strikes and submissions on you? I get to beat dat ass with no regulations? Da le, let’s see if you can handle the heat. Dawn Marie, you won’t even have to count to uno-dos-tres, because Lola Vice is gonna knock out Miss Parker.” It all goes down for NXT 2300, will Lola prove she can go to the extreme?
Zaria VS Brinley Reece!
The Agent of Change made her presence known last Tuesday, and twice on Sunday, literally! Will she make everyone see there is no stopping the inevitable?

Winner: Zaria, by pinfall
No mercy from the powerhouse from down under! But then Fatal Influence taunts Zaria from up in the stands. She stole their moment on Sunday, so they’re returning the favor. They don’t care that Zaria is new here. But she will learn that she does not mess with Fatal Influence. But then Roxanne Perez & Cora Jade walk out. Roxie says hi to Fallon, and congratulates her on being the NEW NXT Women’s North American Champion. Not to step on toes, but Roxie & Cora thought it’d be nice if the two of them joined the three Influencers in “welcoming” Zaria to the NXT Women’s Division. These five surround Zaria, but then in slides Kelani!
The Standout stands by Zaria, and the others laugh. It’s still 5v2. But wait! Giulia & Stephanie Vaquer join in! 5v4 and Roxie says that’s still good. WAIT! Who is this now?! JORDYNNE GRACE?! Kelani hits an X-FACTOR on Jazmyn, Giulia & Vaquer hit STEREO METEORAS on Cora & Roxie! Jacy ROCKS Zaria, but then Zaria fireman’s carries Jacy! F5!! Giulia feeds Roxie to Jordynne & Zaria! They both lift little Roxie with ease, to TOSS her onto the toxic pile! The fans are thunderous for “NXT! NXT!” as the Mean Girls got treated like trash! Will the champions of this NXT Women’s Division only be champions for a little longer?
Kelani Jordan VS Nikkita Lyons!
As if things weren’t already wild, The Standout shifts gears to take on The Lyoness. They both want to go after Fallon and the Women’s North American Championship, but who proves they’re ready for that opportunity?
The bell rings, Kelani is Spider-Gwen while Lyons is either a pirate or a Founding Father. The two tie up, Lyons powers Kelani back but Kelani turns things around to arm-drag! Kelani has the armlock but Lyons fights up to arm-drag back! Kelani fights up, but Lyons whips. Kelani slides, returns, slingshot, but no arm-drag! Lyons whips Kelani but Kelani SHOTGUNS her down! And now Rizzo pounces on Lyons! The fans fire up as Big Rizz TACKLES Lyons! Kelani wants Rizzo to hold on but Rizzo explains that Lyons did it! Did it?! Yeah, the backstage attack! Well in that case, Kelani gives Rizzo a boost so she can DIVE onto Lyons! The fans fire up as Rizzo gets after Lyons with more hands! Refs and security rush out but Rizzo SLAPS Lyons! They scrap to the back, what will it take for Rizzo to get even with Lyons? Why did Lyons even attack Rizzo in the first place?
Ethan Page is here!
NXT returns to All Ego in the ring and the fans booing him. He has the mic to say, “Ladies and gentlemen, if you think All Ego Ethan Page is finished with the NXT Championship, you are sadly mistaken!” But then here comes Ridge Holland! The fans boo him, too, but he tells Ethan that he’ll just hold him up for a second. Everyone is sick and tired of Ethan. The fans applaud that! Ridge knows Ethan won the title his first time at it, but he has had shot after shot, opportunity after opportunity. Unfortunately, Trick survived Halloween Havoc. But let Ridge assure Ethan, Trick won’t hold onto the title much longer.
Ridge will be the man that knocks Trick off his throne and take the title. Trick knows it, too! That’s why he had “Bully Ray” do his dirty work. But thankfully, Bully came to his senses and made the smartest decision of his life by rejecting the offer. Wait! Bubba comes right back out! He goes right back to the ring and the fans fire up! Bubba tells Ridge it is time that they had a little talk. The fans cheer, and Bubba says before Halloween Havoc, he didn’t know much about Ridge. Now, just the past 48 hours, Bubba’s learned a lot about Ridge. Bubba says Ridge has commanded the conversation on Busted Open Radio.
No matter where Bubba turns, people are talking about Ridge Holland. The fans boo, and Bubba says what he knows now is that Ridge is one hell of a rugby player, tough, fast, agile, on and on. A lot of people have smartened Bubba up about Ridge, too. Ridge shattered both of his legs, came back after only eight MONTHS, and hey, Bubba respects that. The fans applaud, but then Bubba says that’s where it ends. The fans cheer that! Bubba says Ridge disrespected him, Dave, their show, and every freakin’ fan here! Bubba doesn’t deal well with disrespect, so he has one question for Ridge: “Do you know who I am?”
Bubba is one half of the greatest mother truckin’ tag team to ever walk God’s green earth! The fans cheer for “E C DUB! E C DUB!” Bubba has held more championships than Ridge has had opportunities. And as far as Ridge getting his shot at the NXT Championship, whether or not he deserves it, debatable. As far as Ethan goes, he deserves absolutely nothing! The fans cheer that! Bubba pushes past Ethan to get in Ridge’s face. “The NXT Universe is gonna have to see a hell of a lot more from you, Ridge, if you’re ever to get a chance at a shot at the NXT Championship.” Ridge tells Bubba that no one cares what he thinks anymore.
Bubba’s not even an active competitor, he’s a radio host. And a popular one, sure, but all Bubba does is sit behind a mic. He doesn’t live in Dudleyville anymore, he is a nostalgic act. So go watch some old ECW, revel in your prime, because it wasn’t extreme, it was overrated. The fans boo, but Ridge says Bubba should go back to his studio and complain about what’s wrong with the current generation. Because if he doesn’t, Dave will need a new cohost while Bubba’s in the hospital. Bubba DECKS Ridge! But Ethan CLUBS Bubba! The fans boo as Ethan and Ridge mug Bubba! But here comes Trick!
The fans fire up as Trick slides in, and he LARIATS Ridge! And LARIATS Ethan! Repeat! The fans fire up as Trick fires hands on Ridge, and Bubba TRUCKS Ethan! Bubba even LARIATS Trick up and out! Trick TOSSES Ridge, and then Bubba grabs a mic. “Hey, Trick! You still wanna tag team partner for next Wednesday!?” The fans love where this is going! Bubba says next Wednesday night, NXT 2300 live from the ECW Arena, it is Ethan & Ridge VS Trick Williams & Bubba Ray Dudley!! “WHOOP DAT TRICK!” The fans are all fired up for that! Will Bubba & Trick bring down All Ego & Yorkshire Grit in Philly?
Giulia, Vaquer, Kelani, Zaria & Jordynne regroup in the locker room.
They’re all feeling pumped, and Vaquer says next Wednesday, in their newly announced TEN WOMAN TAG, she wants Roxie. Jordynne is good with that. Giulia says she isn’t done with Cora, either. Zaria says any of Fatal Influence is hers, but Jordynne says she can help with that. Kelani says yeah, good, but leave her some of Fallon. The others say that’s fair. But in steps RHEA RIPLEY! Mami is happy to see Zaria. This is pretty wild even for her. She heard about that Ten Woman Tag, she just had to see this for herself. They ready? Hell yeah! Good. But knowing who their opponents are, it will be amazing.
Next Wednesday, NXT 2300 in the ECW Arena, Rhea hopes their blow the roof off the place. Oh yeah! Will this all-star team do Rhea proud and show some brutality to Roxie, Cora & The Fatal Influence?
Jaida Parker speaks.
“Lola Vice. Baby, I don’t think you understand what you’re getting yourself into net Wednesday. Because your idea of a hardcore match is a lot different than mine. You can use your little MMA skills, but baby, I can use any weapon I can get my hands on. And what I got in mind is way better for the ECW Arena. Oh, and Dawn Marie. Baby, I ain’t ever met you before, I don’t even know you, but if you get in my way, you are gonna learn what Lola Vice is going to find out: Jaida Parker don’t play.” Will Miss Parker leave Lola behind as she heads for bigger and better?
NXT Tag Team Championships: Nathan Frazer & Axiom VS Je’Von Evans & Cedric Alexander!
While Fraxiom is all about #NeverSlowDown, there was a bit too much haste in how they got into this match with The Young OG & “Uncle Ceddy.” We see Ava, Stevie Turner & Robert Stone watching the entrances backstage, and Stone says this is exciting. They’re about to see who walks into ECW Arena as the tag team champions. And remember Stevie, it is Wednesday next week, not Tuesday. She knows that, you idiot. Wait, is he going? Of course! Aw c’mon…! But then Eddy Thorpe walks in, hoping to get a word with Ava. But then refs rush past them all, something just went down! Wait, Raquel & Liv!? They just mugged Rhea in the parking lot!!
The refs sit Rhea up and she is bloodied and half conscious! Will Ava have to call Pearce about this? What consequences will be awaiting Liv & Raquel next Monday?
NXT returns, Je’Von & Cedric have made their entrances, and now we get the introductions. The belts are raised, and we see which team leaves the other in the rearview mirror!
The teams sort out, Axiom and Cedric start. They tie up, Cedric waistlocks, but Axiom fights the lift. Cedric drops, wrangles Axiom to a leglock, but Axiom kicks him away. Axiom rolls to have a leglock back, but Cedric kicks Axiom away. Cedric wrenches an arm, YANKS it, then arm-drags! Cedric has the cording hold and the fans applaud. Axiom fights up, rolls, wrenches through and wrangles Cedric. The fans rally and duel, Cedric fights up to roll, handspring and trip Axiom. Things speed up, but Cedric stops short of the dropdown. Cedric flips Axiom, but Axiom kips up to arm-drag! Axiom ducks ‘n’ dodges, jumps over, then catches the hurdle to a FLAPJACK!
Axiom has the legs, ties them up, BOW ‘N’ ARROW! Cedric pops free to a cover, TWO! The two have a standoff and the fans cheer. Frazer tags himself in, and he calls out Je’Von! The fans rally up but Axiom isn’t so sure about this. Je’Von tags in, steps to Frazer, and the fans rally up. Frazer then takes off, redirects, and again. Je’Von ducks under, he gets moving, ducks ‘n’ dodges, but Frazer dodges back. Frazer goes up and over, ducks ‘n’ dodges again, then RANAS! But Je’Von handsprings through! Each man avoids a kick, and the fans are thunderous as Je’Von shows he CAN keep up! Axiom has Frazer cool off, but the fans rally for “YOUNG OG!”
Frazer storms up to SLAP Je’Von! Je’Von says okay, and he trips Frazer up for ground ‘n’ pound! The fans fire up, Frazer gest free, but Je’Von SLAPS! Je’Von whips, Frazer whips, but Cedric sneaks a tack. Je’Von dodges then sweeps the legs! Cedric basement dropkicks! Cover, TWO! Cedric says okay, let’s all cool down. Cedric then DECKS Frazer, covers, TWO! Cedric clamps onto Frazer, Frazer fights up but Cedric puts him in the corner. Cedric CHOPS, then he tags Je’Von. They handoff Frazer for Je’Von to wrench and whip. Je’Von runs up, but into an ELBOW! Frazer goes out, goes up, but Je’Von ducks under the leap.
Frazer comes back to ELBOW Je’Von! Axiom says okay, time to switch. Frazer rejects the tag! Frazer stomps Je’Von, digs his boot in, but the ref counts. Axiom tags in at 4, and he gets in Frazer’s face! Things are getting heated, but Je’Von SUPERKICKS Frazer! So Axiom UPPERCUTS Je’Von! Axiom CHOPS, whips, but Je’Von goes up and BOUNCY~ RANA! And then a DROPKICK! Je’Von tags Cedric as Axiom bails out. Je’Von BOOTS Frazer, and Cedric FLIES! Down goes Axiom and the fans fire up! PRIMED Alexander still has it, and he flexes alongside Je’Von while NXT goes to break.
NXT returns again and the fans rally for Cedric as he endures a chinlock. Cedric fights up, wrenches free, and he CHOPS Axiom! And CHOPS, but Axiom blocks! Axiom wrangles, wrenches, and SUPERKICKS! Cedric sputters as he sits up, and Axiom KICKS hm! And KICKS him! Axiom lines up a shot, but Cedric ducks the buzzsaw! Cedric fireman’s carries, for a DETONATION KICK! Both men are down and the fans fire up again! Cedric and Axiom crawl, hot tags to Frazer and Je’Von! The fans fire up as Je’Von rallies on Frazer! Je’Von whips, Frazer reverses, but Je’Von SPIN KICKS! Then he builds speed to DIVE onto Axiom!
The fans are thunderous, Je’Von springboards to FLYING LARIAT! Cover, TWO!! Frazer survives and the fans can’t believe it! Je’Von calls to Cedric but he’s still out of it. Je’Von sees Axiom is back, so he runs up, dodges a punch, and rebounds to SPIN KICK, into an ANKLE LOCK! Axiom twists the foot, but Je’Von rolls to send Axiom INTO Frazer! SUPERKICK DDT COMBO!! The fans fire up as Je’Von covers Frazer, TWO!! Frazer survives again and Je’Von is growing frustrated. Je’Von calls to Cedric, “This is Awesome!” as Je’Von goes back to Frazer. Je’Von YANKS Frazer up but Frazer lands on his feet to PELE!
Tag to Axiom and then Frazer goes over Je’Von. Axiom GAMANGIRIS Je’Von and Frazer has him. Axiom goes up, MISSILE DROPKICK LEG SWEEP COMBO! Cover, TWO!! Je’Von survives and the fans fire up! The fans chant for “NXT! NXT!” for making this main event. Axiom goes up, aims, but Je’Von avoids the splash! Cedric tags, Axiom runs up, and Axiom blocks a boot. Je’Von ENZIGIRIS Axiom down! Je’Von goes up and over, reels Axiom in, and hits a POWERBOMB! Cedric flips Axiom over to POWERBOMB, too! Cover, Frazer MISSILE DROPKICKS Je’Von onto it! The fans fire up while all four men are down!
Frazer crawls to Axiom while Cedric crawls to the corner. Hot tag to Je’Von, and he ROUNDHOUSES Frazer away! But Frazer comes back! Je’Von goes up and around Frazer to springboard OG CUTTER for Axiom!! The fans are thunderous, Cedric drags Frazer out while Je’Von covers, TWO!!! Je’Von is beside himself, but he tears off wrist tape. Tag back to Cedric, and they storm up on Axiom. Cedric drags Axiom up to feed Je’Von, but Axiom hits a DESTROYER!! Axiom ROCKS Cedric, but Cedric CHOPS Axiom! Axiom goes up, Cedric puts him back in the corner to CHOP! CHOP! And CHOP!
Cedric fires CHOP after CHOP after CHOP but stops as the ref counts. Cedric goes corner to corner but Axiom goes up and over. Cedric BOOTS Axiom, then KICKS him! Axiom falls back, Cedric goes up, but Axiom returns! GAMANGIRI! Axiom positions Cedric just right, then tags Frazer. They both climb, SPANISH FLY for the Power! PHOENIX SPLASH for the Glory! Cover, but Je’Von stomps it apart and leaps to CUTTER on Axiom!! All four men are down and the fans are thunderous for “NXT! NXT!” Wait, is that Wes Lee? And he has a chair! So Je’Von DIVES onto him first! Je’Von fires hands on Wes, but he’s letting Wes distract him!
Frazer goes back up, PHOENIX- NO, Frazer has to land out as Cedric moves! Cedric BOOTS Frazer, but Axiom leaps in! Into a LUMBAR CHECK!! And a MICHINOKU DRIVER for Frazer! Cover, TWO!?!? Cedric hurries up top, but Frazer gets him! Axiom tags in! SUPERPLEX, roll through, CHASING THE DRAGON!! Cover, Fraxiom wins!!
Winners: Nathan Frazer & Axiom, by pinfall (still NXT Tag Team Champions)
Je’Von let his youthful fire get the better of him, and he left Unc high and dry! Will any team be able to hold it together like Fraxiom has? And speaking of Je’Von, he and Wes are brawling all the way to the backstage area! Refs try to stop this but easier said than done! Ava storms in and shouts at them to stop this! They are not doing this here! If they want a fight then- RVD steps in! And RVD says hey, he has an idea! He knows what he wants to do next week. Yeah, see you guys in Philly. RVD steps away, but Wes gets a cheap shot in! The refs have to stop Je’Von from going after him, but just what is RVD’s idea?
My Thoughts:
A great NXT here as not just the aftermath to Halloween Havoc but also the go-home to NXT 2300. I loved them interrupting the recap package for Tatum wheeling out that big casket for her match with Wendy. Great match from them at that, loved the use of unique items like Tatum’s dollhouse and a bedframe that was of course a replacement for a table spot. Great win for Tatum, but she’ll still be in a holding pattern for titles given the big 10 Woman Tag they just built. Zaria of course got a good debut win, and I really liked how they played the “double jointed as dislocated” card to then have Zaria attack the arm back into place.
They did a great segue from Zaria’s match to Kelani’s match with the big ten woman brawl. This will be like Survivor Series come early, and nice appearance by Rhea to welcome fellow Aussie, Zaria, to NXT. And then wow, I didn’t think they’d have Dom & Liv attack Rhea in the parking lot but that helps revitalize this Liv VS Rhea feud just a touch. I feel like that should be reason enough to keep Rhea from interfering at Crown Jewel, but you can bet it will add heat to whatever Rhea VS Raquel match happens next. As for the 10 Woman Tag, you can bet the Faces win, and it’ll be a non-champion like Jacy or Jazmyn taking the pin.
Turns out I was right, Lyons was whodunnit, and now Rizzo is after her. That was some good stuff with Kelani helping Rizzo once she knew what’s up. As for the D’Angelo Family, it sounds like we’re getting interaction between them and the FBI: Full Blooded Italians. Spears wanting to step up and be the next challenger to the North American Championship might be a sign Oba Femi is moving on. In fact, Oba might be moving on from NXT, there was talk of him saying some thanks and goodbyes Sunday night after the show. Oba being called up to, say, SmackDown to get in on the US Championship story would be pretty good.
The Heritage Cup Championship match was really good stuff, mostly on story. Lexis playing up the bad leg was good, but I’m really surprised he lost in just two rounds. I do also appreciate Lexis told Regal no on the brass knuckles, it shows he is determined to make it a true Face turn. Just not sure where we go from here. Eddy Thorpe showing up again is an interesting detail, too. Could Eddy actually be the one seeing Lexis is genuine and want to be an ally? Maybe a tag team is brewing so that Lexis at least has something going for him. That tag team championship main event was awesome stuff, but I should’ve known Wes Lee would get involved.
Clearly Wes was mad that other people are doing cool stuff and he’s left out, so he had to go and ruin things for Je’Von. They’re going to have a great match next week, but is RVD really going to be a special guest ref? Are we really doing more of these, and two on the same night? Jaida and Lola had very good promos to call each other out, but they’ve got Dawn Marie as a special guest ref, so I feel like we’re also going to get “special guest ref puts Heel in their place” in both of those matches and it’s just confusing as to why we’re doing so many of these in such a short span of time.
At least with Bubba Ray getting involved in story, he’s part of the story. Ridge got in Bubba’s face first so he kinda brought this upon himself. Very good promos from Trick and Bubba, then Bubba with Ridge and Ethan, and then the brawl that helped give us the tag match is good stuff. I have a feeling that Bubba is here also just to take the pin, probably even from Ridge, so that Ridge does have that “something” to make him a contender to Trick in time for Deadline. Then I bet Ethan Page goes to the Iron Survivor match to really show his stuff in an attempt to get back to the title in time for New Year’s Evil 2025.
My Score: 8.8/10

Nia Jax ambushes Rhea Ripley!
The Irresistible Force is here on Raw to face Bayley, but she’s getting her payback on Mami for last week! She dribbles Rhea into the steel chain link fencing again and again, even as security and Adam Pearce rush in! They get Nia to stop, but Rhea is pissed! Will Nia regret riling up Rhea Bloody Ripley?
Jey Uso is here!
Dallas fires up and bounces along as it’s time to YEET! Michael Cole does his best to keep up with the beat as Main Event Jey makes his way down the bleachers. Wade Barrett is subbing in for Pat McAfee (the NCAA College Football Championship is also tonight), and Wade says Maggle looks like a “drunk grandpa” doing the YEET. Jey makes it to ringside, he high fives Maggle, then goes to the ring. But the YEET doesn’t slow down, it just keeps going! Jey grabs a mic and tells Dallas, “Main Event Jey Uso is now in your citaaaaaa~!” The fans cheer, and join in with a “YEET!” Jey says this weekend, “YEET!” Saturday Night’s Main Event, “YEET!” Jey takes home the big one!
But then before Jey can continue, GUNTHER makes his way out here! Der Ring General, World Heavyweight Championship around his waist, makes his way right to the ring. Gunther grabs himself a mic while the fans boo. Jey paces but Gunther tells him, “Lemme guess, the next thing you were about to say is you were going to win the World Heavyweight title.” Jey confirms, he is gonna beat Gunther, then hang the title up in his room. Gunther says Jey really is “a funny little man.” But let’s not act like we both know it won’t happen. Last week, Jey was right here in front of Gunther, and he said every morning, he looks in the mirror and bets on ihmself.
The thing is, Gunther believes Jey. Gunther was looking forward to Saturday to square off with Main Event Jey Uso. Until today, when he saw Jey walking in here acting like that conversation last week never happened. Not after seeing Jey act like a complete DORK! Like he’s the company mascot for the fans! At this point, Gunther doesn’t even care. He could jsut as well get challenged by Jimmy Uso. Jey tells Gunther to not say something about his brother. Gunther says it doesn’t matter what Jey says, he never follows up with his actions! The fans are the only ones naive enough to believe everything Jey says. Gunther does not.
Bet on yourself> Until when? Until Roman REigns whistels? Until Sami Zayn needs him Until Jimmy needs him? Even Cody needed Jey and Jey showed up! All that makes Jey is a useful idiot, and Jey doesn’t even see it! Jey, your words and your actions do not align. Gunther’s always do! So on Saturday, when the bell rings, Gunther exposes Jey for the flash in the pan that has NO business being even this close to the World Heavyewight Championship. The fans boo but Gunther tells Jey to go. The fans “YEET! YEET! YEET!” but Jey says GUnther’s right again. Everything Gunther just said is true again.
Jey is the mascot of the WWE. And the fans here are his team. The fans are his squad. They ride with him! “YEET!” Slide with him! “YEET!” And they will be with him when he beats Gunther for the world championship! “YEET!” Jey reminds us he respects Gunther. But Gunther will respect Jey, too. Because only one of them in this ring main-evented a WrestleMania, and it ain’t Gunther. But then Gunther DECKS Jey! Gunther stomps Jey, the fans boo, but then Gunther DECKS Jey again! Gunther stands Jey up, but Jey TACKLDES Gunther! Jey rains down fists and teh fans fire up! Gunther gets up, but Jey fires more hands!
Jey has Gunther’s shirt over his head for a hockey scrum! Gunther gets free, but Jey SUPERKICKS him down! The fans all “YEET!” while Der Ring General retreats! Jey has the belt and he dares Gunther to come get it! Jey drops it at the ropes, Gunther storms up to the apron, but Gunther stays back. Gunther leaves Dallas with the belt tonight, but will Jey leave San Antonio with it this Saturday?
The New Day walks the halls.
And then they spot someone. “Finally, somebody who understands!” JBL is here! They all shake hands, and JBL loves seeing them. Kofi Kingston says JBL is not just a champion and a Hall of Famer, but he’ll be on commentary tonight for The New Day’s match with that “hypocrite of a locker room leader,” Rey Mysterio. JBL should let New Day know they are the victims of a disgusting smear campaign! Kofi even sweetens the deal with a whole $2. Kofi says JBL understands being in a tag team but having to cut the deadweight to get ahead. And when he did, what happened? He had the greatest success of his career!
Not as great as The New Day, but please, be an acolyte for ya bois! JBL says yes, he does “get it.” Big E, all the muscles and charisma and personality, everywhere they go, the fans love Big E. Everyone chants for New Day, for Big E. You get rid of him, the fans have to pay attention to Kofi & Woods! Wow, okay. Backhanded compliments? Be that way. The New Day heads out, JBL asks if he can keep the two bucks. Will Kofi & Woods finally see who’s really in the wrong? Or will they continue to have a bad day here on Raw?
Kofi Kingston w/ Xavier Woods VS Rey Mysterio!

Andrew’s TNA Genesis Results & Match Ratings: 1.19.25
Does TNA Believe in Joe Hendry more than Mokuba Nemeth believes in his big brother?
Hot off the heels of the TNA and WWE working relationship announcement, the Kickoff show already has the first sprinkle of NXT talent with Ashante “Thee” Adonis coming out after Ariana Grace tries to take all of the credit for the partnership. Jake something runs over Ashante, but it’s a good quick nod on free YouTube. Oh it also looks like the ring announcer is McKenzie Mitchel again. I did like her first run in TNA in what was that… like 2016-2018 or 19? She’s got personality, she’s cute and a solid announcer, so nice to see her back.
I’m not gonna run down any predictions on who I think will win, because honestly, I just feel like Hendry needs to win today or it’s been an entire waste of momentum. So lets get to the main show!
Ratings:
- X Division Championship: Moose (c) vs Ace Austin: Moose retains via Lights Out – *** 1/4
- The System vs Maniac Marines: Marines win via K.I.A. – ***
- Knockouts Tag Titles: Elegance Clique (Heather & Ash) w/Personal Concierge vs Spitfire (Dani Luna & Jody Threat) (c): Spitfire retain via Pressure Drop – **
- Jordynne Grace vs Tessa Blanchard: Tessa wins via Magnum – ****
- I Quit Match: Josh Alexander vs Mike Santana: Santana wins! – ***
- TNA Tag Team Championships: The Hardyz (c) vs The Rascalz: Hardyz retain via Swanton Bomb – *** 1/2
- Raven’s Clockwork Orange House of Fun Match: TNA Knockouts World Championship: Masha Slamovich (c) vs Rosemary: Masha wins via Avalanche Requiem – ** 3/4

Results:
X Division Championship: Moose (c) vs Ace Austin
As soon as the bell rings, Ace jumps on him, forces him into the corner and stomps on him. Moose tries to fight out but Ace stays relentless. Ace has a counter for everything Moose is trying to counter in the early goings. Even when Moose catches him during the apron Handstand Dodge, Ace still has a counter for his counter. It’s not until a rake to the eyes from Moose that finally gives him a moment to start dictating the pace. A huge Irish Whip on the outside through the barricade is what Ace feels…twice. Ace tries to fight back from Moose continuing the momentum, Ace eats a Pump Kick, but blocks Moose’s attempt at a Suplex and counters with his own Vertical Suplex on Moose! JDC gets in the proximity of Ace so Ace kicks him, which delays his springboard, so Moose catches him and bounces him off the apron like a super ball.
Moose lets the count go, Ace barely gets in at 9, Moose throws him corner to corner, is slowing things down and being very deliberate. Ace starts powering through the pain, catches a Pump Kick, dodges a Spear into the corner and puts together a few strikes, Double Stomp, Triangle Kick, wants The Fold but Moose puts the brakes on there. Ace tries to spring off the ropes but Moose grabs him and hits Go To Hell for two! Fighting Spirit spot, Ace starts winning the trade, a Headbutt from Moose stops Ace, Moose flips him over the ropes to the apron, tries a few more things, Ace looks for a Springboard, Moose catches him but Ace slips it for a Frankensteiner. Moose powders to the opposite apron and Ace hits his Inside Out Headscissors sending Moose crashing to the floor. Alisha and JDC try to help up Moose, and while the referee is distracted JDC posts Ace. Moose goes for the Around the World Lights Out, but Ace moves and Moose kills JDC! Ace hits The Fold on the floor!
Eddie Edwards and Brian Myers run down the ramp, Ace sees them so he hits the Fosbury Flop to take them out. Ace is rolling, he goes for the Triangle Kick but Moose counters with Lights Out! 1-2- KICK OUT? Moose sets up for another Lights Out, Ace sidesteps it for the Cradle, kickout, Uranage, Cradle counter, Art of Finesse from Ace but Lights Out to the Spine from Moose! Moose sets up another and lands the Lights Out to retain!
Post Match the System looks to beat down on Ace, but Maniac Marines music hits and they go after Myers and Edwards. Guess the match is now!Â
The System vs Maniac Marines
Steve and Eric beat the hell out of the System members while the referee tries to set the match, it still hasn’t started but we get stereo 10 count punches in the corner, big fists causing Myers and Edwards to powder. This is essentially a Tornado Tag right now because the match hasn’t even started. Okay it eventually starts and Maclin hits the Backbreaker on Edwards and Busaiku Knee on Myers. He looks for a SCUD but Lish grabs the foot which is just enough! Maclin tries to charge anyway but gets caught in the Blue Thunder Bomb and now the match slows down and Eddie is in control.
Maclin absorbs some Chops from Eddie in the corner, no sells a little and fires, Eddie tags out Myers tries to slow things down with a Russian Leg Sweep but Maclin continues to try and rally. Eddie’s back in, shortarm Gowan Lariat into a cocky cover for two. Eddie tries to keep moving but Maclin hits the Vertical Suplex. Maclin is too slow to tag out so Eddie tags out and Myers cuts off Maclin. After a few more quick tags from System members, Maclin finally lands a Lariat to get the simultaneous tag and EY comes in hot. EY does the Flair corner flip, knocks Eddie off the apron, Myers eats a Macho Elbow but only two. Eddie knocks Maclin off the apron, Tandem Tiger Driver for two, EY fights back to level Eddie, Tree of Woe Myers Caught in Crosshairs but Lish gets in the ring! Eddie grabs Eric and distracts the ref, Lish clocks Maclin with either knuckles or a full hand of rings, Spear from Myers is only a two!
System Overload attempt, it’s thwarted by EY, Myers gets crotched in like a Reverse Tree of Woe, so Maclin hits the Caught in the Crosshairs on the back, EY with a Plancha to the outside to take Edwards out and K.I.A. from Maclin means Maniac Marines win!
Knockouts Tag Titles: Elegance Clique (Heather & Ash) w/Personal Concierge vs Spitfire (Dani Luna & Jody Threat) (c)
Elegance duo comes out dressed like Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders. They do a Go Eagles chant right before the bell rings to a chorus of Boos.
Even though Elegance Clique throws their pompoms and try a cheap shot, Spitfire just plow through them, literally. Quick tags, some assisted moves, Ash gets away from Spitfire, tags in Heather and shoves her forward trying to take them off guard, but they turn around…grab Heather and a long Tandem Stalling Suplex with a Deep Squat for two. Concierge distracts the referee, looks for a low Dive onto Heather but Ash just kicks Dani in the face, and the referee sees nothing. Heather rolls her back in, Kawada Kicks, Forearm Shiver, trip into a Dropkick to the face! Ash hangs Dani off the apron and Heather hits the Double Stomp from the apron to the floor.
Ash starts choking Dani on the ropes, distracts the referee and Heather paintbrushes Dani with pompoms as Ash goes for a series of pinfall attempts. Quick tags, Dani is in their corner, Cartwheel Back Handspring Elbow from Ash into a Seated Dropkick from Heather. Dani has been getting smacked around for the last 4 or 5 minutes. Ash leans on Dani for a while, but Dani gets a head of steam, comes off the ropes and Shotgun Dropkick gives her space. Jody gets a hot tag, she Sack of Shits them both, Vader Hammers in the corner into a Michinoku Driver, which Ash breaks up with a Meteora. Heather and Ash have a nice tandem move for a two count. Jody tries to fight back, but Elegance stops it, blind tag from Dani, Senton takes out both Elegance Clique members and Dani stalks her prey. Snap Suplex two times on Ash, but Heather stops the third and Jody just tosses Heather out of the ring in a rough way. Jody tries her Double Knees German Suplex spot but Ash moves. Dani with the Shinsuke Nakamura Inside Out German, Pressure Drop and Spitfire retains.
Boo…
Jordynne Grace vs Tessa Blanchard
Grace charges Tessa immediately, and the ref needs to pull her off, but Tessa gets thrown around the ring literally, the crowd is chanting “Fuck You Tessa”, Tessa powders, eats a Dive and then a Jackhammer on the outside! Grace puts Tessa on her shoulders up to the ring, but Tessa finally fights off and flips off the crowd, revels in it for a second, tries the Frankensteiner, but Grace holds on, smashes Tessa into the guardrail twice, looks for the Reverse Bomb on the apron, but Tessa gets out, stomps on Jordynne a few times, hooks Jordynne’s face with the crook of her leg and drives Jordynne’s face into the apron. Unique looking and decent.
Tessa has the correct intensity, pushes into two quick pinfall attempts and starts getting deliberate. Drags Jordynne’s face across the rope, throats Grace, kicks her in the face and Slingshot Elbow is another near fall. Tessa with the Front Facelock, Grace tries to fight out but Tessa holds on and drops her with a Scorpion Death Drop for another near fall. Jordynne fights Tessa off with a few elbows, looks for a Superplex, but Tessa fights off, wants the Avalanche Sunset Bomb, but Jordynne stops it, Tessa kicks Grace’s feet, looks for a Rope Hung Death Drop but Jordynne fights it off and smashes Tessa’s face into the turnbuckles but Tessa hits the Rope Hung Backstabber for two. Tessa looks for Magnum, but Jordynne cuts her off, they fight at the top, Avalanche Sack of Shit! They both sell the exhaustion of the match so far.
They trade blows, two Scoop Slams from Jordynne, Lawn Dart into the Top Turnbuckle! Package Powerbomb for two! Dragon Suplex attempt from Grace, Tessa breaks it, Headlock Takeover, quick counter wrestling, Tiger Destroyer from Tessa! Only for a two count, but still nice. Buzzsaw attempt is shrugged off, Tessa comes off the ropes and eats the Spinebuster from Jordynne for two quick pinfall attempts. Tessa with the Body Scissors and pulls herself up and fights back, Jordynne slaps her around, looks for the Suplex but Tessa slips it and Neckbreaker Counter for a two count! The brawl to the apron, Grace eats a forearm and Tessa hits the Tornillo on Jordynne! They posture on the steps, Tessa wants a move but Jordynne counters her and Spicolli Driver from the stairs to the floor from Jordynne!
More back and forth in the corner, just positioning and counters, it’s like watching chess. Jordynne grabs Tessa for an Avalanche Air Raid Crash, but Tessa fights it and turns it into an Avalanche Crucifix Bomb! After trying a grounded submission Tessa locks in the Octopus, tries to wrench the fingers but Jordynne counters, Rope Assisted German Suplex into a Capture Suplex for 2! Kudome Valentine attempt from Grace but Tessa gets out, Backfist from Jordynne, Tessa bounces off and Cutter gives her a two count! Tessa calls for Magnum, Jordynne dodges it, Tessa rolls through, tries boots but Grace grabs Tessa and hits the around the world Reverse Alabama Slam! Tessa keeps trying to remove Buckle Pads but they’re on good, Tessa reverses out of the Kinikku Buster, hits the Buzzsaw into the partially exposed buckle but Grace grabs the rope. Tessa removes another pad, Bulldog into exposed buckle, Magnum, and Tessa is still sexy.
The turnbuckle pads being on too well made the finish a little flat, but it was a damn good match. There’s also a joke in the match with Tessa coming out wearing Red and Gold (Yellow), so the racism allegations are never going away if she keeps making it easy.
I Quit Match: Josh Alexander vs Mike Santana
There’s intensity but its all just technical tactics to take each other to the ground and grab a limb. But since we just came off of a pretty good match, things can’t start too hot. Every time Santana throws Josh to the outside, Josh scurries back to the ring, he’s playing scared. There’s a “He’s a bitch” chant that pops up. Santana cuts off Josh’s charge with a few well placed boots which sends Josh outside, Tope con Hilo levels the bald man. Santana throws Josh into a guardrail, Yakuza Kicks back to back rock Josh a bit. Fans call for tables and Santana slides one out to a huge pop. Santana sets it up, plays to the crowd, tries a Powerbomb onto the table but Josh slips it and Overhead Belly to Belly sends Santana crashing. A fan can be heard saying “That look like it hurt” to which Santana replies ” It did asshole”. Now Josh is dissecting Santana’s legs to soften him up for the Ankle Lock. Josh goes for the corner spot with the Figure Four around the post after bouncing the knee off the post a few times.
Josh tries to continue but Santana slides out and counters Josh and bounces his face off the post. Josh walks it off a bit as Santana stalks him and then a quick Chop Block has Santana writhing in pain. Josh decides to be a heel and do the Three Amigos instead of the Kurt Angle Germans. Disrespectful bald jerk. Santana gets throated, dropped to the apron on his ass, Low Crossbody but Santana flattens out and Josh goes flying! Santana tries a Dive, but Josh catches him and just drops him spine first on the apron. After a small resilient flurry of slaps from Santana Josh goes for the Germans. Santana brushes off on the third, goes for the Rolling Buck Fifty, gets caught in the Torture Rack, Santana fights off Josh’s shoulders, kicks him into the corner, Senton into the seated Josh. Perches him up top, points at the table, tries something but Josh fights him off, Moonsault from Josh misses and a Death Valley Driver gives both a moment to breathe.
Santana Spin the-BLOCK-ED! Josh sweeps the leg, Ankle Lock and Santana refuses to quit twice but slips the boot ala Eddie Guerrero. Josh pauses a moment, Santana charges and Josh dumps him over the top rope through the table! Santana says he doesn’t quit, Josh looks surprised, so he goes looking for more plywood. He also grabs the bottom set of stairs and throws them into the ring. Scoop Slams Santana into the broken table and continues looking for weapons, like a chair and zip ties. Santana crawls into the ring, Josh steps on the worked on leg and smashes it repeatedly with the chair. Josh goes into Full Mount, rains down strikes, exposes the elbow for Elbow Strikes and tries to soften him up for the zip ties. C4 Spike but Santana raises up like the Undertaker and fires into beating the piss out of Josh. Frankensteiner on Josh into the Frog Splash, Spin the Block! Josh doesn’t quit. Santana grabs the zip ties that Josh introduced, ties the hands behind Josh’s back, Spin the Block 2! Josh doesn’t quit. Santana sets up the steps as a ramp, table in front of Josh in the corner and Cannonballs through the table into Josh! Josh still doesn’t quit off the Jackass stunt. Santana finds a sock filled with quarters and starts beating Josh like it’s a slapjack. Josh still doesn’t quit. Santana tells Josh to bite the curb and is about to Curb Stomp him into the steps and Josh gets scared and quits.
TNA Tag Team Championships: The Hardyz (c) vs The Rascalz
Fraxiom comes out to watch the match, so this nicely sets up a potential early angle between NXT and TNA for the crossover.Â
Trey and Matt start, but it’s a slow Headlock basic counters and feint spots. Jeff and Wentz want to play, so this is very Japanese in giving each member a free chance to interact before any cutoffs or tandems. The crowd likes both men, so this is interesting but more Stalemate spots. Jeff manages a Polish Hammer to tag in Matt and go for a quick tandem move and keep Wentz in the Hardy Corner bouncing his face off buckles in Delete fashion. Tag from Jeff for another tandem Rocket Launcher into the bottom rope and Leg Drop from Jeff. Wentz counters the Twist with a Jumping Knee so he manages a tag to Trey and then a few quick striking double team spots. Quick tag to Wentz, Matt comes in to break it up, drops Matt and Wishbone. Quick Tag, MCMG ACS Rush homage. Wentz Dives onto Matt on the outside, Matt catches him into the Side Effect on the floor! Jeff gets the best of Trey after he’s a little distracted. Manhattan Drop from Jeff, into a tag to Matt and then some double team strikes for a near fall. Delete Head Smashes again on Trey.
Vertical Suplex from Matt for another 2. Matt tags out and Hardys look for more Tandem attacks, Plot Twist but Wentz recovers and makes the break! Trey flips out of Jeff’s arms, tags in Wentz, and Wentz cleans house on both Hardys. Corner to corner, tags back in Trey they hit the Saki Kashima assisted Dropkick on each Hardy and then they dump the Hardys at the feet of Fraxiom. FIVE HOLE DIVE FROM RASCALZ! Misses the Hardys and hits Fraxiom! This builds heat for The Rascalz and Fraxiom as Hardys attack the Rascalz while distracted. Poetry in Motion off the stairs from Jeff!
Facebuster from Jeff for two! Wentz hits a Busaiku Knee on Jeff to stop him from hitting Trey, Side Effect drops Wentz, Enzuigiri from Trey drops Matt and all four are down to catch their breath a bit. Original Poetry in Motion on Trey! Twist of Fate from Matt but countered and Matt is thrown into Jeff who’s selling a knee. Superkick into Feed Em to the Lions! Wentz Dives on Matt but Trey can’t quite make a clean pinfall. Jeff eats a Cheeky Nandos and Top Rope Tiger Feint, Twist of Fates for everyone and Jeff re-NO Trey kicks out! Another Twist but eats a Superkick from Wentz, tries the UFO Cutter on Matt but Matt just throws him to the outside. A Twist of Fate from each Hardy Boy, Swanton Bomb and the Hardyz retain!
Thursday’s Live Show will have Fraxiom vs The Rascalz for the NXT Titles!Â
Raven’s Clockwork Orange House of Fun Match: TNA Knockouts World Championship: Masha Slamovich (c) vs Rosemary
Do Rosemary’s shorts have Pokemon Gym Badges on em? Masha goes for the Staple Gun, it almost gets countered immediately, but she gets the first few clicks of the Staple gun, it actually doesn’t backfire, but she lets Rosemary powder and starts grabbing a few weapons. Masha finally decides to attack Rosemary with a cane, but Rosemary turns things around with the green mist. Slamovich gets some of the mist out of her eyes, chases her into the ring and eats a Drop Toehold into a Chair. Rosemary sets up the table, panders to the crowd and Masha launches herself over the top with a Crossbody, into Rosemary and then through the table! Masha finds her old chain she used to make Killer Kelly submissive and starts choking and dragging Rosemary around the ring and then Sabus the chair at Rosemary for emphasis.
Masha tries to hit the front flip Senton onto a seated Rosemary, but Rosemary moves and Masha hits the chair weird. Rosemary beats her with a chair a few times, looks under the ring, gets giddy and finds Janice! Rosemary swings Janice, breaks it, and then uses the two pieces to block the cane Masha had and then pressed the nail portion into Masha’s back! Rosemary is talking to Janice and goes to the back to find tacks that she spills out on the stage. Rosemary wants a Chokeslam into tacks, Masha counters, misses a Lariat and then eats the Spear into the tacks! Barbed Wire board is set up in the ring, Spicolli…nope! Russian Death Device into the Barbed Wire! Masha goes to the top, Footstomp into the barbed wire but only for 2 again! Masha goes to the outside and grabs a ladder.
A trash can lid gets thrown at Rosemary for good measure, Masha ascends the ladder and then Rosemary pushes the ladder and Masha goes crashing through one of two tables set up on the outside. Rough spot, rough looking, but Masha manages to move enough to break the pinfall since its falls count anywhere. Rosemary now goes full Kevin Steen and makes some chair art for a spot, drags Masha into the ring, sets he on the chairs and goes to the top. Masha sits up as Rosemary climbs, counters the momentum and Avalanche Requiem through the chairs! Masha retains.
Cora Jade’s music hits and sets up nicely after Masha was on NXT.Â
The Countdown Panel starts off with their main event picks they hinted towards and it’s necessary because they have to clean up the ring. Mark Henry picks Joe Hendry, and he better be correct. Ryan Nemeth interrupts with the “my brootthhheerrr” stuff, and Santino calls him “Fuck Face Guy”. It’s all good stuff, and I’m still a big fan of the Mokuba gimmick, but now they ban Ryan Nemeth.Â
TNA World Championship: Nic Nemeth (c) vs Joe Hendry
Simple chain wrestling start until Nic has a few words and then snaps off a Dropkick, does his show off Dolph stuff so Hendry runs him over with a Shoulder Block and then a Knee Lift. Hendry tries his Stalling Suplex but Nic slips it into a Rear Naked Choke! Hendry spins Nic around, walks around with the Stalling Suplex before finally dropping Nic. Ryan Nemeth shows up with a ticket, so he’s sitting in the crowd now. Joe gets distracted just enough for Nic to jump up and hit a delayed DDT. After Nic tries to stretch Joe a little, Hendry goes into locomotion Cradles but Nic drops Joe to take a breather. Nic does his single Shot to the Heart Elbow and he’s really embracing the old Dolph Ziggler show off ego. Ziggler looks for a Rude Awakening after more arrogant moments, but Joe tries to fight it off, so Nic just snaps off a Jumping Neckbreaker.
Joe manages to hit a Cutter off the ropes to try and get some energy from the crowd. Strike exchange happens here, Uppercuts from Joe and Fists from Nic. Joe blocks one fist, throws a few of his own together and a Lariat levels Nic. Sack of Shit into the Kip Up! Counters galore from both men before Nic gets caught in the Pop-Up Powerbomb! Attitude Adjustment for just a near fall. You see moments of Nic trying to cheat or find an angle but he hasn’t done anything overtly heelish yet. Joe is rocking him with chops, perches Nic on the top, looks for the Superplex but Nic fights back, Hendry gets pushed off, Crossbody but Hendry rolls through, holds on and gets his Powerbomb countered into a FAMEasser for two! Nic crawls to a corner, looks to climb for something big, Hendry cuts him off, Avalanche Sack of Shit! Kaz walks out with the trophy as both men sell, but JBL comes out of the crowd and Clothesline from Hell on Kaz. JBL punches Ryan in the face as he comes out to say something. Then Tuxedo JBL leaves after doing his job. Standing Ovation from HENDRY! 1-2-NO! Nic kicks out!
The crowd chants “One More Time” and it fires up Hendry, he does the heel turn and goes full Queen Stomp, tries again, but Nic slips it. Superkick into Danger Zone and it’s….HENDRY KICKS OUT! Nic is tuning up the band, Hendry catches Nic, Sack of Shit, Kip Up, big fire, Standing Ovation! JOE HENDRY WINS!
Overall Score: 7/10
Even if the match quality wasn’t bonkers, mostly all the matches did what they needed to do, were fairly good and a good number of NXT talent showed up to make the Live iMPACT! and TNA really feel like something special right now. I’m an unabashed Tessa fan, so I’m giddy she won and Hendry finally getting the title is the latest they could’ve really dragged this out to, but at least it stops him from becoming Tetsuya Nai-Joe.
I’m not gonna be a hypocrite from previous complaints I made with too many champions being babyfaces, because that’s still bad and proves the next few title defenses could prove volatile. However, I of course just enjoy most of the current champions. So while it doesn’t erase the fact it’s bad, it makes it more palatable for me personally. Now if only PCO destroyed the Knockouts Tags instead of a different irrelevant belt.
Also let’s be very clear, anyone that believes the PCO stunt was a legit shoot doesn’t know wrestling. Everything is a work until it isn’t and then it still could be turned into a work. Don’t be gullible and just anticipate something to be worked out of it one way or the other.
Still though, good show with a lot of hype for the Live iMPACT, so Thursday should be fun! See you there!
