Once enemies because of the Don Callis Family, The Cleaner and the Aerial Assassin are now united against the Don Callis Family! Will the Best Bout Bruvs get even with the Alpha and the Aussie Arrow? Or will the DCF be the future of AEW?
How fitting that alongside Callis is Mark Davis. Aussie Open not only returns home together, but Davis continues to stand by Kyle against Ospreay. The fans are much more fired up for Ospreay and Omega during their entrances. “This is Awesome!” and it’s only just beginning! The fans sing for “Ospreay~, Ospreay Ospreay Ospreay~!” while Kyle barks at him. These two start, the bell rings, and they RAM shoulders! The forearms fly and the fans fire up even more! The shots keep going, Ospreay kicks low then headlocks. Kyle powers up and out, Ospreay RAMS Kyle, but Kyle rebounds to RAM Ospreay!
Ospreay RAMS Kyle again, then ROCKS Kyle on the rebound! Ospreay runs, but Kyle CLOBBERS him! The fans boo but Kyle just soaks it up! Kyle stomps Ospreay, tags Konosuke, and Konosuke BOOTS Omega down! Kyle & Konosuke double whip Ospreay to then CLOBBER him! The fans boo while Kyle & Konosuke flex, and Konosuke wrenches Ospreay to a wristlock. Tag to Kyle, they mug Ospreay, but the fans continue to sing for Ospreay. Kyle throws a body shot, then brings Ospreay around. Ospreay body shots then CHOPS, but Kyle kicks low. Kyle whips Ospreay to the corner, but Ospreay BOOTS Konosuke!
Kyle kicks Ospreay, whips again, but Ospreay handsprings to NEURALIZER KICK! The fans fire up while Kyle sputters, and Ospreay tags in Omega! The fans are thunderous as Omega goes up top, for a CROSSBODY! Omega rallies with Polish Hammer ax handles! The fans fire up as Omega spins, but Kyle dodges to kick low! Kyle whips, Omega reverses and fireman’s carries! The fans say along with Omega, “YOU! CAN’T! ESCAPE!” But Kyle slips free, kicks low, and says he just did escape. Kyle runs, but into a RANA from Omega! Kyle tumbles out while the fans fire up, and Omega feeds off that energy.
Omega kneels, the Terminator Drums start up, but Konosuke CLUBS Omega down! Don Callis approves as Konosuke brings Omega up, runs, but Ospreay jumps in! TIGER WALL KICK and ENZIGIRI! Omega adds the KOTARO CRUSHER! Tag to Ospreay, he does the Terminator kneel, and Omega joins in! More Terminator Drums, and then both men build speed! They both FLY! Down go Konosuke and Kyle on opposite ends of the ring! The fans are thunderous again and Ospreay is loving this! Omega puts Kyle in for Ospreay and Ospreay snap suplexes! Cover, TWO! Tag to Omega, they mug Kyle, and Kyle sputters.
Omega wrenches Kyle, tags Ospreay back in, and fans tell off Callis while Ospreay CHOPS Kyle! Ospreay throws hands on Kyle, tags Omega back in, then they double whip. Kyle KICKS Omega away, kicks Ospreay, then sends Ospreay into Omega! Ospreay TOSSES Ospreay out, BOOTS Omega down, then tags in Konosuke. Konosuke goes up while Kyle holds Omega down, SUPER SENTON! Cover, TWO! Omega stays in this but Konosuke clamps onto him with a rear bearhug. Omega reaches out, ROPEBREAK with a leg! Konosuke lets off in frustration to argue with the ref but ropebreaks are non-negotiable.
Konosuke drags Omega up, but Omega ROCKS him first! Omega fires haymakers, then a CHOP! And another CHOP! Omega whips, Konosuke reverses, and kitchen sink knee! Cover, TWO! Omega stays in this, but the gut is clearly the target. Konosuke puts Omega in a corner, fires body shots, then whips corner to corner. Konosuke runs up to forearm SMASH, then he whisp Omega corner to corner. Omega BOOTS back, and he SLAM DUNKS Konosuke! The fans fire up while Omega crawls, but so does Konosuke. Hot tags to Ospreay and Kyle! Ospreay ROCKS Kyle first, then springboards, but Kyle moves so the PIP PIP CHEERIO hits Konosuke!
Kyle SUPERKICKS Ospreay, Omega runs up but Kyle dodges! Omega blocks a superkick, to SNAP DRAGON SUPLEX! Kyle tumbles out, but Konosuke gets Omega with an EXPLODER! Konosuke runs up on Ospreay, but Ospreay puts him up top! Ospreay tucks Konosuke in and gives him CHEEKY NANDOS! Kyle storms back in, but Ospreay blocks a superkick! But Kyle ducks the elbow to ROCK Ospreay! Kyle runs, but into a STANDING SPANISH FLY! All four men are down and Brisbane is thunderous while AEW goes picture in picture!
A standing count begins on Ospreay and Kyle, and they slowly stir at 5 of 10. They rise up at 6, stand at 7, and Ospreay waits on Kyle at the ropes. Kyle turns around, Ospreay glares at him, and they go forehead to forehead. Ospreay CHOPS first! Ospreay eggs Kyle on, so Kyle comes back to CHOP! Ospreay staggers a couple steps but stays up, only firing the fans up more. Ospreay winds up to CHOP and Kyle sits down! Ospreay keeps the fans fired up, and he puts his hands back. Kyle chuckles, of course Ospreay wants more. Ospreay is doing a jig for the fans, but Kyle wants everyone to hush so they can hear this.
The crowd just gets rowdier so Kyle goes outside to hush them. Omega storms up to chase Kyle down! Kyle RAMS Omega through railing! Kyle mocks the cheering, but Omega is back to CHOP Kyle! Kyle staggers away, but now Konosuke brawls with Omega! Omega CHOPS Konosuke, Ospreay has Kyle for Kawada Kicks, and Grand Slam: Australia returns to single picture. Ospreay CHOPS, then he catches Kyle. Kyle elbows free, Ospreay HOOK KICKS! Ospreay runs, Kyle dodges, but Ospreay swings through the lariat! Ospreay reels Kyle in, but Kyle slips free and lifts Ospreay! RAN- NO! Kyle brings Ospreay back up, but Ospreay SATELLITE DDTS!!
The fans are thunderous again as Ospreay stands tall! Ospreay calls his shot, springboards, but Kyle stops the cutter! Inverted suplex, but then Ospreay TORNADO DDTS free! Konosuke is up, Ospreay BOOTS him down! Kyle grabs at the ref and Callis jumps off commentary! Callis grabs Ospreay’s leg! The fans boo, Ospreay kicks free, but Kyle gets him for a SNAP HALF ‘N’ HALF! The fans tell Callis off even more now, but Ospreay and Kyle crawl. They head for corners, hot tags to Omega and Konosuke! Omega and Konosuke DOUBLE LARIAT! And DOUBLE LARIAT! Konosuke SWATS a lariat, then feints the elbow for an ALPHA BODY BLOW!!
The fans boo and Omega coughs while leaning against the ropes. Konosuke whips, Omega reverses, but Konsouke ducks ‘n’ dodges, TAKESHITA LINE! Callis cheers Konosuke but Ospreay BOOTS Konosuke! Konosuke just comes back, so Ospreay gives him Kawada Kicks! ALPHA ELBOW!! Konosuke wags his finger at Ospreay, but Omega has the full nelson! Konosuke breaks free, standing switches, but Omega fights the lift! Victory roll, but Konosuke stifles that to wheelbarrow! Omega grabs Ospreay in desperation! Ospreay grabs the ropes in desperation, but Kyle is there! Kyle laughs and SLAPS Ospreay’s hands away! DOUBLE GERMAN SUPLEX!!
The fans fire up, there’s no denying Konosuke’s incredible strength! Kyle coordinates with Konosuke, and Konosuke goes up. Kyle suplexes Omega up to Konosuke, but then Omega SUPER STEINERS Konosuke away! Ospreay drags Kyle out of the ring, goes up the corner, and SKY TWISTERS!! Direct hit on Kyle, and Omega POWERBOMBS Konosuke! Flip over and V-TRIGGER!! Cover, TWO!! Konosuke survives, Callis breathes easier, and “This is Awesome!” Omega says BANG, then V- NO! Konosuke dodges, then gets Omega with a BLUE THUNDER BOMB!! Cover, TWO! Omega survives and the fans rally again.
Konosuke slashes his throat, vowing to end this. Konosuke scoops, Omega slips free and shoves, BLINDSIDE V-TRIGGER! Then a POISON-RANA! A rough landing for both men, Omega may have miscalculated on that one. Konosuke goes to a corner, the fans rally for Omega, and Omega runs corner to corner! BLINDSIDE V-TRIGGER! But Omega wants more! Omega hoists Konosuke up with the Electric Chair, and he goes up a corner?! The fans are already going nuts as Omega goes to tuck Konosuke! Konosuke fights that, but Ospreay is back! SUPER DUPER OSCUTTER!! Omega says he still wants more!
Omega says BANG, but Kyle slips in! SUPERKICK for Omega! The fans boo but Kyle runs in, HIDDEN BLADE from Ospreay!! Ospreay helps Omega stand, and tells him to do it! V-TRIGGER for Konosuke! Ospreay underhooks Kyle, Omega Electric Chair Lifts Konosuke! STEREO- WAIT, Kyle & Konosuke manage to flip both of these around into double gut wrenches! STEREO PILEDRIVERS!!! Cover, TWO?!?!? Omega & Ospreay both survive and Callis is furious! The fans are thunderous as they hope these teams “Fight Forever!” But this is just the opening match of the night, it has to end somehow!
Kyle & Konosuke step to Ospreay & Omega. Kyle & Konosuke fire forearms, but Ospreay & Omega give those back! The forearms go back and forth, the fans cheering Ospreay & Omega and booing the Callis Family! The shots go fast ‘n’ furious, Omega and Konosuke flop over but Ospreay fires a flurry on Kyle! But Kyle CLAWS Ospreay’s eyes! Kyle TOSSES Ospreay out, but Omega DECKS Kyle! ALPHA ELBOW for Omega! But Omega BOOTS Konosuke! Omega runs, but Konosuke blocks a boot! ALPHA ELBOW SUPERKICK COMBO!! Ospreay springboards in, into an ALPHA ELBOW SUPERKICK COMBO!!
Konosuke powers up, POWER DRIVE KNEE on Omega! Cover, TWO?!!? NOW Callis is pissed! But Kyle & Konosuke haul Omega up, ASSISTED BRAINBUSTER! Cover, OSPREAY BREAKS IT! Ospreay shields Omega but Kyle mockingly applauds. Kyle stomps away on Ospreay, drags him from Omega, but Omega holds onto Ospreay’s hand! But then Omega lets go so Ospreay can ROCK Kyle with forearm after forearm! ALPHA ELBOW! Kyle & Konosuke suplex Ospreay, but he STUN DOG MILLIONAIRES free! Konosuke swings, misses, HOOK KICK! Ospreay takes aim, HIDDEN- LARIAT from Konosuke!
Konosuke pulls down the kneepads, and he aims at Omega. POWER DRIVE- NO! Omega blocks the knee, ROCKS Konosuke, then ROCKS him again! ALPHA ELBOW! Konosuke roars, runs, but Omega V-TRIGGERS!! The fans are thunderous again and Omega catches his breath. Omega says this is it! Electric Chair, but Konosuke slips free! Konosuke waistlocks, Omega switches, but Konosuke backs him into a corner! Kyle urns up, GAMANGIRI for Omega! Kyle puts Omega up, then climbs. The fans boo but Omega SHOVES Kyle down! Konosuke BOOTS Omega, then climbs up! Konosuke is on the very top, but Omega trips him!
Konosuke hits the turnbuckle’s crossbar, he slumps over in the corner, and then Osprey FLIES over the corner to take out Kyle!! The fans are losing their minds, but hold on! Omega Electric Chair Lifts Konosuke, Ospreay climbs up! HIDDEN BLADE WINGED ANGEL!!! Cover, Best Bout Bruvs win!!!

AEW TBS Championship: Mercedes Mone VS Harley Cameron!
The CEO is the Four Belt Boss, but the one that started her collection is now on the line! Mercedes didn’t take this wild Aussie seriously, and she still doesn’t want to, but she’ll have to if she wants to stay Four Belts Mone. Will Mercedes still be the Face of TBS? Or will she #FeelTheWrath of Harley Cameron?
An interesting note: Momo Watanabe of Stardom, who also won the inaugural International Women’s Cup back at WrestleDynasty, is watching from the front row. She is allowed to call whatever women’s championship match she wants, and Mone has plenty of titles, could one of them be on Momo’s radar?
The introductions are made, the belt is raised, and we see who is golden on the Gold Coast!
The bell rings and the fans are all behind Harley. Mone eggs Harley on, but then dodges her to lounge on the top rope. The fans boo but Harley tells Mone to feel the wrath! Mone says alright! They tie up, go around, and Mone headlocks. Mone thrashes Harley, but Harley fights up, only for Mone to throw her down by her hair! The fans boo, the ref reprimands, but Mone scoops and SLAMS Harley! Mone tells Harley to just get out while she can. Harley storms up instead, but Mone waistlocks, Harley switches, O’Conner Rolls, TWO! Harley rebounds, ducks ‘n’ dodges, then tilt-o-whirls, to clinch and RUSSIAN LEG SWEEP!
The fans fire up as Harley keeps moving, SLIDING FLATLINER! Cover, TWO! Harley stays cool while the fans rally up. Harley brings Mone up, fireman’s carries, but Mone fights with elbows! Mone hooks the arms, Gory Especial, but Harley arm-drags free! Harley then headlocks, BULLDOG HOTSHOT! And an AX KICK while Mone is in the ropes! Harley holds Mone up and says, “Feel my wrath now!” And she smothers Mone with the melons!? That’s the wrath?! Harley goes and grabs PUPPET MONE! The fans cheer as Harley brings the puppet along, then goes up the corner. The fans cheer as Harley rains down fists!
The fans count along, and Harley goes all the way to nine, then Puppet- NO, Mone trips Harley up! Money then DOUBLE KNEES Harley, and she stomps away on #MiniMone! Mone PUNTS the puppet, then she CHOKES Harley! The ref reprimands, Mone stops, and Mone bumps Harley off buckles! Mone chokes Harley again, sits her down, then runs corner to corner, METEORA! Cover, TWO! Harley stays in this and the fans rally up. Mone stalks Harley, talks trash, then CHOKES Harley on ropes! The ref counts, Mone stops, then snapmares Harley, to then METEORA again! Cover, TWO! The fans rally for Harley while AEW goes picture in picture.
Mone drags Harley up, picks her up, and rebounds her off the ropes for a BACKBREAKER! Mone bends Harley against her knee, but Harley endures. Harley fires knees to get free! Mone comes back with a basment ENZIGIRI! Cover, TWO! Mone grows frustrated but she lets Harley crawl away to a corner. Mone storms up, talks trash, and then CHOPS Harley! Harley goes to a corner, Mone brings her around to snapmare, and Mone wraps Harley up in a seated Cobra Twist! Harley endures, even as Mone CLUBS away on her chest! Mone mockingly “puppets” Harley’s mouth, then pushes her down to throw KNEE after KNEE! Cover, TWO!
Harley toughs it out but Mone is still in control, and Grand Slam: Australia goes to break.
Grand Slam: Australia returns, and Mone soaks up the heat. The fans chant “C E NO!” as Mone lifts again, but Harley makes it a BULLDOG! Just a little bit of Stratusfaction here and the fans rally up. Mone staggers around, Harley fires forearms! Mone hits back, but Harley fires a flurry! Then a DOUBLE CHOP! Harley whips, LARIATS, and LARIATS again! Harley runs up, but Mone catches her, spins her, and snap suplexes her! The fans boo Una Amiga, and they boo Dos Amigas! They even boo THREE AMIGAS! Mone gives some Latina Heat but the fans still boo. Mone steps on Harley, then goes up the corner, and FROG SPLASHES onto knees!!
The fans cheer as Harley saves herself, then rolls Mone! TWO! Harley staggers to a corner, Mone runs up, but Harley BOOTS her! Mone comes back again, but Harley slips around to waistlock. Mone fights it, but Harley pump handles for the SAIDO! The fans fire up, Harley covers, TWO! Mone survives but the fans continue to rally behind Harley. Harley feels that energy, and she drags Mone up. Fireman’s carry, but Mone fights free! BACKSTABBER! Harley flounders and Mone basement DROPKICKS her out! Mone soaks up the heat, but wait! Harley has found Mini-Mone! And they’re both angry! Mone runs up, but Harley dodges!
Harley ROCKS Mone using the puppet! Then she DRIBBLES Mone off the apron! Harley puts Mone in the ring, shouts, “FEEL THE WRATH!” and the fans cheer her on! Harley climbs, bringing Mini-Mone with her. CROSSBODY! Harley bounces off the cover, but she reel Mone in, AUSTRALIAN DESTROYER!! Cover, TWO!!! Mone survives and Harley is shocked! Both women rise, and Harley brings Mone up. Harley runs, but Mone slips under to then Gory Especial! MONEY- NO, Harley trips her! Jackknife bridge, TWO! Mone reels Harley in, gets her up, and POWERBOMBS her down!
The fans boo Mone showing off some strength, but then Mone goes up the corner. Harley sits up, into a METEORA! Cover, TWO!! Harley survives and the fans are thunderous! Mone is beside herself, but Harley ghost pins her! TWO!! Harley hurries to Oklahoma Roll! TWO! Harley whips, Mone reverses, but Harley goes up and over, to sunset flip! TWO! Mone scrambles to her feet, but Harley drop toeholds her into buckles! Harley runs side to side, for a 619!! If Mone is Eddie, Harley is ready to be Rey Mysterio! She climbs up, to SWANTON FLOP as Mone moves! Mone hooks Harley up again, MONEY MAKER!! Cover, Mone wins!
Winner: Mercedes Mone, by pinfall (still AEW TBS Champion)
The CEO grins as she holds onto all of her gold, much to the chagrin of Brisbane. But if Harley did this well on her first try, will we see them run this one back soon enough? Meanwhile, Momo is there to sarcastically applaud Mone. Mone pie faces Momo with the TBS Championship, then swaggers away. Did the CEO just make Momo’s choice of championships that much easier?
Omega & Ospreay regroup backstage.
The Cleaner says, “As happy as I should be teaming with my good buddy, Will Ospreay, I’m still kinda pissed a little bit. Because for an entire year, I had to listen to people like you, Takeshita, people like Don Callis, talk about how you beat me twice in one week. How the International title is the pinnacle of this title because you’re defending it all over the world. Well listen here, Takeshita. You really wanna prove that you’re the best? You really wanna prove that you’re the rightful champion? I’ve got the time and I’ve got the place: Revolution, Los Angeles. Put that International title on the line and see if you can say you beat Kenny Omega three times.”
Omega says Ospreay has something in store for Kyle now, right? Ospreay says yes, mate! He never could’ve imagined he and Omega would be on the same team, but y’know what he never imagined either? Stepping into his own country, Kyle Fletcher’s own country of Australia, isn’t cheering him! They’re cheering Ospreay! But every time Kyle got an advantage on Ospreay, it wasn’t because of Kyle’s own talent! And as talented as Kyle is, he’s not good enough, because he has to get the Family in on this! Well let Ospreay tell you this, lad: They won’t be by Kyle’s side! They’re gonna be locked away while Ospreay and Kyle are locked in!

Speaking of common enemies, The Rated R Superstar and the Switchblade have put aside their differences to deal with The Death Riders, who have been holding the AEW World Championship hostage ever since they demolished Bryan Danielson. Will the WWE Grand Slam Champion and the NJPW Grand Slam Champion combine to hit THE Grand Slam in Australia? Or will The Maniac, the Swiss Cyborg, and possibly the rest of the Death Riders, make them regret ever picking this fight?
The fans sing along with Metalingus for Cope and he loves it! White then makes his entrance, no lyrics to sing in his song. The Death Riders make their entrance last, coming in from the crowd as always. But as soon as they’re ringside, Cope JUMPS onto Moxley, and White knocks Claudio down! The fans fire up, the bell rings, but the Brisbane Brawl is already going as Cope and White send Moxley and Claudio into railing! They get both men in the ring, then in corners! Cope & White climb up, and they rain down fists! The fans count along, and we go all the way to TEN! Then they trade, LARIATS for Claudio & Moxley!
Cope & White DOUBLE LARIAT Moxley up and out, but Claudio runs in! Cope & White TOSS Claudio up and out, then the brawl returns to the outside! White goes after Moxley, Cope RIPS Claudio’s shirt off to beat him with it! Claudio hits Cope back, sends him through railing and into the crowd! White and Moxley fight up the ramp! Moxley CHOKES White, Claudio JAMS Cope up, but then White sends Moxley into railing! Cope and Claudio fight up the bleachers, and Claudio SMACKS Cope off guardrails! White sends Moxley into railing, and now they go into the crowd! Claudio soaks up the heat, and he HEADBUTTS Cope!
White brings a table out, but Marina stands in his way! Moxley CLUBS White down and the fans boo. Marina continues to be a Problem, but Moxley puts White in the ring. Moxley aims from a corner, runs up, but into a DDT! Cope is meanwhile trying to navigate his way to the upper deck, but Moxley gets out of the ring. Moxley goes under, and he brings out something. White PLANCHAS into a trash can lid! White falls in a heap, but Cope is up in the “vomitorium!” Cope stands on the ledge, the fans fire up, and Cope runs to LEAP! Direct hit on Claudio and the fans go nuts! Moxley ignores all that to grab some other stuff.
Cope catches his breath, but Moxley CHOKES White with a chair! White sputters, so Moxley CLAWS his face! Moxley tells Marina to help with the table, but the fans chant, “Moxley is a Wanker!” Cope makes his way back to ringside while Moxley just taunts the fans back. Moxley finishes setting the table up, and then he drags White over. Moxley pushes White onto the table, then he rains down fists! White can barely guard, but Moxley CHOKES him! Moxley goes up the corner, but Cope ROCKS him first! The fans cheer as Cope fires hands! Moxley wobbles, Cope goes up there, and Cope brings Moxley up!
Moxley fights the superplex, and Marina SMACKS Cope with a kendo stick! And SMACKS him again! White snatches the stick from Marina! But Claudio YANKS White down to UPPERCUT him down! Claudio gets under Cope, to POWERBOMB him through the table!! The fans boo as the Death Riders stand tall, and AEW goes picture in picture.
The ref checks Cope and he’s somehow still int his. But The Death Riders mug White, Marina again using the kendo stick! Moxley puts White in the ring, grabs up the chair and the trash can lid, then goes looking for some more things. Moxley found the trash can, but White uses the lid to SMACK Claudio! Moxley hurries in, but White SMACKS him! Claudio comes back to GUT WRENCH PLEX White! Moxley tells Claudio to do the thing! GIANT SWING! White goes around again and again, and again, and then at TEN, TRASH CAN CRASH!! Moxley shows off the dented can while Claudio wedges the chair into a corner.
Moxley drags White up, puts him on ropes, and makes sure fans watch as he fires crossface forearms! Moxley stops and White sputters, but Marina gets a cheap shot in! Cope reels Moxley in, but Mxley wernches out ot PARADIGM SHIFT! Moxley calls to Claudio, and then he POSTS Cope! Cope falls out, back to the wreckage of the table! Wait, Claudio brings in a new table! The Death Riders set that up in a corner, but White is back! White fires off with the kendo stick! He even breaks it apart on Claudio’s body!! The fans fire up as White just SMACKS away! But then Moxley grabs it! Claudio RAMS White into the chair! Claudio drags White up, Electric Chair, and Moxley goes up! But White slips free and shoves Claudio into Moxley! Claudio runs up on White, but White sends him into a CHAIR! BLADERUNNER!!
The fans are thunderous, White crawls to a cover, but WHEELER YUTA appears! The Decoder LASHES White with a belt! The fans boo as Yuta keeps hitting White, but White just gets pissed! White takes those shots, the fans fire up as he does, and then he clinches Yuta! BLADERUNNER!!! But Moxley CURB STOMPS White! But Cope trips Moxley, and YANKS him into the post! Moxley’s Little Jon just got crushed! Cope fires up, the fans are with him, and Cope aims at Claudio! But Claudio UPPERCUTS first! Claudio reels Cope in, but Cope BACKDROPS free! SPEAR through the table!!! Moxley gets back up, Cope SPEARS him, too!!
Cope goes outside, the fans cheer on “A E DUB! A E DUB!” while Cope searches. Cope brings out a chair wrapped in barbed wire! The fans tell Cope he’s sick, but he SMACKS Moxley with the barbed-wire chair again and again! Moxley writhes, but Cope isn’t done! He presses Moxley’s head onto the chair, and then grabs the barbed-wire chair! But Yuta storms in to snatch that away! And Marina CLOBBERS Cope with the briefcase! Claudio hauls Cope up, to NEUTRALIZER!! Cover, TWO?!?! Cope survives, but Moxley clamps on a BULLY CHOKE!!! Cope claws at the mat, but Moxley vows to break Cope’s neck!
White fights against Yuta and Claudio but ends up in a SLEEPER!! The fans rally for Cope, and Cope grits his teeth as he knuckles under! Cope’s face is red like his ring gear, but then Moxley smothers that second wind! The ref calls it, Death Riders win!!

The Rainmaker likes to throw around “the B word” a lot, acting as if everyone is beneath him. But the Aussie Juggernaut thinks Okada’s the biggest B of them all! What happens now that there’s no running and hiding from this fight?
The introductions are made, the belt is raised, and let’s see who is not b*tch!
The bell rings, the fans rally, and the two step up. Buddy offers a handshake, but Okada just gives him a middle finger. The fans boo but Buddy smirks. The two circle, tie up, and Buddy headlocks to hit a takeover. Okada headscissors, Buddy kips free. Okada hits the takeover, Buddy headscissors, Okada kips free. Buddy headlocks, Okada powers out, and they RAM shoulders! Both men stay up and the fans cheer. The two tie up again, Buddy puts Okada on the ropes, but then Buddy copies Okada’s famous fake out! Okada turns things around on Buddy, gives his own fake out, and then pie faces Buddy!
The fans rally, Buddy waistlocks, but Okada switches. They switch, and switch, then Okada shoves. Buddy ducks ‘n’ dodges, then avoids the dropkick! Buddy flips Okada to his feet, but Okada avoids the stomp! And the knee! Ripcord, but Buddy avoids the lariat! Buddy shoves, follows, and RANAS! Okada tumbles out, the fans fire up, and Buddy builds speed, only for Okada to slide in! But Buddy slides and stares Okada down! The fans bark behind this Hound of Hell, and Buddy flips Okada off. Okada bails out and says he wants his belt. Okada wants to just leave? The fans boo but Buddy grabs a mic.
“Okada-san! Okada-san! I know I’ve been calling you a b*tch. But over here, you’re just being an absolute wanker!” Okada gets mad and he storms back in! The two tie up, Okada puts Buddy on the ropes, and then Okada lets off slowly. Okada fakes Buddy out again, but then ROCKS him with a forearm! The fans still chant at Okada, “You’re a Wanker!” Buddy comes back to ROCK Okada! Okada ROCKS Buddy! The forearms go back and forth, Buddy CHOPS, and then whips. Okada reverses and ROCKS Buddy, then runs to CLUB him! Okada fires more shots, then runs again, but Buddy kitchen sink knees! And PENALTY KCISK! And KNEE DROPS! Cover, TWO!
Buddy is annoyed but he stalks Okada outside. APRON BACK SUPLEX! The fans cheer while Buddy stalks Okada back into the ring. Buddy stands Okada up to UPPERCUT, but Okada bails out again. Buddy storms out, puts Okada back in, and Buddy goes up the corner. METE- NO, Okada avoids the meteora, but not a BOOT! Buddy runs, but into a FLAPJACK! Okada runs in, but into an ELBOW! Buddy goes up, but Okada DROPKICKS him down! Buddy goes to apron then floor, clutches a leg, and AEW goes picture in picture.
Okada takes his time rolling out of the ring. Okada stalks Buddy, stands him up, and RAMS him into railing! Buddy staggers, Okada goes back to the ring, and the ring count climbs. Buddy hobbles up at 7 to slide in at 8! But Okada’s on him with a DDT! Cover, TWO! Okada is a bit annoyed, but he stalks Buddy to ropes. Okada stands Buddy up, whips him to the corner, then runs in for a BACK ELBOW! Buddy falls and Okada just waits on him, but Grand Slam goes to break.
Grand Slam returns and Buddy pushes Okada into the ring. Buddy hurries up the corner as Okada stands. Buddy METEORAS! But again, Buddy clutches his leg! Buddy crawls to the cover, TWO! Okada stays in this, but Buddy pump handles. Okada victory rolls through, TWO! Buddy runs up, Okada pops him up, REVERSE NECKBREAKER! Okada grins, then drags Buddy up, scoop and SLAM! Okada goes up the corner, then MACHO ELBOWS! The fans boo but Okada winds up, Rainmaker MIDDLE FINGER! Okada flip soff Buddy, but Buddy grabs the finger! Buddy bends the finger, but Okada BOOTS Buddy again and again!
Buddy still bends the finger, then he blocks the boot. Okada ROCKS Buddy, ripcords, but Buddy reels him in! GO TO SLEEP!! Okada drops to his knees, CURB- NO, Okada dodges and ripcords, RAINMAKER! Buddy is in disbelief, as are the fans! Okada bails out, Buddy hurries after him, but Okada kicks low! DDT to the floor! The fans boo more but Okada drags Buddy back up. Okada puts Buddy in the ring, then climbs up the corner. Buddy KNEES Okada first! Buddy climbs, brings Okada up, and he SUPERPLEX! Then roll through for the JACKHAMMER!! Cover, TWO?!?!? Okada survives, but Buddy shouts out Mami with THE PRISM TRAP!!! Okada endures being bent, but he powers up to fight forward! Buddy drags him away!! Okada rolls, Buddy almost runs into the ref! Okada runs up, he’s sent at the ref!
Buddy grabs Okada, Okada grabs the ref, and then Okada MULE KICK LOW BLOWS!! RAINMAKER!! Cover, Okada wins!!

Tony Khan is upping the ante on things, we’re getting an International Championship Series! This Wednesday, Dynamite in Phoenix, will see former champions face off! Orange Cassidy VS Roderick Strong, the winner getting a title shot on Wednesday, February 26th! And then, whether it is Cassidy, Roddy or Konosuke, the International Champion will defend their championship against Kenny Omega in Los Angeles! Who makes it out of this revolutionary series with the gold around their waist?
AEW Women’s World Championship: Mariah May VS Toni Storm!
The Glamour buttered up her role model so she could share the spotlight. However, it would seem Mariah was really just waiting for her chance to take everything away from Toni. All In: London was an instant classic, but it would seem Toni was taking her time to craft its sequel. Will the Woman From Hell make it another dramatic tragedy? Or will the AEW Women’s Division once again be Timeless?
Well, speaking of cinema, Luther is dressed like a movie usher, and he hushes the crowd before pointing to the stage. Toni’s old theme plays, and then the film flies off the reel. The lights go down, and back in black ‘n’ white, it’s Timeless Toni! The introductions are made, the belt is raised, and it’s time for another box office smash!
The bell rings and the fans fire up already. Mariah and Toni stare down, or perhaps have a scowl off? The two storm up, tie up, then just fire hands! The fans cheer as Toni gets the edge! Toni whips Mariah, Mariah reverses, but Toni goes up and over! Toni comes back to THESZ PRESS! Toni rains down fast hands and the fans cheer! Toni lets Mariah go to a corner, just so she can stomp a mudhole into her! The fans cheer but the ref counts. Toni backs off, the fans sing “F her up Toni, F her up!” Mariah runs up, SLINGBLADE! Mariah then runs to SHOTGUN Toni back down! Mariah stomps Toni now, but stops as the ref counts.
The fans sing for “Toni! Toni Storm~! Toni, Toni Storm~!” Mariah is annoyed by that, and she talks some trash. Mariah fireman’s carries, Toni slips free, GERMAN SUPLEX! Mariah flounders, Toni drags her back, GERMAN SUPLEX! Mariah sputters again but fans want that “One More Time!” Toni obliges, GERMAN SUPLEX! Mariah tumbles, rises, but then flops back over! Toni drags Mariah up, and GERMAN SUPLEXES again! That’s four, Brisbane is now Suplex City! Toni stalks Mariah, the fans chant, “RIP HER T*TS OFF!” GERMAN SUPLEX! That’s a fifth, Toni stalks Mariah to ropes, but is Mariah smiling?
Mariah slowly rises, Toni GERMAN SUPLEXES again! Mariah goes to the apron, Toni storms out after her, and waistlocks out there?! The fans fire up but Mariah holds on for her life! Mariah HOTSHOTS Toni, then YANKS her down! Mariah has a sinister smile now, and she runs at Toni to SHOTGUN her into railing! Toni slumps down, Mariah crawls away, and Luther is displeased while AEW goes picture in picture.
Fans help Toni up, but then she flops right back over. Mariah stands, and then she storms up to Luther. Luther rallies the fans, but Mariah brings Toni around to SMACK her off the apron! Mariah then whips Toni hard into railing! Mariah snatches a fan’s sign that praises Toni, and RIPS it up! Mariah makes fun of the closeup, then taunts the fans. Mariah stalks Toni, but again tells Luther to back off. Mariah puts Toni in the ring, stalks her to a corner, then digs her boot in. The ref counts, Mariah steps off at 4, and Toni sputters along the ropes. Mariah kicks her down, but Luther coaches Toni up.
Mariah scoops Toni, for the SPINOUT SIDEWALK SLAM! Mariah put some extra rotations on that one! Cover, TWO! Toni stays in this, but Mariah taunts the fans. Mariah mockingly applauds Toni, SLAPS her, then bumps her off buckles. Mariah whips Toni corner to corner, runs up and UPPERCUTS! Mariah keeps Toni standing in the corner, to whip the other way! Grand Slam returns to single picture and Mariah UPPERCUTS again! The fans boo, but Mariah whips corner to corner. Toni comes back to LARIAT! And LARIAT! And SKY HIGH! Cover, TWO! Mariah survives but Toni steps on her!
Toni has the legs, ties those up, and the fans cheer for the DEATHLOCK STF COMBO! The fans rally, Mariah endures, but Toni grinds her down with the STF! But then Mariah BITES Toni’s arm!! Toni DRIBBLES Mariah’s face off the mat, then it’s back to the STF!! The fans cheer as Mariah suffers! Mariah reaches out, crawls her way over, and has the ROPEBREAK! Toni lets Mariah go in frustration, but she stalks Mariah to the apron. Toni drags Mariah up, but Mariah pushes free! Toni HEADBUTTS her, and Mariah sits down! Toni runs up, but Mariah dodges! Toni POSTS herself, and then Mariah fireman’s carries! MAYDAY to the floor!!
The fans rally while both women are down on the outside. Toni stirs, as does Mariah, and the ref starts a ring count. Luther rallies Brisbane, but Mariah is on Toni first. Mariah puts Toni in, then climbs. The fans continue to rally behind Toni, but Mariah is up top! MISSILE DROPKICK! Toni ends up in the other corner, and the fans boo as Mariah backs up. Mariah grins as she takes aim, mocks the closeup again, and HIP ATTACKS! Mariah then brings Toni up, but Toni fireman’s carries! She steals MAYDAY!! Cover, TWO!! Mariah survives her own move, but Toni rises again. Toni skips the closeup, HIP ATTACK!!
Toni snarls and keeps moving, HIP ATTACK!! Toni roars and the fans are thunderous, as we get a third HIP ATTACK!! Toni then hits STORM ZERO!!! Cover, TWO?!?! Mariah survives and Toni cannot believe it! The fans rally as hard as they can behind Toni as she drags Mariah back up. Mariah is a ragdoll, but Toni still brings her around. Toni fireman’s carries, but Mariah slips free! SAIDO!! Mariah was playing possum, learning how to act from Toni herself! MAYDAY AGAIN!! But Mariah isn’t done! Fireman’s carry for another MAYDAY!!! Cover, TWO!?!?!? Toni survives and Brisbane is erupting!
Mariah is furious with the ref, but referee Aubrey Edwards pushes her down! Aubrey tells Mariah to respect her authority! Mariah goes back to Toni, brings her back up, and she SLAPS Toni! And SLAPS her! And SLAPS, SLAPS, SLAPS! The fans boo, Mariah tells Toni to just go away! Mariah then hoists Toni up top, but Toni says no to the Stratusphere! Mariah DOUBLE CHOPS Toni for that, then climbs up! Mariah gives Toni a kiss goodbye, but Toni slips under! RUNNING POWERBOMB!! And then STORM ZERO!! Mariah flounders out of the ring! Toni has Mariah’s wrist, and she refuses to let Mariah get away!
Toni drags Mariah back in, but Mariah YANKS Toni into buckles! Mariah runs up to HEADBUTT! Mariah reels Toni in, and steals STORM ZERO!!! Mariah drags Toni up for another fireman’s carry, but Toni fights free! Cradle, TONI WINS!!!
Winner: Toni Storm, by pinfall (NEW AEW Women’s World Champion)
A sudden turnaround, and Toni is triumphant! The hero has prevailed, and is now the historic FOUR-TIME AEW Women’s World Champion! Australia cheers for their leading lady, but this makes Toni and Mariah 1-1. Everyone loves a good trilogy, when and where will we get this story’s final act?
My Thoughts:
A great event for AEW here, though being tape delayed even just from Saturday morning in America to Saturday night, I had to watch out for spoilers. Didn’t work out, and I have unfollowed those accounts, but I kept most of this event untainted. Awesome opening tag match, and of course a great win for the Best Bout Bruvs. And logically, they set up big matches for Revolution. Ospreay VS Fletcher in a cage match is going to be awesome, but you can bet Mark Davis will be a deciding factor. Omega VS Konosuke for the International Championship will be awesome, but I guess Tony Khan is trying to smokescreen that happening with this series of matches. Cassidy VS Roddy will still be a great match, as will whatever we get after, but no, it’ll still be Omega VS Konosuke and I would think Omega wins.
The Brisbane Brawl was great stuff, but where the heck was Spike? How lame to bring that item back and then not bring it across the Pacific Ocean. But of course Yuta and Marina helped Moxley & Claudio win, Death Riders need that momentum going into Revolution. That’s not to say Cope is going to win just because of this, but it certainly sets up Cope for the comeback. Similarly, we have to see White & The Gunns reunite as the Bang Bang Gang going up against Claudio, Yuta & Pac for the trios titles, maybe even for Revolution. I still say this needs to come down to the Death Riders losing the trios titles so that all eggs are in one basket with the world title.
And then the Aussie win-loss record tonight went how I expected. Harley looked great against Mone, but yeah, of course Mone wins. Especially given they teased Mone VS Momo here. I would think Mone VS Momo is for the NJPW Strong Women’s Championship, with the main focus being that it’s about Momo beating Mone and having that victory really add to her résumé. Okada VS Buddy was also great, but similarly, Buddy just got to look great in defeat. At least they kept Buddy strong and added to Okada’s Heel Heat with that low blow. Buddy could probably fight his way to a rematch for Revolution or we get Brody coming for revenge, there should be a bit more out of this feud.
But the one win that was going to happen, the one I got spoiled on because it was so monumental, was Toni Storm getting her true revenge on Mariah May. It was a great match, roughly on par with All In: London, and it is only fitting that if Mariah won in her home country of England, Toni would win in her home of Australia. And as I noted, this does make Toni and Mariah 1-1 so you can bet they’ll try for the tiebreaker at some point, with Revolution being a logical place. A part of me wishes they’d kept the “Rookie” Toni gag going so that Rookie Toni would’ve been the one that beat Mariah, only to reveal she’s been Timeless all along, but the Timeless character is so good and fans love it so much, I guess they couldn’t resist going back to it.

The bell rings and the fans rally for “SPEEDBALL! SPEEDBALL!” All four men watch each other, and Davis sticks out like a sore thumb as the biggest guy here. Cassidy rolls through the middle of the group, and the fans cheer! Ricochet and Davis aren’t amused but Bailey applauds. The four feel things out, Davis knuckle locks with Bailey, but Cassidy is a bit more reluctant. Ricochet knuckle locks with Bailey, but Cassidy is still reluctant. Ricochet breaks with Bailey to headlock Cassidy. Bailey fires KICKS on Davis, Cassidy powers out but Bailey sidesteps Ricochet. Cassidy arm-drags Ricochet, Davis waistlocks Bailey.
Bailey elbows free, Cassidy runs up but Bailey sends him into Cassidy! Davis rebounds, Cassidy drops down, Bailey TOSSES Davis out! The fans fire up and now the high-fliers all stand off. The fans fire up but Davis just scowls. Bailey CHOPS again! Davis eggs Bailey on, so Bailey CHOPS again! The fans “WOO~” but Davis roars! Bailey kicks, Davis blocks, and then Davis CHOPS Bailey down! Cassidy is back, Davis CHOPS him down, too! The fans boo but Davis stalks Bailey to a corner. Davis stands Bailey up to CHOP LARIAT! Ricochet joins commentary at this moment just to say he’s not a dummy who’s gonna get beat up in that ring. He’s letting Davis do all the work! Davis drags Cassidy up, CHOP LARIATS him in a corner, then goes back to Davis. The ref tells Ricochet to get in the ring but Ricochet tells the ref to shut up.
Davis TOSSES Bailey, Ricochet says he knows when to pick his spots. Ricochet steps off commentary, the fans tell Callis off while Davis scoops and SLAMS Cassidy! Davis soaks up the heat, stands Bailey up and CHOKES him int he corner! Ricochet slithers in to cover Cassidy! Davis hears the count and drags Ricochet up! Davis TOSSES Ricochet up and out of the ring! But Bailey- Well, he tries to roll Davis up but Davis is sturdy. Cassidy runs up and CROSSBODIES, but Davis catches him! He tells Callis to shut up and back off while he talks with Justin Roberts. The announcement comes in: As a result of a pinfall, challenging Kenny Omega for the title will be… “Speedball” Mike Bailey AND Ricochet!

With Revolution’s main event being more or less interrupted by quite a few others, namely Christian Cage and his Casino Gauntlet Contract cash-in, The Maniac stayed the champion, but nothing between him and the Rated R Superstar had been settled. Now they’re just throwing the rulebook out into the cold Nebraska night as they turn up the heat! Will Moxley still find a way to survive? Or will he have to cope with a devastating loss?
Moxley is only now entering the arena from the parking lot, BUT COPE IS THERE TO ATTACK! The fans fire up seeing this on the tron, and the bell rings now to get this all on record! Cope SMACKS Moxley off the semi-truck’s trailer, then SMACKS him off it again! Then Cope shoves Moxley into the back of the trailer, and they brawl around all these power tools, props and cases! Cope SMACKS Moxley off the side again, then finds one of Jeff Jarrett’s guitars! Cope SMACKS Moxley in the leg, then fires more forearms! Moxley staggers towards the exit, but Cope runs up to swing and DROPKICK Moxley into the garage door!
Moxley slumps down, Cope throws off his vest, and Cope drags Moxley back up. Cope and Moxley scrap, and now Moxley sends Cope into the garage door! Moxley grabs the briefcase and runs inside. Cope pursues, CLUBS Moxley along the hallway, and the ref has found them. Moxley uses the briefcase as a weapon to JAM and CLOBBER Cope! Moxley says Cope wanted a Street Fight in Omaha, so let’s go to Omaha! Cope hits back, he headlocks Moxley and brings him along. The brawling continues, Moxley gets his jacket off, but Cope claws at his head! Cope SMACKS Moxley off road cases, then brings him around a corner. They end up going through the curtain and to the crowd!

Cope goes looking under the ring, and he brings out a trash can! Cope runs up to SMASH Moxley with the can! Moxley ends up by commentary, Cope storms over to bring him around. The fans rally for Cope as he snap suplexes Moxley to the floor! Moxley writhes and staggers away. Cope runs up to BOOT Moxley down! Moxley takes a seat, and Cope rains down forearms! Cope DUMPS Moxley over into the crowd, and then pursues again. The fans fire up as Cope storms up and CLOBBERS Moxley into the boards! The fans fire up as Cope CHUCKS a trash can at Moxley’s head! Moxley staggers away, Cope has a beer can and he SMACKS Moxley with it! Moxley is dazed as he leans on the barriers, and Cope fires forearms and CHOPS! The fans fire up being even closer to the action, but Moxley ROCKS Cope in return! Cope ROCKS Mox, Mox ROCKS Cope! Cope ROCKS Moxley again, but Moxley hits back again! The fans are thunderous as Cope climbs up to join Mox! But Moxley CLAWS Cope’s eyes! And he BITES Cope’s face! Then underhooks and PARADIGM SHIFT on the desk!! Cope flops to the floor while Moxley dusts himself off. The ref checks Cope while Dynamite goes picture in picture.

Surely, Omaha is fired up again as Cope stands this table up at ringside. Moxley crawls away, has a chair, but Cope CLUBS him first! Cope whips, but Moxley reverses, and now Cope hits steel steps! Cope falls in a heap, Moxley grabs that chair and puts it in the ring. Moxley fetches Cope, puts him in the ring, and Dynamite returns to single picture. Moxley has the chair, takes aim, and he SMACKS Cope on the back! The fans boo while Cope writhes, and Moxley SMACKS him again! Moxley CHOKES Cope with the chair, having it sit on his neck! Moxley flips off the fans while they boo more, but Cope still refuses to give up.
Moxley lets off Cope and he tells the ref to back off. Moxley puts the chair around Cope’s neck! The fans boo as Moxley wants to do Cope like he did Bryan Danielson and Chuck Taylor! But then Moxley goes up the corner?! The fans boo, but Cope stands! Cope CHUCKS the chair at Moxley! Moxley teeters up top, Cope climbs up after him, and Cope CLAWS Moxley’s back! Cope brings Moxley up, to SUPER DUPER PLEX! Both men writhe, and Prince Nana is watching backstage. Swerve is still down and out after what Moxley did to him on Saturday, so Nana is keeping an eye on this match on Swerve’s behalf.

Moxley checks his face while the fans rally up. Cope goes out of the ring, and he looks under the ring. IT’S SPIKE! Cope brings his little friend into the ring, but Moxley hits a CUTTER! Moxley goes out, and he brings out a second TABLE! The fans are torn, they love tables but don’t like Moxley. Moxley puts this table in the ring, sets it up in a corner, but Cope gets Spike back! Cope SMACKS Moxley in the gut!! The fans go nuts, but then Cope SMACKS Moxley on the back! Cope puts Spike down, and suplexes Moxley onto Spike!! Moxley writhes as Spike sticks inside Moxley’s back!! Cope reaches a hand out to his friend, but Dax doesn’t take it? Even Cash is surprised by that! Cash tries to talk with Dax but Dax pushes him away? Well, you can’t spell frustrated without FTR, but at least Cash hugs it out with Cope. Omaha gives Cope a standing ovation, but will Cope ever have a world title again?
Backstage interview with Bandido.
Renee Paquette is with The Most Wanted, and brings up the horrible things Chris Jericho did at Revolution. How have he and his family been since then? Bandido says wrestling, lucha libre, it runs in his veins. And he knows the dangers, he can handle them. But what Chris Jericho did to his brother, Gravity, and how that was the first AEW show their mother and sister ever attended, it was humiliating! Jericho made Bandido’s mother cry in front of him, and Bandido will never forgive Jericho for that! So on Slam Dunk Sunday Night Collision, Bandido hopes Jericho shows up and acts like a man! Bring Gravity’s mask and give it back!
But Johnny TV steps in and somewhat sarcastically says wow, Bandido’s whole family was embarrassed and his mom cried on camera. WHO CARES?! Bandido thinks he deserves to sit in the ring like a sad puppy on Slam Dunk Sunday, perhaps the biggest Collision in history? That’s not ratings gold! Ratings gold would be Bandido VS Johnny TV, and Johnny slam dunks Bandido’s head! Bigger ratings than the Super Bowl! What do you say, “amigo?” Bandido says okay, amigo. Challenge accepted! Johnny says great! Johnny heads out, but will Bandido the one dunking on Johnny?

The Aerial Assassin called his shot at the AEW World Championship for All In: Texas! He also claimed that he’d get in the Owen Hart Memorial Tournament, win the Cup, and challenge for the world title as this year’s King of Harts. Will that long road to Globe Life Field begin now? Or will tonight be the Whole Fox’n Show?
The bell rings and the fans rally up. Ospreay offers a handshake, Fox takes it, and the fans cheer. They circle, tie up, and Ospreay wrenches to a wristlock. The fans sing “OSPREAY~, OSPREAY OSPREAY OSPREAY~!” Fox rolls, wrenches, wristlocks back, but Ospreay spins and trips Fox up. Cover, ONE! Fox ducks a buzzsaw, waistlocks, but Ospreay elbows free. Ospreay whips, Fox ducks ‘n’ dodges to tilt-o-whirl, but Ospreay slips around to waistlock. Fox bucks the O’Conner, rolls back, CUTTER but Ospreay handstands through! Ospreay wags his finger, gets running, and springboards to OSCUTTER, but Fox handstands through!
The fans fire up, Ospreay trips Fox but Fox UP KICKS Ospreay! Both men kip up, and the fans cheer the standoff! Ospreay smiles and nods, and the two reset. Ospreay checks his back for a second, still feeling that Steel Cage match from Revolution. The fans cheer as Ospreay and Fox circle again. They knuckle lock, then Fox kicks low! Fox CLUBS Ospreay’s back again and again, then kicks low, But Ospreay turns things around to CHOP! Ospreay whips, Fox grabs ropes, then Fox DUMPS Ospreay out! Ospreay lands on the apron, but Fox sweeps the leg! Ospreay is down, Fox runs and slingshots to DOUBLE STOMP on the apron!
The fans are torn while Ospreay sputters into the ring. Fox slingshots and gator rolls Ospreay into a suplex, but STUN DOG MILLIONAIRE strikes back! Fox tumbles out, the fans fire up, and Ospreay uses that energy to PLANCHA! Down goes Fox and the fans fire up again! Ospreay stretches out that back while Dynamite goes picture in picture.
Ospreay grits his teeth as he goes back for Fox. Fox RAMS Ospreay into the apron! Ospreay sputters, Fox grabs a chair, and Fox makes Ospreay take a seat. Fox rains down fists, refreshes the ring count, then takes a lap around the ring! Fox builds speed and comes back around, but Ospreay BOOTS Fox down! Now Ospreay refreshes the ring count, drags Fox over and makes him take a seat. Ospreay rallies the fans and takes that same lap around the ring. But Fox slides into the ring and FLIES onto Ospreay at the ramp! Fox puts Ospreay in the ring, goes up a corner, and SWANTON BOMBS! Cover, TWO!
Fox is frustrated that Ospreay survives, but Fox clamps on a REAR BEARHUG. Ospreay endures the squeeze, fights up, and he throws elbows. Ospreay is free but Fox CLUBS him on the back! Fox whips, but Ospreay CLOBBERS him! Ospreay hauls Fox up to back suplex, but Fox makes it a CROSSBODY! Cover, TWO! Fox is again frustrated, but he clamps back on with the REAR BEARHUG! Ospreay gets the fans even more fired up, and he aims from a corner. Fox stands, into a HOOK KICK! Fox falls forward, Ospreay prepares the elbow! HIDDEN- NO, Fox ducks under and BASEMENT CUTTERS! Ospreay staggers, Fox runs up to BOOT him in the corner!
Fox hoists Ospreay up top, then climbs up again. But Ospreay slips under, tucks Fox in, CHEEKY NA- NO! Fox pops up and over! Ospreay BOOTS Fox, goes up, but Fox GAMANGIRIS! Renee remarks that it is officially going to be Moxley VS Swerve at AEW Dynasty, then welcomes in The Cowboy. Hangman steps in, and Renee says that while she has a feeling she already knows the answer, she will still ask the question. “What are your thoughts on this match being official?” Hangman says he has said this a thousand times. He vows to never let Swerve Strickland hold the AEW World Championship again. Hangman is nothing if not a man of his word. But after beating MJF at Revolution, Hangman will not let his vision be solely focused on someone else. His focus will be on himself.
And while many people have been jumping the gun to enter The Owen, Hangman will join the party. Hangman will win the Owen Hart Foundation Cup to then go on, challenge for and become the NEW AEW World Champion. Even if it’s Swerve. The Cowboy joins The Aerial Assassin, what other dangerous names will put their names in the hat?

How surprised was she by Billie out there? Mone admits, “that kid” did put up a fight. That kid, Billie, has a lot of heart. But it takes more than heart to beat Mone. Who trained her? Who mentored her? Whoever did knows nothing about pro-wrestling. If Mone had trained Billie, Billie might’ve had a chance at beating Mone for the title. HAHAHA! But no, who’s she kidding? Billie still would not have won, because Mone is the greatest TBS Champion of all time!
And what that “stupid kid” learned tonight is that there is no stopping the Money Train. Okay, on to 17-0. Bye, Renee! Mone heads out, but is the CEO’s ego about to get the attention of a Fallen Goddess?

Omaha cheers for the AEW Women’s World Champion as she makes her way out here to join commentary for tonight’s main event. After all, it has some major implications for who “costars” with Toni in her next title picture.

The Megasus has not respected anyone in AEW, only dominated! And she perhaps tolerates the Superbad Girl as they have common enemies. But from attacking Toni last week to attacking Thunder Rosa before their match, it seems no one is able to even slow Megan down. Can the Galaxy’s Greatest get even from their previous showdown? Or will Megan be the bane of the AEW Women’s Division?
The bell rings and the fans rally up. Kris and Megan step up, stare down, and then Megan winds up! Kris blocks the shot to fire a flurry of forearms! The fans fire up, Kris runs, but Megan follows! Megan ROCKS Kris, runs, but Kris follows to UPPERCUT! Kris runs, Megan follows to SPLASH Kris at the ropes! Megan runs but Kris ROCKS her! Kris runs but Megan clinches! Kris fires shots but Megan shoves her away. Megan blocks a boot, ROCKS Kris, then runs up to LARIAT Kris up and out! Ford applauds, the fans are torn, but Megan storms out. Kris goes up to the apron! The fans fire up, Toni is rather stunned, and Toni gives Kris credit for that. Kris puts Megan in the ring, climbs up a corner, and MISSILE DROPKICKS! Megan flounders away to a corner while the fans fire up. Ford coaches Megan, Toni says if Bayne is a “Megasus,” call her to the “Stormodo Dragon.” Same toxic tongue and dry skin. Kris runs in and LARIATS! Then Kris climbs up to rain down fists! The fans fire up and count all the way to TEN! Kris then pushes Megan out, leaps, but Megan catches her! Megan pops Kris up, but Kris slips free! Kris kicks low, runs, and basement DROPKICKS! Cover, ONE?!?
The fans rally as Kris storms up on Megan. Kris drags Megan up, Toni says Megan must be the Greek Goddess of Silence as she’s barely spoken a word. Kris stands Megan up to fire forearms, then whips corner to corner. Megan reverses but Kris goes up to FLYING BACK ELBOW! The fans fire up again and Kris puts Megan in a corner. Kris fires forearm after forearm, then runs side to side for a BOOT WASH! The fans fire up, Ford is upset, but Kris ROCKS Megan again. Kris runs corner to corner, but Megan BOOTS her! Megan clinches to CORNER EXPLODER! The fans rally but Megan drags Kris up again.
Megan RAMS into Kris again and again, then hoists her up top. Megan SLAPS Kris, climbs up, and Kris fires body shots. Toni says both ladies have such powerful thighs, surely they’ve crushed watermelons. Kris fires hands, ROCKS Megan, and Megan hops back. Megan runs in but Kris BOOTS her! Ford distracts, the fans boo, but Megan ROCKS Kris! Kris falls to the apron, the fans boo more, but Megan gets Kris up. DEADLIFT BACK SUPLEX! The fans boo but Megan rises up as Dynamite goes picture in picture.
Megan soaks up the heat from Omaha, then she looms over Kris. Megan drags Kris up, short arm LARIATS, then paces around. Kris goes to ropes, Megan storms up and stands Kris up for a CHOP! Megan has Kris in a corner and fires KNEE after KNEE! The ref reprimands and counts, Ford applauds, but Megan brings Kris out to HALF HATCH PLEX! Kris flounders away, but Megan storms up again. Megan looms over Kris, but Kris fires a body shot. Megan KNEES low in return! Kris staggers to a corner, Megan whips corner to corner, and then Megan runs in, only for Kris to dodge! Kris runs in and UPPERCUTS Megan!
Kris runs side to side and BOOT WASHES Megan again! Kris brings Megan out, but Megan breaks free! Kris ducks the lariat to BLUE THUNDER BOMB! Cover, TWO! Megan survives and Kris seethes. Kris drags Megan up, scoops her, but Megan slips free! Megan shoves Kris and DECKS her! Kris goes to a corner, Megan runs in and LARIATS! And KNEES! Megan whips, Kris reverses and ROCKS Megan! Dynamite returns to single picture as Kris brings Megan up, but Megan slips under to RUNNING POWERBOMB!! Megan then fireman’s carries! “BOW DOWN!” FATE’S- NO! Kris lands out and runs the ropes, SCISSOR KICK! Both women are down and the fans fire up! Toni says she’s on the edge of her seat, and she looks to be about that as we get a standing count. The fans rally, Kris stirs at 3 of 10, and she crawls her way over to Megan. Kris sits Megan up to SLAP her! Megan SLAPS back!
The fans fire up as Kris SLAPS again! Megan SLAPS Kris! Both women stand, the SLAPS keep going! The fans fire up behind Kris and boo Megan, and Kris fires a flurry of SLAPS! Then a PELE! Kris runs, but Ford trips her! The ref saw that, and EJECTS Ford! The fans fire up while Ford freaks out! Kris stands, but Megan runs in! Kris ducks the lariat and kips up! SUPERKICK! Megan BOOTS in return! Kris ROUNDHOUSES! Megan roars, but Kris gets under the boot to POWERBOMB! Kris hurries to scoop and MICHINOKU DRIVER! Cover, TWO!! Megan survives, Toni says she’s nervous, because just look at the power!

Toni fires fists with Megan right away and the fans fire up! Security rushes out here but the fans boo! “Let Them Fight! Let Them Fight!” Megan breaks free of security to CLOBBER Toni! Toni staggers back up, and she shoves free to LARIAT Megan up and out! Megan lands on her feet, but security does their best to keep these two apart! Megan is beside herself, but Toni grabs a mic to say, “My gawd, you’re a big b*tch!” Fans cheer that!
“I’ve always said the bigger they are, the harder they come. So it’s about time you and I got tantric! You keep looking at my title, but you don’t have much to say. So I’m gonna make this very easy for you. You and I shall have a date at Dynasty! And I will make your thighs shake and your body quake, and I will leave with this strap on, for I am TIMELESS TONI STORM! And I will tear your tits off!!” The Megasus has the title match she wants, but will she get much more than she bargained for?
My Thoughts:
A great Dynamite that almost lost some matches given the blizzard that hit today. But it looks like we got everything they were hoping to get done tonight, especially in building up Dynasty. The Fatal 4 Way was an awesome opener, and what an incredibly clever way to give two guys that win to raise the stakes on Kenny Omega. I also feel like we should get Bailey VS Ricochet 1v1 just to see “who’s better” going into the Triple Threat, and maybe indicate some go-home math towards that match. I would think part of the Triple Threat nature is so that regardless of the result, all three men look strong, but I’m leaning towards Omega winning.
Mone VS Billie was a great match, a great showing for Billie’s return to cable TV, but this makes her 0-2 all time for the TBS Championship (she lost to Jade Cargill on a Battle of the Belts special). However, Mone’s promo talking trash on Billie’s mentor planted major seeds for Mone VS Athena in time for All In: Texas, as I’ve been hoping for. Good promo from The Outrunners, but it seems like they didn’t make it to Omaha, or else they’d be teaming with Hobbs for Collision, not Briscoe & Rocky. Though it’s not like there isn’t ground for Briscoe teaming with Hobbs when they were the ones that confronted the Murder Machines last week.
Good promo from Bandido to respond to Jericho and call him out, and Johnny TV wanting a match with him is interesting. I suppose Johnny can take a loss for Bandido to get some momentum back before having it out with Jericho one more time. Good promo from MJF to set up meeting with MVP next week. I can’t be sure which way he’s going to swerve us. Mentioning he needs back up to take on The Death Riders would make me think he accepts MVP’s offer, but referencing Adam Cole turning on him makes me think he won’t. It’d make the most sense if he accepted the help, because it’s means to an end.
Great match from Ospreay VS Fox, and a great win for Ospreay to keep his momentum up from Revolution. I do appreciate him selling the damage from Revolution to add some doubt into his story. Ospreay will surely make it to the finals of the Owen Hart Cup, but his odds of winning shifted the moment Hangman Page said he’d be in. Hangman was denied the Cup last year, he might make good on a second attempt, especially if Swerve wins at Dynasty. Moxley VS Cope being a Street Fight went about how I expected: The entrances turned into a brawl, that brawl went all over the place, and then there was major overbooking. As such, Moxley wins, honestly making him look weak for it, but I suppose most Heel champs do end up like that.
FTR being part of the save that didn’t help Cope win, that’s a clever way of adding to the frustrations of FTR that is also sending them down a Heel path. Granted, this moment in itself, with Dax being the most upset and not even wanting Cash to talk to him feels out of place. There should’ve been something like this even before the “frustrations” from facing Undisputed Kingdom showed up. Chalk it up to more of TK’s backwards booking like he’s done with Jericho feuds. But I don’t see FTR breaking up, Cash will just start to see things Dax’s way and FTR goes Heel again as they keep after the AEW World Tag Team Championships.
Very good matches made for Collision and the awkward two-parter it has to pull because of NCAA basketball. Hart VS Aminata is going to be really good, but Aminata’s feud with Deeb is still on standby, so I think Hart wins out. And great main event from Megan and Kris tonight, with Toni doing another excellent job on commentary. Great win for Megan, and great brawl from her and Toni before Toni makes it official. Toni is a master at innuendos in her promos. That title match is going to be awesome, but I would think Toni finds a way to retain. Megan is great, but it might be a bit too soon for her to be world champion.

Roderick Strong tells, “KYYYLE~! Tonight, we prove to FTR that we are the best tag team on planet Earth.” Kyle O’Reilly says, “That’s right, Roddy.” They beat FTR once, and it was no fluke. Tonight, they do it again. Adam Cole says, “And that is undisputed.”
FTR speaks.
Cash Wheeler says, “So a few weeks ago, we made a mistake that cost us the match against Roddy & Kyle. But tonight, here in Vegas, put all your money, bet the house, on FTR.” Dax Harwood says, “I imagine if you guys beat FTR, that’ll put you right in line for an AEW World Tag Team title shot. I’m not gonna apologize for spoiling your party, but it ain’t happening at our expense. Top Guys Out.” But will Dax & Cash make good on this rematch? Or will this be a bet they lose big time?
AEW International Championship Eliminator Tournament Opening Round: Ricochet VS Katsuyori Shibata!
We heard how the One & Only thinks he should be the one that faces Kenny Omega, but he’ll have to get through The Wrestler! Will Shibata knock Ricochet off his high horse to then represent Japan in the Fatal 4 Way? Or will Ricochet make up for losing to Swerve Strickland at Revolution?
The bell rings and the fans rally for Shibata. Shibata and Ricochet circle, but Ricochet stays back. Ricochet is wary as Shibata steps closer, and he goes up a corner to tell fans to calm down. Ricochet and Shibata tie up, Ricochet headlocks and wrenches, but Shibata wrenches back. Shibata then KICKS Ricochet in the leg! Ricochet hobbles away to a corner, and he walks off the pain. The fans boo, Ricochet tells them to shut up, and he ties up with Shibata. Ricochet headlocks, but Shibata powers up and out. Ricochet runs Shibata over, then keeps moving, but Shibata sits up! Ricochet stays back, and he tells Shibata to stand up.
The fans rally for Shibata as he stays seated, legs and arms crossed. Ricochet runs up, Shibata ducks the kick, then stands, only for Ricochet to CHOP! And CHOP! And CHOP again! Shibata brushes himself off, swings, but Ricochet dodges. Ricochet kicks and whips but Shibata reverses. Ricochet rolls over Shibata’s back, ducks a lariat, but not the CHOP! The fans fire up while Ricochet is stinging! Shibata then KICKS Ricochet in the back! Ricochet goes to the ropes, the fans rally up, and Shibata storms up. Ricochet uses the ropes as a defense, Shibata kicks anyway, but Ricochet blocks to HOTSHOT the leg!
Ricochet goes back to the apron and he springboards to FLYING LARIAT! Down goes Shibata, the fans boo, but Ricochet eggs them on. Ricochet goes out to fetch Shibata, and he RAMS Shibata into the barriers! Ricochet tells the fans to shut their mouths, then he RAMS Shibata into the apron! Shibata falls to the mat, Ricochet taunts the fans, then he puts Shibata in the ring. Ricochet runs and basement UPPERCUTS Shibata in the back! Ricochet sits Shibata up to KNEE him in the back, and KNEE him again. The fans boo but Ricochet brings Shibata up, snapmares and STANDING MOONSAULTS! Cover, TWO!
The fans cheer as Shibata stays in this, but Ricochet taunts them again as Collision goes picture in picture.
Ricochet drags Shibata up, and he RAMS Shibata into the corner! And RAMS him again, sits him down, and digs his boots in. The ref counts, Ricochet steps off, and Ricochet taunts the fans more. Ricochet digs his boots in, scrubs Shibata’s face, but lets off as the ref counts. Ricochet drags Shibata up, whips him corner to corner hard, and Shibata bounces off buckles. Ricochet flexes, then gets on a corner to soak up all that heat. Ricochet goes back to Shibata, digs his boot into Shibata’s head, and the ref counts. Ricochet puts Shibata on the ropes to CHOKE him! The ref counts, Ricochet steps off, and Ricochet is arguing with the fans sone more.
Ricochet CHOPS Shibata, CHOPS again, but Shibata isn’t even bothered! So Ricochet CLAWS Shibata’s eyes! The ref counts, Ricochet stops, and then Ricochet scoops Shibata to SLAM him! Ricochet runs for an ELBOW DROP! Cover, TWO! Shibata stays in this and Ricochet grows frustrated. Ricochet scuffs Shibata, eggs him on, then kicks him! Collision returns to single picture as Ricochet CHOPS! And CHOPS! Shibata stands up, the fans fire up, and Ricochet fires forearms! Shibata ROCKS Ricochet! Ricochet falls against Shibata, Shibata eggs him on then runs. But Ricochet DROPKICKS Shibata down! The fans boo while Ricochet snarls.
Fans chant, “You Still Suck!” Ricochet taunts Shibata that the fans know better. Ricochet then sits cross-legged, all to taunt Shibata. Shibata sits up and crosses his legs now, and he eggs Ricochet on. Ricochet CHOPS, then SLAPS, but Shibata just eggs him on. Ricochet fires SLAP after SLAP, but Shibata isn’t even bothered! Ricochet says fine, Shibata should try. Shibata holds Ricochet back by his bald head! Then he CLAWS at the head! The IRON CLAW as learned from the Von Erichs! Shibata whips Ricochet to a corner for a BOOT! Ricochet sputters, Shibata rains down forearms, then Shibata runs corner to corner! HYDRAULIC feint to SLAP that bald head!!
The fans fire up as Shibata brings Ricochet up. HALF HATCH! Cover, TWO! Ricochet stays in this, goes to ropes, but Shibata blocks a kick. Shibata UPPERCUTS, whips, but Ricochet reverses to NORTHERN LIGHTS! Roll through, deadlift, and BRAINBUSTER! But Shibata’s right up to GERMAN SUPLEX! Ricochet flounders, Shibata rises, and “This is Awesome!” as both men stand. Shibata runs up, Ricochet BOOTS, SOBATS, and KNEES him back! Then ROLLING ELBOWS! Ricochet dodges a haymaker to handspring, but into an ANKLE LOCK, and then an STF!! Ricochet endures, reaches out, but the fans fire up for him to “TAP! TAP! TAP!”
Ricochet claws his way forward, brings Shibata along, and has the ROPEBREAK! Shibata lets go, stomps Ricochet, then drags him up. Shibata waistlocks, Ricochet fights the lift, so Shibata has the SLEEPER! Ricochet RAMS Shibata into a corner, ELBOWS him, but Shibata clamps back on! SLEEPER! Ricochet powers up to fireman’s carry, DETONATION KICK! Shibata falls, Ricochet runs, LIONSAULT! Cover, TWO! Shibata is still in this, but Ricochet keeps moving! STANDING SHOOTING STAR! Cover, TWO! Shibata survives the onslaught and the fans rally up even more. Ricochet gets mad now, and he brings Shibata up.
Ricochet dragon sleepers, for the VERTI- NO, Shibata slips out and has the SLEEPER! Ricochet snapmares free fast, but Shibata dodges a lariat to have the SLEEPER! Ricochet kicks off the ropes, rolls back to a cover, TWO!! Shibata ducks a buzzsaw, has the SLEEPER again, and Ricochet is fading! Ricochet reaches out for ropes, but Shibata KNEES him low! Shibata fireman’s carries, for an USHIGOROSHI! And PENALTY- NO, Ricochet dodges! Shibata runs up, into an ELBOW! High stack, with the ropes!! Ricochet wins!!

Rosa asks, “Do you know what this business is built on? It is built on respect. And there are women here who think that they’re too big and too pretty or maybe too good to come and respect the women who come and lay themselves for this business and AEW. The bell rings, the fans fire up for Briscoe, and he circles with Davis. They tie up, Davis powers Briscoe to a corner, but the ref counts. Davis lets off slowly, but Briscoe avoids a chop to CHOP! Briscoe eggs Davis on, then dodges to waistlock. Davis elbows free, whips, but Briscoe ducks a boto! Briscoe then Crane Kicks! And UPPERCUTS! And HAYMAKERS! Briscoe has Davis in a corner to CHOP! Briscoe CLUBS and ROCKS Davis, then ROCKS him again. Briscoe winds up, REDNECK KUNG-FU UPPERCUT! Briscoe whips, Davis reverses, and Davis BACKDROPS Briscoe! Davis stands Briscoe up to put him in a corner, and he LARIATS! Then he hits a BIG back suplex! And SENTONS! The fans boo but Davis soaks that up while Briscoe goes to the apron. Davis storms up, Briscoe RAMS into him, then Briscoe DUMPS Davis out! Briscoe builds speed and the fans fire up as Briscoe FLIES! Direct hit and the fans fire up! They high-five with Briscoe, he looks under the ring, and he brings out a chair! The chair is thrown into the ring but the ref says no, that’s not this kind of match. Davis drags Briscoe out of the ring to THROW into railing! Davis then scoops Briscoe, but Briscoe slips free to POST Davis!
Briscoe gets the chair back! The fans cheer and Briscoe puts it on the apron. Briscoe uses it to FLY, and down goes Davis again! The fans fire up for Briscoe, and Collision goes picture in picture.
Briscoe puts Davis in the ring, climbs up a corner, and he leaps, only for Davis to get under! Davis runs in at the corner and LARIATS Mark, to then short arm LARIAT him down! Davis has Briscoe on ropes to LARIAT him again! Briscoe flops out to the ramp, Davis goes out after him, and runs to LARIAT Briscoe back into the ring! Davis stalks Briscoe, then runs to LARIAT again! Davis soaks up the heat while Briscoe is down. Davis kicks Briscoe’s chair off the apron, then he SENTONS onto Briscoe! Cover, TWO! Davis runs up and KNEES Briscoe down! Cover, TWO!! Briscoe survives but Davis pursues him to the outside again. The fans rally up for Briscoe but Davis brings him around. Davis gets Briscoe up, but Briscoe fights the bomb! Briscoe is on the apron and he BOOTS Davis! Then BLOCKBUSTER to the floor! The fans fire up for Briscoe, and he gets on the barriers! Briscoe says BANG BANG, and then a FOLEY ELBOW DROP! The fans fire up more, they help Briscoe stand, and he puts Davis in the ring. Briscoe winds up, runs, and LARIATS! Down goes Davis! But Briscoe isn’t done, he hurries to fisherman and BUSTER! Cover, TWO!!
Davis survives and shocks everyone! Briscoe is shocked, but he fires back up and calls his shot! The fans fire up more, and Briscoe hooks the arms. Davis fights the lift to BACKDROP, but Briscoe sunset flips! Davis rolls through, PILEDRIVER!! TWO?!?! Briscoe survives and the fans love “A E DUB! A E DUB!” Briscoe goes to a corner, and Davis grinds his forearm into Briscoe’s face. Davis runs side to side but Briscoe follows, and he forearm SMASHES! Briscoe puts Davis up top, RKF UPPERCUTS, and then fireman’s carries, ROLLING DEATH VALLEY DRIVER! The fans fire up as Briscoe goes up the corner!
Davis rolls away, Archer runs out here! The ref stops Archer, but Cage slips in from the other side! Cage SHOVES Briscoe off the corner, into Davis’ GAMANGIRI! The fans boo but Davis roars and hops on, SATELLITE DDT!! Cover, Davis wins!

Oh well turns out those randos they were beating up are the four that the Murder Machines are facing now! Cage carries out and FALL AWAY SLAMS two of them onto the ramp! Archer TOSSES the third, BOOTS him down, then TOSSES the last guy into the ring! Cage puts another one in, the bell rings, and the fans boo as Cage & Archer stomp away! Cage hauls one up, Archer helps out, BOOT GERMAN SUPLEX COMBO! Cage then grabs the other guy, puts one out, MURDER BOMB!! Cover, Murder Machines win!

But here comes Briscoe with a chair! He storms the ring, gets mugged 2v1, but wait! HOBBS is back! Briscoe fights with Cage while Hobbs brawls with Archer! The fans fire up as Hobbs has Archer staggering around on stage! They go to the back, Cage and Briscoe brawl into the crowd! The fans fire up as the action is even closer now! Cage and Briscoe fight around towards the wall, then the exits! Will Hobbs & Briscoe brawl with Cage & Archer all the way to the Las Vegas strip?
Swerve Strickland is here!
Las Vegas becomes “Whose House?” “SWERVE’S HOUSE!” as The Realest #1 Contender to the AEW World Championship goes to the ring. Swerve grabs a mic to ask, “Las Vegas, what’s good with you? Last Sunday, I did exactly what I said I was going to do, and that was beat Ricochet to become the #1 Contender for the AEW World Championship.” The fans cheer that! Swerve doesn’t take anything away from Ricochet, he is tough as hell. Probably one of the best to ever step foot in the ring. Hell, Ricochet even ruptured Swerve’s eardrum. But Swerve warned Ricochet about stepping to the Most Dangerous Man in AEW gets you put down.
And if you wanna challenge him again, Ricochet, Swerve will gladly accept it so he can slap your bald head back to the ground again. The fans cheer that! Swerve hears the fans chant for “Whose House?” “SWERVE’S HOUSE!” and smiles. Swerve is sorry that Nana wasn’t here, but Nana is safeguarding the Embassy Robe so that Swerve can focus on the big things, the important things, like the AEW World Championship. The top prize for the best roster in the world. To compete for that championship, you have to be great. But to win that championship, you have to be elite. And last year, Swerve was All Elite! Last year at Dynasty, Swerve became AEW World Champion!
The fans cheer, and Swerve says 126 days, he was All Elite. And it seems that history repeats itself, because he will not be across from the champion in just three weeks. Swerve will have a chance to lead the Dynasty once again. That said, next week in Omaha, Nebraska, we have Jon Moxley VS Adam Copeland once again, but in a Street Fight. The fans boo a bit but Swerve smiles. Swerve says that you probably know he and Cope go way back. Swerve looked up to that man since he was a kid, so all Swerve’s life. A few years ago, Cope took Swerve under the ring and taught him what it was to seize the opportunity.
To put it this way, you don’t become dangerous without learning from the Rated R. But make no mistake about it, Cope, Swerve will reiterate something Cope once said: Whether you are challenger, or whether you are champion, you’re in my way. Right now, Cope is a legend and an icon, but he is in the way of the future of AEW, and Swerve will mow him down. Now, there’s also Jon Moxley. The fans boo again, and Swerve says Moxley is a FOUR-TIME AEW World Champion. You don’t become that without being an elite level performer. Swerve used to think he and Moxley were cut from the same cloth.
Until Moxley mentioned that there is no one that can hold down the world title like Moxley. Swerve doesn’t believe Moxley believes his own words! So much so, we have to listen to the dribble night in and night out, Moxley standing in the back, in boiler rooms, talking in riddles. All Swerve sees when he looks at Moxley is true desperation! And desperation is all Moxley will have, because to catch a maniac, you have to send a maniac! In three weeks, Dynasty in Philadelphia, whether it is Moxley or Cope, the result doesn’t matter, the Dynasty Era continues! And it will be Swerve that takes back the world title to turn AEW back to whose house?

Lio Rush & Action Andretti have been watching other tag teams in AEW, but it makes sense they’d watch their former friends, Top Flight. The bell rings and Hologram circles with Lee. They feel things out, tie up, and Lee wrenches to wristlock and wrangle Hologram. Hologram kips up, Lee grabs both arms for a motorcycle stretch. Carlie storms back over, tags in Dean, and Dean sends Carlie in for a forearm SMASH! Then “Psyche!” Carlie is sent back in for another forearm SMASH! Dean runs up to ELBOW Dante, then LARIAT! Cover, TWO! Dante toughs it out but Dean stomps him to ropes. Dean tags Lee, Lee scrapes his soles off Dante’s face. Lee clamps onto the arm, grinds Dante down, but Dante endures. The teams sort out while Cole and Garcia join commentary. The bell rings as Kyle and Dax start off. Vegas duels between “UN-DIS-PU-TED!” “F T R!” Almost sounds like a super team name. Kyle and Dax circle, they tie up, then break. Then they tie up, break, and go again. Dax waistlocks, Kyle switches, but Dax arm-drags for an armlock. Kyle headscissors, Dax kips free and then hits a headlock takeover. Kyle headscissors again, Dax kips free, but Kyle trips Dax to an ANKLE LOCK! Dax scrambles to the ROPEBREAK, and even goes to the apron. The ref counts, Kyle lets go, and the fans cheer for “TAG TEAM WRESTLING!”
Dax storms back into the ring, but he tags Cash. Cash and Kyle circle, feel things out, and tie up. Cash wrenches, wristlocks, but Kyle wrenches and wristlocks back. Cash rolls, but Kyle wrangle shim! Cash stands up to whip but Kyle reverses. Cash goes up and over, keeps moving, then slides under to arm-drag! Kyle avoids the dropkick, and he KICKS Cash down! The fans fire up and Kyle bumps Cash off buckles. Roddy tags in, he clinches for a GUT BUSTER! Kyle goes up to add a KNEE DROP! Roddy drags Cash up to CHOP, then CHOP, then he tags Kyle. Roddy & Kyle CHOP and KICK on repeat! Then they DOUBLE SUPLEX! Kyle covers, TWO!
Kyle rains down palm strikes from all sides, then looms over Cash. Kyle brings Cash up, wrenches, then tags Roddy. Roddy knees Cash low, has him in a corner, and he fires a forearm. Roddy whips corner to corner, Cash just gets up and over, then runs again. Roddy doesn’t quite hurdle so he clips Cash. Roddy CLUBS away, then whips. Cash reverses and kicks low, then he whips Roddy into the FTR corner! Dax might have gotten a bit of Roddy’s face in his face, but Cash CHOPS Roddy! And CHOPS! Cash whips Roddy, Roddy reveres, but Cash turns that around to send Roddy back to the corner. Roddy BLASTS Dax off the corner this time!
Cash HOTSHOTS Roddy, Dax returns, and Cash anchors Roddy’s legs. Tag to Dax, he drops a leg, an elbow, and a HEADBUTT! The fans fire up as Dax paces around, and then Dax drags Roddy up. Dax snapmares, clamps on a chinlock, and the fans again duel, “UNDISPUTED!” “FTR!” Roddy fights up, fires body shots, but Dax CHOPS! Roddy CHOPS! Dax CHOPS! Repeat! The fans fire up as the CHOPS keep going, and Roddy gets the edge! Roddy runs up, but Dax catches him! Dax keeps Roddy from Kyle, puts him in a neutral corner, but then Roddy dodges! Dax hits buckles hard and staggers back. Cash runs in, almost runs the ref over, but Roddy DUMPS Cash out!
The fans rally as Roddy rises, but Dax reels him in! Dax lifts, Roddy fights it, and Cash stumbles back in. The ref ushers Cash to the corner while Roddy BACKDROPS free! Roddy tags Kyle, but the ref doesn’t see it! Cash’s stumbling might be Cash playing it up just for this moment! FTR now mugs Roddy in the corner! The fans boo, Kyle protests, and then he jukes past the ref to go after FTR! Dax leads Kyle on a cat ‘n’ mouse game while Cash keeps beating up Roddy! The ref then stops Kyle, Cash hoists Roddy up, Dax runs the ropes, HART ATTACK! Cover, TWO! All the trickery doesn’t pay off, but Collision goes to break.
Dax drags Roddy from Kyle, bumps him off buckles in a neutral corner, then CHOPS! Dax CHOPS again, then UPPERCUTS! Roddy sputters as he leans against ropes, but Dax brings him around. Roddy CHOPS! And CHOPS! Dax CHOPS back! Dax tags Cash, FTR puts Roddy under the ropes and ROPE GUILLOTINES! Cash then goes to the apron, for a GUILLOTINE LEG DROP! Roddy sputters, Cash soaks up cheers and jeers, then he brings Roddy over. Tag to Dax, Dax drags Roddy up, and Dax snap suplexes! Roddy writhes, but Dax soaks up more cheers and jeers. Dax boasts more, and Roddy rolls him up! TWO!!
Dax escapes, and he CHOPS Roddy down! Dax puts Roddy in the corner, snapmares him out, and clamps on a chinlock. Roddy endures, Dax leans on him, but Roddy fights up. Roddy reaches out, Dax keeps him from Kyle, but then Roddy JAWBREAKERS free! Both men fall, and then both men crawl, then they stand. Dax CHOPS Roddy again! So Roddy CHOPS Dax again! Collision returns to single picture as the CHOPS continue! The fans fire up, and Roddy gets around to ANGLE SLAM! Both men are down again and Garcia admits, that was impressive. Hot tags to Cash and Kyle! Kyle BOOTS Cash, KICKS him, then KICKS him again!
Kyle fires off a strike fest on Dax! Cash runs up, but Kyle blocks a kick to get an ANKLE LOCK!! Dax clamps onto Kyle with a SLEEPER! Dax pulls Kyle back, but Kyle hits a SAIDO! Kyle runs to forearm SMASH Cash in the corner! Then ELBOW BREAKER! Cash ROCKS Kyle, inside cradles him, TWO! Cash suplexes, Kyle slips free, and ANKLE LOCK!! Cash endures, reaches out, but Roddy goes after Dax. Dax kicks Roddy away, but Kyle DECKS Dax! Cash rolls Kyle, Kyle rolls through, ANKLE LOCK!! Roddy has Dax on the apron with an ANKLE LOCK of his own! The fans duel as both FTR endure!
Dax turns over and he BOOTS Roddy into the POST! Dax then hurries up top, for a DIVING HEADBUTT on Kyle! Everyone is down at ringside, both Cole and Garcia are talking up their guys, and Vegas says “This is Awesome!” Kyle stirs, Dax calls to Cash. Dax Electric Chair Lifts while Cash climbs. But Kyle slips free to shove Dax into Cash! Kyle then KNEES Dax, fires off a strike fest, and KICKS the legs out! Kyle then goes up after Cash, brings him up with a double wristlock, but Cash fires body shots! Dax tags in, Cash SUNSET FLIPS to Electric Chair Lift Kyle! Dax is up top now, DOOMSDAY BULLDOG!! Cover, TWO!?!
Cole is fired up for his team, but Garcia says FTR is the best at isolating a single opponent. The fans rally up as FTR watches Kyle. But that lets Roddy slip in! Roddy shoves Cash into Dax, then he runs to WRECK Cash with a dropkick! Kyle tags Roddy in, Roddy KNEES Dax against ropes! Feed to Kyle’s KNEE! Then AX & STRONG SMASH!! Cover, TWO!?! Dax survives and Cole admits, Dax is resilient. Kyle & Roddy KICK and CHOP Dax again and again, but Cash rushes in! Roddy kicks Cash, gives him to Kyle, CHOP and BRAINBUSTER! Dax comes back to fire haymakers and CHOPS on Roddy & Kyle!
Dax fires a flurry on Roddy, then runs, but into a KNEE from Kyle! SWEEP THE LEG OUTTA NOWHERE!! Cover, but Cash BARRELS in and breaks it! Cole is beside himself but Garcia and the fans all applaud. All four men are down in the ring but the fans cheer them on. FTR and the Kingdom stand and start throwing forearms back and forth! The brawl picks up speed, Roddy DECKS Dax! Kyle KICKS Cash down, then gets him back up. But Dax saves Cash from the suplex! Dax dodges Roddy & Kyle to shove them into each other! Kyle falls, Dax waistlocks Roddy and Cash goes up and over them both.
Cash sets up, Roddy is sent into SHATTER MACHINE!!! Cover, KYLE DRAGS DAX OUT!! Now Cole is the one fire dup, but Cash DIVES onto Kyle! Cash puts Roddy back in, Dax covers, ROPEBREAK!! The ref sees it this time, so there’s no questioning it! “This is Wrestling!” as Dax calls to Cash. We hit the five minute warning, Dax stands Roddy up. Dax CHOPS, but Roddy fires off forearms and elbows on FTR! Dax CHOPS again, fans hope these teams “FIGHT FOREVER!” Dax JABS, JABS, and ROCKS Roddy! Roddy falls back, Dax storms up and talks trash. Dax even fires up the fans! Dax hoists Roddy up top, then CHOPS again!
Cash tags in and Dax climbs up! SUPERPLEX for the Power! SPLASH onto knees! Kyle KING KONG KNEE DROPS on Dax!! Roddy covers Cash, TWO!! This match is a roller coaster of emotions for Cole and Garcia, and even the fans! Kyle says it’s time, and Roddy runs, SWEEP THE- NO, Dax pushes Kyle away! SHATTER MACHINE!!! Cover, FTR WINS!!!

Cole is fuming but he hurries to ringside to check on his guys. Garcia thanks Schiavone & Nigel for welcoming him, and he excuses himself to go celebrate with his Top Guys. No flukes here, but now Cole and Garcia have one week to prepare for their own showdown. They stare down now, and Cole offers a handshake. Garcia takes it, the fans cheer the respect, and then Roddy & Kyle offer the same. FTR still leaves The Kingdom hanging? Even Garcia is surprised by that. But will there still be respect for Cole and Garcia after their Slam Dunk Saturday showdown?
My Thoughts:
A great Collision here, but I’m still not much for cold open promos. It’s really only an issue when trying to keep up and write stuff like this, because the wrestlers still do a great job. It just seems unnecessary when there are other promos both tonight and during the week that help us understand story. I can’t say for sure, but I doubt there are fans watching only Collision and not Dynamite. Just get to Ricochet VS Shibata as the opening moment for even more of a great match. As I predicted on Wednesday, we got both Heels winning tonight since Orange Cassidy and Mike Bailey won on Wednesday.
Great promo from Toni Storm, and a good one from Rosa, but I could just feel an attack ready to happen for Rosa’s. Megan Bayne is clearly building up to be that next challenger, she damages Rosa before their match, and then has a fairly easy time with Rosa in the match. Toni making the save only to need saving was also a nice twist. As I said on Dynamite, this next feud is about Toni overcoming someone so much bigger and stronger than her. Think like Rocky 4 and Rocky having to fight Ivan Drago. At the same time, if Megan & Penelope find a third, they can have a pretty good Six Woman Tag with Toni, Rosa & Kris. Gasp. Willow shocking us by going Heel because it’s Kris?
Very good promo from Swerve to put Ricochet over just a little bit. Swerve calling out both Cope and Moxley equally was also good, and of course Moxley would attack Swerve. He got payback from how Revolution ended, and gives one more ultimatum of his own before the Street Fight with Cope. Also, I wonder if the ambulances in the parking lot acts as foreshadowing. After all, Cope and friends hospitalized Pac, Claudio & Marina, and they’ll be coming back for revenge of their own. It’s half the reason the stipulation is “Street Fight,” aka no disqualifications and nothing to be done should they ALL attack and screw Cope over.
Good stuff from the Don Callis Family just wrecking people, but there is some match order and basically filler stuff going on that was just weird. Commentary called the Six Man Tag the “standby” match, aka the match they didn’t think they’d put on tonight, but no, no, no. Hobbs crushing The Frat House should’ve been the “standby” match, no way should The Frat House be getting on an AEW card on purpose. But that aside, Outrunners getting to help Hobbs was good stuff, and I’m sure we’ll get a Six Man Tag from that. And if Hobbs was going to get involved alongside Briscoe in going after Don Callis Family, why not just let this be Hobbs’ thing instead of that filler?
Sadly, Top Flight & Hologram VS STP wasn’t much better in the end. It was less about that actual match and more about plugging The Cru back into a story with Top Flight, and making a story out of “Harley-gram” and Mortos. Beauty & The Beast Mortos is going to be quite the romcom. But why is Harley being relegated to this when she was doing so well as herself? Good promo from Abrahantes to call out LFI and set up a tag match, though. Komander & Hologram VS Dralistico & Mortos is going to be fast ‘n’ furious, but I already have a feeling Harley’s presence is going to cost LFI.
At least FTR VS Kyle & Roddy was an awesome main event, bordering on PPV worthy. Cole and Garcia on commentary was some good stuff, but obviously all about plugging their title match next week. I figured FTR would win, but it feels like they’re slowly turning Heel. They didn’t show respect at the end there, and Dax has been on that “I’m not gonna apologize” thing for a few weeks. I don’t know if Garcia is going to start using that same attitude or if he cuts ties with them because of it. But Cole VS Garcia will be awesome stuff, and hard to call. Would they really do a title change on an episode that is partially preempted because of basketball? It’d give fans reasons to actually care about Collision.
