Sixteen years ago, NWA:TNA burst on to the scene to offer an alternative to WWE in the void left by ECW and WCW closing. Five name changes and four ownership changes later, and IMPACT Wrestling is still growing and developing. In that amount of time, some wrestlers can get lost in the shuffle of ever changing personnel.

10. The Briscoe Brothers [Jay Briscoe & Mark Briscoe] (2002)

Back in 2002, while working for CZW, Ring of Honor AND Jersey All Pro Wrestling, Dem Boys were brought into NWA:TNA to bolster the beginning of their tag team division. However, after just a handful of matches, management decided they didn’t want to keep working with their busy schedules and parted ways with  the brothers.

Since leaving, The Briscoes have just added to their illustrious resumes. Together, they are 9 time Ring of Honor Tag Team Champions, 2 time NEVER Openweight 6-Man Tag Team Champions, and have won the Ring of Honor 6-Man Tag Team Titles and IWGP Tag Team Title as well. Jay Briscoe is even a 2 time Ring of Honor World Champion outside of their tag team.
