Ambrose spent months on the sideline watching his Shield brothers claim glory at the top of the card. In that time, his brothers didn’t call on him until they needed him. They didn’t call on him until they felt they were ready. Rollins didn’t call upon Ambrose until he felt he couldn’t handle the situation (Ziggler and McIntire) himself. Reigns is calling upon Ambrose now that the Monster, Braun Strowman stands before him. There is a story to be told in all of this.

Ambrose doesn’t necessarily take it all out on Seth Rollins though. As fans, we’ve seen Rollins and Ambrose feud and it has been great but this time things will be different. Ambrose goes after the top dog, Ambrose goes after Roman Reigns and here is why.

Reigns never helped Ambrose take care of business against Rollins.

Rollins hit Reigns in the back with the chair and Ambrose took it upon himself to take care of the “situation.” Where was Roman? Why didn’t Roman help Ambrose more when it came to Seth Rollins and the Authority? These are questions that Dean Ambrose has and now wants answered. Ambrose feels that Roman never truly had his back and now it is time find out why. This has a chance to come to fruition at the HIAC event.

The main event of the night will more than likely be the likes of Braun Strowman and Roman Reigns in the Cell.

Earlier in the night we may/should see the other two shield members, Seth Rollins, and Dean Ambrose face off against McIntyre and Ziggler. In that match, Dean Ambrose costs the Shield a chance to recapture the titles after a “slip-up.”

Later in the night, Dean Ambrose comes to interfere in the Reigns-Strowman match and this time he does the unthinkable.

At first, he helps Roman and then when Roman lets his guard down, Ambrose strikes with Dirty Deeds. He doesn’t cost Roman the title but he does sour the relationship after officially turning his back on the Shield members

Ambrose is bitter.

He is upset because he feels used. He is upset because he doesn’t feel like he gets the respect that Reigns and Rollins have. Ambrose is angry because he was an afterthought after being injured. His injury gave him time to reflect and in his reflection, he no longer felt like he was a Shield-brother. Ambrose has officially separated from the Shield and on we move.
