So bring a snack, and enjoy the elevation, for I am the next mountain you must climb. Until then, my tits will be tipped up and I am ready to tango!” Toni will team with Mina Shirakawa against Julia Hart & Sky Blue, will Fyter Fest be TIMELESS?

 

Tony Schiavone is in the ring.

He welcomes us to this FOUR HOUR Fyter Fest, and says let’s kick it off by welcoming out the Aerial Assassin, Will Ospreay! Denver fires up for Ospreay as he goes to the ring. Ospreay shakes hands with Schiavone, and Schiavone says last week after Dynamite, something occurred between him and Swerve. Footage plays of Ospreay confronting Swerve over this dream team drama and Swerve not wanting to work with Hangman Page when the bigger threat to AEW is the Death Riders. The confrontation turned physical and the two had to be separated. Schiavone points out Ospreay shouting, “Same team!” and how rough that got.

Ospreay says it is embarrassing. He never wants to fight Swerve like that, they’ve been friends for 12 years now. Now, it is not the brightest idea to try and get Swerve and Hangman on the same page, as they actually hate one another. But Ospreay just feels they’re not the enemy here. The enemy is Jon Moxley. The fans cheer that! Ospreay can’t help but think, if they could all put their differences aside for one night, one bloody night, they could retrieve the belt, and then kill each other! The fans also cheer that!

Ospreay brings up how Jon Moxley has said on TV, Moxley hates what AEW has become. Here’s an idea: piss off then! Because people like Ospreay, Hangman, Swerve, Toni Storm, Kenny Omega, they are why AEW has momentum again! The only reason AEW “sucks” right now is because Moxley is world champion! The fans cheer that, and they chant for Ospreay. Ospreay says he has given Hangman his word and his word means something. Ospreay will play a part in making sure that world title comes back. Last week, Ospreay asked Swerve, “Who’s the bigger threat? Hangman or the Death Riders?”

Ospreay is starting to wonder… Is Swerve a threat, as well? Hangman doesn’t want to see Swerve as champion, Swerve doesn’t want to see Hangman as champion. Ospreay can’t let that happen. So if Ospreay has to be the one to stop Swerve… Fans chant for “Whose House?” “SWERVE’S HOUSE!” Ospreay tells them that if he doesn’t step in, Swerve ain’t got a house! But here is what happens. Ospreay wants Swerve to listen and listen clearly. Ospreay loves Swerve as a brother. Ospreay would take a bullet for Swerve. But before that, Ospreay would take a bullet for AEW! So next week, Summer Blockbuster, Ospreay is calling Swerve out! Ospreay VS Swerve 2!

And wait, what is CRU doing coming out here? Lio Rush & Action Andretti have mics, and Ospreay is confused. Action asks, “What’s wrong, Denver? You ain’t happy to see us?” The fans boo to show that they aren’t. Action tells “Mr. Bruv,” that this pow-wow he has with “Tommy Schiavone” is cute and all. The fans tell Action to STFU but Lio & Action laugh that off. Action tells Denver and all of Colorado to do them a favor and shut your mouths! Lio takes over by saying, “Ospreay, Ospreay, Ospreay! A true Brit! Ey, I love it, man, I do. It’s clear that these people love it, too. But listen, man. If there’s one thing that I know about Brits is that they like to talk a lot.

“And you out here doin ga lot of yappin’. Ey, Denver, we just got off a 14 hour flight from Japan, and my boy right here, Action, he chillin’ tonight. But me? I got a little bit of pent up anger and a point to prove. Because I personally think that the worst thing about AEW… is your dumbass!” The fans boo Lio and Ospreay says Lio has pent up anger, huh? Well, Ospreay would love to get that anger out. Tonight, we’re sold out, baby! The fans cheer that! Ospreay has his “fake tan” on, and his “crime fighting pants” upstairs! Anyone wanna see an Ospreay match tonight? The fans all cheer that! In that case, tonight for the Collision portion of this evening, Ospreay VS Lio is on!

The fans cheer again, and Ospreay reminds Swerve, “See you next week, sunshine!” The Aerial Assassin is ready, will he make the Man of the Hour a quick workout before visiting Swerve’s House in Portland?

 

Mark Briscoe VS Jon Moxley w/ The Death Riders!

The Sussex County Chicken admits he got caught last time, but he won’t let his children think he’s a quitter. You win some and you lose some, but you never quit! So now, Briscoe wants after something bigger than the win, the loss, or the title! Will the Maniac be ready to #ManUp for Fyter Fest?

The bell rings and the fans rally up for “Briscoe! Briscoe!” The two circle, tie up, and are in a deadlock. Moxley digs his heels in but Briscoe turns it around. They go along the ropes, the ref counts, and Briscoe slowly lets off. The fans cheer, but then Moxley bails out and the fans boo. Moxley taunts Denver, goes to the apron, but Briscoe UPPERCUTS him down! Briscoe goes out to ROCK Mox, CHOP him, and then follows him again for another UPPERCUT! Briscoe has Mox against railing to rain down fists! The fans count to TEN and fire up! Moxley staggers away, Briscoe slides in, and then Moxley dodges to kick, CHOP, and ROCK Moxley!

Moxley kicks low, ROCKS Briscoe, then ROCKS him again. Moxley CHOPS Briscoe, the fans boo, but Moxley whips corner to corner. Briscoe goes up to FLYING FOREARM! Briscoe hops on for a SLEEPER! Moxley stays up, powers out, but Briscoe slides under to UPPERCUT! And CHOP! And HEADBUTT! Briscoe bumps Moxley off buckles, then UPPERCUTS! Briscoe runs, the fans fire up, but Moxley BOOTS Briscoe down! The fans boo but Moxley snarls as he storms up on Briscoe in the corner. Moxley CLAWS Briscoe’s face, the ref counts, and Moxley stops at 4. Moxley puts Briscoe through ropes while the fans chant, “Moxley Sucks!”

Moxley grinds Briscoe’s face with a forearm, then he stands on Briscoe’s back! Moxley CHOKES Briscoe like that, but he steps off as the ref counts 4. Moxley whips Briscoe corner to corner, LARIATS, then whips the other way. Briscoe goes up and out to SWAT a lariat! Briscoe RAMS Moxley, and the fans fire up as Briscoe DUMPS him out! Briscoe runs and WRECKS Moxley with a dropkick! The fans fire up but then Wheeler Yuta barks at Briscoe. Briscoe stomps Yuta’s hand! Briscoe runs, CANNONBALL FLOPS as Moxley dodges! Moxley steps into the ring to flex, and Marina distracts the ref so Yuta can POST Briscoe!

The fans boo but the Death Riders continue to get away with it all! The fans chant, “Yuta Sucks! Yuta Sucks!” Moxley goes outside, and we see Briscoe is busted open! Moxley wrenches Briscoe’s arm, drags him to sit in a chair, and Moxley rains down fists! The fans boo as Moxley goes after that forehead wound! The Maniac shows off the blood on his arm while Fyter Fest goes picture in picture.

Briscoe sputters and Yuta mockingly applauds. Doc Sampson checks Briscoe but Briscoe rises up. Briscoe fires forearms on Moxley over and over, but Moxley BITES the bloody forehead wound! Moxley ROCKS Briscoe, refreshes the ring count at 9, then puts Briscoe back in the ring. Moxley stalks Briscoe to a corner, digs his boots in, then drags Briscoe up to put in another corner. Moxley rains down fists again, and he goes past TEN, then CLAWS Briscoe’s forehead and eyes! The ref counts, Fyter Fest returns to single picture, and Moxley BITES Briscoe! The fans boo and the ref reprimands, but Moxley just brings Briscoe around.

Moxley whips and BACKDROPS Briscoe! Briscoe writhes, Moxley covers, TWO! Briscoe is tougher than that! The fans fire up as Briscoe rises, and he CHOPS, CHOPS, and fires a forearm! But Moxley fires shots in return! Moxley whips and BACKDROPS, but Briscoe flips through to land on his feet! Briscoe then REDNECK KUNG-FU UPPERCUTS! And he CHOPS, UPPERCUTS, and CHOPS, CHOPS, CHOPS! But Moxley shoots around, only for Briscoe to PELE! Moxley tumbles out, the fans fire up, and Briscoe builds speed! Briscoe DIVES! Down goes Moxley, right in front of commentary! Denver is thunderous as Briscoe stands on the desk!

Briscoe hurries to put Moxley in the ring and runs for a SLIDING LARIAT! Cover, TWO! Moxley is also tougher than that, but Briscoe has the fans with him. Briscoe storms up on Moxley, eggs him on, and the forearms start flying! The fans boo Moxley and cheer Briscoe as they keep going again and again! Briscoe gets the edge, then ROCKS Moxley! But Moxley kicks and fires back! Kick, forearm, repeat! Moxley then whips, but Briscoe reverses to CHOP! And CHOP! Briscoe whips, Moxley reverses, but Briscoe FLYING FOREARMS! The fans fire up while both men go to corners. Briscoe runs corner to corner, but Moxley BOOTS him!

Moxley runs up, but Briscoe wrenches him to then reel him in for underhooks! The fans fire up but Moxley fights the lift! Moxley wrenches out to short arm LARIAT! Moxley drags Briscoe up and he underhooks, but Moxley wrenches out to short arm LARIAT in return! The fans fire up and Briscoe points to Heaven! Briscoe climbs up the corner, FORGGY-BOW into body scissors! REAR NAKED CHOKE!! Moxley has Briscoe caught like last week, but Briscoe fights around and pries the scissors open. But Moxley shifts to the ARMBAR!! Briscoe kicks his way around, and finds the ROPEBREAK!! The ref counts, Moxley lets go at 4.

Moxley stalks Briscoe to the apron, kicks him to the floor, and then distracts the ref! Yuta hammerlocks Briscoe to RAM Briscoe into steel steps! The fans boo but Marina puts Briscoe in the ring. The fans tell Yuta off but Moxley is on Briscoe. Briscoe fireman’s carries! ROLLING DEATH VALLEY! The fans fire up and Briscoe reels Moxley in! JAY DRILLER!! Moxley flops over but Briscoe can’t make the cover! Briscoe crawls his way over and covers, TWO!!! Moxley survives but Briscoe hauls Moxley to the top rope. Briscoe CHOPS Moxley on the back! And then torture rack with the straitjacket, but Moxley slips free!

Moxley WRINGS the arm out, then CURB STOMPS!! The fans boo but Moxley goes back for the BULLY CHOKE!! Briscoe endures, Moxley slips around, SLEEPER! Briscoe fights up, pushes off a corner and has a cover, TWO?!?! Moxley escapes, and he still has the sleeper! Moxley has a back mount and he smothers Briscoe! The fans boo and blame the ref, but Briscoe is OUT! Moxley wins!!

Denver is torn as The CEO, the 2025 Women’s Owen Hart Cup Champion, and the #1 contender to the AEW Women’s World Champion, heads for commentary. She’s ready to watch Toni Storm up close and personal, but will she be able to only watch the match?

Fyter Fest returns, and Mone says she has a table for one! The AEW ring crew brings her a table, as well as a steak dinner with wine! The privileges of being The CEO, it seems.

The teams sort out, Skye starts against Mina, and they run up. Mina dodges Skye’s boot to fire off forearm after forearm! Mina whips, Skye reverses, but Mina dodges to then ROCK Skye from the apron! Mina goes up and FLYING CHUCKS! Mina runs, ducks ‘n’ dodges, then tilt-o-whirls for a RUSSIAN LEG SWEEP! The fans cheer, Mina tags Toni, and now they fire up! Toni & Mina double whip to DOUBLE ELBOW, and then they set up so Mina can pommel horse off Toni and SPLASH Skye! Toni covers, ONE!! Skye is tougher than that, but Toni gives her a BACKBREAKER! We glimpse Mone sipping the red wine while Toni covers, TWO!

Toni drags Skye up to snap suplex! Tag to Mina, Mina stomps Skye, and Mina dragon sleepers Skye to inverted suplex! Skye lands out, CLUBS Mina down, then drags her up to whip her to the corner. Skye handsprings and FOREARMS! Tag to Julia and she runs side to side, ELBOW! Julia brings Mina around, whips her to a corner, but Mina reverses. Backstage interview with Will Ospreay.

Lexy Nair is with the Aerial Assassin and brings up his match with Lio Rush for later tonight. It is also official: Ospreay VS Swerve for the Summer Blockbuster! But before Ospreay can say anything about it, MJF interrupts. The Scumbag says hi to “Billy Boy” and Ospreay asks what Max wants. MJF says it isn’t what he wants so much as it is what Ospreay needs to understand. MJF is here to help! Ospreay needs to stay out of Swerve’s business with The Cowboy. If Ospreay takes Swerve out when Swerve would take out Hangman, then Hangman’s chances of winning the world title drastically improve.

And to make matters worse, if Ospreay actually manages to unite them, well then… That makes Hangman a shoe-in to win that world title. And last MJF checked, maybe Ospreay forgot after getting knocked out, but Ospreay can’t beat Hangman. If Hangman wins the world title, Ospreay never will. Swerve and Hangman, they’re animals. And what do you do with animals? You let them eat each other. Ospreay “thanks” MJF for that advice, does he have any more? Because Ospreay has a match to get ready for. But of course MJF is only thinking about himself in this. Ospreay is thinking about AEW. Ospreay understands what MJF is really doing, too.

MJF doesn’t want Hangman to win the AEW World Championship because MJF stands no chance of beating Hangman, even on MJF’s best day. See you later, mate. But MJF asks how Ospreay’s son, Harry, is doing. Ospreay grabs MJF by his sleazy neck, but MVP steps in. And with MVP come Bobby Lashley & Shelton Benjamin. Ospreay backs off, MVP has MJF settle down, and MVP says the Hurt Syndicate has business elsewhere tonight. But good luck in your match, Will. The Hurt Syndicate heads out, but Lashley makes sure to fix Ospreay’s shirt for him. Will Ospreay be able to focus after MJF pushed his buttons?

 

The Hurt Syndicate heads to the ring!

Denver fires up as MVP, MJF, Shelton Benjamin, and their hometown hero, Bobby Lashley, all enter together, unified after the big win at Double or Nothing. The fans chant for “Bobby! Bobby!” and even “Shelton! Shelton!” but then they boo MJF! MVP has the mic to say, “Attention AEW viewing audience: this is an official announcement from the Hurt Syndicate. Now before I go any further, I would like to address my brother, Roberto… You used to live in the Mile High City.” The fans cheer that! MVP says he has to ask: Now that Lashley lives in Texas, what is his opinion of Denver?

Lashley holds up his hand and gives a thumbs… DOWN! The fans boo but MVP says that’s classic! That is why The All Mighty left Colorado! But to business, this is AEW, where the best wrestle! And MVP stands with the greatest tag team to ever exist in the history of this sport! You could put together a dream team then, now, from this company, from another company, from the UNIVERSE, and they couldn’t take the titles from the waists of these two MEGA stars! So MVP must ask: If this is where the best wrestle, where are the best tag teams to challenge the champions?! Why is everyone so absolutely terrified of the Standard of Excellence & The All Mighty?

They’re in your imaginations, because they don’t exist! There is no one, and MVP will say that again, there is no one capable of beating these two for the titles! And with that business done, MVP wants the fans to show respect to the young genius that is Maxwell Jacob Friedman. MJF thanks Montel for that, and says he’d appreciate silence while he speaks. So rude. But as these “dumb shmucks” already know, MJF wants gold, just like his best friends have! So he wants back the AEW World Championship. Which means like all the marks in the back, MJF will have to wrestle more. He’ll get over it.

But that means MJF is aiming for Mexico. The fans chant for MJF to shut up but MVP tells them to respect MJF! MJF tells fans he is not going to shut up so just stop it. Now apparently, the countrymen of Mexico believe their top guy is Mistico. Mistico’s country believes Mistico is the best int he world. But that can’t be true, because MJF is the best. The best wrestler in the world doesn’t hail from Mexico. He hails from the only country that’s worth a damn, the United States of America! Now, Mistico, when MJF stepped foot in Mistico’s quaint little country, MJF sold out little Arena Mexico! Facts! In fact, MJF is the youngest foreigner to ever do so.

And do the fans know why MJF was able to do that? It is because unlike all of these poorers, he is a MEGA STAR! Don’t believe him? Happy Gilmore 2 comes out July 25th! Now, Mistico might think he is a lucha libre legend, but what MJF thinks is that he is just a big fish in a small, stinky pond. But hey, MJF is feeling philanthropic! Not that any of this morons watching know what that word means. Just google it. But next week, MJF will watch Mistico’s match for Summer Blockbuster. And if MJF feels Mistico is worthy, then maybe MJF will let Mistico wrestle him at Grand Slam: Mexico. Because when it comes to the Hurt Syndicate, it ain’t personal. It’s just business!

The fans are torn, but wait! Here comes “Speedball” Mike Bailey and his team for tonight, Komander & Kevin Knight! They want their trios match already, but Komander also has a mic. MVP says look! It’s White Sho Nuff, Bruce Leroy and the Blue Power Ranger! What’s going on here? MJF asks what they want! Komander tells MJF that he disrespected Mistico, he disrespected lucha libre, and that means he disrespected Komander! But just so you know, MJF, everything that came out of your mouth is utter trash! Do not insult lucha libre, cabron! MJF may not understand that but he knows it wasn’t nice.

The fans rally for lucha, but now Bailey takes the mic to tell MJF off in German! But Bailey says if the Hurt Syndicate wants the best, then standing before them is a trio of international killers! MVP laughs, but Knight says hey, whoa. MJF may not be cultured, unseasoned, and he might not understand what Komander & Bailey said, but Knight will keep it short and simple for his stupid ass: Hurt Syndicate, they could get it popping tonight in the Mile High City! MVP says wait, they want a match tonight with the Hurt Syndicate? They want it here? That’s what they want?! The fans cheer, so MVP says, “Absolutely not. You guys haven’t earned it.”

The Hurt Syndicate exit the ring and MVP says if they’d like an opportunity to stand against the tag team champions, impress them by earning it. The fans tell the Syndicate that they are cowards, and then La Faccion Ingobernable makes their way out! El Toro Blanco and Lashley lock eyes for just a moment. Will Komander & #JetSpeed impress the champs? Or will it be LFI that goes for the AEW World Tag Team Championships?

LFI mugs Bailey, Dralistico snapmares Bailey to run and basement DROPKICK! Cover, TWO! Dralistico clamps onto Bailey with a CAMEL CLUTCH! Bailey endures, Dralistico lets go, and he tags Mortos. Mortos storms up to stomp Bailey’s toes! Mortos drags Bailey up, puts him on the ropes, and SMACKS him down! Mortos whips Bailey into Rush’s BOOT! Mortos hits the BACKSTABBER, Dralistico goes up to add a DOUBLE STOMP! Mortos then runs to FLYING FOREARM! Cover, Knight breaks it! Mortos snarls and he stalks Bailey to ropes. LFI CHOKES Bailey on those ropes, but they stop as the ref counts.

Mortos argues with the ref, but Rush just CHOKES Bailey more! Fyter Fest returns to single picture and the fans rally. Mortos drags Bailey up, tags Dralistico, and they double whip. Bailey handsprings, LFI dodges, but Bailey sends Dralistico into Mortos! Bailey then dodges Mortos to hot tag Komander! The fans fire up as Komander GAMANGIRIS Mortos! Then he uses Mortos to go up and FLYING DDT Dralistico! Komander tilt-o-whirls on Mortos, DEJA VU into a POISON RANA! The fans are thunderous as Komander fakes Rush out and rolls back to MOONSAULT on Dralistico! Cover, TWO!

Komander whips Dralistico, Dralistico reverses, but Komander goes up, up, and over! Thigs keep moving, Dralistico dodges to springboard and FLYING DESTROYER!! Both men are down and they crawl for their corners! Hot tags to Rush and Knight! The fans fire up again as Knight and Rush fire forearm for forearm! Rush CHOPS, but Knight just roars! Knight CHOPS, Rush CHOPS, repeat! The fans “WOO~” with every CHPO, then Knight CLUBS away on Rush! Knight stomps Rush, runs, but Rush dodges to SLAP Knight! And CHOP! Rush dodges, and ROLLING ELBOWS! Knight sputters to a corner and the fans fire up!

Rush stomps away on Knight, scuffs him with his boot, then goes too the far corner! Rush runs back in, but he fakes the dropkick to BOOT Knight in the face! The fans cheer and Rush rolls back to tranquilo! Dralistico joins in with raising the fist, and Rush has the fans dueling. Rush shouts at Knight, runs in, but into a scoop and BACKBREAKER! Cover, TWO! Rush survives and Knight grows frustrated. Knight drags Rush up, Rush JUMP KNEES Knight, then tags Mortos. Mortos SMACKS Knight down! LFI stomps away on Knight but the ref reprimands! Bailey and Komander get in, but they get stomped, too!

LFI soak up the cheers and jeers, then they each bring a man up and in. But Knight, Komander & Bailey all break free, TRIPLE DROPKICKS send LFI out! The fans fire up as now Komander & JetSpeed all FLY! TRIPLE TOPE CONJILO!! The fans are thunderous and Knight puts Mortos in. Tag to Komander while the fans cheer on “A E DUB! A E DUB!” Komander climbs, Knight & Bailey hold Mortos up, and Komander tightrope walks to then jump and flip into position! JetSpeed give him a boost for the CODE RED!! Cover, TWO!! Mortos survives, Dralistico y Rush rise, and Bailey runs up. Dralistico DUMPS Bailey out with a hip toss!

Rush SUPERKICKS Knight down, then LFI regroup. “This is Awesome!” as LFI whip, drop down, hurdle, and then Rush SNAP GERMANS Komander! Mortos pops Komander up for a SAMOAN DROP! Then a feed to Dralistico for the FLYING CRUCIFIX DRIVER!! Cover, KNIGHT BREAKS IT! Mortos drags Komander up, suplexes, but Komander slips free! Hot tag to Bailey! Bailey dodges Mortos to tilt-o-whirl, wheelbarrow, and victory roll! Dralistico breaks it! Komander runs up, Dralistico puts Komander on the rope and CHOPS, but Komander BODY SCISSOR THROWS Dralistico out! Bailey PENALTY KICKS Mortos!

An epic battle with LFI and an epic victory, does this earn Knight & Bailey a chance at the Hurt Syndicate? MVP does lead the group back on stage and says give it up for these guys! It is impressive, given how JetSpeed was getting their asses kicked for about 10 minutes. But they had the temerity to pull that win off and that counts for a lot. But y’know what? MVP says they HAVE won their prize! Next week, JetSpeed VS Shelton Benjamin, Bobby Lashley AND MJF in a Trios Match! The beautiful part of that is, they get a preview of that ass whooping right now! The fans are torn as Lashley & Shelton storm in, but Knight & Bailey are right on them!

Lashley & Shelton shove them away, but then JetSpeed dodges, and they DOUBLE SUPERKICK! The fans fire up as then they DOUBLE SUPERKICK again! And then DOUBLE DROPKICK! Lashley & Shelton tumble out, and NOW MJF is here! But they send him into Komander’s MISSILE DROPKICK! The Hurt Syndicate regroups on the outside, only to turn around into TRIPLE PLANCHAS!! The fans fire up as the Hurt Syndicate gets humiliated! But will they make sure to hurt Knight, Bailey & Komander next week at the Summer Blockbuster?

 

Backstage interview with Daniel Garcia & Paragon.

Alicia Atout is with Red Death as he stands beside Adam Cole, Roderick Strong & Kyle O’Reilly. Cole asked for this time, so the floor is his. Cole appreciates Garcia for meeting them, and knows they’ve had their differences. But Cole would like to think there is also a mutual respect. More importantly, they can’t stand the Don Callis Family. Cole got an idea: Later tonight, the four of them take on any four Don Callis Family members, and together, Garcia & Paragon can teach them a lesson. What does he say? Garcia says yes, there is respect here. But there are a lot of things Garcia wants. Right now, getting his hands on the Callis Family is number one. See you out there.

They all fist bump and Garcia heads out. Will Garcia help Cole, Roddy & Kyle humble Callis and his pack of jackals? Or are they more like lambs to the slaughter?

Lexy Nair is now with Christian Cage, “Mother” Shayna, and Nick Wayne. She welcomes them back to Fyter Fest, and notes Nick Wayne’s tremendous showing in his first Best of the Super Juniors tournament. Christian says first thing’s first, Denver, he realizes the thin air up here cuts off the oxygen to their brains, so it gives a great excuse for them all to not be intelligent. But even they have to be smart enough to know that when The Patriarch appears, you sit down and shut your mouths while he conducts his business!

But Lexy is right, Nick had a great showing in NJPW BOSJ. But he didn’t win the tournament. Nick did have a grueling schedule of 14 matches in 22 days. But those are no excuse. Right, Nick? That kind of schedule would’ve earned anyone else a night off. But Nick is not just anybody! Nick is the (adopted) son of Christian Cage! Nick is the ROH World Television Champion! And tonight, they will keep this momentum going. Nick defends his title here tonight in Denver! Nick says great. Christian did this to him before he left, and it was light work for him. Well, Nick didn’t let Christian finish.

The stakes are a bit higher tonight. Not only will Nick be defending that title, it will be in a Fatal 4 Way! Now, Shayna, let’s go find a place to lie down- Oh, uh, well, no, they should actually watch this one. But don’t worry, Nick, Kip’s also got an even bigger surprise for you. What could that mean? The fans boo, but Caster hands the paper over and even adds a pen. The ref is confused as to why, and Caster says surely all the Maximaniacs here in the Mile High City wanna do one thing and one thing only, and that’s chant his name! Caster says here goes!

“Let’s Go, Max! You’re the Best Wrestler Alive! Let’s Go, Max! You’re the Best Wrestler Alive! Let’s Go, Max! You’re the Best Wrestler Alive!” The fans seem to go along with it, and Caster says he’ll be honest, that was still bad. He takes his documentation back from the ref and says tonight is the return of the five minute open challenge! Put five minutes on the clock! DUN DUN, it’s up! Now let’s see who can survive five with the Best Wrestler Alive! The fans cheer as POWERHOUSE HOBBS is here! Caster freaks out as now he must face one-third of The Opps! Hobbs isn’t even in his singlet, he just wants to fight!

The fans chant “MEAT! MEAT! MEAT!” as Hobbs rips his shirt off! The bell rings, Caster runs up, and Hobbs CLOBBERS him! Caster flounders around, the fans cheer, and Hobbs runs up to SPLASH! “MEAT! The bell rings and the fans fire up, but then Claudio goes right after Omega! The fans boo as Claudio fires off on Omega in the corner, but Brody CLUBS Claudio! Brody fires hands on Claudio, Dorada just watches, but then he joins in and helps mug Claudio. Dorada & Brody double whip Claudio to a corner, then they send Omega in! Omega ELBOWS Claudio! Brody whips Dorada and Dorada rolls to then CYCLONE SPLASH! Brody runs up and LARIATS Claudio! Then feed to Dorada’s SUPERKICK! Brody adds a ROLLING ELBOW! Omega adds the SLAM DUNK BULLDOG! The fans fire up while Claudio bails out!

Brody barks, the fans join in, and now three men circle. Omega and Dorada agree to kick Brody! They CLUB and ROCK Brody, then they double whip. Brody breaks the double lariat, but Dorada & Omega avoid lariats! They dropkick the legs out, then SUPERKICK DROPKICK COMBO! Brody tumbles out now, and Omega runs up to the ropes. Claudio runs away to deny the Plancha and fans boo. Dorada trips Omega, things speed up, and Omega hurdles. Dorada corkscrew flips over Omega, runs back in, but Omega bypasses. Dorada handsprings, Omega dodges, and the fans cheer this standoff!

Dorada and Omega shake hands, but Claudio CLOBBERS them both! The fans boo again as Claudio stomps them, but Brody CLUBS Claudio! Brody KNEES and whips Claudio, but Claudio grabs ropes. So Brody LARIATS Claudio and himself up and out of the ring! Omega aims again, and he PLANCHAS onto Claudio! The fans fire up and now Dorada FLIES to hit Brody! The fans fire up with Dorada as he rises up, and then he lines up another shot. Dorada runs in, but Brody TOSSES him over barriers! Claudio FLAPJACKS Omega onto barriers! Claudio UPPERCUTS Brody, Brody ROCKS Claudio, and they brawl!

Claudio BITES Brody’s forehead, a very Moxley like move! The fans boo but Claudio soaks up that heat. He makes Brody take a seat, then runs in, but Brody ROCKS him! Brody makes Claudio take a seat and the fans bark for this hellhound! Brody runs in, but Dorada leaps! Brody catches him, to POWERBOMB him onto Claudio! And now he CROSSBODIES them both against the barriers! Omega runs up, gets around Brody, and SNAP DRAGON SUPLEXES to the floor! Brody sputters and the fans are thunderous as Omega goes into the ring. Brody crawls, as does Claudio, and the Terminator Drums start up.

Omega builds speed and he FLIES! Down go both Claudio and Brody and Denver fires up! Omega high-fives the front row while Fyter Fest goes picture in picture.

Omega drags Claudio up and into the ring, brings him up, and CLUBS him on the neck. Claudio goes to ropes, Omega fires body shots, and then a CHOP! Omega stalks Claudio to another corner, CLUBS him again, then CHOPS him again! Claudio goes to a third corner, Omega whips but Claudio blocks! Claudio pokes Omega in the eyes! Claudio scoops for a BACKBREAKER! And then hits another BACKBREAKER! And another! Claudio drops Omega to DROPKICK Brody off the apron! Dorada runs up but Claudio UPPERCUTS him! Claudio gives Dorada a BARRIER BACKBREAKER! Then he whips Brody into the steel steps!

Claudio soaks up the heat while he paces around the outside. Claudio steps in, stalks Omega, and he clamps on a chinlock. Omega endures as Claudio grinds him down, then fights up to his feet. Omega fires body shots, breaks free, then runs the ropes, only to get caught into the chinlock! Claudio has almost a sleeper now as he sits Omega down. Omega still fights, still endures, and once again rises up. Omega JAWBREAKERS free! Brody is there to get Claudio at the ropes! Brody BEATS THE WAR DRUM! Omega runs up, Claudio slips away and Omega BLASTS Brody! Claudio reels Omega in for a BIG back suplex!

Claudio goes outside just to whip Dorada into the side of the stage! Claudio then hurries into the ring to ELBOW DROP on Omega! Fyter Fest returns to single picture while Claudio clamps on another chinlock. The fans rally for Omega as he fights up and fires more body shots. Omega fires forearms, then JABS! JABS! Claudio KNEES low! Claudio whips, Omega reverses and fireman’s carries! “YOU! CAN’T! ESCAPE!” ROLLING SENTON but Omega has to catch his breath. MOONSAULT, but onto knees! Claudio runs and RAMS Omega in the corner! And RAMS, RAMS, and RAMS! The fans boo but Claudio runs up, only for Omega to flip up and over!

Omega rolls, ducks a lariat and hits the SNAP DRAGON! Dorada is back, but Omega ducks his lariat to SNAP DRAGON! Brody is back, and busted open on his eyebrow. Omega ducks another lariat, but Brody fights the full nelson! Brody arm-drags free and LARIATS in the corner! Dorada returns and runs up, but Brody pops him up to a fireman’s carry! The fans bark as Brody marches around, CORNER DEATH VALLEY onto Omega! The fans fire up for that crash, but Claudio is back. Claudio dodges Brody to POP-UP UPPERCUT! Cover, TWO!! Brody survives and Claudio seethes! The fans rally as Claudio looks to Omega.

Claudio runs in, Omega BOOTS him away, but Claudio scoops! Omega slips free, and BLINDSIDE WHEEL KICKS! Claudio is in the corner now, and Omega runs in for a BLINDSIDE V-TRIGGER! The fans fire up and Omega brings Claudio to the top rope. Omega climbs, but Brody CLUBS Omega! Brody brings Omega down to CHOP, then Brody goes up after Claudio! Brody CLUBS away on Claudio, hoists him up, but Claudio fires body shots! The fans bark, Omega DOUBLE CHOPS Brody! Omega manages an Electric Chair Lift with Brody!? Brody fires hands, but Claudio is up! UPPERCUT DOOMSDAY DEVICE!! Cover, Omega CHOPS Claudio!

The fans rally while those three men are down. Claudio brings Omega up, but Dorada springboards in! MISSILE DROPKICK for Omega! Claudio TOSSES Dorada, TOSSES Omega, then gets a wild idea. Brody survives and a V-TRIGGER knocks Dorada into the corner!

The fans are thunderous and Omega takes aim at Claudio! BANG, and Omega runs to V-TRIGGER!! Omega brings Dorada around and Electric Chair Lifts! Dorada fights that and POISON-RANAS! Brody DISCUS LARIATS Dorada inside-out! Claudio LARIATS Brody, but Brody stays up! Brody roars, the fans are with him, and Brody LARIATS!!  Cover, TWO!! Claudio survives and the fans are thunderous! We now bridge from Dynamite’s time into Collision’s time as the fans chant for “A E DUB! A E DUB!” Brody and Claudio stand to trade forearms back and forth! “This is Awesome!” as the UPPERCUTS and forearms keep going!

Brody fires a flurry of forearms, but Dorada springboards in! Brody & Claudio catch him, pop him up, but Dorada lands out! Dorada ducks the haymakers to pop up and RANA Brody! Claudio whips him but Dorada flips over the dropdown! And he rolls back, but Claudio flips him! Dorada lands out, runs, ducks ‘n’ dodges, then tilt-o-whirl RANAS! The fans are thunderous as Dorada hurries to a corner. Dorada climbs, springboards, and FLYING RANAS!! Cover, OMEGA BREAKS IT! The champion keeps this going for more his own sake, but Dorada SUPERKICKS him! Dorada has Claudio but Claudio UPPERCUTS him down!

Claudio runs, but Dorada MONKEY FLIPS him up and out! The fans fire up as Dorada climbs! From the second rope, SHOOTING STAR ATTACK!! The fans fire up as the AEW Continental Champion is here! The Rainmaker makes his way to the ring in a golden paisley suit, and he is face to face with his old rival once again. They each show off their belts while the fans lose their minds! They get chippy already, and then they start throwing forearms! Omega still has fight enough to hammer away on the Rainmaker! But Okada BODY BLOWS! The fans boo, but Okada drags Omega up to waistlock.

Okada ripcords, RAIN- NO, Omega boots the lariat, and he hoists Okada up! ONE WINGED- NO, Okada flails free and runs away with his belt! The fans boo, but clearly these two are still gravitating towards each other. When and where will we see these two add a new chapter to their storied rivalry?

That means a lot of talent will be competing tonight, that means there will be a lot of talent that I have my eye on. But no no no no, I will not be competing tonight. Will Ospreay VS Lio Rush w/ Action Andretti!

The Aerial Assassin wants the top stars of AEW to wake up and realize they need to assemble in order to defeat the Death Riders. But while Ospreay wants to get that through to Hangman Page and Swerve Strickland, Lio insists on making himself the Man of the Hour. Will Lio show Ospreay that this is his Final Hour? Or will Ospreay remind us that he is on another level?

The bell rings and Lio bails out…? Lio talks trash on Denver, he and Action talk strategy, and the fans rally for Ospreay. Ospreay eggs Lio on so Lio returns. They circle, feel things out, then Lio picks a leg! Ospreay gets free but things speed up! Lio ducks ‘n’ dodges and redirects again and again! Ospreay still keeps up and he keeps Lio from getting away. So Lio SLAPS him! The fans boo, Lio hurries to ropes for a defense, and the ref has Ospreay stay back. Underhooks and STORM BREAK- DDT COUNTER!! Lio hurries up the corner, for the FINAL HOUR!! Cover, TWO!!! Ospreay survives and Lio is furious! But Action slides Lio one of their chain necklaces! Lio wraps it around his fist, runs up, but the ref sees it!

The fans boo but CRU soak up the heat. But wait! Here comes Hangman! The Cowboy was supposed to be here to speak, but now he might wanna whoop some ass! The fans cheer as Hangman DECKS Action! Then he slingshots, but Lio saves Action from the Buckshot! Denver fires up for #CowboyS*it while CRU retreats. Hangman makes sure Ospreay is alright, then helps him stand up. The fans cheer, will these two at least stick together against the Death Riders?

As Ospreay makes his exit, Hangman grabs a mic, and he goes ahead with his time to speak. “Look, if Will Ospreay is gonna have my back, well then I’ll have his.” The fans cheer, and Hangman says, “As much as I appreciate it, I do wanna make one thing clear: I am my own man. And I don’t need help to win the world championship. Not from anyone, not even Will Ospreay, and especially not from one of the worst men to ever walk this planet!” The fans are turn, but they know he means “SWERVE’S HOUSE!” Hangman says he does NOT need help from the kind of men who would threaten the safety of Hangman’s family for his own glory!

Tonight, Hangman makes another: “I will never need, nor will I ever accept, help from Swerve Strickland.” The fans are torn on that, but Hangman says he will ride into Texas, he will defeat Moxley, he will take that briefcase, he will take the AEW World Championship, hold it above his head for all of us, because All In is the night for all of the fans! For all of AEW! And All In: Texas will be HIS night! But then Moxley appears from the crowd! Seems the Maniac stuck around just for this moment. The fans tell off Moxley and cheer on Hangman in this stare down, but then Yuta & Marina reappear.

The fans boo, but even Claudio is back after that Fatal 4 Way. Fans cheer for “Whose House?” “SWERVE’S HOUSE!” But wait! Ospreay is back and he brought chairs! Ospreay and Hangman are now armed and dangerous! Moxley tells his team to stand down, and the fans boo as the Death Riders retreat. Will this not be the last time Moxley tries to get the drop on Hangman?

Lexy Nair is now with Kyle Fletcher, Konosuke Takeshita and Callis himself. The challenge was put out by Paragon, there seems to be a lot going on with the Family, so what is his response? Callis says Adam Cole made the challenge, he already accepted it, and Callis will send the family out to take care of him. Did Cole think what happened against Kyle Fletcher was bad? Wait until tonight! But Callis isn’t done here! Not at all. Bandido has cost them muy muy dinero! So he should get those morons, The Outrunners, who Callis hates, and Callis will show them #ProtoShita and the greatest luchador in the history of Mexico… Ladies and gentlemen, it’s HECHICERO~!

Speaking of great luchadores, Cash Wheeler & Dax Harwood still think they’re living lucha legends even though they haven’t been AAA World Tag Team Champions in YEARS! And now “Los Super Ranas” think they’re just going to hop over to CMLL and do it all over again? Will the Top Guys continue to grow their egos? Or will the second generation star and the Lion Warrior stop FTR before they get started?

The teams sort out and Cash starts against Atlantis. The fans rally as Atlantis offers a handshake, but Cash says no, thanks. They tie up, Cash and Atlantis are in a deadlock, btu Cash gets a headlock. Atlantis powers up and out, but Cash runs him over! The fans boo but Cash mockingly blows kisses. Cash eggs Atlantis on, offers a handshake in return, but this time Atlantis refuses. The two tie up again, and Cash wrenches to a hammerlock, Atlantis fights back with elbows then a headlock. Cash powers up and out, drops down, but then Atlantis ducks ‘n’ dodges to tilt=o-whirl RANA! The fans fire up and Atlantis victory rolls, TWO!

Cash scrambles away to the corner and the ref keeps Atlantis back. Cash and Dax talk strategy, then Cash resets with Atlantis. They knuckle lock, and Cash reels Atlantis in! Tag to Dax! Atlantis gets away, Templario steps up, and the fans cheer. The ref has both sides stand down, and Atlantis tags Templario in. The fans cheer as Temp and Dax circle. They tie up, Dax wrenches and wristlocks, then grinds the arm. Temp powers up and whips Dax away, but Dax runs him over! Things keep moving, but the TEMPLAROONI makes Dax back off! The fans fire up, Dax shoves Temp, then SLAPS him! Temp kicks, KICKS, and ENZIGIRIS!

Dax falls, Temp covers, TWO! Dax wants a timeout and the fans boo. Dax kisses Temp’s boot? Dax offers a handshake, Temp takes it, but then Temp CRUSHES Dax’s hand! Dax pokes Temp in the eyes! Dax CHOPS, CHOPS, and he puts Temp in a corner to CHOP! Temp CHOPS in return! And CHOPS again, and again! Dax headlocks, Temp powers up and out, things speed up and Temp hurdles. Temp runs, slips free of a scoop, but Dax blocks a kick. Dax FLIPS Temp, but Temp lands on his feet! Temp KNEES Dax down, then dodges Cash to KNEE him, too! FTR stagger, Atlantis hooks Dax and CHOPS him!

Atlantis then slingshots in, and he gets FTR for an ARM-DRAG RANA COMBO! FTR stagger up, into DOUBLE SUPERKICKS! Temp then gives Atlantis the boost to DOUBLE DROPKICK FTR! FTR bails out, the fans fire up with the luchadores, and the luchadores build speed. FTR duck the sliding dropkicks, but then Atlantis y Templario fire hands! The fans cheer but FTR want them to hold on! Temp sits Dax down and CHOPS him! Atlantis ROCKS Dax, then Temp puts Dax in the ring. Temp lifts Dax, Cash tags in, but Dax still takes the atomic drop! Cash grabs at Temp but Temp DECKS him! Temp storms up on Dax, hoists him up top, and CHOPS!

The fans cheer and Temp CHOPS again! Temp goes up, but Cash springs up after him! SUPER GERMAN SUPLEX, but Temp lands on his feet! Temp staggers to a corner, he BOOTS Cash away, then dodges Cash, only for Dax to SPINEBUSTER! Cash covers, TWO! The fans boo as Cash BLASTS Atlantis, and he stomps away on Templario while Fyter Fest goes picture in picture.

Cash stomps Temp again and again, then lets off to soak up heat. Cash drags Temp up, reels him in, and snap suplexes! Cover, TWO! Temp toughs it out but Cash drags him back up. Cash bumps Temp off buckles, CHOPS him, then JABS, JABS, JABS, and CHOPS! Cash taunts Atlantis, taunts the fans, then goes back to Temp. Temp slumps down and Cash mockingly asks what happened. Cash tags Dax, Dax eggs Temp on, then DROPKICKS him! Temp flops again and Dax mocks him. Dax stomps Temp, puts him in the roes, and CHOKES him! Big Stoke taunts Temp, Cash BOOTS him down, and Dax drags Temp back up.

Dax sends Temp into Cash’s boots! Cash tags in, drags Temp away from Atlantis, but Temp KICKS Cash! Temp hurries over but Cash BLASTS Atlantis first! No tag! Cash stomps Temp, drags him up, and snapmares him while Fyter Fest goes to break.

Fyter Fest returns and the fans rally for “Lucha! Lucha!” But Dax CHOPS Temp down! And then he stands Temp up to whip and ELBOW him! Temp wobbles, flops out of the ring, and Atlantis coaches Temp up. But Dax sucker punches Atlantis! FTR drags Atlantis in and DOUBLE SUPLEX, only for Atlantis to land out! Atlantis goes up and over to dodge Cash and duck Dax! Temp is back to CROSSBODY! Both FTR fall, then stand up into DOUBLE SUPERKICKS! The fans fire up, Atlantis y Temp LARIAT FTR up and out of the ring! The fans fire up more while Stoke panics! And then the luchadores DOUBLE DIVE!

The fans fire up with “SI! SI! SI!” as FTR goes down! Atlantis puts Dax in, Temp storms in, and Temp tags Atlantis. They roll Dax into a wheelbarrow and then Temp goes up! MISSILE DROPKICK WHEELBARROW GERMAN COMBO! Cover, TWO!! Dax survives and Atlantis is a bit surprised. The fans rally and Temp has Dax up. Atlantis runs up but Dax BOOTS him! Dax and Temp standing switch again and again, but Atlantis pulls Temp out of the whirlpool to give Dax a CUTTER! Temp hurries, he goes up Atlantis’ shoulders, ELECTRIC CHAIR SPLASH! Cover, TWO!! Dax survives and Atlantis is shocked!

Atlantis tags Temp, they double whip Dax, but Dax ducks the lariats and Cash trips Atlantis up! But Temp still gets Dax for LA MAGISTROL! TWO!! Dax escapes, but Temp RANAS him down! Cover, TWO!! Dax escapes again, Temp goes up, victory roll, TWO!!! Dax still escapes and Temp is shocked! Dax crawls, Temp runs up, but Dax pops Temp up! Cash tags in, Temp fires forearms on FTR, and then Temp CROSSBODIES! Dax is down, Cash runs up, but Temp ALLEY-OOPS Cash into the buckles! Atlantis drags Dax out now as Temp rolls Cash up, TWO!!! Cash escapes by nanoseconds and the fans are stunned!

Cash BOOTS Atlantis down and Stoke talks trash. Temp CHOPS and ROCKS and CHOPS FTR on repeat, but Dax kicks low! Dax whips, FTR sets up, but Atlantis SUPERKICKS Dax! Temp jackknife bridges Cash, TWO! Atlantis SUPERKICKS Cash! Temp SUPERKICKS Cash! Cash falls, Atlantis goes up! The fans fire up but Dax hurries to trip Atlantis! Temp DECKS Dax, then dumps Cash out to ROCK him! Temp fires up, and he suplexes Cash, but Dax trips him! Cash covers, FTR WINS!!

The Top Guys again resort to underhanded tactics to get a win! Stokely has the mic and has the music stop. “Hold on just one minute please. And if I recall correctly, they are the winningest tag team in AEW history! Which means out of all the tag teams, they have won the most. So it doesn’t matter what company you’re from, what country you’re from, everybody, whether you like it or not, everyone falls to F T R!” Dax takes the mic to add, “Excuse me a second. The greatest tag team of all time is trying to speak!”

The Prodigy’s condescending “father,” Christian Cage, put him into this situation as his passive aggressive way of saying Nick should’ve done better in the Best of the Super Juniors. The Spanish God, the Whole Fox’n Show and Big Shotty all want that gold, but will Nick defy the odds? Or will he continue to “disappoint” the Patriarch?

The introductions are made, the belt is raised, and we see who is the Face of ROH TV!

The fans fire up, but then Nick BOOTS Sammy! Fox and Nick stare down, Nick shoves Fox but Fox shoves back,

The fans rally as these two get on their beef again. Fox shoves Nick and Lee trips Nick up! Lee drags Nick out, but Fox FLIES! Down goes Lee and the fans fire up! Sammy blocks Nick’s kick to CHOP him! Sammy has Nick on the ropes and he CHOPS! Sammy whips, hurdles, and backflips to then DROPKICK! The fans fire up for Sammy as he kips up so smooth! Fox springboards in, but Sammy JUMP KNEES him down! Sammy builds speed and DIVES! Direct hit and Fox is sent into railing! Sammy keeps going and he FLIES out onto Nick! The fans fire up again and Sammy says this is his show now! Sammy hurries back in, wrenches, and CUTTERS Fox! Cover, TWO!

Fox stays in this but Sammy calls his shot! Ricochet says no, the 630 is HIS move! Sammy goes to the corner, Blake Christian distracts, and then Lee SHOVES Sammy off the corner! Lee jumps in, builds speed, and he FLIES! Direct hit on Sammy and the fans fire up! Fox is on the apron, he SUPERKICKS Lee! Fox goes up the corner, TIGER WALL MOONSAULT! The fans fire up as Fox puts Lee in and Denver rallies for him. But then Vanilla Baby Blake CANNONBALLS onto Fox! The fans boo as Big Shotty gets help, and Fyter Fest goes picture in picture.

Lee has Fox in a corner and he CHOPS! And then CHOPS again! Lee whips corner to corner, runs in and LARIATS! Then he snapmares for a slide and BASEMENT FOREARM! Cover, TWO! Fox toughs it out and goes to the ropes, but Lee CHOKES him! The ref reprimands but Lee stops when he wants to. Lee scuffs Fox on the apron, scuffs him again and again, then brings him up and in for a DRAPING DDT! Big Shotty strikes like a viper, and he talks trash on Fox. Fox stands to put Lee in the corner and stomp away! Fox climbs up to rain down fists! Fox goes way past TEN, but Lee trips him up before hitting 20! Lee CHOPS Fox down in the corner!

Sammy is back and he CHOPS Lee! And CHOPS again! Lee kicks low, suplexes high and hard, then covers, only for Nick to break it! Nick TOSSES Lee, drags Sammy up, and Nick ROCKS Sammy! Nick stomps Sammy at the ropes, stalks him to a corner, then stomps away! Christian seems torn while Nick digs his boots in. Nick lets off to soak up heat, then he drags Sammy back up. Nick whips Sammy to then KNEE him at the ropes! Nick shakes his head and whips Sammy again, to KNEE Sammy again! Nick drags Sammy around while Fyter Fest returns to single picture. Sammy runs kitchen sink into roll-up, TWO!

Nick runs in but Sammy dodges! Sammy RAMS Nick, GAMANGIRIS from the apron, then slingshots in, but Nick make sit a backslide! TWO, and Sammy ducks a roundhouse to KNEE again! Torture rack and GO TO HOSPITAL!! Cover, Lee breaks it! Lee wags his finger, Ricochet says that was a smart move, and Lee brings Sammy up. Sammy shoves free to SUPERKICK! Sammy reels Lee in, torture racks, but Lee CLAWS Sammy’s eyes!

Lee is free, he fireman’s carries, and he hits a ROLLING DEATH VALLEY on Sammy! PENALTY KICK! STANDING MOONSAULT! Cover, TWO! Sammy stays in this and Ricochet admits that was great. The fans chant, “Christian’s Balding!” while Lee drags Sammy in. But Fox ENZIGIRIS Lee! The fans fire up as Fox then runs in at Lee in the corner, but Lee ENZIGIRIS back! And SUPERKICKS! But Fox goes Matrix to PELE, only for Lee to duck it! But Nick has Lee for a SNAP DRAGON! Nick and Fox stare down and the fans fire up! Nick BOOTS Fox, Fox fires a forearm, and they fire off! Nick kicks low, runs, but Fox hits a THESZ PRESS!

Fox rains down fast hands and Ricochet is annoyed. Nick gets free, but Fox BOOTS him! Fox reels Nick in, suplexes, ANARCHY! Nick tumbles away while the fans fire up! Lee is back in and Fox runs up. Fox blocks boots, puts Lee in the ropes and CLUBS him! Fox slingshots up and around to DRAPING DESTROYER!! Ricochet says that ain’t right. Fox then goes up the corner to SUPER SWANTON onto everyone else!! The fans are thunderous and losing their mind while Fox puts Nick in the ring. Fox goes up, up, and SWANTON BOMBS onto knees! Nick ROUNDHOUSES Fox, then hooks Fox up for the PRODIGY PLEX!! Cover, Nick wins!!

Thekla VS Lady Frost!

The Toxic Spider, the Venom of Vienna, the Idol Killer, made quite the reputation for herself in Japan via Stardom, but she also got herself FIRED from there after physically assaulting the promotion’s president! Then she shows up in AEW to suddenly attack Jamie Hayter! Will AEW soon be caught up in Thekla’s web?

The bell rings and the fans rally and duel already. Thekla and Forst step up, and then Thekla kicks low! Thekla whips, runs up, and ROCKS Frost! Thekla snapmares Frost, aims, and basement SUPERKICKS! The fans cheer as Thekla clamps onto Frost with a RINGS OF SATURN, but also fishhooks the mouth! The ref counts, Thekla lets go, and she warns the ref. But Frost storms up on Thekla to kick low! Frost aims but Thekla ducks the buzzsaw, only for the HEEL KICK to hit! Thekla sputters, Frost fires up and runs, but Thekla goes Spider-Woman in the ropes to KICK Frost back! Frost staggers back and Thekla lines up a shot.

Thekla runs up and BOOT WASHES Frost! Thekla goes to the apron, and runs up to BOOT again! The fans fire up for Thekla and she stalks Frost. Frost fires hands and forearms, then ROCKS Thekla! Frost runs, Thekla DECKS her! Thekla then spider-walks! The fans fire up and Frost freaks out a bit! Thekla runs up to SPEAR!! But that’s not all, she reels Frost into the DEATH TRAP!! Every single time somebody new comes to AEW, yeah, they’re trying to make names for themselves by any means necessary. Why? Well, this is where the best wrestle. But Thekla, I’m the one and only African Queen. And you wanna know what we do to spiders in Africa? We stomp on them, let them writhe like little young gamanjis. But if you don’t know what that means, you can just go google it. So, I do have an idea: Next week, you VS the Queen! And we’ll find out who’s going to stomp on who.”

Tony Schiavone lets us know that after the confrontation earlier tonight, Tony Khan has made it official for All In: Texas! KENNY OMEGA VS KAZUCHIKA OKADA, WINNER TAKES ALL!! Both the Continental and International Championships will be on the line, so who proves they are AEW’s best intercontinental talent?

 

8 Man Tag: Daniel Garcia & Paragon VS Lance Archer, Josh Alexander & Roppongi Vice w/ Don Callis!

The challenge was made and the challenge was accepted, and now Red Death teams with Kyle O’Reilly, Roderick Strong & ADAM COLE BAYBAY against some common enemies! But will Fyter Fest be undisputed? Or will the Murderhawk Monster, Walking Weapon, Azucar & #JustTrent make sure #EverybodyDies?

The teams sort out, Roddy and Rocky start and they tie up. They go around, Roddy goes for an arm and he wrenches Rocky. The fans rally but Rocky rolls, wrenches, and grinds the arm. Roddy wrenches back, wristlocks, but Rocky breaks free to CHOP! Roddy CHOPS back, then tags Cole. The fans tell Callis off while Cole wrenches. Rocky knees low, tags Trent, and Trent bumps Cole off buckles. Trent fires forearm after forearm, the ref backs him off, and Trent mocks Cole with a “DON CALLIS, BAYBAY!” The fans boo but Trent runs up on Cole. Cole BOOTS Trent, then JUMPING NECKBREAKERS! Cover, TWO!

Cole brings Trent over, tags Kyle, and they mug Trent. Kyle wrenches but Trent throat chops! Trent hurries to tag Alexander, and he scoops Kyle for a SLAM! Cover, TWO! Alexander clamps onto Kyle with a headlock, but Kyle powers up and out. Alexander RUNS Kyle over, keeps moving, but Kyle hits him with a kitchen sink KNEE! Tag to Garcia and the fans fire up. Garcia climbs up again and rains down more fists! He punches Trent & Alexander, but Rocky drags Garcia down! Garcia just adds Rocky to the mix! Garcia climbs up and he manages to rain down fists! The fans count along, but Archer grabs Garcia at 7! CHOKE SLAM! The fans boo but the family drags Garcia away to CHOKE him in the corner! The fans boo more but Fyter Fest goes picture in picture.

Rocky tags in, the mugging continues, and Rocky snapmares Garcia to then scrape his soles off Garcia’s face! Rocky drags Garcia around, tags Trent, and RPG Vice double whip. They DOUBLE ELBOW Garcia down, Trent soaks up heat, and he kicks Garcia around. Trent has Garcia on the ropes, but Garcia fires back with haymakers! Garcia runs, but Trent fireman’s carries, SPINNING DEATH VALLEY! Cover, TWO! Trent has the ref watch the Paragon, then he drags Garcia away. Tag to Archer and he looms over Garcia. Archer drags Garcia up to CLUB him down! Archer brings Garcia up to suplex, stall, and he holds on even as Garcia fires body shots!

Archer finally SLAMS Garcia down! Tag to Rocky and he drags Garcia up to suplex high and hard! Rocky slides for the celebration! Tag to Alexander and he stomps Garcia. Alexander talks trash, drags Garcia up, and CLUBS him back down! Alexander suplexes high and hard, then soaks up heat. Tag to Trent, the mugging continues, and Trent soaks up heat. Trent reels Garcia in, but Garcia suplexes! Both men are down and Paragon coaches Garcia up. Trent crawls, hot tag to Alexander, and he CLOBBERS Garcia! Kyle leaps from the apron, DOUBLE MISSILE DROPKICK! The fans are thunderous, but then Archer CANNONBALLS onto them all!! The fans are thunderous as Archer laughs, and Archer puts Cole in the ring. Alexander storms over to the corner but Kyle & Roddy drag Archer down! He DOUBLE LARIATS them, and Alexander underhooks Cole! But Cole BACKDROPS free! Hot tag to Garcia! 52 FAKEOUT for Alexander, then Cole goes up the corner! PANAMA SUNRISE! Feed to a rolling jackknife, but Archer deadlifts Garcia! CORNER CHOKE SLAM!! The fans boo but Roddy & Kyle go after Archer! Archer just grabs both of them! But they break free, and give Archer TOTAL ANNIHILATION! Rocky is back, he gets a KICK and  CHOP!, but he KICKS Roddy back! DOUBLE SLICED BREAD!! Alexander and Garcia go to corners, hot tags to Trent and Cole!

The fans fire up as Cole and Trent fire forearms! Cole gets the edge, then runs, but Trent ROLLING ELBOWS! Trent runs, but Cole BOOTS him! Cole fireman’s carries, but Trent CLAWS the eyes! Trent hits a SNAP HALF ‘N’ HALF! Cole sputters, Trent soaks up the heat, and Trent runs in, but into a SUPERKICK! Cole goes up, up, and PANAMA- NO, Trent blocks, Rocky tags, and Trent tucks Cole in! But Garcia BOOTS Trent into a SUNSET BOMB! But Alexander drags Garcia out to SMACK him off the desk! Rocky still leaps but Cole dodges! Rocky mule kicks, runs, springboards, but into a SUPERKICK!

Garcia does the dance aimed at Callis, then he joins his teammates in celebrating. Garcia raises Cole’s hand, pats the title on his shoulder, but then Konosuke & Kyle make their way out here. Will the full Don Callis Family tear down the Paragon and make themselves the pillars of AEW? Or will AEW be undisputed then, now and forever?

My Thoughts:

An awesome night for AEW, but it sure has been a long time since I’ve had to pull a night like this. It was when AEW and NXT had their “Wednesday Night Wars,” in fact. But now AEW can just do four hours on their own, putting Dynamite and Collision on back to back and calling it something like Fyter Fest. Though, with that, Ricochet’s promo talking about four hours of AEW and how he’ll be watching everyone else would have worked better if they used it to OPEN the four hours. Putting it on as the break between Dynamite and Collision just makes it seem like he showed up halfway through, not realizing he was late to the show.

Speaking of Ricochet, him watching the ROH World TV Fatal 4 is an interesting move. Ricochet wants his own faction, and the only guys I see that’d join him from that match specifically are Lee Johnson & Blake Christian. They’re a bit aimless as a couple talented guys filling the ROH midcard, so I could see them moving up to AEW to pal around with arrogant Ricochet. And while Nick defies the odds of winning, I didn’t see this “surprise” Kip Sabian has for Nick. I can’t imagine I missed it, so perhaps that will be revealed on social media or for next week’s Summer Blockbuster.

Great opening with Ospreay talking about the team-up situation, but CRU interrupting really was a headscratcher. Ospreay VS Lio was still a great match for Collision’s opener, and it gave Hangman a reason to show up and help Ospreay. And Hangman showing up was a great excuse for the Death Riders to go out there, which then in turn gave Ospreay reason to come back and help Hangman. It still feels like Swerve and Hangman, despite what they both have said, will end up working together, even if they don’t initially mean to. Something’s gotta give if Moxley is to lose the title, and the bitter enemies turning into allies is a moment that’ll also get everyone to go nuts.

Great tag match from Toni & Mina VS Julia & Skye, and I appreciate the creativity from Mone. For all the “rich person” gimmicks in the history of pro-wrestling, I don’t think I’ve ever seen someone have a steak dinner with red wine at ringside. Honestly, if TK is going to do those big prize money matches, he should plan ahead for the winner(s) to kayfabe splurge on something like that. But anyway, Toni & Mina of course won, and I like how Toni finished Mone’s steak for her. I feel like they should flip it and Toni has a fancy dinner while watching Mone, but probably not.

Great promo from the Hurt Syndicate, and you can bet Mistico VS MJF will happen for Grand Slam: Mexico. Good promo in response from Komander and #JetSpeed. Awesome Six Man Tag with them and LFI. I was hoping LFI would get going again, earn their way to the tag titles or at least the trios titles, but clearly Hurt Syndicate takes priority and they will fight Faces. The Six Man Tag for next week will also be great, but the Hurt Syndicate surely wins that one. But even then, some team has to step up and challenge for the tag titles, I just can’t be sure who.

Max Caster again fails his own challenge, that was a good win for Hobbs just for the fun of it. I wonder if Caster’s five minute challenge is used as a roundabout way to get Hobbs VS Hook. I can’t remember who beat Caster faster but that can be the excuse, when the real reason is Hook feels forgotten because Hobbs joined The Opps. Bowens has a very good promo to call out Kyle Fletcher, their match could be a show stealer. Thekla sure made quick work of Lady Frost, but it was obvious she was going to win anyway. Aminata stepping to Thekla is good and all, but why isn’t it just Hayter? Granted, Aminata needs something to do while we still wait on the ROH Women’s Pure Championship tournament to be finalized, but it kinda hurts Aminata to lose to Thekla going into that.

Great tag match from FTR VS Templario y Atlantis Jr, but of course FTR cheats to win. Can’t wait to see if they get a match for Grand Slam: Mexico, and chance are they cheat to win that, too. Awesome return for Tay Melo in saving Anna Jay from Megan & Penelope. We just got a wild tag match from Anna & Harley VS Megan & Penelope, but maybe we build to another one with Tay. The AEW International Championship not being THE main event was a little surprising, but then we saw how it set up Omega VS Okada in Winner Takes All, so that explained it. Plus, with as late as this show was going to go, fans were able to watch that awesome Fatal 4 Way before midnight.

And the Don Callis Family sure was busy. I do appreciate that the Don Callis Family is expanding. They’ve got seven wrestlers with Hechi joining up, so they’re on par with any given faction in NJPW. Also, Callis falling over while he punches someone is hilarious. The Six Man Tag was great, I wonder if that sets up Bandido VS Hechicero for Supercard of Honor in Texas. I don’t see Kyle or Konosuke bothering with the ROH World Championship anymore, and Hechi can take the loss no problem. Then the 8 Man Tag was very good, and the Faces winning there made sense. For one, it evens out with the Six Man Tag going to the Callis Family.

Also, it teases that we might get Cole VS Garcia again. If that happens, I wonder if Garcia turns and joins the family… It is the only thing that’d really spice up what Garcia and Paragon are even doing, as the TNT Championship has been just sitting around while TK figures this stuff out.

The bell rings and the fans rally as the two circle. Komander and Claudio tie up, and Claudio puts Komander on the ropes. The ref counts, the fans rally for Komander, but Claudio CHOPS! Claudio kicks low, UPPERCUTS and stomps away in the corner! The ref counts, the fans boo, but Claudio stops. Abrahantes coaches Komander but Claudio CHOPS! Komander goes to a corner, he shoves Claudio but Claudio CHOPS again! Komander CHOPS! And fires body shots! And repeat! Komander backs Claudio down, headlocks, but Claudio powers out. The bell rings and the fans cheer already as Bowens and Okada circle. They tie up, are in a deadlock, but Okada’s height gives him the leverage to put Bowens on ropes. Backstage interview with Daniel Garcia & Matt Menard.

Lexy Nair is with Red Death & Daddy Magic, and asks after that tough loss to FTR at Double or Nothing, what is next for Garcia? Garcia says a tough loss is an understatement. That was one of the hardest tag matches- Menard cuts Danny off there. Menard wants Garcia to think. Garcia has been moving around this whole week. Garcia wants others to fight his battles for him, but what did he think was gonna happen? Is that the first match he’s ever lost? Does Garcia think it’ll be the last? Don Callis interrupts Menard’s rant to ask, “Is this your version of an inspirational speech?” Then he asks Garcia, “What’re you doing with this guy?”

Garcia says Menard is his mentor. Oh, wow, [Censored] Magic is his mentor? Callis says Garcia is a Lamborghini. If you need to tune the Lamborghini up, you don’t take it to someone who’s never been under the hood, you take it to the number one mechanic, and that’s Don Callis. Garcia should join the family, instead of listening to this. Menard says let’s ask Kenny Omega or Will Ospreay how good of a “mentor” Callis is, huh? Garcia says he is sick of old men telling him how to do his career. Garcia tells Callis to get his “boiled hot dog looking ass” out of his face. Archer gets heated, but Callis has him stand down.

Callis says Garcia is right about one thing: he is an old man; a RICH, SUCCESSFUL old man! But the Family wants volunteers, not hostages. He is just asking Garcia to do something he hasn’t been doing for awhile, and that is think. Callis leaves Garcia to think on this offer, will the answer still be no?

Their win at Double or Nothing has made them THE winningest tag team in AEW history, and Nigel on commentary says he learned just how good they are. He just hopes FTR holds up their end of the agreement to just leave commentary alone. Stokely still rudely takes the mic from Schiavone, and he excuses Schiavone back to the desk.

Stokely says, “Sunday at Double or Nothing, FTR proved once again that they are the greatest tag team alive today.” The fans boo, but Stokely says FTR proved they are indeed Living Legend Killers, and more importantly, they proved they are right about Nigel McGuinness. Behind that commentary desk is where he belongs! They give Nigel an A for effort but a D for execution. But Stokely moves on from that. They are in El Paso, Texas! That Mexican border is just a hop, skip and a jump away. And FTR, out of the goodness of their hearts, because they are good guys, have issued an open challenge to any tag team south of the border!

Stokely has the full terms of that contract right here! He hands it to Cash to hold for him, and Stokely reads it. “Andale, andale, mami, eya eya OOOOH~! What’s poppin’ tonight?” But wait! Cash says they respect both men so much. They are big fan of Atlantis’ father, a huge legend in lucha libre! But what everyone might know is that FTR are living lucha legends themselves. They’ve been “Seven Star FTR’ for a little too long. Maybe they become Eight Stars? Maybe they go to CMLL and add that gold? These two can be a nice little warm-up for that! Dax pulls the usual interrupting shtick, because he says the “Mighty Morphing Power Ranger” masks keep people from knowing who they are! The next question is, in Arena Mexico, Grand Slam, HUGE conglomeration between their companies, what would their dream match be? Because Dax is pretty sure that has to be with a big star team, like FTR! Unfortunately, Tony Khan has bigger plans than that for FTR, so they can’t wrestle Atlantis y Templario. But again. big fan of Atlantis Sr, the OG. He’s had great matches as a FIVE-TIME CMLL World Tag Team Champoin.

And even still today, Atlantis Sr, at 62 years old, is still wrestling! Impressive! Can Dax send a message to him? Please tell your dad, “Keep your old ass at home and not mess with FTR.” The fans boo but Atlantis Jr. takes the mic! Atlantis says his dad isn’t here to defend himself, but Atlantis Jr. is! The teams sort out, and Cosmo starts against Kaun. The fans sing for their local guy, but Kaun TOSSES Cosmo to a corner, CHOPS him, then laughs and applauds. But Cosmo BOOTS, ENZIGIRIS, and then dodges! Cosmo runs, hurdles, but Kaun ELBOWS Cosmo down. Kaun then clinches for the URENAGE BACKBREAKER! And then a RUNNING SUPLEX! The fans are torn but Kaun grins, and stalks Cosmo. Kaun whips but Cosmo RAN- NO! Kaun stops the rana, to BUCKLE BOMB! Tag to Liona, and the Gates TOSS Cosmo to his corner! The fans fire up and Cosmo tags GMO. GMO goes up, hesitates, but he AX HANDLES Liona!

Liona isn’t even bothered, and GMO clutches his hands! Liona BODY SHOTS GMO again and again, then fires off in a corner! The fans rally, the ref counts, and Liona stops to roars and storm around. GMO gets up and dodges Liona, then DROPKICKS! Liona frowns, GMO panics, but Liona CLOBBERS him! Kaun steps in and SHOTGUNS Cosmo! Aerospace are in the corners, Liona HIP ATTACKS GM and Kaun METEORAS Cosmo! Then OPEN THE GATES! They stack GMO & Orion, cover, and win!

Max Caster met with fans today.

It was the AEW All Elite Experience in El Paso that Platinum Max tried to teach fans his chant: Let’s Go, Max! You’re the Best Wrestler Alive! Some picked up on it, but it seemed like most didn’t care. Caster says that’s right! They love him! Now, anyone who wants pictures is welcome, but he needs them to sign his petition to make AEW recognize him as THE Best Wrestler Alive. Is that okay with everyone? The fans seem okay with that, and they sign up. Caster has the fans line up, then he runs for it! He just wanted the signatures! Will someone, anyone, ever humble him?

 

Six Man Tag: La Faccion Ingobernable VS AR Fox & Top Flight!

LFI is finally at full power as Rush, Dralistico y Beast Mortos team together again, ready to take over AEW once and for all. But will these bulls stampede all the way to the top? Or will the big money trio prove they’re worthy of the gold?

LFI doesn’t wait for anything to sort out, they go right after Fox & Top Flight! They toss Darius aside, mug Dante and Fox, then they TOSS Fox out! Leila Grey hurries away so as not to get run over! Dralistico y Mortos mug Fox, Rush rips a buckle pad away, and then they send Fox in! Rush CHOPS Fox, CHOPS him again, then goes for the bare steel! Fox stops that to fire back! Fox goes Matrix to then PELE! Mortos SMACKS Fox, Dralistico shoves him down, and the mugging continues! The fans are torn but LFI double whips Fox. Fox stops himself at the ropes, Dralistico runs up, and Fox TOSSES him out! Mortos runs up but is put on the apron!

Fox sweeps the legs, then he runs to SLINGSHOT STOMP Mortos, and CANNONBALL onto Dralistico! But Rush CLOBBESR Fox! Darius DIVES onto Rush! Dante DIVES onto Mortos! The fans fire up with Angel Dorado and he slides in. Darius puts Rush in, Dante somersaults and SATELLITE DDTS! Cover, TWO! Rush survives and Mortos WHEEL KICKS Dante down! But Darius runs in, runs past Mortos, and he TIGER WALL KICKS using the corner! Dralistico runs up to DREAMCAST KICK! Fox BOOTS Dralistico! Rush THROWS Fox up and over into the corner! LFI stands tall, the fans cheer them on, and Mortos puts Fox in a corner.

Mortos CHOPS Fox, Rush tags in and he CHOPS! Rush whips Fox to then LARIAT him down! Rush whips Fox to the bare buckle, then SPLASHES! Fox flops down, Ruch ROCKS him! Rush then goes corner to corner, “No pasa nada, PERRO!” But he just feints the dropkick to BOOT Fox! Rush rolls back to tranquilo, and El Paso fires up while Collision goes picture in picture.

Rush soaks up cheers, brings Fox up, then he GRINDS Fox’s face off ropes! Rush argues with the ref, Dralistico holds Fox against ropes, and Rush SMACKS Fox down! Rush wrenches Fox, tags Mortos, and they mug Fox in the corner. Mortos whips Fox to a corner, UPPERCUTS, LARIATS, and GAMANGIRIS! Then he SNAP POWERSLAMS Fox down! Cover, TWO!! Fox survives but Mortos is on him with a chinlock. Mortos grinds Fox down, but Fox fights up to his feet. LFI rushes in to BLAST Top Flight! Rush sends Darius into steel steps! Dante fights back with forearms! Rush whips Dante into railing hard!

Mortos stomps Fox in the corner, tags Dralistico in, and Dralistico whips Fox back into the corner. Dralistico ELBOWS Fox, sits him down, and runs side to side for a SUPERKICK! Dralistico lounges up top and Collision goes to break.

Collision returns and Mortos has Fox in a facelock. Mortos KNEES Fox low, then he SPITS at Top Fight! The ref keeps Top Flight back, but that lets Rush help Mortos whip Fox to a corner! Rush sends Mortos in, LARIAT! Rush sends Dralistico in, SPLASH! Rush adds a SPALSH of his own! Snapmare and TRIPLE BASEMENT DROPKICK! Mortos covers, TWO!! Fox survives and the fans fire up! Mortos whips Fox to the corner, Fox BLASTS Dralistico and BOOTS RusH! Fox BOOTS Mortos, goes up, up, and CANNONBALLS! The fans fire up while both men crawl! Hot tags to Dralistico and Darius!

The fans fire up as the Air Wolf rallies on LFI! He BOOTS Dralistico, runs, and HOTSHOT BULLDOGS! GAMANGIRI for Rush! SUPERKICK for Dralistico! Step-in FLATLINER! Cover, Mortos breaks it! Dante waistlocks Mortos, Mortos backs Dante down but Dante sends him into the bare buckle! Dante runs up, Mortos puts Dante on the apron but Dante goes up, over, around and GAMANGIRI! Darius waistlocks, Dante steps in, but Mortos fights! He still ends up in the SHOTGUN GERMAN! Rush shoves Dante, Darius gives Dante the boost up and over, then Darius kicks off of Dante to TORNADO DDT Rush!

The fans rally, Fox joins in, and Top Flight sends him in at Dralistico! A-LIST LARIAT! Dante RAMS Dralistico, Darius UPPERCUTS, then Fox skins the cat to SWINGING DROPKICK! RIPCORD CUTTER!! Cover, TWO!! Dralistico survives and the fans fire up again! Top Flight regroup, Darius brings Dralistico up and Dante climbs. But Dralistico shoves Darius into the ropes to trip Dante up! SUPERKICK for Darius! Then a springboard FLYING DESTROYER!! Cover, Fox breaks it! Rush runs up, Fox goes Matrix but Mortos SOBATS! Mortos KNEE SMASHES and Rush GERMAN SUPLEXES Fox away!

The fans fire up again and Dralistico sets up in the corner. Dante runs in, Dralistico dodges for Rush to ROCK him! Dralistico springboards to FLYING CODE BREAKER! Dante flounders out, Dralistico FLIES to take Fox down! The fans fire up again as Rush now wrenches Darius and sends him to Mortos, POP-UP SAMOAN DROP! Darius is in the corner, Mortos DIVES onto Dante! “This is Awesome!” as now Rush brings Darius around. Rush stomps away in the corner, then “You mess with the bull…!” BULL’S HORNS!! Cover, LFI wins!

The ungovernable trio takes the win, and perhaps now they take the lead in the title chase. But Rush isn’t done, he grabs his favorite green cables! He LASHES Darius, CHOKES him, and the ref reprimands! LFI mugs Darius, but here comes Speedball & Komander! The fans fire up as Bailey SUPERKICKS Mortos and Komander brawls with Dralistico! Rush lets Darius go so he can brawl with Bailey, but Mortos is back! The 3v2 goes LFI’s way, but Fox and Dante are back! Now it’s 5v2! LFI is sent into retreat, what will this mean for the title chase for the Summer?

“Wednesday night, Mixed Six Tag Team match, and I took the L. Jon Moxley, you caught me in your little bulldog choke, ref called for the bell, ding ding ding. It happened. AEW International Championship Fatal 4 Way Qualifier: Mascara Dorada VS Hechicero!

Brody King qualified on Wednesday, and Claudio qualified earlier tonight. One represents the USA, the other represents Switzerland, and Kenny Omega represents Canada as the champion. Mexico will have a contender, but will it be the Second King of the Ropes or the Alchemist of Lucha that joins the Fyter Fest Fatal 4?

The bell rings and the two circle. Dorada offers a handshake, Hechi reaches out, and he tentatively takes it. The two circle, then Hechi slides to dazzle with his magic. The two knuckle lock, Hechi wrenches and wrangles Dorada fast. Dorada fights up, wrenches back, but Hechi spins and slips through to break free. The fans cheer, and the two reset. They knuckle lock, Dorada rolls to get a leg in a toehold, then he ties the legs up for a modified deathlock. Hechi powers up to push through, and he hits a KNEE JAMMER! Dorada grabs at Hechi but Hechi shoves him down. Hechi CHOPS Dorada, but Dorada KICKS and KICKS!

Hechi blocks a kick to TWIST the foot, then he hits a spinning toehold! Dorada still CHOPS, KICKS, but Hechi shifts to a headlock. Dorada slips out to hammerlock, facelock, then fireman’s carry takeover. Dorada clamps on headscissors, then pulls on the arms! Hechi rolls back, O’Conner Roll into a wheelbarrow, but Dorada arm-drags free! Dorada kips up and the fans cheer the standoff! Dorada and Hechi tie up, Hechi waistlocks then shoves Dorada to ropes. Hchi then runs past, but Dorada ducks a lariat. Dorada hurdles, only for Hechi to catch him in a FLAPJACK! Hechi clamps onto legs, CHOPS Dorada on the back, and he has the arms!

The fans cheer as Hechi pulls Dorada into the ROMERO SPECIAL! Dorada endures, fights to get his arms free, and he stands on Hechi’s legs! Dorada turns things around on Hechi to have the legs, then the arms! Up, up, and away into the ROMERO SPECIAL! The fans cheer, but now Hechi fights free! Hechi rolls Dorada to pull him around by an arm. A bit of a stumble but Hechi still whips Dorada, blows past, and then slides out! Dorada runs to slide out, but Hechi slides in! Hechi toys with Dorada, Dorada slides in, and then Dorada and Hechi continue their cat ‘n’ mouse. Dorada fakes a springboard and Hechi slides out!

Dorada runs up to the corner to FLYING RANA! The fans fire up and Dorada puts Hechi back in. Dorada climbs as the fans rally, and Dorada uses the corner so he can DOUBLE JUMP FLYING RANA! The fans fire up as things keep moving, and Hechi HEADSCISSOR LEG DROPS!! Dorada staggers up, Hehich runs up and KNEES him in the corner! Dorada flops down, the fans rally up, and Hechi fires up! Hechi brings Dorada up, whips him to a corner, and LARIATS as Collision goes picture in picture.

Hechi LARIATS again, and again, and then JABS! JABS! JABS! Dorada drops but Hechi DECKS him all the same! Dorada flops out of the ring, Hechi pursues, and Hechi brings Dorada around to RAM into steel steps! Dorada hobbles and falls but the fans rally up for Hechi. Hechi drags Dorada up, fireman’s carries, and hits SNAKE EYES off the apron! Hechi puts Dorada in the ring, brings him around, and pulls at the mask?! The ref reprimands and Hechi stops to chicken wing Dorada’s arm. Hechi keeps pulling at the mask’s strings, but the ref reprimands. The fans boo and give thumbs down, so Hechi stops.

Hechi drags Dorada up, pump handles, and hits a BIG suplex! Cover, TWO! Dorada stays in this and Hechi is annoyed. Hechi kicks Dorada around, brings him up, and puts him in a corner to CHOP! Dorada sputters, Hechi runs up, but Dorada BOOTS him! And RANAS him! But Hechi comes back to LARIAT! Dorada is all folded up but Hechi stomps him. Hechi drags Dorada into a motorcycle stretch. Dorada endures, fights up, and Collision returns to single picture. Hechi shoves Dorada to a corner, fires body shots and a CHOP! The ref counts, Hechi whips, but Dorada reverses. Dorada runs in but Hechi puts him on the apron!

Hechi takes a swing but Dorada GAMANGIRIS! Then he slingshots, hops on, but Hechi reverses the momentum! Dorada lands out, avoids the boot, then he runs in and tilt-o-whirl RANAS! Hechi tumbles out, the fans fire up, and Dorada builds speed to TORNILLO!! The fans fire up and Dorada high-fives the front row. The fans rally, Dorada storms up on Hechi, and he puts Hechi in the ring. Dorada aims from the apron, goes up, up, and CROSSBODIES! Then he tilt-o-whirls, but Hechi throws him away to wheelbarrow! Victory roll, and POP-UP into the REAR NAKED CHOKE! Dorada endures, fights through to ghost pin, TWO!

Hechi has a cradle, TWO! Ghost pin, TWO! Chicken wing and SEATBELT, TWO! Dorada has a press, TWO! The fans fire up as both men stand. They both run in, and DOUBLE BOOTS take them both down again! The fans rally up while Hechi and Dorada stir. Dorada goes to a corner, runs in at Hechi, but Hechi puts him up top! Dorada backflips away but Hechi DISCUS SHOULDERS him down! Hechi knuckle locks, Dorada lifts but Hechi uses that to rock back and YANK Dorada up to a torture rack! But Dorada tilt-o-whirls through to RANA! Somersault and CODE RED!! Cover, TWO!! The fans fire up as Hechi survives!

Hechi crawls to the ropes, Dorada aims and builds speed. Hechi avoids the boot to CHOP, and DRAPING DRAGON SCREW! Dorada keeps the leg trapped, and he stands on it to STOMP it down! Dorada writhes but Hechi climbs, FLYING ELBOW! Cover, TWO!! Dorada survives and the fans fire up again! Hechi huffs ‘n’ puffs and he watches Dorada. Hechi wants the mask, but Dorada CHOPS! Dorada fires up, but Hechi CHOPS in return! Dorada rebounds to CHOP! Hechi nods and JABS! JABS! JABS! Then CHOPS! Hechi runs, but into a scoop and LUMBAR CHECK! The fans fire up as Hechi is now in a drop zone!

Dorada goes up, up, and aims for the DIVING- NO, Hechi dodges, and he dropkicks the leg out! Hechi brings Dorada around, puts him up top, and uses that to Electric Chair Lift! They go up higher, but Dorada fires hands! Dorada hops down, GAMANGIRIS, and then he goes back up! SUPER POISON-RANA!! Dorada puts Hechi in the drop zone, goes back up top, and he SHOOTING STARS!! Cover, DORADA WINS!

And there you have it! The Golden Mask 2 is now part of a golden opportunity! Will Dorada take the title from Kenny? Will it be Brody or Claudio instead? Or will the Best Bout Machine find a way to still be champion?

My Thoughts:

A great episode of Collision, even with it being prerecorded and then further delayed because of NBA Playoffs. A lot of last minute build to Fyter Fest, and I don’t even mean the qualifiers. Both qualifiers were awesome, and while I figured Claudio would win against Komander, I’m pleasantly surprised Mascara Dorada beat Hechicero in a great main event. That’s now technically three Faces and one Heel for the Fatal 4 Way, and just for the sake of story, I would hope the Death Riders don’t get more gold. They need to stay desperate about holding onto THE AEW World Championship while the proverbial walls are closing in.

Speaking of which, great promo from Mark Briscoe to call out Moxley, and they are going to have a great match, even with no title stakes on the line. And also a very good promo from Swerve with Ospreay to add their own tensions to this team-up story. Swerve doesn’t want to work with Hangman, he wants Ospreay to back off, but Ospreay is the one speaking sense again. Ospreay, Hangman and Swerve are the big 3 in terms of Faces, and then, whenever Darby Allin returns, that is quite the fearsome four to take on the Death Riders.

But the “last minute” stuff is the other tag matches they made for that HUGE four hour show. Mina of course beat Skye Blue, and I should’ve figured Julia would show up. Good save from Toni, and they’ll have a good tag match that I would think Toni & Mina win. Unless Mone gets involved, because she will be there on commentary. Great Six Man Tag of LFI VS Fox & Top Flight, and a very good win for LFI. Speedball & Komander making the save was good stuff, and I appreciate Kevin Knight will be joining in since he’ll be back from Japan by Wednesday.

Gates of Agony of course win their match, and I do feel they need another chance back to the tag titles. FTR had a very good promo with Atlantis y Templario, and that tag match could be a show stealer. It really should also lead into something bigger for Grand Slam: Mexico. FTR did mention they want tag titles, and the CMLL World Tag Team Champions are Los Nuevos Ingobernables, aka the NEW Ungovernables, Angel de Oro y Niebla Roja. I wonder if they’ll interact with LFI at all…

Great Six Man Tag of Don Callis Family VS Ishii & Paragon, but I figured the Family would win. Konosuke pinning Ishii really should lead to Konosuke challenging for the NJPW Strong title at either the next NJPW event in America, or even through AEW. Good promo from Garcia with Menard and Callis. Menard is being a bit harsh on Garcia, but I would hope Garcia doesn’t join up with the Callis Family. I’m just not sure how well Garcia fairs in a feud against them when his backup is sadly just Daddy Magic while the Callis Family has the most members it has ever had.

Hilarious promo from Caster where he is really trying hard with this Best Wrestler Alive thing, but in a new direction. I’m sure he’ll try getting fellow wrestlers to sign that, only to get beat up like with his Open Challenge. And an awesome match from Okada VS Bowens, even with it just being an Eliminator. Okada still wins as there might still be pans of Okada VS Omega, Winner Takes All, but Okada’s gotta have someone at least challenge him along the way. If nothing else, test the waters of what a 20 minute draw does for the eliminator and give someone a shot at the Continental Championship for the FOUR HOUR “Summer Blockbuster” on June 11th.
