Moxley glares at the ref, then goes back for Fox. Moxley KICKS! Fox frowns at him and eggs him on! The fans fire up as Moxley KICKS, but Fox still eggs him on! Shane drags Swerve up on the apron and Bravo wants Tony Schiavone to get in on this? Shane lifts Swerve, Swerve fights free, and he slips under! The Infantry freaks out as Swerve pulls on Shane, but Shane grabs Swerve to SLAM him off the apron! Then he APRON SPLASHES! The fans boo while Swerve falls, and Shane claims it’s HIS house now! The Infantry mockingly offer Swerve some money, but Shane drags Swerve up to HEADBUTT him! Collision returns, Shane has Swerve in a corner to talk trash, then he runs up, only for Swerve to dodge! Swerve then wraps Shane’s arm around ropes, CLUBS away on the shoulder, and runs side to side for a DROPKICK to the arm! The fans fire up and Swerve dropkicks the legs out! Swerve drops a KNEE on the arm, then runs to KNEE Shane down! Cover, TWO! Shane is tougher than that but Swerve stays focused. Nana says it’s over for STP now! Swerve KICKS the bad arm, and the fans cheer for “DEFY! DEFY!” Swerve runs up, Shane shoves him to the corner but Swerve comes back, only for Shane to HEADBUTT!

Shane URENAGES Swerve down, but that was the bad arm! Shane runs, SPLASHES DOWN into an armbar! Swerve has Shane caught and he even HAMMERS Shane’s head! Shane endures, fights back up, and he powers out! Shane KNEES Swerve down! Cover, TWO! Swerve survives and Shane grows frustrated. Swerve goes to a corner, Shane says time to bet it all! Shane goes up the corner, the fans fire up, and Swerve ROCKS Shane first! Swerve throws more hands, then he goes up to get Shane for a SUPER DUPER BACK SUPLEX! One day, my reign will be over.” The fans don’t like the sound of that, but Toni says there is no one more deserving than Mone. “The day I met you, I knew what you were destined to be. You were the first woman to wrestle at Madison Square Garden, the Tokyo Dome, Wembley Stadium AND Arena Mexico… But I was the last woman to wrestle at the Wodonga Sports & Leisure Center before it got closed down for a cockroach infestation.”

The fans cheer that last part, and Toni says she sincerely believes that Mone is the greatest of all time. Toni is not, nor was she ever meant to be. For she is a “manic, neurotic, erotic, sexually questionable, consistently sweating, bottom heavy, transatlantic whore!” The fans still cheer for her, and Toni says when this belt is upon her bosom, she makes magic happen! So unless Mone plans on pulling a rabbit out of her ass, Toni highly doubts Mone can say the same! At All In, in front of the entire world, and all those little girls watching at home, Mone will look Toni in the eye, and she will realize that Toni only has to beat Mone while Mone will have to KILL Toni!

Mason tumbles out but Mansoor runs in, only for Hologram to kick and whip. Mansoor reverses, Hologram handsprings but Mansoor dodges! Mansoor runs up, Hologram dodges and tilt-o-whirl RANAS! Mason drags Hologram up, puts him back in the ring, and Johnny TV taunts Briscoe & Willow. Mason drags Hologram back out so he can CLUB him down. The ref reprimands, Mason drags Hologram back up and SMACKS him off the apron. And then throws him into railing! Taya soaks up the heat while she vogues, and Mason refreshes the ring count. That just lets Mr. & Mrs. TV stomp away on Hologram! They stop as Mason goes back out to fetch Hologram. Willow & Briscoe back the rest of them off while Hologram is in the ring. Mansoor tags in, he whips for Mason to scoop, and they CAT WALK LEG DROP! Cover, TWO!

Mansoor keeps Hologram down with a Camel Clutch, but Hologram endures. Mansoor stomps away on Hologram into the corner, but stops as the ref counts. Backstage interview with Kris Statlander.

Lexy Nair is with The Galaxy’s Greatest and brings up the big win for Willow’s team. Kris asks if they’re really doing this. Every single week! Yes, everyone loves Willow. But when is Kris going to get a chance? In the All-Star 8 Woman Tag? Uh, uh, didn’t think so. So if you think she’s going to stand here and talk about how important everyone else is, you’re dead wrong! But then Yuta walks over and says he hates to say he told her so… Kris tells Yuta to shut his grimy little mouth! She knows who he is and what this is! If he thinks she wants any part of this, get out of her face! Yuta tries to talk her down but Kris SHOVES him down! And then Moxley steps in.

Moxley picks up Kris’ phone for her, but tells her to never, ever, let anyone else tell you who you are or what you’re worth. Moxley hands Kris her phone, and Kris is rather shaken. But did Moxley just encourage someone? And will Kris Statlander follow his advice to go out and take what she deserves?

Tony Schiavone is in the ring.

Schiavone asks Seattle to please welcome… Don Callis. The fans boo as The Jackal walks out here, accompanied by Josh Alexander & Lance Archer. They join Schiavone in the ring and Callis stops Schiavone already. He has a very special announcement! He would like to introduce to us the greatest wrestler in the history of Japan! Better than Rikidozan, than Inoki, than Muta, than Tanahashi… the NEWEST member of the Don Callis Family, the Rainmaker, Kazuchika Okada! The fans boo even more as the Continental Champion makes his way out to the ring. Okada shakes hands with Callis, and Callis interrupts Schiavone again.

Callis says that he and Okada would like to show everyone some very special footage. Roll the tape! The tape is of course the last time we saw these two, and the horrible trap they had set for Kenny Omega. Schiavone says that was one of the most despicable things in wrestling history! Callis says you can almost smell the diverticulitis coming outta Omega’s mouth! Schiavone says how dare Callis laugh at someone coughing up blood! What is wrong with him!? Callis says he is sick and tired of Schiavone coming out here and talking bad about him and Okada and the Callis Family, “like the sleezy feline that you are!”

But Callis and his family are here to talk about Kenny Omega! “Kenny, how does it feel to know that your greatest opponent, Okada, and the man who knows all your weaknesses, Don Callis, have teamed up against you?! I know, Kenny, you’re laying in a hospital bed right now…” The fans tell Callis to STFU but Callis just talks louder. Omega surely has tubes coming outta his guts, with a colostomy bag hanging out the side! Omega won’t even make it to All In! But IF Omega does make it there, and wrestles the greatest wrestler in the history of Japan, then Omega needs to know that he will truly be alone.

Omega destroyed his friendship with the Young Bucks, with Callis, and is alone in this world with not even one friend left! But then out steps Mark Briscoe! The fans cheer as The Chicken tells Callis, “My Lord, would you PLEASE shut the hell up!? You sound stupid, you weird lookin’ bastard! You say Kenny has no friends? Well sheesh, I’ll be damned, I’m his friend! But y’know what? I’m not his only friend.” Because KOTA IBUSHI IS HERE! The fans go nuts seeing the Golden Star return to AEW! Archer rushes them, but Briscoe attacks first! That lets Ibushi strut right up to the Walking Weapon in the ring!

The fans fire up as Ibushi dodges Alexander, then fires off a strike fest! Alexander ducks a kick, Ibushi ducks the rolling elbow, and Ibushi ROUNDHOUSES Alexander down! The fans fire up while Callis freaks out, but now Ibushi and Okada are alone in the ring. The fans go nuts already as Golden Star and Rainmaker stare down. Okada fires a forearm, but Ibushi fires back! Okada UPPERCUTS, but Ibushi fires off a strike fest! SOBAT and ROUNDHOUSE! Okada falls and he scurries out of the ring! Callis is there, and he gets his new moneymaker outta there! Will Ibushi make sure Omega gets a fair shake in Texas?

Collision returns to a brawl!

Apparently, the Workhorsemen got into it with Big Bill & Bryan Keith in the back, and now it has spilled out to ringside! JD Drake & Anthony Henry have the advantage as they use chairs on the Redwood & Bad Apple! Henry sits Keith in a corner of the railing, then runs around the way! But Bill BOOTS him down! The fans are fired up, but then Drake CLUBS Bill! But Keith SMACKS Drake with a chair! Keith shouts for Bill to get ’em! Bill stands Drake up, SMACKS him off steel steps, then Keith SMACKS Drake off steps! And repeat! Keith stomps Henry, SMACKS Drake off steps, and then Bill SMACKS Drake off steps!

Henry shields Drake but that just gets him a CLUBBING forearm! Keith sets chairs up together, Bill SMACKS Henry off steps, and Keith has Bill haul Henry up. Bill gives Henry a SKYSCRAPER CHOKE SLAM onto the chairs!! Henry falls in a heap with all that steel, and Bill wants a mic! Wait, now Christian Cage wants to be out here? The fans are fired up either way as Captain Charisma leads The Patriarchy out here. “Seattle… Sit down and shut your mouths while I conduct my business!” The fans boo instead. Christian says they know it and he knows it. The only good things to ever come outta Washington are Mother Shayna and Nick Wayne! So again, show some damn respect!

The fans boo more, and Christian tells Bill & Keith that Christian likes a good backstage brawl as much as the next guy. But when it spills out to ringside and takes away from his air time, then he has a problem. Especially when he was coming out here to make a huge announcement. But hey, maybe they should stand there and listen with the rest of these “sweat hogs,” because this is a pretty damn good announcement. Now, it is no secret that these past couple months, his son, Nick Wayne, has been wrestling at a godlike pace! The fans cheer for Nick, but Christian tells them to shut their mouths while he’s talking!

But believe him when he tells you, that has everything to do with Christian’s guidance. Yet, there are still those who have the audacity to mistake friction for building toughness. But the proof speaks for itself! Nick stands here as the youngest champion this company has ever seen! So why stop there? Why not keep going? Why not make more history? Time for Christian’s son to walk beside him instead of behind him! Time he and Nick embark on a journey that takes them to the top! That sees them become the first-ever father-and-son AEW World Tag Team Champions! The fans are torn on that, but Nick smiles as Christian pats him on the shoulder.

Bill says, “Sorry, did you say that that is your son? Maybe your adopted son. Because if all the things that I’ve heard about Mama Wayne are true… That kid’s real father could be literally anybody. It could be that guy right there! Or what about that guy right there? Oh, oh, wait a second, dead ringer! Dead ringer! Oh my God, that could be your father right there! There he is!” The fans cheer but Bill says if they don’t like what he is saying, then how about Christian come down to the ring to do this right here. Christian says first of all, there is nothing of the sort happening here in Seattle. The fans boo and he asks if they wanna see it.

Well, here’s a question, Big Bill. Is that you talking or is that the bottle talking? Did he fall off the wagon this weekend? Go on a bit of a bender? Maybe he fried too many braincells because he clearly doesn’t know who he’s talking to. Bill doesn’t call the shots, Christian does! He is the Patriarch and this is his Patriarchy! He IS the Face of TNT now and forever! The fans boo but The Patriarchy steps away. Will Bill & Keith take them down all the same?

Anthony Bowens was in a bad mood but Billy Gunn wanted to talk things out. Lexy Nair caught up with them first and Billy has “Brittney Spears” hold on. In Lexy’s defense, that outfit really is classic Brittney. But anyway, Daddy Ass tells Bowens it will be a struggle. Bowens says Billy is supposed to be helping him get better. Does he want Bowens to end up like Max Caster? Billy says he got hit in the face by Lance Archer! Well, that’s not on Bowens. They need to get their act together, because Bowens is the Pride of Pro-Wrestling, he needs to climb the ladder in AEW, and he needs to win. Billy says he knows that. What can Daddy Ass do to help Bowens finally hit some homeruns?

The bell rings and Speedball starts against Kaun. The fans rally, Kaun rushes up but Bailey dodges. Bailey headlocks, Kaun powers up and out and he RUNS Bailey over! Bailey kips up, then dodges Kaun and hurdles over. Bailey drops down, DROPKICKS Kaun, but Liona tags in and CLOBBERS Bailey! Ricochet vents about losing out on the 4 million Pesos, he blames Lio Rush, and he crosses off CRU as candidates for his crew. Liona TOSSES Bailey to a corner, fires fast hands, but the ref counts. Liona steps on Bailey, steps off, and then drags Bailey up. Tag to Kaun and the Gates double whip. They DOUBLE HIP TOSS, but Bailey lands through!

Bailey dodges lariats and hot tags Knight! The fans fire up as Knight springboards to FLYING ARM-DRAG Kaun! Liona runs up, Knight dodges, but Liona blocks the arm-drag! Liona YANKS Knight up but Knight DROPKICKS Liona out! The fans fire up with Knight, and he scoops Kaun to SLAM! But Liona grabs Knight by his hair! Knight PELES Liona, then says “TOO FLY!” UFO SPLASH but onto knees! Kaun turns things around, Ricochet says that’s smart. Kaun whips Knight into railing, into the apron, and back into railing! Kaun then brings KNight all the way around to send into the LED barriers!

The fans boo but Ricochet applauds. Bailey aims at Kaun and PLANCHAS, but Liona BLASTS Bailey outta the air! Ricochet likes that even more! He applauds, Liona pats Ricochet on the shoulder, and the Gates go back to the ring while Collision goes picture in picture.

The Gates soak up heat, then Kaun puts Knight in the ring. Liona is there to CLOBBER Knight and cover, TWO! Liona drags Knight into a shoulder claw! Knight endures as Liona leans on him, then he fights up. Knight JAWBREAKERS free, then runs, only for Liona to LARIAT him back down! Liona drags Knight up, puts him in the corner and tags Kaun. The Gates double whip, then double hip toss into the DOUBLE SLAM! Kaun covers, TWO! Knight stays in this but Kaun stomps Knight around. Kaun then drags Knight up to put in a corner for more stomps. Kaun fires fast hands, then more stomps, but stops as the ref counts.

Kaun argues with the ref and that lets Liona get a cheap shot in! Kaun drags Knight up while Bailey protests, and Collision goes to break.

Collision returns and Kaun has Knight up top. Knight fires hands in return but so does Kaun. Knight ROCKS Kaun, goes up, and he FLYING LARIATS! Down goes Kaun but both men are down, and the fans fire up! Kaun and Knight crawl, hot tag to Bailey! Bailey goes up top and he MISSILE DROPKICKS! Kaun tumbles, the fans cheer, and Bailey SOBATS, AX KICKS, and BUZZSAWS! Kaun sputters, Bailey runs, SHOOTING STAR misses as Kaun moves! Or will the Fallen Goddess, the Minion Overlord, the American Joshi, the ROH Gatekeeper, the FOREVER ROH Women’s World Champion (all Athena’s nicknames) lead her team to victory?

The teams stare down, and then Athena throws the first punch! She brawls with Rosa, Thekla attacks Anna and Megan has Tay, leaving Aminata to stare down with Ford. The bell rings, Aminata and Ford start pushing, and then they start throwing forearms! Ford gets the edge, whips, but Aminata reverses. Ford wheelbarrows, victory rolls, but Aminata rolls through. Rosa whips, Athena reverses to KICK, KICK, and ENZIGIRI! Rosa wobbles, the fans fire up, and Athena whips. Rosa DROPKICKS in return! The fans fire up again and Rosa runs corner to corner! UPPERCUT to the back! Then a NECKBREAKER!

Rosa fires up, runs at the ropes, DROPKICK! Rosa drags Athena to the cover, Ford breaks it! Rosa runs up on Ford, Ford goes Matrix and hits the STUNNER! But then Tay kicks Ford and pump handles for a GOTCH PILEDRIVER! Megan runs in, and she LARIATS Tay! Anna runs in, Megan fireman’s carries, but Anna slips free! D D T! Thekla is up, she goes Spider Walk and that takes Anna aback. Thekla then springs up to SPEAR! But Aminata has Thekla for the TWIST ‘N’ SHOUT! Athena is in and she blocks a kick to slip under and gut wrench! TOMBSTONE!! Athena seethes, but Rosa fireman’s carries! Spin and DEATH VALLEY DRIVER!! But BILLIE STARKZ distracts!

The fans boo but RED VELVET slides Athena the title belt! She CLOBBERS Rosa with it!! High stack, cover, Team Athena wins!

The Chef says, “You’re welcome.” The ROH Women’s World Television Champion is going to team with the ROH Women’s World Champion for ROH Global Wars: Mexico, was this just an appetizer for how that’s going to go? Will this win help Thekla, Megan & Ford also find their way to some golden opportunities?

My Thoughts:

A great Collision here, especially as a follow-up to Grand Slam: Mexico while also helping build Global Wars: Mexico. The All-Star 8 Woman was a great main event, but it sure got the short end of the stick when it came to time. I’m not sure if something went long, but it also feels like AEW relies too much on TNT giving them overrun. Red Velvet helping Athena win was a nice touch, given their tag match against Rosa and Persephone. That match happened in reality already but they gotta keep the kayfabe alive. Though, that’s going to be a busy Thursday with Collision being pushed off Saturday, again.

Great promos to hype up the All-Star 8 Man, and that was a great match, too. The Heels winning makes sense there, too, as Kyle needs momentum before he challenges Cole again, and it adds more heat onto FTR. The Outrunners going after FTR was a nice touch, because A) they’re amigos with Bandido and B) they were friends with FTR like Garcia, so now it is The Outrunners’ turn to settle things with Dax & Cash. Bill & Keith have a good brawl with the Workhorsemen, but I’m a little surprised that’s all we got from them before bringing out The Patriarchy. I almost thought Christian Cage was going to name Kip as his tag partner, but I feel like he wants it to be Nick so he can keep Nick close, and possibly leave him hanging at some point.

Great opening match from Moxley with Fox, but of course Moxley wins and then sends a message to Hangman. And it is definitely a case of “Mox Fears Hangman” for him to talk all tough when he knows Hangman isn’t in Seattle yet. Great match from Swerve VS Shane, especially with all the shenanigans going on ringside. Great win for Swerve, and I guess technically Nana, too. Very good promo from Bowens and Billy to show there is some tension between them now. It is mostly Bowens’ frustrations making him lash out, but I wonder if Bowens starts to distance himself from Billy to truly be a solo act now.

Great to see Ibushi back in AEW, and great tease of Ibushi VS Okada. I suspect Briscoe and Ibushi will team up against Alexander & Archer, and that can help lead to Omega’s return from the “devastating” attack to have some final math on the Omega VS Okada dream rematch. And if Ibushi sticks around, that brings in some intrigue on whether or not we get Golden Lovers back together. I could see either story happening, where Golden Lovers go for a Two Man Power Trip kind of run, getting gold together. But I could also see them being friendly rivals, competing over the same title(s), especially with the “Unified Championship” bringing Continental and International Championship “divisions” together.

Good promo from Mone and a great promo from Toni to hype up their match, but we’ve still got time before there’s any real go-home math. But I said it before so I’ll say it again: It’s called “All In,” so whatever belts Mone has by All In, Mone should go ALL IN with her belts against Toni. Now obviously Mone has no reason to, and Heels never want to “put up or shut up,” but if Toni goads her into putting her money where her mouth is, maybe Mone does it out of anger. And honestly, if Toni wins at All In, wouldn’t she then be owed a match for any number of Mone’s titles anyway? AEW makes good use of the rule that pinning a champ earns a title match, so just cut to the chase.

Very fun Mixed Six with Hologram joining Briscoe & Willow as perhaps the newest member of Conglomeration. But at some point, Hologram needs to win a title or his streak means nothing. Good promo from Kris after that match and how she shoved Yuta. Kris being afraid of Moxley at first was a nice touch, since we’ve seen Mox makes no qualms about hitting a woman wrestler (namely Willow) with a cutter. But then Moxley actually adds to Yuta’s recruitment attempts by being nice to Kris. It makes me wonder if Kris becomes a Death Rider, and maybe the Women’s Division becomes the group’s next phase. Honestly, if not for Mone collecting belts and what not, Marina should’ve gotten a title shot herself by now.

And a great tag match of JetSpeed VS Gates of Agony. I guess with nothing else for them, the Gates defaulted back to being Heels. Ricochet was good on commentary, and as I figured, his story of finding faction members is failing because his standards are too high and he as a personality is too sensitive to put grudges aside. CRU was the right choice to me but then he said no thanks cuz of that Pesos match. As for JetSpeed, they will certainly get that tag title match with Hurt Syndicate, but I feel like MJF will be why the Hurt Syndicate retains.

As Dax Harwood & Stokely Hathaway make their way out, #BigStoke has a mic and he has them cut the music. Stokely has some good news and some bad news. Bad news: Due to circumstances beyond his control, Cash Wheeler cannot be here tonight. That’s the bad news. The good news is, one half of FTR is here tonight in the great Dax the Ax! And hey, Stokely has been working on his Espanol all day. “Grassy ass, thank you!” Still messed it up… But with that, the rest of Team Rudo make their way out, starting with Volador, followed by the Don Callis y Hechicero.

On the other side, ROH World Champion Bandido leads the way for his team, followed by Templario and the Atlantis father and son. Then Brody King and Daniel Garcia follow, saving TNT Champion, Adam Cole, for last! The fans join in for the “BOOM!” and “ADAM COLE, BAYBAY!” These massive teams sort out, and Bandido steps up against the Alpha, Konosuke Takeshita. The fans fire up behind the Most Wanted while he and Konosuke circle. They approach, Konosuke trips Bandido and things speed up. Bandido stays low, then hurdles, but Konosuke leaps over. Bandido dodges Konosuke, then he aims his finger gun!

The fans cheer as Konosuke says he has his eyes on Bandido, too. Konosuke kicks low, whips, but Bandido reverses. Bandido scoops right to a torture rack! X KNEE blocked, and Konosuke spins Bandido to back suplex. Bandido lands out, Konosuke mule kicks. Konosuke runs, but into a RANA! The fans fire up while Konosuke bails out. Bandido builds speed, but Hechicero steps in per lucha rules! The fans cheer these two, even duel, and then Hechi takes a swing. Bandido dodges, fires hands, but Hechi dodges and even goes Matrix! The fans fire up, Hechi scoops, Bandido slips free, but Hechi victory rolls to then INVERTED MONKEY FLIP!

Hechi catches Bandido into the REAR NAKED CHOKE, but Bandido rolls back! They both stand, Hechi wrenches Bandido and whips. Hechi runs up to STEP-UP KNEE! Bandido flops down and Hechi shows off the drop steps. Bandido bails out so Garcia runs in! Garcia whips, Hechi sunset flips, but Garcia rolls through, and does his dance! The fans are torn, but Hechi trips Garcia to have the legs! Hechi rolls and stacks Garcia, only for Garcia to activate the core! Garcia sits up, sunset flips, but Hechi blocks to spin Garcia! Garcia fires forearms on Dax first, then backs him to a corner. The fans cheer as Garcia goes up, and he rains down fists! The fans count but Dax stops Garcia at cinco! Dax carries Garcia off the corner but Garcia fights free to DECK Dax! Garcia whips but Dax reverses and wrenches to short arm LARIAT! Garcia bails out so Atlantis Junior jumps in. Arena Mexico actually boos Junior, he’s apparently not as cool as Senior. Junior shrugs that off to run up on Dax. Dax puts Junior on the apron and Junior GAMANGIRIS! Atlantis Junior tags Templario and the fans cheer again. Junior & Temp roll Dax into a wheelbarrow and Temp goes up to MISSILE DROPKICK Dax into the WHEELBARROW GERMAN! Temp covers, TWO! Templario hears the fans cheer him on, but Volador climbs up and CROSSBODIES! He takes down Temp & Junior, then ducks ‘n ‘dodges. Dax gives him a boost to DOUBLE DROPKICK! Archer whips, Josh Alexander gets a cheap shot in, but Brody swings on him for it! Alexander HOTSHOTS him in return! Archer choke grips, but Cole CHOPE BLOCKS! Cole & Brody RAM Archer into the Walking Weapon! SUPERKICK! SUPERKICK! Brody goes out to get Alexander while Cole SHINING WIZARDS Archer down! Brody fireman’s carries Alexander, APRON DEATH VALLEY!! The ref has the team sort out and Bandido stays in. He goes out to fetch Dax, but Dax and Volador mug him! The rest of Bandido’s team goes to help him and it is a huge brawl! All 14 men are throwing hands, and Brody even DUMPS Kyle into the crowd! Archer puts Garcia in the ring so they’re legal now. Archer climbs up a corner to rain down fists! Garcia slips out before tres, trips Archer up, and he climbs up! Garcia rains down fists, and this time, Garcia makes it to siete before Archer picks him up and DROPS him on the top buckle! Archer mocks Garcia’s dance, then he drags Garcia up to whip him hard into the Rudo corner.

Archer taunts Bandido, goes back to Garcia, and stands on him at the ropes! The ref reprimands, Archer steps off, and Garcia gets up to fire forearms! Archer ROCKS him in return! Hechicero tags in and he fires hands on Garcia! The ref counts, Hechi stops at quatro and powers up his alchemy. Then he drags Garcia up, only for Garcia to fire hands! Garcia  runs, but Hechi scoops him for a BEARHUG! And a SPINNING BACKBREAKER! Cover, TWO! Hechi is upset but dos es dos. Hechi drags Garcia up, wrenches his arm, and tags in Alexander. Mexico cheers on Hechicero, but alexander RAMS Garcia and lifts, only for Garcia to fight it! TWIST ‘N’ SHOUT! Both men are down and the fans rally up! Garcia crawls, reaches out, but Alexander grabs at his foot! Garcia still fights to hot tag Bandido! The fans fire up as Bandido fires forearms with Alexander back and forth! Bandido gets the edge and the fans cheer, only for Alexander to knee low! Alexander runs, but Bandido gorilla presses him! And then SLAMS him down! The fans fire up but Alexander hurries to get Bandido up. Konosuke climbs and Alexander Electric Chair Lifts Bandido! They have Konosuke and Alexander on the very top, for STEREO MOONSAULT POWERSLAMS!! Stereo covers, TWO!! Both Alexander and Konosuke survive but Temp & Bandido high-five. Junior goes up, up, but Alexander SHOVES him down! Alexander then goes out after Junior while Kyle rises. Atlantis Junior fights to BACKDROP Alexander into the ring! Junior goes up the ramp, runs back down, and he CROSSBODIES Kyle & Alexander! The teams rush in, it is a brawl, but then Bandido’s team puts Kyle, Alexander, Konosuke and Volador in corners! Garcia and Alexander brawl their way up the ramp and to the back, and the same for Cole with Kyle! Bandido ASAI MOONSAULTS Volador! Archer storms into the ring to meet Brody! The fans bark for these behemoths and the forearms fly! Archer throat chops, runs, but into a forearm! Brody roars and runs, but into a forearm! Archer roars and runs, but then fakes Brody out! But Brody deflects the boot to run and CLOBBER Archer! Archer tumbles out, but here comes Hechi! FLYING ELBOW! Hechi stomps away on Brody and the fans fire up! Hechi tumbles out while fans bark, and Brody builds speed to DIVE!! The supersized tope takes out Hechi AND Konosuke! But that leaves Dax with Atlantis Senior. Kazuchika Okada w/ Don Callis VS Mark Briscoe!

The Rainmaker has a Winner Takes All match with long-time rival, Kenny Omega, but he crossed a line! Not only has Okada joined Don Callis just to stick it to The Cleaner, but Okada hospitalized Omega with a brutal attack to the stomach! Will the Sussex County Chicken get a semblance of revenge on Omega’s behalf? Or will Okada make it rain in Arena Mexico?

The fans are fired up for Okada while he and Briscoe get face to face. The ref has them back away to their corners, then the bell rings. Okada and Briscoe step up again, then Briscoe shoves Okada! Okada bails out and the fans boo. Briscoe waits on Okada while commentary tells Callis he and Okada committed the most despicable thing in all of wrestling. Callis of course says it was the most shrewd tactical move in the history of wrestling. Okada takes his time returning into the ring, and then he circles with Briscoe. They tie up and are in a deadlock. They go around, Okada puts Briscoe on the ropes, but he lets off slowly.

Okada fakes the chop, and pats Briscoe on the shoulders. The fans are torn, but Briscoe kicks Okada and TOSSES him! The fans cheer as Briscoe builds speed, but Okada steps aside so Briscoe can’t dive. Briscoe gives chase, though, and they go around the outside. They slide back in, and Okada CLOBBERS Briscoe! The fans are torn as Okada CLUBS away. Okada fires forearms, storms up to stomp Briscoe in the corner, and then ELBOWS him! The fans are torn but Okada brings Briscoe around for a BIG back suplex. But Briscoe lands out, and hits the Crane Stance! Okada takes a swing, Briscoe ducks, and Briscoe CHOPS!

Briscoe whips, Okada reverses, but Briscoe slides under the boot! Crane Stance! Crane feint, then the CRANE KICK! The fans fire up as Briscoe stands up in his Redneck Kung-Fu stance. Briscoe bumps Okada off buckles, stomps a mudhole, then stops as the ref counts 4. Briscoe then grinds his forearm into Okada’s face! The ref counts again, Briscoe stops at 4, and he whips corner to corner. Okada reverses but Briscoe goes up and out.

Okada runs up but Briscoe blocks a shot to ROCK Okada! Briscoe then RAMS into Okada, throws him out of the ring, and then DIVES! Direct hit and the fans fire up! Briscoe high-fives the front row before he puts Okada in the ring. Okada goes to a corner, Briscoe runs up and LARIATS! Briscoe goes corner to corner again, but Okada BOOTS him! Briscoe just fires up! Okada dodges this time, and he hoists Briscoe up to DROPKICK him down to the floor! The fans fire up while Grand Slam goes picture in picture.

Okada waits while Briscoe is down and out. A ring count starts, Briscoe stirs, but then Okada goes out to fetch Briscoe. Briscoe fires body shots but Okada kicks low! DDT to the floor! The Scumbag only ever does or uses something when it benefits him, and being extremely patriotic for the United States only seems to happen when he wants to stick it to someone not from the United States. MJF waves Ol’ Glory while he, MVP, Bobby Lashley & Shelton Benjamin walk down to the ring, but will he have to wave the white flag of surrender here tonight? Or will MJF somehow screw over the arguably greatest and most beloved man in CMLL?

In fact, to counter MJF being an American idiot, Mistico takes off his Sin Cara mask to reveal the colors of Mexico’s flag and therefore the colors of his people. He also has Me Muero as his theme, and the fans all know that one! The bell rings and the two circle while the fans rally behind Mistico. The two tie up, MJF SHOVES Mistico away, and then MJF soaks up the heat. MJF mockingly claps and then says up theirs! MVP tells MJF to worry about Mistico, not the fans. The fans tell MJF off and MJF tells them to shut up. MJF and Mistico tie up, Mistico SHOVES MJF, and Mistico eggs MJF on! MJF gets up, he and Mistico circle again, and they tie up. MJF brings Mistico around to headlock but Mistico fires body shots. Mistico powers up and out, then CHOPS! Mistico winds up and the fans rally, and he knuckle locks before he CHOPS again! Mistico goes up, up, and he tightrope walks to FLYING ARM-DRAG! The fans fire up as Mistico then hits a CODE RED! Cover, TWO! MJF bails out but Mistico builds speed! Mistico handsprings to fake MJF out! MJF thinks he’s smooth for running away, but then MVP tells him to focus on Mistico, not on the fans. MJF says he knows, and he eggs on Mistico. Mistico runs out there to chase MJF, but then the Hurt Syndicate stands in the way!

The fans boo, Mistico wags his finger, and he tells them to part. MJF runs up to ROCK Mistico first! The fans boo but MJF high-fives his guys. MJF says, “Easy! Too easy!” MJF puts Mistico in the ring, smirks while the fans call him more names. MJF swivels his hips, then runs up, but Mistico dodges the knee drop! Mistico runs up to RANA! The fans fire up and Mistico has MJF in a corner. MJF wants mercy, but Mistico says nope! Mistico runs up, but MJF YANKS him into buckles! MJF stomps away on Mistico, then goes to the other end to stand on the corner. MJF soaks up heat as he does the Pledge of Allegiance!

The fans boo, and MVP again reprimands MJF, he needs to be about business, not about trolling! MJF goes back to Mistico, drags him up, and he brings Mistico around, but Mistico JAWBREAKERS! Mistico runs, hops on, but MJF stops Code Red to reel Mistico in! POWER BREAKER! Cover, TWO! Mistico survives, MVP says this is still fine, and Grand Slam goes picture in picture. MJF sits Mistico up, and he pulls at the mask! MJF’s lucky this is an AEW based event, CMLL rules say this is tantamount to a disqualification! MJF rips at the eyehole, then clamps on a chinlock. Mistico fights while the fans tell MJF off again. Mistico rises up, fires body shots, then runs to ROCK MJF! Mistico fires forearms but MJF throat chops! MJF TOSSES Mistico out, distracts the ref, and the Hurt Syndicate attacks! BARRIER BACKBREAKER from Shelton! Shelton shoves Mistico back into the ring, MJF covers, TWO! This lets Lashley CHOKE Mistico and throw hands! The Hurt syndicate gets away with more, and MJF covers, TWO!

MVP tells fans to callete, they saw nothing! MJF stalks Mistico, stomps him on the foot, then has him on the ropes. MJF stomps him more, then soaks up heat. Joe gets in the ring and Ospreay puts Moxley in for him. Joe tags Ospreay and they mug Moxley. Ospreay brings Moxley around to ROCK him, then whip. Moxley reverses, Matt trips Ospreay up, and Matt drags Ospreay out. Ospreay sends Matt into Swerve’s BOOT! Nick YANKS Swerve down but Ospreay sends Nick into railing! Ospreay hurries back in, but Moxley hits a CUTTER! Moxley flips off the fans, then stands between Ospreay and his corner. Moxley stomps Ospreay’s hand and puts him in the #DeathBucks corner. Moxley bends Ospreay’s fingers, the ref counts, and Moxley lets go so that Yuta can CHOKE Ospreay!

Yuta gets away with that, and Moxley tags Nick. Nick goes up to AX HANDLE Ospreay! Tag to Matt and the Bucks double whip. They DOUBLE ELBOW, hit their pose, then stomp away on Ospreay. Matt rains down fists, then BITES Ospreay’s forehead! Matt tries to rip that bandage away but it’s on there tight. The ref reprimands but Matt keeps between Ospreay and his team. Matt stands Ospreay up but Ospreay CHOPS Matt! And CHOPS again! Matt RAMS Ospreay to the corner, Yuta tags in, and they mug Ospreay. Yuta rains down fists, then stalks Ospreay. Yuta grabs a leg, hits a spinning toehold, then ties the legs up in a DEATHLOCK!

Yuta bridges back to put on the pressure! Ospreay endures, Yuta flips off the fans, and then Yuta tags Moxley in. Ospreay is stuck and Moxley stomps him right down! The ref reprimands but Yuta lets Ospreay go. Grand Slam returns to single picture and Ospreay fires hands. Moxley fires back, the fans rally for Ospreay, but Moxley scoops to SLAM! Cover, TWO! Moxley stays on Ospreay with another cover, TWO! Moxley has the arm, DOUBLE WRISTLOCK! Ospreay endures as it becomes a KIMURA! Ospreay still fights up and the fans rally! Ospreay’s entire team reaches out, but Moxley pulls Ospreay’s hair! Moxley shoves Ospreay away to then sucker punch Swerve!

Hobbs storms in but the ref keeps him back. Ospreay CHOPS away on Moxley! Moxley shoots around to have a SLEEPER! Ospreay slips out the back to back suplex, but Moxley fights with elbows! Moxley whips, Ospreay handsprings, NEURALIZER KICK! Moxley wobbles but falls, and Ospreay crawls! Hot tags to Yuta and Hobbs! The fans fire up as Hobbs CLOBBERS Yuta, BLASTS The Bucks, and then picks Yuta up to RAM him into a corner! The fans fire up as Hobbs shouts, “MEAT!” The fans fire up and Hobbs fires those point-blank LARIATS! Hobbs goes past DIEZ to hit TRECE! That’s 13!

Hobbs then brings Yuta out to short arm LARIAT! The fans fire up as the straps come down! But The Bucks kick low! The Bucks DOUBLE CHOP, but that just pisses Hobbs off! The Bucks apologize but the fans tell them they messed up. Hobbs blocks a superkick, then the other! The Bucks want mercy, but Hobbs goes to guzels! But Yuta jumps on for a SLEEPER! Joe wants in, the ref has him stop, but this lets Moxley sneak in! Mox kicks Hobbs low! Hobbs lets the Bucks go, Mox & Yuta double whip. Hobbs breaks through that double lariat to DOUBLE LARIAT The Bucks! The fans fire up as Hobbs then DOUBLE LARIATS Yuta & Moxley!

Ospreay & Swerve hurry to DOUBLE PLANCHA The Bucks! Shibata tags in, he whips Yuta to a corner. Shibata sends Hobbs in for a SPLASH! Then Shibata adds his HYDRAULIC DROPKICK! The fans fire up and Shibata HALF HATCH SUPLEXES Yuta! Hobbs scoops Yuta for a POWERSLAM! Shibata covers but Mortos breaks it! Hobbs returns, Mortos dodges him and SPEARS Hobbs down!! Then a HEADBUTT for Shibata! Mortos keeps going, TORNILLO TOPE onto Hobbs!! Mortos gets back in and LARIATS Shibata! The fans fire up but here comes Joe! Joe fires forearms back and forth with Mortos!

The fans rally, Joe fires a flurry, but Mortos kicks low! Mortos whips Joe to the corner, runs in, but Joe URENAGES Mortos down! Nick SHINING WIZARDS! Matt cravats Joe and Nick helps with the SLICED BREAD! BASEMENT SUPERKICK! But Ospreay springboards in! DOUBLE SUPERKICKS for Ospreay! Then they have the wrists, E V P- NO, Ospreay kips up, gets loose, and DOUBLE OSCUTTERS!! Swerve joins in, FOSBURY FLOP onto the Bucks! The fans are thunderous, Nana does his dance, and Ospreay turns around into a BUSAIKU KNEE from Yuta! Shibata gets Yuta in a SLEEPER! Yuta snapmares free and ROCKS Shibata!

“ESTA LUCHA!” as Yuta runs, ducks ‘n’ dodges, and BUSAIKU KNEES Shibata! But Shibata’s right up to PENALTY KICK!! Both men are down and the fans continue to rally! Hot tags to Swerve and Moxley! These two fire forearms and the fans fire up again! The most dangerous men in AEW go back and forth, but Swerve gets the edge! Moxley ROLLING ELBOWS! Swerve mule kicks and HAYMAKERS! Ospreay adds a HOOK KICK! Swerve somersaults for the FLATLINER! Ospreay helps Swerve turn Moxley in the gator roll, CHASING THE DRAGON!! The fans are thunderous and Ospreay sets Moxley up!

Swerve goes up, but Matt stops Swerve! Swerve kicks Matt away and Ospreay BOOTS Matt down! But Marina distracts the ref! Nick SHOVES Swerve and Swerve HOTSHOTS off the ropes! Moxley rolls swerve up to cover, DEATH BUCKS WIN!!

Winners: The Death Riders, The Young Bucks & The Beast Mortos, by pinfall

The Problem is always a factor, but this isn’t done as Yuta & The Bucks beat up on Joe! Then the Bucks SUPERKICK Swerve! Moxley has a SLEEPER on Swerve, then feeds him to the SUPERKICKS! Moxley puts the SLEEPER back on, but HERE COMES HANGMAN!! The Cowboy told us about the ringside ban, but also mentioned that once the match was over, it was fair game! Hangman storms out here, unintentionally saving Swerve, and he glares at Moxley. The fans fire up as Hangman throws off his jacket and rushes the ring! Moxley stands his ground, the two get face to face, and now go fist for fist! Yuta gets in but Hangman DECKS him!

Moxley kicks low! Moxley whips but Hangman goes to the apron! Moxley waits, Hangman slingshots, but then Moxley dodges! BUCKSHOT on Matt! Well, it did hit a Buck, and Nick asks wtf! Hangman says he told them, they stay out of his business or else! But now Moxley has the briefcase! Only for Hangman to spot him first. Moxley is frozen in place, and now The Opps & Ospreay get in the ring! The Maniac decides discretion is the better part of valor, and The Death Riders are in retreat. But there’s no running from what’s coming! 24 days remain before All In, will they be the last 24 days Moxley has as champion?

My Thoughts:

Awesome night for AEW’s first show in Mexico, even with things going about how I expected. For one, Mone of course won the title, because why else would they even do this match if not to give her one more belt? Though, what’s wild is that she picked up another belt without much hype or press from AEW. I guess European Wrestling Alliance hopes this gets them some attention. But good stuff with Toni Storm’s noir video and the sneak attack. And I would hope Toni retains the title at All In to keep Mone from going Ultimo Dragon just yet.

Cash Wheeler and Claudio Castagnoli both had travel issues, so I understand subbing people in. But did a 12 Man Tag really need to become a 14 Man Tag for it? And seeing as how I don’t cover CMLL’s own programming, I have NO idea why Atlantis Senior & Junior are getting booed. Is it a “Cena Wins LOL” situation where Junior is winning too much? That’s the only thing I can really think of offhand. But naturally, the Faces of that match won, as The Don Callis Family was rolling last week and needed humbling. I would think we still get Adam Cole VS Kyle Fletcher 2 now, and maybe Kyle wins the title so that the Don Callis Family has something.

Although, Callis seems to be bringing Okada into the fold for whatever reason, so he could end up bringing the “Unified” Continental & International Championship to the family. Okada VS Briscoe was great, and naturally Okada got the win. Mistico VS MJF was great stuff, up until MJF gave up and gave Mistico the win there. I know MJF loves getting heat, but him being the first man to snatch Mistico’s mask away like that is some HUGE heat. Also, I think I said it way back during some feud Penta had in AEW, but are masks really sacred if they’re willing to let them get ripped, stretched, and even yanked away? Or has that been lucha libre kayfabe all along? Either way, great stuff with JetSpeed and the other luchadores showing up, lots of matches set up with that.

Great Fatal 4 Way, and great win for Hologram to stay undefeated, but I will again criticize needing to do money prizes for these things. They should’ve set Hologram up for a title match twice over by now but TK is apparently making Hologram his top undefeated guy. Like if Goldberg was more than just big and strong and could actually do stuff… Also, while they obviously didn’t work together the entire time, I just feel like Ricochet having Lio Rush & Action Andretti become his crew (what with them being CRU and all) is the right move. Or perhaps this story of finding a faction is going to be an ongoing gag that no one likes Ricochet and would never follow him.

Then a great 10 Man Tag main event, though a little redundant considering Anarchy in the Arena was only a few weeks ago. Still good stuff for everybody, especially Mortos since he got to sub in for Claudio. Of course Marina gets involved so that the Heels win, but great stuff with Hangman going after Moxley. Hangman did a great job in his promo speaking Espanol to show respect to the fans. Naturally, Moxley gets away, that’s his whole thing. I really hope Ospreay, Swerve and The Opps keep the Death Riders and Bucks at bay so Hangman doesn’t get screwed over at All In. It’d be garbage if, after all this time and energy, it doesn’t pay off with Hangman as the triumphant hero.
