Becky Lynch is here!

And the fans are all fired up as the NEW NXT Women’s Champion heads to the ring! The Grand Slam Man defended this title just last night in Salt Lake City against Natalya, but she’s right back in Orlando to say, “The Man has come around to N BEX T~!” Fans fire up and chant for “N BEX T! N BEX T!” Becky says the NXT Women’s Championship World Tour continues! She brings the fight every damn night! It doesn’t matter the name, the game is the same. Gigi Dolin, Elektra Lopez, Thea Hail, Roxanne Perez, Becky assures you she’ll be here awhile and will go the extra mile. SO how ’bout a scrap, Ivy Nile?

Becky gets Natty, she’ll beat that baddie. Give her Jacy Jayne, you know I’ll retain. You want this, she’s the mountain to climb. So welcome all, to the Big Time! Fans cheer that! Becky says she loves it here so much, it is so good to be back. It feels so good to represent them! They are what makes this happen. But speaking of time… Time, time, time, TIFFY TIME is over! Fans chant “BECKY TIME!” But Becky says credit where credit is due. Last week, Tiff hung with The Man, pushed her to her limits, and for that, Tiff will get her rematch whenever she wants it, she has earned it. She may be an idiot and an arse, but she is- here! Tiffy heads to the ring!

Tiff says excuse her, but she’s heard enough. Fans boo as Tiff appreciates the flowers. But did Becky really think the rematch was going to be optional? Are you kidding? She didn’t earn a rematch, she DESERVES a rematch. She knows Becky is a WrestleMania main eventer, The Man, the number one, but she is TIFFANY STRATTON! She is the future of the WWE, and she is the future TWO-TIME NXT Women’s Champion! Fans keep booing but Tiff says if Becky’s a fighting champion, then Big Time VS Tiffy Time, Round 2, for the title, TONIGHT!! Fans like the sound of that! And Becky is even smiling!

Tiff knew they’d love it. That’s why it’s NOT happening! Tiff says these losers actually cheered her every week until Becky showed up. Tiff wants her rematch on a bigger stage. She wants her rematch in Bakersfield at No Mercy! Becky says Tiff can have it whenever she wants it, but the result will be the same. And not because Tiff ain’t good enough, but because she’s not hungry enough! You think Becky hasn’t seen this? People like Tiff come in, rocket strapped to her back, and they become entitled! But this NXT, with these fans, have the same feel as the NXT Becky came up in. And it comes down to who wants it more!

And even after ten YEARS here, Becky wants it more! Aw, cute. Becky should be thanking Tiff for this return. If Becky’s name never came outta Tiff’s mouth, Becky would have never returned! And instead, Becky would be driving to the nearest retirement home for the next Hall of Famer for Becky to beat to get more clout! Okay, okay, Tiffany. For one thing, she’s a better fighter than a talker. But instead of going word for word with The  man, just go punch for punch! And then Becky fires off on Tiff! But then KIANA JAMES attacks! Fans boo as the Calculator uses numbers to her advantage!

Kiana drags Becky up, Tiff gets a chair! But Becky still fights them both off! Fans fire up as Becky fires forearms, then gets the chair! Tiff runs for it, then Kiana does, too! The Man is ready for a fight, will she get one tonight?

Tony D’Angelo & Channing Lorenzo talk backstage.

Stacks is impressed by the research The Don has done going into finding contenders. But that means there’s a lot of eyeballs on them. Stacks says that’s just the price of being NXT Tag Team Champions. What’re they gonna do? Tony says they’ll offer everyone a seat at the table, and then do what they do best. What’s that? Eat! Some tortellini, some shrimp scampi, ah c’mon~! Stacks is getting hungry. Well he asked for it. But who are they inviting? The Creeds? They’ve got history but they’re straightforward, so that allows The Family to be straightforward with them. And then Garza & Carrillo. Keep friends closer but enemies closer? Eh. Gotta respect that.

But what about these two big teams right here? Hank ‘n’ Tank or Nima & Price? To be honest, Tony likes both teams, but only one seat at the table. These teams need to impress The Don. Who wants it more? They’ll fight it out to show us who’s really hungry.

Backstage interview with Ilja Dragunov.

McKenzie Mitchell is with The Mad Dragon, and brings up how the fans are still buzzing after that instant classic with him and Wes Lee just last week. Now Ilja heads to No Mercy for a rematch with Carmelo Hayes for the NXT Championship. Ilja says he is still suffering from the pain Wes inflicted upon him. But he will still finish what happened at the Great American Bash. And this time, the Mad Dragon will cover his wings in gold. As for tonight, Dragunov will watch Melo VS Dom.

Becky storms in and Dragunov acknowledges she is in a bad mood. He will let her have the stage. Becky tells Tiff & Kiana that “you two dopes” didn’t have to attack her to get a fight with her. You wanna go 2v1? Fine! Let’s do that in the main event! See you there! The Man wants a handicap match against two top talents? Is that a bit reckless?

Kelly Kincaid is in the Meta Four Lounge.

But before she can ask anyone a question, Lash Legend says “SKRRRT!” AKA put on the brakes. Noam Dar welcomes us to the Matrix! But that’s enough from Agent Smith. They, the chosen ones, are once again ready to watch these dafties compete for the honor, NO! The privilege of losing to Dar at No Mercy. It doesn’t matter if it’s Group A or Group B, or if they take the red pill or the blue pill. The result will remain the same: Dar as champion. But then here comes Pete Dunne! Fans cheer as he shuts the Meta Four up! Will it be the Bruiserweight or the Big Strong Boy that wins the block?

Trick Williams is on the phone.

He says it’s all good, but then Dominik Mysterio walks over. “Look who it is! Tricky Williams!” Trick says hey to Dirty Dom, and look! Dom has a knack for sucking all the positive vibes out of any room, just like that. Dom says he’s glad he ran into Trick. That makes one of them. No, Dom is being for real. As someone who lived in his dad’s shadow, he understands Trick’s situation. Whoa, whoa, whoa. Trick don’t live in no shadow. Look at him! He don’t fit in no shadows. Dom says he’s serious, though. The Judgment Day helped him step out and shine. Now it’s time to see what Trick can do in the spotlight.

Trick tells Dom that they are not from the same place. Trick ain’t built like that. Nothing and no one will drive a wedge between Trick Melo Gang. Believe that. Dom chuckles and says he used to say the same thing about him and Rey. Just think about it. Dom leaves, but will his recruitment case be hurt losing to HIM?

Thea pumps herself up. She’s not a little girl anymore, she’s a grown woman. She may not like change but change is good. Jacy asks Thea if she’s okay. She doesn’t- NO, she needs to! She’s not a kid! Let’s go! Okay, okay, woosah. They step into ASC and Jacy looks through the selection. She tosses what she likes at Thea, sticking toa red and black aesthetic. Time for the fashion show! Thea can’t walk out in this first one. What? She came this far, at least show us what it looks like. Okay, fine. Red skirt and lacey top. Okay, yeah, maybe a bit much. The snake skin boots on the second one is good, but they need MORE leather.

Full leather dress? Yes, this is the vibe Jacy is talking about. Next! Thea returns in a vest top. Bingo! But still next. And then… That’s the one!! Really? Thea does really like this. They’re going with it. They finish up and Jacy can’t wait for the world to see the new and improved Thea Hail.

NXT Global Heritage Invitational Tournament, Group B: Joe Coffey w/ Gallus VS Duke Hudson w/ Andre Chase!

Bate VS Dunne was must-win to determine a finalist, and this is pretty much that but on an even bigger scale! If the Iron King wins, that’s it, this is his kingdom! But if the Chase U MVP pulls out the win, we go to a very interesting three man tie. What will the fate of Group B be?

So now… Triple Threat next week! But Kelly says hold on, breaking news! The Triple Threat isn’t next week, it’s later tonight! Whoa, really? Well then, Frazer’s gotta get ready! Off he goes! Will the Jersey Island Rocket make a big comeback? Or will Joe get even with Duke inside that Triple Threat?

Nathan Frazer: 2-1, 4 points
Duke Hudson: 2-1, 4 points
Akira Tozawa: 0-3, 0 points [ELIMINATED]

Roxanne Perez VS Lola Vice w/ Elektra Lopez!

The Prodigy’s new edge has carried her through against quite a few opponents, but the MMA Mamacita says Roxie has no idea about true aggression. Will Lola teach Roxie how it’s done? Or will Roxie be unstoppable on her rise back to the top?

Lola showed Roxie all about edge, but Roxie showed Lola all about perseverance! Will Roxie use everything she’s learned to find her way back to the top title?

Eddy Thorpe goes to his meditation place.

He sees the damage done to the tree by Dijak. Dijak says Eddie needs to embrace his wild side? You don’t think he knows what Dijak is doing? What he’s really trying to say? Then say it, coward! Eddie’s what? A savage? Is that it? Guess what! Perhaps there is something, deep down inside of Eddie, that is a merciless Indian savage! Dijak has insulted Eddie’s culture and desecrated sacred land! So how about this? Next time they face off, they do it in a way that Eddie can return the favor, by ripping the flesh from Dijak’s body the same way Dijak did the bark on this tree. That’s right, a STRAP MATCH! “You wanted a savage? You’ve got one!”

Becky sits backstage.

She has that anger in her eyes, but then Roxie walks in. Hey, is she okay? That was a hell of a match. And Becky says whatever Roxie’s doing, just keep doing it, because she’s been kicking ass. Roxie thanks Becky for that. In a way, Roxie took a page out of Becky’s book. She was letting people walk all over her, and decided it just wasn’t for her. Becky knows that feeling. And so if they’re on the same page, then Becky doesn’t have to face Tiff & Kiana alone tonight! Roxie wants to tag in! The Man and the Prodigy? Sounds good. But Roxie needs arm on that arm first. Becky ain’t the Man for nothing. But thanks for the offer.

Roxie heads out, will Becky really be alright on her own?

Carmelo Hayes VS Dominik Mysterio!

Both champions will defend these titles at No Mercy, though that’s if Dirty Dom makes it through Dragon Lee next week on Monday Night Raw. But for now, this is about establishing who is the alpha champ of NXT! Will it be Mami’s Latino Heat? Or will it be none other than HIM?

As he makes his entrance, Melo has a shirt just for Dom, with him right in the purple crosshairs. But the moment Melo’s in the ring, Dom goes right after him! Dom fires off in the corner, then he picks up THE NXT Championship and smiles as he holds it up. But Melo storms up to Dom, to ROCK him with haymakers! Melo whips, Dom reverses but Melo ducks ‘n’ dodges to springboard LARIAT! Dragunov has magically appeared on commentary to watch this match, and Melo RIPS the shirt he was wearing. Free souvenir for the fans, and the bell finally rings! Dom rushes up but Melo dodges to CHOP!

Melo flops to the apron and Dom goes out after him.

Dom whips, Melo reverses, and Dom goes into Dragunov!! Fans lose their minds and even Melo is shocked by what happened! Did Melo mean to do that? But it doesn’t matter, because now Dom YANKS Melo into Dragunov! Dom puts Melo in the ring, talks smack to Dragunov, then SMACKS Dragunov!! Fans lose their minds again as Dom angers the wrong man! Dragunov runs in to CLOBBER Dom and Melo!!

No Contest

BAR!!” But Dom sends Melo into the TORPEDO MOSCOW!! Dom runs away, but wait! Dragon Lee storms up behind him! SUPERKICK!! Fans are loving it as The Wonder Boy stands over Dirty Dom! Will Dragon Lee take the North American title and the No Mercy spot from Dom? As for Dragunov and Melo, is this only fuel for the fire going into their rematch?

Trick Williams is watching.

And he does not like how that all played out. But then The Schism walks in. Joe Gacy tells Trick that everyone wants to be their own man, but no one ever thinks how that’d affect everyone else. Ava Raine says Trick left his best friend all alone. Trick asks if they just came in here to talk crazy. Ava says being alone is written all over his face. This isn’t loneliness! This is olive oil. But just because he is his own man doesn’t mean he’s alone. Trick, just look around you! There is no one else here! The Schism isn’t too different from Trick. They know what he’s going through, and they can help him. Just come with them.

Trick, joining The Schism? Hmm… NO. He wants nothing to do with their roots or trees, he’s seen this movie before so he knows how it ends. Gacy says Trick is so charismatic. If only Melo took Trick up on that offer. Some friend. The Schism leaves, but Trick says it’s Trick Melo Gang 4 Life. Will the bond between these two be unbreakable, no matter who tries?

Duke and Chase regroup backstage.

Chase says that was amazing! Did you see the Chase U student section? They were going crazy! Thanks, Mr. Chase. Duke just needs like an hour to recover. An hour? Duke, time is relative! The Triple Threat has no time limit! And though Duke has already proved a lot of people wrong, he has to do it again. Yeah, yeah, just understand, Joe Coffey is as big as an ox, and Frazer is faster than Usain Bolt! Chase asks Duke a question. Who is the MVP? What? Duke is. Then as of now, who is none as The Spoiler? Duke is…! And with the entire student section, the entire country of Australia, and the entire NXT Universe cheering him on, who is gonna go out there and give those others an Andre Chase University sized ASS WHOOPIN?! DUKE IS!!

WHO? DUKE! WHO?! DUKE!! LET’S EFFIN GOOOOO~! Duke is reenergized, but will this be enough against two opponents? The moment of truth is up next!

SCRYPTS and the boys run a side hustle.

They’re playing dice for big money, and here it comes. SEVENS! The loser gets mad but he can’t fight men as big as Nima & Price. They and Scrypts divide up the winnings, and Nima says they are shaking up this whole tag division! Price says there are teams talking like they don’t understand the language. But these hands speak it fluently. Scrypts says they’re all just clowns. But Tony D & Stacks think things are real sweet. Just wait until they feel the pressure. Scrypts says that bond is why he rocks with them. They know what it is to go to sleep with no dinner. Fast losers and slow winners. Reaching for cash in your pockets, nothing there.

But by any means, they gotta eat. True hustlers. Look at ’em n ow! Making it happen, no handouts! Self made, from the dirt to making it out the mud. O T M! They’re gonna take it all!

Backstage interview with Hank ‘n’ Tank.

McKenzie says we all just heard from Bronco Nima & Lucien Price, another young and hungry team. Hank says Bronco & Lucien are powerful dudes, and Tank says they know firsthand. Those two have Scrypts with them now, but still going nowhere. Though, neither are Walker & Ledger. Tank says they’re easygoing guys, but right now, there’s an opportunity in sight. That means no more games, turn up the intensity. Hank says Stacks & Tony want them to earn their way to that table, so consider this challenge accepted! Hank & Tank haven’t missed many meals, but they’re not just here to eat. They’re here to FEAST on the tag division!

If Nima & Price wanna get in the way, then Hank & Tank have no problems working up quite the appetite! They head out, who wins the BIG battle between these heavy hitters?

NXT Global Heritage Invitational Tournament, Group B Triple Threat: Joe Coffey w/ Gallus VS Duke Hudson w/ Andre Chase VS Nathan Frazer!

Duke and Joe go back and forth, fans rally and duel, and Frazer runs past them both, ducks ‘n’ dodges, keeps going, and he SHOTGUNS them both out of the ring! Fans fire up as Frazer fires himself up. Frazer builds speed to DIVE! Direct hit on both behemoths and Frazer is roaring! Lash likes the dive at least.

Frazer puts Duke in, throws hands, and then he CLUBS Duke. Duke throws hands but Frazer stomps. Frazer CLUBS Duke, throws hands, and he has Duke in a corner. Frazer runs in, but into an URENAGE! Fans fire up but then Joe trips Duke, to YANK him into the post! Joe pulls on Duke’s legs to put that post where the sun don’t shine! Oro and Dar feel for Duke here as NXT goes to break.

NXT returns again and Joe has Frazer down with a top wristlock. Frazer endures, and fans rally as Duke drags himself up to the apron. Dar and Oro are “sparring” while Frazer fights up. Joe ROCKS Frazer, throws him down and then DECKS Duke! Joe says he’s winning this, but Frazer throws hands! Frazer ROCKS Joe, but Joe scoops to SLAM Frazer! Fans boo as Joe crosses his arms in the Gallus pose. Joe then deadlifts Frazer, but Frazer victory rolls! TWO!! Joe escapes, and he pop-up UPPERCUTS Frazer! GLASGOW SENDOFF! Joe runs, but Duke SHOVES Frazer aside, to roll Joe up! TWO!!! Joe escapes this time and shocks Duke!

Fans fire up and the watch party is just eating this up! Duke tells Joe it was that close to a repeat. The two stand, throw hands, and fans are fired up for the MVP! Duke JABS! JABS! JABS! Flip, flop and “U~!” ELBOW! Duke then scoops to SIDEWALK SLAM! Cover, TWO! Frazer reaches out feebly while Duke hauls Joe up. Frazer stands to SUPERKICK! Then he QUEBRADAS to catch Joe, and he kicks Duke low, DOUBLE DDT COMBO! Cover on Joe, TWO! Cover on Duke, TWO! Frazer is frustrated but the fans are thunderous as all three men are down. Frazer goes to the apron, Meta Four doesn’t want this.

Frazer springboards but stops as he sees Joe show haymaker! Frazer then ROCKS Joe, springboards again, but Joe gets under. Joe comes in, GLASGOW- SUPERKICK! Frazer sees Duke but Duke hits him first! SLINGSHOT GERMAN SUPLEX! Duke sees Joe running up, swings, but Joe waistlocks. Duke elbows free, runs, and he BOOTS Joe down! Frazer staggers up, into a scoop and SWINGING SLAMS! Cover, TWO!! Frazer survives but the fans fire up again! Duke scoops Frazer, spins and spins and SWINGING SLAMS!! Cover, Joe breaks it! Fans are torn and Meta Four cannot believe this match.

Frazer runs up but Duke pops him up, RANA!! Duke got spiked!! Frazer goes up, PHOENIX SPLASH!! But Joe drags him up and TOSSES him out! Frazer skins the cat, but gets a GLASGOW SENDOFF!! ALL THE BEST FOR THE BELLS!!! Cover, JOE WINS!!!

Winner: Joe Coffey, by pinfall (advances to the finals)

Frazer was so, so close, but the Iron King steals this one! Dunne shows up to stare Joe down, ready to go even now! But then they both look at Dar, and Dar holds up the Heritage Cup. Will it be the Bruiserweight or the Iron King that meets Dar in the Golden State?

Backstage interview with Mustafa Ali.

McKenzie says The Beacon requested this time, so what is on his mind? Ali says that it has been 24 hours, yet no one is in an uproar other than himself! An uproar? Over what? Ali says HE is the rightful #1 contender to the North American Championship, and that is FACT, not opinion! Plus, Ali promised Dragon Lee that should Ali win at No mercy, Dragon would get the very first title opportunity, afterward. And yet, while Ali is watching Raw last night, a graphic shows up to advertise Dominik Mysterio VS Dragon Lee for the North American Championship, next week on Monday Night Raw!

Ali has to ask us, HOW DOES THAT MAKE SENSE?! How does the man he beat get a title match before he does?! Ali could say this is a travesty, but that word doesn’t even fit here! Neither of those men deserve that title. Dom is a criminal, Dragon is a liar! And Ali… Ali is going to deal with this. With both of them! Next week, on Monday Night Raw! Ali heads out, but just how is he going to handle this?

Tiffany finds Kiana backstage.

Tiff says good looking out tonight. Kiana says it’s not really what either of them wanted, though. Tiff just wants to be honest for a minute. Kiana got Tiff so ready for Becky. Kiana says same back. Iron sharpens iron. Now, they may not be each other’s number one fan, but they do have one thing in common: They both despise Becky Lynch. And since Becky has zero friends and no one likes her, they can do some serious damage together. Then they will decide who the next NXT Women’s Champion is around here. Kiana says finally, a woman with some sense. Plus, Tiff has a special surprise. She’ll tell on the way.

But little do they know, Becky’s watching the show. Will The Man be ready for whatever the Wrestling Barbie has up her proverbial sleeve?

Fallon Henley, Brooks Jensen & Josh Briggs watch last week’s Six Man Tag back.

Namely, where Myles Borne reveals his true colors and screws their team over. Why would he do this? Briggs puts this on Fallon but she asks what he means by that. Myles was her idea, she said he could be trusted! Jensen has them calm down, and Fallon says she thought Myles was a good guy. She feels he still is, but he’s hanging out with the wrong people. Briggs wants Fallon to listen to herself. That guy is a snake, stop making excuses! She isn’t making excuses! Yes, she is! But then Baron Corbin walks over and asks what is going on. What’re they even arguing about? Not that he actually cares. No one here cares.

This isn’t high school, so whatever this is, get over it. Either way, shut up so Baron can enjoy his massage. Briggs is glad Corbin could actually hear them. Briggs was worried Bron Breakker popped those eardrums last week. Corbin turns back around and tells Briggs that just because they got outsmarted by a rookie on his first night doesn’t mean they have to puff out their chests and get all tough. Oh, Corbin says everyone here is soft yet is the one getting the massage. Book another one very soon. Briggs and the group head out, when and where will Briggs and Corbin throw down?

NXT Media catches up with Melo.

They ask him about how he’s feeling after earlier. Melo says Dragunov walks around with a lot of confidence, like he’s already got the championship. But he doesn’t, Melo has the championship because he’s the champion. At Great American Bash, Melo knocked Dragunov down. At No Mercy, Melo knocks him down again. Next week, Melo lets Dragunov know where he stands. The contract signing is coming, how wild will it get before the bell rings?

2v1 Handicap: Tiffany Stratton & Kiana James VS Becky Lynch!

Tiffy Time is over but she looks to change that at No Mercy. Will the Calculator helping her with the numbers game be the first step to that? Or will neither of them be ready for The Big Time?

But wait! That surprise Tiff mentioned is a surprise attack at the ramp! Fans boo as Tiff & Kiana don’t wanna play fair! They stomp Becky, then RAM her into steel steps! They stomp her more, drag her up, and put her in the ring. Fans boo more and the ref wans them to stand down, but Kiana & Tiff mug Becky in the corner! They stomp her, but here comes LYRA VALKYRIA! She dodges then CLOBBERS Kiana! And she LARIATS Tiff! And LARIATS Kiana! Lyra sends Tiff into Kiana, then she and Becky both CLOBBER them! Tiff & Kiana bail out, and it seems The Man is willing to take The Morrigan’s help!

But that means numbers are even, so of course Tiff & Kiana want out. They go up the ramp, so Becky & Lyra pursue! They CLOBBER Kiana & Tiff from behind, brawl their way back down the ramp, and fans are loving this! Becky SMACKS Kiana off the apron, shoves her in, and fans rally up as this is finally a match!

Becky Lynch & Lyra Valkyria VS Tiffany Stratton & Kiana James!

Becky drags Kiana from the ropes, clinches and BECKSPLODERS! Fans fire up as Kiana staggers around, and Becky storms up on her. Becky bumps Kiana off buckles, then brings her over to bump off more buckles. And then a third corner! And again, and again, and again! Fans rally, the ref counts, and Becky lets off at 4. Becky glares at Tiff, Tiff glares back, and Becky drags Kiana up to send her to the corner. Tiff doesn’t wanna tag in? Becky runs in but Tiff catches her to ROCK her! But Becky blocks the buckle bump (say that five times fast) and bumps Tiff! Becky then drags Tiff up and into the ring!

Becky bumps Tiff off more buckles, then throws her to the mat! Becky goes for the arm but Tiff trips her and runs! DOUBLE- NO, Becky sunset flips the stomps! Tiff rolls through, Becky SOBATS her to the corner! FOREARM SMASH! Tag to Lyra, and fans fire up as the lasses double whip, trip and sliding dropkick! Lyra covers, TWO! Lyra keeps her cool and brings Tiff around to wrench. Tiff ROCKS Lyra, tags in Kiana, and Kiana runs in, into a drop toehold! Lyra facelocks, grinds Kiana then headlocks, but Kiana fights up. Fans rally, clapping Lyra’s theme, and Becky tags in as Kiana powers out.

Lyra slides under Kiana, anchors her feet, and Becky hits a BULLDOG! Cover, TWO! Becky has the fans rallying up even more, and she brings Kiana up to clinch. Kiana fights the slam, throws haymakers, and Tiff fires up! Kiana runs in but Becky dumps her out! Becky runs, and she WRECKS Kiana with a dropkick! Then FLYING FOREARM off the apron! Tiff runs in, Becky dodges, and Lyra WRECKS Tiff with the dropkick! Fans are all fired up as NXT goes picture in picture.

Becky and Lyra high-five, then Becky fetches Kiana. Becky puts Kiana in, avoids a shoulder and kicks, to then ROUNDHOUSE! Becky goes up, to MISSILE- NO, Kiana gets under! Kiana runs in but Becky wrangles her! Kiana fights up, whips Becky away but Becky BOOTS back! Tiff runs in again, but Becks DECKS her! Only for Kiana to attack from behind! Kiana puts Becky in the corner, stomps away, then tags in Tiff. Tiff stomps a mudhole into Becky! Then she CHOKES Becky on ropes! Tiff lets off to run and HIP ATTACK! Cover, TWO! Tiff drags Becky around into a STRETCH PLUM!

Becky endures, fights up, but Tiff whips her to the corner. Tiff fires forearms, then stomps away! Tag to Kiana, Kiana stomps Becky, then RAMS into her! And again! Kiana digs her shoulder in, Tiff tags in, and Kiana handsprings to RAM into Becky! Tiff handsprings corner to corner to back elbow! Tiff fires off back elbows, then snapmares to DOUBLE STOMP!! Cover, TWO!! Tiff is frustrated and she drags Becky up. Becky fights back as NXT returns to single picture. Tiff CLUBS Becky, whips her to a corner, then runs in, into a BOOT! Becky brings Tiff in, goes up, but Tiff YANKS Becky down to the mat!

Tiff drags Becky over, tags in Kiana, and they mug Becky. Kiana drags Becky up to RAM into her, and again, and then brings her around to throw her by her hair! Fans boo but Kiana wraps on a chinlock. Becky endures, fans rally up, but Kiana leans on the hold. Becky fights up but Kiana throws Becky down! Kiana grinds the hold, Becky still endures and fights up. Fans rally, Becky arm-drags free, and Becky ROCKS Kiana! And again, and again! Kiana blocks the kick to throw Becky down! Kiana drags Becky up, RMAS her in the corner, and again, then Tiff tags in. Kiana handsprings, but into a BOOT!

Tiff hurries to whip Becky into another corner, then she handsprings again, but Becky dodges! Tiff hits buckles and scrambles to tag Kiana! Kiana runs up to drag Becky away from Lyra! But Becky avoids the elbow drop! Hot tag to Lyra! Lyra rallies on Kiana and Tiff! KICK, KICK and then she dodges them both, to springboard DOUBLE CROSSBODY! Fans fire up as Lyra ENZIGURIS Tiff! And SOBATS Kiana, front kicks, CHOPS and AX KICKS! Lyra then NORTHERN LIGHTS! Bridging cover, but Tiff breaks it! Fans rally as Tiff brings Lyra up. Kiana joins in, they double suplex but Becky makes the save!

Becky and Lyra swing, miss, and Kiana & Tiff kick low. But Becky TOSSES Tiff, Lyra TOSSES Kiana, and they have them in the ropes! Becky & Lyra fires off the strike fest! They both go up corners, and fans fire up for the DOUBLE GUILLOTINE LEG DROPS!! Cover, TWO!! Kiana survives for her team but Lyra keeps her cool. Lyra drags Kiana up, wrenches and facelocks, but Kiana fights to facelock back. Kiana back suplexes, Lyra lands on her feet! Lyra ducks ‘n’ dodges but Tiff trips up the springboard! So Becky fires off on Tiff! But Tiff POSTS Becky! Kiana ROCKS Lyra, scoops and POWERBOMBS!

Tag to Tiff and she goes up, to SWANTON BOMB! Cover, Becky breaks it! Fans are thunderous as all four women are down! Becky and Kiana bail out, Lyra and Tiff crawl for their corners. Hot tags to Becky and Kiana! Kiana storms in but Becky goes up, to MISSILE DROPKICK! Tiff runs in to scoop, but Becky slips out! Becky has a dragon sleeper, then she kicks Kiana! DOUBLE DDT COMBO! Cover, TWO! INTO THE DISARM-HER!! Fans are thunderous as Kiana endures, fights up, and rolls Becky! Kiana BOOTS Becky, Lyra sneaks a tag. MANHANDLE SLAM, and then the FLYING SPLASH!! Cover, Lyra & Becky win!

Winners: Becky Lynch & Lyra Valkyria, by pinfall

The Man & The Morrigan teamed up and kicked some lass! But then Tiff SMACKS Becky with a chair! And JAMS Lyra! And SMACKS Becky again! And again! And again! Tiff throws the chair down, grabs the belt and holds it up over Becky. Fans boo but will this be what we see at the end of No Mercy? But wait, Becky crawls over to ropes and grabs herself a mic. “Tiffany! That’s how you wanna play it? Then at No Mercy, it’s gonna be you and me, EXTREME RULES!!” Fans fire up as Becky raises the ante!! Will Tiffy Time even survive this rematch?

My Thoughts:

A great NXT here, with a lot set up for both next week’s go-home episode and No Mercy. For one, great bookending of “N BEX T” with the women’s title story. Really good opening promo from Becky, with good response from Tiffany, and then Kiana jumping in was a logical move given Kiana got all up in Becky’s face. I like Roxie offered her help to Becky, but Becky was right for saying that after that great match against Lola Vice, Roxie should rest up. Lyra saving Becky from the ambush and joining the match was also a logical move given their friendship, and that was a great main event.

Lyra getting the pin is great for her, and then Tiff and Becky setting up an Extreme Rules match for No Mercy is awesome. For one, with it being anything goes, Tiff can win the belt back after using all sorts of weapons, or also getting help from Kiana. Just as Tiff set herself up to fail in the original match, this could be Becky playing into Tiff’s hands this time. Tiff can be two-time women’s champ, Becky can return to the WWE Women’s World Championship story with a familiar foe in Nia Jax, but also with all the other great names on Raw.

Jacy and Thea had a decent segment, very much a modern and bad girl version of the 80s to 90s trope of the shopping spree fashion montage. These two could become a good tag team, as could Kiana & Tiff if they really wanted. Seriously, have the WWE Women’s Tag Champions show up on NXT already, or else what was the point of unifying the tag titles? Hell, where are Alba Fyre & Isla Dawn? They haven’t been on TV but word is, they wrestled a dark match for SmackDown. Those two need a huge comeback in the tag title story in time for Halloween to really scare Chelsea Green for the lulz.

Melo VS Dom ending up a No Contest, or whatever the official decision was, makes sense in the end given everything going on. Dom is great but he ain’t beating Melo, but then Dom needs some sense of momentum going into what could be two title matches in one week. Dragon got the better of Dom here, and then Ali has a good promo addressing the honestly surprising move to have Dom VS Dragon happen on Raw. Ali might be the reason Dragon doesn’t win against Dom on Monday, but maybe Dragon ends up the reason Ali doesn’t win at No Mercy? Or maybe, just maybe, we get a Triple Threat after all.

Great promos from the tag teams tonight, such as Tony & Stacks setting up this dinner meeting idea. Good promos from Team Scrypts and Hank ‘n’ Tank in response, their tag match is going to be great stuff, but it feels like Bronco Nima & Lucien Price win. Tony & Stacks are Faces, The Creed Brothers are Faces, I feel like Garza & Carrillo are Faces (or at least Tweeners) given they’re now representing familia, so Nima & Price would be the Heels in the mix. At most, we get a Fatal 4 Way for the titles like back in the Black ‘n’ Gold Era. But more likely, we get a Triple Threat of the other teams, winner goes to No Mercy to face The D’Angelo Family.

And really, just awesome stuff out of the Global Heritage Invitational Tournament. Bate VS Dunne going down to the last 13 seconds was awesome, Duke beating Coffey to force the Triple Threat was awesome. I am very surprised by the choices for finalists, but at the same time, so great that Dunne and Coffey are getting the nod to even get this far. Dunne VS Coffey is going to be just as awesome as tonight’s matches, and I can’t be sure who wins. It’d be great if Coffey did, but then I fear it’d be another case of Joe Coffey “not winning the big one.” And as an aside, very surprised Meta Four went with The Matrix and not another Disney related theme. But I guess Bakersfield is north of Los Angeles which is basically Hollywood, so any hit movie/franchise is fair game.

My Score: 8.9/10

What a powerful return for Mina, and while Harley shimmies in frustration, will it be Mina celebrating even more should Mariah May retain her title?

Jack Perry arrives.

The Scapegoat arrives in his black bus, but he also leaves the engine running while he heads inside. What is the twisted TNT Champion planning for tonight?

Daniel Garcia VS Johnny TV w/ MXM Collection!

Speaking of the TNT Championship, it will be Red Death challenging Jack Perry for that gold. But before he becomes the Face of TNT, can he prove to Johnny and the world that he is #TVReady?

The bell rings and Garcia circles with Johnny. They tie up, go around, and Johnny powers Garcia to a corner. The ref counts, Johnny lets off slowly, but then he takes a swing! Garcia dodges, headlocks and grinds Johnny. Johnny powers up and out, then he RUNS Garcia over! The fans are torn but Garcia gets up to shake that off. Then you’re what’s holding him back. But I’m gonna fix that.”

Perry shoves Menard aside, then goes into the bus. Perry brings out a tow chain, with a hook on it! Perry CLUBS Menard, then hooks him up to the back of the bus! Between the chain and the bus exhaust, Menard is coughing and sputtering. Perry tells Menard, “We all have to sacrifice.” Perry then goes into the bus, but Garcia runs up! Garcia fires off on Perry, throws him into the side of the bus, “You thought this was a game?!” Garcia stomps Perry, and he frees Menard from the chain. Garcia stands Perry up abut Menard has an idea. Menard takes the camera, but Collision goes to break. What hell will Garcia put Perry through a week before Full Gear?

Lio Rush speaks.

“I am sick and tired of feeling the way that I’ve been feeling lately. Lost and confused on where I stand with the people that surrounded me. It’s really hard to know exactly who you are when you lose the matches that mean the most. But then I take a deep breath, I look at my watch, and I remember that I’m the Man of the Hour. I came to AEW to collect titles. I’m a 30-year-old piece of gold, and I pray that the people I call friends get on the same page. Because it’s only a matter of time before Lio Rush is rushing to the top.”

Garcia has Perry tied to the hood of the bus!

Garcia shouts at Perry that he was waiting for a reason! Garcia and Menard get in the bus, and they take Perry for a ride! They go through guard rails, up a ramp, and perhaps even into town! Will the Scapegoat end up a bug on a windshield?

MVP stands with Shelton in the victory, but Komander definitely give more of a fight than either man expected. MVP then says we should leave with a souvenir! Shelton grabs at Komander’s mask! Abrahantes gets in the ring to stop Shelton, but then he sees MVP there. MVP grabs Abrahantes by the neck! MVP LARIATS Abrahantes down! MVP may be a manager now, but he can still hit other managers hard. Will nothing stop The Hurt Syndicate from owning AEW?

Backstage interview with Kris Statlander.

Renee Paquette is with the #BornAgainKristen and says that we’re just one week away from Kris VS Mercedes Mone for the TBS Championship at Full Gear. Things have already gotten out of control, from Mone & Kamille trying to run Kris over with a car, and then Kris tackles them through a wall. Once the bell rings, what can we expect? Kris says, “Anything and everything.” Mone is one of the best, will do anything she can to win, and is most dangerous when she’s cornered, where she is right now. Everything she’s tried hasn’t worked because Kris is still standing. Kris will be the one standing tall as the NEW TBS Champion.

In steps Hikaru Shida with enthusiastic applause. The Shining Samurai tells Kris that she just wants to wish her luck. It’s about time someone beats Mone’s boney ass! And when Kris becomes the new champion, Shida will gladly be her first challenger. Kris says alright, sure. But here’s another idea: Kris is always open for a challenge any time, especially against #HolyShida, the only THREE-TIME AEW Women’s World Champion. So how about this? Wednesday Night Dynamite, Shida VS Kris. Shida’s all for it! They shake hands, but will fighting Shida be a little too much before going to Full Gear? Or will it prove Kris is still The Galaxy’s Greatest?

Backstage interview with The Acclaimed.

Lexy Nair is with Max Caster & Anthony Bowens ahead of their huge Full Gear Tag Team Contenders Series match with La Faccion Ingobernable. But where is Billy Gunn? Caster asks that more importantly, where are their heads going into the match? Because Caster just has to say, as the Best Wrestler Alive, he’s feeling real confident. Bowens says for Lexy’s actual question, Billy will be here. What Caster was trying to say is that The Acclaimed do feel great, because they are one match away from joining that Fatal 4, where they will become TWO-TIME AEW World Tag Team Champions in the Scissor King’s home state of New Jersey!

And when they win, The Acclaimed will celebrate with one big scissoring, because EVERYONE LOVES THE ACCLAIMED! Ain’t that right, Lexy? Oh, wait, MVP steps in, Shelton Benjamin by his side. The Hurt Syndicate just wants to wish The Acclaimed luck. The Syndicate handled their business, so Caster & Bownes should handle theirs. Oh, and Max, use your size and strength. This is a big opportunity, don’t blow it. The Syndicate heads out, but will The Acclaimed win to impress MVP? Or to get back where they belong?

“Powerhouse” Will Hobbs VS Bulk Bronson w/ The Iron Savages!

The return of the Powerhouse is truly big for AEW, but all the Iron Savages are big. And Jacked Jameson wants everyone to hold on. The fat morons and skinny idiots of Albany can shut up. Jameson gives all the introductions, and looking at “P-P-Powerhouse,” all you people are expecting a meat madness match! You want meat?! Then yeah, chant it up! But here’s some news: all these losers are going on a vegan diet! There will be no meat tonight! Because they are The Iron Savages, sippin’ sauce and livin’ hoss while they take all the Low T Meatriders to #TIDDYCITY! Guess Bronson can do it, too?

The bell rings and the fans rally up. Bronson pumps up and puffs up, but he’s looking lean compared to Hobbs. Bronson runs, RAMS Hobbs, but Bronson bounces off! The fans fire up but the Savages coach Bronson up. Hobbs says stop playing and bring it! Hobbs SLAPS Bronson, so Bronson really fires up! Bronson kicks low, and says, “How ’bout that, Hobbs?!” Bronson runs, but Hobbs dodges and CLOBBERS him! The fans fire up while Hobbs brings Bronson around. Scoop and SLAM, and the fans fire up with Hobbs! Hobbs then brings Bronson up to scoop and SLAM again! Bronson writhes, the fans chant for “MEAT! MEAT! MEAT!”

Hobbs drags Bronson up, scoops and SLAMS again! Bronson writhes while Hobbs looms over him. Hobbs brings Bronson up, but Bronson wrenches out to ROCK Hobbs! Bronson fires haymakers, then CLUBS away on Hobbs’ back! The fans rally, Bronson reels Hobbs in, but Hobbs suplexes Bronson first! Bronson flounders into a corner, the fans fire up as Hobbs headbutts buckles! Hobbs runs up to SPLASH in the corner! Hobbs says he’s got all the meat! Hobbs LARIATS point blank again and again as fans chant “MEAT!” Hobbs lets Bronson stagger about, before he CLOBBERS him!

Hobbs shakes the ropes, and the straps come down! The fans fire up but Jameson talks trash on the apron. Hobbs DECKS him! Boulder runs in?! Hobbs hits a SPINEBUSTER! The ref can’t believe what’s going on as Hobbs torture racks Bronson! ARGENTINE RACK! Bronson TAPS, Hobbs wins! And drops Bronson on Boulder!

Winner: “Powerhouse” Will Hobbs, by submission

Big, jacked, and ANYBODY can get it! That is the way of the Powerhouse! Will the Book of Hobbs have quite the comeback story?

Backstage interview with The Undisputed Kingdom.

Lexy is now with Roderick Strong, Matt Taven & Mike Bennett. She congratulates Roddy for getting his third win via Lance Archer. Roddy now faces MJF at Full Gear, so how is he feeling? How’s he feeling? First, thanks for all that, Lexy, he appreciates it. Second, “MAAAX! You have seven days. Seven days from right now until you’re standing across the ring from me, Max. And look, I got a lot to say, and on Wednesday, you’re gonna hear it all, but I just wanna leave you with this: Max, you walk around here thinking you’re smarter than everybody, you’re better than everybody. I don’t think you realize what you’ve gotten yourself into.

“I am the Messiah of the Backbreaker. I am a damn wrestling legend! And when Full Gear ends, you’re gonna realize that I’m better than you, and you know it!” Roddy is ready to throw it all back in MJF’s face, but will the Wolf of Wrestling have a contingency plan?

Private Party is here!

The MVP Arena is ready to party with the champs, and Marq Quen & Isiah Kassidy are ready to watch the final match of the contenders’ series! Who joins Private Party, The Outrunners, and The Kings of the Black Throne at Full Gear?

Full Gear Tag Team Contenders Series: Rush & The Beast Mortos w/ Jake “The Snake” Roberts VS The Acclaimed w/ Billy Gunn!

Platinum Max of course has a diss track. “These dudes gotta be embarrassed. You ’bout to lose bigger than Kamala Harris! LFI in a title match is outta place. It’s like Mexicans being managed by Jake the Snake! I would’ve called the committee, but you’re lucky Albany’s a sanctuary city!” Bowens takes over to say, “ALBANAAAAAY~! The Acclaimed have arrived! Scissor me, Daddy Ass~!” And he does~! But Caster doesn’t? The teams sort out, and while Caster wants to, Bowens convinces him to let Bowens start. Mortos steps up and the fans sing while the bell rings. Bowens and Mortos circle, tie up, and Mortos powers Bowens to a corner.

The ref counts, Mortos lets off, but Bowens dodges the shot to fire CHOPS! Mortos just roars! Mortos runs up, Bowens dodges to CHOP, CHOP and fire forearms! Bowens DROPKICKS but Mortos rebounds to CLOBBER Bowens! Bowens gets up but Caster tags in. Caster tells Bowens to relax, but here comes Rush. The fans rally up and the two tie up. Rush powers Caster back, Caster turns things around, but Rush turns it back around.

The ref counts as they’re in a corner, and the two separate. Rush eggs Caster on, the two tie up again, and Rush waistlocks. Caster switches, shoves, and drops down. Rush runs up but Caster hurdles. Rush leaps over but Caster runs him over! Rush runs Caster over! The fans fire up, but Caster says hold on! Tranquilo! Caster raises the ingobernable fist, Rush is moderately amused, but then Caster sucker punches him! Rush scowls and DECKS Caster! Rush goes out to grab his favorite green cable! Mortos distracts the ref, but Caster fires hands on Rush first! And Caster uses the cable! The fans cheer as Rush tastes his own medicine!

But then Rush SLINGS Caster to the floor! Billy is upset but the ref wants him to stay back. Billy tries to point out the shenanigans, but Collision goes picture in picture.

The ref is busy with Billy and that lets Rush LASH Caster with the cable! Rush SMACKS Caster off the desk, Caster scrambles into the ring, but Rush anchors his leg. Rush drags Caster up, CHOPS him then ROCKS him, then bumps him off buckles. Tag to Mortos and Mortos SMACKS Caster! Cover, TWO! Caster toughs it out but Mortos NECK GTWISTS! Cover, TWO! Mortos stalks Caster to a corner while Private Party watches closely. Mortos SMACKS Caster again! Mortos puts Caster in the corner, taunts Bowens, and while the ref is busy with Bowens, that lets The Snake get in cheap shots!

Billy and Bowens both protest, but Mortos wrenches Caster. Tag to Rush and LFI mugs Caster. Caster goes to a corner but Rush whips corner to corner. Rush runs up and feints the dropkick to SMACK Caster! Rush soaks up the cheers and jeers while he blows a kiss. Rush drags Caster up to snapmare and motorcycle stretch. Caster endures but Jake is happy with this. Caster fights up, but Rush throws him down by his hair! Private Party doesn’t like how this is going for Acclaimed, but Rush taunts Bowens. The ref has ot keep Bownse back again, and Rush drags Caster back. Tag to Mortos and LFI mugs Caster more while Collision goes to break.

Mortos roars, but Bowens sends him into the corner! Mortos tumbles up and out, then Bowens gives Rush the kick, kick, and FAMOUSER! Bowens shouts, “EVERYONE LOVES THE ACCLAIMED!” Bowens then goes up and aims, SUPER CROSSBODY onto Mortos! The fans fire up and Bowens hurries to put Mortos in. Cover, TWO! Mortos stays in this, but Bowens stays focused. Bowens fires forearms but Mortos hits back.

Bowens fires a flurry, then whips, but Mortos reverses. Mortos POP-UP SAMOAN DROPS Bowens down! The fans fire up but Caster MISSILE DROPKCIKS Mortos! Rush runs up, but Caster SUPERKICKS him! Caster runs at Rush, but Rush THROWS him into the corner! Bowens DECKS Rush! The fans fire up as all four men are down! Private Party likes this, too, as Billy coaches his guys. Jake also coaches LFI, and “This is Awesome!” Mortos blocks a shot to HEADBUTT Bowens down! Tag to Rush and Rush runs at the corner, only for Bowens to dodge! Bowens CHOPS and CHOPS and CHOPS away!

Bowens sits Rush down, mocks the tranquilo with some scissor fingers, but that pisses Rush off! Rush shoves Bowens, the hands start flying! Rush whips Bowens to a corner, to CHOP, CHOP, and CHOP! Rush sits Bowens down to stomp away! The ref counts, Rush argues with him, but then goes corner to corner! Feint and BOOT! Rush gives a proper tranquilo, then he has the fans fired up. Bownes runs up, but into a SNAP POWERSLAM! Rush puts Bowens in the drop zone, goes up, SUPER SENTON FLOPS! Tag to Caster and he goes up! DIVING SPLASH! Cover, Mortos breaks it! Mortos gets Rush to safety, then tags in.

Rush dodges Caster, Mortos ROCKS him! Rush hits a BACKSTABBER, then holds Caster up for Mortos’ MISSILE DROPKICK! Cover, Bowens breaks it! Rush CHOPS Bowens, Mortos whips Caster, and then Mortos CLOBBERS Caster! The fans rally as Rush says now it’s time! But Bowens fires off Rock, Paper, Scissors SUPERKICK! Mortos CLOBBERS Bowens! Mortos then runs at Caster, CANNONBALL MISSES! Hot tag to Bowens and he hits THE ARRIVAL on Mortos! MIC DROP from Caster!! Cover, ACCLAIMED WINS!

Winners: The Acclaimed, by pinfall (advance to Full Gear)

Private Party says alright, nice on Acclaimed! Billy helps Caster to his feet, but Caster is a bit squirrely. Caster calms down, and The Acclaimed all SCISSOR FINGER~! They’re in the Fatal 4, but will Caster & Bowens be the ones to become TWO-TIME TWO-TIME AEW World Tag Team Champions?

PROGRAMMING NOTE for next week!

With Full Gear being next Saturday, November 23rd, Collision takes a week off! We’ll see everyone back here in two weeks on November 30th!

Backstage interview with Mina Shirakawa.

Lexy is with the Fighting Gravure Idol and congratulates her on her win in her return. Mina says yes, she is so back to have come back here, and she is so excited for Mariah’s match. Lexy says Mina already has multiple championships, is AEW gold on her mind at all? Mina says she’s just excited for Mariah’s match. But that’s not a no… Time to dance! Mina shimmies her way on out, but will she end up wanting something more than just fun with her friend?

Backstage interview with The Conglomeration.

Lexy is now with Mark Briscoe, Rocky Romero & Tomohiro Ishii, and she notes that in a couple weeks, Dynamite: Thanksgiving Eve, it will be Tomohiro Ishii VS Chris Jericho for the ROH World Championship. How is Ishii feeling? The Stone Pitbull is stone-faced, so Mark Briscoe “translates” what #BigTom is exuding with his aura. This is what he’s trying to say: Jericho, your days are numbered! You better shine that title up real nice, sleep with it real close, because soon, it’s getting up outta there! “Learning Tree my ass, you about to learn a lesson about humility! You about to learn a lesson about gettin’ your ass whooped!”

Mark asks if they understand what he’s saying, and Rocky says yeah, he’s picking up what Mark’s putting down. Rocky’s digging the energy, and he feels the intensity. But he has to know one thing: What is the word of the day? That’s a hell of a question, Rocky, because today, it is a menagerie of words! Take a basket, reach in, pull out the word of the day, and well, it’s tenacious! Tenacity! Ferocious! Velocity! Ferocity! He’s tellin’ ya, long story short, that title is coming back to the Conglomeration, courtesy of Tomohiro Ishii! Jericho, you gettin’ your ass whooped, son! RARARARA!

Mark may be fire on the outside, but Ishii is fire on the inside. Will The Learning Tree be burned down either way?

Backstage interview with FTR.

Lexy notes that this past Wednesday, Cash Wheeler & Dax Harwood came up short in their own Full Gear Contenders Series match. Where are their heads out right now? Cash says he wishes he had an answer, because he doesn’t really know. FTR doesn’t know where they go from here. They wish it was just one bad night, but the truth of the matter is, FTR lost those titles a little over a year ago and have had chances to get them back where they just haven’t. Maybe it’s FTR. Maybe their time has passed them. Maybe they need to reevaluate. Dax agrees. But on Dynamite, the better team won on that night.

While FTR could cry about it, or they could rebuild. Therefore, they will rebuild. This may not be FTR’s time, but it is someone’s time. It is The Outrunners’ time! And maybe after Full Gear, we get an FTRunners dream match for those titles. Boys, they’re pulling for you. Speaking of, we’re about to hear from The Outrunners right now!

The Outrunners speak.

Truth Magnum & Turbo Floyd have another retro style video in old standard definition, saying they’ve got the looks and the attitude, so you know they’ve got “the stuff!” It’s a highlight reel of their match with Top Flight, even using retro graphics in the editing. You gotta have the meat! And right now, they’re sizzling! But will Truth & Turbo be prime A1 material at Full Gear? Or will they end up well done?

AEW Women’s World Championship No Disqualifications Match: Mariah May VS Anna Jay!

The Battle of the Belts was a Title Eliminator that went The Queenslayer’s way, only for The Glamour to get her revenge in the proper title match. However, all the back and forth, the bullying and the brawling, it has led to this rubber match! And as if No Disqualifications isn’t raising the stakes enough, Anna promises that if she loses, this is the last time she challenges Mariah for the title! Will this last chance be just the chance Anna needs to become The Star of the Show? Or will AEW still be All About Mariah?

Anna already brings a duffel bag of weaponry, and Nigel panics for Mariah’s sake. But Mariah came prepared with a trash can, baseball bat, and proper attire for a Street Fight. The introductions are made, but Mariah throws her can already! Anna dodges then SHOTGUNS Mariah! The bell rings, Anna is right on Mariah, and she sends Mariah into the railing! And then the steel steps! And then back into railing! The fans fire up while Anna keeps after Mariah with haymakers. Anna whips Mariah hard into railing! The Vendetta watches backstage, they seem to like Anna bringing out the violence as she SMACKS Mariah off the desk!

Anna confiscates a monitor to SMACK Mariah on the back! Mariah falls into Schaivone’s arms, and Nigel is furiously jealous! Anna SMACKS Mariah off the apron, then grabs herself a chair, to SMACK Mariah with it legs first! Anna pushes Mariah into the ring, then goes up a corner. Mariah stands into Anna’s BLOCKBUSTER! The fans fire up as Anna keeps going, and she sits the chair up nearby. Anna drags Mariah up, but Mariah fires body shots! DDT onto the chair! Anna falls back while Mariah snarls. Mariah grabs the trash can and puts it around Anna! Mariah drums on the can, then goes to a corner.

Mariah climbs, Anna stands, and Mariah MISSILE DROPKICKS Anna down! Cover, TWO! Anna survives but Mariah just goes outside to look under the ring. The fans fire up in anticipation, and Mariah grins as she brings out a LADDER! Mariah pushes that ladder into the ring, stomps Anna around, then drags the ladder up. The ladder is propped up in a corner, then whips Anna, but Anna reverses! Mariah avoids hitting the ladder, but Anna has the QUEENSLAYER SLEEPER! Mariah flails, reaches out, but Anna hops on as a backpack! Only for Mariah to SENTON onto the ladder!

The fans fire up while both women are down, and Collision goes picture in picture.

Mariah sputters and coughs while she crawls to ropes. Mariah rolls out of the ring and hurries to look under the ring again. Mariah brings out a new chair, but Anna has brought out one of her own! They each slide the chairs in, and then they add more chairs! And more chairs! So many chairs! They both storm in, armed with chairs, and they CLASH! Mariah is disarmed, so Anna SMACKS her down! Anna goes for her duffel bag! Anna brings out… a crowbar, a wrench, wire, a chain, but she wants the PRYBAR! Mariah ROCKS Anna first, then THRWOS her down onto the chairs! Mariah stomps Anna, then sees all the goodies Anna brought!

Mariah picks up the strap! Mariah LASHES Anna, LASHES her again, but that just pisses Anna off! Anna blocks the shot, ROCKS Mariah, then LASHES her on the back! And LASHES her again! Mariah flounders, Anna kicks things aside to then stomp Mariah down. Anna drags Mariah up to suplex her onto the chairs! Mariah writhes but Anna covers, TWO!! Mariah stays in this, but that just means more pain! Anna stalks Mariah and DIGS the prybar into her ribs! Mariah kicks Anna away, then fires forearms! Anna eggs Mariah on, so Mariah KNEES her down! Cover, TWO! Anna toughs it out as Collision returns to single picture.

Mariah drags Anna up, for a SAIDO! Mariah then positions chairs before she fireman’s carries Anna. MADAY on a chair! Cover, TWO!?! Anna survives and Mariah is furious! Mariah grits her teeth as she drags Anna up and reels her in. Anna fights free, kicks low, then has the Gory Especial! GORY BOMB onto the ladder!! The ladder doesn’t break but Mariah’s face might have! Cover, TWO!! The Vendetta is still watching, and while Taya is very animated, Deonna is very stoic. Anna goes out to look under the ring. Albany gets what they want because here comes a TABLE! Anna brings this up to a TLC as she pushes the table into the ring.

Anna hurries in to set the table up while Mariah crawls and cries in pain. Anna has the table set just right, but she stomps Mariah first. Anna bumps Mariah off the buckles, then hoists her up top. Anna ROCKS Mariah, climbs up after her, and the fans fire up as she aims for the table. Mariah fires body shots first! Mariah bumps Anna off buckles, then SUPSER SUNSET FLIP POWERBOMBS through the table!! Cover, TWO?!?! Anna survives and Mariah cannot believe it! But this is what winning the title with no safety net means for Anna! Mariah goes out, looks under the ring, and she brings out spare railing!?

Mariah pushes the railing into the ring, but she also brings some chairs over. Mariah sets the chairs up before she props the railing up like a ramp. Mariah adds more chairs, but Anna hits a BACKSTABBER first! Both women are down again, but Anna grabs herself some chairs. Anna finishes the project Mariah was working on, and the railing is now a platform! Anna drags Mariah over but Mariah HEADBUTTS first! Mariah then puts Anna on the railing, and looks to go through with her plan all along! The fans fire up as Mariah climbs, but Anna trips her up first! Anna climbs up, and she has Mariah on the very top! SUPERPLEX on the railing!!!

The fans lose their minds as both women are wrecked on the steel bars! Nigel can’t bear to watch the replay! The fans declare, “This is Awesome!” Mariah rises up, but Anna flops out of the ring. Anna finds some BARBED WIRE! Anna looks to relive one of her highlights as she wraps the wire around her arm! Anna stalks Mariah, and has the BARBED WIRE QUEENSLAYER on!!! Mariah suffers and the fans say Anna is sick! Anna doesn’t care, she wants to be champion! Mariah fades, but she uses HAIR SPRAY IN THE EYES!! Mariah is free, and she reels Anna in, STORM ZERO on a chair!! Cover, Mariah wins!!

Winner: Mariah May, by pinfall (still AEW Women’s World Champion)

Taya is upset but Deonna says it’s alright. Anna and Mariah pushed each other to their limits, but also to some dark places. The Glamour is still atop the AEW Women’s Division, and here comes Mina! Best friends get to celebrate Mariah’s victory, and then Mariah KICKS ANna in the side! Mina says no, Mariah, you already did enough! Mariah accepts that, and BREAKING NEWS from Tony Khan: Now that Mariah has retained her title, she and Mina will have their championship champagne celebration for Full Gear! Will no one ever stop Mariah’s reign of glamour?

Jon Moxley speaks.

The Maniac is with Marina Shafir in the parking lot as he says, “I’ve underestimated Orange Cassidy. I’ve pushed him in the ring before, but this sport’s about so much more than what goes on between the ropes. I thought when I broke Chuck Taylor’s neck, one of two things would happen: Either he would turn into a shaky puddle of tears, and I’d walk right over him; or he’d be backed into a corner and he’s snap back, bringing the animal out of Orange Cassidy. Neither of those two things happened, and now I see it for the first time. I don’t think he even went to the hospital with Chuck Taylor.

“He acts like he’s so sad, and that young Wheeler’s traveled down a path he doesn’t approve of, but he doesn’t care. He’s full of it. Now I see it for the first time. I can’t believe I didn’t see it before. Orange Cassidy is a snake. Cold-blooded, reptilian, unnerved. The test will be this Wednesday, when you face your beloved former student who you claim to care about. Will you strike with venomous intent? Or will you keep it clean? Cold-blooded opponent, that is a different challenge entirely, this is gonna be harder than I thought. But man, I wish I was cold-blooded. But I’m not. No. I feel everything.

“Not just the weight of the AEW World Championship, but I feel the weight of the last five years. I feel the weight of the dreams and aspirations of every single wrestler who walks through these doors. I feel the weight of everybody’s mistakes and broken promises. I feel the weight of every single AEW fan who buys a ticket and pays for parking, and takes off work, and gives us their hard-earned money, and time, and energy, because AEW is something they believe in! What AEW could be! You don’t like the way I do things? November 23rd, you’re gonna have a chance.

“Lop my head off. Let it hit the dirt and roll at your feet. Reach down and pick up that crown, put it on your head. See if you like how it feels. At Full Gear, I smear Orange Cassidy’s blood on our flag, and I plant it in the ground so hard, it will never get moved. You wanna ride with me? You wanna ride in MY AEW? We ride into battle every single day to grab pro-wrestling by the balls, and you better be ready to die on your shield every single day! And if you’re not, get out. Or you will get taken out.” The Maniac has issued his ultimatum, will Freshly Squeezed heed it?

AEW Collision wraps with the November to Remember music video.

Set to November Rain by Guns ‘n’ Roses, we look back even as far as the last time Jon Moxley and Orange Cassidy feuded, which included their battle over the AEW International Championship at Full Gear 2023. There are also highlights to hype up the TNT Championship match of Jack Perry VS Daniel Garcia, and the long-awaited grudge match between Jay White and Hangman Page. Who will truly make this a November to Remember when they stand tall in the November rain?

My Thoughts:

A great Collision, and I forgot that this counts as the go-home Collision with Full Gear next week. The music video recap package to end the show is really well done, and makes a good ending moment, but then it makes other promos a little redundant. Honestly, why not wait to use this as the cold open to Full Gear next Saturday? This would be an awesome PPV opening video. And good closing promo from Moxley, with good spin on Cassidy’s aloof nature. Maybe Cassidy’s cold, or maybe he’s in control of his emotions. I suppose Cassidy VS Yuta on Dynamite will give some of that away.

Great stuff with the TNT Championship story. Garcia VS Johnny was a really good match, even with MXM getting involved. Perry abducting Menard in an attempt to tow him behind the bus was wild, but I like how Garcia turned the tables on Perry. I kinda wish we got a little more of their “joyride” through Albany and New York, but maybe we get more of that on Dynamite. Either way, it feels like Garcia already has the “standing tall” part of the go-home math, meaning he loses at Full Gear. Maybe Perry will cheat his way out of the match so that Garcia can still be strong in defeat.

Really good match from Shelton and Komander but of course Shelton won. Good promo from Hurt Syndicate with The Acclaimed to keep up the recruit tease, and very good match from Acclaimed VS LFI. Good win for The Acclaimed, and you can bet that the Fatal 4 Way will be the straw that breaks the camel’s back. Caster was even distancing himself in his own way here, with not wanting to scissor finger before the match and other little details. Caster can turn on Bowens and join the Hurt Syndicate to start on a singles championship story with them. Lio Rush likely will, too, given his promo.

Very good promo from Conglomeration to hype up Thanksgiving Eve and the ROH World Championship match of Ishii VS Jericho. Still doesn’t feel like Jericho’s losing, though, as he really only just got the title and there’s still this idea of Jericho being responsible for ROH getting a TV deal. Y’know, the same way he’s kayfabe responsible for Collision happening so that he could be on another show separate from… Whoever he was feuding with back then. Very good promo from Roddy to call out MJF, though he literally says he’ll talk more on Dynamite so what was the point of tonight? Just filling time?

Great match for Hobbs to get back on a winning track in singles action, and the “All Star 8 Man” on Wednesday will be great stuff. I feel like Brian Cage or Lance Archer takes the loss in that match, giving momentum to Ricochet and Ospreay going into each of the Full Gear grudge matches. With that, Ricochet maybe pulls off the International Championship win, but Ospreay probably does not win because of Don Callis Family cheating. As for Hobbs himself, The Continental Classic is coming, maybe he gets in on that and really dominates. Hobbs and Okada would be a lot of fun to see, I kinda hope we get that.

Great opener from Mina VS Harley as Harley continues to build her in-ring skill and impress. I like Mina kinda dodging the question about titles here in AEW, because she doesn’t wanna give away that she wants THE AEW Women’s World Championship. Mariah VS Anna was a great main event, they really busted out some good stuff. Mariah using the hair spray was a very clever way to turn things around and help her win. Mariah and Mina having their celebration on Full Gear, I feel like that’s the moment things go sideways in this friendship.

My Score: 8.8/10

Hikaru Shida VS Leila Grey!

The Shining Samurai continues her comeback, looking to carve a path back to a championship. But the Top Flight Attendant only just called out the ROH Women’s World Champion, Athena, last night on ROH TV. Will Leila be flying high towards her Proving Grounds match with The Fallen Goddess? Or will Shida use Leila as just another tune-up?

The bell rings, the two circle, and the fans rally up. The two tie up, Leila wrenches and wristlocks to YANK the arm. Leila keeps on the wristlock but Shida handsprings and wrenches back. Shida hammerlocks, headlocks, but Leila fires body shots. Leila powers up and out, but Shida runs Leila over! The fans fire up, and things keep moving. Shida rolls over Leila’s dropdown, then bypasses Leila. Leila stops the hip toss to fire body shots and knees! Leila goes to run but Shida reels her in. Shida lifts with the waistlock, and she swings Leila around, before the SLAM! The fans fire up with Shida and she goes outside.

Shida brings Leila to the apron, CLUBS her, then lines up a shot. Shida runs in to KNEE LIFT! The fans fire up again and Shida hurries back in. Shida brings Leila up, fireman’s carries, but Leila flails with forearms and elbows. Leila sunset flips, TWO! Leila ROCKS Shida, UPPERCUTS, then kicks low. Leila KICKS high, then kicks a leg out, to run and SHOTGUN! Shida tumbles, Leila covers, TWO! Shida stays in this but Leila stays on her. Leila bumps Shida off buckles, then she runs Shida side to side to bump off more buckles. Leila CHOPS and the fans “WOO~!” Leila smiles and puts some stank on the CHOP!

Leila swings but Shida dodges the third chop, to ROCK Leila! Shida whips, Leila reverses, and Leila SHINING WIZARDS in the corner! Then BULLDOG! Cover, TWO! Shida is tougher than that but Leila stalks her. The fans rally up, Leila brings Shida around, and Leila fires a forearm! Shida fires one in return! Leila fires again, but Shida ROCKS Leila! Leila ROCKS Shida! The fans rally up and Shida feeds off the energy. Shida fires forearm after forearm, but Leila takes a swing! Shida dodges, wrenches, and short arm LARIATS! The fans fire up and Shida is after Leila in a corner. Shida climbs up, and she rains down fists!

The fans fire up and count all the way to TEN! Shida roars then kicks Leila away. Shida MISSILE DROPKICKS! Down goes Leila! Shida hurries to cover, TWO! Leila stays in this but Shida takes aim. KATA- NO, Leila deflects! Roll up, TWO!! Shida is up, blocks a boot, and swings, but into a full nelson! Shida wrenches out, BOOTS Leila’s lariat, then QUESTION MARK KICKS! Shida suplexes for the FALCON ARROW! Cover, Shida wins!

Winner: Hikaru Shida, by pinfall

Leila kicks at 3.1, that’s too little too late! Will Leila at least last ten minutes against Athena next week? Will Shida be the one poised for a title shot after Full Gear?

Backstage interview with Harley Cameron.

Renee Paquette is with the crazy Aussie, who keeps pawing at her, and brings up the match Harley’s made for Collision with Mina Shirakawa. Harley asks Renee, does she know what Mina has that Harley doesn’t? No, what is it? NOTHING!! Mina is beautiful, charismatic, and talented. But can she do THIS?! Harley brings out a guitar and starts to play! Harley was a musician, y’know. Oh, wait, there’s a string missing. Never mind, she’s professional! Harley starts adlibbing a Blues-esque song. There once was a little girl. And by “little,” Harley doesn’t mean young child, she means just small in stature.

Anyway, and a five, six, seven, eight! Renee stops Harley there, there’s no time. What?! No! FEEL THE WRATH OF HARLEY CAM- The cameras cut away back to ringside, but will Harley show Mina and the world everything she’s capable of tomorrow night on Collision?

Mark Briscoe VS Ariya Daivari w/ Mark Sterling!

While Chris Jericho keeps disrespecting the legacy of Jay Briscoe, it will be Tomohiro Ishii that handles him. Tonight, the Sussex County Chicken is to focus on himself and the Premier Athletes’ son of privilege. “Smart” Mark takes over introductions by saying Ariya Daivari is about to wrestle “literally the dumbest person in AEW.” Mark is so stupid, really. So please, show the world that Bridgeport is smarter than a Briscoe by reading what is right on the Premier Athletes’ brand new merch shirt: Athletes Rule. Daivari says when he says “Athletes,” the fans should say, “Rule!” and NOTHING ELSE! Got it!?

Okay, hands in. Ohhh… “ATHLETES!” “SUCK!!” Briscoe laughs because the only dumb Mark here is Mark Sterling. But will Briscoe prove that what matters in the ring is street smarts? Or can Daivari prove that Premier Athletes don’t suck?

The bell rings and Briscoe circles with Daivari. They tie up as fans rally, and Briscoe pushes Daivari back. Daivari turns things around to put Briscoe in a corner, and lets off as the ref counts. Daivari shouts, “ATHLETES!” but fans again shout “SUCK!!” Briscoe SHOVES Daivari down and the fans fire up. Briscoe and Daivari circle, tie up, and Briscoe headlocks. Daivari powers up and out, but Briscoe runs him over! The fans fire up and things keep moving. Daivari drops down, Briscoe slides under, and then Briscoe REDNECK KUNG-FU UPPERCUTS! And ROLLING ELBOWS! The fans fire up more while sterling protests.

Briscoe whips Daivari, then UPPERCUTS again! The fans fire up as Daivari goes to a corner. Briscoe storms up to bring Daivari around, for a suplex high and hard! Cover, TWO! Daivari is tougher than that so Briscoe shrugs it off. Briscoe fires hands, Daivari staggers around, but Briscoe CHOPS him in a corner! Briscoe then REDNECK CRANE KICKS! The fans fire up and Briscoe brings Daivari up, but Daivari JAWBREAKERS back! Daivari TOSSES Briscoe out, but the ref has Sterling stay back. Daivari goes out to get Briscoe, but Briscoe sends Daivari into railing! The fans fire up while Daivari writhes, and Briscoe stands him up.

Briscoe CHOPS Daivari, high-fives fans, then CHOPS Daivari again. Briscoe then brings Daivari around to SMACK off a chair! The fans fire up as Briscoe makes Daivari take a seat. Briscoe refreshes the count, then runs up to BOOT Daivari down! The fans fire up more, and Briscoe UPPERCUTS Daivari again. Daivari goes to more railing but Briscoe CHOPS him down again. Briscoe tosses a chair into the ring, HEADBUTTS Daivari, then slides into the ring. Briscoe sets up the chair and the fans fire up! Sterling panics as Briscoe builds speed, so Sterling snatches the chair away! The fans boo but Briscoe goes out after Sterling!

Sterling defends his innocence but Daivari CLUBS Briscoe! And hits a NECKBREAKER on the floor! “ATHLETES!” “SUCK!!” Well, clearly Sterling doesn’t learn, but Daivari is control as Rampage goes picture in picture.

Daivari drags Briscoe up and into the ring, then grabs the legs, so he can stomp Briscoe’s gut! Briscoe sputters his way to a corner but Daivari digs his boots in! The ref counts, Sterling cheers, but Daivari lets off. Daivari argues with the ref, so Sterling CHOKES Briscoe! The fans boo but Sterling gets away with it. Daivari whips Briscoe hard into a corner! Briscoe sits down, and Daivari stomps him some more! Daivari snapmares Briscoe, KNEES him in the back, then clamps on a neck wrench. The ref reprimands the fishhook in there, but Daivari shifts to a chinlock. Daivari grinds Briscoe down, but Briscoe endures.

Fans rally up and Briscoe fights to his feet. Rampage returns to single picture as Briscoe fires body shots! Briscoe fires forearms but Daivari knees low! Daivari CLAWS Briscoe’s face, puts him in a corner, then hoists him up top. The fans rally for “DEM BOYS! DEM BOYS!” but Daivari CHOPS Briscoe. Daivari climbs up, brings Briscoe up, but Briscoe fires body shots! Briscoe DECKS Daivari, the fans fire up, but Sterling springs into action! The ref reprimands, Sterling argues with him, and Daivari runs up! Briscoe leaps over Daivari, but Daivari dodges the boot! SLEEPER! The fans boo but Briscoe RAMS Daivari into a corner!

Daivari holds on but Briscoe RAMS him in again and again! Briscoe is finally free, but Daivari then hammerlocks! LION’S LARIAT! And then a wrench, spin, LION’S DDT! Cover, TWO!! Briscoe survives Daivari’s double down and the fans fire up! Daivari throws hands but Briscoe feeds off it! The fans fire up as Briscoe mans up! Daivari headlocks, Briscoe powers out, but Daivari RAMS Briscoe! Briscoe roars! Daivari runs and RAMS Briscoe again! And again! Then Daivari fires hands! But Briscoe blocks to ROCK Daivari! And ROCK him again! And again! REDNECK PALM STRIKES! Briscoe puts Daivari in a corner!

Briscoe rains down fists and the fans count to TEN! Briscoe hops down, the fans fire up, and Briscoe CLOBBERS Daivari! And CLOBBERS him again! Briscoe whips, Daivari reverses, but Briscoe FLYING FOREARMS! The fans fire up with Briscoe and he runs at the corner. LARIAT, and then FISHERMAN BUSTER! Cover, TWO!! Daivari survives but Briscoe calls his shot! Briscoe drags Daivari up, reels him in, but Daivari fights the underhooks! Daivari wrenches, dodges a lariat, and SUPERKICKS! Briscoe wobbles, but he eggs Daivari on! Daivari runs up, into a ROLLING DEATH VALLEY! Daivari is down and Briscoe climbs up!

Sterling distracts Briscoe, and Daivari has time to hit the ropes! That trips Briscoe up! Briscoe tumbles to the m at, and Daivari hauls Briscoe up. Wait, Daivari underhooks the arms?! That’s blasphemy! But Briscoe powers up and out with a backdrop! And now Briscoe brings Daivari in, only for Sterling to get on the apron! The ref reprimands, Briscoe warns Sterling, but it’s ROCKY ROMERO that YANKS Sterling down! Daivari whips Briscoe, Briscoe reverses to TOSS Daivari! Rocky gets Briscoe the chair! Briscoe sets it up, and he takes FLIGHT! Down goes Daivari & Sterling! Briscoe puts Daivari in, climbs up, FROGGY-BOW!! Cover, Briscoe wins!

Winner: Mark Briscoe, by pinfall

The Conglomeration comes through for each other again, and that helps Briscoe win! But Azucar has his own match tonight, will he be feeling even sweeter after taking on Komander?

Rocky Romero VS Komander w/ Alex Abrahantes!

Rampage returns and the bell rings. The fans rally as Azucar and Commander of the Skies circle, but Montel Vontavious Porter is watching backstage…? Who business could MVP and The Hurt Syndicate have here? Rocky and Komander tie up, Komander wrenches and wristlocks. Rocky rolls then DROPKICKS! Rocky gives some Latino Heat, then waits on Komander. The two reset, circle, and tie up again. Rocky waistlocks, SLAMS, then flips Komander, maybe a little too much. Rocky flips Komander over again but Komander kips up to arm-drag! Komander gives some Latino Heat of his own, and Rocky can’t help but smile.

The fans rally as Komander and Rocky feel things out. They knuckle lock, go shoulder to shoulder, and the fans cheer the Test of Strength. Rocky powers Komander back, then MONKEY FLIPS! Rocky rolls back but Komander blocks the mount to then go up and MONKEY FLIP back! It’s a double cover, TWO as both men bridge! The fans cheer this exchange, and the two roll to their feet. Komander kicks one knuckle lock apart to then go up and ARABIAN PRESS ARM-DRAG! Rocky is back up fast, and he hurdles, drops under, then hurdles again. Komander leaps over, keeps moving, and he springboards to FLYING ARM-DRAG!

Winner: Komander, by pinfall

MVP nods, maybe he saw things not even he expected out of this match. Will Komander prove he’s not just worthy of MVP’s attention but of AEW’s attention? And with it, perhaps a title opportunity?

Backstage interview with Anna Jay.

Lexy Nair is with The Queenslayer and notes her AEW Women’s World Championship match set for Collision tomorrow night. It is No Disqualifications, and if Anna wins, she is the NEW champion. But if she loses… Anna will never challenge Mariah May for the title again. Anna says it is worth that risk. It is worth seeing Mariah’s eyes bulging out of her head until she passes out. With no rules, Anna is capable of anything. But in steps Taya Valkyrie, applauding and saying yes, Anna is capable of anything. But so is Mariah. And Mina Shirakawa could be anywhere. Maybe Anna wants some extra insurance? And by the way, The Vendetta does accept cash.

Anna says she can handle her business, so Taya can mind her own. Taya tells Anna okay, okay. But Deonna Purrazzo sends her regards. Stay safe out there. Anna says no, she won’t. Will Anna finally be The Star of the Show when she tears down Mariah? Or will The Virtuosa & La Wera Loca have something to say about that?

Rush & The Beast Mortos w/ Dralistico VS Alex Price & Richard Holliday!

Just 24 hours ahead of their Collision with The Acclaimed, La Faccion Ingobernable’s two bulls are looking to stampede! Will they be more than ready for the Full Gear Contenders Series?

The teams sort out and Mortos starts against Price, and just CLBOBERS him at the bell! Mortos keeps moving, Price drops then jumps, but into a SNAP POWERSLAM! The fans fire up and Mortos SMACKS Price! Mortos whips Price, Price ducks ‘n’ dodges, then goes up and over! Price DROPKICKS, DROPKICKS, and fires up! But then Mortos POP-UP SAMOAN DROPS him! The fans fire up but Rush CHOPS! Rush pie faces Holliday but Holliday fires up! Only for Rush to whip him into a corner and SPLASH! Snapmare and basement DROPKICK! Holliday bails out but Rush pursues. Rush CHOPS, then throws Holliday into railing. Rush dribbles Holliday off the railing, rains down fists, but the ref counts. Rush says leave him alone, but the ref warns him. Rush stops, then he puts Holliday in the ring. Rush snarls and storms back into the ring. Mortos CHOKES Holliday, the ref reprimands, but this lets Dralistico throw Price into steel steps! Rush whips Holliday corner to corner hard!

Rush DECKS Holliday with a forearm, stomps away on him, and goes corner to corner! “If you mess with the bull…!” BULL’S HORNS! Cover, LFI wins!

Winners: Rush & The Beast Mortos, by pinfall

This probably could’ve been over soon, but LFI likes to play with their food. But will they be much more to the point against Max Caster & Anthony Bowens?

Backstage interview with MVP.

Lexy is with Montel Vontavious Porter and brings up how he’s been watching matches here and there. Is he scouting talent? Absolutely! And as he’s been getting the lay of the land here in AEW, MVP sees so many young and gifted athletes with so much untapped potential. Some of them need motivation. Some need perhaps better management. And some just need to be hurt, beaten down again and again, to their knees. Because only when you’ve broken a man down to his knees can you teach him to stand and put him on the path to success. MVP says Swerve Strickland is a perfect example. So much to learn and yet he just won’t listen.

That is arrogance. It is that arrogance that the fans love, but it is also Swerve’s greatest weakness. Swerve thinks that one man can beat three. That is arrogance. Swerve calls himself the most dangerous man in AEW. With Bobby Lashley and Shelton Benjamin around, that is arrogance. And arrogance, like pride, goeth before the fall. So MVP is paying attention to everything. For example, tonight, where MVP will be watching Ricochet in the main event. Oh, and that young luchador, Komander, what an impressive match. MVP likes that. And then tomorrow night on Collision, Shelton will find out exactly what Komander is made of, and what lessons he needs to learn.

The business plan has been set out, but will The Hurt Syndicate find the diamonds in the rough they are looking for? Or is it all fool’s gold compared to what they already have?

BREAKING NEWS for Collision!

On top of Shelton Benjamin VS Komander, and on top of the AEW Women’s World Championship No Disqualification match, Will Hobbs gets back into singles action as he takes on Bulk Bronson! With that All Star 8 Man Tag coming up, will going big be just the thing to power up the Powerhouse? Plus, relive the best of the last two weeks as the special AEW “November to Remember” music video debuts, set to Guns ‘n’ Roses’ hit song, November Rain!

Ricochet VS Dante Martin!

MVP just told the world he is watching this match, but surely so is The Don Callis Family. Will The One & Only show them something #OuttaThisWorld? Or will Angel Dorado remind us why he was the hottest high flyer not too long ago?

The bell rings and the fans rally up. Ricochet and Dante shake hands to show there is respect here. They circle, tie up, and Ricochet headlocks for a takeover. Dante headscissors but Ricochet moves around, rolls Dante, then floats to a headlock. Dante fights back up, but Ricochet wrenches to wristlock. Dante goes for ropes but Ricochet keeps him back. Ricochet continues to keep Dante from the ropes, so Dante just front flips on his own! Dante arm-drags free and the fans fire up! Dante and Ricochet hurry to their feet, but Dante knees low! Dante whips but Ricochet blocks and reels Dante in for a back suplex, only for Dante to land on his feet!

Dante bobs ‘n’ weaves, shoves Ricochet, but Ricochet avoids the dropkick! Jackknife bridge, TWO as Dante bridges up! Dante spins Ricochet, but Ricochet turns that to a backslide! TWO, and Ricochet whips. Dante leaps for a sunset flip! Ricochet stays up, tucks Dante for a sunset flip of his own, TWO! Dante swings, Ricochet dodges and rolls back to RANA, but both men get up! Ricochet DROPKICKS Dante down and the fans fire up! We get a shot of MVP once again liking what he sees. Dante goes to a corner, Ricochet runs up, but Dante slips out! Ricochet hits buckles, then Dante goes up, around, and ROCKS Ricochet!

Dante aims but Ricochet runs up. Dante jumps over as Ricochet slides out, and then Dante ASAI MOONSAULTS! Ricochet avoids it, Dante lands on his feet, and now Ricochet goes up a corner to MOONSAULT! Dante dodges and he JUMP KNEES! Ricochet sputters as he leans against the apron, and Dante slides in. Dante keeps moving, but Ricochet springboards! Dante ducks under, runs at Ricochet, but Ricochet goes up and over! Dante puts Ricochet on the apron but Ricochet ENZIGIRIS! Ricochet springboards again, FLYING LARIAT! Cover, TWO! Dante survives and the fans fire up as Rampage goes picture in picture.

Dante rolls to the apron but Ricochet goes right after him. Ricochet kicks Dante to the floor, then hops down to fetch him. Ricochet CHOPS Dante, ROCKS him, and Dante staggers around the way. Ricochet fires up the fans, but Dante DAREDEVIL DROPKICKS Ricochet through the corner! Now it’s Dante firing up the fans as he goes after Ricochet. Dante brings Ricochet around to CHOP against the desk! Dante puts Ricochet in the ring, fires back up, and he hurries in, only for Ricochet to CLOBBER him. Ricochet drops another elbow, and another! Dante flounders but Ricochet drags him up. Ricochet CHOPS Dante to a corner.

Ricochet UPPERCUTS Dante, then whips corner to corner. Dante hits buckles so hard, that he tumbles up and over, then to the floor! Ricochet lets the ring count climb a bit, and Dante stirs at 4 of 10. Dante rises, Ricochet eggs him on a bit, but Dante’s still down at 7 of 10. Dante stands at 8 and rolls in, only for Ricochet to drop knees! Ricochet rains down some fists, but the ref reprimands about closes fists. Ricochet swears he was using palm strikes. Ricochet drags Dante up, snapmares, and KICKS him in the back! Ricochet clamps on with a chinlock, and even traps an arm. Ricochet now shifts into a grounded cobra twist!

Dante endures, even as Ricochet throws punches into the ribs. Dante fights, rises up, and fires body shots! Ricochet CHOPS in return! Ricochet then scoops and SLAMS Dante, and Rampage returns to single picture as he climbs a corner. The fans fire up as Ricochet reaches the top, but Dante stands! Ricochet jumps over Dante, but Dante BOOTS him! Dante fires a flurry of forearms but Ricochet shoves him back. Ricochet runs up, Dante again slips to the outside, and Dante ROCKS Ricochet again. Dante springboards up and around for a CARTWHEEL CROSSBODY! Cover, TWO!! Ricochet survives, he runs at Dante, but Dante goes up and over!

Ricochet tumbles out as Dante then builds speed, and Dante DIVES! Direct hit at the ramp but Dante hurries to put Ricochet in. Springboard and MAMBA SPLASH! Cover, TWO!! Ricochet survives and the fans rally up again. Dante waits on Ricochet to rise up, then he half nelsons. Lift and- NO, Ricochet slips free to dragon sleeper! VERTI- NO, Dante slips free! Ricochet arm-drags Dante away, then catches him, Wrench and NORTHERN LIGHTS! Roll through, deadlift, BRAINBUSTER! Ricochet roars while fans are torn, RUNNING SHOOTING STAR! Cover, TWO!! Dante survives and Ricochet is surprised!

MVP is himself a bit frustrated, but Ricochet fireman’s carries. Dante fires elbows, slips free, and goes to run, but Ricochet SUPERKICKS! Ricochet runs up, into an ELBOW! Dante uses the same up and over, only to get caught! BLUE THUNDER BOMB! Cover, TWO!! Dante survives and Ricochet snarls. The fans fire up and Ricochet brings Dante up. Ricochet has the dragon sleeper, but Dante fires knees! Dante drops, victory rolls, TWO!! Ricochet catches Dante for a deadlift SAIDO!! The fans fire up as Ricochet takes aim! BANG and SPIRIT GUN!! Cover, Ricochet wins!

Winner: Ricochet, by pinfall

MVP nods, very impressed by The One & Only Ricochet. Ricochet’s arsenal certainly continues to grow, but he still shows respect to Dante. Will this momentum help Ricochet’s team take down The Don Callis Family this Wednesday Night Dynamite?

My Thoughts:

A very good Rampage, even with it being a five match night. Granted, it was clear Shida was going to win her match and LFI were going to win theirs. Well, so was Briscoe, but it was good stuff with Daivari getting a good showing and Rocky cancelling out Sterling so Briscoe would win. Great match from Rocky and Komander, too, and great win for Komander. Though, as MVP plugged in his promo, Komander is certainly losing to Shelton Benjamin, but I do appreciate the idea that anyone just floating around in the midcard could end up Hurt Syndicate material.

Ricochet VS Dante was a great main event, Ricochet of course won, but between being on Team Ospreay for Dynamite and Hurt Syndicate not leaving him alone, there are all kinds of possibilities for Ricochet. And great promos to hype up the two women’s matches we’re getting on Collision. That’s right, we’re getting two women’s matches! Harley continues to be hilarious, and I like this gag that she never has enough time to get her full madness out. Very good promo from Anna with Taya making a surprise appearance. Given Mariah is more than likely to win tomorrow night, Anna needs something outside of titles so I suppose a feud with The Vendetta could be something. Maybe it’s also a way to bring Tay Conti/Tay Melo back into story since it’d be a tag team feud?

My Score: 8.7/10
