HPW has made it through another year, and this year’s HyruleMania could be the biggest Celebration of Greatness yet! Who will champion the New Year?

• HPW Death Mountain Championship Ladder Match: Midna VS Yunobo VS Dinolfos VS Thunderbird VS Grim Creeper VS Sharky Shipwreck VS Zelda; Thunderbird wins and becomes the new HPW Death Mountain Champion.
• HPW Goddess Championship: Midna VS Ruto; Ruto wins and becomes the new HPW Goddess Champion.
• HPW Trios Championships: The UnderWorld Order w/ Ted Beedle Ossi VS Arrow Club; Arrow Club wins and become the new HPW Trios Champions.
• HPW Termina Championship: Ganon VS Igos du Ikana; Ganon wins and retains the title.
• Million Rupee Championship: Hollywood ReDead w/ The Poe Sisters VS Aveil w/ The Gerudo Sisterhood; ReDead wins and retains the title.

Hyrule Pro-Wrestling has many champions across its various divisions. And to be granted the title of ‘champion,’ a wrestler or wrestlers must prove themselves worthy through combat, often with those already in possession of the title ‘champion.’ Though, not all achieve this feat in an honorable manner.” Clips of the UnderWorld Order cheating their way to victories play as a highlight reel.

“Furthermore,” Fi continues, “there is the transitive verb form of champion. To champion something is to defend, uphold, support or advocate something. Virtues, philosophies, causes, movements, all are able to championed by those who wish to take up the fight. So then, what do the champions of HPW champion?” Clips of the various stars featured on tonight’s card play. The Gerudo Sisterhood being inspirations to their people. Yunobo and Zelda honoring their family legacies. The Termina Championship representing an entire region and wrestling style. Link and most others showing sportsmanship, while the rest fight for themselves.

“So now,” Fi continues again, “as the year draws to a close…. As the Celebration of Greatness begins again… As champions and challengers fight to establish who is truly worthy of the title, ‘champion,’ which virtues, which philosophies, which causes, which movements, which sheer forces of will will win out? Who will be the champions of HyruleMania?”

HPW Death Mountain Championship Ladder Match: Midna VS Yunobo VS Dinolfos VS Thunderbird VS Grim Creeper VS Sharky Shipwreck VS Zelda!

Seven stars have aligned to give us the biggest Ladder Match in HPW history! The Twilight Princess has had this belt since last year, will she defy the curse of Death Mountain to make it past that 365 day mark? Or will another ascend and bring down the gold?

Speaking of, it seems everyone’s customized their ring gear to have silver and gold highlights, making this for a very shiny showdown. The introductions are made, the belt is raised high above, and we see if seven is someone’s lucky number!

The bell rings and everyone bails out to grab ladders! Dinolfos DECKS Yunobo then takes the ladder he went for. Dinolfos, Midna and Sharky get in with ladders of varying sizes. Sharky’s the shortest but he’s got the biggest! And he RAMS Midna out of the way! Dinolfos kicks Sharky’s ladder into him and Sharky falls back. Dinolfos then uses his short ladder to RAM Grim Creeper and Thunderbird off the apron. Dinolfos sets his short ladder up, but then realizes it is too short, even for him. Fans laugh as Dinolfos shoves it over in frustration.

Zelda runs in and dropkicks Dinolfos! Dinolfos staggers to a corner, Zelda runs in to DROPKICK him again! Zelda grabs the short ladder, and RAMS it into Dinolfos! Zelda uses the ladder to keep Dinolfos stuck, and Thunderbird runs in and runs up the ladder like a ramp to KNEE Dinolfos! Dinolfos sits down in the corner, Zelda wedges the ladder into him again, and Sharky comes back to basement dropkick the ladder into Dinolfos! Fans fire up while Dinolfos sputters and falls out of the ring. Zelda then CHOPS Sharky, Thunderbird kicks Zelda, and Sharky ROCKS Thunderbird with a forearm!

Sharky whips Thunderbird but Thunderbird reverses, only for Grim to trip Sharky and drag him out. Zelda clinches Thunderbird for a SIDE LEG SWEEP! Zelda shifts around to then SMASH Thunderbird’s knee into the mat. Grim runs in, but Zelda KICKS him down! Yunobo is back and he POUNCES Zelda! Fans are torn but Yunobo stomps Grim out of the ring. Yunobo grabs the ladder used on Dinolfos, stands it up, but is wary as he steps on a rung. The rung holds, so Yunobo tentatively steps up to the next one. But speaking of Dinolfos, he returns with a chair! Dinolfos SMACKS Yunobo on the back!

Yunobo slumps off the ladder, Dinolfos SMACKS him again! And again! Dinolfos takes the ladder, folds it back up and puts it in a corner. Dinolfos storms up on Yunobo, whips, but Yunobo reverses! Dinolfos stops himself from hitting the ladder, Yunobo runs in, but Dinolfos SHOVES the ladder into him!! Yunobo staggers, Dinolfos spins to CYCLONE BOOT! Yunobo falls out of the ring and Dinolfos roars but the fans boo. Thunderbird is back up to SOBAT! Front kick! ENZIGURI! Dinolfos wobbles, Thunderbird runs and springboards, QUEBRADA! Grim POSTS Yunobo! Thunderbird grabs the ladder and sets it up now.

Thunderbird climbs, but Sharky and Grim both get in. Sharky drags Thunderbird down but Grim climbs the other side! Sharky ROCKS Thunderbird, starts his own climb, but Midna’s back in! Midna easily drags Grim back down, and CHOPS him! Fans “WOO~” while Midna CHOPS Grim again! Zelda slips in and drags Sharky off the ladder. Zelda and Midna SMACK Sharky and Grim off the rungs, then they both CHOP Sharky and Grim down! Zelda and Midna turn to the ladder, but see each other through the rungs. The fans fire up as they stare down. Zelda and Midna both push the ladder aside, and they just start throwing hands!

The fans are thunderous as Zelda and Midna are fast and furious, neither one backing down! They move to the one side, Midna gets the edge and she stomps away on Zelda against ropes. Fans are torn, but Grim runs up from behind to CLUB Midna! Midna ROCKS Grim, then reels him in. Grim fights the back suplex and throws down elbow after elbow. Grim runs, but Zelda SHOTGUNS Grim down! Midna hits TWILIGHT SLEEP on Zelda!! Midna goes to get the ladder back, but Dinolfos is back and BOOTS Midna down! Dinolfos takes the ladder, leans it against ropes and then drags Midna up. CHOKE SLAM onto the ladder!

Fans boo while Midna writhes and flounders away. Thunderbird springboards and CROSSBODIES, but Dinolfos catches him! Dinolfos pops Thunderbird into a fireman’s carry, and DEATH VALLEY DRIVER onto the ladder! Thunderbird also writhes and flounders away, but Sharky returns with a second ladder! Sharky RAMS Dinolfos and Dinolfos falls back onto his propped-up ladder. Sharky then stands his ladder up, climbs up, but he isn’t aiming for the title? Sharky TRUST FALLS onto Dinolfos to sandwich him on the ladder! Dinolfos sputters as he flops off the ladder, and Sharky goes back to climbing his ladder.

Grim slides in, picks up Dinolfos’ ladder and JAMS Sharky in the leg! Grim then wedges Dinolfos’ ladder into the rungs of Sharky’s ladder and makes a bridge to the ropes. Grim drags Sharky onto the bridge, throws down hands to keep him there, then goes to the apron. Grim hesitates, fans duel between “DO IT! DO IT!” and “NO! NO! NO!” Grim says screw it and steps back inside. The one side of the crowd is disappointed and the other side laughs. Grim drags Sharky to be draping off the ladder, DRAPING NECKBREAKER! Grim then gets up on his ladder bridge and climbs the main ladder. Fans boo Grim, but Yunobo is back!

Yunobo hurries to use the bridge ladder like a handle to turn the main ladder! Grim is confused and holds on tight! Yunobo has turned things 180 degree, but Grim says he’s still in the same place! Yunobo then throws a body shot! Grim doubles over, Yunobo gets up on the ladder bridge, and he fireman’s carries Grim! It’s a bit wobbly given Yunobo’s weight, fans chant “PLEASE DON’T DIE! PLEASE DON’T DIE!” Yunobo stands up to then GORON DROP on the ladder bridge! Fans fire up while Grim sputters and coughs! But then Sharky shoves another ladder in and makes another ladder bridge on the other side!

Sharky gets up on his bridge, climbs up his side, and Yunobo does his best to climb from the other. But then Dinolfos is back, with a fourth ladder! And the tallest of them all!! Dinolfos stands it up, climbs up, and he choke grips Yunobo! Yunobo tries to fight free, but Dinolfos still CHOKE SLAMS Yunobo onto the ladder bridge! It shakes the whole structure and it leans over! This cases Sharky to fall off! Dinolfos pulls the ladder bridges away, gets them out of the ring, then pushes the standing ladder as far to the side as he can before bringing his tall ladder to center. But then Thunderbird runs in, tilt-o-whirls and RANAS Dinolfos into the shorter ladder!

Dinolfos sputters from hitting face first, and Midna returns to SPEAR Dinolfos down!! The fans fire up, Thunderbird aims but Midna avoids his superkick to BOOT him down! Zelda slides in from the other side and goes right up the ladder! Midna hurries to stop her, but Zelda kicks back. Zelda gets loose, but Midna CHOPS a leg! Zelda ends up with a Charlie horse, and Midna pushes Zelda’s legs through the rungs! Zelda ends up in a Tree of Woe on the ladder! Midna stomps away on Zelda, then climbs up over her. But Zelda sits up and grabs Midna’s legs to anchor her! Midna kicks but can’t get loose! Zelda drags Midna down for a SPIDER GERMAN SUPLEX!!

Zelda is still in the rungs so she sits back up and hurries to climb. She’s almost at the top, but then Thunderbird springboards onto the other ladder, and uses it to transfer to the tallest ladder! Fans fire up while the ladders are wobbly! Things settle down and Thunderbird hurries to get ahead of Zelda! Zelda hurries and grabs at Thunderbird! They hand fight and Zelda grabs Thunderbird’s mask! She pulls on the mask, but Thunderbird unties it?! The mask comes off and Zelda falls off the ladder! Wait, is that TEBA?! From last year’s Dark Horse Stampede and the such? Teba/Thunderbird climbs up and grabs the belt! TEBA/THUNDERBIRD WINS!!

Winner: Thunderbird(?), by pinfall (NEW HPW Death Mountain Champion)

The curse of Death Mountain continues as HyruleMania ushers in a new reign! But is Thunderbird really Teba? Or just a brother with a really close resemblance? Either way, Midna is furious about losing this belt after having it for just shy of a year, and she’s not even done for the night! She still has her Goddess Championship to defend against- Wait! Speaking of Ruto, she’s making her entrance NOW! She’s not giving Midna a moment to rest! Will the Twilight Princess strike out on this double header?

HPW Goddess Championship: Midna VS Ruto!

The Zora Princess smirks at the Twilight Princess as they stare down. They’ve rarely crossed paths, but this could be the most crucial encounter ever! Will Ruto make Midna regret trolling her? Or will Midna make it out of here still holding onto one belt?

The introductions are made, this belt is raised, and we see who is the superior princess!

The bell rings and fans rally for Midna as she still stares Ruto down. The two then circle, tie up, and Ruto powers Midna back to a corner. The ref counts, Ruto lets off, but then Ruto kicks low! The ref reprimands, Ruto “apologizes” and backs off. Midna gets up, wincing and clutching her back. Fans rally for Midna as she stretches and resets with Ruto. They circle, feel things out, and then tie up. Ruto powers Midna back again but Midna turns things around. Midna has Ruto in a corner now, the ref counts, and Midna lets off, and she blocks Ruto’s kick! Midna puts that leg in the ropes then kicks the ropes to jam up the leg!

Fans rally, the ref reprimands, but Midna brings Ruto around to throw a forearm. Ruto throws a forearm back, so Midna throws another! The fans rally as the shots go back and forth! Midna gets the edge, then whips. Ruto reverses, but then Midna BOOTS her down! Fans fire up with Midna, and she grabs at Ruto’s legs. Ruto scrambles around, reaches out, ROPEBREAK! Midna lets off in frustration and eggs Ruto on. Ruto frowns and storms up on Midna, but Midna shoots around behind to waistlock. Ruto fights the lift, pries at the hold, and wrenches free to a wristlock. Midna slips under and wrenches to a wristlock back.

Ruto rolls, reaches up and kicks Midna in the face! Midna staggers, Ruto waistlocks and goes to ropes, O’Conner Roll! TWO, but Ruto rebounds off ropes. Midna ducks the Penalty Kick, rolls Ruto up, TWO! Midna and Ruto hurry up to their feet, Ruto ROCKS Midna with a forearm! Ruto shoves Midna into ropes then ROCKS her in the back! Midna yelps in pain as she falls to her knees! Ruto stomps Midna, focusing on the lower back. Ruto then kicks Midna around, taunting her. Midna scowls as Ruto scuffs her, and the fans rally up. Ruto scuffs Midna again, but Midna stands up and CHOPS! “WOO~!”

Midna CHOPS and CHOPS and CHOPS and the fans fire up! Midna whips Ruto to a corner, runs in, but Ruto avoids the splash! Midna hits buckles and staggers back, Ruto runs up to get up on the corner, and then FLYING SUNSET FLIP! TWO and the fans fire up! Ruto is furious and she aims while Midna hobbles back up. Ruto runs in, but Midna sidesteps and sends Ruto into buckles! Ruto staggers back now, into Midna’s scoop and FALL AWAY SLAM! The fans fire up again while both women are down! Midna then kips up! Fans fire up even more, but Midna has to grit her teeth from the pain in her back.

Midna storms up on Ruto, grabs a leg, and Midna drags her away from the ropes! Midna steps through, but Ruto drags her into a cradle! TWO, and Ruto kicks, but Midna blocks it! Midna CLUBS the leg, CHOPS Ruto off her feet, and then grabs that leg to drop knees on the knee! Ruto clutches her leg, but Midna’s back holds her back. Midna grabs the leg again, steps through, and has the FIGURE FOUR! Ruto freaks out and flails while the fans fire up! Midna tries to bridge up, but her back isn’t allowing it! Ruto scratches and claws, fights her way around, dragging Midna with her, but Midna powers through the pain to bridge, for the FIGURE EIGHT!!

The fans are thunderous as Ruto flails, but wait, who’s jumping the rails? Is that Torbevito? Why’s Torbevito here?! What’s he got to do with this match? Torbevito gets on the apron, the ref tells him to go away, BUT RUTO’S TAPPING!! Ruto’s giving up but the ref isn’t seeing it!! Fans boo and Midna lets off, her back unable to maintain the bridge! Midna glares at Torbevito and storms up on him, but Torbevito scurries away. Torbevito aims his air bow and shoots a pretend arrow. Midna snarls, turns around, into the ROUNDHOUSE! Ruto then reels Midna in, hooks a leg, FISHERMAN BUSTER into a cradle!! Cover, RUTO WINS!!!

Winner: Ruto, by pinfall (NEW HPW Goddess Champion)

This is a travesty! Torbevito costs Midna against Ruto!! And for what? What does Torbevito have against Midna?! Wait, Torbevito brings out… an Arrow Club shirt?! And Ruto accepts it!? Ruto is Arrow Club now?!? And that means Ruto brings this title right to the club! Midna has lost it all right at the end of the year, what is she to do in 2024?

HPW Trios Championships: The UnderWorld Order w/ Ted Beedle Ossi VS Arrow Club!

The opening video did point out how Death Sword, Gomess & Scaldera gained and retained these titles, but they don’t care about that criticism! They’ll do it again if it means staying on top! But now, the Young Ducks are teaming with the Zora Rock ‘n’ Rolla for a fresh formation! Will Mack, Rick & Fin Balure turn the Celebration of Greatness into a Super Quack Party? Or will the uWo still have plenty of tricks up their proverbial sleeves?

The introductions are made, the belts are raised, and we see who is really just too sweet!

The trios stare down and referee Maron Ron Ron wants them to sort out. Fans fire up while the trios talk trash to each other, and then they all get face to face. And then the brawl is on! The fans fire up as Mack has Gomess, Rick has Death Sword and Fin has Scaldera! But the uWo then turns things around, Gomess & Death Sword TOSS the Quacksons out while Scaldera throws forearms over and over in the corner! The bell finally rings to get this on record as Gomess & Death Sword send the Quacksons into railing! Maron counts at Scaldera, Scaldera lets off at 4, and he roars and storms around while fans boo.

Scaldera drags Fin up, puts him in the uWo corner, then stomps a mudhole. Beedle’s excited but Maron counts, Scaldera tags Death Sword, and now Death Sword stomps away on Fin. Maron counts, Death Sword drags Fin up and DECKS him with a right hand. Fin shakes out the stars as he sits up, but Death Sword stomps him to ropes. Death Sword CHOKES Fin on the bottom rope with a boot, but lets off as Maron counts 4. Death Sword distracts Maron and Scaldera KICKS Fin from the ropes! Fans boo but Scaldera gets away with it. Death Sword drags Fin up, bumps him off buckles, then tags in Gomess.

Gomess CHOPS Fin, then stomps him. Then he CHOPS Fin again, then stomps him again! Gomess even CHOPS Fin as he starts to sit down in the corner! Gomess digs his boots in, the fans boo more and Maron counts. Gomess lets off, tags back to Death Sword, and Gomess drags Fin by his legs. The wrestling reapers coordinate, Gomess CATAPULTS Fin into Death Sword’s SPINEBUSTER! Cover, TWO! The Ducks were also at the ready, but Beedle tells them to back off. Maron also reprimands, the Ducks fall back, and Death Sword drags Fin back to the uWo corner. Death Sword stands on Fin’s leg while he tags Scaldera.

Scaldera stomps away on Fin while Death Sword steps out. The fans boo more, Scaldera soaks it up, then he drags Fin up. Scaldera pushes Fin to the open corner, then climbs up to rain down fists! Fans boo, and Scaldera only goes to nine before he BITES Fin on the face! Maron reprimands and counts while the Ducks protest, and the fans tell Scaldera he’s sick. Scaldera stops biting, Fin checks his face, but then Scaldera RAMS into Fin! Scaldera digs his shoulder in, Maron counts again, and Scaldera lets off. Scaldera whips corner to corner hard and Fin bounces off buckles! Scaldera drags Fin up and whips him corner to corner again.

Scaldera runs in, and SPLASHES! Scaldera then whips corner to corner the other way, runs in again, but Fin goes up and out! Scaldera hits buckles, then Fin GAMANGIRIS! Fin hurries for his corner, but Scaldera then BLASTS him off the apron! Fans boo, Scaldera goes out after Fin and Maron keeps the Ducks back. Scaldera taunts the Ducks as he drags Fin away. Scaldera whips Fin hard into railing! Fans boo as Scaldera storms over. Scaldera brings Fin up, whips him again, but Fin reverses! Scaldera hits railing while Fin hurries inside! Fans fire up but Gomess and Death Sword hurry in! Gomess anchors Fin while Death Sword BLASTS Rick!

Mack swings but can’t reach Death Sword as he gets away. Maron reprimands the uWo but they don’t care. Gomess lets Fin go while Scaldera hobbles over. Scaldera rolls into the ring, clamps onto Fin, and drags Fin into a chinlock. Scaldera has Fin looking at Mack as he digs a knee into Fin’s back. Fans boo, Scaldera taunts Mack, but Fin endures. Fin pries at the chinlock, powers up and gets to his feet. Fans fire up, Fin throws body shots, but Scaldera CLUBS him down! Scaldera whips Fin to a corner, runs up, and then blocks a boot. But then Fin uses that to reel Scaldera in and KNEE Scaldera away! Hot tag to Mack!

The fans fire up as Mack dodges Scaldera, BLASTS Gomess off the apron, then tells Death Sword to “SUCK IT!” Scaldera runs back in, Mack sends him into Death Sword! Scaldera then staggers into a NORTHERN LIGHTS! Mack rolls through and starts up the Polar Express! Fans fire up as Mack hits Northern Lights after Northern Lights! Gomess returns and runs in, but Mack catches him for a DOUBLE NORTHERN LIGHTS! Fans fire up with Mack, and he takes aim at Scaldera. SUPER- NO, Scaldera blocks it! And hands the leg off to Gomess so Scaldera can then KICK the leg! Mack hobbles, Gomess & Scaldera DOUBLE BACK SUPLEX!

Maron reprimands but the uWo brushes her off again. Scaldera covers, TWO! Scaldera snarls and then clamps onto Mack with a chinlock. Now Mack endures as Scaldera squeezes tight and leans on the hold. The fans rally up and Mack fights up. Mack throws elbows, reaches out for his corner, but Scaldera throws him down by his head! Maron reprimands, Scaldera ignores her to drag Mack back. Tag to Death Sword and he stands Mack up. Death Sword shoves Mack at ropes, then ROCKS him in the back! Death Sword then shoves Mack to the corner, RAMS into him, and Gomess tags in. Gomess climbs up so he can CLUB away on Mack!

Fans boo, Maron reprimands, Death Sword and Gomess let off and Mack flops out of the ring. Scaldera tags back in to go after Mack. Scaldera whips Mack hard into railing! Cage soaks up the heat, puts Mack back in the ring and covers, TWO! Fans cheer, Scaldera is frustrated, and he drags Mack back into a chinlock. Mack endures and fights up again to throw body shots. Scaldera KNEES Mack low and shoves him to the uWo corner! Then he BLASTS Rick off the apron! Maron reprimands but Mack fights his way out of the uWo corner! Scaldera runs in but Mack sends him into Gomess, knocking Gomess off the apron!

Makc hurries, but Scaldera keeps him from Fin. Scaldera pulls Mack back, Mack SUPERKICKS Death Sword! But Scaldera SPLASHES Mack in the corner! Fans boo as Scaldera hoists Mack up top, CLUBS him on the back, then climbs up after him. Scaldera again soaks up heat, but Mack fires punches and elbows in return! Mack HEADBUTTS and knocks Scaldera down into the drop zone! Fans rally up and Mack adjusts, to CROSSBODY the reapers! Fans go nuts and Beedle is frekaing out while Mack hurries in. Mack dodges Scaldera, hot tag to Fin! The Zora Rock ‘n’ Rolla rallies on Scaldera with forearms! The fans fire up as Fin whips but Scaldera reverses.

Fin goes up and over, CHOPS, but Scaldera roars! Fin swings again, Scaldera gets around, GERMAN SUPLEX! But Fin lands on his feet! Gomess waistlocks Fin! Scaldera runs in but Fin BOOTS him away! Fin ELBOWS Gomess, then PELES him down! Fin dodges Scaldera, runs the ropes, SLINGBLADE! Cover, TWO! Scaldera staggers up while fans rally with Fin. Fin aims from the corner, but the reapers anchor him! So the Ducks DOUBLE DIVE to take the reapers out! Fans are thunderous as Fin runs in, but Scaldera scoops the Slingblade into a BLUE THUNDER BOMB! Cover, TWO!! Fans are still thunderous as Fin survives!

Scaldera hauls Fin up to the top rope. Scaldera climbs up while fans chant “Let’s Go, Fin! Let’s Go, Fin!” Beedle tells the fans to shut up! Scaldera fireman’s carries, but Fin flails and shifts to a SUPER SUNSET BOMB!! Fin drags himself up, Scaldera staggers to his feet, into DOUBLE SUPERKICKS! Gomess runs in, into a SUPERKICK! Death Sword runs in, into a SUPERKICK! Death Sword staggers and rebounds, only to get DOUBLE SUPERKICKS! Death Sword falls, Mack scoops Scaldera! The Ducks coordinate but Scaldera slips free to shove Mack into Rick! Rick tumbles, Scaldera hits the three point stance, BLAZING ELBOW!

Mack falls out of the ring, but Fin SHOTGUNS Scaldera! Scaldera ends up in a drop zone, Fin hurries up top! Fans fire up, but Gomess is on the apron! Maron stops Gomess from getting close, but she misses Death Sword come in from the other side! Death Sword SHOVES Fin off the corner, and Scaldera catches him in a fireman’s carry! GORON DRIVER! Cover, TWO!! Fin survives and the uWo is furious! Scaldera drags Fin up, TOSSES him out, and then starts shouting at The Ducks. Maron goes to stop Scaldera, but then she also keeps an eye on Death Sword & Gomess on the outside. Maron knows not to trust the uWo at a time like this!

Death Sword & Gomess stay back, acting innocent. But Beedle waves to someone? Wait, who’s that jumping in from the crowd on the other side? MAJORA?! Maron forgot all about the uWo’s wild card, and he DOUBLE LARIATS the Ducks down! The fans boo but Majora just flips them all off. Scaldera grins as Fin gets in, no one to tag out to. Scaldera rushes Fin, Fin ducks ‘n’ dodges, and DIVES onto Majora! Fans fire up as Fin hurries back inside, slides out and trips Death Sword at the same time! Gomess storms over but Fin shoves Death Sword into him! Fin then goes around the way as the reapers give chase!

Fin slides back in, Maron stops the reapers from getting in, and Fin LOW BLOWS Scaldera! Beedle is pissed but fans fire up as Fin grins at Scaldera. And then BITES Scaldera on the face!! The fans love the payback, and Fin stops as Maron notices! Fin “apologizes,” then reels Scaldera in, Half Hatch, but Beedle gets on the apron! Maron stops him, and Scaldera drops down to LOW BLOW UPPERCUT! Fans boo as hard as they can, but here comes Bad Croc Scaly! Beedle turns around and Scaly CLOBBERS him! Scaly shouts at Gomess & Death Sword, they storm up on him, but Scaldera wants them to come back to focus on Fin!

Maron goes out to tell Scaly AND Majora to get out of here, but Torbevito rushes in from the commentary side! Torbevito goes up the apron, Scaldera turns around, and Torbevito SPRINGBOARD FLYING DDTS!! Torbevito then slips away, Fin goes up a corner! The Ducks DOUBLE SUPERKICK the reapers! Fin aims, fans are thunderous, COUP DE GRACE!!! Cover, ARROW CLUB WINS!!

The crowd is going wild as Arrow Club pulls off the win! The uWo tried to make it a number’s game but forgot about Arrow Club’s numbers! Beedle is throwing a fit, but how will ReDead react to his “No New Champions” decree being defied?

HPW Termina Championship: Ganon VS Igos du Ikana!

The Gerudo Ace grew up watching Termina Championship Wrestling, and has defended this title against just some of the names he admired. But now, the King of Ruin wants this title back to continue his legacy where it left off. Will Ganon’s time be up? Or will Igos be the one to #FallToRuin?

Ganon’s gear is quite the throwback to his namesake, Ganon Hackenslash. It’s puffy pants, shooter boots with ankle wraps, a sash belt and a men’s kimono but with only one arm inside. Trying to be like a ronin, is he? As for Igos, he walks out in Ikana armor and crown! He has royal attendants help him out of it before he steps into the ring. The introductions are made, the belt is raised, and we see if a King can trump an Ace!

The bell rings and the fans are fired up already. Ganon and Igos circle, feel things out, and Igos gives a testing kick. Ganon shakes that off, Igos avoids the grapple, and he KICKS again. Ganon still walks that off, but he’s getting annoyed. Igos goes for another shot but Ganon blocks the kick, sweeps the other leg, but Igos kicks Ganon away with the held leg. Ganon rebounds but Igos drop toeholds! Igos rolls and floats to the facelock, Ganon rolls but Igos holds on. Igos pulls on the facelock but Ganon endures. The fans rally, Ganon fights up to his feet, and Ganon throws Igos back. Ganon steps forward, but then narrowly avoids the Elegy of Emptiness!

Fans fire up as the two stand off now! Ganon chuckles and the two circle again. They feel things out, Ganon takes some swings but Igos bobs ‘n’ weaves. Igos starts up the Ikana Rush, but Ganon avoids the knee! Ganon UPPERCUTS then runs, but Igos comes back to body scissor roll! Cover, TWO! Igos hits that KNEE after all! Igos runs up to PENALTY KICK! Cover, TWO! Igos keeps on Ganon with a chinlock and he leans on the hold. Fans rally up, Ganon fights up, but Igos shifts around to hit a headlock takeover. Ganon keeps his shoulders up but Igos pulls on the hold. Ganon reaches up with a leg but Igos cranks the headlock to stop the headscissor.

Fans rally as Ganon reaches around with an arm. Ganon is too far from ropes, so Ganon pushes Igos into the headscissors. Igos tries but can’t kip free as Ganon holds tight. Igos moves around, works to turn Ganon over but Ganon resists. Ganon then pushes up to JAM Igos into the mat! Igos clutches his neck while still stuck in the headscissors, and he punches at Ganon’s legs. Igos uses his legs to hook Ganon’s legs, and that helps Igos get free. Igos immediately jumps back onto the headlock, Ganon rolls Igos to a cover, TWO and the two separate. Fans cheer the exchange and newest stand off.

Ganon and Igos reset again and the fans rally up. Ganon calls for a Test of Strength and Igos reaches out to knuckle lock, but then Ganon kicks low! Ganon CLUBS Igos, CLUBS him again, and Igos goes to ropes. Ganon CHOKES Igos! Fans boo and the ref counts but Ganon lets off at 4. Igos coughs and sputters as he goes to a corner, and Ganon storms up. Ganon stomps Igos down, then stomps in a mudhole. The ref counts, Ganon lets off to then drag Igos up. Ganon whips him corner to corner, but Igos goes up and over. Igos fires body shots and forearms from all sides as fans fire up! Igos backs up to BOOT Ganon down!

Igos gives back the stomps and the fans fire up again. The ref counts, Igos lets off and stands Ganon back up. Igos KICKS Ganon in the corner, and KICKS, and KICKS! The ref counts again, Igos lets off again, and he whips corner to corner. Ganon reverses, Igos goes up but Ganon BOOTS him as he goes over! Igos flounders and staggers to his feet, Ganon rushes up to clinch, OVERHEAD BELLY2BELLY! Igos flounders back to the corner, Ganon runs in and clinches again, another OVERHEAD BELLY2BELLY! Fans are torn as Ganon storms up again. Igos takes a swing, misses, and Ganon hits a NECKBREAKER!

Both men are down, fans duel, “Let’s Go, Ganon!” “GANON SUCKS!” Ganon kips up and the fans get even louder! Ganon waits on Igos to get up. Igos rises, Ganon kicks low and underhooks. But Igos slips out and wrenches to dragon sleeper! Igos drags Ganon into the body scissors for GRAVESTONE! Fans fire up and duel, “TAP! TAP! TAP!” “NO! NO! NO!” as Ganon pries at the scissors. Igos squeezes tight but Ganon throws elbows into Igos’ side and ribs. Igos lets off the dragon sleeper to CLUB Ganon in the chest! And again! And again! Igos then goes back for the dragon sleeper, but Ganon fights and flails!

Ganon moves around, Igos has the dragon sleeper, but Ganon has gotten a leg out for the ROPEBREAK! Fans are torn as Igos lets go in frustration. Ganon bails out of the ring while he coughs for air. The ring count starts, Igos goes out after Ganon, but Ganon sends Igos into railing! Ganon refreshes the ring count, then runs up to clothesline Igos up and over the railing! Fans fire up as Igos practically falls into their laps, and then Ganon goes over railing to follow him! The ref reprimands but Ganon drags Igos up to fire forearms. The two go deeper into the crowd and security keeps the fans at a safe distance.

Ganon CLUBS Igos, shoves him towards the second seating area, but then Igos ELBOWS him in return! Igos whips Ganon into railing, this segment of fans fires up for getting to be closer to the action now, and Igos KICKS Ganon against the railing! And KICKS, and KICKS, and KICKS! The ref finally starts the ring count, Igos hurries to bring Ganon back towards ringside, but Ganon turns things around to whip him hard into the railing! Ganon then runs up, but Igos dumps him up and over! Ganon hits the floor, clutches his lower back and hobbles up. Igos hops up onto the railing and leaps to AX HANDLE Ganon down!

Igos refreshes the count at 8 of 10, then fetches Ganon. Igos SMACKS Ganon off the apron, then shoves him into the ring. Fans rally as Igos climbs up a corner. Ganon stands up again, Igos leaps to AX HANDLE Ganon again! Ganon sits up and shakes out the cobwebs, but Igos brings Ganon around for Kawada Kicks. Igos eggs Ganon on as Ganon goes to ropes, and Ganon seethes as stands back up. Ganon swings, Igos bobs ‘n’ weaves, then blocks a shot to BACK ELBOW! Then SAYANAGI, and ARMBAR! Ganon hurries to clasp hands and fight off the hold! Fans fire up, Igos pries at the grip, Ganon moves around, and Ganon stacks to a cover, TWO!

Igos still has the arm, but he shifts to omoplata, and then he wants the crossface! Ganon scrambles, reaches out, ROPEBREAK with a foot! Igos lets off just a moment, then drags Ganon from ropes to get the dragon sleeper! Fans fire up but Ganon reaches back to snapmare free. Ganon CHOPS Igos on the back of the neck! Igos grimaces, Ganon waistlocks and deadlift GERMAN SUPLEXES! Igos flounders, fans are torn, but Ganon stalks Igos. Igos stands up, turns around, and Ganon kicks him low! Underhooks and DEMISE DRIVER! Cover, TWO!! Igos survives, fans fire up and Ganon is furious!

Ganon glares at Igos while he backs away to a corner. Ganon tells Igos to get up while fans rally. Igos slowly rises, Ganon counts down, “THREE! TWO! ONE!” Wait, GHIRAHIM is here?! Fans boo as the Living Blade swaggers his way out, a smug smile on his face. “Did you miss me~?” he asks. Fans boo even louder because clearly they didn’t. Ghirahim walks right up to ringside and Ganon is furious. Ganon tells Ghirahim to get out of here, and so does the ref. Ghirahim asks why, he hasn’t done anything yet. The ref still says Ghirahim should leave, he has no business out here. Igos is also confused as to why Ghirahim’s here, but Ganon LOW BLOWS him!!

Fans boo as Ganon resets in the corner, Ghirahim finally backs away from ringside, and “THREE! TWO! ONE!” KICK OF CALAMITY!! Ganon covers, Ganon wins!

Winner: Ganon, by pinfall (still HPW Termina Champion)

Fans boo while Ganon celebrates, but Ghirahim goes around to fetch the Termina Championship from Purah the ring announcer. Ghirahim brings the belt into the ring, then he bows as he holds the belt up to Ganon. Ganon takes the belt, puts it on his shoulder, and Ghirahim follows Ganon out. Is Ghirahim now following Ganon’s lead? What does the forming of this devious duo mean for HPW in the New Year?

Million Rupee Championship: Hollywood ReDead w/ The Poe Sisters VS Aveil w/ The Gerudo Sisterhood!

We saw earlier tonight that the UnderWorld Order isn’t the best trio in HPW, so that’s three belts gone, and the championship paychecks that go with them. Can the de facto leader hold onto the belt he made to boost his ego? Or will this be a complete meltdown to end the year?

The Gerudo Sisterhood is bringing more sisters with them. Nabooru is also in the ceremonial robes, and even the living legend, Urbosa, is here! The fans are fired up just seeing the added star power. And then the six part so that Aveil, wearing a special headdress, makes her way down the ramp. The others then follow Aveil down to ringside and help her put the headdress aside so she can enter the ring. Then ReDead makes his entrance in a shining silver tuxedo with that same feathered top hat from before. The Poe Sisters are all in fanciful dresses, each in their personal colors of red (Joelle), blue (Beth), green (Amy) and purple (Meg).

The introductions are made, the belt is raised, and we see who’s in the money!

The bell rings and Aveil looks to the Sisterhood. Aveil nods, they nod back, and then Nabooru, Tali, Riju, Buliara, and Urbosa storm up on the Poe Sisters! ReDead is upset and asks what’s going on, and the Poe Sisters cower together. The five Gerudo flank the four Poes, with Shabonne hyping things up. “Yeah, that’s right! You ain’t gonna help your man cheat this one! Aveil’s getting a fair match!” ReDaed tells referee Maron Ron Ron to do something but there’s nothing to do. The Poes aren’t in this match, the Gerudo Sisterhood isn’t in this match, there’s no one to disqualify. So the Poes scurry up the ramp while Shabonne and the others pursue.

ReDead is furious, and he swings on Aveil, but Aveil dodges and mule kicks! And front kicks! And ENZIGURIS! ReDead wobbles, Aveil reels him in but ReDead fights the back suplex! ReDead throws down elbow after elbow, then HELL STAB UPPERCUTS! Aveil staggers, ReDead stalks her, and then CHOKES her on ropes! Maron reprimands and counts but ReDead lets off at 4. ReDead kicks the ropes to jam Aveil up! Maron reprimands again while Aveil coughs and sputters. ReDead scoops Aveil to SLAM her! ReDead runs the ropes, but Aveil avoids the Dead Leg! And comes back to PENALTY KICK! Cover, TWO!

Fans sing for “AVEEEIL~ AVEIL AVEIL AVEEEIL~! AVEEEEIL~, AVEEEEIL~!” as she keeps on ReDead with an armlock. ReDead endures, reaches out for ropes, but Aveil shifts to a top wristlock. Aveil drags ReDead back from ropes with that wristlock, then sits down into a Short Arm Scissor. ReDead still endures, still reaches out, and gets the ROPEBREAK with a foot! Maron counts, Aveil lets go at 4, to then basement dropkick ReDead out of the ring! ReDead stumbles, and turns around into a PLANCHA! The fans fire up with Aveil as she stands tall. Aveil drags ReDead up, puts him back in the ring, then goes to the corner.

The fans rally as Aveil climbs. But ReDead hurries to SHOVE Aveil off the corner! Aveil crashes down into railing while fans boo! ReDead grins and laughs while he stays in the ring. He tells Maron to count Aveil out! Maron starts the ring count, the fans rally for Aveil, and Aveil stirs. Aveil sits up at 4 of 10, crawls over, and drags herself up with the apron skirt to roll in at 7. But then ReDead is there to stomp her down! ReDead drags Aveil up, scoops her, but Aveil flails free. Aveil KICKS ReDead in the leg! And KICKS! And KICKS! ReDead blocks a kick, but Aveil rolls to bring ReDead down into a KNEEBAR!!

Fans fire up while ReDead flails and reaches out! The Poes try to get closer but the Gerudo Sisterhood keeps them at bay! After all, it’s 4v5; Shabonne stays out of the physical confrontation but she still talks some smack. Aveil shifts and even adds a HEEL HOOK to the hold! ReDead claws at the mat while the fans chant “TAP! TAP! TAP!” ReDead pushes up, drags Aveil along as he moves forward, but Aveil kicks and stomps away on ReDead’s lower back! ReDead fights to turn over, but Aveil uses that to get up, step back, and tie ReDead’s legs up for a TRAILER HITCH! Fans fire up as ReDead flails around!

ReDead endures, reaches out, claws at the mat again, but Aveil pushes up with her arms to put more pressure on! ReDead powers up to push up, and he claws his way forward to the ROPEBREAK! Fans boo and Aveil lets go in frustration, and ReDead scrambles out of the ring. Aveil hurries back to the ropes, PLANCHA, but ReDead gets out of the way this time! And he BOOTS Aveil down! Fans boo, ReDead hobbles on the bad leg, and he drags Aveil up. ReDead whips and Aveil hits railing hard! ReDead storms up and brings Aveil around to whip her again, into more railing! Aveil falls over in a heap, fans rally for her and boo ReDead but ReDead soaks up the heat.

ReDead really gets into it with one fan, and even snatches their “ReDead Sucks” sign to tear it in half! ReDead even rubs one half on his butt! Maron reprimands but ReDead goes back to Aveil and drags her up. ReDead whips again, but Aveil reverses and now ReDead is sent into railing! Aveil refreshes the ring count, then runs at ReDead to UPPERCUT him against railing! Fans fire up more, and Aveil pushes ReDead back into the ring. Aveil goes up again, clutches a rib, but still MOONSAULTS! Cover, TWO!! ReDead survives and Aveil grows frustrated, but the fans still sing for her. Aveil drags ReDead up, goes for the full nelson, but ReDead is bigger than her so that’s tricky to do.

ReDead powers out of the nelson, but ends up in a STRAITJACKET GERMAN! Bridging cover, TWO!! Aveil clutches her ribs, all those crashes into railing taking their toll on her body. Aveil grits her teeth as she stands back up and storms over to ReDead. Aveil drags ReDead up, reels him in, but he wrenches free and KNEES Aveil low! Aveil coughs and stumbles, ReDead spins her around, S T O!! AKA DEAD END!! Cover, ReDead wins!!

ReDead crushes Aveil’s dreams, and perhaps the craziest thing of all, he actually did it fair and square! If ReDead does this more often, will he… win our respect?

As for Aveil, the Gerudo Sisterhood help her out of the ring and to the back. The Desert Flower has tried and tried but hasn’t made it to that next level, what will it take to succeed on her own?

HPW management is on stage!

Nicolas Foolyere, Starfish McMaguro and Humpback Hook Halibut stand by a pedestal. On that pedestal are the original blue Triforce Championship, Kage’s all black variant, and something covered in a satin cloth. Foolyere starts by thanking the crowd for coming to Crenel Hills. “Been a great night, hasn’t it?” The fans cheer in agreement. Starfish agrees, too, and says it’s a great way to close out this year. “As both Hyrule Pro-Wrestling and the world enter a new year, it felt only right that we turn the page together.” Starfish points out the belts on the pedestal. Kage “graciously” handed over his belt for the sake of this moment.

Hook says, “These two belts representing the Hyrule Pro-Wrestling Triforce Championship have represented this company’s first four years. There has quite literally been blood, sweat and tears shed for these belts, and shed for the opportunity to be seen as the very best wrestler in the very best wrestling company in the world today. And now, as we move into the future, the belt that will represent such an honor… will be this!” Hook takes the satin cloth away to reveal the new belt!

“Behold!” Hook continues. “The Undisputed HPW Triforce World Championship!” Foolyere steps up to point out the details of the belt. The Three Goddesses and original Six Sages are still honored within the hourglass shaped side plates, and the hourglasses themselves represent the near two centuries of professional wrestling history around the world. The centerpiece of the red bird and Triforce are still there, but they have added the symbols of the Four Pillar species as they are geographically. Rito in the northwest, Gorons in the northeast, Gerudo in the southwest, and Zora in the southeast.

Hook continues again, “We are all united through professional wrestling! We are all witnesses to the future of professional wrestling! WE ARE! H! P! W!!” And with that, Link makes his entrance! He walks up and around the pedestal from the side with his blue Triforce belt. He looks back at the pedestal and the brand new title, then continues down to the ring, a determined look in his eye. And after he makes it to the ring, Kage makes his entrance. Kage walks up and around from the side with his black Triforce belt, but does the same look back at the belts before continuing down to the ring. He has the same determined look in his eye as Link’s.

Undisputed HPW Triforce World Championship: Kage VS Link!

The introductions are made, the belt awaits on stage, and only one can leave here on top of the wrestling world!

The bell rings and the fans are already losing their minds as these two stare down. Link and Kage slowly circle, the fans rally up, and the two approach. They feel things out, test the waters with some jabs and kicks, but neither lands a clean hit. Link shoots in for a leg but Kage stays away. Link stays low, tries again, but Kage gets around and waistlocks. Link sits, breaks the waistlock and facelocks, gator rolls with Kage, then pulls on the facelock. Kage fights the suplex, throws body shots, but Link CLUBS him on the back! And CLUBS him again and again and again! Link suplexes for the FALCON ARROW!

Link sits Kage up and runs, but Kage ducks the shining wizard, only to get the BOOMERANG! Link hurries to drag Kage up but Kage shoves Link away and bails out of the ring. Fans fire up while Kage seethes, but Link pursues! Kage turns around and Link CHOPS him! And CHOPS! And CHOPS! Link brings Kage around but Kage turns that around to send Link into railing! Kage dropkicks Link’s leg! Link hobbles, and Kage shoves him into steel steps! Tiger Sahasrahla starts the ring count as Link falls over, clutching his knee. Kage slides into the ring and waits on Link. Link grits his teeth as he uses the steps to stand up.

The count is 5 of 10 as Link slides in, but Kage stomps him right at the ropes. Sahasrahla has Kage back off, and Link grits his teeth again as he goes to the corner. Link stands, shakes out the bad leg, then walks off the pain as he circles with Kage again. They approach, and now Kage goes after a leg. Link blocks with a sprawl, throws down elbows, but Kage CLUBS the bad leg! Link hobbles, Kage runs up from behind to CHOP BLOCK! Link goes down, clutches the leg, but Kage grabs at it. Link kicks as best he can with the good leg but Kage blocks, turns Link over, and SMASHES the knee into the mat! Link writhes, Kage basement dropkicks him down!

Kage grabs the bad leg and drops an elbow on the knee. Link CLUBS Kage from behind but Kage pulls on the toehold. Link CLUBS and ELBOWS Kage, reaches out, and back strokes his way to the ROPEBREAK! Sahasrahla counts as Kage holds on, and Kage lets off at 4, only to “Oops!” drop a knee on the knee! Fans boo and Sahasrahla reprimands while Kage backs off. Link drags himself up, storms up on Kage, and he throws a forearm! Kage throws another shot back, and they go back and forth. Kage’s shots are strong because he has a stronger base. Link throws another forearm but Kage gives it right back.

Fans rally for Link as he throws another forearm, but Kage ROCKS Link with his! Kage ROCKS Link again, and again! Kage whips Link to a corner, but Link barely makes it there! Kage storms up but Sahasrahla has him hold on. Sahasrahla checks on Link, but Link wants Sahasrahla to leave him alone. However, the hobbling is more like limping now. And then Kage runs up to CHOP BLOCK again! Fans boo harder and Sahasrahla tells Kage to back off! Kage scoffs while he goes to the far side. Sahasrahla asks if Link is sure he can continue. Link says yes, he’s fine! Is Link sure? Link pushes past Sahasrahla to SUPERKICK Kage!

Kage goes down but Link still grits his teeth and clutches his bad knee. Link slaps the leg, shakes it out, then storms up on Kage. Kage kicks at the leg but Link blocks it! Link CLUBS Kage’s leg, CHOPS him to a corner, then CHOPS and CHOPS and CHOPS! Link shouts, and he MACHINE GUN CHOPS! Fans fire up with Link while he lets off, and he shakes the bad leg out again. Link goes back to Kage, Kage turns things around, but Link dodges the chop to fire off a flurry of kicks from all sides! KICK KICK KICK KICK KICK, and ENZIGURI! The Flurry Rush! Fans fire up again as Link whips, but Kage holds onto ropes to block.

Link ROCKS Kage with a forearm, whips again, but Kage ducks ‘n’ dodges, only for Link to avoid the dropkick to the leg! Link tries but Kage avoids the basement dropkick. Kage goes to drop an elbow but Link avoids that. Link goes to drop an elbow but Kage avoids that. Kage goes for the bad leg but Link BOOTS him away! Both men roll backwards onto their feet, then run up to DOUBLE LARIAT! Both men go down and the fans fire up! Sahasrahla starts a standing count, fans rally up, but both men are still down at 5 of 10. The count reaches 7 of 10, and then both men sit right up! Fans fire up as the two glare over their shoulders at the other.

They both stand up, Link still tender on that left leg, but he doesn’t back down. The brothers go forehead to forehead, egging each other on, and then Link fires the first forearm! Kage hits back, Link hits again, and the fans rally up! The forearms go back and forth, harder and harder, faster and faster! Kage ROCKS Link! Link staggers, but he comes back and ROCKS Kage! Kage wobbles, shakes it off, and he ROCKS Link! Kage fires forearm after forearm, but Link kicks low! Link runs, dodges Kage’s boot and UPPERCUTS! Link ROLLING- NO, Kage ROCKS him back! Link BOOTS! Kage ENZIGURIS! Kage storms up but then Link MASTER SWORDS!

Kage BOOTS, Link roars, but Kage SUPERKICKS! Link PELES, but Kage falls on the cover! TWO!! The fans are thunderous while both men are down again! Sahasrahla checks both men, and the two stir. A new standing count begins, and both men go to opposite ends. They each drag themselves up with ropes, and Link glares at Kage. Link shakes the bad leg out, slaps it, then stretches it out. He aims at Kage, who leans on the ropes facing outward. Link roars and runs in, MASTER SWORD! Link brings Kage around by the wrists, but the bad leg slows him down! Kage gets up and under Link to SPINEBUSTER! Kage grabs the bad leg for an ANKLE LOCK!

Link flails and reaches out while fans fire up, but Kage drags him away from the ropes! Link still endures as he claws at the mat! Link moves around, reaches out, Kage still keeps him from ropes, they go around and around, and Link uses that momentum to send Kage into a corner! But Kage comes back to MASTER SWORD! Link falls back, Kage turns him back around and lifts him up in an Electric Chair! But Link flails, and falls back to POISON-RANA! Shoutout to Zelda there, and then Link hurries to BUZZSAW! Kage back drops, but Link sunset flips! But Kage rolls through to get the leg! ANKLE LOCK!! Link hurries to roll through, but Kage holds on! Kage leans on the Ankle Lock as Link flails and reaches for the ropes. Kage reels him into a full nelson, SNAP DRAGON SUPLEX! Link sits up in a daze, Kage gets around him and full nelsons again! SNAP DRAGON SUPLEX! Link sputters while he flounders, and Kage brings him back up! Electric Chair Lift, DARK CLOUD DRIVER!! Cover, TWO?!?! The fans are electric and Kage is furious!! “This is Awesome!” as Kage storms up on Link again. Kage grabs at Link’s leg but Link scrambles forward!

Link gets the ROPEBREAK! Kage holds on while Sahasrahla reprimands and counts. Link climbs up the ropes, then ENZIGURIS! Kage lets go, and Link uses ropes to help in the HOOK SHOT! Then BLINDSIDE MASTER SWORD! Fans fire up as Link hobbles again. Link reels Kage in and underhooks, and lifts beyond Helm Splitter to a shoulder rack! SPINNING NECKBREAKER!?!? Cover, LINK WINS!!!

The fans go wild, and even Link is in disbelief! And yet, this is reality! Link is a THREE-TIME HPW Triforce Champion, and now champion of the WORLD! Link stands up and the belt is brought down to ringside. Sahasrahla takes the belt to hand to Link, and he finally gets to look at it up close. The countdown to midnight is here! Link watches the tron with the rest of us and… Three, two, one, HAPPY NEW YEAR! Link holds up the title and the confetti flies! Hyrule celebrates a new year and a new champion! What new places, new faces and new heights will this new chapter have in store for us all?

My Thoughts:

I don’t know if this turned out as epic as expected, I know I was trying for something with that main event but still left out some moves and spots to make it wilder. And I feel bad for not having a bonus grudge match in this like in past years. But this was another “just in time” finish, given WordPress nearly glitched us out of our entire archive. Plus, my day job is always a real pain during December and the holiday season. I can only hope that in 2024, I figure out the balance between all these things.
