Adam “Edge” Copeland arrives backstage.

As he finishes a phone call, Arkady Aura is there to say after the match last week with Buddy Matthews, how is he feeling going into tonight, facing Brody King? Edge says he isn’t feeling too great. All this week, his mind’s been wandering to places he doesn’t want it to, and he has to stop it. Tonight, it will stop. Edge has the camera move in tight. Edge just got off the phone with Tony Khan, and TK agreed that tonight, it will be NO DISQUALIFICATIONS! House of Black, you wanted The Rated R Superstar? Tonight, you get him! Edge storms off, is he going to absolutely tear down the House to make sure this ends here?

Orange Cassidy VS Trent Beretta!

Best Friends no more, Freshly Squeezed wants revenge for what #JustTrent did to Chuck Taylor! The Kentucky Gentleman may never ever wrestle again, but will Cassidy makes sure that’s the same for Trent? Or will Trent destroy the career of another former friend?

Trent practically rubs in what he did, having Chuck’s name written on wrist tape as a mock tribute to him, and then the shirt has only the word “Best” on it, with Trent’s little cartoon face. Seems Trent only needs #JustTrent from now on. The bell rings and Cassidy runs up! The hands fly, Trent shoves but Cassidy dodges! Trent bails out to avoid the Orange Punch, but Cassidy DIVES onto him! Direct hit into barriers and the fans fire up! Cassidy drags Trent up to throw hands! The ref wants this in the ring but Cassidy ROCKS Trent first! Cassidy then POSTS Trent, brings him around, and POSTS Trent again!

The fans fire up while Cassidy brings Trent up. Trent RAMS Cassidy into the post now! Then Trent LARIATS Cassidy down! The fans boo, Trent drags Cassidy up to DECK him, then he rains down fists! The ref counts, Trent lets off, and the fans boo. Trent looms over Cassidy, then gives a mocking thumbs up. Trent stands Cassidy up, whips and Cassidy hits railing! Trent storms up to Cassidy, ROCKS him and whips him, but Cassidy LEAPS the railing! The fans fire up and Cassidy puts his hands… in his pockets! Trent hurries out but Cassidy dodges to SUPERKICK! Cassidy drags Trent up and ROCKS him with a right!

Cassidy fires off on Trent, then has some popcorn. Cassidy ROCKS Trent again, brings him around and ROCKS him as they go up the bleachers! The fans fire up as Cassidy throws more hands! They spill into the stands, and the fans are thunderous as Cassidy rains down fists! Cassidy goes all the way to TEN! Cassidy brings Trent back to the aisle, ROCKS him again, and they head back for ground level. The fans cheer Cassidy on but Trent hits low! The ref wants this in the ring but Trent suplexes. Cassidy fights that to suplex Trent up and over onto the floor! Trent writhes but so does Cassidy, and the fans fire up again.

Cassidy runs in but Trent TOSSES him over barriers! Cassidy has a rough landing, and he writhes and flounders to the steps. Trent goes up the barriers, but Cassidy YANKS him down! Trent hits barriers hard then falls to the floor! Both men are down, but Cassidy crawls away. Cassidy gets himself in the ring, Trent drags himself up and in to follow. Cassidy takes aim, runs up, but Trent ducks the Orange Punch! BUSAIKU KNEE! But Cassidy’s right up! ORANGE PUNCH!! Both men are down again and the fans fire up! The fans rally for Cassidy as hard as they can, and he drags himself to ropes. Cassidy rises, but then Don Callis walks out here!

The fans boo as callous Callis is now ringside. Callis talked with Orange Cassidy in private last week, is this him following up on the discussion? Seems Callis is gonna join commentary, but Dynamite goes picture in picture!

Trent flounders, Callis heads his way and brings him up. Cassidy ROCKS Trent, but Trent CLAWS Cassidy’s eyes! Trent CHOKES Cassidy in the corner, lets off as the ref counts, and Trent CHOPS! Trent backs off, runs in, but into an ELBOW! Cassidy goes up, but Trent YANKS him down into a SAIDO! But Cassidy’s right up! But he swings into a GERMAN SUPLEX! Trent scowls while Cassidy stirs, and Trent stands over him. Cassidy stands, but Trent DECKS him! Cassidy flops out of the ring and Trent wants the ring count. The ref starts the count, Cassidy sits up at 3 of 10, then crawls over at 5. Cassidy slides in at 6, and Trent is annoyed.

Trent storms up to bring Cassidy up, and CHOPS him right down! Trent looms over Cassidy, brings him back up, talks trash, then reels Cassidy in. Cassidy resists the lift, but Trent CLUBS him again and again! Cassidy still resists the lift, and even tries to lift Trent! Trent fights that, they go back and forth, and Cassidy back drops! Trent sunset flips but Cassidy rolls through to PENALTY KICK! Both men are down, and the fans fire up as Cassidy goes to a corner. Dynamite returns to single picture, the fans rally as Cassidy stands. Cassidy ROCKS Trent, Trent ROCKS Cassidy! They go back and forth, the fans clearly on Cassidy’s side!

Callis says that his conversation with Cassidy last week was about giving him support, but also about taking him to the next level. Cassidy fires forearms on Trent again and again, but Trent throat chops! The fans boo and the ref reprimands, but Trent reels Cassidy in. Trent suplexes, but blocks Stun Dog Millionaire! Trent then half nelsons, but Cassidy breaks free. Cassidy wrenches but Trent ripcords, only for Cassidy to duck ‘n’ dodge and tilt-o-whirl, DDT! The fans fire up as Cassidy kips up! Callis says “This kid is tremendous!” Cassidy sits Trent up to “unleash” the kicks! Cassidy then kicks and kicks and kicks and stomps away on Trent!

The fans fire up, the ref wants Cassidy to let off, but Cassidy just rains down fists of fury! Cassidy throws off his elbow pad, and he takes aim! Trent rises, grabs at the ref, but Cassidy still runs in! Trent gets around, HALF ‘N’ HALF! Callis says this is the problem wrestling someone who knows you so well, you gotta have a counter for the counter. Trent drags Cassidy up, to short arm LARIAT! Trent snarls while the fans boo, but he goes back to stand Cassidy up. The fans chant “YOU SUCK!” at Trent but he lifts Cassidy for a PILEDRIVER! But Trent thinks, and he doesn’t cover! Callis says this isn’t good strategy, but Trent wants to hurt Cassidy!

Trent drags Cassidy up and reels him back in, for another PILEDRIVER!! And then he drags Cassidy up again, but Cassidy’s dead weight! Callis knows Cassidy is highly resilient, but Trent knows that, too. Trent mockingly calls for the hug, and then BUSAIKU KNEES!! Trent still doesn’t cover, he wants the ref to call it! The ref checks Cassidy, but that lets Trent rip a buckle pad off! The ref sees that and Trent acts like it’s no big deal. But then Cassidy exposes a buckle! Trent runs in at Cassidy, but is sent into the buckle! Roll-up, CASSIDY WINS!

Winner: Orange Cassidy, by pinfall

Trent wanted to bend the rules, Cassidy just used that against him! Callis applauds Cassidy while Trent is about to explode! Trent storms out after Cassidy to CLOBBER him from behind! The fans boo but Trent rains down fists of fury! The ref reprimands, but Trent CLAWS at Cassidy’s eyes! Trent lets off, only go bring the steel steps around! The fans boo more and tell Trent off, but Trent tells Cassidy this is what he wanted. Trent drags Cassidy over, brings him up, STEEL STEP PILEDRIVER!!! Callis says that was sickening! But did Trent just end Callis’ hopes of recruiting Cassidy? Wait, he’s still not done?!

Trent puts Cassidy under the ring to CATAPULT him into the frame!! Cassidy sputters as he clutches his throat! Callis wants security to get out here, but Trent brings out a chair, moves the steps around, and then grabs a toolbox! But Cassidy has a chair to defend himself now! Callis hurries off commentary to stop this! And now Kris Statlander rushes out here! She tries to implore her two friends, and Callis ushers Cassidy away. Just what is going on in Trent’s mind that this is okay? What is Callis up to that he is supporting Cassidy?

The Elite speak.

From inside their rental, Matthew & Nicholas look back from the front seats to make sure their random cameraman is all buckled up. They’re pulling into the arena, and Nick says this place is a dump. Matt doesn’t like Canada. Is there nowhere good to park? Nick honks at someone to get out of their way. And then they pull into the spot reserved for Tony Khan! But duh, he can’t be here right now, his neck is keeping him back in Jacksonville. What perfect parking. Time to clock in, gentlemen. Just another day at work. The Bucks lead the way for Jack Perry and Kazuchika Okada, what other abuses of power will they exact on the road to Double or Nothing?

AEW shares footage from after last week.

After their heinous attack on Kenny Omega, Jack Perry was upset, but he had more to say. “Kenny Omega. Is this the best that you got?” He points to a scratch on his face. “You know, you’re not as bad as you think you are. But I hope that you had fun hitting all your old moves in your hometown for what’s probably the last time in your entire life. And the thing that hurts me the most, Kenny, is that you are not the hero that we needed you to be. When it came down to it, you were a COWARD! Like everybody else. And the truth is, The Elite doesn’t need you anymore, and neither does AEW. Because we are going to change the world without you. We all have to sacrifice, and you just made yours.”

The Scapegoat has spoken, but will there truly be no stopping The Elite’s corruption from spreading?

Kenny Omega speaks.

Again, because of that heinous attack, The Cleaner is in the hospital. He apologizes for not seeming like himself. He wishes he could’ve been in Edmonton live tonight, but it seems the EVPs had other plans in mind. 15 years, they’re like family, and yet here we are. Well, Kenny is, at least. He’s in the ER, and it’s hard not to take what they did to him personally. He really feels he has to thank Matthew & Nicholas for reminding him that what they did wasn’t personal, but business. As a fellow EVP, that means Kenny has business to take care of before he gets his body taken care of. And it got him thinking…

May 26th marks the fifth anniversary of where it all started: Double or Nothing. And since The Bucks walk by the beat of their own drum, since they make their own rules, why not throw the rulebook out the window? Anarchy in the Arena! This new Elite of the Young Bucks, Okada & Jack Perry VS “Team AEW.” And two names that come right off the top of his head as the greatest tag team in AEW and perhaps of all professional wrestling, and the only two guys with the courage to stand up to the Bucks: FTR! As for the other two, well, Kenny’s a bit new to this match making stuff, but something tells him that on a first come, first serve basis, someone will reveal themselves later tonight.

So until they meet again Bucks, Okada & Jack, Kenny must bid you adieu. Goodbye, mwah, and goodnight, BANG. Kenny is ready to heal up and start the comeback, but who will fight in his honor to tear down the corrupt Elite?

Tony Schiavone is on stage.

We return to Edmonton as Schiavone says that’s quite the match made for the fifth anniversary! But another match at Double or Nothing will be the AEW Women’s World Championship, “Timeless” Toni Storm VS his guest, Serena Deeb! The Professor of Professional Wrestling makes her way out, dressed to impress, and she gets the fans fired up. Schiavone tells Serena that we know the accolades, we know the skillset, but the question is, is she ready to go for the AEW Women’s World title on May 26th? Any thoughts on Storm? Serena says first off, what’s up Edmonton? And yes, it is great to be here live on Dynamite!

To answer the question, of course she’s excited to be wrestling for THE AEW Women’s World Championship, and in Las Vegas at Double or Nothing. And she is wrestling the great Toni Storm. Serena is aware, everyone loves Storm. In fact, even she does. But she’s also very aware of the narrative that “Deeb is not gonna be able to defeat Toni Storm.” Well, as much as that upsets her, she gets it. She thought it was important to come out here and explain why losing at Double or Nothing is not an option for The Professor. The fans cheer, Deeb smiles, and she says that several months ago, she finally made her in-ring return after a very long, 15 MONTHS away.

That time away was the hardest, without a doubt, time away. So for the people that don’t know, last year, Deeb suffered a series of three unprovoked seizures. That was the hardest experience of her life. It was the most traumatic, she can’t explain how scary it all was. There was so much weight on her shoulders, she was so worried another seizure would happen. She saw all the doctors, did all the scans, did everything to figure out why it was happening, and no one could explain it. From what Deeb learned about seizures, and perhaps there are those in the crowd or watching at home who know, but the hardest part is that you don’t know why it happens.

So Deeb had so much time to reflect on what she wanted in her career. The thing that stuck in her mind was this vision of finally becoming AEW Women’s World Champion! It was that vision, despite all the fear, uncertainty and confusion, that carried her forward. She just imagined and dreamed of what it’d feel like to finally be world champion. The fans do cheer that, but then Toni Storm interrupts! The fans cheer the leading lady of AEW as she has a mic of her own. Schiavone welcomes the champ, and Storm says she thought she was going to hear from her challenger. All she’s heard is a charity case!

So here, take this money. Storm throws it at Deeb, and Deeb tells Storm to actually give a damn and take this seriously! Deeb has literally fought for her life to get back here, and at Double or Nothing, she fights for her life to finally be AEW Women’s World Champion! The fans are torn but Storm says that with everything Deeb has gone through, she can honestly say… she doesn’t give a single, solitary sh*t!! Storm then turns her nose up at Deeb but Deeb just stares her down. Deeb turns to leave, but Storm takes a swing! Deeb blocks to DECK Storm! The fans are torn again but Deeb shows she’s got power to back up her technique!

Luther has to help Storm up off the floor, she still has to support Mariah May later tonight! Will Storm have to watch what she says before she ends up putting her foot in her mouth?

Backstage interview with Orange Cassidy.

Lexy Nair is with Freshly Squeezed as a medical staff member checks him. Lexy is hoping for an update, but Rocky Romero steps in first. Rocky knows Cassidy just went through Hell out there, but is he okay? Rocky says he has a champ against one of the Trios Champs, and he also just talked with Tony Khan on the phone. TK said that if Rocky beats Jay White, then Rocky, Cassidy and a third man of their choice get a title shot! That could be Rocky, Cassidy & Ishii, or Rocky, Cassidy & Shibata! Whoever! Or… maybe they mend fences and it’s Trent. Cassidy gets mad now. No, they’ll figure something out. Just not Trent. Cassidy wishes Rocky luck, will Azucar be able to take down The Switchblade?

Harley Cameron w/ Saraya VS Mariah May!

The Outcasts were mocking Mariah as “Tiny Storm,” and are promising to send a message to the leading lady through her understudy. However, after Deeb’s knockout punch, it seems there’s no Storm to be seen. Will Mariah be able to do this on her own? Or will this crazy Harley rev up and run her right over?

For some reason, Don Callis is back on commentary. Is the Don Callis Family looking to go for the Women’s Division? The bell rings and the two circle. Saraya is lurking, and then Harley CLOBBERS Mariah! Harley bumps Mariah off buckles, stomps a mudhole in, then RAMS into her! The ref counts, Harley brings Mariah out to ROUNDHOUSE, run and SHINING WIZARD! Cover, TWO! Mariah is still in this but Harley argues the count. Harley goes back for Mariah, mocks #TinyStorm, then SLAPS her down! Harley stands over Mariah, throws her down, then sits her up to get a taste before she throws her down again!

The fans rally for Mariah while Saraya talks trash with fans. Harley whips but Mariah reverses to send Harley to a corner! Mariah runs up to CHOP Harley, then CHOPS her again! The fans fire up for Mariah as she DOUBLE CHOPS! Mariah whips corner to corner, runs up and forearm smashes! Then she whips the other way, for another forearm smash! Mariah brings Harley around, scoops, and SPINOUT SIDEWALK SLAMS! Mariah runs to SHOTGUN Harley back down! The fans fire up but Harley bails out. Saraya checks on Harley, only for Mariah to storm up and bring her up! Harley HOTSHOTS Mariah back! And ROUNDHOUSES!

Saraya cheers as Harley AX KICKS Mariah in the ropes! Mariah flops to the floor and Harley soaks up the heat while Dynamite goes picture in picture.

The ref argues with Harley, but that lets Saraya THROW Mariah into railing! Saraya plays innocent, blows kisses to the camera, then talks trash on the fans. Harley goes out to fetch Mariah, she and Saraya talk more trash on the fans, and then Harley CLUBS Mariah down. Saraya mockingly cheers Mariah, Harley brings her up, but Mariah ROCKS Harley back! Harley storms up on Mariah to fire knee after knee! Then Harley SMACKS Mariah off the apron! Harley digs her boot in, the ref counts, but Harley lets off. Saraya coaches Harley, Harley brings Mariah around to put in the ring. Harley then storms in to soak up more heat.

Mariah runs up at the corner but Harley kicks her first! Harley puts Mariah in the corner, kicks away, then digs her boot in. The ref counts, Harley lets off again, but Saraya gets a cheap shot! Saraya CHOKES Mariah, but hurries away so as not to get caught. She even yells at a kid for ratting on her! Harley whips Mariah corner to corner hard, and Mariah falls to the mat. Harley covers, TWO! Mariah is still in this but Harley paces. Harley stomps Mariah around, then drags her into a chinlock. Mariah endures, even as Harley grinds her down. Saraya mocks the fans, but Mariah fights up as they rally up. Mariah ROCKS Harley!

Harley comes back to throw Mariah down by her hair! The ref reprimands, but Harley CHOKES Mariah on ropes! The ref counts, Harley lets off, and Dynamite returns to single picture. Harley CHOKES Mariah again, whips, but Mariah ducks ‘n’ dodges, both women RUNNING FACEBUSTER! The fans fire up and Saraya wants to point out the freaks in the crowd! The fans embrace being called freaks, but Harley and Mariah rise in the ring. Mariah ROCKS Harley, Harley ROCKS Mariah! The forearms go back and forth, and the fans rally up! The two stand, still trade shots, and Mariah gets the edge! The fans fire up as she fires off again and again!

Mariah ROCKS Harley one more time, then roars. Mariah runs, but Harley LARIATS at the ropes! Harley runs, but Mariah runs up to FOREARM! Mariah reels Harley in, SKY HIGH! Cover, TWO!! Harley survives but Saraya is freaking out! Mariah drags Harley back up, but Harley JAWBREAKERS! Harley wrenches, kicks, but Mariah blocks! HEADBUTT a la Storm! The fans fire up as Mariah goes to a corner. Mariah climbs, Harley staggers, MISSILE DROPKICK! The fans fire up with Mariah and she says kiss this! SWEET- NO, Saraya gets Harley outta there! The fans boo, but Mariah goes out to DECK Saraya!

The fans fire up as Mariah puts Harley in and tells Saraya to stay outta her match! Mariah storms back into the ring, then gets Harley, but Harley gets Mariah in a cradle! TWO!! Mariah runs up, dodges and fireman’s carries, to then MAYDAY DRIVER!! Cover, Mariah wins!

Winner: Mariah May, by pinfall

But then Saraya CLOBBERS Mariah! The fans boo as The Outcasts mug Mariah, with no Toni Storm to make the save! But wait! Mina Shirakawa is here! And she is going to save her friend! Saraya shoves Harley in Mina’s way, so Mina URAKENS Harley! The fans fire up as Team Rose Gold stands tall together! And… no kiss? Champagne first! Mina’s a bit of a tease, but will she and Mariah humble Saraya & Harley while Storm handles her business with Deeb?

Backstage interview with Pac.

Arkady is with The Bastard, and says the last time we saw him was at Dynasty, in a great match against Kazuchika Okada. And now with the return of Rey Fenix, is Death Triangle going to get back in action? Pac says to be honest, at this moment in time, he is not concerned with… But then Bullet Club Gold walks by, carrying all their gold, and he wants this interview to pause so Arkady can step over to them. Jay White can help with the confusion here: NOBODY is concerned with Death Triangle! They’re D E A D, dead! What Pac needs to worry about is himself. Like little lady Arkady said, Pac’s coming off a loss for the Continental Championship against one Rainmaker.

Now, boys, isn’t there someone that does know how to beat Okada? Austin & Colten agree that there is, and that someone is Jay White. Yes, it is! Switchblade Jay White, The Catalyst of Pro-Wrestling! So maybe, maybe, White should go after the Continental Championship and Okada, and then add even more gold to the hold! Maybe. Tonight, White has Azucar to handle. So Pac and his new friend, sadness, can hang out here in the hallway and watch and learn a thing or two, or three, or four, about winning. #GunsUp, ya bastard! The Bang Bang Gang heads out, but will they regret poking fun at Pac?

Malakai Black speaks.

“Once upon a time, there was a boy full of hopes and dreams. And that boy, upon becoming a man, manifested his dreams into reality. Now, this man was so pivotal to the industry that he changed its landscape. But then, the man has started fearing death and became painfully aware of his own mortality. So the man found a way to enjoy life and cast off the shadows that gave him everything, all in exchange for a wife, children, and all things that were in the light of the sun, rather than the fast-track suicidal shadows of death. The man really created a facade from who he really was. And thus The Devil sent the men from The House.

“Why? Well, the man named Adam had to be reminded of who he really was! Not the husband, the father, the champion for the people. And all I have to do is kill the facade, and prove to the world that this man is a vile, coldhearted, evil son of a b*tch! And I have to bring you to the brink of death so that you may live again.” The Dark Father has spoken, but will the Rated R Superstar still escape the King of Death?

The Young Bucks play a video package.

“In 2019, visionary pioneers, Matthew & Nicholas Jackson, made it their mission to change the world of professional wrestling for the better. Even in the face of those who sought only to defy this noble calling. Your EVPs never faltered in their pursuit. Now, standing arm-in-arm with those devoted solely to this virtuous cause, The Elite will change the world.” Clearly a lot of pro Bucks visuals here, but Matt & Nick sure admire that “wonderful piece of promotional material.” That narrator deserves a raise! More of this, and less updates from Kenny Omega. That fraud! They’ll address that later tonight in the ring.

But then a staff member brings over the schedule piece for what’s next. Oh, right, we’re going to hear from the AEW World Champion. Oh hey there he is right there! Go get ’em, Swerve! The EVPs then roll their eyes, but will Kenny’s promise for Anarchy in the Arena come true?

Swerve Strickland heads to the ring!

Edmonton fires up as The Realest storms right to the ring, no Prince Nana dancing because this is business! Swerve gets a mic and says he’s in a real foul mood. He’s pissed off! He’s in a fighting mood! And here is why. A video plays showing last week’s cheap shot by Christian Cage, the beating by The Patriarchy, and Killswitch Luchasaurus PULLING a dreadlock out of Swerve’s head! The fans boo and Swerve says it’s funny how when you becoming champion, everyone wants a piece of you, figuratively and literally! Swerve then tells Christian that he can’t really blame him. Swerve would’ve done the same, and hell, he has done the same!

Because when you see someone at the top, you go after that someone at the top. And make no mistake about it, Swerve is the Connor McDavid of AEW! AKA the best player of the Edmonton Oilers ever. The fans appreciate that shoutout. Swerve isn’t gonna wait any longer! He wants Christian to get his scuffed up boots, his dingy jacket, his itchy turtleneck, and the rest of the Addams Family out here so they can have this conversation right now! And so here comes The Patriarchy! Christian has a mic to say, “Well, look at this. Our world heavyweight champion standing right there in the middle of the ring, in the self-proclaimed City of Champions…

“I hate to break it to you, Edmonton. There won’t be any championship this year, because in a couple hours, I can’t wait to watch The Canucks stomp The Edmonton Oilers!” The fans boo but Christian says speaking of stomping out, that’s what happened last week to Swerve, isn’t it? People have said it was sick and disgusting seeing them pull a dreadlock out. But Swerve, that was by design. The fans cheer for the Oilers but Christian tells them to shut their mouths while he conducts business! Christian tells Swerve that he has decided that every week, he is going to take something from Swerve until he ultimately takes what he wants.

Christian knows Swerve has been riding this huge wave of momentum, all the way to the AEW World Championship. But the funny thing about waves is, they always crash! And at Double or Nothing, it will crash at Christian’s feet! Swerve is not in Christian’s league! Christian is The Patriarch of AEW, The Face of TBS & TNT, and he deserves to stand atop the mountain as THE AEW World Champion! But after Double or Nothing, when the dust settles, and again shut your mouths, Edmonton! But Swerve can take comfort knowing, that when the walls are crashing down, and as Swerve’s House is foreclosed on, he can see gold whenever he wants, because he’ll just look at those stupid gold teeth.

Unless… Christian takes those right now! The fans boo but Swerve reminds Christian, he wasn’t coming alone! And with that, The Mogul Embassy slides into the ring! Brian Cage, Bishop Kaun & Toa Liona back Swerve up! What’s wrong, Christian? Swerve wants Christian to get in the ring so that he can beat him down as bad as Kendrick Lamar did Drake this weekend! And this won’t be the last time someone from the West Coast took out a fake father from Toronto! Whoa~! Swerve tells Christian to be the face of the company! Christian got here by politicking, but Swerve had to get beat down and get back up to be champion! Don’t you forget that!

The fans fire up and Swerve dares Christian to come take his gold! Oh, that’s right. Christian won’t. That would put him in a very uncomfortable position. And we all know that when Christian is faced with an uncomfortable position, he just says, “I quit!” Swerve drops the mic but Christian lifts his up. Only to be speechless! But then BRIAN CAGE ATTACKS SWERVE!? And the Gates of Agony don’t even care! In fact, they start beating Swerve down!! Why are they betraying Swerve?! Liona hauls Swerve up, feeds him to Kaun, and they rip the shirt away so they can throw body shots! Christian cheers on these traitors as they hit the ROCK-A-BYE BOMB!!

The fans boo and refs rush out here! But then Liona SHOVES a ref away! That’s a fine but sounds like they got paid off anyway! Brian Cage says he told Swerve that Swerve doesn’t run this! The Machine then lifts Swerve up to TOSS him out of the ring! Swerve crashes to the floor, and The Embassy isn’t done! Christian wants them to end this! They clear the desk, bring steel steps over, and they run the refs off! Kaun CHOKES Swerve, Brian Cage drags Swerve up, and he tells Swerve that this is what he gets for acting like he was always better than them! Kaun & Liona get Swerve up the steps, to OPEN THE GATES through the desk!!

The fans boo as hard as they can but The Patriarchy is all smiles. They didn’t take his teeth, but they took his muscle. Is there nothing Captain Charisma won’t do to take everything from Swerve’s House?

The Young Bucks are applauding!?

They loved what just happened to Swerve! 4.5 stars! They shake hands with Christian and he says that was a great idea. It’s been a pleasure conducting business with them and he looks forward to doing more. This is the start of a very fruitful working relationship. The Patriarchy heads out, Nick says Swerve’s gonna feel that one in the morning. Matt says that wouldn’t be considered a “b*tch move,” would it? Not in Nick’s opinion. Anyway, keep the energy up, guys! Next segment!

Backstage interview with Willow Nightingale.

Arkady is now with the AEW TBS Champion and says we saw last Wednesday, Willow defended and retained her title in a Manitoba Massacre! How is she feeling this week? Physically, not so great. She’s got a shiner, for one. But emotionally, spiritually, you can never wipe the smile off her face. Arkady says we are just weeks away from her showdown with one of the biggest names in wrestling today, and one Willow knows well, in Mercedes Mone. Is Willow ready for Double or Nothing? Of course! She’s ready for any challenge, whether it’s Dynamite, Rampage, Collision, maybe even something international!

So to Willow, Double or Nothing is just another stop on the journey of being a champion. So if Willow is ready, the real question is, is Mercedes Mone ready? Willow even asks Mone herself through the camera. Is Mone ready for Willow at Double or Nothing? Because the last time they met in the ring, Willow walked away the winner. And she has so much respect for Mone, she really does. And she is still sorry that Mone got hurt and that was the end of her year. But since then, Willow’s been on the run of her life! NJPW Strong Women’s Champion! The Owen Hart Cup Queen of Harts! And now, THE TBS Champion.

So Mone can win all the red carpet opportunities, the headlines, and the attention. But in the professional wrestling match, Willow will be the winner. May 26th, in Las Vegas, Mone better be ready for the fight of their lives! The Babe with the Power has the passion, will she still be the Face of TBS after she and The CEO finally fight again?

Unified AEW & ROH World Trios Championship Eliminator: Jay White w/ The Gunns VS Rocky Romero!

The Bang Bang Gang shows off all NINE belts they own, from The Acclaimed’s hot pink belts to the silver ‘n’ black ROH belts to the restored black ‘n ‘gold AEW trios belts. But will Edmonton soon Breathe with The Switchblade? Or will Azucar win a sweet title match for him, Cassidy and… whoever?

The bell rings, the fans rally up while White taunts Rocky for thinking he’s gonna get a golden ticket. White then mocks Rocky’s Azucar Heat, and Rocky UPPERCUTS him for it! The fans fire up, Rocky rolls White up, TWO!! White gets free, runs up, but Rocky dodges to CHOP! White clinches, Rocky KICKS, KICKS and KICKS! White knees low, whips Rocky to ropes, but Rocky slides out to show us Azucar Heat! The fans fire up, White chases Rocky, but Rocky slides into the ring. Rocky mocks the finger guns, then he DROPKICKS White off the apron! Rocky builds speed to DIVE! Direct hit and down goes White!

The fans fire up for Rocky, he gives us some more Azucar, then puts White in the ring. Rocky runs up, RANAS, and White tumbles to ropes! Rocky fires off on White in the corner, but White shoves him away. Rocky returns to clothesline! And then he goes corner to corner to clothesline again! That’s two-ever, but White dodges three-ever to LARIAT Rocky back! The Gunns fire up and taunt Rocky while Dynamite goes picture in picture.

White stands, he dusts off his hands, and he winds up to CHOP! Rocky falls into a corner, White storms up on him, then stands him up. White CHOPS Rocky in the chest, pushes him around, then brings him up. Rocky throws hands but White blocks to bump Rocky off buckles. Rocky staggers back, White hits him with a DDT! Cover, TWO! Rocky is still in this but White argues the count. White storms up on Rocky, stands him up and wrenches, to then kick low, and kick again! And again, and again! White hammerlocks, chinbars, then brings Rocky into a Gory Especial style lift! Rocky endures while White walks around with him!

White then lets Rocky down so he can snap suplex! Cover, TWO! Rocky stays in this but White stalks after him. The Gunns tell White to keep on Rocky, so White JABS! And JABS! And CHOPS! Rocky flops into a corner, White storms up after him, and brings him around to CHOP! Rocky falls again and The Gunns cheer. White gets the fans fired up, then he goes back for Rocky. White waistlocks but Rocky endures the rear bearhug. White leans on Rocky, Rocky fights up, and Dynamite returns to single picture. The fans rally, White shifts things into a chinlock, knee digging into Rocky’s back. Rocky still endures and fights up again, only for White to CLUB him!

White cravats, CHOPS, then stalks Rocky to ropes. White reels Rocky in for a suplex, but Rocky slips free! Rocky BOOTS White, UPPERCUTS, then springboards to TORNADO DDT! The fans fire up while both men are down! White stagger sup, but flops right out of the ring! Rocky goes out after him, and leaps off steps to RANA! The fans fire up, Rocky gets White back in the ring, and Rocky goes up! White stands, into the CROSSBODY! Cover, TWO! White survives and The Gunns are relieved, but Rocky isn’t done yet! Rocky runs in, but White BOOTS him! Then SLEEPER, but Rocky drops to a victory roll! TWO!!

White escapes, but Rocky JUMP KNEES! Rocky cravats, White shoves him away, so Rocky SHOTEIS! Rocky cravats and uses the corner, but White turns Sliced Bread into a Canadian Rack! From there, clinch and BLADE- NO, Rocky slips free to backslide! TWO?!? White escapes by the thinnest of margins! Rocky ducks the lariat but White blocks the kick! White ducks the enzigiri but not the REWIND HEEL! Rocky runs, RUNNING SLICED BREAD!! Cover, TWO?!?! White survives again and The Gunns are going nuts! Rocky hurries to get White back up, uses the corner, but White powers out again! HALF HATCH BRAINBUSTER!

White isn’t done, he hauls Rocky back up! BLADERUNNER!! Cover, White wins!

Winner: Jay White, by pinfall (denies Rocky Romero a title opportunity)

The Bang Bang Gang hold all nine belts up over Rocky, then they beat Rocky down! The fans boo, this is insult to injury! But then here comes PAC! The fans fire up as The Bastard storms down to the ring! The Bang Bang Gang all get away, all three of them scared of just one Pac! Will Pac change his mind and revive Death Triangle for one last run?

PROGRAMMING REMINDER for Saturday!

Collision returns and Rampage is coming with it! Another THREE HOUR block of AEW, all on TBS, don’t miss out!

Samoa Joe speaks.

“What drives a warrior to do what he does? A lot of people think that it’s ambition, that it’s a need for conquest. No. What drives a warrior is fear. The fear of wanting. The fear of not being good enough. The fear of meeting an opponent that you cannot surmount. Now many people will tell you that these are the qualities that make up a warrior, and that I am one of these men. But you would be mistaken. For I am not the warrior that fears. I am what these men fear in the first place.” The Samoan Submission Machine is becoming even more dangerous, if that were possible. Who will be the first to feel that fear?

Chris Jericho & “Big Bill” Morrissey VS Mo Jabari & Harlon Abbott!

The Learning Tree has its first pupil, who proved himself worthy making sure the “For The World” Championship stayed with The Ocho. Now Jericho & Morrissey have their first match side by side as teacher and student. Will this be a lesson for their opponents that it is better to be with them than against them?

The teams sort out and Jericho starts against Jabari. The fans rally up for Harlon the hometown guy, but Jericho arm-drags Jabari. Jericho fires up but Jabari gets to his feet. Jabari runs up but Jericho wrenches him to a wristlock. Jabari rolls, handsprings, and drop toeholds! Jericho gets up, seems Jabari knows a thing or two already. Jericho tags out to Big Bill, and Jabari sighs. Jabari takes a swing, but Bill blocks it! Bill KNEES low, CLUBS Jabari down, then stalks him to ropes. Bill puts Jabari in the corner, just to TOSS him across the way! Harlon tags in and the fans fire up! Harlon runs up, but Bill LARIATS him down!

Bill drags Harlon up, TOSSES him to a corner, then he runs at Jabari to SPLASH in the other! Then SPLASH for Harlon! SPLASH for Jabari, SPLASH for Harlon! BOOT for Jabari and Jericho approves. Bill whips Harlon for a BIG BOSS MAN SLAM!! Bill applauds and gives thumbs up, then gets Jabari in a choke grip! SKYSCRAPER CHOKE SLAM!! Bill aims again, and Harlon gets up, for his own SKYSCRAPER CHOKE SLAM!! Jericho nods, Bill tags Jericho in, and Jericho takes aim now. Harlon stands up, into the JUDAS EFFECT! Cover, The Learning Tree wins!

Winners: Chris Jericho & “Big Bill” Morrissey, by pinfall

Jericho holds up the FTW Championship, Bill celebrates with him, and then Jericho gets the mic. Jericho tells their opponents thanks, thanks the crowd, and just wants to say it is always a pleasure to come back to Calgary- er, Edmonton…! The fans boo Jericho forgetting where they are. Jericho shrugs even as the fans tell him he messed that up. He admits, he deserves it for the mistake. But when you’ve been traveling around the world as long as he has, making memories with people that last a lifetime, sometimes you make a mistake. But you learn from mistakes! And that is what The Learning Tree does!

Jericho knows people are saying, “Ugh, Jericho is back on Dynamite again?” Well yeah, of course he is! He wishes he could be on Dynamite all two hours! But he is here now as the For The World Champion, meaning this title is for all the fans! He thanks the fans again, thanks Big Bill, #TheRedwood, what a great job tonight! So good! Bill has been pulled into The Jericho Vortex, is already learning so much from The Learning Tree, such as how to win. Great job, big man! And Jericho also thanks Shibata for that great match last week. Highest rating on Cagematch.com, if you can believe that!

They chopped each other SEVENTY-NINE times, Shibata headbutted Jericho with a garbage can, Jericho threw hockey pucks back, que sirrah sirrah, right? Jericho also wants to thank Hook, who we still haven’t seen back since essentially hitting himself in the head with a baseball bat at Dynasty. Hook, take as much time as you need. Surely Hook is reflecting on the lessons taught to him by The Learning Tree. Tony Schiavone steps into the ring, Jericho says hi, and Schiavone says hi back. Schiavone says great win for them, but speaking of Hook, we just learned that Hook will be returning next Wednesday, right here on Dynamite!

W-Well alrighty then! We look forward to the return of Hook! They’re gonna celebrate next week! Everyone’s gonna celebrate with them, right? Thanks, everybody, goodnight! This is for all of you! Even you, too, Schiavone! Jericho’s happy act might be put to the test now that The Cold-Hearted Handsome Devil is on his way back. Will Hook look to chop down The Learning Tree next Wednesday?

AEW TNT Championship No Disqualifications: Adam “Edge” Copeland VS Brody King w/ The House of Black!

The stakes were raised to start the night, and now we see if the gamble pays off! But will going Rated R only prove Malakai Black right? Or can Adam walk as close to the edge as he can without falling into that pit of darkness?

The introductions are made, the belt is raised, and we see if Brody brings gold back to The House!

The bell rings and the fans rally up as the two tie up. Brody headlocks, grinds the hold, but Edge throws body shots. Edge powers up but Brody holds on to grind the headlock more. Edge endures, fights up to stomp at Brody’s feet! Edge gets free, runs, but gets run over! Brody roars and fans are torn, but Edge gets to his feet. Edge shakes that shoulder tackle off, gets around Brody, and now he headlocks. Brody powers up and out, scoops, but Edge slips free! Edge tries to fireman’s carries but Brody ELBOWS away! Brody roars, runs, but reels Edge in as Edge tries for a back drop! Edge gets away before the lift, and the two stand off.

Brody grins a sinister grin, then runs in, only for Edge to puts him on the apron! Edge runs to RAM into Brody! Brody stays up so Edge runs in again, only for Brody to KICK him! Brody then gets Edge in the ropes, HOTSHOT NECKBREAKER! Edge flops down and Brody storms around while Dynamite goes picture in picture.

Brody drags Edge out, to whip him hard into the LED barriers! The fans are torn but Brody drags Edge up to CHOP him! Edge leans against railing, Brody CHOKES him, then brings him around to whip hard into steel steps! Edge flops to the floor but Brody hoots and barks. Brody drags Edge back up, CHOPS him again, and Edge again leans against barriers. Brody CHOKES Edge on the barriers again, and lets off when he feels like it! Brody CHOPS Edge again, SMACKS him off steel steps, and Edge falls back. Brody looks under the ring, and he brings out a chair! Brody puts that in the ring, and then puts another chair in, and another chair in!

Brody storms back over to where he left Edge, stands him up and CHOPS him again! Brody ROCKS Edge, stalks him, but Edge hits back! Brody DECKS Edge in return! Brody kicks Edge around, taunts him, and hears the fans rallying. Brody goes looking under the ring, and as if to oblige, he brings out a TABLE! Only to put it back under! Brody finishes trolling the fans to then SMACK Edge off the steel steps! Brody ROCKS Edge, CHOKES him against the apron, then CLUBS Edge as he lets off! Dynamite returns to single picture just as Callis says this is closer to a mauling than a match. Brody then CHOPS Edge!

Edge staggers away, Brody storms up after him, and Brody CHOPS him again! Brody has Edge take a seat, then he hoots and barks as he goes to the other end. Brody runs back in, but Edge moves and Brody CROSSBODIES into railing! The fans fire up while Brody falls and writhes! Edge sits up and he grabs the chair. Edge uses the chair to help him stand, and then he aims to SMACK Brody on the back! The fans cheer, and Edge SMACKS Brody again! And SMACKS him again! The fans fire up and chant, “One More Time! One More Time!” Edge SMACKS Brody as to oblige! Edge then puts that chair in the ring before he brings Brody around.

Edge ROCKS Brody, puts him on the apron, and then brings him up. The fans fire up as Edge goes to fireman’s carry! Brody ELBOWS Edge, reels him in, but Edge fights the lift! Brody still tries, but Edge powers out to CLAW Brody’s face! Brody swings, Edge ducks and then kicks low! IMPALER on the chair!! Both men fall to the floor and the fans are thunderous! Edge is a bit dizzy but he still has a wild look in his eyes. Edge shakes it off, rises up, and the fans fire up as he goes back for Brody. The fans still want tables, but Edge sits Brody up. Brody is busted open something fierce, and Edge punches right on that bloody forehead! But Brody just smiles?!

Edge throws down more hands, but Brody SPITS at him! Edge SLAPS Brody, then puts him in the ring! Edge hobbles over to a corner, gets up top, and Brody stands, into the CROSSBODY! Cover, TWO! Brody is still in this but Edge doesn’t lose focus. The fans also still want tables, so Edge goes back outside. Edge grabs one more chair, brings that in, and he busts off the crossbar! He wedges the rest of the chair into a corner, then picks up that bar! But Brody DISCUS LARIATS first!! Brody’s head is pouring blood and it paints the canvas, but Brody still stands to RAM Edge into his own chair! Brody snarls through his crimson mask as Dynamite goes back to picture in picture!

Brody roars, runs in, but Edge clips his legs! Edge has the CROSSFACE!! Brody endures, fights around, reaches out, but No DQ means no ropebreaks, too! So Brody goes for the crossbar! Edge grabs it first, and puts it in Brody’s mouth!! Brody endures the Toronto dental work! Edge pulls way back on that bar, but Brody refuses to give up! Brody gets his arm free, fights around, has the ropes, and drags Edge into them to scrape him off the hold! Both men are down, catching their breath, but Edge rises up. Edge goes out the other end, and he brings out that table! Brody did show him where it is, after all.

Edge brings that table around to the ramp side and sets it up. Edge then goes back for Brody at the corner, and climbs up! Edge drags Brody up, and is taking aim at the table! Brody fires body shots, but Edge SMACKS Brody off the buckle! Brody ROCKS Edge, then HOTSHOTS him against the corner crossbar! Edge flops to the floor and Brody storms his way over. Brody drags Edge up, puts him in the ring, but then drags him up by the ropes. Brody takes aim at the table now! Edge fights the suplex, throws body shots, then ROCKS Brody! Brody wobbles, Edge ROCKS him again! Dynamite returns to single picture as Edge throws more forearms!

Brody clings to the rope, ducks the next shot, and has a SLEEPER! Brody’s used this exact set-up to win big before, and he drags Edge up for a HANGING SLEEPER! Only for Edge to THROW him off the top! Edge runs up, DOUBLE LARIATS collide! Neither man falls, DOUBLE LARIATS collide again! Then DOUBLE BOOTS bring both men down! The fans are thunderous again, “This is Awesome!” as both men rise. Brody throws a forearm, Edge throws one back, and they keep going as they both stand. The fans are behind Edge and he gets the edge, until Brody ROLLING ELBOWS! But Edge fireman’s carries!? Only to fall under Brody’s weight! Cover, TWO!!

Even with the crimson mask, we can see Brody is frustrated. Brody puts Edge in a corner, hoots as he goes corner to corner, then runs in to CANNONBALL! Cover, TWO!! Edge survives and even Callis is surprised! Brody grows further frustrated, and he storms around to get Edge up. Brody reels him in, Canadian Racks, but Edge fights free! EDGE-O-MATIC! Both men are down and floundering! The fans still want that table to be a factor, and Edge has a wild look in his eyes. Edge goes to a corner, takes aim at Brody, and he runs in to- NO, Brody stuffs the spear! PILEDRIVER!! Edge flounders away to the outside, but Brody pursues!

Both men are on the apron again, but Edge still tries to fireman’s carry!?! APRON DEATH VALLEY DRIVER!! Both men are down and the fans lose their minds! Edge drags himself into the ring, Brody drags himself up with the ropes. Edge builds speed to SPEAR Brody off the apron and down through the table!!! The fans are thunderous and losing their minds all over again! Edge gets out of the wreckage, crawls around the way, and then Brody drags himself up again. Both men get in the ring, Edge runs in to SPEAR!!! Cover, Edge wins!!

Winner: Adam “Edge” Copeland, by pinfall (still AEW TNT Champion)

Another hellacious battle with The House of Black and Adam Copeland comes out on top! But wait, Brody CLOBBERS him!! Brody is a sore loser as he rains down fists! The fans boo and the ref reprimands, but here comes Kyle O’Reilly! Kyle runs in to fire off fast hands on Brody! Brody shoves Kyle back, but Kyle dodges to fire off more strikes! Edge gets up to add on! The Canadian connection double clotheslines Brody up and out! The fans fire up as Edge and #CombatKyle stand tall together! Will The House of Black have to rethink their game plan now that Edge isn’t alone?

Backstage interview with Mercedes Mone.

Arkady is ow with The CEO and notes we are just weeks away from her match at Double or Nothing. AEW goes back to Las Vegas, the very place it all began five years ago. So it is fitting that it will be where Mone has her first ever AEW match. IS she ready to face Willow Nightingale? Mone says we are just 18 days away from her in-ring return. And she has to say, she is so excited! She is so close to making her return to the sport that she loves so very, very much. And here in AEW, this is where the best wrestle! Mone thrives in that spotlight, she thrives under pressure, and she is only getting started.

Tomorrow, Mone will be courtside for the Boston Celtics’ playoff game. Then Saturday, she will be throwing out the first pitch for the Red Sox. And when she’s not promoting AEW, she is in the ring, in that gym, every single day. So to answer the question: YES! She is ready for Willow at Double or Nothing. But as far as Willow goes, she took something from Mone that she will never get back, and that is time. She lost a year of her career, and all she could think of were these haunting questions of, “Why? Why did this happen to me?” She wondered if she’d ever return to the ring. And if she did, would she still be as good as she used to be?

Mone says DAMN RIGHT she will! She’s on a whole new level! She is back with a vengeance, because she is that b*tch. Willow got her great run because of Mone. But Mone will show Willow why there’s the asterisk over that victory. At Double or Nothing, Mone is going to take more than just Willow’s title, she will wipe that stupid smile off her face! So enjoy your time as champ, Willow. Because in Vegas, Mone changes everything. The CEO is ready, but will she be able to cash that massive receipt she’s been holding onto?

Backstage interview with Edge and Kyle O’Reilly.

Lexy is with The Rated R Superstar and #CombatKyle to congratulate Edge on his win against Brody King. Then we saw Kyle come to the rescue. How does it feel to find an ally in this battle with The House of Black? Edge says it’s a relief. He thanks Kyle for that, Brody is one bad dude. Kyle says he knows Edge went through Hell just now, and is glad to help out against The House, but he also has a favor to ask. Collision returns this Saturday, and they’re in Kyle’s hometown. The Cope Open still open? Edge asks if that’s the only reason Kyle helped out there, to get closer to the TNT title. Well, if so, well played.

So yeah, Vancouver, Collision, Cope Open for the TNT Championship, Kyle’s on. They shake on it, and Edge says may the best man win. Will Edge be able to win twice in one week? Or is Kyle showing that he can be the new ultimate opportunist?

The Elite walk out on stage.

Nicholas has a mic to say, “Hey, how’s it going, huh? We know the main event just happened, but guess what? This show doesn’t end until WE say it’s over!” Matthew says it’s fine, he just buzzed the network, they’re getting a bit of an overrun, because The Elite have an important message. Nick says first thing on the agenda tonight, in this terrible country of Canada (fans boo), is Mr. Rainmaker, Kazuchika Okada! He has a note for Kenny Omega. Okada takes the mic to say, “Hey, Kenny! The Best Bout Machine says… Get well soon. MWAH!”

Matt says that’s right. And speaking of unwell people, we all know Tony Khan is watching at home in Jacksonville! Matt just wants to say, TK is the best boss they could ever work for, and they hope he feels better soon, too. Matt just wishes TK got out of his own way and realized that The Bucks were never here to hurt AEW. They were here to make AEW a better place! So what’d TK do? He got in their way and left them with no choice but to give Tony Khan a Tony Khan Driver. And as for Kenny Omega, he is the one who decided to end their 15 year long friendship! So what’d they have to do? They had to give an EVP an EVP Trigger!

Nick chuckles, and tells Kenny that the only reason why FTR saved him is not because they like him. It’s that they hate The Bucks! FTR, guess what?! Anarchy in the Arena, is that what you want!? Then Anarchy in the Arena is what you’re gonna get! The fans do like that. Nick wishes them luck in finding two men with big enough balls to face The Elite! They run this show! But wait, here comes FTR! Dax Harwood & Cash Wheeler step on stage as the fans cheer, and Dax has the mic to say, “So I knew going into this fight, it wasn’t gonna be easy finding a couple of guys who’d stand with us and fight The EVPs of this company.

“But after a little bit of convincing, those big balls you’re talking about? I think we found a couple of guys who got big enough balls for the job.” EDDIE KINGSTON is one, and the other? BRYAN DANIELSON!?! The American Dragon is back, the fans all chant “YES! YES! YES!” and Team AEW storms down to the ring! The Elite want them all to settle down, and Matt says to not even think about laying one finger on them! But then Eddie fires the first shot! The brawl is on, the fans are thunderous, and while Eddie has Matt, Cash has Nick, Dax has Jack and Bryan has Okada! The refs and security rush out but this is already anarchy in this arena!

Edmonton wants to “LET THEM FIGHT! LET THEM FIGHT!” but nothing is going to stop these eight when AEW returns to Las Vegas! Who wins out when these teams go Double or Nothing for the whole enchilada?

My Thoughts:

A great Dynamite, though it also had the familiar feel of a lot more stuff stuffed in than it probably needed. At first, I felt Mone could’ve probably waited to respond to Willow on Collision, but then surprise, she revealed she’s busy this Saturday so she wouldn’t be able to. Willow and Mone both had good promos, but sadly, it’s just been the same details again and again about the accidental injury in their NJPW Strong Women’s Championship match and all that, but it’s still hard to say who wins out.

Serena Deeb’s promo was good but she might need to work on hooking the fans faster, they were starting to go into business for themselves. But when Storm showed up, things picked up, and Deeb knocking Storm out was great. It also helped the story of Mariah & Mina along, as Mariah was all alone against The Outcasts. Good win for Mariah, good save for Mina, #RoseGold VS Outcasts at Double Or Nothing to help that story along more probably? And then, whether Storm retains or not, she and Mina can fight over Mariah.

Great match from Cassidy VS Trent, and Callis being on commentary added to the storytelling element. Great win for Cassidy, but of course Trent was going to be a sore loser. I still find it odd Callis is recruiting Cassidy, but I suppose it can’t be “all about #JustTrent” if Trent joins another faction. And I wonder if this is a pivot for the Don Callis Family story since Will Hobbs is hurt from that IWGP World title match a couple weeks ago. Ospreay and Cassidy have been rivals before, but I still just cannot picture Cassidy as a Heel. It’s even harder to picture Callis going Face if he’s to pal around with Cassidy.

Good promo from Rocky with Cassidy ahead of Rocky’s match with White, but it kinda goes against what he said last week where he’s washing his hands of the whole issue. Feels like they just needed someone to lose to White and couldn’t get someone on an equal skill level of Rocky. Bang Bang Gang still had a good promo with Pac, though, but I wonder if Pac and Cassidy become unlikely allies in a trio. Pac did imply he was letting Lucha Bros focus on Lucha Bros, no more Death Triangle, but who knows. It’d also be nice to get a team like Lance Archer & The Righteous going since they’ve been going back and forth between AEW and ROH. Maybe if TK didn’t drop the ball with The Dark Order’s revitalization, they could be contenders, too.

Fun squash win for Jericho & Bill, and good promo from Jericho that also set up the news that Hook is coming back. I feel like we could even get a tag match of Jericho & Bill VS Hook & Shibata before we get Jericho VS Hook in a rematch, probably at Double or Nothing because just like Dynasty, they’ll just shove stuff into it. Great promo segment from Swerve with Christian Cage, and while I figured The Embassy would back Swerve up, I also had a strong sense something was going to change. The Embassy stayed Heel despite Swerve making the slow turn to Face, so this revolt was inevitable. Swerve is all alone now, outside of Prince Nana, but all the more reason he’s going to rise up and retain at Double or Nothing.

Awesome match with Edge and Brody King, but AEW needs to be really careful with this blading bleeding stuff, Brody’s face was covered in his blood almost immediately. Good promo from Malakai, and Edge won of course because Malakai and Edge are going to face off at Double or Nothing. I do appreciate that Kyle is getting a match for Vancouver, as he promised everyone would happen the last time we saw him. And even if Kyle’s gonna lose, he’ll give Edge an awesome match.

And speaking of, naturally we’re bringing Anarchy in the Arena back. Kenny Omega might have just done the impossible, he got Eddie and Bryan truly on the same page. Those two teamed up in one of these matches before, but they were still on unfriendly terms and couldn’t just beat up on Jericho together. Now that it’s The Young Bucks, Jack Perry & Okada, and after they finally had it out more recently, Eddie and Bryan are definitely going to work together so that they and FTR can win. From there, we should see FTR VS Bucks Round 5 set up for no later than All In London 2024, ultimate tiebreaker right there.

And y’know what? Forbidden Door is in June, so let’s get Bryan VS Okada for the Continental Championship, and then Eddie VS Jack for the NJPW Strong Openweight title, as these stories have all crossed back and forth between AEW and NJPW. Fans of both AEW and NJPW between both American and Japan will want to see Bryan VS Okada one more time, and then The Scapegoat can bring The House of Torture into things because of his NJPW connections. Continuity, folks! It matters!

My Score: 8.8/10

8 Man Tag: Will Ospreay, Mark Davis, Ricochet & “Powerhouse” Will Hobbs VS The Don Callis Family!

This All-Star 8 Man is going to make for a massive match! The Aerial Assassin, Dunk Zilla, The One & Only and the man the family foolishly forgot are now teamed together against Konosuke Takeshita, Kyle Fletcher, Brian Cage & Lance Archer! Will Ospreay lead this team to victory ahead of the grudge matches at Full Gear? Or will Callis’ Alpha, Aussie Arrow, Machine & Murderhawk Monster make sure #EverybodyDies?

Well forget sorting out, Ospreay leads his team in attacking the Callis Family right on the ramp! The fans fire up as Hobbs is after Archer, Davis is after Cage, and of course Ricochet is after Konosuke while Ospreay is after Kyle! Hobbs smacks Archer off railing, Kyle CLUBS Ospreay on the back, but Ospreay kicks low. Ospreay sends Kyle into railing, rips the tearaway pants right off him, and then LASHES him with them! Davis sends Cage into railing while Ospreay uses those pants to SLING Kyle into more railing! Davis CLUBS away on Cage, Ospreay blows snot on Kyle’s pants, and Davis sends Cage into more railing.

Kyle turns things around to send Ospreay into railing! Konosuke helps Cage against Davis but Hobbs still throws hands on Archer. Kyle CLUBS Ospreay, CLUBS Ricochet, but Konosuke puts Davis in the ring. The bell rings and this is finally a match. Konosuke headlocks Davis but Davis fires body shots. Davis powers up and out, but Konosuke RAMS him! The fans fire up as Davis stays up. Davis runs to RAM Konosuke! Konosuke stays up and the fans rally. Konosuke runs to RAM Davis, but Davis runs. Konosuke bypasses, leaps, but Davis catches him for a TOSS! And a SENTON! The fans fire up with Davis, and Ricochet reaches out.

Davis tags Ricochet in , then holds the way open, for Ricochet to FOSBURY FLOP onto Konosuke! But Cage CLOBBERS Davis! Cage then RAMS Ricochet into the apron, POSTS him, but Ospreay PENALTY KICKS Cage! The fans fire up as Ospreay goes up, but Kyle UPPERCUTS him! The fans boo as Kyle goes up, CLUBS away on Ospreay, and Ospreay falls to the floor. But now Hobbs is up! Kyle says wait! Then he fires hands! Hobbs just CHOPS Kyle! Hobbs climbs up to get Kyle, but Archer CLUBS Hobbs! Archer drags Hobbs down, throws hands, then puts Hobbs in between steps and post! Hobbs fights back, but Cage sends Ospreay into the steps!

The fans boo as Hobbs’ leg is crushed between steps and post! Archer puts Ricochet in the ring while a medic checks Hobbs. Archer brings Ricochet up but Ricochet slips free to fire off fast strikes! Hobbs is being helped to the back and Ospreay is concerned that this is now 4v3. Ricochet still fires strikes on Archer, but Archer grabs Ricochet by the neck! CHOKE- NO, Ricochet RANAS Archer first! Archer tumbles, stands up, and Ricochet springboards, but Archer CLOBBERS Him out of the sky! Archer BLASTS Davis, then catches Ospreay out of the air! Archer TOSSES Ospreay away and fans boo. But Ricochet springboards back in!

Archer catches Ricochet, and he CHOKE SLAMS Ricochet out onto Ospreay and Davis! The fans boo as the Don Callis Family is in control, and Dynamite goes picture in picture.

Cage & Kyle flex to soak up the heat, then Archer goes out after Ospreay and the rest. Konosuke fetches Ricochet into the ring, waistlocks, and then brings him away from the corner. Archer beats up on Ospreay while Konosuke fires knees into Ricochet. Ricochet tumbles to ropes but Konosuke is on him. Davis fires hands on Archer, then sends him into railing! Davis fires more hands, but Konosuke CHOKES Ricochet at the ropes! The ref counts, Konosuke steps off and tags Kyle. Kyle stays between Ricochet and his corner. Kyle taunts Ricochet, stomps him around, then whips him to ropes. Kyle ELBOWS Ricochet down, then stalks him to a corner.

Jon Moxley & The Death Riders speak.

“Despite recent discoveries that Orange Cassidy is a snake, coldblooded, uncaring, unmoving, a serpent lurking in the darkest corners of the battlefield, my objective remains the same, my job on Saturday night remains the same. You may be this borderline sociopath, you may be a great guy just like everybody thinks. I don’t care if you’re a great guy. I don’t care what kind of person you are. When the bell rings on Saturday night, and the AEW World Championship hangs in the balance, you are a threat to my people. And I will destroy you.

“There’s so much more going on behind Orange Cassidy’s eyes than any of us could’ve imagined. You may make it to Full Gear with your mind in tact, but your body… For that matter, Darby Allin’s body… Still up for grabs.” Claudio jumps in, speaking in German about what he’ll do to Darby. Then in English, he says, “Tonight, I’m gonna end you.” Moxley pats Claudio on the shoulder. Will The Maniac’s top henchmen do his dirty work for him when they dismantle Cassidy & Darby? Or will it just be fuel on the fire for Freshly Squeezed & The Relentless One? Speaking of…

Darby Allin speaks.

“Claudio, I’m gonna keep this really short. Let’s not forget you’re the one who put the chair around Bryan’s neck and pulled the trigger on his career. Every single one of you Death Riders will have your day. And Claudio, today’s your day.” Will Moxley’s men be dealt with in brutal fashion before he suffers the same?

The Hurt Syndicate arrive.

Renee Paquette waits in the parking lot as an SUV pulls up, and she welcomes Montel Vontavious Porter, Shelton Benjamin & Bobby Lashley to the show. She heard MVP has a surprise in store, what’s he got planned? MVP says yes, there is a special treat for the AEW audience, and that is this announcement: The All Mighty Bobby Lashley will be in action here tonight on Dynamite in Reading, Pennsylvania, prior to his PPV debut on Saturday! Renee asks if MVP is at all concerned to put Lashley in a match- OH NO, Swerve attacks!! Swerve knocks Lashley over, then laughs as he gets away!

Shelton helps Lashley up but that ambush might’ve been with Swerve’s own silver chain. Will Lashley elect not to compete tonight after all? Or is he about to make an example out of whatever poor soul is put in front of him?

Adam Cole is here!

Reading fires up as the Panama City Playboy makes his way to the ring. They join in with the “BOOM!” and “ADAM COLE, BAYBAY!” Cole grabs a mic to ask, “Who’s ready for Storytime with Adam Cole, Baybay?” Reading sure is ready! Cole wishes so so badly that he could get his hands on MJF this Saturday, but he’s not. MJF did everything in his power to make sure he and Cole didn’t fight on Saturday, and he succeeded. But do you know who else succeeded last week? Roderick Strong did! The fans cheer as Cole says he and Roddy have the exact same goal: Give MJF the ass whooping of a lifetime! And that is exactly what happens at Full Gear!

The fans cheer, and wait, Kyle O’Reilly makes his way out here. The longtime friend of Cole & Roddy makes his way out here, and already has a mic. Kyle isn’t sure if Cole remembers, but 14 years ago, right here in Reading, PA, Cole and Kyle had their second match ever against each other. They’ve come a long way. Being associated with Cole has given Kyle some incredible highs, and some serious lows. And through those lows, Kyle knows Cole better than anyone. Which makes Kyle the only one willing to tell Cole the truth. The truth is, this crusade against MJF has got to end before someone gets hurt.

This obsession, Cole needs to wash his hands of it. His ankle has already been reconstructed, what’s next? Cole has friends willing to take a bullet for him, Kyle included, but Cole has got to stop having his friends fight his battles. Roddy barely makes it out alive last week, and now he wants to fight MJF! He wants to END MJF, all because of Cole. Kyle just doesn’t have a good feeling about any of this. Cole asks Kyle what he’s trying to say here. Kyle doesn’t think Roddy can handle MJF? Kyle asks Cole if he really thinks MJF isn’t already three steps ahead. MJF hasn’t been here for weeks but he’s pulling all the strings.

Cole should know that dealing with MJF is like playing with fire, and Kyle doesn’t wanna see his friends get burned. Cole needs to realize why so many of his friends are willing to go to war for him, and it’s because he is a great leader, an elite pro-wrestler, and a great friend, who doesn’t wanna see his friends get hurt. At least, so Kyle thinks. But Cole has to face facts: MJF is more of an evil bastard than Cole will ever be, and that is a good thing. Kyle drops his mic and walks away. Cole drops his mic, and has a lot to think about. Does Kyle have a point? Can Cole just let Roddy handle MJF and then move on?

Orange Cassidy speaks.

“A little later tonight, I’m gonna make an example out of you, Wheeler Yuta. And I’m gonna show everybody exactly what I’m gonna do this Saturday to you, Jon Moxley. And that’s walk down to that ring and beat you, alone.” But The Conglomeration steps in. Mark Briscoe has Rocky Romero & Tomohiro Ishii with him as he asks Cassidy, “What sense does that make, man?” Moxley said himself, there’s five Death Riders, one Cassidy. Conglomeration has his back, they are here for him. Cassidy says no, no one else needs to get hurt. Get hurt? What’s Cassidy talking about? The Conglomeration are ready to scrap!

PLEASE!! Cassidy is asking them… They don’t have to believe him or even understand him. But just promises him they’ll stay back here. If Cassidy insists, then so be it. Cassidy says there you have it, Jon. Five of you, one of him. Do what you’re gonna do. Because at Full Gear, Moxley’s gonna need all the help he can get. Cassidy is himself wanting the best for his friends, but will that work out for the betterment of AEW? Or is he just playing into Moxley’s hands?

The #BornAgainKristen bodied the bullies that are Mercedes Mone & Kamille the last time she saw them, but she still needs to tune up for Full Gear. Winner: Kris Statlander, by pinfall

Shida gave Kris a powerful match, but clearly Shida has to iron out her own crisis of confidence. Kris still shows Shida respect by helping her up. But wait, here comes Mercedes Mone & Kamille! The fans boo The CEO & Brickhouse but Mone has a mic. “Readiiiiing~! Say hello to your C E O!” The fans boo instead. Mone asks Kamille if she wants to hear a fun fact about Pennsylvania. The 76ers have had yet another terrible season! Embarrassing~! But shoutouts to Mone’s Celtics for another incredible victory. The fans boo Boston but Mone says another person with an incredible win was Kris Statlander. Mone is rarely impressed by her competition.

Does anyone else want to hear another fun fact? “NO!!” Well, Mone has held the TBS Championship longer than Kris! So at Full Gear, Mone will NOT lose, because she is The CEO, the greatest TBS Champion of all time! And she will NEVER lose this title! Fans tell The CEO to STFU, but Mone tells Kamille go get the job done! She is so pissed off! GO! NOW! Kamille walks up the steps past Mone, but with only one good arm! You and I are on that same path to that same destination, trying to grasp at that same prize. 2024 still has some time left for The Switchblade to share the spotlight with Hangman once more!” But the Blackhat Cowboy asks White if he knows “Who the hell I am?! They are planning their Championship Champagne Celebration for Full Gear, BUT Friday Night Rampage will feature the two of them teaming up for the first time in just over a year. Backstage interview with Private Party.

Renee is with Marq Quen & Isiah Kassidy and brings up that at Full Gear, the AEW World Tag Team Championships are on the line in a Fatal 4 Way. Private Party takes on The Acclaimed, The Outrunners and The Kings of the Black Throne. In such a match, the champs do NOT have to be pinned or submitted to lose their titles, so what is their strategy? Brother Zay says they obviously can’t tell her that, the other teams are watching. But it seems like the odds are against them. Fortunately, the odds have been against them their whole lives, their whole careers, just like against The Young Bucks.

But look what happened: Private Party defied the odds, beat The Bucks, and are your AEW World Tag Team Champions. That is the same thing that happens on Saturday. They leave Newark, New Jersey still your tag team champions. Because there ain’t no party like a Private Party, that’s a flex. Oh, speaking of! It’s AJ & Big Justice! They’re fired up to be here, but Justice wants to know what that face Zay made was last week. Oh, right, this one, with the chin scratching. And AJ says they’ve got a BIG announcement coming up after this! Maybe some double chunk chocolate cookies? BOOM!!

A green Porsche Taycan pulls up to the middle of nowhere.

And out steps MJF. The Wolf of Wrestling tells the hobo to “go get it” as he throws spare change off to the side like birdseed. MVP then sits back and tells Roderick Strong, “You’ve been through so much. The kid who grew up trailer park trash with two abusive alcoholic parents. For crying out loud! Your own mother shot your father right in front of you. That’s traumatizing. And as you know, Roddy, trauma is the result of an overwhelming sense of danger, powerlessness and fear. However, healing is a result of feeling safe, empowered and supported. That’s why you’d do anything for Cole. He makes you feel all those positive things that you lacked.

“It’s why I was no different than you. It’s why I trusted him. Unfortunately, the difference between you and I: Cole for me was a mirage of what I wanted him to be. A fraud, a liar. And whilst Cole is a fraud, I do actually believe deep down, in his narcissistic, sociopathic, frail, feeble frame, is a man who cares about Roderick Strong. This is precisely why upon further contemplation, I am happy you won, Roddy. Because I want Adam Cole to watch a person he cares about suffer! And because of your White trash upbringing, you aren’t intelligent enough to realize that you don’t have a prayer. And I’m sending you back to where you belong. To your grimy little trailer park.

“And after the match, you’ll be in so much physical anguish, you’ll wish your mother hadn’t shot your father, but instead shot you.” As if this scumbag couldn’t stoop any lower, he brings up Roddy’s past to hurt him. But will Roddy make sure MJF’s future is the one full of pain and suffering?

Backstage interview with AJ & Big Justice.

Renee is with the Costco Tiktok sensations and says that in the Full Gear Zero Hour, we will see #BigBoomAJ take on QT Marshall in a match 20 YEARS in the making. AJ says it may have been 20 years in the making for QT, this all started for AJ when QT threw the double chunk chocolate cookies down! Renee says AJ has not been in the ring in those 20 years, is he concerned about how his body will hold up? AJ isn’t worried about that, because he just has one strategy, and that’s the strategy they use each and every day. That strategy is to bring the BOOM~! But hey, there’s another special announcement.

Because when AJ rings QT’s bell, and he Power-Booms QT right in the middle of that ring, there is only one guy they want ringing the bell: Big Justice’s best friend, THE RIZZLER! Time to bring the BOOM~! Will QT be sleeping on the mat for The Rizzler? Will he be skibidi? Fanum Tax? Why are those even words?

Tony Schiavone is on stage.

And he welcomes out The Undisputed Kingdom! The fans cheer as Roderick Strong makes his way out, accompanied by Matt Taven & Mike Bennett. Schiavone brings up Roddy VS MJF at Full Gear, and we just heard all that disgusting stuff MJF had to say. Roddy’s response is that to be honest, he has not slept a wink since last week. IT is finally happening! Roddy feels like a kid on Christmas morning. He finally gets his hands on “MAAAAAX~!” The fans echo that, and Roddy says if MJF was here tonight, and not hiding out there, Roddy would ask him: Is Roddy supposed to be ashamed of his childhood?

Is Roddy supposed to be ashamed of his parents? You don’t think Roddy’s heard that stuff before? His whole LIFE, that is what people brought up! His mom’s an addict, his dad’s an addict, mom shot dad. Good job, Max, you made Roddy feel like he was in elementary school again. And people may look at Roddy’s past and feel sorry for him, but Roddy asks us not to. Because looking at MJF, Roddy feels sorry for him. Understand this, Max. With Roddy’s life, he learned that to get the most out of life, you have to earn it. If you wanna break the cycle, you have to earn it. And that is what Roddy’s done ever since he was a kid!

And now looking at MJF, he’s been spoon-fed everything. And when something doesn’t go his way or something happens and he doesn’t like it, MJF throws a temper tantrum like a baby until that changes. So Roddy wants MJF to do something for him: Look in the mirror and think about all the things that MJF has done to people. The manipulating, the backstabbing, the using. MJF needs to realize, when the bell rings at Full Gear, MJF will pay for all those sins. With every chop, with every punch, with every elbow, with every backbreaker! And when it is all over, Roddy walks to his hotel room for the best night of sleep in his life because he earned it.

Especially because Roddy will know he has broken MJF’s back, and left him humbled! Roddy is all fired up, and the fans are with him! Will MJF finally get what’s coming to him? Or will he give Roddy nightmares for the rest of his life?

AEW shares footage taken from last Saturday night.

First, a recap video of Daniel Garcia thwarting Jack Perry’s attempts to abduct and torture Matthew Menard, as well as the joyride they took in the Scapegoat bus, with Perry as the hood ornament. And now, they have Perry strapped into a chair, the bus headlights as the only source of light. Menard is behind the camera as he asks Perry how he’s feeling. How’d that work out for him, huh? Garcia splashes Perry with water to wake him up, and says “Let’s have a conversation. I’m all ears.” Perry chuckles and says Garcia thinks he’s so much better than him. Look at where they are! Garcia shouts back that he doesn’t wanna be here!

Garcia just wants to wrestle, but AEW is full of savages! Perry tried to take Daddy Magic’s life! And those in power just sit back and watch, pretending that nothing’s going on. So what do they do? Gotta take the power back, right? Perry counters with, “Everybody’s got a code. Everybody cares about right and wrong until it costs them something. Until they have to SACRIFICE!” Garcia gets in Perry’s face, grabs him by the mouth, and says Perry’s always going on about sacrifice but Perry has no idea what Garcia’s had to go through! Perry has NO idea what Garcia’s had to sacrifice to be here!

Garcia knows where Perry wants him to go, but Garcia promises that he’s never gonna go there. Perry smirks, then SPITS in Garcia’s face. Garcia wipes that off his face and says bet. Garcia’s got something for Perry, so just wait right there. Garcia goes to the bus while Perry mockingly asks what he’s gonna do. Menard tells shut up, Jack! Life must be so hard for him! What’s Jack got to be sad about?! Garcia comes back and he has a crowbar! Perry dares him to go ahead. Garcia raises the bar, but he SMASHES up the bus! Garcia throws the crowbar away and Perry laughs. Is that it? Garcia tells Menard they’ll get out of here. What? Where’s Garcia going?

Perry says yeah, walk away. Menard tells Perry that Garcia’s gonna whoop his ass! Just wait! Menard leaves, Perry shouts into the night, but will The Face of TNT soon be the one sacrificed for the greater good?

Renee Paquette presides over the ROH World Championship contract signing.

She welcomes us backstage to the signing for this match, which will happen next week, Dynamite: Thanksgiving Eve, in Chicago. The challenger, Tomohiro Ishii, is on her left, and the champion, Chris Jericho, is on her right. Jericho, as champion, you have the honors to sign first. Jericho smiles and waves as he says, “Hi, guys.” But Renee, you should know better. A champion of Jericho’s caliber does not just sign a contract thrust at his face randomly. He has a whole legal team that needs to approve this contract. Renee says it was sent to said legal team last week. Oh, really? What about today? The now! Jericho lives in the now!

Jericho says he’ll get this checked by his legal eagles one more time. But for now, wait here. Choto matte kudesai. Jericho steps around the corner and then down the hall. He smiles at his own picture on the wall. What a good looking guy. But wait, Ishii has followed Jericho to the hall. Jericho is a bit worried as he keeps moving. Jericho tries to block Ishii’s path but a trash can isn’t enough. Jericho tells staffers that Ishii wants to talk to them. They step in the way but Ishii pushes them aside. Jericho moves faster, pushes more people in the way, but Ishii pushes them aside. Was that RJ City?

Jericho goes up some stairs but Ishii follows. Ishii’s even gaining ground! Jericho goes through a doorway and ends up in the concourse! Fans cheer as Jericho and Ishii keep up their cat ‘n’ mouse game. Jericho decides to go into the stands! Ishii follows, and they head down the bleachers towards ringside! Jericho hurries over railing but so does Ishii. They go into the ring, and now Jericho tells Ishii to stop following him! Jericho wants a mic, a mic is brought, and Jericho says hey, listen, Ishii. Jericho would sign this contract, but he doesn’t have a pen. Ishii has a pen! Oh. Ishii clicks it for Jericho, and pushes it into him.

Jericho takes the pen, looks at the contract again, and still hesitates. Jericho signs his part, and then hands things over to Ishii. But then BRYAN KEITH & BIG BILL ATTACK! It was all a massive set-up! Bad Apple & Redwood beat down Stone Pitbull, and then sit him up! Jericho has the pen ready, but here comes The Conglomeration! Mark Briscoe & Rocky Romero rush in, and Mark TACKLES Jericho! Rocky fires off on Bill while Mark CHOKES Jericho! Keith saves Jericho from Mark but Mark fires hands on Keith! The fans fire up, but then Bill SKYSCRAPER- NO, Mark UPPERCUTS Bill first! Rocky adds on!

The fans fire up as The Conglomeration pinballs Bill, and then Ishii CLOBBERS him! Bill tumbles out, but Rocky DIVES! Bill is sent into railing! Keith stands up, into a kick and underhooks! JAY DRILLER! Jericho stands up, Ishii has him, and hits a BRAINBUSTER!! Conglomeration stands tall over The Learning Tree and his Branches, and now Ishii signs his part! The match is now official, and Ishii is looking to take a bite out of Jericho! Will The Conglomeration have the ROH World Championship to be thankful for this year?

Backstage interview with Jamie Hayter.

Renee is with the former AEW Women’s World Champion and notes that last time, we were going to hear from her, only for her to be interrupted by Julia Hart. What is Hayter’s reaction to that? Well, yeah, she isn’t angry, but she is baffled why Julia chose to interrupt Hayter. They’ve never really spoken or interacted, or even wrestled each other. Hayter is just curious as to why Julia felt it was okay to do that. Granted, Julia can do whatever she wants, Hayter moves to the beat of her own drum just as much as Julia. But… if Julia wants to have a chat-

Uh oh, something is happening to the video! Brody King’s message echoes, “It’s time to come home.” Julia Hart walks through the woods. Brody says The House is her foundation. She has seen her rebirth. Now it is time to rebuild. She has woken up stronger, more determined, and more dangerous than ever. Julia aims her arrow to shoot down a target: her past self. Her obstacles are just bull’s eyes. She is the Princess of the Black Throne, and the Keeper of Secrets. She is Julia Hart, and her heart grows harder. She hits her mark, but will she find Hayter Hits Hard?

Orange Cassidy VS Wheeler Yuta!

Freshly Squeezed has been accused of being coldblooded and uncaring, but he got pretty heated as he told The Conglomeration to keep themselves safe tonight. He goes 1v1 with The Decoder, a young man who was once Cassidy’s student, and who left him behind to join the then Blackpool Combat Club. If anyone is uncaring, it is Yuta with how he would then follow Jon Moxley’s lead in the destruction of Bryan Danielson and Chuck Taylor. Who will be the more ferocious fighter tonight, this close to Full Gear?

The bell rings and Yuta SHOTGUNS Cassidy! Yuta follows Cassidy to a corner to CHOP, then ROCK, then CHOP again! Yuta whips corner to corner but Cassidy goes up and out. Cassidy bumps Yuta off buckles, climbs up top, but has to leap over. Yuta comes back but Cassidy catches him to a backslide! TWO, but Cassidy reels Yuta in for a cradle! TWO! Yuta pulls on an ear! But Cassidy arm-drags and wrangles Yuta into the SEATBELT! TWO!! Yuta escapes and the fans fire up as these two stand off. Yuta huffs ‘n’ puffs, but Cassidy shows he wants a grapple. They feel things out, knuckle lock, but Cassidy blocks a kick!

Cassidy reels Yuta in for a headlock, but Yuta powers up and out. Cassidy ducks ‘n’ rolls, tilt-o-whirls, but Yuta suplexes! Into STUN DOG MILLIONAIRE! Yuta tumbles out and fans fire up! Cassidy builds speed to DIVE! Down goes Yuta and the fans fire up again! Cassidy brings Yuta up, whips, but Yuta reverses to reel Cassidy in! Cassidy fights the suplex, but then Yuta fights a suplex. Yuta suplexes, to RAILING BRAINBUSTER!! Cassidy writhes and fans are stunned! Yuta stomps Cassidy, then leaves him behind for the ring count. Cassidy crawls into the ring, Yuta exposes a crossbar, and then he GRINDS Cassidy’s face into the steel!

The fans boo, the ref reprimands, but Yuta steps off at 4. Cassidy seethes as he rises up, but Yuta has him at the corner. Cassidy kicks Yuta’s legs out and Yuta falls onto a turnbuckle! Yuta falls back, Cassidy climbs, but Yuta grabs Cassidy first! Yuta drags Cassidy down but Cassidy fires hands. Yuta squeezes the facelock tight, then hits an APRON DDT! The fans boo Yuta while Cassidy writhes, and Dynamite goes picture in picture.

Cassidy clutches his neck while Yuta waits in the ring. A ring count starts and Yuta eggs Cassidy on. Cassidy reaches up as the count reaches 5 of 10, but he doesn’t sit up until 6. Cassidy hobbles up, stumbles and falls, but springs back to life! He slides in at 9! Only for Yuta to be right on him! Yuta reels Cassidy in, but Cassidy turns that into BEACH BREAK! Cover, TWO!! Yuta survives but Cassidy is too sore to be frustrated. They both sit up, and Yuta crawls his way over to a corner. Cassidy rises, checks his neck, then runs up, but into an ELBOW! Yuta goes up, but Cassidy JUMP FOREARMS! Cassidy positions Yuta just right before he climbs the corner.

Yuta resists but Cassidy still brings Yuta up. Yuta continues to fight the suplex, throws body shots, then shoves Cassidy down. Cassidy rolls back to his feet, runs back up the corner, but Yuta again fights the suplex! Cassidy fires hands, but Yuta fires back! They brawl up top, Cassidy HEADBUTTS Yuta! But Yuta HEADBUTTS back! They both wobble, but then Cassidy BITES Yuta! The ref reprimands, but Cassidy CLAWS Yuta’s back! This is very Moxley of him to do! And then Cassidy hits the SUPERPLEX! Both men are down and the ref checks. They’re both okay to continue, so a standing count begins!

Cassidy sits up, spots Yuta, and heads that way. Yuta sits up, they fire forearms as they stand! Dynamite returns to single picture as these shots go back and forth. The fans fire up for Cassidy but boo Yuta as the shots go faster and faster! Yuta BITES Cassidy’s forehead! Yuta spits then runs, but Cassidy dodges! BODY BLOW! SUPERKICK! Yuta sits down, Cassidy runs, PENALTY KICK! Cassidy slashes his throat, hauls Yuta up, BRAINBUSTER! Cover, TWO!! Yuta survives but Cassidy seethes. Cassidy rains down fists on Yuta! The ref reprimands about closed fists and hair pulling, but Cassidy doesn’t stop until the ref counts 4.

Cassidy stands, and he throws off the elbow pad! Cassidy aims at Yuta, runs up, but Yuta ducks the punch! GERMAN SUPLEX! Yuta runs to CHOP in the corner! And then a wrench and PAIN THRILLER! The fans boo while Yuta seethes and stands over Cassidy. Yuta sits Cassidy up, for HAMMER ‘N’ ANVIL ELBOWS! But Cassidy blocks one! And bends fingers, to then SNAP them! The fans fire up as Cassidy SNAPS finger after finger! Yuta swings, Cassidy BOOTS him, then serves up SOLE FOOD! Scoop and MICHINOKU DRIVER! Cover, TWO!! Cassidy is busting out all his best friends’ best moves, but he hasn’t gotten it done!

Cassidy aims, loads up, and ORANGE- NO, Yuta ducks! Orange fights the suplex, switches to O’Conner Roll! TWO, Yuta dodges Cassidy, scoops him, and CROSS LEG TOMBSTONE!! Cover, TWO?!? Cassidy survives and Yuta is furious! The fans are thunderous, but Yuta rains down HAMMER ‘N’ ANVIL ELBOWS! Cassidy grits his teeth but he’s almost a ragdoll! Yuta lets off to then hook the arms, CATTLE MUTILATION!! Cassidy endures as Yuta thrashes him around! Cassidy powers up as the fans rally, and he kicks around to the ROPEBREAK!! Yuta holds on, the ref counts, and Yuta finally lets go at 4!

The ref reprimands Yuta, but Yuta pushes past the ref to go outside the ring. Yuta grabs a chair! Yuta storms into the ring while the fans boo, and the ref says don’t do it! Cassidy dodges the chair shot! Victory roll, CASSIDY WINS!!

Winner: Orange Cassidy, by pinfall

Yuta is in disbelief! Cassidy beat him with a technical move! Yuta snarls but the ref keeps him back. Cassidy did what he promised in beating Yuta, but then he stares his former student down. Is Cassidy going to offer a handshake? WAIT, PAC ATTACKS! The Bastard BOOTS Cassidy down so we’ll never know what Cassidy was going to do! The fans boo more but Pac & Yuta stand on Cassidy. The rest of the Death Riders appear, and Marina Shafir has duct tape! The AEW World Trios Champions stomp away on Cassidy, like vultures picking the bones. Moxley steps into the ring while Marina hands the tape over to Pac.

Claudio puts Cassidy’s hands in his pockets, and then Pac tapes them in! Cassidy is physically bound, and Moxley paces around. Cassidy is pushed around by all the Death Riders, then Moxley DECKS him! Claudio hauls Cassidy back up, the Death Riders keep bullying him, and then Moxley SLAPS Cassidy down! But the bullying continues as they stand Cassidy up. Cassidy “kicks” Moxley! Defiant to the end! But Moxley DECKS him again! Moxley paces around more, then stomps Cassidy right on the face! Moxley leads The Death Riders away, and The Conglomeration finally comes out here.

Mark has scissors to cut Cassidy loose, and the fans boo as The Death Riders still retreat. Cassidy tries to stand up, but he has to use ropes to do it. Even so, Cassidy stands on his own two feet. Moxley eggs on the fans while Cassidy puts his sunglasses on. And then hands up, and then into the pockets! Try as they might, The Death Riders could not break the Freshly Squeezed fighting spirit! Will Cassidy finally become AEW World Champion? Or will Moxley find a way to break Cassidy at Full Gear?

My Thoughts:

A great go-home Dynamite here, though it felt like it contracted Go Home Syndrome. A lot of recap and other promos, but good promos all the same. Good follow-up from last week with Hayter and Hart, that will probably really get going after Full Gear. Good promo from Mariah & Mina to hype up their celebration segment for Full Gear, and with Toni Storm’s announcement of her retirement, you can bet Toni is anything but retired! Toni Storm most assuredly will return very soon, maybe even to ruin the celebration and spark another feud. I still want us to get to Mariah VS Mina but maybe Storm moves things back so that Mariah VS Mina happens in 2025.

Good promo from Private Party to also have AJ & Big Justice show up. The promos didn’t really add much to any of the matches, though. I’m very sure AJ does hit the BOOM on QT to win, and then Private Party finds a way to survive the Fatal 4. Great stuff with Perry, Garcia and Menard, that was another very action movie kind of promo, maybe even like that grittier Batman movie. But with Garcia not sinking to the same lows as Perry, that will be why Garcia loses. Honestly, why not just have Perry blatantly get himself disqualified? What great heat for Perry while keeping Garcia strong in not becoming TNT Champion.

Great promos in this MJF story. I appreciate Cole throwing his support behind Roddy was good, as well as Kyle O’Reilly wanting Cole to just leave it at this. MJF of course insults Roddy over his past while also trashing Cole at the same time, but great response from Roddy. Also I’m not a car guy so it took me a little too long to Google out what car MJF was driving. Anyway, given all these promos, I am very confident MJF wins at Full Gear and then Cole still wants after MJF, only for Kyle to have to fight Cole to make him stop. Then we’ll maybe get Cole VS MJF at Worlds End, or even some time in 2025.

Very good stuff with The Hurt Syndicate, even with them getting jumped by Swerve. Poor Cheeseburger, that’s one fan favorite that got fed to Bobby Lashley. But Swerve getting the better of the Hurt Syndicate again and again tonight, all the more reason Lashley wins at Full Gear. Very good promo vignette from White and Hangman to hype up their grudge match, which still feels it could go either way since they’re tied on the year. And Jericho and Ishii had perhaps simultaneously the most clever and most ridiculous contract signing segment ever. And of course Jericho worked out some sort of trap, only for it to go badly for him and his team. But with that, that means Ishii is losing next week, as I figured he would.

Awesome opening match with the 8 Man, and I liked that they had Hobbs do the “fighting through the pain” angle in the match. Also, great bit with Kyle Fletcher sending Davis into harm’s way so that the Callis Family can get the better of Ospreay’s team. I thought the Faces were going to win here, but the math now says Ospreay finds a way to beat Kyle, and maybe Ricochet takes the International Championship from Konosuke Takeshita. The Continental Classic is coming, and they could easily use that round robin to get Konosuke back to a feud with Kazuchika Okada and they battle for the Continental Championship at Worlds End like we should’ve gotten at WrestleDream.

Awesome match from Kris VS Shida, and I appreciate the crisis of confidence for Shida. Kris gets a great win to go into Full Gear, and then Kris and Shida get the better of Mone & Kamille, so all the more reason Mone finds a way to survive. As for Kamille, I feel like she should ditch Mone for being treated like crap by Mone, and maybe we can get a feud of Mone VS Kamille going into 2025. And of course, plenty of promos from Death Riders and “Team AEW” members. Moxley just kinda went on and on about stuff he’s already said in reference to Cassidy, but I did like Claudio going bilingual in talking trash on Darby.

Awesome matches from those stories, of course. Darby really got thrown around but he continues to show that toughness. Claudio getting the win mostly keeps Darby back so that Darby can build towards a world title match at Worlds End. Cassidy VS Yuta was great stuff, too, with great back and forth of Cassidy wanting to end it quick, having to grit it out with Yuta, and then Cassidy still finding a way to end it with a quick pin. And they did a good job muddying the math. Cassidy wins the match, but the Death Riders beat him down, only for Cassidy to literally stand tall at the end of the show. I still don’t see him taking the world title from Moxley, though, with Darby still in the wings, but this could end up Cassidy’s best match yet.

My Score: 8.9/10

What a powerful return for Mina, and while Harley shimmies in frustration, will it be Mina celebrating even more should Mariah May retain her title?

Jack Perry arrives.

The Scapegoat arrives in his black bus, but he also leaves the engine running while he heads inside. What is the twisted TNT Champion planning for tonight?

Daniel Garcia VS Johnny TV w/ MXM Collection!

Speaking of the TNT Championship, it will be Red Death challenging Jack Perry for that gold. But before he becomes the Face of TNT, can he prove to Johnny and the world that he is #TVReady?

The bell rings and Garcia circles with Johnny. They tie up, go around, and Johnny powers Garcia to a corner. The ref counts, Johnny lets off slowly, but then he takes a swing! Garcia dodges, headlocks and grinds Johnny. Johnny powers up and out, then he RUNS Garcia over! The fans are torn but Garcia gets up to shake that off. Garcia and Johnny circle again, tie up, and Garcia headlocks. Johnny powers up and out, but Garcia RAMS Johnny! Johnny rebounds to RUN Garcia over again! Lio Rush speaks.

“I am sick and tired of feeling the way that I’ve been feeling lately. Lost and confused on where I stand with the people that surrounded me. It’s really hard to know exactly who you are when you lose the matches that mean the most. But then I take a deep breath, I look at my watch, and I remember that I’m the Man of the Hour. I came to AEW to collect titles. I’m a 30-year-old piece of gold, and I pray that the people I call friends get on the same page. Because it’s only a matter of time before Lio Rush is rushing to the top.”

Garcia has Perry tied to the hood of the bus!

Garcia shouts at Perry that he was waiting for a reason! Garcia and Menard get in the bus, and they take Perry for a ride! They go through guard rails, up a ramp, and perhaps even into town! Will the Scapegoat end up a bug on a windshield?

Backstage interview with Kris Statlander.

Renee Paquette is with the #BornAgainKristen and says that we’re just one week away from Kris VS Mercedes Mone for the TBS Championship at Full Gear. Things have already gotten out of control, from Mone & Kamille trying to run Kris over with a car, and then Kris tackles them through a wall. Once the bell rings, what can we expect? Kris says, “Anything and everything.” Mone is one of the best, will do anything she can to win, and is most dangerous when she’s cornered, where she is right now. Everything she’s tried hasn’t worked because Kris is still standing. Kris will be the one standing tall as the NEW TBS Champion.

In steps Hikaru Shida with enthusiastic applause. The Shining Samurai tells Kris that she just wants to wish her luck. It’s about time someone beats Mone’s boney ass! And when Kris becomes the new champion, Shida will gladly be her first challenger. Kris says alright, sure. But here’s another idea: Kris is always open for a challenge any time, especially against #HolyShida, the only THREE-TIME AEW Women’s World Champion. So how about this? Wednesday Night Dynamite, Shida VS Kris. Shida’s all for it! They shake hands, but will fighting Shida be a little too much before going to Full Gear? Or will it prove Kris is still The Galaxy’s Greatest?

Backstage interview with The Acclaimed.

Lexy Nair is with Max Caster & Anthony Bowens ahead of their huge Full Gear Tag Team Contenders Series match with La Faccion Ingobernable. But where is Billy Gunn? Caster asks that more importantly, where are their heads going into the match? Because Caster just has to say, as the Best Wrestler Alive, he’s feeling real confident. Bowens says for Lexy’s actual question, Billy will be here. What Caster was trying to say is that The Acclaimed do feel great, because they are one match away from joining that Fatal 4, where they will become TWO-TIME AEW World Tag Team Champions in the Scissor King’s home state of New Jersey!

And when they win, The Acclaimed will celebrate with one big scissoring, because EVERYONE LOVES THE ACCLAIMED! Ain’t that right, Lexy? Oh, wait, MVP steps in, Shelton Benjamin by his side. The Hurt Syndicate just wants to wish The Acclaimed luck. The Syndicate handled their business, so Caster & Bownes should handle theirs. Oh, and Max, use your size and strength. This is a big opportunity, don’t blow it. The Syndicate heads out, but will The Acclaimed win to impress MVP? Or to get back where they belong?

“Powerhouse” Will Hobbs VS Bulk Bronson w/ The Iron Savages!

The return of the Powerhouse is truly big for AEW, but all the Iron Savages are big. And Jacked Jameson wants everyone to hold on. The fat morons and skinny idiots of Albany can shut up. And look, I got a lot to say, and on Wednesday, you’re gonna hear it all, but I just wanna leave you with this: Max, you walk around here thinking you’re smarter than everybody, you’re better than everybody. I don’t think you realize what you’ve gotten yourself into.

“I am the Messiah of the Backbreaker. I am a damn wrestling legend! And when Full Gear ends, you’re gonna realize that I’m better than you, and you know it!” Roddy is ready to throw it all back in MJF’s face, but will the Wolf of Wrestling have a contingency plan?

Platinum Max of course has a diss track. “These dudes gotta be embarrassed. You ’bout to lose bigger than Kamala Harris! LFI in a title match is outta place. It’s like Mexicans being managed by Jake the Snake! I would’ve called the committee, but you’re lucky Albany’s a sanctuary city!” Bowens takes over to say, “ALBANAAAAAY~! The Acclaimed have arrived! The ref is busy with Billy and that lets Rush LASH Caster with the cable! Rush SMACKS Caster off the desk, Caster scrambles into the ring, but Rush anchors his leg. PROGRAMMING NOTE for next week!

With Full Gear being next Saturday, November 23rd, Collision takes a week off! We’ll see everyone back here in two weeks on November 30th!

Backstage interview with Mina Shirakawa.

Lexy is with the Fighting Gravure Idol and congratulates her on her win in her return. Mina says yes, she is so back to have come back here, and she is so excited for Mariah’s match. Lexy says Mina already has multiple championships, is AEW gold on her mind at all? Mina says she’s just excited for Mariah’s match. But that’s not a no… Time to dance! Mina shimmies her way on out, but will she end up wanting something more than just fun with her friend?

Backstage interview with The Conglomeration.

Lexy is now with Mark Briscoe, Rocky Romero & Tomohiro Ishii, and she notes that in a couple weeks, Dynamite: Thanksgiving Eve, it will be Tomohiro Ishii VS Chris Jericho for the ROH World Championship. How is Ishii feeling? The Stone Pitbull is stone-faced, so Mark Briscoe “translates” what #BigTom is exuding with his aura. This is what he’s trying to say: Jericho, your days are numbered! You better shine that title up real nice, sleep with it real close, because soon, it’s getting up outta there! “Learning Tree my ass, you about to learn a lesson about humility! You about to learn a lesson about gettin’ your ass whooped!”

Mark asks if they understand what he’s saying, and Rocky says yeah, he’s picking up what Mark’s putting down. Rocky’s digging the energy, and he feels the intensity. But he has to know one thing: What is the word of the day? That’s a hell of a question, Rocky, because today, it is a menagerie of words! Take a basket, reach in, pull out the word of the day, and well, it’s tenacious! Tenacity! Ferocious! Velocity! Ferocity! He’s tellin’ ya, long story short, that title is coming back to the Conglomeration, courtesy of Tomohiro Ishii! Jericho, you gettin’ your ass whooped, son! RARARARA!

Mark may be fire on the outside, but Ishii is fire on the inside. Will The Learning Tree be burned down either way?

Backstage interview with FTR.

Lexy notes that this past Wednesday, Cash Wheeler & Dax Harwood came up short in their own Full Gear Contenders Series match. Where are their heads out right now? Cash says he wishes he had an answer, because he doesn’t really know. FTR doesn’t know where they go from here. They wish it was just one bad night, but the truth of the matter is, FTR lost those titles a little over a year ago and have had chances to get them back where they just haven’t. Maybe it’s FTR. Maybe their time has passed them. Maybe they need to reevaluate. Dax agrees. But on Dynamite, the better team won on that night.

While FTR could cry about it, or they could rebuild. Therefore, they will rebuild. This may not be FTR’s time, but it is someone’s time. It is The Outrunners’ time! And maybe after Full Gear, we get an FTRunners dream match for those titles. Boys, they’re pulling for you. Speaking of, we’re about to hear from The Outrunners right now!

The Outrunners speak.

Truth Magnum & Turbo Floyd have another retro style video in old standard definition, saying they’ve got the looks and the attitude, so you know they’ve got “the stuff!” It’s a highlight reel of their match with Top Flight, even using retro graphics in the editing. You gotta have the meat! And right now, they’re sizzling! But will Truth & Turbo be prime A1 material at Full Gear? Or will they end up well done?

AEW Women’s World Championship No Disqualifications Match: Mariah May VS Anna Jay!

Mariah accepts that, and BREAKING NEWS from Tony Khan: Now that Mariah has retained her title, she and Mina will have their championship champagne celebration for Full Gear! Will no one ever stop Mariah’s reign of glamour?

Jon Moxley speaks.

The Maniac is with Marina Shafir in the parking lot as he says, “I’ve underestimated Orange Cassidy. I’ve pushed him in the ring before, but this sport’s about so much more than what goes on between the ropes. I thought when I broke Chuck Taylor’s neck, one of two things would happen: Either he would turn into a shaky puddle of tears, and I’d walk right over him; or he’d be backed into a corner and he’s snap back, bringing the animal out of Orange Cassidy. Neither of those two things happened, and now I see it for the first time. I don’t think he even went to the hospital with Chuck Taylor.

“He acts like he’s so sad, and that young Wheeler’s traveled down a path he doesn’t approve of, but he doesn’t care. He’s full of it. Now I see it for the first time. I can’t believe I didn’t see it before. Orange Cassidy is a snake. Cold-blooded, reptilian, unnerved. The test will be this Wednesday, when you face your beloved former student who you claim to care about. Will you strike with venomous intent? Or will you keep it clean? Cold-blooded opponent, that is a different challenge entirely, this is gonna be harder than I thought. But man, I wish I was cold-blooded. But I’m not. No. I feel everything.

“Not just the weight of the AEW World Championship, but I feel the weight of the last five years. I feel the weight of the dreams and aspirations of every single wrestler who walks through these doors. I feel the weight of everybody’s mistakes and broken promises. I feel the weight of every single AEW fan who buys a ticket and pays for parking, and takes off work, and gives us their hard-earned money, and time, and energy, because AEW is something they believe in! What AEW could be! You don’t like the way I do things? November 23rd, you’re gonna have a chance.

“Lop my head off. Let it hit the dirt and roll at your feet. Reach down and pick up that crown, put it on your head. See if you like how it feels. At Full Gear, I smear Orange Cassidy’s blood on our flag, and I plant it in the ground so hard, it will never get moved. You wanna ride with me? You wanna ride in MY AEW? We ride into battle every single day to grab pro-wrestling by the balls, and you better be ready to die on your shield every single day! And if you’re not, get out. Or you will get taken out.” The Maniac has issued his ultimatum, will Freshly Squeezed heed it?

AEW Collision wraps with the November to Remember music video.

Set to November Rain by Guns ‘n’ Roses, we look back even as far as the last time Jon Moxley and Orange Cassidy feuded, which included their battle over the AEW International Championship at Full Gear 2023. There are also highlights to hype up the TNT Championship match of Jack Perry VS Daniel Garcia, and the long-awaited grudge match between Jay White and Hangman Page. Who will truly make this a November to Remember when they stand tall in the November rain?

My Thoughts:

A great Collision, and I forgot that this counts as the go-home Collision with Full Gear next week. The music video recap package to end the show is really well done, and makes a good ending moment, but then it makes other promos a little redundant. Honestly, why not wait to use this as the cold open to Full Gear next Saturday? This would be an awesome PPV opening video. And good closing promo from Moxley, with good spin on Cassidy’s aloof nature. Maybe Cassidy’s cold, or maybe he’s in control of his emotions. I suppose Cassidy VS Yuta on Dynamite will give some of that away.

Great stuff with the TNT Championship story. Garcia VS Johnny was a really good match, even with MXM getting involved. Perry abducting Menard in an attempt to tow him behind the bus was wild, but I like how Garcia turned the tables on Perry. I kinda wish we got a little more of their “joyride” through Albany and New York, but maybe we get more of that on Dynamite. Either way, it feels like Garcia already has the “standing tall” part of the go-home math, meaning he loses at Full Gear. Maybe Perry will cheat his way out of the match so that Garcia can still be strong in defeat.

Really good match from Shelton and Komander but of course Shelton won. Good promo from Hurt Syndicate with The Acclaimed to keep up the recruit tease, and very good match from Acclaimed VS LFI. Good win for The Acclaimed, and you can bet that the Fatal 4 Way will be the straw that breaks the camel’s back. Caster was even distancing himself in his own way here, with not wanting to scissor finger before the match and other little details. Caster can turn on Bowens and join the Hurt Syndicate to start on a singles championship story with them. Lio Rush likely will, too, given his promo.

Very good promo from Conglomeration to hype up Thanksgiving Eve and the ROH World Championship match of Ishii VS Jericho. Still doesn’t feel like Jericho’s losing, though, as he really only just got the title and there’s still this idea of Jericho being responsible for ROH getting a TV deal. Y’know, the same way he’s kayfabe responsible for Collision happening so that he could be on another show separate from… Whoever he was feuding with back then. Very good promo from Roddy to call out MJF, though he literally says he’ll talk more on Dynamite so what was the point of tonight? Just filling time?

Great match for Hobbs to get back on a winning track in singles action, and the “All Star 8 Man” on Wednesday will be great stuff. I feel like Brian Cage or Lance Archer takes the loss in that match, giving momentum to Ricochet and Ospreay going into each of the Full Gear grudge matches. With that, Ricochet maybe pulls off the International Championship win, but Ospreay probably does not win because of Don Callis Family cheating. As for Hobbs himself, The Continental Classic is coming, maybe he gets in on that and really dominates. Hobbs and Okada would be a lot of fun to see, I kinda hope we get that.

Great opener from Mina VS Harley as Harley continues to build her in-ring skill and impress. I like Mina kinda dodging the question about titles here in AEW, because she doesn’t wanna give away that she wants THE AEW Women’s World Championship. Mariah VS Anna was a great main event, they really busted out some good stuff. Mariah using the hair spray was a very clever way to turn things around and help her win. Mariah and Mina having their celebration on Full Gear, I feel like that’s the moment things go sideways in this friendship.

My Score: 8.8/10
