The #HardyParty mixed it up with these “cowboys” during the Dynamite Diamond Ring Battle Royal, and now the Problem Solver rides with the Beaver Boys! Hangman likes to party with Alex Reynolds and John Silver, but can he win with them?

The teams sort out and Hangman starts with Marq Quen. They tie up, Hangman wrenches and wristlocks but Quen spins through and wrenches back to a hammerlock then headlock. Hangman powers out but Quen bumps shoulders. Things speed up, Quen hurdles then jumps over, Hangman kips up but Quen dodges the boot! Hangman avoids the Pele and fans cheer the standoff! The two talk a little trash, but Hardy tags in! Fans are torn on Hardy, but he ties up with Hangman. Hardy powers Hangman to the corner, the ref has to pull him off, and Hardy is upset the Party didn’t go after Hangman! Hangman goes after Hardy with haymakers!

Hangman puts Quen on notice but Hardy kicks low! Tag to Quen, then tag to Kassidy. Private Party double whip Hangman, Hardy kicks low and the Party double back suplex! Hangman lands on his feet. the Beaver Boys reinforce Hangman and they TRIPLE BOOT! Then they all clotheslines #HardyParty out of the ring! Fans fire up and Silver hops on Hangman for a ride. Kassidy returns, Reynolds scoop slams him, and Hangman backpack sentons with Silver! Cover, TWO! Kassidy survives that but Hangman keeps on him. Kassidy throws body shots but Hangman CHOPS him down! Hardy coaches his team on as Kassidy facelocks. Silver fights up but is put in the corner! Hardy tags in, he clotheslines hard then feeds Silver to Kassidy’s knees! Quen tags in, they give Silver the STANDING SHOOTING STAR KNEE SANDWICH! Cover, TWO! Silver survives but Quen rains down right elbows! Hardy wants in, Quen tags him, and Hardy drags Silver up to throw haymakers from all sides! Hardy hammers away on Silver then drags him back up for a whip and sleeper!

Silver flails, reaches, and fans rally with him! Hardy squeezes tight, Silver starts fading! Silver gets a second wind to back suplex Hardy down! Fans fire up as the two slowly stand, and Hardy gets Silver in a clinch. Silver fights out but Hardy throws shots. Hardy whips Silver into the corner, then gets a sleeper for a neckbreaker! But MJF says he’s back-to-back Dynamite Diamond Ring bearer and now the Best Performance of 2020. New York Times forgot one thing: he couldn’t have done it without CJ. And how dare people online say MJF is so much better than Jericho! Jericho is a mentor, the #GOAT, and honestly, a best friend. MJF couldn’t have done it without any of these “sexy hooligans.” Jericho congratulates MJF and MJF thanks him for it. Will they and all the Inner Circle have the best group performance in that titanic twelve man tag match?

AEW sees how the holidays are going at the Nightmare Family home.

Brandi and Cody Rhodes decorate the tree, but then someone rings their doorbell. They go to the door together, and someone has left a little present box for them. Cody picks it up, they sit and open it, and the sender is anonymous. But what was sent was a pair of Gucci baby booties! The Rhodes is expecting a baby in 2021! Cody and Angelico circle, tie up with knuckle locks but Cody shoots in to get an elbow breaker! Cody wrenches, Angelico spins and wrenches and spins Cody to step through and arm-drag back! Angelico lounges and soaks up heat from the fans. Cody keeps cool as Coach Arn says, and Cody stays out of range of those long legs of Angelico. Cody gets around the legs to get the headlock but Angelico reverses. They roll, Angelico waistlocks, but Cody gets up and switches. Angelico gets the ropes, Cody lets off fast, but Angelico pie faces him! Cody pie faces back! Angelico and Cody run the ropes crisscross, Cody drops and hurdles then drops again, to hurdle again, and dropkick! Cover, ONE!

AEW goes picture in picture as Cody keeps on Angelico with a facelock. Angelico powers him to a corner but Cody pulls hair. The ref calls for a break, Angelico lets off but also protests the hair pulling, but Evans swipes at Cody! Angelico then sucker punches Cody down! Angelico KICKS Cody low, then brings him up for more kicks in the corner! Angelico JABS, the ref reprimands, and Cody hobbles to another corner. Angelico runs in corner to corner but Cody elbows him away! Evans gets on the apron but Arn yanks him down! Evans talks trash on Arn but Arn SHOVES him down! But Angelico KICKS Cody!

Angelico stomps Cody at the ropes, brings him up, and puts him in a corner for JABS and KICKS! The ref reprimands and Angelico backs off, only for Cody to CHOP back! Angelico fires off furious fists in return! Angelico DECKS Cody, covers him, TWO! Angelico drags Cody up, snapmares, ghost pins, TWO! Cody has a cover, TWO! Cody slowly gets up, Angelico kicks at him. Angelico toys with Cody with those pie faces, but he runs into a BOOT! Cody hooks Angelico up for a backslide, TWO! Cody ROCKS Angelico with a right, then runs to springboard, but Angelico ducks the Beautiful Disaster and yanks Cody out of the air at the same time! Cody clutches a leg, Angelico hooks him up, NAVARRO DEATH ROLL! Cody is in the Navarro Especial 14, drags his way to ropes, and gets another ropebreak! Angelico lets go of the modified deathlock and grows frustrated. Angelico drags Cody up, whips him but Cody reverses to kick and RHODES UPPERCUT!

Cody gets Angelico in the dragon sleeper but Angelico turns it around! Cody snapmares free and ducks a clothesline to go up, up and SUPER NIGHTMARE CUTTER! Cover, Cody wins!

The American Nightmare, the Prince of Pro-Wrestling, the Ace of AEW, and a big winner here tonight! But Team Taz has to ruin the fun by coming out. “It’s only the right thing to do right now, because congratulations are in order.” On behalf of the rest of the team, Taz congratulates Cody not for the match, but for being a daddy! “Oh~, he’s gonna be a daddy!” Ricky Starks says all this talk about being daddies, where were the congratulations for making Cody and “turtle boy” Darby Allin into Team Taz’s “sons?” Starks didn’t get a congrats, Cage didn’t get a congrats. But that’s just how it happens around here. But in regards to Darby, he will be minced meat at the hands of The Machine!

And Cody, here’s what’s happening now! Team Taz is going to put you on paternity leave! But wait! The crow! The snow! “It’s STIIIIING!” The Icon has his iconic bat, but Powerhouse Hobbs wants right after him! The rest of Team Taz has Hobbs reconsider, and they all retreat to the back. Darby and Sting stare down from all this far away, and then Sting gives a parting wink to Cody. Is Sting being a shadowy guardian angel for the young guns of AEW?

AEW returns with a backstage interview with Miro!

The Best Man made sure Orange Cassidy did not win the Dynamite Diamond Ring, and then he hospitalized three members of the AEW security staff! For that, management is fining him $75,000 total, 25K for each! What does he have to say for himself? What problem does he have with Orange Cassidy? “Well, he simply doesn’t care.” It’s all about numbers, likes, subscriptions, and yet Cassidy doesn’t care about them! Now Miro gets fined? Miro feels Cassidy owes him that money. But next week is the holidays! There will be a huge announcement then, but Miro promises to break the internet again as he returns to AEW Dark to take on Sonny Kiss. And then for Dynamite, it will be the WEDDING DATE ANNOUNCEMENT for Kip Sabian and Penelope Ford!

But what about the people he put in the hospital?! It’s almost Christmas! “BAH HUMBUG!” It’s Miro’s birthday. Will Miro be made to feel remorse for what he’s done?

Eddie Kingston goes to the ring!

And the Mad King already has a mic to say, “Alright, boo, cheer my name, do whatever you want to do. Because at the end of the day, I don’t care about any of you!” That includes the wrestlers at ringside, the people at home, and the cameraman. Third, that “big goofy bastard,” Lance Archer! But speaking of, here he comes! And the Murderhawk Monster is right on Kingston with furious fists! The Butcher and the Blade hurry out to go after him but he holds them off. Archer runs, Kingston clamps on, and then Blade dodges for Butcher to throw hands! Blade comes back, he and Butcher stomp away, and then Kingston adds on! But here comes the LUCHA BROTHERS! Kingston dares them to do something, but they’re not alone! PAC IS BACK! That neck isn’t keeping him out after all! And then Archer gets up and it’s a 4v3 beating! Bunny Allie can only watch as Kingston is thrown out and then thrown into barriers!

Archer AND Pac mug Kingston against railing, while Fenix and Pentagon “Uno! Dos! Tres!” DOUBLE SUPERKICK Butcher and the Blade! Then Pentagon goes to the apron to SUPERKICK Blade, and Fenix runs to FLY and TORNILLO them both down! Kingston ends up back in the ring but Archer choke grips! Pac BOOTS Kingston down and stomps away! But Archer says Kingston is HIS prey. Pac doesn’t care and he glares at Kingston. The Fam regroups and retreats while Pac and Archer argue this out. But enemies of one’s enemies are your friends, so will Archer and Pac have a loose alliance for the sake of crushing Kingston?

Dasha Fuentes interviews Dustin Rhodes.

Has he thought at all about the offer issued by The Dark Order? He has. “Seven was a bad idea years ago, and Seven was a bad idea last week.” Dustin makes it clear to Evil Uno that Uno said Dustin is the “third least important person in the Rhodes family,” but that is WRONG! Dustin told Uno like he told Number 10, the Dark Order will all fall, one by one by one! Next week, Uno is next! Holiday Bash, Dustin fixes to kick some ass!

Wardlow could not make the trip but this is still a massive 6v6 match! Orange Cassidy watches on commentary now as his Best Friends and his good friends all battle Chris Jericho, MJF and their friends! Which faction of friends wins this massive match before the holidays?

AEW returns as Team Best Friends has gathered, and as the Inner Circle makes their entrance. Jericho enjoys fans singing Judas for him, and then the teams sort out. Fans cheer as Le Champion starts against #JustTrent, the de facto captains. But Bulletproof Brian Pillman Jr. wants in, so Trent obliges! BPJ and Jericho circle, tie up, and BPJ arm-drags fast! Jericho gets up and fans cheer, but Jericho SLAPS BPJ! Jericho kicks and forearms and CHOPS BPJ to a corner, then CHOPS him again, and again! Jericho stomps away, stands on BPJ but lets off as the ref counts 4. Jericho whips BPJ but BPJ reverses. BPJ runs in, Jericho dodges but BPJ SLAPS him back! And CHOPS back, too!

BPJ CHOPS and CHOPS and CHOPS, then wrenches and whips corner to corner. Jericho reverses, BPJ goes up and LEAPS to crossbody! And dropkick! Jericho gets to the apron, BPJ triangle dropkicks! That’s Jericho’s move! BPJ fires up while the Inner Circle checks on Jericho. Jericho gets up but BPJ slingshots and sentons more than he does plancha! The Inner Circle backs Jericho up but BPJ puts Jericho in the ring. Jericho kicks low, throws forearms, then whips BPJ corner to corner. BPJ boots back, then wrenches to tag in Griff Garrison. The Varsity Blondes coordinate, scoop slam and slingshot leg drop! Cover, TWO!

The Inner Circle talks trash but Top Flight gives it back. Griff throws forearms on Jericho, whips, but Jericho kicks him back! And CHOPS! Tag to Sammy Guevara and they mug the Ivy League MVP! Sammy CHOPS Griff, gloats and insults Best Friends, then he CHOPS Griff again! Sammy whips, Griff reverses and then hip tosses Sammy! Tag to Dante Martin and he stares down with Sammy. Fans rally up and Sammy flips Dante off! So Dante kicks the hand! Dante speeds up, Sammy hurdles and flips over to dropkick Dante down! Sammy soaks up the heat and takes a bow, then he drags Dante up in a corner.

Sammy puts Dante on ropes to CHOP! Sammy whips, Dante reverses but Sammy yanks him down to stomp him down! Sammy talks trash as he whips Dante again, but Dante reverses and LEG LARIATS! Cover, TWO! Dante whips Sammy to a corner, runs in to corner forearm, then he whips Sammy the other way only for Sammy to reverse. Dante goes up and over and tags in Darrius, rolls off Sammy’s back and catches Sammy to trip for Darrius’ ghost pin! ONE, and Darrius BUZZSAWS! Cover, and Ortiz breaks it! Both teams shout at each other for breaking rules, but Darrius ROCKS Sammy with a European Uppercut!

Darrius ROCKS Sammy, tags Dante in and they hand-off the wristlock. Sammy wrenches back but Dante rolls and handsprings to break free, but Sammy DECKS him! Sammy drags Dante over, tags in Santana, but Dante tags in Trent! Santana is finally back from that brutal backlot brawl and he stares Trent down! Ortiz and Chuck Taylor get in to back up their guys, and they start shoving, then brawling! The rest of the teams brawl, too!! The ref is lost in the chaos so she just lets it all spill out! Trent, Chuck and their friends stand tall, for a SEXTUPLE HUG!! Fans cheer this incredible level of friendship!

Trent dares Santana to get back in, but Ortiz barks at him first. Trent DECKS Ortiz but Santana creeps up onto the apron. Ortiz comes back to anchor Trent’s legs and Santana fires off! Fans boo, Santana drags Trent up and snap suplexes! Uno amigo! Another, dos amigos! Ortiz tags in, and together, Proud ‘n’ Powerful hit the third amigo! Ortiz drags Trent up, wrenches him and tags in MJF. MJF climbs up to DUMDUM STOMP the arm! Trent hurries out but Jericho is there to BOOT him down! Jake Hager and Santana stomp while Trent’s team protests! Santana whips Trent into the railing while MJF antagonizes Chuck!

Sammy tags Jericho, Jericho stays between Trent and his team to then stomp on the hands! Jericho drags Trent up and bumps him off buckles. Jericho throws jabs, whips Trent corner to corner hard, and Trent tumbles up to tumble back, into a forearm! Jericho paces before he drags Trent back up and back suplexes him down! Trent tags in, then he tags Chuck. Best Friends bring Ortiz around for the SEXY CHUCKIE KNEE, to the SOLE FOOD HALF ‘N’ HALF! BPJ tags in for a springboard FLYING TACKLE! Tag to Griff, BPJ dodges Hager, misses MJF, but Griff dodges Hager to BOOT MJF! BPJ hits PNP, Griff dumps Hager out! Griff LEAPING SPLASHES Ortiz, then ROLLING ELBOWS! Griff runs but Jericho uses FLOYD THE BASEBALL BAT on Griff’s back!! Chuck goes after Jericho but the damage is done! Hager tags in and he CLOBBERS Griff! Then the fireman’s carry, for an F10!! And they add insult to injury on Best Friends and friends! Top Flight save Griff from stomps and double whip Jericho and MJF, to double dropkick them down! Top Flight holds the ring for Cassidy’s crew, and the Inner Circle regroups at the ramp! The Inner Circle only cares that they won, but have they been put on notice by the young and hungry?

Alex Marvez interviews Thunder Rosa backstage.

We’ve all seen her attack Britt Baker, but Rosa wants to address “The Face of the AEW Women’s Division” herself. “The Role Model, the Dentist,” Britt tells Rosa doesn’t belong in AEW. But Rosa has been wrestling all over the world while Britt stuck her big nose in that NWA Women’s World Championship match! It is Britt’s fault Rosa lost! So they want to ask Rosa why now she is beating Britt’s ass? Maybe because Rosa does belong! For Britt to have the BALLS to say otherwise, Rosa laughs!

Rebel storms over and says one, that is a horrible laugh (Rebel would know) and two, don’t ever talk like that about The Dentist! Rosa will say whatever she wants. But then Britt CLOBBERS Rosa from behind! “Oh, I thought my ‘big nose’ smelled an unwanted guest!” Britt says Rosa is not welcome here! And she puts Rosa in the Rings of Saturn! Rebel pours water on Rosa’s face so they can smear her face paint! Britt pushes Rosa down and asks if the camera still works. Maybe Rosa’s ugly face broke it! Britt wants to prove she’s the Baddest Bitch in AEW, but she may have just pissed off the baddest bitch in NWA! When will these two finally collide 1v1 in the ring?

Max Caster and Anthony Bowens have been blazing up the AEW Tag Division ranks, but they still need to prove they’re better than one of the most experienced teams in wrestling today! What Platinum level diss rap will Caster have when AEW returns from break?

AEW returns and Bowens has the 5 Tool Player Boombox from Dark so Caster can feel the beat! “Yo, yo yo! We about to beat S C U! Leave ’em looking like a victim on S V U! Yo, Chris Daniels, nothing but a doormat. Call him CD, you’re an outdated format! Yo, what up, Kazarian? How’s your back doin’? You been doin’ all the carryin’! Nice hair, but my hair’s cooler. I heard you got hair plugs! Well do ya?!” The Young Bucks are ringside, and they are not feeling it. Wait, Kazarian gets the mic? He isn’t as confident in his battle rap abilities, but even he can do better! UH OH!

“Yo! I hope you dudes wrestle better than you rap. Because what I heard and they heard sounded like CRAP! You got your fake gold chains and you’re out here dissin’? Are you The Acclaimed or are you Man on a Mission? You tryin’ to drop rhymes, trying to make hits, but just like the year 2020, that whole thing was the shits!” Bowens tries to keep Caster calm but Kaz isn’t done! “Listen, green boys, I’m a give you a pass. Because Kaz ‘n’ CD about to beat your dumb ass!” The teams sort out and though Caster’s fired up, Bowens starts with the Heavy Metal Rebel.

Bowens swings on Kaz, Kaz ducks and then hip tosses Bowens down! Fans are fired up for “S C U!” as Kaz arm-drags Bowens around, then hits a headlock takeover. Bowens keeps his shoulders up, gets to his feet, and powers out, but Kaz runs Bowens over hard! Kaz runs, Bowens stays down and jumps up but into Kaz’s arms, for a SNAP NORTHERN LIGHTS! Bridging cover, TWO! Kaz CHOPS Bowens to the corner, tags Daniels in, and the Addiction wrench, KICK, CLOBBER and STOMP Bowens down! Cover, TWO! Daniels drags Bowens up to throw hands, then reel him in. Caster distracts and Bowens back drops free!

Bowens tags Caster, Caster hurries and rams Daniels into a corner. Caster throws hands but Daniels hits back! They brawl back and forth, faster and faster, but Caster knees low. Caster whips corner to corner, runs in but Daniels boots him! Daniels goes up, leaps and missile dropkicks! Daniels brings Caster up to feed him to Kaz’s boots! Daniels snapmares Caster, tags Kaz and Daniels slingshot elbow drops! Kaz slingshot leg drops! Cover, TWO! Kaz drags Caster up but Caster knees low! Tag to Bowens but Bowens runs into another arm-drag! Kaz wrenches and CHOPS Bowens to a corner! Kaz whips Bowens corner to corner, but Bowens puts Kaz on the apron!

Caster rushes Kaz but Kaz DECKS him! Bowens whips Kaz into the post! Kaz tumbles down, Caster stomps away! Caster clubs Kaz, Bowens joins in, but the ref reprimands! AEW goes picture in picture as Bowens puts Kaz in the ring.

Bowens bumps Kaz off buckles, then talks trash as he CHOPS and CHOPS! Kaz ROCKS Bowens with hands but Bowens hits back! Bowens puts Kaz in the Acclaimed corner and tags in Caster. They stomp Kaz, Caster throws hands and elbows, then turns Kaz for a neckbreaker! Cover, ONE! Caster clamps onto Kaz’s arm but Kaz throws hands. Caster stomps Kaz down, tags Bowens in, and the Acclaimed hand-off the wrench over and over to then kick the arm! The Acclaimed double wrench and double snapmare to double KICK Kaz down! Cover, TWO! Bowens grows annoyed and he cravats Kaz to crank on the neck.

Kaz endures as Bowens grinds him down. Kaz fights up, throws body shots but Bowens throws him by his hair! Cover, TWO! Bowens keeps on Kaz with a chinlock and grinds him back down. Kaz fights up again, throws body shots, but Bowens knees low! Tag to Caster, the Acclaimed double whip and Caster runs in but Kaz elbows him away! Kaz BOOTS Bowens, dodges Caster and then dumps Bowens out! Kaz shoulders into Caster to then slingshot DDT! Fans fire up as Kaz crawls, but Caster tags Bowens first! Bowens drags Kaz away, Kaz boots him away! Tag to Daniels! Daniels shoulders into Bowens, slingshots and rallies with clotheslines!

Caster comes in but Daniels back drops him! Daniels fires off JABS on Bowens, then whips but Bowens reverses, only for Daniels to STO Caster! Bowens waistlocks, Daniels switches and BLUE THUNDER BOMBS! Cover, TWO!! Bowens survives but Daniels keeps his focus. Fans rally for “S C U!” as Daniels reels Bowens in. Bowens fights out of Angel’s Wings but not the URENAGE! Daniels goes to a corner but Caster CLUBS him first! Kaz runs in to clothesline Caster and himself out! Bowens CHOPS Daniels, hoists him up top and then ROCKS him with a right! Bowens climbs, fans rally, and Daniels fights back!

Daniels shoves Bowens down but Caster anchors a foot! Kaz YANKS Caster down, Daniels LEAPS for the crossbody Cover, TWO!! Caster whips Kaz into railing! That distracts Daniels and Bowens CLOBBERS him from behind! Bowens brings Daniels around, torture racks but Daniels slips out! O’Conner roll, TWO, into the BOOMBOX!! Bowens brings Daniels in, FIVE TOOL BELLY2BELLY! Cover, The Acclaimed win!!

SCU may have given back the rap as good as they got, but this was definitely an upset! Caster and Bowens are #5 in the rankings, and they spot the champs! Caster gets a mic back to throw shade on the Bucks! “Yo! The Bucks lookin’ mad stifled. The Acclaimed, yeah we want the tag titles! I’m a say this and I’ll put it on a Bible, you act like girls who are on their cycle! Ladies and gentlemen, Young Bucks. I’m kissing on your titles, making you feel like cucks! Yo, I think that you should duck. Shootin’ on you losers, I don’t give a WHOA~!” Can’t go there.

But Bowens tells AEW that the Acclaimed has arrived! And Bucks, if you’ve got the balls, next week for the Holiday Bash, they’ll put the tag titles on the line! “And that’s a mic drop!” The Bucks look ready to have that match if just to shut The Acclaimed up! But will the Bucks still have the gold come Christmas?

Why did Darrius and Dante specifically save Griff from Jericho and MJF at the end of their 12 man tag match? They want us to focus on the two names just mentioned. Jericho, first ballot hall of famer. MJF, AEW’s hottest, youngest star. Er, well, that was until AEW signed Top Flight. True. Top Flight knows all about those two whereas Jericho and MJF didn’t know much about them. But now they do! In fact, maybe Top Flight hit them so hard they’ve already forgotten. This is Darius and Dante, the coldest tag team in the game! And to make sure they never forget, Top Flight challenges Jericho and MJF to a 2v2 tag match for Dynamite! Accept, “or run away like two little bitches.” Which will it be?

Big Swole & Serena Deeb VS Ivelisse & Diamante!

When Brandi Rhodes was in trouble, Big Swole and the NWA Women’s World Champion came to help. When Red Velvet was in trouble, they did the same. However, La Sicaria and the Cuban Diamond decided to get after them at that same moment! Now Swole and Serena face the AEW Women’s Tag Cup winners 2v2, will Brandi and Velvet be avenged?

The teams sort out and Deeb starts with Ivelisse. They circle, tie up, and go around. Ivelisse throws Deeb down but Deeb gets up fast. They circle and tie up again, and Deeb puts Ivelisse in an open corner. The ref backs Deeb off but Ivelisse sucker punches! Ivelisse whips but Deeb ducks and dodges to LEAPING LARIAT! Deeb bumps Ivelisse off buckles, tags in Swole, and Swole brings Ivelisse around for a big uppercut, only for Ivelisse to spin through it. Tag to Diamante, Diamante and Swole tie up and Diamante gets around to club Swole. Swole blocks a kick, spins Diamante and hits a backbreaker!

Swole headlocks, Diamante powers out and but Swole comes back to get around and shove Diamante. Swole back drops Diamante hard, then hurries to keep her from Ivelisse. Diamante hits back and throws Swole down by her hair! Dismante DECKS Deeb then goes after Swole. The ref is busy with Deeb, Swole gets put in the ropes and Ivelisse hits a hotshot to Diamante’s GERMAN SUPLEX! Cover, ONE!? Diamante drags Swole up, clubs her then tags Ivelisse in. They mug Swole while AEW goes picture in picture, and then hit a double suplex! Cover, TWO!

Ivelisse clubs Swole, drags her around into a chinlock and wraps on tight. Swole endures as fans rally up, and Swole fights up to fight out! Ivelisse CLUBS Swole, facelocks again, and hits a TWISTING DDT! Cover, TWO! Swole survives and Ivelisse is frustrated, but she drags Swole up to bump her off buckles. Ivelisse CHOPS Swole, tags Diamante and Diamante CHOPS Swole, too! Diamante fires off haymakers and stomps, then digs her boot in! The ref reprimands but Diamante drags Swole up with a cravat to snapmare and KICK! Cover, TWO! Diamante keeps Swole from Deeb with a headlock but Swole throws body shots. Diamante CLUBS Swole down then rains down fists as AEW goes to break!

AEW returns and Deeb is in! She rallies on the tag cup winners as she scoop slams Ivelisse then CLOBBERS Diamante! Deeb drop toeholds Ivelisse and gets the legs for a deathlock! Diamante runs in but Deep kicks her, to suplex Diamante while hitting the SNAP LOCK on Ivelisse! Fans fire up as Deeb has Diamante and throws uppercuts! Deeb whips, Diamante kicks but gets caught to a DRAGON SCREW! Ivelisse kicks Deeb and whips her, but Deeb slips out and Ivelisse only gets buckles! Deeb catches Ivelisse in the ropes with the facelock, and then hotshot neckbreakers!

Fans fire up more as Deeb fireman’s carries Ivelisse, for a GUT BUSTER! Deeb steps through to a FIGURE FOUR! Ivelisse endures and rolls to ropes, tag to Diamante! Diamante stomps Deeb down then throws haymakers! Ivelisse comes back, she and Diamante double KNEE Deeb, then lift her for a double SLAM! Cover, TWO!! Deeb survives and shocks Diamante! Fans rally as Deeb rises, but Diamanate drags her up, only for Deeb to hit a SWINGING NECKBREAKER! Hot tag to Swole! Swole gets in and fires off forearms and CHOPS on Diamante! Swole spins, ducks under Diamante’s clothesline, and ripcords for DIRTY- NO! Diamante ducks, and Ivelisse grabs hair!

Swole DECKS Ivelisse, runs at Diamante but into a cravat and KNEE! Diamante tries Sliced Bread but Swole denies that with a shove, and a HEADBUTT! Swole reels Diamante in, underhooks, and TIGER DRIVERS! To the CLEARWATER CLOVERLEAF! Deeb intercepts Ivelisse with a GUILLOTINE! Diamante taps, Swole and Deeb win!

The World Tag Cup winners can’t believe they lost to two singles wrestlers! But the Vicious Vixens rush out!? Nyla Rose CLOBBERS Deeb, and Ivelisse goes after Swole! Vickie Guerrero even gets some stomps in! This is 4v2 but here comes RED VELVET with a chair! She SMACKS Nyla, then chases off Ivelisse and Diamante! Have the Vicious Vixens only stirred up Velvet’s vicious side?

“Santana and Ortiz. Fellas, this will never be over between us.” But right now, there are more important things to attend to. Miro sabotaged Cassidy’s match! You ruined Cassidy’s life! But Miro is going to use the Holiday Bash to announce Kip’s and Penelope’s wedding date? Well the Best Friends are so excited, because they’ll be at the Holiday Bash! They’re festive as hell! Trent and Chuck can’t wait. Will Miro regret publicly announcing the coming public announcement?

AEW has big matches for the Holiday Bash!

Not only will there be the AEW World Tag Team Championship match, Young Bucks VS The Acclaimed, and the grudge match of Top Flight VS Jericho & MJF, but there will be a Six Man Tag! Jurassic Express will be in full as they take on The Dark Order’s Alan Angels, Preston Vance and even Colt Cabana! Will Jungle Boy, Marko Stunt and Luchasaurus keep on track towards their own tag title opportunity?

Plus, Hikaru Shida will be back in action, will she finally get to face her fears in the form of Abadon? And as Dustin Rhodes put forward, he is facing Evil Uno to check him off the list! Then, after the shocking return and the chaotic encounter, The Bastard, PAC, is back in action against The Butcher! Will Pac make sure Eddie Kingston understands what’s coming for The Fam?

Because why are they highlighting a sideshow attraction when you have the “heart and soul” of the division right here?! Dax Harwood says he understands how television time ain’t cheap. But if FTR, the greatest tag team of a generation, the first-ever GRAND SLAM Tag Team Champions, Pro-Wrestling Illustrated’s NUMBER ONE team of 2020, is being pushed to the side for a fake-ass Tarzan and a grown-man in a dinosaur costume, that doesn’t sit right! This is how they feed their families! If you threaten that in any way, they will eliminate that threat! Jurassic Express, you are in the crosshairs of FTR! #FearTheRevelation!!

No Holds Barred: Kenny Omega w/ Don Callis VS Joey Janela w/ Sonny Kiss!

There is a lot of history to this match right here! First off, the Unsanctioned Match the Best Bout Machine and the Bad Boy had on AEW Dark! Second, Janela not being able to participate in the AEW World Title Eliminator Tournament! But now, The Cleaner must face Janela again in a No Disqualifications, ANYTHING GOES main event! Will Janela make up for both losses and missed opportunities?

AEW returns and we see the entrance of “The man who has held the AEW World title for 14 days. He is the only AEW wrestler to pin Jon Moxley. He helped draw AEW’s largest television rating of the year on last week’s Dynamite. He appeared on last week’s episode of Impact Wrestling, which by no coincidence, increased their audience by 33%. He is so talented, that he appeared last Saturday night in two countries, on two major shows which were available to watch all around the world, including but not limited to NOOORTH CAROLINA~! He is the All Elite Wrestling Woooooorld Champion… KENNY, OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMEEEEEEEEGAAAAA!”

There are more Sweepettes! Omega makes his entrance, with Don Callis not far behind, and then pyro! But then Janela throws a trash can at Kenny’s head! Janela SMACKS Omega with the can and Callis says commentary is laughing but they’re up to the task of calling an Omega match so he’s taking over! The bell rings, Janela throws Omega out then builds speed, to DIVE! Direct hit and Omega hits railing! Schiavone tells Callis to kiss his ass about taking his headset. Janela brings out chairs! He sets one up, whips Omega into more railing, and then sets up more chairs. Fans fire up with Janela as he goes over, but Omega KOTARO KRUSHERS Janela onto one of the chairs!

Omega gets back in the ring and wants to hear the Terminator drums! Fans boo but some do clap along. Omega runs and wrecks Janela with a dropkick! Callis uses his mic to just call commentary on his own now, of course hyping up Omega. Janela sits in the other chair, Omega runs and FLIES! Direct hit through the chair! Callis says no one does it like Omega! Omega brings out cookie trays, drags Janela up but Janela flounders down. Omega has the cookie sheet and he SMACKS Janela! Callis also mocks JR’s “BAH GAWD!” as he calls Omega hitting “this disgusting hardcore wrestler” Janela again!

Omega tells Kiss he’ll get some, too, if he doesn’t back off! Omega takes a spare mic and gives his own play by play! “I’ll show you just how easy this is!” Janela isn’t feeling so good, is he? Get up! And listen tot his audio. SMACK with the sheet! How did that feel for Omega? “IT FELT GREAT!” Omega puts a trash can on top of a post, and tells the ref to hold the mic. Omega goes up, gets his can, and then FULL METAL MOONSAULTS onto Janela! Cover, TWO!! Janela survives and Omega is furious! “Get up, Joey! Get up! By your little piggy tails!” Omega CHOPS Janela right back down!

Omega isn’t done and he point blank KNEES Janela down again. “What’s the matter, huh!?” Omega SMACKS Janela with the sheet again! And then he brings the crushed can and he puts it on Janela’s back. Omega goes to the apron and springboard DOUBLE STOMPS the can into Janela’s back! Omega drags Janela up as Callis says it’s time to hit the pay window. Electric Chair, fold, but Janela POISON-RANAS! Fans fire up for Janela as Omega and Callis are finally speechless! Kiss hurries to get something for Janela! It’s a TABLE! Anything goes, after all! Kiss sets the table up for Janela and Janela finds some other things from under the ring.

Janela drags Omega up to punch away at the ramp! He punches Omega onto the table, then climbs up the corner! Janela FLYING LEG DROPS Omega through the table!! Fans lose their minds as Janela drags Omega from the wreckage! Janela puts Omega in, climbs back up and MOONSAULTS but flops! Omega fires himself up to V-TRIGGER Janela! Then he runs to V-TRIGGER again! Janela is stiff as a board but Omega Electric Chair lifts him, for ONE WINGED ANGEL!! Cover, Omega wins!

Winner: Kenny Omega, by pinfall

No respect, no mercy, and no title opportunities for Janela! Omega holds his title up high and Callis says “All the haters that we had to listen to since that godforsaken tournament have been silenced! No more unanswered questions for the world champion!” But then Pac and the Lucha Brothers walk out on stage! “Oi, oi, Kenny! Me and you, Kenny, we have some unfinished business. But you see, I’m not here tonight to be selfish. Oh, no.” Death Triangle is here to address injustice. Look here at Rey Fenix. Think back to October. Fenix was also in that contender’s tournament, but he never lost. So please explain how exactly Omega is the rightful champion?

Callis asks “Pock” if he suddenly got some executive promotion while he and Omega were making history? If not, here’s a little lesson in the business. “Wrestlers don’t tell the world champion what to do!” Well Don, that’s where you’re wrong. They talked with Tony Khan, and the match has already been made! Whether Omega likes it or not, he will defend his title against Fenix! Omega is furious at the “nobody” making matches for his title! But another eliminator tournament “what if” will finally be answered! Will Omega still be champion for the holidays?

My Thoughts:

A very good episode to set up the holiday hat trick AEW is about to pull off. Between tonight and Being The Elite, Hangman and Dark Order interacting is a lot of fun, but I am surprised they didn’t win. #HardyParty definitely has their own story developing now that Matt is inexplicably turning Heel, not really sure what that is about. Dustin has a pretty good promo to send a message to Evil Uno, and that match should be good. Cody had a really good match with Angelico but of course Cody wins. And of course Team Taz shows up to cut a promo on Cody and Darby, and of course Sting shows up to counter them. Still thinking we get a Six Man of Cody, Darby & Sting VS Hobbs, Starks and Cage at some point.

Wardlow could not make it for “family matters,” hopefully that isn’t too serious but well wishes just in case. Even so, the resulting 12 man rather than 14 man was still a great match, and perhaps flowed just a bit better since it was three different tag teams on the Face side, with no odd man out in Brandon Cutler. Cassidy being on commentary not saying anything was a great touch, too. Of course the Inner Circle wins, but I like that Top Flight is stepping up to face MJF and Jericho. There could easily be a moment of dissention from MJF because of his ever growing ego, but I don’t think anything happens to turn things around from the “ultimatum” and the group’s decision to stay together.

I’m torn on how The Acclaimed VS SCU went down. Kaz giving back his own rap, burying Caster’s gimmick, was not how I would’ve liked that to go down. But I suppose The Acclaimed winning, with some cheap tactics at that, makes up for the rap battle “loss.” Caster calling out Bucks with a diss rap also worked out, and getting a tag title match already is pretty big. Obviously Bucks win but The Acclaimed being able to say they had a shot is what’s important. FTR had a great promo calling out Jurassic Express after the highlight reel, and I have a feeling they’re going to get involved in that Six Man Tag Jurassic Express has with The Dark Order to then set up their own match.

Rosa, Britt and Rebel had a good segment, that grudge match has to happen for one of the New Year’s Smash nights. Swole & Deeb VS Ivelisse & Diamante was a good match, and I’m surprised the Faces won in this situation given Ivelisse & Diamante are the tag cup winners. But I suppose it was just so Vicious Vixens could attack. I feel like Vickie is going to recruit Ivelisse & Diamante, and then Jade Cargill returns and we get that 8 Woman Tag where Brandi also returns. Shida being on Dark and then coming back next week, they’re taking a nice slow burn towards her next title match. It’s obviously going to be Abadon, and I bet it happens for one of the New Year’s Smash nights.

Omega VS Janela in the No Holds Barred was a great main event, though maybe with some points off for Callis droning on to put Omega over and then Omega getting in on the “commentary” himself. But that was still a good table spot from Janela. Omega of course wins, and I actually like that they’re continuing this idea of Omega facing the opponents he was meant to in the tournament. Omega VS Fenix is going to be great, as will be the continued feud of Pac, Archer and Eddie Kingston’s Fam. That was also a great segment, Pac VS Butcher will be fun, but I’m not sure the endgame if Archer and Pac are both here and going after Kingston.
