Pure Rules Match: Josh Woods w/ The Varsity Athletes VS Eli Isom!

The Technical Beast has been building an undefeated streak under Pure Rules! Will Woods have the goods to challenge Shibata? Or will he not be able to bring down #InfiniteEli?

The Code of Honor is upheld and the bell rings. We’re on the clock and the two circle. They feel things out, tie up, end up on ropes, but the ref calls it a neutral break. The two reset, feel things out, and tie up again. Woods puts Eli on the ropes, the ref calls that Eli’s first ropebreak as he did grab the ropes this time. Sterling makes sure everyone knows it counts, and the two reset again. Woods and Eli tie up, Eli shoots in and waistlocks but Woods rolls free. Woods trips Eli, has both legs then steps over to a headlock. Fans rally up, Eli rolls but Woods powers out. Eli kicks Woods away, headlocks, but Woods spins Eli.

Eli slips through to waistlock, but Woods switches. Eli pries free, shoots around again to another waistlock, but Woods uses his legs to pry free. Woods whips Eli to a corner, Eli goes up and over and he arm-drags Woods! Woods arm-drags back, but Eli drags Woods back down! Eli keeps on the arm with a cording hold, but Woods fights up. Woods pulls hair, the ref reprimands, but Woods whips Eli away. Eli goes up but Woods BOOTS him outta the air! Fans fire up and Woods drags Eli to stomp the arm! Fans boo and Eli gets away, but Woods throws hands on him! Woods wraps an arm around ropes and he pulls!

The ref counts, Woods lets off, that is a neutral break. Woods hammerlocks Eli’s arm, to RAM it into buckles! Fans rally but Woods wraps the arm around ropes again. But Eli throws a forearm! Woods cranks the arm, Eli forearms! Woods runs side to side to KNEE Eli in the arm! Woods stalks Eli, drags him up by his hair, and hammerlocks to RAM that arm into buckles again! Eli slumps down, but Woods drags him up. Woods whips but Eli blocks by holding ropes! This is Eli’s second, and we’re only four minutes into this. Woods whips again and YANKS the arm! Eli writhes on the mat, Woods pushes to a cover, TWO!

Woods keeps on Eli and drags him up. Fans chant “STERLING SUCKS!” while Woods RAMS shoulders with Eli. And again! Woods drags Eli up and Eli ROCKS Woods! And ROCKS him again! But Woods ROCKS Eli back! They go forearm for forearm and fans fire up for the brawl! Eli gets the edge and he ROCKS Woods! But Woods fires forearms all back, into Eli’s arm! Eli breaks free to ROCK, UPPERCUT, ELBOW and ENZIGURI! Fans fire up as Woods goes to a corner! Eli clutches the bad arm, fans rally up, and Eli runs corner to corner, FLYING FOREARM! And then a SOBAT, KNEE SMASH, and suplex!

But the arm give sup! Woods fireman’s carries Eli, but Eli slips free to waistlock! Woods bucks the O’Conner, but runs into a SPIN OUT BACK SUPLEX! Cover, ONE!! Eli is hurting too much to be upset, but fans rally behind him. Eli aims as Woods rises, and Eli roars as he brings Woods in! But Woods wrenches to reel Eli in! O’Conner Roll, and a SLAM into the ARMBAR!! Eli flails and reaches out, ROPEBREAK! That’s Eli’s last one and now Woods has him where he wants him! We hit seven minutes, and Woods drags Eli up to fisherman. But Eli slips out and DROPKICKS! Woods staggers to a corner!

Eli runs in but Woods puts him on the apron! Eli swings, but Woods catches him to a SLEEPER!! With no ropebreaks, Eli is in danger! This is just what Shibata did to Daniel Garcia! Eli fights, but Woods drags him back in so he can stare Shibata down! Eli is fading, then Woods lets him go, to run and PENALTY KICK!! And then, GORILLA LOCK!!! Eli taps, Woods wins!

Just short of eight minutes, and the Technical Beast wins! But Sterling insists on talking… “Folks, you are looking at what should be the Face of the ROH Pure Division! And I’ll tell you why! 108 collegiate wins! FOUR-TIME All American! National Champion! Who else is a National Champion, huh!?” Sterling notes that they call Shibata “The Wrestler.” But Josh Woods IS the wrestler, the fighter, and the man who could take your head off whenever he wants! So here’s the challenge! Next week, for the ROH Pure Championship, Woods VS Shibata! What does Shibata say? Shibata steps from the judge’s desk and into the ring.

Fans fire up for Shibata as he steps right up to Woods, and holds up the belt! Consider that a yes! Sterling wants everything to wait, they don’t do anything without a contract. Will Sterling’s stable finally bring home some gold? Or will Shibata shut Sterling up when he shuts Woods down?

Backstage interview with Trish Adora.

Lexi Nair is with the AfroPunk and says at Death Before Dishonor in the Zero Hour, there was a great match between Adora and Leyla Hirsch, that unfortunately for Adora, she lost. What is next for Adora now? Adora says yes, she did lose. But a few months ago, a year ago, she would’ve let it destroy her and define her. But now she doesn’t roll along, she has her brothers in arms watching her six. So now, she focuses on redemption. Adora says for The Infantry and for ROH, she’s always down to shake hands. Will she get back on track with her match up next?

Trish Adora VS Vita Vonstarr!

The Code of Honor is not upheld as Vita pie faces Adora! The bell rings and Vita smirks as she and Adora circle. Fans boo Vita but she and Adora tie up. Adora pushes Vita back to ropes, but Vita puts Adora in a corner. They go around the way, the ref counts, and Vita lets off. Adora says okay, bring it then. They tie up and Adora headlocks. Vita pulls hair, powers out, but Adora runs her over! Fans fire up for Adora and she runs, but Vita drops. Adora blocks the hip toss to scoop and SLAM! Fans fire up more as Adora brings Vita up, and WRINGS her out! Adora drags Vita up, wrenches and WRINGS her out again!

Adora keeps on Vita, Alabama Lifts, and shifts around to have the INVERTED OCTOPUS! Vita endures as Adora stretches her! Fans rally, but Vita fights out! Adora wrenches but Vita throws Adora by her hair! Vita BOOTS Adora to a corner, talks some trash, and CHOPS! Vita then headstands so she can dig her boot into Adora’s chin! Brian Cage, Bishop Kaun & Toa Liona brought down the team of Leon Ruffin, Ryusuke Taguchi & Master Wato at Death Before Dishonor, but they might finally have run into a team that is their equal! As Jameson says himself, these challengers are jacked and juicy, but will they be large and in charge? Or will the Embassy refuse to sip the Savage Sauce?

The introductions are made, the belts are raised, and we see who are truly the biggest and the baddest in ROH!

The Code of Honor is skipped, the trios sort out, and Dirty Bulk Bronson starts against The Machine. They tie up, Bronson headlocks, but Cage powers out. Cage hurdles, drops and CLOBBERS Bronson! Then Cage flexes to show off his bulk. Cage then scoops, but Bronson slips free to scoop! Bronson spins around then SLAMS Cage! Fans fire up as Bronson flexes! Bronson puts Cage in the corner, tags Beefcake Boulder, and whips him in to SPLASH! Tag to Jacked Jameson, and Boulder whips Jameson in to SPLASH! Then Jameson whips Boulder in to ELBOW Cage down! Jameson covers, TWO!

Jameson drags Cage up but Cage wrenches out to HEADBUTT, SOBAT, KICK and SUPERKICK! Fans fire up and Cage tags Kaun. Cage stands Jameson up so Kaun can CHOP him in the corner! Liona is the one getting squashed on the apron for once! But Kaun DROPKICKS Bronson and Liona still POWERBOMBS Bronson!! The Gates are all fired up and so is Nana! The Embassy puts Bronson in for Kaun to cover, TWO! Bronson is hanging tough but Kaun tags Liona. The Gates put Bronson in the corner, they SLAP each other, and Kaun whips Liona in to SPLASH Bronson! Then feed to a LARIAT from Kaun! Liona covers, TWO!

Liona clamps a claw onto Bronson, drags him up, and fans rally. Liona brings Bronson up but Bronson throws body shots! And haymakers! Liona HEADBUTTS Bronson back down! Liona drags Bronson up, whips him to the open corner, and tags Kaun. Liona then BLASTS Boulder and Cage BLASTS Jameson! Cage whips Kaun in at Bronson to clothesline! Cage adds an UPPERCUT! Liona bails out, Kaun returns and dodges Boulder, but runs into a scoop! POWERSLAM! Cover, TWO!! Kaun survives but the fans fire up for Boulder! Boulder points to a corner, drags Kaun to a drop zone, and Boulder says he’s gonna do a flip! Fans want to see it, BOULDER MOONSAULT FLOPS as Kaun moves! Liona returns to CLOBBER Boulder! But Jameson is up top?! FLYING LARIAT takes out Liona! Cage tags in, he fireman’s carries Jameson for an F5!! Bronson tags in, dodges the discus and double grips, SKY HIGH BOMB!! Fans fire up as Kaun drags Jameson up. Jameson fires hands and SPINEBUSTERS Kaun! But Liona clinches to BELLY2BELLY Jameson! Boulder runs in, Liona dodges, Boulder’s BODY CHECK meets KNEE!! Liona storms over to drag Bronson up. Bronson fires off hands, runs, and he clotheslines Liona outta the ring! Cage returns to DISCUS LARIAT!! Jameson climbs again, but Cage catches him! And rolls Becca to her feet to LARIAT her back down! Fans are torn but Leyla stalks Becca to a corner. Leyla stomps a mudhole into Becca, and digs her boot in, but lets off as the ref counts.

Becca sputters, Leyla drags her up, GUT WRENCH PLEX! Leyla looms over Becca, kicks her around, and stalks her to a corner. Leyla whips Becca corner to corner hard, then runs in to clothesline! Leyla suplexes high and hard, and says “Too easy.” Leyla taunts the Becca fans, then wraps on a rear bearhug. Leyla squeezes and thrashes Becca around but Becca endures. Fans rally up, Becca fights up, and Becca throws elbows! Leyla lets go and Becca fires off forearms! But Leyla shoves Becca, swings, but misses! Becca SHOTGUNS and fans fire up! But one thing Lexi can do for Athena right now is to tell the “cowards” in the locker room to just step up! Athena is so bored of beating local jobbers, porcelain hussies and talentless lacks. Charlette & Robyn return to action, looking to define themselves in ROH and perhaps create an ROH Women’s Tag Division! Will they start on that here tonight? Or will their opponents bring a world of hurt to ROH?

The Code of Honor is upheld, though with attitude from the Renegades. Charlette starts against JC and the two tie up. Charlette waistlocks, SLAMS JC down, and then talks trash. Charlette claps at Tiara then drags JC up. But JC kicks low, reels Charlette in, snap suplex! Cover, ONE! JC stays focused and whips Charlette but Charlette reverses. Robyn gets a cheap shot in but JC DECKS her! JC ROCKS Charlette, CHOPS her, ROCKS her again, and whips. Charlette reverses and distracts the ref, Robyn trips JC up! Tiara protests but Charlette tags Robyn in. Robyn CLUBS away on JC then runs to BLAST Tiara!

The Fallen Goddess sent out the word, and surely someone is going to jump on this opportunity. Will that 32-0 streak be broken in the aftermath of Death Before Dishonor? Or will the only thing that breaks be another “porcelain” opponent?

The Code of Honor is upheld, though with some snark by Athena. And she pulls Marie in close to get up in her face! So Marie ROCKS Athena! The bell rings, Marie fires off, but Athena shoves her! Marie dodges, UPPERCUTS, UPPERCUTS and whips! Athena hits buckles hard, then Marie KICKS her in the back! Marie wrenches and whips but Athena reverses. Marie goes up and over and handsprings to SPLASH! Fans rally up and Marie snapmares Athena. Marie lines up the shot and KICKS Athena again! And then NECK SNAPPER! Cover, ONE!! Athena is tougher than that, but Marie runs to KICK her again!

Marie runs, but Athena TOSSES her to ropes! And then runs up to DECK her! Athena stomps Marie, dares her to get up, KICKS her, and then drags Marie up to throw her down! Athena CLUBS Marie, CLUBS her again and again and again, and says “This is MY show!” Marie rises, Athena runs in and SHOTGUNS Marie to the apron! And then she WRECKS Marie with a baseball slide dropkick! Fans cheer as Athena cheers herself on. Athena waits on Marie, and Marie rises up as the ring count climbs. At Death Before Dishonor, Mike Bennett & Matt Taven lost out on the ROH World Tag Team Championships once again. But the chase is never done! Will the OGK win big to build back up? Or will The Professional & The Hot Sauce do just the same?

The Code of Honor is upheld between these ROH staples. The teams sort out and Mike starts against Tracy. They tie up, go around, end up on ropes, and Mike has Tracy caught. The ref counts, Mike lets off but shoves Tracy. Tracy comes back, ties up and then ROCKS Mike! Mike CHOPS Tracy! Tracy forearms, Mike CHOPS, repeat, then Tracy DECKS Mike! Mike tags Taven and Taven runs in, but Tracy wants that arm! Taven moves around, whips Tracy away, and Mike gets a cheap shot in! Taven ENZIGURIS and then tags Mike. Mike brings Tracy around to whip into Taven’s BOOT! FOREARM! MISSILE DROPKICK! Cover, ONE!!

Mike stomps Tracy and tags Taven back in. Scoop SLAM, and then Taven’s MACHO- NO, Taven has to land on his feet as Tracy moves! Tracy dodges Taven again, hot tag to Titus! Titus spins Taven to short arm LARIAT! Short arm LARIAT! Fans fire up as Titus wrenches and torture racks, AIRPLANE SLAM! Cover, TWO! Titus is frustrated but he keeps after Taven. Showing favoritism to Joe? That is incorrect. Stokely makes his own decisions. Stokely’s the big boss! Right, Stokely? Stokely says yeah, that’s right. Joe says Stokely needs to tell the people who he is! Stokely says he IS Stokely Hathaway! He’s on the Board of Directors! This is HIS block! What he says goes!

Stokely is the Rough Rider of ROH! He barks it up, and says that Lexi needs to check the facts and get it right. Joe pats Stokely on the back and says, “Right?” Stokely says, “Yes, sir.” Well, one thing is clear, but it isn’t that Stokely is in charge. One of the Workhorsemen clashes with The Fallen Angel in the kickoff of this newest contender tournament! But will Scrap Metal be able to scrap Daniels? Or will Daniels start towards redoing his ROH Grand Slam?

The Code of Honor is upheld, the bell rings, and the two circle. Fans rally up, the two tie up, and JD puts Daniels in a corner. JD swings, Daniels dodges to CHOP and forearm! JD shoves Daniels away, Daniels dodges the chop to headlock but JD powers out. JD swings again, Daniels dodges and arm-drags! Daniels has the armlock and he grinds JD down. JD fights up, pulls an ear since Daniels is bald, but the ref counts either way. JD whips, Daniels gets under but JD elbows him away! JD runs but Daniels DROPKICKS JD down! Fans fire up, Daniels CLUBS JD again and again and again!

Daniels goes to a corner, JD rises up, and Daniels runs in to forearm smash! Daniels keeps moving, and he forearm smashes again!

The Premier Athlete has been going on and on and on about his physical fitness, and he certainly doesn’t eat greasy fast food. But will that mean this All Beef Underdog be too much for Nese and his eight pack? Or will Nese chew him up, spit him out, and move on to the next round?

Of course Sterling has to talk… And he says his client has something to say. Nese tells New Jersey, “There’s a reason why all of you are sitting out there, and this beautiful body is on TV. Because this beautiful body is championship material, and soon, I’m gonna have the hardware to back it up.” And Nese says it is fitting that his opponent’s name is “Cheeseburger.” Yeah, the “tubbies” would cheer for a fattening food. “Did you all know that cheeseburgers are destroying this country!?” Fans rally up for “CHEESE-BUR-GER! CHEESE-BUR-GER!”

But Nese says he has amazing news. Before he throws Burger in the trash, he’s gonna help the fans burn off the burgers they’ve been stuffing down all day! Because right here and now, they’re gonna do GROUP TRAINING! Nese wants everyone to stand up and stretch! Raise your hands to the sky, stop sitting on your asses! Let’s do jumping jacks! But wait, here comes Cheeseburger! Fans fire up as New Jersey’s own is ready for a fight! The bell rings and Burger offers the Code of Honor. Nese accepts it reluctantly, and then rushes in! Burger gets around, waistlocks, but Nese reaches back. Burger avoids the headlock to ROCK Nese!

Nese RAMS Burger to a corner and fires off fast hands! The ref counts, Nese lets off and he fires up! Fans rally for Burger as Nese whips him corner to corner. Burger goes up and around and baits Nese into knuckle locks. Burger wrenches, sticks a leg out as bait and Nese falls for it. Burger leap frogs, says kiss this, then slides under to block a haymaker to body shot! Burger wrenches, climbs up onto Nese, and has the escalara armlock! Burger flexes, then traps that arm to TWEAK it! Burger kips up and fans fire up! Nese goes to ropes, Burger runs in and wrenches to ELBOW BREAKER! Burger fires off on the arm, then has Nese in a corner.

Nese blocks the whip by holding ropes, but Burger keeps trying. Nese kicks low, whips Burger to the corner, and runs in, but only gets buckles as Burger goes to the apron! Burger endures the squeeze and fans rally up. Burger throws elbows, shifts around, and he rains down fists! Nese pushes Burger away, then he ROCKS Burger with a left! Nese reels Burger in, suplexes, but Burger blocks! Nese ROCKS Burger again, reels him back in, and he mocks the fans rallying up. Nese suplexes, but Burger knees back! Nese still holds on, but Burger knees free! Nese SOBATS, mocks the fans, but Burger suplexes Nese! Fans fire up with Burger and he rises to his feet! Nese goes to a corner, Burger runs in to forearm SMASH! And then BULLDOG! Burger drags Nese up but Nese shoves him away.

Burger cartwheels to evade, and he SUPERKICKS! Nese staggers, fans fire up as Burger heats it up, SHOTEI!! Cover, TWO!??! Nese survives the strike handed down from Jushin Thunder Liger! The brother of Bandido lost to Pac on Dynamite, and he certainly won’t forget The Bastard now. But will Gravity rise back up towards a title opportunity? Or will the Saint of Augusta make up for JD Drake falling just earlier tonight?

The Code of Honor is not upheld as Henry kicks the handshake. The bell rings, the two circle, and Henry trips Gravity, goes after an arm, and he wrenches Gravity to a top wristlock. Henry brings Gravity down but Gravity bridges up! Gravity flips through the armlock to arm-drag, and then he kips up! Fans cheer as Gravity eggs Henry on. They tie up, Henry wrangles Gravity again, steps on him, then brings him up. Henry wrenches and wrangles Gravity but Gravity kips and bounces and keeps going, and fans cheer as he goes for about TEN! But Henry lets go and Gravity drops! Fans boo but Henry goes back for the arm.

Henry wrenches, Gravity spins to headlock, then Gravity wrenches to a wristlock. Henry rolls, handsprings, wrenches, but Gravity handsprings through the wringer! Fans cheer, but Henry BOOTS Gravity down! Henry calls Gravity stupid, and he whips Gravity to ropes. Gravity holds ropes, BOOTS back, then dumps Henry out! Gravity ROCKS Henry, builds speed, and fans fire up as Gravity FLIES! Direct hit at the ramp! Fans fire up and Gravity brings Henry up. Gravity whips but Henry reverses, only for Gravity to handstand on the apron. But Henry SUPERKICKS, then APRON BACK SUPLEXES!

Henry stands on the apron, and he traps Gravity’s head to NECK TWIST! Fans boo but Henry soaks it up. Henry looms over Gravity, mocks the fans cheering, and he eggs Gravity on. So Gravity CHOPS! And CHOPS! And shoves, ducks, leaps, but into a DEATH VALLEY DRIVER! Cover, TWO! Henry keeps on Gravity with another NECK TWIST! And he holds onto the neck! Gravity gets free but Henry drags Gravity back up. Henry snapmares Gravity, puts some stank on the kick pad, but then clamps on a neck wrench! Henry then KICKS Gravity in the back! Gravity writhes but Henry mocks the fans as they boo.

Henry scuffs Gravity, eggs him on, and fans rally. Henry stomps a hand and shouts at Gravity to get up! Gravity rises, Henry brings him around, but Gravity CHOPS! And CHOPS! Henry throat chops! Th ref reprimands, Henry whips but Gravity reverses to trophy lift! But Henry slips free! Henry waistlocks, but Gravity throws elbows and Henry staggers away! Gravity runs in, Arabian Press ARM-DRAG! Gravity runs, ducks n’ dodges and handspring BACK ELBOWS! Then trophy lift, and the MILITARY PRESS DROPKICK! Cover, TWO! Gravity keeps his focus and he hurries up the corner!

We saw the Mogul Embassy hold onto the ROH World Six Man Tag Team Championships, and we’ve seen The Peacock & Tate Twins battle them for those titles. Will Castle & The Boys win here to get just one more crack at Cage, Kaun & Liona? Or will go belly up against Slim J, Jeeves Kay & Sonny Kiss?

The Code of Honor is upheld, the trios sort out, and Jeeves starts with Castle. Jeeves talks trash on Castle, but Castle ROCKS Jeeves! And whips him to the corner, and BOOTS him! Tag to Brandon, tag to Brent, and they double whip to double leap frog and DOUBLE ARM-DRAG! Cover, ONE! Brent keeps on Jeeves but Jeeves throws hands! Tag to Kiss, Kiss & Kay mug Brent, then Kiss digs a boot into Brent’s face! The ref reprimands, Kiss lets off and then waits on Brent. Brent gets away to tag in Castle and fans cheer this rare encounter. Castle and Kiss circle, tie up, and Castle puts Kiss into a corner.

Kiss tags Jeeves and Jeeves runs up to ROCK Brent! Jeeves scoops to SLAM and SPLASH! Cover, TWO! Jeeves returns, to get an EXPLODER! Fans fire up with Castle and he looks around. The Trustbusters are all down on the outside, and he asks who is legal? Well that doesn’t matter! “BRING ME A BOY!” Brandon runs in, Castle LAUNCHES him onto Kiss & Slim! Then Castle TOSSES Brent onto Jeeves! Brent puts Jeeves in, Castle hoists him up, but Jeeves claws free! Jeeves POSTS Castle, rolls Castle up, with tights! TWO!! Castle escapes but Jeeves snarls. Jeeves whips, Castle reverses and Jeeves ends up on the apron. Jeeves shoulder sin, slingshots up and over, but into the Alabama! BANGARANG!! Cover, Castle & The Boys win!

A great win for this trio, but it is a long climb back up the mountain. Castle says he isn’t having fun, because the fans are in danger! The fans are seeing things they don’t need, but they do need Castle! The Peacock is all fired up, but will that fire help him burn a path back to a title?

My Thoughts:

A really good episode, but I’m a little disappointed they made this episode two hours. Though at the same time, they sprung the entire first round of a new contender tournament on us. We got a good promo from Joe and Stokely to introduce it, though. And great matches from all four first-round match-ups, though I knew Shane would basically squash Serpentico. As fun as Castle & The Boys VS Trustbusters was, because Castle is always fun to watch, I would’ve made one of the tournament matches the main event. Probably Gravity VS Henry, but a main event win might’ve been too much for Gravity this soon. I figured Daniels would beat JD, and Nese VS Burger was really good stuff. But I suppose Nese winning makes sense, Daniels needs a Heel to fight next round.

And going back to Castle & The Boys, I don’t know why ROH would build them back towards the Six Man titles again. As much as fans love that team, they’ve already faced the Embassy and lost. The Embassy VS Iron Savages was a great match, and a great first match in ROH for Jameson, but I figured the Embassy would retain. I really have no idea what team will dethrone these guys, they’re being booked almost too strong. Maybe whatever trio comes out of the Blackpool Combat Club VS Death Triangle VS Best Friends & Cassidy will be seen as contenders and they’re the ones who take down The Embassy.

Great Pure Division stuff to open the night, though Shibata was mostly a judge so Woods and Sterling could call him out in person. Shibata VS Woods for next week is going to be awesome stuff, I’ve always liked Woods as a wrestler, but I don’t see Woods being the guy to dethrone Shibata. Likewise, we’re still seeing Athena just demolish everyone. Willow was the best chance and they chose not to go with her at Death Before Dishonor. I suppose we’re on the long wait for Leyla to build herself up, and she got a good win tonight, but so did Adora. This feels like the same vibe as me thinking Mark Briscoe should’ve won the ROH World TV title, but at least ROH gives multiple women matches a night.

Great match from Kingdom VS Titus & Tracy, and great win for The Kingdom, but I honestly can’t be sure what they’re to do now that Aussie Open has the ROH tag titles. Aussie Open ain’t losing a thing until they’ve loaded up on belts, such as regaining the NJPW Strong Openweight and IWGP Heavyweight Tag Team Championships. And Kingdom isn’t gonna get the AEW World Tag titles. Even with FTR VS MJF & Adam Cole on Saturday, the winner of that is not going to lose to The Kingdom. Though I would love if The Kingdom interacted with MJF & Cole to heap on more of the “many friends of Adam Cole.”
