This is Zero Hour and not Trios Hour because Billy is scared to get in the ring with Jameson, cuz he knows Jameson will knock him right out! Just like The Iron Savages are all fired up from sipping the new flavor of Savage Sauce, the Double Chocolate Chunk! They bring the BULK~! Mini-savage “Big Justice” is at ringside is given a headband, and Jameson says they’re taking all the Low T Meat Riders to TIDDY CITY!!

The teams sort out, and Bronson starts against Bowens. The fans rally as the two circle, fans sing “OH~ Scissor Me, Daddy!” Jameson says shut up, there’s no scissoring today! The two tie up, Bronson powers Bowens to the corner, then lets off, to fire haymakers! The ref counts, Bronson CHOPS, but Bowens CHOPS back! And CHOPS again! Bowens whips, Bronson reverses, but Bowens goes up and over! Then he hurdles Bronson to headlock. Bronson powers up and out, Bowens hurdles, ducks ‘n’ dodges, and FACEBUSTERS! Bowens taunts Boulder and the fans fire up. Bowens tags Caster, and The Acclaimed double whip.

Caster drops, Bowens bypasses, knee lift and NECKBREAKER! Boulder storms in, but into BOOTS! ROLLING ELBOW! FLYING RANA! Boulder stumbles to ropes, The Acclaimed DOUBLE DROPKICK him out! The fans fire up, but Bronson DOUBLE LARIATS The Acclaimed! Bronson mocks the scissor fingers, and motorboats. Then we see MXM posing while watching this match. Bronson tags Boulder, CHOPS Caster, and Boulder SPLASHES! Caster flounders, Boulder ELBOWS him in a corner! And another ELBOW! Boulder whips, Caster goes up and back, then flops. The fans boo but Boulder stalks Caster to the apron.

Caster CLAWS Boulder’s face! And he TRIPS Bronson up! Caster goes back up to springboard and MISSILE DROPKICK! Direct hit but Boulder is still up! So Caster fireman’s carries! No, Boulder’s bulk is too much! Caster collapses, Boulder bumps him off buckles. Tag to Bronson and he sends Boulder in to SPALSH! Then Boulder feeds Caster to an ELBOW! Bronson motorboats, then BOOTS Caster down! Bronson drags Caster up but Caster fires body shots. Bronson KNEES low, DECKS Bronson, then he goes back to Caster. Bronson scoops, Caster slips free, but no Bowens to tag! Bronson SPLASHES!

Bronson sends Caster to the Savage corner but Caster BOOTS Boulder! Caster BOOTS Bronson, runs, but into a BOSS MAN SLAM! Bronson runs, Boulder tags in, and Bronson DIVES into Bowens! Boulder MEATSAULTS! Cover, TWO!! Caster survives being squished but Boulder tags Bronson. Bronson drags Caster up to scoop SLAM! Bronson goes up and up and says he’s gonna bust! DIVING HEADBUTT FLOP as Caster moves! The fans fire up and Caster crawls, but Bronson grabs his legs! Caster BOOTS free, hot tag to Bowens! Bowens LARIATS Bronson again and again, then ROLLING ELBOWS!

Boulder runs up, but into Rock Paper Scissors SUPERKICK! And then some kicks for Bronson, FAMOUSER! “EVERYONE! LOVES THE ACCLAIMED!” Bowens tags Caster and Caster climbs. Bowens hits the ARRIVAL! MIC- NO, Boulder catches Caster! Boulder ELBOWS Bowens, Caster tries to fireman’s carry! Boulder whips him away, pops him up, but Bowens is up! Bowens CROSSBODIES, but into Boulder’s arms!! DOUBLE WHAMMY!! Chicago is going wild, and Bronson climbs! Electric Chair Lift, SAVAGE SPLASH!! Cover, BOWENS BREAKS IT! The fans fire up again and Bowens fires hands and CHOPS on the Savages!

Bowens roars, runs, but into a POP-UP FLAPJACK! Bronson SENTONS! The straps come down, The Acclaimed are stacked in a corner! Boulder and Bronson combine again, SAVAGE CANNONBALL MISSES! The Acclaimed let them hit buckles, and Jameson protests! But Daddy Ass YANKS Jameson down, and DECKS him! “SUCK IT!” And then Caster fireman’s carries!! DEATH VALLEY DRIVER!! Caster roars, tags Bowens, and then Bowens powers up! Bowens gets Bronson for THE ARRIVAL! Caster is up to MIC DROP!! Cover, Acclaimed win!

Zero Hour – Dustin Rhodes, Sammy Guevara & Holo.grm VS The Premier Athletes w/ Mark Sterling!

“Smart” Mark stops Arkady Aura from even starting as he introduces his team of Josh Woods, Tony Nese & Ariya Daivari. They have decided to let these Chicago losers take part in a winning team for once with a team building exercise. Even low IQ individuals can follow along. When Sterling says, “Athletes,” you all say, “Rock!” Nothing else! Hands in! Ohhhh~! “ATHLETES!” “SUCK!!” Sterling is already furious! But here comes Team Texas, just as we saw them last night on Collision! Will The Natural, The Spanish God and the cyberspace luchador prove these Premier Athletes aren’t ready for the gold?

The trios sort out and Sammy starts with Nese. They circle, feel things out, and tie up. They go around, Sammy blocks a waistlock with a facelock, and rolls with Nese. Sammy waistlocks, Nese wrenches out to wristlock, but Sammy wrenches back. The fans rally, Nese puts Sammy on ropes, and he jabs low! The ref reprimands but Nese whips. Sammy reverses, backflips then DROPKICKS! And kips up so smooth! The fans cheer, Sammy brings Nese up, but Nese pulls the hair! Tag to Daivari and they mug Sammy with haymakers! The ref counts, Nese lets off but Daivari stomps a mudhole in!

Daivari lets off to argue with the ref and taunt Dustin. Daivari whips Sammy, ELBOWS him down, and covers, ONE!! Daivari clamps on a chinlock and he grinds Sammy down. The fans rally, Sammy fights up, and Sammy throws elbows. Daivari CLUBS Sammy, taunts Dustin, then back suplexes, but Sammy lands out! Sammy JUMP KNEES! Both men are down and the fans fire up! Sammy and Daivari crawl, hot tags to Nese and Hologram! The fans fire up as Hologram fires forearms on Nese! Nese SOBATS, whips, but Hologram BOOTS from the corner! Hologram goes up, and he KNEE-BOARDS off Nese!

Hologram dodges Nese, ENZIGIRIS! SOBAT and SWEEP for Daivari, ENZIGIRI again! Woods runs up, he gets a KICK, but he whips Hologram! Nese & Daivari hip toss but Hologram uses that to RANA Woods! Hologram fires hands, hammerlocks and FLATLINERS! Nese runs up, into a SPANISH FLY! Cover, TWO!! The fans fire up for Hologram and he fires up with them! Hologram KICKS Nese, KICKS again, then runs. Woods gets in to KNEE Hologram outta the air! The fans boo but Nese covers, TWO!! Nese tags Woods and Woods drags Hologram up. Woods whips Hologram hard to a corner, then scoops, BACKBREAKER and LARIAT!

Woods drags Hologram to a cover, TWO! The fans rally, Dustin coaches Hologram, but Woods fires knees! Woods tags Daivari, they mug Hologram, but the fans chant “We Want Dustin!” Daivari scoops, SLAMS, and then taunts Dustin! The fans boo but Daivari CHOKES Hologram! The ref counts, Daivari lets off and still taunts Dustin. Daivari drags Hologram up, whips him hard into the corner, then tags Woods. They stand on Hologram, then Woods sucker punches Dustin! The fans boo and Dustin is pissed, but the ref stops Dustin. Woods TOSSES Hologram, and Sterling stomps away! The fans boo that weasel of a lawyer!

Woods goes out, drags Hologram up, and then puts him in. The fans boo but Woods kicks Hologram around. The fans rally up for Hologram, and he fires body shots! Woods CLUBS Hologram, goes up a corner, and YANKS Hologram up! Woods slips a bit, so he just shifts to RAM Hologram into the corner! Woods whips Hologram hard into the corner again, then whips to ropes. But Hologram tilt-o-whirls to SPIKE-RANA! The fans fire up while both men crawl! Hot tag to Dustin! The Natural blows past Woods to LARIAT! And LARIAT! Dustin whips., Woods reverses but Dustin says, “Not Today!” RHODES UPPERCUT!

Woods comes back, into the SNAP POWERSLAM! Daivari runs up, SNAP POWERSLAM! Nese CLUBS Dustin, whips, but Dustin hops on, DESTROYER!! Nese tumbles out, The Premier Athletes regroup, and Dustin says time to go up! Sammy & Hologram are on corners, Dustin CANNONBALLS while they DOUBLE ASAI MOONSAULT! Direct hit on all three targets!! The fans are thunderous as Dustin drags Woods up. Woods sends Dustin into railing! Nese knocks Sammy down, then he and Daivari feed Hologram right into Woods’ POWERBOMB! Daivari feeds Dustin to Woods now, for a wrench and OLYMPIC SLAM NECKBRAEKER! Cover, Sammy breaks it!

Sammy saves Dustin from #1RM, and then he and Hologram clear out the Athletes. Dustin UPPERCUTS Woods, reels him right in, but Sterling is on the apron! The ref reprimands, the fans boo, but Nese CLOBBERS Dustin! Sammy SUPERKICKS! Daivari SUPERKICKS! Hologram SUPERKICKS! Woods DECKS Hologram! Dustin has Woods! CROSS RHODES! Sterling barks again, so Sammy & Hologram storm up on him! The fans cheer as they have Sterling by his lapels, and TOSS him in! Sterling begs for mercy, but Dustin gives him CROSS RHODES!! Sammy FLYING CUTTERS Woods, Hologram HEEL KICKS!

Juice Robinson & The Gunns fell short at All In, but there’s no end to the title chase. Will the Collision Cowboys get back on the horse for all their Chicago Gold Members? Or will Evil Uno, Alex Reynolds & John Silver show it is better to #JoinDarkOrder?

The teams sort out, Austin starts against Reynolds, and the fans fire up for “GUNS UP!” The two tie up, Austin headlocks, but Reynolds powers up and out. Austin ducks ‘n’ dodges, then slips free of a scoop to spin Reynolds. More ducking and dodging., a trip and a THROWBACK! Silver runs up, Colten body shots him! Austin runs to knee lift! Colten LARIATS! Austin hops over Silver to tag Juice, and the fans fire up for the SENTON! Silver bails out so now Uno tries! He just gets a LEG LARIAT! The fans fire up for the Bang Bang Gang, “GUNS UP!” But then Dark Order flanks them! They RAM into each man, and then go up corners!

Bang Bang Gang hurries and they trip all of Dark Order up! Juice runs up to LARIAT Reynolds in a corner! Austin adds a SPLASH! Colten adds a SPLASH! The fans cheer as here comes the CANNON- NO, Dark Order saves Reynolds! They drag the Gunns out to THROW them into railing! Dark Order now LARIATS, FOREARMS and ELBOWS Juice! Feed to the FLAPJACK UPPERCUT! Cover, TWO! Reynolds drags Juice up, tags Uno, and they mug Juice. Uno DECKS Austin, then Silver steps in. Reynolds & Uno hold Juice while Silver runs, to hop up, and they pose! Kai ‘n’ Tai would be proud. Then DOUBLE RUSSIAN LEG SWEEP! Cover, TWO!

Uno argues the count, he gets in the ref’s face about it, but then he sucker punches Colten! Uno drags Juice up, he has to DECK Austin first! Juice ELBOWS Uno! And he ROCKS Reynolds! And he ROCKS Silver! And he ELBOWS Uno! Juice fires shots, the fans rally for “JUICE! JUICE! JUICE!” Uno kicks hard, and tags Silver. Dark Order whips Juice to the corner, run up again, but Juice dodges Reynolds! Then he adds Silver! Then he adds Uno! Uno splashes his teammates, the LEFT HAND O’ GOD sits him down! Juice sees Dark Order all in the corner, and he TRIPLE CANNONBALLS!! The fans fire up and Austin is ready!

The fans fire up as Juice hot tags Austin! Austin dodges Silver, BLASTS the corner, then goes up and over! He trips Silver, “SUCK IT!” Reynolds runs up, he gets JAB, JAB, JAB! Two step and a HAYMAKER! Uno is back, but Austin kicks him, says “SUCK IT!” and FAM- NO, Uno dodges! SOMETHING EVIL! Reynolds is up top, he FLYING DOUBLE STOMPS! Then he DECKS Colten! Silver ROCKS Austin, covers, TWO!! Austin survives but Silver tags Uno. Bang Bang Gang call to Austin and he crawls, but Uno clamps on a chinlock. The fans rally, Austin fights up, and he goes around and around, to SLING Uno out!

The fans fire up as Austin hurries, but Reynolds gets Uno back in! Uno hurries, but hot tag to Colten! Colten DECKS Dark Order one after the other! Colten whips Reynolds to DROPKICK! He dodges Silver to juke and NECKBREAKER! Uno is back, but Colten wrenches, full nelson and SLAM! The fans fire up, tag to Juice! Juice & Colten have Reynolds & Silver, whip, but reversal! Reynolds CLOBBERS Colten, Juice CLOBBERS Reynolds, Silver CLOBBERS Juice, Colten and Silver DOUBLE LARIAT! Uno and Austin run in, they DOUBLE LARIAT! The fans are thunderous as all six men are down!

Colten and Reynolds rise, and they fire up! “DARK ORDER!” “GUNS UP!” They use their teammates to leap, DOUBLE FLYING LARIATS!! Both men are down and the fans fire up more! Austin rolls Silver, Silver rolls through to kick< KICK and ROUNDHOUSE! Austin fights the waistlock, Silver SUPERKICKS! Silver runs into QUICK DRAW! Juice and Uno stand, JAB after JAB from Juice, then the LEFT- FEINT, JUICE IS LOOSE!! Cover, Bang Bang Gang wins!

Skye Blue is here!

Tony Schiavone welcomes her on stage as she has crutches, her broken ankle still a problem. But Chicago’s own hopes they didn’t think they’d have a night without her, right? This is the very building that three years ago, 2021, Tony Khan put her in the Casino Battle Royal. This means the world to her to be here now. Schniavone brings up the ankle, how is her recovery time table? Skye says she is doing everything she can to get back as fast as she can, but it is just a waiting game. Wait, what? Mariah May is raining on Skye’s moment! The AEW Women’s World Champion smiles as she cozies up to Schiavone, and says she is here to have her championship celebration!

The fans are torn, but Mariah says she isn’t gonna do it in Chicago. Now they all boo. But why is it the Windy City when no one here has ever been blown before? Skye tells Mariah that she knows about blowing, doesn’t she? Oh, Skye. It makes sense, you’re from Chicago! You have so much in common. You’re all broke, filthy, and lower your standards to make it enjoyable. The fans boo, but Skye says, “Thanks, skank.” Mariah says what Skye needs is some Glamour! Look now and never forget, this is your AEW Women’s World Champion, Mariah May! And then she kicks the crutches out and shoves Skye down!

The fans really boo now, because Mariah rains down fists on Skye! Mariah laughs, steps away, and then grabs a crutch! The fans boo but here comes Queen Aminata! Aminata takes a swing, Mariah goes running! Aminata helps Skye sit up, the fans cheer, and clearly Mariah has some karma coming her way. Will Aminata take Mariah’s crown to make it her own? When and where will we see Skye return to the ring?

 

Zero Hour – Big Money Trios Triple Threat: Top Flight VS The Undisputed Kingdom VS The Beast Mortos & Shane Taylor Promotions!

Darius, Dante & Action Andretti once won a $3,000 Trios Battle Royal, but they haven’t quite reached that golden mountaintop just yet. Could this new high roller match help them make that final push? Will Roderick Strong, Matt Taven & Mike Bennett put this money into The Kingdom’s treasury? Or will the menacing minotaur help #TAIGASTYLE and Big Bad Shaney T Boy get on a roll?

The teams sort out, and only two teams are legal at a time. Mike argues with Shane and Action who is stepping out, so Shane DECKS Mike! Action then DROPKICKS Mike out, so now we have our two! Shane then TOSSES Action to the open corner! Shane aims, runs up, and LARIATS! Shane then CHOPS Action, grins, and he drags Action up to TOSS him again! Action lands on his feet! Lee grabs Actoin, action elisp away and GAMANGIRIS Shane! But Lee tags in, Shane traps Action so Lee can go for a half nelson. Action fights and JAWBREAKERS free! Action waistlocks, Lee switches, Action switches, and they end up in the Top Flight corner.

Darius tag sin, rams Lee into KNEES, then mule kicks. Action goes up to KNEE DROP! Top Flight runs off The Kingdom, then they DOUBLE DROPKICK Lee! Cover, ONE! Darius wrenches Lee to CHOP him down! Cover, TWO! Lee ROCKS Darius, but Darius UPPERCUTS! Lee BOOTS Darius, spins him, but Darius headlocks. Lee powers up and out, Roddy stops Darius to tag in! Lee arm-drags Roddy, but Roddy blocks the next one to BACKBREAKER! And so it begins for the Savior of the Backbreaker! Roddy BOOTS Action, covers Lee, TWO! Roddy drags Lee up, CHOPS him down, and he taunts everyone.

Roddy puts Lee in th eopen corner, runs up, but Lee goe sup and over! Hot tag to Mortos! Mortos CLOBBERS Roddy, then he breaks the Kigndom’s lariats to DOUBLE RAM them! HEDABUTT for Roddy, DOUBLE LARIATS for the rest! Mortos gorilla presses to THROW Roddy at The Kingdom! The fans fire up as Mortos whips Roddy, Dante tags in before the POP-UP SAMOAN DROP! Roddy bails out, the fans fire up, and Dante springboards up and around, then GAMANGIRIS! Dante spirngboards again to CANNONBALL! The fans fire up again, adn Dante SHOTGUNS, kips up, and fireman’s carries! AIRPLANE SPIN!

The fans fire up as Mortos goes around and around and around! Dante lets Mortos down, steadies himself, and Mortos staggers. Mortos roars, runs up, but Dante goes up and over! Then under and around, to DROPKICK! Taven tags in but Dante dodges to ROCK Taven again and again! Taven swings, Dante ducks and SOBATS! KICKS! Step-up, MONKEY FLIP! The fans fire up, Dante has Taven in a corner. Dante whips corner to corner, Taven goes under and Mike distracts! Taven CLOBBERS Dante, to then SINGLE LEG SLAM! Cover, TWO! HALF CRAB, then a tag to Bennett! Bennett drops elbow after elbow! Cover, TWO!

Bennett drags Dante into a chinlock, but then he just CLAWS Dante’s face! Bennett drags Dante up, tells Chicago off, then CHOPS! And ROCKS Dante! Tag to Roddy, he CHOPS Dante, then tags Taven. They mug Dante, Taven tags Bennett, and The Kingdom double whip. POP-UP BOSTON BAYONET! Cover, TWO! Dante survives and the fans fire up! Taven drags Dante around, the other teams argue, and Dante tries to kick free! Taven holds on tight, Shane tags in! Shane SPLASHES DOWN on Dante! Taven and Shane argue, Shane HEADBUTTS Taven! Shane drags Dante up, JABS him again and again in the corner, then lets off as the ref counts.

Shane CHOPS Dante, then tags Lee. They mug Dante, then Lee stomps away. Lee drags Dante up, whips him to the corner, then runs up to LARIAT! Lee winds up but Dante dodges! Dante CHOPS, jumps up, but Lee puts him up top! Dante BOOTS Lee, and FLYING BULLDOGS! The fans fire up while both men are down! Dante and Lee crawl, hot tags to Shane and Darius! Darius RAMS Shane, DECKS Roddy, and fires off big hands on Shane! Shane shoves Darius away but Darius BOOTS! HOTSHOT BULLDOG! GAMANGIRI! Mortos runs up, into a BOOT! Darius tseps in, COMPLETE SHOT! The Kingdom runs in, Top Flight LARIATS them up and out! Lee runs up, into a BOOT! SHOTGUN GERMAN SUPLEX!! The fans fire up as Darius & Action run, but Roddy trips Action up while Shane LARIATS Darius! KICK O’ THE KING from Taven! Roddy beats up Action, Taven FLIES onto everyone else! “IIII’M Matt Taven!” But Mortos roars! Mortos builds speed to DIVE into everyone!! The fans are thunderous and Mortos eyes Leila Grey. The Top Flight Attendant has caught the eyes of a beast, but Top Flight TRIPLE FLY onto everyone else! The fans fire up and Top Flight hauls Shane into the ring!

Darius hurries up but Shane JABS! Dante tags in, then tag to Action. Shane sends Dante at Darius, Darius helps Dante up and over, ASSISTED TORNADO DDT! Action RUNNING SHOOTING STAR! Cover, Roddy breaks it! Lee BOOTS Roddy! Darius dodges Lee to PELE! Bennett ROLLING ELBOWS Darius! Dante JUMP KNEES Bennett! Taven LEG LARIATS Dante! Mortos POP-UP HEADBUTTS Taven!! Action dodges Mortos to tilt-o-whirl DDT!! And a kip up so smooth! Action boots but Shane blocks to KNEE, clinch, and URENAGE! Mortos tags in, he runs up to SPEAR Action!! But Roddy tags in!

The Wolf of Wrestling tried to be AEW’s anti-hero, but he couldn’t help but show his true colors when he was green with envy over others. Red Death ended up a casualty of MJF’s war with Will Ospreay, but he isn’t going to let MJF just forget him! Both men are aiming for the jugular quite literally, so who walks away from this while the other is left broken?

WHOA, Garcia attacks MJF from outta nowhere! The fans fire up but the ref drags him away! The MJF banner has to be tucked away quickly because Garcia is enraged! The bell rings, MJF cowers int he corner, but he suckers Garcia in to YANK him into buckles! MJF stomps away on Garcia, lets off as the ref counts, and he storms around the ring. MJF goes back but Garcia puts him in the corner to stomp away! The fans are thunderous, the ref counts, and Garcia lets off at 4. Garcia drags MJF up, reels him in, but MJF fights the lift! MJF RAMS Garcia into buckles! Garcia clutches his neck, MJF clutches his own, and the fans rally up.

MJF stands while fans sing “F HIM UP, DANNY, F HIM UP!” Garcia SHOTGUNS MJF down! MJF goes to the apron, Garcia storms over, and he drags MJF up by his “big ass head.” But MJF HOTSHOTS Garcia! Then he storms in to hit a NECKBREAKER! The fans boo but MJF seethes. MJF drags Garcia up, CLUBS him on the neck, and Garcia goes to a corner. MJF whips Garcia corner to corner to WRING him out! The fans duel, “He’s Our Scumbag!” “NO HE’S NOT!” MJF flexes and dusts himself off while soaking up cheers and jeers. MJF goes back to Garcia, drags him up, but Garcia CHOPS! And then he BOOTS MJF!

Garcia runs, but into a scoop! HOTSHOT, and with some stank on it! MJF storms around, then he stands on Garcia’s neck! MJF stomps the neck, and Garcia goes to ropes. MJF puts Garcia in ropes, bends him back against the ropes, and even CLAWS Garcia’s eyes! The ref counts, MJF lets off, and fans boo. MJF hauls Garcia up for a BIG back suplex! MJF mockingly asks, “Did that hurt, Danny?” MJF clamps on a cravat for the neck wrench, but Garcia endures. The fans rally, Garcia fights up, and he throws body shots. Garcia whips but MJF blocks to reel him in! But Garcia fights with body shots! MJF still IMPALER DDTS! Cover, TWO!!

Garcia survives and MJF seethes, and then he CLAWS Garcia’s eyes! The ref counts, the fans boo, and MJF lets off at 4. MJF paces while fans duel, and then MJF drags Garcia up. The Garcia fans are much louder but MJF just flips them off. MJF suplexes, but Garcia fires knees! Garcia and MJF tumble up and out to the floor!! The ref starts a ring count, both men stir, but they’re both still down at 5 of 10. MJF rises and springs in at 6, and he wants the count to handle this! We’re at 9! Garcia springs in at 9.99!! MJF is stunned, and Garcia shakes his head as he rises up. The fans fire up as both men stand, and Garcia fires forearms!

MJF tries to hit back but Garcia blocks to counter punch! Garcia fires a string of haymakers, whips, but MJF reverses. Garcia LARIATS anyway! The fans are thunderous and Garcia drags MJF up. Garcia reels MJF in, TWIST ‘N’ SHOUT! Garcia holds on to drag MJF up, TWIST ‘N’ SHOUT! Garcia isn’t done, he drags MJF up, but MJF suplexes! Garcia slips free, kicks low, TWIST ‘N’ SHOUT the third! The fans are thunderous again and President Ace of NJPW would be proud. Garcia stands, leans on ropes, and he storms over to MJF. Garcia drags MJF up, reels him in, but MJF backdrops free! The fans are torn while both men are down.

MJF and Garcia go to opposite corners, Garcia runs up but into an ELBOW! MJF goes up to leap, but Garcia gets under! MJF gets around Garcia, Garcia powers out, but leaps into the POWER BREAKER! High stack, TWO!! Garcia survives but MJF is too sore to be upset. The fans rally and duel again, and MJF crawls over to Garcia. MJF pulls the bandages away from Garcia’s forehead, to BITE the wound! The one he put on Garcia just last Wednesday! The fans say he’s sick but MJF doesn’t care. MJF spits on the ground, rises up, and the ref checks Garcia. MJF rains down fists on the forehead, and the ref counts. Garcia is bloodied again!

MJF soaks up the cheers and jeers, then he goes back for Garcia. MJF drags Garcia up, and he asks if Garcia has deja vu! MJF DECKS Garcia, then he points to the corner! MJF wants to repeat history with Garcia, and he drags Garcia over, even though he’s a ragdoll. MJF SLAPS Garcia, puts him up top, and that crimson mask is already big on Garcia’s face. MJF climbs up, cravats, kisses Garcia goodnight, and scoops. The fans go nuts, but Garcia kicks and claps heels! Garcia CLAWS MJF’s face! The fans fire up, Garcia lets off as the ref counts, and he turns MJF around. TOP ROPE DDT!!! Both men are down and the fans are thunderous!

Garcia grits his teeth through the blood on his face, and he slowly sits up. Garcia crawls his way over to MJF, covers, ROPEBREAK!! MJF survives by a literal foot! Garcia sees that, and now he is seething. Garcia pats MJF on the head, drags him up, and reels him in! The fans fire up as Garcia lifts, but his own neck and shoulders hold him back! Garcia lets MJF go and falls to his knees, and the fans rally. MJF goes to a corner, rises up, and Garcia runs in. MJF pops Garcia up, MULE KICK TO THE FACE! Then the LONG ISLAND SUNRISE!! Cover, TWO!?!? Garcia survives and MJF is beside himself! The fans rally, but Garcia’s eyes are glazed over.

MJF catches his breath before he rises up again. Garcia sputters, waking up from that landing, and MJF kicks him. MJF stomps Garcia, kicks him more, and the fans boo. Garcia seethes as he sits up again. MJF kicks at Garcia, but he’s only adding fuel to the fire! The fans fire up with Garcia as he rises up! Garcia is foaming at the mouth! The fans shout, “YOU~!” But MJF SPITS at Garcia! So Garcia fires off haymakers and forearms! The fans fire up with Garcia, but MJF kicks. Garcia blocks, MJF pokes him in the eyes! MJF soaks up the heat, then he drags Garcia up. MJF calls his shot but Garcia cradles! TWO! MJF has it, TWO! Garcia has it, TWO!!

Both men stand, MJF DECKS Garcia! The fans are thunderous while both men are down again! MJF rises, the fans rally, and he storms over to Garcia. MJF drags Garcia up, suplexes, but Garcia slips free to O’Conner Roll! TWO, MJF has it, with ropes! The ref says no, and Garcia kicks free! MJF stands, dodges Garcia, and GERMAN SUPLEXES! Garcia is right up!?! And he GERMAN SUPLEXES MJF! MJF is up, Garcia LARIATS!! Both men are down and the fans are thunderous again! “This is Awesome!” as Garcia and MJF stir. Garcia drags MJF up, reels him in, but MJF trips Garcia! MJF wants the Boston Crab, and he gets it!

The fans are torn as Garcia endures! Garcia fights, tucks and grabs for a boot! He turns MJF around and wrangles him into an omoplata! LEBELL LOCK!! A shoutout to his role model, Bryan Danielson! MJF fights, rolls, covers, TWO!! Garcia holds on but MJF uses that to get a CROSSFACE! MJF pulls back on that neck, but Garcia endures! Garcia claws at the mat, but he’s fading! MJF can’t hold on, though! Garcia is free, he steps through, DRAGONTAMER!! The fans are thunderous as Garcia sits deep on the leglock! MJF reaches out, but Garcia drags him away! Garcia sits WAY back!! MJF endures, but he grabs at Garcia!

MJF drags Garcia down into the FUJIWARA ARMBAR!! Garcia endures the Salt of the Earth, so MJF shifts to make it a MOUNTED ARMBAR! Garcia endures the grapevine, and he fights around! MJF grabs that far arm, pulls it back, RINGS OF SATURN!! Garcia endures, MJF even grabs the legs! MJF is looking like ZSJ with this hold! But Garcia still fights with his one free leg! Garcia grabs MJF, MJF breaks free, so Garcia SLAPS! SLAPS! And SLAPS!! Then the GUILLOTINE FACELOCK!! MJF is flailing, flapping, and fading! The ref checks, but Garcia doesn’t let MJF’s arm drop!? Garcia reels MJF in, lifts him, and snarls as he hits the JUMPING PILEDRIVER!!! Cover, TWO?!?!? MJF survives and the fans are electric! Garcia is seething again as he drags MJF into a corner. Garcia stands MJF up, puts him on the top rope, and then climbs up after him!

Garcia has to steady himself on the ropes, but then he reels MJF in. MJF kicks and flails, then BITES Garcia’s ear! MJF shoves Garcia down, slumps to the mat, and he claims he needs the ref to check. MJF uses the ref as a shield as Garcia storms up, and then LOW BLOW!! Jackknife, MJF WINS!!

The snake in the grass finds another way to cheat and steal the victory! Garcia is still seething, because while he lost, he isn’t done fighting. MJF shouts to Garcia, and offers a handshake?! What BS is this? Cheat a man and then show him respect? MJF still expects Garcia to take his hand, and… Garcia does? But then Garcia blocks the cheap shot to LOW BLOW MJF back!! The fans cheer, and there is still rage in those eyes! Garcia looks to the corner, the one in the top right that MJF used against him. Garcia puts MJF back up top! Garcia told MJF that no one in AEW cares about him anymore, and he SPITS on MJF! SECOND ROPE PILEDRIVER!!!!

The fans are thunderous as Garcia gets his revenge! Garcia asks MJF if he minds if they sit together. And then just like MJF did, Garcia shakes him around, kisses him on the cheek, and storms out of the ring. Garcia goes up into the crowd to celebrate with the people! MJF won the match, but with medics checking him now, has Garcia won the war?

 

AEW World Tag Team Championships: The Young Bucks VS Claudio Castagnoli & Wheeler Yuta!

Matthew & Nicholas Jackson have been the tyrannical EVPs, even to the point that they’ve promised everyone that one way or another, the AEW World Championship is coming home to The Elite. But then, will the Swiss Superman & Decoder do their part to help Bryan Danielson by A) whooping The Bucks and B) taking The Elite’s gold?

The introductions are made, the belts are raised, and we see which side strikes first!

The teams sort out, Yuta starts against Nick, and the fans rally for “B C C! B C C!” Yuta and Nick tie up, Yuta headlocks, then he wrenches. Nick wrenches and YANKS the arm, wristlocks, but Yuta spins, wrenches, and wristlocks back. Nick uses ropes to flip through and wrench back. Nick YANKS the arm, wristlocks, but Yuta rolls, handsprings and wrenches again. Yuta whips., Nick goes up and over, but then Yuta goe sup and over! Yuta scoops to SLAM, then SENTON! Cover, TWO! Yuta stays on Nick, tags Claudio, and the fans cheer as Claudio CHOPS Nick! Nick goes to a corner, he knucke locks and CHOPS!

Nick hurdles Yuta to go up and up, FLYING RANA ARM-DRAG COMBO! The fans are torn, but Nick swaggers around. Claudio & Yuta frown, and run up to DOUBLE SHOULDER TACKLE! Then they split the wishbone! Nick hobbles, tags Matt, but Matt gets run over! Then they split the wishbone on him, too! Claudio drags Matt over, tags Yuta in, and they split the wishbone again! Tag back to Claudio, and yep, they split the wishbone again! Tag back to Yuta, for a FOURTH wishbone split! The fans want more, so Claudio tags back in! Matt takes a FIFTH! N ick runs up, The BCC trip him, and they get both Bucks! DOUBLE WISHBONES!

Nick storms out of the ring, kicks railing, but that hurts his foot! Nick insults the fans, but Yuta & Claudio atomic drop Matt, Manhattan drop him, and then mock him. Matt headlocks to punch Yuta! Matt whips,. Yuta reverses then runs up, but Matt dodges! Matt BLASTS Claudio, the Bucks LARIAT ENZIGIRI combo! Matt hits Claudio again, CANNONBALL ENZIGIRI for Yuta! Tag to Nick, CATAPULT GAMANGIRI! DOUBLE STOMP BACKBREAKER! Nick soaks up the cheers and jeers, then he goes back for Yuta. Nick KNEES Yuta in the back, KNEES him there again, then splits his wishbone! And then KICKS him!

Yuta snarls, stands, and CHOPS! And CHOPS! Nick claws Yuta’s eyes! The ref reprimands, Nick tags Matt, and The Bucks double whip. Yuta dodges Matt but gets the GUTBUSTER! And the NECKBREAKER BACKBREAKER COMBO! Cover, ONE!! Matt clamps onto Yuta with a chinlock to keep him down. The fans rally, Yuta fights up, and he JAWBREAKERS free! Yuta DECKS Nick, but Matt scoops! BACKBREAKER! Nick tags in, LEG DROP! Cover, TWO! Yuta toughs it out but Nick mocks Claudio, “Make the tag~!” The ref keeps Claudio back, but Yuta ROCKS and CHOPS Nick! Yuta runs, into a WHEEL KICK!

Nick smirks, tags Matt, and The Bucks double whip. Yuta ducks the lariats but Matt waistlocks. Yuta BOOTS Nick, gets around him, but then dodges Matt! Matt LARIATS Nick, Yuta LARIATS Matt! The fans fire up, Yuta crawls, hot tag to Claudio! Claudio runs up to UPPERCUT Nick! And UPPERCUT Matt! Claudio fires a flurry of UPPERCUTS on Matt! Then he jukes the ref, but Nick runs up! SHIING WIZARD! Matt gets the cravat, but Claudio just slips right out of Sliced Bread! Claudio serves more UPPERCUTS, and he goes corner to corner to UPPERCUT again and again! The fans fire up as Claudio just keeps on moving!

Claudio dodges The Bucks, and he DOUBLE LARIATS them down! The fans are thunderous again while The Bucks bail out. Claudio then goes out to UPPERCUT Matt! He runs in to UPPERCUT Nick! Claudio keeps going, and he UPPERCUTS Matt again! Claudio pushes Matt in, hopes the front row is alright, and then he goes up, to CROSSBODY! Cover, TWO! Matt stays in this but the fans rally up. The fans call for it, and Claudio says yes, time to SWING! But Matt BOOTS Claudio away! Claudio blocks the superkick, Matt ROCKS him, but Yuta tags in! Claudiog goes up but Matt kicks the legs out!

Nick is up top, but Yuta anchors him! Claudio turns things around on Matt, Yuta ROCKET LAUNCHES Nick onto Matt! Claudio pushes Nick out, Yuta ANGLE SLAMS! Clutch and SEATBELT! TWO!! Nick DUMPS Claudio over railing! Yuta drags Matt up to fire forearms! But Matt throat chops! Matt whips, Yuta KICKS back! Yuta blocks Kic’is kick, sends it into Matt, then runs. But Nick SUPERKICKS! Yuta rweinds, blocks a kick, and again sends it into Matt! SUPERKICK from Yuta to Nick! GERMAN SUPLEX on Matt! Bridging cover, TWO! But Yuta holds on! Yuta has the arms, CATTLE MUTILATION! But Nick’s up top! SWANTON BOMB!!

Claudio runs up but into a BOOT! He POP-UP- NO, Nick RANAS Claudio out! But Claudio avoids the Penalty Kick! But the FLYING RANA hits this time! Everyone is down at ringside and the fans fire up! A standing count starts on Matt and Yuta, but they’re up at 4. Yuta UPPERCUTS, ROCKS and repeat! Yuta runs, Nick trips him and spins him! Matt wheelbarrows, Nick slingshots in, FACEBUSTER! Then MOONSAULT onto Claudio! Matt covers, TWO! Yuta survives and Matt is frustrated. The fans rally, The Bucks regroup, but Chicago is on Yuta’s side. Nick climbs, Matt brings Yuta up to fireman’s carry. Matt runs up, but Claudio trips Nick!

Yuta ghost pins Matt, TWO!!! No bang for The Bucks but Yuta ROCKS Matt! Hot tag to Claudio! He UPPERCUTS Nick, dodges Matt, then springboard to FLYING UPPERCUT! The fans fire up and Claudio has Matt’s legs! Nick leaps to sunset flip! Claudio rolls through, but into an E V P TRIGGER!! Cover, YUTA BREAKS IT! Nick TOSSES Yuta, and The Bucks pump up the Reeboks! The fans boo but Claudio rises into the DOUBLE SUPERKICKS! And then E V P TRIGGER BLOCKED!? DOUBLE- NO, The Bucks fight free of the slam, and they reel Claudio in. But Claudio DOUBLE SUPLEXES first!

Nick bails out, Yuta is back, and he DIVES onto Nick! Matt GIANT SWINGS Matt around! The fans are thunderous as Claudio goes around and around and around! TEN, then FIFTEEN! Then TWENTY! Claudio lets Matt go, covers, TWO!! Matt survives but Claudio drags him around. Tag to Yuta, and Yuta climbs up! But Nick hurries in, he dodges Claudio and SUPERKICKS Yuta! But Claudio POP-UP UPPERCUTS! Matt SUPERKICKS Claudio! Matt stumbles over to Yuta, CLUBS him, then climbs up after him. Matt CLAWS Yuta’s face, then goes to the very top! But Claudio SHORYUKENS! Claudio goes up to get Matt!

AEW International Championship: Will Ospreay VS PAC!

While it was the Aerial Assassin who went All In and took this title back from MJF, The Bastard grabbed himself the AEW World Trios Championships alongside The BCC. However, he still isn’t over being snubbed for this title in the first place. Ospreay assured Pac last night that no one’s forgotten Pac, they’ve just been waiting for him to do something meaningful! Will Pac do just that here tonight? Or will Ospreay prove that he is finally moved out of The Bastard’s shadow?

The introductions are made, the belt is raised, and we see if the winds of change blow in the Windy City!

The bell rings and the fans are thunderous again already! Ospreay and Pac feel that energy, and Pac steps out of the ring. The fans boo and the ref wants him back in, so Pac steps back in. The two circle as the fans fire up again, and the two tie up. Pac headlocks, Ospreay powers up and out but Pac runs him over! Ospreay kips right up, and the fans sing for him. Pac snapmares, but Ospreay handsprings through that! Ospreay and Pac stare down again, then tie up. Pac headlocks to hit the takeover, but Ospreay endures the grind. Ospreay fights up, powers up and out, then drops to hurdle. Pac leaps over, Ospreay bypasses, but Pac handsprings through the backdrop!

Pac waistlocks, Ospreay elbows free, then Ospreay whips. Pac ducks ‘n’ dodges, RANAS, but Ospreay handsprings through that! The fans are thunderous again but Pac is annoyed. Pac and Ospreay reset, then Pac BOOTS! Pac pushes Ospreay out, then he goes up and up to ARIHARA SKY TWISTER! Direct hit and the fans fire up! Pac puts Ospreay puts in, to springboard, into a DROPKCIK! Ospreay takes Pac down, then he goes up! ARIHARA SKY TWISTER of his own!! The fans are thunderous as Ospreay puts Pac in, and Ricochet is watching. The old rival loves it, but then Pac dodges Ospreay’s springboard!

Pac comes back, DOUBLE BOOTS take both men down! “This is Awesome!” while both men are down. Ospreay kicks at Pac, Pac kicks back, and the fans rally as both men sit up. They start throwing SLAPS! Ospreay and Pac agree to stand, and the fans cheer! They fire forearms now, and then Ospreay CHOPS! And CHOPS again! But Pac kicks Ospreay! Then BOOTS him! Ospreay goes to a corner, Pac digs his boot in! The ref counts, Pac counts along, and lets off at 4. Pac then digs his boots back in! The ref counts, Pac lets off at 4, and Ospreay sits on the apron. Pac goes out to fetch him, and send him into railing!

Ospreay slumps down and the fans fire up for Pac! Pac BOOTS Ospreay, brings him around, and he whips him into more railing! The fans are torn as Pac paces, but the ring count climbs. Pac drags Ospreay up, puts him in at 5 of 10, and then stomps Ospreay around. Pac stands Ospreay up, puts him on the top rope, and then climbs. Pac goes to the very top, and he brings Ospreay up, to SUPER DUPER BRAINBUSTER!! Ospreay writhes, clutches his neck which is already heavily taped, but Pac still has to crawl his way over. Cover, TWO!! Ospreay is still in this but Pac stays cool. Pac clamps onto Ospreay with a headlock and grinds him down.

The fans rally, Ospreay endures, and he kicks around. The fans rally up more, and Ospreay fights to his feet. Ospreay throws body shots, then JAWBREAKERS! Pac staggers, Ospreay fires hands! Pac kicks low, whips, but Ospreay reverses. Ospreay runs up but Pac puts him on the apron. Ospreay ROCKS Pac first, then springboards, but Pac bails out! Ospreay pursues but Pac kicks low! Pac whips, Ospreay goes up to the railing! Then he BOOTS Pac, goes up and out and springboards in, PIP PIP CHEERIO! The fans fire up and Ospreay goes to the ring. Ospreay waits on Pac and the fans rally up. Pac stirs, the ref checks him, but he still sits up.

Ospreay builds speed and he handsprings, to SASUKE SPECIAL! Direct hit and down goes Pac! The fans fire up again and Ospreay puts Pac in. Ospreay whips, Pac reverses, but Ospreay handsprings to NEURALIZER KICK! Cover, TWO! Ospreay stays cool and drags Pac to a drop zone. Ospreay goes up a corner, but Pac trips him up! Pac climbs up after Ospreay, goes to the very top, but Ospreay fires body shots! Ospreay HEADBUTTS Pac, then slips under to tuck Pac in! CHEEKY NAN- NO! Pac mule kicks first! Pac QUEBRADAS, Ospreay catches him! But Pac TORNADO DDTS!! The fans are thunderous again as Pac bring Ospreay up!

Pac LIGER BOMBS!! Cover, TWO!! Ospreay survives, Pac scowls, and Pac goes to a corner. Pac climbs, but Ospreay rolls away to the far corner. Pac hops down, goes over to Ospreay from the apron, but Ospreay takes a swing! Pac RAMS into Ospreay, goes up and over, but runs into a SPANISH FLY! Cover, TWO! Ospreay is a little frustrated, but he refocuses while the fans rally up. Ospreay calls his shot, springboards, but Pac blocks the cutter! Inverted suplex into a gut wrench! But Ospreay turns that around, to FACEBUSTER! And HIDDEN- NO, Pac ducks it! SUPERKICK! Deadlift– NO, Ospreay fights with elbows!

Pac shoves and BLINDSIDE BOOTS Ospreay, to GERMAN SUPLEX! Ospreay lands out!? Springboard, OSCUTTER!! But Ospreay’s own neck hurts! He crawls to the cover, TWO!! Pac stays in this, and the fans hope these two “FIGHT FOREVER!” Ospreay slowly rises, he drags Pac up, but Pac ROCKS him first! Ospreay applauds that, clearly not as affected by that. Ospreay puts his hands back and eggs Pac on. Pac fires more forearms, but Ospreay just shakes those off! Pac swings, Ospreay swats it, and HOOK KICKS! Pac falls and Ospreay goes to the apron. Pac stands up, Ospreay SUPERKICKS!

The fans cheer while Pac sputters. Ospreay calls his shot again, goes up and up, but Pac catches him! APRON GERMAN!! Ospreay is folded up and the ref checks him. The fans lose their minds, but Pac isn’t done, though! Pac stands Ospreay up, and jumps to APRON POISON-RANA!!! Ospreay goes to the floor, Pac puts him back in! BRUTALIZER!!! Ospreay endures as Pac puts on the pressure! Ospreay fights around, reaches out, but Pac pulls on him! Ospreay still fights to the ROPEBREAK! Pac lets go in frustration, but the fans continue to rally. “This is Awesome!” as Pac rises and paces.

Teammates and friends turning on each other is nothing new to pro-wrestling, but this right here might be The Galaxy’s Greatest Breakup. The Babe with The Power is the one who decided that she and Kris, the women who’ve been in the most Street Fights in AEW history, should end this in a Street Fight, but will she come to regret that? Or will she be the one standing tall on a #StaturdayNight?

The bell rings and the fans fire up as these two stare down. Stoke slides a chair in for Kris, and it reads, “RIP NEW JACK.” Kris swings, Willow dodges and POUNCES Kris! The fans fire up, Willow reels Kris in, BUCKLE BOMB! Kris sits down, Willow headbangs and the fans are with her! Willow powers up and runs in, CANNONBALL! Cover, TWO! Willow is making this fast ‘n’ furious but Kris hurries to the apron to slow this down. Willow brings the chair over, CLUBS Kris, and fireman’s carries. Kris fights free with forearms, then waistlocks! Willow holds onto ropes for dear life, so Kris CLUBS away!

Kris grabs the chair and SMACKS Willow with it! Kris then brings Willow off the apron, POWERBOMB through the Spanish announce desk!! The fans lose their minds, but Stokely helps Kris bring out a TABLE! Fans are torn, they love tables but they despise Stoke. But Stoke & Kris set that up, then Kris stomps Willow! The fans go nuts and even Willow can’t believe she did that. But then she fires up! Chicago is with Willow as she then tells Stokely, his ass is next! Willow chases Stokely to the back, and Kris sits up, bleeding from the forehead. Willow stands Kris up to fire hands on that bloody cut, but Kris hits back! And CHOPS! And CHOPS! Willow ROCKS Kris, Kris ROCKS Willow, then Kris SPEARS Willow off the stage! They crash down through tables!! The fans are thunderous as Kris flounders out of the wreckage. Willow sputters but she’s somehow still conscious! Kris rises, pushes Willow back to ringside, and the fans boo.

Kris TOSSES Willow into the ring, drags her up, and kicks her around. Kris wristlocks, kicks, and CHOPS! Willow hits back, Kris fires more forearms, then shoves. Kris ELBOWS, but Willow roars! Kris fights the scoop, then scoops and SLAMS in return! But Willow’s right up! Willow scoops to SLAM! Kris rises, DOUBLE LARIATS take them both down! The fans fire up while Willow and Kris each flop out of the ring. They each start looking under the ring, and while Kris has a black bag, Willow has a steel chain! They both storm into the ring, and while Willow wraps her fist with “Kris’ chain,” Kris SLAPS her! Kris dares Willow to do it!

Willow fires STEEL FISTS into Kris’ face! And she BITES the bloody forehead!! Willow runs, but Kris ducks the lariat to GERMAN SUPLEX! Willow flounders, Kris goes back to the bag! Kris pours out THUMBTACKS! Kris goes back to Willow, stomps her, then hauls her up. Electric Chair Lift! But WIllow punches free! Willow CLUBS away on Kris, brings her around, fireman’s carry! Kris fights free, mule kicks, then runs, but Willow dodges! THe scissor kick lands on TACKS!! Kris is shouting in pain, but Willow BOOTS her! And then fireman’s carry, DEATH VALLEY DRIVER on the tacks!! Cover, TWO?!?!

Kris survives, even with all those tacks stuck in her! Willow is frustrated, and perhaps a little reluctant to push this any further, but the fans rally up. Willow hauls Kris up, fireman’s carry, and then she goes up the corner! Kris fights free, slips down, and CHOPS! CHOPS! And then she UPPERCUTS! Willow SLAPS Kris, so Kris SLAPS back! Kris fires hands, then goes to the very top! Kris brings Willow up, to SUPER SPANISH FLY!! The fans are thunderous, and Kris has the chain! STEEL CHAIN LARIAT!! Cover, TWO?!?! Willow survives and shocks Kris! Willow flops out of the ring, Kris says it isn’t going her way!

“This is Awesome!” as Kris puts Willow in, and gets a new chain! Wait, that’s a dog collar! Kris straps Willow in with one end, but Willow fights her. Kris HEADBUTTS Willow to make her stop! Kris then straps herself in with the other end! They’ve gone up from Street Fight to a strap match of sorts! Kris stomps Willow, and now these two are joined by more than their former friendship. Willow uses that to reel Kris in! SPINEBUSTER! Willow hauls Kris up to fire forearm after forearm! Kris SLAPS and CHOPS in return! They brawl, stagger, and DOUBLE LARIAT! Both women drop to their knees, leaning on each other, and the fans fire up!

Kris and Willow stand, and then Kris gut wrenches! TOMBSTONE!! And then using the chain, Kris CHOKES Willow and pulls her back!! Willow flails, she TAPS, Kris wins!!

Winner: Kris Statlander, by submission

Willow wanted this fight, but she could not win this fight! Stokely finally returns to celebrate with Kris, and she holds up the chain as her trophy. However, will Kris not be done with Willow while Willow is still CMLL Women’s World Champion?

 

Backstage interview with Will Ospreay.

Renee Paquette congratulates Ospreay on the win tonight, and asks how he is holding up. Ospreay says Pac will go down as one of the best high flyers. But Ospreay needed this. This was his first big PPV defense. If Pac wants a rematch, then come find him. But Ospreay is sure a certain someone was watching. He hopes that person isn’t watching anymore and he pulls his finger out to get his payday. Yeah, Ricochet, Ospreay knows you’re backstage! But oi oi, here he comes! Ricochet says he’s just having a good time, why’s Ospreay gotta talk trash? Ospreay says it’s cuz Ricochet just go there, he can’t just collect the checks to earn that money.

Ricochet says don’t worry, he’s gonna get his in time. Ospreay says okay, then go talk to Tony Khan, start getting some wins under his belt, then come talk to Ospreay. Ricochet says fine, he’s got ’em lined up. See you real soon, Champ. Get better. When and where will we see these old rivals go another round in the ring?

 

AEW Continental Championship Fatal 4 Way: Kazuchika Okada VS Mark Briscoe VS Orange Cassidy VS Konosuke Takeshita!

The Rainmaker took this title and has defended it only a handful of times, mostly being more busy with The Elite’s business. But now, he’ll make up for lost time by taking on THREE challengers at once! Will Okada make it through the Sussex County Chicken, Freshly Squeezed and The Alpha? Or will we have a new champion one way or another?

The introductions are made, the belt is raised, and we see who makes it reign in Chicago!

Don Callis of course joins commentary, it’s the only way he can be out here under Continental Rules. The bell rings, and the fans fire up already. Cassidy & Briscoe being Conglomeration, they stare down with Konosuke and Okada. The brawl is on, and Konosuke TOSSES Cassidy! Okada fires shots and UPPERCUTS Mark. Mark bails out, and now the fans fire up as Okada and Konosuke are alone with each other. Okada eggs Konosuke on, but then Cassidy rolls back in. Cassidy puts his hands up, but but Okada and Konosuke stop him., They double whip, but Cassidy ducks, and DOUBLE RANAS! The fans fire up as Cassidy keeps moving!

Cassidy dodges Okada, DIVES onto Konosuke, then he tilt-o-whirls to DDT Okada! Cover, ONE!! Cassidy stays cool, and he takes aim from a corner. ORANGE- BOOT! Okada stops Cassidy, but here comes Mark! Mark fires a REDNECK UPPERCUT! Then he CHOPS, fires forearms, and whips. Okada reverses but Mark CLOBBERS him! The fans fire up, Konosuke storms in, and the two circle. They fire forearms, and fans rally for “DEM BOYS!” Konosuke gets the edge, then he whips Mark. Mark reverses, runs up and LARIATS in the corner! Mark keeps moving, but Konosuke follows ot LRAIAT back!

Konosuke runs but Mark follows, to LRAIAT! And CHOP! And CHOP! And then CHOP again! Konosuke CHOPS in return! And CHOPS, CHOPS, and CLAWS the eyes! The fans boo but Konosuke lets off. Konosuke runs, Mark follows! Konosuke breaks the waistlock but then so does Mark, and Mark PELES! But now, Conglomeration meets Conglomeration. Mark and Cassidy circle, but Okada runs in! They kick Okada then TOSS him out! But Konosuke is back! So Conglomeration kick and TOSS him! The fans fire up as now Cassidy & Mark build speed! Cassidy DIVES onto Konosuke, Mark WRECKS Okada with a dropkick!

The fans fire up, Mark says BANG BANG for the FOLEY ELBOW! Cassidy says bang, and he LAZY ELBOWS! The fans fire up, Conglomeration puts Okada and Konosuke in, double covers, TWO! They trade, try more covers, TWO! The fans fire up, and Chicago tells Callis off even though he hasn’t done anything. Mark fires off on Okada in a corner, and Cassidy brings Konosuke up, Konosuke suplexes Cassidy! Mark kicks low, suplexes, and he takes Konosuke up and over! But Okada kicks Mark to suplex up and over! Cassidy kicks Okada, reels him in, but Okada suplexes first! So Mark suplexes Okada!

Konosuke is back, and he suplexes Mark! Chicago cheers becoming Suplex City one way or another! Cassidy has Konosuke, but Konosuke suplexes! Cassidy tumbles out, Mark hits Konosuke, and Mark suplexes Konosuke! The fans fire up, as now Okada kicks Mark and suplexes again! Cassidy returns, kicks Okada, but Okada suplexes! Cassidy flops, he just can’t catch a break! Mark runs up to kick Okada, and Mark suplexes! And now Konosuke kicks and suplexes Mark! Cassidy is up, he is determined to get this! But Konosuke blocks the suplex! Konosuke suplexes, into STUN DOG MILLIONAIRE! The fans fire up and Cassidy suplexes Konosuke!

Cassidy flexes, the fans fire up more, but Konosuke stands. Cassidy turns around to see him, and he ducks a haymaker! Cassidy then BOOTS from the corner, goes up, BOOTS again, but now Okada DROPKICKS him down! Cassidy flops to the floor but Mark REDNECK UPPERCUTS! Mark puts Okada up, and he REDNECK UPPERCUTS Okada to the floor! Mark builds speed but Konosuke ELBOWS him down! Konosuke builds speed to FLY onto Okada and Cassidy! Callis cheers on his Alpha, but Mark gets a chair! Mark sets the chair up and uses it to FLY onto Konosuke! The fans fire up with Mark as he pounds the steps!

Cassidy has Mark’s chair now, but he puts it aside. And he “chops” Mark! Mark “chops” back! They “chop” back and forth, then Cassidy winds up, so he can high-five Mark! Then they start firing forearms! The fans cheer both guys, but then Cassidy dodges to fire a flurry! Mark shoves Cassidy, they both ROCK each other! And again! Okada and Konosuke return! STEREO GERMAN SUPLEXE! The fans fire up as again, Konosuke and Okada are alone! They both grin, and this is the culmination of AEW, NJPW and DDT Pro! The forearms fly back and forth, neither man backing down, and the fans love it!

Konosuke shakes his head as he fires boxing elbows on Okada! Konosuke runs, but into the DROPKICK! Okada then ripcords, but Konosuke BLUE THUNDER BOMBS! Cover, TWO!! Okada survives but Konosuke smirks as he rises. Okada sits up, Konosuke runs up, POWER- NO, Okada blocks the knee, CLUBS the leg, and runs. But into a BOOT! Cassidy goes up top and DEEP- NO, Konosuke stops the DDT to suplex! Cassidy fires knees but Konosuke puts him on the top rope. Konosuke ROCKS Cassidy, climbs up, and he brings Cassidy to the very top. SUPER DUPER PLEX! But now Mark is up top! FROGGY-BOW! Cover, Okada breaks it!

The fans fire up while Okada scoops Mark to SLAM him! Okada then goes to the corner, to MACHO ELBOW Mark! The fans fire up, and Okada winds up, to FLIP US OFF! Still no Rainmaker Pose, but the RAIN- NO, Mark ducks the lariat! Mark underhooks, JAY- NO, Okada fights free! Mark short arm LARIATS! Konosuke BOOTS Okada down! Cassidy adds an ORANGE PUNCH!! Okada is out, Konosuke shoves Cassidy into Mark! Then he whips Cassidy, but Cassidy ducks ‘n’ dodges to tilt-o-whirl, only for Konosuke to block! Suplex, but STUN DOG- NO! Konosuke blocks, gut wrenches, and tucks! BASTARD DRIVER!! WHEELBARROW GERMAN!!

Konosuke fires up with the fans, and he takes aim at Cassidy! POWER DRIVE- NO! Mark kicks and underhooks! JAY DRILLER!!! Cover, Okada drags Mark away! But then Mark clinches for an EXPLODER to the floor! Mark hurries up top, FROGGY-BOW, onto knees! Konosuke saves himself, “This is Awesome!” as Konosuke runs up to POWER DRIVE KNEE!!! Cover, Cassidy breaks it!! Callis says Cassidy’s a snake, but takes one to know one. Konosuke drags Cassidy up, winds up, but Cassidy has hands up. To put in his pockets! Then he ducks and Alabama Lifts, BEACH BREAK! The fans fire up as the elbow pad comes off!

Cassidy loads up, and he ORANGE- ALPHA ELBOW!! Then the TAKESHITA LINE!! Konosuke hauls Cassidy up, suplexes, RAGING- NO, Okada saves Cassidy so he can TOSS Konosuke! Mark runs up, into a ripcord and RAINMAKER!! Okada DROPKICKS Takeshita! Cassidy victory rolls, twists the legs, TWO!!! ORANGE- NO, Okada dodges to RAINMAKER!!! Cover, Okada wins!!

The odds weren’t in his favor, but Okada finds a way to win! Will he continue to overcome whatever is put in front of him to still be the Rainmaker?

 

AEW TBS Championship: Mercedes Mone VS Hikaru Shida!

The Two Belt Boss vows to be the best at what she does, and she dared anyone from anywhere to come see her. The Shining Samurai said bet, because she is The Ace of AEW! She got cheated the first time around, but The Brickhouse is no longer a factor given the ringside ban put in place! Will Shida cut Mone’s gold collection in half now that it’s a fair fight? Or will Mone have some proverbial aces up her sleeve?

Speaking of sleeves, Mone’s wearing a robe very much a lavish parody of Shida’s old attire. And then reveal! Star-spangled outfit! The introductions are made, the teal belt is raised, and we see if history will be made again!

The fans are torn, but Shida stands on Mone’s head. Mone pushes her away, but Shida drags her up. Mone knees low, runs, but Shida blocks the dropkick into a STRETCH MUFFLER! Mone endures, the fans rally, but Shida thrashes her around! Mone fights, reaches out, and has the ROPEBREAK! The ref counts, Shida holds on until 4, and she throws Mone down as she lets go. Shida covers, TWO! Shida is annoyed, but she drags Mone back up on the apron. Shida bumps Mone off the buckles, then climbs up. But Mone fights the deadlift and GAMANGIRIS! Shida wobbles, Mone goes up, SUNSET FLIP BOMB! Shida flounders, and sits up into a METEORA! Cover, TWO! Mone is furious, and she CLOBBERS Shida! Cover, TWO! Mone grinds her forearm into Shida’s face, but lets off as the ref reprimands.

Mone smiles as she has Shida’s face paint smeared on her forearm. She mockingly bows to Shida, drags her up, and bumps her off buckles. Mone digs her boot into Shida’s face, lets off as the fans boo, and then she runs in to DOUBLE KNEE! Mone snapmares Shida into a chinlock and she grinds her down. Shida fires elbows but Mone digs a knee into Shida’s back! Then she wraps Shida up with her own arms, it’s a straitjacket stretch! Shida endures, fights up, and she RAMS Mone into buckles! And again! Mone still holds on, and she SLINGS Shida into the buckles! Mone runs up, blocks boots, and ROCKS Shida! STOCK DROP! Cover, TWO!

Shida toughs it out and Mone is frustrated but the fans rally up. Mone talks trash, digs her foot into Shida’s face, then drags Shida up. Mone CLUBS Shida, CLUBS her more, then clamps onto a chinlock. Shida endures, fights up, and the fans rally. Shida has Mone as a backpack, and she FLINGS her off! The fans boo but Mone finally lets go. Mone storms back up on Shida, has the legs, but Shida kicks at her! Mone YANKS Shida up, but Shida lands on her feet! LARIAT!! The fans fire up again while both women are down! The ref checks on them, and starts a standing count. Shida and Mone stir at 3, the fans duel, and both women sit up at 5. Shida and Mone stand at 6, and they fire forearms back and forth! Mone ROCKS Shida, and says, “Bring it, B*TCH!” So Shida ROCKS Mone! Mone ROCKS Shida, Shida grabs Mone by her blue hair and fires hands! The fans fire up as Shida HAMMERS away on Mone!

Shida finally lets off, to KNEE her down! Mone falls back, Shida goes up the corner! Shida is up top, but she has to leap over as Mone runs in! Mone runs up, CODE BREAKER! And then a SUNSET BUCKLE BOMB! Mone shouts out her Role Model, then she METEORAS! Cover, TWO!! Shida survives and Mone is losing her cool! The fans rally, Mone rises, and she kicks Shida around. Mone slaps Shida, scuffs her, and the fans boo. Mone talks trash on Shida, kicks her some more, and then kicks her harder! Mone drags Shida up, reels her in, and gives some Latina Heat. Snap suplex for Una Amiga! Then DOS AMIGAS! And THREE AMIGAS!

The fans are torn, but everyone loves Eddie Guerrero. Mone puts Shida in the drop zone, then goes up a corner. FROG SPLASH, onto knees! Shida drags Mone up, and she suplexes for a FALCON ARROW! Wait, she drags Mone up again, another FALCON ARROW! And then A THIRD FALCON ARROW! Three Tomodachis! Cover, TWO!! The fans fire up as Shida aims, to KATA- NO! Mone blocks, shifts, and SHIN BREAKER! Then DRAGON SCREW! Shida flounders, clutches the knee, but Mone gets her for a BACKSTABBER! “That’s why I’m the champion!” The fans boo, but Shida’s right up! GERMAN SUPLEX!

Mone flounders, Shida runs, TAMASHII!! Cover, TWO!! Mone survives and Shida is furious! The fans duel again as Shida rises. Shida aims again, KATANA!! A blunt strike, but she drags Mone up again. KATANA!! That one was sharp! But Shida isn’t done, she KATANAS again!! Cover, TWO?!?! Mone survives, and she scrambles out of the ring! Three slashes from the Katana and she’s done with this! Wait, she’s grabbing for Shida’s kendo stick? Shida grabs it, too! They tug-o-war, and Shida YANKS Mone into the POST! The fans fire up, Mone flounders into the ring, and Shida storms in, but with the stick!

The ref says don’t do it! Shida still thinks about it, but her common sense returns, so she slams the stick down! But then Mone grabs Shida! Shida ELBOWS Mone! And QUESTION MARK KICKS! AEW World Championship: Bryan Danielson VS Jack Perry!

The American Dragon let the world know that the moment he loses this title, he will retire from competition. And with that, The Scapegoat pounced! Bryan vows he isn’t going to let Jack Perry be the one to end his reign nor his career, and that he’s gonna kick Jack’s freakin’ head in! But will Bryan keep his promise like he did at All In? Or will Jack go All Out to finish Bryan’s story?

Jack arrives in the Scapegoat bus, and The Bucks are there to greet him. They and about a dozen heavily armored guards accompany Jack in, will The Elite soon be celebrating with him? As for Bryan, it is once again “THE FINAL COUNTDOWN~!” The introductions are made, THE belt is raised, and we see who stays atop the mountain that is AEW!

The bell rings and fans sing, “OH~ Cry Me A River~!” Jack and Bryan are both amused by that just a bit, and then they step forward. The fans are thunderous already just from that! “YES! YES! YES!” echoes out, and then Bryan and Jack tie up. They go around, Jack arm-drags, and he stands up to pose. The fans boo but Jack soaks up that heat, then he and Bryan reset. They circle, tie up again, and Bryan waistlocks. Jack pries free, switches, and he SLAMS Bryan down. Bryan rolls but Jack holds on, then he slaps Bryan around. The fans boo more but Jack just grins. Bryan smirks, stands up, and they circle.

The two tie up, Bryan wrenches, and he pulls hair to then headlock. Jack endures the grind, powers up and out, but then Bryan runs him over! Things keep moving, Jack arm-drags, and he fires up! Bryan storms up, and Jack scrambles away! The fans boo, Jack is a lot more bark than bite. Jack paces around the outside, trolling both Bryan and the fans, but the ring count is climbing. Jack returns to the ring at 7 of 10, and resets with Bryan. They feel things out, knuckle lock, and have a Test of Strength! Or as Bryan calls them, a Test of Will. Jack kicks low, he wrenches the other arm, but Bryan rolls.

Bryan bridges, flips, and he gets under to NORTHERN LIGHTS! And arm-drag! Bryan has the wristlock, then headlocks, but Jack powers up and out. Jack drops, hurdles, but into a FLAPJACK! Bryan has the legs, and the fans fire up as Bryan hooks them up. Bryan toys with Jack just a little, then fishhooks his nose! The ref counts, Bryan lets go, he says he has ’til 5! Bryan grabs those arms, up, up and away! ROMERO SPECIAL! The fans fire up for the surfboard, and then Bryan brings Jack into a chinlock! Jack grabs at Bryan, Bryan claws Jack’s face, then CLUBS away on his neck and ears! The ref counts but Bryan lets Jack go.

The fans fire up as Bryan stalks Jack to a corner. Bryan drags Jack up, wrenches and trips him. Bryan has the wrists, but Jack scrambles free! The fans boo, no faces getting kicked in yet. But then Bryan WRECKS Jack with a dropkick! Bryan then aims, springboards, and FLYING CANNONBALLS! Direct hit and the fans fire up! “YES! YES! YES!” Bryan drags Jack up, puts him in the ring, and climbs. Jack stands, into a MISSILE DROPKICK! Jack tumbles right out of the ring while fans fire up again! Bryan then hurries out to the apron, so that he can FLYING- SUPERKICK! Jack uses Bryan’s moves against him!

Jack puts Bryan on the apron, and he DRAPING DDTS to the floor! The Scapegoat smiles and lounges as he strikes like The Viper, and the ref checks Bryan. That neck is always a concern, but Jack doesn’t care. Jack soaks up the heat, lets his hair down, and he goes back for Bryan. The fans tell Jack off, but Jack drags Bryan up to whip him hard into railing! Bryan slumps down, Jack sits him up in a chair. Jack mockingly trots his way to the far side, then comes back, to SHOTGUN Bryan into railing! Bryan clutches his head and neck, Jack puts him in, and then Jack takes his time for the cover. TWO! The fans cheer as Bryan stays in this.

Jack sighs but he stalks Bryan to a corner. Jack BITES Bryan’s forehead, then rains down fists! The fans boo instead of counting, but Jack stops before ten anyway. Jack blows kisses to the fans, then CHOPS Bryan! And CHOPS again! Jack whips corner to corner, runs up, and LARIATS! Jack turns Bryan to NECKBREAKER! Cover, TWO! Bryan survives and the ref checks again. That neck is still a concern, but Bryan is still in this. Jack stands Bryan up to CHOP! And CHOP again! Bryan huffs ‘n’ puffs as Jack CHOPS him again! Jack eggs Bryan on, CHOPS, but Bryan glares. Jack CHOPS, Bryan CHOPS! Bryan CHOPS even harder!

Bryan CHOPS and CHOPS and CHOPS, but Jack CLAWS the eyes! The ref reprimands, Jack lets off, and he puts Bryan on the top rope. Jack CHOPS, asks if the fans heard that one, and then climbs. Jack goes to the top rope, but Bryan slips under! Bryan trips Jack up and he lands on his Jungle Boy! Bryan climbs up after Jack now, and he then rains HAMMER ‘N’ ANVIL ELBOWS! The fans fire up, “YES! YES! YES!” Bryan then adjusts so he can bring Jack up, to SUPER DUPER BACK SUPLEX!! Both men are down and the fans are thunderous again! Bryan slowly rises, and he fires back up as he does! The fans rally as he and Jack sit up!

Bryan storms up while fans chant “YES! YES! YES!” Bryan KICKS! And KICKS! And KICKS! “YES! YES! YES!” Bryan winds up, but Jack ducks the buzzsaw to trip Bryan! Jackknife, TWO as Bryan bridges up! Bryan turns that into a LEBELL LOCK!! Jack endures, reaches out, but Bryan catches the arm, RINGS OF SATURN! Jack still kicks his way over, ROPEBREAK! Bryan lets go, but he stalks Jack to a corner. Bryan CHOPS, then he stands Jack up to KICK! CHOP! KICK! Bryan climbs up, and he rains down fists! The fans say “YES! YES! YES!” as Bryan hits ten! Bryan whips, Jack reverses, but Bryan goes up and over!

Bryan keeps moving, ducks ‘n’ dodges, but Jack drop toeholds! Float over, Jack has the legs, and he CLUBS away on Bryan! Jack has the arms now, to steal CATTLE MUTILATION!! Bryan endures his own move and fans boo! Bryan fights and the fans rally. Bryan turns things around, Jack still has the chicken wings, but Bryan fights to throw elbows! Jack half nelsons, then full nelsons, SNAP DRAGON SUPLEX! Jack smirks, finger guns, and the fans boo his parody of Kenny Omega. Jack stalks Bryan, hauls him up, and full nelsons again! SNAP DRAGON SUPLEX! Bryan flounders to ropes while fans boo more.

Jack stalks Bryan to the apron, but Bryan fights the nelson! Bryan has the ropes, breaks the nelson, and he turns to KICK Jack! Jack CHOPS back! Bryan KICKS! Jack CHOPS! The fans “YES!” for KICK, “BOO!” for CHOP! “YES! BOO! YES! YES!” But Jack blocks! Bryan fires elbows to fight the clinch, and he HALF HATACH PLEXES to the floor!! The fans fire up while the ref checks Jack. Jack is still in this, so Bryan drags him up and into the ring. Bryan climbs a corner, and he FLYING KNEE DROPS on Jack’s arm! Jack flounders, Bryan eggs him on! “You wanna be tough? You wanna be tough!?” PENALTY KICK to the arm!

The fans fire up as Bryan KICKS the arm! And KICKS Jack’s chest! KICK to the arm! KICK to the chest! “YES! YES! YES!” Bryan winds up, but Jack ducks the buzzsaw, but the BUZZSAW comes back! The fans fire up and Bryan goes to the corner. “YES! YES! YES!” starts up again as Bryan aims. Jack rises, Bryan runs up, BUSAI- NO! Jack flapjacks Bryan into the SNARETRAP!! The fans boo as Jack grinds Bryan down! Bryan fights his way over, reaches out, but Jack pulls back! Bryan still has the ROPEBREAK! The ref counts, Jack lets go at 4, and he mockingly says he has ’til 5. Jack CLUBS Bryan, and then he taunts Bryan, “You only care about yourself!”

Jack suplexes, but Bryan slips free! Bryan shoves, but the COMEBACKER hits! Jack wrenches, clinches, but Bryan cradle counters, TWO! Bryan dodges Jack, to ROUNDHOUSE! Jack flops in a corner, Bryan goes to another! The fans are thunderous as Bryan aims! Jack has the ref check him, and then uses him as a shield for the DROPKICK! Ref down, Jack half nelsons! Bryan switches to SAIDO! Bryan says it is time to kick Jack’s head in!! Bryan has the wrists, but here come The Bucks! The Bucks TACKLE Bryan and mug him! This is what they warned everyone they’d do, and there’s no stopping them without the ref!

Matt drags Bryan up, Nick climbs up a corner! T K DRIVER!!! Matt lets Bryan flop over, and they drag him to center. But here comes The BCC! Claudio & Yuta run The Bucks off into the crowd! The fans cheer as things are fair now, but Jack still has a chance! He wakes the ref up, then takes aim! SACRIFICING KNEE!! Cover, TWO?!? Bryan survives and Jack is beside himself!! Jack drags Bryan around, and he has the wrists! The fans boo as Jack grins, and he DRAGON STOMPS! The fans boo more, but Jack now parodies the Yes Movement with middle fingers! “NO! NO! NO!” Jack runs up, into a BUSAIKU KNEE!!

The fans are thunderous as Bryan hits back! Both men are down, but Bryan is hitting that second gear! Or maybe third by this point! Bryan and Jack slowly crawl over to each other, then go forehead to forehead. Then Jack fires a forearm! So Bryan gives it back! Jack fires another forearm, so Bryan fires another! The forearms keep going, even as both men rise up. The fans again chant, “YES! NO! YES! NO!” Jack ROCKS Bryan, SLAPS him, but that pisses Bryan off! The fans tell Jack he messed up, but Jack SLAPS him again! Bryan is just getting angrier! Jack looks worried, because Bryan is smiling! Bryan dares Jack to do that again.

Jack SLAPS Bryan again and again, but Bryan steps into the shots! Bryan fires SLAPS of his own! And KICK after KICK! But Jack SUPERKICKS! Bryan ROLLING ELBOWS! Jack falls, but Bryan hauls him up, to GERMAN SUPLEX! Jack lands out, runs up, but Bryan dodges! Bryan comes back, BUSAIKU KNEE!! Cover, TWO!?!? Jack survives and Bryan is surprised, then smiling! YES YES YES YES!” Bryan aims, Jack stirs, and the Yes Movement continues! Jack slowly rises, faces Bryan, and he dares Bryan to do it! Bryan BUSAIKU KNEES!! Cover, Bryan wins!

The irony of Luchasaurus and Jack Perry being in the ring together again. But we know what this is about, because here comes Christian Cage! Captain Charisma is also the Casino Gauntlet contract winner, and it looks like he’s cashing in! The fans boo, but wait! Jon Moxley stands in Christian’s way!? The Maniac is still BCC, and the fans are thunderous!

Bryan smiles, he knew he could count on his friend when he needed him. Oh, and then the rest of the BCC, and even Pac, are here! The fans cheer as The Patriarchy stands down now. Christian still has his guaranteed shot, he’ll just try again another night. The fans chant “YES! YES! YES!” and The BCC stands tall with Bryan. They hug it out and the fans cheer. Bryan picks up the world title, and The BCC raise his hands. But then Claudio UPPERCUTS Bryan! Bryan falls back, but he’s more shocked than anything! And then Moxley USES A BAG TO CHOKE BRYAN!? Pac keeps Yuta back?! Marina Shafir BLASTS the ref!!!

Moxley chokes Bryan out and Yuta is shouting for him to stop! Bryan rips at the plastic but he’s already so tired from fighting Jack! Pac isn’t letting Yuta go, even as Yuta is near to tears! The fans chant, “This is Murder!” Moxley lets Bryan go, having rendered him unconscious. Claudio tells Yuta to come along, but Yuta goes to Bryan’s side to get that bag off him. Medics get Bryan on the oxygen tank, but Moxley, Marina, Claudio & Pac leave. Bryan is carried out of the ring and to the back. What does this mean for The BCC? What does this mean for the AEW World Trios Champions when Yuta was not in on this betrayal?

 

Lights Out Steel Cage: Swerve Strickland VS Hangman Page!

Just when you think these two could not have stepped over the line after what they’d already done to each other, they have found new lows to which to stoop. And as such, AEW can no longer be held responsible for what takes place. Hangman set fire to Swerve’s childhood home, but will he now burn Swerve’s career to the ground? Or will Swerve’s House be avenged with Hangman’s blood, sweat and tears?

The introductions are made, the cage is being lowered, and this does not end with escape, only pinfall, submission or knockout! Swerve BOOTS Hangman before any bell, and the cage isn’t even done lowering! The fans fire up as Swerve hammers away on Hangman, then drags him out of the ring! Swerve RAMS Hangman into railing, then into steel steps! The ref wants this in the ring, so Swerve puts Hangman in. But then he holds him on the apron! Prince Nana throws a table into the ring! Swerve CHOKES Hangman, he wants him to face this blunt guillotine! But Hangman turns it around to CHOKE Swerve!

The fans are going nuts as both men realize they’re both in danger! Nana pushes them both in! He’d rather Hangman be safe if it means Swerve is safe, too! But he also got a lot of goodies in there, too. The bell rings, the haymakers fly, and the cage is secured. Swerve whips, Hangman reverses and then scoops! FALL AWAY SLAM! But Swerve kips up!? And he BOOTS Hangman down! “Whose House?” “SWERVE’S HOUSE!” Swerve storms up on Hangman, and whips him, only for Hangman to stop short! Hangman fires hands on Swerve, the fans duel, but Swerve ROCKS, CHPOS, body shots and more!

Swerve has Hangman in a corner, rains down fists, but Hangman brings Swerve out! Swerve slips free and he stops from being sent into cage! Swerve tries but Hangman blocks! Hangman elbows Swerve away, but Swerve somersaults to COMPLETE SHOT! The fans fire up and Swerve runs up, HOUSE CALL! Hangman flops under the ropes, and Swerve finally takes off his jacket. Nana says this is what Hangman gets for taking someone else’s property! Swerve moves things around, Nana says kill him! But Hangman fights the half nelson to ROLLING ELBOW! And GERMAN SUPLEX!

The fans rally, Swerve goes to a corner, and Hangman sees the crate Nana put in there. Hangman opens it up, and he pulls out a STAPLE GUN! Texas Deathmatch, Blood & Guts, and now All Out. Hangman CLIPS Swerve but Swerve just laughs! Swerve CHOKES Hangman, Hangman CLIPS Swerve again and again! Swerve SMACKS Hangman with the gun, to CLIP CLIP CLIP Hangman over and over! Nana cheers Swerve on, and he hits a BACKBREAKER! Hangman writhes, those staples are digging in more! Speaking of, Swerve pulls the staples in his skin out, not even flinching! The fans tell Swerve he’s sick, but he just smiles.

Swerve takes out pictures from under his belt! The pictures of Swerve’s parents and family. Nana says those are Swerve’s memories that Hangman took! Swerve STAPLES one to Hangman! Swerve mocks Hangman’s pain, laughs, and then tells Hangman this is just the beginning. Another picture, STAPLED to Hangman’s cheek! And a second staple for good measure! Swerve RIPS the picture away! The fans fire up while Swerve stalks Hangman to a corner. Nana taunts Hangman more, and Swerve goes up a corner. Swerve drags Hangman up to the top, but Hangman shoves Swerve down! Hangman adjusts, but Swerve grabs a chair!

Swerve JAMS Hangman with a chair first! Hangman is still up top, Swerve brings him into a fireman’s carry, and he THROWS him into the steel! Hangman writhes, the fans rally up, and Swerve kicks Hangman. Swerve digs his boots in, then lets off long past a five count. “Whose House?” “SWERVE’S HOUSE!” keeps going, and Swerve brings Hangman up. Hangman fires body shots but Swerve hits back! They brawl on that tightrope, and Swerve SMACKS Hangman off steel! But then Hangman trips Swerve up! Swerve crotches on the top rope, and Hangman triangle jump LARIATS! Swerve slumps against steel, and Hangman SMACKS him off it!

Hangman dribbles Swerve’s face off steel, then he fetches some barbed wire he snuck out here! Hangman puts it around his arm, and triangle jump BARBED WIRE LARIATS Swerve down! The fans are torn, much like Swerve’s skin with those barbs! Hangman puts the wire away for now, and pushes some of the other goodies aside, so that he can run and THROW Swerve into steel! Swerve sputters, Hangman mockingly asks, “That’s your champion? That’s your man!?” Hangman storms up on Swerve, then THROWS him into steel! Hangman continues to ask the fans how they cheer Swerve after what he’s done!

The fans do duel, and Hangman TOSSES Swerve into more steel! Hangman goes back to his barbed wire, and he laces it into the cage. Hangman goes over to Swerve, brings him up, and sends him at the wire! Swerve stops, comes back, and LARIATS! The fans fire up, both men rise, and Swerve runs up, but Hangman sends him into the wire! Swerve falls back, Hangman tells the ref to back off, but the ref says he needs to see if Swerve is conscious. Nana says back Hangman up, but Hangman kicks at Nana! Hangman sits Swerve up, and he punches away at bloody wounds! Hangman stalks Swerve, drags him up, and DIGS his face into the wire!

The fans are torn, but Hangman lets Swerve go. Hangman watches Swerve crawl, stomps him, then digs his boot in. Hangman lets off, and Swerve’s blood is painting the canvas. Hangman DIGS Swerve into the steel chain links, then he brings Swerve up again. Hangman whips Swerve, BOOTS him down, then soaks up cheers and jeers. Swerve sputters, Hangman loads up on the apron, but the cage won’t let him slingshot! The fans laugh at Hangman, so Hangman just storms in to get Swerve. Swerve ROCKS Hangman again and again! Swerve runs, ROCKS Hangman, then keeps moving! But Hangman FLAPJACKS him into steel!

The fans rally up while Nana grows worried. Nana wants the ref to make sure Swerve is alright. Hangman brings a chair over, and he JAMS Swerve with it! And he SMACKS Swerve with it! Swerve writhes, the fans are still torn, and Hangman tells the ref to let off the chair. The ref says Hangman doesn’t need the chair! Hangman gets in the ref’s face, Swerve hits a HOUSE CALL!! Swerve then uses the ref as a pommel horse, to steal BUCKSHOT!! Hangman and Swerve both fall, and the ref checks them both. Nana coaches Swerve up, and Swerve snarls. Swerve SMACKS Hangman with the chair! And SMACKS him again!

Swerve has a wild look in his eyes, and he winds up to SMACK Hangman again! Hangman collapses in a corner, but Swerve wedges the chair in another. Swerve goes back for Hangman, scoops him, and takes aim! LAWN DART into the chair!! The fans lose their minds from how blunt that impact was. Swerve covers, TWO!! Hangman survives and Swerve is beside himself. Swerve goes to the crate, and he brings out a CINDERBLOCK! Swerve used this to take down The Limitless One once, and now he sets this one down in front of The Cowboy. The fans are all growing a bit worried, but Swerve underhooks Hangman!

Hangman fights the lift! And Alabama Lifts! But Swerve fires body shots! Swerve turns things around, Inverted Gory Especial!! CINDERBLOCK VERTEBREAKER!! The block doesn’t break but maybe Hangman’s back just did! Swerve covers, TWO!?!?! Hangman survives, but the block left a nasty scrape on Hangman’s back. Swerve is disappointed in the block, so he brings in the table! Swerve sets the table up, then brings Hangman over. Swerve puts Hangman in the corner, fans chant “WE WANT FIRE!” Chicago is twisted, but Swerve goes out to climb the corner. Swerve aims, but Hangman hits him first!

Hangman hits Swerve some more, drags him down a bit, then climbs up after him. Hangman dribbles Swerve off the cage’s corner post, and then he scoops! Swerve fights with elbows! Swerve CLUBS Hangman down, throws down more fists, fans chant “PLEASE DON’T DIE!” Swerve KILL STOMPS through the table!!! The fans lose their minds again, and Swerve covers in the wreckage! TWO?!?!?! Nana cannot believe it! How much more does Hangman want to suffer? Swerve aims, and calls for “Whose House?” “SWERVE’S HOUSE!” HOUSE- DEADEYE!! Cover, TWO!!! Swerve survives and Hangman scowls.

The fans duel both of these dastardly anti-heroes, and Hangman goes to his jacket. Hangman mockingly asks, “Whose House?” Wait, that charred piece of wood… Is that a piece of the home he burned down?!? And he goes after Swerve with it! Swerve blocks being stabbed by the charcoal spike! Hangman powers Swerve down to the mat, but Swerve pulls him into an ARMBAR!! Hangman flails, kicks, and Swerve grabs the spike! Now Swerve tries to stab Hangman with it!! Hangman turns, has a stack, TWO!! Both men get up, and Hangman swings! Swerve gets around, to JAM the spike into Hangman’s head again and again!!

The fans tell Swerve he is sick, and Swerve sits there for a moment, looking at the charcoal spike. Swerve cries tears, but of anger! He goes after Hangman again, but Hangman LOW BLOWS first!! Hangman then brings Swerve around, lifts him up, and he CINDERBLOCK BOMBS Swerve!!! The block still does not break, but now maybe Swerve’s back just did! The fans lose their minds as Hangman pushes Swerve to a cover, TWO?!?!?!? HOW?!?! Nana himself is now pleading that maybe Swerve should’ve stayed down. Hangman paces around Swerve, he drags Swerve up, and it’s hard to know if fans say “This is Awesome!” or “This is F’d up!”

Hangman has Swerve against ropes, climbs up, and he punches away on Swerve’s bloody forehead. But then Swerve lifts Hangman! CAGE BOMB! Hangman scrapes down the steel, and Swerve reloads. HOUSE CALL against steel! Hangman flounders, Swerve reloads again. Nana says Swerve can take his time, he has this now! Swerve again asks, “Whose House?” “SWERVE’S HOUSE!” HOUSE CALL!!! Cover, TWO!?!?!?!?! It’s not even “How,” it’s WHY!?!? Why is Hangman still in this?! Is this his pride or his anger motivating him? Swerve goes up to the top rope, but then he looks up to the cage. So Swerve climbs up the cage!

The fans are going nuts already, but Hangman is after him first! Hangman CLUBS away on Swerve, drags him down a bit, and then gets under him! SUPER DUPER POWERBOMB!!!! Both men are down, but then they both rise up!?! The fans duel as hard as they can, and it is Hangman that stands! He Alabama Lifts, to DEADEYE!! Cover, TWO!?!?!?! Again, how and why!? Is Swerve just as motivated by his rage? Hangman paces around, and he grabs a chair. Hangman says he told Swerve that he would beg, so BEG! Hangman JAMS Swerve in the head!! Hangman tells Swerve to beg for mercy, but Nana says don’t!

Hangman JAMS Swerve again! Swerve laughs!? Hangman is furious, but the fans fire up! Swerve eggs Hangman on! Then he flops over…! Hangman drops his chair, sits Swerve up, and says time to embarrass him! Hangman takes Swerve’s grill away! Then he goes to the black bag, to bring out hypodermic needles!? What is Hangman doing?!? He stabs it through Swerve’s cheek!!!! The fans tell Hangman he is sickest of all, but Hangman has the chair. Swerve is like a zombie, HEADSHOT CHAIRSHOT!!!! The ref checks Swerve, he is OUT!! Hangman wins!

Winner: Hangman Page, by knockout

This went to dark places most people could never imagine, and it is Hangman who stands tall in the end. Hangman soaks up the cheers and jeers from Chicago, but is he finally done with Swerve? Will Swerve ever even be able to wrestle again? Wait, Hangman almost starts stepping back to the ring! But then whatever miniscule shred of mercy is left in him says no, leave it here. Hangman roars, having finally gotten past his past. But then the question is, what is next for The Cowboy?

My Thoughts:

This was an awesome All Out, though it’ll surely have a lot of debate over that Lights Out main event. Yes, they needed to escalate from their already brutal Texas Deathmatch, but I don’t think commentary even needed to sell their horror and disappointment at how violent this cage match got. For me, the staple gun was par for the course, and I was wondering if they’d bring the cinderblock back. That thing didn’t wanna sell for anyone, though, and there’s already word that it might’ve been a legit cinderblock, not a gimmicked one. If that is true, that is a deciding factor for me personally. Y’all can’t be doing stuff you know isn’t stunt safe. Before, it’s a question of whether anyone understood the physics of falling from something, but this is going into it knowing you’re gonna mess yourself up.

Moving away from that, Zero Hour was fun, but also a lot of filler. Acclaimed being thrown together with Iron Savages just to get a win, then a couple “Just for fun” trios matches. Team Texas of course beats The Premier Athletes, and that actually feels like a waste of the moment they gave us last night with Premier Athletes watching. Bang Bang Gang also just face a team to get a win back, and then I’m actually a little surprised The Kingdom won the big money. The amount has yet to be given, so maybe Tony Khan trolls The Kingdom by revealing it’s a bunk amount. But it mostly gives Roddy momentum going into his FTW Championship with Hook.

But something that was good story, that was “must see,” was Mariah May being mean to now Face Skye Blue. Skye is still recovering from her legit ankle injury, but Aminata is going to fight in her honor now. Mariah VS Aminata will be a very good story, very good match, but I feel like it’ll be another clear win for Mariah so she can strengthen her reign. Still hoping we get some interaction with Mina Shirakawa, that story needs to happen given Mina’s involvement in the Storm VS Mariah story.

MJF VS Garcia was a surprising choice for opener, but it turned out to be an awesome choice. They definitely leaned into each guy wanting to use a piledriver or related moves, to where it was Garcia’s obsession and is perhaps why he lost. MJF getting a quick pin win was a clever finish since it wasn’t violent or definitive, and I could just tell looking at Garcia after the bell rang that he’d go after MJF. In retrospect, that was setting the tone for other parts of the night. We got a great Chicago Street Fight from Willow VS Kris, and for them bringing out what they did, that still ends up second to the Lights Out Cage Match. Kris was of course winning since this wasn’t the title match anymore, but I do want Kris to come back for more, wanting that title match, and they still do it up big for the Dynamite Anniversary show.

Great International Championship match with Ospreay VS Pac, a real show stealer right here, and certainly a revisit to a part of Ospreay’s NJPW career that I used to call “RIP Ospreay’s Neck.” That had more Poison-Ranas than any match I can think of, and Ospreay still wins out. Also, great little bit with Ricochet where they taunt each other and of course plug that coming title match. Ricochet definitely needs matches for Dynamite and maybe even Collision to get him going again, and we can get Ospreay VS Ricochet in time for either the Dynamite Anniversary or WrestleDream. I feel like the PPV is better, it gives just a touch more time for them to build this. In fact, Ricochet winning a match on the anniversary show to earn his shot at WrestleDream would be good stuff.

Great Fatal 4 Way Continental Championship match, so much fun with all the combos, but it is as I said, Okada wins but not with Konosuke taking the loss, we can get Okada VS Konosuke in the next stretch. And that will be a lot of fun, too, as they can certainly play up the competitive history of NJPW and DDT-Pro. Okada was perhaps the biggest name in the biggest Japanese promotion, Konosuke was one of the biggest names in a company that overall is a lot goofier, but now Konosuke is showing the world what he can really do. Great match from Mone and Shida, but I figured Mone was retaining because of some other cheat. It wasn’t really Mone cheating, but she did get Shida to think about the kendo stick, and that conflict left her open.

And great stuff with The Elite and Blackpool Combat Club. Great tag title match from Bucks VS Claudio & Yuta, and just as I figured, Bucks retained. They needed their match to be here and now so all parts could rest before Bryan VS Jack. Bryan VS Jack was awesome stuff, Jack’s best singles match to date, and commentary was saying it for themselves, Jack became a more complete wrestler with his time away from AEW and in NJPW, like a reverse excursion or something. But as I was saying all week, Bryan was retaining because he’s not done yet, and Jack isn’t ready for a dual championship role.

However, what a really shocking series of events after. I should’ve known Christian Cage would attempt a cash-in, but a great move where BCC stands in his way. But then between Bryan’s big smile and all the stuff Moxley & Marina have been doing, there was a turn coming. I just didn’t think Claudio AND Pac would be onboard for it, while leaving Yuta out in the cold. I mean, I suppose Bryan needs one ally left if this remixed BCC is coming after him and the title, but wow. It’s a bit of a mess, though, since Pac, Claudio & Yuta are still Trios Champions together. And also, another controversial move using a plastic bag to “suffocate” Bryan, but wrestling historians probably recognized the Terry Funk VS Ric Flair reference. Still messed up, but this certainly implies Moxley VS Bryan going towards WrestleDream so that Bryan has an epic homecoming to Washington state.

The Jet called out The Scumbag for sneaking away with a win when they battled for the AEW World Championship, and wants to prove that this title is for truly the best wrestlers! But will Knight be #2Fly2Stop? Or will Maxwell Jacob Friedman look to put more gold on his resumé?

The introductions are made, and MJF makes sure Justin Roberts says, “He doesn’t hail from a white trash state like Virginia…” The belt is raised, and we see who is truly the Face of TNT!

The bell rings and the fans fire up already. The two step up, but MJF kicks low! MJF TOSSES Knight out, then hurries to THROW Knight into the steel steps! Then he whips Knight hard into the railing! Knight writhes, the fans boo, but MJF soaks up heat. MJF talks trash as he reels Knight in, lift shim up, and BARRIER BOMBS him! The fans boo but MJF takes the camera to film while he scuffs Knight. “He’s a nobody!” MJF puts Knight in the ring, tells fans to shut up, and he pushes Knight to a cover, ONE!! Knight toughs it out but MJF clamps on tight. The fans rally as Knight endures and fights around. Knight rises, fires body shots, then runs.

Knight ducks ‘n’ dodges to springboard and CROSSBODY! Knight keeps moving, ducks ‘n’ dodges more, but MJF ELBOWS Knight down! The fans boo but MJF drags Knight up again for a back suplex. Knight lands out, back suplexes, but MJF lands out! Another back suplex, but into the CUTTER! Cover, TWO! MJF argues with the ref but the count was fair. MJF huffs ‘n’ puffs as he storms over to Knight at the apron. The fans taunt him about his hair but MJF just frowns. MJF drags Knight up, but Knight HOTSHOTS MJF away! Knight hurries in, slides under, then hurdles over to SATELLITE DDT! Both men are down but the fans fire up!

The fans rally again as both men rise up. MJF stands first, storms up, but Knight counter punches! Knight fires haymakers, fires body shots, then has MJF on the ropes! The fans fire up as Knight fires off, but the ref backs Knight off! Knight storms back up, whips, but MJF reverses. Knight goes up and over, hurdles again, then DROPKICKS! The fans fire up as both men are back down! But then Knight kips up! Knight is feeling it, and he runs up to UFO SPLASH! Cover, TOW! MJF survives but Knight stays cool. Knight drags MJF around, then climbs the corner. The fans cheer as Knight aims, but MJF hurries out of the ring!

The fans boo but Knight hops down to PLANCHA! Down goes MJF and the fans fire up again! Knight puts MJF back in, but MJF hurries back out! The fans boo again, but Knight builds speed! Knight DIVES and down goes MJF yet again! The fans cheer as Knight gets MJF in the ring, but then MJF bails out another side. The fans boo but Knight shrugs and builds speed again. Knight FLIES and that’s three for three! The fans cheer as Knight stands tall on the desk! Knight then brings MJF back into the ring, but MJF says let’s make it four. MJF goes to the ramp side, but Knight says might as well complete the set!

Knight aims, springboards, and FLYING LARIATS MJF down at the ramp! All four sides belong to Knight and the fans are thunderous! Knight drags MJF up, puts him in the ring a fifth time, and now MJF is stuck in the drop zone. Knight is up top, but then MJF just goes to the far side. Knight runs up, MJF DUMPS Knight out, and then the HEAT- NO, Knight powers out! Knight springboards, MJF gets under, but Knight comes back and sunset flips! MJF flails to stay standing, but Knight brings him down to a cover! TWO and MJF sits on Knight, TWO as Knight sunset flips again! TWO and both men stand! SATELLITE denied into a CUTTER! Cover, TWO!

The fans cheer as both men are down again. Knight crawls away to a corner, MJF runs up, but Knight goes up and over. MJF ELBOWS Knight, goes up top, and calls his shot. But Knight BODY SHOTS first! Knight goes up to get MJF, but MJF resists. Knight CLUBS away on MJF, but MJF SHOVES Knight! Knight backflips, but he hobbles from the landing. MJF wobbles, Knight still goes to the UPPER ROOM! MJF is down but Knight clutches his knee. Knight fights through the pain to go to the apron. The fans rally behind Knight as he climbs again, MOTHERSHIP FLOP as MJF moves! MJF hobbles over to Knight, he grabs the leg!

MJF steps through, but Knight BOOTS him away! MJF hits buckles, Knight runs up, but Knight’s leg buckles! MJF SUPERKICKS Knight, then goes up for the LONG ISLAND SUNSRISE! Cover, TWO!! Knight survives the Sunrise and MJF is beside himself! The fans rally up again while both men are down, and Dynamite goes picture in picture.

Knight and MJF stir, Knight still clutching the bad leg. The ref checks him but Knight says he can still go. Knight goes to the ropes, hobbles around, but MJF runs up to KICK the leg out! Knight flounders but MJF stalks him. MJF KICKS the leg out again! Knight flounders against the ropes before falling down. MJF drags Knight to center, talks trash about the leg, then turns Knight over for the HALF CRAB! Dynamite returns to single picture as the fans rally and Knight endures! Knight powers up, crawls his way forward, but MJF drags him back to center! MJF sits deep, even CLUBS the leg, but Knight manages to turn over and BOOT MJF away!

The fans cheer as Knight hobbles up, but he still can’t run! MJF grins, then goes up the corner again, for the LONG- SUPERKICK! Knight suckers MJF in and hurries up the corner himself! The fans fire up for the MOTHERSHIP SPLASH!! But Knight can’t make the pin from how he landed so hard! Knight crawls his way back to cover, TWO!! MJF survives thanks to that delay, but the fans know, “This is Awesome!” Knight pounds the mat in frustration, then clutches his leg as he crawls over to the ropes. MJF is on the apron, Knight hobbles and runs up, but MJF blocks the kick! DRAGON SCREW in the ropes! MJF is foaming at the mouth!

MJF DDTS the foot again and again and again! MJF blows snot AND spits on Knight! The fans boo but MJF just snarls as he looms over Knight. MJF Alabama Lifts, and he ALABAMA SLAMS Knight down! Kneeling cover, TWO!! MJF covers again, TWO! Another cover, ONE!!! The fans fire up as Knight refuses to stay down! MJF is furious but the fans cheer Knight on! MJF storms outside, grabs the belt, then snarls as he goes back to the ring. The fans boo but the ref reprimands MJF. Th eref takes the belt, but duh! Dynamite Diamond Ring! But Knight LOW BLOWS MJF first!! Knight cradles, KNIGHT WINS!

Winner: Kevin Knight, by pinfall

MJF is absolutely shocked! He got outsmarted! He got beat at his own dirty game! But then MJF CHOP BLOCKS Knight! The sore loser then scares the ref off before he winds up with that diamond ring. But wait! DARBY ALLIN literally drops in from the ceiling! Darby unhooks himself from the harness, then storms into the ring to dragon sleeper MJF! SCORPION DEATH DROP!! Darby makes sure justice is served, and the fans cheer him on as he gets a mic. MJF also gets a mic, and MJF says, “You people suck! Darby, real typical. Two peas in a pod! Two low life cheaters getting along, huh?!”

But joke’s on you! MJF doesn’t care about Knight, this match doesn’t count, he was barely trying! The fans laugh given how MJF’s red, sweaty and gasping for air. But MJF says what he cares about is HIS Triple B, HIS AEW World Championship! The fans boo but MJF says shut up! MJF wants his rematch! Darby paces, but the fans already chant “NO! NO! NO!” Darby also says, “NO! I’m not giving you that rematch until you put something on the line! And if I survive tonight with Brody King, I think I know exactly who deserves a shot next week.” MJF says MJF, but Darby looks to The Jet. The fans cheer but MJF says don’t even think about it!

But Darby indeed says, it will be Kevin Knight! The fans cheer, but then BRODY KING shows up! The King of Death stares The Devil down, then moves past him to join Darby and Knight in the ring. Brody and Darby stare down, then Brody says, “I have some bad news for you, Darby, cuz you’re not gonna survive tonight! And Jet, I got even worse news for you. Next week, you’re not gonna be facing Darby Allin. You’re gonna be facing the NEW AEW World Champion! ROOF!” The fans cheer that, and Brody returns backstage. The main event is gonna be wild, but who carries the title into next Wednesday?

 

Backstage interview with Adam Copeland & Christian Cage.

Renee Paquette is with The Rated R Superstar and Captain Charisma, and notes that Cage has a fractured arm, how is he feeling? Cage says his arm feels fine, don’t worry about the arm. Then they also have to address FTR upping the ante on their New York Street Fight by making it part I Quit match. Do they accept? Cage says, “We accept!” Cope says that’s a bit quick given Cage’s history with I Quit matches in AEW. Just saying… Cage says if he’s told you once, he’s told you a thousand times, he never said those words! He didn’t! Cage storms off, Cope says he totally did. But neither of them will say it again. Will C&C be more than ready to make the Top Guys give up?

 

The Brawling Birds VS Emily Jaye & Jordan Blade!

Jamie Hayter may have missed a week, but she’s back to 100% and ready to pick up where she left off. But will she and Alex Windsor be able to bounce back from losing to Thekla back to back? Or will they get caught off guard by Lady Stunner & The Ankle Breaker?

The teams sort out and Jamie steps to Jordan. They circle as the fans rally, then Jamie blocks a kick to ROCK Jordan! Then she BLASTS Emily just because before she BOOTS Jordan! Jamie bumps Jordan off buckles, DOUBLE CHOPS, then tags Alex. Alex DOUBLE CHOPS, then she tags Jamie! Another DOUBLE CHOP, and then tag back to Alex for a DOUBLE CHOP! Jamie tags back in, The Birds wind up, but Emily runs in! The Birds DOUBLE ELBOW Emily before they DOUBLE DOUBLE CHOP Jordan! Jamie then hauls Jordan up to snap suplex! SLIDING LARIAT and then ground ‘n’ pound! Jamie brings Jordan up, Windsor joins in, DOUBLE HEADBUTTS!

Then they set up, The Birds DOUBLE LARIAT SANDWICH! Jordan sputters, right into TWO BIRDS ONE STONE! Cover, The Brawling Birds win!

Yep, it’s like Jamie wasn’t even out a week! But will they make sure to settle the score with The Triangle of Madness on the road to Double or Nothing?

Thekla says everybody says Thekla, why do you always call people “dumb b*tches?” Thekla would love to stop calling people dumb b*tches, but there are just too many dumb b*tches in AEW! Skye Blue adds that what happened on Collision to Persephone was entirely The Birds’ fault. But getting mist in the face was the best thing to ever happen to Skye, so maybe it opens Perse’s eyes, too. So what happened to Jamie & Alex? They’re supposed to be the big bad Brawling Birds, but they just can’t seem to handle a little ol’ Toxic Spider. Thekla’s advice is to stick with the tag team, because when it is 1v1, Thekla is everything, and they are nothing!

The AEW Women’s World Champion continues to be confident in her toxic dominance, but will someone come along and figure out how to wipe this spider out?

 

AEW International Championship: Kazuchika Okada w/ Don Callis VS Ace Austin w/ Juice Robinson!

While The Rainmaker wants his fight with The Alpha, Konosuke Takeshita, he still has a duty to defend this title. Will Okada prove what a real champion looks like? Or will The Inevitable make him Fold?

The introductions are made, the belt is raised, and we see who wins this gamble!

The bell rings and Callis admits, Ace has impressive quads. Too bad his hometown of Atlantic City is a dump. The fans tell off Callis even though he’s just on commentary, and the two tie up. Ace and Okada push each other back and forth, but Okada’s height becomes his leverage. Okada has Ace in a corner, but the ref counts. Okada lets off, then fakes the chop. Okada pats Ace on the shoulders, then stomps low! The fans are torn as Okada stomps a mudhole, but he backs off as the ref counts. Okada soaks up heat, then he ROCKS Ace with a forearm. Okada whips, Ace ducks and rolls to drop toehold and ENZIGIRI!

The fans cheer while Ace steps over to cradle, TWO! Ace DROPKICKS Okada down and the fans fire up! Ace KICKS Okada in the back, then CLUBS his arm. The fans rally as Ace lines up a shot and ROCKS Okada. Okada goes to a corner, Ace KICKS and CLUBS him. Ace whips Okada to ropes but Okada reverses, only for ace to fireman’s carry! Ace does squats to then DEATH VALLEY DRIVER! The fans fire up for “The Quad God” as he poses. Ace runs up, Okada dodges, and Okada comes back. Ace slips into the ropes and Okada hits buckles! Ace then slips back inside to FLYING CHUCK! Okada staggers while the fans fire up again!

Okada bails out, Ace takes aim, but Okada avoids the plancha! Ace avoids the leg sweep, and Okada is stunned to see the handstand! Okada applauds, that’s impressive even to him. But then Ace DROPKICKS Okada again, then PLANCHAS! Okada avoids the impact, kicks low, and DDTS to the floor! Ace writhes and Okada grins while the fans applaud. The ref checks Ace while Dynamite goes picture in picture.

Okada “apologizes” to the ref, then drags Ace up. Okada RAMS Ace into the railing! The ref reprimands, Okada rolls into the ring, but only to refresh the count. Okada then RAMS Ace into more railing! Ace drops to his knees, Okada offers a high-five, and a young fan returns it. The fans applaud that, then Okada offers one to Callis. They high-five, cheapening the moment. Okada puts Ace in the ring, Ace checks his head, but Okada brings him up. Okada bumps Ace hard off buckles! Okada slaps Ace around, then stands him up to whip hard into buckles again! Ace falls back, checking his mouth, but his mouthguard did its part to protect his teeth.

Okada stands Ace up but Ace fires a body shot! And a CHOP! Ace then lifts Okada, but Okada fights free to kick and DDT! Okada pushes Ace over to the cover, TWO! Ace is tougher than that but Okada brushes it off. Okada paces, sneaks a middle finger at the fans, then scuffs Ace. Okada kicks Ace around while Dynamite returns to single picture. Ace stands but Okada Alabama Lifts, tucks, and REVERSE NECKBREAKERS! The fans rally as Okada brings Ace up again. Okada scoops to SLAM Ace in the drop zone! Standard formula says Okada goes up, and he aims for the MACHO ELBOW! Direct hit, and Okada winds up… The Rainmaker Middle Finger!

Okada drags Ace up, wristlocks, but Ace fights the ripcord! They run around and tumble out of the ring! The fans rally up as Ace is on the apron. Okada stands, but he blocks Ace’s Penalty Kick! Okada THROWS Ace, Ace handstands again! Ace then handsprings over the sweep! PENALTY KICK! The fans fire up as Okada staggers around the way. Ace builds speed to FOSBURY FLOP! Ace just manages to clear the apron and the fans fire up for that! Ace gets Okada up and into the ring. Ace climbs, springboards, but Okada dodges! But then Ace fireman’s carries! Okada slips free, ROLLING- NO, Ace blocks to KNEE low!

Ace KICKS and RUSSIAN LEG SWEEPS! Then “CLICK CLICK!” BOOM DROP! The fans fire up for Ace as he runs corner to corner, forearm SMASH! Ace pushes Okada out, springboards, and FLYING LEG DROPS! Cover, TWO!! Okada survives and Ace is stunned! Ace takes out his ace card, and runs up for- A BOOT! Ace still reels Okada in, but Okada fights the suplex. Ace wrenches, Okada rolls Ace, TWO! Okada CLUBS Ace down! Okada drags Ace up, whips him to ropes, but Ace avoids the dropkick! Ace then lines up the shot again, THE- NO, Okada pops Ace up, but Ace sunset flips! TWO!! Okada rises, BOOTS, and Ace falls!

Okada lines up a shot, he runs up, but he blocks a boot. Okada flips Ace, Ace lands safe on the apron and ROCKS Okada! Ace steps in again, FLYING- DROPKICK! The anti-air hits hard, then Okada ripcords! RAIN- NO, Okada ducks it to backslide! TWO!! Callis freaks out at how close that was! Ace runs, but into the DROPKICK! Okada snarls, gut wrenches, and TOMBSTONES!! Okada roars because he’s not done! Okada ripcords for THE RAINMAKER!! Cover, Okada wins!

Winner: Kazuchika Okada, by pinfall (still AEW International Champion)

Ace was so close to the jackpot, but Okada isn’t one of the best ever for nothing! Mark Davis congratulates his Don Callis Family brother, while Callis himself SMOTHERS Ace for pushing Okada this far! Juice Robinson scares Callis off, but then wait! Konosuke Takeshita is here! The Alpha stares down Okada, and signals that he’s taking that title. Will Takeshita avenge himself for that Continental Classic controversy? Or will no one dry up the reign?

 

A country town is in chaos!

They’re all running away from the saloon as someone is putting the hurt on everybody. This man then picks up a wanted poster, the bounty for The Most Wanted, Bandido. And that man… is Swerve Strickland! Prince Nana hands Swerve his lighter, and Swerve burns the bounty. Is The Outlaw about to enter Swerve’s House, and never return?

 

The Death Riders speak.

While Marina Shafir grapples with Wheeler Yuta, Daniel Garcia says, “This is who we are, and this is how we train. While C&C want revenge on FTR so badly, they’re willing to stake their career as a team on it, this is to settle a different score! Will this tag team that reeks of awesomeness bring down Rocky Romero & Trent Beretta? Or will tonight belong to Azucar & #JustTrent?

The teams sort out and Cage starts against Rocky. The fans rally while Cage keeps that bad arm away from Rocky. They tie up, Rocky wrenches the bad arm, then wristlocks. Cage powers Rocky to a corner, the ref counts, but Cage backs off at 4. The fans cheer while Cage talks trash on FTR. Cage and Rocky reset, feel things out, but Rocky kicks low. Rocky wrenches, CLUBS, and CLUBS the bad arm. Rocky CLUBS away on the arm, then wrenches again. Cage KNEES low, then runs, but into a DROPKICK! Rocky slides for the soccer celebration, but Cage snatches him! REVERSE DDT! Cover, TWO!

Cage tags Cope and the fans cheer as they THROW Rocky into the corner again and again and again! Then BOOT LEG SWEEP COMBO! Cover, TWO! Rocky toughs it out, but Cope flips off FTR. Cope whips Rocky but Rocky KICKS back! Tag to Trent but Cope kicks and CLUBS Trent! Cope whips, Trent reverses, then Trent drops down to STANDING METEORA! Trent snarls, covers, TWO! Cope is tougher than that but Trent stalks Cope to a corner. Trent pie faces Cope, CHOPS him, then CHOPS again! Trent whips corner to corner, Cope reverses and Trent tumbles up, down, and into a BOOT! The fans cheer as Cope stands tall.

Cope drags Trent up, but Trent powers free! Cope drop toeholds Trent onto the ropes, tags Cage, and Cage stands on Trent to CHOKE him! The ref counts, Cage steps down, and he slingshots to the outside. Cope SPLASHES Trent before Cage UPPERCUTS him down! Cage then drags Trent out, THROWS him into barriers, and the fans cheer as Cage drags him up again. Cage ROCKS Trent, brings him around, and he SMACKS Rocky along the way! Cage puts Trent against the post, but Cash Wheeler shouts at him. Cage grabs Cash through the ropes, but Trent wrenches the bad arm, to SWING it into the POST!

The fans boo as FTRPG Vice are talking trash on C&C, but even Stokely talks trash from commentary. Wait, who is this standing up in the matching hoodies? It’s THE CONGLOMERATION! The fans cheer as Orange Cassidy, Kyle O’Reilly & Roderick Strong make their presence known, and Stokely senses it. Stoke turns around to see Conglomeration having snacks, and Stoke takes a swing!? Cassidy dodges that easily, and then SMACKS Stoke with the popcorn! FTR is furious, but they end up brawling with Conglomeration! RPG Vice mugs Christian while Conglomeration handles FTR & Stokely, off into the crowd!

The fans fire up as this brawl moves through the aisleway, and Cassidy is giving Stokely a noogie to his bald head! But Trent sets Cage up for Rocky’s FLYING KNEE! RPG Vice still has control while Dynamite goes picture in picture.

Rocky talks a lot more trash on Cage, but Cope scares him off! The ref reprimands everyone, and Cope backs off while Trent stands Cage up. Trent whips Cage hard into railing! Trent then tags Rocky, and Rocky digs his boot into Cage’s bad arm against the railing! Rocky puts Cage in the ring, stomps the bad arm again, then drags Cage around. Tag to Trent, they double wrench to double BODY BLOW! Then they run to JUMP KNEE and LARIAT! Cover, TWO! Cage toughs it out but Trent slaps him around. Trent drags Cage up, snapmares, and he clamps on a top wristlock! Cage endures, Cope coaches him, and the fans rally up.

Cage rises, fires body shots, then runs the ropes, but into a kick! Trent hits an ARMBAR DDT! Cover, TWO! Cage scrambles to ropes but Trent tags Rocky in. Rocky steps on Cage very much like Cage would, then steps off as the ref counts. Rocky argues with the ref and with Cope, letting Trent SMACK Cage in the distraction! Cope seethes but he can’t do anything while Rocky traps Cage’s arm for an ELBOW JAMMER! Rocky then double wristlocks the arm and puts on the pressure. Cage endures, fights back up, and Dynamite returns to single picture. The fans rally again as Cage wrenches out, but Rocky wrenches to headlock, only for Cage to hit a BIG back suplex!

Both men are down and the fans rally harder! Rocky crawls, hot tag to Trent! Trent BLASTS Cope, the fans boo, but Trent tags Rocky back in. Trent puts Cage on the ropes, Rocky DOUBLE STOMPS Cage down for Trent to SLIDING KNEE! Cover, but Cope breaks it! The fans cheer but Rocky keeps Cage from Cope. Cage fires a body shot, but Rocky KICKS the bad arm! And KICKS, and KICKS, then CHOPS! Rocky puts Cage up top, climbs up after him, and goes for the arm. Cage fires body shots, shoves Rocky back, but Rocky returns for a SUPER ARM-DRAG! Then the ARMBAR! Cage endures while the fans rally up again!

Cage fights around, reaches out, ROPEBREAK! The fans cheer while Rocky lets go in frustration. Tag to Trent and he storms up on Cage. Trent ROCKS Cage but Cage fires hands in return! Cage fights off RPG Vice, sneaks under Trent, but Rocky tags in! Rocky whips Cage to a corner, but Cage ELBOWS him away! Cage goes up, but Rocky grabs the arm! But Cage CLAWS Rocky’s face! Cage then TORNADO DDTS Rocky! The fans fire up while both men are down again! Cage and Rocky crawl, hot tags to Trent and Cope! The fans fire up as Cope BACKDROPS Trent! Then FLAPJACKS! Then he whips corner to corner, runs up, but into an ELBOW!

Trent has Cope, TORNADO- NO, Cope denies the DDT, then hits the IMPALER! Cover, but Rocky runs up! Cope moves, the ELBOW DROP hits Trent! The fans cheer, and Cope ROCKS Rocky! And CHOPS Trent! Cope runs, but into a DOUBLE JUMP KNEE! And then another DOUBLE JUMP KNEE! Trent Alabama Lifts Cope while Rocky climbs, but Cage SHOVES Rocky down! And a BOOT into the CODE RED! Cover, but Rocky breaks it! Cage has Rocky but Rocky CLAWS Cage’s face! Rocky runs, but Cage SMACKS him with the brace! Trent CLOBBERS Cage! But Cope SPEAR- NO, Trent leaps over! Roll-up, with feet on the ropes! The ref sees it in time!

The fans cheer as Trent is caught cheating! Trent argues with the ref, then pleads with him. But Cope runs up, only for Trent to BOOT him! Trent runs up, but Cope pops him up, for Cage’s SPEAR! Cover, C&C win!

Winners: Adam Copeland & Christian Cage, by pinfall

They may be less than 100% physically, but they’re still 100% mentally! As for emotionally, Cage grabs a chair and brings it into the ring. Given the role RPG Vice played in Cage’s arm injury, he SNAPS the crossbar of the chair off, and he hands it to Cope! Bent as it is, Cope uses it to GAG Trent! TORONTO SMILE!! Cage grabs a mic and he asks Trent, “Do you know what to say?! Say it!” Trent shouts, but the crossbar is kinda muddying it into “I qwimt!” They take the bar out and Cage asks again. Trent shouts, “I QUIT! I QUIT!” Cope lets Trent go and the fans cheer. Cage says, “I will never say ‘I quit,’ you little b*tch.”

Cope & Christian have their payback on RPG Vice, but now it will be a matter of getting their revenge on FTR. Will Cash & Dax prove they’re truly the best tag team of all time? Or will they have to admit defeat in the worst way possible?

 

Backstage interview with Chris Jericho.

Renee Paquette is with Y2J and brings up that this is twice now that Ricochet has defeated him with the “Ricosault.” Does Jericho think there is any validity that this Ricosault is an improvement on the Lionsault? Jericho says what he does think is that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. But he’s not really flattered right now, he’s more pissed off. But here’s the thing, Ricochet has obviously been following Jericho’s career very closely. But not close enough because if he was- THE DEMAND ATTACKS! Ricochet, Kaun & Liona beat Jericho down 3v1, then get him up to his knees. Ricochet asks if this is what Jericho wanted. Is this what Jericho thought this would be in his big return to AEW?!

No more jokes, no more games, no more subliminal messages! Ricochet told Jericho to leave or get hurt! Look at him! What do you gotta say?! Is this what you wanted?! Jericho says, “Eat s*it, bald!” Ricochet HAMMERS away on Jericho, then RIPS the shirt away! Then The Gates of Agony THROW Jericho into a road case! Ricochet says that’s what you get! Then Ricochet uses the case to backflip over Jericho, and says, “You’re not even worth it. AHA~!” The Demand leaves Jericho down and out, but will they be the ones to kick him out of AEW?

 

AEW Women’s World Tag Team Championships: The Divine Dominion VS Hikaru Shida & Kris Statlander!

Megan Bayne & Lena Kross have been a dominant team since Dynasty, and are perhaps the most dominant team of all time! But will they make these former AEW Women’s World Champions #BowDown? Or can #Shidalander truly become the Galaxy’s Greatest Duo?

The introductions are made, the belts are raised, and we see who has true power!

The teams sort out and Shida starts against Lena. The bell rings and Shida DROPKICKS Lena! Then she fires a shot on Megan, but Megan doesn’t move! Shida fires shots on Lena, on Megan, but then Lena KNEES low! Lena bumps Shida off buckles, RAMS into her again and again, but stops as the ref counts. Shida fires more shots on Lena, but Lena THROWS Shida away! The fans applaud, as does Megan, but Shida BOOTS Lena away! Shida runs up, but Lena RUNS her over! Lena soaks up cheers and jeers, then drags Shida up to bump her off buckles. Tag to Megan, Divine Dominion double whip, and they DOUBLE SHOULDER Shida down!

The fans are torn but Megan soaks it all up. Megan drags Shida up, back suplexes, but then counters Shida’s sunset flip into a FALL AWAY SLAM! Not the cleanest throw but an effective one. Megan “kicks rocks” at Shida, then runs up, but Shida slips around! Shida waistlocks, she RAMS Megan into a corner, then runs corner to corner to JUMP KNEE! Shida climbs up and the fans cheer, but Megan stops Shida before she even starts! Shida still throws hands, slips free, and kicks low. Shida runs, but Megan blocks the jump knee! SPINEBUSTER! Shida tumbles out while Megan seethes. Shida is frustrated but she storms back in!

Shida dodges Megan, CLAWS Megan’s face, then she grabs her kendo stick! But Kris grabs it, telling Shida to stop! They argue, but then Kris uses the stick to yank Shida out of the way! Megan POSTS herself instead of hitting Shida! Shida tags Kris, they have Megan in the ropes, and then Shida kicks Kris?! Oh, so she can snap suplex her into Megan! A unique attack, but Kris drags Megan up. Megan RAMS Kris into the Divine Dominion’s corner! Tag to Lena, they double whip Kris, but Kris ducks ‘n’ dodges to DOUBLE RAN- NO! The champs stop Kris to SLAM her down! Then they drag Kris up, bring her in, and DOUBLE SUPLEX! But Kris lands out!

Kris BOOTS Lena, DUMPS Megan, but Lena ROCKS Kris! Lena whips, Kris reverses and ELBOWS Lena, then PELES! Lena staggers, Kris gut wrenches and tucks, but Lena drops down! So Kris makes it a cross-legged cover, TWO! Kris ends up on ropes, Lena blocks the ref’s view, Megan hits a DRIVE-BY DROPKICK! Megan grins as she gets one in, then Lena Electric Chair Lifts Kris! Divine Dominion revels in the cheers and jeers, then Lena argues with the ref before she brings Kris up. Lena bumps Kris off buckles, tags Megan, and Megan stomps away in the corner. Megan stops as the ref counts, but that lets Lena CHOKE Kris! Megan drags Kris up, RAMS into her again and again, then CHOPS! Tag to Lena, and Megan BLASTS Shida for good measure! Then a SPLASH and BUTTERFLY PLEX for Kris before Lena adds a SLIDING LARIAT! Cover, TWO! Kris survives but she’s isolated with Shida down on the floor. Lena stomps Kris down, then stalks her to the ropes. Lena CHOKES Kris, the ref counts, but Lena steps back.

Kris flounders around but Lena drags her up. Kris fires body shots but Lena CLUBS her. Lena snapmares, runs, and SLIDING- NO, Kris turns that into a ghost pin! TWO, and Lena LARIATS Kris down! Lena snarls as she covers, TWO! Lena clamps onto Kris with a chinlock and grinds her down. Shida is back on the corner, and she rallies with the fans for Kris to get up. Lena tags Megan, and Megan runs up to BLAST Shida! Then Divine Dominion reel Kris in for a DOUBLE- NO, Kris fights the suplex! Kris fires CHOP after CHOP after CHOP on the champs! The fans fire up as she runs, then DOUBLE RANAS! The Divine Dominion tumbles around, Shida reaches out, but Megan drags Kris back! Kris fights the fisherman, but Megan BOOTS her! Kris rebounds to DISCUS LARIAT! Both women are down again and the fans fire up! Kris crawls, reaches out, but so does Megan. Hot tags to Lena and Shida! The fans fire up as Shida fires off on Lena! Lena ROCKS Shida, but Shida fires another flurry!

Lena ROCKS Shida again, then whips, but Shida reverses, only for Lena to block! Shida fires a flurry, Lena shoves her away, but Shida dodges! Shida goes up, up, and MISSILE DROPKICKS! The fans fire up for Shida and she runs the ropes, but Megan snatches her! Lena BOOTS Shida while the fans boo. Lena whips, Shida dodges to KNEE Megan down! Then she drop toeholds Lena into Megan! And then Shida DOUBLE SLIDING KICKS them down! The fans fire up as Shida hurries to the apron! Shida aims to DOUBLE MISSILE DROPKICK! Divine Dominion is down but Shida rises again! The fans chant “HOLY SHIDA!” as she brings Lena around.

Shida puts Lena in the ring, drags her up, and reels her in, but Lena fights the suplex! Lena suplexes, Shida slips free, but Lean HOOK KICKS! Kris tags in and fires off shots! Lena ducks a kick to ROCK Kris! Lena whips, Kris goes up, but Megan traps her! Lena YANKS Kris down, then tags Megan! Lena forearm SMASHES, then ELBOWS Kris! Lena runs side to side, and so does Megan! BOOT follows BOOT, then Megan GERMAN SUPLEXES! Cover, TWO!! Kris survives and the fans fire up! Megan drags Kris up, ROCKS her, then whips her. Kris reverses, Lena tags in, but Kris goes Matrix to avoid Megan’s flying lariat! Kris kips up, but into Lena’s SUPERKICK!

Shida runs up to ROUNDHOUSE Lena! SHOTGUN BOOT from Megan to Shida! Kris BLUE THUNDER BOMBS Megan! Then she ROUNDHOUSES Lena! The fans fire up as Divine Dominion is stacked on top of each other, and Kris climbs a corner! Kris aims to 450 SPLASH!! Two for one on the impact and Kris hurries to cover Lena, TWO?!? Kris is stunned but Lena is dazed. Kris hauls Lena up, but Shida tags herself in! Kris is upset but she SLAMS Lena down for Shida to METEORA! Then the FALCON ARROW!! Cover, TWO?!? Lena survives again and now Shida is shocked! Shida aims for the KATA- NO, Megan intercepts with a BELLY2BELLY!

But Kris SUPERKICKS Megan! Lena waistlocks Kris, Kris switches, but Lean switches back. Megan returns, BOOT GERMAN SUPLEX COMBO! Then they get Shida up, DIVINE INTERVENTION!! Cover, Divine Dominion wins!

Granted, Shida went a bit rogue changing things on Kris there, but it’s hard to deny that Megan & Lena have the stats to reign forever and ever! Will no one, no matter who they are or what they’ve done, ever dethrone Divine Dominion?

Here’s what you have done. You have ruined this company! Thanks to you, Darby Allin is on a reign of terror!” Andrade says okay, how you know? W-what? How does MJF know? Because Darby is world champion, that’s how! How you know? Because Don told MJF that Andrade lost his contender’s match! How you know? Because MJF saw it later with his own two eyes! Andrade again asks, “How you know?” Andrade smiles, and MJF says (sarcastically) that Andrade’s real funny.

MJF then shoves Andrade! Callis steps in and has them stop. Andrade is Callis’ money man. MJF is THE money man! Business is business. MJF doesn’t have a belt, there’s no reason for Andrade to fight MJF. And MJF, you need to get that belt back! They’re all better off when MJF is on top! So let’s just focus on business, guys. Okay? Just this once? MJF storms off one way, Andrade the other, and Callis says, “Wild horses, they’re gonna run. What’re you gonna do?” Callis follows Andrade, but will The Real Latino Man accept this truce with The Scumbag?

 

Rush VS Steven Fuerte!

From wild horses to El Toro Blanco, Rush has certainly been on a stampede since returning from injury. However, he is only getting hungrier and hungrier for gold around his waist. Will that stampede finally lead him to opportunities at Double or Nothing? Or will he have to make due with an appetizer?

The bell rings and Fuerte offers a handshake. Rush DECKS Fuerte instead! Fuerte tumbles out of the ring, Rush goes out after him, and Rush THROWS Fuerte into barriers! The fans fire up as Rush then THROWS Fuerte back into barriers, then stomps away! The ref counts but Rush fires body shots! Rush SMACKS Fuerte off the barriers, then snarls as he drags Fuerte back up. Rush puts Fuerte in the ring, watches him flounder to the corner, and he CHOPS! Fuertes falls, Rush puts him in the corner, then rains down forearms! The ref counts, especially as Rush stomps away! The ref backs Rush down, and Rush just pumps it up!

The fans chant for “RUSH! RUSH! RUSH!” Rush goes corner to corner, “You mess with the bull…! You get the horns!!”” BULL’S HORNS! Cover, Rush wins!

Rush made quick work of this one, then he grabs the mic to say cut his music, but in Espanol. Rush continues by saying that he is done with all these dogs! He is Rush, and remember! Backstage interview with The Opps.

Renee Paquette is now with Samoa Joe, Katsuyori Shibata, Hook, and newest member, Anthony Bowens. Renee says Joe is back, looked great back in action, but what is the game plan moving forward? Joe says, “Game plan… Maybe a declaration of intent. Well, it is simple. The Opps, we intend to reassert our dominance here in AEW. How do we plan to do that? I’ll tell you. We plan to do it with men like Katsuyori Shibata, fury made flesh, a man who is kind enough to put on a kick pad so he doesn’t cave in your head when he kicks your skull off.

“We’re gonna do that with men like Anthony Bowens, multiple time world tag team champion here in AEW. A man who has been undervalued, underappreciated, and most importantly, underestimated. And you will see the best version of him now in The Opps. Then we come to Hook, a man who intends to become the new King of Television when he captures the TNT Championship this weekend on Collision. But more importantly, our reign to the top, it includes strategic acquisition. And that brings me to you, Will Ospreay. Y’see, Will, I hope and I pray that you’re not suffering from Stockholm Syndrome.

“Because those boys in the Death Riders, they had you in the very same position that they saved you from not too long ago, and you know who came and took you out of that? We did, Will. We had your back. So you have to ask yourself, what kind of relationship do you want? Do you want one of convenience? Or one of confidence? Because The Opps are here, and the choice is yours.” That is quite the offer from the Samoan Submission Specialist. But will Ospreay change sides now that he’s already started down the road with the Death Riders? Or will he help The Opps get back on top?

Dynamite returns as #BigStoke informs us he just spoke with Tony Khan. Orange Cassidy, they have an “interesting proposition.” Next week, Dynamite Double Jeopardy! Cassidy goes 1v1 with Dax the Ax, and IF Cassidy wins, he and any member of The Conglomeration can challenge for the AEW World Tag Team Championships! But WHEN Dax wins, FTR gets the shot at the AEW World Trios Championships! And Stoke knows ol’ OC is begging for Stoke to get in the ring so they can be face to face, but guess what? That is not gonna happen. Stoke thinks they have a pretty good third partner, and it is the man who took Darby to his limit.

In steps Tommaso Ciampa! The Psycho Killer says last time he and FTR teamed up, if he remembers correctly, Ciampa shelfed Mark Briscoe indefinitely. This time, they take them trios titles. Ciampa picks the popcorn crumb from Stokely’s beard, and says, “Top Guys out.” Ciampa eats the crumb, then waves goodbye. Will these three truly be a dangerous combination? Or can Freshly Squeezed earn himself and… someone… another title opportunity?

 

BREAKING NEWS for Collision!

On top of Hook challenging The Jet for the TNT Championship, we will see The Death Riders & The Dogs team up again, but against the combination of The Rascalz & Top Flight! Another 10 Man Tag, but which side comes out on top? Then there’s more gold on the line in Peoria, Illinois, as “Jungle” Jack Perry defends the AEW National Championship against Mascara Dorada! Will the King of the Ropes add more gold to the collection? Or will Jack Perry continue to live his best Tarzan Life? Then the Bang Bang Gang hopes to rebound from Ace’s loss tonight as they go 2v2 with Daniel Garcia & Wheeler Yuta! Will Juice & Ace win big? Or will The Death Riders dominate the night?

And lastly, “Comeback Killer” Willow Nightingale put out the challenge last week and it has been answered! Anna Jay returns to action, and she challenges for the AEW TBS Championship! Will Anna truly be the Star of the Show? Or will the Babe with the Power overpower The Queenslayer?

The bell rings and the fans are fired up already. The rivals step up, shake hands, then back up, only for Darby to SHOTGUN Brody! Darby fires off fists, Brody shove him away, but Darby comes back with fists! Darby springboards, but into a CHOP! Darby is stinging but Brody clamps on a SLEEPER! Darby grab ropes, the ref counts, but then Brody SLAPS Darby’s hands down to GERMAN SUPLEX him away! Darby tumbles all the way to the corner, and Brody roars as he runs! CANNONBALL! Brody hauls Darby up, Canadian Racks, but Darby fights free! Darby goes to another corner, and he BOOTS Brody away!

Darby goes up but Brody CHOPS! Brody climbs, Darby CLUBS away, and Darby hops on for a SUPER CODE RED! Cover, TWO!! Brody survives and bails out while the fans fire up. Darby snarls, builds speed, and DIVES! But he just bounces off of Brody’s body?!? Even Darby has to smile about that, that was wild! Brody drags Darby up and CHOPS him! Darby staggers around the way but Brody follows. Brody brings Darby up, CHOPS him again, and he grabs a chair! The ref reprimands but Brody tells fans to move aside. Brody sits the chair up, makes Darby take a seat, and CHOPS him for good measure. Brody barks, fans join in, and Brody runs up!

But Darby trips Brody and Brody hits the chair! The fans rally as Darby hurries to take that chair for his own. Darby sets it up, brings Brody up, and Darby makes Brody take a seat. Darby fires forearms, CLAWS Brody’s back, then he climbs up the corner! The fans fire up because they know this means SUPER MISSILE DROPKICK! Direct hit on Brody but Darby also writhes from that landing! The fans are thunderous while Dynamite goes picture in picture.

The ref checks Darby but he insists he’s okay. Brody is okay to continue, as well, and both men slowly sit up. Darby hobbles and rolls into the ring, followed by Brody. They slowly stand, and Darby hobbles over to fire forearm after forearm! Brody DECKS Darby with just one! Brody leans on the ropes while he catches his breath, and Darby slowly sits back up. Brody brings Darby around to CHOP him back down! Darby sputters but Brody drags him back up. Brody ROCKS Darby, whips corner to corner hard, and Darby falls to the mat! Brody storms over to Darby, stands him up, and scoops for a SLAM! Cover, TWO!

Brody stays on Darby with another scoop and SLAM! Another cover, TWO! Darby toughs it out and Brody grows frustrated. Brody drags Darby up again, scoops and SLAMS again, then covers, TWO!! Darby continues to survive, and now Brody is oddly amused. Brody looms over Darby, but Darby fires shots at the legs. Brody CHOPS Darby down! Then SENTONS onto Darby! Darby sputters and clutches his leg, it was trapped under him when the senton hit! Brody shrugs, not his fault. Brody looms over Darby but Darby crawls away. Brody stalks Darby, brings him up, and Dynamite returns to single picture for the lift. Darby GUILLOTINE FACELOCKS to counter!

Brody puts Darby on the ropes, fires body shots, and then he CHOPS Darby down! Darby hits apron before he hits floor! The fans rally and bark while Brody argues with the ref. Brody goes out after Darby, drags him up, and CHOKE SLAMS him on the apron! Brody says this is what Darby wanted, so he clears the desk! The fans cheer, and Brody even puts the desk lid off to the side. Brody paces, and watching from the skybox, it’s Kevin Knight. The TNT Champion is facing one of these two next week, so naturally he wants to watch with his own eyes. But then Darby JUMPS on Brody’s back! Darby has a SLEEPER!

Darby squeezes tight, but Brody stays on his feet! Brody runs with Darby as a backpack, CANNOBNALL down through the desk hood!! Fairfax loses their minds as both men are down in the wreckage! We get a quick look backstage to see MJF is watching this, too. The ref checks and both men are able to continue. Brody is up first and he drags Darby around. Brody scoops but Darby fights free! Darby SHOVES Brody into the desk! That corner edge gets Brody right in the stomach! Darby hurries to finish clearing the desk, and he throws hands on Brody! And even SLAPS, SLAPS, SLAPS! Brody SLAPS back!

Darby sputters on the desk, and now Brody climbs up to join him! The fans go nuts as Brody reels Darby in. Darby fires body shots and shots on the legs, but Brody CHOPS Darby! SLEEPER!! Brody dangles Darby like he has before, but Darby CLAWS Brody’s eyes! Brody lets go, Darby hurries back up, CODE RED ON THE DESK! The desk does not break, but both men might be busted up from that landing! The fans lose their minds all the same while the ref checks both men. Darby is up and in the ring, sore as he is, but Brody rises. Darby shakes out the bad leg, builds speed, and he DIVES! Direct hit and they hit the desk again!

The fans fire up while both men are down! Darby sits up, then manages to hobble his way over. Brody follows, they roll into the ring, and Darby goes up the corner! But Brody trips Darby up, then CHOPS him into the Tree of Woe! Brody then sits Darby up, just so he can CHOP Darby again! Brody barks as he storms around, and then he runs up to CANNONBALL!! Darby sputters but Brody drags him up, just to short arm LARIAT him back down! Cover, TWO!! Darby survives and shocks Brody! Brody hauls Darby right up, runs, CLOTHESLINE FROM HELL!! Cover, TWO!!! Darby survives again and Brody is beside himself!

The fans are thunderous for Darby as he sits up in a daze. Brody shakes his head, unsure how Darby is still doing this. Brody YANKS Darby up, runs up, but Darby dodges the splash! Brody sputters from hitting buckles, and Darby CHOPS! And CHOPS! And CHOPS again! Darby HEADBUTTS Brody, but that just pisses Brody off! Brody THROWS Darby onto a cameraman!! The camera is fine but Darby writhes on the ground! Brody storms out after Darby, grabs him by the legs, but Darby claws at the floor mat! The mat is pulled up as Brody drags Darby along! The fans fire up as the camera seems to be along for the ride!

Darby kicks at Brody, kicks free, then hurries to his feet. Brody CHOPS Darby and Darby staggers away. The fans rally and bark, and Brody runs up for a CANNONBALL THROUGH RAILING!! But Darby narrowly avoids that human car wreck!! The fans go nuts as Darby hurries to finish pulling up floor mats! Darby has exposed a good portion of concrete, but he makes sure to roll into the ring to stop the count. Brody storms back up on Darby, but Darby BITES Brody’s hands! The ref reprimands but Brody ROCKS Darby! Brody reels Darby in, and he looks to the floor! The fans freak out but Darby fights the suplex!

Darby SLAPS Brody’s hands, then slides under! SUNSET BOMB on bare concrete!! The fans go nuts again, but Darby isn’t done! Darby climbs, aims, and SUPER COFFIN DROP!!! Direct hit, and a solid one at that! The ring count climbs again, and Darby rolls in at 4 of 10. Brody is down at 6, but he rises at 7! Brody stands at 9, and he lunges in at 9.9! Only for Darby to COFFIN DROP again!! Then COFFIN DROP again!! Cover, DARBY WINS!!

Winner: Darby Allin, by pinfall (still AEW World Championship)

This newest chapter might’ve been their greatest, if not CRAZIEST, one yet! And in the end, Darby’s relentless nature carries him through again! Knight nods, knowing exactly what to expect for next week. But will Knight make it through the Cold-Hearted Handsome Devil on Collision to then bring that TNT Championship to the dance? As for Brody, he and Darby shake hands as great rivals and friends. Darby makes sure to look at Knight up in the skybox, will Darby be able to survive his own reign going this hard week after week?

My Thoughts:

An awesome Dynamite that they really stacked with title matches. But at the same time, status quo kept and all in awesome ways. Honestly, part of me is surprised that Knight retained against MJF, because of the “Double or Nothing” idea of Darby VS MJF, title for title. But at the same time, maybe Darby is going to make MJF put up his ability to challenge for the world title, same as in MJF VS Hangman. Great win for Knight all the same, and he’ll have a very good match against Hook on Collision, and against Darby Allin next week. Darby VS Brody was an awesome main event, like PPV quality, holy crap, but great win for Darby.

MJF had a great promo with Callis & Andrade to further that feud and its slow burn. I would think that win, lose or draw with Darby, MJF will feud with Andrade for the summer. A great match for Ace Austin against Okada, but again, of course Okada won out so he and Takeshita will still have their title match. Great promo from Thekla & Skye to call out Brawling Birds, and Brawling Birds of course win their match tonight. I still wanna see that Triple Threat of Thekla VS Windsor VS Persephone with someone becoming a double champion, but it feels like it might be Thekla VS Windsor VS Hayter just so Thekla obviously gets away with a win.

Great women’s tag title match, #Shidalander getting their best showing yet, obviously. But given the story they’re building, of course Shidalander loses. Divine Dominion VS Brawling Birds definitely needs to happen for All In London, so all these other matches are just biding time on that. Rush continues to bide his time, but between the TNT Championship and the National Championship, Rush needs to get one of those to vindicate himself here in AEW. Great tag match from C&C VS RPG Vice, but also a great appearance by Conglomeration to go after FTR. They’re already building that story even before Double or Nothing, which is clunky, but I like the idea of the Double Jeopardy. Though, with that, FTR & Ciampa are definitely getting their match for the trios titles.

And great stuff in this story of Will Ospreay’s recovery. Great promo from Ospreay with the Death Riders, but then The Opps just jump in and want to recruit him now? That’s weird. I suppose there is still good continuity here, because Face Opps did fight against Heel Death Riders, and so the factions are double-turning and the feud is continuing. I am pretty sure Ospreay sticks to Death Riders in this, and there’s still so much missed opportunity not having Max Caster as part of Bowens’ story with The Opps. But hey, if it gives us Ospreay VS Shibata and Ospreay VS Joe through such a feud, who am I to question it?

Kyle O’Reilly says he loves this teamwork, this camaraderie, and hey, they’re in Portland for Playoff Palooza! Conglomeration, Collision, this is a good night to defend the trios titles for the first time ever! But then FTR steps in, and #BigStoke says Cash & Dax have something that’s actually important to say to Cope & Cage. Second, everyone backstage knows The Conglomeration is about to lose to the Don Callis Family, FTR’s close personal friends. See you later, losers.

FTR make their entrance, and the Veterans Memorial Coliseum isn’t exactly happy about it. Stokely leads the way into the ring and they get the mics. Cash starts off by saying, “Big Cope, we saw the challenge you laid out, very interesting. Very interesting indeed. So I know you probably think you’re gonna pull one over on us, that you’re gonna trick us into accepting this, but all you really had to do was bring something, anything to the table to entice us. And I gotta say, you saying that if you lose again to FTR, that you will no longer team? That sounds pretty enticing to me. So I’m not gonna drag this out. Challenge accepted!”

The fans cheer that, and Dax says of course Cope would say he deserves the rematch. But why? Because of some success they had 25 YEARS ago? Dax will lay a little cold, hard truth on Cope & Christian. Nobody wants them here! The fans boo that, but Dax says FTR doesn’t want them here! The locker room doesn’t want them here! As dumb as these fans are, they’re smart enough to know that they don’t want C&C here! No one associated with AEW wants C&C here! And now, give Dax a moment. Cope didn’t have to play his little mind games like challenging their man hoods. All they had to do was put their careers on the line.

The fans boo more, but Dax says the New York Street Fight sounds great to them, but let’s do it one better! If they’re gonna have this match with all this riding on the line… Dax wants there to be no more questions! No more debate! New York Street Fight, I QUIT STYLE! Dax wants C&C’s wives, daughters, dogs, and God Almighty to hear the one thing that is embarrassing to every man: Five letters, two words, “I QUIT!” And then after that, C&C, you can go on about your way, this here is done. Continue on with your nostalgia run while FTR goes on as the greatest tag team to EVER do this! Now the ball is in your court, Cope. #TopGuysOut.

The fans boo, but FTR saw the tag careers and raised them their dignity! Will Cope & Cage call that bet as we all go Double or Nothing? But as FTR takes their exit, The Conglomeration makes their entrance! FTR gets in their face, so The Conglomeration SHOVES them down! Will Cassidy, Roddy & Kyle show FTR what a real team looks like? Or will the Don Callis Family add more gold to the treasury?

AEW World Trios Championships: Orange Cassidy, Roderick Strong & Kyle O’Reilly VS Andrade El Idolo, Lance Archer & Hechicero!

The introductions are made, the belts are raised, and we see which eclectic combination is a winning combination!

The trios sort out and Kyle starts against the Alchemist of Lucha. The bell rings as Kyle and Hechi circle, feel things out, and tie up. Kyle slips around to wrench and wristlock, but Hechi powers through to headlock. Kyle slips out, drops down, tangles up the leg but Hechi makes it a cover! ONE, and Kyle drags Hechi down. Hechi slips through, but so does Kyle. Kyle goes to a headlock but Hechi makes it a facelock. Kyle wrenches, headlocks again, but Hechi powers up and fires body shots. Hechi powers out, then catches Kyle for the ROPE SLEEPER! The fans are torn but Conglomeration protests. The ref counts, Hechi lets go at 4.

Hechi blocks a kick, ROCKS Kyle, then DRAGON SLEEPERS the leg! Kyle hobbles away but Hechi KICKS him! Hechi gets the leg again, but Kyle wrenches through to an ELBOW BREAKER! Kyle BOOTS Hechi to the corner, tag to Roddy, and they KICK and CHOP on repeat! Tag to Cassidy, he pushes Hechi for Roddy to scoop. BACKBREAKER and… Cassidy hops down to ELBOW DROP! The fans cheer as Cassidy flexes. But then Hechi tags Archer! Murderhawk Monster tells Freshly Squeezed he done messed up. Cassidy takes his sunglasses off, nods, and he tags Roddy! The fans cheer as Roddy CHOPS and fires off!

Archer shoves Roddy, Roddy ducks ‘n’ dodges, but Archer CLOBBERS Roddy! The fans rally as Roddy dodges Archer, tags to Andrade and Cassidy! The fans cheer as Cassidy and “The Real Latino Man” stare down. Cassidy puts his hands up, but Andrade keeps them from the pockets. Andrade says hold on as he takes off the belt. But then Andrade wags his finger, they’re not getting the full Andrade. But Cassidy fires off “devastating” kicks! The fans fire up as Cassidy then YANKS the belt away! Andrade runs up, but Cassidy dodges to PANTS Andrade1 the fans fire up as Cassidy runs and SHOTGUNS Andrade down!

Cassidy kips up, the fans fire up, and Cassidy puts Andrade in a corner. Tag to Kyle, he climbs up, and Kyle rains down fists! The fans count along, and Kyle goes all the way to TEN! Kyle then tags Roddy, Roddy climbs up, and he rains down fists, and goes to TEN very quickly! Tag to Cassidy, he climbs up, and he rains down ONE! The fans cheer again and Cassidy winds it up. Andrade is outside, but he dodges Kyle! Archer CLOBBERS Kyle! Roddy runs, but Hechi trips him up! Cassidy BLATSS Andrade but Roddy is sent into the desk! Andrade returns to CLOBBER Cassidy, and then he flexes.

Andrade YANKS Cassidy’s shirt away as payback for the pants, but Collision goes picture in picture.

Andrade puts the Cassidy shirt on, then TOSSES Cassidy out! Andrade goes out after Cassidy, SMACKS him off barriers, then finds another lovely lady in the audience. She takes the Cassidy shirt off Andrade before she takes her selfie with him. Andrade makes sure to also get the selfie of Archer beating up Cassidy. Andrade puts Cassidy back in, Hechi POSTS Roddy, and Andrade covers Cassidy, TWO! Cassidy survives but Andrade stomps him down! Andrade drags Cassidy up by the ear, bumps him off buckles, then he tags Hechi. Hechi hammerlocks and swings Cassidy for the MAD SCIENTIST BOMB! Cover, TWO!

Hechi argues the count but the ref says it was fair. Hechi clamps onto Cassidy with another hammerlock and he brings Cassidy over. Tag to Andrade and they mug Cassidy. Hechi kicks Cassidy down, Archer stomps Cassidy, too, all while Andrade taunts Roddy. The ref has to keep Roddy back, but that lets Archer CHOKE Cassidy! Hechi gets another shot in while Playoff Palooza returns to single picture. Andrade whisp Cassidy into the corner, tags Hechi, and Hechi fires fast hands. Hechi ROCKS Cassidy, Andrade runs up, but Cassidy BOOTS him! And BOOTS Hechi! Cassidy goes up, fires elbows on Archer, then hits a DOUBLE RANA on Andrade y Hechi!

The fans rally but Archer is right in! Archer drags Cassidy back, wags his fingers at The Conglomeration, but Cassidy DUMPS Archer out! Hot tag to Kyle! Kyle BOOTS Hechi, goes up, and FLYING KNEES! Then a BOOT for Andrade, followed by a ROUNDHOUSE, KICK, and a strike fest! Leg sweep and Kyle circles Andrade. Hechi DROPKICKS Kyle! Hechi whips, Roddy tags, and Kyle slips around. Hechi and Kyle switch back and forth, but Kyle ELBOWS Hechi down. Roddy jumps in, he and Kyle run, forearm for Andrade and knee for HEchi! Then they trade! Roddy then weaponizes Cassidy, and he THRWOS him into Andrade!

Roddy whisp Cassidy into Hechi, then scoops to RAM him into Andrade! But Archer grabs them both! But Kyle KICKS away on Archer’s leg! Then Roddy puts Cassidy on Archer’s shoulder, Kyle gives it a push start, TORNADO DDT on Archer! Archer tumbles away, Roddy stomps him, but Hechi BOOTS Roddy! Roddy kicks and CHOPS in return! Roddy whips Hechi but Hechi reverses. Hechi runs up, but into the BOOT! Roddy clinches, Kyle KICKS Hechi, and Roddy hits the ANGLE SLAM! Cover, TWO! Hechi survives but the fans rally as Roddy tags Kyle. Kyle & Roddy double whip, but Andrade sneaks the tag!

Hechi slips around Kyle to shove him into Roddy! Andrade rushes Roddy for a LARIAT, Hechi LARIATS Kyle! They sit Kyle down, Hechi JUMP KNEES Roddy! Andrade soaks up the cheers before he gives Kyle CIEN KNEES! Cover, TWO! Kyle survives but Andrade is amused. Andrade brings Kyle up, around, and snap suplexes! That’s Uno Amigo, and Andrade snap suplexes for Dos! And then some Latino Heat, and THREE- NO, Kyle knees free! Kyle dodges, hot tag to Cassidy! Cassidy runs to tilt-o-whirl, but Andrade stops the DDT! But then Cassidy cradle counters, TWO! Andrade brings Cassidy up, but Cassidy STUN-DOG MILLIONAIRES!

The fans rally as both men crawl, but Andrade hot tags Archer! CROSSBODY on Cassidy! Dragon sleeper on Roddy, guzel on Kyle, CHOKE SLAM DDT COMBO! The fans rally as Archer whips Cassidy, scoops him, but Cassidy slips free of the crucifix! Cassidy ducks ‘n’ dodges, but runs into the HELLICOASTER! Cover, but Roddy & Kyle break it! Andrade y Hechi rush in, but Roddy & Kyle send them back out! Roddy WERCKS Andrade with a dropkick! Kyle storms in, Roddy joins him, but Archer guzels them both! But Cassidy guzels Archer! The fans cheer but Archer just SHOVES Roddy & Kyle away to guzel Cassidy! CHOKE- ORANGE PUNCH!

Roddy & Kyle ROLLING ELBOW JUMP KNEE! Then ORANGE PUNCH! TOTAL ANNIHILATION!! Cover off the high-low, Conglomeration wins!

Winners: The Conglomeration, by pinfall (still AEW World Trios Champions)

It was a powerful fight for the champs, but they’re still the champs! And then they wind up to high-five! You GOT to give the people what they want! But will Cassidy, Kyle & Roddy stay on top as the stars of the trios division? Or will someone come along and completely flip the script?

The Death Riders are still carrying a semi-conscious Ospreay, as we saw them do after the medical/referee stoppage against Mark Davis. They place Ospreay in a chair, and Moxley takes a seat across from him. Yuta splashes water on Ospreay to wake him up, and Marina puts a towel around him. She wraps it around, gives it some strong tugs, and then a neck massage? Moxley says she’s good, huh? Then he asks Ospreay, “What is it you’re trying to accomplish?” Breaking Moxley’s neck? Breaking his own neck? When Ospreay goes to the ring, when he gets up in the morning, where is Ospreay trying to go? Who is Ospreay trying to be? What is it Ospreay is chasing?

Moxley doesn’t think Ospreay even knows the answers to those questions anymore. It was almost seven years ago that Moxley saw Ospreay for the first time. The power Ospreay wields and the ability Ospreay has… Mind, flesh, blood, muscle, bone. It will all break eventually. You try to run through a brick wall as much as you want, the wall doesn’t go anywhere. But if you step back and realize there is a door, you can walk right through it and become whoever you want on the other side. This, the mind, can be trained, honed properly, so that it will not break. You take dominion over your mind, and you can become a weapon like pro-wrestling has never seen.

But this thing between them has to come to a head one way or another. So they can settle up. Moxley puts a steel chair between them. Ospreay can be just like everyone else. Or, he can become everything he was meant to be. Moxley kisses the ground as he lies down, and he says it is Ospreay’s choice. Ospreay picks up the chair, looks it over, and looks as the Death Riders step back. Ospreay has the cameraman leave, but why? Does Ospreay go through with the easy route of taking Moxley out? Or does he accept The Maniac’s offer and see how far down the rabbit hole he can go?

 

10 Man Tag: The Young Bucks & The Rascalz VS Claudio Castagnoli, Wheeler Yuta, Daniel Garcia, David Finlay & Clark Connors!

Well, Moxley and Marina are here, so Ospreay didn’t crush Moxley with the chair. The Maniac joins commentary as his solders, as well as their associates in The Dogs, are about to wage war with two teams that stand in their way of glory. But will the Death Riders & Dogs run roughshod through Matt, Nick, Dez, Zach & Myron? Or are we about to have the most lit Superkick Party ever?

The teams sort out and Dez starts against Yuta. The fans rally as the two circle, talk some trash, but then The Dogs attack! The fans boo but they and the Death Riders all beat up on Bucks & Rascalz! Garcia goes after Nick while Finlay TOSSES Matt. Claudio traps Dez, Yuta sends Finlay in for an UPPERCUT! Yuta ELBOWS, Garcia LARIATS, Connors RAMS, and Claudio UPPERCUTS! Playoff Palooza returns and Priest has turned things around on Rush! Priest puts Rush in the ring, climbs up a corner, and DIVING LEG DROPS! Cover, TWO! Rush survives the “Alabama Jama” and the fans rally up. Rush goes to ropes but Priest storms over to him. Priest UPPERCUTS, CHOPS, but needs to catch his breath. Priest runs, but Rush dodges to SNAP GERMAN! And KNEE STRIKE! Priest tumbles out, Rush pursues, and Rush whips Priest hard into barriers! The fans rally as Rush stalks Priest, SMACKS him off the commentary desk, then THROWS him into railing! Rush hauls Priest up, and THROWS him into more railing!

Rush stomps away on Priest but the ref counts. Rush pushes the ref aside to keep stomping! The ref reprimands, Rush argues with him, and Rush drags Priest up to put him in the ring. Rush puts Priest in the corner, stomps a mudhole in, then fires fists! Rush again tells the ref to back off. Rush pumps his fist and the fans chant along, “RUSH! RUSH! Clon DROPKICKS Jack out of the apron skirt, then refreshes the count. Clon drags Jack up, SMACKS him off the steps, then climbs up to stand on Jack’s head! The ref counts, Clon taunts Jack, then Clon steps into the ring. Clon rolls back out to refresh the count, and he whips, only for Jack to reverse! Clon hits POST, then Jack uses the post to swing and KICK Clon! Clon ends up in the ring, Jack goes up the corner, MISSILE DROPKICK! Then Jack LARIATS in a corner! Jack still tries, but Clon drags him away! Jack clubs at Clon’s legs but Clon lets go so he can stomp Jack down! Jack CHOPS, Clon KICKS, repeat! Clon then BASEMENT DDTS Jack down! Clon stalks Jack to ropes, then traps him in a modified COBRA TWIST! Clon fishhooks Jack’s mouth and the ref reprimands.

Clon lets go, then shifts into a proper Cobra Twist. Jack endures, Clon shifts to make it part dragon sleeper! Jack endures, reaches out, ROPEBREAK! Clon lets go to stomp Jack down! Clon drags Jack back up, brings him around, and whips him to a corner while Collision goes to break.

Playoff Palooza returns as both men are down. A standing count climbs, but Jack rises up. Jack smacks his leg into working, and the fans rally behind him. Clon then hooks Jack up, pops him up, but Jack makes it a DESTROYER! Cover, TWO!! Clon survives again and Jack is beside himself! Jack goes to a corner, takes aim, and he says time to make a sacrifice! But Clon blocks that knee! Then he trips Jack, KICKS and HEEL KICKS, then a lift and POWER KNEE STRIKE!! Cover, TWO!! Jack survives whatever you wanna call that combination, but Clon vows to end this! Clon copies Jack, “SACRIFICE!” But Jack dodges Clon to send him to a corner! Clon goes up and over, MATRIX PELE! Clon then reels Jack back in, POWER- RANA!! Cover, TWO!! Jack handsprings through, comes back, but into a LUMBAR CHECK!

Clon hooks Jack up, MADE IN CYBERSPACE!! Cover, TWO?!? Jack survives the half nelson package piledriver and Clon is stunned! Clon drags Jack to the drop zone, then goes to the ropes! CLONSAULT but onto knees! Jack runs in, goes up and over, GERMAN SUPLEX! Then the GLASS JAW BREAKER KNEE!! Cover, Jack wins!

Winner: “Jungle” Jack Perry, by pinfall (still AEW National Champion)

The gamble did not come back to bite Jack, and he’s still a champion! But will Tarzan Life continue on as we head for Double or Nothing?

Rush got a tough fought victory tonight against Adam Priest, and he looks to keep momentum going on Wednesday! Who else will get the horns? Then, with the challenge issued and accepted, we will get The Divine Dominion VS #Shidalander for the AEW Women’s World Championships! Will Megan & Lena continue to dominate? Or will Shida prove she can be trusted when she and Stat take the titles?

The Opps walk ‘n’ talk backstage.

Samoa Joe is happy to see “Speak ‘n’ Spell” Shibata again, and he asks what Hook’s been up to. Hook says he’s been holding it down, recruiting for them, that kinda stuff. Aight, cool. Speaking of which, Anthony Bowens steps in and says they’re just the people he was looking for. Bowens welcomes Joe back, and reminds Hook that he said he’d have an answer by “next week.” Turns out, that’s tonight. Bowens is getting tired of waiting, he needs an answer. Is he in The Opps or not? Hook says Bowens needs to take a step back. There is one problem: No more vacancies! Joe asks Bowens, “Do you hear him? Was he clear enough for you? There’s no more vacancies in The Opps.

“Because it sounds like we found our newest one.” Bowens smiles as he and Joe shake hands on it. Hook seems a bit surprised, but he says Bowens passed the test. Welcome to the crew. Bowens smiles, will The 5 Tool Player be just the thing The Opps need to rise back up in AEW?

 

Six Man Tag: Chris Jericho & The Hurt Syndicate w/ MVP VS The Demand!

The Ayatollah of Rock ‘n’ Rolla returned “home” to AEW, only for Ricochet, Toa Liona & Bishop Kaun to rain on his parade. And after ruining his return to PPV, bald, Ricochet had the audacity to say losing to him was Jericho’s new gimmick. But Ricochet made quite the miscalculation saying no one wanted to team with Jericho to face them. The Demo God called upon the All Mighty & The Standard of Excellence not because they like each other, but because they all despise The Demand! So now, will Jericho & The Hurt Syndicate put the hurt on Bald, Dumb & Ugly? Or will The Demand find a way to add Lashley & Shelton to their list?

The trios sort out and MVP joins commentary while Jericho keeps the fans fired up. Jericho steps up to start against Ricochet, they circle, but then Ricochet tags Kaun. Kaun tags Liona, and they threaten Jericho 3v1. But duh, Lashley & Shelton step in! The fans cheer as these six stare down, and Jericho gets the fans even hotter! Then the brawl is on! The fans cheer as Jericho goes after Ricochet, Lashley throat chops Liona, and Shelton fires off on Kaun! Jericho CHOPS Ricochet, Ricochet fires hands, and Kaun fires shots on Shelton! Shelton just frowns, then ROCKS Kaun! Jericho CLUBS Ricochet but Ricochet CHOPS back!

Ricochet runs up but Jericho TOSSES him out! Shelton ROCKS Kaun, Kaun kicks low, Jericho WRECKS Ricochet with a dropkick! The fans cheer as Shelton STEP-UP KNEES Liona! Lashley RAMS Kaun! Then NECKBREAKER! Lashley LARIATS Kaun up and out, and the fans fire up as Shelton dodges Liona! Shelton comes back to SATELLITE DDT! Liona tumbles out and the fans cheer again. Jericho joins Lashley & Shelton in the ring, then Jericho climbs up! Jericho aims, shrugs, and SUPER CROSSBODIES! Down goes The Demand and the fans fire up again! Jericho is loving it, and so is The Hurt Syndicate, as Collision goes picture in picture.

Jericho stands with Shelton & Lashley, hands raised as if they’ve won already. Ricochet sputters while Jericho keeps the fans chanting. Jericho goes out to line up another shot, and he AX- NO, Liona catches him and POSTS him! Jericho hobbles, Liona runs up on him, and LARIATS him down! Liona storms around, drags Jericho up, and Liona whips Jericho hard into railing! Kaun and Liona high-five and throw up the three for Demand. The ref reprimands but The Demand regroups. Liona tags Ricochet, Ricochet SMACKS Jericho off the apron, then shoves him in the ring. Ricochet AX HANDLES Jericho down, then clamps on a Ground Cobra Twist!

Jericho endures, Ricochet CLUBS him down, then Ricochet THROWS Jericho by his hair! The ref reprimands but Ricochet tags Kaun. The Demand mugs Jericho, Kaun CHOSP him, then Kaun RAMS Jericho int he corner again and again! The ref counts, Kaun tags Ricochet back in, and they continue to mug Jericho. Ricochet clamps on the Ground Cobra Twist again but Jericho endures. Playoff Palooza returns to single picture as the fans rally. Jericho fights up, fires body shots, then CHOPS! And CHOPS! And CHOPS again! Jericho reaches for his corner but Ricochet CLUBS him in the back! Ricochet runs, but Jericho BACKDROPS him!

The fans fire up while both men are down! Ricochet hot tags Kaun, and Kaun blocks Jericho’s path! Jericho reaches out but Hurt Syndicate are just too far away! Jericho endures the bearhug to BELL CLAP! Kaun swings, Jericho dodges, hot tag to Lashley! The fans fire up as Lashley CLOBBERS Kaun, BLASTS Liona, and TOSSES Ricochet! Lashley RUNS Kaun over again, RAMS Ricochet, then RAMS Kaun! And then back to Ricochet! Then MILE HIGH FLATLINER! Then a kick and gut wrench for Kaun! DOMINATOR! Cover, Liona breaks it! The fans boo but Liona drags Lashley up. Liona CLUBS Lashley, whips him, but Lashey reverses!

Lashley LARIATS Liona up and out, then tags Shelton! Shelton waits on Kaun, then slips around to GERMAN SUPLEX! The fans fire up as Shelton GERMAN SUPLEXES again! Then STEP-UP KNEE for Liona! Kaun runs up, Shelton slips around again, GERMAN SUPLEX! Ricochet leaps in, but Shelton gets him for a GERMAN SUPLEX! The fans fire up as Rip City is now Suplex City! Shelton tags Jericho, Jericho winds up, and he trips Ricochet! Ricochet fights the turnover, Liona runs up, but Jericho dodge! Jericho kicks a shin, then trips Liona! But Ricochet POSTS Jericho first! The fans boo but Lashley TOSSES Ricochet!

Lashley RAMS Ricochet, then runs again, but Liona trips him up! Liona drags Lashley out, fireman’s carries, SAMOAN DROP! Ricochet goes up, Jericho SHORYUKENS! And CHOPS! Jericho goes up, up, and rains down fists! The fans count along as Jericho gives Ricochet nine, then TEN before the SUPER STEINER! Ricochet flounders, the fans fire up, but Kaun is up! HAYMAKER! The fans boo but Kaun goes to a corner. Kaun climbs, but Shelton spings up to get him! SUPER ARM-DRAG! The fans fire up as Lashley and Liona meet! Lashley trips but he still SPEARS Liona! CODE BREAKER on Ricochet! Jericho covers, TWO!

Ricochet survives but the fans chant for Jericho! Jericho waits on Ricochet, but Ricochet slips through to backslide! TWO, and Ricochet JUMP KNEES! Shelton is in, he FLAPJACKS Ricochet! Kaun SHOTGUNS Shelton! Lashley SPEARS Kaun! Liona POUNCES Lashley! Liona grins and he runs up on Jericho, but Jericho dodge! Liona tumbles up and out! Jericho dodges Ricochet to waistlock, Ricochet switches, but Jericho victory rolls, to then have the legs! Ricochet fights the turn, but still ends up in the WALLS OF JERICHO!! The fans are thunderous, but Kaun storms in! The ref stops Kaun, and that lets Liona drag Ricochet to safety!

Lashley CLOBBERS Liona and THROWS him into railing! Shelton does the same to Kaun! But Ricochet LOW BLOWS Jericho!! The fans boo but Ricochet pushes Jericho down, and hits the “RICOSAULT!” Cover, Demand wins!!

Winners: The Demand, by pinfall

MVP is as upset as anyone, The Demand used misdirection to steal another victory! But is Ricochet right? Is Jericho just the guy who gets beat up by The Demand every week he shows up? Or can Jericho turn things around before it gets any worse?

My Thoughts:

A very good episode for Collision, and I almost thought Playoff Palooza was gonna be delayed because of, well, playoffs. But anyway, great opening promo, much better than their usual “cold opens.” It certainly teased something for FTR VS Conglomeration, but there’s still FTR VS C&C to settle. And it fits the nature of “Double or Nothing” to raise the stakes on the title match. The Street Fight nature was already No Disqualification, and an I Quit match was already No Disqualification, so putting them together is both logical and not. But I suppose having New York themed items handy to beat each other with until someone verbally gives up is still a great combination. I would think C&C wins, though, so that they don’t have to break up.

As for Conglomeration VS Don Callis Family on the Don Callis Family’s fourth trios title match, great stuff, though maybe a little clunky at parts. Great win for Conglomeration, but who knows who they get for Double or Nothing. Great promo from Moxley and Ospreay, and Ospreay not crushing Moxley was clearly the right move for building some intrigue. Ospreay might not join Moxley & The Death Riders, but being trained by them would make for some good story. Feels like AEW is taking inspiration from DC Comics given their partnership, this is very much Slade Wilson training Dick Grayson to go from Robin into Nightwing.

Great little promo of Harley & Mina confronting Shida with Kris in the room. Shida is doing great playing this passive aggressive Face, especially with how enthusiastic she is for Kris. Great showing for B3CCA against Kris, but Kris was of course still winning. We’re definitely getting a tag match of #Shidalander VS Mina & Harley, and that can be when Shida turns on Kris. Rush VS Adam Priest was way better than it needed to be, but that’s good for Priest. Though, now it makes me wonder what Rush is even doing. What is LFI as a whole even doing? That group has felt either neglected or just cursed ever since they started in AEW, Tony Khan needs someone to help book this stuff.

Great tag match from Windsor & Persephone VS Thekla & Skye, but duh, of course Julia Hart would affect that ending. I’m still thinking we see a Triple Threat of the three women’s championships, but maybe we see Skye or Julia go after Perse’s title just so Perse can successfully defend the CMLL Women’s title on an AEW PPV. I’d rather have the Triple Threat to really make things interesting. Great National title match and another great showing for CLØN, but I figured Jack Perry would win. Between his reign just starting and Clon kinda being on standby until Hologram returns, this was an obvious outcome.

Good promos from Takeshita and Okada to call each other out, but they’re already pretty high in heat. The only thing that could add more is a brawl. Very good promo from The Opps for them to accept Bowens, but like, shouldn’t this have been aired during Dynamite? Joe was still in his gear! And very good main event Six Man Tag, though there was that moment when Lashley stumbled that was worrying, almost thought he hurt his leg. In the end, Demand of course wins by bending the rules like always. To me, this story is already the flipside of the usual “Jericho Vortex.” When Jericho was a Heel, he was always getting the better of his Face rival, and the Face would ultimately win in the end. With Jericho as a Face, he really is going to be losing again and again until we reach the blowoff/
