Finn Balor speaks.

NXT and Rhea Ripley visit Raymond James Stadium ahead of WrestleMania 36.
Home of the NFL’s Tampa Bay Buccaneers and now the XFL’s Tampa Bay Vipers, this stadium will also be where the NXT Women’s Championship makes history by joining the WrestleMania card. The Aussie Nightmare feels honored to be part of such history. She takes a look around, and can’t get over the sheer size. She started wrestling in front of 50 people, maybe even less. A dream is coming true and it humbles Rhea. Rhea’s dream has been to help others, but she had to first help herself find who she was.
When Rhea first came to WWE, people were all saying that she was a lot like Charlotte Flair. So since then, she made sure she would stand out differently from Charlotte. Ric Flair would say, “To be the man, you’ve got to beat the man,” aka to be the best, you must beat the best. Charlotte is certainly one of the best, and while Rhea doesn’t know what’ll happen, she knows Tampa will erupt seeing that match. Rhea vows to beat the best to become the best, but will the Riptide fail to capsize the Queen?
NXT Women’s Championship #1 Contender’s Qualifier: Shotzi Blackheart VS Chelsea Green w/ Robert Stone!
When NXT takes over Tampa, there will be a major ladder match to determine a challenger for the winner of Ripley VS Flair! The Hot Commodity is bringing the Robert Stone Brand to Tampa! Will she make the brand a contender in the near future?
NXT receives another cryptic message.
A clock, the desert, vultures and crows. A road sign that says “THE END IS NEAR.” Explosions, an eclipse and the apocalypse. Who or what is coming to NXT?
Keith Lee is here!
The NXT North American Champion returns, with the list of contenders already filling back up just a few weeks after TakeOver: Portland. Fans sing for Keith as he gets himself a mic. “Greetings and salutations, you are now conversing with the Limitless One, Keith Lee.” And ever since he became the North American Champion, many men have invoked his name. The one that wants to fight forever, Dominik Dijakovick. The one that wants to live forever, Damien Priest. Keith gives Priest some credit for taking the initiative against Dijakovic, but- Wait, here comes Cameron Grimes! The Carolina Caveman has his own mic as he swaggers down the ramp.
“You don’t need to be talkin’ about Priest. And you don’t need to be talkin’ about Dijakovic.” Keith needs to talk about Cameron Grimes. Fans troll Grimes with chants of, “No One Likes You!” But Grimes points out how he caved in Dijakovic’s chest last week. Did Keith not see that? It took Keith 20 minutes to beat Dijakovic, didn’t it? Fans boo but Keith has them calm down so he can speak. “Well done, you’ve made the gravest mistake of your career.” Grimes speaks up about that time comparison. Fans boo more but Grimes soaks it up. Keith has the fans quiet down but Grimes just riles them up again. Keith gets what Grimes is pointing out but why is Grimes here now?
Grimes says some would say that the TakeOver match was a five-star match. But William Regal gave Grimes a shot at Keith and the North American Championship. Everyone will realize that this is Grime Time! But Keith pushes Grimes out of the ring! If Grimes wants his match, one star, five star, and everywhere in between, then it’ll be an equal opportunity ass whooping! Will Grimes be made to #BaskInHisGlory? Or can he pull off a shocking upset this close to WrestleMania Weekend?

NXT shares Mauro Ranallo’s exclusive interview with Johnny Gargano.
Johnny Gargano himself requested the interview, and so he and Mauro sat in the WWE Performance Center just this afternoon. Mauro respects Gargano but wants to talk Portland and the attack on Tommaso Ciampa. Ciampa said he knows why, but the rest of the world does not. Can Gargano explain his actions?
“You want to know why, Mauro?” Does everyone remember that Gargano was the only one to show up at the red carpet premiere of Mauro’s documentary? That meant more to Mauro than Gargano will ever know. Gargano knows Mauro has a very important job in NXT. Mauro helps tell the stories. Mauro helps tell the world about everyone here. So who is Gargano? Mauro knows. “Johnny Wrestling. More heart than Valentine’s Day. Someone check that man’s DNA.” Gargano loves those lines. But is that all Gargano is? With all due respect, it isn’t about what Mauro thinks, but why Gargano did this. Why all the sneak attacks? Sneak attacks?! What sneak attacks!? “I looked that man in the eyes, okay?!” Gargano stared Ciampa in the eyes and saw what he needed to see.
Same goes for last week. That was no sneak attack when Gargano was wearing his powder blue sports coat! Mauro appreciates Gargano’s emotion, given what Gargano and Ciampa have been through. Gargano says that no one knows anything about them! No one knows what Gargano has actually been through, or what he’s seen, or what he’s felt. That’s why they’re talking. We all want to know. You want to know?! Fine, ask your questions. Mauro wants Gargano to have the opportunity to answer the very simple question: “Why?” Everyone knows why. Gargano gets in Mauro’s face about it, but calms down.
Gargano insists we all know why, but admitting to it would make Mauro a liar. Is he a liar?! No? Have they spoken since Portland? Did Mauro reach out to Gargano? NO. And it didn’t stop Mauro from calling him “Johnny Turncoat” on air, either! Mauro says it was in the moment. Oh everything’s about moments now, huh!? What about Gargano’s moment?! Mauro thinks he knows about Gargano but he doesn’t! Ciampa returns and fans chant, “Daddy’s Home!” Gargano wants Mauro to apologize for being a liar! Mauro backs out of the interview. What’s wrong?! No quips, Mauro!? Gargano takes the camera to say that if Ciampa knows why, then next week, they do things Gargano’s way. Just what more went down between the former friends for things to reach this point?

Will the Experience take over NXT and end the Undisputed Era’s prophecy?
My Thoughts:
This was a really good episode right here! The Steel Cages book-ending the episode was very logical, even if it kinda takes the drama away from one story by having it parallel the other. They at least did a good job of making things different enough between the two matches, though not completely. As I’ve said before, steel cage matches are very cliche by now, especially in the WWE. Raquel was of course a factor for Dakota VS Tegan, so this story is going to continue towards Tampa. Chances are someone will join Tegan’s side, and probably Candice LeRae since she’s almost always lumped into other stories. Dream VS Strong was great because it now leads us to Dream VS Cole for the NXT Championship. The build alone is going to be great for NXT this month.
Next week will also be great with the two title matches. Grimes gets his shot now because he’s definitely not winning. Tampa is definitely going to have Lee VS Priest, possibly even a Triple Threat with Dijakovic involved. The rematch of Broserweights VS reDRagon is going to be great, too, but I feel like Grizzled Young Veterans gets involved. O’Reilly & Fish got their win against Lorcan & Burch so that they can lose next week, and then we get Broserweights VS GYV for Tampa. At the same time, NXT has always done great by the Tag Team Division for the big TakeOvers, so we could easily get a Triple Threat here, too. Rhea’s promo with her visiting Raymond James Stadium was good hype for the NXT Women’s Championship, but it’s still too early to say who wins there.
Theory VS Swerve was a great “filler” match, and it was amazing for Theory to get his first NXT win here. Gargano’s interview promo was perfectly passionate and scary, it really adds something new to the DIY Civil War. Shotzi VS Green was a really good qualifier for the Tampa contender’s match. I can’t wait to see who else the put in that match, though I sense we’ll be seeing some usual suspects, such as Mia Yim or Xia Li. I hope we get the return of Io Shirai to NXT TV, it’d go a long way to assuring us she’s sticking around. At the same time, with Toni Storm no longer able to challenge for the NXT UK Women’s Championship while Kay Lee Ray is champion, I’d love to see her make a big splash in this match. Either way, that match is going to be a lot of fun.
My Score: 9.1/10

Andrew’s TNA Open Fight Night Results & Match Reviews: 11.6.2025
At least it’s some kind of new content before the Live shows next week!
Bet you thought I died or finally threw in the towel from the miserable Delirious and Tommy Dreamer booking. But nope! TNA has just been on boosted clip show crap since Bound For Glory. You think I was gonna cover some Hardy goofball Elvira clip show? UH-UH. So today we’ve got Open Fight Night for the first time since like…2017 I think? That was around the dark TNA times so I only have vague recollections of that, like those bathroom floor memories from a really good night out with your boys.
Let’s see if anything entertaining happens today, or if I’m gonna be nursing this hangover until the Live Impact and PLE next week.

- Mike Santana vs Cedric Alexander: Mike wins via Spin the Block – *** 1/2
Results:
Two Losers vs The Rascalz (Wentz & Trey) vs Great Hands w/Tasha Steelz vs The System (Myers & Eddie) w/Lish
Hair Jabroni and Wentz start off the match, Collar and Elbow, World of Sport open, Wentz with the Arm Drag counter, Jabroni powders, Great Hands try to attack, Rascalz turn it around, System clears the Hands, Rascalz Superkick Party System out and then the Double Dive keeps the Smoke rising to the top of the treehouse. Back from commercial the Rascalz are still beating up the jabroni with hair. They pull off the MCMG High Speed Dirty combo move, but Hotch tags in off Wentz and Jabronis are working over Hotch. Hotch is too talented to bump for these waste of space morons. Hotch thankfully floats over, pokes the eye, but Myers tags bald Jabroni and makes Hotch pay for the arrogance.
Skyler distracts Myers, Myers gets Dropkicked to the outside, cheap shot from Skyler and now Hotch is in charge. Great hands with the quick tags, Tree of Woe Myers, taunt Eddie to distract the referee and Double Oh Canada Crotch Stand. Skyler has Myers in a Headlock, Myers fires, Skyler puts the breaks on it and then slaps Eddie off the apron. More quick tags from Hands, Side Russian/Rolling Neckbreaker Tandem move, but only a two count. Myers gets the fire moment which works, Sunsets Hotch, but Hotch kicks out, Hotch responds with a Dropkick into his own near fall, and Hands maintain control. Skyler tosses Myers to the outside, distracts the ref and Tasha gets in some cheap shots. Hotch doubles over Myers with the Knee Lift, goes to follow but eats the Pele Kick, simultaneous tags, Eddie goes NOAH on Skyler, makes Hotch Fly with a big Overhead Body Drop. Rascalz knock out Hotch, Jabronis take out Trey, try some kind of redirect Dive and it looks bad. Skyler eats hair Jabroni with a Slingshot Spear. But Myers hits the Spear, Eddie with Boston Knee Party, System Wins.
Decent match, but those Jabronis are still the worst thing I’ve ever seen in a relevant promotion (ROH, AEW, MLW, TNA, NXT, WWE).
The Elegance Brand are on the hunt for Mr. Elegance and they want to hear from YOU – submit your video entries via email HERE: EleganceBrand@tnawrestling.com#TNAiMPACT @Ashamae_Sebera @Heathereckless @justmaggielee @IamGeorgeIceman pic.twitter.com/SiOEqxcifK

Well it looks like they’re back to steering too far into the cringe with this Mr. Elegance thing. I…hate this promo, and I like the Elegance Brand generally speaking. This is just too cringe for me.
Dani Luna vs Jody Threat
Jody wanted the fight so Dani obliged. Jody gets the early offense and nearly messes up her Dive but hits enough. Dani tries to Powerbomb off the apron, Jody kicks Dani off and tries to Senton to the floor but Dani dodges, Jody crashes and Dani drives and elbow into the back. Dani LunaTIC is a step I’m enjoying, she’s starting to Suplex Jody around the ring, wants the Irish Whip but Jody blocks and Jumps on Dani’s back for a Rear Naked Choke or something, but Dani slams her back into the corner to break it. Jody tries to fight from beneath but Dani smacks her around, drags her to the center of the ring, tries an Exploder Suplex, but Jody counters, hits her own Exploder, kicks Dani in the face. Looks for her Knees and German, but Dani reads it, dodges and hits her own German Suplex for a near fall.
After the commercial Dani is still in control with a Top Wristlock while Jody is seated, Dani starts raining down elbows but Jody tries to power out, they counter each other’s next few moves, Chop Battle, Suplex counter, but Jody hits a Lariat, then another Lariat sending Dani over the top to the floor and Jody hits the Apron Senton she missed earlier. Throws Dani back in, Jody goes to the top, Crossbody connects, Jody hits a Jackhammer for a two count. Dani connects on an Elbow, into a Back Body Drop, but eats a Boot from Jody. Dani blocks the next move, Rope Assisted Blue Thunder Bomb for Dani but only two again. Dani connects with a few deliberate punches and hair pulls, argues with the official so Jody sneaks a Rear Naked Choke and Dani barely gets to the ropes.
Jody tries to continue, eats a knee, they start trading shots, then Jody ducks a punch, quick strikes before Dani Vader Hammers the back of Jody’s head. Luna Landing attempt but Jody turns it into a Headscissors of sorts. Dani with a beautiful Outside In Apron German Suplex into a Luna Landing for the win. Good job Dani Dumptruck.
Long video package of like post Bound For Glory and future taping places or whatever. Nothing overly relevant aside from El Paso invoking Eddie Guerrero mentions. Oh they decide to show us some Primo & Epico vs Hardyz when they were in El Paso before in a Street Fight of Who Asked For This? I’m not covering this.
TNA Flashback: AJ Styles vs Bobby Roode, TNA Heavyweight Championship 5.24.2012 Open Fight Night
Nice to see a classic with two of the more beloved TNA Originals. But this just proves they didn’t have enough to produce a full show, so there’s a lot of filler and a lot of matches that don’t really matter. And now we get to listen to Kelani Jordan struggle with a heel promo again. Christ, she’s an awful heel. Her promo on NXT was one of the worst things I’ve heard in a while (and Taylor Swift has a newish album, so that’s saying something).
Mike Santana vs Cedric Alexander
Starting the double babyface, putting each other over and a little hand shake. Tie Up, into a clean break, so now we just have to figure out when its gonna pick up. At least 10 minutes in the match since there should be a commercial before the end. Quick World of Sport style counter holds, Arm Wringers, flippy twisty stuff into Head scissors and misses. Cedric dodges the Spin the Block and playfully fans himself as he retreats to the rope for a moment. Shoulder Tackle, Leap Frog, Arm Drag countered with Mexican Arm Drag, Up and Over, Pepper a Forearm, Duck, Dodge, Springboard Crossbody, Cedric pulls Santana to the outside, Superkick from Mike, Mike tries the Dive, Cedric runs in and counters the Dive. Pump Kick from Mike on the Apron, Cedric Apron DDT for the commercial break.
We come back from commercial, Cedric is stalking, hits a German Suplex into two near falls. Santana walks around the corners and lets Cedric Chop him three times, turns it around, Cedric turns around the Irish Whip and hits the Michinoku Driver for a near fall. Cedric has him down in a Chin Lock, peppers in a few shots to the small of the back, but Santana fires up with the crowd, Cedric tries a Lumbar Check but Mike flips out of it. Rope run, Mike with the Diving Lariat, Kip Up, gets Irish Whipped, Up and Over, Enzuigiri, Rope Run again into Rolling Buck Fifty, but Cedric counters with the PK into Fisherman’s Buster for two. The crowd rises for Cedric, he wants the Lumbar Check again but Mike fights it off. Struggling in the corner, Chops from Mike. Superplex attempt countered, Cedric looking for the Avalanche Sunset, Mule Kick from Mike, Cedric is staggered, Rolling Buck Fifty for a two count! Fighting Spirit moment, which only somewhat makes sense because they’re both babyfaces, but still dumb in Western Wrestling. Double Kick counters on the rope run, Locomotion Cradles, La Magistral, Counter STB, Counter Lumbar Check, Cedric hits the ropes and Mike takes his head off with the Spin the Block! Santana wins!
Overall Score: 4/10
Dani actually winning a match and the main event being a good match is nice, but this was a mostly useless show. Lots of filler clips and videos, plus I think Mr Elegance is the dumbest idea they’ve had with the Elegance Brand, and I’m aware that’s encapsulating a lot of cringe, but this is awful. Kelani is a terrible heel so that whole interview was definitely a bathroom break. They also need to stop trying to make those Jabronis from Northern Armoury a thing, they suck, they’re generic looking, they couldn’t draw if you handed them a box of Crayola and construction paper. Do Feast or Fired and get these nerds fired.

Tag to Shane and he goes up, DIVING BODY PRESS! Cover, Henry breaks it! The fans are torn but Shane snarls. Shane drags Beef up and keeps him from his second-cousin-in-law. Shane whips Beef to a corner, runs in, but Beef cartwheels to dodge!
Shane hits buckles, Beef runs back in, DROPKICK! The fans fire up as Shane and Beef are both down! They both crawl, hot tags to Dean and Henry! Henry LARIATS on Dean again and again, then whips. La Faccion Ingobernable also have their own beef with Beef, and they made sure Beef and his friends didn’t get the gold! Then The Infantry mugs Beef some more! Shane talks trash, then he winds up to DECK Beef! The Infantry then drag Beef to the drop zone, Shane goes up, BUT WAIT! Team Sky Flight rushes out here! Scorpio Sky, Dante Martin & Darius Martin told everyone that they’ve got next, will they make that crystal clear with their own Six Man Tag victory tonight? In fact, that match is next!
Six Man Tag: Team Sky Flight VS Matt Menard & The Kingdom!
The teams keep the Code of Honor, the fans cheer, and the teams sort out. Darius starts against Mike Bennett and the fans rally up. They tie up, Mike wrenches and waistlocks, but Darius headlocks to then chinbar Mike into a cravat. The fans rally and Mike endures. Menard gets fans to cheer on “MIKE! MIKE! MIKE!” Mike wrenches but Darius rolls, kips up, and waistlocks to SLAM! Darius floats, rolls Mike to a cover, TWO! Mike runs up but into an arm-drag! Darius has the armlock and the fans rally behind him now, but Mike fights up and headlocks. Dante tags in as Darius powers out, then atomic drop to BULLDOG KNEE SMASH COMBO! Cover, TWO!

ROH Women’s Pure Championship Tournament Quarterfinal: Deonna Purrazzo VS Trish Adora!
The Virtuosa vows to win this tournament because she declares this division exists for her and because of her! But will she prove that as truth and not theory? Or will the AfroPunk make Deonna regret overlooking her so easily?
The Code of Honor is upheld, if just barely, and the bell rings. The clock is ticking as Deonna dares Adora to take her free shot. Adora does, but Deonna dodges! And then Deonna ROCKS Adora with a right! Deonna use her one warning and the fans boo, but then Deonna eggs Adora on again. Adora runs up, Deonna dodges, and she hits a headlock takeover. Deonna stays in this but Adora stays cool with plenty of time on the clock. Adora drags Deonna up, but Deonna fights the suplex! Deonna wrenches free, then WRINGS the arm!
Deonna hobbles away to a corner while Adora clutches her arm. Adora rises, runs up, but Deonna dodges. Deonna runs up, blocks a boot, and THROWS Adora down! Deonna goes up, up, and FLYING KNEE DROPS the bad arm! The fans boo but Deonna soaks up that heat. Deonna drags Adora up, wrenches, and RUSSIAN LEG SWEEPS! Then FUJIWARA ARMBAR! Adora scrambles, ROPEBREAK! The ref counts, Deonna lets go, and that is Adora’s first of three at four minutes in. Deonna reels Adora in, but Adora Alabama Lifts! The fans fire up, Deonna fights the lift, but Adora makes it a jackknife bridge, TWO!
Adora kicks low, whips Deonna, but Deonna goes up, under, and then they knuckle lock! Adora has the advantage in this Test of Strength, and Adora kicks Deonna’s arm to then STRAIGHT ARM LEVER! And then STRAIGHT ARM LEVER! Adora grinds her elbow into Deonna’s shoulder, has a top wristlock, but Deonna endures. Deonna fights up, the fans rally, and Deonna HEADBUTTS Adora down! Adora falls on the cover, TWO!! Deonna is stunned but she hurries to cover again, TWO! We’re only five minutes in, still really early, but Deonna fireman’s carries. Adora fights free, shoves Deonna, but Deonna wrenches!
Adora ducks a lariat to waistlock, but Deonna fires elbows! Adora drops down, BASEMENT GERMAN SUPLEX! Bridging cover, TWO! Adora stays in the bridge and the fans fire up! Adora rises, fires herself back up, and she suplexes Deonna! Deonna fights it, tries to suplex back, but they go back and forth! The fans rally as the lifts get higher and higher, Adora suplexes high and hard! Cover, TWO! Deonna survives and Adora roars! The fans fire up with Adora as she powers up her arm! Adora waits on Deonna, runs up, LARIAT TUB- NO! Deonna ducks and Adora hits ropes! Then Deonna wrangles Adora, FUJIWARA ARMBAR!!
Adora scrambles, reaches out, and she fights her way around! The fans rally, but Deonna shifts to HAMMER Adora into a RINGS OF SATURN! VENUS DEMILO!! Adora QUITS, Deonna wins!!
Winner: Deonna Purrazzo, by submission (advances to the semifinals)
It took seven minutes on the dot, and Deonna is now moving forward towards her goal! She still shows Adora respect and Adora shows it back. Will Adora just have to reload and wait for the tournament to crown a champion? Will Deonna be the one to define Pure in the ROH Women’s Division?
