Lance Archer VS Eddie Kingston!

The Murderhawk Monster and the Mad King are finally having a 1v1 contest, and it will truly be 1v1 because none of their allies are allowed ringside! Will Archer finally shut Kingston up about all the “almost” losses?

Kingston is after Archer the second he’s in the ring, and he CHOPS! Archer just grins! Archer throws his shirt off, throws it at Kingston and eggs him on. Kingston CHOPS, Archer BOOTS Kingston over! Archer runs and hits an elbow in the corner! And then goes corner to corner, hits another! Kingston avoids the third and fires off on a leg! Kingston BITES Archer’s head as they’re on the ropes! The ref reprimands, Kingston CLUBS Archer then CHOPS him again! Archer finally feels that, and Kingston puts Archer in a corner. Kingston CHOPS, Archer eggs him on, but Kingston pokes him in the eye!

Archer staggers about, Kingston elbows him on the back then goes after the leg. Kingston chokes Archer on ropes, lets off as the ref counts, then stalks Archer to another corner for kidney shots! Kingston keeps on Archer’s body, kicks the legs out, but Archer rakes eyes back! Fans rally as Archer ROCKS Kingston with a right! Kingston flounders, CHOPS back, and CHOPS again, then goes to a corner, Kingston goes up, leaps, FLYING SHOULDER! Archer stays up!? Archer shakes out the cobwebs but Kingston runs, but Archer DERAILS him! Fans fire up while Kingston sits up in a daze.

Archer stalks Kingston, drags him up by his ears, then brings him around to CLUB him. Kingston clings to Archer’s legs but Archer brings him up to CHOP him down! Fans want that “One More Time!” and Archer drags Kingston up to CHOP him again! Kingston flops down and Archer seethes as he drags him back up. Archer choke grips and CHOKE SLAMS Kingston to the apron! Kingston flops to the floor as fans lose their minds! The ring count climbs as Kingston stirs, but Archer goes out to fetch him. Archer drags Kingston up and bumps him off the camera! Talk about a close-up! “Everything is in my playground!”

Archer kicks Kingston, whips him and sends him into railing! Archer digs Kingston’s head into the railing! The ref counts, Archer lets off to scare the ref off, and then Archer goes back to drag Kingston up. Archer brings Kingston over to bounce off the timekeeper’s table! Kingston scrambles into the ring, Archer pursues and brings him up in a full nelson, for a SLAM! Archer says he’s just getting started with Kingston, and he goes to a corner! The Fam still found a way to screw Archer over! Kingston survives, and then The Blade and Butcher drag Archer up for the POWERBOMB NECKBREAKER! The Fam isn’t done, either, they sit Archer back up for Kingston’s BACK HAND! Jake the Snake tries to get up but the damage has been done. Will Kingston and his henchmen continue to wreak havoc on AEW?

Jon Moxley speaks.

“Okay, let me see if I’ve got this right. The Young Bucks are the tag team champions, and they’re friends with Kenny, but Kenny’s friends with The Goody Brothers, and they’re the tag team champions, too. So now they’re all friends? They’re all one big happy family? How is that going to work? Is that going to work?” No it’s not. The Elite is like The Young & The Restless. And then there’s Death Triangle, PAC & The Lucha Brothers, who don’t like any part of The Elite. They don’t even like Moxley, because they used to be friends with Kingston who has beef with Mox. But now Moxley has to team with them at Beach Break?

Moxley is a simple guy. Cold beer, hot coffee, room temperature water and sex in the morning because it’s a great way to start the day. The only person you can trust is number one, so he only trusts his two hands. But Moxley loves Six Man Tags, so saddle up, compadres. This’ll be fun! Gang warfare! Moxley doesn’t know what happens at Beach Break, but it’ll be wild~! Incendiary ingredients on Dynamite, don’t blink or you’ll miss it.

Sting and Darby Allin speak.

The Icon says they’ll get on a first name basis right now. Taz, Brian, Ricky, since they’ll be in that Street Fight at Revolution, and since Team Taz loves to throw out false accusations, Sting will say their feelings are hurt. They called these two hoodlums? Really? Darby is a bit of a hoodlum, yes, but in the streets, it doesn’t matter if you play it clean or dirty. It’s all about survival! Darby chucks his skateboard through a window, and admits he is a hoodlum, no different from Sting. Sting uses the baseball bat to smash up the rest of the window! Sting admits it, too. Revolution, Street Fight, showtime.

Y2MJF w/ The Inner Circle VS The Varsity Blondes!

There’s a lot of history to this match, even before things in AEW. But Chris Jericho won’t hold back on Brian Pillman Jr. over it, and he expects nothing less from Pillman Jr. in return. But will that mean the first 2v2 outing of Le Demo God and the Salt of the Earth won’t be a success?

Jericho revels in the fans singing Judas for him, the teams sort out, and MJF wants to speak first. MJF wants to talk with Sammy Guevara later, and then he says is that Griff? Look at Goldilocks here. Last time they met, MJF embarrassed Griff on live television. So let’s just skip ahead to where Griff loses, okay? NOPE! Griff DECKS MJF, keeps him in the ring, then rains down more fists! MJF scrambles away, Wardlow keeps him away from Griff, but Griff gets around to get back in. MJF dodges but Griff BOOTS him down! The Inner Circle gets MJF to safety and MJF gets a chair out of frustration. The Inner Circle keeps MJF from throwing this match and MJF says Griff is dead!

MJF gets back in the ring, talks trash, then tags out to Jericho. Jericho run sin but into a drop toehold! Griff wrenches Jericho, tags in BPJ, and the Blondes double whip, kick and NECKBREAKER to a leg drop, brother! Cover, TWO! BPJ CHOPS Jericho, wrenches and whips, but Jericho holds ropes to deny the dropkick. Jericho runs but BPJ dropkicks him down! Fans fire up as BPJ whips, Jericho reveres and MJF gets a cheap shot in! Jericho DECKS BPJ then tags in MJF!

AEW goes picture in picture as MJF CLAWS BPJ and tells Griff up his! MJF digs his fingers into BPJ’s face but lets off as the ref reprimands. MJF stalks BPJ, throws punches down on him, then soaks up the heat from fans. MJF feeds BPJ to Jericho’s boot, then CHOPS him! Tag to Jericho, Jericho throws hands, then tags MJF back in. Y2MJF double whip, and double flapjack BPJ down! MJF steps on BPJ, then so does Jericho. The Inner Circle soaks up the heat, MJF drags BPJ up to CLUB him down. MJF kicks at Griff but scrambles away before he can get hit. MJF chokes BPJ, covers, TWO! MJF rakes BPJ’s eyes, rakes his face on the ropes, then headbutts him!

Tag to Jericho, MJF digs his boots into BPJ as Jericho gets in Griff’s face, then Griff goes back to stomp and bump BPJ off buckles. Jericho hoists BPJ up top, CHOPS him, then climbs up to join him. BPJ throws hands back but Jericho clubs him. Jericho stands up on the very top, but BPJ GOURD BUSTERS him! BPJ gets up, leaps, and hits a crossbody! Cover, TWO! Fans rally while both men are down and AEW returns to single picture. Hot tags to Griff and MJF! The Ivy League MVP rallies on Y2MJF but MJF kicks low! MJF runs into Griff’s HUGE back drop! Griff wrenches and ROCKS Jericho!

Fans fire up as Griff goes corner to corner, BIG splash to MJF! Whip to the corner, SPLASH for both Y2MJF! DOUBLE SPEAR!! Cover, TWO!! MJF survives but Griff just fires up as he drags MJF up. Fans fire up with BPJ as he fetches Jericho into the ring. BPJ aims from a corner, springboards and leaps, into a JUDAS EFFECT!! LIONSAULT!! Cover, someone took out Griff, Y2MJF win!!

Winners: Y2MJF, by pinfall

MJF adds insult to injury as he throws BPJ out just so he can stand with Jericho. The Inner Circle’s “official” team in the tag division is off to a strong start, will they go all the way to the top and take the AEW World Tag Team Championships for their own?

PAC speaks.

“Here we go again!” Kenny Omega is taking liberties, acting like ‘Billy Big Bollocks,” acting like he owns the place and owns this business. He has the “clown” Callis and the Impact Wrestling Tag Team Champions, while manipulating some and blindsiding others. SO at Beach Break, bring the Good Brothers, because Pac and Rey Fenix will show you what brotherhood is! You hit them, they hit you back! Time to face the consequences!

AEW shares Shaq’s message from the AEW Dynamite Awards on TNT.

“Cody Rhodes, you little punk. You want to battle, you just name the time and the day. I’ll be there.” Cody looks like a little girl with that blonde hair. Shaq suggests we do this in March, aka Revolution. What will Cody say?

Tony Schiavone is in the ring!

To respond to Shaq’s comments right now, here’s Cody Rhodes! The American Nightmare goes to the ring, along with Coach Arn Anderson. Schiavone knows they want to respond to Shaq, but also to Jade Cargill from The Waiting Room. Cody says to respond to Shaq and Jade, he’d rather just give us the “pitch.” He’d like to say March 7th, AEW Revolution, it’d be himself and Brandi Rhodes VS Shaq & Jade, but life happens. He and Brandi are having a baby. “In these moments where I am rather confused and distracted,” Cody defers to The Coach!

And if we’re wondering how much of a coach Arn is, Arn chewed Cody out for taking Peter Avalon too easily last week. Arn has been right consistently for years, they talked with Tony Khan about where Cody fits on the Revolution card, so the floor is Arn’s. Arn says he wants to earn his money because he might contradict himself, so please be patient. But the fact is, Cody’s about to be a dad. That is right on the forefront of his mind, as it should be. That is the most important thing in his life.

But think about this: June 29th, 1985. What date is that to Cody? That was when Arn saw Dusty Rhodes crawl in the ring with Tully Blanchard, fight 30 minutes, then fly home in time to see the birth of Baby Cody. Now if Cody chooses March 7th, to jump in the Revolution, do it with eyes wide open, no regrets. But Arn will point out the obvious: there is a lot of time between the birthdate and the show. Doesn’t Cody want to be part of something? It’s hard to capture the public eye but he could do that with this match.

For 19 years, Shaq dominated the court as a world-class athlete. Jade, every time she walks in, she dominates that room. But the fact is, Arn’s seen something these last two weeks, something that can’t be measured or even rational to name. Arn wants Cody to see something. In steps RED VELVET! Velvet has had her own problems with Jade Cargill, and Arn hopes Cody sees the fire inside Velvet like what Cody has in him. Velvet gets the mic to stare down the camera and say she’s here because she is FED UP of getting attacked, watching Brandi get disrespected by a “big mouth coward” who knows Brandi can’t defend herself.

Everyone knows Cody would never lay a hand on a woman. But Velvet will! Velvet is about to stir that bitch-ass up! Fans like the sound of that! Arn says that’s what he meant! Then perhaps Jade and Shaq have the ball in their court! Are we still getting a huge mixed tag match for Revolution?

AEW issues the official invite to the Superbad Beach Break wedding!

Kip Sabian says “my heart is in my hands My head is in the clouds. My feet have left the ground. And my life, our life, is turning around.” Penelope Ford is so excited to marry this handsome man, the man of her dreams, the best kisser. So they cordially invite us to watch their wedding, with Miro as The Best Man, and of course “Charles” Taylor the butler will be there! Surely a wedding on a wrestling program will go smoothly, right?

Hangman Page VS Ryan Nemeth!

The Cowboy takes on the debuting “Hollywood Hunk” as Hangman tries to shake off the awkward situation where he had to reject The Dark Order’s recruitment proposal. Will he be able to focus against this hungry and determined wrestler?

The bell rings, fans rally for Hangman but Nemeth shoots in to get a leg. Hangman gets the rope but Nemeth says he got a point like this is collegiate wrestling. They tie up again, Hangman wrenches to a wristlock but Nemeth gets around to hammerlock then headlock, two points! Hangman powers out, Nemeth bumps him but Hangman runs him over! Things speed up, Hangman fakes Nemeth out and BOOTS him down! Hangman CHOPS Nemeth to the corner, CHOPS him again, then chops but Nemeth dodges to CHOP and CHOP in return! Nemeth swaggers about but Hangman DECKS him!

Hangman stalks Nemeth to a corner, stomps a mudhole into him then walks it dry as the ref counts. Hangman drags Nemeth up to throw him to the apron, and then TRIANGLE LARIATS him to the floor! Nemeth gets up but Hangman PLANCHAS! Direct hit and fans fire up! Hangman drags Nemeth up, puts him back in, then fires the fans up as he runs in corner to corner. Nemeth dodges to dropkick Hangman down! Cover, ONE! Nemeth wrenches and WRINGS the arm out, and now Big Money Matt Hardy is ringside? Is he scouting? Nemeth hammerlocks an arm, headstands to put pressure on the hold, then grabs at hair. The ref reprimands and Nemeth lets go.

Hangman gets up to CHOP and forearm but Nemeth knees low! Nemeth whips but Hangman holds ropes. Nemeth kicks, whips but Hangman reverses, only for Nemeth to turn it around into a Rude Awakening! Cover, TWO! Hangman forearms but Nemeth hits back. Nemeth whips corner to corner but Hangman comes back to CLOBBER him! Hangman whips, Nemeth dodges but Hangman hits a SPINEBUSTER! Hardy seems to be cheering Hangman on as Nemeth gets to a corner. Hangman runs corner to corner to clothesline! Hangman rolls Nemeth, runs, SLIDING LARIAT! Cover, TWO!

Hardy cheers Hangman with the fans as he brings Nemeth up to fireman’s carry. Nemeth fights out, Hangman CHOPS and whips but Nemeth reverses to SATELLITE DDT! Cover, TWO!! Hangman gets to a corner, Nemeth runs in but Hangman elbows him back! Nemeth runs into a boot, but he ducks a lariat to GERMAN SUPLEX! Hangman lands on his feet, ROLLING ELBOW! Hangman whips Nemeth to LARIAT! Then Hangman goes to the apron, takes aim, and slingshots, BUCK SHOT!! Cover, Hangman wins!

Winner: Hangman Page, by pinfall

Hardy applauds then goes up to the ramp. Hangman sees Hardy turn to leave but invites him into the ring. Tony Schiavone hurries over to see what this is about. Hardy didn’t want to create a scene, but the reason he came out was to be in Hangman’s corner and let him know he supports Hangman. Hardy has been a bit concerned, Hangman seems lost and conflicted. That’s understandable. Hardy was part of Stadium Stampede, he knows that Hangman got burned by The Elite and he didn’t deserve it. The Dark Order wants Hangman to join and that’s just awkward.

Hardy doesn’t want anything from Hangman, just to let him know that Hangman is a good person who deserves to be happy. Hardy needed to say that and Hangman needed to hear it. Hangman is dressing alone in the hallway near catering. Hardy has a huge dressing room with plenty of space. Hangman is more than welcome to join him there, no strings attached. Hardy lets Hangman think that over, what will Hangman’s answer be?

Jungle Boy w/ Jurassic Express VS Dax Harwood w/ Cash Wheeler & Tully Blanchard!

Though Marko Stunt, Luchasaurus and the rest of FTR are all ringside, things will be a little different than usual. To make sure Cash and Tully don’t interfere, they will be handcuffed not just to each other, but to Luchasaurus! Will the wrestling dinosaur be able to keep things fair and square?

First, the ref and security help cuff Cash and Tully to Luchasaurus per the agreement. Then they all take a seat, though Luchasaurus has to make Cash sit. The bell rings and JB stares down with Dax. Dax brings JB up, JB slips out to waistlock but Dax switches, GERMAN! JB lands on his feet, SUPERKICK!

JB wrenches, ducks Dax’s lariat but not the SECOND LARIAT! FTR and Luchasaurus are out of their seats and fans cheer, “This is Awesome!” Dax drags JB up, reels him back in and underhooks, but JB RANAS! Cover, TWO!! Dax reels JB back in, another lift, rebound POWERBOMB! Cover, TWO!?! Everyone goes nuts over that! Dax drags JB up to a full nelson but JB drops to resist! Dax keeps trying but JB breaks free! Team Taz responds!

“So Sting, Darby, being that we’re on a first name basis and all, Ricky and Brian are ready to destroy you come Revolution.” But Will Hobbs and Hook notice something going on, and say hey to the merchandise guys. Wait, they have the Darby gear and Sting gear, but where are the Team Taz merchandise? They weren’t given any of that. Oh is that so? Hook and Hobbs start throwing hands! And then they start throwing the staff around! Cage and Starks get in on that too, and they tear down the Sting and Darby merch to tear it up!

“You want to disrespect us?! We ain’t done!” Cage TOSSES one of the guys against the truck! And Starks SLAMS another through the table! “First name basis, huh, brother? Ricky Starks and Brian Cage are gonna BEAT YOUR ASS in that Street Fight!”

MJF finds Sammy Guevara backstage.

He just wants a moment, and says he did NOT tell Wardlow to get involved in last week’s Triple Threat Tag. Wardlow is literally the worst employee MJF has ever had, he docked Wardlow’s pay. No money for War Dog, and MJF promises that it’ll never happen again. Sammy asks if MJF is done. Does MJF think Sammy is stupid? Sammy sees what’s going on, even though MJF has everyone else fooled. Congratulations, though, on being a great manipulator. One of the best, really. Round of applause! Hats off to MJF. But Sammy sees what MJF is up to. Is that so? Yes, it is.

MJF asks Sammy if he really wants to play it this way. Sammy isn’t playing. The two stare down, but MJF backs away. Will the differences between these two be what tears The Inner Circle apart?

AEW sets the field for the Beach Break Tag Team Battle Royal!

Top Flight, Private Party, Jurassic Express, FTR, The Acclaimed, The Dark Order’s Evil Uno & Stu Grayson, and ALL THREE duos within The Inner Circle, are in the match for a shot at the titles at Revolution! But surprisingly, so are The Young Bucks! That means if Matt & Nick Jackson win, they choose who they face at the PPV! Will the Bucks take their fate into their own hands?

AEW also sets some of the Women’s World Championship Eliminator Tournament First Round matches!

NWA Women’s World Champion, Serena Deeb, takes on the returning and inaugural AEW Women’s Champion, Riho! What a powerful first match in a surely star-studded bracket! Who else from both the United States and Japan will be competing for a shot at Hikaru Shida?

Backstage interview with “The Elite!”

Dasha knows it has been five YEARS since these four have been in a ring together, how are they feeling? Karl Anderson says for the first time in those five years, it is a “full blown Bullet Club Party!” Tonight, they take out the Dark Order and what else? #BigLG says if we’re gonna Biz Cliz, then they gotta Biz Cliz softly! Gyrate! Then next week at Beach Break, they BEAT UP REY FENIX! BEAT UP PAC! And their favorite thing ever, BEAT UP JON MOXLEY! So pumped up! Are the Bucks down? Oh yeah, just as pumped, just as jazzed, but uh… Just as long as “that mark stooge, Creepy Uncle Don” doesn’t get involved.

Whoa, c’mon, now, Young Bizzles, you gotta understand. Relax about Donaconda. Last week, they and Kenny took out Pentagon for them! That was all Don’s idea. Well no one asked you guys to do that! But now Kenny Omega himself walks in, and he high fives the Good Brothers. Is he interrupting something? Sorta. Well maybe they need to talk about something later. Callis comes by with a BIG bandage on his face! What is that? Hey, we all know the Bucks assaulted him- No they did not! Take that off! Omega gets the Bucks to leave Callis alone and the music hits, it’s time for the main event!

8 Man Tag: The Young Bucks & The Good Brothers VS The Dark Order!

The AEW World and Impact Wrestling Tag Team Champions are joining forces, but it’s not exactly a happy reunion of The Bullet Club. A lot of the tension and drama comes from the fact Don Callis is in Kenny Omega’s ear and trying to direct his life. Will Matt & Nick be able to work with Gallows & Anderson against Uno, Stu, Reynolds & Silver?

The teams sort out, and Uno starts against Machine Gun. They tie up, go around, Anderson wrenches to a wristlock but Uno slips through to headlock. Anderson powers out, but Uno runs him over! Uno brushes off, things speed up and Anderson leaps into an atomic drop! Roll up, TWO!! Anderson gets away but Uno stomps a hand! Uno bends fingers, wrenches the wrist then tags in Silver! Anderson gets away but Number 4 calls out the big man! Johnny Hungy for some Doc Gallows and Gallows tags in! Gallows laughs at Silver, and calls for a test of strength just out of reach. Silver gets face to… well, chest, with Gallows, but Gallows kneels to be on Silver’s level! Sliver fires off forearms!

Silver fires up, runs but Anderson gets a cheap shot in! And then blames it on Nick! Silver DECKS Nick, Gallows ROCKS Silver! Gallows tags in Matt, they mug Silver, then Matt throws haymakers. Matt rakes Silver’s back, whips him to ropes but Silver holds ropes! Reynolds tags in, they bait Matt in to shoulder and slingshot sunset flip! Matt slips out, Reynolds runs and flying elbows! And then dropkicks! Reynolds kicks up and fans fire up as he goes after Matt with forearms! Reynolds whips, Nick tags in and Matt slides under to whip back, Double hip toss and handspring dropkicks from Bucks to Reynolds! Then double dropkicks for Uno!

Nick SHINING WIZARDS Reynolds, BULLDOG DROPKICK COMBO! Nick drags Reynolds up, whips him to a corner, then tags in Anderson. Anderson tags in Gallows, the Club blasts the Dark Order, then Nick whips Matt to forearm Reynolds! Nick adds a clothesline, Anderson adds the rocket kick, then Gallows corner splashes! Back suplex to the ALLEY OOP and the neckbreaker! It’s just like old times as they all Too Sweet! Gallows drags Reynolds to the corner, tags Matt in and Matt brings Reynolds up. Reynolds fires off hands in return, runs, but Anderson trips him up! Matt runs but Uno trips him up! It’s all fair isn’t it?

Reynolds scrambles, Nick gets his legs but Reynolds kicks him away! Tag to Stu and he springboard crossbodies! Stu dropkicks Gallows’ legs out, dodges Matt and dropkicks again! Nick gets in, misses, and Stu counters superkick to a leg hook and HALF ‘N’ HALF! Anderson gets in to hit Stu and throws him out but Stu ROCKS him back! Stu springboards to dropkick Gallows! Anderson runs into an URENAGE! Stu keeps moving as he goes to a corner and climbs up! FROG SPLASH! Cover, TWO!! Anderson survives but Stu drags Anderson up to the corner. Tag to Uno as AEW goes picture in picture.

Uno and Stu get Anderson up but Gallows distracts! The ref also says he didn’t see Uno tag in so he’s not legal! Anderson shoves Stu into Gallows’ fireman’s carry and FLAPJACK! Gallows exits as Anderson covers, TWO! Anderson keeps Stu down, tags in Nick and Nick stomps Stu. Nick drags Stu up, snapmares him then tags in Mat. Fist drop and senton combo! Matt brings Stu up, snap suplexes him, then covers, TWO! Matt keeps on Stu with a chinlock and grinds him down. Stu endures, fights up and throws body shots, but Matt bumps him off buckles! Tag to Gallows and Gallows throws heavy hands from all sides!

Tag to Nick, Gallows and Nick mug Stu, and Nick DECKS Stu with a right! Nick clamps on with a facelock and he grinds Stu down. Stu endures, fights back up, throws body shots, but Nick clubs him! Nick whips, but Stu catches Nick to a fireman’s carry, and SWINGING FACEBUSTER! The Bullet Club gets in to BLAST the Dark Order corner again, stranding Stu! Matt and the Good Brothers mug Uno and the Beaver Boys, then they all set up by the apron! But Uno, Reynolds and Silver slip out of the triple apron bombs to RAM all three men into railing!

AEW returns to single picture as Nick snapmares Stu and runs, only for Stu to duck the Penalty Kick! Kip up and PELE! Stu crawls, hot tag to Silver! Silver rallies on Nick with big clotheslines! Silver whips, back drops Nick and fires up! Nick hobbles around, Silver whips him again but Nick holds ropes. Silver runs in, Nick puts him on the apron but Silver sees him go up the corner and GAMANGIRIS him down! Silver then CANNONBALLS into Anderson, BLASTS Gallows and BOOTS Matt!! Silver gets in but Nick catches him for a backslide. Silver slips out to fire off kicks and then a BRAIN BUSTER! Cover, TWO!! Nick survives but fans say “This is Awesome!”

Tag to Uno, he brings Nick up to a fireman’s carry but Nick slips out! Uno blocks the kick, hands it to the ref and hits a neckbreaker! Uno hurries up top now, and SWANTON FLOPS! Tag to Matt, he shoulders into Uno then slides under. Matt gets around Stu, and gets both the OG for a NORTHERN LIGHTS! The Beaver Boys attack, whip but Matt dodges to DOUBLE LARIAT! Matt is fired up now and he runs to clothesline Silver! Then one for Reynolds! One for Silver but he dodges to KICK! ROLLING ELBOW, ENZIGURI, STUNNER, GERMAN! The Beaver Blitz! Uno and Stu hit FATALITY!! Cover, but Anderson breaks it!!

Good Brothers brawl with Beaver Boys and throw them out, then Uno tags Stu! Nick SUPERKICKS Uno then SUPERKICKS Stu! Nick builds speed as the Dark Order regroups, for the ESCALARA! Nick brings Stu up, Anderson has Reynolds, DOUBLE APRON BOMB! No wait, TRIPLE because Gallows does the same to Silver! They put Stu in, Bucks and Good Brothers line up the shot, “TOO SWEET!” QUADRUPLE SUPERKICK!! Cover, but Uno breaks it!! Uno saves the match but Gallows ROCKS him! MAGIC KILLER! The Bucks have Stu, gut wrench and springboard, MELZTER DRIVER!! Cover, the Elite wins!

Winners: The Young Bucks & The Good Brothers, by pinfall

Whether you like it or not, the Bullet Club boys took down The Dark Order as a unified unit! And Matt gets the mic to say that next week at Beach Break, whoever wins the Tag Team Battle Royal gets a shot at the AEW World Tag titles at Revolution! But if you haven’t heard, the Bucks are in that match, too! That means if they win, they handpick whoever they want to face! And think about it. It could be anyone. They look at the Good Brothers, and the Good Brothers Too Sweet that idea! But then REY FENIX gets in and springboards to missile dropkick the Bucks!

The Good Brothers attack Fenix and drag him up, but Fenix fights out of Magic Killer! And Moxley is here to CLOBBER Gallows! Fenix FLIES to take Anderson out! And some railing, too! But Omega rushes in to go after Moxley, only to get a kick and the PARADIGM SHIFT!! The Elite were standing tall, but the Maniac and the Firebird fired the first shots! Will they and Pac avenge Penta El Zero M on the road to Revolution?

My Thoughts:

A great episode that was both go-home to Beach Break but also a step towards Revolution in March. Archer VS Kingston was good but one-sided until The Fam came out with Jake the Snake as their hostage. Kingston wins to extend the feud, I have a feeling the blow-off, in whatever form it takes, will be for Revolution. While Death Triangle is focused on The Elite, I think they can easily circle back to The Fam for the PPV and have something really wild. Sting and Darby had a decent promo, Team Taz had a decent promo in response, but the build just hasn’t felt that exciting for what it’s setting up. I hope the Street Fight is really, really good to make up for some of that.

Y2MJF VS Varsity Blondes was a lot of fun, and there was a lot of energy with The Inner Circle all ringside to have their parts to play. Naturally Y2MJF wins, they can’t lose their first time in a 2v2. Though it is an interesting move for AEW to put all the combinations, from Y2MJF to Sammy-Hager to Santana-Ortiz in the battle royal. I suppose AEW as a company doesn’t have to follow the Inner Circle’s self-imposed edict, but that perhaps means the Inner Circle all work together until the end, where in theory, MJF and Jericho would want the other two teams to bow out and eliminate themselves. The tension between MJF and Sammy will surely keep that from happening, so maybe we get the Inner Circle break-up already.

It makes a lot of sense for Red Velvet to take Brandi’s place in what was obviously going to be the mixed tag of the Nightmare Family VS Shaq & Jade. Velvet was tied into the story with Brandi, Jade and the Vicious Vixens, so this is a very good adjustment. Hangman VS Nemeth was good but a bit of a shame that it was really just the vehicle towards a story of Hardy and Hangman. I wonder if Private Party will have a part to play in this, such as warning Hangman about the ridiculous manager contracts Hardy put on them. And I would think The Dark Order also plays a part in that story since they still want Hangman for them, and maybe by Revolution, we learn who Hangman joins.

Jungle Boy VS Dax Harwood was an incredible match! Might have even been match of the night because of how close it was. There was great character work and story with Luchasaurus going back and forth with Cash and Tully, and great everything with JB and Dax in the ring. JB winning is big, but then FTR takes Luchasaurus’ horns to stand tall in their own way. With the battle royal determining Revolution challengers, there’s still a lot of story for Jurassic Express and FTR to have, and maybe the blow-off winners get their shot at say Fyter Fest or maybe Double or Nothing.

Britt VS Shanna was a good match, but of course Britt as a Heel needs Rebel to help her. That does help keep Shanna strong in a way, but Britt goes in with the momentum against Rosa. Rebel is probably how Britt wins against Rosa, too, and that could get Britt a spot in the Women’s Championship Eliminator Tournament. Serena Deeb VS Riho being announced as a first round match up is great, but that honestly feels like it should’ve been a later round match. At the same time, Serena has her own title to fall back on, so it’s probably just the best possible way to get eyes on this tournament and to get Riho back into things in AEW.

We got a lot of great stuff out of the story with Omega and The Elite. Moxley had a good promo, Pac had a really good promo, and the promo before the main event was great. Callis is definitely faking or at least exaggerating what happened with him and the Bucks just to get Omega to turn against them. And so far, Bucks and Good Brothers being on good terms is the right move to me. The issue is with Callis, not them, but perhaps when push comes to shove, Gallows & Anderson take Callis’ side.

At the same time, I like that the Bucks already teased a match with Good Brothers for tag titles, that’s a good tease for Revolution. Moxley and Fenix going after The Elite to stand tall probably means Omega and Good Brothers stand tall at Beach Break to further the Bullet Club Civil War between AEW and Impact, but I wonder if any other former Club members get involved. Will Hangman have a change of heart and rejoin The Elite? Will Cody at least be asked? Will someone from Bullet Club NJPW show up in AEW to also establish that crossover? The various possibilities are all really fun so hopefully we get that going into the Summer.

My Score: 9.3/10

AEW World Tag Team Championships: FTR w/ Stokely Hathaway VS The Rascalz!

Cash Wheeler & Dax Harwood are always high off their own egos, but those egos cost them as they tried to rip Zachary Wentz & Dezmond Xavier for their extracurricular activities. The Rascalz are cashing in those golden tickets, will they turn them into a trip to Los Angeles? Or will the #TopGuys still meet the Young Bucks for Revolution?

The introductions are made, the belts are raised, and we see who lights it up in Tucson!

The teams sort out and Cash starts against Zach. The fans boo FTR as the two tie up, and Zach arm-drags Cash to a facelock. Cash gets free and goes to the ropes. Zach storms up on Dax and chases him out of the ring. Dax swings, Zach dodges, but Cash is there to CLOBBER Zach! The fans boo but FTR is all fired up, and Stoke gets a cheap shot in! The ref tells Stoke to back off while Collision goes picture in picture.

Zach taunts Myron Reed using The Rascalz’s own unique taunt. Cash then drags Zach up and THROWS him into railing! FTR taunt the fans, even as the fans give thumbs down. FTR drags Zach up and puts him in the ring. Cash stomps Zach down, taunts Dez with the classic middle finger, then he bumps Zach off buckles. FTR mugs Zach while the ref keeps Dez back. Cash then short arm LARIATS Zach down! Cover, TWO! Cash keeps Zach from Dez with a BIG back suplex! Cash soaks up heat as he looms over Zach, then he steps on Zach as he goes to the corner. Cash then clamps onto Zach with a chinbar.

Zach endures, fights to his feet, but Cash facelocks. Zach powers up but Cash UPPERCUTS him down! Cash flexes before he tags Dax. Dax drags Zach up just to BOOT him down! Dax clamps onto Zach with a chinlock and squeezes tight. Zach endures, fights up, and Collision returns to single picture. The fans taunt FTR while Zach ROCKS Dax, ELBOWS Cash, but then Dax kicks low! Dax reels Zach in, but Zach cradle counters! TWO, and Dax picks Zach up to keep him from Dez! Zach sunset flips it, TWO! The Top Guys survive Dez & Zach, but they still sent another message to The Young Bucks. FTR copied their moves, but will they still best The Bucks in LA? Or will it be reign number four for Matt & Nick Jackson?

As FTR goes up the ramp, MARK BRISCOE appears! The fans cheer as the Sussex County Chicken is here, planning on joining commentary for what’s next. Briscoe shows respect to his old rivals, and FTR continues on their way out. Will Briscoe have a good time watching The Psycho Killer and Red Death battle it out?

Hook and Shibata commandeer another camera.

The Opps are in Tucson, and the Cold-Hearted Handsome Devil says they’re recruiting. Just not whoever this rando is, laters. But then Anthony Bowens calls out to Hook. Bowens steps in and says he thought hard on what Hook said last week. Bowens has come to the conclusion that he can be a killer in the ring. All Hook has to do is let him show you. Yeah? Hell yeah! So Bowens wants to show him? Grab the camera from Shibata. W-What does that mean? Hook says trust him, take the camera. Bowens indeed takes the camera and Shibata now walks with Hook. Hook asks another rando if he’s a wrestler. The guy says yeah.

Hook asks if the guy wants to be in Opps. Well, sure! Then quick test, how do you get out of this? REDRUM! The guy cannot escape, and the poor guy is out like a light. Oh, c-cool, can Bowens give the camera back to Shibata now or…? Hook says nah, just keep following them. Is the Pride of Professional Wrestling going to be alright selling out just to get in The Opps?

Tommaso Ciampa VS Daniel Garcia!

The Sicilian Psycho wants after Kyle Fletcher and that TNT Championship, but the same can be said for the Dragonslayer. These former TNT Champions battle it out, who will take one step closer to The Protostar?

The bell rings and the fans already cheer Ciampa on. Ciampa and Garcia stare down, step up, then tie up. They’re in a deadlock as they go around, adn Ciampa awistlocks for the takedown. Garcia pursues, and whips him into the barriers! Garcia props Ciampa’s leg up on barriers, then gets space.

Garcia runs in, but Ciampa’s up to CHOP him! Then CHOP again! And CHOP again! But Garcia dropkicks the legs out! Ciampa hobbles and falls while Collision goes to break.

Collision returns to single picture and Garcia runs in at the corner, but into an ELBOW! Garcia comes back, he blocks the boot, and he DROPKICKS the leg! Garcia goes up and reels Ciampa in for a HANGING SLEEPER! The ref counts, the fans boo, but Garcia lets go at 4 to flex. Garcia aims, MISSILE- JUMP KNEE from Ciampa! The fans cheer as both men fall down! The fans rally up as both men rise up, and Briscoe says that’s how Ciampa does, Ciampa looks for the opening, then lays the wood in. As such, Ciampa CHOPS! Garcia snarls as he holds onto the leg.

The fans boo as Garcia steps over for the HALF CRAB! Ciampa endures, even as Garcia sits deep! Ciampa fights to turn over, then he kicks away at Garcia. Garcia turns Ciampa back over, STF! Garcia tells Briscoe that Briscoe been talking s*it on Garcia since he lost the TNT title, and then he pie faces Briscoe! Garcia goes back to Ciampa, but Ciampa rolls him up! TWO, and Ciampa CHOPS! Ciampa whips, Garcia reverses, and Briscoe is there on the apron! Ciampa and Briscoe COLLIDE! Garcia trips Ciampa to a jackknife bridge, AND GARCIA WINS!!

Winner: Daniel Garcia, by pinfall

Garcia runs off to get away from Briscoe, but he masterfully used Briscoe and Ciampa against each other! Briscoe is upset, as is Ciampa, and they argue it out. Briscoe gets Ciampa to understand it was an accident, that was all Garcia. Briscoe asks for a handshake, and Ciampa slaps it away! The fans boo but Briscoe gets Ciampa is upset, so he’ll let it slide. Briscoe leaves, saying Ciampa just needs to cool down before he makes a mistake. Wait, FTR storms out here now? Dax told Ciampa on Wednesday that they’d see him again, and now is as good a time as any. The fans boo as Dax & Cash step into the ring, but Briscoe slides in! The fans cheer as Briscoe stands with Ciampa!

FTR now argues with Briscoe, this wasn’t his concern. Briscoe disagrees, he doesn’t want FTR thinking they can intimidate someone like that. Briscoe and Ciampa leave together, Ciampa patting Briscoe on the back for the help there. But then Ciampa says, “This is MY moment!” And he THROWS Briscoe into the LED tron! The fans freak out as Ciampa beats Briscoe down! Ciampa then takes off the kneepad and runs up, PSYCHO KNEE!! The fans boo as Ciampa wipes his butt with Briscoe’s bandana! FTR nods and applauds as their “old friend” shows his true self. Ciampa’s shadow knows his story, but is FTR now his future?

Kris Statlander sat in a stairwell of the Don Haskins Center in El Paso as she said, “I will only speak when I need to, and now I need to. Thekla. I have beaten you once. You have beaten me once. But once is not enough. Revolution. Two out of three falls. Your killing is coming, twice.” The Galaxy’s Greatest is prepared for war, but will she be able to win again, and again?

Thekla is here!

Collision returns as The Toxic Spider heads to the ring, and she’s already saying, “No no no no no no! NO~! No, no no no no no! Kris, not right now, no! I’m sorry, no! Niet! Nine! No! Absolulululutely not!” The fans boo but Thekla continues by saying, “I’m sorry. Did I miss a meeting or something? Since when does the challenger get to say what the match is, huh? Since when do I have to listen to some b*tch from outer space?” The fans boo but Thekla continues to say no, she doesn’t care, she’s not doing Two Out of Three Falls. And if you don’t like it, then kiss her toxic ass! The fans do cheer that, though.

Thekla says actually… Y’know what? “WHAT? WHAT? WHAT?” Thekla asks Kris what makes her thinks she can even beat Thekla twice in one night? What makes Kris think Thekla won’t absolutely ruin Kris’ life all over again? Kris wears sunglasses indoors now, because she can’t look Thekla in the eyes! She wears all leather now, because she wants to be like Thekla! But… But, but, but Kris, you’re right about one thing. Thunder Rrrrosa should’ve just listened to you. Because Thekla sent that perra back in a box to the graveyards of Tijuana! So, Kris, why don’t you take your own advice and quit while you’re still alive?

Because everything Kris is afraid of is EVERYTHING THEKLA IS! The Toxic Spider laughs as she hangs from the corner, but the match is now made! Thekla and Kris will battle in Best Out of 3! Who proves they can truly get the job done?

$200K Fatal 4 Way: Private Party VS The Outrunners VS The Swirl VS LFI!

While FTR will battle The Bucks for the gold at Revolution, these four teams are battling to earn the big bucks tonight! Will it be Marq Quen & Isiah Kassidy, Truth Magnum & Turbo Floyd, Blake Christian & Lee Johnson, or the returning Rush y Dralistico that get to pain the town red with all this green?

Dalton Castle joins commentary to watch his bros, and wants Nigel to understand, there’s nothing wrong with the tan ‘n’ jacked Youngest Men Alive teaming with The Peacock. The teams sort out, and in this form of Fatal 4 Way, only two teams are legal. Vanilla Baby starts against Truth, and he mocks the Outrunner spin while wearing their sunglasses. The fans boo but Truth gets them pumped up. The fans rally as Truth and Blake circle. They tie up, Blake headlocks, but Truth powers up and out. Blake escapes the scoop and hurries to tag Lee Johnson. Big Shotty storms up but Truth slips around. Lee headlocks but Truth powers up and out.

Blake HIP DROPS Zay, then drags him over to bump off buckles. Blake fires hands, tags Lee, and now Lee stomps a mudhole in! Lee stands on Zay, tags Blake, and Blake stomps Zay. Blake stands on Zay, but steps off as the ref counts. The other teams rally the fans while Blake tags back in. Zay fires forearms on Blake, reaches for Quen, repeat. Collision returns to single picture as Blake DECKS Zay, then Blake BLASTS Quen! Zay crawls but Blake hurries to waistlock.

Zay fights up, reaches out, and he ELBOWS free! But Blake CLUBS Zay, then BLASTS The Outrunners! But Zay BACKDROPS Blake! Hot tag to Turbo! The fans fire up as The Outrunners rally on everyone else! Castle says they can’t be stopped! They’re unstoppable! Scoop SLAM after scoop SLAM, and Castle says you can’t stop a river as it flows into the sea! The fans are just as fired up, and The Outrunners intercept Blake on the top rope! They go up, and Turbo aims for the outside?! The fans fire up for the SUPERPLEX onto the cluster! The fans fire up as Turbo wipes out The Swirl, Private Party, AND LFI!

The Outrunners get Blake in the ring, then wind it up, but Rush y Dralistico DOUBLE DECK The Outrunners! The fans boo, but Zay tags in again! Zay springboards, LFI dodges, but Zay rebounds. Backstage interview with JetSpeed.

Lexy Nair is with Kevin Knight & “Speedball” Mike Bailey, and notes that it was a rough week. Kevin Knight had not just one but two title matches on Wednesday, how is he recovering? Knight says that was one of the hardest nights in his career, because he was within inches of becoming a NEW AEW World Champion. For 13 seconds, MJF was looking up at The Jet. Jet knows there will be other opportunities for him in the future. He just can’t help but feel like he let his team down when he lost the AEW World Trios Championships for them. Speedball says no, they lost as a team. And while they appreciate Hangman’s help, Hangman’s situation with MJF did complicate things.

But it’s all good, because at Revolution, JetSpeed gets to team with lucha libre legend, MISTICO! They will take back those trios titles from the Don Callis Family! Speaking of title matches, Bailey gets his shot at the TNT Championship this Wednesday, is Bailey prepared for that? Bailey says he doesn’t feel prepared, he IS prepared. He knows he has what it takes to hold two titles, and he knows what it takes to beat Kyle Fletcher. He’s done it before, he can do it again! Bailey vows to take the pretty in pink title from The Protostar! But now Swerve & Nana step into the room. Nana suggests Lexy takes a break before someone gets hurt.

Lexy excuses herself, and Swerve asks if Bailey knows what it takes, then why doesn’t Knight? Because every time Knight has his foot on the neck of his opponent, he never applies pressure. Let this be the last piece of advice Swerve ever gives Knight: If Knight wants to walk amongst killers, if he wants to compete with killers, he has to become a killer. Swerve & Nana head out but JetSpeed doesn’t get Swerve’s beef. But will Bailey be bringing “Pinkie” with him to Los Angeles when they and the face of CMLL battle Okada, Fletcher & Davis?

Mark Briscoe speaks.

The Chicken has recovered backstage, and he says,” Tommaso Ciampa, man, I done known you for a long time now. And I got to be honest with you, man, ever since you been here in AEW, something ain’t felt right. Something’s felt off, man. That is until tonight, when you did what you did. You back-jumped me. That’s the Tommaso that I was expecting. That’s the Tommaso that I remember. Y’know, shame on me for not trusting my instincts. Shame on me for letting my guard down. But Tommaso, dammit, shame on you for back-jumping me like a coward. Shame on you for aligning yourself with these two men who I used to have the utmost respect for, FTR.

“But now they just some bastards! People will call FTR, me and my brother, The Briscoe brothers, unapologetically, the baddest tag teams of all time. They would call FTR our greatest rivals! So now, Tommaso, you done aligned yourself with these fellas. How do we make this work out mathematically? That brings to mind some of the other greatest rivals of me and my brother’s. There’s a couple other fellas I just got off to phone with just a minute ago, matter o’ fact. We been talkin’ ’bout it, we decided, why don’t we just do this Wednesday night? Why don’t we just do this on Dynamite? Trios action, baby! Let’s do FTR & Tommaso Ciampa VS… DEM BUCKS!”

The Chicken and the Jacksons have common enemies now, so why not just destroy them all together at once? But will Briscoe & The Bucks stampede all over San Jose? Or will Ciampa & FTR make sure no one will survive?

Six Man Tag: The Dogs VS Cosmo Orion, GMO Kaminari & Jaden Monroe!

David Finlay is not just #AllElite, but he is still leading the pack as he, Gabe Kidd & Clark Connors are ready to rip and tear through everyone in their path. Will The Star Chaser, The Hero Of Heroes, and Money Monroe be nothing more than chew toys for The Dogs?

Collision returns as Toni storms back out on stage.

And she is angrily repeating, “Enough! Enough! Enough!” The fans cheer Toni as she calls out Marina! “All you do is talk about competition. So why is it that the only one with the set of ovaries who is willing to fight alone is Jon bloody Moxley?! Marina, we are going to Hollywood land, and this is what I want! Everyone, EVERYONE, banned from ringside! Just you, and me, and nobody to stop us!” The fans cheer that! “And then I want my AEW Women’s World Championship back!” The fans like that, too! Toni says, “Chin up, tits out, and I’ll see and ONLY you (Marina) at Revolution!” The fans are ready, but is The Problem about to be solved?

There’s a NEW CMLL Women’s World Champion!

It was just last night in Arena Mexico that Mercedes Mone battled Persephone, and in an instant classic, it was the Goddess of the Underworld that defeated The CEO! The Money Train is starting to lose its cargo, will Mone be able to keep what little she has left? And as for Persephone, she’s getting a shot at the TBS Championship this Wednesday in San Jose! Will Perse be adding to her collection? Or can Willow make sure she’s the only double champion around here?

Konosuke Takeshita VS Claudio Castagnoli!

It was back in December during the Continental Classic that the then IWGP World Heavyweight Champion battled the CMLL World Heavyweight Champion to a time limit draw! The Alpha may not be a world champion, but he’s the NEW NJPW World (as in the website) Television Champion, meaning he knows how to win in under 15 minutes. With Revolution on the horizon, can Konosuke also prove he can defeat Moxley’s right hand man? Or will the Swiss Cyborg terminate Takeshita before he gets the chance?

The bell rings, the two circle, and the fans rally up. The two tie up, are in a deadlock, and Konosuke clinches, Claudio wrenches to then wrangle Konosuke to the mat. Claudio wants the top wristlock but Konosuke clasps hands. They both fight up, Claudio powers Konosuke to that top wristlock and wrangles Konosuke again. Konosuke fights up, trips Claudio, and steps over for the toehold. The fans rally as Claudio works on his escape, only for Konosuke to put on the pressure. Konosuke floats to a headlock, Claudio rolls to a cover, ONE! Claudio facelocks and powers Konosuke to a corner, but Konosuke turns that around.

The ref counts, Konosuke and Claudio let go slowly, and the fans applaud the clean break. But then Claudio sucker punches Konosuke! The fans boo but Claudio whisp Konosuke into the corner. Claudio UPPERCUTS, then whips corner to corner, only for Konosuke to reverse and HELLUVA KICK! Konosuke climbs up to rain down fists! The fans cheer and count, but Claudio HOTSHOTS Konosuke before even getting five! The fans rally but Claudio stomps Konosuke. Claudio stomps and stomps but the fans boo. Claudio stops as the ref counts, and he drags Konosuke up. Claudio headlocks, Konosuke endures, and Konosuke powers up and out.

The fans rally as things speed up, but Claudio catches Konosuke’s hurdle! Konosuke slips free, shoves, then drops down to CALF KICK! The fans fire up again while Claudio bails out. Konosuke goes after Claudio, but Claudio HOTSHOTS the arm! Konosuke clutches the arm while Claudio storms back in. Claudio steps on Konosuke’s arm, to then STOMP it! The fans boo but Claudio headlocks. Konosuke powers up and out and the two RAM shoulders! The fans cheer as they go again and RAM shoulders! Claudio runs to RAM Konosuke, Konosuke rebounds to RAM Claudio, and repeat! They stare down, then Claudio CLAWS Konosuke’s eyes!

The fans boo and the ref reprimands but Claudio runs, to RUN Konosuke over! And he DOUBLE STOMPS the arm! The fans boo but Claudio eggs Konosuke on. Claudio drags Konosuke up, whips him to the corner, then runs in, but into an ELBOW! Claudio comes back, but Konosuke BOOTS him! Konosuke goes up to FLYING RANA! Even Moxley is surprised seeing that. Konosuke has Claudio back on the apron, and he dribbles Claudio off buckles! Konosuke stops at five to then go to the other side and dribble Claudio off those buckles! They try to stop this, but there’s no stopping Death Riders VS Don Callis Family!

Fans want to “LET THEM FIGHT!” and fighting is what happens! Collision has used up all the overrun, they gotta go off the air! But will this fighting go all the way to San Jose?

My Thoughts:

A great Collision here, though still with some clunky things going towards Revolution. Awesome opening match with FTR VS Rascalz, but as I said on Dynamite, Rascalz weren’t winning, the Revolution match was going to stay FTR VS Bucks. Good segue from that to Ciampa VS Garcia with Briscoe on commentary, but the entire set-up for the turn seemed odd in retrospect. Why turn Ciampa so soon? Or did they just want an excuse to do the Six Man Tag for the go-home? The Six Man Tag will still be great, and Ciampa VS Briscoe as a feud will still be great, but it feels like another pacing problem from Tony Khan.

Something else that was clunky tonight was how we got to #MegaKross VS Love Bombs. The promo where Megan & Lena attack Willow & Harley was half-baked. Why could we hear security like just off to the side if they weren’t going to get in there for like a good minute? I get with EVE Wrestling holding Wrestling Queendom right now, Willow & Harley could only stay for a moment before they go right back to the UK. But they could’ve still figured out better framing on this promo. I suppose that’s what “long term booking” would entail, or TK having others helping manage this stuff. Definitely the latter.

As for Megan & Lena VS Love Bombs, that was a very good match for the first time Megan & Lena teamed on TV. I should’ve expected Marina would interfere, and we got a good promo from Toni to follow. Toni VS Marina will be great stuff, and as Toni said herself, this could propel her back to the world title. Or on the flipside, it’ll send Marina after that title. It all depends on how the world title match goes. Kris had a good promo to issue the challenge, and Thekla had a good promo in response, but it seems silly that Thekla first says no, but then convinces herself that she should say yes. Either way, two outta three falls will be a great blowoff.

Swerve putting Gravity away pretty handedly was good, but I expected him to “go too far” at some point and bring out Brodido. We get a good promo from Swerve with JetSpeed, and the news of Mistico & JetSpeed VS Okada, Fletcher & Davis is great. That trios title match will be great, but I can’t be sure the odds of JetSpeed winning that. I wouldn’t mind if The Rascalz went after the trios titles afterward so that Myron Reed gets more in-ring time. As for Swerve’s words to Knight, I wonder if Knight leaves JetSpeed to join this new Embassy that Nana’s towels keep teasing. Knight could benefit from that change, allowing him to go for singles titles.

As I’ve said before, I’m not a fan of the kayfabe prize money matches, because they never add anything into kayfabe afterward. That said, this Fatal 4 Way tag was a great match, a great showing from all the teams, and a great win for Private Party. If any team is going to spend the kayfabe money, it’ll be Private Party so that they can throw a massive party. And that better be their promo for either next week’s Dynamite or even the go-home Collision. And depending on who wins the tag titles for Revolution, I would hope Private Party comes back around to challenge for those titles for Dynasty. Though with Private Party as Faces, feels like FTR will be that team…

The Dogs didn’t just get a great squash match, they annihilated those guys. If Darby & Cassidy are to take on The Dogs, they’re gonna need a third man. With Briscoe busy with Ciampa and Ishii out with a bad neck, either Roddy turns back to being Conglomeration after all, or Hologram is back from injury. I haven’t heard word about the latter, or even Kyle O’Reilly for that matter, so they mighty have no choice but to un-turn Roddy. Or they just keep at 2v2 and the odd Dog out is the cornerman that screws Darby & Cassidy over. But they still haven’t even let Finlay talk yet, so I think we need to hear from The Savage King so AEW-only fans understand why he’s a big deal.

Konosuke VS Claudio was an awesome main event, as we knew it would, because Claudio and Konosuke are on that level where they just don’t have bad matches. I did appreciate Hechi being the one to counter Claudio trying to cheat, that’s clearly a CMLL World Heavyweight Championship match in the making. Great win for Konosuke to have momentum going towards Revolution, and great brawl to close out the show like that. We might even get a tag match for the go-home out of this. Moxley VS Konosuke is still going to be awesome, who knows which way it goes.

My Score: 8.9/10

The ref checks on both men and they’re both able to continue. Knight and MJF stir as the ring count begins, and Knight stands at 5 of 10. Knight rolls in, but just to refresh the count. Champion’s Advantage means he has to win this with MJF in the ring. Knight drags MJF up but MJF pokes him in the eyes! The ref reprimands but MJF whips Knight into the steel steps! Knight clutches his ribs again, but now MJF rips protective padding away from the railing. Dynamite returns to single picture as MJF drags Knight up and whips him into the railing! But MJF TOSSES the ref, because he aims with the Dynamite Diamond Ring! BUT WAIT! Hangman is here! The Cowboy tells MJF to back down now, but MJF dares Hangman to do something about it! Hangman doesn’t have to, because “Speedball” Mike Bailey is in the ring! THRUST KICK! MJF falls right to the floor and the fans cheer! Darby Allin & Orange Cassidy VS The Dogs!

The Relentless One promised Gabe Kidd & Clark Connors, this doesn’t end with him six feet under, this ends with him putting them down! Freshly Squeezed joined the fight on behalf of Tomohiro Ishii, but will he and Darby put an end to the Mad Man & 100 Proof? Or will they not be as #WarReady as these Dogs?

Well, speaking of being ready, Darby & Cassidy don’t exactly wait for Gabe & Clark to get in the ring! Darby & Cassidy take the fight to them right at the ramp! The fans fire up but the ref reprimands as all four throw hands! Then Connors throws Cassidy into barriers! Gabe whips Darby into steel steps! Darby flounders away, Connors CLUBS Cassidy along, then throws more hands! Gabe takes those steel steps, pushes them around towards the timekeeper’s area, then drags Darby up. Gabe drags Darby up, FISHERMAN BUSTER! Gabe shouts that he already said, stop playing with him! Gabe soaks up heat on the corner, Connors rises up to join in, but Dynamite goes to picture in picture.

Cassidy is being checked by Doc Sampson, he might not be as okay as he thought. Gabe stands Darby up to CHOKE him into the corner! The ref counts, Gabe stops at 4, then he UPPERCUTS Darby down! Gabe talks more trash on the fans while Connors watches Cassidy crawling to ringside. Connors drags Cassidy up to whip him hard into railing! Connors soaks up heat while Cassidy writhes. Gabe stalks Darby to a corner, mocks the fans all cheering Darby on, then runs up to UPPERCUT Darby down! Gabe then digs his boots in, shouting and taunting Darby the whole time, then backs off as the ref counts 4.

Gabe argues with the ref, then waits on Darby to get up. Gabe gives Darby a junkyard dog headbutt! And then another! Cover, TWO! Darby toughs it out but Gabe tags Connors. Connors talks his time walking over to Darby, then stands him up to snap suplex! Cover, TWO! Darby stays in this but Connors stays between him and the corner. Cassidy flounders over but Connors tells him to just stay down. Connors then stands on Darby’s head, but steps off as the ref counts. Gabe CHOKES Darby while Finlay struts around. Connors HAMMERS Cassidy, but Finlay tells them to get these boys back up. Connors & Gabe stand Darby up so Finlay can look him in the eyes. Then he CRACKS Darby with the shillelagh again! Will nothing stop The Dogs now that their pack leader is All Elite?

Backstage interview with Bandido and Andrade El Idolo.

Renee Paquette is with The Most Wanted and the Real Latino Man, and says BREAKING NEWS for Revolution! For the first-time-ever, we get Bandido VS Andrade! Renee asks Bandido want having this dream match means to him. Bandido says it means so much to him. He grew up watching Andrade in his hometown, so now, he gets to have Andrade as an opponent. March 15th, it will be a dream come true. Andrade tells Bandido that he hears Bandido is one of the best Mexican wrestlers alive! But what he’s seeing… This is just a fan! Does he want to fight? Or does he want a selfie? Maybe they can take one now.

Andrade takes out his phone, but it turns out someone is calling him. See you at Revolution. Andrade walks off to answer the call, but will he learn the hard way to take Bandido seriously?

The Brawling Birds VS The IInspiration!

Jamie Hayter & Alex Windsor may not have started as teammates or even friends, but teaming up these past few weeks seems to have helped that. However, Jessie McKay & Cassie Lee have always been friends, they’ve always been iconic, and now they’re All Elite! Who will step up, step back, and step aside as these two teams collide?

The IInspiration tells production to keep the music going, they wanna groove to Harley Cameron singing it. The fans don’t mind it, but The Birds ain’t having it! Jamie & Alex storm in and SMACK The IInspiration off buckles! The fans are torn as Jamie HAMMERS Cassie and Alex fires hands on Jessie! The ref wants them to sort out but Jamie whips Cassie into Jessie, then The Birds DOUBLE CHOP! And DOUBLE CHOP again, and again! The fans fire up as The Birds wind it up, for a DOUBLE DOUBLE CHOP! Then they CATAPULT Jessie into the HAYTBREAKER! Then a feed to Alex’s LARIAT! Cassie storms up but into kicks!

The Birds DOUBLE SUPLEX Cassie away, and the fans cheer The Birds. The IInspiration regroups, they ask for a timeout, but they realize they’re surrounded! The Birds run in, DOUBLE LARIAT SANDWICH! Jessie falls, Alex picks Cassie up, and Hayter runs for the truest TWO BIRDS ONE STONE!! Double cover, The Birds win!

Winners: The Brawling Birds, by pinfall

The IInspiration might be All Elite, but they just realized what that means! The Birds made quite an impact tonight, will they be next in line for the AEW Women’s World Tag Team Championships?

Hangman Page VS Marty Snow!

The Cowboy is already in a good mood after seeing MJF get kicked in the face. But good mood aside, will Snow not have a snowball’s chance in Hell of winning against him?

The bell rings and both men run up, only for Hangman to BOOT Snow down! Then Hangman goes right to the apron, slingshot and BUCKSHOT! Cover, HANGMAN WINS!

Winner: Hangman Page, by pinfall

Did that just set a record!? Hangman puts his jacket back on and grabs a mic to say, “Hey, look. I’ma make this short, cuz his ass ain’t the one I wanted to beat tonight. MAX! I have put my entire future at stake for the chance to do what your parents should’ve done nearly 30 years ago, and taught you a lesson. For years, you have sneered and you have scoffed at me for having what I think is a basic human conscience. But let me warn you: In Texas Death, I have no conscience! Max, I will rip you, I will tear you, and I will only let you lie when I am finished with you. And Max, you are the world champion, so surely, that doesn’t scare you.

“You’ve already shown that you are itching to punch someone in the head with your diamond ring, so why don’t you slip it back on your pinkie, get your dumbass out here now, and show me what good that will do you at Revolution!” The fans cheer that, but MJF says, “Alright, alright, pipe down, pipe down. It’s bad enough I gotta be in this C Tier town, El Paso. But clearly, clearly you’re not very bright, Hangman! Did you not just see me beat your boy, Kevin Knight’s ass? Huh? You all saw it, right? It’s bad enough I gotta listen to you yap next week at the press conference, don’t make me come down there and whoop your ass, too, Cowboy.”

The fans boo, but Hangman says if he’s not gonna do it, then- OH NO! Kyle Fletcher, Kazuchika Okada, and Mark Davis attack Hangman!! The fans boo but MJF gets to smile at Hangman’s pain now. Davis has an ANKLE LOCK on Hangman while Okada & Fletcher stomp away on Hangman! They get Hangman up, CHOKE him on the ropes, then Davis hits the REBOUNDER! The fans boo but Kyle mockingly asks if Hangman liked that. But here comes JetSpeed! Bailey & Knight run the Don Callis Family’s heavy hitters with chairs, but then the Jackal himself appears! Accompanied by Lance Archer, Callis has a mic in hand.

The fans cuss Callis out, but he says, “I have something important to say!” The fans boo, but Callis says he sees Jet Set Rodeo in the ring, and he sees three champions, but he also sees three greedy, entitled Millennial punks! It’s not enough that they have the trios titles, but Hangman wants the world title, Knight wants Okada’s International title, and Speedball, “you little French Canadian puke,” wants after the great Kyle Fletcher and his TNT title. How much is enough? One thing Callis hates is a greedy guy. All he’s heard is about what Jet Set Rodeo wants, but he wants us all to be quiet so he can talk. The fans just boo harder! Callis says be quiet so he can tell you what CALLIS wants!

Callis couldn’t help but hear on Collision last Saturday, what was the term they used? “Any place, any time.” Jet Set Rodeo said they’d defend those titles any place and any time. Well, he has a very important to announcement! See, when he heard that, he got to thinking. He just recently left a conversation with Tony Khan. So any place, any time? The place is EL PASO! The time is TONIGHT’S MAIN EVENT! The AEW World Trios Champions WILL defend those titles against Mark Davis, Kyle Fletcher & Kazuchika Okada! And after they beat Jet Set Rodeo, the trios titles will belong to DON BAH GAWD CALLIS!!

The fans boo, but the fight IS official! Knight is already banged up from losing to MJF, can he, Bailey & Hangman possibly survive Dunkzilla, Protostar & Rainmaker?

Sit-down interview with The Young Bucks and FTR.

Renee Paquette is already in the boardroom with Matt & Nick Jackson, Brandon Cutler helping film this, but they’re the only ones on time. How’re they feeling? Nick says he’s a bit beat up, but- Oh, now Cash Wheeler, Dax Harwood & Stokely Hathaway arrive, #BigStoke still in his wheelchair. Stoke asks Renee to move over for him. Renee obliges though The Bucks take offense. Renee has everyone calm down, they already signed the No Physicality Agreement for this. Dax says he’s fine, it’s on The Bucks. The AEW World Tag Team Champions take their seats, and Dax says it’s wild to think about. The greatest tag teams of the 21st Century: The Briscoes, The Bucks, and FTR.

Now, FTR bested The Briscoes two-outta-three, and FTR are #DemBoys’ greatest rivals, so… Dax’s thought is, when they best The Bucks again at Revolution, FTR goes down as THE greatest tag team of the millennium! Cash points out that FTR are THREE-TIME AEW World Tag Team Champions, but The Bucks are also THREE-TIME AEW World Tag Team Champions, so Revolution will finally be chapter closed, book finished, only one will be the best. Nick says yeah, okay, we can go back and forth about accomplishments, but this time is a little different. And do they know why? Because FTR put their hands on the Jackson family!

FTR hit a piledriver on their brother! FTR pushed and shoved their parents! Cash claims self-defense, but Nick knows that’s crap. At Revolution, it won’t be only about winning the titles back, but about revenge for their family! Matt brings up how The Jackson Family was simply ringside when FTR did what they did. Matt’s kids, Nick’s kids, how they felt, it is taking The Bucks everything they have in their souls to not just reach across this desk and beat the living SH*T outta FTR! But it’s okay, it’s okay. They won’t do that now.

No, they’ll do that in Los Angeles at Revolution, in front of their family so they can see The Bucks destroy FTR and leave them in a puddle of piss and blood, when The Bucks take the titles for a record breaking fourth time! Cash says he hopes the family is there, too. Then FTR can teach them another lesson! Things get heated again, Renee has them calm down again, but Cash say The Bucks are clearly not mature enough to handle this rationally. FTR will show themselves out and remove themselves from this troubling situation. Dax says The Bucks are so lucky about the No Physicality Agreement. But uh, Cutler wasn’t part of it.

Dax DECKS Cutler!! The Bucks are angry again, but they check on Cutler. FTR keeps turning up the heat, but will they be the ones burned?

AEW Continental Championship Eliminator: Jon Moxley VS Hechicero!

The Maniac is still set for his match with The Alpha in Los Angeles, and he already crossed CLØN off the list. Will Moxley do the same to The Alchemist? Or will Hechicero have just the right formula to turn opportunity into a golden ticket?

While Moxley makes his entrance, Marina Shafir is talking right into the camera. She’s daring Toni Storm to find her and “make me laugh.” The Problem wants a fight with the Timeless One, will she get it?

The bell rings and the fans rally as the two circle. Hechi dazzles with his magic, then he and Moxley feel out the knuckle lock. Hechi rolls, has the top wristlock, but Moxley hooks a leg to trip Hechi. Hechi keeps his shoulders up and goes for a leg. Hechi drags Moxley down, then drags him back to tie up the legs, and ELBOW DROP on the back! Hechi scuffs Moxley but that just makes Moxley mad. The fans rally as the two go again, and Moxley takes the knuckle lock and puts it on the mat to STOMP the hand! Moxley mocks the magic, then he and Hechi reset. They circle, Hechi shoots in for a leg and trips Moxley, then they roll.

Hechi floats to a headlock but Moxley rolls to a cover, ONE! Hechi shifts to a facelock to gator roll, then hooks a leg into a ghost pin, ONE! Moxley has a cover, ONE! Both men stand and the fans fire up again. They knuckle lock, Moxley shoots in and gets a leg to trip Hechi. Moxley pushes his way to a cover, ONE, but Moxley clamps onto an arm. Hechi endures the double wristlock, then headscissors. Hechi drags Moxley down and stands to NECK TWIST! Moxley writhes while the fans duel. Moxley checks his neck while he stands, and the two circle. Hechi CHOPS, but Moxley CHOPS in return! Hechi shoves Moxley, Moxley shoves Hechi.

Hechi LARIATS but Moxley stays up! Hechi frowns but he eggs Moxley on. Moxley LARIATS Hechi, so Hechi rebounds to RAM Moxley! Moxley RAMS Hechi! Hechi RAMS Moxley again, but Moxley RAMS back! Hechi kicks, JABS, then ROCKS Moxley. Hechi puts Moxley in a corner, wraps his arm around the ropes, and YANKS the arm! The ref reprimands but Hechi climbs up to rain down fists! The fans count in Espanol, and Hechi dazzles at nueve to- NO, Moxley BITES Hechi’s fingers! Moxley turns things around, he rains down fists, and the fans count in English, all the way to TEN! Moxley then whips corner to corner, runs in, and LARIATS!

Moxley whips but Hechi sunset flips! Moxley rolls through but Hechi steps over to have the ARMBAR! The fans rally as Moxley endures, but Hechi stomps his face! Moxley endures while the fans duel, but Hechi lets go to stand Moxley up. Hechi CHOPS, whips corner to corner, but Moxley reverses. Hechi goes up and out, then blocks a shot to HOTSHOT the bad arm! Hechi goes up the corner, but Moxley ROCKS him! Hechi fights back, shoves Moxley away, then FLYING LARIATS! Cover, TWO! Moxley survives and bails out of the ring while Dynamite goes picture in picture.

Moxley rests against the desk but Hechi goes out to ROCK him! And CLUB away on his chest! Hechi then brings Moxley around to whip into the barriers! Moxley takes a seat while Hechi revels in the cheers. Hechi runs back in and BOOTS Moxley against the railing! Hechi then brings Moxley up, but Moxley CHOPS, CHOPS, CHOPS! Hechi kicks low, UPPERCUTS, then follows Moxley back into the ring. Hechi clamps on a chinlock and squeezes tight. Moxley endures, pries at the hold, but Hechi traps an arm. Hechi pushes Moxley around, steps over the arm, and traps it for a STOMP! Moxley writhes but Hechi brings him back up.

Hechi has Moxley on the ropes, wraps the arm through the ropes, then pulls! Hechi CLUBS away on the arm until the ref counts 4. Hechi lets go, but he keeps Moxley against the ropes to ELBOW him in the back! Hechi puts Moxley in a corner to CHOP, then brings him around. Hechi snap suplexes Moxley down, then eggs him on. Moxley snarls as Hechi sits him up and rains down fists! Hechi ELBOWS Moxley in the head, then stalks him to the ropes. Hechi CHOKES Moxley, CLUBS him again and again, then stops as the ref counts. Hechi brings Moxley back up, spins him around, and reels him in as Dynamite returns to single picture.

Winner: Jon Moxley, by pinfall (denies Hechicero a title opportunity)

Moxley dares the Don Callis Family to keep bringing it! Well speaking of, Konosuke Takeshita appears! The Alpha will still have his turn at Revolution, but will Moxley be worse for wear when AEW finally returns to Los Angeles?

Brody King is here!

The King of Death doesn’t really worry about his entrance music, he just grabs a mic on his way into the ring. El Paso barks with him before he says, “SWERVE! You know, I could be like you. I could stand on that announce table for half an hour, telling everybody just how dangerous I am. But I don’t need to do that, because I KNOW that I am the most dangerous man in AEW! So why don’t you get your ass out here and I can prove that tonight!” The fans like that idea! But Prince Nana shows up to tell Brody, “I hear you, alright? I hear you loud and clear. But are you sure you wanna do this, my friend? Are you sure you wanna go down that rabbit hole with the man himself? Are you sure about that, Brody?”

Brody says quit talking, Nana, and bring Swerve’s ass out here. Nana laughs and says okay. “Without further interruption, ladies and gentlemen… May I introduce to you the REAL Most Dangerous Man in AEW… SWERVE! STRICKLAND!” Nana laughs an evil laugh while the music begins, but Swerve doesn’t enter from the stage! HE ATTACKS FROM BEHIND! Swerve uses his chain to BEAT BRODY DOWN! The fans boo but Swerve just hits a HOUSE CALL!! Swerve then picks his chain back up, and he wraps it around Brody’s neck! The fans boo as Swerve CHOKES Brody, then links the chain to the rope!

The fans boo as Swerve then drags Brody up with the chain to CHOKE him!! Brody flails and sputters as he turns red, and Swerve just mocks the barking! Swerve tells Brody, “You know how you chain a dog up? Just like this! I had to send a message to Kenny Omega. Now I gotta send that same message to you. All of the AEW roster is on notice. It’s one thing talking about being the Most Dangerous Man, it’s another actually doing it! And I’m about that action. So guess what? I will be seeing you in LA at Revolution! For your information, and a little reminder, I humbled a man in LA, too.” But then BANDIDO runs out here!

Swerve gets clear before The Outlaw can get at him! The fans boo Swerve but he just smiles seeing what he did to Brody. Will Swerve do far worse to put Brody down for good?

The Death Riders speak.

Daniel Garcia says that’s what they like every single week! Don Callis Family, are you stupid or are you dumb? When you gonna stop picking fights you cannot win!? Wheeler Yuta has Garcia step aside, and Yuta shows off the bald head. “Get a good look, okay?! Losing my hair was the darkest moment of my career. But the Death Riders are the reason I’m not wallowing in my misery. They’re the reason I’m prepared every day for war! Cuz I know when I walk in that arena, and there are thousands of people screaming hurtful, mean, terrible things at me, trying to kick my ass, I know the people I care about most in the world have my back. Through loss, I have freedom.”

Marina then calls out Toni Storm again. “You better shoot from the hip and make me laugh, for your sake. You p*ssy!” Moxley says they all are, aren’t there? A bunch of punk asses! Don Callis Family, CMLL, was THAT the baddest hombre you got? NJPW, all these advertising agencies that got into pro-wrestling! NOBODY does it like they do! No team is like this team! No one is willing to go as long and as far as them! Takeshita, at Revolution, it’s just you and Moxley. And they’re gonna go as long as it takes. They’re gonna see this through all the way to the end. The Death Riders head out, will they take everyone out along the way?

AEW Women’s World Championship: Thekla VS Thunder Rosa!

Part one of what has now become a DOUBLE main event is about to begin! The Toxic Spider snatched the title from Kris Statlander, but La Mera Mera stepped into this fight to avenge her. Will Rosa take back the title she never truly lost? Or has she already fallen for the trap?

Winner: Thekla, by pinfall (still AEW Women’s World Champion)

Rosa brought the fight, but she could not bring home the gold! To her credit, Thekla did this all by herself, and the Sisters of Sin are here to celebrate. But then Kris Statlander shows up, making sure they don’t try anything. Security rushes out here to keep this from popping off, but Thekla just CURB STOMPS Rosa again!! The fans boo, and Kris CHUCKS a guard aside! Kris storms into the ring but Thekla’s already in retreat! The Cosmic Killer couldn’t protect Rosa, but will she be the one to avenge her now?

Jack Perry speaks.

“Last week, to cap off Mile High Madness, I pinned Ricochet for the third time. Now, every time the odds have been even, I beat you. But every time that it’s really counted, instead of fighting me man to man, you and The Gates of Agony have found a way to cheat. We both won battles. Pretty soon, it’s gonna be time for you and I to finish the war.”

Ricochet responds.

The One & Only tells Jack to listen: “Ya boi been jet-setting! I am the most fighting champion in AEW, brother! So if it’s a fight that you want, if it’s a war that you want, then a war you got. Because when you are in Demand, you can make demands.” Kaun adds, “And if you don’t meet our demands…” Toa Liona finishes with, “YOU GET PUT DOWN!” AHA~! Then when and where will Ricochet and Jack Perry finally settle the score?

On-stage interview with Tommaso Ciampa.

Renee Paquette introduces the Psycho Killer, and El Paso cheers as he makes his entrance. Ciampa is fired up like his pyro, and Renee says he has been so impressive here in AEW. An instant classic with Mark Briscoe to win the AEW TNT Championship, and then he unfortunately lost that title to Kyle Fletcher. What does Ciampa plan to do to get back on top? Ciampa says let’s address the elephant in the room that is Kyle Fletcher. He took the title, he renamed it from Silvey to Pinkie, and gave her a makeover without Ciampa’s consent. Now Fletcher is hiding behind the Don Callis Family, hiding in tag matches and trios matches.

“Because Kyle Fletcher knows the second we run back Fletcher VS Ciampa, you are looking at your NEW TNT Champion.” The fans cheer that! Ciampa says if he has to play games, he’ll play games. And if that means he has to earn a rematch, he’ll do that. If that means he goes to war with Mark Briscoe one more time, he’ll do that, too. But make no mistake, he didn’t come to AEW for “instant classics.” He came here to be a top guy! The fans cheer that, and Renee brings up the history with Mark Briscoe. They go way back- Wait, FTR interrupts. Ciampa sighs and the fans boo as Cash & Dax make their way out.

Dax stares Ciampa down, then hugs him? Cash hugs him, too? Dax says they’re only here to welcome an old friend to AEW! And earlier, Ciampa said he wants to be a top guy? Well, what better way than to surround yourself with these Top Guys. Dax will extend an olive branch to Ciampa like he’s never done before. Dax would love if Ciampa would join them and take over AEW. The fans boo that idea, but Dax says c’mon, old friend. Ciampa says yeah, “old friend,” just what he was thinking. Because Ciampa hated FTR’s guts ten years ago, and he still hates them today. But no, hey, quiet, Stokely, the grown-ups are talking.

Dax has Ciampa hold on. It doesn’t matter how good of friends they were or were not, you do NOT speak to #BigStoke like that. And if Ciampa has a problem with Stoke, then he has a problem with FTR. Ciampa understands earlier tonight, FTR signed their No Physicality with The Bucks, but uh… Ciampa didn’t. He SMACKS Dax! Cash gets in Ciampa’s face but Dax has him back off! The fans cheer, but FTR cools down. Dax says he is not mad at Ciampa. But see you on Saturday. The AEW World Tag Team Champions already got on the wrong side of the Psycho Killer, but will Dax the Ax cut him down? Or will Ciampa make sure no one will survive this Collision?

Toni Storm has a cameraman follow her.

She busts into the medical trainer’s room and asks “Citrus Boy” what those Dogs did to him. Cassidy says, “A lot. Pretty sure I got put through a table, hit in the face with a shillelagh… Those dudes just wanna fight. And if they want to fight, then Darby and I will fight them. We’ll fight them at Revolution. But that’s not for another couple weeks, so we’re also gonna fight next week. And then we’ll fight all the weeks after that. We’ll fight, we’ll just fight ’em.” Toni says that’s well said, Clementine. But hear this! Where there are War Dogs, there are Death Riders not far behind.

So then there’s no better behind to be behind than her behind “if you’re a nicotine-chewing Nancy who wants her lips twisted, and her face fisted! Got it?!” Cassidy says, “Yeah…?” Now, can’t you tell he’s indisposed? Begone! The camera feed cuts, but will nothing and no one stop the TIMELESS Conglomeration from overcoming everyone in their way?

BREAKING NEWS for Collision!

Since Moxley has been facing Don Callis Family members again and again, Konosuke Takeshita proves he can take on Death Riders, too! The Alpha will battle Claudio Castagnoli this Saturday, will the NEW NJPW World TV Champion earn a golden ticket on the way to Revolution? Plus, after choking out Brody King, Swerve Strickland looks to send a message to Bandido, as well! Swerve takes on Bandido’s brother, Gravity! Will the Most Dangerous Man bring Gravity back down to earth?

And then, FTR’s focus on The Young Bucks might cost them again as The Rascalz have called their shot! They want the AEW World Tag Team Championships this Saturday! Will Dezmond Xavier & Zachary Wentz turn everything upside-down in Tucson? Or will Cash & Dax leave them high ‘n’ dry in the desert?

While Hangman has been dead set on taking back the AEW World Championship, Kevin Knight & Mike Bailey have been talking up wanting a lot more gold. The fans are thunderous, but here comes Okada and Davis! Jet Set Rodeo catches them first, and JSR puts DCF in corners! The fans cheer as they all rain down fists! The fans count all the way to TEN! That’s a nice thirty total, and then JSR TOSSES DCF out! Hangman PLANCHAS to knock Davis down! Bailey FLIES out onto Okada! Knight powers through but Kyle stops the slingshot! Kyle drags Knight up and out to then ROCKET LAUNCH him onto the railing! The fans go nuts, and Okada RAMS Hangman into more railing, all as Dynamite goes picture in picture!

MJF smiles and applauds his handywork as he costs Hangman and his friends. But will screwing Hangman over only add to the torture MJF is going to suffer through? And as for The Don Callis Family, will they continue to collect belt after belt until they reign over all of AEW?

My Thoughts:

A great Dynamite here, but AEW wouldn’t need to use the overrun every single week if they didn’t try to do EVERYTHING, even unnecessary promos, every single week! The show’s flow was doing so well, until FTR and The Bucks had their meeting in the boardroom. FTR are great in the ring but lately, their promos grind things to a halt. And what did this add other than FTR sucker punching Brandon Cutler? We know The Bucks are upset about FTR going after their family, they said so last time, AND it’s just obvious anyway. FTR confronting Ciampa was at least something fresh, a nice reference to their WWE days, and probably could’ve been the one FTR promo we got.

The promos with Brodido and their separate stories at least established the matches we knew were happening. Andrade being obnoxious to Bandido was good stuff, and Brody calling out Swerve only to get jumped and choked out was also good, especially for the heat. Swerve will of course beat Gravity, but the question is how badly. It’s equal parts a message to Bandido and Brody, so I wonder if we get Brodido VS Swerve & Andrade for a go-home Dynamite or Collision. Either way, I feel like Andrade and Swerve are each going to win their matches; Andrade needs to build momentum if he wants after MJF, and Swerve just started his Heel turn, he also needs to maintain momentum.

MJF VS Knight opening the show was rather surprising, but it makes sense now. It was an awesome match, Knight really establishing himself as a singles competitor, but of course MJF won. Though, Hangman didn’t need his own match, he could’ve just called MJF out when he showed up on stage. MJF could then clap back right there, and DCF could’ve jumped Hangman and JetSpeed right there. Then we still get the trios title main event, which honestly surprised me being an “impromptu match.” It was an awesome match, though they didn’t give as much Aussie Open moves as I’d hoped. But in the end, MJF screwing Hangman over was a fine way to protect the Faces in losing, but makes me think even more now that Hangman has to win at Revolution.

Perhaps part of the Don Callis Family winning the trios titles is so they can be given to the Death Riders. Great match from Moxley VS Hechicero, and of course Moxley won. I don’t think we needed that group promo from the Death Riders, since Marina snuck in her promo on Toni during Moxley’s entrance. But I suppose Yuta still had to speak on how he’s bald now but won’t let that be a source of shame. I could see Yuta, Garcia, and Pac going for the trios titles, but I don’t know if they’d be able to take those off Protokadaussie Open fair and square. Kyle VS Bailey being announced during the trios match was a bit sloppy, too, and I would think Kyle wins that, too.

Darby & Cassidy VS The Dogs was a great tag match, and while Darby & Cassidy won, the big surprise was David Finlay showing up. It wasn’t 100% guaranteed he was going to WWE but I at least thought there was a chance. But to be fair, he gets to be exactly the same Savage King David Finlay he was in NJPW by going to AEW, even joining up with his guys here. Depending on how they play this, a Conglomeration member like Mark Briscoe could join Darby and Cassidy in a Six Man Tag with the Dogs, but I also wonder where Roddy Strong fits into all this. Very good promo from Toni & Cassidy in response, and we have gotta get Toni VS Marina for Revolution.

The IInspiration losing to Brawling Birds in such jobber fashion was rather surprising. They didn’t get one good shot in on Jamie & Alex the entire time, and got stacked with the finisher. If they’re going to be All Elite now, they’re starting at the bottom after building up quite a bit of hype from their stop over in Stardom. Thekla VS Rosa was a great match, especially since they chose to keep everyone else in the back. But as I figured last week, Thekla was going to win this, so at least she did it cleanly. Kris failing to protect Rosa might mean Kris gets her rematch with Thekla at Revolution, but they’d have to put that together right away with this week’s Collision or the go-home Dynamite.

My Score: 9/10
