NXT UK Media catches up with Oliver Carter.
He gets another check up with the trainer, and he knows they want to know how his leg is doing. It’s all good, but then Trent Seven walks over to say, “But is it, though? Because to me, Oliver Carter, that looks like a very, very heavily bandaged and braced left knee.” What Seven suggests is Carter just gives up now and lets Seven go the finals. Go on, say it. Carter will say it. If Carter remembers last time, when Carter & Smith faced Seven & Bate, they made Moustache Mountain into ex-champions.
Seven says yes, that did happen. But it was also the most important and pivotal moment in Seven’s career. Because now, the WWE Universe and Carter get to see the REAL Trent seven. And the real Trent Seven will break that leg!
Ilja Dragunov speaks.
“This is my message for every competitor in the NXT UK Championship Tournament. Impressive, inspiring, how every single one of you are willing to give everything they have for this prestigious prize. And I’m curious to know who will take my place as the champion. But pay attention to the wording: MY place. Whoever you will be, you better sleep well, fight hard, because the second, the very second I will be back, I will throw my entire existence in front of you in a way you haven’t ever seen before. Long Live the Czar!”

Huxley then whips Chase and clotheslines in the other corner! Huxley whips again, then runs in to clothesline from behind! Huxley whips Chase again, and again, and Chase is being worn out by the buckles! Dennis shouts at Huxley, “What’re you doing, ya moron?!”
Huxley stomps whipping Chase around and Dennis tells him to finish it off! But Chase avoids the elbow drop! Fans rally up and Chase crawls, as does Huxley! Hot tags to Bodhi and Dennis! Bodhi CLOBBERS Dennis over and over, then runs through him to run him over! Bodhi fires up and STANDING SPLASHES! Cover, Huxley breaks it! NXT UK takes a closer look at the coming Heritage Cup Championship rematch.
Noam Dar says that NXT UK isn’t just here to watch the game, they’re here to change the game. That’s why they’re the only brand to use the Heritage Cup Rounds style. Mark Coffey adds that no one else has this. No one else produces the toughness that the UK does. The physical toughness, and the mental toughness. Dar says there’s nothing more competitive, and Mark says it’s like having six matches in one go. Step up or step aside! If you think you can do this, then EFFING C’MON THEN! That is what this cup is all about!
Mark says the Heritage Cup represents the history of pro-wrestling in the UK, and it is his honor to be carrying that forward. Dar says heritage is about giving thanks and praise to the legacy of this sport. James Mason, Johnny Moss, Robbie Brookside, Johnny Saint. Without those men, this brand wouldn’t be here. They do not let the past die. Mark is carrying their legacy while carving his own right next to theirs. Dar says to “all those old boys watching,” pat yourselves on the back. But Dar is here now, and all the levels those legends have set, Dar will best them. They can start thanking Dar now.
Mark says Dar is perhaps the greatest Heritage Cup Champion there’s ever been, but he also said he’d beat Dar without Sha in his corner, and look what happened. Dar isn’t here to talk about Sha. It’s never been about Sha, it’s been about Dar. Mark says Dar is lost without his corner man. But Dar says he’ll put away all the doubt and questions in the rematch. Fight IQ beats toughness, just like chess beats checkers, and like Dar beats Mark. Mark will bust through those rounds, those walls, and through Dar! Mark says the legacy is in his hands, because it is GALLUS’ KINGDOM! Next week, who wins the epic rematch to prove they are THE Heritage Cup Champion?

And the Big Strong Boy is a semifinalist! And those matches are both happening next week! Will Bate return to an NXT UK Championship Tournament Finals?
My Thoughts:
A great episode for NXT UK, but unfortunately so much of this is made meaningless by the massive spoilers on NXT Heatwave, and the news about WWE transforming NXT UK into NXT Europe. It seems Worlds Collide 2022 is happening, and on September 4th to A) follow up WWE Clash at the Castle on the 3rd, and B) counter program against AEW All Out. On top of that news, there is news that a handful of NXT UK wrestlers are let go as of today, some of which we just saw today. Joe Coffey and Mark Andrews had a very good opening match to move the NXT UK Championship tournament along. Joe moves on as Gallus is getting to look strong right about now, and the entirety of South Wales Subculture is moving on from the WWE.
Very good match from Amale and Nina, and with Amale being part of that NXT UK Women’s Championship contender story, she wins and stays in the company while Nina Samuels is moving on from WWE. Good promo from Ilja Dragunov to remind everyone that he will be back, and he will definitely have a great match against the new NXT UK Champion *cough* Bate */cough* in the future. Great promo between Carter and Seven to hype up their match, that’ll be a lot of fun but I fully expect Seven to win to meet Bate in the finals. Really fun match out of Chase U, Dennis and Huxley, but I had a feeling Chase U would win to make Dennis look like a doofus.
Great vignette for Dar VS Mark 3, but some of those lines already haven’t aged well with the news we just got. This match could go either way because Gallus’ appearance on NXT Heatwave didn’t show Mark with the cup, but that doesn’t mean he isn’t still Heritage Cup Champion. We’ll just have to wait and see, since Gallus is also going after the NXT UK Tag Team Championships next Tuesday. And we got a great main event match out of Bate VS Williams, the fans had a lot of fun having Bate back in action, and even without the spoilers, of course Bate wins to move on. Bate VS Coffey is going to be great, but of course Bate is going to win.
My Score: 8.4/10

Andrew’s TNA iMPACT! Results & Match Ratings: 4.16.2026
Last few weeks of iMPACT! have been shaky at best, but Rebellion was fun! Do we start a new good streak?
Rebellion was a better show than I think anyone really anticipated. The Hardcore Country Match was pure fun. X Division and International were great matches, Tag match made sense, main event was good just too overbooked.
We did get KC Navarro’s return, Alisha returning to The System and Ryan Nemeth being that crown jewel of TNA. Slammiversary isn’t until the end of June, so we get like 10 weeks of build…can we get consistent TV?
Let’s see how things start!
"Have you seen my brother Chris…you know, @TherealAbyss?"@WeAreRosemary encounters Joseph Park in the Undead Realm. #TNAiMPACT pic.twitter.com/thFzFGDyL2

Ratings:
- AJ Francis vs KC Navarro: KC wins via Body Scissors Cradle – ** 3/4
- Tasha Steelz w/Order 4 vs Jada Stone: Jada wins via Spark Stunner – *
- EC3 vs Eric Young: No Contest – No Rating
- 2 on 4 Handicap Match: Leon Slater & Moose vs The System w/Lish: Cedric wins via Lumbar Check – ***
Results:
AJ Francis vs KC Navarro
KC has been on the shelf for a few months after an ACL tear, AJ kicked him out of Fri$t Cla$$ and never kept his name out of his mouth. Early on KC uses the speed kills strategy, tries an Olympic Slam but that’s a bad idea, recovers from that and goes for a Dive, but AJ catches him, Snake Eyes him on the apron and then Lawn Darts him into the post. AJ takes his time, and KC is selling the moves, the hard Irish Whip, and it’s a simple but effective size difference story. AJ tries a Death Valley Driver, but KC slips it, tries another Olympic Slam, but can’t lift AJ again. AJ hammers him down and then just throws him across the ring, hitting Tennessee Whiskey and soaks in the boos.
AJ stalks KC, kicks at him a few times before trying to grab him, eats a Jawbreaker, Dropkick from KC staggers AJ. Irish Whip counter, Up and Over catch, but KC turns it into a Satellite DDT, KC with John Woo Dropkicks in triplicate. KC perches AJ on the second rope…Avalanche Olympic Slam! Only a near fall, but a good spot they were building towards. KC climbs to the opposite corner, jumps and eats the TFL! AJ points at Nic Nemeth on commentary, he’s trying to send a message. Takes too long, KC with the Body Scissors Cradle, 1-2-3! KC with the flash pinfall victory!
The System come out, with slightly altered music having Lish in say in the beginning “You can’t beat The System”. Cedric says that because Leon cheated with the belt it doesn’t count as a loss. Leon comes down, tries to speak English but sucks at it, as per usual. Moose comes out to run down The System. They try to make a match, Daria comes out, says S.hut U.p I.m T.alking. She tells them no tag match, Moose and Leon try to talk smack to Daria so Daria changes her tune and tells them they’ll be in a 2v4 handicap match against the entire System.
Tasha Steelz w/Order 4 vs Jada Stone
After Mustafa runs his mouth a little, announces his International Title open challenge, he calls for Jada to come out for her match and Jada hits the ring running. Quick back and forth, rope runs, Headscissors from Jada sends Tasha into the corner, Jada tries the Bulldog, but Tasha powders. Jada adjusts, Baseball Slide. Skyler tries to get involved but gets seen, Jada kicks Tasha in the mouth. Jada jumps, Tasha is supposed to catch her but can’t keep her balance and stumbles backwards in a makeshift Stumble Bomb thing. Jada gets tossed into the post after, Tasha hits the Short-Arm Lariat, and we head to commercial.
As we return, Tasha connects with a slam, a near fall and a few short stomps into a Drop Toe Hold to send Jada neck first into the lower rope. After the referee admonishes Hotch, Jada tries for a surprise Sunset Flip, but Tasha kicks out and then connects with a Pump Kick. Chin Lock is cinqued in, but Jada fights up, but Tasha uses the hair to slam Jada’s face into the mat. Tasha pushes Jada into the corner, stomps and chokes her until the referee forces the break. Stike Exchange, Jada gets the best of that, Two Lariats and a Slingblade later and Tasha is suddenly having issues. Enzuigiri, Meteora into the Split Legged Moonsault, but only for two!
Mustafa and Hotch start to plot, as Tasha hits a Jawbreaker and Neckbreaker combo but only for two. Jada reverses the whip, but Tasha slips to the outside, Gamengiri, sloppy reentry, sloppy attempt at catching Jada’s Back Hand Spring into a German Suplex. This just continues to show that Tasha sucks in the ring, but she’s great on the mic. Jada hits a Tornado DDT off the ropes into a Northern Lights Suplex, floated into a lame Facebuster. This match has broken down a bit. Mustafa distracts Jada, Tasha pulls her off the top rope into the Okurrr but only a two count. The ref kicks out Order 4 because of the Implication. Jada hits the Spark Stunner for the win.
Good for Jada, but not a good match…and it wasn’t Jada’s fault. She’s money.

Santana comes out to cut a promo, talks about how he’s put away all the former champions thrown at him so far, so he’s gonna call his shot. He calls out Rich Swann, wants Daria to make the match for next week, and Rich cuts a solid promo back. The match should be good.
EC3 vs Eric Young
A TNA Frontline original versus a Dixieland Original. Kind of nice that it’s at least two TNA guys when push comes to shove.
Eric attacks EC3 as soon as the entrance starts. EC3 tries to turn it around and throw EY in, but EY peppers in strikes and throws EC3 back out. Every time EC3 gets one shot, EY mauls him and gets in rabbit punches, neck snaps and a Chin Lock. EC3 gets to a vertical base, Lariat, Back Elbow, Thesz Press and goes for the 1 Percenter…but EY with the gouge to the eyes. The ref bump isn’t done well, but it’s honestly funny how EC3 forces both EY and ref over the top rope. The match gets thrown out as a No Contest, EC3 swings and misses with the chair, EY wraps the chair around EC3’s head and security separates them before anything crazy happens. But EC3 continues to charge at EY with the chair, EY side steps and EC3 goes into the steps head first with the chair around his neck.
A moronic spot. Who wouldn’t take the chair off before charging? The most telegraphed idiot spot I’ve seen in a minute.

After the second half of the Undead Realm, the Diamond Collective get out, Mara and Rosemary attack them. A short brawl, until the lights go out again when it looks like the Diamonds have the upper hand. Allie’s new music hits and she comes down to make the save with a Superkick Party and Codebreaker for Tessa. It was only a 20 seconds, but Allie looked better than I’ve ever seen her.
2 on 4 Handicap Match: Leon Slater & Moose vs The System w/Lish
Leon and Cedric start, The System tries to mess with Leon early on, but Leon tags out quickly, Moose takes everyone out, stumbles a little on his Kip Up, but the brawl with Bear Bronson is what we want to see. Myers tries to Spear Moose when he’s distracted but Moose side steps and Myers hits Bronson. Cedric Dives, Moose catches him and Powerbombs him into Bear and Myers. Eddie cuts off Moose but Leon flies over the corner for that everyone waits in a corner spot.
Moose hits Lights Out on Cedric back in the ring but Myers makes the save. Moose gets clipped with the Boston Knee Party thanks to the handicap aspect. Cedric tags out to Bear and Bear mocks Moose’s trucker pull taunt. The crowd fires for Moose so he pops up, Chops, Sunset Flip, but Bear sits on Moose for two!
Eddie gets tagged in, tries to light up Moose with Chops but just pisses him off. Moose turns the tables but then eats the turnbuckles missing a charge. Eddie tags in Myers, Sole Butt from Myers keeps Moose down, Cedric tags in but the System do the Japanese Heel stable thing of the locomotion corner spot. But Moose erupts out of the corner and takes everyone out. Tags out to Leon, Leon throws kicks, Spiderman Rebound Gamengiri, stereo Yakuza Kicks but Bear helps people avoid the High Spot from Leon. Leon keeps the foot on the gas, a few more kicks, Flying Crossbody on Eddie, but only near fall. Eddie thumbs the eye, Blue Thunder Bomb, Elbow Drop from Myers and Frog Splash from Cedric.
Moose makes the save, Eddie dodges the Pump Kick and Moose kills a security guard before hitting a second on Eddie. Leon has counters for everyone else, reverses the Lumbar Check once into a Cradle, but Cedric rolls the Cradle the other way, keeps hold of Leon and hits the Lumbar Check!
Overall Score: 6.5/10
Allie is officially alive again! KC won his match back from injury! Nic is apparently turning babyface while Ryan stays heel, so that’s odd, but also reminiscent of their initial dynamic when we just thought Mokuba was delusional. While the wrestling was nothing to write home about, the show actually kept moving nicely. Lei Ying Lee had a heartfelt promo, Xia avoided a response. Kaz and Elijah are continuing, Daria is doing a great job as the heel GM. Jada also looks great whenever she’s in the ring, she just needs to graduate away from Tasha. Tasha can’t keep up with Jada, and it’s not because Jada is too excited, it’s because Tasha is not a good wrestler.
Ali’s open challenge also allows for fun possibilities. So while it was segment heavy, this was a fun show and aside from being devoid of “quality workrate” matches, it was a good Pro Wrestling episode. Cedric with the main event win is nice too. Look at me…now look at you!

Adam Copeland is here!
The fans fire up and sing along as The Rated R Superstar makes his entrance, complete with the pyro but also a black eye. Cope goes to the ring, he grabs a mic, and he tells Seattle, “If you couldn’t tell, Dynasty on Sunday didn’t necessarily go our way. Yes, my face got messed up, way to go, Einstein. I got glue in my forehead, staples in my forehead, I got a shiner. Let’s face it, FTR… They said what they were gonna do and they did it.” The fans boo but Cope says they got to Christian, too, that’s why he’s not here. Christian’s gotta get an MRI on his forearm to see if it’s broke. The fans also boo that.
Cope says FTR gave his wife a piledriver. They took Christian’s watch! And in Christian’s world, that’s actually worse! There are three things you don’t mess with when it comes to Christian: His watch, his wine, and his women. In that order. But FTR, on Dynamite, you came out and said that while you’re the champions, Cope & Cage will not get another title shot. The fans boo again, but Cope says he is cooking an idea on that so bear with him. But if FTR thinks that this is just about titles, that C&C are just gonna walk away cuz they didn’t win at Dynasty, they’ve watched C&C’s careers and think that these two are just gonna walk away?
Do you think that they’re just gonna tuck their tails and run? The fans say “NO!” Cope says that is NOT what they do! Christian was forced to retire for seven YEARS! He busted his ass and he got this back! The fans cheer that, and Cope says he was retired for NINE YEARS, told he can never do this again because if he fell over, he could die! But Cope is standing here, full o’ piss ‘n’ vinegar! C&C are like dogs on a bone, and they will END FTR and take their pound of flesh! The fans cheer, but then FTR makes their way out here. Cope is ready to fight, but where are they? FTR walks out on stage, and Stoke has the mic as he smiles at Cope.
But then RPG VICE rush Cope, just like last week! Cope is ready this time and he fights off Rocky & Trent, but now FTR joins in! The fans boo this 4v1 mugging with Stoke cheering them on! But wait! The Young Bucks rush out here! Matt & Nick Jackson rush the ring, and they dodge FTR to CLOBBER RPG Vice! Then DOUBLE SUPERKICKS for FTR! RPG Vice go after The Bucks, then send them at each other! The Bucks reverse to LARIAT Rocky, then they DOUBLE SUPERKICK Trent! Cope SPEARS Trent down and the fans fire up! Cope snarls as he stands back up, and he shakes hands with The Bucks as thanks for the help.
Cope & The Bucks stare FTR down as FTR retreats, but will The Bucks and C&C have to fight it out to go after those tag team championships?
Jack Perry speaks.
“At Dynasty, I got my first taste of what it’s like to defend this championship. And it’s exactly what I’ve been waiting for. But Don Callis, you only got close enough to get a sniff, because I beat your biggest, baddest and most dangerous, Mark Davis. But after what you just did to the Young Bucks, well, I wanna shove this up your big, stupid, spray-tanned nose. So why don’t you go ahead and pick your favorite goon out of the bunch and meet me next week in Portland so that I can add another notch to my belt as the National Champion.” Jungle Jack has thrown out the challenge, but who will be up to the task?

Another fight, another dirty tactic! But in the end, even Windsor fell into the Toxic Spider’s trap! Will anyone ever get wise to Thekla’s tricks? Or will AEW always be toxic?
My Thoughts:
A great Collision, though kinda hard to follow that great Dynamite from last night. A lot of these matches felt like filler, but because it’s AEW, they even make filler go above and beyond. Pac VS Lio was actually the first real display of this “Problem Child” persona that I really liked. Lio got to show more personality, and seeing Pac & Garcia be afraid of Lio really helped sell the character. Great win for Pac, though, and maybe he goes for the TNT title next. Brody, Mistico y Dorada of course won their match, but again, they made the squash match a fun match. Them mentioning Bandido and Supercard of Honor was nice, it means they care about ROH on some level.
Very good opening promo from Cope, but of course FTR had to show up. RPG Vice attacking again was redundant, but The Bucks making the save was a nice change. Makes me think we’re getting an 8 Man Tag, FTRPG Vice VS Cope, Cage & The Bucks, and that somehow leads to the tag title match for Double or Nothing. Great tag match from The Bucks VS The Rascalz, and even a good move for The Dogs to go after those teams. I wonder if The Dogs and even The Rascalz get in on the tag match. Five, maybe even six teams, all fighting for the titles, that’d be awesome stuff for Double or Nothing, and a great way to give The Bucks their historic fourth reign.
Kris & Shida had a very good tag match and of course they won, but I like Mina accusing Shida of being whodunnit. Shida is certainly being two-faced, but who knows if she’ll be chosen as the one who took out Toni Storm. Great Six Man Tag from Conglomeration VS Lethal Twist, and of course The Conglomeration won. Great Continental Championship Eliminator, and great showing for Nick Wayne in his return to Dynamite. I still think he needs more to do with the ROH World TV title, but hey, they could use this to say Nick won some respect from Moxley. The story still feels like Moxley and Ospreay will run it back at Double or Nothing.
And as I figured from last night, Thekla was gonna cheat to win and keep the title. It was a great main event, but there might be something bigger in store for Double or Nothing, like a Triple Threat against both Brawling Birds.
My Score: 8.8/10
