No Holds Barred: Mike Santana VS Ortiz!

Once Proud ‘n’ Powerful together, now willing to tear the other down so they can stand alone. No count outs, no disqualifications, no telling what these two will do to each other, who will go to the extreme here in the home of ECW?

The bell rings and the fans fire up as the two stare down. Fans already chant for “A E DUB!” for giving them this one, and Santana jaws with Ortiz. Ortiz has his hands behind his back as he dares Santana to do something, so Santana ROCKS him with a forearm! Santana runs, but Ortiz DROPKICKS him down! Santana bails out, but Ortiz DIVES! Direct hit but not all that clean. Ortiz still gets up to fire off fists! Then Ortiz goes looking under the ring, and he brings out a trash can lid! Ortiz SMACKS Santana with that, then he gets the trash can! Ortiz SMACKS and SMACKS and SMACKS Santana with the can until it dents!

Ortiz brings out chair after chair from under the ring and piles them together, Then he gets a kendo stick to SMACK away on Santana! Santana writhes, Ortiz storms around, and he SMACKS the bad leg! Ortiz drags Santana up and whips him hard into railing! Santana drops down, Ortiz gets that trash can to SMASH Santana with it again! Then Ortiz brings out a TABLE! Philly loves it, but Ortiz puts it aside for now to go after Santana. Santana pushes Ortiz away, Ortiz eggs him on, then Ortiz SLAPS Santana! Santana SLAPS back, they SLAP back and forth! Fans fire up as they each claw at the other’s eyes!

Ortiz goes up to the apron, drags Santana up to join him, but Santana blocks the suplex! Santana turns things around to suplex Ortiz into the ring! Ortiz bails back out but Santana ASAI MOONSAULTS! Direct hit and down goes Ortiz! Fans fire up with Santana and he grabs a chair. Santana goes back to Ortiz, SMACKS him with it, then he takes that table and props it up against the barriers. Santana SMACKS Ortiz with the trash can, right to the head! Fans fire up, Santana drags Ortiz up and reels him in. But Ortiz back drops Santana to the floor! Then he POWERBOMBS Santana through the table! Fans lose their minds and Ortiz drags Santana up!

Ortiz puts Santana in the ring, covers, TWO!! Santana survives and Ortiz seethes but the fans rally back up. Santana crawls to the apron, Ortiz goes out after him, but Santana blocks the suplex! Santana throws body shots, and Santana suplexes Ortiz to the chair pile below!! Fans lose their minds again and Rampage goes picture in picture.

Ortiz and Santana writhe, the ref checks them, and somehow they’re both okay to continue. Santana and Ortiz crawl to opposite ends, go around the way, and drag themselves up with the apron. Ortiz leans against the steel steps given his back took the brunt of that landing, but he and Santana both crawl into the ring. Santana and Ortiz then head for each other, and Rampage returns to single picture. Fans hope they “FIGHT FOREVER!” but this is only the first match of the night! Ortiz and Santana throw junkyard dog headbutts, then they fire haymakers! They go back and forth, faster and faster, harder and harder!

They stand, fire more hands, and even body shots! Ortiz HEADBUTTS, then he gets around to GERMAN SUPLEX! Santana gets up to get around and GERMAN SUPLEXES back! Ortiz runs up, SWATS Santana’s lariat, but Santana BOOTS Ortiz’s lariat! Ortiz ducks, then DOUBLE LARIATS take both men down! Fans fire up again as Ortiz and Santana stir. “This is Awesome!” as Ortiz sits up first. Santana follows, and he goes to a corner. Ortiz runs in but Santana goes up and over. Santana ENZIGURIS, then runs, but Ortiz ENZIGURIS back! Ortiz waistlocks, but Santana bucks the O’Conner to roll and CUTTER! Cover, TWO!!

Santana is stunned but the fans fire up again as Ortiz survives. Santana stands, the fans rally up, and Santana aims from a corner. Ortiz rises, Santana run in, DISCUS- POWERSLAM! Cover, TWO! Ortiz suplexes to BRAINBUSTER! Cover, TWO!! Santana is still in this and Ortiz is frustrated. Fans rally, Ortiz does a few laps around Santana to loosen up his back. Ortiz scuffs Santana, Santana hits back, and the two are brawling again! Fans fire up as Santana fires unanswered shots from all sides! Ortiz comes back to ROCK Santana! Ortiz puts Santana up top, cravats, but Santana slips out of London Tower to shove Ortiz at the ref!

Ortiz stops, Santana waistlocks but Ortiz switches to roll-up! TWO! Santana rolls Ortiz, stands him back up, DISCUS LARIAT!! Fans fire up again as Santana aims from a corner. CANNONBALL! Santana isn’t done, either! He torture racks Ortiz for a TOWER HACKER POWERBOMB!! Cover, Santana wins!

Winner: Mike Santana, by pinfall

Santana tells Ortiz that they had it out, now the beef is squashed. Santana wants a fist bump, but Ortiz leaves him hanging. Is the hatchet not actually buried? Or does Ortiz need time to cool off?

Wait what the hell is Sonjay Dutt doing coming out here? Why’s he trying to talk to Ortiz? Sonjay whispers something to him, is this because of how Sonjay knows Jay Lethal and Ortiz knows Eddie Kingston? Is this in relation to the coming ROH World Championship match?

AEW takes a closer look at Collision’s World Championship match.

Excalibur narrates that, “You don’t become AEW World Champion by accident. And you certainly don’t become the longest reigning champion by accident.” Renee Paquette says if you look at the young man MJF started as in AEW, and see how he has flourished and grown into the AEW World Champion, when that bright light is on, MJF shows up and goes to work. MJF says he has managed to carve a hell of a run. The greatest Dog Collar Match of all time. The greatest Ironman Match of all time. The greatest Fatal 4 Way of all time. The biggest main event in front of the biggest crowd of all time. MJF is about to wrestle Kenny Omega in one of the biggest matches in this sport of all time, period.

MJF says that calling this a dream match is an understatement. Kenny Omega was on top of the wrestling world while MJF was only 19 getting started in FBW, Five Borough Wrestling, out of New York. And during one of his matches, he saw in the crowd, the megastar, Kenny Omega, watching this. Omega took time out of his night to talk to him and MJF never forgot that. If MJF can beat Omega, he will go down as the greatest AEW World Champion.

But Kenny Omega says he is still the Best Bout Machine, he is still The Cleaner. Excalibur says Omega is someone who is woven into the very fiber of AEW. He is a founding father, handpicked to be part of AEW. The longest reigning world champion in the history of this company at this moment in time. MJF brought up the record, Omega never expected MJF to be the one to say that. If you asked Omega a year ago if MJF was gonna go down as one of the greatest in AEW history, he would’ve laughed in your face and said no. But that is a testament to MJF’s talent and just how special he is in the ring.

So now it is Omega’s responsibility not just to protect his reign record, but also protect his top spot as the best. MJF says we’re looking at two guys who are at the top of this sport. They’ve made it to the pinnacle, but how they each got there was entirely different. Tony Schiavone says MJF has taken many great steps to be at this level now, but Omega is one of the greatest of all time. Renee says people know who Kenny Omega is, with his incredible matches in NJPW and around the world, “one of the absolute best to ever do it.”

Nigel McGuiness says this business is built on moments and legacies, and when MJF faces Omega for the AEW World Championship, there is an opportunity to create both. MJF says this isn’t just a game. Pro-wrestling is his LIFE, and the AEW World Championship is his livelihood. Excalibur says Omega will test MJF on how much that title really means to him. Nigel poses the question that while MJF has the title, can he take the record from Omega? Omega says MJF might not be the man he thinks he is, that he isn’t the man that can take the torch from Omega. MJF may be on top of the industry, but Omega is still here.

MJF is fully aware of how big this match is. Omega says it has been a rough year, and he can repay the losses one by one with this win. Wait, who let Jay White in here? White wants Omega to calm down, because he is here to help. He is also alone, so you know it’s nothing shady. They both know what happens when it is 1v1 between them, after all. White wishes Omega best of luck against MJF, because we know Omega is brittle, broken and beat up these days. So all the best, and if it all goes well, “a truly elite champion” will be waiting for him at Full Gear. Good bye, good night, bang. White heads out, but now Don Callis is with MJF?

Callis says MJF is going to “embarrass” Kenny, and that’s great. But Callis has been meaning to make an offer. The Don Callis Family, surely MJF has heard, everyone’s talking about it. The family is busy but Callis finally got to see MJF. Picture this: Maxwell Jacob Friedman and the Don Callis Family together! Callis doesn’t like using the cliche, “Sky’s the limit,” but- MJF stops him there, and says this is insane! How did MJF never think about this? The limitless potential with MJF and Callis working together! MJF could move up and even be world champion! Oh wait, that’s right! Yeah, well, tough luck, Callis, MJF doesn’t need your help.

MJF pushes past Callis and tells him to get that thing on his forehead checked, it looks like a vajayjay. The Switchblade has provoked The Cleaner while the Devil has turned down Don Callis. MJF VS Omega will be an all-time classic, but who survives the Collision to go to Los Angeles?

Backstage interview with Kris Statlander, Willow Nightingale & Skye Blue.

Renee is with the AEW TBS Champion and her supposed friends, and says that Kris wanted this time. Yes, and they must be wondering why she’s gathered them here today. She considers them all her friends, so she appreciates them showing up. She just wants to say that ever since Willow & Skye got misted, they’ve been acting “real crazy,” especially Skye. Like real out of sorts, so what the… Well, what’s going on? Skye says she’s fine, really. Willow isn’t so sure. She gets it, she has the one eye and it’s not easy to fight, but Willow knows this isn’t who they are. Skye says she’ll worry about the match tonight, Willow should do the same.

Skye leaves, and Kris wishes Willow luck. Willow thanks Kris for that, and heads out now. The Babe with the Power was hit in one eye, Skye was hit in both, is that a bad sign for what’s in store for them both?

Kip Sabian & Penelope Ford are here!

Mr. & Mrs. Superbad are already in the ring and Kip has a mic to say Philadelphia is known as a sports city. And he isn’t sure if they know, but not only is he a “highly intelligent sex symbol,” but he’s a sports guy, too. There are some great sports icons that have come out of Philly: Rocky Balboa, for example! A true rags to riches story. (Except it was fictional…) And no city closes out on the big ones like Philadelphia! Fans boo the jab at their baseball team. Kip says hey, he gets it. After the heartbreak last year, he just wants to say, congratulations on the big win on Tuesday!  There’s no better time to be a Phillies fan!

Penelope corrects Kip, they lost in the series. Oh? Well, sorry. He had no idea they lost. But what he will say is that the fans have the grit. They’ll come back in the next game, and win the Super Bowl! Wait, that’s not what’s next? World Series, sorry! But hey, hey, if the fans want to get out of this squalor, he’s got a hot take for ya! Put all your money on James Harden. Fans boo but Kip says he’s got an inside scoop that says he’ll be the glue that holds the 76ers together! A man who loves Philly as much as Kip! But wait, here comes Mark Briscoe! The Sussex County Chicken returns to AEW, and Kip says we talked about rags to riches, so here it is!

Well, okay, Mark is more of a rags to different rags story, but still! This is a man with just as many teeth as the Eagles have Super Bowl rings! What does he want, “Silly Bullocks?” Mark DECKS Kip! And fires off CHOP CHOP CHOP CHOP CHOP! Mark whips, Kip reverses but Mark CLOBBERS Kip! Fans fire up and Mark clotheslines Kip up and out! Fans cheer as the Chicken stands tall, will he fly like an eagle towards the top of AEW?

Backstage interview with the former Jericho Appreciation Society.

Renee is with Jake Hager, Matthew Menard, Angelo Parker, Daniel Garcia & Anna Jay and says tonight is huge for Anna. The Fatal 4 Way will give the winner a title match against Hikaru Shida, how is she feeling? She feels good. They’ve had a rough few weeks, but tonight, she needs them to be there for her like she’s been there for them. Tonight is a huge night for her and a huge opportunity. Wait, why is Callis stepping in now? He wants to talk with Hager, says he’s looking big. Daddy Magic asks what’s going on, they’re filming a promo right now. Oh, right, sorry, it’s all good. Menard says Callis has quite the family he’s putting together.

Callis says yes, it’s going great. But he really feels that Kenny Omega & Chris Jericho are ganging up against him, he needs a solid tag team to take them on. Do they know anybody? Do they know anybody? Parker says they do know someone. So maybe Menard & Parker can help take care of Jericho & Kenny for him, and Callis’ family is their family. Okay, guys? Callis heads out, Menard says Scarface ain’t so bad. Garcia can’t believe they’re even listening to that bald headed parasite. Menard says take it easy. Anna stops them all and asks what she just said. Tonight is about her! And in fact, that match is next, so let’s go. The X-JAS heads out, but then Ruby Soho calls to Parker?

Soho says she found this switchblade comb in catering and figured it was his. Oh, thanks for that. Parker says sorry about the loss on Dynamite. She says enough about that, she was just returning what was his. Okay. But then he takes her hand and says if she does want to talk about it… She says, “You know you’re touching me, right?” She takes her hand away and leaves. Cool Hand Ange takes one last look, but then Anna shouts at him to get going. Parker hurries away, is there something cooking between him and the Runaway?

AEW Women’s World Championship #1 Contender’s Fatal 4 Way: Skye Blue VS Willow Nightingale VS Anna Jay VS Abadon!

Chicago Skye is in denial about the clouds darkening around her, she just wants to shine with some gold. The Babe with the Power is a bit more self-aware, but will that darkness get the better of her, too? Will the Star of the Show show she’s a star? Or will the returning Undead Girl be at her strongest this close to Halloween?

The bell rings and everyone is wary of Abadon. Anna says all y’all are messed up, she bails. Abadon rushes Skye & Willow, they dodge to double kick and CLUB away on her! Skye fireman’s carries but Abadon slips free to shove her into Willow! She then shoves Skye to ropes, Skye bucks the O’Conner but Anna ROCKS Skye! Abadon then GERMAN SUPELXES Skye away! Abadon runs up, Anna ducks, but Abadon HOTSHOTS her down! Willow rolls Abadon, TWO! Willow fireman’s carries now, coordinates with Skye, but Abadon slips away and Willow blocks the superkick in time! Was Skye even aiming for the spooky chick?

Willow sets Skye down, and Abadon CHOP BLOCKS them both down! Abadon roars and runs, to DOUBLE CODE BREAKER! Fans rally up but wait! Is that Toni Storm!? Anna CLOBBERS Abadon, UPPERCUTS her in the corner, but butler Luther sets up a director’s chair on stage for Toni to take a seat. Anna ignores that to run at Abadon, to HEEL KICK! Abadon falls, Toni finally takes her seat and Rampage goes picture in picture.

Skye rolls Willow up! Abadon breaks it to roll Skye! Skye rolls through, all four women stare down. Anna CHOPS Skye! Skye CHOPS Willow! Willow CHOPS Abadon! Abadon CHOPS Anna! The CHOP is passed around again, and again, but then Skye pokes Anna in the eyes! Willow brawls with Abadon while Skye stomps Anna in a corner. Willow whips corner to corner to then SPLASH Abadon! Skye bumps Anna off buckles while Willow scoops to SLAM Abadon, then SENTON! Cover, Skye breaks it! Toni is apparently shouting directions to her stars, but they’re not listening. Willow stomps Abadon in a corner while Anna CHOKES Skye on ropes!

Abadon fires off on Willow, CLUBS her down, and Anna stomps Skye in a corner. Storm nods, gives more directions, but Anna just soaks up the heat from the fans. Willow snapmares Abadon into a motorcycle stretch. Anna CHOKES Skye some more, and Luther has the stage direction of “CLAP.” Fans clap and Storm approves. Anna puts the QUEENSLAYER SLEEPER on Willow, but then Skye puts a SLEEPER of her own on Anna! Three submissions at once, Skye’s the only one safe as Rampage goes to break!

Rampage returns and Skye DUMPS Anna out of the ring. Skye seethes, but she backs up into Abadon. Skye turns around to stare Abadon down and she isn’t afraid. That’s definitely a sign the mist has gotten to her. Storm has Luther show the sign that says “FIGHT” and fans chant for it. Skye and Abadon throw forearms! Willow goes up, she shouts to them, and DOUBLE MISSILE DROPKICKS! Fans fire up as Willow has targets in opposite corners. She back body blocks Abadon, then runs to back body block Skye! Willow keeps moving and she clotheslines Abadon to then clothesline Skye! And then again!

Anna is back and she ROCKS Willow! Anna fires off, but Willow blocks the whip. Anna ELBOWS, runs, but into the POOOUNCE! PERIOD! But then Skye is up top, CROSSBODY! Cover, TWO! Abadon SOBATS Skye, runs, and KNEES her down! Anna runs up, clinches and FLATLINERS! Willow is up, she dodges Anna to SPINEBUSTER! Cover, Skye breaks it! Skye and Willow glare at each other and fans fire up. Skye SOBATS, runs, hops on, but Willow pops her off to ROCK her! Willow whips Skye but Skye reverses to POST Willow! Willow falls, Skye runs up to kick Abadon! Anna ROCKS Abadon, they work together on her!

Abadon hits back, fires forearm son each of them, and then HEADBUTTS Skye! Anna ROCKS Abadon, Abadon ROCKS her back! Fans fire up as Abadon gets the edge, runs, but Anna dodges to QUEENSLAYER! Skye SUPERKICKS Anna down! Skye has Abadon but Abadon shrieks! Skye ROCKS her, runs, but Willow trips her and drags her out! Anna has Abadon’s arms, but Abadon flips that around to FACEBUSTER! Abadon then drags Anna into the GRAVEDIGGER!! Cover, Abadon wins!

Winner: Abadon, by pinfall (NEW #1 Contender to the AEW Women’s World Championship)

Toni Storm applauds, she’s more than fine with a horror movie for Collision. But will the Shining Samurai survive this one-woman zombie apocalypse to then join Storm for the “Hollywood Homecoming” at Full Gear?

The Acclaimed & Billy Gunn speak.

Daddy Ass introduces himself and The Acclaimed, and they have been Trios Champs for SIXTY-ONE DAYS! That means they’re eight days from the biggest celebration in wrestling history! That’s right, Max Caster is talking about National 69 Day, live on Collision next week! But here’s a big surprise, because invited to the party is MJF~! He gets to sit front row and watch The Acclaimed scissor, and MJF will get 69- DAMMIT MAX! They’re NOT inviting MJF to that! They’re not gonna 69 with MJF! They’re gonna 69 with all the fans, because it will be a very, very special night! They’re gonna celebrate 69 days as champions. Why? Because EVERYONE Loves The Acclaimed! YAY~!

AEW shares footage from a Dynamite Press Conference.

After the show went off the air with the news that Claudio Castagnoli would challenge Orange Cassidy for the International Championship next Wednesday, Tony Khan sat down with both of them to discuss the match. A reporter asked if the suit and tie was a new look for Freshly Squeezed, to which Cassidy replied, “I just wanted to show everybody how good I look in a suit. Better than him.” Claudio chuckled and asked if that was all for Cassidy’s “mind games.” The Swiss Superman is brushing Cassidy off like Cassidy brushes off 99% of most things in life, but will Cassidy leave a stain with his Orange Punch?

BREAKING NEWS for Collision!

The stakes are being raised on that AEW Women’s World Championship match. Because it’s almost Halloween, and because it’s Abadon challenging Shida, the title match is now a “Fright Night Fight!” How spooky scary will things get this Saturday? Plus, Jay White looks to keep pace with MJF and Omega by taking on AR Fox. Will “the real world champion” be rolling into Full Gear? Or will he get caught off guard by the Whole Fox’n Show? And after their multiple ambush attacks last week, The House of Black is back in Trios action. Will Malakai Black, Brody King & Buddy Matthews have to worry about retaliation?

Kyle Fletcher VS Konosuke Takeshita w/ The Don Callis Family!

The Aussie Arrow just said last night on ROH that at 24 years old, he pushed Bryan Danielson and Kenny Omega to their limits, proof positive of his potential as a future top name. Will Fletcher prove to Callis that he has what it takes? Or will Callis’ Alpha prove potential isn’t inevitable?

The bell rings and fans rally with “AUSSIE AUSSIE AUSSIE!” “OI OI OI!” Fletcher and Konosuke tie up, Konosuke puts Fletcher on ropes, then he lets off, to SLAP Fletcher! Fletcher swings, Konosuke dodges to headlock but Fletcher powers out. Konosuke runs Fletcher over, things speed up, and Fletcher hurdles to run. Konosuke arm-drags, then he blocks Fletcher’s to hit a BLUE- NO, Fletcher hits a headlock takeover! Konosuke headscissors but Kyle headstands to a jackknife, TWO as Konosuke bridges! Konosuke spins it to a backslide, TWO! Fletcher heel kicks but Konosuke ducks it to claw Fletcher’s eyes!

The ref reprimands, Konosuke runs, but Fletcher scoops to SLAM! Fans fire up with Fletcher while Konosuke writhes, and Konosuke bails out. Fletcher goes out after Konosuke as Callis says Fletcher has a bad attitude ever since costing the Don Callis Family their matches. Fletcher TOSSES Konosuke over the railing, fans seem to like this bad attitude! Fletcher drags Konosuke back into the ring and he climbs up top. Konosuke stands, ducks the leap, and scoops to BLUE THUNDER BOMB! Cover, TWO! Fans rally for Fletcher while Rampage goes picture in picture.

Konosuke stalks Fletcher to a corner, CHOPS him, then ROCKS him! Fletcher sits down, Konosuke fires more forearms! The ref reprimands and counts, Konosuke drags Fletcher up but Fletcher turns things around! Fletcher fires forearms in return, brings Konosuke out, and then ROCKS him again! Konosuke winds up to DECK Fletcher! The ref checks Fletcher and he’s still conscious, so Konosuke waits on him to get up. Fletcher stirs, Konosuke looms over him while talking some trash, and the medics want to check Fletcher. Fletcher says he’s fine, but he still stumbles around, and Konosuke CHOKES him on ropes!

The ref counts, Konosuke lets off, argues with the ref, but then goes back to Fletcher. Konosuke drags Fletcher up, whips him to ropes, but Fletcher reverses. Konosuke ducks ‘n ‘dodges and TAKESHITA LINE! Fletcher writhes again while Konosuke smooths his hair back. Konosuke pushes Fletcher to a cover, TWO! Fletcher is hanging tough but Konosuke clamps on a chinlock. Konosuke grinds Fletcher into the mat but Fletcher endures. Fletcher fights back up, throws body shots, but Konosuke DECKS him again! Konosuke storms up on Fletcher, stands him up, and whips him corner to corner. Konosuke runs in, to BOOT!

Fletcher wobbles from that hell of a kick, but he fights the suplex! Konosuke ROCKS him, reels him back in, and suplexes, but Fletcher fights! Konosuke still suplexes, but Fletcher slips out to waistlock. Konosuke switches, Fletcher switches, repeat, and then Fletcher suplexes Konosuke up and over! Both men are down as the fans rally back up, and Rampage returns to single picture. A standing count starts, Fletcher and Konosuke sit up, and Konosuke goes to a corner. They both stand at 3 of 10, Fletcher runs in but into an ELBOW! Konosuke goe sup to RANA Fletcher into buckles!

Konosuke then runs to KNEE Fletcher in the back! Konosuke pushes Fletcher out of the corner, fans boo as he hops up, but Fletcher GAMANGIRIS Konosuke to the floor! Callis says if Fletcher couldn’t beat Omega, how can he possibly beat The Alpha? Konosuke goes to the ramp side, Fletcher DIVES out to take him down! Fans fire up with Fletcher and he puts Konosuke in. Fletcher goes up a corner, leaps and CROSSBODIES! Cover, TWO! Fletcher keeps cool and fans rally up again. Fletcher drags Konosuke up, but Konosuke fights the scoop. Konosuke CLUBS Fletcher, ROCKS him, then eggs him on.

Fletcher ROCKS Konosuke! Konosuke ROCKS Fletcher! And repeat! They go back and forth, pick up speed, and Fletcher gets the edge! But Konosuke SWATS a forearm, ROCKS Fletcher, then ROLLING ELBOWS! Konosuke spins again, but Fletcher ducks to SNAP HALF ‘N’ HALF! Konosuke is back up, Fletcher runs, but into a BOOT! Konosuke POISON-RANAS! and LARIATS!! Konosuke brings Fletcher back up, but Fletcher suplexes, for a BRAINBUSTER!! Cover, TWO!!! Konosuke survives and even Callis is shocked! He has to admit, this is going longer than expected. Fans fire up and Fletcher brings Callis up.

Fletcher brings Konosuke to a corner, “This is Awesome!” as Fletcher goes up. Fletcher brings Konosuke to the top but Konosuke fights the scoop! Konosuke then SHORYUKENS! Konosuke positions Fletcher, hops up, and brings Fletcher over his shoulder!? Tuck and SUPER BASTARD DRIVER!! Cover, TWO?!?!? The fans are thunderous and Callis claims the count was slow, but Fletcher still survives either way! Konosuke is seething and vows to break Fletcher. Fans boo, but Konosuke aims, runs in, but Fletcher dodges! Scoop and- NO, Konosuke slips free! But Fletcher fights the waistlock!

Fletcher switches, Konosuke bucks the O’Conner, and then Konosuke rolls back, headscissor for the victory roll, WHEELBARROW GERMAN!! But Kyle rises?!? Konosuke ROCKS him, spins, but into the SUPERKICK! JUMP KNEE!! Konosuke has Fletcher down, brings the kneepad down, POWER DRIVE KNEE!!! Cover, Konosuke wins!

Winner: Konosuke Takeshita, by pinfall

Fans give a standing ovation, but Konosuke isn’t done with Fletcher! He DUMPS Fletcher out so that he and the Don Callis Family can have the ring to themselves. But wait, Fletcher gets in with a chair! SMACK for Konosuke! SMACK for Hobbs! But Hobbs stays up, and he pushes Fletcher to a corner! Hobbs CHOKES Fletcher but Callis tells him to let go. Callis tells Fletcher to also calm down, he says that was great! That’s exactly what he needed! That hate in Fletcher’s eyes is exactly what they want. Fletcher has earned his place in the family! Fans boo but Callis tells them all the shut up! Callis pats Fletcher on the neck and brings him into the fold.

Callis smooths things over with Hobbs and Konosuke, and surely somewhere, Will Ospreay is proud of his United Empire protege for proving himself. Is the Don Callis Family only growing bigger and more dangerous as time passes?

My Thoughts:

A very good Rampage here, and it having just three matches was a nice surprise. Kip & Penelope showing up to just cut a “Haha, Phillies lost” promo was some classic Heel stuff, and great to see Mark Briscoe is back. Mark having a one match feud with Kip will be a great way to get Mark back in the swing of things, and maybe this time, Mark achieves his destiny of taking the ROH World Television Championship for his own. Apologies to Dalton Castle, I’ve also been wanting him to get his match with Samoa Joe, but it doesn’t seem to be in the cards right now. And what a hilariously, almost embarrassingly short, highlight reel from the “press conference.” We didn’t need that, and they certainly shouldn’t have claimed it happened Wednesday after the tense closing moment on that night.

Santana VS Ortiz under No Holds Barred was awesome, I just wish they’d let us know that before tonight. Nothing out there in the advertising was clearly saying No Disqualifications, No Count Outs, Anything Goes or what have you. But hey, great stuff, and Santana getting the win was the right call. Also, nice little bit of Sonjay going to talk with Ortiz. I suppose this is Jay Lethal getting word to Ortiz to get word to Eddie Kingston (who is currently headed to Las Vegas for NJPW Fighting Spirit Unleashed tomorrow night) about setting up the ROH World Championship match. Great use of continuity of Ortiz and Eddie being friends even though they were also on the rocks last time we saw them together.

Great promos before that Women’s Fatal 4. I appreciate them talking out the misting and how it is affecting Skye more than Willow, with the literal visual of Skye having dark make-up on both eyes and Willow just having the one. There should be a Triple Threat for the TBS title, Kris VS Willow VS Skye, and Willow is the one torn between her light side and dark side, and whichever side she chooses, that either helps Kris or Skye win. Or maybe better yet, Willow wins because she chooses her side. And I believe I said this on Dynamite when this match was announced, it was of course going to be Abadon winning for the spooky, but also for an obvious win for Shida before Full Gear.

Toni Storm had a great appearance during the Fatal 4 Way, I like that no matter what’s going on (outside of her own matches), Toni automatically has the black ‘n’ white filter. And I like that we’re getting more of this Angelo Parker x Ruby Soho stuff. I believe that Parker and Ruby are together IRL, so this is a fun way to introduce that relationship to kayfabe rather than just have it be a thing outta nowhere. And good stuff with Don Callis going around recruiting. I like the little detail that Callis was eyeing Jake Hager, a friend of Jericho’s, is big, because of how Jericho said his back-up is gonna be someone literally bigger than Hobbs. It also feels like the X-JAS isn’t gonna last much longer, Full Gear might be their make or break point.

Callis and Jay White jumping in on the AEW World Championship hype stuff was also a clever little move. White does have old NJPW beef with Omega as well as recent “enemy of my enemy is my friend,” teaming with Don Callis beef, so that’s good continuity. And Callis of course thinks he can latch onto MJF, the real champion and one of the most popular guys in AEW today, and of course MJF rejects him. Acclaimed have a good promo to of course make a big deal out of 69, but safe to say MJF will not accept that invitation. Well, at least not as it stands. We still have to see how the world title match goes, and how the Dynamite 8 Man Tag goes, and maybe MJF accepts Acclaimed on some level.

And while Fletcher VS Konosuke was rather outta nowhere for a main event, what an awesome match those two young stars gave us. Callis on commentary talking about Kyle not having edge, not having a killer instinct, I guess he just hasn’t been paying attention to how Aussie Open was in NJPW and stuff, those guys together are pretty aggressive. But I guess Callis has to pose it that way cuz they can’t act like every AEW fan is also a NJPW fan. But Fletcher losing, going after Konosuke & Hobbs, and then getting Callis to accept him is some pretty good stuff, too. Plus, Ospreay ain’t about to stand for Callis disrespecting his boy, something had to give.

My Score: 8.7/10
