The Mad King is indirectly showing Bryan Danielson up by giving opportunities to men he respects! In steps the Bounty Hunter! With 20 minutes on the clock, can this Bryan beat Eddie and grab up a golden ticket? Or will “The King of the Bums” not lose to any Bryans while he’s champion?

The bell rings, the fans rally up, and Eddie circles with Keith. They feel things out, Keith throws a testing kick but Eddie shrugs it off. They circle, Keith backs Eddie down with those testing kicks but Eddie ties up with him. They are in a deadlock while the fans duel. Eddie powers Keith to ropes but Keith turns that around. The ref counts, Keith lets off slowly, and then he CHOPS! Eddie just frowns but Keith grins and eggs Eddie on. Eddie and Keith reset, circle, and the fans rally up more. The two tie up, Eddie uses height for leverage, but Keith turns things around. They’re on ropes again, the ref counts, and Keith lets off.

Keith and Eddie stare down, Eddie blocks the chop! Keith blocks the uraken to headlock! Eddie powers out, Keith powers through the chop to SHOULDER TACKLE him! But then Eddie gets up to CHOP Keith down! Fans fire up, and Eddie CLUBS away on Keith’s face! The fans rally for Eddie as he grinds Keith into the ropes. Eddie CHOPS, and CHOPS, and CHOPS again! Keith drops a knee on Eddie’s face! Eddie scrambles away to the outside, but Keith hurries after him. Eddie drags Keith out, CHOPS him, then whips, only for Keith to reverse! Eddie hits railing hard! The fans fire up with Keith and he storms after Eddie.

Keith brings Eddie up, puts him in the ring, and drops another knee! Cover, TWO! Eddie clutches his face but he’s still in this. Eddie sits up to CHOP, but Keith shrugs it off! Eddie CHOPS again, that one stung! Keith frowns, Eddie CHOPS him again! Keith fires boxing elbows! Then he runs up, but into a BELLY2BELLY! The ref has a standing count while both men stir. They both sit up at 4 of 10, and then stand at 6. Eddie reels Keith in but Keith fights the half nelson! Keith has the ROPEBREAK, so Eddie CHOPS him on the back! Eddie then BOOTS Keith down! Eddie pushes Keith to then springboard STOMP! Eddie paces around while Keith clutches his face now. Eddie stands Keith up, whips him to a corner hard, and Keith drops to his knees! Eddie scuffs Keith, gives him Kawada Kicks, but Keith kicks low! Keith gives those Kawada Kicks back! Eddie fires off fast hands from all sides, high and low! Then he digs his boots in!

Keith goes to a corner, huffs and puffs and stands up, but Eddie runs up to clothesline! Eddie fires the MACHINE GUN CHOPS! Keith roars! So Eddie MACHINE GUN CHOPS again! Keith ENZIGIRIS outta nowhere!! Keith goes up, reels Eddie in, but Eddie fights with fists from below! Keith lets Eddie go but gets moving, only for Eddie to catch him in a SLEEPER! The Bounty Hunter fought hard, but fell just shy of the 18 minute mark. Even so, he won everyone’s respect, Eddie’s included. Tony Schiavone joins Eddie in the ring to say, “What a match, guys!” This was a Proving Ground match, Eddie had quite the fight. Eddie says, “Oh, Captain Obvious, Tony Schiavone, folks! Lois rules!” But seriously, talk to Bounty Hunter. Schiavone talks with Texas native Bryan Keith and the fans cheer him on. Hell of a match! And great news: Only in Texas can we announce this, but… Starting tonight, Bryan Keith is ALL ELITE! The fans are thunderous for the graphic!

Keith himself is fired up and honored to be a true AEW star! Eddie and Bryan shake hands and hug it out, but then the other Bryan makes his entrance. Just like last week, the American Dragon has to trample on Eddie’s moment. Bryan shakes Bryan’s hand and raises his hand, and we see Hechicero waiting at gorilla. Will Danielson regret trampling over the Mad King’s moment when the Mad Scientist does the same back? We find out, after the break.

Jon Moxley gathered himself at the end of the show and realized who it even was that attacked him during the show. Volador Jr! Thought that was Daddy Magic for a moment. But what this really reminds him of is this one really bad night in Laredo, Texas. He spent the night in a drunk tank, and more things change, the more they stay the same. He loves Laredo. But the CMLL guys, the greatest luchadores in the world, that’s nice. But the BCC, they study the history of pro-wrestling from all over the world, and they have respect for the history for this sport. A deep respect for the craft and the art of the greatest sport in the world.

So there’s no reason not to show respect to CMLL. The luchadores, the fans in Arena Mexico, and the heritage of lucha libre. “But dude, you came into my house and talked some sh*t, you got in my face. I’m not even mad about it, to be honest with ya. These things happen. But that behavior must be paid for. You think you can come to AEW and think this is like that other show on that other channel. Easy, lazy American wrestlers? Nah, man. This is All Elite Wrestling. And the Blackpool Combat Club is the elite of the elite. Tonight, you showed up in our backyard. You better hope and pray that we never show up in yours.”

Collision returns as the Alchemist of Lucha makes his entrance, fire in his hand! The bell rings and the fans rally up as these two stare down. They circle, feel things out, and Hechi switches hands. He even tries a leg guard advance but Bryan is ready. They knuckle lock, go around forehead to forehead, and then go down to the mat. They push each other with just their heads, and then Hechi shifts to a facelock. Bryan slips out, wrenches and wristlocks, but Hechi moves around. Hechi slips around, slips free, and the fans cheer the technical genius. Hechi and Bryan reset, feel things out, and tie up.

Bryan headlocks, then cravats, but Hechi wrenches free to hammerlock. Hechi drops to then reverse drop toehold into a kneebar. Bryan counters with his own Heel Hook! They fight hook against hook, hold against hold, and the fans rally as both men endure. Hechi and Bryan slap at each other, and the fans fire up! Bryan eggs Hechi on, Hechi SLAPS more! Bryan SLAPS Hechi down, then slips free to jackknife! But Hechi rolls it back to double knuckle lock and headscissor! Hechi balances Bryan while stretching him, then pops him into a sunset flip! TWO!! Bryan slips free, has a leg, but Hechi uses that to RANA!

Hechi gets legs, rolls Bryan back but Bryan slips out and under to trip Hechi up! Bryan then hooks the legs up, and he shows off something lucha libre related he’s learned! Bryan gets the arms and pulls up, up and away! ROMERO SPECIAL! Fans cheer, and Hechi fights free! Hechi hooks Bryan now, and returns the favor! Up, up, and away, ROMERO SPECIAL! The fans fire up as Hechi then rocks ‘n’ rolls Bryan around! ROLLING SURFBOARD, into the ROMERO SPECIAL, and cover! ROPEBREAK! Hechi miscalculated the distance but the fans still cheer as he lets Bryan go. Bryan is a bit frustrated now as the fans cheer Hechicero on.

Bryan and Hechicero reset. They feel things out, and Bryan clinches. Bryan puts Hechi in a corner, KICKS him, then CHOPS! Then KICK! Then CHOP! “YES! “WOO!!” but Hechi blocks to CHOP! So Bryan KICKS, KICKS and KICKS! The fans fire up, Bryan puts Hechi up top, and then Bryan climbs! Bryan hits a SUPER STEINER but Hechi sunset flips through! Cover, TWO!! Bryan escapes, grabs a leg and KICKS it! Hechi crawls to ropes and Bryan brings him up. Bryan UPPERCUTS Hechi down, then whips. Hechi ducks ‘n’ dodges then keeps going, GUILLOTINE HEADSCISSOR! The fans rally, Hechi watches Bryan, then he jumps out to KNEE Bryan down! Hechi drags Bryan up, to CHOP! Bryan hobbles away, Hechi pursues, and Hechi promises uno mas. Hechi aims to CHOP again! The fans fire up for uno mas, so Hechi winds up, to BOOT Bryan! Bryan gets into the ring, Hechi pursues again, and Hechi sits Bryan up to punch away on Bryan’s head! The ref reprimands about closed fists, Hechi argues with him, and then waits on Bryan. Bryan goes to ropes, Hechi BOOTS him again! Hechi waits on Bryan again, then gives him a JAB! JAB! And JAB! Hechi then has the SLEEPER on the ropes! Hechi shoves Bryan away, Bryan runs back in, but Hechi dropkicks the legs out! Bryan tumbles up and out of the ring! Hechi builds speed and FLIES! Direct hit and the fans are thunderous again! Hechi and Bryan stir, and Hechi fires up as he rises! The fans are with Hechi as he puts Bryan in. Hechi climbs a corner, Bryan stands, and Hechi springboards, into a GUTBUSTER! Bryan hauls Hechi up, BUTTERFLY SUPLEX into an ARMBAR! Hechi moves around, but ends up in the LEBELL LOCK!! Hechi endures, reaches out, and fans are dueling! Hechi pries free and rolls!

Hechi CLUBS away on Bryan’s legs, then ties them up, Deathlock into a TRAILER HITCH, with a chicken wing on top! Hechi YANKS Bryan’s fingers but Bryan endures! Both men are down again and the fans are thunderous! Hechi runs into the corner but Bryan dodges! Hechi’s knee hits buckles, Bryan gets the leg! DRAGON SCREW! The fans fire up as Bryan huffs and puffs. Bryan starts up the “YES! YES! YES!” and then runs in, BU- NO, Hechi dodges the knee, rolls him, wrenches him, hooks him up and has the GHOST PIN! TWO!!! Bryan escapes but ends up in a KOJI KLUTCH!! Bryan tries to make it a cover, Hechi holds that off, but Bryan powers through to roll around! Hechi tries a victory, Bryan rolls it back, BRYAN WINS!!

Backstage interview with FTR & Daniel Garcia.

Lexi is with Dax Harwood, Cash Wheeler & #RedDeath and notes the big win in last week’s Steel Cage main event. It was absolutely incredible, so is the plan going to be they keep this going? Garcia says sometimes, the best things in life come unexpectedly. He never planned to team with FTR, but now they’re being nicknamed things like #DGFTR, #FTGarcia. No matching gear yet, maybe they can change that, but it doesn’t matter what you call them or what you think they are, he’s just glad he’s got these two guys by his side.

Cash agrees, they didn’t expect this team-up. But he likes it. He likes having one of the best rising young stars on their side, and the success that they’ve had with him. They closed the chapter with House of Black, so now they’re opening a new one. And Dax isn’t sure if Lexi knows this or not, but the rankings are back. FTR didn’t make the tag team rankings, but that’s fine since the division is chalked full of talent. But the top five they did make is the Trios Rankings. And who knows if they’re starting a new chapter with Christian Cage & The Patriarchy, but they are starting a new chapter as a trio.

The FTW Champion is so ready for a fight with big man Brian Cage, that he’s willing to fight two fairly big guys in Truth Magnum & Turbo Floyd, at the same time! Will the Cold-Hearted Handsome Devil make sure The Machine understands what he’s getting into?

The bell rings and Truth starts against Hook. They tie up, go around, and Truth wrenches. Hook wrenches, wristlocks, then NORTHERN LIGHTS! Truth flounders away, Turbo gets mad and tells him to kill him! Truth runs in but Hook arm-drags! Hook has a top wristlock, but Turbo runs up to stomp Hook down! Hook gets mad and he ROCKS Turbo in return! The ref breaks that up, but Truth pokes Hook in the eye! Truth CLUBS Hook, tags Turbo, and Turbo goes after Hook. Hook throws body shots, but Turbo CLUBS him! Turbo tags Truth, then they double scoop SLAM! The Outrunners spin around but fans boo.

Truth drags Hook up but Hook fires hands! Truth staggers, Turbo tags back in and he CLUBS Hook again. Turbo reels Hook in, winds it up, flexes, but Hook throws body shots! Turbo CLUBS Hook again, tags Truth, and the Outrunners DOUBLE SUPLEX! Fans boo while the Outrunners both flex, but Hook rises right back up! The fans fire up, the Outrunners think that’s for them, but then they see Hook! Hook dodges them, to DOUBLE LARIAT! The fans fire up, Hook clinches Turbo to EXPLODER! Truth storms up, into a clinch! The Outrunners got run out of town, and Hook is looking ready! Will he finally be the answer to “Who betta than Brian Cage?”

He welcomes us back to the Rio Grande Valley, and he says what a night it has been. But welcome out the man who helped FTR & Garcia in that Steel Cage match, it’s MARK BRISCOE! The fans fire up as the Sussex County Chicken makes his way out here, feeling good even after being thrown down through a table! Briscoe joins Schiavone in the ring, and Schiavone says the fans love him. A week ago, Briscoe was there to help FTR, and he was there for them. Briscoe says yeah, that’s what he told ’em. But first thing’s first, he is sure he and Schiavone can agree: It feels damn good to be here in Texas tonight! The fans cheer that!

Schiavone also agrees, and Briscoe says this is very special for him. See, as a young man, a child, he spent his Saturday nights with big brother Jay watching Schiavone on the TV. Schiavone would have the mic and talk to some of the best to ever talk! We’re talking American Dream, Dusty Rhodes, babeh! Nature Boy, Ric Flair, babeh! So this is quite special for Briscoe. And Texas, it feels damn good to be here with Tony Schiavone! The fans cheer that! Briscoe has them simmer down now so we can get serious. Last week, he came out here to the aid of his brothers in arms, FTR, and good friend, Danny Garcia.

Because that’s what we do! We fight for our friends, for our family. Now, Briscoe wasn’t five steps off that stage when he was getting jumped by the House of Black. They stomped his head, picked him up, and threw him off that stage like a sack o’ taters, and left him for dead! But fast-forward to the end, Schiavone, the credits rolled, and it was Briscoe, FTR & Garcia with their hands held high while the House of Black crawled back to the locker room, licking their wounds. This is how they do! You knock ’em down, they’ll get back up. This has been the most challenging year of Briscoe’s life.

After 20 YEARS of being one half of the baddest tag team on the planet, #DemBoyz, give it up for ’em! After 20 years of that, now he is solo. Things didn’t go exactly Briscoe’s way, but that’s alright. Because in the end, you knock him down, he gets back up. You shoot him, you better kill him, dammit! He fights until he can’t fight no more, and then he fights some more! But then the lights go down!! Fans freak out, because from the tron, it’s the House of Black! Malakai says, “Well, well, Briscoe. That’s beautiful. That’s really emotional, very touching. Hey, Mark, you like magic tricks? See, I love magic tricks. And I specifically like the one where the magician makes people disappear.

“Cuz that’s what we intend to do to you and everything you just spoke about. We are going to eradicate you from the history of professional wrestling. And it’ll happen, just like this.” And then the lights come back on! No House of Black but Mark is on guard. “See? It’s that easy. We’re already in your head.” The tron goes back to normal, when and where will the House look to tear Mark down?

“I started this Cope Open to prove to Christian Cage what I’ve always told him: That I’m just better. I also wanted to see who would step up, who wanted it.” The Rated R Superstar has faced Griff Garrison, Lee Moriarty, Dante Martin, and even the legendary Minoru Suzuki. The bell rings and the fans rally for “Deeb! Deeb! Deeb!” Deeb and Aminata circle, tie up, and Deeb headlocks. Aminata powers up but Deeb spins, hammerlocks, headlocks then spins again to go again! Headlock takeover, then a float-over to flip Aminata over, and Deeb stands on her while flexing. Aminata gets up and away and the fans rally. Deeb and Aminata reset, circle, and tie up. Aminata waistlocks, headlocks, wrenches then wristlocks, then steps over to twerk attack! Fans cheer that, and Aminata keeps on the wristlock. Deeb rolls, trips Aminata, then ties up the legs to turn Aminata over, SEATED SURFBOARD!

Aminata endures as Deeb rocks back and forth! Deeb then lets go to body scissor, GEDO CLUTCH! TWO, and the fans cheer the technical display! Aminata laughs it off, feels out a knuckle lock with Deeb, and then Deeb puts on a straitjacket! Aminata slips out to headlock, but Deeb moves around. Aminata sweeps the legs, they stand, and Collision returns to single picture. The fans rally as Deeb fights the knuckle locks, and she kick slow! And again! And again! Deeb rolls, wrangles, and then whips Aminata, but Aminata reverses. Deeb ducks ‘n ‘dodges to LARIAT! The fans fire up while both men are down! Deeb and Aminata rise, and Deeb dodges Aminata again. Deeb KABS, JABS and JABS! She throws more JABS, then winds up, to ROLLING ELBOW!

Deeb hurries to get Aminata up to whip but Aminata reverses. Aminata runs in, blocks the boot, but Deeb uses that to reel her in for a KNEE! Deeb then goes to the apron, catches Aminata, and HOTSHOT NECKBREAKERS! The fans fire up as Aminata staggers away! Deeb storms up, reels Aminata in, TWIST ‘N’ SHOUT! Cover, TWO! Aminata is tough but Deeb brings her back up. Deeb reels Aminata in, tucks the arms, but Aminata back drops! Deeb sunset flips it! Aminata sits for a cover, TWO! Deeb headlocks, Aminata powers out but Deeb turns hip toss into turn and turn and turn, and some more turns, for the backslide! TWO!!

Aminata HEADBUTTS Deeb down!! Fans fire up while Aminata wobbles and falls back! Deeb goes to a corner, Aminata fires back up, and she runs in to HIP ATTACK! Aminata keeps going, she BOOT- NO, Deeb dodges and Aminata crashes into ropes! Deeb wraps Aminata’s legs around the post, and has a very Hitman style HANGING FIGURE FOUR!! The ref counts, fans fire up, and Deeb lets go at 4! Deeb pushes Aminata from the corner, brings her up, and reels her in. Deeb underhooks the arms, but Aminata still fights! Deeb still tries, but Aminata throws body shots! Deeb still TWIST ‘N’ SHOUTS!

The fans fire up as Deeb drags Aminata around, hooks up the arm, and SMASHES the knee! And again and again and! Then SERENITY NOW!! Aminata taps, Deeb wins!

Swerve Strickland is here!

Prince Nana is, too! And Nana does his dance as The Realest makes his entrance. They both go to the ring, Tony Schiavone waiting for them. Schiavone says Wednesday, Dynamite in Phoenix, it is Swerve VS Hangman, part 3, and the winner moves on to face Samoa Joe for the AEW World Championship, AEW Revolution on March 3rd. Schiavone welcomes Nana back, and asks Swerve his thoughts on the coming match. Swerve says it’s Black History Month now. Yes, Happy Black History Month. Swerve says that means it is the celebration of Black history in all industries, all walks of life.

Swerve is noble enough to show appreciation for all those who came before him. Some people even Schiavone may know, like Ron Simmons. How about even some friends of Swerve’s? Kofi Kingston! Or perhaps in house, some people that have been some of the best wrestlers on the planet and holding down a brand for well over a year now. The ROH Women’s World Champion, Athena! What up, sis? And very soon, we’ll add another name to that list. Whose House? “SWERVE’S HOUSE!”

Because this Wednesday, Swerve has the opportunity to accomplish something he said he was gonna do the moment he was in AEW, and that is become THE AEW World Champion. Now, he admits, y’all, he has not been a saint. He has done horrible, terrible, reprehensible things. But he had to do those things to get here, talking to Schiavone. And he doesn’t regret any of it. What about the assertion that Hangman says, that Swerve cannot beat Hangman without help? Nana says whoa, whoa, whoa now, Schiavone. That’s- Swerve has Nana stop there, and the fans chant for “COWBOY SH*T!” But Swerve says Hangman is a man in Swerve’s way of being great.

Hangman is a man that has left scars on Swerve’s body, and has literally shed Swerve’s blood. But also a man that Swerve has beaten twice now. But y’know what it is! Third time’s the charm, right? Maybe this is the time where Swerve finally puts Hangman behind him once and for all, to then become Black History! Then after that, Swerve beats Joe at Revolution to become World Champion! Nana says in the end, Mogul Embassy will be on top, because they will be beside their boss, controlling- Swerve stops Nana here. Swerve tells Nana that we all understand, the Embassy is family. But it’s also business.

And trust Swerve, he wants Nana by his side. But no interference this time. Because there will be no more excuses. Right, Hangman? See you Wednesday. Whose house? “SWERVE’S HOUSE!” Will The Realest be the one to end this once and for all? Or is the third time the charm for Hangman in getting a win over Swerve?

As for Deonna, Toni will see her, and hear her, and sniff her, and taste her. But first! You will see Storm! Luther, book her a “public workout.” Time for the people to see how technical she is! Come, children. Time for cranberry juice and gauze, immediately!

Red Velvet VS Vertvixen!

Speaking of that “public workout,” AKA a match, that will be Storm VS Velvet on Dynamite! Will Velvet prove she’s not just some tune-up with a win tonight? Or will Vert prove she’s not just a tune-up to the tune-up?

The bell rings, Vert and Velvet circle, and they tie up. Velvet waistlocks, headlocks, but Vert powers out. They RAM shoulders but  neither falls. Vert flexes, says get on her level, and then they run. Velvet drops to then CALF KICK Vert down! Cover, ONE!! Velvet grins as she gets Vert up, but Vert knees low. Vert scoops Velvet, Velvet slips free and shoves, to then duck ‘n’ dodges and wheelbarrow, for the BULLDOG! The fans fire up and Vert storms up on Vert. Velvet fires off haymakers, but lets off to go corner to corner. Vert dodges, comes back, but Velvet ELBOWS her! Velvet runs up, wheelbarrows, but Vert makes it a BLUE THUNDER BOMB! Cover, TWO!

Velvet kicks Vert away then goes to a corner. The fans rally, Vert goes corner to corner, then BOOTS Velvet! Vert reels Velvet in, wrenches and BLUE- CROSSBODY! Cover, TWO! The fans rally, Velvet counter punches Vert again and again then whips. Vert reverses but Velvet holds ropes. Velvet drop toehold Vert onto ropes, runs and DOUBLE KNEES! Velvet YANKS the ropes, then sets up for the MIXER! Cover, Velvet wins!

Captain Charisma sits smugly on his high horse as AEW TNT Champion, protected by his “sons,” Nick Wayne & “Killswitch” Luchasaurus. But will he be humbled by the hot new trio of Dax, Cash & Red Death? Or will even #FTGarcia be held down by The Patriarchy?

Matt Menard is on commentary to cheer Garcia on, but he does admit that there is respect for The Patriarchy with what Christian has done for Nick Wayne. Speaking of, Nick starts against Dax and the fans rally up. They tie up, and Nick arm-drags Dax away. Nick flexes, the fans boo, but of course “Mother” Shayna cheers. Nick and Dax tie up again, Nick wrenches and wristlocks but Dax rolls. Dax wrenches, headlocks and hits a takeover. Nick headscissors, Dax kips free and ducks the haymaker to CHOP Nick! Nick flounders away, Dax dares “daddy” to get in, so Christian tags in. Fans boo Christian and he acts confused.

Christian and Dax circle, tie up, and Dax headlocks. Christian powers out, but Dax runs him over! Things keep moving, and Dax turns back drop into cradle! TWO! Dax O’Conner Rolls, TWO! Christian kicks low, soaks up heat, and he scoops, but Dax makes it a cradle! TWO! Christian scrambles away and Dax says it was that close. Nick tags back in, talks trash on Dax, then SLAPS him! Fans boo but Dax smirks. Nick dares him to do something, so Dax tags Garcia! Garcia and Nick circle, tie up, and Garcia headlocks. Nick powers up and out, but Garcia runs Nick over! Things keep moving, Garcia runs Nick over!

Things speed up, Nick hurdles and arm-drags, but Garcia arm-drags! Nick sweeps, covers, ONE! Garcia sweeps and covers, ONE! The two young studs stare down and Garcia scuffs Nick. Garcia puts up his dukes, but Nick SLAPS him! Fans boo as Nick mocks the dance! Mama Shayna applauds but Garcia SLAPS nick! Nick runs in but Garcia DUMPS hm out! Christian runs in, Garcia DUMPS him out! The fans fire up, and Garcia puts up his dudes! Luchasaurus storms in but FTR storm in, too! The fans fire up for this stare down, and Christian has Luchasaurus back off while Collision goes picture in picture.

FTR stands with Garcia to put their dukes up, and they ALL do the dance! FTR aren’t perfect but they’re better than Nick! The fans rally up while Christian coaches Nick. Nick and Garcia circle, then Nick kicks low! Nick CLUBS Garcia, has him on ropes, and brings him over to tag in Killswitchasaurus. They mug Garcia, then Luchasaurus fires off fast hands! Luchasaurus drags Garcia up to scoop him, carry him around, then tag Nick back in. SIDEWALK SLAM to a slingshot SENTON! Cover, TWO! Nick brings Garcia up and around with a facelock, then snapmares to KICK Garcia on the back! Garcia grits his teeth while going to ropes.

Nick drags Garcia up to wrench and facelock but Garcia breaks free. Garcia CHOPS, but Nick DECKS him! Tag to Christian and he taunts FTR. After all, they’re mutual friends of the Rated R Superstar. Nick digs his boots in on Garcia, then lets off so Christian can scuff Garcia. Garcia scowls while Christian soaks up the heat. Garcia fires haymakers! Garcia runs, Christian ELBOWS him down, and Collision goes to break.

Collision returns once again as Luchasaurus CLUBS Garcia down. Garcia goes to the corner, Luchasaurus tags Christian, and they mug Garcia. Fans boo but Christian puts Garcia on ropes. Christian stands on Garcia to CHOKE him! The fans boo, the ref counts, and Christian lets off. Luchasaurus gets a cheap shot in! Christian drags Garcia up, snapmares and fishhooks the face! The ref reprimands so Christian shifts to a chinlock. Garcia endures, the fans rally, and Garcia fights up with body shots! Garcia runs, into a throat chop! The fans boo but Christian puts Garcia in the corner. Christian slaps Garcia around while Nick holds him back!

The ref counts, the fans boo, and Christian lets off. FTR wants in but the ref keeps him back. Christian soaks up heat, runs in, but Garcia BOOTS him! Garcia fires elbows on Christian’s “sons” then runs, only for Christian to catch him! Christian brings Garcia around but Garcia sunset flips! TWO!! Christian escapes and he ELBOWS Garcia down again! Fans boo but Christian goes up a corner. Christian DIVING HEADBUTTS but FLOPS as Garcia moves! Menard and the fans fire up as Garcia crawls, but Christian also heads for his corner. Hot tags to Nick and Cash! Cash rallies on Nick with JAB, JAB and HAYMAKER!

Cash DROPKICKS Luchasaurus, atomic drops Christian then DROPKICKS him! Cash runs up to CHOP Nick! And UPPERCUT! And CHOP! Cash whips corner to corner but Nick elbows, into a backslide! TWO, and Nick whips. Cash hurdles, Dax tags, then feed to the lift! Luchasaurus storms in to choke grip Dax! Cash leaps in, but into a choke grip! But FTR fire off haymakers! Luchasaurus shoves them both away! Cash BOOTS back, then LARIATS! Dax LARIATS! Cash LARIATS! Repeat! Luchasaurus wobbles, FTR LARIATS, then hits a HIGH-LOW!! Fans fire up but Nick rolls Dax! TWO!! Nick sunset flip BOMBS, then covers, TWO!!

Fans rally up but Nick looks to the corner. Nick drags Dax to a drop zone, goes up the corner, but Dax SHOVES Nick down! Nick is stuck up top, Dax CLUBS him on the back! Dax goes up after Nick, stands him up, and hits a SUPER BACK SUPLEX!! Both men are down and the fans are thunderous! Dax and Nick stir, Dax crawls over to cover, Luchasaurus breaks it!! He DECKS Cash, BOOTS Garcia, then choke grips Dax! But Dax kicks low, reels Luchasaurus in, but Luchasaurus back drops free! The ref reprimands Luchasaurus, but misses Christian HOTSHOT Dax! Luchasaurus choke grips, to CHOKE SLAM!! Nick hurries to cover, TWO!!!

The fans are thunderous as Dax survives! Nick is frustrated, and Collision goes picture in picture, again!

Nick drags Dax up, CLUBS the arm, then bumps him off buckles. Tag to Christian, they mug Dax, then Christian fires hands! Christian UPPERCUTS as he lets off, eggs on Cash, then goes back to Dax. Christian brings Dax out, turns him, and hits a NECKBREAKER! Cover, TWO! Dax goes to ropes, Christian CHOKES him, but lets off as the ref counts. Christian argues with the ref, and Nick gets a cheap shot in! The others protest, but Nick tags in. Nick ROPE GUILLOTINES Dax, and Dax sputters away to the commentary desk. Nick soaks up the heat, Garcia & Cash coach Dax, but Nick drags Dax back in.

Nick pushes Dax to the corner, tags in Luchasaurus and they mug Dax. Luchasaurus UPPERCUTS Dax, whips him corner to corner hard and Dax falls back. Luchasaurus drags Dax up, hammerlocks, and CLUBS that arm. Dax CHOPS back! Luchasaurus snarls, knees low, and puts Dax back in the corner. Tag to Christian, he UPPERCUTS, body shots, and repeat. Christian throws haymakers, Collision returns to single picture and Dax CHOPS! And CHOPS! And CHOPS again! Fans fire up but Christian DECKS Dax! Christian whips, Dax reverses and back drops Christian away! The fans fire up while both men are down!

Christian and Dax stir as the standing count starts. Hot tag to Nick and he ELBOWS Garcia! The ref keeps Cash back, Nick kicks Dax to the corner. Nick fires forearms, then soaks up the heat. Nick runs in, into a BOOT! Dax ROCKS Luchasaurus, ROCKS Christian and ROCKS Nick, but Nick kicks low. Nick reels Dax in to suplex! Cover, TWO! Nick clamps on a chinlock to grind Dax down. Dax endures, the fans rally up, and Dax fights up. Dax reaches out, arm-drags free, but Nick swings, only for Dax to get him with a BIG back suplex! Both men are down again and the standing count is back!

Nick flounders, hot tag to Christian! He TOSSES Dax out! Christian taunts Cash, Luchasaurus rushes Dax, but Dax sends him into steel steps! Luchasaurus tumbles away, Dax slides in! Christian kicks, chicken wings, but no Killswitch! Christian comes back, and HEADS COLLIDE! Both men fall and the fans fire up again! Dax and Christian crawl, hot tag to Nick! Nick rushes in to intercept, but Dax back drops him away! Hot tag to Garcia! The fans are thunderous as Garcia rallies on Nick! BOOT! CHOP! CHOP! SAIDO!! The fans fire up, Garcia runs corner to corner, big lariat! Then Garcia climbs up, but Christian is back!

Garcia fires off on Christian! Nick runs up, Garcia fires off on him! Cash RAMS Christian into a corner! He and Garcia go up to rain down fists! They go all the way to TEN! Then they send Nick and Christian at each other, but the Patriarchy reverses! Garcia & Cash dosido a bit sloppily, but then they both LARIAT The Patriarchy! The fans fire up, Cash helps Garcia up to whip, so that Garcia can whip Cash! Cash uses that to DIVE out onto Luchasaurus! The fans are thunderous again as down goes the dinosaur! BRAINBUSTER for Nick!! Cover, TWO!! Nick survives and Garcia snarls. The fans rally as Garcia rises and stalks Nick.

“This is Awesome!” as Garcia gets Nick’s legs! He steps through but Nick CLAWS Garcia’s face! Nick KNEES Garcia into the POST! Then FISHERMAN SUPLEX! Bridging cover, TWO!! Not quite perfect and Nick is frustrated! Shayna coaches her son on and Nick rises. The fans rally for Garcia but Nick mocks the dance again. Fans boo, Nick talks smack while standing over Garcia. Nick slaps Garcia around, but then Garcia snatches him to a cradle! TWO!! Nick gets around, chicken wings, and he turns Garcia! Garcia uses that to back suplex! Nick lands on his feet but Garcia kicks low to TWIST ‘N’ SHOUT! Cover, TWO!!

Garcia grits his teeth and the fans rally as hard as they can! Garcia hurries to a corner, climbs up, but Christian rushes over! Christian trips Garcia up, but Dax CHOPS Christian! Dax and Christian brawl on the apron, Dax gets the edge but the ref reprimands. Garcia climbs up, Nick stands, but Christian still SHOVES Garcia into WAYNE’S WORLD!! Dax rushes Christian again, but ends up in a REVERSE DDT to the floor! Nick covers Garcia, TWO!?!? Nick can’t believe it but Garcia survives his best shot! Nick hauls Garcia up, but Garcia knees the suplex. Nick tries again but Cash is there to make the save!

Nick swings, misses, and Cash catches Nick for a SPINNING POWERSLAM! Luchasaurus gets Cash for a CHOKE SLAM! Luchasaurus runs at Garcia in the corner, Garcia dodges and Luchasaurus only gets buckles! Garcia POSTS Luchasaurus! Christian aims, he runs in, SPEAR!!! Dax TACKLES Christian, and has the legs! SHARPSHOOTER!! Nick runs up the corner, WAYNE’S WORLD!!! Nick then aims at Garcia and looks to go Rated R! Garcia flounders up, Nick runs in, but the spear is sent into buckles! Nick still ELBOWS Garcia, goes up, but Garcia avoids the cutter to jackknife bridge! FTGARCIA WINS!!!

Christian is shocked! And Garcia stares him down, to DO HIS DANCE! The Patriarchy falls, will #DGFTR head towards gold one way or another?

My Thoughts:

A really good Collision here, with some story build happening again after some struggles. I do like that they gave us two weeks in a row of Bryan Danielson interrupting Eddie Kingston’s moment to hype up their coming title match. Great match from Eddie VS Bryan Keith, though I figured Eddie would win. But also great to hear that AEW has officially signed Bryan Keith after months now of using him both on AEW and ROH programming. And Bryan Danielson VS Hechicero was awesome stuff, great technical wrestling, especially Hechicero’s creative take on “llave” technical lucha. Bryan of course wins there, and with that and Moxley’s promo, it makes sense to have a trios match for Phoenix now.

Great promo from Swerve, especially with the namedrops he gave. And I like that he made it clear that Swerve VS Hangman part 3 will be a fair 1v1 fight. As I said for Dynamite, there’s a possibility they make this a draw of some kind so that they both get their shot at Samoa Joe at Revolution. Using a Triple Threat for an “opportunistic” finish can help keep all three men strong while still having a winner, such as Joe retaining or Swerve finally winning the world title. Really good promo from Toni Storm and her group to call out Deonna, motivate the match with Red Velvet, and have Storm again be dismissive of Mariah.

Velvet had a good match and good win over Vert, but I really liked that she took it upon herself to name-drop the ROH Women’s TV title since ROH gets mostly forgotten by AEW. Really good match of Deeb VS Aminata, with Deeb of course winning but Aminata looking her best yet. If it isn’t Billie Starkz winning the ROH Women’s TV title, then why not give it to Aminata? She has proven herself match after match to be a great talent, she’s gotta get something. And a decent handicap squash match where Hook beats both Outrunners. Hook should be a bit more careful doing back drops when he isn’t all that big yet. But of course he wins, he now has momentum going into his match with Brian Cage.

Great promo from Mark Briscoe to tie him deeper into this House of Black story. I said last week that there could be an 8 Man Tag brewing, where the House gets a fourth man so Briscoe can joins FTR & Garcia. And if commentary in the main event was any indication, it could be Menard turning to the dark side. He was only moderately happy that Garcia won in the end there, but that could also just be Menard not wanting Garcia to leave the former Jericho Appreciation Society behind completely. The main event was great stuff, especially for it being the first match Christian, Luchasaurus & Nick Wayne have had in over a month. And I do like that they’re also setting Garcia up for a potential singles title shot against Christian while Edge still “earns” his way back up.
