Jon Moxley VS Dax Harwood!

The Blackpool Combat Club has been daring people to step up, and FTR did just that! They brawled on Collision and now The Maniac and #DaxTheAx battle here on Dynamite. Will Moxley prove the BCC are the elite of All Elite Wrestling? Or will Dax show everyone that FTR are still the #TopGuys?

The bell rings and the fans rally up for “FTR! FTR!” Dax stares down Mox, they circle and feel things out, and the fans start dueling. Dax and Mox still circle, tie up, and go around. Dax puts Mox in a corner, Mox turns that around, and the ref counts. The two scrap and let off, then Mox flips Dax off. Dax smirks, resets with Mox, and Dax headlocks. Mox gets free but Dax gets around to shove Mox, and then Dax flips Mox off! Fans fire up as the two reset, tie up, and go around again. Mox puts Dax in a corner, then goes up to taunt Dax. Then Mox kisses Dax on the cheek! Happy Valentine’s Day!

Mox then dares Dax to hit him, so Dax gives him a kiss! Dax fires off forearms and CHOPS then just HAMMERS away in the corner! The ref counts, Mox shoves Dax away then kicks low. Mox fires forearms and CHOPS, and fans “WOO~!” Mox ROCKS, CHOPS, but Dax CHOPS and CHOPS! Dax CHOPS more, Mox gets away but Dax pursues. Mox turns things around to fire body shots and forearms! The ref counts, Mox fires faster shots, then BITES Dax’s bald head! The ref counts, Mox lets off and Dax CHOPS! And CHOPS! And CHOPS! Dax ROCKS Mox, bumps him off buckles, then JABS! And CHOPS!

Dax JABS, CHOPS and repeat! The fans fire up as Dax fires hands from all sides! The ref counts, Dax lets off and then brings Mox around, only for Mox to put Dax back in a corner. Mox fires overhand CHOPS again and again, then he stomps and kicks Dax down. The ref counts and reprimands but Dax digs his boots in! The ref counts again, Mox lets off, but Dax headlocks. Mox powers up and out but Dax runs him over! Things speed up, Dax slides under, but Mox gets around to SLEEPER! Dax flails and reaches out but Mox shifts to the BULLY CHOKE! Dax endures, the fans duel, and Dax shifts to roll Mox up, TWO!

Dax steps through the legs! Mox fights Dax off with kicks from below! Dax falls back, Mox storms up to clothesline Dax up and out! Dax tumbles to the floor and fans fire up again. Moxley storms out after Dax, brings Dax up and claws the eyes! Then Mox RAMS Dax into the railing! Dax tumbles up and over, Mox soaks up the heat from fans, then he grabs a chair. Mox sets that up near the railing but Dax CHOPS and CHOPS and JABS in return! Moxley ROCKS Dax, and again, but Dax hits back! Dax hurries up and over but Moxley kicks low! Mox trips Dax hard, then uses the legs to CATAPULT Dax into a POST!

Fans are feeling that one as Dax flops around! Moxley storms over while the ring count climbs. Moxley snarls as he hears it pass 5 of 10. Moxley drags Dax up, puts him in the ring, then slides in at 8. Moxley stalks Dax, climbs up the corner, and he DIGS his nails into Dax’s head! Moxley rains down fists, the fans count along, but Dax stops it at five! Dax brings Moxley out to SITOUT POWERBOMB! Cover, TWO! Mox is still in this but Dax brings him back in. Dax suplexes but Mox blocks! Mox and Dax go to ropes, Dax suplexes Mox and himself up and out of the ring! They hit apron and then the floor while Dynamite goes picture in picture!

The ref checks both Moxley and Dax, they’re both somehow okay to continue. Dax and Moxley slowly rise, Moxley getting to his feet first. Moxley staggers around, Dax slowly stands, and both men jump in at 9 of 10! The fans cheer as both men go forehead to forehead. They stand up and go haymaker for haymaker! Dax staggers, but he comes back to ROCK Moxl! Mox ROCKS Dax! They go back and forth with shots, faster and faster, then Mox trips Dax to a FIGURE FOUR LEGLOCK! The fans fire up and Dax endures! Dax reaches out, punches at Moxley’s legs, but Mox puts on more pressure! Dax falls back, it’s a cover! TWO!!

Dax reaches out, and he CLAWS Moxley’s face! The ref reprimands but Mox lets Dax go. Mox KICKS Dax’s leg out, then steps through, to an INDIAN DEATHLOCK! Dax endures again, and he CHOPS! And CHOPS! And CHOPS! Moxley CLAWS Dax’s face! The ref reprimands, Moxley lets off to sit up and rain down forearms! Dax endures, still in the deathlock, but then Moxley shifts to a cover, TWO! Dax is free of the hold, but Moxley stalks him to ropes. Dynamite returns to single picture as Mox CHOPS Dax! And CLUBS him! The fans duel as Mox CHOPS again. Moxley whips but Dax blocks by holding ropes!

Mox ROCKS Dax, but Dax CHOPS Mox! They go CHOP for CHOP and fans “WOO~” with each one! Moxley ROCKS Dax with a forearm, but Dax ROCKS him back! They go back and forth with forearms now, then Dax CHOPS again! Moxley choke grips Dax, Dax choke grips Mox! They both break free, then Mox SLAPS! Dax SLAPS! The fans fire up for the SLAP fight! The shots go fast and furious and then both men wobble! They DOUBLE SLAP and they both fall back! The fans fire up again, and Moxley finds his way to a corner. Moxley steadies himself, Dax rises up, and Dax storms up to CHOP! Then he hoists Moxley up top!

Dax sits Mox up to CHOP! Dax climbs up, but Moxley reels him in! TOP ROPE GUILLOTINE!! The ref reprimands and counts, but Dax fights the hold, so Moxley CLAWS Dax’s back! Moxley then ROCKS Dax! Dax holds onto ropes but Mox ROCKS him again and again, and again! Dax stays up and the fans fire up, but Mox throws more shots! Dax holds on and rises again! But Moxley BITES a hand! Then he DECKS Dax to the mat! Mox says hook ’em horns for Texas, and then adjusts up top. But Dax springs right up to ROCK Mox! Dax climbs to the very top, brings Moxley up to join him, for the SUPER DUPER PLEX!

The fans are thunderous while both men are down! A standing count begins, both men stir at 4 of 10. They head for each other at 5, and they junkyard dog headbutt! They ram again and again, then stand up for Moxley to kick, forearm and KICK! Dax staggers Mox ROCKS him then whips him, but Dax reverses to wrench and short arm LARIAT! But Moxley stays up! Dax LARIATS again, and again, but Moxley dodges to LARIAT! Dax stays up! Dax LARIATS Mox down! But Mox juts rises up! Dax dodges the lariat to go for the arm but Mox rolls! Dax uses that to step through, SHARPSHOOTER!!

The fans are thunderous as we hit the five minute warning!! Moxley flails, endures as Dax sits deep, and Moxley fights. Mox turns over, kicks Dax away, then gets the arms for DRAGON STOMPS! The fans fire up as Mox then shifts to the ARMBAR! Dax clasps hands to block, but Moxley pulls as hard as he can! Dax uses that to stack Moxley for a cover, TWO and Moxley lets Dax go! Mox reels Dax in, but Dax fights the lift! Dax wrenches, tries to do the same, but Moxley powers up! Dax CLAWS Moxley’s back! But Moxley still back drops free! Dax sunset flips it! Mox rolls through that, rolls Dax to his feet, but falls for Dax’s feint! PILEDRIVER!!

The fans are thunderous as Dax crawls to the cover, TWO!! Moxley survives but Dax is too tired to be frustrated. “This is Awesome!” as Moxley bails out and Dax pursues. Dax CHOPS Mox again, then CHOPS again! Moxley goes back into the ring, uses the ref as a shield so he can kick the ropes! Dax gets jammed up, Mox hits a CUTTER! Then the CURB STOMP! Then a PILEDRIVER of his own!! Cover, TWO?!? Dax survives and shocks everyone! Time is running out but the fans love this all the same! Moxley snarls as he drags Dax back up. Mox aims a finger gun then runs, but Dax ROCKS Mox first!

Dax reels Mox in, Mox wrenches out to underhook, but Dax wrenches out of that! Suplex to the BRAINBUSTER!! Cover, TWO?!? Now Mox shocks everyone! Dax hurries to a corner and climbs right up! DIVING HEADBUTT into a REAR NAKED CHOKE!! Moxley squeezes tight, body scissors locked in! Dax flails but he’s fading! He’s so red in the face! But his hand reaches out! Moxley thrashes Dax around, Dax taps! Mox wins!!

Winner: Jon Moxley, by submission

But Moxley isn’t letting go! The ref tells him to stop, and then Cash Wheeler rushes out here! Cash punches away on Moxley, but Claudio CLOBBERS Cash! Claudio CLUBS Cash, reels him in, NEUTRALIZER!! The fans are torn as the BCC shows no respect to FTR! Moxley then gets Dax back in the REAR NAKED CHOKE! And Claudio puts Cash in a CROSSFACE! Cash endures and Dax fades out! BCC lets FTR go, showing no mercy. Will they do the same to all teams that stand in their way and the top spots in AEW?

BREAKING NEWS for Blackpool Combat Club!

With all of the AEW VS CMLL action, especially between the BCC and the luchadores, that on March 29th, Moxley, Claudio, Bryan and even Wheeler Yuta are going down to Arena Mexico to battle Mistico, Volador Jr, Blue Panther y Ultimo Guerrero in an 8 Man Tag! Will AEW return the favor with a win South of the border?

Backstage interview with The Don Callis Family.

Renee Paquette is with Konosuke Takeshita, “Powerhouse” Will Hobbs, and Don Callis himself as she notes Takeshita’s incredible roll. He beat Darby Allin, has two wins on Kenny Omega, and then did the unthinkable: He tapped Chris Jericho out with Jericho’s own move, the Walls of Jericho. What is next for the DCF now? Callis says they’re a victim of their own success! No one wants to wrestle Takeshita, Takeshita is the best rope to rope wrestler in the world. No one wants to wrestle Hobbs, either! The DCF has all the talent, and Revolution is coming. The best wrestler in the world needs to be on that PPV! The DCF needs to be on that PPV!

But they can’t find the talent for Takeshita, so Callis realized, he’s got all the talent right here! He looked within the family, and will give us a match that will have us all talking not just for years, but for decades! It will be DCF VS DCF when we see Konosuke Takeshita VS… Will Ospreay! Wait, Callis is willingly pitting “family members” against each other? Well, when Callis was growing up, Papa Callis would have a few drinks late at night, then make Don and his brothers fight in the backyard, every thing was fine with them. But the best part of this is that no matter what, the Don Callis Family wins.

And at the end of Revolution, no one will be talking about Sting! Everyone will be talking about Hobbs, Takeshita, Ospreay, Fletcher and the Don Callis Family’s Match of the Decade! A huge move by the malevolent mastermind, but will Ospreay appreciate this big money move by Callis?

Wardlow VS Barrett Brown!

The Undisputed Kingdom’s War Dog continues his warpath up the ranks, and surely has one eye on the AEW World Championship Triple Threat that’s looming. Will the Maestro of Mayhem have a symphony waiting for the winner on the other side of Revolution? Or will one of Austin, Texas’ own catch him off guard?

Adam Cole is on commentary for this, wanting to keep an eye on his Kingdom’s war machine. The bell rings and the fans chant for “WARD~LOW! WARD~LOW!” Wardlow stares Brown down, Brown storms up but Wardlow then powers him to a corner! Wardlow glares at Brown, the ref counts, so Wardlow drags Brown out to haul him right up top! WAR HAMMER already!! Wardlow grins and flexes while the ref checks. Wardlow admires himself on the tron and Cole smiles, and somehow Brown is still conscious! Cole says let’s wrap this up, so Wardlow gets Brown up, for a LAST RIDE!! Cover, Wardlow wins!

Winner: Wardlow, by pinfall

Cole says it was a pleasure to talk with everyone, though he barely said a thing. Wardlow scrapes Brown out of the ring, will he have his hands on gold soon enough?

AEW shares footage of The Young Bucks arriving earlier today.

And despite it being an entire week since their heinous attack on Sting & Darby Allin, Matthew & Nicholas Jackson still wear the blood-stained suits! They said it’s a lovely day, and they’re ready to get to work. But will Darius & Dante Martin humble the arrogant EVPs on the road to Revolution?

AEW TNT Championship #1 Contender’s Match: Adam “Edge” Copeland VS Daniel Garcia!

Though Christian Cage would never admit to it, it’s clear he fears both men in this match. The Patriarchy had to cheat to beat the living legend, and then they lost to the Red Death. Will Revolution get Rated R when Edge comes back for revenge? Or will Garcia prove he is the greatest wrestler of his generation by defeating one of the greatest of all time?

“Daddy Magic” Matthew Menard is on commentary to support Garcia. The bell rings and the fans rally up as the two circle. They feel things out, knuckle lock, then Edge ROCKS Garcia with a forearm! Edge KNEES Garcia to ropes, fires more forearms, then bumps Garcia off buckles. Edge fires more forearms, but lets off as the ref counts. The fans rally for “DANNY! DANNY!” and “ADAM! ADAM!” Edge wrenches and WRINGS Garcia’s arm out, and Garcia writhes. Edge clamps on the CROSSFACE but Garcia rolls it to a cover! ONE, so Garcia rolls and has a leg! ANKLE LOCK! Edge flails and scrambles to the ROPEBREAK!

Garcia lets go, Edge of course knows a lot about taking an Ankle Lock. The fans rally as the two reset and circle again. They tie up then fire forearms! Edge headlocks, Garcia body shots and powers free, only for Edge to run him over! Things speed up, Garcia hurdles, but Edge SPLASHES on the dropdown! Cover, TWO! Garcia kicks at Edge so Edge KICKS Garcia in the side! Edge stalks Garcia to a corner, then CHOKES him on ropes! The ref counts, Edge lets off, and the fans continue to duel. Edge drags Garcia up, headlocks, but Garcia wrenches out to elbow low. Garcia headlocks, Edge powers out, and Edge runs Garcia over again!

Things keep moving, Garcia drops down then hurdles again. Garcia drops down again, but avoids the splash! Garcia has the Oklahoma Roll, TWO! Garcia sweeps the legs and covers, ONE! Edge runs into a drop toehold, and Garcia uses that to hook the leg! Garcia then hooks up both legs, CLUBS Edge on the back, then does his dance! Then he STOMPS both knees! Edge writhes, but Garcia drags Edge up to fire forearms. Garcia CHOPS Edge to a corner, whips him corner to corner, but Edge reverses. Edge runs up but into a BOOT! Garcia hops up the corner to body scissor and he fires off elbow after elbow!

Edge wobbles, Garcia goes up again, and CROSSBODIES, but into Edge’s arms! Edge shifts to SHOULDER BREAKER! Garcia writhes while the fans fire up, and Edge drags Garcia back up. Edge whips Garcia hard into buckles, and Garcia falls back as Dynamite goes picture in picture.

Edge rises, has the ref move aside, and he runs to baseball slide dropkick Garcia outta the ring! Edge rests, does a backstroke, then mocks Garcia’s dance! Edge adds his own bit to it, then fetches Garcia. But Garcia fires off haymakers! Garcia whips, Edge reverses and Garcia is sent into steel steps! Edge stares Menard down, stalks Garcia, and Edge waves hi to fans in the front row. Edge has them move aside as he stands Garcia up and pushes him against railing! The ref reprimands as Edge fishhooks Garcia’s mouth! Edge lets off at 4 then soaks up the cheers and jeers. Edge borrows a fan’s sunglasses, then BREAKS them!?

Edge drags Garcia up, puts him in the ring, and then watches Garcia sit up. Edge runs up to KNEE Garcia in the back! Garcia writhes, but Edge slaps him around. Edge clamps on a chinbar armlock combo but Garcia endures. The fans rally, and Edge pushes that forearm into Garcia’s face. Garcia fights up, pries at the hold, then bounces to pop free! Dynamite returns to single picture as Garcia fires hands, but Edge BOOTS Garcia down! Edge stalks Garcia to a corner, puts him in a drop zone, and then goes up top. But Garcia rises to go after Edge! Edge and Garcia scrap as Garcia climbs, and Edge HOTSHOTS Garcia down!

The fans are torn as Edge storms his way back up the corner. But Garcia springs back up to trip Edge! Edge is stuck up top, and the fans fire up as Garcia goes after him! Garcia has a leg, SUPER DRAGON SCREW! Edge clutches his knee and the fans are thunderous as Garcia rises. Garcia fires hands on Edge, backs Edge down with shot after shot, then stomps away in the corner! The ref counts, Garcia digs his boots in, but still lets off so he can run side to side, BOOT WASH! Garcia drags Edge up but Edge fights the saido! Garcia still tries, but Edge CLUBS him! So Garcia gets the leg! DRAGON SCREW, and then a KNEE JAMMER!

The fans fire up and Garcia snarls as he looms over Edge. Garcia gets the bad leg, and drops an elbow right on the knee! And then another elbow on the knee! But Edge shifts around to go after an arm! FUJIWARA ARMBAR! But Garcia powers that to get an STF!! Another move Edge has felt in the past, and he reaches out! Garcia crabs an arm, half nelson modification! Edge still fights, headlocks out of the nelson, and then facelocks. Edge brings Garcia up, but Garcia wrenches out! Edge CLUBS away on Garcia but Garcia hits back! They brawl, the fans fire up, and Garcia kicks the bad leg! Garcia grabs it but Edge throws hands!

Garcia INVERTED DRAGON SCREWS the leg! The different direction catches Edge, and the fans fire up again! Garcia goes up a corner as Edge rises up. Edge hurries to CLUB Garcia! Edge climbs up but the bad leg slows him down. Garcia fires hands on that leg but Edge fires hands on Garcia’s back! Edge brings Garcia up, SUPER IMPALER!! Garcia writhes but Edge can’t make the cover! Edge crawls to a corner, rises up again, and the fans are thunderous! Edge aims as Garcia rises, and he runs in to- KNEE!! Garcia jackknife bridges, TWO!!! Edge escapes, scrambles to get Garcia’s arm, CROSSFACE!!

Garcia endures, reaches out, but NICK WAYNE ATTACKS! Killswitch/Luchasaurus is there with him, The Patriarch just screwed this whole thing up!! Nick stomps Garcia, Killswitchasaurus BOOTS Edge down! The fans boo as The Patriarchy mugs Garcia, with Christian Cage & “Mother” Shayna Wayne walking down the ramp. Captain Charisma saunters his way around the ring while fans boo as hard as they can, then he goes looking under the ring. Christian brings out two chairs! But Daddy Magic says NO! He takes a chair, now he and Christian have a standoff! But Luchasaurus CLOBBERS Menard from behind!

Fans boo again and Christian says that’s what Menard gets. The chairs are brought into the ring, Luchasaurus hauls Garcia up, JURASSIC CHOKE SLAM! Fans boo but then Nick drags Garcia onto a chair! Christian has the other, but then Edge gets in with a chair of his own! Edge JAMS Nick, JAMS Luchasaurus, then SMACKS Luchasaurus down! Edge and Christian have a showdown, the chairs CLASH and Christian is disarmed! Garcia gets to safety as Edge storms up on Christian! But Shayna LOW BLOWS Edge!! The fans boo but now Christian stomps away on Edge! Christian feeds Edge to WAYNE’S WORLD!

Luchasaurus hauls Edge up, EXTINCTION LARIAT! Fans chant, “Christian Sucks!” but he just smiles as he now sets Edge up on a chair! And he gets the other chair, tells Edge this is what he gets for still pursuing him, and then takes aim! CON-CHAIR-TO!!! The Patriarchy stand over the Rated R Superstar and Christian raises the TNT Championship. What lows won’t Christian sink to in order to hold onto that belt?

Samoa Joe is here!

The fans fire up for the AEW World Champion as he makes his way to the ring, ready for the face-to-face-to-face with his two challengers. The fans chant for “JOE! JOE! JOE!” as he gets the mic. “My name is Samoa Joe, and I stand here proudly your AEW World Champion.” The fans cheer that, and Joe says tonight he comes with the spirit of apology. When he became champion, he reenacted the ranking system to make sure that only the very best victims were served up in front of him to destroy and continue his championship reign. “And everything was going so well, until last week when Hangman Adam Page and Swerve Strickland came out here, battled tooth and nail for 30 minutes, to a draw.”

Fans boo the draw, and Joe says somehow, someway, he thought the Championship Committee would kick those two to the back of the line. But no, they took a page out of the Texas playbook to make this match bigger and dumber. Fans are a little torn on that line, but Joe says it seems we reward mediocrity around here. And instead of telling those pretenders they don’t deserve to be contenders, now at Revolution, Joe finds himself in a Triple Threat. “Obviously a crime has been committed against me, and now there must be repercussions. So I guarantee you this: You send your two bright stars into the ring with me, and I guarantee I am hurting one, if not both of them! So they may walk in, but I guarantee they will both limp out.”

The fans fire up for that! Joe says that he stands here the AEW World Champion, and there is nothing anyone can do about that. But then “Whose House?” “SWERVE’S HOUSE!” The fans fire up as Prince Nana leads the way for The Realest, doing his dance. Swerve already has a mic, and he steps into the ring. The fans chant, “Whose House?” “SWERVE’S HOUSE!” Swerve tells Joe, “When we started this whole thing, like I said, this wasn’t supposed to be personal, right? But as we inch closer and closer to Revolution, and the more that you run your mouth, I can’t help but get the feeling it’s becoming personal.”

Swerve tells Joe that when Joe won the title, Joe said… The fans cheer as Swerve seems to need a second to think. Swerve then says Joe said that the new championship protocol was about people showing up with their reputation and with their resumes. And also that hunger is what defines the greats. Well then if you look at Swerve, you’re looking at one of the greatest of all time. Fans cheer that! “No one out hustles me, no one out works me, and no one out grinds me. So you need to check my resume, and while you’re at it, you should proceed to put some respect on it, as well.” Fans cheer for that!

Swerve says 15 YEARS, he’s been grinding up and down, all in the hopes that somebody would one day see Swerve and go, “Y’know what? One day, Swerve might go down as one of the best int he world currently. Maybe one day.” Swerve then says after this past year, he’s proven that today is that day! He’s gone toe to toe with former world champions, and with some of the best legends AEW has to offer. The same thing every time: Swerve is left standing, and the fans have only one thing on their mind: “Whose House?” “SWERVE’S HOUSE!” And at Revolution, nothing changes! Except for one thing: the fact that Swerve will be holding the title above his head.

But then Hangman Page storms out shouting, “Hold on, hold on, hold on!” The fans are torn as The Cowboy says hey, first off, he wants to set the record straight! After last week’s match, he wasn’t mad. So when you write your weekly Dynamite reports, don’t put “Hangman was mad.” But everyone already knows that last week was BS! The fans are torn again, but Joe actually nods and agrees. Hangman says he signed a contract for a match to determine THE #1 contender to the World Championship, and the winner would be the contender. Swerve couldn’t do it! THIRTY MINUTES, and Swerve couldn’t do it!

So if this were up to Hangman, at Revolution, the match would be between two men who value and respect that title and everything that it stands for. Fans boo but Hangman says unfortunately, he doesn’t make the matches. So Swerve, you were “added” to this match. So Hangman wants to say something eye to eye and Swerve needs to hear it. Swerve says, “We gonna do this again?” Hangman says after everything Swerve has done to him, Swerve doesn’t deserve one second of Hangman’s time. Swerve doesn’t deserve for Hangman to give him five more minutes because he couldn’t get the job done! And Swerve does NOT deserve to be in this championship match!

But Joe steps in now. Back up, knock off the charades. This walking domestic dispute ends tonight! Joe knows what this is about. Each man thinks they can beat the other and just walk over Joe, but that’s not gonna happen! As far as they’re both concerned, he is Samoa Joe, and he’ll whoop both y’all’s asses!! Joe throws down his mic and storms out. Hangman and Swerve continue to argue, but will the numbers NOT spell disaster for Joe at Revolution?

Timeless Toni Storm presents… Wet Ink.

A beatnik jazz form of Seven Nation Army plays as the AEW Women’s World Champion asks, “What does this tuh-too remind me of? It reminds me of a girl I befriended because I felt sorry for her. A girl so naive, so needy, so desperate to make it, that she had my pity. You were my Young Girl, I showed you my ways. I brought you into Japan, I helped you sign a contract. I nurtured you on my bosom of brilliance, you suckled on my teet of talent. And now, you bit the tit that feeds you!” Storm is now in a tuh-too, er, uh, tattoo parlor with Luther and Mariah May, as she gets something put OVER the commemorative tattoo she and Deonna Purrazzo both have!

Storm continues to narrate, “Somewhere along the way, you forgot who you were. Thought you were the star of this story instead of just an extra. You want the old Toni Storm? Oh, you’ll get the old Toni Storm, and so much more. What do you do when you can’t change the past? You kill it!” The new tattoo? It’s a KNIFE going through the ducky!

Deonna Purrazzo responds.

Renee Paquette is now with The Virtuosa, having finished watching Wet Ink with the rest of us. Renee isn’t sure how she feels, so she can’t even imagine Deonna’s feelings. Deonna says that Toni Storm is what her family would call a yakkity yon. AKA, she talks too much. So Deonna will keep this short and sweet: “Toni, I’m gonna break your arm, b*tch!!” The leading lady may have crossed a line putting a dagger through Deonna’s heart, but will she lose that belt around her waist?

The Young Bucks step out of their stretch SUV.

They still haven’t changed out of the blood-soaked suits, and all they’ve done to prepare for their match is wrap their fists! Matthew Jackson says they’re gonna put on another banger, but are they taking the Air Wolf & Angel Dorado a little too lightly?

Direct hit on both Bucks and the fans fire back up! Top Flight puts Matthew in, Dante bumps him off buckles and tags Darius.

Darius goes up and he DOUBLE STOMPS Matt’s arm! Dante snapmares Matt so Darius can basement dropkick! Cover, TWO! Darius whips, Matt reverses and Nick gets a cheap shot in! Darius DECKS Nick then BOOTS Matt! Darius dodges Nick ones, dodges twice, but Matt CLOBBERS Darius! Then he BLASTS Dante down! The fans boo but the Bucks soak it up as Dynamite goes picture in picture.

Nick nods and Matt smooths out his hair. Matt drags Darius up, bumps him off buckles, tag to Nick. CATAPULT GAMANGIRI, and then the DOUBLE STOMP BACKBREAKER! Darius writhes, Matt talks to commentary, perhaps trying to smooth things over from Nick’s threat, and Nick clamps onto Darius with a chinlock. Nick throws off his suit jacket to drag Darius up and turn him, for a NECKBREAKER! Cover, TWO! Nick drags Darius up to bump him off buckles, then he stomps a mudhole in! The ref counts, Matt tags in, and Matt CLUBS Darius. Darius throws body shots in return! Matt CLUBS Darius again, then BLASTS Dante back down!

Darius BLASTS Nick in return! Matt and Darius talk trash on each other, then Matt takes a swing! Darius ducks, gets around, atomic drop and a BULLDOG HOTSHOT! But Nick PENALTY KICKS Darius from the apron! The ref reprimands but Nick says that’s what Darius gets! Nick drags Darius up, puts him in, and Matt drags Darius around for haymakers. Matt whips Darius to the corner, runs up, but into BOOTS! Nick takes a swing, Darius dodges and Dynamite returns to single picture as Darius CLOBBERS Nick! The fans fire up as Darius ducks ‘n’ dodges Matt to LEAPING LARIAT! Both Bucks are down and the fans rally for Darius!

Matt drags Dante up, ROCKS him with a right, then whips. Dante ducks ‘n’ dodges to RANA! Dante BLASTS Nick back down, Matt flounders and Dante brings him over. Dante SPLASHES in the corner, Darius tags in and Dante whips Matt. Matt reverses but Darius gives Dante the boost to go up and over! Then Dante helps Darius TORNADO DDT! Cover, Nick breaks it!! Fans boo but Dante kicks Nick!

Dante TOSSES Nick out, builds speed and DIVES! Nick hits barriers, Darius runs and runs and slips around to whip Matt for the SPANISH FLY!! Cover, TWO!! Matt survives and Darius can’t believe it! Nick then YANKS Dante into barriers! Darius runs in at Matt, but Nick holds onto Matt to stop the Monkey Flip! Matt then high stacks Darius, with feet on the ropes!! The ref sees that, Nick argues with him about it, but Matt pop-up LOW BLOWS Darius! Fans boo as the ref misses the bigger cheat! Tag to Nick, and the Bucks sit Darius up for E V P TRIGGER!! Cover, The Bucks win!

Winner: The Young Bucks, by pinfall

The abuse of power continues, but so does the Bucks’ chase after the AEW World Tag Team Championships. Tony Schiavone then joins Matthew Braun John & Nicholas Lee Jackson in the ring. He notes the big win, and Matt says “Undefeated this year, Nicholas! Holy crap! I think that makes us the top, unbeatable tag team in AEW.” Fans boo but Matt says he has reason to believe that after beating a team the quality of Top Flight, a great team really, it is safe to assume that The Bucks are the NEW #1 contenders! Wow, there’s already a graphic for that… Fans boo but Schiavone says Sting isn’t here to respond, because of the despicable, heinous act by-

Oh, despicable?! Heinous!? You guys just can’t stop yourselves! Matt has to sit at his desk every week and hear Schiavone talk trash on the Bucks! Every single week! Hey, Matt has to think that this might be a breach of contract! Publicly disparaging the EVPs?! That is unacceptable, bush league, and we all know it! Nicholas says that is a ONE THOUSAND DOLLAR FINE! Does Schiavone have a problem with that? DOES HE HAVE A PROBLEM!? Nick shoulder bumps Schiavone off his feet!! Matt takes the mic back, apologizes for his “hothead” brother, this doesn’t need to get physical. Just don’t let it happen again, Schiavone.

The Bucks get Schiavone’s hands to help him up, into an E V P- NO! Darby is here!! He rushes down with Sting’s black baseball bat! He runs the Bucks out of the ring, grabs the mic and shouts at them, go ahead and remind everyone of the original mission statement of AEW. It was “Change the World.” When Darby was homeless, he begged the Bucks for a job, but they saw nothing in him. He sat by while The Bucks hired their sh*t friends! All their stupid California crew! But thank God that there was an EVP with a sense of brains back then. And we ain’t talking Kenny Omega! Fans chant for “CODY! CODY!”

Darby says The Bucks did their little interview why they stuck with AEW. Why was that? It was because the schedule was light and the money was good, NOT because they wanted to change the world! Seems the original mission is dead! So much for this being AEW! This is All Friendship Wrestling. Think of that first episode: No Darby! But Brandon Cutler was there! What even!? Darby isn’t sure what kind of tussles the Bucks got into while they were homeschooled, but we’re talking Sting’s final match! The Bucks want to be Sting’s final opponents? Then they don’t know what they got themselves into.

We’re talking about a man who’s got nothing left to lose. Young Bucks VS Darby & Sting for the AEW World Tag Team Championships? “IT’S SHOWTIME~!” Darby says if the Bucks want it, they’ve got it! Will the Bucks take those titles off the Relentless Icons? Or will they get what they deserve instead?

Backstage interview with The Bang Bang Scissor Gang.

Renee Paquette is with Jay White, The Acclaimed & The Gunns, and says it seems things are going smoothly for these six. The merch looks great, too. So what is next for the super group? Well, Austin wants to welcome us to the BBSG Lounge! Bowens gives Renee a rose for Valentine’s Day, very sweet. Bowens then signals for Austin & Colten to keep cool, it’s just plutonic. Jay says back to the question, what is the goal for them? Well as she said, they’re running smoothly, have momentum, new merch, gold on all the waists, shoulders and in their possession. But they still need to test their cohesiveness in the ring.

Billy has an idea! How about this Friday- Austin cuts Daddy Ass off by suggesting a 12 Man Tag for Rampage! No one responds. Or… and this is totally Billy’s idea, a 12 Man Tag for Rampage! Everyone loves that idea! Billy says no big deal, he’s been doing this for awhile. Bowens says great idea, and BBSG rules the world! Because EVERYONE loves The Acclaimed, BANG BANG! And if you’re not down with that, they’ve got two words for ya: GUNS UP! A massive open challenge is now set, what set of six will step to Platinum Max, Five Tool Bowens, Daddy Ass, his sons, and the Switchblade for Rampage?

PROGRAMMING REMINDER for Rampage!

Because of NBA All-Star Weekend, Rampage will be on much earlier, 7 PM Eastern, with an encore after NBA coverage at 11 PM Eastern, so make sure your DVR is set accordingly!

Willow Nightingale w/ Kris Statlander & Stokely Hathaway VS Skye Blue w/ Julia Hart!

The Babe with the Power used to be friends with Chicago Skye before Julia Hart stained her with the black mist. This is the first time they’ve ever been opponents, can Willow bring herself to crush Skye? Or will the House Always Win?

In an odd move, Kris sees Willow and Stokely off then returns to the back. Perhaps she wants to see if her friend and her manager can coexist without her as the buffer. Stokely joins commentary, the bell rings and the fans rally for Willow. Skye runs up to SHOTGUN Willow! Skye fires off in the corner, the ref counts, and Skye lets off. Skye storms up to whip but Willow handsprings through! Willow then scoops and SLAMS Skye, covers, ONE! Willow huffs and scoops but Skye slips free to dragon sleeper! But Willow picks Skye up to SLAM her again! Skye stands, dodges, and SLAPS Willow! Fans boo but Willow says okay then!

Willow bumps Skye off buckles, bumps her off more buckles, then bumps her off a third! Skye bails out, fans boo, but Stokely likes what he sees. Willow storms out to chase Skye around the ring, then back in. Skye keeps moving, but Willow gets around to shove, run and POUNCE! PERIOD! Skye tumbles right out to the floor and the fans fire up as Dynamite goes picture in picture.

Willow fumes while Skye flounders to a corner. Willow goes out to SMACK Skye off railing, then stomps her down. Willow SMACKS Skye off the apron, then whips her, only for Skye to reverse and POST Willow! Willow falls and clutches her head, but Skye storms up to stomp her down! Skye CLUBS Willow, stalks her, then pushes her into the ring. Skye stalks Willow, stomps her again, then CLUBS away on Willow’s back! Skye pushes Willow to a cover, TWO! Skye is frustrated, but she bumps Willow off buckles. Skye digs her boot in, waves hi and blows kisses, but Willow pushes Skye away. Skye comes back to fire forearms!

Skye snapmares Willow and KICKS her in the back! Skye paces around Willow, stands her up, but Willow blocks the suplex to suplex back! Willow storms up but Skye YANKS her into ropes! Skye runs in to BOOT WASH her! Skye then pushes Willow down, covers, TWO! Skye is frustrated and she SLAPS Willow. willow ROCKS Skye! Skye BOOTS Willow! Willow goes to ropes, Skye storms up to CLUB her on the back, then puts her in a corner to stomp away! The ref counts, Skye lets off and paces around. Skye goes back for Willow, brings her around and ROCKS her with a right hand! Willow snarls and she ROCKS Skye back!

Dynamite returns to single picture as the forearms go back and forth! The fans are on Willow’s side but Skye gets the edge! Willow blocks a shot, runs, but into a SUPERKICK! Skye roars, runs, but Willow blocks the boot to LARIAT! And LARIAT! Stokely again likes what he sees as Willow rallies with more shots! Skye goes to a corner, Willow runs up to back body block! Then LARIAT, then snapmare! Skye staggers up, into a BOOT! Willow drags Skye up, whips her again and hits the SPINEBUSTER! High stack, TWO! Skye survives but Willow stays on her with the gut wrench! Skye slips free, ducks a lariat and wrenches to a JAWBREAKER!

Skye SUPERKICKS, then BASEMENT DDTS! Cover, TWO!! Willow survives, but Skye gets her up into a full nelson! Willow fights free of that with elbows, then fireman’s carries! But Skye slips into a DRAGON SLEEPER BACKPACK! Willow endures, fans rally up, and Willow RAMS Skye into buckles! Stokely says Julia Hart’s TBS Championship is gonna be in trouble! Willow is free, runs in, but Skye slips to the outside. Willow still ROCKS Skye first, but then Skye avoids the shoulder! Willow avoids the boot and BLASTS Skye to the floor! The fans fire up with Willow and Stokely says even he’s all fired up!

Willow fetches Skye, puts her in the ring, and then stalks Skye to the corner. Willow hoists Skye up top, the fans rally behind her as she climbs, but Skye throws body shots! Skye slips under Willow, tucks her in, CHEEKY NANDOS! And then a FALLING POWERBOMB! High stack, TWO!! Willow survives and Skye shrieks in frustration! Stokely says he’s had enough of this, and he storms off of commentary. Skye runs, hops on, CODE BLUE! But Stokely distracts the ref!! Skye would’ve won by now! Skye is furious and shouts at the ref, the ref finally counts, TWO!! Willow has the cover, TWO!

Skye runs up, Willow dodges, and Willow mule kicks! Gut wrench, BABE WITH THE POWERBOMB!! Cover, Willow wins!

Winner: Willow Nightingale, by pinfall

#BigStoke gave a big assist to his other client, and he fist bumps with Willow. Will Stokely be right about the Princess of the Black Throne losing her crown one way or another?

BREAKING NEWS for Rampage!

With title chases never ending, Jeff Hardy and Sammy Guevara both look to get back in the hunt! The Charismatic Enigma and Spanish God look to go muy loco in a No Disqualification match! Then, Queen Aminata looks to finally break through and have her first win in AEW! However, she’s up against Anna Jay! Will the Star of the Show show the Queen of Guinea what it takes to win?

BREAKING NEWS for next week’s Dynamite!

After the confrontation both tonight and last Saturday, the BCC will have to put up or shut up, as it will be Moxley & Claudio VS FTR! Plus, a huge Six Man Tag has just been made, as Samoa Joe must team with Swerve Strickland & Brian Cage against Hangman Adam Page, Hook and Rob Van Dam! Truly a one of a kind trios match, but will RVD and the FTW Champion help The Cowboy get a big win over all his enemies? Or will the AEW World Champion be able to get along with Swerve’s House?

Texas Death Match: Orange Cassidy VS Matt Taven!

With things escalating between Best Friends and the Undisputed Kingdom, yet Roderick Strong still wanting to wait until Revolution, the only way Freshly Squeezed can get revenge is by proxy! Will Cassidy crush one of the pawns on the way to the title match? Or will the AEW International Champion get beat to a pulp in the main event?

The bell rings and Cassidy runs right up! He and Taven brawl and the fans fire up! Taven shoves, Cassidy dodges and SHOTGUNS! Cassidy kips up and he stands off with Taven. Taven waves to the ramp, but that’s a fake out so Taven can CLOBBER Cassidy from behind! Taven CHOPS Cassidy to a corner, ROCKS him with a right, then whips corner to corner. Cassidy reverses, Taven goes up and over then keeps moving. Cassidy hurdles, keeps moving, but Taven DROPKICKS him down! Fans boo Taven but he says “III’M Matt Taven!” Taven CHOPS Cassidy, CHOPS him again, and then whips corner to corner.

Cassidy reverses, Taven goes under, ENZIGIRIS back, then hoists Cassidy up, a hard BLUE THUNDER BOMB! Cassidy flops out of the ring, the standing count starts, but Taven storms after him. Cassidy is up at 4 of 10, Taven RAMS him into railing! Taven SMACKS Cassidy off steel steps, then whips him into more railing! Cassidy slumps down but Taven drags him back up. The fans cheer Cassidy on but Taven ROCKS Cassidy again. Fans want tables but Cassidy sends Taven into railing! Cassidy whips Taven hard into more railing, then storms up on him. The fans fire up as Cassidy whips again, but Taven reverses!

Cassidy LEAPS over the railing clean! The fans fire up, and then Cassidy puts his hands in his pockets! Taven is furious, he hurries out after Cassidy, but into a BOOT! Cassidy CLUBS Taven, CLUBS him again, then brings him into the crowd with haymakers! The fans fire up while Dynamite goes picture in picture.

Cassidy brings Taven up the bleachers with a headlock, throws some hands, then keeps bringing Taven along. Taven SMACKS Cassidy with someone’s water bottle! The brawling continues up to the second level, and Taven CHOPS! Taven stalks Cassidy, throws more hands, then ROCKS him. Taven shoves Cassidy down the bleachers to return to the ground level. Taven SMACKS Cassidy off barriers, then brings him along for more CHOPS! They end up near the stage now, and Taven SMACKS Cassidy off light trusses! The standing count starts, Cassidy rises up, but Taven has found a table! Taven sets that up right over an AEW logo.

Taven storms up on Cassidy, ROCKS him with a right, but Cassidy ROCKS Taven in return! Cassidy fires more hands but Taven knees low! Taven SMACKS Cassidy off the table, then follows him as he staggers around. Taven brings Cassidy back around, SMACKS him off the table again, then pushes him onto it. Taven throws down more hands, then talks trash to the fans. Especially the kid cosplaying Cassidy. Taven throws down more hands, then he goes up onto the stage! Taven soaks up the heat, talks more trash, probably calls them all Melvins, and Dynamite returns to single picture. Taven takes aim, to MACHO ELBOW through the table!

Fans lose their minds as both men fall with the table, the table is really more dented than broken. The standing count starts all the same, and Taven drags the table over to prop it up against the ramp! Cassidy stands at 8 of 10, so Taven reels him in! Snap suplex through the table! Cassidy writhes, his forehead is a bit bloody, and the count begins again. Taven paces but Cassidy stands at 6 of 10! Taven ROCKS Cassidy, pushes him onto the ramp, then lines up the shot. JUST THE TIP of the knee! Taven tells the fans off, then wants the count. The count begins, but Cassidy rises pretty fast! So Taven is on him already, to push him into the ring.

Taven storms up on Cassidy, scoops him, and hits a BACKBREAKER! And then a flip around into a DDT!! Cassidy is down, the count begins, and some fans are stunned he’s still moving! Taven finds another table! Taven brings that up, and props it against the commentary desk!? Cassidy DIVES, but Taven narrowly avoids the table he set up! The count is now on Taven while Cassidy has a crimson mask forming. Cassidy puts Taven in, but Taven hits the springboard FLYING CHUCK! Cassidy wobbles, flops off the apron, and Taven builds speed! Taven WRECKS Cassidy, but Cassidy doesn’t fall!

Cassidy wobbles, he leans on the table and marks it with his blood. Taven builds speed again, and he FLIES, through the table!!! Cassidy avoids disaster and the fans lose their minds! Commentary can barely be heard, their own desk taking some damage in that crash! Cassidy staggers his way over while the count is climbing. Taven rises up, he’s bloodied now, and he stands at 9.5!! “This is Awesome!” as Cassidy has… A box of chocolates? The card reads “To: OC. From: Chuckie T. XOXO.” The Kentucky Gentleman left a Valentine’s Day gift for his buddy and the fans fire up! Cassidy takes the gift into the ring, opens it up, and surprise! It’s not candy, but THUMBTACKS!!

The fans are thunderous as Cassidy drags Taven up a corner! Taven throws body shots to resist, then he adjusts. Taven SHOVES Cassidy onto the tacks!! Cassidy writhes, and Taven adjusts, FROG SPLASH onto tacks!! Cassidy avoids disaster again and then runs, tilt-o-whirl DDT onto the tacks!! The fans lose their minds as both men continue to lose blood! Cassidy staggers up, Taven is still down, the count begins. Cassidy goes out, to get a steel chain!? And then an even bigger heart shaped box!? But then Mike Bennett rushes out here to CLOBBER Cassidy! It was only a matter of time before The Kingdom stopped playing fair!

Bennett gets that box, and he SMASHES it right on Cassidy’s head! Bennett puts Cassidy in while the fans boo, and Bennett puts chair after chair into the ring! Taven flounders around, the ref reprimands Bennett but there’s nothing to stop this! The chairs are a pile, but wait! Here comes Trent Beretta! And much like Arnold in Terminator 2, he has a box of roses, that he then pulls a weapon out of! It’s a steel pipe! Bennett has a chair, he takes a swing, but Trent dodges to CLOBBER Bennett with the pipe! But Taven CHUCKS a chair into Trent! Taven hoists Trent to the top rope, drapes him out, FULL METAL CLIMAX!!

But ORANGE PUNCH for Taven!! And then BEACH BREAK onto tacks and chairs!!! Taven writhes but Cassidy isn’t done with him! Taven RIPS the pockets away!? Fans boo, that’s like taking a luchador’s mask! Cassidy wraps that chain around his fist, and because “IIIIIIII’M Matt Taven!” FULL METAL ORANGE PUNCH!!! Taven is down, the count begins, but here comes Roddy! Roddy aims at Cassidy, STRONG KNEE into Trent!! Trent takes the bullet for Cassidy, and Taven is still floundering around at 8 of 10! Taven is DOWN, Cassidy wins!!

Winner: Orange Cassidy, by technical knockout

The International Champion’s Best Friends came through for him and they thwarted The Undisputed Kingdom! But with Revolution fast approaching, is Cassidy going to stand a chance against the Savior of the Backbreaker?

My Thoughts:

An awesome Dynamite here, lots of big stuff going down. Toni Storm’s Wet Ink was very well done, clearly she’s been given a bigger budget compared to her early films because of how successful she’s been. And what a powerful move to (I assume legitimately) change her tattoo to stick it to Deonna. Speaking of powerful moves, Callis making Takeshita VS Ospreay happen for the hell of it, that’s going to be an awesome match. And it makes me think Ospreay and Fletcher are gonna break away from the Don Callis Family to get some United Empire stuff going in AEW. Then they can make it DCF VS Empire if they’re moving away from Jericho (and they probably should be).

Just as I was wondering why Bang Bang Scissor Gang wasn’t doing much, they show up to have a group promo and it was a lot of fun. A 12 Man Tag is going to be nuts, and it’ll certainly be like three different jobber tag teams like Outrunners, The Workhorsemen and Butcher & Blade because of course BBSG is winning. I would really hope one of the tag teams (Ass Boys or Acclaimed) call out The Kingdom’s Taven & Bennett for an ROH World Tag Team Championship match, and for the love of pro-wrestling, get these guys on ROH since Bullet Club Gold are the ROH World Six Man Tag Team Champions!

Moxley VS Dax was an awesome opener, great win for Moxley, and clearly BCC is turning Heel since FTR is sticking to Face. The tag match next week will be awesome, too, surely setting up the winners as tag title contenders for after Revolution. And of course we were officially given Darby & Sting VS Bucks for Revolution. Great tag match from Bucks VS Top Flight, and pretty good “abuse” of EVP authority for “Matthew & Nicholas” to use a simple 2-0 win streak as justification for the top spot. Darby had a great promo slamming the Bucks as sellouts, and now that the match is official, it is going to be awesome stuff.

Great match from Edge VS Garcia, but I should’ve figured it’d get “ruined” by The Patriarchy. It was ruled No Contest so that there wouldn’t be someone crowned the winner by disqualification, but after the Con-Chair-To to Edge, it feels like they might give Garcia the Revolution match. I say that because there shouldn’t be a Triple Threat, that’d make this too much like the world title story. Meanwhile, I don’t see Garcia winning the TNT Championship unless Edge thwarts Luchasaurus & Nick Wayne getting involved, maybe even Matt Menard since he stood up to Christian only to get knocked down by Luchasaurus. Honestly, I’d love if Garcia did win the title, then Christian VS Edge can be just about the grudge.

And speaking of the world title story, great promo from Joe, Hangman and Swerve. Seems we’ve gotten the double turn of Hangman and Swerve, despite Swerve doing what he did. But that is just how pro-wrestling works, where things are forgiven by the fans when the Heel turns Face. All that aside, the Six Man Tag set up for next week is going to be interesting because of how Hangman is becoming a Heel but RVD and Hook are still Faces, and then it’s hard to really say where Joe, Swerve and Cage are on the Heel-Face spectrum. Feels like RVD is taking the loss though, with Hook and Cage needing to be strong going into their FTW Championship match and of course Joe, Hangman & Swerve needing to stay even for their own title match.

Really good match from Willow VS Skye, and I find it interesting Stokely has come around to Willow so quickly. He helps her get the win, hard to say if she knew that or not, but it definitely feels like Willow and Kris will have to fight if either wants a shot at Julia and the TBS title. And then awesome main event in that Texas Death Last Man Standing Match. Matt Taven may be like if The Miz never went Hollywood with his gimmick, but he is still really good in the ring, proved himself in ROH, so him and Cassidy was the right move for the match. Still wish they’d be careful with blood, feels like Cassidy’s blading was overdone. And of course it got overbooked but great win for Cassidy here to keep himself going strong towards Revolution.

My Score: 9/10

Mitchell’s AEW Collision Results & Report! (2/8/25)

Collisions ARE bigger in Texas!

Will Houston be Undisputed?

While The Son of Texas, Dustin Rhodes, is in action in Houston, the big attraction is a Trios Triple Threat: Undisputed Kingdom VS 2Point0 VS Shane Taylor Promotions!

OFFICIAL RESULTS

  • Trios Triple Threat: The Undisputed Kingdom VS Daniel Garcia & 2Point0 VS Shane Taylor Promotions; The Undisputed Kingdom wins.
  • Bandido VS Bryan Keith; Bandido wins.
  • Six Man Tag: La Faccion Ingobernable VS Ares Alexander, Jay Alexander & Brick Savage; LFI wins.
  • Dustin Rhodes VS Izzy James; Dustin wins.
  • Thunder Rosa VS Penelope Ford; Rosa wins.
  • Mariah May VS Shay Carmichael; Mariah wins.
  • Kyle Fletcher VS Mark Briscoe; Kyle wins.

PLAY BY PLAY

Mark Briscoe speaks.

“Tonight, it’s Kyle Fletcher, Mark Briscoe. Kyle, I know your type! You can’t handle your own business! You run around with that pack of wolves, the Don Callis Family! Hey, bring the whole family, line ’em up, I’ll knock ’em down! Tonight, it’s your ass! RAH RAH RAAAH!”

Kyle Fletcher speaks.

“Tonight, I am on a mission. A mission to right a wrong. Now Mark, I want you to see the entire Family is her tonight, because they will not be getting involved. I’ll do this on my own, because even on your best day, you do not come close to the Protostar’s level.” Brian Cage & Lance Archer seem confident, but newest Family member, Mark Davis, seems conflicted. Will the Aussie Arrow really shoot down the Sussex County Chicken this close to Grand Slam: Australia?

Someone chucks security!?

It’s Marina Shafir! And that’s because she’s leading the way for Jon Moxley! The fans boo as The Maniac throws a fit, but then Marina snatches a mic for him. Moxley says this show starts when he says it starts! And he is getting a little sick of the Rated R Superstar! Adam Copeland wants a shot at the AEW World Champion? Mox bets he does. Cope thinks he can throw his weight around, but he can’t! He has no power here! Moxley has a list of 1000 reasons why he won’t give Cope a title shot. The fans boo, but Moxley says he has 1000 reasons, but we’ll stick to the simplest one: Moxley doesn’t like Cope.

Moxley doesn’t like anything about Cope! Cope doesn’t know a single thing about Moxley, or about AEW, or about being AEW World Champion. Cope can take his challenge and stick it up his ass! But if it’s a fight he wants, Moxley will do it any time, any place! Here at the Marriott, in Toronto, in Cincinnati, in Asheville, or even next week on Collision in Australia! Let’s do that! Bring Jay White and Mox will whoop his ass, too! Bring that half-broken neck, bring White, and Moxley will whip both their asses! They just better hope and pray that Moxley has the grace to let them walk out of Australia on their own two feet!

If Mox decides it’s time to break Cope’s neck, Cope ain’t coming back! Moxley then drops the mic and storms off, Marina following him out. Is that Moxley making a threat? Or is he just trying to avoid a title match he might lose?

Trios Triple Threat: The Undisputed Kingdom VS Daniel Garcia & 2Point0 VS Shane Taylor Promotions!

Adam Cole, Kyle O’Reilly & Roderick Strong want to prove they’re the strongest trio in AEW, so they’ll be taking on some strong competition! They got the better of Red Death, Daddy Magic & Cool Hand Ange, and they got the better of Shane Taylor and The Infantry, but can they beat both teams at once? Or will tonight be anything but undisputed?

The trios sort out, and in this kind of Triple Threat, only two teams are legal. Roddy and Shane start, they tie up, and Roddy slips around to a headlock. Shane blocks on size alone, and he THROWS Roddy away! Roddy comes back to CHOP! Roddy CHOPS again, bobs ‘n’ weaves, but Shane blocks a shot to JAB! Shane talks trash, whips Roddy to ropes, but Roddy ducks ‘n’ dodges. Roddy then stops to BOOT Shane, ENZIGIRI, and he tags Kyle. Roddy & Kyle CHOP and KICK on repeat! They double whip Shane, but Shane DOUBLE LARIATS back! The fans are torn but Shane taunts Cole with, “SHANE TAYLOR, B*TCH!

The fans boo but Shane puts Kyle in the STP corner. Tag to Carlie Bravo, he tags Shawn Dean, then Dean sends Carlie in to forearm SMASH! Then the repeat, forearm smash! Dean adds an ELBOW, then a LARIAT! Dean covers, ONE, but Dean keeps Kyle with a facelock. Dean whips, Kyle grabs ropes, Daddy Magic tags in! Kyle kicks Carlie back, then Kyle and Menard DOUBLE SHOULDER Carlie! They argue now, but Dean SHOVES Menard into Kyle! Kyle tumbles out, Dean ROCKS Menard, then whips. Menard reverses and ELBOWS Dean down! The fans fire up for Daddy Magic and he fires up with them!

Menard CHOPS Dean, pushes him to the open corner, then he tags Parker. Parker whips Menard so Menard can send Parker in, forearm SMASH! Drop toehold! BOOYAH ELBOW! The fans fire up and Parker brings Dean around for a whip. Parker ROCKS Dean, whips again, and ROCKS Dean once more! Dean whips, Cole tags off Parker, Parker sends Dean into a BOOT! Cole and Parker fist bump in respect, Menard jumps on commentary real quick to say this is some 2-for-1 action tonight! Collision is live from coast to coast like butter on toast! Cole fireman’s carries Dean, Dean fires forearms, and Dean RAMS Cole into the STP corner!

STP mugs Cole, the fans boo, but Menard says this is what he’s talking about. Dean tags Carlie, the Infantry brings Cole out to scoop, but Cole slips free! Cole shoves Dean into Carlie, Garcia tags in! The fans fire up as the TNT Champion rallies on the Infantry! Menard is all fired up as Garcia rains down fists on Dean! But Carlie makes the save, only for Garcia to add Carlie to it! Garcia rains down fists on The Infantry, and he goes to nine, winds up, and hits TEN! The fans fire up again, but here comes Shane! Garcia says bring it! Shane swings, Garcia ducks to fire back! Garcia then gets around but Shane fights the saido!

Shane CLUBS Garcia, Dean trips him, and then Dean SLAMS Garcia on the apron! Carlie goes to the apron for a GUILLOTINE KNEE DROP! Menard hops off commentary to reinforce his team, but Shane still hits a GUILLOTINE LEG DROP! STP stands tall and talks trash while Collision goes picture in picture.

Shane drags Garcia up, whips him hard into railing, and Garcia flounders to the commentary desk. The Infantry drags Garcia up, but Menard & Parker rush in! They all brawl, the ref reprimands, but Carlie puts Garcia in. Carlie JABS Garcia again and again in the corner, then pops, locks and CHOPS! Garcia sputters, Shane tags in, and they put Garcia in the open corner. Shane stomps Garcia, stands him up, then CHOPS! Garcia is stinging again but Shane stands over him. The ref reprimands, Shane backs off just to talk trash on the other teams. Shane stands Garcia up, but Garcia fires forearm after forearm! Shane’s BODY SHOT takes Garcia right down!

Tag to Dean, he and Shane mug Garcia, then Dean stands Garcia up. Menard rallies the fans but Dean CHOKES Garcia on ropes! Dean lets off, and Carlie gets a cheap shot in! Dean covers, TWO! Dean tags Shane, Shane stomps Garcia, then Shane stalks Garcia to ropes. Carlie talks trash on Garcia while Shane stands him up. Garcia fires forearms and CHOPS! Garcia runs, but Shane CLOBBERS him! Shane shakes his head, talks trash on 2Point0, then he drags Garcia up. Shane mockingly holds out Garcia’s hand to The Undisputed Kingdom, then he scuffs Garcia. Shane slaps Garcia around, and Collision returns to single picture.

The fans rally for Garcia as Shane stands him up. Garcia fires forearms! The fans fire up, but Shane ROCKS Garcia! Shane scoops, but Garcia slips free! SAIDO!! The fans are thunderous while Shane and Garcia are both down! Garcia crawls, but The Infantry YANK Menard & Parker down! The fans boo, but Carlie tags in to drag Garcia up. Garcia JAWBREAKERS free! Dean tags in, he snatches Garcia into a SLEEPER! Garcia JAWBREAKERS again! Carlie tries, Garcia dodges, hot tag to Kyle! The Violent Artist BOOTS Carlie, then he tags Roddy! STRONG KNEE for Dean! Tag to Cole, SUPERKICK for Shane! Then they DOUBLE LARIAT Shane up and out!

The fans fire up as Cole rallies on Carlie! BOOT and Carlie falls again! Cole fireman’s carries Carlie for the USHIGOROSHI! The fans are fired up again, Strong KNEE for Dean! Kyle suplexes, CHASING THE DRAGON! Cole gives Carlie the GHOSTBUSTER! Cover, MENARD BREAKS IT! Roddy CLUBS Menard, Menard hits a CUTTER! Kyle hits AX & SMAHS on Menard, Parker has Kyle in a Gory Especial! GORY BOMB for Kyle! But Dean hits a TIGER BACKBREAKER on Parker! Garcia DROPKICKS Dean! Shane blocks Garcia’s kick to KNEE him down! Cole SUPERKICKS Shane down again!

Winners: The Undisputed Kingdom, by pinfall

It’s all about the Boom, and that makes this match undisputed! Garcia realizes he was too little, too late. Cole wants to show Garcia respect, but then THE DEATH RIDERS ATTACK! Namely, Wheeler Yuta, Claudio Castagnoli & Pac! The AEW World Trios Champions beat down everyone, but especially focus on The Kingdom! Cole, Kyle & Roddy want to be the best trio, but the titles belong to the Death Riders. Claudio has a mic to say, “I just came out here to personally congratulate you on your victory. But more importantly, to remind everyone who the real best trio is around here.”

Pac & Yuta sit Cole up and Claudio says sorry, Cole, he couldn’t hear that over the ass whopping they just gave his team. Cole says you picked the fight with the wrong trio! Oh, is that so? But then STRONG KNEE outta nowhere! The fans fire up as the tides have turned! Kyle has Yuta in an ANKLE LOCK, and Yuta TAPS! Cole sends Pac running, but Claudio drags Yuta to safety! The Death Riders regroup and retreat, but Cole grabs the mic. Cole says he is so damn sick and tired of the Death Riders thinking they can do whatever they want! Cole reminds us that he said in 2025, they’d prove themselves as THE BEST trio in AEW!

So next week, Cole looks to cash in on that promise! The fans like where this is going. Next week, Dynamite, FOR the Trios Championships, Undisputed Kingdom VS Death Riders! And Cole swears to God, he promises on everything he believes in, the Kingdom will whip some ass and become the champions! THAT is undisputed! TK calls in, that match is approved! Will Cole, Kyle & Roddy be the three that free these Trios Championships from the Death Riders?

Backstage interview with Max Caster.

Alicia Atout is with Platinum Max and he makes sure to add, “Best Wrestler Alive.” Alicia brings up last Wednesday night, Caster provoking while his Open Challenge is ongoing. Caster says Hangman got angry at him when all he wanted to do was have his interview. The people wanna hear from the Best Wrestler Alive, and Hangman was taking forever. Caster simply asked Hangman to please hurry up, and Hangman got angry. That’s not how a man asks. Let’s not call him “Hangman,” this is “Hangperson.” And so if Hangperson wants to go a round with Caster, get in line, because his open challenge is going on. And thanks for mentioning that, Alicia.

So, who can survive the Best Wrestler Alive? We’re gonna see this week on Dynamite! Caster will show everyone that you can’t be better than the best, and that is a mic drop! He even drops Alicia’s mic to prove it. But will Caster regret leaving the door open to an angry Cowboy?

No prize money for the Bounty Hunter, this bandit is just that good! But will the Most Wanted get what he wants in a title match with The Nueve?

Backstage interview with “Powerhouse” Hobbs.

Lexy Nair is with Will Hobbs and says he asked for this time. What’d he like to say? Hobbs says hey to Big Bill, rubbing in that Keith didn’t collect his bounty. And guess what? Hobbs will be in Texas all week long. He’ll be looking for a fight, and maybe in Austin, Bill actually gives Hobbs a fight. Or maybe the Big Redwood is just a big baby. Hobbs has called out the rest of The Learning Tree’s Branches, will he cut them all down?

Six Man Tag: La Faccion Ingobernable VS Ares Alexander, Jay Alexander & Brick Savage!

Rush y Dralistico made their return, and they want not just Beast Mortos but ALL of AEW to understand, that when you mess with the bull, you get the horns! Will LFI look to stampede through the Trios Division now that they’re reunited?

The trios sort out, and the fans cheer on “RUSH! RUSH! RUSH!” Instead, we get Dralistico and Ares Alexander. But then Dralistico tags out to Mortos, and Mortos CLOBBERS Ares! And SMACKS him! The other guys didn’t even get to tag in! And now LFI mugs Ares! Jay is furious that they’re doing this to his brother, so he and Brick get in! Brick DOUBLE CHOPS Dralistico & Mortos, only to get a CHOP, HEADBUTT, and SPIN KICK! Jay runs up, Rush blocks his knee to HEADBUTT him down! LFI deals with Brick and the Alexander Brothers with ease, but they’re not down! They beat Jay down, but here comes Komander! Wait, what can one do against there? He still springboards to FLYING POISON-RANA Mortos!! Then he dodges Rush y Dralistico to jump off Dralistico and RANA Rush! Then Komander fires off on Dralistico!

LFI took him down, but he has rebuilt himself, rebooted the system, and “upgrade complete!” Four months away but he looks better than ever! SUPERKICK for Dralistico! Then he jumps over Mortos to DROPKICK Rush out of the ring! Then he tilt-o-whirls and DEJA VU RANAS Mortos! Mortos gets back up, but runs into a CRASH COURSE from Hologram!

Hologram and Komander stand tall together, then build speed! They DOUBLE TOPE CONJILO!! The brawling continues, and Rush has a chair! Rush wants to smash someone but the refs stop him! Rush snarls, drops the chair, but then he DECKS a ref!! The fans are torn but Jake the Snake will have to handle that fine for Rush. But will Rush’s rampage continue until LFI are on top of AEW?

Backstage interview with Megan Bayne.

Well, Lexy tries to get Megasus to respond, but she just keeps walking. Thunder Rosa is there to welcome Megan to AEW. Megan ignores the high-five so Rosa says okay, she’s not about that. That’s fine. So much for Southern Hospitality. Rosa tells Lexy that Megan is superbad, too. Megan just got here, and she’s so mad! But whatever, we’re in Texas! And everyone knows about Texas hospitality! And tonight, Ford gets that “hospitality” because Rosa will make sure she has a memory that lasts. Let’s get ready to kick some butt! Rosa is all fired up, will she wrangle Penelope Ford like it’s a rodeo?

Harley Cameron is in the ring.

The wild Aussie has a couple guitars and a big puffy pink jacket as she welcomes Houston to the Harley Halftime Show! Ladies and gentlemen, she didn’t come alone. Oh, no no! Please say hello to PUPPET MERCEDES! Harley takes off her jacket and turns around to reveal her Muppet of Mercedes Mone is riding in her backpack! The fans cheer and Harley says Puppet Mone is a tiny lil’ baby. Now to kick things off, here’s a song you may know too well. It’s called the Money Train. Harley starts strumming the guitar, and she sings a long R&B note. The fans cheer, Harley sings she wants to RIIIDE~ the Money Train~!

The phone lights come out already as Harley repeats “The Money Train” again and again, but then the REAL Mercedes Mone interrupts! Mone is wearing the TBS and NJPW Strong titles while carrying the Rev-Pro and Queen of Southside belts. Mone has a mic to ask Harley, “Are you stupid? Or are you dumb? Nobody came out here to watch the Harley Halftime Show!” NO, they’re all to see #FourBeltsMone. So Houstooooooon~! Please say hello to your C  E O! The fans boo instead. Mone tells Harley that she doesn’t know how many times she has to tell her, but she is nothing but a l- LEGEND!! Harley cuts Mone off there and the fans cheer.

And with that said, Harley would like to begin her second song! “Hello, it’s good to see you, Miss Mercedes Mone. You’ve got four belts? Well I’ve got one dream! So, what do you say~? You come out here tonight, cut me off, and if I’m being blunt. I think the way you’re acting, well, are a cuuunning woman~!” And Harley will say it now, Mone is just afraid to feel the WRATH! THE WRATH! THE WRATH! The fans join in, “FEEL THE WRATH!” and Mone sarcastically plays along, until she grabs the guitar! The fans boo but Mone tells Harley to shut up. Harley is so talented, super talented, but let’s get real. If there’s anything real about Harley!

Mone doesn’t know why Harley wants a match with Mone when that little puppet on her back can wrestle better. So Harley needs to get out of her ring, because Harley is NOT on Mone’s level. Harley has the fans on her side as she tells Mone, “You’ore right. You’re right.” Harley is new to this. She can only ever dream to achieve in her career what Mone already has in AEW. But Harley has fought so hard to be here where she is today, and she’s NOT stopping! The fans cheer that! Harley would love nothing more than to face Mone in Australia, in her home city in her home country! And for the TBS Championship!

Mone is a game changer, yes, but Harley has to admit. In Mone’s whole career, the most entertaining that she’s ever been… is when Harley had her hand up Mone’s puppet ass!! The fans fire up for that! But Mone SLAPS Harley! The fans boo, but Harley gets pissed now! Harley shouts FEEL THE WRATH, then she DECKS Mone with the mic!! Mone bails out, grabs a new mic, and with the fans chanting Harley’s name, Mone says if Harley wants her shot at Grand Slam, then she’s on! But one more thing: Mone can’t wait to embarrass Harley in front of her friends, her family, and show the world why she IS the CEO!

Mone leaves, but Harley is just fired up to have the match she wants! Will she also take that title off Mone to finally be the Face of TBS?

Lexy Nair moderates the Continental Championship face-to-face.

She has Buddy Matthews with her, but Kazuchika Okada is clearly absent. Lexy says this was meant to be the face-to-face, so if Buddy wishes, they can proceed. Buddy says go ahead. Lexy asks Buddy what it’d mean if- Oh, NOW Okada shows up. The Rainmaker takes his seat, gets mic’d up, and asks for a water. Lexy thanks Okada for taking the time to join them. She wants to ask about the title match, but Buddy says he’ll handle this. Buddy scoots up and says they’ll cut to the chase: “In Brisbane, Australia, you and I will face each other. Australia’s best versus Japan’s best. But I haven’t fallen for this BS comedy facade that you’re playing.

“See, I know what the real Okada’s all about, and I know what he’s capable of doing. But I’m not sure he knows what I’m capable of doing.” The people stand by Buddy. Australia stands by Buddy! So it is time for Buddy to beat Okada for that title. Okada needs to look Buddy in the eyes and say if he thinks Buddy believes this or this is just some fake facade that Buddy’s playing. Buddy and Okada both stand up, and then Okada laughs. “B*TCH!” Buddy fakes a punch and Okada flinches! Buddy pats Okada on the shoulder, and tells him, “I’ll see you in Brisbane.” Buddy leaves, the staffer shows up with the water, but Okada throws it down.

Okada is furious that Buddy got the better of him, but will Okada get serious once the bell rings?

As I told you last week, I went to Hell, I looked at the Devil in his eyes, and I kicked his teeth in! And I ripped, teared, and crawled my way out! And the reason why is because I am a survivor! I AM the 56-year-old Last of My Kind! And Max, while you’re sitting at home in your recliner right now in Long Island, New York, I want you to know something. Every thing in your brain right now thinks that you’re gonna do to me, I’ve already done. Five DECADES. Blood, sweat, and tears, and passion, something you do not have!

“And guess what, Max? I am still here! Next week, in MY backyard of Austin, Texas, AEW Dynamite, I am going to drag you to hell, and you are gonna meet the actual devil! And I will give you a Texas sized ass whooping for the ages!” The fans like that! Dustin has a question for MJF: After MJF gets out of this business, will it remember him? Because it damn sure will remember Dustin! The fans are fired up, will MJF regret messing with this Son of Texas?

The Death Riders speak.

The Bastard says, “Finally, finally, finally! We have been the Trios Champions for what feels like an eternity, and there have been very, very few individuals who have had the guts, the bullocks, to stand up to the Death Riders. Well, gentlemen, we welcome your challenge. From true professionals, none the less. But understand this: We are the elite of the elite. And this week on Dynamite, we look forward to making an example out of you.” Claudio adds that the Kingdom has teeth, and he respects that. They have something worth the Death Riders’ time. Too bad the Death Riders will just have to pull those teeth out.

Claudio says they are the absolute BEST at this! Claudio leads the way out, and Yuta just adds a cocky grin. Will the Death Riders be unstoppable in their reign of terror?

Ford stands Rosa up to bump off buckles, and again, and again! Ford hits all three levels, then lets Rosa drop. Cover, TWO! Rosa goes back to the corner but Ford stomps a mudhole! AEW shares footage from last night’s DEFY Wrestling show.

Ricochet returned to DEFY as it held a show in Seattle, Washington, and he talked a lot of trash while wearing the robe he stole from Prince Nana & Swerve Strickland last Wednesday. But little did he know, SWERVE would show up! Swerve attacked, Ricochet ran away, but not for long as NANA put Ricochet back in the ring! Ricochet find another way to escape and kept the robe on his person! When and where will Swerve get his revenge on Ricochet?

Backstage interview with Bun B.

Lexy is with Houston’s living legend, the hit singer and entrepreneur, and welcomes him to the show. They have his burgers as part of catering, and it is fantastic. How does it feel to be back in AEW? Bun B says it’s always great to have AEW back in Texas. They’re all big fans here, they can’t wait for All In: Texas. But then Ricochet interrupts? He asks what this is. Oh, he knows now! This is Bun B, Trill Burgers, America’s best! And he’s a friend of Swerve’s, right? Well, if Bun B hasn’t been watching, but AEW is no longer Swerve’s House. It is now Ricochet’s! And Mr. B, but since you’re here, all these burgers now belong to Ricochet, too.

Ricochet says if they don’t mind, he wants to try one of America’s best. Ricochet says it looks aight. He takes a bite, and then SPITS IT OUT! This is what they’re serving? It’s trash! There are much better burgers out there. The server says everyone else likes them. Ricochet asks what that guy just said. W-Well, they like them… Oh, everyone else likes them? He DRAGS this guy onto the table and asks who he is to talk to Ricochet like that! Bun B tells Ricochet to stop that. Ricochet tells B to back off. B may be close to Swerve, but tell him and Nana, “Thanks for the jacket.” HAHA! Ricochet leaves, but is he only heaping fuel on the fire?

Mariah May VS Shay Carmichael!

The AEW Women’s World Champion is calling this her “Glamorous Exhibition Match,” because she clearly doesn’t think this will be that hard on her. Will Mariah be more than ready for Grand Slam: Australia and the threat Toni Storm poses?

Toni Schiavone has a good point: Shay’s hair is a bit like Toni’s, could this be a case of Mariah taking her frustrations out on an innocent young wrestler? Wait, what’s in the fancy handbag? Kyle Fletcher VS Mark Briscoe!

The Continental Classic’s round robin phase was almost perfect for The Protostar, if not for getting caught by #DemBoys. Kyle claims that was all a fluke and it’ll never happen again. But will the Aussie Arrow miss the Mark again? Or will he be able to #ManUp before Grand Slam: Australia?

Kyle kisses the bloody wound, then he APRON POWERBOMBS Mark! Mark falls in a heap, Kyle soaks up more heat, and Collision goes picture in picture.

Mark crawls while the blood drips to the floor. Kyle flexes while he soaks up even more heat, and he wants on Mark. Mark slowly rises, but Kyle comes back around the outside. Mark makes it to the apron, only for Kyle to hit a DRIVE-BY DROPKICK! Mark flops back down, and Kyle tells the ref to hold on. Kyle whips Mark hard into railing! Kyle then sees Mark’s table, and he gets an idea. Kyle brings Mark up, puts him in the ring, and then he positions the table a bit closer to the ring. Kyle brings Mark up through the ropes, then to the apron. But Mark throws body shots! Mark has the fans fire dup, but Kyle stops the suplex!

Kyle tries but Mark fights the suplex! They both fight for control, but Mark then slips into the ring. Mark UPPERCUTS Kyle, and Kyle holds onto the ropes! Mark UPPERCUTS again, Kyle flails more! Mark UPPERCUTS and Kyle has to switch hands! Mark runs, but Kyle slips in and ELBOWS him down! Kyle has a sinister grin, then he rains down fists. The ref counts, but Kyle just hammers away on the bloody forehead! Kyle stops to admire the blood on his hands, and he paints his chest with it. Mark flounders to a corner, sputters through the crimson mask, and Kyle mocks the fans. Kyle goes back to Mark, but Mark CHOPS!

Mark CHOPS, and CHOPS, but Kyle scoops to SLAM! Mark writhes while Kyle mockingly encourages the fans to get louder. Kyle stalks Mark, stands on his neck in the corner, but steps off as the ref counts. Collision returns to single picture, and the fans rally for Mark while Kyle taunts him. Mark stands, but Kyle kick shim! And BOOTS him! Kyle fires forearms, but Mark fires back! The fans fire up as the shots go back and forth, again and again! Mark gets the edge, he ROCKS Kyle, then roars! But Kyle BOOTS him again! Kyle runs, but Mark dodges! Kyle dodges, both men keep going, DOUBLE LARIATS turn both men inside-out!

Kyle is tougher than that but Mark stays focused. The fans rally, Mark drags Kyle up, and Mark reels him in. Mark underhooks, but Kyle BACKDROPS free!

Mark runs back up, but Kyle DUMPS him to the apron! Kyle catches Mark in the ropes, DRAPING DDT! Kyle strikes like a Viper but the fans boo. Mark sits up, Kyle runs up, KNEE!! Kyle then underhooks Mark, package, TIGER DRIVER!! Cover, TWO!! Mark survives and Kyle is arguing the count! Mark goes to a corner, Kyle runs in, GAMANGIRI! Then he reels Mark in, suplexes, but Mark cradle counters and rolls through! FISHERMAN BUSTER! And the fans fire up as Mark goes to the corner! Mark climbs, but Kyle stands! GAMANGIRI again! Kyle climbs up now, and he suplexes, but Mark lands out!

Mark CLUBS Kyle, then straitjacket and torture racks! But Kyle grabs the ref’s shirt! The ref slaps Kyle’s arm away, Kyle ands out, and he dodges Mark! Mark almost hits the ref, and then turns around into a LOW BLOW!! Kyle gets away with one, and then he hits a BRAINBUSTER!! Cover, TWO?!? Mark survives and Kyle can’t believe it! But Houston loves it! Kyle stalks Mark to ropes, hauls him up, SNAP HALF ‘N’ HALF! But Mark’s on his feet?!? Kyle just gets him for another SNAP HALF ‘N’ HALF! Mark staggers up again, but then leans against ropes. Kyle grins, reels Mark back in, a third SNAP HALF ‘N’ HALF!

Kyle mocks Mark to get up, and Mark does rise! Kyle watches Mark stagger and tumble to the apron. The fans boo but Kyle goes out the side. Kyle positions the table and then goes up the corner! Kyle drags Mark up to the very top, but Mark fires body shots! RKF UPPERCUT! Kyle falls to the apron, then stumbles to the table! Mark is up, FROGGY-BOW down through the table!!!! The fans are going nuts, and Mark still stands back up!! Mark pushes Kyle into the ring, climbs back up the corner, FROGGY-BOW AGAIN!! Cover, TWO!!! Kyle survives and Mark is shocked! But Mark hurries to get Kyle back up!

Mark puts Kyle on the top rope backwards, then straitjackets him into the torture rack! Kyle resists using legs, but Mark CHOPS him on the back! Mark then UPPERCUTS Kyle, Kyle falls off the corner, and Mark goes up again. Mark reels Kyle back in, underhooks him, but Kyle fights free! GAMANGIRI!! And then another GAMANGIRI!! Kyle hoists Mark up, TOP ROPE BRAINBUSTER!!!! Cover, KYLE WINS!

Winner: Kyle Fletcher, by pinfall

Mark’s win in the C2 was not a fluke, but Kyle made sure this one wasn’t, either! It was bloody and brutal, but Kyle then grabs a mic to say, “I told you…! I told you…! I proved tonight that Mark Briscoe’s win over me was a fluke! And in one week, I do the same to Ospreay!” The fans boo but Kyle says not only Ospreay, but Kyle will prove that the Best Bout Machine & The Aerial Assassin are no longer the future, but that the future stands RIGHT HERE! And it is The Protostar, KYLE…! FLETCHER!! The Aussie Arrow is as dangerous and confident as ever, but will he and The Alpha really win the Grand Slam tag team dream match? Or will the be beat by the Best Bout Bruvs?

My Thoughts:

A great Collision, especially as a partial go-home to Grand Slam next Saturday. The cold open promos from Kyle and Mark were really good, but I’m still not a fan of cold open promos because they have to be quick and yet I can’t keep up with them that quickly. I do appreciate we got Mark Davis being a reluctant member of the Don Callis Family to help add to what we saw on Dynamite. Davis is clearly only in this to get back at Ospreay for Ospreay not being a better friend and all that, so he didn’t want to beat up on randos just because. And then Kyle VS Mark was an awesome and wild main event. Great win for Kyle, but that’s because Ospreay & Omega are gonna win at Grand Slam now.

Very good promo segment from Okada and Buddy to hype their match, and maybe Buddy wins, but I guess it really depends on how the Aussie win-loss record is gonna split. Harley Cameron and Mercedes Mone had a very good segment, though I thought we were going to get more songs from Harley before Mone interrupted. Harley getting the title match she wants is a great moment, but I’m thinking this means she loses her match. Mariah of course beat up her opponent tonight, but that was a great little surprise with Luther and Toni. The go-home math builds towards Mariah winning, but if anyone were to defy that expectation, it’s Toni Storm.

Moxley and Marina showing up to basically start the show was pretty wild, but what kind of promo was that from Moxley? Did he forget that just three days ago, Jay White made it clear it was going to be White & Cope VS Moxley & Claudio in a tag match? The way he worded it made it seem like he forgot, or like he was trying to make it his idea, not theirs. But we got better stuff from Claudio, Pac & Yuta after that great Trios Triple Threat. I figured the Undisputed Kingdom would win, and we’ll get an awesome Trios Championship match. I could see the Kingdom winning so as to put the Death Riders on the defensive with only the world title left.

Good stuff from the Ricochet VS Swerve story. Tying DEFY Wrestling into this is great, as well as having Bun B get in on that backstage promo. Revolution is definitely the goal for the Ricochet VS Swerve rematch, and I would think they up it with No Disqualifications and the robe being the unofficial prize. Good promo from Caster to call out “Hangperson,” but I would think Hangman does answer the Open Challenge for Dynamite. Dustin of course got a win tonight, and he called out MJF ahead of their match. That’ll be some great stuff, but I bet MJF cheats to win. Then maybe Jeff Jarrett goes after MJF to set up a match for Revolution. That or they give us Hangman VS MJF as they’ve been teasing.

Rosa VS Ford was a good match, but there was certainly a legit moment of concern for Ford in the middle. It might just be, but I feel like Ford hasn’t gotten the ring rust off even this long after her return. But Megan Bayne starting on a story with Rosa is great for Megan. Megan’s already strong, tall, with great presentation, so taking the fight to a former AEW Women’s World Champion is going to help establish Megan in the division. Megan can even be on the other side of a title feud after Revolution, depending on who holds what titles. Good promo from FTR, and I suppose they were being generic about who they were challenging as it might take time for FTR to get back to the tag titles.

LFI pulled off one of the gnarliest squashes I’ve seen, but that was a great way to get Hologram’s return. Hologram & Komander VS LFI is good stuff, and I feel like Hologram VS Rush should be the blowoff. Great match from Bandido VS Keith, and a great win for Bandido. Hobbs had a good promo to follow up while calling out Bill. As I said before, Bandido VS Jericho for the ROH World Championship is definitely happening. And then Hobbs VS Bill will be some great stuff, I’d love if they did some kind of ring breaking spot, same as we’ve seen many times in WWE.

My Score: 8.8/10

Backstage interview with Jay White.

Renee Paquette is with the Switchblade, and says she wants to talk the newfound alliance he seems to have with Adam Copeland. Yeah, he made it just in time for the show, luckily they’re close to the airport. But that new relationship, that’s building in real time before our very eyes. There is no real history between him and “Cope,” but there is something there for him and FTR. They haven’t always seen eye to eye, but the last time they spoke, White said that to fight the Death Riders, he’d need to rely on those he usually wouldn’t. Now he must rely on FTR and the Rated R Superstar, Adam Copeland.

Because the Death Riders, they always seem to have the numbers. Well, speaking of, the Death Riders storm up on White! White wants them all to hold on a minute, let’s get a head count. Because up behind the Death Riders is Rated FTR! White shows that it is all right on time! And the brawl is on! White has Moxley while Rated FTR brawls with the AEW World Trios Champions! These eight throw hands as they move further backstage! Moxley sends White into road cases, but White hits back! Moxley RAMS White, the rest of the fighting is closer to gorilla now, and spilling out to ringside! The fans fire up as Cash sends Pac into railing!

Cash then brings The Bastard around to send into the side of a tunnel! Part of it chips off! Pac gets up to kick back, the brawling continues, and now we’re at the ring! The fans fire up as Cope RIPS Claudio’s shirt off to fire hands! Moxley and White brawl among the fans, and Moxley DUMPS White over railing. Dax beats Yuta down, Cope DUMPS Claudio over barriers, and White fires hands on Moxley! Yuta sends Dax into steel steps, but White sends Moxley into some! White and Moxley end up in the ring, but Yuta hurries in. White catches Yuta for a BLADERUNNER! But then Moxley has White! White clinches, Pac BOOTS him!

Dax storms in, Pac SOBATS Dax, runs, but Dax avoids the dropkick! Cash joins in, SHATTER MACHINE for Pac! Claudio drags Dax out, and SWINGS him into railing! Cash BLASTS Claudio, then DIVES into an UPPERCUT! Moxley calls to his Death Riders and they all mug White! The fans boo but Moxley tells White he can go to hell, because he doesn’t stand for anything! But Cope is up! Claudio saves Moxley to take the SPEAR! Moxley stays back, the Death Riders regroup, and now they’re in retreat. ATL cheers on Cope, and Cope tells Moxley, “I don’t know if you can hear it, but these folks here are chanting one name.”

So then, Moxley, what’s your answer? You still got a set of nuts? Is he accepting the challenge for the AEW World Championship at Revolution? Moxley storms back up to ringside, but only so far as to grab a mic and say, “You deserve nothing, you get nothing, the answer is ‘no.'” The fans boo but then White shouts at Moxley! White tells Moxley he has an offer for him! White can make Moxley Breathe with the Switchblade while drowning in a pool of his own blood! Moxley & Claudio VS White & Cope, ANYTHING GOES in a Brisbane Brawl, Grand Slam: Australia!! The fans like the sound of that! Will Cope & White make things Rated R when AEW goes down under?

BREAKING NEWS for Grand Slam: Australia!

After being called out by Buddy Matthews twice, Kazuchika Okada wants to prove “I not b*tch!” The Rainmaker is giving the Aussie Juggernaut his shot at the Continental Championship, but will he deny Buddy the hometown victory? Or will Buddy be the one to make it reign?

Will Ospreay VS ??? w/ Don Callis!

While the Aerial Assassin is going to be taking on Konosuke Takeshita & Kyle Fletcher alongside Kenny Omega in Brisbane, it would seem the newest member of the Don Callis Family wants to fight him first! But just who is it? Callis makes his way out here with a mic to say, “Ladies and gentlemen, I have a very important announcement to make.” The fans chant, “F Don Callis!” but Callis says the opponent for Ospreay tonight is a man he knows very well! A man he called his brother! Ladies and gentlemen, it’s MARK DAVIS! Ospreay is completely shocked! Davis was last scene trying to knock sense into Kyle Fletcher! How did Callis get Davis on his side?

That mystery aside, the bell rings, and the fans chant “YOU SOLD OUT!” at Dunkzilla. Ospreay gets in Davis’s face, pushes him, then SLAPS him! Davis CHOPS Ospreay right back! And CHOPS him again! And again! The fans boo but Ospreay puts Davis in the corner to CHOP, CHOP, and CHOP! Ospreay whips, Davis cartwheels and scoops Ospreay to SLAM him! But Ospreay avoids the senton, then basement DROPKICKS! The fans fire up for Ospreay and he CLUBS Davis on the neck. Ospreay fires forearms, then UPPERCUTS! Ospreay whips, Davis reverses, but Ospreay KICKS in return! Ospreay then dodges a lariat, but runs into a BACKDROP!

The fans boo but Davis soaks it up. Davis runs up on Ospreay in a corner to LARIAT! Ospreay sits down, Davis runs and SLIDING FOREARMS! Ospreay clutches his jaw, Davis covers, TWO! Davis drags Ospreay up to scoop and SLAM! Davis looms over Ospreay, then drags him up. Davis wrenches and CHOPS Ospreay, then CHOPS again! Davis CHOPS Ospreay off his feet, and now SENTONS down on him! Cover, TWO! Davis brings Ospreay up to suplex high and hard! Ospreay clutches his back but Davis KICKS him! Ospreay goes to a corner, but Davis CHOPS again! Ospreay fires forearms and the fans rally up, only for Davis to CLAW Ospreay’s face!

Davis reels Ospreay in, puts him up top, and then throws sumo style palm strikes! Ospreay sputters, the fans rally, but Davis climbs up. Davis brings Ospreay to the very top, but Ospreay fires body shots! Ospreay sends Davis down, then springboards, PIP PIP CHEERIO! Direct hit and Davis bails out, but Ospreay kips up! Atlanta fires up but Callis coaches Davis while Dynamite goes picture in picture.

Ospreay aims, but Davis hurries up to HOTSHOT him first! Ospreay staggers away and Davis soaks up heat while going around the outside. Davis storms up the steel steps to get back in the ring, and he brings Ospreay up, only for Ospreay to KICK, KICK, and KICK! Ospreay whips, Davis reverses, but Ospreay wheelbarrows and steps through! Ospreay has the legs for a FIGURE FOUR! Davis endures and tries to pry the hold open, but Ospreay slaps the trapping leg back down! Davis grits his teeth but his shoulders are down for a cover! TWO, and Davis crawls backwards. Davis drags Ospreay along, and manages the ROPEBREAK!

Ospreay lets the hold go, then he grabs the legs, only for Davis to BOOT him away! Both men scramble to their feet, and Davis CHOPS Ospreay! And CHOPS him again! Ospreay blocks the next, then wrenches the arm to grab the leg! SHIN BREAKER, then a leg sweep! Ospreay steps through again, and it’s back to the FIGURE FOUR! Davis endures all over again, but he powers up to turn things over! Now Ospreay endures, and he crawls his way to the ROPEBREAK! The hold is undone, and both men slowly rise. Ospreay fires a forearm, Davis fires a CHOP, and Dynamite goes to break.

Dynamite returns as Davis soaks up heat. Davis storms up on Ospreay to CHOP! And CHOP! But Ospreay CHOPS, CHOPS, and CHOPS! Davis shoves Ospreay to then CHOP LARIAT in the corner! Davis bumps Ospreay off buckles, then reels him in for a DRAGON SUPLEX! Ospreay goes flying, and then Davis adds a KNEE! Davis isn’t done with Ospreay, he pulls on the arms to then KNEE DROP! Cover, TWO! The fans fire up as Ospreay survives, but Davis reels him in. Ospreay grabs a leg to CLUB it! Ospreay runs, but into a CHOP! Davis whips, Ospreay handsprings, and NEURALIZER KICK! The fans fire up as Davis goes down!

Davis goes out to the ramp, but Ospreay fires the fans up more! “BRUV! BRUV! BRUV!” Ospreay takes aim to PLANCHA! Down goes Davis again and Ospreay high-fives Atlanta! Ospreay storms back up on Davis, puts him in the ring, then goes up the corner. Ospreay springboards, but Davis catches him! Fireman’s carry and- NO, Ospreay slips free to SUPERKICK! Ospreay swats the lariat to HOOK KICK! Ospreay then springboards, OSCUTTER! Cover, TWO! Davis survives, and Callis was almost in the ring to stop it! The fans boo Callis, Callis tells them to shut up, but Ospreay throws the elbow pad away!

Ospreay aims, runs up, but Davis LARIATS first! Ospreay stays up, and he fires a flurry of palm strikes! But Davis LARIATS again! Ospreay stumbles, Davis hops on, SATELLITE PILEDRIVER?! Cover, TWO!!! Ospreay survives that wild attack, but Davis snarls as he goes to a corner. Davis RIPS a buckle pad away! The fans boo but Davis storms back up on Ospreay. Davis drags Ospreay up, but the ref notices the bare buckle! The ref wont’ let Davis get that one! The ref and Davis argue, Ospreay HIDDEN BLADES!! Cover, Ospreay wins!!

Winner: Will Ospreay, by pinfall

Callis wanted Dunkzilla to be his “Ospreay Killer,” but the underhanded tactic did not work out! As for Ospreay, he grabs a mic to say, “Oh, yes, bruv! Atlanta! Oh my God, it’s like a little party in here, right? And Don. Seeing as you like to crash the party and you’re a little bit of a party pooper, I’ve got a new best friend back there who I’m teaming up with in Australia Grand Slam.” The fans chant for “KENNY! KENNY!” and here he comes! Callis is already panicking! Callis finds his way out into the crowd to run away as Omega makes his way down to the ring. Omega stands with Ospreay as the fans cheer him on.

Omega says, “Now, we’ve been here a couple times now, but I don’t remember a reception quite like that. So thank you very much, Atlanta.” Omega says this was meant to be a celebration for Ospreay, but Omega must get this off his chest. Omega tells Davis that man to man, Omega has no clue what Ospreay has on him, but trust Omega. Even though it might be scary, even though it might seem hopeless, help is there, and there are people you can trust. The fans cheer that. Omega says in a little over a week, Omega makes his AEW in-ring return with Grand Slam: Australia. But listening to these voices made him get that itch so he had to come out here in person, if they don’t mind.

The fans cheer more, and now Kyle and Konosuke storm out here! Callis tells them to stand down, they still have their tag match with Brody King & Buddy Matthews. Omega tells them all that they’ve done this song ‘n’ dance already. If the Callis Family wants this right here, right now, then go ahead. Omega’s an EVP again, they’ve got nothing but time. But if not… Then Omega suggests they pack their bags, hop on a jet, train, and get ready for Brisbane, Australia! Grand Slam, Ospreay & Omega VS Fletcher & Takeshita! It has been a long time since people could really feel what Omega was feeling in 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023!

And now that Omega is BACK here in 2025, all the fans will get to feel the exact same things! Next week, it won’t just be a match for fun or to prove they’re better. This is the match to prove that the future of AEW lies not with those cowering on the ramp, but those right here in this ring! The fans cheer, and Omega says it may have been almost a year, but if they know the words, say it with him. He must bid you adieu, so goodbye, MWAH! And goodnight, BANG! Pyro goes off, and even Omega is surprised! But will it be no surprise when the Best Bout Bruvs bring down Don Callis’ cronies?

The Hurt Syndicate is here!

Atlanta chants along, “We Hurt~ People!” as Montel Vontavious Porter and the NEW AEW World Tag Team Champions, Bobby Lashley & Shelton Benjamin, make their way to the ring. MVP makes sure to say hey to Westside Gunn as he hangs out ringside. MVP then grabs a mic to say, “Ladies and gentlemen, ATLiens, and the AEW viewing audience, this is an official announcement from the Hurt Syndicate. Right now, I need everybody to stand on their feet and respect for the Standard of Excellence, Shelton Benjamin, The All Mighty, Bobby Lashley, your NEW AEW World Tag Team Champions!” The fans do stand and cheer, and MVP says that sounds good.

MVP says he’ll keep this short and sweet because they have to hop on the jet and head to New Orleans for the Super Bowl. MVP has to give props to Private Party. Two young, talented athletes with a very bright future, but they were just the wrong people in the wrong place at the wrong time. It was not their fault that they had to face the most devastating duo in ALL of pro-wrestling today! And MVP would like to put everyone else on notice: If you are an AEW athlete, if you are a champion, get ready. Because when the Hurt Syndicate chooses to come see you, they will hurt you and take your title!

But until that time, they’re open for business. And if you would like an opportunity to face them for the tag team championships, then- Wait. That music… “By order of the Bang Bang Gang… GUNNS UP!” Austin & Colten are here! But Lashley & Shelton don’t even bother looking at them, even as Austin & Colten walk down the ramp. Austin has the mic to say they mean no disrespect. But if they’re businessmen, then Austin & Colten would like to talk business. MVP says they don’t look like businessmen, and certainly aren’t dressed like it, but MVP says they’re at least conducting themselves as men, so go ahead. Step up and state your business.

Austin & Colten join the Hurt Syndicate in the ring, and Austin says before getting to the business, Gunns Up for the Atlanta Gold Members~! And to properly introduce themselves, they are The Gunns, former AEW World Tag Team Champions. They have been waiting TWO YEARS to get a rematch, and the only reason The Hurt Syndicate has those titles now is because Austin & Colten have been gone. But guess what? They’re back, baby! Colten says, “Oh, you guys hurt~ people~? Well, congrats on doing your jobs. That’s kinda what this business is about. But now it’s time for us to do our job, which is take back our tag team titles!”

MVP says he’ll tell them what. He appreciates the moxie and respects the courage. But he also respects their father, and if not for that, these two monsters would’ve already choked the Gunns out. But MVP is about business. He shakes hands with the Gunns, and says next week, for the AEW World Tag Team Championships, it’ll be the Hurt Syndicate VS the Ass Boys. The Syndicate moves on, and Austin says, “Ass Boys? Hey, Ass Boys? Y’know what? YOU GADDAMN RIGHT WE ARE! And if you’re not down with that, we got two words for ya! GUNNS UP!!” Austin & Colten no longer let words hurt them, but will a fight with Lashley & Shelton hurt well enough?

Backstage interview with Mercedes Mone.

At least, Renee is hoping to speak with The CEO. Instead, Muppet Mone pops in! “Atlanta~! Say hello to your C E O~! Renee, I have exciting news! This Saturday on Collision, Harley Cameron will be live in concert~!” Harley pops in and wow, she’ll be live in concert for a “Harley Halftime in Houston” special? Yes! What an amazing idea, Mercedes, that you totally came up with. Thanks! And y’know what? Muppet Mone isn’t such a dummy. She doesn’t get it. Of course not. But Harley says this is fantastic! They’re making up! Muppet Mone says she does want to apologize, she was so awful to Harley last week.

Um, real Mercedes Mone is walking out from her locker room. Mone asks Harley, “Are you stupid? Or are you dumb?” Renee says she’s glad to see Mone is here, she wants to talk Grand Slam and how she still doesn’t have an opponent. Harley did get her first win on TV, so maybe they can talk her trajectory. Mone says aw, Harley got her first victory, how cute. Mone remembers her first-ever win. And she also remembers the feeling of winning her first championship at the age of 23. And the feeling of winning another, and another, and then this title. And the TBS Championship is saying that Mone is the GREATEST TBS Champion ever!

And Harley? Well, she’s nothing but a loser. And losers don’t get to ride the Money Train! Mone SNATCHES Muppet Mone off Harley’s hand, to reveal a middle finger! Mone storms off, Renee hides the middle finger, but it’s a strong one. What will it take for Harley to force Mone into a Grand Slam showdown?

Backstage interview with Hangman Page.

AEW returns as Renee is now with The Cowboy, and she wants to follow up with him from last week. It seemed like Hangman was in pursuit of Swerve Strickland. Hangman says that was nothing. No, y’know what that was? That was a moment of weakness! It was a mistake! And that is all he’ll say on that, and Renee will not asking about it again, understood? Renee says okay, but then two weeks ago, Christopher Daniels came out to say that after their Texas Deathmatch, the damage was so severe that he had to retire from in-ring action. Correct her if she’s wrong, but there appeared to be regret on Hangman’s face.

Hangman simply says, “No.” Hangman says Daniels overstepped, overplayed his hand, and accepted a deathmatch with The Hangman. Hangman did what he said he would, and he hurt Daniels so badly that Daniels will never wrestle again! And Hangman does not regret- Wait, Max Caster speaks up? He wants Renee to have Hangman wrap this up. Caster’s been waiting! Caster respects Hangman, and what he did to Daniels was actually awesome, that was so brutal. Daniels had the neck brace and everything. What if Hangman did that to Anthony Bowens? Caster would do it himself, but he’s busy with his Best Wrestler Alive Open Challenge.

Hey, what if Hangman hospitalized Billy Gunn? Hangman says Caster is on to something. Hangman would love to hospitalize someone tonight. But uh, Hangman doesn’t see Bowens and he doesn’t see Billy, but… Caster’s here. Y-Yeah! Okay, thank you for your time, he’ll just be going to his car. Caster leaves, Hangman says he’ll come with. Will Platinum Max ever learn how to not stick his foot in his mouth?

Konosuke Takeshita & Kyle Fletcher VS Brody King & Buddy Matthews!

As we saw earlier tonight, The Alpha & Aussie Arrow want after Ospreay & Omega something fierce, but they’re going to wait until AEW arrives in Brisbane. As for the Hounds of Hell, they’re ready to take a bite out of any and every champion in AEW, so Konosuke’s on their list. Will Brody & Buddy build momentum going into Grand Slam: Australia? Or will the Don Callis Family be ready for the Best Bout Bruvs?

The teams sort out and Kyle starts against Buddy for a showdown of Aussies. The bell rings, Kyle and Buddy stare down and the fans fire up. Kyle and Buddy feel things out, tie up, and Buddy wrenches to a wristlock. Kyle rolls, wrenches back, and hits an ELBOW BREAKER! Kyle clamps onto the wristlock but Buddy rolls, rolls, and wrenches back. Buddy YANKS the arm, then YANKS the arm again! Kyle endures, rolls, and he wrenches in return. Kyle has the wristlock, tells the fans to shut up, but Buddy spins through and headlocks for a takeover! Buddy grinds Kyle down to a cover, ONE, and Kyle headscissors.

Buddy kips up, avoids a leg sweep, then headlocks again. Kyle powers up and out, they RAM shoulders, but Kyle hits a headlock takeover. Buddy headscissors but Kyle kips free, then Kyle ducks ‘n’ dodges. Kyle sunset flips, Buddy rolls through, and Kyle avoids the Penalty Kick! The fans cheer the standoff, and then Kyle tags Konosuke. The fans rally up as Konosuke and Buddy circle. They knuckle lock, Buddy waistlocks, but Konosuke switches. Buddy switches, they switch again and again, and Buddy powers Konosuke to ropes. Brody tags in before Konosuke bucks the O’Conner Roll, and while Konosuke stares Buddy down, Brody steps in.

The fans bark and Brody CHOPS Konosuke down! And CHOPS him down again! Brody eggs Konosuke on, so Konosuke fires haymakers! Brody CHOPS back down! Kyle storms in and CLUBS Brody, but Brody CHOPS Kyle down! Brody storms up on Konosuke but Konosuke bails out. Brody keeps on Konosuke, sending him into apron, then into railing! Callis is the only one happy about this, and he says, “On to Grand Slam we go!” Will we see this level of devastation happen to even Ospreay & Omega?

Samoa Joe & Hook walk the halls.

The Samoan Submission Specialist asks if the Cold-Hearted Handsome Devil is ready, and Hook says yeah. But wait, where’s “Speak ‘n’ Spell” Shibata? Hook says Shibata’s back in Japan. But what’s going on? Joe says when people wrap steel around his skull, he tends to get emotional. Hook says Joe once said himself, if you’re furious, you can’t be focused. Joe is annoyed Hook is using his own stuff against him. But they still find The Patriarchy’s locker room. Joe tells Hook he can take lead. Hook storms up and opens the door, but in their way is Nick Wayne & Kip Sabian. Joe asks them, “Where is your daddy?”

Nick says Christian isn’t here right now. Do they have a problem, though? Nah, Joe & Hook can come back when Christian’s here. Kip says yeah, jog on. But then Joe says, “Or… We can leave a message.” Joe & Hook attack Nick & Kip! Joe SMACKS Nick off the locker while Hook hammers away on Kip! Christian Cage & Shayna Wayne walk in now, see what’s going on, and turn right around! Some father he is… Joe tells them to tell “Daddy” that he says hi. Joe & Hook leave and now Christian steps into the locker room, acting as if he didn’t know what happened. Christian pushes the cameraman out of there, was the message received?

MJF is here!

The Devil went down to Georgia, looking for a soul to steal, but seems so did this scumbag. MJF has them cut his music, and he calls out “Geriatric Jeff Jarrett!” All Jeff had to do was stay out of the way of a young, fast-rising, incredibly handsome, humble star, and he just couldn’t do that, could he? No, no, no, and that is why MJF had to teach Jeff a lesson. That lesson is as follows: in AEW, the “E” stands for “Elite.” Not “elderly!” MJF laughs at his own dumb joke, and then says that now that the “carny shmuck” is out of the way, MJF is one step closer to once again obtaining his Triple B! The fans boo that.

MJF says because ain’t nobody on the level of the Devil! Wait, Caster? What’s he doing here? MJF tells Caster to scram, but Caster is pointing to who he’s running from! MJF doesn’t care, this is his time, no Caster’s. But wait! Here comes Hangman! The Cowboy storms in, Caster runs but MJF stands his ground! Hangman stares MFJ down, then pushes past him to go chase Caster through the crowd! MJF asks if this is for real right now. This is his time! But the fans like #CowboyS*it, huh? Well, before he was so rudely interrupted by a talentless, worthless hack… Ain’t nobody- The fans tell MJF to STFU!

MJF does his best to finish his catchphrase, but now DUSTIN RHODES is here! The fans fire up as The Natural heads to the ring but MJF has them cut the music. The dual ROH World Tag Team & Six Man Tag Team Champion steps into the ring, MJF tells him that he was talking, but Dustin tells MJF to shut his stupid trap! All MJF does is come out here and badmouth everybody in the back, degrade them, and even talk about people who aren’t even here anymore, like Dustin’s friend, Owen Hart. MJF scoffs and turns around, but Dustin tells him to look him in the eyes, “you SOB!” Dustin suggests MJF keep Owen’s name out of his mouth, or else Dustin kicks MJF’s teeth in!

The fans fire up, and Dustin tells MJF to stop talking about people’s wives, about people’s pasts, their issues with drugs and alcohol. Dustin is one of those! 16 years clean ‘n’ sober, after going straight to Hell, looking the Devil in his eyes, and kicking his ass! Dustin crawls out of Hell, and he knows MJF ain’t the devil. MJF has all the potential in the world, yet he chooses to go to these dark places. There is a reason Dustin is still here at 55 years old, hanging with everybody on this roster! It is because he is a survivor! Dustin IS the Last of His Kind! Because Dustin has survived everything! Whatever MJF can think of, Dustin’s been though, boy!

The fans cheer but MJF doesn’t seem to care. Dustin tells MJF that when Dustin is gone, the mold will be broken forever. Dustin IS better than you, “and your punk b*tch ass freakin’ knows it!” The fans fire up for Dustin, but MJF says okay, okay, time out. Everybody, bravo, give it up for Dustin Rhodes! MJF applauds and says that was incredible. But MJF has to say, the part where Dustin said he is better than MJF? That was interesting. MJF imagines all those years of Dustin being a worthless drug addict turned his brain into Swiss cheese to come to that realization. But allow MJF to smarten Dustin and all these people on what Dustin’s all about.

“Dustin Rhodes is the man that took 37 long, hard, arduous years of blood, sweat and tears… Just to get out from understand his daddy’s shadow.” The fans boo and MJF says that struck a nerve with “Goldy,” didn’t it? MJF has a better one. The fans chant, “Whoop His Ass!” but MJF says what’s so sad about the whole thing, is that after all that hard work and sacrifice, now Dustin lives in the shadow of his baby brother! Dustin DECKS MJF! The fans fire up as Dustin stands MJF up and they throw more hands! Security rushes in here but the fans boo! “LET THEM FIGHT! LET THEM FIGHT!” Even Jerry Lynn gets out here!

Jerry tries to calm Dustin down, but Dustin breaks free to CLOBBER MJF! The fans fire up but MJF bails out the side! Dustin is fuming but MJF jukes the security! AND LOW BLOWS DUSTIN!! The fans boo as MJF stands over Dustin, a stupid grin on his face. MJF takes his leave for real this time, but now Christopher Daniels gets in his way. MJF tells Daniels not to touch him, but then realizes who he’s talking to. Hangman sure did a number on Daniels, didn’t he? MJF goes to the back, Daniels seethes, but will someone, anyone, ever humble the Wolf of Wrestling?

Mariah May is here!

The Glamour promised she’d watch as her former mentor battled her first-ever AEW opponent once again. But will Mariah like the outcome? Or will it be a repeat performance? Wait, Justin Roberts has a script to read from for Toni’s entrance? “Playing the role of The Glamour, Mariah May… Timeless Toni Storm!” Mariah has no idea what that means, but then her music plays again! And yes, much as when Mariah used to cosplay as Rockstar Toni, Toni is cosplaying as Mariah! Toni struts around, has obvious hair extensions, and perhaps does a bit more teasing with the finger and lips than Mariah does, but everyone else says that’s spot on!

Mariah is seething more and more the more Toni walks around, but will this still be a smash hit of a parody?

Toni Storm VS Queen Aminata!

The bell rings, Toni and Aminata circle, and they tie up. They’re in a deadlock, then break, and Toni tosses her hair and struts around some more. Aminata and Toni reset, tie up, and Toni headlocks. Toni hits a takeover, grinds the hold, and Mariah refuses to play along. Aminata headscissors, Toni shrugs it off, but Aminata gets the headscissors again. Toni moves around, kips free, but Aminata headlocks. Aminata grinds the hold, hits a takeover, but Toni headscissors. Aminata kips free, the two reset, and we see Serena Deeb watching backstage. Will The Professor of Pro-Wrestling think Aminata has passed the test?

Aminata waistlocks, headlocks, wrenches and then steps over to twerk attack! The fans cheer, Toni says, “How DARE you!” Toni SLAPS Aminata, kicks low, then scoops for the SPIN OUT SIDEWALK SLAM! Aminata drop toeholds Toni onto ropes! The fans rally, Aminata runs, but Toni dodges the boot! Toni runs to HIP ATTACK Aminata to the floor! The fans cheer as Toni does more mocking of Mariah before she fetches Aminata into the ring. Toni tosses her hair more, and Mariah seethes again, but Aminata DIVES onto Toni! Direct hit and Aminata mocks the Timeless closeup! The fans cheer, and Dynamite goes picture in picture.

Aminata realizes she has some of Toni’s hair extensions on her so she brushes those off. Aminata then fetches Toni for a headlock, and she runs her into barriers! Toni staggers away, Aminata refreshes the ring count, and Aminata storms up on Toni by commentary. Aminata SMACKS Toni off the desk, and Mariah turns away so as not to watch this. Aminata CHOPS Toni against the desk! Toni falls over dramatically, Aminata refreshes the ring count, but Toni hits back! Toni CLUBS Aminata, CLUBS her again, then CHOPS! Aminata ROCKS Toni, puts her in the ring, then scuffs her in the ropes. Aminata scuffs Toni again, but Toni fires back!

Toni runs, but Aminata LARIATS her down! Aminata soaks up cheers and jeers, then pushes Toni to a cover, TWO! Toni toughs it out but Aminata looms over her. Aminata snapmares Toni, runs, and PENALTY KICKS! Cover, TWO! Aminata grows frustrated but she sits Toni up for a chinlock. Toni endures, even as Aminata leans on her. Mariah is further annoyed as Aminata KNEES Toni in the back again and again! Aminata clamps on body scissors, and she squeezes tight. Aminata turns Toni over for a Gedo Clutch, TWO! Aminata turns Toni the other way, Gedo Clutch, TWO! Aminata shifts to have a leg hook FULL NELSON!

Toni endures, even as Aminata has knuckle locks to pull on the arms. Dynamite returns to single picture as Toni powers back to a cover, TWO! Toni ROCKS Aminata, ROCKS her again, then fires off forearms again and again! The fans fire up as Toni fires off TEN! Mariah still refuses to accept Toni’s copycat. For one, Toni is missing two very obvious elements. Toni puts Aminata up top, DOUBLE CHOPS her, then frolics around a la Mariah. Toni runs, goes up, and hits STRATUSFACTION! Then a SHOTGUN! Cover, TWO! Mariah mocks Toni being dramatic. Toni drags Aminata up, reels her in, but Aminata trips her to a jackknife bridge, TWO!

Toni CHOPS, but Aminata grins. Aminata CHOPS Toni, Toni CHOPS back! The fans rally, the CHOPS keep going, then Toni SLAPS Aminata! Aminata SLAPS Toni! Toni SLAPS again! Aminata runs up, but Toni wrenches, kicks, and whips! Aminata goes up and over, then GERMAN SUPLEXES! Toni tumbles and more hair extensions fall away! Aminata runs and the fans fire up for the BOOT WASH! Aminata again mocks the closeup, then she drags Toni in for a cover, TWO! Mariah says Toni is playing the role of Mariah, Aminata is apparently Timeless, where does it all end? Aminata drags Toni up, Alabama Lifts, but Toni turns that into a DDT!

Toni hurries to run, and she KNEES Aminata to a corner! Then Toni gives us a proper closeup, for the SWEET HIP MUSIC! Then Toni makes sure Mariah sees this as she fireman’s carries, MAYDAY DRIVER! Cover, Toni wins!

Winner: Toni Storm, by pinfall

Mariah is fuming all over again, but Toni proves that anything Mariah can do, Toni can do better. Renee joins Toni in the ring to interview her. But then Toni wants Renee to play along and call her “Mariah,” The Woman From Hell. “And I stand on the neck of every woman in this division. And there’s not a woman alive that can touch me!” Mariah has had it! Mariah storms off commentary to get in the ring! Toni offers her a chance, but then Mariah storms back out to grab her belt and leave. Will Toni get the better of Mariah when they finally have their rematch?

Dustin Rhodes speaks.

“For 37 years, people have been chipping away, trying to put me in the ground. I’m still here! Maxwell Jacob Friedman, I live for blood, sweat and tears! I am the Last of My Kind! I’m around for a reason, boy! And next Tuesday night, Austin Texas, MY backyard, this ain’t New York City, this ain’t Long Island, I’m gonna beat your ass! B*TCH!” The Natural has put MJF on notice, but will everything be bigger in Texas?

The Learning Tree is on stage.

Chris Jericho, Bryan Keith & “Big Bill” are here, and Jericho says, “Hi, guys~! And welcome to a very special, first-time-live edition of The New York Minute with me, Chris Jericho!” The fans boo but Keith shouts, “RESPECT CHRIS JERICHO!” Jericho says they are here in Georgia, the Big ALT! Um, no… Keith says it stands for, “APPRECIATE LEARNING TREE!” Jericho is pretty sure he speaks for everyone here in ALT when he says he doesn’t know how Bandido decided he’s a Wanted Man returning on Collision. No one here wants Bandido in AEW! But since he’s back, Jericho will turn this into a teachable moment.

“Bandido, apparently there’s a $100,000 on your head. But since I’m standing here with an actual Bounty Hunter, this week on Collision on Saturday-” The fans tell Jericho STFU, but he says no swearing! Jericho promises to double the bounty to $200,000 if Keith can do to Bandido what Big Bill has done to “Powerhouse” Hobbs! Bill tells Hobbs that wherever he is, Bill hopes- WAIT! Hobbs is here!! And Hobbs runs up to brawl with all of The Learning Tree! The fans fire up, but this 3v1 isn’t going Hobbs’ way! But wait! The Outrunners run out here! Turbo Floyd & Truth Magnum want payback for being cheated last Saturday!

The fans cheer as the fight is now even! Bill brawls with Hobbs, Jericho & Keith brawl with Truth & Turbo, but security hurries out here! Fan want to “LET THEM FIGHT!” Bill grabs one guard by his neck! But then he sees Hobbs doing the same with another security guard. Bill gives his guard a SKYSCRAPER CHOKE SLAM to the floor! Hobbs gives his guard a POWERHOUSE CHOKE SLAM to the floor! The fans chant “MEAT! MEAT! MEAT!” as both men storm into the ring! They circle, then they start throwing hands! The fans fire up, and Hobbs TACKLES Bill to the apron! But Bill drags Hobbs to the floor!

Bill CLUBS Hobbs, but Hobbs SPINEBUSTERS Bill onto the desk, and then over it! They still scrap on the floor! Atlanta fires up as Hobbs HAMMERS Bill, then stands up. Bill staggers to his feet, Hobbs fires more hands, and the cameraman is collateral! Refs rush out, Dynamite goes to break, and this has been a New York Minute! But when and where will Hobbs and Bill settle things once and for all?

Ricochet VS Swerve Strickland w/ Prince Nana!

This fight has been a long time coming, and the animosity only escalated with every week we had to wait! The One & Only is no longer pretending to be a hero, now he’s living the life of an American Psycho. But will that be enough to be the most dangerous man in AEW? Or will even Atlanta be “Whose House?” “SWERVE’S HOUSE!”

But Ricochet attacks from behind during Swerve’s entrance, and with a chair! The fans boo but Ricochet says this is because of them! And he SMACKS Swerve again! The ref reprimands, but there’s nothing he can really do since this isn’t a match yet! Ricochet SMACKS Swerve again! The fans rally for “Whose House?” “SWERVE’S HOUSE!” while Ricochet stalks Swerve. Ricochet puts Swerve in the ring, stands over him, and tells him that this is Ricochet’s House now! Swerve SLAPS Ricochet! The fans fire up, the bell rings, and Ricochet comes back to JUMP KNEE! Dragon sleeper, VERTIGO!! Cover, TWO!!

Swerve survives and Ricochet is stunned! Ricochet goes back to a corner, but Swerve crawls up to him! Ricochet kicks Swerve down, then hits a BACKBREAKER! The fans boo but Ricochet stands Swerve up to ROCK him! Ricochet scoops for another BACKBREAKER, but the fans taunt him with, “You Are Bald!” Ricochet CLUBS Swerve, dragon sleepers, but Swerve slips around to put Ricochet on ropes. Ricochet fires hands, Swerve fights back, and Swerve whips. Ricochet ducks ‘n’ dodges, jumps over the dropdown, then he SHOTGUNS Swerve as Swerve tries to hurdle! Swerve tumbles out of the ring, Ricochet builds speed, and Ricochet DIVES!

Swerve is sent into barriers, but then Ricochet whips him hard into railing! Ricochet soaks up heat from the fans, then he drags Swerve up to push against barriers. Ricochet hops up onto the barriers, then brings Swerve up. The fans step back a bit, and Ricochet reels Swerve in. Swerve fights the lift, throws body shots, but Ricochet throws hands! They both throw haymakers, the ring count climbs, and Ricochet gets the edge. Ricochet goes up, but Swerve stops the rana to BARRIER BOMB!! Ricochet falls in a heap and the fans lose their minds! Nana cheers Swerve on as the true and only champion that matters!

Swerve stalks Ricochet, puts him in the ring, and Nana keeps the “Whose House?” “SWERVE’S HOUSE!” chant going. Swerve storms up on Ricochet, bumps him off buckles, then has him under the corner. Swerve rips the crossbar’s padding away, to GUILLOTINE CATAPULT Ricochet into it! The fans fire up again while Dynamite goes picture in picture.

Swerve scowls while Ricochet sputters. Swerve stalks Ricochet around the corner, stomps him down, then fishhooks him into standing up. Swerve fireman’s carries Ricochet to then hit SNAKE EYES off the railing! Swerve then puts Ricochet against the apron to fire hands! Swerve puts some stank on it before he SLAPS Ricochet’s bald head! Swerve puts Ricochet in, stomps him again and again, then gets Atlanta really fired up. Swerve ELBOWS Ricochet down, then stalks him to a corner. Swerve climbs up to shine Ricochet’s head! Then SLAPS him again and again! The ref counts as Swerve keeps slapping!

Swerve reels Ricochet in for an Atomic BACKBREAKER! Ricochet writhes from being bent back against Swerve’s shoulder, but then Swerve drops a knee! Swerve drags Ricochet up, bumps him off buckles, then UPPERCUTS! Swerve snapmares again, then goes up to FALLING UPPERCUT! Swerve hits the Griddy as ATL cheers him on. Swerve then digs his boot into Ricochet at the ropes. The ref counts, Swerve steps off, and he looms over Ricochet again. Ricochet tries to push Swerve away but Swerve grabs an arm. Ricochet throws hands from below so Swerve KICKS him around! Swerve ROCKS Ricochet, and Dynamite returns to single picture.

Swerve throws hands on Ricochet again and again, then whips him to a corner. Swerve UPPERCUTS in the corner, snapmares him again, then goes back up. But Ricochet stands to kick the legs out! Swerve is stuck in ropes, and Ricochet hits as DRAPING CODE BREAKER! Cover, TWO! Ricochet rains down fists, then growls in frustration. The fans rally but Ricochet brings Swerve up. Ricochet swings Swerve into a BACKBREAKER, then he basement DROPKICKS Swerve in the back! Ricochet keeps moving, and he FALLING AX HANDLES! Fans make up a new chant, “Who’s Bald?” “RICOCHET!”

Ricochet is annoyed, but he brings Swerve up. Ricochet ROCKS Swerve, but Swerve ROCKS him back! Swerve ROCKS Ricochet again, but Ricochet knees low, then CLUBS Swerve on the neck! Ricochet CHOPS Swerve, but Swerve eggs him on! Ricochet CHOPS again, then runs, but into an UPPERCUT! Swerve runs, but Ricochet Tiger Wall Kicks, SOBATS, and KNEES Swerve down! Ricochet grabs ropes now, but Swerve YANKS him back into a GERMAN SUPLEX! Swerve then somersaults and FLATLINERS! Eddy Gordo roll, HOUSE CALL!! The fans are thunderous and Swerve says that’s not enough! Swerve goes up top, for the KILL STOMPS!! Cover, TWO?!? Ricochet survives and shocks Swerve! Swerve stalks Ricochet to the apron, the fans rally up, and Swerve fireman’s carries. Ricochet slips free to HOTSHOT Swerve, then HOTSHOT again!

Ricochet says he does what he wants! Ricochet triangle jumps, but the rana slips off target! Ricochet improvises to APRON GERMAN SUPLEX! Swerve flops down, the fans boo, but Ricochet hurries to get Swerve back in. Ricochet springboards for the 450 SPLASH! Cover, TWO!! Swerve survives but Ricochet hurries right back up! Winner: Ricochet, by pinfall

A lot of controversy in that finish, and Ricochet grabs the robe! Nana also has it, but Ricochet SHOVES Nana down! Ricochet wears the Mogul Embassy robe, adding insult to injury as he takes his leave. Swerve is seething, but is AEW going to be #OuttaThisWorld from now on?

My Thoughts:

A great Dynamite, but with some new head-scratcher story moves. Mark Davis being the new Don Callis Family member would’ve worked better if this was months ago. Davis has been hanging around, but we barely got any interactions of him and Kyle or Don Callis, so there were no hints at Davis wanting to turn. That doesn’t make this surprise surprising, it makes it confusing. Ospreay VS Davis was still good stuff, and we still got a good promo from Ospreay with Omega to add to the Grand Slam tag match. Speaking of, great tag match of Konosuke & Kyle VS Brody & Buddy, but very fitting that Okada would screw Buddy over now that their title match is happening. As I said for Collision, Okada VS Buddy is going to be awesome, even if Buddy still loses.

Then there’s The Gunns challenging The Hurt Syndicate for the tag titles. It’s not even so much that the Gunns don’t deserve a title match, or that they and the Hurt Syndicate won’t put on a good title match, it’s just… We literally opened tonight with Jay White, leader of the Bang Bang Gang and friend of The Gunns. Why aren’t The Gunns helping Jay White against The Death Riders? Why isn’t it 6v4, but then the trios titles become the reason the Bang Bang Gang doesn’t quite help out Rated FTR like they should? I want to be frustrated for reasons that are perfectly in story, not because the story itself is lacking.

Though to that point, the Death Riders VS AEW story really should’ve been all encompassing. It felt like it was going to be that when this all started, with how Garcia, Private Party, Dark Order, and a lot of others were standing together against The Death Riders, but then it all fell apart because we still needed things like Garcia VS Perry for the TNT title and such. White & Cope VS Moxley & Claudio in a “Brisbane Brawl” No Disqualifications match will still be great stuff, and surely that compels Moxley to face Cope 1v1. I still think we need Christian Cage to get back on this story given his Casino Gauntlet contract.

Christian Cage was hilarious tonight by totally avoiding that beating Joe & Hook gave Kip & Nick. And while Shibata is apparently in Japan, he could come back and we get a Six Man Tag against Patriarchy. Harley Cameron was also hilarious, and between the Muppet Mone and the “Harley Halftime in Houston” segment this Saturday, Mone might be angered into giving Harley the title match for Australia. Toni Storm continues to be a creative genius in her own right where she imitates Mariah for her match with Aminata. Serena Deeb watching the match is another dropped ball TK picked back up, but I guess he kinda had to since Britt Baker didn’t want a feud with Deeb. Britt is a whole different issue, we might not get a real answer on that for some time.

MJF had a good promo, but Dustin showing up was a touch of a surprise. Dustin is upset not just for Jarrett but for the disrespect showing to Owen Hart, but of course MJF gets his own shot on Dustin. MJF VS Dustin will be some good stuff, but surely Double J goes after MJF and we get that match for Revolution. This week’s New York Minute might’ve been the best because it turned into that huge brawl, with the New York Minute graphic still on it. Keith VS Bandido will be good stuff, and surely Bandido wins to set up Bandido VS Jericho for the ROH World Championship. Hobbs and Bill getting to wreck security guards as fun, and they’ll have a great grudge match, too.

Great main event from Swerve and Ricochet, with Ricochet ambushing Swerve as a good start. While Ricochet didn’t get that poison-rana to the apron, that’s just one of those moments where they go just a little too fast and it doesn’t work out. Ricochet still did good improvising with that German Suplex, and then he of course wins with “controversy.” This is certainly going to give us another match, maybe even for Revolution, and they’ll surely turn it up a notch. Honestly, an apron poison-rana is more fitting of a rematch than the first time we see this match in AEW, so this worked out for the better.

My Score: 8.8/10
