Tony Schiavone is in the ring.
“Fans, we were so excited a week ago to welcome one to the AEW roster of the biggest stars in the entire world. And we know you wanna see her live, let’s bring her in right now, The CEO, Mercedes Mone!” Toronto fires up and chants along as The CEO makes her entrance in bright red and white for Canada. Mercedes joins Schiavone in the ring and he says the crowd says it all. The floor is hers. The fans cheer as Mercedes takes the mic and says, “Torontooo~! Please say hello to your new C E O.” The fans cheer again, and Mercedes says she is still on a high from last week at Big Business. She missed all of this.
She missed the ring, the ropes, the fans! She missed all of this! And she is so excited to be here in AEW. The fans cheer that, and again chant, “C E O! C E O!” Mercedes a lot of them don’t know this, but all of this almost got taken away from her. This almost got taken away from her ten months ago, with an injury that almost ended her career. It was in the NJPW Strong Women’s Championship match against Willow Nightingale. Now, she knows that’s the past, and this is her new home, and a lot of people might not know who “Mercedes Mone” is, so she asked the production truck to play the video she put together so that we can all get a taste of Mone.
The fans cheer as the video highlight reel begins. Highlights from last week, but also Renee Paquette saying, “She is an iconic global star. From the red carpets of Hollywood to the runways of Paris. But her true calling: dominating professional wrestling everywhere around the world.” Footage from NJPW and Stardom show Mercedes defending the IWGP Women’s Championship and competing for the NJPW Strong Women’s Championship. “Now above all else… Mercedes Mone is All Elite.” The fans cheer in the present, and Mercedes says she was rocking and rolling, kicking but all over the world, but then it got taken away from her.
She didn’t know how she was going to come back, but she knew that she needed to come back. Minor setbacks make for major comebacks! And now, here she is, as the CEO! The fans cheer that, and Mercedes makes her mission clear. She isn’t here to lead an evolution. She did that. This is going to be a global revolution! She is here to face the very best women in AEW and around the world. Now, about last week, when Julia Hart, the TBS Champion, and Skye Blue attacked Willow. They must not have heard Mercedes earlier when she said she has unfinished business with Willow. And anyone who gets in her business will go bankrupt!
Mercedes says you will pay when you mess with Mone! Mic drop and the fans chant again, but then the lights go out! Everyone understands what this means, and then when the lights come up, Julia is on the ramp! And Skye is sliding into the ring! But Mercedes blocks the haymaker to spin her around, for a BACKSTABBER! But then Julia slides in! Mercedes blocks Julia’s kick to KNEE her and then hook her up! But Skye saves Julia from the Money Maker! The fans boo but Mercedes says come on then! Julia & Skye go looking under the ring, and they bring out chairs! Mercedes sees she’s in trouble, but wait! Here come Willow & Statlander!
The fans fire up as the Galaxy’s Greatest Babes with the Power also have chairs! Julia & Skye back off, then the lights turn off! And when they come back up, the House of Black is gone. And Willow is aiming at Mercedes?! Fans are torn, but then Mercedes turns around. Willow drops her chair, showing she could’ve. Mercedes asks if that was really what she was gonna do. Mercedes storms off, and Willow will just have to save all that for tonight’s Street Fight on Rampage.
Backstage interview with Kazuchika Okada & The Young Bucks.
Alex Marvez says tonight, the Continental Championship is on the line, as The Mad King defends against the man who pinned him last week in trios action, The Rainmaker, Kazuchika Okada. Nicholas Jackson commends Marvez for showing respect and using Okada’s full name. But next time, show even more respect by speaking Okada’s native language of Japanese. Matthew says it’s fine, Okada is new here. Has Marvez heard of Duolingo? Matt’s already down 165 consecutive days so he is crushing it. For example, he asks Okada, “Mizu arigato gozaimasu.” Okada understands, Matt wants water.
See? So it’s fine, Marvez, you’re trying. But this man right here, just look at him! So dang handsome, so friggin’ charismatic, and he has a big Continental title match tonight. And if there’s anyone who rises to the occasion, it’s Okada. Nick says tonight, the Continental Championship has “Continental Rules,” which means one important thing. Matt knows, they can’t be ringside. Bummer. But you know where they will be? Behind the curtain, headsets on, and they will be Okada’s personal match producers to catch all the action and replays. They have Okada’s back. How is “Rainmake” feeling? Okada tells Eddie in Japanese that he’s taking that belt, and he’ll make it rain.
Then in English, “Eddie, I’m coming for your title.” Okada heads out, Matt asks if Marvez got that first part. No. Then study up and know it by next week, dumbass. Matt says tonight’s gonna be a great show, let’s kill it! The Bucks head out now, will Marvez ever win?
AEW Continental Championship: Eddie Kingston VS Kazuchika Okada!
The Mad King has been defending the Triple Crown so much, it feels odd that only one belt is on the line. But whether it’s one belt or all three, Eddie is looking to humble the biggest star to come out of NJPW perhaps in its entire 52 year history! Will Eddie still have all the gold after tonight? Or will The Rainmaker make it reign in AEW already?
Renee Paquette is on the ramp and she says Toronto knows how to make big moments. Tonight, the legendary Okada makes his AEW singles debut for the coveted Continental Championship. She had the chance to speak to Eddie earlier, and Eddie said that any person has a 50-50 shot of winning in that ring. Tonight, Eddie looks to dispel the mystique of Okada. Eddie makes his entrance now, the introductions are made, and the Continental belt is raised. Tonight, we see what it takes to pry even one belt from the Mad King’s grip!
The bell rings and the fans fire up as Eddie stares down Okada. Toronto is dueling between “EDDIE! EDDIE!” and “O-KA-DA! O-KA-DA!” The two feel things out, circle, and then tie up. They’re in a deadlock, and Eddie powers Okada back step by step. They end up on ropes, Eddie lets off but Okada turns things around. Okada lets off slowly, but then fakes the chop to pat Eddie on the shoulders. Eddie doesn’t even blink, he just fires off fast hands! The fans fire up as Eddie then snapmares and KICKS Okada, then CHOPS! Then KICKS! Then CHOPS again! Okada falls back and the fans are thunderous already!
Eddie looms over Okada, drags him up, and turns him to then CLUB him down. Okada bails out and the ref keeps Eddie back. The fans boo but Okada uses the ring count to catch his breath. Eddie chases Okada around the outside, but then Okada suckers Eddie in to CLUB him down! Okada drags Eddie up, CLUBS him again, then headlocks. Okada grinds the hold, but Eddie pries at it. Okada clamps on tighter, the fans rally up, and Eddie powers out. They RAM shoulders but Eddie shakes his head. Eddie dares Okada to run, so Okada runs, and they RAM again! Okada eggs Eddie on now, so Eddie runs, to run Okada over!
The fans fire up but that took something outta Eddie’s shoulder, too. Okada flops out of the ring, a count begins, but Eddie storms out after Okada. Eddie chases Okada again, they go up the ramp, but Okada kicks low! DDT to the floor! Eddie writhes and Okada grins, maybe even laughs at Eddie, and we get a shot of the Bucks fist bumping while they sit next to Tony Khan. Matt wants a replay so we get a replay of the DDT. Okada puts Eddie in the ring while the fans duel, and Okada stalks Eddie to the far side. Okada brings Eddie up and around, turns him, and hits a NECKBREAKER! Eddie writhes, but Okada stands on him for a cover, ONE!
The fans boo the arrogance but Okada just grins. Okada then grabs Eddie’s arms to wrap him up in a straitjacket! Eddie endures, the fans rally, and Eddie fights up. Eddie powers up and out but Okada knees low! Okada snapmares Eddie to then run and basement dropkick! The fans rally and duel while Dynamite goes picture in picture.
Okada goes back for Eddie, slaps him around, and looms over him. Eddie CHOPS, but Okada eggs him on. Eddie CHOPS again, and Okada still eggs Eddie on! Eddie CHOPS and Okada staggers back! Okada comes back to kick low and DDT! Cover, TWO! Okada doesn’t sweat it, he just brings Eddie back around. But Eddie grabs Okada’s throat! The ref reprimands and counts but Okada kicks Eddie low. Okada then bumps Eddie off buckles, then throws a heavy elbow! And another! Okada lets off then goes corner to corner to JUMP ELBOW! Eddie staggers, then sits down and falls back. Okada paces, unimpressed.
Okada clamps onto Eddie with a chinlock. Eddie endures as Okada grinds him down. Eddie pries at the hold but Okada JAMS Eddie with a knee to the back. Eddie still pries at Okada’s grip, opens the hold, but Okada KNEES him again! And the chinlock is right back on! Eddie endures all over again, pries at the grip all over again, but Dynamite returns to single picture first. The fans rally while Okada CLUBS Eddie. Okada scuffs Eddie, eggs him on, but Eddie glares. Eddie stands, and CHOPS! Okada sticks his chest out again but Eddie CHOPS and CHOPS and CHOPS! Okada headlocks, knees low, then whips.
Eddie reverses and catches Okada, into the COBRA TWIST! Okada endures, pries free, and he goes to hip toss! Eddie blocks to trap the arms, OVERHEAD SUPLEX! Eddie roars, runs up, STO! The fans fire up while both men are down! Toronto sings, “F him up, Eddie, F him up!” Eddie and Okada slowly rise, Okada goes to a corner, and Eddie snarls as he runs in. Eddie clotheslines, then fires off the MACHINE GUN CHOPS! Eddie then clinches but Okada fights the suplex! Eddie shifts position but Okada still fights the suplex! Eddie shifts again, GERMAN SUPLEX! And then SLIDING FOREARM! Cover, TWO!
Okada is still in this and Eddie double checks the count. The fans rally and duel even harder, but Eddie scuffs Okada now. Eddie eggs Okada on but Okada smirks. Okada stands, Eddie CHOPS! Okada wobbles, so Eddie RIDGE HANDS again and again! Eddi runs, into the DROPKICK! The fans fire up seeing Okada’s million dollar shot, and Okada drags Eddie back up. Okada Alabama Lifts to then tuck and REVERSE NECKBREAKER! Cover, TWO! Eddie is still in this and Okada is upset. Okada drags Eddie up, scoops him and SLAMS him! Then standard formula, Okada goes up a corner! MACHO- NO, Eddie gets up!
Okada turns around, into the URAKEN!! But Eddie has to crawl to Okada! Cover, TWO!!! Okada survives and Eddie is beside himself! The fans continue to duel as both men stir. They sit up, and Eddie fires the first forearm! Okada gives it back, so Eddie fires another! Okada fires a forearm, so Eddie HEADBUTTS! Okada drags Eddie up to ROCK him! Eddie CHOPS and Okada drops back! Okada stands, winds up, and fires a forearm! Eddie CHOSP, CHOPS, and then reels Okada in! NORTHERN LIGHTS- NO, Okada slips free of the scoop! Okada waistlocks, Eddie throws elbows, but Okada DISCUS LARIATS through the block!
The fans fire up while Eddie falls and Okada drops to his knees! Eddie rolls to a corner, Okada glares at him. Okada runs corner to corner, but Eddie BOOTS him! Eddie then LARIATS Okada down! The fans fire up as the straps come down! Eddie hauls Okada up but Okada grabs the ref! Then Okada CLAWS Eddie’s eyes! The ref sees that and reprimands. Okada gut wrenches, Eddie slips free and ENZIGIRIS! Eddie winds up, Okada rises, URA- NO, Okada ducks and scoops, SPINNING SLAM! Okada then brings Eddie up, ripcords, RAINMAKER!! Cover, Okada wins!!
Winner: Kazuchika Okada, by pinfall (NEW AEW Continental Champion)
The Triple Crown has been broken as Okada becomes the second-ever AEW Continental Champion! The Bucks celebrate backstage, and they give Okada the celebratory fireworks! But wait! PAC is here! The Bastard said he was looking for trouble, and he just found it! Okada holds up the belt and says bring it then! Pac storms back out, is he going to wash away the rain?
Backstage interview with Swerve Strickland.
Renee is with The Realest, as well as Prince Nana, a steel chain in Swerve’s hand. Renee says last week, Swerve went after Samoa Joe with said chain, what were his intentions? The same as always: The AEW World Championship. Now, two weeks ago, Samoa Joe attempted to embarrass Swerve, tried to humiliate Swerve in front of the whole world, but choking him out. Unfortunately for Joe, Swerve has a history for choking people out, too. that’s why Joe is running and ducking him. Then what are the plans for tonight? Oh, well, they’re in Renee’s hometown of Toronto, right? Yeah, The Six as it’s called.
Swerve has been inspired by watching Mike Tyson sparring, getting ready for his fight, so Swerve wants to fight, too! He wants to spar with somebody! How about an Open Challenge? Swerve will go to that ring, and anyone who wants to come see him is welcome. Just make sure you send a big man, though. Tonight, we turn Toronto into whose house? “SWERVE’S HOUSE!” Swerve & Nana head out, but who will end up an appetizer before Swerve sinks his teeth into Samoa Joe?
Backstage interview with Kris Statlander, Willow Nightingale & Stokely Hathaway.
Renee says tonight, in the main event of Rampage, Kris & Willow take on Julia & Skye in a Street Fight, a situation they are very familiar with. But how is tonight going to be different? Willow says you all know her. She’s usually all smiles, a ray of sunshine. But after tonight, she will have been in more Street Fights than any other woman in AEW. And with THE Kris Statlander by her side, a weapon in her hand, she is a completely different Willow. Kris tells Julia & Skye that she meant what she said last week. This is going to be the end of it! But then in steps Mercedes Mone. Kris says she wanted to say this before: Thanks for having Willow’s back last week.
Mercedes says of course. This is what a CEO does. A CEO stands up for what she believes in. And she’s gonna love watching their Street Fight tonight, because as they say, “Payback’s a b*tch.” And thanks for having her back earlier tonight, it’s great to meet Kris. They shake hands, and Willow is about to say thanks but then Mercedes says Willow has done enough. Stokely introduces himself but Mercedes heads out. Stokely tells Willow not to be so worried, she broke Mercedes’ ankle before. Willow sighs and says, “Stokely…” Willow leaves, Stokely shrugs. But will the Galaxy’s Greatest Babes with the Power be running wild on a Rampage tonight?
Hook VS Chris Jericho!
The FTW Champion earned The Ocho’s respect through the All-Star Scramble and their tag match against the Gates of Agony. But now we see if he can earn a win against the inaugural AEW World Champion! Will this be the biggest win in the Cold-Hearted Handsome Devil’s young career? Or will Lionheart show he’s still got it?
The bell rings, Jericho and Hook stare down. They tie up, Hook gets around, T-BONE! Jericho writhes from how hard that landing was and the ref checks him. The fans rally behind Hook and Hook waits on Jericho. Jericho staggers up, leans on ropes, but has to sit back down. The fans boo but the ref checks Jericho again. That landing might’ve been harder than even Jericho anticipated, but he says he’s alright now. So Hook fires off haymakers and forearms! The fans fire up, Hook fires off in the corner, but lets off as the ref counts. Jericho CHOPS in return! And CHOPS again! And CHOPS again!
Jericho swings, Hook ducks, and he has the clinch again! T-BONE! Hook covers, TWO!! Jericho stays in this but Hook stays on him with more fists! Hook drags Jericho up, bumps him off buckles, then fires body shots. Hook whips corner to corner, runs up, but Jericho ROCKS Hook with that right hand! Then CHOPS! Jericho ROCKS Hook with a forearm, then CHOPS again! Jericho fires up, the fans are torn, but Jericho whips corner to corner. Jericho runs up, Hook dodges and waistlocks, GERMAN SUPLEX! Jericho holds his head again but Hook hauls him up again. GERMAN SUPLEX! The fans fire up as Hook paces around Jericho.
Hook drags Jericho up, waistlocks, and GERMAN SUPLEXES again! Jericho tumbles and the fans fire up for Hook more as Dynamite goes picture in picture.
Jericho goes to the apron but Hook drags him back into the ring. Hook reels Jericho in for another GERMAN SUPLEX! Hook paces while Jericho again clutches his head. Jericho manages to turn over, but Hook just drags him back up! GERMAN SUPELX! Hook revels in the cheers as he paces around Jericho. Jericho slowly sits up at the ropes but Hook is right on him. Hook ROCKS Jericho, ROCKS him again, but Jericho hits back! And CHOPS! And CHOPS again! Hook counter punches and Jericho falls back! Hook revels in the cheers again, then stands Jericho up to fire more forearms! Hook has Jericho in a corner, and whips corner to corner hard!
Jericho staggers, but he fights off Redrum! Jericho pries the grip, throws elbows, but Hook waistlocks again! GERMAN SUPLEX!! Hook still paces around, almost toying with the living legend at this point. Hook drags Jericho back up, points at him, as if telling Jericho he wanted this. Jericho CHOPS Hook again! And CHOPS again! Dynamite returns to single picture as Jericho whips, but Hook reverses and gets around, to GERMAN SUPLEX!! Hook is manhandling Jericho to say the least, and he hauls Jericho up again. GERMAN SUPLEX! Hook soaks up more cheers from the fans before he goes back to Jericho.
Hook stands Jericho up again, another waistlock, but Jericho fights to victory roll! Jericho has the legs! But Hook fires hands from below! Hook BOOTS Jericho away, runs in, but Jericho BOOTS back! Hook falls, staggers back up, but Jericho runs in to shoulder tackle! The fans boo but Jericho aims, and he runs Hook over again! Hook stands, dodges Jericho, but Jericho goes to the apron and goes up! DOUBLE AX- NO, NORTHERN LIGHTS! Hook turns things right back around, and then runs up to LARIAT! Jericho staggers up, Hook swings but Jericho dodges to BOOT! Jericho springboards to LIONSAULT! Jericho is slow to the cover, TWO!
Jericho is still rattled from being thrown around about a dozen times, and the fans rally for Hook. Jericho drags Hook up, CHOPS, then CHOPS again. Jericho whips, but Hook KICKS back! Hook runs up, into the OVERHEAD SUPLEX! Now Hook takes a tumble! Jericho runs up to BOOT WASH! Jericho stands Hook up in the corner to CHOP! Then Jericho hoists Hook up top, climbs up, and the fans are torn as Jericho rains down fists! The fans still count along, but Hook stops Jericho at six! Hook has a half nelson, then turns Jericho for REDRUM!! Jericho works to climb down but Hook has body scissors clamped on, too!
The fans fire up as Jericho flails and reaches out! Jericho drops to his knees, the fans keep on rallying, and Hook brings Jericho to the mat!! Jericho pries at fingers, gets free, and he throws elbows down! Fans boo as Jericho gets the legs! But Hook makes it a cradle! HOOK WINS!!
Winner: Hook, by pinfall
Jericho is stunned, but Hook nods. The FTW Champion gets a win over one of the best to ever do this, and Jericho swallows his pride to offer a fist bump. Hook gives the fist bump and the fans cheer. Will the momentum from this wind #SendHook to the top of AEW?
Adam Cole speaks.
“I hate the feeling of being disappointed. And last week, Wardlow, you disappointed me. You challenged Samoa Joe for the AEW World Championship, and you failed. Wardlow, you had one damn job, and you failed! And right now, I should be- You should be the AEW World Champion. So instead, you have a new goal, and that’s to make sure that The Undisputed Kingdom hangs into the gold that we have. You are going to make sure that Taven & Bennett keep those ROH Tag Team titles. You are going to make sure that Roderick Strong keeps the AEW International Champions. And then maybe we’ll forgive you.
“Wardlow, I’m not saying this out of anger, I’m saying this because I care about you. Wardlow, I want what’s best for you, and I want you to reach your true potential. So don’t screw it up.” A stern talking to from the Panama City Playboy, will the War Machine make sure the Kingdom’s treasure is protected?
Backstage interview with Chris Jericho.
Dynamite returns with Renee finding The Ocho and saying that was “quite the upset” in the match Jericho wanted so that Hook could earn his respect. After what just happened, did he? Jericho says last week, he said he wanted to face Hook 1v1 for a reason. Hook lived up to expectations. Not only did he hurt Jericho’s neck, he almost hurt his pride. But Jericho was hoping Hook would do what he just did. Hook did something Jericho hasn’t seen in a long time. Hook is a future world champion, and is as every bit “a bad, bad man as everyone says you are.” After tonight, Hook has Jericho’s respect. And next week on Dynamite, Jericho has a proposition for Hook.
Just what is The Ocho going to offer the Cold-Hearted Handsome Devil when next they meet?
Tony Schiavone is back in the ring.
Schiavone says it has been a big night already, but now, let’s bring in the Aerial Assassin, Will Ospreay! Toronto fires up for the #BillyGoat as he makes his entrance. They chant “OSPREAY! OSPREAY!” with the music as Ospreay joins Schiavone in the ring. Schiavone says the last time Toronto saw Ospreay was Forbidden Door and his classic match against Kenny Omega. The fans chant “BRUV! BRUV!” as Schiavone says we’re on the doorstep of an equally classic match-up, Ospreay VS Bryan Danielson at Dynasty. Ospreay says he will clear the air: last time he was here, he was a “naughty boy.” He gets it, but he has changed. He is here for the betterment of AEW.
So Ospreay wants to tell Canada he apologizes for what he did last time. The fans cheer the personal growth as Ospreay says he is here for the betterment of AEW, so he apologizes, and is here to give elite levels of pro-wrestling. But in return, Canada, he needs some of that maple syrup! The fans chant for “BRUV! BRUV! BRUV!” and Ospreay says this is mad. But he said what he wanted to say about Bryan Danielson, until he watched Collision and saw Bryan VS Shibata, and what a match! He hopes all the lads studied that, because that, chef’s kiss. But what Ospreay wants to say now is in response to what Bryan said after the match.
Bryan said in one breath that he is grateful to be stepping in the ring with Ospreay, but in the other breath said that Ospreay can’t walk in Bryan’s shoes. The fans boo but Ospreay says hey, give it a sec. Maybe Bryan’s right. Because when Ospreay went to Japan, the place Bryan wanted to be star, and Ospreay saw Bryan’s shoes! Look, right there! And Ospreay couldn’t believe it! He said to himself, there’s no way he could fit in Bryan’s shoes. Wanna know why? Because they were too SMALL, bruv! The fans cheer that! Oi, Bryan, what you did in Japan was great, don’t get him wrong. But what Ospreay did in Japan was elevate wrestling!
What Ospreay did in Japan was win Best of the Super Juniors twice, win the Junior Heavyweight title three times, the Openweight title, Junior Heavyweight title, and more importantly, THE IWGP World Heavyweight Championship. The fans cheer and Ospreay says that even then, he somehow can’t walk in Bryan’s shoes? Want him to prove it? Alright. Ospreay calls out Shibata, “Hisashiburi desu ne. Long time no see.” Seven years ago, Ospreay faced Shibata, and has no problem saying it, Shibata beat the piss out of him. But would you like to know the difference between a 23 year old Ospreay and right now?
Ospreay is 30, has two pugs, three cats, a kid, a missus, a mortgage, and more importantly a point to prove. The fans like the sound of that! So next week on Dynamite, Ospreay VS Shibata, while Bryan sits at home and watches so he can see what the #BillyGoat is all about! The Aerial Assassin is aiming for big targets, will he be able to best The Wrestler this time around?
Toni Storm & Mariah May w/ Luther VS Deonna Purrazzo & Thunder Rosa!
The Leading Lady and her number one fan had quite the debut as a duo, but now they’re facing quite a dream team on the other side! Will the AEW Women’s World Champion and her cosplay double be able to make it through this scene? Or will the Virtuosa and La Mera Mera make Toni snap back to reality?
As Rosa makes her entrance, she looks to Deonna. They nod and they both rush into the ring! They dodge Storm & Mariah, then trip them both up to rain down fists! The fans fire up but the ref reprimands them all. Storm and Rosa tumble out of the ring, still scrapping as they go, and Mariah SLAPS Deonna! The bell rings, Deonna fires forearms with Mariah! Deonna clotheslines Storm, tags Rosa, and Deonna traps Storm while Rosa BLASTS Mariah! Deonna then sets up and Rosa runs in, POETRY IN MOTION! Rosa drags Storm up, Storm ROCKS her and shoves her, but Rosa rebounds to drop toehold Storm onto ropes! Rosa dials it up to STRADDLE ATTACK! Rosa talks smack on Luther, shoves Storm away, but then Luther takes a swing! Rosa jumps it, the ref sees Luther and reprimands, but then Storm HIP ATTACKS Rosa down! Luther taunts Rosa and Dynamite goes picture in picture.
Storm stalks Rosa, CLUBS her, then CLUBS her again. And CLUBS her again! And again and again! Storm puts Rosa in, drags her around and tags in Mariah. Mariah puts some stank on the CHOP! Then she CHOPS again! And again! Rosa shoves Mariah but Mariah BOOTS Rosa down! Mariah then scoops to SPIN-OUT SIDEWALK SLAM! Cover, TWO! Rosa stays in this but Mariah stays on her. Mariah bumps Rosa off buckles, tags Storm, and Storm stomps a mudhole in. Storm digs her boot in, lets off and argues with the ref, allowing Mariah to CHOKE Rosa! Deonna protests but Mariah gets away with it, and Storm CLUBS Rosa down.
Storm brings Rosa around for a BACKBREAKER! Storm bends Rosa against her knee but Rosa endures. Rosa throws hands, but Mariah goes around the outside to trip Deonna up! Deonna chases Mariah away, Storm covers Rosa, TWO! Storm tags Mariah, and Mariah digs her boot into Rosa. The ref counts, Mariah lets off, and she snapmares Rosa into a motorcycle stretch. Rosa endures, fights up, but Mariah bumps her off buckles. Tag to Storm and she RAMS into Rosa! And RAMS again! And again! Tag to Mariah and Dynamite returns to single picture. Storm whips Mariah in but Rosa BOOTS her! Then Rosa BOOTS Storm!
Rosa goes up and up and DOUBLE CROSSBODIES! The fans fire up and Rosa hot tags Deonna! Deonna rallies on Mariah, kicks low and KNEE LIFTS, to then RUSSIAN LEG SWEEP! Roll through and FUJIWARA! Mariah rolls free, but Deonna BOOTS her down! Cover, TWO! Mariah survives but Deonna drags her up. Deonna brings Mariah around, Gotch Lift, but Mariah fights free! Deonna still grabs an arm! Mariah stays up, shoves Deonna away, but Deonna boots her! Rosa tags in, but Deonna is taken off guard by it! Storm tags in, she runs up, and she SHOTGUNS Rosa! Deonna BOOTS Storm!
Deonna chases after Storm, gets Mariah but Mariah HEADBUTTS! Rosa fireman’s carries Mariah for the DEATH VALLEY DRIVER! The fans fire up and Storm waistlocks Rosa! GERMAN SUPLEX! Rosa ends up in a corner and the fans fire up as Storm has her close-up! Storm runs in to SWEET HIP MUSIC!! And then STORM- JACKKNIFE! Rosa & Deonna win!!

As Swerve promised earlier tonight, he is issuing that Open Challenge! Who is big and brave enough to face The Realest? It’s The Butcher! He’s big, bad, and beefy, but is he bad enough to take down Swerve’s House?
The bell rings and the fans chant “Whose House?” “SWERVE’S HOUSE!” Butcher talks trash, but Swerve just smirks. Then Swerve HEADBUTTS! Swerve fires off hands, stomps a mudhole, then lets off to drag Butcher up. Swerve fireman’s carries, for a SNAKE EYES! Butcher staggers, Swerve runs to BOOT him down! Swerve follows Butcher to a corner, runs him corner to corner to bump him off buckles, then rolls to run and UPPERCUT! Swerve snapmares Butcher to go up and FALLING UPPERCUT! Nana reminds us the chain is here while Swerve hits the Griddy. Swerve then runs up, but Butcher ELBOWS him!
Butcher hammerlocks and RAMS Swerve into a corner, then snapmares and KICKS him! Swerve clutches the shoulder, but Butcher whips. Swerve reverses, Butcher reverses back, half nelson BACKBREAKER! Butcher drags Swerve back up to ROCK him with a forearm! And ROCK him again! Swerve stays up, though, and he laughs it off! He BOOTS Butcher, BOOTS again, then fires Kawada Kicks! That’s a message right to Joe! Swerve turns but Butcher reels him in. Swerve hooks free and ROCKS Butcher! Swerve runs, but Butcher redirects him to LARIAT! But Swerve’s right back up! And he basement dropkicks Butcher’s head!
The fans fire up, Swerve says, “Whose House?” “SWERVE’S HOUSE!” HOUSE CALL! Butcher is down but Swerve grins because he ain’t done. Swerve goes to the corner, goes right up top, and KILL STOMPS!! That’s still not enough! Swerve clamps on a short arm scissor, and he wrenches way back! Butcher taps, Swerve wins!

The first submission win for Swerve in AEW, that is clearly another message sent to Samoa Joe. Swerve gets the chain, but also the mic. “Samoa Joe. Before I met you, man, I had nothing but utmost respect for you. And then as I got to know you, at first I felt a little indifferent. Then after awhile, I really stopped liking you. And now… You’re getting me very close to hating you. As I stand here with this chain in my possession, every day I think about wrapping it around your neck and hanging it on that post, and squeezing and pulling ’til you don’t move no more. But your big ass neck, I don’t got enough chain for all that.”
Swerve says Joe needs to understand. Every week, Joe will keep sending security to watch himself, and Swerve will take ’em out one by one until Joe gives him exactly what he wants. But wait! Samoa Joe is here! Toronto fires up for “JOE! JOE! JOE!” as the AEW World Champion steps down the ramp. Joe has a mic to say, “Well what to do, what to do, with someone like you, Swerve. Now logic should dictate that I ignore you completely, because contrary to your belief, I beat you at Revolution and you’ve been shoved back down the championship ladder. You see, we can’t do that with people like you.”
Joe asks if Swerve knows what his major problem is. It’s that Swerve still believes that the impossible is possible! That if you stand toe to toe with Joe, you can box with God! And the problem with that belief is that it becomes infectious, and then all these people, “no matter how sad or mundane their lives are,” start believing that they can be great, too! That they can be champions! The fans boo and Swerve scowls but Joe says that is all fine, until someone like Joe shows up, smashes them in the face, and takes everything that they have. It is with that realization that Joe knew exactly what to do with someone like Swerve.
“And it’s to give you exactly what you want.” The fans fire up as Joe storms down, but then out hurries Don Callis! Callis has everyone hold on but the fans boo. Callis says it strikes him that when you’re in Swerve’s House, you can just book yourself into a world title match! Swerve, it strikes Callis that Swerve and the Alpha, Konosuke Takeshita, have the same number of wins. The difference is, Takeshita is undefeated outside the Don Callis Family! So Swerve, Callis is thinking that Takeshita needs to show Swerve what it tastes like to lose to The Family! If Swerve’s feeling good, Callis will happily teach him a lesson he’s taught many people!
“This place, this company, is not Swerve’s House! This is the Don Callis Family House!” The fans boo as hard as they can, and Swerve says if he had more time and wasn’t distracted, he’d burn the Don Callis Family tree down to a crisp. But y’know what? Challenge accepted, Swerve will face Takeshita. And when he’s done with The Alpha, he’s coming for Joe. The Realest has his next target, will he hit the mark and soon be primed for another title opportunity?

AEW TNT Championship I Quit Match: Christian Cage VS Adam “Edge” Copeland!
Forty YEARS of friendship, the highs and the lows, from the team that reeked of awesomeness to two living legends that have won singles title after singles title, now end this where it all began. Toronto is their home but it’ll become a warzone, and in the end, only one man leaves here with their head held high, gold around their waist. Will Captain Charisma finally prove to the world and himself that he is the better between them? Or will we finally have a new Face of TNT?
The introductions are made, the belt is raised, and we see who loses much more than just a match!
The bell rings and the fans are already losing their minds. Edge and Christian soak up all that energy, then they fire hands! Christian gets the edge, puts Edge in a corner, then whips corner to corner. Edge reverse hard and Christian falls back off buckles! Edge already loads up! Edge runs in, but Christian bails out! Fans boo but then Edge WRECKS Christian with a dropkick! Edge goes out to fetch Christian, throws hands, and Christian tumbles over barriers into the crowd! Edge pursues, and sends Christian into the barriers! This back segment of fans fires up as they get closer to the action, and Edge puts Christian in the penalty box!
Edge storms inside, rains down fists, and the fans fire up! Edge goes up to “borrow” a fan’s Boston Bruins hockey jersey! He puts it on Christian, then gets a fan’s Toronto Maple Leaves jersey! They hockey fight and the fans are thunderous again! Edge uses the jersey to trap Christian so he can throw hands! The jersey comes off, Edge ROCKS Christian again and again, then CLUBS him against the box! The fans fire up and this goes up higher into the stands! Edge RAMS Christian into the railing in front of section 110, rows A through S, seats 13 through 24, and Dynamite goes picture in picture!
The fans rally as Edge brings Christian along past that section to then ROCK Christian again. And again! Christian hurries away but Edge keeps him from going up the stairs to then RAM him into section 112! The fans fire up as they go through the curtain and into the concourse! Edge SMACKS Christian off a table, off another table, then RAMS him into a wall! Edge takes a sip of a fan’s beer, then sees they’re near the women’s restroom. Did Christian really run in there to hide? The ladies running out of it suggest as much. Edge storms in after Christian, but the cameraman stays back here. Edge THROWS Christian back out!
Edge drags Christian around, throws hands, then ROCKS him. They leave the concourse, go back to the stands, and the fans cheer as Edge brings Christian around. Christian throws hands to get away but Edge pursues. Christian CLAWS eyes, hurries away, but Edge DECKS him! Christian slumps down the steps and the fans fire up with Edge. Edge storms after Christian and uses the Leaves jersey to wrangle him back to ringside! Edge THROWS Christian over the barriers, then looks under the ring. Edge brings out a ladder! Dynamite returns to single picture and fans fire up because we all know these two know how to use those!
The fans chant “T L C! T L C!” as Edge brings the ladder around and leans it against the ring. Edge then drags Christian up, ROCKS him, then realizes the ladder works better as a bridge from commentary to the timekeeper’s area! Edge whips, Christian stops himself and elbows Edge! Christian goes up onto the ladder, but Edge ROCKS him with hands first! Edge then goes up onto the desk and he follows Christian onto the ladder! EDGE-O-MATIC on the ladder!! The fans lose their minds over the double edged nature of that move! But as the ref checks, neither man is giving up here. Edge stalks Christian, and SLAMS a monitor on him!
“This is Awesome!” as Christian scurries into the ring. Edge puts the ladder in the ring, opens it up and sets it up upside-down in a corner. Edge gets Christian, and GOURD BUSTERS him inside the ladder! Christian writhes and sputters out of being nearly cut in half, but he still refuses to give up! Christian slumps out of the ring while fans tell Edge he’s sick. Edge goes out after Christian again, scoops him, and then POSTS him! Edge looks around, searches under the ring, and he finds a table! The fans fire up as we’re getting even more TLC elements! Edge brings the table around, leans it up against the barriers, and then he fetches Christian.
Edge throws hands to force Christian to the table, then he gets space. Edge runs in, but Christian leap frogs! Edge avoids the table, but Christian pokes him in the eyes! Then POSTS him! Edge slumps onto the steps, then the floor. Christian shifts the table and moves the steel steps. Christian goes to the apron, goes up the corner, and Edge stands, his forehead bleeding. Christian aims to SUPER CROSSBODY through the table!! Both men are down in the wreckage and the fans lose their minds all over again! The ref checks, but Edge says, “Screw you.” Well, that’s a no. Christian drags Edge from the wreckage and he puts Edge in the ring.
Christian grabs the ladder, puts it sideways in the ropes, and then positions Edge under it! CATAPULT GUILLOTINE with the ladder!! The ladder almost lands on Christian, too, but the ref checks Edge. Edge sputters and pants but he still says no. Christian drags Edge around to a drop zone, then climbs up the corner. FROG SPLASH FLOPS as Edge moves! CROSSFACE!! Christian shouts no, fights around, and he CLAWS the bloody wound! Edge lets go and Christian hurries away. Christian and Edge slowly rise, Edge storms up, Christian dodges. Both men speed up, DOUBLE SPEAR!!! The fans are thunderous, Dynamite goes picture in picture!
Both men stir, and neither has given up yet. Christian goes to the apron then out of the ring. Edge stirs, Christian says he’s done? That’s not how I Quit matches work, Christian! Christian goes up the ramp, but Edge pursues! Edge runs Christian down to CLOBBER him in the tunnel! Edge drags Christian up, and SMACKS him off the LED lights! Christian flounders, Edge stomps him down, then stalks him. Edge throws hands, then scoops Christian, but Christian slips free! Only for Edge to trip him! Edge CATAPULTS Christian off the stage! Dynamite returns to single picture as Christian hits the ground and tumbles!
The ref checks, but Christian shouts “NO!” Edge finds his way down from the stage while Christian crawls around. Edge then brings out a hockey goal! The fans fire up as Edge brings Christian around and scoops him! SNAKE EYES off the top! Then Edge throws Christian into the goal! The fans cheer and Edge stalks Christian. Edge ROCKS Christian, follows him back to ringside, then ROCKS him again! Christian wants mercy but that’s just a ploy! Mama Shayna Wayne is here, with a hockey stick! LOW BLOW! The fans boo for the clear low sticking foul! Christian grins as Shayna gives him the hockey stick.
Edge says he’s not giving up, so Christian CRACKS the hockey stick on Edge’s back! The stick breaks, but Christian puts Edge in the ring. Christian mocks the hockey players then soaks up the boos. Edge slowly stirs, so Christian CLUBS away on Edge! Talk about slashing! Christian flexes and fans boo more. Mama Shayna is all aflutter! Christian CHOKES Edge with the stick, but Edge manages to grumble out, “NO!” Christian lets off, then goes out to search under the ring again. Christian brings out a chair, and the TLC is complete! But wait, here’s another chair! Wait, he doesn’t want that chair? He brings out a BARBED WIRE WRAPPED CHAIR!
Christian brings this wired up chair, sets Edge on the plain one, and fans freak out! Christian takes aim, but Edge dodges the Con-Chair-to! Edge has the barbed wire chair, but Christian BOOTS him first! And then chicken wings, but Edge turns that around! Christian fights free but Edge gets the hockey stick! HIGH STICKING! And then, THE DEAL!! Christian endures the stick in his mouth, but that means he can’t speak! Edge throws the stick away, and he brings his own drawstring out to GARROTE Christian! Christian is turning purple but what he sputters isn’t the two words Edge wants. WAIT, now Nick Wayne and Killswitch-Luchasaurus are here!
Nick & Killswitchasaurus stomp away on Edge and the fans boo! Nick sits Edge up and even Shayna gets in. She takes off her leopard print gloves so she can SLAP Edge! But here comes Daniel Garcia and Matt Menard! They fight off Nick & Luchasaurus and the fans are thunderous! Garcia jumps on Luchasaurus for a SLEEPER! Edge kicks Luchasaurus, to IMPALER on the barbed wire chair! Luchasaurus flops out of the ring, Garcia & Menard stand Nick up, to TOSS him out onto Luchasaurus! It ends up more like a heel kick really! Edge sets up the ladder, climbs it, and Garcia braces it so Edge can SUPER CROSSBODY Luchasaurus & Nick down!
The fans lose their minds all over again as Edge feeds Nick to Garcia, who has handcuffs! Garcia hands those to Edge so Edge can cuff Nick in a corner! Menard & Garcia do the same to Luchasaurus in another corner! Christian’s minions are trapped, and Shayna sees she’s surrounded. She runs away, not wanting to be cuffed! Maybe she does the cuffing? Well, now Christian is all alone! He swings but gets pinballed by Garcia and Menard, into the SPEAR by Edge!! Christian then cuffs Christian in a corner! The Patriarchy is all trapped and Edge goes looking for something. The fans are pretty sure what it is. It’s SPIKE!!
Edge brings the case into the ring, LOW BLOWS Christian for good measure, and then the ref asks. Christian coughs, “No…” Edge LOW BLOWS again and again and again! Edge is making sure The Father of the Year can no longer have any kids! The ref asks, and all Christian can get out is, “Guh…!” Edge opens up the case, and heeere’s SPIKE! Christian freaks out, Menard & Garcia mug him to get him to stay put! Edge LOW BLOWS using Spike!!! Christian coughs and sputters as we officially transition into Rampage’s broadcast window. Christian still refuses to say the words, so Edge aims for the head! “I QUIT! I QUIT!!” Christian quits, Edge wins!!
Winner: Edge (NEW AEW TNT Champion)
The Face of TNT is now Rated R! Edge holds Spike up high, and Garcia places the belt on Edge’s shoulder. Toronto cheers and the confetti flies, what heights will this title reach now that on this day, we see clearly?
My Thoughts:
An awesome Dynamite for Toronto, with so much good stuff set up as Dynasty approaches. Great move bookending Dynamite with titles, and the Continental Championship was a great opener. It was a nice detail to have The Bucks at gorilla with Tony Khan to have them be the incredibly biased producers. I kinda feel like they could’ve done more with that, like them saying more things about camera direction, and I’m also a little disappointed there was no Rainmaker Pose snap zoom. But the match’s pacing was so good, it was fine, that’s definitely more a Face Okada thing. Heel Okada doesn’t do the pose or snap zoom cuz he knows that’s what fans like.
The TNT Championship match was awesome stuff, and I really liked Menard & Garcia showing up to counter The Patriarchy. Spike wasn’t used as much as I thought, but it was used in the most brutal way so that was good enough. Edge wins and finally ends this with Christian, and Christian can be kept out of action for a time because of this match, perhaps putting pressure on Nick and Luchasaurus to avenge him. Edge being the TNT Champion for real now is definitely going to freshen things up, he might even bring back the “Cope Open” to give us title matches on the road to Dynasty.
Really good match from Jericho VS Hook, especially with the story of Hook being so dominant. Hook wins, Jericho gives his seal of approval, and I’m torn between Jericho thinking he can challenge Hook for the FTW Championship and thinking he and Hook can be tag team champions of some kind. Adam Cole had a great promo to harp on Wardlow’s loss and make this about the other titles the Kingdom has. Makes me wonder if #LionHook try for the ROH tag titles for the hell of it, it’s not like Taven & Bennett have any opponents for those right now so they might as well put that match together for the hell of it.
Great promo segment from Mercedes Mone that ties into the TBS Championship story. Good follow-up promo with Kris & Willow backstage, and while I’m about to get to Rampage and that tag team street fight, I really hope Mercedes doesn’t snatch away the TBS Championship opportunity from Willow. Willow should get that shot, then Mercedes gets the winner of Willow VS Julia. And in that case, it really should be Willow winning the title off Julia to defend it against Mercedes to make up for how things happened in the NJPW Strong Women’s Championship tournament finals.
Great promo from Swerve before his match with Butcher, great match with Butcher, great win, and then great promo to follow-up with Samoa Joe and Don Callis. Takeshita is also in action tonight, he’s gonna beat up Rocky Romero, but then he’ll get beat by Swerve to help establish Swerve as #1 contender going towards Dynasty. Great promo from Ospreay to hype things up for him and Bryan while also calling out Shibata. Shibata’s in action for Rampage tonight, he’ll definitely win, but chances are he’ll lose to Ospreay next week after just an epic, PPV worthy match.
And really good stuff from the women’s tag match here. Rosa & Deonna get a great win but it’s very clever for Rosa to tag in unexpected, snatch the finish from Deonna, and essentially get herself in on the title conversation. It would be wild for there to be a Triple Threat for Dynasty, Storm VS Rosa VS Deonna. That way, Mariah can’t help Storm just plain cheat the challengers out of the title, and if the decision comes down to Deonna and Rosa, that technically protects Storm. Storm’s done such a good job reinventing herself, though, who knows if she’d lose even in a Triple Threat, but it’d probably be one of the only ways.

Right as they reach ringside, with Renee Paquette holding the mic for him, Pac tells the Death Riders, “Tonight, I do this by myself, alright? I’ve got this.” Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli, Wheeler Yuta, Daniel Garcia, and Marina Shafir all respect that, and they fist bump Pac before he steps over the barrier. And then Darby DIVES onto him! The fans fire up as Darby DUMPS Pac over, back into the crowd! The fans fire up for Darby and he fires forearms on Pac! The ref reprimands, he wants this in the ring, but Darby headlocks and CLAWS Pac’s eyes! Pac staggers away but Darby pursues, and Darby headlocks Pac again.
Darby brings Pac to the bleachers and GRINDS his face into the safety railing! The fans fire up as Darby drags Pac further up into the stands, then he fires more hands! The fans cheer, and then Darby brings Pac to the very back row. Pac hits back to then bring Darby around the way. They brawl in that space between sections, and Pac CLAWS Darby’s eyes in return! The fans rally for Darby but Pac brings him back around. Pac whips, but Darby reverses, and Pac hits the wall! Darby decides to go up onto that ledge! The fans fire up for the SUPER COFFIN DROP! Pac and Darby fall into the shadows but the fans still fire up!
The fans cheer “A E DUB! A E DUB!” for making this the opener, even though this still isn’t a match on record yet! Pac hobbles his way down the bleachers and towards ringside, but Darby just fires up as he pursues. They return to ringside, and Pac runs to the stage! Darby pursues, Pac keeps going around with the cat ‘n’ mouse, but then he dodges Darby! Darby runs into the barriers, then Pac GERMAN SUPLEXES Darby on the floor! The fans rally while Darby writhes, but Pac is right on Darby. Pac clinches, but then he sees the steel steps. Pac brings the steps around while the ref says they gotta get in the ring.
Pac clinches again, and now he OVERHEAD BELLY2BELLY SUPLEXES Darby on the steps! The fans lose their minds because yes, Darby landed ON the steps! Wedge after wedge in Darby’s spine, and yet Pac is stoic. Pac drags Darby up, puts him in the ring, and the ref wants Pac to wait. Pac says ring the damn bell then! The ref checks on Darby, Darby says do it, so the bell rings. Pac builds up speed for the BASTARD BOMBER! Cover, TWO?!? Darby survives and Pac is furious! The fans rally up for Darby while he crawls to the ropes. Pac grabs Darby’s wrists, and he has Darby under the ropes for a RIPCORD GUILLOTINE! Cover, TWO!
Darby sputters but he survives, and the fans rally up again. Pac storms up on Darby, wrenches an arm, and whips Darby to ropes for a BACKDROP! Darby does a 450 before he belly flops, then Pac deadlift GERMAN SUPLEXES! Bridging cover, TWO! Darby stays in the fight while Dynamite goes picture in picture.
Pac paces while he waits on Darby. Darby crawls to a corner, Pac storms over to him, and Pac digs his boot into Darby’s face. The ref counts, Pac stops at 4, but he digs his boot back in! Darby slumps out of the ring, Pac steps out after him, and brings Darby around by his ear. Pac then THROWS Darby into the LED barriers! Pac stomps Darby, Darby staggers and stumbles away, but Pac just THROWS him into the LED barriers again! Darby slides into the ring but Pac stays with him. Pac digs his knee into Darby’s head, but stops as the ref counts 4. Pac soaks up the heat from Phoenix while Darby sputters his way to another corner.
Pac scuffs Darby, kicks him, then BOOTS him! And digs his boot back in! Darby endures, the ref counts, and Pac stops at 4. Pac drags Darby up to whip him hard into barriers! Darby falls back, checks his jaw, but Pac stands him back up. Pac puts Darby in a corner, on the top rope, and climbs up after him. Pac is on the very top as Maximum Carnage returns to single picture. Darby fires body shots and the fans fire up! Darby HEADBUTTS Pac down! The fans cheer while Pac staggers, and Darby is up to MISSILE DROPKICK! Both men are down and the fans fire up again! A standing count starts, but Darby rises at 4 of 10.
Pac also stands, but Darby fires forearms! Darby whips, Pac reverses, but Darby springboards to COFFIN SPLASH! The fans fire up, Darby BOOTS Pac, then leaps over to roll and SHOTGUN! The fans fire up as Pac falls into the corner! Darby crawls to the other corner, runs up, but into an OVERHEAD THROW into buckles! Pac drags Darby back up to put back up top. Pac goes to the very top, SUPER DUPER OVERHEAD BELLY2BELLY!! The fans rally for Darby but Pac reels him back in. Pac snarls, lifts, and he has the crucifix lift for a RAZOR’S EDGE out onto the ramp! Pac just waits for the count to handle this. The count is already 5 of 10 while Darby is still down. The fans rally as hard as they can, but we’re already at 8! Darby rises up at 9 and LUNGES in! The fans cheer and Pac is annoyed, but Darby drags himself up with the ropes. Darby flips Pac off, defiant to the end! The fans cheer that, but Pac hops down. Oh no, Pac’s ankle jams? Darby pounces! Darby goes after Pac, trips Pac, but Pac slips free! Darby goes up, up, and SUPER COFFION DROPS again! The fans fire up as Darby hurries to get Pac in the ring! The fans fire up as Darby takes aim, APRON COFFIN DROP!! Double-edged for Darby but the fans still fire up! Darby runs at the corner, COFFIN SPLASH! And COFFIN SPLASH! The ref is checking on Pac between impacts, but Pac YANKS him into the path of the COFFIN SPLASH! The fans boo as the ref goes down in a heap! Darby is stunned to see what happened, and he checks on the ref, but Pac hobbles his way around to Darby. But Darby trips Pac first! Darby steps through and turns Pac over, SCORPION DEATHLOCK!! Pac flails, TAPS, but the ref can’t count it! And then YUTA shows up?! What about Pac doing this alone?!
Yuta has a chair, but Darby DROPKICKS the chair into Yuta’s face! Then SCORPION DEATH DROP on Yuta! Darby takes that chair for his own, drags Pac back up, SCORPION DEATH DROP! Then Darby puts the chair around Pac’s leg! Darby is getting payback in the worst way! Darby goes up, and COFFION DROP on the chair!! Pac flails in agony but Darby gets his legs again! SCORPION DEATHLOCK!! The ref is awake, he sees Pac TAP!! Darby wins!!

Keith whips, Hangman reverses, scoop and- NO, Keith fights free to trip Hangman! Hangman BOOTS Keith away, then avoids a boot to BOOT Keith down! The fans fire up, Hangman brings Keith around, and Hangman bumps Keith off buckles. Hangman ROCKS Keith again and again, but the ref counts 4.
The fans rally for Hangman but the ref has him back off. Keith rises up, Hangman storms back up, and Hangman puts Keith on the apron. Hangman goes up, but Keith avoids the triangle jump lariat! Keith ROCKS Hangman, TOSSES him out, then paces around. Keith argues with the ref again, and that lets Bill stomps Hangman! The Redwood soaks up heat, then Keith goes out to fetch Hangman. Keith puts Hangman in the ring, then looms over him. Keith sits Hangman up to CHOP him! Hangman huffs ‘n’ puffs but he eggs Keith on. Keith CHOPS, Hangman stands up, and Keith CHOOPS again! Hangman eggs Keith on again so Keith CHOPS, CHOPS, and CHPOS! Hangman CHOPS in return! Maximum Carnage returns as Keith KNEES Hangman low! Keith clinches but Hangman fires elbows! Keith shoves Hangman into the corner, runs up, but Hangman dodges! Keith hits buckles, but he BOOTS Hangman first! Hangman just walks that off and snarls again. Keith wants Hangman to cool off, but Hangman runs up, into a drop toehold!
Hangman hits buckles, then Keith KNEES Hangman! Clinch and EXPLODER! Cover, TWO! Hangman is tougher than that and the fans rally up. Keith shakes his head, hears the fans rallying for Hangman, and he storms back up on Hangman. Keith whips, Hangman reverses, and Hangman runs up. Keith ELBOWS him away, but runs into the scoop! FALL AWAY SLAM! The fans fire up and Hangman kips up! The fans cheer again as Hangman DECKS Keith! And DECKS him again! Then whip and- NO, Keith sunset flips, but Hangman rolls through! TWO, Hangman swings again, but into an OVERHEAD BELLY2BELLY into buckles! Cover, TWO! Hangman survives, Keith is frustrated, but the fans rally up again. Keith snarls and he reels Hangman in. No bounty for the Bounty Hunter, because who knew The Realest was watching The Cowboy’s back! The fans cheer, “Whose House?” “SWERVE’S HOUSE!” while Hangman grabs a mic. Hangman tells Keith, “You go and try to collect your bounty now, dumbass.” The fans cheer that! “Samoa Joe! Samoa Joe! Not man enough to fight me himself! So he hires Bryan Keith. Samoa Joe, I am going to take everything from you.” The fans cheer, and the mic is handed to Swerve. Swerve says, “And I got a message for you, MJF. If you just so happen to come out victorious and you keep that championship around your waist, what really means is you actually lost.
“Because I… No, we will be coming after you relentlessly.” The fans cheer as Swerve and Hangman are standing side-by-side now. Swerve continues, “And since this is 2026 now, I got a New Year’s Resolution. It’s been awhile since I had the AEW World Championship around my waist, and that’s what this fanbase wants to see, am I right?” The fans do cheer that! Swerve vows they get back on the mountaintop and make this whose house? “SWERVE’S HOUSE!” But wait! KENNY OMEGA joins the conversation! The fans practically erupt as The Cleaner steps out on stage, a mic of his own already in hand, and he gets pyro for his entrance, too!
Omega joins Swerve and Hangman in the ring, the fans cheering him on now. Kenny then says, “I had my own time etched out for what I had to say, but I figured, why not come out now? Why not come out now, when three of the greatest challengers for the AEW Heavyweight Championship belt are standing in the ring right here, right now?!” The fans cheer that! Kenny says that he doesn’t mean to speak for anyone else, but it feels like all three men have something to prove. Kenny knows he has something to prove, not just to himself, but to each and every single one of the fans. When we all called him the “God of Pro-Wrestling,” it MEANT something!
And if the fans still believe, then Kenny still believes. He understands that winning a belt isn’t about being an EVP, snapping his fingers, and making it happen. From what he understands, he’s gotta win some matches first. So whether it be friend (Hangman) or foe (Swerve), Kenny IS going for that belt. Hangman tells Kenny then it looks like there are three men who want that title. And unfortunately, this is not a team effort. So if they cross paths on the way to the championship… Hangman means this sincerely: May the best man win. Hangman and Kenny shake hands, but Swerve isn’t so sure. Another horse has entered the race, but who will reach the goal first?
Swerve and Hangman leave, but Kenny stays behind, only for the Don Callis Family to appear. The fans boo and Kenny frowns, but Don Callis leads the way for Rocky Romero, Josh Alexander, and Lance Archer. The Jackal says, “I have something important to say!” The fans boo more, but Callis says he has always been a big fan of M J F! But he has to question MJF’s logic even thinking of associating with a scumbag like Kenny! But now Kenny’s back, he wants the title, huh? And he’s gotta win some matches! You wanna wrestle, kid? How about you wrestle the man who broke Kota Ibushi’s leg!? The same man who sent Kenny to the hospital!
Callis dares Kenny to face the Walking Weapon, Josh Alexander! Kenny chuckles and tells “Uncle Don” that he could barely hear him over all these people. But what it sounds like is that Callis issued a challenge. Yes, Kenny has to win matches. He doesn’t deserve a belt unless he beats some of the best in AEW. So Josh Alexander? Well… Kenny’s got some time tonight. So if the fans want it, if Tony Khan will have it, and if the family will have it, Kenny would love to make his record nice and shiny for going after the world title. What does Josh say?! Josh wants it NOW, but Callis has them all hold on! The fans boo that.
Callis says he and Kenny have known each other for many years. And he guess it has been awhile, but Kenny forgot how this works. Kenny does what Daddy says! And Daddy decides when matches happen! Kenny gets Josh next week on Dynamite! The fans boo that, but Callis says that what he says goes! The Jackal now leads his family away, but the fans cuss him out for it. Kenny tells the fans, “Well, you heard it here first, folks. Unfortunately, it’s gonna have to be next week. But trust me, today was a very big first step, and you all were witness to phase one of Kenny Omega once again becoming your AEW Heavyweight Champion.
“Now I’d love to stay out here and listen to the sound of my own voice, but I must bid you adieuuu~! Goodbye, MWAH! And goodnight, BANG!” The fans cheer and Kenny takes his leave. Will Omega manage to disarm the Walking Weapon when Dynamite rolls into Orlando, Florida? Or will Josh Alexander and the Don Callis Family do everything they can to stop Kenny’s return to former glory?
Backstage interview with Brody King.
Renee Paquette walks ‘n’ walks with the King of Death, and says that with Bandido in the main event, fighting for THE AEW World Championship, the deal between #Brodido is that Brody gets first shot should Bandido win. But before Renee can ask her question, Jon Cruz finds them. He says Brody is just the man he was looking for. Cruz tells Brody to tell his masked amigo to never punch Cruz in the face, and to never suplex him ever again. Brody says yeah, he’ll be sure to do that. Because now, it’s Brody’s turn. What? They’re the standby match. P-Pardon? Yeah, they’re next. B-But Cruz isn’t dressed to compete, and this button is tricky…
Cruz scurries away and Brody says see you soon, Jon! Brody heads to gorilla, will he use Cruz as an appetizer while we all wait on the main event? Will tonight be a great night for Brodido?

Will FTR soon be facing their greatest rivals once again? Will Bishop Kaun & Toa Liona look to bring even more gold to The Demand? Will Kevin Knight & Mike Bailey look to get another rematch with Cash & Dax? Or will the Don Callis Family’s newest duo do something big in their tag team debut?
Ricochet and Don Callis each join commentary here to support their guys, and Callis complains that The Bucks are literally blowing Callis’ money on that entrance. The moment The Bucks are in the ring, they DIVE onto Davis & Doyle on the outside! The fans fire up, the bell rings, and the brawls are on! JetSpeed DIVE onto GOA! The fans fire up as now JetSpeed and Bucks meet in the ring. But then they each spot the others teams, so JetSpeed DIVE onto Davis & Doyle while The Bucks DOUBLE PLANCHA onto GOA! The fans fire up again, The Bucks and JetSpeed hold the ring, but Ricochet says the fans here are sheep.
JetSpeed and Bucks step up and throw hands! The fans fire up while Nick puts Bailey in one corner and Matt puts Knight in the other. The Bucks whip, JetSpeed reverses, but The Bucks dosido. JetSpeed dodge them on the return, then they dosido, but The Bucks scoop them! DOUBLE SLAM! But JetSpeed avoid elbow drops! But then The Bucks avoid elbow drops! QUADRUPLE DROPKICKS all cancel out but the fans all fire up! Only for Davis & Doyle to CLOBBER everyone! GOA also join in, and Doyle scoop SLAMS Knight! Then GOA step to D&D while the fans chant “MEAT! MEAT! MEAT!” They all egg each other on, but then JetSpeed sets up!
Knight & Bailey MISSILE DROPKICK Doyle & Kaun! Liona CLUBS away on Knight and Davis TOSSES Bailey, but Matt Jackson gets back in! Matt throws hands on Davis, Knight fires hands on Liona, but the bigger men aren’t bothered! Liona SHOVES Knight, but Bailey runs up to fire forearms! Davis SHOVES Matt, but now Nick fires forearms! Liona and Davis both ROAR, but then Matt gives Nick a boost, same as Knight for Bailey! Bailey and Nick rain down fists, then they hit STEREO TORNADO DDTS! The fans fire up for The Bucks and JetSpeed while Ricochet and Callis complain. Matt builds speed and FLIES, but he’s caught by Doyle and Kaun!
JetSpeed DOUBLE PLANCHA, but they’re caught by Davis and Liona! Nick lines it up, he FLIES out onto everyone! The fans fire up as The Bucks stand tall! Matt & Nick coordinate and get Doyle in the ring. The fans rally up, JetSpeed has Davis, and they put the big men in the corners. Nick and Knight climb up, they rain down fists, and the fans count along. Nick and Knight only get to five before Davis & Doyle shove them away. Matt & Bailey hurry to finish where they left off! They each get five but Davis & Doyle shove them away, too. Davis & Doyle run up, but Bucks & JetSpeed get clear, sending the big men into each other! Doyle & Davis just fire up for it!
But then the big men turn around into DOUBLE DOUBLE SUPERKICKS! Matt & Bailey have Doyle, Knight & Nick have Davis! J E T TRIGGERS get caught as Davis & Doyle get up and under! DOUBLE DOUBLE POWERBOMBS!! But now Kaun sneaks in, and he BOOTS Doyle! He dodges Davis, and Lona POUNCES! Kaun LARIATS Doyle and himself up and out of the ring! Liona sees that and hurries to the apron. Liona ASAI MOONSAULTS?! Even Ricochet is shocked and surprised to see that! Liona THROWS Nick into railing, then into the apron! And back again! Kaun does the same to Knight, and Liona CLOBBERS Knight into the crowd!
The fans are torn as the Gates are standing tall, and Dynamite goes picture in picture.
Kaun puts Matt in the ring, he and Linoa regroup, only for Davis & Doyle to YANK them down! Davis THROWS Liona over railing, and Doyle DECKS Kaun! Davis goes after Matt in the corner, fires hands, then whips corner to corner. Matt goes up and over, and Nick returns to SHINING WIZARD! Matt cravats Davis, then gets help from Nick for the SLICED BREAD! SHINING WIZARD again! But then Doyle DOUBLE LARIATS The Bucks! Knight fires off on Doyle, runs the ropes, but Davis gets up! DOUBLE FLAPJACK! Doyle & Davis soak up some heat, then Bailey rolls in. Doyle & Davis are right on Speedball, and they smother him in a corner!
Davis & Doyle make sure to coordinate, then they DOUBLE TOSS Bailey across the ring! Davis goes out to throw Knight back into the ring and stomp him down. Doyle stands on Bailey’s head while taunting him, and Bailey can only watch as Davis TOSSES Knight across the way! Doyle goes after Knight now, and he DECKS Knight with a forearm! Knight flops out of the ring, Doyle CLUBS away on Bailey, and Davis DECKS Matt and Nick! Bailey KICKS Doyle, CHOPS Davis, and repeat! Bailey CHOPS and CHOPS and CHOPS, but Doyle scoops and SLAMS! Davis SENTONS! Davis & Doyle soak up more heat before going back to Bailey.
The ref checks on Bailey but he’s still in this. Maximum Carnage returns to single picture, and Doyle LARIATS Bailey down! Cover, Knight breaks it! The fans fire up but Doyle is on Knight. Knight fires shots, but Doyle KNEES low and whips him to ropes. Knight leaps over, comes back, but Doyle just BODIES the Jet! Bailey jumps onto Doyle for a SLEEPER, but Davis drags him off to GERMAN SUPLEX! Nick ROCKS Davis, ROCKS Doyle, then runs, but into double kicks! D&D double whip, DOUBLE HIP TOSS, but Nick handsprings through! Nick then gives them a meeting of the minds! Davis & Doyle just roar again!
Matt is back, so he and Nick kick low! Nick runs to get the boost, DOUBLE DROPKICK! Doyle is down, Davis staggers, so The Bucks DOUBLE LARIAT Davis up and out! The fans fire up and The Bucks wait on Doyle. Davis gets up so Nick hurries to the apron! PENALTY KICK! Matt then goes out to THROWBACK CUTTER on Davis! Nick springboards to CROSSBODY Doyle! Cover, TWO! The fans rally up, but Liona is up! He HEADBUTTS Nick, ROCKS Matt, and Kaun joins in, intercepting Knight. Kaun stomps Knight, Liona has Matt, Davis has Nick, and Doyle drags Bailey back up. The big men coordinate to quadruple whip!
The Bucks & JetSpeed all stop short of a collision, and then they all dodge! The big men run into each other, and then QUADRUPLE SUPERKICKS hit! Renee is with Knight & Bailey and says that was an unfortunate loss in the Fatal 4 Way Tag, and honestly a rocky start for them in 2026. How will they turn things around? Bailey says yes, it has been rough, but- Swerve steps in and pats them both on the shoulders? Swerve tells them that was just bad luck. Swerve and Bailey were tearing it up all around the world. They haven’t mixed it up here in AEW, but when they do, Swerve says it will be fireworks. And as for Knight, The Jet! When Swerve was world champion, one of the names he brought up to Tony Khan was Kevin Knight. Knight IS the future of this business, so trust him when he says Knight’s time is coming.
Swerve leaves having given his encouragement, and Renee asks how JetSpeed is going to respond to that. Hangman Page also walks in and he tells them that they may have lost this chance to challenge for the world tag titles, but NOT the Trios! Hangman Page told Samoa Joe he would take everything from him! Hangman took Hook from Joe last week, and this Saturday, he looks to take those trios titles from Joe, too! The Scumbag snagged this title at World’s End and promised to make his record-setting first reign look like a coffee break. However, the Most Wanted has been unstoppable as ROH World Champion, and he even won the newest Dynamite Diamond Ring tournament to earn this opportunity. Will Bandido become even more powerful as a DOUBLE World Champion? Or will MJF do anything and everything he can to stay on top?
The introductions are made, “Triple B” is raised, and we see who survives Maximum Carnage!
The bell rings and the fans fire up already as MJF and Bandido stare down. They circle while the fans duel an even 50-50. MJF eggs Bandido on, they tie up, but Bandido rolls MJF up! TWO and MJF backs off fast. Bandido says it was that close, but MJF tells the fans to shut up! The fans boo, but MJF and Bandido go again. MJF headlocks, Bandido powers up and out, but MJF RUNS Bandido over! Then MJF does a rather sad Latino Heat. But Bandido kips up, hurdles, then drops down. MJF just Fargo Struts over that! The fans are torn between booing and wooing, then things speed up. Bandido hurdles, leaps over, then tilt-o-whirl arm-drags!
Bandido keeps moving, and then tilt-o-whirl RANAS! Sweep and cover, WTO! MJF stands but Bandido sweeps and covers again! TWO, MJF jumps over the third, and he calls Bandido a dumbass! But Bandido sweeps the legs again, covers, TWO! Bandido kips up and aims his finger gun right at MJF’s head. The fans cheer, MJF says okay, calm down. Then he CLAWS Bandido’s eyes through the mask! Bandido rolls MJF up, TWO! MJF bypasses Bandido and KICKS the bad arm out in the handspring! Then double underhooks and a SHOULDER BUSTER! MJF WRINGS Bandido into the corner! Cover, TWO! MJF CLAWS Bandido’s eyes, the fans boo again, but MJF soaks up the heat while Dynamite goes picture in picture.
MJF lets the fans boo while he goes back to Bandido. MJF stands on the bad arm, stomps it, then paces around while Bandido writhes. MJF drags Bandido back up, wrenches the arm, and hammerlocks it. MJF then RAMS Bandido into the corner! MJF soaks up more heat while Bandido clutches the shoulder. MJF kicks Bandido around, steps on his neck, but stops as the ref counts. MJF wrenches Bandido again, hammerlocks the arm again, and then RAMS Bandido into buckles again! Bandido slumps down in the corner while MJF flexes and swaggers to soak up the heat. MJF drags Bandido up to hammerlock again, and he whips, but Bandido reverses!
MJF ends up in a corner, Bandido climbs up, and Bandido rains down fists! The ref counts but Bandido goes to nine then winds up. But MJF carries Bandido off the corner! Atomic drop! ARM WRINGER! MJF goes up the corner, “checks his watch,” and just takes his time letting Bandido go to ropes. MJF insults the fans over cheering Bandido, then he brings Bandido back up. Maximum Carnage returns to single picture while the fans insult MJF back. MJF just doubles down as he hits a snap suplex, and brings Bandido up! That was just Uno Amigo, and MJF suplexes again! Dos Amigos! MJF drags Bandido up again, gives some Scumbag Heat, but Bandido blocks the suplex!
The fans fire up but MJF blocks Bandido’s suplex! MJF wrenches the arm, but Bandido ROCKS MJF! MJF SLAPS Bandido back! Bandido fires another forearm, MJF CLUBS the arm! Bandido fires a flurry, but MJF BITES Bandido’s hand! MJF reels Bandido in, but Bandido suplexes first! MJF kicks and flails but Bandido powers through to suplex! Bandido gives a proper Latino Heat before both men fall back down! Phoenix is thunderous as they cheer Bandido, “Si Se Puedes! Si Se Puedes!” Both men slowly go to opposite ends and rise back up. The fans fire up again as Bandido has MJF on the ropes! Deal the hand, but MJF slips away! MJF ELBOWS Bandido away, goes up, and he DOUBLE STOMPS the bad arm! MJF clamps onto the arm but Bandido rolls MJF, TWO! Bandido DUMPS MJF out, builds speed, and FLIES! Direct hit on MJF and Bandido says this is for Mexico! The fans fire up as Bandido then drags MJF up and puts him in the ring. MJF rolls out the side, but Bandido builds speed again! MJF hurries over the barrier?! The fans boo as MJF says he is walking?! Bandido goes up, up, and SUPER DUPER CROSSBODIES! Another direct hit on MJF and the fans are thunderous!
Bandido feels that energy from the fans, and he drags MJF back to ringside. “This is Awesome!” as MJF flounders into the ring. Bandido runs up again, but MJF wrenches to ARM CODE BREAKER! Bandido goes to a corner, MJF runs up, but into a BOOT! Bandido goes up, up, and TORNILLO! Cover, TWO! MJF hurries to his feet but Bandido’s on him! POISON-RANA!! MJF staggers back to his feet, but Bandido SOBATS to then hop on, CODE RED!! Cover, TWO!! MJF survives and the fans can’t believe it! Bandido is just as surprised, but he keeps his cool. The fans rally as both men rise again. MJF is on the ropes! Bandido deals the hand! BLACKJACK- NO, MJF holds on for dear life!

A battle of two world champions, there was never any doubt this would be an instant classic! And perhaps most surprisingly, MJF won this without having to dig into his bag of tricks! MJF grabs a mic, he has them cut his music, and though the fans boo, he says, “Bandido… When they said you were gonna be an AEW World Champion, I laughed. But after wrestling you, it seems very apparent they were right.” The fans cheer this rare compliment from MJF, and he continues by telling Bandido, “As much as it pains me to admit this, you’re gonna be AEW World Champion one day.” The fans cheer that, too!
But MJF says that unfortunately means he has to do this. HE CLOBBERS BANDIDO WITH THE BELT! MJF rains down fists, ruining every bit of good faith he’d just earned! MJF motions for unmasking Bandido and the fans boo more! MJF looms over Bandido, sits him up, but BRODY rushes out here! The fans fire up as MJF runs away like the chicken he is! Brody makes sure Bandido is alright first, helps him sit up, and the fans cheer #Brodido on. Bandido was that close to being AEW World Champion tonight, will he hit the mark next time? Will the King of Death tear down the Devil of AEW first?
My Thoughts:
A great Dynamite to start Maximum Carnage, and it even did a great job setting up more for the coming weeks. Darby Allin VS PAC was a great opener, though mostly standard formula for Darby. I will say, I didn’t think he’d get away with kayfabe breaking Pac’s leg, though. Is Pac being written off TV through this? And if Darby is done with the Death Riders now that he got the win he needed, what’s he gonna do next? The world title is clearly spoken for, Mark Briscoe is TNT Champion and Face, but maybe he’s not done and will want the Continental Championship from Moxley? The International Championship off Okada?
Samoa Joe sending Bryan Keith after Hangman is interesting, but it made for a great match of Hangman VS Keith, then Big Bill and Swerve getting in on it. Solid win for Hangman from this, and a decent promo segment from Swerve, Hangman, and Kenny. Though, other than Hangman being cool with Kenny and Swerve not being cool, that didn’t add much. Don Callis wanting to eliminate Kenny again is rather tired, but Omega VS Alexander will be good, and Omega said it himself, he needs wins. I feel like we’ll eventually get Omega VS Hangman VS Swerve in a Triple Threat to name a contender, maybe a Fatal 4 if Joe wants in on that. Or maybe they’re all in a tournament, TK could do whatever he wants.
Amazing Fatal 4 Way Tag, great innovation from all eight men, and Doyle & Davis definitely meshed as a team rather quickly. I’m rather surprised it’s Doyle & Davis VS FTR, but sometimes Heels VS Heels can be a lot of fun because it boils down to who can cheat harder faster. Plus, Bucks and GOA clearly took each other out along with Jack Perry and Ricochet, we’re definitely getting more of New Elite VS The Demand. Perry VS Bowens will be a solid #1 contender’s match, but it seems redundant if Jack gets another shot at Ricochet for the National title so soon. Maybe Ricochet helps Bowens win because he feels he can beat Bowens easier than he can Jack.
Swerve and Hangman encouraging JetSpeed was nice, but what a surprise that Hangman wants to reunite the Space Cowboys or whatever you want to call them. Word came out during the show that Will Hobbs’ contract was up at midnight, and unless TK dumps a truckload of money out, Hobbs might go to WWE. The trios match (which is being recorded tonight to be aired on Saturday) will be a dead giveaway, though. Ironically, this works even better in story because then Opps will lose the trios titles AND lose Hobbs, making it easier for Hangman to fight it out 1v1 with Samoa Joe as part of the chase for the top title.
Great Six Woman Tag, but as I figured, Triangle of Madness won out. I did NOT think Thekla would pin Kris, so that was a great surprise. Plus, that just spells it out that Thekla is facing Kris for the title, but I feel like Kris should retain the title through it. Same goes for Babes of Wrath overcoming Sisters of Sin. The SkyFlight promo setting up all their stuff for Saturday, you can bet SkyFlight takes all the losses. Don Callis Family is gonna build momentum for Clon’s win streak, for Alexander facing Omega, and Kyle Fletcher wanting after Mark Briscoe for the TNT title in “game seven.” And Zayda is definitely not getting through Marina, are you kidding me? Zayda’s a good talker, but that’s Marina “The Problem” Shafir.
And then great stuff with the AEW World Championship. It seems to be Brody’s thing to be the “standby match guy,” because he can just put people away with ease. It was also two birds, one stone as Jon Cruz could not support MJF in the main event in any capacity. I meant it when I said MJF VS Bandido is an instant classic, a Match of the Year contender and it’s still January. Great details in how MJF didn’t cheat but faced Bandido head on, and in how Bandido did the Stone Cold pass out. MJF of course had to double down the Heel heat, though, and really, MJF VS Brody should be next since we’re on that long road to Revolution. Brodido can fail against MJF and that makes them wonder if they return to the tag division or what, lots of possibilities there.

The fans are already telling off Yuta while Jon Moxley joins commentary. The teams sort out and Scorpio starts against Yuta. The fans taunt Yuta again as he and Scorpio circle. The tow tie up, Yuta wrenches to hammerlock, then he spins Scorpio to a cravat and snapmare. The fans boo as Yuta has the headlock, but Scorpio fights up. Yuta wrenches and wristlocks, but Scorpio rolls, rolls, and rolls to spin and wrangle Yuta to the mat. The fans cheer, but Yuta fights up and ROCKS Scorpio! Yuta whips, but Scorpio ducks a lariat to wrench and backslide, ONE! Yuta Oklahoma Rolls, ONE! Scorpio has it back, TWO!
Scorpio headlocks, Yuta powers up and out, but Scorpio RUNS Yuta over! Cover, ONE, and Yuta sweeps to cover! ONE, Scorpio runs and Darius tags in! Darius goes up while Scorpio wrenches an arm, FLYING AX HANDLE! The fans cheer as Air Wolfe wrenches Yuta, but Yuta ROCKS him, ROCKS him again, then brings him over. Yuta bumps Darius off buckles, tags Garcia in, and the fans boo as these two mug Darius. They wheelbarrow, but Darius fights free! Darius arm-drags Yuta away, but Garcia headlocks. Darius powers up and out, but Garcia RAMS Darius! Darius rolls over the drop down, then hurdles to UPPERCUT!
The fans fire up and Moxley admits, that was good. Darius runs to SPLASH Garcia in a corner, then he goes back in for an UPPERCUT! The fans rally but Garcia YANKS Darius into buckles! Garcia drags Darius up to CHOP! Garcia whips, Darius goes up and over, then Darius arm-drags! The fans rally again, and Darius drags Garcia up to wrench. Tag to Dante, they whip, but Garcia reverses. Garcia jumps, but into an atomic drop and BULLDOG KNEE SMASH! Cover, TWO! Angel Dorado wrenches Garcia, tags Scorpio, and he goes up to AX HANDLE! Scorpio wrenches Garcia, wristlocks, but Garcia endures. Pac BLASTS Top Flight just because!
The fans boo, but Garcia puts Scorpio in the corner. Tag to Pac and Pac BOOTS Scorpio! Pac stomps a mudhole away, digs his boots in, but backs off as the ref counts 4. Pac drags Scorpio up, bumps him off buckles, then tags Yuta. They mug Scorpio now while the fans boo. Yuta says he has ’til 5 and the fans boo more. Tag to Garcia, he stomps away on Scorpio, then stops at 4. Garcia brings Scorpio up, ROCKS him, but Scorpio fires body shots. Garcia CLUBS Scorpio, Scorpio ROCKS Garcia, repeat! Scorpio eggs Garcia on and the forearms start flying! Scorpio CLAWS Garcia’s eyes! The ref reprimands but the fans cheer Garcia getting a taste of his own medicine!
Scorpio whips, Garcia reverses, but Scorpio BOOTS Garcia away. Scorpio rolls to hot tag Dante! The fans fire up as Dante fires forearms! Garcia shoves, blocks a kick, but not the ENZIGIRI! Dante then dodges to springboard and SHOTGUN! Dante kip sup, the fans fire up, and Dante whips corner to corner. Garcia reverses, but Dante slips out, up, around, but Pac stops him! Garcia gets Dante for a SAIDO! Tag to Yuta and the mugging continues! The fans boo, Yuta CHOKES Dante while the ref stops Scorpio & Darius, and Collision goes picture in picture.
Yuta taunts the fans, then he drags Dante up. Dante fires body shots, but Yuta THROWS Dante down by his hair! Tag to Pac, they mug Dante again, then Pac stomps Dante around. Pac drags Dante around just to KICK him! Pac wrenches and whips Dante into the corner hard, and Dante falls from hitting buckles! Pac covers, TWO! Pac keeps Dante back from Darius & Scorpio, then drags him around. Pac bumps Dante off buckles, tags Garcia, and Garcia stomps Dante. Garcia climbs up to rain down fists! Garcia goes to nine, puts up his dukes, but then hops down. No dancing for the fans! Garcia stands Dante up, but Dante fires hands!
Garcia KNEES Dante, KNEES him again, then CHOKES him on the ropes! Garcia high-fives Marina, then drags Dante over to bump him off buckles. Pac tags in and fires off forearm. Pac bumps Dante back off buckles, then he THROWS Dante out! Pac distracts the ref for Yuta & Garcia to mug Dante! The ref has to keep Darius & Scorpio back, and Pac WRECKS Dante with a dropkick! Collision returns to single picture, the fans blame the ref for these shenanigans, but Pac covers Dante, TWO! Moxley says that was precision teamwork. Pac steps on Dante’s leg, taunts SkyFlight, then stomps Dante!
Pac bumps Dante off buckles, tags Yuta, and they mug Dante again. The fans boo but Yuta suplexes Dante to hold him up. Yuta SLAMS Dante down, covers, TWO! Dante toughs it out but Marina protests the count. Yuta clamps on a chinlock but the fans rally up. Dante rises, fires body shots, and JAWBREAKERS! Yuta swings but Dante blocks to fire forearms! The fans fire up for Dante but Yuta KNEES low. Yuta headlocks, but Dante hits a BIG back suplex! Both men crawl, Garcia tags in! He BLASTS SkyFlight! The fans boo, but Garcia picks Dante up. Yuta is up top for the FLYING HART ATTACK! Cover, TWO! Garcia drags Dante to tag Pac!
Pac SOBATS Dante, FRONT KICKS, then SOBATS! Pac runs, but Dante follows! Pac dodges, but Dante DROPKICKS! The fans fire up while Dante and Pac are down! Dante crawls, reaches out, hot tags to Yuta and Darius! The fans fire up as Darius dodges Yuta to BLAST Garcia! Then he BOOTS Yuta, goes up, and leaps over! Handspring, run, and a dodge to sling Yuta for the SPANISH FLY! Then a DIVE onto Garcia! The fans fire up again as Darius BOOTS Yuta, then hits the GET OVER HERE! Darius suplexes but Marina gets on the apron! Darius still hits the FISHERMAN SUPLEX! Bridging cover, but Pac STOMPS it apart!
Zayda gets in Marina’s face! Admirable but maybe a mistake… Pac runs up on Darius but Darius puts him out! Scorpio KNEES Pac down! Then he and Dante build speed to DOUBLE FLY! Down go Pac and Garcia! The fans fire up as Darius has Yuta again, but Marina tries it again! So Zayda gets in Marina’s face again! Marina SPITS at Zayda! Zayda is pissed now! But Yuta waistlocks Darius! But what I am is not done with you yet, Death Riders.” Briscoe says yeah, matter of fact, the Death Riders AND the Don Callis Family, it don’t matter which faction it is! If you wanna conglomerate, it is 2026, just come get it! Cuz he’ll tell ya now, he won’t keep anybody waiting! The Word of the Day is MOMENTUM! The Conglomeration has all the momentum going into 2026!
Their girl, Willow, brought even more gold to the fold with that TBS Championship! The Babes of Wrath at the AEW Women’s Tag Team Champions! Briscoe is TNT Champion, which brings us to tonight! Hechicero, you a bad man, Briscoe knows what you can do, but it don’t matter! They got momentum, baby! Briscoe is coming for ya, Hechi! And Briscoe knows the Don Callis Family is lurking, but it don’t matter, because as the saying goes, when two or more conglomerate in the same place, then you have a full conglomeration! Cassidy says yes, that’s it. So The Conglomeration is about to take over the nation! LET’S GO, TEXAS! RARARARARA!

“I know what everybody is wondering: Where is the great Don Callis right now? Well, he has flown back to Tokyo to celebrate Okada’s monumental victory at WrestleKingdom. And both of them will be watching live tonight! Tonight, when El Clon is yet again victorious on Collision. Tonight, when Hechicero brings that TNT Championship back to the Don Callis Family where it belongs!” And yes, Lance Archer is beating up local enhancement talent just for fun while Alexander drags along another. The Walking Weapon tells JetSpeed they should’ve stayed down where Mark Davis & Jake Doyle left them.
But now, they will learn a lesson, and Alexander has faith in their friends, The Demand, in teaching them that lesson tonight. Archer LAWN DARTS a guy into another, then says, “Everybody dies!” The Don Callis Family destroys everyone in their way, but will they do that to Komander and Mark Briscoe tonight? Or can Conglomeration and Conglomeration adjacent survive the Collision?

The bell rings and the fans already chant, “LUCHA! LUCHA!” Komander and Clon step up, and Clon eggs Komander on. The fans rally for Komander, he runs up, but Clon slips around to waistlock. Komander switches, Clon switches and he SLAMS Komander down! Clon flips Komander over, yanks him up, but Komander arm-drags, only for Clon to reel him in, ghost pin! TWO, Clon rolls Komander but Komander arm-drags, rolls, inverted backslide! TWO and Clon has it now, TWO! Komander has it, TWO! Both men stand and the fans cheer. Komander runs up, tilt-o-whirl arm-drag, and roll into a DRAGON’S LAIR, TWO!
Clon rolls Komander to a high stack, TWO! A roll and Clon has it again, TWO! Clon handsprings to kip up smooth and the fans cheer. The fans rally and duel while Komander catches his breath. Komander and Clon run, Komander drops then hurdles, but into a fireman’s carry! Clon tosses Komander for a HACKY SACK KICK, then a whip to the corner! LARIAT, FOREARM, SOBAT! And repeat! Clon adds a GAMANGIRI, then he TIGER WALL SAULTS! Cover, TWO! The fans rally up and Clon steps on Komander. Clon stalks Komander, ROCKS him with forearms, then stalks him to a corner. Komander shoves Clon but Clon BOOTS him!
Clon whips Komander to ropes, but Komander rolls under, tilt-o-whirls, then RANAS! The fans fire up as Clon tumlbes to ropes! Komander runs up, whips, but Clon reverses! Komander reverses, knuckle locks, and he CHOPS! Komander goes up, ARABIAN PRESS IMPLODER ARM-DRAG! The fans fire up as Clon ends up in a corner. Komander runs up, Clon puts him on the apron, but Komander GAMANGIRIS! And GAMANGIRIS again! The fans fire up as Komander climbs, then TORNILLO RANAS! The fans are thunderous for the innovation we’re seeing from both men! Komander then salutes and builds speed to DIVE!
But Clon catches and TOSSES Komander to the ramp!! The fans are torn, but Collision goes picture in picture.
Clon drags Komander up to suplex, and then SLAMS him on the ramp! The ref checks Komander but he’s still in this. Clon rolls into the ring just to refresh the count. Clon drags Komander, kicks him, then throws him into steel steps! Komander flounders as he clutches his knee, but Clon steps on him. Clon stands on Komander even, but stops as the ref counts. Clon puts Komander in the ring, clamps on a GROUND COBRA TWIST, and he pulls Komander’s leg. He RIPS at the mask! The ref counts, Clon stops at 4, and Clon paces while Collision goes to break.
Collision returns and Clon has Komander on the ropes. Clon winds up to CHOP! Komander is stinging and the fans fire up while Clon stalks him. Clon whips, Komander ducks ‘n’ rolls, then he DROPKICKS a leg! Clon hobbles, but he spins Komander around. Clon ducks a kick but not the SOBAT and DDT! The fans fire up while both men are down! Komander rises while Clon crawls, and Komander runs up to CHOP! The fans fire up as Clon seethes. Clon TOSSES Komander to the corner but Komander BOOTS Clon, then CHOPS, CHOPS, and SUPERKICKS! The fans fire up as Clon goes to a corner. Komander runs in, but Clon ducks under!
Komander goes up, up, flips away and handsprings, perhaps showing off that the knee is alright. The fans fire up, Clon runs in, but Komander dodges to then whip Clon back to the corner. Komander LRIATS, keeps moving, but Clon follows! Clon jumps up, knuckle locks and MONKEY FLIPS! Then he rolls back, but Komander uses that to leap up and POISON-RANA! Cover, TWO!! The fans fire up, “Esta Lucha! <This is Lucha!>” Komander runs, but is caught into a half nelson and leg hook! But Komander fights whatever Clon is trying to then run again. Tilt-o-whirl, and Komander lands out of the slam! Komander goes up the corner, MOONSAULT! Cover, TWO!!
Clon bails out and the fans rally for “LUCHA! LUCHA!” Komander goes to the far side, climbs up the corner, and the fans fire up for his tightrope walk! All 20 feet, but Clon moves! Komander hops down and changes his plans, ESCALARA MOONSAULT! Down goes Clon and the fans are thunderous again! Komander stalks Clon around the way, puts him in the ring, and fans cheer “A E DUB!” for making this match happen. Komander goes up, tightrope walks again, CIELITO- NO, Clon moves! And goes up and over, handsprings, then MATRIX PELE! Clon aims, scoops Komander LUMBAR CHECK! Komander writhes but Clon drags him back up.
Clon torture racks for the PORTAL- DESTROYER!! Komander covers, TWO!! Komander knows that move because Hologram is his amigo, but Clon survives the counter! Komander rises, the fans rally again, “This is Awesome!” Komander shouts out Hologram to then torture rack. Clone slips free, but Komander SOBATS! Komander runs, DEST- NO, Clon pops free, half nelson and leg hook, MADE WITH MALWARE!! Cover, TWO?!?! But Clon just torture racks again! PORTAL BOMB!!! Cover, Clon wins!

An instant classic for these two, but it is the corrupted copy of Hologram that comes out on top! Will Clon to be as unstoppable as the original? Will the same go for The Don Callis Family in 2026?
Mina Shirakawa VS Lady Frost!
The Fighting Gravure Idol tried to save Toni Storm from Marina Shafir, but she got knocked out rather easily. Can Mina redeem herself here tonight? Or will all that heat be cooled off by the Coldest Wrestler You Know?
Wait, a ringside staff member says someone sent these three little bouquets to Mina. Mina is thankful to have them, though she’s not sure who they’re from. And then Frost SUPERKICKS Mina down! The fans boo, is Frost just jealous? The bell rings and Frost kicks the flowers out of the ring to then BOOT Mina to a corner. Frost CHOPS Mina, says she’s ice cold, and then winds up, just to stomp a mudhole! The ref reprimands and the fans rally for Mina, but Frost stands her up. Mina blocks the kick to DRAGON SCREW! Mina drags Frost around, has the leg, and SMASHES the knee again and again!
The fans fire up and Mina steps through, but Frost kicks her away,. Frost runs up, Mina blocks a kick, HOTSHOT and then leg sweep! Mina slingshots for the TORNILLO SPLASH! Cover, TWO! Mina stays fired up and does a gator chomp. Mina runs up, but Frost ELBOWS her away! Frost BOOTS Mina, puts her in the corner, and GAMANGIRIS! Frost then sits Mina down to go corner to corner and back again, SNOWBALL SENTON! The fans fire up while Frost puts Mina in the drop zone, then she climbs up. But Mina KICKS the legs out! Mina then drags Frost from the corner, but Frost elbows free! SUPERKICK!
Frost runs, handsprings, but into the ROLLING ELBOW! Then DREAMSMASHER ELBOW! BLINDSIDE BUZZSAW! URAKEN!! Mina then steps through, FIGURE FOUR! Frost endures, even as Mina thrashes around! Frost CLUBS at the leg, but Mina bridges to put on pressure! Frost TAPS, Mina wins!

Mercedes Mone throws a fit.
The CEO is still a mess from being thrown into and onto cake, and she says Willow Nightingale can smile and laugh and play hero, but heroes don’t build divisions, ICONS do! Over 500 DAYS as TBS Champion, and not because Mone was lucky, but because she was undeniable! She was the greatest! PWI’s number one wrestler of the year, and Sports Illustrated’s number one wrestler. It doesn’t matter what year it is, Mone will always be the greatest. Ever since Mone arrived in AEW, she has been nothing but disrespect! She is so sick and tired of it! Time to show you b*tches a lesson! She is taking a break from AEW to show just why and how SHE elevated this place!

They feel things out, tie up, and Hechi drop toeholds. Hechi traps the leg, traps an arm, but Mark makes it a high stack, TWO! Hechi floats to a headlock and his body blocks Briscoe from the ropes. Briscoe pushes through to the ROPEBREAK, and the ref counts. Hechi lets go of the headlock while the fans duel, but he traps the arm to TWIST it! The fans are torn again but Hechi and Briscoe reset. They tie up, Hechi waistlocks, but Briscoe wrenches out to arm-drag Hechi down.
Hechi headscissors, Briscoe kips free, and the two reset. The two tie up, Hechi wrenches and cranks the arm, then spins Briscoe to snapmare, but Briscoe handsprings through! The fans fire up for that! The two go again, Hechi trips Briscoe and jackknife rolls to then hammerlock and headlock. Briscoe endures, fights around, and the fans rally. Briscoe fights up, but Hechi makes it a BACKBREAKER! The fans duel as Hechi puts Briscoe on ropes. Hechi KNEES then whips Briscoe to ropes, then BACKDROPS! But Briscoe lands on his feet! The fans fire up while Hechi is frustrated. Hechi and Briscoe reset and tie up again.
Hechi trips Briscoe, then runs, but he KICKS Briscoe in the dropdown! Hechi then drags Briscoe up, hammerlocks and clinches for a swing into the EL CONJURO BACKBREAKER! Hechi stalks Briscoe to a corner, then CHOPS! And JABS! And JABS! Hechi whips corner to corner but Briscoe goes up and over. Briscoe ROCKS Hechi, UPPERCUTS him, then HOTSHOTS him out of the ring! The fans fire up again, Briscoe high-fives fans, and Briscoe returns to the ring. The fans cheer on “A E DUB!” while Briscoe claps with the chair. Briscoe sets the chair up, builds speed, but Hechi swats the chair away! The fans boo, but Briscoe WRECKS Hechi with a dropkick! Briscoe says BANG BANG and he FOLEY ELBOW DROPS, but into an ARMBAR!! Hechi takes advantage of Briscoe’s own move to torture that arm! The fans are torn, the ref reprimands, but Hechi stops at 4. Hechi then POSTS Briscoe shoulder first! The fans duel, but Hechi chicken wings Briscoe to POST him again! Briscoe writhes while Collision goes picture in picture.
Hechi brings the chair out of the ring, then aims at Briscoe! Hechi JAMS Briscoe up! The ref reprimands but he lets this match continue? Hechi puts Briscoe in the corner to HOTSHOT the bad arm! Hechi ROCKS and HEADBUTTS Briscoe, then climbs up to rain down fists! Hechi goes to nine, then winds up for an ELBOW as the tenth! Briscoe staggers away and flops into the corner. Hechi signals he will be champion, btu Briscoe CHOPS! And CHOPS! Hechi blocks one to CALF KICK Briscoe down! Hechi again marvels with his magic, again vows to be champion, then goes back to Briscoe to stand on Briscoe’s face!

The ref counts, the fans duel, but Briscoe fires elbows. Briscoe runs, Hechi follows, sunset flip! Then a roll to the ARMBAR!! Briscoe endures, fights, ROPEBREAK by a fingertip! Hechi lets go in frustration but the fans continue to duel. Hechi CLUBS the bad arm, then he eggs Briscoe on. Briscoe CHOPS but that was from the bad hand! But for someone like Eddie here, he walks the way he wants, he talks the way he wants, and he breaks every single rule that there is, yet he keeps on being rewarded.
Eddie says it’s because he wins matches. Gibson says yes, Eddie and Ortiz are great wrestlers, but the way they go about business makes Gibson sick! Drake says next week, lads, they make an example out of you. They will end the way Eddie conducts business. The worst part about this is, Eddie’s dragging Ortiz down with him, as he always does! These are the women that you love?” The fans cheer that! “Well, that makes me sick! Now listen, that fake friendship of yours does nothing for me.
“And I’m lucky. I don’t need friends, cuz I have my sisters. And at Maximum Carnage, you, one after another, are going to learn what it means to get TOXIC!” Kris says we can all stand on things and look cool, Thekla. Kris even climbs onto the corner to make her point. But trust her, she gets it: Thekla has the sisters. But next week, they’ll all call her #BigStatDaddy! The battlelines have been drawn, but will these golden Babes stand tall in Phoenix? Or will the Triangle of Madness catch them all in their web?

It is a great day to-” Kyle Fletcher steps in, and he knows WrestleKingdom 20 was a big night for The DCF, but with that out of the way, they need to talk. Someone needs to say something to Okada. Callis isn’t following. What? Did Callis not see at World’s End?
Okada not only stabbed Takeshita in the head with a screwdriver, it was KYLE’S screwdriver! The one Kyle had in case Kyle needed it against Moxley! Okada screwed them both! Callis wants Kyle to pause for a second. If he looks at this through the light of day, Kyle will see what Callis sees, which is the only one who got screwed at World’s End was Okada! Okada walked in there with the Continental Championship, and walked out without it! Kyle, on the other hand, Callis didn’t want him in the Continental Classic! He wanted Kyle focused on the TNT Championship! Kyle lost said title, so he went into the C2 to show what he could do, and he did fantastic.
But in the end, Kyle doesn’t need to worry about Okada or the Continental Championship. They should worry about the TNT Championship. Remember when they said Kyle would be the greatest TNT Champion? Well, Briscoe caught him on one, that makes their record 3-3. It doesn’t take a genius to figure out that game seven is coming, and the family wants Kyle to take the title back to fulfill his destiny. That is what Callis feels is a great use of all this energy. Callis pats Kyle on the shoulder and heads out, but is The Jackal going to stay woefully and willfully ignorant? Or is someone going to force his hand soon enough?

Ricochet and The Demand soak up the heat, then they drag Knight back in. Kaun eggs the fans on, then tags Ricochet. Ricochet takes his time revving up on the apron while Kaun scoops and SLAMS Knight. Ricochet then KNEE-BOARD SENTONS! Ricochet shines his bald head to taunt the fans, then he stomps Knight. Ricochet drags Knight over, stands on Knight’s hair and pulls the arms! The ref counts, Ricochet steps off, and Ricochet stomps Knight. Ricochet drags Knight up to put him in a corner. Knight fights but Liona tags in. The Demand mugs Knight, then scoops to SLAM him! Liona argues the count with the ref, but Bowens rallies the fans. Liona drags Knight up, wrenches him, but Knight fires body shots. Liona YANKS Knight down, then tags Kaun. Bowens victory rolls thorugh, TWO!
Both men stand, Bowens SUPERKICKS Ricochet! Bowens brings Ricochet up, winds up, but the ref is used as a shield! Ricochet then ducks, O’Conner Roll with tights, TWO! Bowens has it, TWO! Ricochet runs up, FLAPJACK onto ropes! Kaun sneaks the tag, MOLLYWHOP on Ricochet!! But Ricochet isn’t legal! Kaun runs up on Bowens, LARIAT!! Then Kaun and Liona get Bowens up, whip, and CLOSE THE GATES!! Cover, The Demand wins!
Winners: The Demand, by pinfall
Ricochet is half-conscious, but Liona helps him stand so they can celebrate. Then The Demand beats up on Bowens for pushing them this far! The fans boo, but MAX CASTER is here! But he says keep going? He’s NOT here to save Bowens? The fans cheer on The Best Wrestler Alive, but JetSpeed gets back up! Caster gets in and he starts helping! Was that all just a distraction then? The former Acclaimed beat up on Kaun, but now the Don Callis family rushes out here! They beat up on JetSpeed, Caster & Bowens, but then wait! The Conglomeration is rushing out here! Komander, Roddy, Briscoe, and Cassidy all fight the DCF!
The fans are thunderous, and now The Conglomeration and friends all stand tall! Will this build into an all out war of 8v8?
My Thoughts:
A great Collision to be one last go-home to Maximum Carnage, but also to set up things for more. Very good Six Man Tag to open, but I think there was a botch on when Marina was supposed to distract and get into it with Zayda. But either way, I figured Death Riders would win. Good stuff with Marina sending Zayda into Megan, too, but with Leila Grey out, I don’t know who Zayda could get as a tag partner against them. Pac VS Darby will be really good, and I would think Darby wins out. Though maybe Zayda asks Toni & Mina for help given the feud building between Mega Problems and Love Bombs. Mina VS Frost was a good match, but not sure why we’re throwing a “secret admirer” into this.
Good filler match for Brody King, and good promo from Bandido later. But as I said on Dynamite, pretty sure MJF wins, even if he has to cheat hardcore to do it. Maybe Brody gets a (non-title) match against MJF to go for revenge but also to try and earn a match. After all, we gotta stretch things to March, so while Hangman, Swerve and Samoa Joe sort out who gets that match, other guys like Brody can get a chance. Great promo from Mercedes Mone to write herself off from AEW for awhile. Not sure what project she might be part of in “Hollywood,” but it’d make sense if she needed time off to do that instead.
Very good promo from Josh Alexander as we get another moment of The Don Callis Family just roughing up randos. But I don’t think Don Callis was really in Japan, because they really screwed up the “live from Tokyo” promo he did. Japan is 14 hours ahead of the US East Coast, so 8PM to 10PM for Collision is 10AM to noon in Japan. Kayfabe is dead because people can’t do math. But all that aside, Kyle confronting Callis about Okada’s behavior is good stuff, and I would definitely love to see a Don Callis Family Civil War. Kyle can join Konosuke on one side, Okada will lead the other with Callis supporting him.
Awesome match from Clon VS Komander, so many times I had to replay things so I could be sure about what I saw. Great win for Clon, I’m sure he’ll build a winstreak comparable to Hologram’s so that when Hologram returns, Clon VS Hologram will be Streak VS Streak. Great promo from The Conglomeration, and great match from Briscoe VS Hechi. Briscoe winning was obviously going to happen, but Callis also talking “game seven” of Kyle VS Briscoe is itself a great TNT Championship idea, maybe for Revolution. Maybe Briscoe keeps battling other members of the DCF before then, like Josh Alexander and Lance Archer.
Then we got two great trios matches as an unofficial double main event. Very good showing for Maya, Hyan and the returning VertVixen, but of course our three women’s champions win. Good promo from Thekla, and not sure if Kris needed to respond, but it was a good response. The Triangle of Madness probably cheats to win and earn their way to title matches, and maybe we get both title matches (Kris VS Thekla for the world title, Babes of Wrath VS Sisters of Sin for the tag titles) on a special edition episode. And great stuff from Bowens & JetSpeed VS The Demand, but I figured The Demand would win.
Their beatdown of Bowens of course brought out Caster, though I do appreciate Caster pretended he was here to cheer The Demand on. We’re just a little bit closer to The Acclaimed truly reuniting, and maybe they pull it off by Revolution so they can challenge FTR for the tag titles. And even then, great ending with like 15 or 16 guys all fighting out there. They could do a massive team match or a team battle royal, just something to get all this faction fighting done in a big way. I still wonder about that Stadium Stampede involving Kenny Omega & The Elite, too.
