The Mixed Match Challenge’s first round is almost over!

“Ladies and Gentlemen: Elias & Bayley.”

Yes, the Drifter has taught the Hugger how to play guitar. They tune up together under the spotlight, but you have to wonder how well Elias feels after The Monster Among Men smashed a bass cello across his back. That aside, Elias and Bayley introduce themselves, but don’t get to perform before Mr. & Mrs. Ravishing Rusev Day appear!

Elias & Bayley VS Rusev & Lana!

The Drifter & The Hugger fight for Americares while Mr. & Mrs. Rusev Day fight for Global Citizen. Which team will bring their charity one step closer to the grand prize?

The fans are rabid for “Rusev Day! Rusev Day!” as the founding father and mother of the beloved holiday enter the ring. The men start, but Rusev wants to take a moment to sing his wife’s praises. “Lana is the best~, Lana Number One!” *clap clap* The fans join in, “Lana is the best~, Lana Number One!” *clap clap* Singing aside, Big E & Carmella are watching and commenting backstage, wanting #PatchyBaldLana.

The bell rings and we finally begin. Rusev decides to switch things up, he fires Lana up before tagging her in. Lana is ready as she and Bayley enter. They circle, tie up, but Bayley gets the headlock and takeover. Rusev coaches Lana and she gets the headscissors, but Bayley pops out to snapmare Lana down. Bayley runs to elbow her in the back then slide forearm from the front, cover, ONE. Lana scrambles to her corner and Rusev asks “What’re you doing?” He tells her to remember her training, but fans are thunderous for Bayley. Lana gets mad and runs right at Bayley, and tackles her down! She rains ravishing rights on Bayley, then a MACHKA Kick! Lana flexes as she shouts “Lana CRUSH!” Bayley runs back in but Lana gets the waistlock. Bayley gets the drop toehold then scoop slams Lana down. Lana scrambles and rolls out of the ring, and grabs Elias’ guitar?! Rusev stops her from throwing away the match. Lana calms down, Elias tells Rusev to get his wife to let go of his guitar. Lana shouts back “I will do it!” Rusev calms her down more and takes the guitar from her. Elias says to put it back, and Rusev drops it!

The Rusevs return to their corner, Elias makes sure his guitar is okay. “Still sounds good.” Lana reenters, but now the men want in. Elias tags in, Rusev comes in, and fans chant for “Rusev Day!” Rusev and Elias circle, tie up, and Rusev powers Elias to a corner. Elias turns it around on him, but the ref calls for the break. The break is tense, but they go again. Rusev scoops but Elias slips out, then backs down because of his bad back. Rusev calls for a test of strength to see how Elias stacks up to it. Bayley has confidence in Elias, Elias kicks Rusev low. Elias stomps on Rusev in a corner, then whips him to ropes for a big back elbow. Cover, ONE, but Elias keeps on Rusev in the corner. Bayley sings “Elias is the Best~, Elias Number one!” *clap clap* Elias snapmares and drops a knee on Rusev, covers, TWO. Rusev gets to a corner, Elias throws hands but the fans are still on Rusev’s side. Rusev reverses the corner to corner whip, then whips Elias again to beat up those bad ribs. Then Rusev throws right hands that rock Elias, and roundhouses that knock Elias down. Lana cheers Rusev on as he runs in for the body check tot he ribs. Rusev hammers away on Elias again, the referee backs him off. Elias boots back, but misses the clothesline, MACHKA Kick from Rusev!

“What day is it?! Rusev Day!” He stomps Elias, but Elias resists the Accolade. Elias slips out and knees low, to go for the Drift Away but get countered into a suplex. Bayley tags in, Lana enters with her, and Lana pounces! MACHKA Facebuster! TWO, and Lana is furious. She goes after Bayley at the ropes to choke and thrash her. Lana kicks Bayley while she’s down, then says “Lana is the best!” She runs across the way for a rope attack knee, cover, TWO! Rusev coaches Lana on, Lana throws Bayley into the mat face first. Lana puts Bayley in a chicken wing chinbar, bending and stretching Bayley back. The fans duel, but Bayley feeds off her fans’ energy to pick Lana up and bump her off buckles. Lana lets go, Bayley gets away, then clotheslines Lana in a rally. She throws fast hands on Lana, Lana gets away to the apron, but gets the second rope hotshot. Bayley keeps going with the corner shoulder tackle, then the wacky, waving, guitar playing back elbow.

Exploder on Lana!

Cover, ONE!! Bayley keeps on Lana in a corner with forearms, then hoists her up top. She climbs up to join Lana, Elias intercepts Rusev! But Lana sips out and trips Bayley up!

Cover, Lana & Rusev win!! Somehow, someway, Lana won!!

It’s a Rusev Day Miracle that Lana gets her first pinfall victory in the WWE! Can they keep the Rusev Day magic going in the second round?

In-ring interview with Rusv & Lana.

A huge surprise for us all, but Rusev knew it all along: Lana is the Best, Lana Number One! Lana is so emotional she speaks in her native Russian. Today is the first of many Ravishing Rusev Days!
