But does Truth even know how to golf? He’s been golfing. It’s one of his many past times. He and Philly- Oh, Truth calls Phil Mickelson “Philly”. But Carmella thinks he means Uncle Phil from Fresh Prince. Well, he’s like an uncle. But anyway, Truth learned that golf can help clear your mind and relax. All this running, Truth needs time to breathe. Carmella takes in a deep breath, but it makes her cough. Well it is hot out. Anyway, time to see Truth’s golf game.

But then Jinder Mahal attacks! And a ref is here! Cover, Mahal wins!!

Winner: Jinder Mahal, by pinfall; NEW WWE 24/7 Champion

The Modern Day Maharaja becomes only the fifth-ever 24/7 Champion! He snatches the belt from the golf cart and the ref raises his hand, all while Carmella protests. Even a 24/7 stipulation should have its limits! But 24/7 is 24/7! But in all this arguing, Truth rolls Mahal up!! Truth wins!!

Winner: R-Truth, by pinfall; NEW WWE 24/7 Champion

This is historic! R-Truth is now the three-time 24/7 Champion! Truth gives Mahal a big haymaker to keep him down, then hurries to the golf cart. He doesn’t quite get on, and ends up mostly dragged to safety by Carmella’s driving. Mahal’s reign was short and Truth’s reign begins again, who will get that belt to Raw tomorrow night?!

My Thoughts:

I am so glad we’re getting goofy stuff like this. The biggest part of the old Hardcore Championship was “on location” matches like this, going to just about anywhere you can think of for things just like this. R-Truth is racking up the championship reigns, he’s already the greatest 24/7 Champion of all time and could be the greatest for years to come. I do hope the next one of these lasts a bit longer, like three to five minutes, though. While the WWE is only using this title for laughs and to give midcard to lower card guys something to do, it’ll be even more fun if they actually give us more to chew on. Therefore, I’ll do as many of these articles as WWE does “exclusives.” Maybe.
