Chris Jericho heads to the ring!

Le Champion’s letting his hair down as Fort Myers sings Judas for him. The Demo God didn’t win at Revolution against The Mad King, and he didn’t show Eddie Kingston the respect he promised, either! Jericho gets the mic, and he asks, “Are you ready for Dynamite? Last Sunday at Revolution was literally one of the greatest nights of my professional career. And even though my neck is still stiff and sore, and even though I lost to Eddie Kingston by tapping out to the Stretch Plum, it was still one of the best matches I have ever had in my career, and maybe one of the best matches I’ve ever had in AEW period.”

Jericho thanks Kingston for that. Kingston awakened something in Jericho he didn’t think was still there. Jericho says that he wasn’t sure this still existed in him. “But when it came down to it, after he won the big one and beat Chris Jericho, I didn’t live up to my word, and my word is everything. I refused to shake his hand.” The fans booing is just the same as Jericho’s reaction. Fans chant, “Shake His Hand!” and Jericho says he wants to. He was frustrated and angry so he needs to make it up to Kingston. Kingston won, he deserves Jericho’s respect so Jericho wants to pay his debt. If Kingston is back there, Jericho wants to apologize face to face.

Kingston makes his way out, fans chant for him, and Kingston gets in the mic. Kingston has the music cut, and he tells the fans that they’re gonna get real deep here. “The Friday night before the show, before the PPV, before the biggest match of my career, I didn’t want to show up. I wanted to go out and drink, I wanted to forget about my problems, I wanted the poison that has eaten me for years to do it again.” Jericho got in Kingston’s head about if he could win. He’s lost to Moxley, to Bryan, to Punk, to Miro, to everyone he’s faced in big matches. Kingston was afraid. But at Fan Fest, and please show some respect, Fort Myers. Austin ain’t here, don’t do that.

But seriously, anyway, Kingston isn’t kissing anyone’s asses, but when he had four separate people tell him they didn’t end their lives because they read his article, did you really think Kingston was gonna miss that PPV? Do you understand? After the match, Kingston went to his hotel room, you can laugh at him and he’ll beat you up about this, but he cried in his room. That’s because Kingston wanted to make those people proud. Not Jericho, not himself, those people. Fans cheer for that one! All Kingston can say is, as emotional as he’s getting, for those fans who were there, Kingston hopes he did you proud.

But now to the other issue. That handshake wasn’t for Kingston. He didn’t need the handshake, he needed the win. That handshake was for Jericho. What is Jericho missing inside that made him not want to do that? Kingston doesn’t see that as his problem, that looks like a Jericho problem. Kingston went in there, showed Jericho respect by dragging out the man who Kingston looked up to. The one in Japan, the J Cup, who faced the great Eddie Guerrero, the great Dean Malenko, the man Kingston respect. Lionheart Jericho! And y’know what? No matter what anyone says in the back, on Twitter, Jericho proved Kingston wrong because he is still number one.

BUT! Is that enough to fill that hole to make Jericho wanna shake Kingston’s hand or show Kingston respect? That’s the question Jericho has to answer now. Jericho says that everything Kingston just said is right. He has been obsessing about this the last two nights, so Jericho asks Kingston to hear him out. Jericho respects Kingston, he has his undying respect, and thanks him for giving him one of the best matches of his career, and Jericho would be honored if Kingston forgot about all that other stuff and shakes his hand. Jericho holds it out, Kingston takes it, and the two shake hands.

But wait, 2point0 and Daniel Garcia storm out o ruin the moment! And they rush the ring! They go after these two like they did a few months ago! They knock Jericho down easy because of the bad neck, then they mug Kingston 3v1! But here come Santana & Ortiz! Ortiz even has Floyd the Baseball Bat! Santana TACKLES Garcia and Ortiz runs off Jeff Parker & Matt Lee using Floyd! Santana stomps Garcia around, brings him up for 2point0 to see! Jericho gets Floyd from Ortiz, swings at 2point0, then HITS SANTANA?!?! And then ORTIZ!??! And now 2point0 & Garcia are working with Jericho?!?! What is this?!?

Jericho keeps hitting Ortiz, here comes JAKE HAGER! Big Hurt doesn’t understand what this is about! What happened to the Inner Circle?! Hager… CLOBBERS Ortiz?!?! Hager follows Le Champion and rains down forearms on Santana & Ortiz! Ortiz gets a DOUBLE IMPALER DDT from 2point0! Garcia puts Santana in a SHARPSHOOTER! Fans boo and jeer but 2point0 drags Kingston up while Proud ‘n’ Powerful are moved aside. Jericho SLAPS Kingston, then JAMS him with Floyd! But this still isn’t the end! Hager throws off his Inner Circle vest, 2point0 bring the timekeeper’s table over, and Hager hauls Kingston up!

Jericho helps Hager POWERBOMB Kingston through the table!! Jericho throws off the Inner Circle vest as well, and those are placed over Santana and Ortiz. “This is the Jericho Appreciation Society! And that… That’s entertainment.” The Inner Circle has been replaced, have they left Kingston, Santana and Ortiz for dead?

AEW shares CM Punk’s post match comments from Revolution.

“If there’s anybody in the locker room thinking they want the old CM Punk back, think twice.” Punk brutalized and was brutalized in the Dog Collar Match with MJF, but he didn’t quit. Punk needs to detox from all the ghosts and skeletons because he had to go to a place he didn’t want to and become a guy he doesn’t want to be. Punk will be picking the tacks out of his own skin, and will be picking the dry blood out of his ears for weeks. “That CM Punk is dead. Long live CM Punk.” Now that the Best in the World has gotten past the Salt of the Earth, what will he look for next?

AEW World Championship: Hangman Page VS Dante Martin!

Don’t worry, you’re not seeing things. The Cowboy only just defended this title at Revolution against Adam Cole and came away the winner, but he is a FIGHTING champion! Angel Dorado is the #2 ranked singles competitor and is getting his shot! Will Dante be flying higher than ever? Or will Cowboy Sh*t never stop?

The introductions are made, the belt is raised, and we see if “Dorado” becomes literal for Dante!

Dante and Hangman circle, they shake hands to show there is respect, and then tie up. Dante waistlocks, Hangman wrenches to a wristlock but Dante rolls and handsprings to flip and get free! Fans cheer as the two reset and circle again. They approach, Hangman gets around to waistlock now, but Dante uses ropes to buck that. They speed up, Dante rolls but Hangman springs up to tie up. Hangman headlocks, Dante powers out but Hangman runs him over. Hangman grabs a leg but Dante enziguris from below! Dante runs, whips, but Hangman runs him over again. Things speed up again, Dante hurdles and rolls back to headscissor!

Hangman’s up but Dante dropkicks him to a corner! Fans fire up and Dante goes after Hangman with a CHOP! Hangman just smirks. Dante eggs Hangman on and Hangman steps forward, into CHOP after CHOP after CHOP! Dante whips, Hangman reverses but Dante ducks and springboards, CROSSBODY! Cover, but Hangman rolls and rolls and gets up! Fans cheer the showing of power, and Hangman hits a FALL AWAY SLAM! Hangman kips up while Dante bails out to the apron. TRIANGLE JUMP LARIAT! Dante goes down and Dynamite goes picture in picture!

Dante gets up, Hangman PLANCHAS him right back down! Fans fire up and get high-fives from the champ, and Hangman catches his breath. The ring count is climbing, but Hangman puts Dante in at 5 of 10. Hangman gets in but Dante throws body shots. Hangman CHOPS Dante off his feet! Hangman stands Dante up, to CHOP him into a corner, and then CHOP him again! And again! Dante turns it around to CHOP and CHOP and CHOP! Dante runs, but Hangman follows to corner clothesline! And short arm LARIAT! Cover, TWO! Hangman keeps cool while fans fire up. Hangman brings Dante up and RAMS him into a corner.

Hangman RAMS his shoulder in again, digs his shoulder in, then hoists Dante up top. Hangman CHOPS Dante, climbs up to join him, but Dante throws forearms in return! Hangman hops down, Dante adjusts and leaps over. Dante dodges and jumps, but into a DEATH VALLEY DRIVER! Cover, TWO! Dante survives but Hangman keeps his cool. Dynamite returns to single picture and Hangman brings Dante up. Hangman whips Dante to a corner, runs in but Dante goes up and over! Dante runs back in but is put on the apron. ENZIGURI! Dante then climbs, leaps, BIG missile dropkick! Cover, TWO!

Dante is a little surprised but fans rally up. Hangman and Dante stand up, Hangman swings but Dante ducks to hit back! Dante ROCKS Hangman with a forearm, but Hangman blocks the whip! Hangman whips but Dante stops at the ropes. Hangman runs in but Dante jumps up an dover! Hangman ends up on the apron, Dante ROUNDHOUSES him down! Dante goes up and takes a page outta Hangman’s book, ARIHARA MOONSAULT! Direct hit and Dante lands on his feet! Fans are fired up for “A E DUB!” as Dante gets Hangman up. Dante puts Hangman in, goes back to the corner and climbs again!

Fans fire up as Dante aims, BIG MISSILE- POWERBOMB!! Hangman turns dropkick into a bomb, and covers, TWO!! Dante survives disaster but Hangman fires up! Fans rally as Hangman throws off the elbow pads. Fans rally for “COWBOY SH*T!” as Hangman walks to ropes. Dante grabs Hangman’s foot to anchor him, so Hangman kicks him away. Hangman goes to the apron but has to jump up as Dante baseball slides! Hangman ASAI MOONSAULTS, but has to land on his feet as Dante moves! Dante runs in, pop-up but he ranas! Hangman hits ropes, rebounds, but Dante dodges! Dante gets in, returns, and jumps up!

But Hangman shoves him off the top rope! Dante backflips to land on his feet! Hangman slingshots, BUCKSHOT!! Cover, Hangman wins!

Winner: Hangman Page, by pinfall (still AEW World Champion)

Angel Dorado flew high but the Cowboy hits hard! Hangman holds on against the top two contenders in the same week, who is next on the list?

Tony Schiavone joins Hangman in the ring to commend him on the win here and at Revolution. Schiavone gives Hangman the mic and he says, “Dante, hey. Get your ass back in here real quick.” Dante was about to leave but he decides to go back. Hangman tells Dante, “Look, last year, you got put in a tough position. Your brother got hurt, you had to do the unthinkable: enter singles competition, my friend. And you managed to make it all the way to the AEW World Championship. So I know Darius is back, and I know you guys will be going for the tag titles, but let me tell you. You are one of the hardest hitting, one of the fastest guys I’ve ever wrestled in my life.

“And I wanna tell you, should you make it back here, I’d be glad to do it again.” They shake hands and fans cheer the ringing endorsement. But then Adam Cole speaks up, “Oh for the love of God, would you shut your damn mouth?” Cole storms out and says, “Look at you, Hangman! Look at you! You’re on top of the world, right? You’re untouchable. Well, Sunday at Revolution, I proved that you’re not untouchable. Because at Revolution, we went to war. I took you to your absolute limit and you gave me everything that you had. So congratulations, Hangman, you got a fluke victory against Adam Cole.”

A fluke? Cole says anybody can get lucky once. Next time, Hangman will not get lucky again. Oh is that right? Yeah, it is! And let’s put that to the test! Okay, right now then! Cole says next week on Dynamite, Cole wants a Six Man Tag match where Hangman can “pick any two goons” he wants. Because as far as Cole’s partners, he has two very specific young men in mind. Two guys who know Hangman better than he knows himself. And they’re one of the best tag teams in the entire world, who are COLE’s friends, NOT Hangman’s! Cole is going to give Hangman a week to process this, but Cole promises to make Hangman’s life an absolute living hell!

Cole says Hangman’s days as AEW World Champion are numbered! Cole will not stop until he get what he wants! He will not stop until he gets what he deserves! He will not stop until he hears the words, “And NEW…! AEW World Champion! Adam Cole, BAYBAY!” The Panama City Playboy may be a sore loser, but will he turn it around into being a sore winner?

Jon Moxley & Bryan Danielson w/ William Regal VS The Workhorsemen!

The Maniac and the American Dragon went tooth ‘n’ nail, shed blood, sweat and tears in their 1v1 match, and even after a decision, they kept wanting to fight! William Regal sorted them out, and now they’re following through on being a team! But will they be able to survive their first test? Or will JD Drake & Anthony Henry capitalize on some dysfunction?

The teams sort out, at least on one end. Bryan rushes and dropkicks Henry down while Moxley goes after JD! Moxley bumps JD off buckles, stomps a mudhole in, then lets off to dig his forearms in. Moxley whips corner to corner and forearm smashes JD! Moxley runs and rams shoulders, but JD stays up! JD spins but Mox ducks the backhand to SAIDO! Tag to Bryan and Bryan KICKS JD! And KICKS! And KICKS! And KICKS, KICKS, KICKS! Then… BUZZSAW! JD flops over and Bryan drags JD up. JD powers Bryan to the corner and Henry tags in. JD CHOPS Bryan, Henry CHOPS, then throws EuroUppers and KICKS!

Bryan stares Henry down! Henry throws more forearms and kicks then whips. Bryan reverses and kitchen sink knees! Then PENALTY KICK! Tag to Moxley, he drags Henry up to put him in the corner. Moxley forearms and stomps on repeat, then digs his boots in! The ref counts, Moxley hops down at 4 to tag in Bryan. Bryan drags Henry up to CHOP! And KICK! And CHOP! And KICK! Bryan snapmares Henry to then get the legs. Bryan stands on the legs, Henry tries to resist but Bryan still gets his arms. ROMERO SPECIAL! Tag to Moxley, and he BITES Henry’s forehead, before he CHOPS him down!

Moxley drags Henry up for an X-PLEX! Cover, ONE!! Henry gets away but Moxley runs in, but into an elbow. Henry BOOTS while skinning the cat, to then missile dropkick! Fans fire up, Henry gets over and tags in JD! JD CHOPS Moxley, but Moxley just stares him down. JD CHOPS and SLAPS, so Moxley SLAPS back! JD kicks low, whips, but Moxley LARIATS him down! Then Moxley DECKS Henry, tags in Bryan, and then DIVES out onto Henry! Bryan dodges JD to come back, BUSAIKU KNEE! PARADIGM SHIFT for Henry to the floor! DANIELSON STOMPS for JD!! And then LEBELLE LOCK!! JD taps, Bryan & Moxley win!

Winners: Jon Moxley & Bryan Danielson, by submission

William Regal is proud of his students as they come together and win! Regal and Schiavone join Bryan & Moxley in the ring, and Schiavone says that it was no doubt, we got a shocker at Revolution. Regal is in AEW! He has brought Moxley and Bryan together. Schiavone is glad to see “your lordship” again and fans are cheering him on. Regal says, “Mr. Schiavone, I thought we’d never do this again. It’s been 29 years since I first came to America and we were on TBS together. Can you believe that? 29 years. Time has flown by. My time is flying by, I’m 53 now. And let’s face facts, I’ve lived more than a hard life.

“I made it that way, through battles in the ring, through battles with myself. And it won’t be that long. Let’s face facts. Probably in the next, I don’t now, ’til I’m 65, 12 years ’til the wife’s pushing me to the sunny window so I can look out while a bit of toast is dribbling out of my mouth. Because I know that I’m not long for this world. Too many empty bottles, thousands of them, and a few broken hearts, sweetheart.” And Schiavone still hasn’t found a decent tailor in all that time. Let’s not go there.

Now Regal is here to obviously be with these incredible gentlemen here. But this is the first time Regal actually gets to thank Schiavone on camera, because 29 years ago, when Regal first came to America, and not to get too into the story, but Schiavone helped Regal in more ways than he can imagine. Schiavone was one of the first, so Regal thanks him. Now no more niceties. As Regal said, time is ticking. Obviously, he is no longer in his old job. For two months, he sat at home and completely checked out of the industry he had been in for 39 years this year. And then someone told him that his friend, Bryan Danielson, had mentioned him on AEW Dynamite.

That piqued Regal’s interest. He had to watch. Then he found out that his great friend of 21 years, Bryan Danielson, was going to fight Jon Moxley. Some, probably a lot of fans, given the timeframe of 29 years since he first came here, they know this. The only reason they know Regal was because of Bryan. Every time someone mentioned Bryan, whether it be ROH or anywhere else, Regal’s name was also mentioned. So it made a young group of wrestlers realize that as much of a rogue Regal is, what he will do is when someone wants to work hard, he makes them a better pro-wrestler!

The first thing Regal will do is what he did for Bryan: Regal will sit him down and tell him what not to do, and that will save them ten YEARS of their career. This is THE wrestler Regal should’ve been. Bryan is the PERFECT pro-wrestler. And there was a time where they spent time training with a group, they’d leave, and then Bryan would stay with Regal. That’d be 3 or 4 PM, then all the way to midnight, every night for five months, and learn. Then however many years, Regal would send Bryan here or there or mention him, doesn’t matter. Bryan became everything Regal couldn’t be because Bryan doesn’t have the problems Regal had.

And then we go to Moxley. 11 years ago, they met. And for a whole year, the psychological and physical problems that they put on themselves would make even the devil cry. So when Regal knew that these two were “going to knock the stuffing out of each other on Sunday,” Regal knew it was his time to come along. Regal knew that because they’re men, and they did it the right way in the ring, Regal thought he’d seen enough and came out. “What better could this younger generation have than the perfect combination: the perfect wrestler, and the perfect and utter sadistic person that will take things to a completely other level?”

Regal says that is why this team is together. Just a warning to the rest of AEW: “You will not like the outcome. And you either will step up, or you will get stepped on.” What will happen to the AEW Tag Division, and all of AEW, now that this perfect pairing is here?

Backstage interview with The Dark Order.

Alex Marvez is with pretty much everyone in the group as he asks them that after what we saw at Revolution, what is their relationship with Hangman Adam Page? Well he walks over to answer that for them. Sunday, Hangman apologizes. His temper got the best of him, he shouldn’t have gotten mad at them for helping out, so he’s sorry. Evil Uno says it’s cool. But then who will Hangman pick to take on Cole’s team? Silver thinks they should switch it up and use Alan Angels and Anna Jay. If not, Silver & Reynolds are always good, maybe Colt Cabana.

Oh, uh… Hangman just saw Jurassic Express in the hall. They want to get their hands back on the Young Bucks so Hangman just kinda said it was cool. Oh, that’s fine. Hangman can do his thing. Silver’s gotta work on his beard, Reynolds has a yoga class, it’s all good. Well alright, they can catch up after Hangman gets changed. So then, will the all championship team of Hangman, Jungle Boy & Luchasaurus crush the Super Kliq? That is, if Jurassic Express is still golden after tonight.

PAC w/ Death Triangle VS Wheeler Yuta w/ Best Friends!

This match was on standby just in case, so here it is! The Bastard and his team were on the losing end against the House of Black, but the Best Friends didn’t have that much better of a Sunday. Will Pac use Yuta as his redemption? Or will the Decoder have Pac all figured out?

The bell rings, they tie up and Pac puts Yuta on ropes. The ref counts, Pac lets off but then wrenches and YANKS the arm. And YANKS! And wrenches, but Yuta rolls and handsprings to arm-drag! Yuta dropkicks Pac down then covers, ONE! Fans fire up as Dynamite goes picture in picture.

Pac headbutts Yuta in the stomach, then headlocks and SLAMS Yuta into the mat! Yuta checks his face but Pac brings him up. Pac whips Yuta hard into the corner and Yuta bounces off buckles. Pac stomps Yuta, KICKS him, then stomps him more. Pac stands on Yuta at the ropes but lets off as the ref counts. Pac paces, drags Yuta up and whips him out of the ring. Pac goes out, stares Cassidy down, but Penta walks over. Pac gets Yuta up and whips him hard into railing! Pac then gets Yuta up and snap suplexes him to the floor! Pac gets in the ring to let the count take care of Yuta, but Yuta gets in soon after.

Pac stomps Yuta and taunts him. Yuta hits back, Pac eggs him on so Yuta hits Pac again> Pac KNEES Yuta down! Pac stands on Yuta’s neck and taunts the Best Friends, but he lets off as the ref counts to 4. Pac paces, he stares Cassidy down, then sees Yuta getting up. Pac scuffs Yuta, sits him up while staring at Cassidy, then scuffs Yuta again. Pac eggs Yuta on, Yuta gets up and Dynamite returns to single picture. Pac continues to taunt Yuta so Yuta CHOPS him! And fires off forearms! Pac whips Yuta out, but Yuta rewinds and waistlocks to GERMAN SUPLEX! Fans fire up while both men are down!

Pac gets up, but Yuta atomic drops then ENZIGURIS! Yuta whips, Pac reverses but Yuta BOOTS from the corner! Yuta goes up, fakes Pac out, then CROSSBODIES! Cover, TWO!! Yuta almost had Pac but he fires up with the fans! Yuta drags Pac up, but Pac SOBATS! Pac waistlocks to deadlift GERMAN SUPLEX! Bridging cover, TWO! Pac argues with the ref but the ref defends that was two. Pac drags Yuta up, puts him up top, then climbs up to join him. Pac brings Yuta up for a SUPERPLEX BRAINBUSTER!! And then the BRUTALIZER! Yuta taps, Pac wins!

Winner: PAC, by submission

Pac lets off and the Best Friends check on Yuta. Will the Bastard look to be even more brutal after what the House of Black did to him?

The Cutler Cam is live.

Adam Cole stands with reDRagon and the Young Bucks, and Sunday didn’t go the best for them. Cole didn’t become world champion, neither team here took the tag titles. Matt Jackson says, “No thanks to Kyle & Bobby. Good job, guys.” The plan didn’t work out, but Kyle says it’s self-centered for Matt to say it’s reDRagon’s fault only. Cole has them stop arguing, because things will change next week in that Six Man Tag. Hangman, Cole has two guys who are the perfect partners for him. These guys live in Hangman’s head rent free, 24/7. These guys know how to party, and two of Cole’s very best friends!

Matt stops Cole there. He’s told Cole before. They want nothing to do with Hangman, even if it’s a match. Count them out. Oh, well, Cole wasn’t picking the Bucks anyway. It was going to be reDRagon. Oh, good. Cole storms off and Kyle says again, Matt is being self-centered. Work on that. Cutler says he would’ve chosen the Bucks. Shut up, Brandon. And reDRagon heard that! Will Cole, Kyle & Fish be the undisputed winners against the three AEW champions?

Backstage interview with FTR & Tully Blanchard.

Alex Marvez brings up that Dax Harwood & Cash Wheeler lost in two straight Tag Team Battle Royals, but where does their focus turn now? The titles? Or revenge on Bucks and reDRagon? Dax says that in private conversations, many, many times, pro-wrestling is Dax’s first love. All the way up until his wedding day with his wife, and then the birth of his baby girl. To be able to go back to Ashville, North Carolina, and tell his daughter that she can do whatever she wants, so long as she stands up for what she believes in, that means Dax & Uncle Dan have to do the same! So that means reDRagon and Bucks, Dax & Cash-

Tully speaks up. He wants to remind them that when he got involved with FTR, it was about championships. They listened to Tully, they want championships. He understands family, he has one, too. The kids need things, but AEW is about FTR winning the titles back! Dax grabs Tully by the collar and tells him this is about his family! Cash cools things off, but says that this is about family. Sadly, Tully ain’t family, so he’s fired. What a development for FTR and The Pinnacle as a whole! Will Dax & Cash get their revenge on The Elite one way or another?

The Andrade Hardy Family Office is in the ring.

El Idolo and his assistant, Jose, stand with Big Money Matt, Private Party, and the mercenaries, The Butcher & The Blade. Hardy says that they came out here tonight to start fresh. Hardy wants to make amends with the AHFO. Andrade came out here because he wants to FIRE Hardy from the group he started here! Andrade tells Hardy to tranquilo, take it easy. What happened to Hardy and Mr. Sting? Where’s the suit? Hardy is turning over a new leaf. Hardy apologized for treating everyone poorly, and his boys, Private Party. He puts a suit on, he transforms into an A-hole. Andrade knows what that is like, and same for Jose!

Whoa, seriously, Matt? Fans echo, “A-HOLE~!” and Hardy says he just wants to make things right. Well, okay. They will make this right. It will be a vote. Well, Hardy is fine with that, but he isn’t sure how good Andrade’s arithmetic is, because he can’t vote Hardy out unless Marq Quen & Isiah Kassidy side with Andrade. So if they want Hardy to stay, thumbs up. Thumbs down for firing Hardy. Thumbs down from Andrade, but thumbs up from Hardy. Jose says down, but the Private Party boys say up! And Hardy knew that was how it’d be. Hardy wants to work with them, but wait! The Private Party changes their votes!!

Andrade says, “In this business, you always but always need to watch your back.” Hardy looks around and sees the thumbs down! How could they do this to him? But then Andrade attacks Hardy from behind! And the mercs join in, and then so does Private Party! Now it’s just the ANDRADE Family Office! Private Party stands Hardy up and Andrade says he is THE BOSS! BOOT for Hardy! Jose applauds but then Andrade has Jose go fetch something. A chair! But wait, here comes Darby Allin and Sting! They may have had problems with Hardy, but they seem to have bigger beef with Andrade!

Darby and Sting go down the ramp but they’re still outnumbered. Jose keeps Hardy down with the chair but Sting and Darby still fight the thugs! Darby is mugged by Private Party, and eventually Butcher & Blade turn things around on Sting! BUT HERE COMES JEFF HARDY!!! The Charismatic Enigma throws hands on Private Party! And RUSSIAN LEG SWEEPS Blade, to JAWBREAKER Butcher! Hardy chases of Jose and Andrade, too! Darby and Hardy pinball Blade around, then Sting gets his shot in. Matt Hardy gives Blade a TWIST OF FATE! Jeff throws off the shirt, goes up top, SWANTON BOMB!!

Fans are going nuts to see the Hardy Boyz together here in AEW! Even Darby is shocked! Will Team Extreme revolutionize what’s going on here in AEW?

Backstage interview with Swerve Strickland.

A great response for Swerve at Revolutionary, but he make his in-ring debut on Rampage this Friday. Swerve says, “You know I’m like this. Debuting in AEW.” But Tony Nese applauds and sarcastically welcomes Swerve. Everyone is so excited to see him. Look at Schiavone, he was going crazy! They didn’t do that for Nese but whatever. Swerve doesn’t have an opponent yet, but seeing as how these two have history on Fridays, why not let the Premier Athlete welcome him properly? Swerve wondered who would be first to interrupt him. But of course it’s Nese.

So yeah, let’s revisit their Fridays on Rampage, and Swerve will bless Nese again, by still beatin’ that ass. This ain’t Nese’s House, this is SWERVE’S House. See you Friday.

AEW returns and Schiavone is in the ring.

He welcomes us back to Dynamite, and let’s bring in the NEW Face of the Revolution, WARDLOW! The Maestro of Mayhem makes his way out, and no need for an accountabilibuddy, either. Wardlow won the ladder match and is preparing for a TNT Championship match, but Schiavone is really happy to see what Wardlow did with the Dynamite Diamond Ring to MJF. However, isn’t he still under contract with MJF? Wardlow says “We all have to come to a moment in life where we have to decide: Are we going to help somebody, and spend our lives accomplishing someone else’s goals and dreams? Or are we going to take that next step and take that chance and fulfill our own?”

Wardlow says that before Max, he spent too many years spending his life helping someone else build something while receiving nothing and still the demand for more in return. He thought his opportunity with MJF was his chance to free the wild animal from the circus. Little did Wardlow know that he walked out of one cage, and into another. He found himself spending his energy, his life, making sure Max was fulfilling his dreams. Now, Wardlow knew MJF wasn’t a good guy when he signed up for the job, and so everyone will have to forgive him for associating with such trash.

But to be honest, Wardlow grew up very poor, and had to watch his mother with a heart of gold struggle to raise him and his two older sisters. At a young age, Wardlow knew he wanted to be a pro-wrestler because he fell in love with it, but also because it’d grant him the opportunity to provide for himself, and his family. Max was his way of getting his foot in the door. Yes, here Wardlow is, and yes, MJF paid him a lot of money and yes, MJF changed Wardlow’s life. For that, Wardlow is thankful. But it doesn’t matter how much you pay someone, how much you help someone, it doesn’t give someone the right to disrespect them, threaten their family, and sure as hell doesn’t give you the right to put your hands on them!

Wardlow tells MJF that when MJF slapped him, MJF decided his own fate. Contract? Yes, he is still under contract, but he no longer gives a damn! And at Revolution, Wardlow’s actions were to let Max and everyone else know that he is no longer watch MJF’s back, no longer is body guard and no longer in The Pinnacle! Wardlow is finally FREE! Fans cheer that, and chant for “WARD~LOW!” Wardlow hopes MJF is as smart as he claims to be, and releases Wardlow from the BS. Now, in return, Wardlow will wash his hands of MJF and they can go their separate ways.

Don’t get him wrong, Wardlow would love to powerbomb MJF until he can no longer move. But Wardlow’s wasted three years on MJF, he won’t waste another ounce of energy. Karma will be Wardlow’s revenge while MJF gets everything he has coming to him. So Wardlow’s only concern now is getting that TNT Championship and obtaining a new contract. Then Wardlow isn’t stopping at the TNT title. After years of giving, Wardlow is finally taking, and he wants it all! So as of right now, Wardlow is letting everyone know, All Elite Wrestling is officially Wardlow’s world! Fans fire up as the big man puts out his mission statement! Will anyone, can anyone, stop him?

Backstage interview with Keith Lee and QT Marshall.

Alex Marvez says QT asked for this time, but Keith isn’t even sure what QT wants from him. QT wants to welcome Keith to AEW, and says he understands why Keith Lee is limitless. But it seems they have a common enemy in Team Taz. QT thought he and Taz were great friends, with Taz trusting QT to train his son, Hook. Didn’t Hook beat QT up? Yes, but that’s the learning process. QT says Keith seems to have issue with Ricky Starks & Will Hobbs. Keith, QT knows they don’t know each other, but QT has some stroke around here. The Factory has Keith’s back. Uh, Keith has a very large back, but he’s good.

Keith walks away and QT asks what he means by “you’re good?” Keith will pay for this! Is QT seriously going to try and make the Limitless One his enemy?

The Acclaimed regroup, only to get DOUBLE LARIATS! Fans fire up with Luchasaurus, and he gets The Acclaimed with choke grips! But The Acclaimed gets away to the outside but Luchasaurus pursues.

Luchasaurus swats Caster’s clothesline, choke grips him, and and dodges the boom box attack! Luchasaurus shoves Caster into Bowens, and JB FLIES out onto them both! Winners: Jurassic Express, by pinfall (still AEW World Tag Team Champions)

Three top teams in the world came for Jurassic Express, but none of them could stop the champs! Will JB & Luchasaurus be able to do the same alongside Hangman against Cole, Fish & O’Reilly?

Jade Cargill & Mark Sterling speak.

The TBS Champion says, “All we wanna know is, who’s next?” Smart Mark Sterling asks, “Who’s left?” Jade’s beaten Red Velvet. That was easy. She beat The Bunny. Forgot about her. Skye Blue. Anna Jay! And now, Tay Conti. Next is the biggest opportunity of them all: 30-0 undefeated streak. This open challenge has a very important question. “Who wants to step up and receive my beautiful kiss of death on #ThatBitchShow?”

AEW Women’s World Championship #1 Contender’s Match: Leyla Hirsch VS Thunder Rosa!

After Leyla scored a not so legit win in the Buy In, and after an even less fair loss for La Mera Mera, the rankings have switched. Will Leyla still be number one and head for Britt Baker next week? Or will Thunder Rosa use Leyla to vent so she can get a rematch with the “good” doctor?

The bell rings, the two circle and tie up. Leyla gets around, waistlocks then traps the arms for a takedown. She gets a dragon sleeper but Rosa slips out to facelock. Winner: Thunder Rosa, by pinfall (NEW #1 Contender to the AEW Women’s World Championship)

Now this was legit! La Mera Mera is one week away from her rematch, will she get revenge on Britt for St. Patrick’s Day?

Tony Schiavone speaks from commentary that that was a tremendous win for Rosa, she should feel great about it. And it was one year ago at St. Patrick’s Day Slam that Rosa had that amazing Unsanctioned Lights Out Match with Britt Baker. Now, in her hometown of San Antonio, in the title rematch, it will be in a STEEL CAGE! Rosa is fired up to hear that! Will that cage keep out Britt’s little buddies so Rosa can have a real shot?

Britt Baker responds.

“Hey, Thunder. Champ here. It’s funny how you had a little more pep in your step getting down the ramp tonight. I guess that’s how it works when you think you actually have a shot at beating your opponent. Speaking of which, I beat you at Revolution, so why instead of going to the back of the line like everyone else, did you get an Eliminator Match three nights later? And now, I have to wrestle you in a cage to keep my friends out, but you get all of San Antonio backing you? This conspiracy sh*t lives on. Hey, Red Velvet! How you doing, girl? Thunder, I’m happy you finally found a friend, but where’s Mercedes? She didn’t make it to the party?

“That’s okay, she’s not gonna be available next week anyways, regardless of the cage, after Jamie finishes her this week on Rampage. And Thunder, I’m not afraid of you. I’m not afraid of a cage. What I’m afraid of is what becomes of All Elite Wrestling if carny riffraff like you becomes champion. Remember: almost a year ago in that Lights Out Match, you go the pin. But who really won? Yours truly, Dr. Britt Baker, DMD.” Britt said a lot of big words, but will she have to eat them all when she and Rosa are locked inside the cage?

AEW TNT Championship: Sammy Guevara VS Scorpio Sky w/ Ethan Page & Dan Lambert!

The Spanish God retained against both El Idolo and Darby Allin, but no one has pinned or submitted The Closer in over a year. We know Wardlow is waiting on the other side, but who brings the gold to the St. Patrick’s Day Slam?

The introductions are made, the belt is raised, it’s title VS streak, something’s gotta give!

Sammy and Scorpio stare down, then Scorpio rushes in! Sammy dodges, fires off and CHOPS Scorpio in the corner! Scorpio turns it around to CHOP and CHOP! Sammy fires haymakers back, but Scorpio knees low. Scorpio whips, Sammy reverses and hurdles, then flips, then dropkicks! Scorpio bails out, Sammy kips up so smooth! Scorpio regroups with All Ego and Fat Headed Dips*it, but Sammy storms over. Scorpio ROCKS Sammy with a sucker punch, then ROCKS him again! Sammy ROCKS Scorpio back, then whips him into railing, right in front of Paige VanZant and her hubby!

Sammy refreshes the count, looks under the ring, and brings out a TABLE! Fans fire up but Ethan complains, this isn’t No Disqualification! Sammy RAMS Scorpio into steel steps, then refreshes the count again. Sammy finishes setting up the table, Lambert and Ethan are furious with the ref. Sammy gets Scorpio up but Scorpio fireman’s carries! Sammy slips off to RAM Scorpio into railing again, then SUPERKICKS him down! Scorpio flops under the table, Sammy goes around to get him. Sammy puts Scorpio on the table, throws down hands, then tells the fans he’s loco! Sammy goes up top and fans fire up!

The ref warns Sammy, this still isn’t no disqualification! Sammy doesn’t care, he’s LOCO! 630 SENTON, but Scorpio moves! Sammy goes through the table, ALONE! Ethan coaches Scorpio up while Lambert is having the time of his life! Fans lose their minds, a medic checks on Sammy, but Scorpio stomps Sammy down! Tay Conti rushes out to check on Sammy, too, and Dynamite goes picture in picture.

The medic still checks Sammy, he does have bad ribs from Revolution. Sammy is shaking his head, this was probably too reckless for even him. More refs come out, they talk over the situation. Ethan and Lambert have Scorpio stay in the ring while Sammy is still being checked out. Tay is very worried as Sammy does his best to explain to the medic. Scorpio does a mock ring count, and hits ten. He acts like he wins, but uh, titles don’t change on count outs, right? Sammy tries to sit up but even that is hard. Sammy slowly stands up, and has Tay and the medic support him. They’re walking towards the ramp, is this match done?

Sammy takes a moment to rest, still tries to explain, and then he gets up again. Wait, is Sammy saying he can continue?! Tay and the medic don’t think that’s good, but Sammy gets in the ring! The ref checks with him if this is really what he wants, and Sammy says yes! Dynamite returns to single picture, this match continues! And he SPITS in Scorpio’s face to egg him on! They start throwing hands fast and furious, and fans cheer on the guts! Scorpio fires knees on the ribs, throws Sammy out hard, and Tay is back to check on him again. Scorpio goes out and tells Tay to back off. He says this is what happens.

Scorpio gives Sammy a kiss on the cheek to taunt Tay, and then VanZant starts talking trash. Tay stares her down but leaves it at that. Scorpio gets Sammy up, for a BACKBREAKER! Scorpio gets right in Sammy’s face as he writhes, but Sammy pie faces back. Scorpio gets Sammy up again, for another BACKBREAKER! Tay cheers Sammy on but Scorpio talks trash right to his face. Scorpio looms over Sammy, drags him back up, and hits a third BACKBREAKER! Cover, TWO!! Sammy stays in this but the kick-out seems to hurt just as much as anything else! Scorpio digs his knee into Sammy with a chinlock!

Fans rally up, Sammy fights to his feet and throws haymakers and body shots! Sammy fires off shots, runs, and turns Scorpio’s kitchen sink into a roll-up! TWO!! Sammy CHOPS Scorpio, but he drops to a knee. Sammy CHOPS again, and he whips but Scorpio reverses. Sammy back elbows from a corner, and jump kicks! Sammy gets out, springboards back in, FLYING CUTTER!! Cover, TWO!! Scorpio survives and fans are thunderous! Sammy snarls, slashes his throat, and he brings Scorpio up. But Scorpio fireman’s carries for the TK- NO! Sammy slips out, SUPERKICKS back, and torture racks! G T H!!! But Scorpio gets away before a cover!

Sammy hurries to get Scorpio into a drop zone! Sammy goes up, and SHOOTING STARS onto knees!! Both men are down and Lambert distracts the ref. Ethan gets on the apron but Tay YANKS him down! Tay says no he don’t! But VanZant jumps the rail to CLOBBER Tay! And RAM her into steel steps! Sammy is distracted, Scorpio gets a T K O!!! Cover, Scorpio wins!!!

Winner: Scorpio Sky, by pinfall (NEW AEW TNT Champion)

The streak still lives, and Scorpio is now the first to check off his second AEW title! But speaking of which, Scorpio CLOBBERS Sammy with one of the belts!! Tay gets up and VanZant shoves her into the ring! BUZZSAW! Tay flops onto Sammy, and VanZant shows off her AEW contract. VanZant uses Tay’s ass as the table to sign it! American Top Team is taking over! But with Wardlow waiting, will Scorpio’s reign end real quick?

My Thoughts:

Wow, I have never seen a wrestling company do such a big follow-up show like this. We just got Revolution, and St. Patrick’s Day Slam is coming next, but AEW sandwiching what was practically a PPV on TV was a major power play. We got a powerful opening segment with Jericho baiting Kingston and even Santana & Ortiz into a trap to recreate the Inner Circle into a new faction. I had the weirdest feeling something like this would happen, but I never thought it’d happen. And then we got an awesome surprise in a world title match for Dante. This was definitely AEW’s nod towards Dante being another of their young pillars.

At the same time, Hangman having any match was a great way to bring Adam Cole out and essentially demand a rematch. Of course, this all threads through the story of dysfunction within The Elite and Cole’s social circle. I knew right away that Cole was making us think he meant the Young Bucks but was really going with reDRagon. I did not expect Hangman to say he was going with Jurassic Express over The Dark Order, but there’s still the on again, off again relationship that Hangman has with them that AEW plays with. Jurassic Express having another title defense here was also a great surprise, and it was great stuff with The Acclaimed.

Wardlow of course was going to say he was breaking off from MJF, but that was a really well done promo for him. FTR had a really good promo, too, and firing Tully was quite the surprise. It seems that while the Inner Circle’s ashes have born a new faction, it feels like The Pinnacle is just going to fall apart period. Maybe Tully defaults to being Shawn Spears’ manager, and then they together help MJF. Good promo from Keith and QT to set up a match there, and a good promo from Swerve and Nese to vaguely reference WWE 205 Live and the golden days it had with these two. I would think Swerve wins his debut in a great match with Nese.

Great “standby” match from Pac VS Yuta. It didn’t necessarily block off more from Death Triangle VS House of Black, but it did harken back to when Pac feuded with Cassidy. AHFO had a good segment together, and this was the moment everyone was figuring would happen. Matt Hardy gets kicked out but he gets back-up from Brother Nero! The Hardys are together again again, and I’m thinking we get an 8 Man Tag since Darby and Sting also joined in. Leyla VS Rosa was a very good match, and it was great of Velvet to stop Leyla from cheating. That sets up Velvet VS Leyla, and then I really like that they’re stepping up Britt VS Rosa to a Steel Cage.

Britt had a good promo that does technically have a good point about Rosa coming back so soon, but the easy counter is that management has eyes and is fed up with her cheating. Though, I’m pretty sure that, like any other cage match, interference still happens. I just hope that with Rosa being in her hometown and AEW actually letting hometown heroes go over, this is finally Rosa’s win. Jade had a good promo to leave it open that she’ll be expecting someone to step up. Not really sure who there is with many names busy in stories, but maybe we’ll get a nice surprise through the “Forbidden Door.”

We got a great tag debut for Moxley & Bryan, and even a good AEW debut for The Workhorsemen. But whoever was being put against Moxley & Bryan, they were going to lose. Regal had an awesome promo, a powerful promo, that showed us the path that led these three to this moment, and I am very excited. Whether Moxley & Bryan become an AEW Two Man Power Trip or add some of those young names Bryan mentioned before to their team and still take over everything here. And then, what a main event! I did not think Sammy would crash through the table and sell the ribs, and then still lose because of American Top Team.

Next week, Scorpio VS Wardlow is going to be great stuff, could go either way because American Top Team or MJF can screw Wardlow. And VanZant targeting Tay Conti, that’s a good audible with Cody & Brandi gone. Hell, it’s an improvement because Tay is legit just like VanZant.

My Score: 9.1/10

PLAY BY PLAY

Adam Copeland is here!

The fans fire up and sing along as The Rated R Superstar makes his entrance, complete with the pyro but also a black eye. Cope goes to the ring, he grabs a mic, and he tells Seattle, “If you couldn’t tell, Dynasty on Sunday didn’t necessarily go our way. Yes, my face got messed up, way to go, Einstein. I got glue in my forehead, staples in my forehead, I got a shiner. Let’s face it, FTR… They said what they were gonna do and they did it.” The fans boo but Cope says they got to Christian, too, that’s why he’s not here. Christian’s gotta get an MRI on his forearm to see if it’s broke. The fans also boo that.

Cope says FTR gave his wife a piledriver. They took Christian’s watch! And in Christian’s world, that’s actually worse! There are three things you don’t mess with when it comes to Christian: His watch, his wine, and his women. In that order. But FTR, on Dynamite, you came out and said that while you’re the champions, Cope & Cage will not get another title shot. The fans boo again, but Cope says he is cooking an idea on that so bear with him. But if FTR thinks that this is just about titles, that C&C are just gonna walk away cuz they didn’t win at Dynasty, they’ve watched C&C’s careers and think that these two are just gonna walk away?

Do you think that they’re just gonna tuck their tails and run? The fans say “NO!” Cope says that is NOT what they do! Christian was forced to retire for seven YEARS! He busted his ass and he got this back! The fans cheer that, and Cope says he was retired for NINE YEARS, told he can never do this again because if he fell over, he could die! But Cope is standing here, full o’ piss ‘n’ vinegar! C&C are like dogs on a bone, and they will END FTR and take their pound of flesh! The fans cheer, but then FTR makes their way out here. Cope is ready to fight, but where are they? FTR walks out on stage, and Stoke has the mic as he smiles at Cope.

But then RPG VICE rush Cope, just like last week! Cope is ready this time and he fights off Rocky & Trent, but now FTR joins in! The fans boo this 4v1 mugging with Stoke cheering them on! But wait! The Young Bucks rush out here! Matt & Nick Jackson rush the ring, and they dodge FTR to CLOBBER RPG Vice! Then DOUBLE SUPERKICKS for FTR! RPG Vice go after The Bucks, then send them at each other! The Bucks reverse to LARIAT Rocky, then they DOUBLE SUPERKICK Trent! Cope SPEARS Trent down and the fans fire up! Cope snarls as he stands back up, and he shakes hands with The Bucks as thanks for the help.

Cope & The Bucks stare FTR down as FTR retreats, but will The Bucks and C&C have to fight it out to go after those tag team championships?

Jack Perry speaks.

“At Dynasty, I got my first taste of what it’s like to defend this championship. And it’s exactly what I’ve been waiting for. But Don Callis, you only got close enough to get a sniff, because I beat your biggest, baddest and most dangerous, Mark Davis. But after what you just did to the Young Bucks, well, I wanna shove this up your big, stupid, spray-tanned nose. So why don’t you go ahead and pick your favorite goon out of the bunch and meet me next week in Portland so that I can add another notch to my belt as the National Champion.” Jungle Jack has thrown out the challenge, but who will be up to the task?

The Young Bucks VS The Rascalz!

Matt & Nick got a warm-up in with that brawl, but now it’s time to go to work. Will Spring Breakthru turn into a Superkick Party? Or will Zachary Wentz & Myron Reed light it up?

The teams sort out and Nick starts against Zach. The bell rings, Zach and Nick circle, shake hands, then rally the fans. Nick and Zach circle, tie up, and Nick wrenches an arm to a wristlock. Nick YANKS the arm, but Zach rolls, kips up, and flips back to arm-drag free! The fans cheer, Zach dodges Nick to hurdle over. Nick leaps over, then WHEEL KICKS! The fans cheer as Nick whips Zach, but Zach reverses. Matt sneaks the tag, Nick goes up and over to clinch, GUT BUSTER to BACKBERAKER NECKBREAKER! The fans cheer while Zach scrambles away and Myron tags in. Myron runs up, The Bucks dodge to double kick.

The Bucks double whip but Myron ducks the lariats. Matt switches with Myron and feeds to Nick for a waistlock. Myron BOOTS Matt, switches with Nick, but Nick switches back. Matt runs up, SUNSET GERMAN SUPLEX! The fans cheer while Myron flounders away. The Bucks go back for Myron, bring him up, and put him in the ropes. They mug Myron but Zach goes after The Bucks. Zach whips, Nick reverses, but Zach puts Nick on the apron. Matt runs up, LARIAT ENZIGIRI SANDWICH! Then a CATAPULT into the GAMANGIRI! Nick goes up, DOUBLE STOMP BACKBREAKER, and a somersault into the BACKSTABBER on Myron!

The fans fire up with The Bucks as they stand tall, and Matt brings Myron around. Tag to Nick, he CLUBS Myron, then The Bucks double whip. Myron ducks ‘n ‘dodges, shoves Matt into Nick, and then reaches for Zach! Nick reels Myron in and back suplexes, but Myron lands out. Matt is there to back suplex but Myron lands out. Myron slides under, UP KICKS Matt, and he avoids Nick’s senton! Myron crawls and hot tags Zach! The fans cheer as Zach rallies with forearms and elbows, then he CHOPS Nick! Zach whips, Nick reverses, but Zach turns hurdle into FLAPJACK and deadlift GERMAN SUPLEX! Zach fires off kicks on Matt, BUZZSAW and DOUBLE STOMPS!

The fans fire up again while The Bucks bail out. Zach & Myron build speed to DOUBLE DIVE! Now The Rascalz stand tall, and they just keep going! Myron is a step for Zach to hit a SUPER DIVE! Zach takes both Bucks down, but he puts Matt in. Myron picks Matt up, SLINGSHOT BACK SUPLEX! The Rascalz intercept Nick with kicks, then double whip him to ropes. DOUBLE HIP TOSS, but Nick lands out! Meeting of the minds, then Nick suplexes Myron. STUN-DOG MILLIONAIRE, and Zach catches Nick outta the air, SUPERKICK GERMAN SUPLEX COMBO! Bridging cover, TWO! Nick survives and the fans cheer while Collision goes picture in picture.

Zach clamps on a chinlock and grinds Nick down. Nick endures, fights up, but Zach RAMS him into the Rascalz’ corner. Zach stomps Nick down, tags Myron, and Myron stomps Nick down. Thekla taunts Windsor before she drags her up. Thekla then THROWS Windsor into railing! Windsor sputters and writhes but Thekla refreshes the ring count. Thekla then drags Windsor up, makes her take a seat, then climbs up to rain down fists! The fans count along, and Thekla goes all the way to TEN! Or maybe “zehn?” Either way, Thekla reels Windsor in, only for Windsor to RAM her into the railing! Windsor fires off fists, then climbs up to rain them down! Windsor definitely goes to TEN, then brings Thekla around to whip hard into the apron! Windsor CHOPS Thekla, but Thekla whips Windsor into barriers!

Windsor falls in a heap, and Thekla soaks up the cheers and jeers. The ref wants this back in the ring so Thekla leaves Windsor behind for the count. Windsor slowly rises up, and she rolls into the ring at 8. Thekla CLUBS Windsor down, steps on her face, but steps off as the ref counts. Thekla then drops onto Windsor for the CROSSFACE! Windsor endures, fights up and around, but Thekla lets go to CLUB Windsor. Windsor fires body shots in return and backs Thekla to a corner. Windsor runs up, but Thekla ROCKS her! Thekla then BOOTS Windsor, reels her in, and has the HANGING HEADSCISSORS as Spring Breakthru returns to single picture!

The ref counts, Thekla lets go at 4, and the fans duel as Thekla storms back in. Thekla snapmares Windsor, then winds up to basement SUPERKICK! Cover, TWO! Windsor survives but Thekla is amused. Thekla storms up on Windsor and CHOPS! The fans cheer as Theknla shots, “Women’s Wrestling!” Thekla CHOPS again, then whips corner to corner, only for Windsor to block! Thekla fires shots on Windsor, but Windsor blocks the whip again! Thekla stomps a foot, then whips Windsor, but Windsor reverses and LARIATS! Then Windsor get moving, ducks ‘n’ dodges, redirects, and FLYING SHOULDER TACKLES!

The fans fire up while both are down. Windsor rises up, she has the legs, but Thekla kicks and kicks and kicks again! Windsor staggers, but she dodges to scoop and BLUE THUNDER BOMB! Cover, TWO! Thekla survives but Windsor stays focused. Windsor hauls Thekla up, clinches, but Thekla fights the lift! Thekla CLUBS Windsor, ROCKS her, but Windsor shakes it off with a smile. Thekla gets in Windsor’s face, then ROCKS her! Windsor walks it off, to then fire off a flurry! The fans cheer, but Thekla dodges one to SMACK Windsor again! But Windsor blocks the next to HEADBUTT! Thekla falls, Windsor gets the legs, SHARPSHOOTER!

The fans fire up as Thekla endures! Windsor sits deep on the hold, but Thekla fights her way forward! ROPEBREAK! Windsor lets go in frustration, but she drags Thekla back up. Pump handle and- NO, Thekla still fights the lift! Thekla ducks ‘n’ dodges to tilt-o-whirl, BLACK WIDOW STRETCH! Windsor endures the modified octopus, but she powers up to reach out! ROPEBREAK! The fans cheer while Thekla lets go in frustration. Thekla hauls Windsor back up, but Windsor breaks free, only for Thekla to SOBAT! Thekla runs, but Windsor LARIATS her down! The fans fire up while both women are down again!

Windsor rises, the fans rally, and Windsor goes up! But Thekla hurries to SMACK Windsor! Thekla climbs, but Windsor fights with body shots! “This is Awesome!” as Windsor HAMMERS away on Thekla! Thekla CLAWS Windsor’s face, then sneaks the brass knuckles out! But Windsor blocks the punch to HEADBUTT! Windsor goes up, over, and SUNSET FLIP- NO, Thekla holds on! BRASS KNUCKLE PUNCH!!! The fans boo as Thekla hides her evidence! Thekla then runs up, CURB STOMP!! Cover, Thekla wins!

Winner: Thekla, by pinfall (still AEW Women’s World Champion)

Another fight, another dirty tactic! But in the end, even Windsor fell into the Toxic Spider’s trap! Will anyone ever get wise to Thekla’s tricks? Or will AEW always be toxic?

My Thoughts:

A great Collision, though kinda hard to follow that great Dynamite from last night. A lot of these matches felt like filler, but because it’s AEW, they even make filler go above and beyond. Pac VS Lio was actually the first real display of this “Problem Child” persona that I really liked. Lio got to show more personality, and seeing Pac & Garcia be afraid of Lio really helped sell the character. Great win for Pac, though, and maybe he goes for the TNT title next. Brody, Mistico y Dorada of course won their match, but again, they made the squash match a fun match. Them mentioning Bandido and Supercard of Honor was nice, it means they care about ROH on some level.

Very good opening promo from Cope, but of course FTR had to show up. RPG Vice attacking again was redundant, but The Bucks making the save was a nice change. Makes me think we’re getting an 8 Man Tag, FTRPG Vice VS Cope, Cage & The Bucks, and that somehow leads to the tag title match for Double or Nothing. Great tag match from The Bucks VS The Rascalz, and even a good move for The Dogs to go after those teams. I wonder if The Dogs and even The Rascalz get in on the tag match. Five, maybe even six teams, all fighting for the titles, that’d be awesome stuff for Double or Nothing, and a great way to give The Bucks their historic fourth reign.

Kris & Shida had a very good tag match and of course they won, but I like Mina accusing Shida of being whodunnit. Shida is certainly being two-faced, but who knows if she’ll be chosen as the one who took out Toni Storm. Great Six Man Tag from Conglomeration VS Lethal Twist, and of course The Conglomeration won. Great Continental Championship Eliminator, and great showing for Nick Wayne in his return to Dynamite. I still think he needs more to do with the ROH World TV title, but hey, they could use this to say Nick won some respect from Moxley. The story still feels like Moxley and Ospreay will run it back at Double or Nothing.

And as I figured from last night, Thekla was gonna cheat to win and keep the title. It was a great main event, but there might be something bigger in store for Double or Nothing, like a Triple Threat against both Brawling Birds.

My Score: 8.8/10

PLAY BY PLAY

Renee Paquette is waiting in the parking lot.

She lets us know that AEW Management has been trying to let MJF know for the past three days that Darby Allin has demanded his AEW World Championship opportunity for tonight. A car pulls up, and MJF has arrived! Renee gets his attention, and brings up Darby’s win at AEW Dynasty. MJF stops her there, because he doesn’t get why we’re talking about Darby Allin, the guy he’s beaten three times, and once with a headlock takeover. No, what we’re gonna talk about is THE world champion, the most important champion in all of pro-wrestling today, the guy who has beaten the likes of Bandido, Brody King, Kevin Knight, Mike Bailey!

The man who has made sure that Hangman Adam Page can NEVER, EVER be AEW World Champion again, and the man who kicked out of a One Winged Angel like it was nothing! Honestly, a very ineffective move. A man who beat your boy, “Kenny BAH GAWD Omega,” fair and square in the middle of the ring! Nobody can stop #BigHebrew! But Darby has- Don Callis interrupts and he shakes MJF’s hand! What a match! He destroyed Kenny Omega! Just as Callis knew MJF would. Enjoy it, champ! MJF says Callis is a mench. Not just that, The Mench of the Cench (as in Century). Callis says sorry about the Andrade thing, though, but take care.

MJF asks what Callis means by that. Well, Darby beat Andrade. Wait, what? MJF thought Andrade won. No, didn’t MJF watch the match? NO, he was preparing for his own match! Well, Andrade… MJF stops Don there. He loves Don to death, this isn’t Don’s fault, it’s on his boy. However, now Callis owes MJF one. Now, this isn’t the favor, but Callis does need to tell Andrade on MJF’s behalf that he is NOT ever gonna be championship material because the man doesn’t get the job done when he needs to. MJF reiterates that he loves Don, and he says bye, Renee, he’s outta here. But then Renee shouts at MJF to just listen!

Darby Allin won his match at Dynasty, making him #1 contender, and he wants that match TONIGHT. Does he understand!? What?! Tonight?! When?! Renee chuckles as she says, right now. WHAT THE WHAT?!? MJF is furious, he just arrived! Does MJF even stand a chance? Or has Darby gotten one over on The Devil of AEW?

AEW World Championship: MJF VS Darby Allin!

MJF panics as he shouts, “NO! NO! NO! Cut the music! Cut the gaddamn music right now!!” The fans boo but MJF storms down to the ring. MJF says if the “little emo freak” thinks for one solitary second that MJF is defending his title in an impromptu that he just found out about three seconds ago, then Darby is as stupid as he looks! The fans boo but MJF tells them to shut up! Maybe the people are too braindead to understand how much money MJF has. If he doesn’t want something to happen, it won’t happen! MJF will get his lawyer, he’ll sue “that skank, Aubrey,” he’ll sue Darby, he’ll sue “that pervert, Justin Roberts!”

MJF will sue Tony Khan, sue AEW, sue Warner Brothers, and every single one of these freaks who decide to live in the dumpster fire that is Washington state! The fans chant “Ring The Bell!” MJF mockingly asks back, “Ring the bell? You wanna see the match right now?! Do you wanna see this match?! Too bad! My back hurts from wrestling close to an hour against Kenny Omega only three days ago. Speaking of legalities, I wonder how our company would look if they forced me to wrestle tonight with an injury. That’s not a good look. Darby, I’m gonna go get checked out by the trainers in the back, but frankly, I’m doing you a favor by not wrestling you.”

The fans boo more, MJF’s mic gets glitchy, so he trades with Justin Roberts. MJF says he is doing Darby a favor. Let’s talk the elephant in the room: Darby is very talented, a great underdog, the fans love him! They really do. But the reason they love you is because you’re like them. You’re good, but not great. Like the fans, you’re not championship material. Darby, with love and respect, and MJF does mean that, you’re not ready to be- Darby snatches the mic from MJF! Darby is worked up already as the fans cheer him on. “All it takes is one night to drop the wrestling world’s on its head! If I’m not ready now, I’ll never be ready!”

The fans cheer Darby on as he says, “I kill myself for this company. Monday, I hung posters all around this city. I taped posters all around the city for tonight’s show. I climbed Mount Everest and I hung that flag on top of the world! The scars, the blood, everything! I’m ready! I’ve been ready! My career started ten miles down the road, at the Buddy Wayne Academy. And I took a deep breath my first day of wrestling school, and I said I was either gonna make it as Darby Allin, or I’m gonna fail as Darby, but I’m not changing a single thing!” The fans cheer that, too! Darby says tonight, he climbed to the top of this sport, and he didn’t change a thing! RING THE BELL!

The fans are fired up again but MJF says first off, relax, we’re not doing that. But then BRYAN DANIELSON speaks up! The fans cheer as Bryan tells MJF and Darby that he just got a message right from Tony Khan. And Tony Khan actually agrees… with MJF… It is unfair for MJF to wrestle when he is unprepared. And Max, that is why Tony will give MJF plenty of time to prepare, because this match, this AEW World Championship match, will be in tonight’s MAIN EVENT! The fans cheer that! MJF is furious, because that’s still only 90 minutes! MJF protests, but the fans cheer “YES! YES! YES!” Bryan says if MJF refuses that match, he will be STRIPPED of the title!

MJF is furious, but Darby turns him around to say, “Tonight in the main event, I’m beating your ass with a headlock takeover!” Darby throws down the mic, having thrown down the gauntlet! Will everything come full circle for the Relentless One?

AEW shares footage from after Dynasty.

Tony Schiavone waited outside the trainer’s room and spoke on the amazing night and amazing main event. He has Kenny Omega here, and he says he knows it was a heartbreaking loss. How is Kenny doing? Kenny isn’t sure what to say, he has nothing. He is sorry about that. Schiavone says that’s alright, just take care of yourself. Doc Sampson helps Kenny walk through the door, and Will Ospreay is also getting checked out. Kenny says, “Look at us, Will.” Ospreay feeling okay? Not really. Welcome to the club. Things didn’t go their way tonight. Not one bit. Not how they pictured it. Kenny feels he let everyone down.

Ospreay gets that, but he wants Kenny to think about it. Ospreay was there in the Tokyo Dome back in 2017 when Omega lost to Okada. Omega doubted himself, but he bounced back and climbed up the mountain. Yeah, but that was almost 10 years ago. Omega isn’t sure how much time he has left. But Ospreay does have time. He has the heart of a wrestler. AEW, pro-wrestling, it’s all Ospreay from here on in. Omega believes Ospreay can take it back. Ospreay’s got this. Ospreay says they still have this.

Now, Ospreay is dejected, sad, crying for about the last 40 minutes. But his dream and his ambition are still being AEW World Champion. He hopes Kenny hasn’t given up that dream, either. Omega can do it. Ospreay stands up, says he always has Kenny’s back, and gives him a pat and kiss on the head. Ospreay says Omega’s his hero. They shake on it and Ospreay heads out. Omega thinks on that. Omega is Ospreay’s hero, huh? Then maybe he can’t give up. The Best Bout Machine has a lot to think about, but will he rebuild and redeem himself just as before? Or will it take a bit more than determination to reclaim that former glory?

Tommaso Ciampa VS Dezmond Xavier!

The Psycho Killer wanted “Silvey” back so badly, but despite starting the Casino Gauntlet, he did not win the Casino Gauntlet. Will he fight his way back to a new opportunity? Or will Dez light it up and look for his own golden ticket?

The bell rings and the two circle. They feel tings out, but Ciampa BOOTS and ROCKS and then stomps away at the ropes! The ref counts, Ciampa stops at 4, and the fans fire up. Ciampa BOOT WASHES Dez outta the ring! Then Ciampa whips Dez hard into barriers! Ciampa shoves Dez back inside but the ref has him hold on. The ref checks Dez, Ciampa drags Dez up to wrench and whip. Dez rolls to stop, then he sidesteps Ciampa to run, roll, and UP KICK! Dez dodges again, waistlocks, but Ciampa ELBOWS free! Ciampa then TOSSES Dez out, and KNEES him off the apron! The fans rally while Ciampa shouts, “No more games! I want ALL the gold!”

Ciampa goes out after Dez, then whips him at the steps. Dez handsprings up and over! The fans fire up while Ciampa snarls. Both men slide into the ring, Dez bobs ‘n’ weaves to fire off fast hands! Dez body blows, clubs a leg, then UPPERCUTS! Dez runs but Ciampa ELBOWS him again! Ciampa whips, Dez handsprings, but Ciampa dodges with a slide. Ciampa runs up, Dez dodges, then DROPKICKS on return! The fans fire up as Ciampa bails out, and Dez builds speed! Dez slides to a stop as Ciampa moves aside. The fans are torn while Ciampa wags his finger, and Dynamite goes picture in picture.

Ciampa checks his teeth, it seems they’re all there, so Ciampa takes his time goes back to the ring. Ciampa rolls in, only to roll back out, and he grabs a mic to talk trash on Seattle. Ciampa then storms up to the apron, but he just baits Dez into chasing him around the outside. Dez slides in but Ciampa stomps away! The ref counts, Ciampa stops to mock Seattle again, and he hoists Dez up to SLINGSHOT him off the ropes! Dez flops down, but Ciampa climbs up the corner just to tell Seattle, “SUCK IT!” Ciampa drags Dez up, whips him to ropes, then kitchen sink knees! Ciampa flexes as he soaks up heat, then he goes to Dez.

Ciampa drags Dez by the legs, stomps him in the stomach, then stomps him again. Ciampa has the legs, he YANKS Dez from the ropes, then he paces around Dez. Ciampa KNEES Dez in the back, drags him around again, but Dez fires body shots and haymakers! Dez ROCKS Ciampa, whips him to ropes, but Ciampa reverses. Dez ducks ‘n’ dodges, but Ciampa ducks under the crossbody! Dez crash lands, and Ciampa taunts the fans again. Dez SMACKS Ciampa, but Ciampa snapmares Dez into a chinlock. Dynamite returns to single picture as Dez endures. The fans rally as Dez CLUBS at Ciampa from below.

Ciampa pushes Dez down, grinds them down and flexes at the same time. Dez still endures, even as Ciampa puts on the pressure. Dez fights up, up, and fires body shots! The fans rally but Ciampa shoves Dez. Dez ducks ‘n’ dodges to CLOBBER Ciampa again and again! Dez fires fast hands, then a CUTTER! The fans fire up as Ciampa goes to a corner. Dez kips up, runs corner to corner, and he UPPERCUTS! Then SUPERKICKS! Then ENZIGIRIS! Ciampa staggers, Dez goes up, TORNADO DDT! Cover, TWO! Ciampa is tougher than that, but Dez drags him around to the drop zone. The fans rally as Dez goes right up top!

Dez aims, and 450- NO, he has to roll through as Ciampa moves! Ciampa ROLLING ELBOWS! Then he reels Dez in, but Dez RANAS! Cover, TWO!! Ciampa escapes, and he runs up, but Dez DUMPS him out! Dez builds speed to DIVE! Down goes Ciampa at the ramp! The fans cheer while Dez hurries to put Ciampa back in. Dez goes back up, FROG SPALSH! Cover, TWO! Ciampa survives again but the fans fire up for Dez! Dez tells Ciampa to get up, then he runs, but Ciampa reels him in! Ciampa back suplexes, but Dez lands out! Dez BOOTS Ciampa, SUPERKICKS, then goes up, up, and leaps, into a JUMP KNEE! The fans fire up while Dez goes down!

Ciampa drags Dez up, reels him in, and lifts for PROJECT CIAMPA! Ciampa isn’t done with Dez, though, as he drags Dez back up. Ciampa takes aim, kneepads down, PSYCHO KNEE!! Cover, Ciampa wins!

Winner: Tommaso Ciampa, by pinfall

Another singles victory for Ciampa, but he demands the mic. “This was the example. Why? Because I’m sick of waiting. I want it all. I came to AEW because this is where the best wrestle, and I want all of the gold. And if I’m not making myself clear… Darby Allin, Maxwell Jacob Friedman, whoever wins… the Psycho Killer is coming for the AEW World title!” Then he PUNTS Dez outta the ring! His shadow knows his story, but will Ciampa’s future be the top of the mountain?

BREAKING NEWS for Collision!

On a special Thursday night broadcast of Spring Breakthru Night 2, we will see the rest of the Rascalz in action as Zachary Wentz & Myron Reed take on The Young Bucks! Will Matt & Nick Jackson keep the momentum going from Dynasty? Or will things still be lit in Seattle? Then Jon Moxley looks to keep his own Dynasty momentum going as he faces the ROH World Television Champion, Nick Wayne! Will The Prodigy live up to that nickname when he earns a shot at the AEW Continental Champion? Or will The Maniac just keep running roughshod through the roster?

Plus, after their successful outing as a team, tense as it was, Kris Statlander & Hikaru Shida are going to do it again! Will #Krishida start a win streak? Or will the cracks in the foundation get worse?

FTR is here!

Cash Wheeler & Dax Harwood are still the AEW World Tag Team Champions as they and Stokely Hathaway make their way to the ring. #BigStoke is all smiles as he hands the mic to Dax. Dax says he’s read a lot of the chatter online, he’s heard all the complaints, and it seems to him the fact that FTR has won again makes all of the fans angry. Hey, he gets it, he understands why they’re angry. They love an underdog story! They love an underdog story because they think they can relate to it, they feel they can relate to the underdog. But the fact is, they’re not underdogs, they’re just losers! No, seriously, they’re just losers! Fat losers!

And speaking of losers, FTR gave Adam Copeland & Christian Cage a brush with relevancy, and those two couldn’t get the job done. So Cope, Cage, Dax is talking to you: As long as FTR are the AEW World Tag Team Champions, C&C will never get a shot at these again! Stoke says he has been told that supposedly, all the fans are educated people? The fans chant, “NO HOES!” Stokely says he don’t need hoes, he has the AEW World Tag Team Champions. But before he was so rudely interrupted, he has been told that “the sickos” know everything about everything! They know about pro-wrestling, about sports, about politics, about history, religion!

So then clearly, they all know the story of David VS Goliath! And the two men that Stoke has in this ring, this is Goliath! And he is here to tell us, that there are a lot of Milli Vanillis, a lot of wannabe Davids! From #Brodido to the Bang Bang Gang to even Matt & Nick Jackson and Cope & Cage! Stoke is here to say that every time David steps up to Goliath, he gets b*tched out. Stoke feels there is no more competition here in AEW! Tony Khan will surely do what he does best and go to CMLL or NJPW, sign every CHUD he can to put in the division, but the results will be the same: they all will fall to the giants known as F T R!

Cash says beautifully said, Big Stoke. Now, if the fans would do FTR a favor and please, he’s asking nicely, let them pay homage to the careers of Cope & Cage. Now that FTR has put an end to them, they would like to have a moment of silence. Please, if you would… The fans boo instead. Cash says please, a moment of silence. And then it’s one second. Now, for those of you in attendance with the benefit of flash photography, FTR won’t give you five seconds, they’re feeling generous. They will give you a ten second pose! The fans boo but FTR does their best “Barry Allen over Oliver Queen’s grave” style pose.

The ten seconds are up and Cash thanks Seattle, they’ve been great, have a great night. The fans boo more, but FTR is moving on with the belts. But is there really no team in AEW that can take these #TopGuysOut?

AEW TNT Championship: Kevin Knight VS Claudio Castagnoli!

The Jet flew high as ever to win this title in the Casino Gauntlet, but he’s already turning around into defense mode! Will Knight truly be 2Fly2Stop? Or will the Death Riders add yet another piece of gold to the collection?

The introductions are made, the belt is raised, and we see if Knight survives the night!

The bell rings and Claudio runs up! Knight sunset flips over him, TWO! Claudio tries again but Knight catches him to a backslide! TWO, and Claudio headlocks. Knight powers up and out, drops down then hurdles over, and he DROPKICKS Claudio down! The fans fire up as Knight then LARIATS Claudio up and out! The fans stay fired up as Knight builds speed, but Claudio slides into the ring for a LARIAT! Knight is down but Claudio stomps away! The fans boo but Claudio runs to ELBOW DROP! The fans boo but Claudio looms over Knight. Claudio drags Knight up, bumps him off buckles, but the fans rally for Knight.

Claudio CHOPS Knight, but Knight fires back with forearms and CHOPS! The fans rally, but Claudio scoops and SLAMS Knight right down! Claudio snarls, then he stomps Knight’s fingers! Claudio clamps on with a neck wrench but Knight endures. The fans rally as Knight pries at the hold. Claudio puts on the pressure but the fans rally up. Knight fights to his feet, fires body shots, but Claudio KNEES low! Claudio back suplexes but Knight lands out! Knight runs up, jumps up, springboard and FLYING ARM-DRAG! The fans fire up, Claudio runs up, but Knight TOSSES him up and out! The fans fire up as Knight aims, but Claudio drags him outside!

Claudio swings, misses, and Knight goes up the apron to LEAPING LARIAT! The fans fire up with Knight and he high-fives the front row, but Dynamite goes picture in picture.

Knight brings Claudio up and into the ring, then pushes him to a cover, TWO! Claudio is tougher than that but Knight nods as he goes to the corner. Knight climbs up, but Claudio trips him up! Claudio ROCKS Knight, then drags Knight up for a deadlift suplex! Claudio huffs ‘n’ puffs before he covers, TWO! Knight proves he’s tougher than that, but Claudio clamps on with a top wristlock! Knight endures as Claudio twists his arm! Knight reaches out, shifts around, and stands up to fire forearms! Claudio scoops to SLAM again! Claudio then runs the ropes for another ELBOW DROP! Cover, TWO!

Claudio argues the count but the count was fair. Claudio looms over Knight, then he clamps on the same top wristlock. Knight endures again, even clasping hands to fight the pressure. Spring Breakthru returns to single picture as Knight fights to his feet. Knight fires body shots, then forearms! Knight scoops but Claudio fights the lift! Claudio scoops to SLAM again! Claudio runs, but Knight avoids the elbow drop! Ghost pin, TWO! Knight hurries to Oklahoma Roll, TWO! Claudio UPPERCUTS Knight to the corner, then storms up for a whip. Knight goes up and over, slides and LEAPING LARIATS! Both men are down and the fans fire up!

Knight rises, he UPPERCUTS Claudio again and again, but Claudio takes a swing! Knight ducks once, but Claudio ROCKS him on the return! Claudio UPPERCUTS, runs, but Knight scoops! Knight SLAMS Claudio after all! The fans fire up for that feat of strength! Then Knight hits a UFO SPLASH! Cover, TWO! Claudio is still tougher than that, but Knight hurries after him. Claudio ROCKS Knight from the apron, goes up the corner, but Knight DROPKICKS him down! Knight then FLIES and wipes Claudio out at the ramp! The fans fire up again as Knight stands tall! Knight drags Claudio up and into the ring, then pounds the apron.

The fans know “This is Awesome!” as Knight runs in at Claudio. Claudio BOOTS Knight, then goes up, but Knight goes to the UPPER- NO! Claudio stops the rana, though he has to step off the corner. But then Claudio powers up to haul Knight back up the corner! The fans go nuts for the SUPER GOTCH NEUTRAL- NO, Knight sits up with core strength! Knight fires off fists, but Claudio throws him away! FLYING UPPERCUT!! Cover, TWO!! Knight survives and the fans are thunderous! Claudio seethes, but he drags Knight up, only for Knight to slip through! Knight kicks, Claudio blocks, and Claudio FLIPS Knight to the apron!

Knight ROCKS Claudio, springboards in, but into Claudio’s arms for a BACKBREAKER! Cover, TWO!! Knight survives again but Claudio drags him right up. Now Claudio has the Gotch hold, but Knight BACKDROPS! Claudio sunset flips it to have the legs for a GIANT SWING! The fans cheer as Knight goes around and around for FIVE, then Claudio steps through. Knight flails to fight it, so Claudio CATAPULTS Knight at the corner! Knight goes right up top! FLYING LARIAT! Knight hurries to climb again, and he takes aim for the MOTHERSHIP SPLASH!! Cover, KNIGHT WINS!

Winner: Kevin Knight, by pinfall (still AEW TNT Champion)

The Jet may have felt like an underdog champion, but he proved he is a rightful champion! Knight gets a mic to say, “Yo, yo, yo! Everett, Washington! Y’all miss me?” The fans cheer for that! Knight says shoutout to Claudio, by far one of the hardest hitting dudes, one of the strongest opponents Knight’s ever had. Give it up for Claudio. The fans do cheer Claudio, and Knight says he won’t let that stop him. The Jet is looking good, feeling even better, as your NEW TNT Champion, baby! The fans cheer for that, too. Knight says before he won this, he did lose the trios titles. Speedball, Knight knows you’re beating yourself up over that, but don’t take it personally, he doesn’t blame you.

And as they say, when one door closes, another one opens. Sometimes you gotta slow down to speed back up, and The Jet is riding high, baby! The fans cheer again, and Knight says tonight, there’s a big one with Darby Allin VS MJF for the AEW World Heavyweight Championship! And well, Knight will keep a close eye on that one, because #Jet2Belts sounds #2Fly! Knight is ready to add even more golden luggage to the flight log, but will his flight plan be headed for The Scumbag from Long Island? Or will it be the hometown hero in Darby Allin?

Renee Paquette is in the ring.

Spring Breakthru returns as she says to welcome the legendary Chris Jericho! The fans cheer as The Demo God, The Ayatollah of Rock ‘n’ Rolla, The Nueve, Y2J makes his entrance. Jericho gets pyro while he struts down the ramp and the fans sing along with Judas. Jericho joins Renee in the ring, and Renee says it is so good to see him, and the fans are sure happy to see him. Jericho fires the fans up more and they chant his name. Renee says maybe not everyone is happy, since last week, Ricochet came out here and said Jericho would be rusty. Clearly, from the match on Sunday, that is not the case. How did Jericho feel his first match back?

Jericho know show he feels being back in Everett, Washington tonight. But he feels so happy to be back in AEW. It was great to be back in the ring at Dynasty. One of his favorite matches in a long time, in front of a great crowd. Even though Jericho lost, he didn’t loss because of rust or overexcitement, it was because he was outnumbered 3v1. The fans agree with that. Jericho still gives credit where credit is due, congrats to Ricochet for probably the biggest win- Oh, well, Ricochet makes his way out here, The Gates of Agony by his side. Ricochet has a mic to tell the fans to sit down, shut up, and listen! The fans chant “BALD!” instead.

Ricochet then tells Jericho that he meant every single word when he said he respects Jericho. And after that valiant performance at Dynasty, Ricochet respects Jericho even more. But Jericho didn’t listen to Ricochet at all, did he? No, he signed his contract and got himself hurt, just like Ricochet said Jericho would. And on top of that, Ricochet had to do it! The opportunity was in the palm of his hand, so he had to take Jericho out with his own move, the Lionsault! Or what will be renamed “The Ricosault.” The fans boo that idea, but Ricochet says he gives Jericho credit, Jericho didn’t completely embarrass himself. He did pretty good, but just not good enough to overcome the rise of Ricochet.

The fans tell Ricochet to STFU, but he says he’ll be out here all night if he wants! But as he was saying, Jericho wasn’t good enough to beat Ricochet, so maybe do yourself a favor and quite now while you’re ahead. Well, unless… Jericho is the king of reinvention. The Lionheart, the guy in the suits with the big words, the Demo God, the light up jacket, we’ve seen it all! So here’s an idea: Jericho becomes the guy who gets his ass beat by The Demand every single week he shows up! The fans boo again, but Ricochet says the fans must like that idea. Jericho can stick around after all and have the best run of his entire career!

Jericho asks Renee to please step aside. Jericho says first off, “The Ricosault?” That’s brutally bad. Secondly, bald. The fans chant “BALD!” But Jericho appreciates Ricochet coming out here, bald, and giving him some insight, because Jericho really respects Ricochet’s opinions, bald. The fans cheer and laugh, but Jericho continues by saying he knows what the game is here, weird shaped head. Ricochet is on stage with his goons, dumb and ugly, and they’re gonna back Ricochet up no matter what it is he says or does, bald. So here’s a proposition for you, bald. Why not leave his goons, dumb and ugly, on the stage, come on down here, bald, and face Jericho 1v1 right here in Everett, BALD!?

The fans fire up for that idea, but Ricochet says don’t think he doesn’t see what Jericho’s doing! He knows what Ricochet’s saying! Jericho doesn’t get to call Ricochet bald, and he’s not afraid to face Jericho 1v1! Well, Jericho feels Ricochet is too scared, and bald, to come down here. Ricochet says fine! Liona, Kaun, stay up here, and no matter what, let Ricochet handle this 1v1. Do not help him no matter what, understand? Ricochet drops the mic, takes off the jacket and the vest, and so does Jericho. Ricochet rushes the ring, Jericho dodges him, and then HIP TOSS! Jericho runs, and he LARIATS! The fans fire up but Ricochet waves to his guys!

Jericho stomps away, GOA run in, but Jericho fires hands! That’s still 3v1, so much for Ricochet honoring the deal! The fans boo, but The Demand let off, only for Jericho to go after them again! Jericho gets mugged again, then they CLOSE THE GATES on Jericho! The fans boo harder but then Ricochet gets an idea. LIONSAULT! The fans boo again, but now The Demand stand tall. Will Jericho have to go back to the drawing board to gameplan a way to defeat Bald, Dumb & Ugly?

AEW shares more footage from after Dynasty.

Renee Paquette found Don Callis & Kazuchika Okada to ask them what happened out there against The Young Bucks. Callis says what happened was that there was a 2v1 situation, two Bucks, one Rainmaker! But then Callis spots Takeshita and confronts him. What happened? The Alpha says that was an accident. Oops. He’s so sorry~! Takeshita mocks Okada, Okada throws his armbands at Takeshita, then insults him in Japanese. Callis says it’s okay, they’re not done, they’ll work this out. But is Callis the one who needs to work out that things aren’t okay in the Don Callis Family?

Will Ospreay VS Hechicero!

The Aerial Assassin told Kenny Omega to keep his chin up, and surely Ospreay is taking his own advice. Will the #BillyGOAT get back on the horse by taking down the CMLL World Heavyweight Champion? Or will the Alchemist of Lucha simply add insult to injury?

But wait, Don Callis makes his entrance. Callis says he has something important to say. And in his horrible Espanol, Callis says, “Todos los personas del Everett, Washington that is muy, muy stupido, from the great country of Mexico…! Es un cabra muy super intendoooooooo~! YO! SOY! HE-CHI-CEROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO~!” So it’s been how long and no one has told Don he gets that wrong? That aside, Hechi makes his entrance with new music and more pyro. The bell rings and the fans fire up for Ospreay. Ospreay and Hechi feel things out, tie up, and Hechi puts Ospreay on the ropes. The fans sing “OSPREAY~ OSPREAY OSPREAY OSPREAY~!” while the ref counts.

Hechi and Ospreay go along the ropes, but the ref counts again. Hechi grabs a leg, sweeps the other, then keeps on Ospreay with a toehold. Ospreay grabs at Hechi but Hechi knuckle locks that hand. Hechi ties Ospreay up in a modified figure four, but Ospreay fights up into headscissors! Ospreay hits a twisting rana and has Hechi down! Hechi kicks Ospreay away, Ospreay goes to a corner, and Callis joins commentary, even as fans cuss him out. Osperay and Hechi reset, feel things out, and Ospreay goes for a leg. Hechi steps over, rolls Ospreay, but Ospreay slips around to get the arm. Hechi rolls Ospreay again, TWO!

Hechi has the legs, he turns Ospreay around, and then pulls hair to bend the neck! The ref counts, Hechi lets go, and Hechi hooks Ospreay up into a cradle, TWO! Ospreay hits a headlock takeover, but Hechi headscissors back. Ospreay fights around, hops around, and he handsprings through! The fans cheer, but then the neck and shoulder bother Ospreay. Hechi BLINDSIDE DROPKICKS Ospreay down! Hechi shows off with drop steps while the fans are torn. Hechi stomps Ospreay, CLUBS him, then CHOPS! Ospreay hobbles away but Hechi whips Ospreay to ropes. Ospreay ducks ‘n’ dodges to RANA! The fans fire up while Hechi bails out!

Ospreay gets the fans to join in with “OI! OI! OI!” then he goes to the ropes. Ospreay PLANCHAS and brings Hechi down! The fans fire up as Ospreay stands tall while Dynamite goes picture in picture.

Ospreay shakes out his arm, then he stomps Hechi. Ospreay stands Hechi up, throws him into railing, then CHOPS him to the corner. Ospreay ROCKS Hechi, then brings him around, only for Hechi to fire body shots. Ospreay fires back with forearms and UPPERCUTS. They go around the way before Ospreay puts Hechi in the corner. Ospreay warns Callis and even Lance Archer, then he BOOTS Hechi down. Ospreay leads fans in taunting Callis, then he bumps Hechi off buckles. Ospreay climbs up and he rains down fists! Ospreay goes all the way to TEN, but Hechi lifts him off the corner! Ospreay fights free, and WHEEL KICKS Hechi down!

Ospreay drags Hechi around, steps through, and has the FIGURE FOUR! Ospreay shows he can do technical wrestling, too! Hechi endures, even as Ospreay puts on the pressure. Hechi CLUBS the leg, twists the foot, but Ospreay puts on more pressure! Hechi reaches out, and makes the ROPEBREAK! Ospreay lets Hechi go, then stomps him down. Ospreay steps through on the spinning toehold! Ospreay ELBOWS Hechi down, then stalks him to ropes. Spring Breakthru returns to single picture as Hechi fires a body shot, but Ospreay fires a forearm! They trade shots, and Ospreay spots Marina Shafir in the crowd.

Ospreay warns The Problem, but Marina says she’s just here to watch. Ospreay whips but Hechi reverses to duck the kick, and pump handle Ospreay into a modified abdominal stretch! Hechi then scoops Ospreay, but Ospreay slips free and waistlocks. Hechi switches, Ospreay switches, repeat! Hechi hammerlocks and swings Ospreay around, MAD SCIENTIST BACKBREAKER! Hechi then shoves Ospreay to a corner and JUMP KNEES in the back! The fans are torn while Ospreay falls, and Marina acts unimpressed. Hechi covers, TWO! Ospreay grits his teeth as he rises up but Hechi stomps him. Hechi then BOOTS Ospreay to the ropes.

Hechi whips and SPINEBUSTERS Ospreay, then steps through for the spinning toehold! Hechi then steps over to TWIST Ospreay’s arm! Then Hechi pushes Ospreay down for the NECK TWIST! The fans boo but Hechi runs to WERCK Ospreay with the dropkick! Ospreay is on the floor and Marina chuckles. Hechi puts Ospreay in the ring, then hooks up the legs. Hechi CLUBS Ospreay to get the arms, and then he pulls Ospreay back, up, and away! ROMERO SPECIAL! The fans rally as Ospreay endures, but Hechi pulls hair! The ref reprimands, Hechi THROWS Ospreay away, and Hechi stomps Ospreay around.

Hechi CLUBS Ospreay, Ospreay ROCKS Hechi again and again. Hechi KNEES low, then whips, but Ospreay handsprings to NEURALIZER KICK! The fans fire up while both men are down! Ospreay goes to the apron, springboards back in, PIP PIP CHEERIO! Cover, TWO! Hechi survives, but Ospreay sets up for a STANDING SKY TWISTER! Cover, TWO! Hechi survives but Ospreay stays calm. The fans rally for Ospreay, he reels Hechi in, but Hechi resists. Ospreay fires Kawada Kicks, then a CHOP! Hechi roars and eggs Ospreay on! Hechi even brings down the straps! Ospreay nods, but Hechi blocks a chop, then ducks the rest!

The fans cheer as Hechi kicks low, then whips. Ospreay handsprings the hip toss to ENZIGIRI! Hechi goes to a corner, Ospreay runs up, but Hechi hits the HEADSCISSOR GUILLOTINE! Ospreay writhes but Hechi covers, ROPEBREAK! Callis is furious but that’s a fair, legal move! Hechi rains down fists while Callis distracts the ref with the arguing! The ref reprimands them all, Hechi stops, and the ref wants Doc Sampson to check this. The fans cuss out Callis and boo Hechi while Dynamite goes picture in picture.

Doc checks Ospreay, but Marina shakes her head. Hechi puts the straps back up, and Doc checks Ospreay’s arm and shoulder. Ospreay grits his teeth as he manages to stand, but that pain brings him back to his knees. Hechi DROPKICKS Ospreay in the head! The ref reprimands but Hechi drags Ospreay out. Hechi fireman’s carries and hits SNAKE EYES off the barriers! Ospreay falls, now clutching his chin and neck area. Marina feigns concern as the ref has Hechi back off while Doc checks Ospreay again. Ospreay sits up again, perhaps too stubborn about this, but Hechi BOOTS him! Ospreay flounders into the ring but Hechi is right after him!

Hechi clamps on a headscissors squeeze, and he throws down elbows and fists on Ospreay’s head! Ospreay endures, even as Hechi grabs an arm and bends the fingers! Hechi CLUBS Ospreay again and again, but Ospreay manages the ROPEBREAK! Hechi lets Ospreay go, but then scuffs him and kicks him around. Hechi drags Ospreay up, wrenches the arm, and reels Ospreay into a COBRA TWIST! Spring Breakthru returns to single picture while Ospreay endures. Ospreay fights free, fires hands, then runs, only for Hechi to HOTSHOT him into the SLEEPER! The ref counts but Hechi lets go at 4. Hechi argues with the ref, but Ospreay runs back in!

Hechi DUMPS Ospreay out, then builds speed to FLY! Down goes Ospreay at the ramp! The fans fire up with Hechi and he puts Ospreay in the ring. Hechi goes up, up, and casts his spell as he hits the BLINDSIDE FLYING LARIAT! Cover, TWO!! Ospreay survives and the fans fire up again! Hechi suplexes, but into STUN-DOG MILLIONAIRE! Callis says that was good, but the arm doesn’t look good. Ospreay runs up on Hechi, but Hedchi BOOTS him away! Hechi goes up, but Ospreay tucks him in! CHEEKY NANDOS! And then a Canadian Rack, but Hechi fights free! Small package, but Ospreay tips it over! Hechi tips it back, TWO!!

Both men stand, Hechi runs up, but Ospreay catches him to a backslide, TWO! Both men stand again, but Ospreay dodges to HOOK KICK! Ospreay then calls his shot, and he springboards, OSC- NO! Hechi stops the cutter, DOUBLE PUMP HANDLE FLIP! Then the REVERSE MONKEY FLIP! ARMBAR!! Hechi CLUBS away on Ospreay before he pulls that arm! Ospreay fights around, stacks to a cover, ONE! TRIANGLE HOLD! Ospreay just powers up to deadlift Hechi, but Hechi drags him back down! Ospreay endures the Triangle Hold, rolls back up, and powers up enough for a STYLES CLASH!! The fans are thunderous as Ospreay rises again!

Ospreay aims, for HIDDEN BLADE!! Cover, Ospreay wins!!

Winner: Will Ospreay, by pinfall

Callis says fine, on to Plan B! What does that mean? Callis says you’ll just have to wait and see. Ospreay stares Marina down, seemingly wanting her to send a message to Moxley. But wait, MARK DAVIS LARIATS OSPREAY DOWN! Plan B is more like Plan D, as in Dunkzilla! COUNT TO PAIN!! The piledriver takes Ospreay down! Will #DangerousDavis prove to be hazardous for Ospreay’s health?

Renee Paquette is on stage.

She says this has been an incredible night for Spring Breakthru, but then Thekla immediately interrupts from… somewhere… with a whiny, mocking, “No~, niet~, nein~!” The Toxic Spider creeps in from up in the crowd, and she tells Renee that Renee looks good tonight. But not a single person here paid to see Renee flap her lips, when the Toxic Spider is in the house! The fans do cheer Thekla, and she says she just wanted to remind everybody that she marched into Dynasty THE AEW Women’s World Champion, and she defeated the great Jamie Hayter. “I beat her ass good!” And then she walked out still the champion.

Y’all better get used to that! Because this industry is filled with nothing but dumb b*tches! But then Alex Windsor storms out on stage to interrupt Thekla! “Did you really think I was gonna let you say that you actually beat Jamie Hayter? No, no, no, and I’m certainly not gonna let you waltz around tonight when I should beat the piss out of you right bloody now!” Thekla says wow, wow, wow. She says the word “dumb b*tch,” and one magically appears! Why is Alex so angry? Don’t blame Thekla that Alex’s best friend lost, or that her husband lost for that matter. Alex tells Thekla that she’s forgetting she’s not the only champion.

You are looking at THE NJPW Strong Women’s Champion, Alex WINDSAAA~! The fans cheer, and Alex asks if Thekla wonders what they say about her in Japan. What do they say in Japan? They don’t call Thekla a champ, they call her the girl who was stupid enough to get herself fired! Oi, oi, oi, mate, chill yer balls, oi! Thekla didn’t get fired. Well, okay, she did. BUT…! Only because they couldn’t handle her, just like no one in AEW can handle Thekla! Oh, nobody can handle Thekla? Okay, alright. Windsor gets in the ring, and says she’ll handle Thekla right now! How about NO~! Alexa says fine, champ, have it your way.

How about Thekla puts that lovely title on the line, and Alex will meet Thekla back here on Collision? Alright, Thekla likes that. But then The Sisters of Sin rush in from outta nowhere! But Alex HEADBUTTS Skye and LARIATS Julia! So much for that sneak attack! Thekla still smiles, then hurries off before Alex can rush the crowd! Will Thekla take out both Brawling Birds in the same week? Or will Alex make herself a double champion?

The Death Riders speak.

Jon Moxley says he actually likes surprises. Someone like Will Ospreay, who he’s known and studied for a long time, doesn’t surprise him. Marina Shafir walks in and Moxley asks how Ospreay looked. Rough? Green around the gills? Oh, yeah. Maybe Moxley has a talent for seeing exactly how all the dominos fall, maybe he just gets lucky, or maybe he just pays more attention. But Ospreay showed Moxley his cards, they were on the table, so don’t get mad at Moxley. Contrary to popular belief, Moxley doesn’t take pleasure in the suffering of others. Though, there can be beauty in it. Moxley prefers life over death, light over darkness, but you don’t get one without the other.

What was that kid’s name again? Nick Wayne. Right, tomorrow is the biggest night of Nick’s life. Continental Championship Eliminator on Collision. Moxley doesn’t know much about Nick, so please, please, surprise him. But this is Continental Rules, adult stuff, for grownups. So please, leave Mommy in the back. Will The Prodigy prove he can man up and do things on his own? Or will Moxley just add him to the long list of names of those who can’t keep up?

AEW TBS Championship: Willow Nightingale VS Kamille!

The Babe with the Power wanted an Open Challenge for Dynasty, but the American Gladiator took a cheap shot as her way of saying hello, she’s back! Willow has had time to prepare for her payback, but will she have it? Or will the “Comeback Killer” be the one taken out tonight?

The introductions are made, the belt is raised, and we see if the Face of TBS will still be smiling!

Kamille tries another cheap shot but Willow dodges! The bell rings as Willow fires forearms on Kamille and backs her into the corner! Willow fires shot after shot, stops as the ref counts, then bumps Kamille off buckles. Willow brings Kamille around, Kamille turns things around, but Willow blocks the buckle bump to SMACK Kamille off buckles again! Willow dribbles Kamille off buckles again and again, and Kamille staggers around. The fans cheer as Willow brings Kamille back around, but Kamille shoves her away. Kamille BOOTS the bad arm, then wrenches the arm to YANK it! The fans rally for Willow but Kamille whips her into a corner.

Kamille runs up but Willow dodges! Willow LARIATS again and again in the corner! The fans count, Willow goes to nine, then short arm- NO, Kamille BOOTS the bad arm again! Kamille snarls as she wrenches the arm and ELBOW BREAKERS! Then a wrench and YANK! Kamille clamps on and CLUBS away on the bad arm! Willow fires body shots, but Kamille YANKS the arm again! Willow goes back to a corner, but Kamille runs up, only for Willow to BOOT her! Kamille snarls, runs up again, but Willow puts her on the apron. Kamille blocks a shot to HOTSHOT the arm! Willow staggers away, Kamille storms up, but Willow CHOPS! CHOPS! CHOPS!

Willow CHOPS in the corner, then fires up with the fans. Willow whips but Kamille blocks it! The bad arm jams, and Kamille WRINGS it out! The fans boo but Kamille soaks it up, and she clamps onto the arm as Dynamite goes picture in picture.

Kamille drops KNEE after KNEE on the arm, then pushes Willow to a cover, TWO! Willow toughs it out but Kamille clamps onto the arm again. Kamille whips Willow into the corner, then wraps the arm around the ropes. The ref counts while Willow suffers, but Kamille stops at 4. Kamille stalks Willow, stands her up, but Willow fires body shots. Kamille CLUBS Willow down, then drags her out to the apron. Kamille SLAMS the bad arm off the apron, then she soaks up the heat. Kamille mocks Willow’s bad arm, then goes back to the ring. Kamille clamps onto the arm but Willow fires body shots. Kamille pushes Willow down to Oklahoma Roll, TWO!

Kamille storms back up, but Willow cradles Kamille! TWO, and both women stand. Kamille wrenches the arm for the ARMBAR DDT! Willow writhes but Kamille covers, TWO! Kamille argues the count, then clamps on with a chinlock. Kamille shifts to an armlock, then ELBOWS away on the arm. Willow fight sup but Kamille CLUBS her back down! Kamille looms over Willow, but Willow kicks from below. Kamille clamps onto the arm again, and with a top wristlock! Willow endures, fights up, and fights around, to then fire body shots! Kamille CLUBS the bad arm again, then CLUBS Willow back down!

Spring Breakthru returns to single picture as Willow whips Kamille away. Kamille goes up, out, and slides under to roll willow up. But Willow avoids the boot to LARIAT! Willow runs to LARIAT again! Willow runs but Kamille LARIATS! Willow rebounds to LARIAT Kamille down! Kamille hurries to her feet while the fans cheer, but Willow dodges Kamille to POUNCE! PERIOD! Kamille flops around while the fans rally behind Willow! Willow runs to CANNONBALL! Willow drags Kamille to the cover, TWO! Kamille survives but Willow stays focused. Willow shakes the bad arm, drags Kamille back up, and reels her in!

Willow gut wrenches, but the bad arm holds her back! Kamille hits a FACEBUSTER! Kamille then goes to the corner, runs up on Willow, and hits the ROUGH RYDER! Cover, TWO!! Willow survives but Kamille stays right on her. Kamille fireman’s carries, but Willow sunset flips! Kamille stomps Willow to then drop a leg on the arm! Then she steps over and drops into the ARMBAR! The fans rally for Willow as she endures, but Kamille stomps Willow into breaking the grip! But Willow high stacks, TWO! Kamille stands, wrenches, and she WRINGS the arm again! Willow writhes but Kamille keeps after her!

Kamille scoops Willow, but Willow slips free! Willow shoves Kamille into buckles, backslides her, WILLOW WINS!!

Winner: Willow Nightingale, by pinfall (still AEW TBS Champion)

Another match, another night where Willow snatches victory from the jaws of defeat! Another comeback killed, and we cut backstage to see Kris Statlander & Hikaru Shida applauding. Shida congratulates their great friend on another great victory. Doesn’t Stat agree? Shida interrupts Kris before she can even start, going on in Japanese, then goes back to English to say that last Saturday, Shida & Stat made a great team! Two AEW Originals! Kris keeps wanting to talk but Shida seems to compliment herself in Japanese. Shida says they will keep it going on Collision tomorrow night! She can’t wait! So, see you there, Kris!

Shida leaves before Kris can say anything, but will actions speak louder than words when The Galaxy’s Greatest & The Shining Samurai step back into the ring?

Backstage interview with Darby Allin.

Renee walks ‘n’ talks with the #1 contender, and says this is it: AEW World Championship. The stakes don’t get higher than this. Any last words before he goes out there? Darby wants to say something, but STING is there to see him off! “You ready?” Darby nods and says, “You got anything for me?” Sting says no, Darby already knows what to do, he just has to get out there and do it. Darby nods and fist bumps Sting. It’s showtime. No, not showtime, it’s YOUR TIME, Darby! Now, go take it. The Icon seeds Darby off, are we about to have a Relentless AEW World Champion?

AEW World Championship: MJF VS Darby Allin!

Spring Breakthru returns from one last commercial break, and it IS time! The introductions are made, the belt is raised, and ready or not, Dynamite is about to end with an instant classic!

The bell rings and the fans fire up for Darby as he stares down with MJF. Darby rises slowly while MJF is already moving with some anxious energy. The fans chant, “F him up, Darby, F him up!” Darby and MJF circle, but then MJF says timeout! The fans boo, there’s no timeouts in this kind of match! MJF says he forgot about the Dynamite Diamond Ring! MJF takes it out and hands it to Aubrey Edwards. Aubrey puts the ring aside, but MJF LOW BLOWS Darby! The fans boo as MJF still uses the diamond ring as an advantage! MJF then headlocks, and he calls the takeover. But Darby SHOVES MJF at Aubrey!

Aubrey shields herself in the ropes, but then Darby LOW BLOWS MJF!! The fans go nuts as MJF tastes karma, and then he gets a SCORPION DEATH DROP!! Darby goes up top, for a COFFIN DROP!! Then another COFFIN DROP!! The fans are thunderous and Darby is all fired up! Darby makes sure MJF is in place for a THIRD COFFIN DROP!! MJF scrambles around but Darby puts him in another drop zone! A FOURTH COFFIN DROP!! Seattle is erupting as Darby hits the headlock takeover! Cover, DARBY WINS!!!

Winner: Darby Allin, by pinfall (NEW AEW World Champion)

Seattle EXPLODES with celebration! Because yes, Darby didn’t just win, he didn’t just win with a headlock takeover, he won to become THE AEW World Champion!! The locker room hurries out here to celebrate, from The Conglomeration to The Rascalz to The Outrunners, Brodido, JetSpeed, and The Young Bucks! Confetti flies as the pyro goes off on stage! Darby stands tall in his hometown, family and friends here to see it with their own eyes! And of course, IT’S STIIIING~! Sting howls in celebration for Darby and the fans join in! The blood, the glass, the fire, the climb, not just up Mount Everest but in AEW, it was ALL worth it! Will AEW be all in on Darby Allin?

My Thoughts:

An awesome Dynamite to not just be Spring Breakthru but to follow Dynasty. I loved how they played this with MJF and Darby Allin. MJF didn’t pay attention to anything, not even texts and calls form AEW, the entire time he was celebrating his win over Omega, so of course Darby’s challenge caught him off-guard. Now granted, I thought MJF VS Darby was going to be the main event from the start, but Bryan Danielson getting to give that news was a nice way to bring him into this. I know AEW doesn’t like to copy WWE, but there should be a GM to make these decisions. That said, I also love how they played the main event. The takeover as the pinfall was perfect, given the history between Darby and MJF, and what a great moment for Darby to celebrate with all the Faces, Sting included.

Great match from Ciampa VS Dez, and Ciampa wanting right at the top works just fine for him. Ciampa never got to be top champ on WWE main roster, or even compete for it, but he’ll make a great AEW main eventer. Great TNT Championship match from Knight VS Claudio, great win for Knight, and maybe not surprisingly, he again throws his hat into the world title picture. I feel like challengers for the TNT title should be keeping him busy instead, but maybe Ciampa VS Knight establishes a clear contender going into Double or Nothing. Great TBS Championship match from Willow VS Kamille, and Willow getting another win via backslide is good story. Her arm is bad, Kamille is tough, a quick pin teases they could do this again for Double or Nothing.

Very good promo from Kris & Shida right after the TBS title, even with it being Shida talking nonstop and Kris left uncertain about the team-up. They’ll surely win their match on Collision but I feel like the team is already going to fall apart and set up a match that sends one of them after a title. Thekla and Windsor had a very good promo, and setting up a Women’s World Championship match is great stuff. I would think Thekla cheats another win, or at least tries. Jamie Hayter could back Windsor up, only for the Sisters of Sin to complicate things. Not sure what the title match for Double or Nothing is going to be, though…

Great promo from Omega and Ospreay, great match from Ospreay VS Hechicero. It was a little scary when Doc was checking Ospreay’s neck, but maybe that was just them playing up the injury for story. And with Don Callis Family picking on Ospreay again, I wonder if Omega backs Ospreay up and they have another team-up, but against Don Callis Family. Though, that feels like rehashing old material when you think about it. Moxley had a good promo, and pretty clear he’ll beat Nick Wayne, but there might be more with Death Riders and Ospreay. I wonder if there’s a possibility of a Triple Threat Tag, Omega & Ospreay VS Moxley & Claudio VS Mark Davis & Hechicero, just so all stories can be told at once.

And very good stuff with Jericho and The Demand. Another hilarious and brilliant promo from Jericho, but of course he gets beat up 3v1. Again, Jericho either gets another faction going, reunites an old one, or at least has a team-up with someone who also dislikes The Demand. But in the end, we know this will result in Ricochet VS Jericho 1v1 again, Jericho gets his win back, and that compels a tiebreaker. Not exactly the Jericho Vortex but it’s not not the Jericho Vortex.

My Score: 9/10
