Darby Allin VS Jay Lethal w/ Satnam Singh & Sonjay Dutt!

The Relentless One doesn’t care who it is that knows his supposed weakness, he’s taking Jay Lethal on head-on! But will we find out just who this “old friend” who knows them both so well?

Darby rushes Lethal as he makes his entrance! Fans fire up as they brawl at the ramp! Lethal RAMS Darby into the apron, DECKS him, then clears the media out of the way to TOSS Darby over the timekeeper’s table! But Darby’s right back up and he LEAPS onto Lethal! Darby rains down hands, puts Lethal in the ring, and then slides in. The bell rings and Darby CROSSBODIES Lethal into ropes, tumbling out of the ring himself! Darby drags Lethal out to RAM into railing as Sonjay & Satnam finally catch up to Lethal. Darby slides back in the ring, builds speed, but Satnam stands in the way!

Darby slides out, goes around Satnam, but Lethal hits a hard body shot! Lethal brings Darby around, ROCKS him, then hits a monkey flip! But Darby lands on his feet! But he can’t stop his momentum enough, he still hits steel steps! Darby falls over, Lethal refreshes the count, and he stalks Darby to the railing. Lethal drags Darby under the railing, and then recreates that Figure Four with the garage door! Darby endures and the ref counts, Lethal lets off at 4! Lethal goes back to the ring while Darby crawls out of the railing. Fans boo but Lethal soaks up the heat. Sonjay mocks Darby as Darby hobbles into the ring.

Lethal stomps Darby to the apron as fans rally up. Darby drags himself up with the ropes, Lethal runs in, but Darby elbows him back! And then boots, only for Lethal to block! Lethal puts that leg on the ropes to STOMP the knee! And then APRON GERMAN SUPLEX! Darby flops to the floor and Lethal grins as AEW goes picture in picture.

Sonjay talks up Lethal while the ref checks Darby. Darby writhes but he’s still in this. Lethal just waits as Darby slowly drags himself up again. Lethal goes out to the steel steps and drags Darby up to fireman’s carry. Lethal gives Darby SNAKE EYES to the steps! Darby falls back but Lethal puts him in the ring to cover, TWO! Lethal pushes Darby down again, TWO! Lethal stomps the bad ribs, drags Darby up and whips him to ropes. Lethal FLAPJACKS Darby, and Darby almost lands on his head! Cover, TWO!! Darby is still in this but Lethal keeps on him with knees to the back! Lethal drops knee after knee, then ties Darby’s legs up.

Lethal pulls Darby back but Darby gets the ROPEBREAK! Lethal lets off at 4, drags Darby up and brings him around, to hit an atomic BACKBREAKER! Fans rally up for Darby but Lethal pretends not to hear them. Lethal puts Darby in a cobra twist! Darby endures, even as Lethal punches him in the ribs, and still Darby reaches out to a ROPEBREAK! Lethal lets off, brings Darby around, but Darby fights the back suplex with a headlock and punches. Dynamite returns to single picture as Lethal CLUBS Darby in return. Lethal tries again, but Darby fishhooks the nose! Lethal throws Darby away, Darby lands on his feet, and ducks ‘n’ dodges to COFFIN SPLASH!

Fans rally, Darby runs in at the corner, but into KNEES! Lethal thwarts a second Coffin Splash, and he brings Darby in for a dragon sleeper. Lethal hooks the leg, FISHERMAN FACEBUSTER! Fans applaud that unique modification, and now Lethal goes to the corner. Fans boo as Lethal climbs up, MACHO ELBOW into a GHOST PIN! TWO!! Lethal escapes but Darby sweeps! Cover, ONE as Lethal goes Matrix! Lethal handsprings, into a body scissors! Darby has the SLEEPER!! Lethal flails but he’s caught! Lethal manages to turn over and stand, but Darby squeezes tight! Lethal stands, and he RAMS Darby into buckles! Darby still holds on!

Lethal is fading, but he RAMS Darby into buckles again! Fans duel as Lethal is fading! Lethal stands again, and goes back, but Darby sends him into buckles! THROWBACK STUNNER! Lethal falls over and Darby sees his chance! Fans fire up as Darby goes to a corner and climbs! Darby reaches the top but Lethal bails out of the ring. Fans boo but Darby hops down. Satnam is in the way again and he dares Darby to try. Darby builds speed, to DIVE! He bounces off Satnam!! Fans lose their minds, but then the ref EJECTS Satnam & Sonjay! Sonjay & Satnam are furious, and Lethal tries to reason with the ref.

But then someone cosplaying Sting attacks Darby with a baseball bat!! That can’t be the real Sting, right? Lethal hits a LETHAL INJECTION on Darby!! Cover, Lethal wins!

Winner: Jay Lethal, by pinfall

It took all the tricks in the book and a totally fake Sting, but Lethal ties up the series with Darby! Lethal and his friends hug Cole Karter! The Factory’s Cole Karter helped Lethal take out Darby, and now he helps them stomp Darby! But wait! Here’s the REAL STING!! The music is playing, the lights are blue, Lethal, Karter, Sonjay & Satnam hurry to the ramp, but someone gets in the ring behind Darby! That’s not Sting, or even a fake Sting, it’s JEFF JARRETT! And he gives Darby a SMASH HIT!! Double J gets the mic to tell Darby, “You just got a lesson from the Last Outlaw. You ask what that lesson is. Darby, whatever you worship, it becomes your weakness.

“Yeah, look at that pool of blood.” Oh, wow, there is quite a bit of blood from the back of Darby’s head. But Jarrett says that since Darby idolizes Sting, Sting has become Darby’s weakness. “And now that I’ve got Darby Allin outta the way, I’ve got a message not only for the entire AEW roster, not only for you, Schiavone, and the other clowns that you have up there with you,” and maybe the cameraman, too! For every bozo in production, this goes for you, too! But most importantly, this goes “to the insane, the rabid, the delusional AEW fanbase.” Jarrett’s family got into this business back in 1946. That means for over 75 YEARS, three generations, wherever the Jarretts went, they left an impact.

Jarrett is a two-time Hall of Famer, a 12 time world champion, and he assures you from day one- Fans chant “You Still Suck!” Jarrett says from day one, his fingerprints, his father’s fingerprints, his grandmother’s fingerprints, Mrs. Christine Jarrett, have been all over AEW! But Jarrett assures us, before he’s done with this place, there will be full body bags! “Choke on that, slap nuts!” The Last Outlaw fires the first shot against Darby, Sting, and all of AEW, but will he, Lethal and the rest run roughshod?

Jon Moxley speaks.

“AEW Dynamite live, I love that energy, that electricity here in Baltimore, Maryland. I can’t get enough of it. It’s a drug I love. And this is just another night for me, but for young Mr. Lee Moriarty, this is the biggest night of his life. A World Title Eliminator, he has the chance to change his fortunes forever, if he can get the job done tonight. All he has to do tonight is rely on his talents, his athleticism, his skills, of which there are many.

“Maybe Lee Moriarty feels a little snubbed by the Blackpool Combat Club. But hey, that’s not true, we didn’t snub you. I actually really like you a lot. But me and Danielson just decided you’re just not mean enough. You’re just not quite nasty enough. You’re just not quite… violent enough for the BCC, just yet. But we’re not going to leave you out in the cold. After all, we’re teachers. Tonight, I’m going to give you a lesson in pain and perseverance when I back you into a corner like a wild animal and make you fight your way out.

“You’re gonna have to dig down deep, into your guts, in that place where bad intentions that we don’t like to talk about lie. And there’s only one way out, Lee. And that’s through me. So if you’ve got any, uh, unrequited anger or angst or revenge boiling somewhere deep down in your body, maybe you got picked on when you were in high school, something like that, now would be the time to bring it to the surface. I want you to be mean, I want you to be nasty, I want you to be violent. I ain’t got time for anything else!” The AEW World Champion is daring #TAIGASTYLE to bare his fangs, will this come back to bite him?

Someone is editing AEW history.

Kenny Omega & The Young Bucks win the AEW World Trios Championships at All Out, only for someone to stop it there, and replace it with Death Triangle’s win the next Dynamite. And then, The Elite is replaced on the posters with Death Triangle. How can All Elite Wrestling be that without The Elite?

AEW World Title Eliminator: Jon Moxley VS Lee Moriarty w/ Stokely Hathaway!

The Maniac knows he has Maxwell Jacob Friedman at Full Gear, but he has some business to take care of with The Firm after they jumped him. Will Moxley put all that to bed here and have a clear path to New Jersey? Or can Moriarty take advantage of a sore and distracted champion?

Ethan Page joins commentary to watch Lee “smack around the champion.” The bell rings, Moriarty has his dukes up as he circles with Moxley. Stokely smiles while Moxley writhes and gets to the apron. Moriarty hurries to run and baseball slide Moxley out of the ring! Moriarty then goes out, hoists Moxley up, and hammerlocks before the scoop and SLAM to the floor! Moriarty soaks up the heat, Stokely talks some smack, and Moriarty refreshes the count. But Moxley CHOPS! Moriarty hits the bad arm, uppercuts, then whips Moxley into the steel steps! Moxley writhes, clutching that arm, but Stokely pats Moriarty on the back. Moxley gets in the ring, Moriarty follows and UPPERCUTS in the corner. Moriarty digs his boot in, the ref counts and Moriarty lets off.

Moriarty soaks up more heat as he lightly bounces on his feet. Moriarty drags Moxley up, wrenches the arm, and UPPERCUTS the shoulder! And again! Moriarty whips to WRING Moxley out, and he drops a leg on the arm! Moriarty scissors the arm, drops an elbow on the elbow, and Stokely applauds. Fans rally for Moxley and he CHOPS, ROCKS and ROCKS Moriarty again! Moxley reels Moriarty in, but Moriarty back drops! Moxley sunset flips but Moriarty rolls through to PENALTY KICK! Cover, TWO! Moxley fires boxing elbows, whips, but Moriarty BOOTS Moxley away. Moriarty springboards for a FLYING FOREARM! Then a HALF HATCH! Bridging cover, TWO! Moriarty rains down elbows and forearms on Moxley! Moriarty talks trash on Moxley, and he knuckle locks the hands for DRAGON STOMPS! Fans boo but Moxley is fighting his way up! Fans fire up as Moxley and Moriarty are forehead to forehead!

Moxley ROCKS Moriarty with a forearm, Moriarty returns it, but they both keep the knuckle locks! Moxley throws more forearms, then he flips Moriarty over the back to get free and LARIAT! Moxley crawls to the cover, ONE, but Moxley has the knuckle locks again! Fans fire up as Moxley gives Moriarty DRAGON STOMPS! Moxley drags Moriarty up for DEATH- NO, Moriarty fights that, wrenches and TWEAKS the arm! Moriarty wrenches, hammerlocks, but Moxley spins through to CUTTER! Cover, TWO!! Ethan breathes easier on commentary but Moxley crawls after Moriarty again.

Fans rally and Moxley dares Moriarty to bring it. Moriarty throws forearms but Moxley just takes them! Moxley eggs him on, then he SLAPS Moriarty! Moriarty is wobbling as Moxley paints him with palm strikes! Moriarty avoids the lariat to fire off hands, but Moxley blocks a kick! So Moriarty KNEES free! And SAIDO! But Moxley’s right back up!? SAIDO!! But Moriarty’s right back up! But Moxley turns saido into takeover, and he wants the kimura! Moriarty resists so Moxley goes for an armbar! But Moriarty rolls through that to flip Moxley over, STF, into BORDER CITY STRETCH! Moxley endures, but Moriarty shifts to rain down forearms to the back!

Renee Paquette has a sit-down interview with Saraya and Britt Baker.

Well, she was supposed to, but only Saraya is here. Britt felt she didn’t need to be here, apparently, but that’s fine, Renee and Saraya can still talk. Saraya says she’s used to this now. She knows what it takes to be a star. With Britt, she doesn’t care about anyone but herself. She doesn’t care about the division, about the locker room, or anyone apart from herself. When Saraya grew up in this industry, the 30 years of her life, 17 of those were wrestling. Saraya once had to wrestle the same day she got hit by a car! Saraya had to build divisions everywhere she went, so Britt should feel lucky to have even had this interview.

Renee says they’re both here, this is an official welcome back to wrestling for Saraya. But why now? And why AEW? “There is something special about AEW. When it started three years ago, it was kind of that rebel company, and you see all these amazing faces go over there,” and Saraya just felt it’d be so great to be part of that. Once the timing came around, it was just perfect, and the division needed some help to build itself up even more. It’s already fantastic, but Saraya felt she could give it just that little bit more. Then that leads to Renee’s second question, “the elephant in the room,” where is Saraya medically?

We all know five years ago, Saraya got injured in the ring, that led to some spinal stenosis and lack of spinal fluid in the spinal cord. It seemed like she hung up the boots, but now she’s back, so where does she stand? Saraya says she wasn’t going to do this today, but there’s one more doctor she needs to consult. Saraya says we’ll know in a week’s time, what will be the state of Saraya’s in-ring career?

Tony Schiavone interviews William Regal backstage.

Schiavone says November 19th, Full Gear’s main event is Moxley VS MJF for the AEW World Championship. Regal says after what he witnessed last week, it showed to him, “Dear Max, that you have all the potential in the world, but you still have a long way to go to being a true villain. At Full Gear, all the potential in the world isn’t going to help you become the AEW World Champion when you have to face a real demon in Jon Moxley.” Will Lord Regal’s assertion be true? Or will MJF unlock something that will allow him to finally make it over to the other side?

The Acclaimed heads to the ring!

Platinum Max has the mic to say, “Yo, listen! Acclaimed on the mic and we ill with the word play. Make some noise, cuz it’s Billy Gunn’s birthday! And I hope you don’t feel vexed. We didn’t get a cake cuz it wasn’t in your meal prep. Swerve’s acting like he’s on drugs. I’m a make his ass pay like I’m Elon Musk! We’ll beat his ass silly, and let’s have everybody say Happy Birthday to Billy.” Fans cheer and Anthony Bowens says, “BALTIMOOOOOORE~! The Acclaimed have arrived!” The Acclaimed scissor finger, but that’s because Billy’s fingers are messed up from what Swerve did to him on Friday. Fans sing, “Oh~ Scissor Me, Daddy~!” to make up for it.

Bowens says they are so glad the fans are enthusiastic, because this was a very tough weekend. Last Rampage, “Sneaky Swerve did some damage to Daddy Ass’s fingers, and now he can’t scissor.” Scissoring is taking over the world! The World Series! Arenas all around the world! Right, cameraman? YEAH~! But of course, they can’t have a Daddy Ass birthday bash without scissoring, so they’re starting off hot with gift number one! The brand new Acclaimed foam SCISSOR FINGERS~! They put those on Billy, “so that when a sneaky snake like Swerve breaks your hands, you can still…” “SCISSOR ME, DADDY ASS!” There it is!

Caster sees the great signs, the scissor shirts, and big scissors, all to celebrate Daddy Ass. And it’s true, AEW now stands for Acclaimed Every Wednesday. And it’s a fact of life that EVERYONE loves The Acclaimed! And furthermore, everyone loves Daddy Ass. So who brought gifts for Daddy? Throw up some signs! Throw up some scissors! Who wants to give Billy a gift? There’s all sorts of messages, like “Happy Birthday, Daddy Ass!” “Scissor Me Timbers!” Wait, a Sneaky Swerve Dartboard? Not bad. But Caster chooses the scissors with the party hat! They bring that in for Daddy! Happy birthday from everyone here in Baltimore!

Oh, but they’re not done yet! No, far from it. Billy’s been in the business for over 30 years and has accomplished a lot. An ELEVEN-TIME Tag Team Champion. That’s right! A two-time tag team of the year winner. That’s right! And in 2006, he was part of the worst segment of all time anywhere. That’s right… Reverse battle royal or something? That was a thing. But more importantly, Billy’s a Hall of Famer, a stand-up guy, and is now… the WORLD’S GREATEST DADDY!! They modified a trophy just for Billy and fans cheer as he accepts the award. Fans chant “DADDY ASS!” and Bowens says there’s one last thing.

Bowens says he planned so much more, like special guests from Billy’s past, but unfortunately, two cancelled last minute, and the rest were just upset Billy didn’t go to the reunion. Billy does a “SUCK IT!” for old time’s sake! But most importantly, the last couple of months, he’s been a mentor and father figure to The Acclaimed and he has meant the world to them. This final gift touches the soul. They filed paperwork, and they have a certificate of adoption! The Sultan of Scissors, Anthony Bowens, has signed it! Platinum Max Caster has signed it! The Acclaimed just need a signature from Billy!

Fans chant “Sign It! Sign It!” Billy says, “I get to be your daddy?” But wait! Billy’s biological sons, the “Ass~ Boys!” are here! Austin & Colten Gunn want this to stop. Did their invitation get lost in the mail? They didn’t get invited to their father’s birthday party? Billy says The Acclaimed are his sons! Well, even though they weren’t invited, being that they’re his lovable sons, they still got him a gift. Billy turns around into a BOOT from W. Morrissey! And then Morrissey CLOBBERS The Acclaimed! The Gunn Sons beat up on the tag champs while Morrissey stomps Billy! Fans boo but here comes FTR!

Fans fire up as Cash Wheeler & Dax Harwood storm down to the ring! The Firm bails, but the ROH-AAA-IWGP Tag Team Champions stand tall with the AEW World Tag Team Champions. But FTR also pick up the AEW World Tag Team titles. FTR hand the belts over to the champions, this match surely to come down the line. But with Gunn Club in the way first, will Dax & Cash make sure Austin & Colten #FearTheRepercussions of their actions?

Tony Schiavone interviews Britt Baker backstage.

And she interrupts him, too, as he welcomes us to her interview with her people on her time and in her world. “What? You thought I was going to jump just because you said to, Saraya and Renee? Well, I have been a victim of conspiracy for far too long, so I’m not showing up to your party.” Jamie Hayter is also here, and she says she is sick of it all. She’s sick of the BS! She just wants to wrestle! Britt does, too! They should wrestle together as the best female tag team on the planet. Find them a team to face on Friday. Yours Truly, Britt Baker, DMD.

ROH World Championship Open Challenge: Chris Jericho w/ Daniel Garcia & Jake Hager VS ???

The Wizard, Le Champion, continues his mission to desecrate, destroy and degrade the legacy of ROH, and he doesn’t care who it is, he just wants to face any former champion of ROH! Singles, tag, trios, Women’s Division, it doesn’t matter to him! But then, who will accept that challenge in hopes of shutting Jericho up? Jericho gets the mic to say, “So last week, after Claudio, that jackass, took a tainted victory over The Ocho, it made me mad! And now, like I said, I am ready for an open challenge tonight, against any former ROH champion. World champion, tag team champion, Pure Champion, Women’s Champion, I DON’T CARE! Cabana pushes Jericho into the corner, but he lets off. Jericho shoves, Cabana shoves, and then Cabana fires off! The ref counts and Cabana backs off. Jericho storms up, Cabana headlocks, Jericho powers out but Cabana runs Jericho over! Fans cheer, Jericho gets up and ties up with Cabana. Cabana headlocks, Jericho powers out but Cabana runs him over! Cabana then fakes Jericho out to KICK him! Cabana rains down fists and fans are thunderous!

Jericho and Cabana stir, the ref has Garcia and Hager back off, and Jericho gets in the ring. Cabana sits up, Jericho grabs at him from the apron but Cabana ROCKS Jericho! Cabana gets on the apron, ELBOWS Jericho, then bumps him off buckles! Cabana brings Jericho side to side to bump him off more buckles! And again the other way, but Jericho triangle jumps to DROPKICK! Cabana goes down and Garcia mocks him with applause. Jericho soaks up the heat, Garcia dares Cabana to get up and fight, but the ring count climbs. Jericho mocks the fans, flips them off, and then goes out to fetch Cabana.

Jericho puts Cabana in the ring, storms in after him, and slaps him around! And even more! Jericho slaps Cabana more and more, talks trash, sits Cabana up, but Cabana counter slaps! And again! And again! Cabana CHOPS, runs, but into a throat chop! Jericho drags Cabana up to back suplex! Cocky cover, TWO! Fans boo while Garcia and Hager fire up. But Cabana ASAI MOONSAULTS Hager & Garcia down!!

Fans are thunderous, Cabana runs in to FLYING APPLE! He keeps moving, but runs into a CODE BREAKER! Cover, Jericho wins!

Winner: Chris Jericho, by pinfall (still ROH World Champion)

Score one more for sports entertainment! Cabana’s shocking return had a disappointing ending, will the Ring of Jericho Era continue whether we like it or not?

But wait! Matthew Menard & Angelo Parker drag Ian Riccaboni from commentary! They bring him to Jericho and Jericho SLAPS Ian! And snatches his glasses away! Jericho mocks Ian, SLAPS him, BREAKS the glasses, then aims with the world title belt! But CLAUDIO attacks! Claudio tackles Jericho, only for Hager and the rest to drag him away! Claudio gets mugged, but then here comes BRYAN DANIELSON! The American Dragon takes out Parker but Garcia is after him! Sammy Guevara rushes out to add more on the JAS side, but then WHEELER YUTA attacks Sammy! BCC and JAS brawl but the JAS has numbers!

Security rushes out, fans want to “Let Them Fight!” but this is not happening here. What will it take to end the war between pro-wrestlers and sports entertainers?

Renee interviews Death Triangle backstage.

She’s with the AEW World Trios Championships, but Rey Fenix has his shot at the All-Atlantic Championship up next. He could become the NEW Double Champion, what is he feeling? Fenix says he’s feeling happy, he’s feeling great, and ready! Tonight, he will be the NEW All-Atlantic Champion! #DoubleDouble! PAC speaks up, and he says as someone who knows something being Double Champion, if Fenix wants revenge, like real revenge, he may not have wanted to use the bell hammer last time, and that was his prerogative. But this time, it’d be legal. Pac is telling him now, “the hammer, Rey. If you’re smart about it my friend, trust me. This tonight, can be your golden ticket.”

But hey, the choice is his. Just something to think about. Pac leaves, and Penta says they should talk about this. Will the Firebird do as The Bastard would? Or will he stay true to himself?

Fenix runs, ducks ‘n’ dodges to springboard FLYING ARM-DRAG! Cassidy avoids the stomps then runs, to tilt-o-whirl-whirl-whirl DDT! Cover, TWO! Ghost pin, TWO! Fenix kips up but so does Cassidy, and fans fi reup for that exchange. Cassidy catches his breath, Fenix nods, but Luchasaurus gets back in. Fenix & Cassidy run, dodge, but get run over! Fans boo but Luchasaurus POSTS Fenix! Luchasaurus suplexes Cassidy, and SLAMS him down!

Cassidy goes to a corner, Luchasaurus runs in to back elbow! He back elbows Fenix, then Cassidy again! Fenix dodges, but Luchasaurus comes back to DOUBLE LARIAT! Fans boo but Luchasaurus just soaks up the heat while AEW goes picture in picture.

Luchasaurus storms over to Cassidy and drags him up. Luchasaurus puts him in a corner, CHOPS him, then stands him up again. Luchasaurus whips corner to corner hard and Cassidy bounces off buckles. Christian Cage seems confident enough to leave ringside and join commentary as Luchasaurus chokes Cassidy at the ropes. Luchasaurus lets off to drag Cassidy back up and scoop. Luchasaurus hits a SIDEWALK SLAM! Cover, Fenix breaks it! Luchasaurus UPPERCUTS, but Fenix CHOPS back! Fenix CHOPS again, but Luchasaurus UPPERCUTS Fenix down! Cover, TWO! Luchasaurus CHOKES Fenix!

The ref reprimands but he can’t disqualify, but still Luchasaurus lets off. Luchasaurus drags Fenix up, Fenix throws a forearm, but Luchasaurus DECKS him! Luchasaurus whips Fenix hard into the corner and Fenix hits chest first! Fenix falls, so Luchasaurus UPPERCUTS Cassidy! Cassidy flops in a corner and out to the floor, so Luchasaurus goes back to Fenix. Luchasaurus sits Fenix up but Fenix eggs him on. Luchasaurus kicks Fenix around, drags him up, but Fenix CHOPS! And CHOPS! And CHOPS! Luchasaurus tosses Fenix to a corner and UPPERCUTS again! Luchasaurus drags Fenix up as Dynamite returns to single picture.

Fenix fires off body shots but Luchasaurus CLUBS him down! Luchasaurus drags Cassidy up, suplexes, but STUN-DOG MILLIONAIRE hits! And Fenix SUPERKICKS! Luchasaurus goes down just as Christian was praising him! Cassidy whips Fenix in to JUMP SOBAT Luchasaurus! Feed to the ORANGE PUNCH! Luchasaurus falls out of the ring, Christian is upset, and now Fenix stares Cassidy down. Fenix shoves Cassidy, but they see Luchasaurus is up at ramp side. Fenix & Cassidy build speed, and DOUBLE DIVE! But Luchasaurus SWATS Fenix while he catches Cassidy! Luchasaurus then SHOVES Cassidy into steel steps!

Luchasaurus stalks Fenix to the timekeeper’s area, to CHOKE SLAM him through the table!! Fans lose their minds and fire up as Christian enjoys what his Right Hand of Destruction just did. Luchasaurus drags Cassidy up but Cassidy fires off hands! Luchasaurus ROCKS then BOOTS Cassidy up the ramp! Luchasaurus eggs Cassidy on, shoves him further up the ramp, and now they’re at the stage. Luchasaurus runs in but Cassidy dodges! ORANGE- NO, Luchasaurus blocks! Luchasaurus HEADBUTTS Cassidy, and keeps him standing with a choke grip! But JUNGLE BOY is here! He SMACKS Luchasaurus with a chair!

Christian is furious as JB SMACKS Luchasaurus again! Christian gets off commentary to shout at JB, but JB chases him off! JB then runs to CROSSBODY Luchasaurus off the stage and THROUGH a table!!! Fans lose their minds for what Jack Perry just did to get even a modicum of revenge! JB high-fives fans, and Cassidy and Fenix have returned to the ring! But here comes Pac! Pac puts Cassidy in the ring, and he offers Fenix the bell hammer! Fenix takes the hammer and gets in the ring! To DROP the hammer! Pac is upset but fans cheer, only for Cassidy to victory roll! TWO! Fenix has the cover, TWO!

Cassidy gets up, Fenix SUPERKICKS! Somersault, ORANGE PUNCH!!! Cover, Cassidy wins!!

Winner: Orange Cassidy, by pinfall (still AEW All-Atlantic Champion)

But Pac attacks! Pac stomps all his frustrations into Cassidy, and then rains down fists! Fans boo but The Bastard is living up to his name! Pac demands the bell hammer, and he grabs it off the floor. But wait! Is that… KATSUYORI SHIBATA?!?! NJPW’s Wrestler is here, and he’s with Best Friends!! Rocky Romero, Chuck Taylor & Trent Beretta storm to the ring with Shibata, and Pac backs off! Fans are losing their minds all over again as Shibata gets in the ring with Cassidy. Shibata points at the title! Cassidy holds up the contract, and hands it to Shibata! Shibata writes his name on the challenger’s spot, and we have a match for Rampage!!

Tony Schiavone interviews Swerve Strickland backstage.

He is thrilled to be with both Swerve Strickland and platinum recording artist, Rick Ross! The biggest boss, Rick Ross! But as exciting as that is, Schiavone has to ask Swerve, why did he do that to Billy Gunn? Whoa, wait, hold on. Keep it positive here today. Rick Ross is making this clear that he is here for one reason and one reason only: making sure that Swerve is the biggest name in the industry, and the largest recording artist in the world! They’re here celebrating that! Keith Lee walks in and says what’s good! But he’s here for Swerve? Swerve is okay responding to Rick Ross but he won’t text his tag partner back?

Swerve isn’t sure what Keith is talking about. Rick Ross says keep it positive, they’re here celebrating. Alright, here’s keeping it positive: Their team, Swerve In Our Glory, is the #1 contender to the AEW World Tag Team Championships. However, Swerve attacked Billy Gunn. Keith watched things back! FALSE ACCUSATIONS! No, this is facts! And furthermore, who was behind the camera when Swerve assaulted Billy? Who is sick enough to stand there and watch that? Swerve says that is a lot of questions. Rick Ross says that’s not what we’re focused on! Just focus on being the number one duo in the world.

Swerve agrees, and he says they can do this: an 8 Man Tag. SIOG & Gunn Club VS The Acclaimed & FTR! Toast to that! Rick Ross encourages them all to toast, even Schiavone, and Keith reluctantly joins in. Will they all be #1 in the world after one more go with Caster & Bowens?

AEW TBS Championship: Jade Cargill w/ Leila Grey VS Marina Shafir!

Still undefeated at now 40-0 (check Elevation for that milestone), and still AEW TBS Champion, but still without the belt because Nyla Rose won’t let her have it back! Will The Problem add on by taking away Jade’s rightful claim to the title? Or will #ThatBitch have no problem going 41-0?

The introductions are made, but no belt can be raised, so it’s just about the fight!

But wait, speaking of the belt, here comes Nyla Rose! But Vickie Guerrero makes herself known first with “EXCUSE ME!” Jade does her best to ignore that as she ties up with Shafir. Jade puts Shafir in the corner, Vickie shrieks more, and Nyla tells commentary to take a break, she is gonna do the play by play. Jade is taking it to Marina in the corner with uppercuts, “but hopefully she doesn’t get distracted by THE TBS Champion at the top of the ramp.” Nyla swivels the hips while Jade stomps away on Shafir. Vickie notes how good Nyla looks, both the robe and the belt on her waist. Shafir gets out of the ring but Jade goes out to kick her around.

Vickie notes that, according to Jade, Nyla was supposed to be home tonight eating chips. Nyla admits that’s true, and she starts eating chips on the ramp! Jade drags Shafir up but Shafir fires off body shots, chops and knees! Shafir whips but Jade reverses and Shafir hits railing! Jade storms up on Shafir, brings her up and puts her in the ring. Shafir writhes and now Jade dares Nyla to step to her. Nyla says hold on! Jade being so obsessed with numbers, pay attention to the ref. Jade rushes in at 8 of 10, Nyla tells her to watch some Sesame Street when this is done, and Shafir gets Jade in a waistlock!

Jade fights, Shafir rolls her and wants the leg, but Jade kicks her away! Jade then BOOTS Shafir down! Fans fire up with Jade and she storms around. Jade chicken wings and lifts Shafir, JADED!! Cover, Jade wins!

Winner: Jade Cargill, by pinfall (still AEW TBS Champion)

Still undefeated at 41-0, and Kiera Hogan is sneaking up on Nyla! Kiera grabs for the belt, but Nyla CLOBBERS her! Jade hurries over, but not to help her Baddie, but to berate her for failing. Will #ThatBitch ever get her belt back? Or will Nyla constantly taunt her with it until she gets her own shot?

The House of Black speaks.

“What has become of us? What have you all done?” Julia Hart says last rites for Malakai Black? And for Buddy, and for Brody. “Have you all abandoned your faith this quickly? You have us burning at the stakes so soon, clinging like children to this new world. Afraid to abandon it.” The bodies are taken out to the water. “Now come the ways of old. Now comes the worship of death. All must end so that all can suffer anew.” “Father of the Black Light, giver of the scythe that takes, giver of the scythe that creates. Forget me not. See me now, mother.” Is this not the death but a new life for the House of Black?

BREAKING NEWS for Rampage!

On top of Cassidy VS Shibata in their All-Atlantic City Dream Match, Britt & Hayter have opponents! Skye Blue & Madison Rayne have stepped up, will the student and coach be enough to shut up the Doctor and her assistant? And the Full Gear World Title Eliminator Tournament will have more names announced! Who will get in on that golden opportunity that leads to New Jersey?

But speaking of Full Gear…

It is now official! For the Interim AEW Women’s World Championship, it will be Toni Storm VS Jamie Hayter! Hayter gets the shot she’s wanted, will she hit the mark? Or will the Lightning From Down Under strike down the Hayter? And speaking of that…

AEW hears from Toni Storm and Jamie Hayter.

Storm says, “A lot of people don’t know this, but me and Jamie Hayter go way back. During the pandemic, me and Jamie actually lived together in England, so we spent a lot of months together. We became best friends. If anything, we became like sisters. When I first got here, when I walked into my first day in AEW…  Jamie Hayter wouldn’t even talk to me. She wouldn’t even look at me. It was quite clear.” Hayter says, “My change of attitude? That’s weird, I thought I was being nice. What do you mean, change of attitude? I feel like I’m the same old Jamie Hayter I always have been. Maybe you just didn’t know who I was before.”

Storm knew Hayter was no longer her friend, she was Britt’s. But now these former friends fight for the title! Will all those feelings and frustrations boil to the surface at Full Gear?

ROH World Television Championship: Samoa Joe VS Brian Cage w/ Prince Nana!

The Embassy wants gold, but they made the mistake of how they went after it. The Machine has angered the Samoan Submission Specialist, is he about to be disassembled? Or will not even the rage of Samoa Joe be enough to stop the Swolverine?

The introductions are made by Bobby Cruise, the title is raised, and we see if there is someone who’s better than Brian Cage!

The bell rings and Cage circles with Joe. Fans rally with “Joe is gonna kill~ you!” Joe makes sure Cage hears that. Cage and Joe tie up, Joe headlocks, but Cage powers up and out. Joe rams shoulders but Cage shrugs that off. Joe runs again, they RAM shoulders, but Cage shakes his head. Cage dares Joe to try again, fans rally behind Joe, but then Cage reels Joe in to ROCK with a forearm! And again! Cage whips, Joe ducks ‘n’ dodges to run Cage over! Fans fire up while Cage slowly gets up. Cage throws forearms, has Joe in a corner, and he fires off forearms! Cage lets off to ask, “Who betta than Brian Cage?!”

But Cage turns around into a CHOP! Joe JABS, JABS, JABS, again and again then CHOPS Cage to a corner. Joe brings Cage out but Cage fires off forearms! Joe CHOPS again, whips corner to corner, then runs in to back elbow and PELE! Cage wobbles against ropes, Joe brings him around to snapmare and CHOP the back! PENALTY KICK to the front! Running ELBOW DROP! Cover, ONE!! Nana gets on the apron but Joe chases him off. Nana still talks trash, but Joe goes back to Cage. Cage DROPKICKS! Fans boo but Nana says that’s how smart they are. Cage CLUBS and rains down fists on Joe, then stomps away at the ropes.

The ref counts, Cage lets off and puts Joe in a corner. Cage RAMS Joe, and RAMS him, then CHOPS! Joe staggers while he’s stinging, but Cage CHOKES Joe on the ropes. The ref counts, Cage lets off, Nana keeps talking trash, and Cage starts firing off KICK after KICK! Cage SOBATS, then he brings Joe around. Cage wrenches, whips, and LARIATS! Cage flexes but fans boo. Cage drags Joe up, but Joe JABS, JABS, JABS! Cage kicks low, whips, then runs in to UPPERCUT and PELE! Then a GERMAN SUPLEX! Fans cheer the strength while AEW goes picture in picture.

Cage looms over Joe, runs and drops a leg, brother. Cage keeps moving, another leg drop! And another leg drop! Cover, TWO! Cage is annoyed and so is Nana, but Cage drags Joe up to give him crossface forearms! Cage clamps onto Joe with a CAMEL CLUTCH! Joe endures as Cage bends him back! Joe fights up, pries at the hold, and BITES Cage’s hand! The ref reprimands but Joe CHOPS! And CHOPS! And whips, but Cage reverses! Joe BOOTS back, but Cage clotheslines all the same! Cage drags Joe to then drop a knee! Cover, ONE!! Cage is annoyed, Nana is shouting, but Cage clamps on a chinlock to squeeze Joe’s head.

Joe endures, fights up, but Cage wrangles him right back down! Joe endures all over again, gets a second wind and he fights to his feet. Joe throws body shots and then CHOPS! Joe runs but Cage follows to ELBOW him down! Joe flops out of the ring and Cage soaks up the heat. Dynamite returns to single picture a Cage builds speed and FLIES! Cage clears the ropes and hits Joe at the ramp! Fans fire up for that uncanny display of agility! Cage puts Joe in the ring, storms up and flexes, but fans boo now. Cage loves showing off, and he drags Joe up. Joe JABS! JABS! JABS! Cage SOBATS again! Cage runs, into a CHOP!

Joe atomic drops Cage, runs and BOOTS him down! SENTON! Cover, TWO! Cage is still in this and Joe is frustrated. Fans rally up as Joe drags Cage up. Joe whips Cage into the corner, then POWERSLAMS on the return! Cover, TWO! Joe is a bit surprised by that and Nana is upset, too. Joe drags Cage up, reels him in, but Cage wrenches out to JUMP KNEE! And SUPERKICK! Joe ends up on ropes, Cage dials it up, 619!! Cage goes up a corner, for a TWISTING ELBOW DROP! Cover, TWO!!! Joe survives and Nana is going nuts! The ref defends his count but Cage drags Joe up. Cage wrenches, hooks, but Joe throws down elbows.

Cage knees back, wrenches and pump handles, to flip Joe for the DRIVER! Cover, TWO!!! Joe still survives and Nana cannot believe it! But Cage aims, runs, spins, but Joe ducks to get the SLEEPER! But Cage OLYMPIC SLAMS free!! Cage runs, DISCUS LARIAT!! Cover, TWO!?! Nana is stunned all over again! Cage signs the death warrant, he drags Joe up and fireman’s carries, but Joe slips off to SLEEPER! Cage tries to throw Joe but Joe shifts arms! COQUINA CLUTCH!!! Cage TAPS, Joe wins!!

Winner: Samoa Joe, by submission (still ROH World Television Champion)

Joe wins, but here come the Gates of Agony! Liona & Kaun attack Joe and fans boo! Nana tells Joe this is what he gest, but here comes WARDLOW!! The AEW TNT Champion is here to back up his tag partner and run off the Embassy! Wardlow almost gets a hand on Cage, but Cage and the GOA get away. Wait, creeping up from behind, it’s POWERHOUSE HOBBS! A SPINEBUSTER for Wardlow!! Hobbs picks up the TNT belt and holds it over Wardlow! Is this a glimpse into a future chapter in the Book of Hobbs?

My Thoughts:

A great episode here, with quite a bit set up for the following weeks, and even some for Full Gear. Good promo from Storm and Hayter, and Storm sure ends up in a lot of “We used to be friends” feuds. Hayter & Britt are definitely going to win against Skye & Rayne, so that’s momentum for Hayter. And Britt choosing to not join Renee and Saraya in their interview was a very in-character Heel move. This is of course just propelling things closer and closer to Saraya’s return match being against Britt, and that could be a big moment for Full Gear. I can’t say whether Hayter beats Storm or not, but I would think Saraya’s first match back is going to be a win.

Great opening match from Darby and Allin, even with all the overbooking, but I would not have guessed that they’d pull an nWo Sting with Cole Karter, or that Jeff Jarrett would join Lethal here in AEW. Karter being fake Sting fell flat as could be because who even cares about Karter here in AEW? But Jarrett joining in was at least surprising. Jarrett VS Sting is going to be a thing, and that’ll be fun for old time’s sake. And great stuff out of Moxley VS Moriarty. I did like that Moxley’s promo implied the door’s always open to the guys Bryan mentioned, if they just come to their senses and get vicious as hell. Ethan attacking Moxley indicates he’ll be a frontrunner in the world title eliminator tournament, and maybe this will be Ethan’s push he’s been waiting for.

I’m actually rather surprised we didn’t see MJF at all tonight, but Regal did shout him out in his own promo. Regal of course predicts Moxley winning but who knows what’ll happen at Full Gear. We got a great segment from The Acclaimed and Billy Gunn, and of course Billy’s biological sons took offense when Bowens suggested adoption. We’re definitely getting a Six Man Tag of The Acclaimed & Daddy Ass VS The Firm’s Gunns & Morrissey. Then that’ll lead into FTR VS Gunns at ROH Final Battle in December.

And on the other side, we got a good promo with Rick Ross, Keith Lee & Swerve to address how messed up that was for Swerve to break Billy’s fingers. I wonder if Rick Ross was the cameraman… But anyway, this just adds to Keith not wanting to tag with Swerve over how he’s the Heel in this. Can’t wait to see how that goes in the title match, that’ll be another show stealer at Full Gear like it was at All Out. That will definitely be The Acclaimed’s win as Keith & Swerve are probably going to fall apart as a team during the match.

Great vignette for the House of Black, it definitely dismisses any thoughts that Malakai was leaving. Maybe they make their presence known again at Full Gear for either the tag or trios titles. And a good little video for The Elite where they’re again making a point of AEW trying to be AEW without them. The video being specifically about the trios titles could be foreshadowing that their return will be all about the trios titles so that they can get those belts back and have the fun they were meant to. And Cabana being Jericho’s surprise opponent was great, because one: I’ve been missing Cabana. And two: it’s a sign that CM Punk is out, so Cabana can come back without stress.

But of course Jericho wins, he’s going to keep this Ring of Jericho thing going. But the BCC being united going after the JAS and saving Ian was cool. Maybe we get a Six Man Tag, then who knows, maybe we get Yuta VS Garcia for the Pure title again, maybe Yuta moves up to go after Jericho since Jericho wants after all former ROH title holders, and Yuta counts since he had the Pure Championship before Garcia. I would love if Jericho faced Rush, that’d be really good stuff. Hell, let’s bring in Minoru Suzuki since he was a former ROH World TV Champion. Or Jeff Cobb, he was also one. Any of those names would be fun stuff against Jericho, and their factions would work against JAS.

The TBS Championship match was of course a whole lot of nothing given the story of Nyla holding onto the belt while Jade still has the title. Nyla was pretty funny on the mic, though. And though Kiera tried, she’s one third Nyla’s size so she wasn’t going to snatch that belt back. This obviously culminates at Full Gear, we’re either seeing 42-0 (unless AEW pads Jade’s numbers with Dark and Elevation again) or we’re seeing Jade take her first loss because Nyla and Vickie are playing the distraction game better than Jade and The Baddies. And I really hope Jade and Nyla get to give us a match that steals the show, both are such great characters and impressive athletes, they deserve nothing less.

Awesome stuff out of the All-Atlantic Championship. For one, great Triple Threat, I do like that AEW is having this title be that competitive. Then we got a great return from Jungle Boy, he took it to Luchasaurus and that grudge match is coming around. And of course, Pac is trying to have the others join in on blurring the lines, but Fenix & Penta aren’t having it. If The Elite really are coming back for the trios titles, maybe Death Triangle falling apart is the reason The Elite beats them in the match. But Cassidy winning is great, and I could NOT have guessed Shibata would show up. Cassidy VS Shibata is great stuff, but I’m thinking Pac has to screw that match up. Shibata feels bigger than the All-Atlantic title, and it just makes sense that Cassidy VS Pac happens one more time to put things to bed.

And we got great stuff in the main event for the ROH World TV title. Joe VS Cage was a great match but naturally, Joe wins. The Embassy keeps wanting after the ROH titles, because duh, they’re going to be a big part of ROH’s revival. Hobbs attacking Wardlow was also a natural move, and Hobbs VS Wardlow has to be for Full Gear, too. Who knows how things go, but it would be awesome for Hobbs to get that title, he’s put in great work.

My Score: 8.7/10
