Mitchell’s WWE Raw Results & Report! (2/13/23)

It’s a MASSIVE Monday Night Raw!

There’s still much to do before arriving in Montreal!

Before colliding at Elimination Chamber this Saturday, Bobby Lashley and Brock Lesnar sign on the dotted line to make their rematch official! Will the All Mighty and the Beast keep from tearing each other apart here so they can tear each other apart in Montreal?

  • The Judgment Day VS The Street Profits; The Judgment Day wins.
  • Piper Niven VS Mia Yim; Piper wins.
  • Six Woman Tag: Asuka, Nikki Cross & Carmella VS Liv Morgan, Raquel Rodriguez & Natalya; Asuka, Nikki & Carmella win.
  • Bronson Reed VS Mustafa Ali; Bronson wins.
  • The Miz VS Rick Boogs; Boogs wins.
  • Triple Threat: Bianca Belair VS Bayley VS Becky Lynch; Bianca wins and denies both Bayley and Becky a spot in the Women’s Elimination Chamber match.

Becky Lynch is here!

Brooklyn is Big Time already as Becky is in the ring and gets the mic. Adam Pearce is also in the ring, he has a mic, but Becky starts by saying, “The Man has come around to Brooklyn! So that I can say, welcome to Monday Night Raw!” Becky even dressed up all “spiffy” for us, and she brought Pearce. Fans boo but Pearce doesn’t understand why. Becky says they shouldn’t hold it against her, but she’ll get to Pearce later. As good as it felt last week to beat Bayley inside the steel cage, big shout out to Lita for having her back, a living legend who forgave Becky for being a weirdo last year, bygones are bygones, Becky realized something,

Becky’s path to WrestleMania is not clear. She has been so distracted by the Damage CTRL fools, she lost sight of what is most important to her in the WWE and that is the title. “And so if there’s one thing I love to do, it’s fight my way into things. And we are less than a week away from Elimination Chamber, and Adam Pearce, this brings me to you. If there’s one thing you love to do, it’s up the ante and make some fights. So I’m presenting you with an opportunity. I’m giving you the opportunity to let me fight my way into that Elimination Chamber, right here, tonight! What do you say, Adam?”

But then Bayley walks out! Becky is upset but the Role Model says, “Whoa whoa, whoa whoa, whoa, Becky. IF you think that you’re getting a shot, that you’re getting into the Elimination Chamber after what you pulled last week, than you’re a bigger idiot than all of these idiots!” Fans boo but Bayley says Becky didn’t finish nothing last week! That so-called Hall of Famer had to do it for her! Oh, no, Lita took care of Bayley’s girls so that Becky could take care of Bayley. Bayley disagrees, she wants to talk with Adam Pearce to scrub that Steel Cage match from the record, uninvite Lita from all future events, and then add Bayley into the Chamber. That’s what she deserves!

Fans boo but Bayley says she is a GRAND SLAM WOMEN’S CHAMPION! Becky doesn’t know what that’s like, huh? Becky says she’s a WrestleMania main eventer and Bayley doesn’t know what that is like. Well no one wants to see Becky VS Bianca again! DING DONG HELLO, Becky lost! Well if Becky remembers right, she and Bianca stole the show. Where was Bayley? Nowhere to be found on her pegleg. Bayley says she has successfully, SUCCESSFULLY both the Raw and SmackDown Women’s Championships at WrestleManias. But Becky reminds Bayley that she won the first ever Winner Takes All at WrestleMania!

Pearce has Bayley and Becky calm down, but then here comes Bianca! The RawEST Women’s Champion has a mic of her own as she struts out on stage. “Now, now, now. I hear a whole lot of talk about the Raw Women’s Championship, but nobody thought about to come talk to the Raw Women’s Champion herself?” Fans chant “EST! EST!” as Bianca makes her way to the ring to join the others. If they had actually asked Bianca, she would’ve said she likes where this is going, since she wants to face the best of the best.

Now, Adam, there are already six women in the Elimination Chamber match, but if Becky and Bayley want to get through that to get through her, then they should go through her in the first place. Pearce likes that! Here’s an idea: These three compete in a Triple Threat! And hold on, speaking of raising the stakes, if either Bayley or Becky win, they’re added to the Chamber to start as a Triple Threat. BUT: if Bianca wins, then neither Bayley or Becky get in. That’s a hell of a main event and a fair fight. What do the fans say? The fans love it, Becky and Bianca and Bayley all shake on it, so it’s official! Bayley VS Becky VS Bianca in a Triple Threat!

But will this riskiEST move help Bianca cross off some storied rivals on the Road to WrestleMania? Or will this year’s Elimination Chamber be historic even before it begins?

Backstage interview with The Judgment Day.

Byron Saxton walks over to Finn Balor, Damian Priest & Dominik Mysterio. He notes that Saturday, Elimination Chamber, it will be a Mixed Tag of Finn and Rhea VS Edge and Beth Phoenix. Priest steps into the Chamber itself for the US Championship. So tonight, are they prepared for the huge weekend ahead? Priest tells Byron that that isn’t the question. The real question is: are those five other men prepared to step into that Chamber with Priest? Dom says that’s right, and he knows a thing or two about being locked up. Dom’s been training with Priest all week, and he knows Priest will run the Chamber like Dom did the cell block, and then Priest walks out of Montreal the NEW United States Champion!

Plus, Dom just got off the phone with Mami Rhea, and she’s still traveling the world to promote WrestleMania. She’s excited for the Chamber, and Valentine’s Day. Finn says tonight, they have the Street Profits. They want the smoke? Ha! Tonight, they’re gonna get rolled up, bowled up, and smoked up.” The Prince leads the way, but will they be the ones getting burned tonight?

The Judgment Day VS The Street Profits!

Raw returns and the Judgment Day make their entrance. The teams sort out and Priest starts against a fired up Montez Ford. It’s a preview of the US Championship Chamber match as the two tie up. Priest puts Ford in the corner, fans chant “We Want Mami!” Priest ROCKS Ford, KNEES him low again and again, then tells fans Mami ain’t here. Priest DECKS Ford, then brings him back up. Priest whips, runs Ford over, and then tags in Finn. Priest snapmares Ford for Finn to slingshot stomp! Finn digs his boot in with a cocky cover, TWO! Finn is annoyed but he soaks up the cheers and jeers from Brooklyn.

Finn ROCKS Ford with a right, has him on ropes, and brings Ford up to kick. Ford blocks, spins Finn then ENZIGURIS Finn down! Tag to Dawkins, the Profits whip and DROPKICK Finn down! Priest runs in but into a DOUBLE FLAPJACK! The Profits double clothesline Priest up and out and Brooklyn fires up while Raw goes picture in picture.

Finn and Priest stagger up and regroup with Dom at the ramp. Priest goes to a corner, Finn helps him, but Dawkins goes out to ROCK Priest! Ford ROCKS Finn, the ring count starts up, but Ford SMACKS Finn off the apron. Finn staggers around the way, Ford pursues, and Finn wants mercy. Fans fire up as Ford swaggers, then kicks Finn low. Ford has Finn against barriers and fans fire up more, so Ford CHOPS! Ford mocks Finn’s pain, pushes him into the ring, then shoulders in. Slingshot sunset flip, but Finn rolls through to basement dropkick! Finn tags Priest, he DECKS Dawkins off the apron, then CHOKES Ford on the ropes!

The ref has to keep Dawkins but then counts at Priest. Priest lets off at 4, distracts the ref, and Dom gets a sucker punch in! Dawkins protests more but Dom soaks up the heat. Priest eggs Brooklyn on, drags Ford up and tags Finn in. They kick, KICK and SCISSOR KICK! Cover, TWO! Finn keeps on Ford with a snapmare, then he drives an elbow in before wrapping on a chinlock! Finn thrashes Ford around, keeps him down, but Ford fights up. Finn knees low, bumps Ford off buckles, and throws hands. Tag to Priest, he brings Ford around to suplex, BROKEN ARROW! Ford flounders, Priest drags him to a cover, TWO!

Priest keeps cool as he stalks Ford to a corner. Priest ROCKS Ford in the back with a forearm, then hoists him up top. Priest CLUBS Ford, drags him out into a crucifix lift, but Ford fights! Ford throws elbows, Raw returns to single picture, but Priest LCUBS Ford! Priest climbs up and stands Ford up, SUPER BACK SUPLEX CROSSBODY! Ford turns it around at the last second and both men are down! Brooklyn rallies up, both men crawl, hot tags to Finn and Dawkins! Dawkins rallies on Finn, ROCKS Priest, then ROCKS Finn! Dawkins whips Finn, Finn reverses but Dawkins BLASTS Priest off the apron!

Dawkins hurdles Finn and FLYING ELBOWS! Then he kicks low, underhooks, SILENCER! Fans fire up with Dawkins and he sees Finn go to a corner. CYCLONE- NO, Finn dodges! But Ford tags in! Dawkins pops Finn up into a GERMAN SUPLEX from Ford! Cover, Priest breaks it! Dom is relieved but Ford drags Finn over. Tag to Dawkins, and Dawkins hoists Finn up in an Electric Chair! Ford climbs up top, BLOCKBUSTER DOOMSDAY! Ford SHOTGUNS Priest, Dawkins covers Finn, TWO!! Finn survives but Dawkins just stares Dom down. Dawkins sees Priest get in, ROCKS him then whips him out!

“This is Awesome!” as Ford FLIES to take out Priest!!  But now Dom gets on the apron! Dawkins TOSSES Dom into the ring! Fans fire up and Dawkins hits a POUNCE! Dom bails out, Finn hits a SLINGBLADE! Finn aims, runs, and SHOTGUNS Dawkins into buckles! Dawkins falls into the drop zone and Finn hurries up top! COUP DE GRACE!! Cover, Judgment Day wins!

Winners: The Judgment Day, by pinfall

Dom raises Finn’s hand, having been the insurance policy for the team. And then Priest SUPERKICKS Ford! Fans boo as the Judgment Day mugs Ford! But here comes EDGE! AND Beth! The Grit Couple gets in, Edge fires off fists with Finn! Finn goes tumbling, Dawkins whips Dom but Dom tosses Dawkins! Fans fire up as Edge sends Finn into barriers! Beth CLOBBERS Dom! Beth chicken wings Dom just like last week! But Rhea IS here! She CLOBBERS Beth from behind! And then pump handle, RIPTIDE!! Dom says that’s what happens! Mami is here, but Edge rushes back in! The Judgment Day runs off, but there will be no running in Montreal.

Will the Grit Couple avenge themselves on Saturday? Will Ford be able to rise up and have gold? Or will there be no denying that the Judgment Day runs things now?

Adam Pearce is back in the ring.

He goes over the contract, and here comes BROCK LESNAR! Brooklyn fires up as The Beast makes his way to the ring for this contract signing just days before he and Bobby Lashley go around one more time. Lesnar goes into the ring, Pearce officially announces this is the signing for the rubber match between the All Mighty, and the man who already signed this contract last week in Brock Lesnar. But one signature is not good enough, so we need the other one right now. Lesnar has Pearce get to the point. He’s signed the thing, so all we need is Bobby. “Bobby! Get your ass out here and sign this contract!”

Lashley makes his way out, but with security! Lesnar sighs and even smirks because about a dozen guards line the ramp, and then a couple production crew members bring out another table and another chair. They set those up on stage and Lashley finally makes his own way out. Lashley grins as he has a mic of his own. Pearce isn’t sure what this is, but Lashley can come to the ring- Oh, hold on, Pearce, things aren’t going down like that. This isn’t the Brock Lesnar Show! This isn’t Brock wants this, Brock wants that, Brock gets this and gets that. Brock wants a contract signing, so Pearce rolled out the red carpet for him.

But Lashley is sick of this! Because the way he sees it, whenever he and Lesnar face off, Lashley leaves Lesnar pinned, unconscious, and eliminated! So Lashley’s in the driver’s seat, we do things on HIS terms! Lesnar still tells Bobby to get his ass in the ring. No, this is on his terms. He took a look at the contract, his agent took a look at the contract, his manager looked at the contract, and his representative look at the contract. Hell, he had his kids look at the contract! Then come sign it! Lashley says he isn’t so sure he’s going to. Lesnar tells Lashley, “You get your ass up here and sign this contract.” Fans chant “Bobby’s Scared!” and Lesnar likes that.

Lashley grins but Lesnar says if Lashley doesn’t sign the contract, Lesnar will just go and beat his ass unconscious and sign it for him. Lashley says Lesnar doesn’t have to balls to! Lesnar grabs the contract off the table, steps outside of the ring, and makes his way up the ramp. Lesnar CLOBBERS guard after guard, throws a few more aside, then runs right at Lashley! Lashley BACK DROPS Lesnar to the stage! Lashley takes off his shirt, to SPEAR Lesnar back down!! The All Mighty suckered Lesnar in, and now he picks up the contract. Lashley puts it on his table to sign, then pushes it into Lesnar’s hands.

Fans are torn but the Rocky Mountain Machine has made this official! Will he just make Elimination Chamber the newest example of him brutalizing The Beast?

Piper Niven VS Mia Yim!

The Scottish Viper has tried reasserting her dominance but it hasn’t gone her way. She tried bullying Candice LeRae for costing her a spot in the Women’s Elimination Chamber match, but Michin got in her way. Will Piper pulverize Mia to prove she’s not to be messed with? Or will Mia remind Piper that she’s the Head Baddie in Charge?

The bell rings and the two run in, and Piper CLOBBER Mia! Mia goes to a corner, Piper fires off forearms! The ref counts, Piper lets off and then swings again, but Mia dodges. Mia clotheslines but Piper doesn’t budge! Mia ROUNDHOUSES, Piper wobbles, and Mia scoops!? Piper’s too much and Mia falls over! Cover, TWO! Mia runs, but Piper scoops her to a tilt-o-whirl DDT! Piper wobbles, Mia fires up and Brooklyn is with her! Mia runs in to CHOP! And ROCK! And CHOP! Repeat! Mia fires off again and again, machine gun CHOPS, then runs in, into an URENAGE! Piper snarls, runs, and SENTONS! Cover, TWO!

Piper pushes Mia around, drags her up, and SLAPS her! Piper kicks Mia around, Mia goes to ropes, and Mia hits back. Piper SLAPS Mia again, stomps her back down, then stands on her! The ref counts, fans boo, but Piper lets off at 4. Pier smirks while Mia sputters and drags herself up the ropes. Piper brings Mia around to SLAP her again! Piper CHOPS Mia in the corner! Piper scoops, Mia slips free, and Mia HEEL KICKS! Then wrench and EAT- NO, Piper powers out, whips, but Mia ducks ‘n’ dodges! Into a SCRAPBUSTER! Cover, Piper wins!

Winner: Piper Niven, by pinfall

The “Loch Ness Slam” puts Mia away, will Piper become the monster that devours the roster until she is champion?

Backstage interview with Baron Corbin.

Cathy Kelley brings up JBL’s “unsettling words” for Corbin and ended their business partnership. What is Corbin’s response to all that? Corbin says it’s been a rather depressing week and- Wait, there’s word something is happening in the ring! It’s SAMI ZAYN! Fans fire up as Sami paces around with a mic in hand! “Hey! Look, I’m not here to hold up the show. But there’s something I need to say, and there’s someone I need to say it to. And I’m not sure I’m gonna have the chance after this Saturday at Elimination Chamber in Montreal. So… Cody Rhodes. I know you’re back there, buddy. If you’ll please indulge me, and come to this ring right now.”

Fans are a little torn, but here comes the American Nightmare! Fans sing along with his theme, and the pyro goes off as Cody makes his way down the ramp. Cody goes to the ring, gets a mic of his own, and fans fire up as he stands face to face with Sami. Cody says, “Sami, welcome to Raw. What do you wanna talk about?” Sami says last week on Raw, Cody had this verbal exchange with Paul Heyman and it set the world on fire, and for good reason. There was a lot to unpack there. But there was one thing Cody said that has been replaying in Sami’s mind over and over and over and he can’t stop thinking about it. It is when Cody said that it looks more and more like it’ll be Cody VS SAMI at WrestleMania.

Sami came all this way here to look Cody dead in the eyes. Sami wants to hear it from Cody. Tell him face to face, man to man, right now. Was that just lip service? Or does Cody believe Sami can beat Roman Reigns? Fans chant “YES! YES! YES!” because they all believe! As for Cody, he says, “Sami, my bandwidth is really dedicated to what I’ve been saying, winning the WWE Undisputed Universal Championship. So I’m sorry if I don’t have a lot left over to BS you. When I said I think you can beat Roman Reigns, that you will beat Roman Reigns, I meant it. When I said that you could be, and most likely would be, my opponent at WrestleMania, I believed it!”

Fans cheer that, and chant, “This is Awesome!” But Cody continues to say that, “Respectfully, I don’t think that’s what this is about here. Does it really matter what I believe? I think what matters is, what do you believe?” Does Sami Zayn believe in Sami Zayn beating Roman Reigns?  Sami says, “Do you want the truth?” Fans sing “Ole~ ole ole ole~! Ole~ ole~!” and Sami says the truth is, Sami doesn’t know. Sami doesn’t! Because Cody hasn’t seen what Sami has seen. Sami has been in the trenches with The Bloodline, he’s stood shoulder to shoulder with Roman Reigns for nine MONTHS. He has been in the dugout making game plans! The Bloodline always finds a way!

And this thing about Roman being in God Mode isn’t a catchphrase. Roman is as good as he says he is, he is operating on a level higher than he has ever been before! Sami has SEEN it! Guys bigger than Sami, stronger than Sami, walk into a match with Roman, fully believing in their hearts that they were the one, and every single one has gone down! So now Sami is supposed to believe that after all this, almost 900 DAYS, that Sami is the one? Fans cheer, but Sami says “Look, if you’re asking me if I believe I am capable of beating Roman Reigns, yes! Yes I believe that! If you’re asking me if I believe I am capable of becoming Universal Champion, yes I believe that!

“If you’re asking me if I think I am worthy of being WrestleMania main event material, YES I BELIEVE THAT! I have to believe that! I have to believe that with every fiber of my being! Because if I don’t believe that, no one else will, Cody. But if you’re asking me if I actually think that I’m gonna be the one walking out of Montreal as the new Undisputed Universal Champion… I don’t know. Okay, Cody? I don’t know!” Fans chant “YOU CAN DO IT!” but Cody speaks up. “So, you don’t know? That’s what you’re saying to me, you don’t know? It seems like everybody here knows!

“It seems like your hometown of Montreal, where they watched you as an upstart wrestler, and they’re gonna be chanting your name, it seems like they know. I haven’t been where you been, I haven’t watched Roman Reigns up close, but I watched him from the sidelines. I watched him when he became champion until now. And you’re right, everybody has fallen. But here’s the other thing: there’s dissention in the Bloodline for the first time ever in his Bloodline, and that’s because of you.

“There’s cracks in the armor, holes in the scales, and that’s because of you! The idea that the greatest champion of our generation could possibly be dethrone becoming a reality is because of you! This awesome moment in time, that we’re all here for, is because of you! You wanna say that Roman Reigns is God Mode? Well put it on a T-shirt and print it, it looks real good there. But Roman Reigns is a MAN, Sami. You crack him open at the Elimination Chamber and you find out for yourself! I won the 2023 Royal Rumble, I punched my ticket, Michael Cole said it on commentary, he said ‘Finish the story! Finish the story! Finish the story!’

“I intend to finish my story, YOU need to finish YOURS!” Fans fire up for that and even Sami looks inspired. Cody says one more thing: “I don’t wanna see you on Raw next Monday. Because I’d rather see you at WrestleMania!” Fans like the sound of that! Both men look to the sign, then look at each other. Has the American Nightmare just helped the Great Liberator find the fire he needs to pull off a Montreal miracle?

Nikki Cross walks up to Carmella backstage.

The Fabulous Princess asks where Crazy Cross has been, but Nikki says she was playing hide and seek with her new friend. What new friend? Also, back up, she’s way too close. They just have to get through this Six Woman Tag that they were forced into, and then focus on Saturday and the Elimination Chamber. Speaking of which, where is their other teammate? Asuka sneaks up behind Mella with her Kabuki mask. Asuka takes it off to reveal her demon clown mask and Mella can’t believe how weird they all are. Nikki and Asuka lock eyes, but then Candice LeRae walks in. Candice asks just what is up with Nikki. She was stalking her, what is going on?

Nikki reaches out, Candice asks her not to. Nikki just laughs as she walks away. Will Mella and her Raw roster mates be able to defend their home turf against SmackDown’s Liv Morgan, Raquel Rodriguez & Natalya?

Backstage interview with Baron Corbin, take two.

Cathy tries to talk with Corbin again, apologizing for earlier. Corbin has it all stop, because we all saw what happened last week. Corbin says he’s better off without JBL. JBL dragged him down, gave him bad advice, and hobbled around in the cowboy hat. That guy is the past. Forget about JBL. Corbin is going to remind us of who he is. He is so sick and tired of disrespect. Speaking of which, Cathy had an interview with Corbin earlier, but cut away for Sami Zayn. FOR SAMI ZAYN! Corbin hates to rain on the parade, but at Elimination Chamber, Roman Reigns DESTROYS Sami in front of his family and friends. “In no world does Sami Zayn beat Roman.”

But here’s a question: Do you know who the last person to beat Roman is? CORBIN! He did that! And now we look to the Royal Rumble. Corbin was blindsided by Brock Lesnar! Otherwise, Corbin would’ve punched his ticket to WrestleMania where he’d beat Roman again! But now Roman has another opponent that he will walk striaght through in Cody Rhodes. “A guy who takes eight months to go home and nurse a minor injury.” But Cody walks i n and hears that. Corbin says Cody was handed the #30 spot. Corbin just doesn’t get it, he’s not impressed, waht does everyone see in him? Cody’s a joke, his brother’s a joke, his DAD is a joke!

Cody fires off on Corbin! Fans fire up as the brawl goes into gorilla and then on stage! Cody wants a ref, he wants a match NOW! Cody whips Corbin into the tron! And then DECKS him down the ramp! Cody sends Corbin into railing! Off comes the tie, free souvenir! Cody fires hands, puts Corbin in the ring, but Corbin hits back! Corbin CLUBS Cody, thrashes him around, then says yeah, ring the bell!

Cody Rhodes VS Baron Corbin!

Corbin rushes in but Cody sends him out! Then Cody DIVES! In a suit! Cody throws off his suit shirt, drags Corbin up and throws more hands! Cody TOSSES Corbin into the timekeeper’s area! Cody refreshes the ring count, storms back over, but Corbin SMACKS Cody off the barriers! Corbin then scoops Cody, but Cody slips free to POST him! Cody slides back in to again refresh the count, and fans taunt “BUM ASS CORBIN!” Corbin ROCKS Cody, brings him to the desk, but Cody throws hands! They brawl up there, Corbin falls over and hits barriers. Cody goes right after him, to RAM him into steel steps!

Corbin slides into the ring but Cody is right after him! Cody goes up the corner, leaps over Corbin, and kicks low! RHODES UPPERCUT! Corbin wobbles, CODY CUTTER!! Fans fire up with Cody, he waits on Corbin to stand, CROSS RHODES!! Cover, Cody wins!

Winner: Cody Rhodes, by pinfall

Cody wins in slacks, he isn’t slacking off before WrestleMania! Will the American Nightmare be unstoppable until he finishes his story?

Team SmackDown meets at gorilla.

Natalya cannot get over that Becky and Bayley are weaseling their way into the Elimination Chamber match. These three earned their way in, it just blows her mind. Liv gets what Natty is saying, she really does, but as far as she’s concerned, Becky or Bayley will be just another person to beat on her Road to WrestleMania. So then, Liv doesn’t see Natty as a threat? That’s a huge, huge mistake. Liv wasn’t saying that but- Raquel shouts over their arguing and tells them to focus on tonight. Natty turns around to rain down fists! Mella hits back, and has a GUILLOTINE! Natty endures, fights up, and powers free to SLAM Mella down! Natty and Mella crawl, reach out, hot tags to Nikki and Liv! Liv CLOBBERS Nikki, CLOBBERS her again, and then kicks, KICKS and ENZIGURIS! Liv kips up and fans fire up! The Empress of Tomorrow just tore into everyone, as if this was already the Chamber! Will Asuka do it all again and head to WrestleMania? Or will someone in this field finally be ready for Asuka?

The Alpha Academy talks backstage.

Otis is having himself a heavily-covered-in-mustard hot dog while Chad Gable says this time last year, they were Raw Tag Team Champions. But then something went wrong. Gable rewrote the curriculum and- Wait, is Otis even listening? Otis says the best hot dogs in the world come from Coney Island! Gable takes the dog away and says, “You know this are terrible for you, right?” Otis says yes. But the nitrates and toxins, yuck. Gable throws the hot dog away, and it hits Mansoor in the face! Mansöôr is furious! Maxxine Dupri introduces herself, and lets Otis know she is talent director of THE Maximum Male Models modeling agency.

Maxxine says they’re looking for “the face and physique” for their new campaign. Has he ever considered modeling? Gable mistakes her question being directed at her. Gable has in fact done some modeling in the past, but he takes care of his body like a Greed god. He’s more of a role model. Maybe a hand model. Mace and Mansoor laugh, but Maxxine hushes them. And she corrects Gable, she was talking to Otis. Or, “Otīs,” as she puts it. Oits likes the sound of that. Maxxine gives him her card, and says they’ll be in touch. Oh, that’s good networking. Bad watermark, though. But then Bronson Reed walks in, and chuckles as he actually dwarfs Otis.

Bronson Reed heads out, ready for his match with Mustafa Ali. Will the Beacon be washed away by a Tsunami in Brooklyn?

Bronson Reed VS Mustafa Ali!

Tonight’s already been big, but now it’s COLOSSAL! Will Bronson prove he’s the top dog in the WWE? Or will Ali be able to slow him down before the US Championship Elimination Chamber?

Backstage interview with Edge & Beth Phoenix.

Cathy is with the Grit Couple, and notes the earlier brawl with Judgment Day. Any comments on what happened? Edge has one. “I’m tired of this. For a year now, week after week, back and forth with the Judgment Day, and quite frankly, I’m sick of them. But they pulled one over on us. An old trick from the Rated R Playbook, but it’s not gonna matter. At Elimination Chamber, we show them exactly what’s gonna happen, and it’s not gonna be pretty.” Beth adds, “We’re gonna remind the Judgment Day why exactly we’re called The Grit Couple.” Beth and Edge head out, will they finally tear down what Edge started?

The Miz heads to the ring!

The Hollywood A-Lister is already dressed in his ring gear because he knows he has his match with Rick Boogs tonight. But first, he’ll host another episode of MizTV, with his guest being the Visionary, the Revolutionary, Seth Freakin’ Rollins! What will The Architect have to say just days before he enters the Elimination Chamber? We find out, after the break.

Raw returns and Miz welcomes us back to the Most Must-See WWE Talk Show, and says he wants to talk about Elimination Chamber! First and foremost, why is he NOT IN IT?! But he told himself he wasn’t gonna make this about himself, so he won’t. Instead, he introduces his guest, the Architect of this business, the mastermind who is that freakin’ good! But where is Rollins’ head? In the Chamber? Or in the social media squabble he has with Logan Paul? Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome SETH FREAKIN’ ROLLINS! Rollins makes his entrance and Miz rocks out to the theme. Wait, Rollins is wearing Astro boots?

Brooklyn sings Rollins’ song, and Miz is speechless over seeing Rollins strut around in those goofy red boots. Rollins takes a seat, fans sing some more, and Miz asks, “Are you guys done?” They’re not, they keep going, “OH~ OHH~ OHHH~!” Miz says they only get ten minutes! So to get going, Miz speaks for everyone when he asks, “WHAT’RE THOSE~!?” Rollins gets a kick out of that, and Rollins, “It’s called STYLE, Miz! I know you wouldn’t know a damn thing about it! HAHAHAHA!” Rollins sits back down and Miz hopes Rollins won’t wear those in the Elimination Chamber.

But speaking of, the Chamber is unforgiving, and it needs undivided focus. But Rollins’ focus must be split between Logan Paul and the United States title. Rollins tells Miz that the “fine folks of Brooklyn don’t wanna talk about that dumpster fire of a human being! No…! They came here tonight to sing, baby~!” The fans do sing, “OH~ OHH~ OHHH~!” Miz says if he wanted to hear them sing, he’d listen to someone who is good, like Taylor Swift. The fans are just jealous that Miz has tickets and they don’t. But Miz doesn’t care what the fans want when the fans don’t know what they want, he just knows what Miz wants.

And what Miz wants is to talk about Logan Paul. Logan called Rollins a clown, and now he has the boots to match. Rollins says that he doesn’t know how Miz grew up, but how Rollins was raised, “If you ain’t got nothing nice to say, don’t say nothing at all.” Miz figures Rollins’ mom would be disappointed then. Because let’s talk about that. Rollins got eliminated from the Royal Rumble BY LOGAN PAUL! And yet Rollins talks about him on Twitter, Instagram, on the Pat McAfee Show, but now here on TV? Why? Why won’t he talk about Logan in the ring or in the WWE or in front of the fans here?

“SHUT UP, MIKE!!” Fans echo that, “SHUT UP, MIKE!” but Rollins says fine, if Miz wants to know why, WrestleMania is why! Look at that sign. Rollins entire life, all he’s ever wanted is to main event and headline WrestleMania! To be on the marquee and to close the show. THAT matters to Rollins. It matters to Miz, it matters to every single person in this arena, “because we love this!” Rollins calms himself and the fans sing for him again. Rollins continues with, “And I love that. But you know who doesn’t love this? You know who doesn’t give a damn about that dream? Logan Paul.”

Rollins says Logan Paul is selfish, soulless, and only cares about lining his own pockets! Logan just wants to be famous and he doesn’t care at whose expense. So Rollins isn’t saying Logan’s name in this ring is because he doesn’t deserve it! Fans agree with that! “All Logan Paul wants, all he wants in life, is attention, but what he needs is to have his teeth kicked in.” Miz says Rollins might be a bit jealous. Rollins says we all know Miz is stupid, but he can’t be that stupid. Rollins isn’t jealous of Logan Paul. But Miz says he is NOT stupid! Fans chant, “YES YOU ARE!” Rollins tells Brooklyn to help him out. Is Miz stupid? “YES! YES! YES!”

Miz says he is NOT stupid!! He and Rollins are the only two-time Grand Slam Champions in the WWE, but Miz is the only one who has headlined WrestleMania! Yeah, the guy you’re calling stupid headlined WrestleMania, Rollins’ dream, something Rollins won’t get in his lifetime, because of Logan Paul! So Rollins wants to stomp Logan Paul with his stupid Super Mario boots, huh? Rollins DECKS Miz!! And then CLOBBERS him with a chair! Fans fire up as Rollins aims from the corner! But Austin Theory drags Rollins outta the ring!! The Now appeared outta nowhere, but Rollins SMACKS him off the desk, and BOOTS him!

Miz WRECKS Rollins with a dropkick, then SMACKS him off the desk! Miz puts Rollins in the ring, full nelsons, but Rollins arm-drags free and SUPERKICKS! Those boots work after all! Fans fire up and Rollins aims from the corner. CURB STOMP!! But Theory gets back in! Fireman’s carry, A TOWN DOWN!! Theory stands over Rollins, picks up his US Championship, and holds it over Rollins. “How many times do you gotta do this? You are the past! I’m done with you! And at Elimination Chamber, you’re gonna realize, we are in the Now!” Will Theory prove he’s the one everyone should focus on heading into WrestleMania?

Rick Boogs pumps up!

We can spot MVP talking with Cedric Alexander & Shelton Benjamin in the background, but Elias walks up to Boogs. The Drifter says he has heard all the comparisons between the two of them, from Elias’ amazing physique to Boogs’ impressive one, to Elias’ chart topping songs to Boogs’ impressive musical talents. Now, there could be a lot of pressure being compared to the living legend of Elias, but Elias doesn’t want Boogs to worry. Boogs may be new on Raw, but if he loses to Miz tonight, don’t let it get you down. Boogs thanks Elias for that. Elias wishes Boogs good luck. And maybe, just maybe, they could do a collaboration one day.

Boogs says that is righteous! He was born and bred to rip and shred, and THICK RICK shreds Miz tonight! He is even more pumped! HE’S BOOGIN’ OUT!! But wait, Miz is out! How can Miz have his match with Boogs like this?

The Miz VS Rick Boogs!

Raw is picture in picture as the ring crew shifts things over from the MizTV set to normal ring, and that’s accompanied by a replay of what happened between Theory and Rollins. Miz finally comes to and crawls his way to ropes. Miz drags himself up, but is rather dazed after that Astro boot stomp. Miz seems to remember what happened, and is upset. But then Boogs makes his entrance! Raw returns to single picture as Boogs slides into the ring, but Miz gets a mic. “Hold on, hold on, hold on!” Miz tells the “meat head” to wait. Does he have any braincells up there between the two bulging veins in his head?

Did Boogs just see what happened? There’s no way they can have this match! Fans boo but Boogs checks with the ref. The bell rings, Miz protest, but Boogs hits an EXPLODER! Boogs hauls Miz up, wrenches and pump handles, for bicep curls! Fans count along and Boogs gets a set of ten in! And then he TOSSES Miz away! Fans fire up with Boogs, he scoops Miz and pops him up to a trophy lift! And then a PRESS SLAM! Cover, Boogs wins!

Winner: Rick Boogs, by pinfall

Miz just went for a #BoogsCruise, and Brooklyn is ready to rock! Will Boogs shred his way to a WrestleMania moment?

Chelsea Green complains to Adam Pearce.

The Hot Mess knows he knows who she is! She is THE Chelsea Green, not some clown who deserves to be humiliated on national television! And after last week, both on Raw and SmackDown, she sent strongly worded emails to the General Managers. Pearce knows, because those emails came to him! And then he replied to those emails, saying he’d take that all under advisement. Because again, HE is the General Manager! Well, okay then. He will surely treat her like the star that she is. She was NOT ready for Asuka, so she demands a rematch! She should be in the Chamber! How about tonight, in that Triple Threat, it’s a Fatal 4 Way!

Yeah, not happening. Then, she isn’t leaving until he puts her in! He raises a hand but she says if he touches her, she’ll scream. She feels very threatened right now. Pearce leaves, even though this is his office. How is Pearce going to handle such a diva on the Road to WrestleMania?

Backstage interview with The Judgment Day, take two.

Byron is now with the fully assembled Judgment Day and says after that surprise ambush on Beth Phoenix, does this mean they have the upper hand going into Elimination Chamber? Finn tells Byron that the Judgment Day always has the upper hand. They beat Edge & Beth again, and it’s starting to freak Finn out. It feels like Edge & Beth like being beat. But fine by Finn, cuz at the Chamber, it’ll just happen again and again and again. Dom says the thing about Edge & Beth and even his pathetic father, Rey Mysterio, is that they were good. But the game has passed them by.

Priest says they’ proved that the JD is the top of the game. Priest will walk out of the Chamber the NEW United States Champion. Then at WrestleMania, Rhea walks in challenger, but she walks out the NEW SmackDown Women’s Champion. Rhea says she couldn’t have put it better herself. Charlotte Flair keeps saying she’s on a different level, but the only level she’s on is the one below Rhea. Rhea will rise and take the SmackDown Women’s title at WrestleMania, and that rise starts this Saturday when she and Finn “beat the living crap out of The Grit Couple.” The Judgement Day heads out, Dom even taking Byron’s mic. But will the Road to WrestleMania belong to the Judgment Day?

Triple Threat: Bianca Belair VS Bayley VS Becky Lynch!

The E-S-T wants to T-E-S-T herself against the B-E-S-T the WWE has to offer, and she’s doing that right here tonight! She’s faced and beaten The Role Model, she’s faced and beaten The Man, but can she beat them both at the same time? Or will someone win their way into a historic SEVEN Women Elimination Chamber match?

Raw goes picture in picture as Becky makes her entrance. The bell rings and Bayley talks trash with Becky. They start shoving, then Bianca DECKS Bayley! Bianca goes to a corner, Bayley goes to ropes, and Becky has a choice.

Becky fires a forearm on Bayley but Bayley gives it back. They go back and forth with shots, Becky gets the edge and fans fire up! Becky UPPERCUTS, SOBATS then runs, but ducks a lariat to go up and JUMP KICK! But Bianca scoops Becky! Becky slips fere, reels her in, and she kicks Bayley. Becky brings Bayley in, DOUBLE DDTS! Cover on Bianca, TWO!! The toughEST indeed and Becky grows frustrated while Raw goes picture in picture.

Becky hears the fans rallying and she feeds off that energy. Bayley goes to a corner, Becky runs in around the world, and she forearms! Becky stomps a mudhole, JUMP KICKS, then she drags Bayley up to clinch! BECKSPLODER! Bayley flounders away and Becky builds speed, baseball slide dropkick! Bayley goes to the ramp. Becky goes to the apron, FLYING FOREARM! Becky drags Bayley up and puts her back in, but Bianca HANDSPRING KICKS Becky and then MOONSAULTS on Bayley! Cover, TWO!! Bayley is still in this, meaning Becky is still in this. Bayley rolls all the way out of the ring, and Bianca grows frustrated.

Becky climbs, Bianca turns around into the MISSILE DROPKICK! Cover, TWO! Becky clamps onto the arm, DISARM-HER!! Bianca flails, but Bayley CLOBBERS Becky! Bayley runs to drop an elbow on Becky! Then they feed Becky to Bayley for the cover, TWO!! Bayley tosses Bianca out to DMG CTRL and they mug her, too! Then they put Bianca in and Bayley covers, TWO! Bayley is frustrated but it’s gonna take more than that to win this.

Bayley drags Bianca up, talks trash, but Bianca hits a JAWBREAKER! Bianca waistlocks, Bayley bucks the O’Conner, and then she clinches Bianca! But Bianca slips free of the Bayley2Belly to roll her up! TWO!! Bayley escapes, swings, but into chicken wings! Raw returns to single picture in time for the GlamEST Slam into buckles! Bianca pushes Becky away, covers Bayley, and Bianca wins!!

Winner: Bianca Belair, by pinfall (NO changes to the Women’s Elimination Chamber match)

The EST might have just proved she really is THE B-E-S-T in the WWE! She overcame two opponents, two interlopers, and even bowled over the six contenders coming for her title! Will it not even matter who comes out of the Elimination Chamber match? Or did all this only light a fire inside Liv, Raquel, Natty, Mella, Nikki and Asuka?

My Thoughts:

A great episode for Raw, especially given it was a go-home show. Though, it also felt like a rather talkative Raw for even a three-hour program. Sami and Cody had a great promo segment to follow everything from both Raw and SmackDown last week, and it really fired fans up for the prospect of Cody VS Sami at Mania. But at the same time, I don’t foresee WWE changing their plans just on this fan reaction. They’re definitely locked in with Roman VS Cody, but the Bloodline story will definitely give us compelling stuff on Saturday so that Sami losing won’t sting that bad. I was a little surprised Cody had that brawl and then match with Corbin.

Corbin’s ongoing roller coaster ride is one of the stranger things in WWE, but maybe they realized his teaming with JBL wasn’t working the way it was meant to and they’re quickly rethinking this phase of Corbin’s career. Honestly, they gave up on “Bum Ass Corbin” too soon, and fans still chant that at him anyway. There was also a little redundancy in the promos from Judgment Day and Grit Couple after the tag match and brawling, but I suppose they needed to say what was said to hype the Mixed Tag. Judgment Day wins the tag match and the brawl, meaning the go-home math favors Edge & Beth winning, so chances are Finn takes the pin as Rhea needs to stay strong.

The contract signing segment was pretty good, though I think Lesnar lost his train of thought at the start. I do like that Lashley trolled Lesnar by having his own table at the top of the stage. I can’t remember who did that before in the WWE but it worked out here. Lashley standing tall signals that Lesnar will find a way to win at Elimination Chamber, since Lashley really has gotten the better of Lesnar before this. Then maybe we get an even bigger battle to finish this off at WrestleMania. And we got a fairly hilarious promo from Alpha Academy and Maximum Male Models. Maxxine finally offers “Otīs” a spot in the faction, I can’t wait to see where this goes.

Chelsea Green continues to build that Karen Heat- Er, Heel Heat, and as I said for SmackDown, her character would’ve been the perfect thing to help Lacey Evans come off as a Face. Lacey Evans’ character was about putting in the work, before Vince ruined things by going through with his idiotic plan, but maybe there’s still hope of Face Lacey should she interact with Chelsea. Good match out of Piper and Mia, but it makes sense Piper wins as she’s building back up after finally becoming Piper again. Between her interaction with Mia and Candice last week, and Nikki creeping around Candice now, I wonder if they’re going to reunite Piper and Nikki as a team.

Great stuff out of MizTV. For one, I would never have guessed Rollins would show up in those goofy Astro Boy boots. But also, great passion out of Rollins as Miz brings up Logan Paul and that growing feud. Rollins is surely still going to have a match with Logan Paul at WrestleMania, but the things Rollins said definitely fit a lot of the feelings wrestlers and wrestling fans have about wrestling, and also just feelings a lot of people have about Logan Paul. As such, don’t expect Rollins to win the US Championship Chamber match. But also, since Austin Theory stood tall in beating Rollins down, I would think someone new is gonna have that title.

And I would love if it was Bronson Reed. He had a great match with Ali, though it was basically a squash. Bronson came back to WWE after riding high in NJPW, so surely HHH promised him something. The US Championship coming out of Elimination Chamber and probably even through WrestleMania, that would be good stuff to promise. And back to Miz, of course he loses to Boogs again. Boogs and Elias are also building to something, and this story could be the substitute for what was meant to happen between Elias and Matt Riddle. Boogs and Elias can try to be a team, but then Elias’ pride will force them to be enemies, and we get a pretty fun match for like the Mania go-home or even Mania preshow.

And of course, just great stuff out of the Raw Women’s Championship story. Great Six Woman Tag from the Chamber entrants, and I absolutely love that Asuka turned on her team to beat down everyone. Now, go-home math would suggest Asuka isn’t winning, but I would also love to see Asuka defy the go-home math and earn that WrestleMania match. We got a really good opening promo segment from Becky, Bayley, Pearce and Bianca, and that Triple Threat was great stuff, too.

Now, nothing against Bianca, but I would’ve had Becky win tonight’s Triple Threat. Honestly, what’s keeping them from making the Elimination Chamber more than six people? You start with three, add the other four as you go, and that’d make things even more chaotic and even more impressive to win. And that goes for having the seventh be Becky, because then whoever eliminates Becky gets that rub. But I suppose this is a sign that the plan is for Becky and some mystery teammates to take on DMG CTRL at Mania, which is also fine.

My Score: 8.8/10

Broken Matt attempts to procure the Championship of the World! Joe Hendry faces Frankie Kazarian! Jordynne issues an open challege, all at Against All Odds!

I’ll be honest, since the lead up hasn’t exactly sparked much excitement from me, I can’t really tell what might get relegated to Countdown and what will be on the main show aside from major title stories. So with that being said, I’ll cover the Countdown this time around, because well…who knows what will be on it.

Let’s hope that the bit of momentum with the WWE working relationship and the stories coming out about the locker room being seemingly happy with the direction of things; have to hope that will start to equate to a product that makes some damn sense.

Countdown to Against All Odds: Jonathan Gresham vs Sami Callihan

Callihan attacks The Octopus on the outside before the bell rings. A few chops around the ring and bounces Gresham’s face off the post twice. Sami goes for the Cactus Driver on the outside, but Gresham rotates all the way through to grab the ropes and counter Sami. Gouges Sami’s face, breaks fingers Pentagon style, and Sami retreats to a different side of the outside of the ring. Octopus chases and keeps working on the hand, but Sami counters and starts going for a few more Knife Edge Chops. Sami tries to Lawn Dart Gresham into the post, but Gresham slips and shoves Sami into the post. Now Octopus back to working on the left hand and arm. Arm Wringers and Uppercuts right into the elbow.

Sami gets some control back, rolls Gresham into the ring and now the match can officially start…OR NOT! Gresham rolls back out and heads under the ring so Sami goes hunting for Octopus. Gresham grabs the left arm from under the ring, uses a chair since the ring obscures the referee’s vision, and then slowly they head back in the ring. Soccer Ball kick to the injured arm, and Gresham continues to try and work on the arm, but Sami is fighting back. Sami tries to Irish Whip, but the sells the left arm! Callihan adjusts his offense and tries to use his legs and only the good right arm. But as soon as he goes for a Cactus Driver, the arm sell happens again.

Gresham rips the mask off the referee, Kushida shows up in a Doc Brown gimmick and with a mask. He attacks Gresham while the ref is distracted to swab out the ink and place it into a vial. Sami connects with the Cactus Driver ’97 and wins.

Insanely gimmicky, extremely stupid. Feels like a dumbass thing that would happen on DDT, not an American program. So they made Gresham talk last night, which ruins the essence of a evil character, and now they have him lose with Kushida trying to do science on what the ink is. I can’t properly express how many brain cells I feel like I lost.

Countdown to Against All Odds: TNA Knockouts Tag Team Titles: DeMALISH (Masha Slamovich & Alisha Edwards) vs The Hex (Marti Belle & Allysin Kay)

Marti and Alisha start, Marti uses Alisha’s face like a speed bag, tags in Allysin, quick tandem work gives The Hex a nearfall. Alisha manages to run to make the tag, and Masha comes in, but immediately starts dominating Masha. Tandem Snapmare, Fun Splash, Senton, PK, for another near fall from The Hex. Allysin tries to shoot Masha across, Masha gets the Arm Wringer, drives Allysin into her corner, but a Boot stops Masha. Allysin tries to get out and Alisha grabs Allysin by the hair to pull her back.

Alisha gets in a few quick shots, Allysin tries to fight back, but the Eye Rake evens the score. Alisha tags out, Hip Attack from Masha into repeated Snapmares with the hair into a near fall. Short Arm Lariats, Masha connects on two, Allysin counters the third, they both hit the ropes, stereo Clothesline spot into the simultaneous tags. Marti beats on Alisha in the corner, Double Knees into a two count. SAVAT KICK from Masha to level Marti, Allysin takes out Masha, Delish from Alisha, Marti hits The Stroke, and all four are down for a few moments. Rolling Forearm into Saito Suplex for another near fall on Alisha. Hex Marks the…nope Alisha slips the move, Masha gets in things breakdown into a sloppy fight, Alisha tries to shove Allysin into Marti but hits Masha. HEX MARKS THE SPOT, Masha makes the save, barely! Dual spots in corners, Alisha fights off Allysin with the Avalanche Powerbomb, Masha Electric Chairs Marti, STEINERIZER! DeMALISH retain.

Mike Santana & Steve Maclin vs The Rascalz (Trey Miguel & Zachary Wentz)

Rascalz try to utilize their speed and teamwork advantage with a tag out the gates as Trey distracts Santana, Wentz runs in, and they match each other. Counters, dodges, really fun equal footing but different styles opening. Simultaneous tags Trey and Maclin are in, Maclin quickly takes advantage of Trey, tags in Santana and they go for a Dual Suplex, but Wentz catches Trey and then takes out Maclin. Santana gets surprised by Trey, Body Scissors into a Double Stomp, then Trey tags in Wentz and a quick Tandem kick. Santana tries to fight back against Wentz, but Wentz eats a few chops and then turns it around. Tag out to Trey, Trey connects with a low single leg Dropkick for a near fall. Kick Rush from Rascalz, Wentz tries to punctuate with a Stomp on the back of the head but Santana dodges and Double Lariats The Rascalz. Maclin tags in and starts stacking up the Rascalz and beating them like they owe him money. Maclin tries a SCUD but Wentz catches him with a Cutter in the ropes, shortcut double team offense.

The ref was distracted with Santana trying to get in to stop the double team, so Maclin kicks out easily because of a slow start to the count. Trey with a cheap choke, then he tags in, goes for a disrespectful Half Crab and Santana just kicks Trey in the back. Rascalz find interesting ways to keep working over Maclin, Trey goes for a Popping Meteora, but Maclin stop it, turns it into an Electric Chair style counter and tags in Santana. Santana with the hot tag, takes out both Rascalz, stacks them interestingly to pull off a tandem DDT. Maclin and Santana work together, Maclin kicks Santana to send him into his Rolling Buck Fifty, Maclin then connects with a Busaiku Knee, and only 2 since Trey breaks it up! Rascalz finally get the best of things, a tandem Rope Assisted Pedigree with a Swanton from Wentz, but Maclin kicks out.  MACLIN EATS THE CHELSEA GREEN FUCK YOUR FACE IN THE CORNER DROPKICK SPOT!  Rolling Double Stomp! Santana rolls in to make the save, Hot Fire Flame attempt but Maclin gets the knees up. Cradle attempt, but they push off Maclin into Santana. Superkick Party on Maclin, Buckshot Lariat from Santana wipes out Trey, Enzuigiri from Santana. They set each other up, Caught in the Crosshairs , Spin the Block! Santana and Maclin win.

This is the first objectively smart thing TNA has done in the post-Scott era. Maclin and Santana were amazing together. This is a pairing that people will want to see again, and if they double down on it being a “one off”, it will make people want to see it again. Damn good stuff here.

PCO vs Rich Swann w/AJ Francis

Swann runs around tries to get frisky, but PCO grab him, Boots him, chucks him into the corner, Hesitation Dropkick to the back of Rich’s head for a near fall. AJ tries to pick the ankle, PCO kinda cares, but then eats a Superkick that does nothing. PCO charges, Rich hits the Low Bridge and PCO crashes to the floor. 450 from the apron, and Rich throws him back in and starts kicking PCO and hits a Bronco Buster.PCO fires back up, levels Rich, drapes him over the bottom rope and hits the Guillotine Leg Drop, driving Swann’s face into the mat. AJ grabs Rich’s foot and puts it on the bottom rope, then faceplants PCO on the apron. Rich takes too long to capitalize, PCO trips Swann, Lungblower from the corner spot, PCO Dives on AJ to try and equal the playing field. PCO-SAULT, 1-2-3, PCO wins.

SDL’s music hits, she walks out smiling and looking like a snack. Asks for the mic, and SDL plays with the crowd about different ways to say yes or no. Her answer is: OUI!

TNA Tag Team Championships: The Nemeth Bros (Ryan & Nic Nemeth) vs The System (Eddie Edwards & Brian Myers) (c)

Brian Myers starts with Ryan, Ryan gets a quick advantage, they go for a tandem Arm Wringer/Neckbreaker combo. Myers tags out, Nic tries to throw a Superkick but Lish grabs the foot. WAIT DIRTY DANGO shows up out of nowhere and rats out Alisha?! We haven’t seen him in months since they punked out Oleg Prudius and him against Josh Alexander. So Lish gets ejected but The System jumps on Nic and tries to get in a few quick shots to try and end this quickly now they don’t have insurance.

Belly to Back Suplex from Myers after Eddie uses the ropes for a cheap choke, Eddie officially tags back in, and just quick tags and snappy offense from The System. Myers goes for the Manhattan Drop but Nic gets away from him, tags out to Ryan and a few quick attacks into a Rude Awakening for a near fall. Myers checks Ryan with a Boot to the gut, Eddie tags in, Eddie bounces off the ropes and Body Checks Ryan, while Myers connects with the Spear, but Nic makes the save! Myers shoves Ryan into their corner, Ryan tries to fight out to get to Nic, but a Drop Toe Hold puts a stop on the surge. Ryan counters with a Sunset Flip, but Myers manages to make the tag before falling over, so the pinfall doesn’t count and Eddie starts laying into Ryan. We get an “Ooo fuck Eddie Edwards” chat that pops up. Eddie goads the crowd a bit and tags in Myers. Headlock on Ryan, Ryan tries to Elbow out, but Myers stays in control and the crowd keeps talking shit to Eddie even though he’s not the legal man “fuck your fo-hawk”. Myers poses, Ryan hits a Reverse X Factor, simultaneous tags. Nic is on fire, laying everyone out, Jumping Leg Drop on Eddie for 2. Fame-ASSER! But only another 2 count.

Moose is down at ringside now, Eddie and Myers with their System Overload combo of Backpack Stunner and Elbow Drop for 2! Ryan grabs Eddie to stop Boston Knee Party, Superkick, into their Highway to the Danger Zone finish! 1-2-SOMEONE PULLS THE REF! Moose points at Dango, the ref is confused, Nic dives on Moose, Dango shows his true colors and clocks Ryan Nemeth. Boston Knee Party, The System retains the gold!

Joe Hendry w/Ace Steel vs Frankie Kazarian

Frankie Kazarian getting compared to Antonio Banderas and then calling him the dad from Spy Kids is fantastic.

Hendry and Kaz Shoulder Tackle each other, trade a couple shots and then Hendry lifts him for the stalling suplex. Kaz tries to break it with punches to the body, but Hendry holds strong and connects with the Vertical Suplex. Kaz powders to the apron, Hendry tries to collect him but gets caught with the Guillotine Leg Drop. Kaz throws a few moves together, including his Side Russian Leg Sweep for a near fall. Scoop Slam from Kaz, Springboard Guillotine Leg Drop for 2! Kaz tries to cinque in the Body Scissors and Headlock, but Hendry powers through and turns it into a Suplex to break Kaz’s momentum.

Kaz gets whipped into the corner, gets the boot up, tries a Crossbody but Hendry catches him and his the Sack of Shit into the kip up! Kaz tries the Chicken Wing to slow down Hendry trying to keep momentum, a flurry of strikes with a big PK to give Kaz some space. Fade to Black attempt, but nope, Hendry tries a Powerbomb but Kaz slips it and connects with a Back Stabber! Runs the ropes and Kaz gets caught in a Pop-Up Powerbomb for 2! Kaz tries to bait in Hendry to the apron, Hendry grabs a roll of quarters from his tights, Hendry connects with an outside in Belly to Back Suplex, but Kaz pops him with the loaded fist and gets the win!

Post match, Kaz goes for a Chicken Wing to add insult to injury, Ace Steel finally comes all the way out and clocks Kaz.

X Division Championship: Trent Seven vs Mustafa Ali (c)

Trent said the tape machines kept rolling, they show post-interview footage where Mustafa says the X Division title is a prop, he doesn’t even live in Chicago, and just freaking out. Mustafa charges Trent, Trent dodges and Mustafa bounces his face off the buckles, SEVEN STAR LARIAT! 1-2-Kick out! That was nearly a quick loss. Ali slows down Trent a few times, and the crowd is dumb and gives the “we still love you” to Ali. Ali with a Jumping DDT, then a Dive on Trent, but Trent shoves Ali into the apron and then a Dragon Suplex onto the floor. Back in the ring, Trent goes for the Corkscrew Senton but misses everything and grabs his leg.

Shotgun Dropkick into the corner from Ali, Trent absorbs and follows with a Lariat, Ali reverses Trent for another Dropkick, goes for a third but Trent catches him and Powerbombs him into the middle of the ring for a near fall. Birminghammer attempt, but Eye Gouge from Ali, Trent with an open hand Chop but Ali baits him into the corner, Gamegiri into the Rolling DDT for 2. Ali with some hammering Forearms, but Trent with a Flowsion out of nowhere to get some separation. Fighting Spirit spot, Ali does my favorite thing! He doesn’t fall for the Bop and Bang and just Roundhouse Kicks Trent in the face. Too bad Ali falls for it like 2 moves later. Ali DDTs the leg, then tries another Rolling DDT, but Trent connects with a Dragon Suplex into the Sitout Powerbomb for two. X Plex attempt, but Ali shoves Trent and the ref cowers in the corner almost bumped, Low Blow into in a Lariat for a near fall!

Ali heads to the top, Trent cuts him off, Ali flips forward out of it, Superkick rocks Trent, Ali runs up the ropes for a Superplex but AVALANCHE FLOWSION! Only 2. Birminghammer attempt, Eye Gouge again, Birminghammer attempt again, but Ali grabs the ropes, throws off Trent, slips out and then Dragon Screws the leg into the apron. Ali goes to the top, Trent meets him, they fight in the corner, Headbutt from Trent and they both crash down into the apron and bounce off to the outside. 10 Count starts, Ali decides to climb the corner, Trent slides in at 9 and eats a 450 to the back for a 2 count. Ali goes to get his belt, the referee stops him, Trent hits a Low Blow as the ref is putting the belt back, BIRMINGHAMMER! 1-2-NO!

Mustafa tries to bail, grabs the ring apron as Trent pulls him back, Chops him in the back a few times, crotches him in the corner, Avalanche BIRMINGHAMMER? Eye Gouge fights back, kicks out the leg, and then 450 to the injured legs into a Scorpion Deathlock! Trent taps out.

Josh Alexander & Eric Young vs The ABC (Ace Austin & Chris Bey)

Early on we get the typical watered down Japanese tag style of a few fancy counters like La Magistral Cradles and Suplex counters and stuff, but nothing really worth typing about. Which is smart since the last match was pretty hot, so you want to start simple and build. ABC start going for a few higher risk moves with Tandem Shoot Ins for Jumping High Kicks and Back Head Kicks. EY Up and Overs Bey, whips him into the opposite corner and tags in Josh. Josh goes for his locomotion Shoulder Tackles, Bey tries to counter it and go for an Art of Finesse, but Josh catches him and Release German Suplexes him. Teamwork from Josh, Gutbuster and Elbow Drop combination for a 2. Ace tries to get involved and Josh and Bey go for THE OLE DICK TWIST! I’m not really sure what I’m looking at beyond a meme and it’s Chicago…so I’m not surprised. But just…why.

Things break down a little everyone’s doing stuff, Josh perches Ace for the Low Crossbody but Ace dodges it! Then Ace does his Handstand dodge, Josh just grabs his Ankle though. Ace tries to hold onto the ropes to he doesn’t completely fall, Bey dives over Ace and lays out Josh but then EY flies and takes out Bey. Ace posts EY, Josh walks back in the ring and calls Ace in. Josh goes for an Avalanche Death Valley Driver, Ace fights it off, Ace hits the Flipping Outside In Headscissors. Goes for an Overhead Spin Kick, but Josh catches the foot. Ace fights out, ABC try to team up on Josh but a Suplexes both and tags out to EY. Discus Lariat into a Spicolli Driver on Ace! Bey kicks him, Ace tries something, but EY stacks them on his shoulders, they both slip him, Dual Roundhouse Kicks! But only a 2 count.

Everyone doing things in the ring, a cameraman gets taken out literally, the camera looks like scrambled porn in the 90s. Powerbreaker from Josh for 2! Rolling Senton into the Macho Elbow, but Ace makes the save. EY accidentally lays out Josh, EY tries to Piledriver Bey but Ace jumps over the world and hits The Fold on EY! Bey with the Jacknife cover and ABC win!

TNA Knockouts Championship: Jordynne Grace (c) vs Tatum Paxley

Personal concierge shows up after Tatum makes her entrance, ASH by Elegance will show up…to watch the match, as per usual.

Things start a little slow, Tatum brings that quirky unhinged Hot Topic girl energy, and Jordynne is Thicc Mama Pump. Okay Tatum counters Jordynne’s rope run by very suggestively enticing her to come into full mount. Jordynne manages to grab her foot and get her to stand up to just Reverse Side Slam her and go for the Camel Clutch. Tatum gets out of it with biting her hand, and then heads under the ring. ASH is actually telling her where she is, Jordynne tries to grab her, but Tatum pulls her into the steel ring frame. She tries to Suplex her, but Jordynne blocks a few times, so Tatum just drives her into the post.

Tatum pulls off the old Lance Storm counter into the Half Crab, but Jordynne gets out of it. Back Kick from Jordynne, Jordynne tries the Vader Bomb, but Paxley cuts her off first, tries a Rope Hung Neckbreaker, but Jordynne holds on. Hits two Vader Bombs only for near falls. Juggernaut Driver attempt, but Tatum stops it, Jordynne hits the Rolling Fent Back Elbow. They fight in the corner, Uppercut from Jordynne, KINNIKU BUSTER! We know that won’t finish the match, Tatum tries a slide and we go into a Locomotion Cradles. Paxley connects with a Spear that she rolls through beautifully, but both women have counters for counters for counters. Tatum is perched in the corner, they’re fighting on the middle rope, AVALANCHE LOBOTOMY, 1-2-NOPE! Tatum starts clawing at the ears since she had the stitches after the Roxxane Perez match. Tatum with a Seated Head and Neck Choke, but Jordynne fights through and they start slapping each other. Jordynne goes for a lazy cover, and Tatum tries to surprise her with a Guillotine Choke! Grace stands up, Jackhammer for 2!

Jordynne clubs with a few Vader Hammers, Tatum tries to counter, Grace goes for the Sp inning Backfist but Tatum ducks it the first time, but not the second. Death Valley Driver into Juggernaut Driver, and Jordynne retains!

ASH attacks Jordynne after the match but Jordynne fights her off. Covers ASH in her bottle of champagne, then takes a swig herself and walks off victorious while ASH and concierge are slipping and looking like dorks.

BROKEN RULES – TNA World Heavyweight Championship: Moose (c) vs Broken Matt Hardy

The Nemeth Fuschnikens show up and take out The System! Only Lish is now left.

Matt takes advantage of the early distraction, Twist of Fate attempt but Moose spins out but Matt turns it into the DDT. Side Effect from Hardy on the apron, then he hits the Twist of Fate on the outside. Moose sells dead weight well, Matt finally rolls him in, then Moose keeps rolling. Moose and Lish find weapons, and Moose hits Matt with a trash can lid and Baking Sheet. Moose takes one of many chairs, and just lays into Matt a handful of times. Moose barks at the camera that he’s “Gonna end his damn career”, so he fishing out a ladder from under the ring.

Moose smacks Matt with a few more chair shots and then makes a Ladder + Chair ramp contraption. Jacknife attempt from Moose, Hardy drops to his knees and Upper Cuts Moose’s balls! Then Matt starts using a chair of his own. Moose powders, Matt follows and they take this throw the crowd and goes somewhere…the camera work is a little useless. It’s like N.E.W. Indy level of “we can’t see”. I’m just assuming moves were attempt, looks like maybe a Jacknife that Matt counters and goes up high, just to do a Delete chant. I want a Balcony Level Extreme Leg Drop! But they head back to the ring, so at least now we can see, and Matt bounces Moose’s face off the post and rolls Moose in. Vertical Suplex from Matt, then he goes to the second rope, Elbow Drop for 2! Matt sets up for Twist of Fate, Moose pushes off and URANAGE counter! 1-2-kick out! Moose wanders out to find more weapons and drags out a table, as the peasants rejoice.

Propping the table in the corner, we see Moose trying to set up Matt for the Spear. they both dodge attempting to be put through the table, so Moose Sabu’s Matt with a chair. Moose sets up a pile of chairs, grabs Senor Hardy and they go up the turnbuckle Superplex into the chairs, only for 2! Alisha is also yelling at this very audible annoying Chicago fan. Moose goes for a second Chair spot, but Matt slips the Suplex and Avalanche Powerbomb into the chairs! Matt goes for the cover, but Moose kicks out! Hardy goes under the ring for a…. CARDBOARD BOX! A PARCEL OF CHIPBOARD! Moose decks Matt, opens the box and it’s Moose’s throwback Patriots Helmet. Moose puts his old helmet on, charges Matt Hardy and Matt Back Drops him into the Chekov’s Ladder+Chair. Matt goes for a table and another ladder. Is Matt gonna go for another crazy bump? OH Hardy gets a Bears helmet. Now it makes sense why it was a throwback Patriots helmet, because of the 1985 Bears Super Bowl. Matt clocks Moose with the Bears Helmet, the crowd chants “CTE”, Matt puts Moose on the table, EXTREME LEG DROP from the ladder!

Hardy puts the chair around Moose’s head, TWIST OF FATE into the chair! Goes for the cover and Alisha brings out Kendra and lights up Matt. REBY COMES OUT! She takes her earrings off and someone else is holding her baby! Spanish girl serious fighting 101! Reby hits the Twist of Fate on Lish and tries to help out Matt. Moose sees Matt coming and pulls Reby in the way! Matt spears his wife through the table and then Moose hits LIGHTS OUT!

Overall Score: 7.75/10

Well admittedly the first half of the show had a good bit of gimmicky extra bodies overbooking. Kushida, Dango and Jeff Hardy being back is definitely a positive thing with Slammiversary next up. Nic Nemeth hopefully picks up a little more steam, because early splitting time with New Japan stifled his initial impact, now with two title losses in like 4 months of activity is a little silly. Hendry getting a hold over rivalry to slow roll his rise in popularity could be ok. I think they’re not on a large enough scale to benefit more from a slow burn as opposed to cashing in now. But it’s wrestling, you never know. Plus if he gets some shine in NXT, it could be better to ride that exposure wave as well.

The card had overall solid action, even if booking was suspect at moments through the night and the audio for the Ali tape was awful…ruined the intended effect. Jordynne with the opening challenge and an at home annoyance is a good angle. System will probably get into a feud with The Hardys, ya know, while neither is injured. Moose has Hendry looming, but again, not sure how they’re gonna play that card. Also for personal reasons I wanna see if Xia continues to be SDL’s love council bestie type character now that she agreed to date PCO.

So yeah, pretty good show all things considered. The end of the show sends people home happy with Jeff Hardy returning to stand tall with Reby, Matt, Joe Hendry and the Nemeths. There’s a lot to play out. Even if somethings sound super stupid right now (looking at you Octopus and Doc Kushi). But, at least there different levels of storylines to figure out. So when it comes down to the bare bones, the show did its job and was a pretty enjoyable watch.

Storm breaks through Iron Will Windsor, and revels in the praise of her adoring public. She also holds Mariah close, but will she still have both once she passes through The Forbidden Door? Or will the Fighting Gravure Idol steal more than just the spotlight?

Backstage interview with Harley Cameron.

Arkady Aura is with The Outcasts’ crazier component, and says she’s a bit surprised to see Harley without Saraya, considering the big win last week. Yeah, yeah, who cares? Saraya is not here as a form of protest! All these women are all declaring for the Women’s Owen Hart Tournament. Oh~, declaring~! What are we? Royal subjects? Oh, a royal decree from the king! Or maybe we’re more old Southern women, “Oh, I do declare!” The only one who should be declaring anything is Saraya. Because the winner gets a world title shot at All In. And who was it that won last year at Wembley Stadium? Saraya! What a declaration!

And with that said, Saraya’s done it before, and she will do it again. And now Harley declares this interview over, goodbye. Then from Harley’s mouth to the world’s ears, will Saraya make sure she is the one crowned the 2024 Queen of Harts before crowning herself champion once again?

AEW hears from Thunder Rosa and Deonna Purrazzo.

La Mera Mera tells “Deonna, you might’ve been a little bit busy, but there were some flashing news. Saturday is the one-year anniversary of Collision. And as a tradition, Thunder Rosa always likes to pick a fight. And who else than you?” But The Virtuosa asks back, what does Rosa not understand here? Rosa’s selfishness has forced Deonna to embrace her own. But La Mera Mera isn’t owed anything. From where Deonna comes from, those who want respect must show respect. And those who refuse get respect beaten into them. Saturday Night Collision, Rosa VS Deonna, NO DISQUALIFICATIONS! And Deonna asks what Rosa thinks happens when her head collides with a chair.

Rosa says nothing will stop her from showing Deonna the real respect of a warrior. No disqualifications, no problems. Happy Anniversary, Collision! But who will celebrate by standing over the other’s battered body?

Six Man Tag: The Cage of Agony VS Solomon Tupu, Jay Marston & Kevin Gutierrez!

Brian Cage, Bishop Kaun & Toa Liona have broken away from Swerve’s House to do things their way. So far, so good, for them. But will their opponents wish it’d been another three sent into The Cage of Agony?

The trios sort out, Tupu starts against Kaun, and the two circle. Liona distracts Tupu and Kaun DROPKICKS Tupu into the corner! Kaun CHOPS, then fires off forearms! The ref counts, Kaun bumps Tupu off buckles to then fire off more forearms. Kaun CHOPS, the ref has him back off, and Kaun runs in. Tupu goes up and over, keeps moving, and Gutierrez tags in. Kaun CLOBBERS Tupu but Gutierrez kicks low! Gutierrez whips but Kaun reverses. Gutierrez ducks ‘n’ dodges, but Liona sneaks a tag. Gutierrez hurdles but turns around into a BOOT! Liona CLOBBERS Gutierrez! Liona looms over Gutierrez, drags him up, then BODY SHOTS!

Gutierrez fires haymakers on Liona, but they do nothing! Liona SPINEBUSTERS Gutierrez! Cage smirks, Marston tags in, and Marston ducks ‘n’ dodges, but runs into a BIG back drop! Cage drags Marston up, reels him in, puts one out, an d gives Marston a POWERBOMB! Cage then tags to Kaun, Liona steps in with him. Tupu runs in, dodges The Gates, but Cage SUPERKICKS him! Then the Gates get Tupu up to CLOSE THE GATES!

Cage drags Marston over, and the trio TRIPLE SLAMS him! Kaun covers, The Cage of Agony wins!

Winners: The Cage of Agony, by pinfall

This dangerous trio is only more dangerous now that they’re the ones in charge! Will they be right on the heels of the Unified AEW & ROH World Trios Champions?

Rocky Romero VS Shota Umino!

It’s another Forbidden Door appetizer as Azucar “welcomes” The Roughneck back to AEW! #SHOOTER has learned a lot from Jon Moxley over the past four years, will he show all those lessons have paid off? Or will Rocky make it clear Shota’s still got a lot to learn?

The bell rings and the two shake hands to show there’s sportsmanship here. The fans cheer, the two tie up, and Shota wrenches to a wristlock. Rocky rolls, slips around, facelocks and cravats. Shota swim moves to wrench and wrangle Rocky to the mat. Rocky stands, Shota wrenches and wristlocks, but Rocky pulls hair. The ref reprimands, but Rocky wrenches through to an IRON OCTOPUS! Shota endures, powers out and throws Rocky down. Shota has the toehold, then digs a knee into the knee. Rocky turns over, stands up, clinches, and they end up on ropes. Shota CLUBS Rocky again, but Rocky grits his teeth. Shota ROCKS Rocky against ropes, then has him in a corner. Shota stomps and UPPERCUTS, then he stalks Rocky. Shota stomps Rocky, UPPERCUTS again, then whips to ropes. Rocky holds ropes to BOOT back!

Shota runs up but Rocky DUMPS Shota out! Rocky builds speed and DIVES! Shota’s head hits the desk and the ref checks him out while Rampage goes picture in picture.

It seems Shota is okay so the ref goes back to the ring. Rocky stands, fires up, and gives us some Latino Heat. Rocky puts Shota in the ring, drops a knee into the back, then stomps Shota before dropping a knee on the chest! Cover, TWO! Shota toughs it out but Rocky drags him up. Rocky KICKS the bad arm, wrenches it, then hits an ELBOW BREAKER! Shota goes to ropes, Rocky puts him through ropes, to KICK again! Rocky goes up a corner, gives some more Latino Heat, then MISSILE DROPKICKS! Shota flounders, Rocky covers, TWO! Rocky argues the count but the count was fair, so Rocky clamps onto Shota with a cobra clutch!

Rocky thrashes Shota around but Shota endures. Shota fights up, throws elbows, but Rocky CLUBS him on the back. Rocky TOSSES Shota out, then aims from the apron! CROSSBODY, but Shota catches him! Shota pops Rocky up but Rocky slips free, so Shota SHOTGUNS him down! Both men are on the floor on the outside and the fans rally up. Shota rises up, fetches Rocky, and puts him in the ring. But Rocky DROPKICKS Shota back! Shota is down in the corner and Rampage goes to break.

Shota waits on Rocky to rise up, then runs in, IGNIT- NO, Rocky makes it a backslide!

Shota rolls through the cover, blocks a kick, ducks the enzigiri, but not the REWIND HEEL! Shota staggers to a corner, Rocky runs in. Shota dodges, runs in, but Rocky UPPERCUTS! Rocky goes up and up and TORNADO DDTS! Rocky pounds the mat, the fans rally behind him now, and he aims from a corner. Shota rises, Rocky runs in, SLICED BREAD!! Cover, TWO!! Shota roars, but Rocky UPPERCUTS! And cravat, for the SLICED- NO, Shota poops free!

Shota POP-KNEES, then IGNITION!! Cover, TWO!! Rocky survives but Shota takes aim from the corner now! A shoutout to Ospreay here with his BLAZE BLADE!! And then PARADIGM SHIFT!! Cover, Shota wins!

Winner: Shota Umino, by pinfall

The Roughneck does indeed prove that what he learned from his senpai, his upperclassmen, have indeed made him into a great wrestler! But will he become one of the greatest wrestlers as he continues to battle all around the world?

Satnam Singh w/ Sonjay Dutt & Jay Lethal VS Rosario Grillo!

The One in a Billion is a big, big man, but he still has a lot to prove if he wants to be the best of the best. Will he finally start building on a win streak? Or will Rosario overcome this mountain of a man?

The bell rings, and Satnam offers a handshake? Rosario takes it, but Satnam won’t let go! Rosario kicks and kicks and CHPOS and CHOPS, but Satnam’s grip is too strong! And speaking of, he grabs Rosario by the neck, to PO-UP BEARHUG!! Satnam ragdolls Rosario! Rosario is OUT, Satnam wins!

Winner: Satnam Singh, by pinfall

Satnam TOSSES Rosario aside, having made quick work of the mere mortal. Sonjay Dutt gets in the ring with a mic to say, “Hey hey hey hey hey! Bubba (Jay Lethal), tell ’em, what’re you gonna do?” Lethal takes the mic to say ladies and gentlemen, Satnam Singh is on a freakin’ roll! Satnam just squashed Grillo in record time, and Lethal is so impressed that not only will he beat his opponent tonight, but he and Sonjay have a little side bet that Lethal can do it even faster than what Satnam just did. Satnam chuckles and Lethal says he’s done waiting! Bring that poor shmuck out here! Did Lethal not read the match card? Lethal’s up against THE BASTARD!!

Fans fire up as Pac makes his entrance out here. Pac already said he was in a bad mood on Dynamite, and surely Lethal taking him lightly isn’t helping things. Will Pac make sure Sonjay wins that side bet with Lethal?

PAC VS Jay Lethal w/ Sonjay Dutt & Satnam Singh!

Pac makes Lethal suffer a few seconds longer before letting go. That’s what Lethal gets for calling The Bastard a shmuck! Pac is going to be in the Men’s Owen Hart Tournament, will he win it all to go All In for the AEW World Championship?

My Thoughts:

A great Rampage here, even with an extra squash match for the fun of it. Cage of Agony are definitely rolling, not sure they’ll be going for the trios titles while a Heel faction like Bang Bang Gang has them, but Cage, Kaun & Liona would definitely be a tough challenge for them. And I really liked that they segued from Satnam’s squash win to Lethal’s great main event with Pac. Great win for Pac to build momentum towards the Owen Hart Cup, I do like the possibility of Pac being in the main event of All In. Whether Pac is facing Ospreay or Swerve for the world title, he’ll give us great promos in the build and an awesome match in Wembley.

Great match from Rocky and Shota, and a great win for Shota. There might be something in the works for Forbidden Door, but I don’t see Shota getting in on title stories in AEW. Really good promo from Deonna and Rosa, and their No DQ match is going to be awesome stuff. That match can really go either way, but something tells me that Deonna wins. As it stands, we’ve got two Face champions in the Women’s Division, and that won’t change after Forbidden Door, so Deonna is a very strong Heel to go after Storm or Mone. And speaking of, great opener out of Storm VS Windsor, which I clearly thought was gonna be the main event but oh well. Still a good showing for Windsor and a good win for Storm, and Storm has momentum going to Forbidden Door, though she surely isn’t losing.

My Score: 8.7/10
