Collision returns and Tony Schiavone is in the ring.

He is there with Bullet Club Gold and says they’ve really stepped into something for All In with their match against The Golden Elite. White says they talk about what they wanna talk about. So first up, Guns Up for the Lexington Gold Members! Fans cheer, and White says what they’re gonna talk about is a message for his “old friend,” Kenny Omega, in his hospital bed. “Kenny! Hope you’re paying attention. Because if the so-called God of Professional Wrestling doesn’t wanna be exposed at the biggest professional wrestling event of all time at Wembley Stadium, then I think, Mr. Omega, you better stay in that bed.

“We’ve known you for almost a decade now, Kenny, myself and Juice here. We’ve had to sit by for too long, whilst you and your friends deceive the ENTIRE professional wrestling world! No, no no no. Kenny and his friends have deceived ALL of you that The Elite is the peak of Bullet Club! But Tony, we’re here to set the record straight. So in London, at All In, BULLET CLUB GOLD, the Bang Bang Gang, show they’re a cut above the Elite! And it doesn’t matter who Kenny brings with him, it doesn’t matter what friends you have with you! Kota Ibushi, Hangman Adam Page, it doesn’t matter! We’ve beat them before, we’ll beat them again, Kenny, just like you! We beat you before, we’ll beat you again!”

Fans fire up as White hands off the mic to Juice, and he tells Hangman that they heard what he said. He thinks it’s funny they drove from Orlando to Jacksonville just to beat the crap outta Kenny Omega? You think it was just a two minute beatdown? It only took them two minutes to beat down the great Kenny Omega so bad he had to go to the hospital! “So what do you think we’re gonna do to you at the biggest pro-wrestling show ever, you idiot?!” The Gunns say that The Bucks had to cheat to beat them cuz the Gunns are the best brother team in AEW. And instead of a rematch, The Bucks reach out for their friend, Kenny.

Fans chant “ASS~ BOYS~!” but Austin says they have friends, too! And their friends are way juicier, way more rock hard, and a much better leader than Kenny! The Elite may have started this company, but now they run it! The Bang Bang Gang! The Top Shelf Gunslingers! The Collison Cowboys! And to get warmed up, they wanna wrestle! Tony Khan, send out three whatever you got! Before Fyter Fest, they wanna warm up! LET’S GET IT ON! Jay White then asks, “How’s it go? The Savages pushed the Bang Bang Gang, but Juice & The Gunns came out on top! Will they be able to do the same to The Elite, THE THE Elite?

The House of Black speaks.

Malakai Black says, “The definition of the world ‘funeral’ means ‘to observe a dead person before burial.'” The Samarians believed the afterlife was a dark, dreary cavern deep below the ground, where inhabitants continued a shadowy version of their lives on Earth. That is what Billy Gunn is doing: living a shadow of what he once was. And like all things that do not know they have deceased, they have to be reminded and taste the suffocating dirt in their mouths, so that they know they are six feet deep. “Here lies Billy Gunn, a man of nothing, and a father of immorality and lies. Rest in pain.” The House has put Billy’s boots in the trash compactor! Will they get away with this disrespect?

Jose the Assistant speaks.

Camera rolling. “For some reason, boss wants me to document this call, so let’s just get it out of the way.” Rush asks Jose about the last time La Faccion Ingobernable was on AEW TV. The Tornado Tag that they lost to the now defunct #JungleHook. “What are my eyes seeing? LFI losing that way? And against Jack? You more than anyone knows, that THAT faction… I don’t need here. I need a faction of badasses, real killers, and YOU… Know this well. I want the whole group in Mexico, and I’m even expecting you.” Wait, Mexico? YES! You heard him! Things have changed. Okay, okay. Rush then hangs up.

Jose sighs. He shuts the camera off, and LFI regroups in Mexico. They drive to the bar, Dralistico switches into his party mask, and then leaves buzzed with Preston Vance. Then they get snatched!? Jose is on the phone, not worried at all. Is this just part of the plan?

Backstage interview with Ricky Starks.

Tony Schiavone is with Absolute, who was suspended from competition last week for whipping Ricky Steamboat with a leather belt! Yeah, but Schiavone was wrong, wasn’t he? He said it was for 30 days, but it’s just four weeks, 28 days. And that’s already halfway done. This is all just a big joke! AEW might as well be a nonprofit organization. Starks is the one who has to suffer for it! His rage is not out of nothing. It comes from this type of stuff. Starks said he’d bring a war, and he meant every single word. So tonight, for those watching, he will bring chaos! Because in steps BIG BILL MORRISSEY! They do that, tonight! Starks heads out with Morrissey, is that his first client as a new manager?

Ricky Starks has a separate video message.

“Y’know, I’ve had a lot of distractions that have taken me off my mark. I lost myself. I channeled my energy into the wrong vessels. There are those who took my kindness for weakness, and the amount of kindness that I have is the same amount of chaos I can bring. This is who I’ve been all along. One thing and one thing only: I am Absolute.”

Bill then drags Neal up to TOSS him out! Fans boo but Starks says that’s for them. Will Starks and Bill be a force of nature in AEW?

They have to make it to Wembley so Darby can throw Fox into a coffin.

As for Wednesday, they don’t think Nick Wayne deserves to be here, huh? Nick says Fox & Swerve have changed. Whether it’s hurting Nick, breaking into his home, or leaving him in a pool of his own blood! But is that the kind of man Nick has to become to make it in this business? Or can he stick to the morals he was raised with? Darby warns Fox & Swerve, they’re gonna find out what Nick’s really capable of. That fight is at Fyter Fest this Wednesday, who will survive to go All In?

Christian uses that signature CHOKE, but the ref counts. Christian steps off, soaks up the heat, and fans pour it on with boos. Christian drags Darby up, suplexes, but Darby slips free! O’Conner Roll, TWO! Darby springboards to SPLASH! Cover, TWO!! Ghost pin, TWO!!! Christian escapes but Darby Oklahoma Rolls! TWO! Christian DECKS Darby with a right hand! The ref reprimands but Christian whips, but Darby catches him! Spin around and backslide, TWO!!

Christian escapes again, perhaps Darby’s bad arm is holding him back. Darby runs up, but Christian ROCKS him first! Then HOTSHOTS him down! And then YANKS Darby out to THROW into barriers! Christian stands Darby up to DECK him with an uppercut! Christian drags Darby up to CHOP him again! Darby SLAPS Christian on the way down! Christian snarls, he puts Darby back in, and Christian stomps Darby around. Christian isolates the bad arm, and he STOMPS the elbow! Christian goes to the outside and he grabs the TNT Championship! Christian brings it over, taunts Darby with it, and tells him to come get it.

Darby crawls over that way, Christian DECKS Darby! Christian storms back in while Darby sputters in the corner. Christian stomps Darby, drags him up, hammerlock and scoop, to a SLAM! Darby writhes from landing on his own arm, and Christian soaks up the heat from the fans. Christian stands Darby up but Darby throws body shots with the good arm! But Christian spins Darby around, hammerlock and REVERSE DDT! Darby clutches the bad arm, and Christian tells him to stay down. But then Christian aims from the corner a la the Rated R Superstar. Darby stands up, Christian runs in, but Darby KICKS him!

Darby fires off fast hands, a HEADBUTT, and then hops on, CODE RED! Cover, TWO!!! Christian survives, Darby hurries up after him! Darby puts the turtleneck up and over Christian’s head! Fans fire up as Christian can’t see, but he still throws elbows! Christian gets away, looking like Kenny from South Park, and he pulls the turtleneck down. Christian runs in, Darby goes up and over! Christian reels Darby back in, runs, but Darby follows! It’s a feint, and HEADS COLLIDE! Both men fall after that collision and fans fire up again! The ref starts a standing count as Collision goes picture in picture!

The count passes 5 of 10 but both men sit up. They crawl for ropes, and Darby drags himself up. Christian does the same, and both men run in at each other, DOUBLE CROSSBODIES collide now! The standing count starts again, fans rally and count along, and Darby sits up first. Darby and Christian head for each other, and they stand to throw hands! Darby ROCKS Christian! Christian ROCKS Darby! Repeat! Christian staggers around, and he SLAPS Darby down! Darby rises, throws body shots and forearms, but Christian YANKS Darby into ropes! And kicks him out of the ring! Christian distracts the ref so that Luchasaurus can storm over! Luchasaurus DECKS Darby!

Luchasaurus gets away with another one and Christian drags Darby up to the apron. Darby gets away, goes around the corner, and slides into the ring. Christian stands Darby up to ROCK him, but Darby fires off forearms! Collision returns to single picture, they brawl, and Christian UPPERCUTS! Darby fires up and fires off shots! Darby whips, Christian reverses but Darby springboards to COFFIN SPLASH! Darby runs in to COFFIN SPLASH again! And then again! Darby keeps moving, and he SHOTGUNS Christian down! Christian is stuck in the corner and fans fire up again! Darby drags himself up, and he goes back to the other corner.

Darby climbs, but he COFFIN SPLASHES Luchasaurus! But Luchasaurus catches him! Luchasaurus takes a swing, Darby dodges, and Christian SPEARS on the outside!! Fans boo but Christian RAMS Darby into railing! Christian soaks up the heat, the ref tells him to do this in the ring. Christian runs back in, but Darby drop toeholds Christian into a chair! Fans fire up as Darby now has the chair, and he sets it up nearby. Darby makes Christian take a seat and he fires off shots! The ref wants this back int he ring, but he has to keep Luchasaurus back, too! Darby goes up the corner!? To SUPER MISSILE DROPKICK Christian outta the chair!!

Fans lose their minds after what we just saw! Both men are down and the ring count starts. Christian stirs at 4 of 10, he and Darby stand at 6. Darby puts Christian in, goes up the corner, and he reloads, only for Christian to scramble to the apron! That doesn’t matter to Darby, he just changes direction! APRON COFFIN DROP but Luchasaurus saves Christian! Only Darby hits the edge!! Fans lose their minds again while Darby writhes! But wait, the ref EJECTS Luchasaurus! Luchasaurus throws a fit but he still leaves. Christian puts Darby in the ring, and he has the title belt! BELT SHOT!!!

Christian tosses the evidence away, gets Darby back up and in, and then covers! ROPEBREAK!!! Christian can’t believe it, but “This is Awesome!” Christian aims from the corner, Darby rises, and Christian runs in! But Darby sends him into buckles! SHOTGUN! Christian hits buckles and Darby drags him back up! Darby puts Christian up top, climbs up with one arm, and BITES Christian’s ear! Christian fires off haymakers! And he SMACKS Darby off the buckles! And again! SUPER SUNSET BOMB! And then the SPEAR!!! Cover, TWO?!?!? Darby survives and Christian cannot believe it!

Christian argues with the ref but the count was fair! Christian drags Darby up, the fans are thunderous, and Darby fires off fast hands! HEADBUTT! Christian LARIATS! Christian turns Darby around, but Darby slips free to sunset flip! Jackknife bridge! DARBY WINS!!

Winner: Darby Allin, by pinfall

Darby pins Captain Charisma, and he continues to gain momentum! Tony Schiavone joins him in the ring, and knows Darby is basically spent. But one hell of a match! Now Darby has his shot in Chicago for the TNT Championship. Tonight, Darby earned it! But wait, who’s at the ramp? Luchasaurus is back! Darby eggs him on, but Christian CLOBBERS Darby with the belt AGAIN!! Fans boo but Christian tells Luchasaurus to put Darby down! JURASSIC CHOKE SLAM!! Christian promised that Darby would fall at the champion’s feet! Christian pins Darby now?! And Luchasaurus makes Schiavone count?

Schiavone gives in, and he counts one, two, three! Christian says HE is the winner! Schiavone announces “still TNT Champion,” Christian Cage. Fans boo as Captain Charisma celebrates a completely imaginary victory. But Luchasaurus still hoists Christian onto his shoulders and Christian still holds up the TNT Championship. And Swerve & Fox are loving it. Will the Mogul Embassy pick the bones both Wednesday on Dynamite and August 27th at All In? Or will Darby be able to rise up and take out all of his enemies?

My Thoughts:

A great Collision, with a lot build towards this blitz of a schedule they have going. Punk getting one over on Samoa Joe as “The Golden Vampire” was clever, and of course their match for All In is confirmed. Then great back to back stuff with Bullet Club Gold. Great match from White VS Castle, great promo from BCG, and great Six Man Tag of Juice & The Gunns VS The Iron Savages. While they lost, Castle and the Savages are both still great, and I hope Castle wins that ROH World TV Championship. BCG has momentum going into next week, no idea how that goes. BCG can probably get a dirty win so that the go-home math favors The Elite as Kenny joins Hangman & Ibushi against Juice, White & Takeshita and as The Bucks take on FTR.

Having brought up FTR, I’m pretty sure I didn’t skip past a new promo from FTR, and they were advertised to speak tonight, but uh… After Cash Wheeler was recently arrested on charges relating to a July road rage incident and then got out on $2500 bail, I can understand why FTR didn’t even have a via video promo. They’ll do their best to let that heat die down so that FTR can just have their match at All In with The Bucks. Now, if it were me, Bucks are totally winning those tag titles back, and perhaps Cash does some form of damage control. Then he and Dax can come back around a little later, maybe closer to Full Gear, maybe even feud over different tag titles.

Great promo from Starks with him overreacting to a minor error and then have a big response in Big Bill showing up as his client. Great squash match win for Bill, great little Heel beatdown after that, and with Starks “allowed” to wrestle again in a couple weeks, aka the Collision before All Out, you can bet Starks & Bill try to ruin something scheduled for All Out. They might even end up with a match scheduled on the All Out Zero Hour to have a big tag team win. At the same time, after Punk gets past Joe, Starks can go after him in another “Real” AEW World Championship match with Bill in Starks’ corner, basically settling things from last time.

Great vignettes from The House of Black and La Faccion Ingobernable. That “funeral” for Billy Gunn will surely spark something towards Billy’s return as a true blowoff of this story. And while it was well put together, Rush getting on Jose’s case and then apparently having Preston Vance and his own brother, Dralistico, kidnapped, I am disappointed it took them this long to come up with this. #JungleHook fell apart like months ago, and that tag match LFI lost was even a few weeks before that! This promo should’ve happened sometime before Jack Perry turned on Hook, and then we’d be waiting to see LFI make a wild return at All Out or something.

Really good match from Willow VS Diamante, especially with Mercedes showing up to be Diamante’s corner person. Kris showing up to stop Mercedes and Willow still winning was the right move, but I feel like the TBS Championship match needs to happen at All Out so this doesn’t spin its wheels like a lot of Jade Cargill’s feuds did. And good promo from Toni Storm, and of course we’re getting the tag match of the Fatal 4 Way competitors. And while Storm is so confident Saraya has her back and is all in on Three-Time Champion Storm, I really feel like Saraya is gonna pull the rug out from under her and take that win. UK/England fans will love Saraya winning and there’s new drama in the Outcasts’ story since they’ve apparently run their course against the Homegrowns.

Great squash match win for Hobbs, and good promo from Miro. Their match is going to be a great one for All Out, could go either way, but feels like another “Tony Khan wrote both big men into a corner,” just like he did Hobbs VS Wardlow. And where’s Wardlow even been, huh? But great little video from Darby where he and Sting got after Fox outside of AEW, and then a great main event from Darby VS Christian with Luchasaurus of course getting involved. Darby winning was a little surprising, but then seeing Christian & Luchasaurus stand tall made sense. Darby has momentum yet is still behind the 8 ball with his busy schedule.

But as I said for Dynamite, Darby really should win the TNT Championship back, he is putting in the work worthy of a championship that is both the “workhorse” and “television” title. Plus, that’d put him in the three-time TNT Championship club alongside Sammy Guevara, Wardlow and Cody Rhodes, also something Darby is worthy of.

My Score: 8.7/10

PLAY BY PLAY

MJF arrives backstage.

Renee Paquette is there to bring up tonight’s main event is Darby Allin VS Konosuke Takeshita for the AEW World Championship. If Darby Allin wins, MJF will then have to sign a contract for Title VS Hair at Double or Nothing. Darby has made it clear that if MJF doesn’t sign said contract, Darby will never allow MJF to face him for the title again. We all know how important the title is for MJF, but is MJF willing to put his hair on the line for it? MJF just chuckles and moves on, but he notices the very bald Rick Knox, Bryce Remsburg, and the head of security, David Aponte. And then various bald members of the production staff…

And then even Christopher Daniels & Sonjay Dutt are there! Daniels and Sonjay chuckle before moving on, and then MJF sees John Silver flexing. Brandon Culter, some arena staff, and even Tommaso Ciampa, all bald. Then last but certainly not least, Ricochet! He tells MJF that don’t worry, he’ll look great. Just not as good as Ricochet. AHA~! MJF storms off, will he have no choice but to choose between gold belt and chrome dome?

10 Man Tag: Orange Cassidy, Adam Copeland, Christian Cage & The Young Bucks VS Tommaso Ciampa, David Finlay, Clark Connors & FTR w/ Stokely Hathaway!

While we know the AEW World Tag Team Championship match will be a conglomeration of I Quit Match and New York Street Fight, THE Conglomeration will be waiting on the other side for their own tag title match. And let’s not forget that Matt & Nick Jackson want their own shot at those titles again. With that, can Freshly Squeezed work together with C&C and The Bucks? Or will the Psycho Killer, the Dogs, and the Top Guys all stand tall on the road to Double or Nothing?

The teams sort out and the teams just brawl it out! The fans cheer as The Bucks have The Dogs, Cope is after Ciampa, Christian is after Cash, and Dax brawls with Cassidy! Dax bumps Cassidy off buckles but Cassidy ducks the haymaker to waistlock. The Bucks, Cope & Christian clear everyone else out, then take the brawl outside! Dax ROCKS Cassidy to send him out, and  the fans fire up as Matt fires hands on 100 Proof right by commentary! Ciampa whips Cope but Cope reverses, sending Ciampa into barriers! Cash sends Christian into railing, then CLOBBERS Cassidy! Nick fires hands on Finlay, Cassidy sends Cash into railing!

Cassidy and Dax meet in the ring, Dax ROCKS and CHOPS Cassidy, but Nick sends Finlay into railing! Dax DECKS Cassidy, throws hands on Cope, but Cope fires back! The fans fire up but the ref reprimands! Cope DECKS Dax, and wait, Christian and Cash are brawling in the crowd! Same for Matt and Connors! Finlay CLAWS Nick’s face, Cassidy ROCKS Dax, and Cassidy whips. Dax reverses, Cassidy goes up and out to then SMACK Dax off buckles! Cassidy goes up, Ciampa BOOTS Nick, and Dax trips Cassidy. Dax CHOPS Cassidy, climbs up after him, and goes to the very top! The fans boo but Dax stands Cassidy up, SUPER DUPER PLEX!

Dax then rolls through to suplex again, but Cassidy STUN-DOG MILLIONAIRES! Cassidy runs, tilt-o-whirls, and DDTS! Cassidy kips up, the fans fire up, but Finlay sends Nick into steel steps! #BigStoke grabs Cassidy’s foot, Cash CLOBBERS Cassidy! The fans boo but Dax puts Cassidy in the corner to tag Ciampa. FTR and the Psycho Killer mug Cassidy! The fans boo and the ref reprimands, but Ciampa stands Cassidy up. Cassidy blocks the chop! And he blocks another chop! The fans cheer but Ciampa kicks low and CHOPS again! The fans boo but Ciampa soaks up that heat. Ciampa drags Cassidy by a leg, turns him over, but Cassidy fights around!

Cassidy kicks and kicks but Ciampa drags him back! Cassidy turns to BOOT Ciampa away! Dax tags in and he CLOBBERS Cassidy! The fans boo but Dax flips them off. Dax whips Cassidy, runs up, but Cassidy dodges! Dax POSTS himself! Both men are down, hot tags to Cash and Nick! Nick rallies on FTR with haymakers, BLASTS Ciampa, but Cash kicks low! FTR whips, DOUBLE HIP- NO, Nick lands out, MEETING OF TEH MINDS! Then DOUBLE WHEEL KICK! The fans fire up as Nick then DROPKICKS Dax out! The Dogs run up, but Nick knuckle locks and CHOPS Finlay! Then Nick jumps over Connors, SUPERKICKS, and he goes for the corner!

Nick goes up, up, and “LUCHA LIBRE~!” FLYING ARM-DRAG RANA COMBO! The fans are thunderous and Nick tags Matt. Nick whips Finlay, Finlay reverses, but Nick goes up and over. Matt SUPERKICKS Finlay! Nick SHINING WIZARDS Connors, adds a GAMANGIRI, then The Bucks DOUBLE BULLDOG with the high-five! The fans fire up again as Matt winds up. Matt WRECKS FTR with a dropkick, then holds the way open, Nick FLIES onto FTR & Ciampa! But Connors back suplexes! Matt lands out, and NORTHERN LIGHTS! Roll through, NORTHERN LIGHTS! The Polar Express is getting going, and Finlay joins the ride! DOUBLE NORTHERN LIGHTS!

The fans are electric and it’s not just the volt green! Time for a SUPERKICK PARTAY~! Wait, Stokely grabs a foot each! The fans boo, the ref reprimands, but Stoke can’t even trip The Bucks up. The Bucks drag Stoke in! Stoke pleads for mercy, but FTR runs up! The Bucks dodge, mule kick, then SUPERKICK for Dax! SUPERKICK for Cash! DOUBLE SUPERKICKS on The Dogs! Then FTR is sent into The Dogs before DOUBLE SUPERKICKS! Ciampa runs up to waistlock but Nick switches. Ciampa BOOTS Matt away, ELBOWS Nick, but Matt dodges, PSYCHO KNEE into Cash! DOUBLE SUPERKICKS for Ciampa!

The fans fire up again, and The Bucks see C&C. They point to Christian, and the fans cheer! Christian steps in, the ref reprimands but Cope argues with the ref. This distraction lets Christian LOW BLOW Cash! DOUBLE SUPERKICKS for Cash! Christian covers, TWO! Cash survives, the fans boo, but Christian rains down fists while Dynamite goes picture in picture.

Christian puts Cash in the corner to CHPO, CHOP, and then rain down fists! Christian goes past TEN, maybe to fifteen, then stops. Cash sputters, Stoke talks trash, but Christian grabs Stoke! Cash CLUBS Christian, Ciampa HOTSHOTS the bad arm, and Ciampa hurries to tag in. Ciampa drags Christian around, SLAMS the bad arm off the mat, then SLAMS the arm again! Ciampa POSTS Christian, and Christian falls to the apron. The ref keeps his eyes on the rest of the team so they stay back. Ciampa goes out, and he SWINGS the bad arm into the post! Christian scrambles away, clutching the arm, but Ciampa taunts Cope with a wave.

Ciampa tags Connors, Connors tags Finlay, and The Dogs stomp away on Christian. Finlay clamps onto the bad hand, bends the fingers, then JAMS them into the mat! The ref reprimands but Finlay anchors Christian while he tags in Dax. Dax CHOPS Christian, DECKS him, then taunts Cope and The Bucks. The Bucks rally the fans, Cope coaches Christian up, but Dax brings Christian around. Christian blocks a shot to hit back, but then Dax kicks low! Dynamite returns to single picture as Dax UPPERCUTS Christian back to the corner. Stoke is on commentary suddenly to say Christian tried to steal Stoke’s watch, aka the watch Stoke stole from Christian.

But Christian fires back on Dax and the whole corner! Then he and Dax DOUBLE LARIAT! The fans fire up while both men are down! Christian crawls, but we can see Cash and The Dogs sneaking over! They and Ciampa YANK down Cope, Cassidy and The Bucks! The fans boo but Dax drags Christian back to center. Dax kicks and scuffs Christian, then talks trash. But Christian slips around to chicken wing the arms! Dax shoves Christian away, but Christian turns around, NOGGIN KNOCKER! Both men are down and the fans fire up again! Cope drags Connors up, whips him to the corner, then Nick runs up! Connors puts Nick out, then he puts Matt out!

But Christian is back, and he coordinates with The Bucks, LARIAT DOUBLE ENZIGIRI on Connors! Then Cassidy somersaults for a “powerful” back elbow! Finlay runs up, Cassidy kicks the legs out! Finlay hits buckles but Ciampa runs up! Christian sends him into Cash, then dragon sleepers Ciampa. Christian sees Dax run up, kicks him low, and gets him in the same hold, DOUBLE REVERSE DDTS! The fans fire up as FTR, Ciampa and Finlay are all in drop zones! “This is Awesome!” as Cassidy, Christian and The Bucks climb the corners. Connors runs up on Cope, but Cope snatches him into a facelock!

Cope acts as air traffic control as he coordinates everyone, QUADRUPLE MACHO ELBOWS before an IMPALER!! Cover, TWO!! Connors survives and the fans can’t believe it! Ciampa and Finlay get up, The Bucks BLAST them, then DIVE! Down they go at ramp side, then Christian and Cassidy bump into each other. The fans cheer “A E DUB! A E DUB!” for making this the opener! Cassidy puts his hands up, but Christian stops him. Christian shakes his head, but then Cassidy makes Christian put his hands in his pockets! The fans fire up as Christian just THROWS Cassidy out onto FTR! Christian then goes up, up, and SUPER CROSSBODIES The Dogs!

Cope calls out a shot, runs, but into a SHATTER MACHINE!! FTR snatches Cope outta nowhere, Connors makes the cover, but Cassidy breaks it! The fans fire up as now FTR has Cassidy surrounded. But Cassidy “unleashes” his kicks! The fans go nuts with every shot, but FTR shoves Cassidy! SHATTER- DOUBLE SUPERKICKS on Cash! Cassidy fights free of Dax, but Dax blocks Nick’s Superkick! Dax sends it into Matt! Nick SUPERKICKS through after all! Finlay clinches, IRISH CURSE BACKBREAKER on Nick! Matt feints the kick to DDT! But then Ciampa KNEES Matt down! Christian chicken wings Ciampa, turns him around, KILLSWITCH!

Connors JEEP FLIPS Christian! Connors then stalks Cope while the fans boo. Connors lines up a shot, Cope rises to his feet, Connors runs in! But Cope jumps over Connors’ spear, sending it into Dax! The fans fire up, Stoke freaks out, and The Bucks join Cope in the ring. They TRIPLE SUPERKICK Connors! Cassidy is in, ORANGE PUNCH! SPEAR from Cope!! Cover, C&C Conglomeration Bucks win!

Winners: Orange Cassidy, Adam Copeland, Christian Cage & The Young Bucks, by pinfall

Another star-studded 10 Man Tag, and it was a huge win for all the hungry contenders. Christian doesn’t wanna celebrate, but he does signal that he and Cope will be champions. Will putting their tag team legacy on the line be enough to take the gold? Or will Double or Nothing be the last night that team reeks of awesomeness?

Will Ospreay continues to train with The Death Riders.

They’re outside this time, Claudio Castagnoli playing some wall ball with Marina Shafir and Pac. Daniel Garcia says, “Tonight is the night that we’ve all been waiting for: The Aerial Assassin, Will Ospreay, is cleared and back on Dynamite. And rumor has it, the kid’s been working real hard and he’s got some new tricks up his sleeves. So Young Boy Billy, tonight you gotta show me something, c’mon.” Garcia gets a quick turn in on wall ball while cameras move over. Ospreay is maintaining a neck bridge while Jon Moxley uses Wheeler Yuta as a living dummy to show just how to push and pull and bend and twist on the various chinlocks and headlocks.

Use the right arm to push against the head, then snake in the left arm for the sleeper. Pry and shoot. Moxley asks how Ospreay feels. Ospreay lets off the bridge and says honestly, the best he’s felt in forever. Moxley asks if Ospreay remembers the night he won the Best of the Super Juniors. Yeah, 2019. AKA a lifetime ago. Ospreay was carefree, flew like a bird, for no other reason than that’s just what birds do. So simple back then, chasing that feeling, like no other feeling in the world. Can’t really grab it in your hands for more than a few seconds. The joy of doing it. Then everybody comes in and tries to make it so overcomplicated.

Years pass, life happens, a family starts, responsibilities show up, bad things happen, bad choices catch up to you, and it’s all weight on your shoulders. You feel like you can’t fly. But Moxley will tell you something: Nothing is different. Nothing has changed. All those things are still gonna be there, but you can still fly. You’re just more dangerous now. You’re a bird of prey. So tonight, when you got out there, don’t go out there to protect anything. Not your neck, your image, your reputation, or what you’ve built in your career. Go out there to give something. Moxley checks on Yuta and says dammit, if you’re gonna snap a headlock, snap the headlock!

Moxley storms off to instruct his pupil, but will Ospreay use everything he has been taught to great effect? Or will he have to fold against Ace Austin?

Chris Jericho speaks.

“You wanna face Jericho in a match of my own design, Ricochet? A spectacle so innovative, so imaginative, it cannot be contained, it can only be witnessed. Well, be careful what you demand, because you’ve made a few enemies yourself, Ricochet. And now a match designed specifically to settle scores without any, and I mean AAANY~, limitations has gotten even bigger.” Chris Jericho & The Hurt Syndicate were just looking for two more, but “Jungle” Jack Perry said he can bring four: himself, The Young Bucks, and KENNY OMEGA! Jericho tells Ricochet that this is no longer what he designed, but it is a devil’s dance of destruction! Ricochet’s destruction!

Ricochet got what he wanted, now can he handle it? Bald. The first-ever SEVEN VS SEVEN Stadium Stampede, who will even survive?

Ricochet & The Demand respond.

They stand with Mark Davis of the Don Callis Family and Ricochet says we all know Jericho does a lot of talking out of his ass while The Demand gets things done. Just like Davis did when he defeated Jack for the AEW National Championship at Fairway to Hell. Hold it with pride, Davis, Ricochet knows you’ll do it well. Davis says he’s got this. Ricochet says Davis has joined the dream team, but he’s not the only one. Because compliments to Ricochet’s golfing buddy, Don Callis, look who else he’s sending: Andrade El Idolo! Gracias, amigo. But it doesn’t stop there, the train keeps rolling. Ricochet was just approached by two guys who have an ax to grind with the superkick sidekicks.

These two wanna fill out the last two spots, so who is Ricochet to say no to The Dogs? Finlay & Connors storm in, and Finlay says to put it simple, they will fight The Bucks in the streets, in the ring, but guess it’s fighting at Double or Nothing! If they want violence, if they want carnage, if they want chaos, who better than The Dogs?! The Dogs bark and Liona roars, but will these seven stand tall in the Big Apple?

“Speedball” Mike Bailey w/ Kevin Knight VS BK Westbrook!

JetSpeed has a lot of momentum on their side, and as stated last week at Fairway to Hell, they’re looking to grab up all the gold they can. Will Speedball keep on rolling towards his own golden opportunity? Or will #Supastud prove his own worth?

The bell rings and the fans rally as the two step up. Bailey bows in respect, offers a handshake, but Westbrook goes to roll Bailey up! Bailey stays on his feet, then steps over to sit down on a cover, TWO! Westbrook ducks a Penalty Kick, avoids the moonsault, and the sweep! Bailey dodges, Westbrook tiger feints through the ropes, but Bailey handsprings up and over! The fans fire up as Bailey ducks an elbow to whip. Westbrook goes up, around, but kinda fumbles his tumble. The fans cheer and jeer him for his attempt, but Westbrook blocks the boot! Westbrook FLIPS Bailey, springboards in, but Bailey dodges! TIME ADVENTURE!

Bailey pushes Westbrook down, goes up the corner, and the fans fire up for the ULTIMATE WEAPON! Cover, Bailey wins!

Winner: Mike Bailey, by pinfall

Another fast ‘n’ furious finish, and Bailey’s on a hot streak! But now, the other side of JetSpeed looks to keep it up! But just who is Kevin Knight defending the TNT Championship against? It’s… BRIAN CAGE!? The Machine finally returns to action, and he has the Don Callis Family with him! Will Cage be able to ground Knight and take this title back to the family?

AEW TNT Championship Open Challenge: Kevin Knight w/ “Speedball” Mike Bailey VS Brian Cage w/ The Don Callis Family!

The introductions are made, the belt is raised, and we see if the Don Callis Family adds more gold to the collection!

Talk about a handicap! Callis AND Ricochet gave Davis quite a considerable one, and now Davis has his first singles title in AEW! The Jurassic Express National Tour has just been run off the road, but will Jack be able to get his revenge?

Collision returns, and Jack Perry is on the phone.

He tells someone, “Let’s do it. Thank you, guys.” Jack ends his call, then shows his frustration. Winning the National Championship in his hometown, in front of his friends and family, was one of the proudest moments of his entire life. And yet Ricochet and Callis had to end that for him. But he happens to know that Chris Jericho & The Hurt Syndicate are looking for two more partners for Stadium Stampede. And Jack go to thinking, the show is called Double or Nothing. So how about instead of two, Jack brings FOUR! The ELITE! Jack, The Bucks, and KENNY OMEGA! See you there. Ricochet may have just messed himself over, will he regret ever getting involved tonight?

Callis says yes, let’s go have a drink at the 19th Hole and talk about which of the many members of the Don Callis Family are going to join Ricochet in the slaughterhouse! Ricochet says oh yes, so many great choices to choose from! Callis & Ricochet head out, just how massive will this Stadium Stampede match get?

Thekla must now defend her AEW Women’s World Championship in a FATAL 4 WAY! Thekla VS Jamie Hayter VS Kris Statlander VS Hikaru Shida, is The Toxic Spider about to get squashed? Or will she need her Sisters of Sin now more than ever?

BREAKING NEWS for Dynamite!

The annual tradition is back! The 2026 Owen Hart Memorial Tournament begins, with the brackets for both men’s and women’s divisions to be announced on Wednesday! Who makes the cut? And who will become the King & Queen of Harts?

Don Callis speaks, again.

“Just moments away from the AEW World title match between Darby Allin and Pac, and gentlemen, just wanted to let you know that the Don Callis Family, no matter who wins tonight, the Don Callis Family will be waiting for the winner. This Wednesday on Dynamite, the Don Callis Family will take the AEW World title from one of you. And y’know, it’s already been a great night, a big night, for the Don Callis Family! We won gold, but can’t wait to get some more. And on the subject of that, Okada has had to go to Japan to take care of some very important family business. But don’t worry, lads, because I have someone in mind to take his spot this Wednesday in the world title match.

“And it is none other than the firstborn of the Don Callis Family, Konosuke Takeshita, The Alpha!” Takeshita steps in, and Callis tells him, “You’re gonna be the world champion! If you listen to me like you always have, you will be successful, and you will finally fulfill the destiny that I had for you when I plucked you out of obscurity and made you the replacement for Kenny Omega. You’re the best wrestler in the world when you’ve got my game plan in your head. Go win the title.” Konosuke tells Don that he was going to take the International Championship, but now he is the person who will bring the world title back to the Don Callis Family! Unlike Okada.

Takeshita heads out, will he still make himself a double champion when he adds #PrettyPlatinum to the NJPW World Television Championship?

“Speedball” Mike Bailey w/ Kevin Knight VS Kiran Grey!

This match was on standby in case the Divine Dominion didn’t need all five minutes of their time, and now it’s a chance for Speedball to shine! But will he keep his momentum going from last Wednesday’s super show? Or will he get lost in the Grey Area?

Grey is already starting trouble as he pushes Bailey. The ref backs him off, then the bell rings. Grey runs up, but into a BOOT! Grey CLUBS Bailey into a Tree of Woe, then soaks up the heat before he stomps Bailey! Grey tells Bailey to stay down but Bailey grabs  that leg! Bailey uses that to drag himself back up, and he ROCKS Grey again! Bailey dribbles Grey off buckles, then HEADBUTTS him! Grey falls, Bailey takes aim, ULTIMATE WEAPON! Cover, Bailey wins!

Winner: “Speedball” Mike Bailey, by pinfall

A fast win for Speedball, and Knight gets the mic. he says he likes that! Speedball is red hot right now. And though The Jet didn’t get two belts on Wednesday, he’s still the Face of TNT. Now, the future of AEW is wide open, so why not they make it to the top together? They shake hands on it, will JetSpeed shift gears to become a Two Man Power Trip? What belt(s) will they aim for next?

AEW World Championship No Count Outs Match: Darby Allin VS PAC!

Anticipating how wild this one can get given the nature of their grudge, AEW decided to remove some of the obstacles standing in their way. They can’t do anything they want, but they can definitely go anywhere they want here in the SoFi Center! But will Darby even up the career series between them? Or will it be 3-1 in favor of The Bastard?

The introductions are made, the belt is raised, and we see who takes this belt to Dynamite!

The bell rings and the fans rally behind Darby. Darby hops outside already, and he goes around the crowd to be on the golfing green! This is No Count Outs, so he wants to take full advantage of it already! He dares Pac to join him, so Pac heads over to the green! They fire hands on the rough and the fans fire up! Darby ducks, fires hands then HEADBUTTS Pac down! Darby brings Pac up but Pac BACKDROPS Darby! Pac then brings Darby closer to the bunker! Pac suplexes, Darby fights free, and he fires hands! Darby runs up, CODE RED into the sand trap! The fans go nuts seeing what is surely the first one of those ever!

A E DUB!” for making this madness a reality! Darby goes after Pac, but Pac throws sand in Darby’s eyes! Pac then hauls Darby up to BELLY2BELLY SUPLEX Darby into the sand trap! Fairway to Hell returns to single picture as Pac tiles the tag rope to Darby’s chain necklace! Darby can’t get free before Pac BOOTS him! The ref reprimands, but Darby SPITS at Pac! Pac takes that defiance and BOOTS Darby again!

Pac then has Darby’s legs, and YANKS him from the corner! The tag rope breaks and Darby flounders around. Pac whips to then BACKDROP Darby 450 degrees! Pac then builds up speed, but Darby avoids the lariat! The fans fire up as Darby slingshots back in and dragon sleepers for the SCORPION DEATH DROP! Cover, TWO! Pac and Darby are both down while the fans rally up again. Darby crawls to a corner, climbs up top, and he watches Pac rise. Pac turns around, but he manages to trip Darby up first! Pac then climbs up after Darby, hauls him up, and SUPER DUPER FALCON ARROWS! Cover, TWO!! Darby survives and the fans fire up again!

Pac frowns while Darby flounders out of the ring. The fans rally for Darby while Pac takes his time going to the outside. Pac looks under the ring, and he brings out a table! The fans cheer but the ref reprimands, this isn’t No Disqualifications! Pac still sets the table up nearby, making sure it lines up with the corner. Pac puts Darby on the table, then climbs up said corner. The fans freak out, anticipating what Pac is planning, and he steadies himself as he takes aim. Pac SUPER SHOOTING STARS but only gets table!! Darby avoids disaster, and Pac is somehow still in this after his crash landing! Darby puts Pac in, trips him, and steps through!

The fans fire up as Darby steps over, SCORPION DEATHLOCK!! Pac endures, reaches out, but Darby sits deep! Pac fights, claws, reaches out, and powers his way forward! ROPEBREAK! Darby lets Pac go, and Pac waves to the back. Well, of course The Death Riders are here! Darby spots Wheeler Yuta, Daniel Garcia & Marina Shafir storming down the aisle, but then Pac CLOBBERS him! A distraction tactic is good enough as Pac now turns the proverbial tables. Then he signals for them to get something, and they bring out another table! The fans boo as Pac tucks Darby in, TOMBSTONE on the steel steps! The fans go nuts as Darby flops to the floor! Wait, wait, wait, now The Death Riders have STACKED tables?! Pac carries Darby all the way around to the backstage area, because this is the only place to get upstairs! Pac SMACKS Darby off a wall on the way to the stairs, and the ref reprimands while Pac scares off curious fans. Pac drags Darby up the stairs with a headlock, and they go to the upper deck! Pac brings Darby past the nice bar and lounge area, the ref and Death Riders making sure fans don’t get too close. Pac SMACKS Darby off another wall, then drags Darby through this VIP seating area to go to the balcony. Pac stomps Darby to keep him down, then drags him to the balcony railing! And lo and behold, those stacked tables are right there!

The ref reprimands and the fans are freaking out already, but Pac is looking to toss Darby! Darby clings to the railing but Pac CLUBS him. Pac then drags Darby up, but Darby fires body shots! Fairway to Hell returns to single picture as Darby fights desperately! Darby CLAWS Pac’s back, but Marina shouts at Darby! The ref keeps her back, but that lets Pac LOW BLOW Darby! The Problem continues to be just that, but also the insurance policy for the Death Riders! Pac stands Darby up, and THROWS him off!! Darby crashes down through the tables!!! The fans lose their minds all over again while Pac hurries to go back downstairs!

Winner: Darby Allin, by pinfall (still AEW World Champion)

Pac said it himself, Darby is the indestructible boy! But can Darby keep this up? Or will The Alpha come through on his promise and bring this title back to the Don Callis Family this Wednesday?

My Thoughts:

A great hour of AEW here as this special edition of Collision, though “Fairway to Hell” is such a random thing to begin with. They must’ve made a business deal with SoFi and TGL, which to me might be more AEW helping TGL get noticed on a national scale. And changing the status quo with the National Championship was quite the surprise, but that’s still great for Davis. Ricochet being the reason why, and then that compelling The Elite jumping into Stadium Stampede is a bit convoluted. I get they’re using continuity of how Kenny hates Callis and vice-versa, but it undercuts what I was hoping for in Hurt Syndicate getting to introduce new members. But hey, 7v7 is pretty wild, too.

I appreciate Divine Dominion adding something to their squash matches with that five minute goal. Slay & Ley already set a good time with over two minutes, and I’m sure two minutes will be the average as they just dominate all summer. And it seems Alex Windsor is gonna be out a little longer than expected, given that adjustment for Double or Nothing. A Fatal 4 Way is still good for how Thekla can use her challengers against each other, or be protected in a loss if they choose. It also helps bring in the Shidalander story, but it also feels like we’re skipping chapters. That Fatal 4 Way can probably get us to the team breaking up and Shida turning on Statlander for their own feud.

Bailey VS Grey probably was a legit standby match, that went quick. And Knight had a decent promo saying he and Bailey are still gonna be JetSpeed going for all the gold. Not sure if that comes true or just sets things up for the team to fall apart. And then a really wild main event with the “No Count Out” match. They probably could’ve just called that No Holds Barred but they wanted to add heat on how The Death Riders were cheating the second half of that match. Both table spots were risky, but obviously Darby did the crazier one. AEW really needs to be careful not to push it much further than that, though.

Then the news of Okada being out for Dynamite, hopefully it’s nothing too tragic with his family. But Takeshita as the substitute is a good choice, this helps build the Okada VS Takeshita match at the same time as building Darby up. Pretty sure MJF accepts the terms of Title VS Hair, and it’d be very MJF if he were to announce that while attacking Darby to close the show on Wednesday.

My Score: 8.8/10
