Prince Nana leads the way as The Realest walks out one of the brand new tunnels Dynamite brings, and they head to the ring together where Tony Schiavone awaits. Schiavone says they can all hear the response to “Whose House?” “SWERVE’S HOUSE!” What a match at Revolution, though a disappointing result for Swerve. So the question is, what’s next for Swerve Strickland? Swerve says he doesn’t know if he deserves all this praise. What’s Swerve’s House without the keys? This past Sunday, he was in that Triple Threat for the world championship, and he didn’t come out the victor. You know who did? Samoa Joe.
Fans boo but Swerve says it is funny enough. Two years to the day, he and Schiavone were on that stage, Revolution 2022 in Orlando, Florida, and Schiavone was the one to hand him the contract. Everyone cheers that moment, and Swerve hopes Schiavone remembers what he said that night. Swerve said he’d come out here, give his all to AEW and win championships. He said he was gonna be THE AEW World Champion! “But here I stand, here, no gold around my waist, around my shoulder, nothing. Part of me thinks it’s a little bit of karma from all the bad stuff that I’ve done. Y’know, I’ve done some really terrible stuff in AEW, bro.
“Maybe this is payback for that, maybe I’m paying for it now, I dunno. As a matter of fact…” The fans continue with “Whose House?” “SWERVE’S HOUSE!” but Swerve says he has doubts now. Maybe he’s not supposed to be a champion here. Maybe he should be a role player, the guy that gets close enough but can’t quite get it, and he has to settle for “just this.” The fans chant “You Deserve It!” and Schiavone lets Swerve have the mic for himself. Swerve will tell us a little something. Something about Sunday felt real different. He goes to all the arenas, every city, he hears them singing and chant his name.
He sees them do the dance and all that. But something about Greensboro on Sunday felt very different. It felt like the people were truly rooting for him for the first time. Like they really wanted him to win and make history! He heard people flew across the country from his home state of Washington, just to be in the presence of Swerve winning, becoming world champion, and making history. And for that, he will not let them down! The fans cheer, and Swerve says the fact still remains, nothing changes from this point on. “Samoa Joe. Joe, whether you’re still holding that championship or not, I’m coming for you.”
Swerve doesn’t know when or where, but he will beat Samoa Joe, that he promises! “Whose House?” “SWERVE’S HOUSE!” “Whose House?!” “SWERVE’S HOUSE!” “Whose Damn House!?” “SWERVE’S HOUSE!!” But wait! Samoa Joe is here! The champion, the King of Wrestling Television, chuckles and smiles as he makes his way to the ring. The fans cheer as Joe holds up the belt, and then Joe looks to Swerve. Joe gets a mic of his own, and he says, “Y’know, for a man who I beat down the other day, you sure are talking funny. Making a lot of promises to these good people that you will never keep.
“In fact, I’ve come out here to give us a little reality check, maybe adjust our perception. Because here we are, in Swerve’s House!” The fans chant again, “Whose House?” “SWERVE’S HOUSE!” but Joe says unfortunately, that house exists in Joe’s world! The fans boo but Joe says instead of disappointing the people with how Swerve’s almost a world champion, Joe figured he’d come out here to show them a real world champion. Joe spins around so everyone can see him. Swerve tells Joe not to turn his back on Swerve. Second, Joe’s talking real spicy for a man who hasn’t actually beat Swerve.
Joe is waving this title around in Swerve’s face, is he really taunting Swerve? How about they put that on the line tonight? Heck, why wait for later tonight? Let’s do this right now?! But hold on! Here comes The Undisputed Kingdom! Adam Cole wheels out, Matt Taven & Mike Bennett holding up their ROH World Tag Team Championships, Roderick Strong showing off his newly won AEW International Championship, and Wardlow holding his head high as the All-Star Scramble winner, and therefore next in line for an AEW World Championship match. Adam Cole has a mic to say, “Who’s ready for Story Time with Adam Cole BAYBAY?”
Fans are torn but Cole says the only story worth talking about after Revolution is The Undisputed Kingdom. Just like they said, Roddy is the NEW AEW International Champion! The Kingdom are still the greatest ROH World Tag Team Champions of all time! And then there is the two in the ring. Don’t get Cole wrong, Samoa Joe is big and bad, but the only reason he is still AEW World Champion is because the Undisputed Kingdom let it happen. And Swerve! “The hot new thing, right, everybody? Six months from now, no one’s gonna give a damn about you! And the only thing you’re gonna swerve from is the main event scene, because there’s no way in Hell you’re winning the AEW world title.”
The fans boo but Swerve just shrugs that off. Cole says the man who IS going to win that title off Joe is Wardlow! “Very, very soon, Wardlow is gonna challenge and win the AEW World Championship. And when he does, he’s gonna bring it home to its rightful place.” Swerve laughs and says that’s funny. Funny that they’re saying Swerve should go to the back of the line. How many times has Cole had to do that? How many times has he missed out on opportunities and failed and gotten more and more and more opportunities? Matter of fact, Swerve is taking a liking to Cole’s new role as manager in this Undisputed thing.
Really, it’s amusing. Cole’s like Dr. Claw from Inspector Gadget, it’s really funny. And if Cole needs new clients, Swerve’s got Britt Baker’s other number in his pocket right here. Cole says Swerve thinks he’s real cute, real tough! How about this? Next week, the greatest ROH Tag Team Champions, Taven & Bennett, VS Swerve… and JOE! Swerve says why wait? Swerve and Joe are right here, Taven & Bennett are right there. Just bring your asses down and let’s make it happen! Cole says of course that’s what Swerve would say. But here’s the thing: Swerve doesn’t make the rules around here, The Undisputed Kingdom does!
Cole says the match is happening next week, no if’s, ands or buts! Well, Schiavone is getting word, here’s a but! Tony Khan has just said the match is tonight! Taven & Bennett VS Swerve & Joe, and it’s right NOW! Get us a referee! The fans fire up, The Kingdom is furious, but are Bennett & Taven going to pay the check Cole’s mouth just wrote? Joe isn’t really happy about this, either, but will he and Swerve make for a killer combination?

The teams sort out and Joe starts against Taven. They circle, the fans rally up, and the two tie up. They break, Taven says HEEE’S Matt Taven, but Joe JABS! And JABS! And JABS, JABS, JABS! Taven ends up in a corner, Joe fires off more, but Bennett runs up. Joe ROCKS then CHOPS Bennett! Then CHOPS and JABS, JABS, JABS! Joe sits Bennett down, Taven runs in, but Joe dodges the splash! Joe runs in but Taven BOOTS! Bennett ROCKS Joe, Taven goes up, but Joe steps aside so the MISSILE DROPKICK hits Bennett! Joe then gives Taven an atomic drop, then BOOTS him down! Then SENTONS! Cover, TWO!
Joe stalks Taven, brings him up, and HEADBUTTS him down! Joe taunts Swerve but that lets Taven tag Bennett. Joe brings Taven up, but Taven pushes him into Bennett’s SUPERKICK! Taven then springboards for KICK O’ THE KING! Bennett covers, ONE!! Joe stays in this but Bennett stays on him with stomps. Bennett has Joe literally on the ropes and CHOKES him while Dynamite goes picture in picture!
The ref counts, Bennett lets off at 4, and then he brings Joe around. Bennett CHOPS Joe, CHOPS again, but Joe CHOPS back! Bennett staggers, Joe storms up, but Bennett CLAWS Joe’s eyes! Joe is in the corner again, Bennett brings him to the Kingdom’s corner, and he tags Taven. The Kingdom mugs Joe, Taven throws haymakers, then Taven knees low. Taven bumps Joe off buckles, fires hands, and then Bennett HOTSHOTS him! Joe staggers, into Taven’s HEEL KICK! Joe falls over, Taven covers, TWO! Taven is annoyed but he sits Joe up into a chinlock. Joe is already looking a bit red as Taven squeezes tight.
The fans rally, Bennett taunts them, but Joe still fights up. Joe throws body shots, gets free, but Taven CHOP BLOCKS a leg! Taven drags Joe back, tags in Bennett, and Bennett stomps Joe down! Bennett drops an elbow on the knee, traps the leg in a toehold, then gets up to SLAM the leg on the mat! Tag to Taven, they mug Joe, and then Taven CHOPS! And CHOPS! Joe CHOPS Taven in return! And CHOPS again! Taven CLAWS the eyes! The ref reprimands, Taven lets off, but then he CHOKES Joe in a corner! The ref counts again, Taven lets off to argue with Aubrey, but that also lets Bennett sucker punch Joe!
Swerve protests but Taven bumps Joe off buckles. Taven digs his boot in, the ref counts, but Taven lets off. Taven paces around, taunts Swerve, and brings Joe out. Joe CHOPS as Dynamite returns to single picture, but Taven CHOPS back! Taven whips, Joe reverses but Taven stops himself, rolls under Joe’s lariat, and then gets up to ENZIGIRI! Joe goes to the corner, Taven runs up, but into the URENAGE! The fans fire up as Joe staggers, and Swerve tags himself in! Bennett runs in, Swerve BOOTS him into Taven, then goes Matrix to dodge! Swerve kips up, dodges Taven, and rolls him to EDDY GORDO RANA!
Swerve runs at Bennett in the corner and ELBOWS him! Swerve snapmares Bennett, goes up the corner, and FALLING UPPERCUTS! Then he hits the Griddy! The fans are thunderous, then Swerve goes up and out to BOOT Taven! Swerve goes back in, somersaults, FLATLINER! Roll through to the deadlift BRAINBUSTER! “Whose House?!” “SWERVE’S HOUSE!” and Hotlanta is really heating up! Swerve goes up but Taven fires off hands! The ref reprimands but Taven climbs up. Taven CLUBS Swerve, stands him up but Swerve resists the superplex! Swerve throws hands, then SLAPS Taven!
Swerve DECKS Taven, aims at Bennett, KILL STOMPS!! Swerve stares Joe down, then catches Taven! Atomic FACEBUSTER, and HOUSE CALL!! Swerve gets Taven up, for the J M L DRIVER!! Cover, Swerve & Joe win!

Swerve grins at Joe and Joe glares back. Nana does his dance, but then Joe steps back into the ring as Wardlow makes his way back down the ramp. Swerve says come get some, but Joe puts on the COQUINA CLUTCH!! Fans boo as Joe punishes Swerve for taking the spotlight, but he also sends a message to The Undisputed Kingdom’s War Dog. Joe stands over Swerve holding up the belt, will no one knock The King of Wrestling TV off his throne? We’ll see next week in Boston for AEW Big Business!
Backstage interview with Hook.
Renee Paquette is with the Cold-Hearted Handsome Devil and notes “there is so much built-up animosity and history” between Hook and Brian Cage. Tonight, they go 1v1 for the FTW Championship, how is Hook feeling? But then in walks Chris Jericho. Jericho apologizes for the interruption, but he says the very first match he ever had in America as Lionheart Chris Jericho was at the ECW Arena against Hook’s dad, Taz. Taz suplex’d Jericho right on his head, and he never forgot. But he also has always had a connection to Taz because of it, so it makes Jericho feel like he has a connection to Hook.
Jericho never really respected Hook until Hook dumped him on his head this past Sunday. And after that, Jericho realized that Hook might just be the real deal. Congrats on that. Jericho and Hook fist bump and Hook heads out. Will Hook do his dad and all of ECW proud by tearing down The Machine?
The Young Bucks speak.
Matthew & Nicholas Jackson are backstage, and Matt says it is great to be here in Duluth, Georgia. Nick says they have a huge announcement! Or rather, two huge announcements. First- Oh, sorry to interrupt. Let’s make those two huge announcements live and in the ring later tonight. For now, let’s get back to the action! Given the forced delivery of those lines and the very forced smiles, the Bucks are clearly still stinging from their loss at Revolution. But just what exactly are the EVPs going to announce tonight?
FTW Championship: Hook VS Brian Cage!
The Ocho just gave the Cold-Hearted Handsome Devil his seal of approval, but this isn’t about earning respect. This is about the score finally being settled by two men who were once allies under Team Taz. Will the second generation star finally prove there is someone better than Cage? Or will The Machine #SendHook home for good?
The introductions are made, the belt is raised, and we see who is truly FTW!
The bell rings, Cage runs up but Hook gets around to throw body shots! The fans fire up, Cage shoves Hook, and he FLAPJACKS Hook, to then SUPERKICK! The fans fire up as Cage puts Hook in a corner. Hook dodges Cage, then clinches, but Cage fights the suplex! Cage shoves Hook, Hook ducks the lariat to waistlock, but Cage elbows free. Cage waistlocks to GERMAN SUPLEX! Hook ends up in the corner, Cage runs up to UPPERCUT! LARIAT! And then ARM-TRAP SUPLEX! The fans boo but Cage soaks it up, and Taz notes he taught Cage that move. Cage goes out and this title match is FTW Rules, so Cage brings out a chair!
Hook crawls around the outside while Cage wedges the chair in a corner. Hook goes looking, the fans want tables, but Hook BLASTS Cage with a fire extinguisher! Cage sputters and falls out of the ring, and Hook runs up to SMACK him with a trash can lid! And then SMACK him again! Hook runs up to SMACK Cage again! Cage knees low, whips Hook hard into steel steps, and both men are down on the outside. The fans rally up, Cage runs up, but Hook moves! Cage’s knee hits the steel steps! Hook then leaps, but into a POWERSLAM to the floor! Hook writhes, Cage snarls, and Cage runs up, but Hook moves again! Cage crashes THROUGH the railing!!
The fans lose their minds and the ref checks Cage, and Dynamite goes picture in picture.
Hook storms his way over to Cage, drags him up, and then ROCKS him with a right! Cage staggers around, Hook CLUBS him along through the crowd, then fires off forearms against the railing! Hook lets off to fire up the fans, but Cage DUMPS him over the railing and to the ramp! Cage stomps Hook around, brings him up the ramp, and then scoops to SLAM him on the ramp! Hook writhes, Cage goes around the way and fetches some spare railing! Cage brings that railing right into the ring! Cage then kicks Hook, throws him into barriers, and then brings Hook around to RAM into more barriers!
Cage looks under the ring, brings out a kendo stick, puts that in the ring, and then brings out a trash can! The can goes into the ring, and Cage snatches the bell’s hammer! Cage CLUBS Hook with it! And CLUBS him again! Hook flounders around, Cage props up the spare railing in a corner. Cage then goes out to get a chair, and he SMACKS Hook right as Dynamite returns to single picture! Cage puts Hook in the ring, looms over him, and brings him up. Cage fireman’s carries, aims for the chair, FULL METAL DDT as Hook counters!! The fans are thunderous and they rally behind “HOOK! HOOK! HOOK!”
Cage and Hook rise, and Hook LARIATS! Cage stays up, so Hook LARIATS again! Cage still stays up, so Hook runs again. Hook ducks Cage’s discus to then LARIAT Cage down! The fans fire up more, Hook clinches for the T-BONE PLEX! Cage flounders, Hook gets a trash can lid, and he SMASHES it on Cage’s head! Then the T-BONE onto the railing!! The fans fire up and Hook covers, TWO!! Cage survives even though his body was used to bend the railing! Hook sits Cage up to crossface forearm! But Cage slips out the back, wheelbarrows and NECKBREAKERS! Hook writhes, Cage brings a chair back over, and he gets Hook up.
Cage lifts Hook to POWERBOMB, then deadlift and fireman’s carry, FULL METAL F5!! Cover, TWO!!! Hook survives and Cage is furious! Cage goes looking under the ring, and he brings out a black bag! Fans anticipate what’s in the bag, and Cage pours it out. Yep, it’s THUMBTACKS! The fans say Cage is sick, but Cage suplexes! Hook slips free to REDRUM!! But Cage RAMS Hook into the corner chair! Cage then drags Hook back up, but Hook JAMS him with a kendo stick! And SMACKS him! And SMACKS him again! Then T-BONE onto the tacks!!! The fans lose their minds while Cage writhes! Hook isn’t done, he crossface forearms!
Hook CLUBS away, then clamps on REDRUM!!! Cage fights up, though, and DROPS onto the tacks!! But Hook holds on!! Cage flails, he sputters, he’s OUT!! Hook wins!!

Cage could not stop Hook, but wait! The Gates of Agony jump in! Bishop Kaun CLOBBERS Hook from behind! Toa Liona stomps away with Kaun and the fans boo! The Embassy are sore losers! But wait, here comes Jericho! Jericho has Floyd the Baseball Bat and he CRACKS Liona! Liona & Kaun retreat, but Jericho chucks a trash can at them! Will Jericho help Hook tear down the Gates of Agony?
An AEW World Tag Team Championship Tournament is about to begin!
With Sting retiring as a champion, he and Darby Allin must now vacate the titles, so AEW is about to have its own March Madness! Tony Khan believes that from start to finish, March 2024 will be one of the greatest and most important ever in AEW history. Then the only thing left is to ask is, who gets in, and who gets to be the NEW AEW World Tag Team Champions?
Backstage interview with Best Friends.
Renee is with Orange Cassidy, Chuck Taylor & Trent Beretta, and says that Cassidy had an incredible run as International Champion, but it came to an end at Revolution. What is next for Freshly Squeezed? Um, well, same as he always does, and that’s do whatever he can to fill his backpack with another championship. Then let’s talk about the AEW Tag Team tournament. Are Chuck & Trent going to get in on the tournament? The Kentucky Gentleman says that it is about time they win the big one! Though unfortunately, the boys are not back in time, Chuck’s ankle is still hurt and he is still not cleared.
But Chuck is thinking Trent & Cassidy should get in on the tournament and win the whole dang thing! Guess what? Friday Night Rampage is their first match! Bring it in! Trent says, “Boys, it’s time to win the big one.” They count it out, three, two, one, WIN THE BIG ONE! Will Freshly Squeezed & #JustTrent become a dynamic duo that wins the gold?

Christian Cage’s Right Hand of Destruction had a hand in Christian retaining the TNT Championship, just like before. But now he is going to settle things with Daddy Magic, who did his best to tip the scales in Daniel Garcia’s favor! Can Menard find a way to bring down the wrestling dinosaur once and for all?
The moment Menard’s in the ring, he rushes Luchasaurus! The bell rings, Menard fires off and the fans fire up! Luchasaurus shoves Menard down, but Menard comes back and fires off more shots! Christian has joined commentary to say he only felt it fair with Menard always hanging around Garcia’s matches. Menard climbs up a corner to rain down fists but Luchasaurus shoves him away. The fans fire up behind Menard as he clotheslines in a corner! Menard goes up to rain down more fists! Luchasaurus drags Menard down and choke grips, but Menard bends fingers! Luchasaurus goes to a corner and Menard climbs again!
Menard rains down fists, the fans count and finally, Menard gets TEN! Menard then brings Luchasaurus around, runs up and LARIATS! Luchasaurus stays up but wobbles, Menard runs and LARIATS again! Luchasaurus drops to a knee, Menard runs again, but into a choke grip! JURASSIC CHOKE SLAM!! Luchasaurus roars, Christian rants about holding the younger generation down, and then Luchasaurus hauls Menard up. Menard throws hands! The fans fire up but Luchasaurus HEADBUTTS then LARIATS! Luchasaurus drags Menard up again, for the EXTINCTION LARIAT! But he’s not done!?
Luchasaurus stands Menard up and Christian says this is Luchasaurus having fun now. EXTINCTION LARIAT again! Cover, Luchasaurus wins!

Christian says he is a very proud father. And Luchasaurus isn’t done because this is what Menard gets for sticking his nose in the Patriarchy’s business. WAIT! Garcia runs out here to fire off shots! Christian sends Nick Wayne but Garcia fires off on him, too! Christian is furious, but Luchasaurus BOOTS Garcia down! Christian also insults Garcia’s pants. Luchasaurus sets Garcia up for WAYNE’S WORLD! Christian is proud of his “sons,” Nick has the world at his feet. “There’s nothing Nick Wayne can’t do under my guidance.” Father Christian & Mother Shayna leave commentary to walk up the ramp with The Patriarchy, will anyone ever-
WAIT! Adam Copeland is here!! And he CLOBBERS Luchasaurus from behind to TOSS him off the stage, and down through some tables!! Then he puts a SLEEPER onto Nick! Captain Charisma is too afraid of the Rated R Superstar to save his “son!” Edge pushes Nick down, then glares at Christian. But Mother Shayna sneaks up, to LOW- NO! Edge blocks that! The fans fire up and Shayna wants mercy. Edge just chases Christian instead! Christian runs away into the crowd but Edge pursues! They go to the back, cameras follow, and Christian does his best to block Edge’s path! Edge isn’t slowed down at all so Christian gets out of the building!
Christian spots a car, YANKS the driver out and takes off! Edge tells the camera that Christian ran away like a little b*tch. He knows Christian will watch this later, so Edge wants him to know this will end where it all started. Toronto, March 20th, Dynamite, Edge VS Christian 3 for the TNT Championship… in an I QUIT MATCH!! See you there, Jay. Will things go beyond Rated R to finally finish this between the former best friends?
Backstage interview with Kyle O’Reilly.
Renee is with the returning Mr. Combat and says it is so good to see him back. He has been gone nearly two YEARS! What were those two years like for him? Kyle says he hates to admit this, but for awhile, he didn’t think he would ever wrestle again. But to be here now, to be cleared, to feel the love from the fans, and to get a second chance to do the only thing he’s ever truly been good at, and a second chance to provide for his family, he’s just grateful. Renee says that moment at Revolution, Kyle in the ring with Roderick Strong & The Undisputed Kingdom, what happened out there?
Kyle says he has nothing but love and respect for The Undisputed Kingdom. But they all have to understand that Kyle has fallen so far down the mountain, he doesn’t know what path to take. He could’ve gotten back on the path with his friends, but in many ways, that’s the easy path. Kyle has this second chance, and wants to do it on his own. Then what will that new path for Kyle look like now that he’s back in AEW?
Tony Schiavone is in the ring.
After watching the recap package of Sting’s final match, he notes it was truly an incredible night for all of wrestling. And now, let’s welcome out our EVPs, Matthew & Nicholas, The Young Bucks! The fans boo but Nick & Matt make their way out, just as they promised earlier tonight. The Bucks even gave themselves some extra pyro, it seems. Schiavone says that’s a great entrance from them after the “ass-kicking” they took on Sunday. Nick snatches the mic and tells Schiavone to get the hell out of THEIR ring! The fans boo but Schiavone still exits, and Nick says they’re moving past that already!
Matter of fact, Nick accuses Darby & Sting of cheating! Sting brought his friends from the retirement home and even his sons, who each happen to be 6’8″ and 300 pounds! Uh, no, not really… Matt calms Nick down, and Nick says yes, Matt brings up a good point. There is something you can’t take away from The Bucks, and that is the fact they’re the EVPs, and they ended Sting’s career FOREVER~! Fans boo because Sting was retiring either way. Nick then brings up the upcoming tag team tournament. So of course, The Bucks are in it! They’re gonna get those tag titles back!
Matt says on to tonight’s agenda. They have two huge announcements. First, it is really just some housekeeping, and this is really tough now that Matt thinks about it. It pertains to their dear friends. But they are EVPs dammit and they take this job seriously. So in an effort to show there is no favoritism or bias here, The Bucks are forced. Hangman Page…! You put your hand on AEW officials last Sunday and that is crossing the line! Matt feels bad that he has to say this, but unfortunately, Hangman must be suspended indefinitely from The Elite, without pay. Wait, The Elite or AEW? Is there even really a punishment?
Continuing on, Matt isn’t even sure how to get through this one. Nick encourages him and Matt tells Kenny Omega that it’s like he disappeared off the face of the Earth or something. Kenny hasn’t made any of his dates for no good reason! Matt doesn’t understand! But Kenny has diverticulitis, that IS a big reason! The Galaxy’s Greatest won alongside Willow Nightingale during Revolution’s Zero Hour, and she is looking to get back up towards that TBS Championship. However, the inaugural AEW Women’s World Champion is herself wanting to get back to the top of the mountain! Will Kris make sure she’s back in the title scene’s orbit? Or will Riho be one step closer to her former glory?

Kris tumbles then staggers to her feet, but she holds off the Northern Lights! Kris CLUBS away on Riho, gut wrenches her up, but Riho fights free.
Riho ducks ‘n’ dodges, baits Kris to the ropes for a drop toehold! Kris is on the ropes as Riho dials it up, but Stokely warns Kris! Kris avoids the 619 and gets moving to run Riho over! Cover, TWO as Riho goes Matrix! Riho runs, sunset flips but Kris stays up! Kris yanks Riho right up and into a BEARHUG! Kris thrashes Riho around, Stokely likes that, and then Kris smiles as she pops Riho into a suplex! Kris holds Riho up for FIVE before the SLAM! The fans cheer, Kris drags Riho up and bumps her off buckles. Kris CHOPS, then she whips Riho into the corner again. Kris runs up, but Riho dodges!
Riho runs in to fire off forearms on Kris and the fans fire up! But Kris TOSSES Riho back in! Kris runs, but Riho BOOTS her! Riho goes up, BOOTS again, and then leaps to CROSSBODY! But Kris catches her, fireman’s carries, and just THROWS Riho down! Kris flexes and the fans cheer while Dynamite goes picture in picture.
Kris drags Riho around, covers, TWO! Riho stays in this but Kris stays on her with a whip to the corner. Kris then reels Riho in to suplex, and she holds Riho up for TEN, then FIFTEEN, then TWENTY before the SLAM! Cover, TWO!! Riho is still in this though a bit dazed, but Kris brings her right up. Kris hits a BACKBREAKER, then brings Riho up for another BACKBREAKER! Then Kris bends Riho against her knee! Riho endures, so Kris picks her back up, for a SIDEWALK SLAM! Cover, TWO! Stokely is annoyed on behalf of Kris but Kris drags Riho into the body scissor squeeze! Riho endures and throws elbows into the knees!

Riho survives and Kris can’t believe it! Stokely offers the chain, just like last week!
Stokely distracts the ref, and Kris crawls over to the chain!? Is Kris gonna do it?! The fans boo, but then Kris drops the chain outside the ring! The fans cheer Kris’ sense of justice, but Riho rolls her up! Kris rolls through, Riho wheelbarrows, but Kris makes that a WHEELBARROW GERMAN!! And then she deadlift GERMANS! Riho flops around, Kris waistlocks to deadlift, but Riho fights! Kris powers up, Riho victory rolls and has Kris deep, RIHO WINS!!

Kris is shocked, the fans are shocked, and Stokely is disappointed! But is he disappointed that he caused Kris unnecessary conflict? Or that Kris didn’t just do what he wanted? As for Riho, is she headed right for a title shot in time for AEW Dynasty?
Backstage interview with “Timeless” Toni Storm.
Renee is in the black ‘n’ white filter as she congratulates AEW’s leading lady on retaining the AEW Women’s World Championship, albeit under dubious circumstances. The camera pans over and we see that’s Mariah May in her rocker Toni cosplay. THE Toni Storm pops out from behind her to say they fooled Renee, just like they fooled that Deonna Purrazzo into thinking she had a hope in Hell at ever winning the title. Toni asks Renee, “What season is it?” Uh, Spring. Oh, so Renee only looks smart. No, dear, it is awards season! And as such, this Saturday on “Co-li-zi-on,” she will be presenting the first ever Toni Awards! Note it’s with an I so they can’t get sued.
But that reminds her! Luther! He presents Storm with Mariah May’s first ever shirt, which is in the same style as Storm’s first ever shirt. Mariah is honored, but Storm says she will be getting a cut of profits. Until next time: chin up; tits out; and watch for the- SHOE~! Storm hushes Mariah, that’s not her line. Renee is with them after the unfortunate loss for Kris Statlander. What went wrong out there? Stokely chuckles and repeats, “What went wrong? Kris Statlander wanted to do things her way, but let me just say, she is one of the best female competitors we have here in AEW. She is my favorite! I just wish that she would, uh, accept the help from the ones who love her the most, y’know?” Then Renee has some good news. Next week, for Big Business, Willow goes 1v1 with Riho. That is good! Willow tells Stokely that she gets what he was trying to do, but next time, just let her do things her way.
As for Riho, Willow knows she can beat the former Women’s World Champion, and she wants to be a champion in AEW herself. She’s feeling really good after Revolution, because she and Kris beat Skye & Julia. So Julia, Willow has her sights set on your title! And Willow is going to become the Face of TBS! Just gotta get through Riho first. The Babe with the Power is ready, but will she be able to do what Kris could not?
Tony Schiavone is in the ring again.
He welcomes a man who will be facing Jay White for Big Business, who had a hell of a night at Revolution, and is/was one-half of the AEW World Tag Team Champions, Darby Allin! The fans fire up as Darby makes his way to the ring, holding one of the tag title belts in one hand, and Sting’s baseball bat in the other! Darby steps into the ring with Schiavone, and while Schiavone wants to ask what is next, we already know. Next wee, Dynamite in Boston, Darby VS Switchblade. But then the question is, what is it like for Darby without Sting? The fans chant for “DARBY! DARBY!” and he says, “This isn’t gonna be easy, Tony. It’s crazy if you think about it.
“About five years ago, I was homeless about 40 minutes from here, in downtown Atlanta. And then Sunday, I was main-eventing one of AEW’s best PPVs of all time in Sting’s retirement match. I said I’d stop at nothing to make sure his career ended with the respect it deserved, and I felt like I did just that.” The fans cheer in agreement there. Darby says he is lacerated, beat up, tired, but what’s next? Well, Big Business is him and Jay White. Then March 27th, he’s gonna climb Mount Everest! The fans cheer that, too! Darby says this is him from the heart here. There is no guarantee that he’s gonna come back alive from Everest.
But Darby wants to take this time now to tell every fan thank you, and thank you to AEW for giving him this dream. And if next week is his last-ever match, he will do what he always does, and that is go out fighting for his life! As for his tag team championship, everyone keeps asking him, “Oh, why not just keep defending it with a new partner?” Well let’s get serious here, he can’t replace The Icon! The fans feel that! So then, the next team that wins these, congrats. Darby sets the belt down, but then the Bang Bang Scissor Gang makes their way out! Or at least, the Bullet Club Gold half of it, as Jay White leads Austin & Colten out here.
White has everyone hold on now. He is sorry, he didn’t wanna interrupt this “cute little sob story.” But it’s just that Darby is such an elusive and, let’s be honest, weird guy that White wasn’t sure if he’d get a chance to talk to him backstage. So White had to come out here, Atlanta, to tell Darby that face to face, congrats on an amazing night at Revolution. The fans cheer agreement there. White tells Darby that he showed the world that he would do anything. That he’d sacrifice himself just to make sure Sting would retire a champion. Give it up for Stinger, huh? The fans cheer, and White says Darby really was ready to risk it all, jumping off that ladder!
Though, if you ask White, that was kinda stupid. “Our esteemed EVPs” moved outta the way, and Darby… Well, White really likes this part. Darby went crashing through glass all by himself! That left poor old Sting all by himself to fight 2v1 against the Bucks! But luckily Sting prevailed. He had that heartwarming sendoff to his career he oh-so deserved, and Darby was there by Sting’s side to enjoy that moment. Well, White didn’t see it, but he’s heard about it, because it is all anyone is talking about. But between White, Darby and Atlanta (as well as everyone watching right now), White doesn’t really care.
Fans boo but White says that what he does care about is, Sting is gone~! And Darby’s all alone~! And what is Darby without Sting? He’s a little lost puppy, no one there to feed him treats or clean up after him, or to… hold his leash. And now, Darby has a match with the Switchblade, Jay White! The Catalyst of Pro-Wrestling! That is why White is here. He wants to tell Darby that they don’t even need to have this match. Just like Darby didn’t have to jump off that ladder, Darby doesn’t have to get in the ring with White. And trust White when he says this: Nobody in the back, nobody here in Atlanta and nobody watching at home would think less of Darby.
No one would think less of Darby after what he’s been through both physically, mentally and emotionally. The fans boo but White says that Darby should know, if he gets into the ring with White, there’s a lot worse that can happen than just some scratches. So here’s a better idea! This is how they can preserve their precious Darby Allin! Instead of a match, Darby can hang with the bang Bang Scissor Gang! They even have a nickname for Darby! Ready to hear it, Atlanta? Does Darby wanna hear it? It’s Darby Scissorhands! He looks like he loves playing with scissors, given that shirt. So throw ’em up, join the team, and he can scissor Daddy Ass!
Darby asks if White’s done. Yeah, he’s done. Then Darby will get right to the point. White main-evented Tokyo Dome twice, won titles all around the world, then came to AEW, and done what? Played with cardboard cutouts? Darby doesn’t believe the hype! They ARE gonna have this match, and if White is as good as he thinks, he’d show up alone. White smirks, but then Darby whispers something to him. White gets serious now, he looks to the Gunn sons, then turns around, and Darby presses the bat to White’s neck! The Gunns have White cool off, the match is happening. Darby tells him, “I’ll see you at Big Business, baby.”

Fletcher hears the count, and he springs in at 9.5! Ospreay goes COAST2COAST! Then he hauls Fletcher up, TIGER DRIVER! Cover, TWO!! Fletcher survives and Ospreay is surprised! The fans are volcanic, they want these two to “FIGHT FOREVER!” but this has to end somehow! Ospreay vows to end this, and he drags Fletcher up. Fletcher throws floppy punches but Ospreay gives him Kawada Kicks! Ospreay eggs Fletcher on, and Fletcher stands to get in Ospreay’s face! Fletcher fires a forearm, and another, and another! Ospreay does wobble, but he gets around to full nelson!
Fletcher elbows free but Ospreay HOOK KICKS again! Ospreay runs, but Fletcher dodges! But Ospreay slips through again, gets Fletcher up, but Fletcher slips free! Fletcher lifts Ospreay up but Ospreay pops out the back! Fletcher ducks the hook kick to SUPERKICK! Fletcher runs, but into the SPANISH FLY!! Cover, TWO!!! Fletcher is still in this but Ospreay springboards, OSCUTTER!! Cover, TWO?!?!? Fletcher is superhuman like Ospreay was at Revolution, but Ospreay takes off the elbow pad! Don Callis of course takes credit for this amazing main event, but there’s no doubting that this was an amazing main event! Callis joins his Family in the ring as Ospreay and Fletcher shake hands. But wait! Bryan Danielson makes his way out here? The American Dragon steps to the Aerial Assassin, and the fans are fired up for this stare down! When and where will we see these two give us this dream match?
My Thoughts:
An awesome Dynamite here, with not just a good looking new stage and a fairly good looking new logo, but also a lot of build towards pretty much everything coming up on the schedule. For one, Okada showing up but to be a Heel was a huge surprise. I suppose this has been a long time coming, though, as Okada has been bordering on Heel for some time now. A change of venue and a change in his character is good stuff for Okada to make his signing with AEW feel fresh as opposed to some sort of rehash of what he’d been doing in NJPW. And him specifically joining The Bucks to basically replace Kenny & Hangman in The Elite was also a big surprise, perhaps Okada will be like AEW’s “Corporate Champion” with The Bucks stacking the deck for him.
Speaking of stacking the deck, pretty sure we’re gonna see shenanigans from The Bucks in the tag team tournament. The video package they used to introduce it pretty much hinted at who is in it, and you can bet that both FTR and Mox-Claudio will meet again, probably in the semifinals. And it’d be very fitting in story that FTR VS Bucks is the finals to crown the new champions. The other semifinal team is probably going to be Cassidy & Trent. The Best Friends had a good promo to plug Cassidy & Trent getting in on things, but there’s a very good chance they lose out, and maybe that creates a rift between Trent and Cassidy. Trent has felt like he’s bordering on being a Heel, much like Okada. Could Trent betray Best Friends to join Okada in New Elite, given their friendship through NJPW’s Chaos?
Great promo from Darby to not just say one last goodbye to Sting but to also spark a possible feud with Jay White. Though, Darby made things really real in talking about Mount Everest, and he also has a point that he’s taking one of the biggest risks anyone could take. Let’s all hope and pray that Darby will be safe and sound both going up and down Everest so that he can come back, feud with White, and maybe even get himself into the world title scene. Speaking of which, awesome stuff out of that scene, with a great promo from Swerve and Joe, then great stuff from Cole and Swerve, and then a great match from Joe & Swerve VS Kingdom.
Joe & Swerve of course won, and then Joe chokes Swerve out to stand tall going into his match with Wardlow next week. But even with that, I don’t see Wardlow winning. Joe and Swerve deserve a 1v1 match for the world title at Dynasty, and maybe Wardlow ends up feuding with the rest of The Undisputed Kingdom after he fails to grab the world title for Cole. I could see Wardlow getting the International Championship off Roddy, that’d at least give him some other accomplishment to add to being a former TNT Champion. And good promo from Kyle, it put into words what we saw at Revolution, and there’s still a lot of potential for Kyle feuding with Undisputed Kingdom because his “friends” can’t accept that he wants to do things solo.
Great FTW Championship match for Hook and Cage, and great win for Hook. Jericho of course has to get in on Hook’s story, but I suppose him helping Hook against the Gates of Agony is a logical move, too. I almost feel like this is going to turn a corner and Jericho has a FTW Championship match with Hook just because so that Jericho can put Hook over like Jericho did with Cassidy. And really fun promo from Toni Storm with Mariah May where Mariah is clearly still cosplaying Toni’s old persona. Can’t wait to see Toni put herself over time and again with her Toni Awards, and maybe Deonna comes back for revenge and a rematch at Dynasty.
Riho VS Kris was great stuff, and great use of internal conflict as Kris did hold the chain in her hand. Riho winning to add to that story was good stuff, and good promo from Willow to hype up her match with Riho. I know Willow wants after Julia Hart but I can’t be sure if Willow really does beat Riho. Julia had a good promo to plug a TBS Championship match, she’ll of course win, and one way or another, she’s facing either Willow or Kris at Dynasty. And then good promos from House of Black but also Mark Briscoe and Jay Lethal. The Six Man Street Fight is going to be awesome, though Buddy saying he’ll literally burn Mark almost made me think Inferno match.
Then just an awesome, PPV level main event from Ospreay VS Fletcher, both guys looking amazing. Ospreay of course wins, though, but then Bryan showing up was great stuff. Bryan VS Ospreay for Dynasty will be huge stuff, and will go a long way in putting Ospreay on track for the AEW World Championship for All In: London II. And yeah, you gotta know that’s the long term plan. What else would you do for the return to Wembley now that Will Ospreay is full-time All Elite?

O’Reilly fires off kicks, Fletcher headlocks, but O’Reilly powers out. Fletcher RUNS O’Reilly over! Things keep moving, O’Reilly hits a kitchen sink knee! The fans fire up and O’Reilly drags Fletcher over. Tag to Cole and Fletcher backs off. Cole eggs Fletcher on, but Trent Beretta tags in. The fans boo as Cole and #JustTrent circle. They tie up, Cole wrenches to wristlock, and fans chant “We Want Kyle!” Trent rolls, wrenches, but Cole rolls and rolls and wrenches back. Cole brings Trent over, tag to Roddy, and they mug Trent.
Roddy hoists Trent up, Cole joins in, BACK SUPLEX NECKBREAKER COMBO! Callis says that’s awful to do to someone with a repaired neck! Roddy CHOPS Trent, then tags O’Reilly. The fans cheer as Roddy & Kyle KICK and CHPO Trent on repeat! Rocky Romero runs up but Kyle KICKS him away! Tag to Cole, he and O’Reilly double whip Trent for a KNEE and basement DROPKICK! Cover, TWO! Cole drags Trent up, ROCKS him and has him on the ropes. Cole bumps Trent off buckles, stomps a mudhole in, and Garland tells Callis off. Tag to O’Reilly, he KICKS and fires forearms on Trent! Tag to Roddy and the KICKS and CHOPS return!
Rocky comes back in, he gets another KICK for it, and then Roddy & O’Reilly DOUBLE SUPLEX Trent onto Rocky! Cover on Trent, TWO! Roddy drags Trent up, ROCKS him, then CHOPS him! Fletcher storms in but he gets a CHOP! But Trent CLOBBERS Roddy! Trent hot tags Fletcher! The fans fire up for Kyle as he stomps away on Roddy in the corner! Rocky adds on, the ref reprimands them all, but Kyle is all fired up! The fans cheer the Protostar as he drags Roddy up to scoop and SLAM! Cover, ONE!! Rocky & Fletcher mug Roddy, then Rocky UPPERCUTS! Trent CHOKES Roddy, but he stops as the ref spots him. Rocky CHOPS Roddy, tags Trent, and RPG Vice mugs Roddy. Trent CLUBS Roddy, keeps him from Paragon, and tags Rocky. Rocky runs in to LARIAT! That’s one-ever! Then he hits two-ever! Then three-ever, but Roddy dodges! Hot tag to O’Reilly! O’Reilly fires knees on Rocky, then KICKS and haymakers! LEG SWEEP! The fans fire up but Trent runs in. O’Reilly sends him to the corner and forearm SMASHES! Whip corner to corner, Trent tumbles up then back down, into a KICK!
Fletcher steps in but O’Reilly gets him first! DRAGON SCREW! O’Reilly aims at Trent, takes a leap, but Trent dodges, so the FLYING KNEE hits Rocky! Trent KNEES O’Reilly low, whips him, but O’Reilly reverses! Trent hits barriers hard! O’Reilly lines up the shot again, FLYING DROPKICK into Trent! But Fletcher BOOTS O’Reilly off the apron! Rocky builds speed and DIVES! O’Reilly hits the desk! Fletcher taunts Cole, the ref keeps Paragon back, and the Don Callis Family soaks up the heat as Collision goes picture in picture.
Archer gets a cheap shot in while the ref was busy with Paragon. Rocky drags O’Reilly into the ring for a cover, TWO! Rocky drags O’Reilly to center, CLUBS his arm again and again, then brings him up for a CHOP! O’Reilly staggers around, Rocky tags Fletcher, and Fletcher runs up to BOOT O’Reilly! Fletcher scoops O’Reilly to SLAM, then clamps on a chinlock! O’Reilly endures, the fans rally while Paragon coaches O’Reilly, and O’Reilly stands. Fletcher hits a BIG back suplex to bring O’Reilly down! Fletcher grins and stands over O’Reilly before bringing him over. Tag to Rocky and the mugging continues.
Rocky talks trash, but O’Reilly fires hands! Rocky kicks back, CHOPS, and CHOPS again! Then he UPPERCUTS O’Reilly! Tag to Fletcher and the mugging just keeps going! Fletcher stomps a mudhole in, but then Rocky gets a cheap shot behind the ref’s back. Fletcher stands O’Reilly back up, Collision returns to single picture, and the fans rally up. Mortos stays clear, runs up, but Mistico dodges to RANA! Mortos tumbles, the fans fire up, and Mistico runs to springboard! But Mortos catches him! Mortos swings Mistico, Mistico slips free and DROPKICKS Mortos onto the ropes! Mistico speed dials to 619! Mortos staggers, Mistico springboards, FLYING RANA! Mortos tumbles out of the ring and the fans fire up behind Mistico. Mistico builds speed and WRECKS Mortos with a dropkick!
Mistico gets going again and he DIVES! Direct hit but Mortos stays up! Mistico says third time is the charm, and he DIVES! Down goes Mortos! The fans fire up and Mistico rises. Collision returns and Mortos has Mistico in the corner. The fans duel as Mortos lifts Mistico with a gorilla press! Mistico fights free, shoves Mortos to a corner, then runs in, only to be put on the apron! Mistico GAMANGIRIS first, Mortos runs back in, but into another GAMANGIRI! Mistico springboards for the CROSSBODY! Then springboards for the FLYING RANA! The fans fire up and Mistico runs in, but Mortos pops him up to a torture rack! Swing and- RANA! Mistico turns things around on Mortos and the fans fire up again. Mistico runs, Mortos stands, springboard BACK ELBOW! Cover, TWO!
Mortos is tougher than that, but Mistico keeps focus. Mistico rallies the fans again, goes to ropes, and he runs back up to tilt-o-whirl! But Mortos SLAMS him down! Cover, TWO! Mortos drags Mistico up to whip, but Mistico ducks ‘n’ dodges, rolls and SUNSET BOMBS! Cover, TWO!! Mortos survives and the fans rally up again! Mistico feeds off that energy and rises up. Mortos runs in, but into an OVERHEAD SUPLEX into buckles! Both men are down again and the fans fire back up! Mistico runs and tilt-o-whirls, LA MYSTICA!! Mortos TAPS to the armbar, Mistico wins!

A big win for Mistico and he is undefeated in AEW! But that’s 1v1, and the Casino Gauntlet could end up a Triple Threat or more! Will Mistico be able to defy the odds and win big at- Wait, MJF is on the tron wearing Mistico’s mask! MJF claps to mock Mistico and says that’s all he does! Mistico claps like a circus seal because he’s a jabroni! And what’s this? This is the mask MJF ripped clean off Mistico’s stupid skull. MJF knows everyone is so excited for Mistico to go to the Casino Gauntlet to get in the way of MJF and MJF’s world title. Well, then Mistico has another thing coming. Mistico won’t get in because MJF is going to pin Mark Briscoe in three seconds of the bell!

Hangman moves on to find Swerve’s locker room! Hangman pushes right through the door to find Ospreay, Swerve & Nana. Ospreay says please, let’s not do this just two days before All In! Swerve is upset Hangman is doing this right in his locker room. Hangman tells Ospreay he just needs two minutes. Ospreay isn’t so sure, but Swerve says it’s fine. Ospreay steps aside, but Hangman does thank Ospreay for everything.
Nana says he’s gonna get some coffee. Does Swerve want some? Swerve shakes his head no. Nana scoots out of the room, and Swerve chuckles. He knows what this is about. He knows why Hangman is here. Hangman is asking for help! Go ahead, ask him for help! It’s why he’s here, right? No, that’s not why. Hangman couldn’t even if he tried. But he is going into a suicide mission on Saturday, and he figured if he doesn’t say this now, he’ll never have the chance. Hangman just wanted to do what he should’ve done two years ago. Hangman takes a seat, puts the chain down, and Swerve also takes a seat to hear him out.
Hangman says The Bucks, Dynasty, and everything since, Hangman has had nothing to do with that. And he knows if the tables were turned, Hangman wouldn’t believe this either. Swerve knows all that. What’s his point? Hangman says what Swerve did to Hangman and his family… Hangman’s son still wakes up at night screaming, thinking he saw Swerve! And Hangman hates Swerve for that! He always will! The AEW World Tag Team Championships will be on the line in a Triple Threat, and as it stands, both challenger teams have the advantage after The Patriarchy and #JetSpeed beat down Bobby Lashley & Shelton Benjamin. However, they still have some beef of their own, as do their teammates. Will the Father Figure & his Prodigy son make it work with the Top Guys? Or will the Jet Runners be too fast and too fly to catch?
The teams sort out and Nick Wayne starts against Mike Bailey. They circle, the fans rally behind Speedball, and they tie up. Bailey powers Nick to a corner, lets off as the ref counts, but Nick turns things around! The ref reprimands and counts, and Nick lets off. Bailey dodges but then Nick narrowly avoids the roundhouse! Athena drags Willow up and puts her in for Megan. Megan RAMS Willow in the corner again and again, then CHOPS! Megan snapmares Willow, has the legs, but Willow BOOTS her away! Willow scrambles, tag to Rosa! Rosa runs up but Megan LARIATS her down! Megan bumps Rosa off buckles, tags Thekla, and Thekla snapmares Rosa for a basement SUEPRKICK! Thekla clamps on with a CROSSFACE! Rosa rolls it to a cover, TWO! Rosa CLUBS Thekla down! Rosa tags Willow, Willow bumps Thekla off buckles, then Willow runs in, only for Thekla to dodge! Athena is furious over the count, but Thekla puts Willow on ropes. Tag to Athena and she stomps away on Willow! Athena stomps and stomps, then digs her boot in. Thekla SPEARS Rosa! Thekla tags Julia and they coordinate. Willow is put in the drop zone for the HARTSAULT! Cover, Mina breaks it! The fans fire up and Mina rallies for Willow. Mina dragon sleepers Julia but Thekla CLUBS Mina! Thekla & Julia double whip Mina, but she DOUBLE LARIATS them! The fans fire up and Mina coordinates with Willow. Kris admits, Willow is a great competitor. But then Billie, Skye & Penelope attack! The back-up squad makes sure Rosa’s team isn’t getting to celebrate the win! Skye & Julia mug Willow, Athena and Rosa brawl out of the ring, but TAYJAY appears! They’ve been part of these All-Star matches, so they want their pound of flesh! The brawl is on between TayJay and Skye-Hart, but then Megan & Penelope get in there! Refs rush out here, but the fans want to “LET THEM FIGHT!” And then Kris steps into the ring to stare down Megan! But then Penelope jumps on Kris! Megan is amused, but TayMay jumps on her!
It is utter chaos as Collision closes out! Will it be Kris, Megan, or another that takes the Women’s Casino Gauntlet for their own? Will Athena keep her ROH Women’s World Championship? Or will Thunder bring an end to the forever reign?
My Thoughts:
A great Collision as another great go-home to All In. Great opening Six Man of Paragon VS Fletcher & Roppongi Vice, and Paragon winning indicates that Fletcher could be taking the TNT Championship. Good promo from Big Boom AJ and sons that then led to the Conglomeration VS Don Callis Family. I almost thought this would be Orange Cassidy’s return moment, but I appreciate O’Reilly wanting in on that. I feel like this has to be a win for Big Boom AJ and The Conglomeration, especially with Hologram on the team and his win streak still climbing. When is Hologram gonna get a title?
Very good promo from Scorpio Sky & Christopher Daniels to hype up their new faction, and they’ll certainly make moves on the belts as soon as next week. Great match from Mistico VS Mortos, great win for Mistico, and then a good promo from MJF. Mark Briscoe again proves he is highly underrated as a promo guy, him switching tone to be so scary serious was great stuff. I feel like Briscoe is going to go so hard after MJF that while he keeps MJF from winning, someone else wins.
Hangman talking with Swerve was awesome stuff. Not even so much that they had energy in the promo, but that this happened at all. This is a great sign that maybe, just maybe, Swerve helps Hangman when The Death Riders work to stack the deck. A lot will have to interplay with how they handle Bucks VS Swerve & Ospreay, EVP Titles VS Title Opportunities, but I feel like Swerve should want to screw Moxley over more than he wants to ruin things for Hangman. And as I said, it’s more intriguing and entertaining if The Bucks have to deal with being “regular people” again.
Great 8 Man Tag of JetRunners VS FTRIARCHY, and a great win for the Faces. However, that makes me think JetSpeed is taking the loss in the AEW World Tag Team Championship Triple Threat. It would be clever if Christian lets Knight & Bailey handle Lashley & Shelton, much like what we saw last night in that beatdown, and then Patriarchy snatches a win. Good promo from Stokely to give us Outrunners VS FTR for Zero Hour, that’ll be great stuff because Zero Hour always does great stuff. And from there, FTR can easily pivot towards the tag titles, no matter who comes out on top.
Great group promo from Death Riders, and awesome match from Gabe VS Shibata. But with the trios title set, Yuta helping cheat the win makes some sense. The Death Riders look to lose everything they’ve worked for, should Moxley lose the world title. And great main event with yet another All Star Tag, and naturally, we get a chaotic brawl to close out. Much as we saw from NXT and their Women’s Division, this was that classic battle royal go-home move. Kris and Megan are starting, makes me wonder if either is the winner because of how focused they are on each other, paralleling MJF and Mark Briscoe.
At the same time, this stuff with Kris and Death Riders, it’d work so well if Marina helped Kris win by clearing out competition so Kris can pin, say, former friend Willow. Then there’s intrigue of Kris feuding with Willow on the way to her title match.

Mone puts her belt aside with the others before she grabs a mic. “Texaaaas~! Say hello to your C E O! Now, Toni darling, I think we got off on the wrong foot, but I just want this face to face to be a civil conversation. So darling, let’s get to it. C’mon.” Mone waits but Toni Storm is on the tron. “Ah, and so we meet again here in Texas. Only two things come from Texas, and I am at least one of them.” The fans cheer that innuendo.
Toni hears the fans cheer her on, but Mone says she is sick of these games. But Mone is the master of games! Toni is hiding behind a screen, but on Saturday, there will be nowhere to hide. So why not come out here and face her face to face, “you mark?” And Mone promises not to hurt Toni too badly. Toni says, “Who said I was hiding? Hit my music!” Toin makes her entrance, Luther following behind. Toni goes right to the ring, Mone sees the champagne and says how nice of Toni. Let’s make a toast, shall we? Mone has a glass, then hands Toni a glass. A toast to… MONE! Your future AEW Women’s World Champion, #SevenBeltsMone!
They sip, but Mone says this is gross. It must’ve been frozen at some point. Toni says save the performative BS for your entrance, Mone. Toni thought she knew who Mone was, but clearly she was wrong. Toni warned Mone that she’s not like the others. But week after week, Mone has treated Toni like the underdog. Mone speaks in catchphrases, has the authenticity of a spray tan in a rainstorm. Mone has the emotional depth of a kiddy pool, and is also a s*it faced fraud! But in this belt, Toni found herself. But all these belts Mone wears are just masks for her to hide behind. So tell us, Mone, what the hell are you so afraid of?
The fans cheer Toni while Mone has a seat. Mone says she and Toni have walked very similar paths. But truth be told, they are nothing alike. Because Mone has and always will be better. The fans boo that, but Mone says she will always outshine Toni in success and class, and she is not afraid of any one or any thing. She is not afraid to leave it all on the table. She has been through hell and back and made the devil her b*tch. The more that the people hate her, the more Mone wins! And trust her, no one, and she means no one, is going to stop this Money Train! Not even Toni! This all here is her legacy, this is her destiny!
And Mone knows exactly who she is: The One Woman Revolution! The Alpha & Omega, and everything in between! The fans boo more but Toni says, “Legacies don’t exist, Mercedes! One day, we will all turn to dust and be forgotten. We’re all gonna die, Mercedes! Don’t you get it? All that matters is one moment. The moment where you step into this ring, look me in the eye, and you realize… that you fear an ordinary life, but I only fear an ordinary death! Now, I sincerely believe that you deserve all the titles in the world. But not this one!” The fans cheer that! Toni tells Mone that she will go down as the woman that just couldn’t win the big one!
Mone seethes behind her smile, and she says she wanted this to be civil, but she was wrong. This Saturday, may the best woman win! The two raise their glasses, they toast, and they drink. Toni says, “Eat s*it, b*tch!” Mone takes a swing on Toni but Toni slips around to Gory Especial! Mone slips free and runs away! The CEO won’t let Toni steal her signature move, but will Mone fail to steal the spotlight? Or will she make sure AEW is only “timeless” for a few more days?
Jon Moxley speaks.
“I know what you’re thinking, Hangman. With this Texas Death, you’re thinking we’ve been here before and things went your way. But that was one battle. And that was a long time ago. I’ve been beaten before. Been outmaneuvered, outsmarted, outmuscled, but I have never, ever in my life lost a war of attrition. And that’s exactly what this is. Will you hold the line under the pressure of everybody who’s counting on you?
“I think you’re a victim. I think you’re a waste. I think you’re absolutely pathetic. You have one chance to prove me wrong, so on July 12th, you better walk that aisle like it’s the last time you ever will. Because make no mistake about it, in Texas Death… You are all in, this time. Whether you like it or not, you are all the way in.” The Maniac has issued his ultimatum, but there will also be tonight’s All Star 8 Man in the main event! Will either man survive Garland to then fight in Global Life Field?
The Young Bucks arrive.
The Founding Fathers edition limousine pulls into the parking lot, and Nicholas & Matthew exit the back. They salute themselves, then enter the building. Will they be ready for the main event ahead of their own All In match? Or do they expect Moxley and Claudio to do the heavy lifting?

A truly busy week for these men here in Texas. Friday night is Supercard of Honor, and that will see The Most Wanted defend his ROH World Championship against The Alpha! Then for All In, the Casino Gauntlet might last long enough to see Bandido, Konosuke and the King of Death enter into the fray while the Aussie Arrow will be aiming for Adam Cole’s TNT Championship. Which side will look their sharpest after tonight?
The teams sort out and Brody starts against Konosuke. The fans rally while they circle. They tie up, then break. Brody fires a forearm, Konosuke hits back, and repeat. Brody gets the edge, ROCKS Konosuke, then runs, but Konosuke BOOTS him! Brody stays up so Konosuke runs, and they RAM shoulders! And RAM shoulders! And again! The fans chant “MEAT!” with every collision! Brody runs, but Konosuke ROCKS him! Then Konosuke CLAWS the eyes! The fans boo, the ref reprimands, but Konosuke tags Kyle. Kyle CLUBS Brody again and again, builds speed, but Brody CLOBBERS him! The fans fire up with Brody!
Kyle goes to a corner, Brody CHOPS him! The fans fire up for that, and Brody storms up again. Brody brings Kyle around, CHOPS him into the corner, then tags Bandido. They double whip Kyle to ropes, then Brody scoops to SLAM! Bandido runs and builds speed to basement DROPKICK! Brody adds a SENTON! The fans fire up and Bandido brings Kyle around. Kyle fires a forearm first! Bandido fires back! Kyle fires again! Bandido fires back! Kyle kicks low, throws more shots, then whips. Bandido rolls off Kyle’s back, then ducks a lariat to SHOTGUN BOOT! The fans fire up as Bandido aims his finger gun at Konosuke!
The fans cheer as Konosuke tags in! The fans fire up as these two square up, and then the forearms fly! Bandido KNEES low, headlocks, but Konosuke powers up and out. Konosuke RUNS Bandido over, but Bandido kips up! Bandido SOBATS, front kicks, but Konosuke blocks the superkick! Konosuke FLIPS Bandido but he lands on his feet! Bandido then arm-drags Konosuke, runs up, and slips through Konosuke’s scoop! Bandido DROPKICKS Konosuke down, but Konosuke rolls right to his feet! LARIAT! Brody runs up but Konosuke DUMPS him out! Kyle builds speed to DIVE! Direct hit into Brody and he hits the desk!
Konosuke stands Bandido up but Bandido whips. Konosuke reverses but Bandido ducks ‘n’ DIVES onto Kyle! The fans fire up again but now Konosuke FLIES! Down goes Bandido! #Protoshita regroups, but Brody DIVES onto them!! The fans are thunderous and barking for Brody as he puts Konosuke in. Brody helps Bandido into the ring, they both go to Konosuke, and Brody whips Bandido so he can FLAPJACK him, only for Konosuke to get his knees up! Konosuke foils Brody’s plan, and then Kyle SUPERKICKS Brody! Kyle calls to Konosuke, they get Bandido up, DOUBLE GOURD BUSTER! Then they DOUBLE BOOT Brody!
Konosuke & Kyle go back to Bandido, DOUBLE BASEMENT DROPKICKS! #Protoshita flexes while Dynamite goes picture in picture.
Konosuke stalks Bandido to the ropes, Kyle taunts the fans, and Konosuke snapmares Bandido into a chinlock. Konosuke grinds Bandido down into the mat but Bandido endures. Bandido fights up, but Konosuke has a COBRA CLUTCH! Bandido reaches out for the ropes, but Kyle pulls them back! The ref reprimands, Bandido has the ROPEBREAK, but Konosuke CLAWS at his eyes through the mask! The ref reprimands, Konosuke stops, but Kyle gets cheap shots in! Kyle gets away with all that, then tags Konosuke in. Kyle taunts Brody, then looms over Bandido. Kyle drags Bandido up by a wristlock to then scoop and SLAM!
Kyle paces some more, soaking up cheers and jeers, and he taunts the Bandido fans. But Bandido rises to CHOP! Kyle scoops to SLAM! Kyle then clamps on a chinlock to grind Bandido down. Bandido endures, fights up, but Kyle wrangles him. Bandido reaches out with a foot but Konosuke pulls the ropes back! The ref reprimands, Bandido makes the ROPEBREAK again! Kyle lets go at 4 and argues with the ref. Kyle drags Bandido up b y his hair, scoops and SLAMS again! Then back to the chinlock! Bandido still endures as Dynamite returns to single picture. The fans rally, Bandido fights to his feet, and he fires body shots!
Kyle KNEES low again and again, then whips Bandido to the corner. Bandido DROPKICKS Konosuke! Then BOOTS Kyle! Bandido hurries for Brody but Kyle grabs a hand! Kyle keeps Bandido back, kicks low, but Bandido dodges to run and tilt-o-whirl, SATELLITE DDT!! The fans are thunderous again, hot tag to Brody! Brody LARIATS Kyle, CHOPS him down, but then Kyle kicks low! Kyle runs, ducks a lariat, but runs into the BIG BOSS MAN SLAM! Brody has the fans fired up again and he watches Kyle go to a corner. Brody runs in and SPLASHES! Kyle sits down, the fans bark with Brody, and Brody hits a CANNONBALL!
Brody drags Kyle, high stacks, TWO! Kyle survives and Brody is frustrated, but Brody drags Kyle back up. Brody reels Kyle in, Canadian Rack, but Kyle slips free! SUPERKICK! Brody stays up to ROLLING ELBOW! Brody runs, but Kyle scoops?! And MICHINOKU DRIVER! Both men are down and the fans fire up again! Kyle and Brody crawl, hot tags to Konosuke and Bandido! The fans fire up as Konosuke pops Bandido up, but Bandido SPIKE-RANAS! Cover, TWO!! Konosuke survives that sudden turnaround, but Bandido hoists Konosuke up again! Bandido has the torture rack but Konosuke fights free!

How close were we? Just that little bit right there where we had FTR. We stood toe-to-toe with one of the best tag teams in the world, if not the best, Truth Magnum. Renee Paquette is with Dax Harwood, Cash Wheeler & Stokely Hathaway, along with Christian Cage, Nick Wayne, “Mother Shayna” & Kip Sabian. Renee brings up the incredible match FTR had with The Outrunners, as well as the coming Triple Threat for the AEW World Tag Team Championships. But before that is Collision and the 8 Man Tag. How is this going to go? Christian says he’ll tell us how it’s gonna go. He could stand here and run FTR’s laundry list of accomplishments, but we don’t have that much time. We know FTR will bring their best, and The Patriarchy always brings their best, so Christian expects nothing but success.
And honestly, Christian likes where FTR’s heads have been lately. He is very impressed. And going into Collision and then All In, if FTR scratches their backs, they scratch FTR’s after The Patriarchy becomes the NEW AEW World Tag Team Champions. #BigStoke says first of all, there have been a lot of miscarriages of justice in AEW, but the biggest one might be that FTR is NOT included in that tag title match. But hey, it’s not like they’re TEN-TIME tag team champions or anything. It’s not like they are THE winningest team in AEW history. It’s not like they had another instant classic last week on Collision.
But hey, that isn’t Christian’s fault. So FTR will be at All In to watch that match. And this back-scratching deal? Well, let’s see how tomorrow night goes. Deal? Ricochet’s dropkick crash lands and Blake jumps on him for more fists! The ref reprimands, Blake lets Ricochet go and Ricochet bails out of the ring. Blake pursues, they slip back into the ring, but Ricochet CLOBBERS Blake! And CLOBBERS him again! Ricochet runs to AX HANDLE Blake down!
The fans taunt Ricochet with “BALD! BALD! BALD!” Ricochet frowns and he talks trash on Blake. Ricochet stands Blake up but Blake CHOPS, ROCKS, and CHOPS again! Blake then uses the Gates as steps back into the ring! Ricochet runs up, Blake ROCKS him, but Ricochet distracts the ref so Liona can SWEEP Blake’s legs! Kaun LARIATS Blake! Ricochet DIVES and takes Blake down! The fans boo but Ricochet puts Blake in the ring. Ricochet aims from the corner, SPIRIT GUN! Renee Paquette is with MJF, MVP, Bobby Lashley & Shelton Benjamin, and she says in moments, we finally get the one-on-one Talky Talk with Mark Briscoe. MJF stops her there and says no, this isn’t going to be one-on-one just because Briscoe wants it. Briscoe has to see he’s about to get hurt by the syndicate. The Casino Gauntlet match will be as fast as a snap of the fingers. And MJF will then be one step closer to what he needs, and that is HIS All Elite Wrestling World Championship. Renee wants to talk the gauntlet but MVP interrupts to say the tag champs have a photoshoot set. MJF says of course, go right ahead.
MVP leads Lashley & Shelton to the back and MJF says Renee can rattle off more stupid questions if she wants. Renee starts again but then the Hurt Syndicate makes a ruckus. The tag titles are missing! And on the whiteboard, it reads, “Hey Shelton, since I already pinned you on Collision, figured we would take the belts early! Happy Birthday! JetSpeed.” Knight & Bailey stole the titles from the Hurt Syndicate! They’re all furious, and MVP quotes Westside Gun: Somebody ’bout to die! MVP tells MJF that they’ll handle JetSpeed, MJF can handle Briscoe. They head out and MJF is nervous now. Renee steps in and lets us know that the Talky Talk is up next!
AEW takes one more look at Okada VS Omega, Winner Takes All.
The Cleaner says, “Somehow I knew that this day would come. The shadow that I’ve been chasing… And I was happy to leave it at that. I was happy to close the book. Because on that day, I proved I was the best. And then of course, you had to come to AEW. The Kenny Omega I am today is a different man, because the Kazuchika Okada of today is a different man.” The Rainmaker says, “When I hurt you, I felt good. When I saw your blood, I felt great!” Omega said Okada had to use someone from his past to make it personal. Congratulations. That’s what he did. But he’ll get a different Omega then he’s faced before.
Callis vows to make Omega a footnote in wrestling history, and he’ll be the author behind it. Omega says he’ll do whatever it takes to win. Okada says he’ll gladly hurt Omega, but he might even kill him! Omega says this is all he has left in this business. International Champion, Continental Champion, Unified Champion, one man leaves it all in the ring while the other gains it all! Who will stand tall in the end?

Garland, Texas cheers as the Sussex County Chicken goes to the ring, and he high-fives the front row. He even holds up a fan’s sign that says MJF has a tiny kosher pickle! But speaking of, here comes Maxwell Jacob Friedman. The fans chant “Tiny Pickle!” at MJF while he grabs a mic. Briscoe says that is exactly right! But please, simmer down, because it is time to have a Talky Talk. The fans chant “Talky Talk! Talky Talk!” and MJF says first of all, that phrase is the dumbest ish he has ever heard in his entire life. And secondly, he knows like these fans here, Briscoe is a stupid white trash, redneck hick, so MJF will speak in a way all of them can understand.
“Well howdy, y’all! Aw shucks, Mark Briscoe, I sure as heck hope you don’t mosey on down your way to All In: Texas, cuz if you do, I’ma dog walk ya! Do you reckon y’all understand that or what?” The fans boo and tell MJF to STFU instead. MJF says he doesn’t know what Briscoe is thinking stepping into the ring with him. That is like throwing rocks at a man with a machine gun. So unfortunately for all of you, there will be no Talky Talk. So, you hillbilly, take a walkie walk to your meth lab in Dumpster Fire, Delaware, so you can keep feeding all 95 of your inbred children nothing but shoe leather and chicken feed, you poor!
The fans boo but MJF soaks it up. Briscoe says, “Now listen here, Pickle. It sounds like to me what you need is a good ol’ country ass whooping.” The fans chant, “Whoop His Ass! Whoop His Ass!” Briscoe says it’s coming. Believe you him, it is coming. Saturday will be here before you know it, and at All In, Globe Life Field, the Casino Gauntlet, Briscoe’s the number one man, MJF is the number two, and the bell’s gonna go ding-ding-ding, and Briscoe will commence to whoop MJF the likes of which he has never experienced before! The fans cheer that! But Saturday is Ass Whooping Day. Tonight is Talky Talk Day!
Briscoe sees MJF come out here, try to berate him, but it does not work because Briscoe is proud to be a country boy, is proud to be a redneck, and is proud to have worked hard for dollar he has put in his pocket! The fans cheer that, too! Briscoe says MJF is there with his big money suit, his dumb scarf that probably costs more than Briscoe’s whole wardrobe, and that makes him the “rich guy.” Well, MJF, Briscoe has riches, too. He has his family, his friends, the good Lord above has blessed him beyond measure! And that is something Briscoe just doesn’t think MJF understands. MJF calls himself rich, but y’know what you are? Bankrupt!
Matter of fact, the word of the day today is bankrupt. MJF is morally bankrupt, and he has no soul! And that being said, Briscoe sees right through MJF. He is so predictable. Briscoe knows what MJF will do next. MJF is about to talk some dumb crap about Briscoe’s brother, Jay, try to rile Briscoe up, but he’s prepared for it all week so go ahead, have at it. MJF says hold on, hold on, hold on. MJF would never say anything about Jay Briscoe. Jay Briscoe will go down as one of the greatest professional wrestlers of all time! The fans do cheer that. MJF says Jay Briscoe will go down more over as one of the greatest human beings to step foot in a pro-wrestling ring.
MJF says there is a special place up in Heaven for THE Jay Briscoe! The fans again cheer, and even chant “JAY! JAY! JAY!” But then MJF says, “However… I do pity your brother. And not cuz he passed away. I mean, that’s obvious. No, see, I pity your brother because while he’s up there in those pearly gates, he has to look down and see what you’ve become.” The fans boo but MJF says Jay must be rolling in his damn grave, because he has had to watch his baby brother go from being one half of the greatest tag teams of all time, #DemBoys, to nothing more than a joke. The fans boo but MJF says in fact, he’s no betting man, mostly because he has more money than everyone here in this arena…
But if MJF was a betting man, he’d be willing to bet, that if by the grace of God, if Jay was somehow still here tonight, MJF knows exactly what Jay would say to Mark. He’d tell Chicken, “It shouldn’t have been me in that accident… It should’ve been you!” MARK TACKLES MJF! The fans fire up as Briscoe rains down fists, but MJF CLAWS Mark’s eyes! The fans boo but Mark turns things around again! Mark drags MJF up, reels him in, underhook, but here comes the Hurt Syndicate! They still don’t have the belts, but they’ll look to cook Chicken instead. But wait! JETSPEED rushes in! They CLOBBER MVP, then throw hands on Lashley & Shelton!
The fans fire up as Knight & Bailey take the fight to the champs, and then Briscoe DECKS MJF! MJF runs for it! Briscoe pursues, they go into the dark of the night! Will they run all the way to Globe Life Field at this rate? JetSpeed keeps going after MVP, Lashley & Shelton, and Bailey KICKS Shelton! Shelton ROCKS Bailey, but Knight CLOBBERS Shelton with one of the title belts! Then they RAM Shelton into steel steps! Bailey lines up a shot, runs in, DROPKICK into the steps! They pick the bones by standing Lashley up to RAM him into barriers! They even THROW MVP into railing! Kip & Nick RAM Lashley into more railing! Christian has a chair to JAM MVP up, then he lets Kip put the chair under Lashley’s leg! Christian has another chair, CON-CHAIR-TO to the leg!! Nick gets to CON-CHAIR-TO Lashley’s leg, too! But wait! GABE KIDD CLOBBERS JOE!! The IWGP Global Heavyweight Champion, the Mad Man, and the mercenary for The Elite’s dirty work is back again! Gabe then rains down fists on Joe, but here come The Opps! Hobbs & Shibata run Gabe & Yuta off! The dogs run off, but Claudio & Moxley will be here shortly. Will the #DeathBucks finally beat down their enemies once and for all? Or can the Cowboy, Assassin, Wrestler & Powerhouse put the hurt on the tyrants of AEW?
8 Man Tag: Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli & The Young Bucks VS Hangman Page, Will Ospreay, Katsuyori Shibata & “Powerhouse” Will Hobbs!
Dynamite returns as Ospreay makes his entrance, followed by Hangman’s. Following that are The Founding Fathers, Matthew & Nicholas, who the fans boo. Then the Death Riders enter from the crowd, also getting their fair share of boos. The teams sort out and Hangman starts against Matt. The bell rings and Hangman LARIATS Matt inside-out! Hangman then swings on Moxley, on Nick, and on Claudio! They all back off, Matt storms up, but Hangman fires haymakers! Hangman whips, BOOTS Matt, and the fans fire up for #CowboyS*it! Hangman warns Mox, but Mox just smirks while Nick HOTSHOTS Hangman!
Matt CLUBS away on Hangman, tags Nick, and The Bucks both stomp Hangman. The ref reprimands, the fans boo, but The Bucks double whip. They DOUBLE ELBOW Hangman down, then they hit their signature pose. But Hangman tags in Ospreay! Ospreay springboards to DOUBLE CROSSBODY! The fans fire up and Ospreay CHOPS away on Matt. Ospreay whips, Matt reverses, but Ospreay DOUBLE NEURALIZES The Bucks! Tag to Shibata, and he tags Hobbs. Ospreay sends Nick to the corner, adds an ELBOW, then Shibata runs to HYDRAULIC DROPKICK! Shibata then HALF HATCH SUPLEXES Nick, and Hobbs is there!
Hobbs ripcords Nick for the POWERSLAM! Hobbs tags Ospreay, then sets up for him, STANDING SKY TWISTER! Cover, but Matt & the Death Riders break it! So Hangman & The Opps go after them! The fans cheer as the brawl is on! Things spill outside, Shibata on Claudio! Ospreay throws Matt out, then PLANCHAS to take everyone out! The fans fire up, but then Nick PENALTY KICKS Ospreay from the apron! Hangman BOOTS Nick down! Hangman goes up the corner while everyone regroups! ARIHARA MOONSAULT! Down go the Death Bucks and the fans are thunderous! Hangman stares Marina down while Dynamite goes picture in picture.
Hangman & The Opps return to their corner while Ospreay drags Nick into the ring. Nick JAWBREAKERS in return! Then he DROPKICKS Ospreay! Tag to Claudio and the Swiss Cyborg drags Ospreay up. Ospreay SOBATS! Ospreay CLUBS Claudio, runs, but Claudio pops him up for an UPPERCUT! Claudio hurries to TOSS Ospreay out, then he goes out to stomp away! Nick distracts the ref so that Claudio and Matt can mug Ospreay! Hangman & The Opps protest but the Death Bucks get away with all of that. Wait, Marina & Moxley have confiscated the timekeeper’s table?! They bring that over while Claudio puts Ospreay on the apron.
Moxley drags Ospreay up just to ROCK him with a right! Moxley tags in, stands Ospreay up, and DECKS him! Ospreay tumbles out of the ring but Moxley is right after him. Moxley SMACKS Ospreay off the announce desk, then scoops him. Ospreay slips free and he sends Moxley into the steel steps! Claudio sends Ospreay into the steps right after! The Bucks soak up the heat, then Nick tags in. Nick aims and PLANCHAS down onto Ospreay! Nick puts Ospreay back in, covers, TWO! Ospreay stays in this but Nick stays on him. Nick RAMS Ospreay into the corner, tags Claudio, and Claudio stands Ospreay up, only for Ospreay to fire hands!
Ospreay and Claudio brawl, but then Claudio lifts Ospreay up for a BEARHUG! Ospreay endures the squeeze while Dynamite returns to single picture. The fans rally, Ospreay reaches out, but he’s too far from the ropes. Ospreay BELL CLAPS Claudio to get free! Claudio keeps Ospreay from the corner, KNEES low, then whips him into the corner. Claudio BLASTS Hobbs, sucker punches Shibata, then runs in at Ospreay. Ospreay dodges and Claudio POSTS himself! Moxley tags in and keeps Ospreay from his corner! Moxley suplex but Ospreay fights that, to snap suplex in return! The fans fire up, hot tag to Hangman!
Moxley runs away, so Hangman rallies on The Bucks and Claudio instead! Hangman BOOTS Matt, triangle jump LARIATS Claudio, then dodges Matt to scoop and FALL AWAY SLAM! Hangman kips up and the fans fire up! Hangman hurries to PLANCHA onto Claudio! He blocks Nick’s kick to THROW him for a loop! Nick stumbles in, Hangman aims, but Claudio anchors Hangman’s feet! Hangman kicks free and ASAI MOONSAULTS Claudio! Hangman hurries in, he blocks Nick’s superkick, and he SWINGS it into Matt! ROLLING ELBOW for Nick! Matt runs up, Hangman POP-UP POWERBOMBS! Cover, Nick breaks it!
Hangman TOSSES Nick out, Alabama Lifts Matt, but Matt tags Claudio! Matt slips free to send Hangman into Claudio’s arms! But Hangman BOOTS Claudio away! Tag to Hobbs! The fans fire up and chant “MEAT! MEAT! MEAT!” as these two step up. Claudio fires a forearm, Hobbs fires back, and the fans chant “MEAT!” with every shot! Claudio KNEES low, short arm LARIATS, but Hobbs doesn’t budge!? Hobbs KNEES low, then swings, but Claudio dodges, only for Hobbs to CLOBBER him! The fans fire up as Claudio goes to a corner! The fans then join in as Hobbs shouts, “MEAT!” Hobbs runs in at Claudio, LARIAT!
Hobbs LARIATS again and again, “MEAT! MEAT! MEAT!” Hobbs gives seven servings, then the short arm LARIAT! The fans fire up as the straps come down! But Moxley runs up to BOOT Hobbs! Hobbs rebounds to LARIAT Moxley! Tag to Shibata and he runs up, BOOT for Claudio! Shibata JABS and CHOPS on Claudio while the fans fire up! Shibata brings Claudio up, reels him in, but Claudio suplexes! Shibata slips free, SLEEPER!! Shibata sits Claudio down, KICKS him in the back, then runs to PENALTY KICK him in the front! But Claudio catches the kick!? And then Nick SUPERKICKS Shibata!
Hangman is up, he blocks a kick to spin Nick and Alabama Lift! But Matt SUPERKICKS Hangman! Nick sunset flips, rolls through, The Bucks DOUBLE SUPERKICK! But Ospreay is in, BOOT for Matt, HEEL KICK for Nick, then he whips Nick to ropes. Nick reverses, Ospreay handsprings, but The Bucks pass him up and over to DOUBLE SUPERKICK!! Then SUPERKICK for Hobbs! Hobbs stays up, SUPERKICK again! Hobbs eggs The Bucks on, but then DOUBLE SUPERKICKS send Hobbs into the arms of The Death Riders! Matt distracts the ref so that they miss the DOUBLE POWERBOMB through the table!!
The Bucks have Shibata, E V P TRIGGER!! Then a DIVE onto Ospreay! PLANCHA onto Hangman! NEUTRALIZER by Claudio, BULLY CHOKE by Moxley!! Shibata is OUT, The Death Bucks win!!

Moxley won’t let go of Shibata, but Hangman is back! Hangman fires hands on Moxley, but Claudio gets after him! The Bucks rush back in, and then Yuta & Gabe return from wherever they were hiding! The fans boo as the full Death Riders and friends, if that’s what we can call them, mug Hangman together! Marina finds a steel chain and hands it to Moxley! Moxley uses it to CHOKE Hangman! Ospreay is back up but he gets mugged, too! Ospreay and Hangman are stomped over and over, then Moxley has Marina bring out plastic bags! They’re gonna do Ospreay and Hangman like they did Bryan Danielson!!
The fans boo as The Bucks have the honors of opening the bags, but wait! SWERVE STRICKLAND is back?! And he’s driving some heavy machinery? Swerve says, “I once told a man that he would have to choose between hate and success. Between peace and vengeance. Then I was reminded… They’re one in the same. See Matt, Nick, everything that we’ve been through this past year has been about control. It’s always been about control. And right now, I’m about to take it back. Well, some of it. I’ma leave the rest of it for me and Will Ospreay this Saturday at All In. So pay attention, gentlemen. Because this is how vengeance breeds.”
Swerve drives his excavator right up to the Founding Fathers mobile! And SMASHES IT!! Which was more expensive? The limousine itself or all the detailing? The Bucks freak out as Swerve SMASHES the back end, too! The Bucks rush out of the arena but there’s no saving the car now! And then Joe rushes in, tipping the scales back into The Opps’ favor! The brawl is back on, URENAGE for Moxley! LARIAT for Claudio! Ospreay CLOBBERS Gabe, Joe TOSSES Claudio, and then Ospreay goes up! ARIHARA MOONSAULT onto everybody! Swerve keeps going with the limo, and he TIPS IT OVER! “Whose House?” “SWERVE’S HOUSE!”
The fans fire up as Swerve has done his part. Hangman runs up on Moxley, DISCUS LARIAT! Hangman goes to the apron, then BUCK- UPPERCUT from Claudio! But Hangman still LARIATS Claudio in return! Hangman and Moxley stare down, and now Hangman has the steel chain! Hangman wraps it around his fist but Marina gets Moxley outta there! The Problem knows that this won’t end well for Moxley. The Death Riders take a tactical retreat, but will nothing stop Hangman from ending the reign of terror once and for all? As for The Bucks, they’re two minutes too late to save their car! “How’re we gonna financially recover from this?!”
The Bucks are furious with Swerve, and then Prince Nana has to rub it in. Oh wait, Swerve hits a KILL STOMP from outta nowhere! “I found the fathers! HAHA!” Will Swerve & Ospreay add insult to injury by stripping The Bucks of their Executive Vice President status? Or will The Bucks make Swerve & Ospreay pay by taking away their title opportunities for an entire year? Who will be ready to go All In?
My Thoughts:
An awesome Dynamite for the go-home, really good builds in every segment. Toni and Mone opening was great, and Toni had the best lines. They almost brawled, but with Mone running away, I feel like that means Toni stood tall. And that would mean Mone wins the AEW Women’s World Championship to truly reach an Ultimo Dragon level of belts on her. If that’s what we get, that’s pretty wild. At the same time, the Women’s Casino Gauntlet winner could then be set up to beat Mone. Kris Statlander still stands as a great choice, and then we got a great Fatal 4 Way (though a little clunky to start). Great win for Megan, and I really liked Aminata and Thekla brawling backstage.
Great tying of builds together through the Hurt Syndicate. JetSpeed pulling off belt theft was a clever way to keep Hurt Syndicate from helping MJF with Briscoe to start. Great stuff with the “Talky Talk,” Briscoe continues to be underrated as a promo guy. And when MJF said he wasn’t gonna insult Jay, I could just feel he’d flip it to insult Mark with such morbid ideas. Great brawl that then brought out Hurt Syndicate but also their contenders. With JetSpeed and Patriarchy both beating the Hurt Syndicate down that badly, that certainly indicates the Syndicate finds a way to win. Very good promo from The Outrunners, and very good response promo from FTR and Patriarchy. That 8 Man Tag will also be part of the math, but I feel like the losers in the 8 Man Tag will then take the pin in the Triple Threat.
Great match from Ricochet VS Blake, but of course The Gates of Agony helped out. Makes Ricochet a little weak needing help against Blake, but Blake therefore looks strong, and the fans sure had his back. Maybe Blake Christian and Lee Johnson work with AR Fox for a Six Man Tag with Ricochet & Gates, but even that feels like Ricochet & Gates win. Great tag match of Bandido & Brody VS Protoshita, and great win for Protoshita. However, that would make me think Konosuke does NOT win the ROH World Championship at Supercard. As I said last week, that’s a tough one, because Konosuke does deserve something, but he is a bit above ROH already, so I suppose it’s fine.
Very good video promo from Okada VS Omega, though it doesn’t add to the go-home math. And Tony Khan posted on social media that the Unified Championship doesn’t even get rid of the International or Continental, the winner will hold all three belts at once, so… it’s literally just the Okada VS Omega title! But whatever, the match will be awesome, the winner will have earned it, and there will be countless possibilities for after. Maybe the Unified Champion does double headers of defending the International and the Continental titles, or maybe a series of Winner Takes All matches. Either way, I feel like they should just pull the trigger on Okada VS Takeshita.
And naturally, great stuff with the top stories. Samoa Joe VS Wheeler Yuta was great, and I figured Joe would win. But Gabe Kidd attacking makes me think they’re gonna do the boring thing and have Gabe step in as the third man for the trios title match. I would rather they have Hook pull a Bash at the Beach Hogan nWo move. Plus, Gabe should focus on NJPW, the G1 Climax is coming so when would he be stateside to be part of the Death Rider story past All In? Either way, great stuff in the 8 Man Tag main event, and there’s a lot of math to unpack here. Death Bucks win the match, but then Swerve wrecks The Bucks and their limo. Meanwhile, Hangman at least ran Moxley off.
I really hope that despite how it looks, all the Faces win at All In. Ospreay and Swerve can’t be kept from the world title for a year while The Bucks continue to be insufferable Heel authority figures. Honestly, I don’t think we can take another build of Moxley as world champion when Hangman has overcome his inner demons, won the Owen Hart Cup, and has all this support from both the fans and his peers. Just as WWE once gave us “everything we wanted” for WrestleMania 35 (Rollins beating Lesnar, KofiMania prevailing, and Becky winning the Triple Threat against Charlotte and Ronda), we need this All In to be the same.
