WWE Evolution: NXT Women’s Championship Match

• Kairi Sane defended the NXT Women’s Championship against former champion Shayna Baszler in the fifth match a WWE Evolution.
• This was the first of three championship matches, and was also a rematch of the 2017 Mae Young Classic Finals.
• Both Sane’s tenacity and Baszler’s brutality were on display during this match.
• Shayna Baszler regained the NXT Women’s Championship when Kairi Sane passed out in the Kirifuda Clutch, but not until she had help from Jessamyn Duke and Marina Shafir.
