The Usos are here!

The Cajundome erupts as Jimmy & Jey make their way to the ring! The Usos get the mics, fans chant “UCE! SO! UCE! SO!” and Jey says, “Ey ey! The Bloodline-” Jimmy stops him there and they both smirk. “Aight, aight, aight. The USOS are now in your city!” Jimmy is feeling good. He’s feeling real good! Yo, Jey, how you feeling? Fans chant “UCEY! UCEY!” Jey says if he’s 100 right now, they about to fight family, Uce. Family don’t do that. Family is supposed to lift each other up, get each other’s backs, and make sure from the bottom to the top, everyone’s taken care of. From day one ’til the end.

Jimmy has Jey calm down. Because to him, it sounds like Jey made the absolute perfect choice. Fans cheer that! The Usos say they love each other, and they even still love Roman Reigns. They do! For three years, they were in the trenches together, Uce. Jey did anything Roman told him to do. He tells ’em jump, they jump high. He tells ’em go low, they go low. They’ll forgive him. But where Roman messed up is when he disrespected the Usos. The Usos were raised on respect. Respect is huge. It isn’t about falling in line. When they did, they became the most dominant faction in the WWE. But that was with respect.

Once Roman started showing the Usos they weren’t worth nothing, well guess what? Yo ass is stuck on the Island of Relevancy all alone! Roman and… the biggest snake of ’em all! Real talk, this ain’t even sound like Roman. But what they can’t forgive is the ones on the outside. The ones who are outside the circle. Sounding like rats. Follow the rats, they lead to snakes. And the biggest snake is that dude, Paul Heyman! For 40 YEARS, Heyman wanted to claim the utmost respect for the family. For 40 YEARS, he loved and respected them. But how could you take orders from a man that was trying to put a wedge between two brothers?

Fans cheer that, and Jey tells Heyman, “Now we gotta get all y’all. Now, we gonna go to London, and we gonna go to war with our family. A civil war in the Bloodline. So that being said, though, you’re looking at the best tag team in the game.” Jimmy says “Talk to ’em.” This for real! Y’all looking at the best tag team in the world! Ain’t no singles competition. Solo Sikoa, Roman Reigns, on July 1st in London in the O2 at Money in the Bank, it’s LOCKDOWN! Solo Sikoa, Roman Reigns, welcome to the Uso Penitentiary!! Fans are all fired up with the Usos! Will they bring down the rest of the Bloodline faction so as to rebuild from the ashes?

Rey Mysterio VS LA Knight!

Naturally, The King of Lucha Libre didn’t take kindly to the Mega Star’s disrespect last week, or that LA Knight cheated Santos Escobar in their 1v1 match. Will Rey dial it up and humble Knight? Or will LA be rolling into the UK with momentum?

SmackDown returns and Knight makes his entrance. Fans fire up with the bell and it seems the Cajundome loves LA Knight. Knight makes sure Rey hears it, then kicks and bumps Rey off buckles! Knight RAMS into Rey, and RAMS him again! Rey flounders away but Knight CHOKES him on ropes! The ref counts, Knight lets off and whips Rey corner to corner hard! Rey bounces off buckles and fans echo Knight’s “YEAH!” Knight stomps Rey, whips him, but Rey ducks ‘n’ dodges to DROPKICK Knight away! Rey storms up but Knight YANKS him onto ropes, to CHOKE him again! The ref counts, and Knight goes to the apron.

Knight KNEES Rey into the ring, then slingshots to SHOULDER TACKLE! Cover, TWO! Rey is still in this but Knight stalks Rey to ropes. Knight whips Rey, Rey KICKS Knight! Rey runs, slides under Knight and tilt-o-whirls to RANA Knight into a corner! Fans rally as Rey climbs up on Knight to rain down fists. Fans count but Knight stops things at five. Rey grabs ropes to deny the slam, and he RANAS Knight into ropes! Rey dials it up, 619! Fans fire up as Rey climbs, but Knight bails to the apron. Rey then runs to WRECK Knight with a dropkick! Rey builds speed as fans fire up, and Rey SLIDES to SPLASH! Knight sputters and SmackDown goes to break.

SmackDown returns again and Knight whips Rey into a corner, then hits a NECKBREAKER! Cover, TWO! Rey is hanging tough but Knight drags him up. Knight reels Rey in, lifts, but Rey fights the bomb to RANA Knight into the corner! Rey then goes to the apron and climbs up the corner. Knight staggers up, into a SEATED SENTON! Rey keeps moving, ducks ‘n’ dodges to springboard CROSSBODY! Cover, TWO! Rey keeps cool and fires forearms. Knight shoves Rey, Rey comes back, but into a scoop and POWERSLAM! Knight sets up, “L! A! KNIGHT! YEAH!” MEGA ELBOW! Cover, TWO!

Knight is annoyed as Rey survives again, but Rey’s a Hall of Famer for a reason. “This is Awesome!” as Knight whips and Rey holds ropes. Rey elbows Knight then QUEBRADAS! Knight catches Rey, swings him, but Rey hits a DDT! Cover, TWO! Rey is frustrated but he rallies fans up. Knight staggers, Rey CLUBS him and kicks, then ENZIGURIS! Knight ends up on ropes! Rey redials, but Knight blocks the 619 this time! Knight drags Rey up and pops him to a fireman’s carry, but Rey slips free! Rey dodges, springboards, but the wheelbarrow is turned into a waistlock, BIG back suplex, but Rey lands on his feet! But Knight kicks low, B F T!! Cover, Knight wins!!

Winner: LA Knight, by pinfall

The Mega Star just brought down a WWE Grand Slam Champion Hall of Famer! Knight trumps king, but then he goes after Rey’s mask! Fans boo that, but here comes Santos Escobar! The LWO’s second in command runs off Knight, will Escobar avenge this during the MITB ladder match?

Solo Sikoa and Paul Heyman walk the halls.

Ridge Holland almost runs into Solo and tells him where he’s going. But then Solo hits him with a SAMOAN SPIKE!! The Enforcer tells Ridge he’s not in the mood. Heyman calls Roman Reigns, will there be consequences for this attack?

Adam Pearce and Sheamus find Ridge Holland.

Pearce has refs go get Heyman, and Sheamus tells Pearce to give him Solo! Hold on, Pearce will handle it with Heyman. Not good enough for Sheamus. Sheamus heads out, is this going to turn into Fight Night real fast?

Sheamus goes to the stage!

He knows Solo is here, “ya bleedin’ rat!” If Solo wants a fight, Sheamus will give him a fight! Get in the ring tonight and you’re in for the fight of your bleedin’ life! Will the Celtic Warrior make it so Solo can’t even go to MITB?

WWE & NXT Women’s Tag Team Championship Unification: Ronda Rousey & Shayna Baszler VS Alba Fyre & Isla Dawn!

While everyone else is fighting for the briefcases, the Baddest Women on the Planet and the Unholy Alliance are fighting to be THE team in the Women’s Division! Who walk out of here as the first-ever UNDISPUTED Women’s Tag Team Champions?

The introductions are made, the belts are raised, and only one team walks away with them all!

Raquel Rodriguez is ringside, still holding a grudge against Ronda & Shayna for what they did to her friend and tag partner, Liv Morgan. The teams sort out and Alba starts against Shayna. They tie up, but Shayna KICKS and CLUBS and SLAPS Fyre around! Fans boo but Shayna taunts Isla. But then Alba hits back! Shayna KICKS, whips, but Alba holds ropes. Alba elbows Shayna, Isla tags in, and Alba puts Shayna in the ropes for Isla to KNEE! Alba then brings Shayna around, and feeds her to the TARANTULA! SUPERKICK! Isla covers, TWO! Shayna scrambles away and Isla taunts her. Ronda has Shayna calm down, and holds out a hand.

Shayna tags Ronda, fans boo but Isla is amused. They tie up but Ronda kicks! Isla still comes back but into a SAYANAGI! And another! And another! Ronda rains down fists, talks trash, but Isla KICKS her in the face! Isla CLUBS Ronda, facelocks, but Ronda powers her back. Alba tags in, Isla feeds Ronda to a trip! Isla even drops with Ronda to taunt her. Alba spins Ronda around to ROCK her with a right! Alba gets in to cover, TWO! Alba drags Ronda up, tags Isla, and they mug Ronda. Another tag, Isla runs to BLAST Shayna and Alba GOURD BUSTERS Ronda! Isla runs in to METEORA! Cover, Shayna breaks it!

Isla ROUNDHOUSES Shayna outta the ring! Alba whips Ronda but Ronda reverses. Ronda runs in, misses in the corner and Alba KICKS the legs out! Raquel likes what she sees as Alba hoists Ronda up in an Electric Chair! But Shayna SHOVES Isla off the corner! Ronda POISON-RANAS!? Fans boo but Ronda slaps her legs into working while SmackDown goes to break.

SmackDown returns and Ronda has Alba down in a straitjacket leglock combo. Alba endures, fights out and fires off fists! Ronda kicks her away, blocks a kick, and trips Alba to an ANKLE LOCK! Fans boo but Ronda talks trash. Alba reaches out, crawls, but Ronda drags her from the ropes! Alba hops up, ENZIGURIS and down goes Ronda! Fans fire up as Alba and Ronda crawl. Hot tag to Shayna, she trips Alba and DECKS Isla! KNEE for Alba! Cover, TWO!! Alba survives and Shayna is upset. Shayna argues the count, but then runs in at the corner. Alba dodges, reaches for Isla but Shayna grabs a leg!

Shayna drags Alba back, but Alba kicks her away! Hot tag to Isla! The Wicked Witch rallies on the Queen of Spades and even DECKS Ronda for good measure! Shayna kicks Isla, runs, but into a ROUNDHOUSE! Isla drags Shayna up, for a SAIDO! Shayna goes to a corner, Isla runs in to GAMANGIRI! Isla shoves Shayna and goes up, to METEORA! Cover, TWO!! Shayna survives and frustrates Isla. Isla drags Shayna up, but Shayna gets around. They go to ropes, the ref counts and Shayna lets off, but with a CLUB to the back! Ronda runs up and BOOTS Isla into the KIRAFUDA KLUTCH!!! But Alba is up top! SWANTON BOMB breaks the hold!

Ronda runs in but Alba TOSSES her! And DIVES to take Ronda out! Fans fire up as Alba returns to her corner! Isla tags her in and Alba drags Shayna up! But Shayna fights free of the Gory Bomb! KIRAFUDA, but Alba RAMS her into buckles! Ronda returns to grab Isla for an ARMBAR!! Double submissions! Alba taps, Ronda & Shayna win!

Winners: Ronda Rousey & Shayna Baszler, by submission (NEW Undisputed WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions)

Fans boo but there’s nothing they can do as Ronda gets the mic to call out “Rrrrraquel!” Where’s Raquel going? She and Louisiana aren’t good at even one language, let alone two, but what is Raquel even doing here at all? Raquel smiles and goes to the ring. Fans cheer as Raquel gets a mic to say, “I am here, because I want a rematch for the titles that we never lost.” We? Who’s that? Shayna remembers she and Ronda tore everyone apart limb by limb. So who is “we?” LIV MORGAN IS BACK! Fans fire up as she goes right to the ring!

Liv joins Raquel as they step in, then step up to Ronda & Shayna. The undisputed champs head out, but will they be undisputed for long? Or will Rodriguez & Morgan once again be #LivingLarge?

SmackDown presents an all new Grayson Waller Effect.

The Dynamite from Down Under, the Aussie Icon, the Moment Maker is already in the ring, and the Cajundome boos. But Waller welcomes us to the hottest talk show in the WWE, and speaking of hot, he is looking for a green card. Waller is the hottest new superstar in all of the WWE, so it is fitting that tonight, his guests are the hottest tag team in the WWE! Welcome Kit Wilson & Elton Prince, Pretty Deadly! #YESBOY~! The new #1 contenders head to the ring, and the Cajundome continues to boo. Waller welcomes them, and says he “rolled out the red carpet,” as it were. Guests like them need more than just standard chairs, he has director chairs for them!

Thanks so much, Grayson. And they wanna let him know that his show is their favorite. So much better than the KO Show! So much! Fans boo but Waller says that is true. To be honest, it is nice to finally have guests with style and good manners. As we all know, Americans don’t have manners. But let’s move on to the two of them. They’ve been on SmackDown maybe two months, and yet so much success already! So much so, that next week on SmackDown from their home country of London, England, they face Sami Zayn & Kevin Owens for the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championships! That’s wild!

Kit says that’s right! THEIR home! Shoutout to the Royal Family. This is big. They’re not taking it lightly, they’re taking it pretty deadly seriously. This is two men that one the main event of WrestleMania Night 1. But what annoys Pretty Deadly is that the champs aren’t giving them the same level of respect! Elton doesn’t feel like Kevin & Sami are giving Pretty Deadly their flowers. The fans chant “SHUT UP!” and that upsets Elton, but Kit keeps him calm. They do breathing exercises, “Yes boy, yes boy, yes boy.” Elton says the champs came out and were surprised Pretty Deadly were #1 contenders!

Sorry, but what’s so surprising about a team that has won WWE gold before? A team that won titles on their debut? A team that UNIFIED tag team championships before? Elton doesn’t see what is confusing or surprising there. KO & Sami can carry on, see if their giant egos can fit together into one team. But in their case, “Mi brain,” “Su brain.” They’ve been on the same page the last three years, from joining the WWE to today, and will be for the next ten years when they’re running the tag division! Fans boo but Waller does bring up something. This is a very honest show, so he has to say something. HE’S NOT SURPRISED!

HAH! That’s their guy! Waller says they could keep going on about Kevin & Sami, but maybe they should talk last week. Last week, Pretty Deadly were the ironmen of that match! They didn’t beat one team, they didn’t beat two teams, they beat FIVE of the best teams in all of the WWE, in one match and one night. Truly inspiring. Yes, the ironmen of Friday Night SnackDown! They do need to be honest, too. That was a match where they didn’t know if they could continue. They beat five teams! It was grueling! Exhausting! There were times they didn’t think they could go on, but they did through blood, sweat and tears!

With every fiber of their beings, they won that match! The Brawling Brutes are a great team, and they lasted all the way until the end, just like Pretty Deadly. But but but Pretty Deadly beat them! Fans boo but Kit brings up the LWO. Waller says, “Viva la Raza! Whatever that means.” Kit says great shirt, great team, but… Pretty Deadly beat them! The OC, two big, tough guys, a couple of Good Brothers, but… Pretty Deadly beat them! Hit Row, and before it even begun, Pretty Deadly beat them! And of course, the SmackDown Sweet Hearts, The Street Profits- ARE HERE! Fans cheer as Montez Ford & Angelo Dawkins have mics.

Ford asks Dawkins if Pretty Deadly said their names. They did. Aren’t Pretty Deadly so cute showing off their chests? But it’s fine, the boys are back, which means Waller gonna have season two. Congrats! But since Pretty Deadly haven’t been properly introduced to the smoke, the Profits are the ones to do so. Cuz the Profits are up, and #WeWantTheSmoke! Ford & Dawkins look to prove Pretty Deadly did nothing, but will they succeed? Or will Kit & Elton be red hot going into their homecoming at MITB?

The Street Profits VS Pretty Deadly!

SmackDown returns and the teams sort out. Ford starts against Kit and Ford mocks the outfit. Kit tosses his hair, but Ford mocks that, too. They tie up, Ford headlocks and hits a takeover. Kit fights around, fights up, but Ford hits another takeover. Ford taunts Elton while grinding Kit on and off. Kit fights up, wrenches out and headlocks back. Ford powers out, RAMS shoulders, but neither man falls. Ford makes the pecs dance, then headlocks. Dawkins tags in as Kit powers out, and Dawkins runs Kit over! Kit goes to a corner, Dawkins storms up and fans fire up. Dawkins brings Kit up but Kit pulls ears! Kit ROCKS Dawkins!

Kit wrenches Dawkins, tags Elton, and they double whip. They run Dawkins over with double shoulders, then say “YES BOY!” They run, and LEG DROP SPLASH COMBO! Cover, ONE!! Dawkins upsets Elton but Elton drags Dawkins up. Elton fires forearms, whips corner to corner, but Dawkins reverses and runs in. Elton BOOTS Dawkins, goes up, and leaps, but into a RIGHT HAND! Tag to Ford, the Profits whip and DROPKICK Elton! DROPKICK for Kit! Elton staggers up, Ford bobs ‘n’ weaves and BACKHANDS! Elton wobbles, Ford mocks him and rips off the shirt! Fans fire up, Elton rushes in, but Dawkins dumps him out!

Ford puts on the top! Ford might be a size too big. He and Dawkins both FLY to take out Pretty Deadly! Fans fire up with the Profits and SmackDown goes to break.

SmackDown returns and Kit has Ford up top. Ford elbows Kit away but Kit CLUBS Ford! Kit climbs up, CLUBS away on Ford’s neck, then soaks up the heat. Kit stands Ford up, tells him he’s got nothing, and he HEADBUTTS Ford! Kit stands Ford up to SUPER BACK- CROSSBODY! Ford turns it around and both men are down! Both men crawl for their corners and the fan rally, hot tags to Dawkins and Elton! Dawkins rallies on Pretty Deadly! DROPKICK for Elton! Dawkins whips but Elton reverses. Dawkins hurdles to FLYING ELBOW! Dawkins runs corner to corner to CYCLONE SPLASH! ENZIGURI!

Dawkins underhooks, for the SILENCER! Cover, TWO! Dawkins keeps focus, brings Elton back up, and scoops him. Ford tags in but Elton fights free. Dawkins runs back in, POUNCE PLEX COMBO! Cover, Kit breaks it! But then Dawkins POUNCES Kit! Elton and Ford rise, and Ford reels Elton in! ROCK BOTTOM!! Ford flexes and fans fire up! Tag to Dawkins, he goes after Elton as Ford climbs. Dawkins Electric Chair Lifts but Kit SHOVES Ford! Elton slips off, rolls Dawkins up, feet on the ropes with Kit’s help! Pretty Deadly wins!

Winners: Pretty Deadly, by pinfall

The Dandy Highwaymen just stole another big win! They’re inflating their stats and their egos, but will Kit & Elton be popped by Kevin & Sami?

Charlotte Flair VS Lacey Evans!

The Queen is preparing for the Empress of Tomorrow, so she gets back in action in the Cajundome! But will she be overlooking the Model Soldier here tonight? Or will the Figure Eight beat the Cobra Clutch?

SmackDown returns and Lacey makes her entrance. The bell rings and fans “WOO~!” Charlotte and Lacey circle, tie up, and Charlotte headlocks. Lacey pulls hair, powers out, but Charlotte runs her over! Fans “WOO~” again and Charlotte dusts herself off. Things speed up but then Charlotte steps on Lacey. And then BOOTS her down! Charlotte eggs Lacey on, CHOPS her, and CHOPS her again! And CHOPS again! Lacey wobbles around as the CHOPS keep going! “One more?” CHOP! Charlotte brings Lacey around, scoops her, but Lacey slips free! Lacey RAMS Charlotte into a corner, then throws her by her hair!

Fans boo but Lacey soaks it up. She tells the fans to respect and salute her, but the fans keep booing. Lacey MOONSAULTS, but has to land on her feet as Charlotte moves! Lacey runs back in, but into a BACKBREAKER and BUCKLE SHOT! Charlotte slaps Lacey around, then brings her out and she asks the fans to salute her. Fans cheer and salute, and Charlotte scoops for a FALL AWAY SLAM! And then Charlotte tranquilos! Shout out to her El Idolo! Charlotte then aims, runs in, and BOOTS Lacey back down! And then she has a leg, brings Lacey around and steps through, FIGURE FOUR! Then FIGURE EIGHT! Lacey taps, Charlotte wins!

Winner: Charlotte Flair, by submission

Charlotte holds on to make Lacey pay, but Asuka slides in! SLIDING KICK!! Asuka dances around, throws her shoes at Charlotte, then rains down fists! Fans boo but Charlotte can only guard as Asuka fires off from all sides! Asuka mockingly salutes, then holds up the new WWE Women’s Championship. Asuka leaves Charlotte behind, laughing all the way. Charlotte may have beaten Asuka in the past, but will she not be ready for this Asuka?

Adam Pearce is on the phone.

Yes, he’s waiting for her to arrive right now. And here she is. Bianca Belair steps in and says he wanted to talk. Yes, he is thinking about the title match of Asuka VS Charlotte next week, and it brought him back to what she said. Yes, she said what she said about being ringside. Well, what happens if Asuka or Charlotte try to take a shot at her? What if they provoke her? Uh, those two should be focused on each other. Bianca just wants to be ringside so she makes sure no one else cuts the line. But if they come for her, she’ll defend herself. As she should. And that’s the problem.

He knows she’s not gonna like this, but there’s just too much at stake. He is barring Bianca from ringside. Trust him on this! She will have her opportunity the moment that match is done to challenge the winner face to face. Oh, like last time? She should trust him like she did then? Pearce sighs, Bianca leaves, but what can either of them do about the title match next week in London?

Solo Sikoa w/ Paul Heyman VS Sheamus!

The Enforcer lashed out on Ridge Da Fridge, and now the Celtic Warrior is coming for revenge! SmackDown is Fight Night after all, but who survives this close to the Bloodline Civil War?

SmackDown returns and Sheamus makes his entrance. The bell rings and fans rally up as the two circle. They tie up and throw hands! Fans fire up as Sheamus bumps Solo off buckles, then body shots and uppercuts! Sheamus throws more hands in another corner, and he fires the fans up. But then Solo UPPERCUTS in return! Solo fires off his own heavy hands, lets off as the ref counts, and Sheamus mule kicks! Sheamus UPPERCUTS, whips, but Solo reverses. Sheamus KNEES Solo, runs, but Solo avoids the Brogue! Solo bails out and fans boo but Sheamus paces. Sheamus goes out the side, storms up on Solo, and CLOBBERS him!

Fans fire up with Sheamus and he brings Solo around. Sheamus stomps Solo’s right hand! Sheamus puts Solo in the ring, but Solo stomps Sheamus in return. Solo drags Sheamus up, puts him in a corner and ROCKS him in the back with a forearm! And another! Solo RAMS into Sheamus’ back, and again, and again! The ref counts, Solo lets off and Heyman has an evil smile. But then Sheamus throws elbows and uppercuts! Solo and Sheamus trade haymakers, Sheamus gets the edge and whips corner to corner. Solo reverses, runs in, but Sheamus BOOTS him down! Sheamus then skins the cat to the top rope!

Fans fire up and Sheamus leaps, FLYING LARIAT! Cover, ONE!! Solo is hanging tough but Sheamus keeps cool. Sheamus stalks Solo to ropes, but Solo blocks the buckle bump to throw body shots! Solo CHOPS, ROCKS and CHOPS Sheamus again. Fans rally for Sheamus, Sheamus eggs Solo on, but Solo fires off fast hands high and low! The ref counts, Solo lets off and stalks Sheamus to another corner. Sheamus elbows Solo! And kicks low! Sheamus whips, Solo reverses, but Sheamus blocks hip toss to LARIAT! Fans fire up and Sheamus grins at Heyman. Solo goes to the apron, and Sheamus grabs him!

Sheamus has Solo stuck on the ropes but Solo resists. Solo elbows Sheamus, and again, and again! Sheamus staggers away, but comes back to KNEE Solo in the ropes! Sheamus goes out to join Solo, fireman’s carries, and then tucks Solo in, but Solo fights free! Solo POSTS Sheamus, then trips him up! Sheamus lands hard on the apron, and Solo fireman’s carries, to SAMOAN DROP to the floor! Solo seethes and Heyman smiles while SmackDown goes to break.

SmackDown returns again and both men are down in the ring. Solo rises and shakes his head. Fans rally for Sheamus, but there are chants of “SO~LO!” Solo watches Sheamus go to a corner, mocks the pounding of the chest, and he runs corner to corner, but into a LARIAT! Fans fire up again as both men are back down! Heyman is shocked, and Sheamus rises again. Fans rally up and Sheamus crawls after Solo. Solo stands, throws a haymaker, and then another. Sheamus staggers around, Solo throws another shot! And another! Sheamus throws them back! Fans fire up as Sheamus backs Solo up!

Sheamus whips, Solo reverses but Sheamus comes back with another LARIAT! And then a clothesline in the corner, a whip corner to corner, and another clothesline! Sheamus scoops Solo to POWERSLAM! Fans fire up while Sheamus grits his teeth. Sheamus hobbles up, clinches Solo, and hits an IRISH CURSE BACKBREAKER! Solo goes to the apron and the fans fire up. Sheamus glares at Solo, and gives a look to Heyman. Heyman scowls and Sheamus goes to the ropes. Fans fire up for BEATS OF THE BODHRAIN! A bit slower temp, but much harder hits! Sheamus then speeds up and goes to TEN!

Fans fire up while Heyman frowns. Sheamus aims from a corner and the fans echo “BROGUE! BROGUE! BROGUE!” as Sheamus pounds his cheat. Sheamus runs, into a SUPERKICK! But he comes back with a KNEE!! Cover, TWO!! Solo survives but Sheamus is too sore to be upset. “This is Awesome!” as Sheamus stands back up. Sheamus drags Solo up, fireman’s carries, but his back makes that difficult. He powers up to stand tall, tucks Solo in, WHITE NOISE!! Cover, TWO!! Solo survives again and Heyman breathes easy. Sheamus drags Solo up, brings him in, and fans fire up, as he Canadian Racks Solo!

Solo fights out of the hold, and SUPERKICKS Sheamus in the back! SAMOAN SPIKE!! Sheamus falls outta the ring! Solo goes out after Sheamus, drags him up, and URENAGE on the desk!! Fans boo while Sheamus flops and flounders on the floor! Solo drags Sheamus to the barriers, sits him up against them, and then goes to the far side. The ref tells him no, but Solo runs in to HIP ATTACK through the BARRIERS!! The ref hurries to check both men, and Solo stands up. Fans lose their minds, and the ref waves this off! Solo wins!!

Winner: Solo Sikoa, by referee stoppage

The Enforcer of the Island just wrecked the Celtic Warrior! Medics rush over, as does Adam Pearce. But then Solo shoves the medics aside, SAMOAN SPIKES one, and Pearce tells him to stop! Solo doesn’t listen, he drags Sheamus from the wreckage! But here come the Usos! The fans fire up as the Usos grin at Solo, and the three brothers rush in! The 2v1 brawl is on, SUPERKICK! SUPERKICK! DOUBLE SUPERKICKS! Jimmy & Jey knock down their little brother and Heyman is shocked again! But then the Usos spot Heyman and walk up to him. Heyman backs away, wanting mercy, but Solo gets back up. DOUBLE SUPERKICKS again!!

The fans fire up with Jimmy & Jey, because they’re not done! They each take a corner, for the DOUBLE UCE!! Solo suffers for the sins of the Tribal Chief, but Heyman puts in a call. Will the Head of the Table have a response on the last SmackDown before Money in the Bank?

My Thoughts:

A really good episode for SmackDown, especially since it was like an early go-home given next week’s episode will be in London as like a preshow to MITB. But speaking of all that, a disappointing note was that there were some last minute changes that removed one MITB build match to put in another. I get Charlotte needed a tune-up that would also give Asuka an opening to attack, but not planning ahead to have that already on the card seems like an oversight. And removing Bayley VS Shotzi with the MITB spot on the line seems rather lame. But of course, the WWE only gives reasons for changes if they want to.

Bianca and Pearce had a good promo to make a point of a ringside ban so Bianca won’t affect Charlotte VS Asuka. But it also feels like they could’ve put this on next week before having Charlotte VS Asuka happen. Good women’s tag title match, but of course Ronda & Shayna win. I do like that Liv is back so she and Raquel can start a feud with Ronda & Shayna for the Summer. I would think this leads to a match at SummerSlam, since they’ll only need a month to build after MITB. At the same time, I would hope Ronda & Shayna visit all brands, including NXT, to be what the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions were supposed to be when these belts were created.

Really good Grayson Waller Effect with Pretty Deadly, and I actually appreciate Pretty Deadly perpetuating the revisionist history of them toughing out the gauntlet match. Great tag match from them and Street Profits, and that win gives Pretty Deadly the momentum going into the tag title match, which I’m sure they will lose despite being in their hometown. Kevin & Sami have plenty of teams still to face, and as big as SmackDown in London will be, free TV is not where the undisputed tag titles are changing hands. As for Street Profits, who knows where they go from here. Is it time for friendly break-up so Montez Ford can be US Champion?

Another disappointing change was having no Triple Threat of Dunne VS Escobar VS Knight, but Rey VS Knight was still a great match. Of course Knight wins to build momentum, but it’s still anyone’s guess as to his chances in the ladder match. And I didn’t see Dunne anywhere at all tonight, so it seems that might’ve factored into the change. Solo going after Ridge was an interesting move, but it did set up a great main event. A referee stoppage was a clever move, and then of course the Usos go after Solo. The Usos had a great promo, too, but who knows how MITB’s Bloodline Civil War match goes. I’m still hoping the Usos get through to Solo and he breaks away from Roman, but maybe they stretch that part of the story to SummerSlam.

My Score: 8.7/10

Well now we start the fall out of Slammiversary. Josh Alexander in his bad bitch summer, X-Speedball legacy, ABC got the t-a-g and Jordynne is still in charge of the Knockouts division. Like I said at the end of Slammiversary, all of the champions being Babyfaces is stupid. They need to drop a couple titles fairly quickly, because I don’t care what some people say, Nic Nemeth ain’t gonna bring any eyes to the brand. He’s about as hot as day old Hamburger Helper over a camping sterno.

We’ll probably open with the luke warm champion, so tune in like 10 minutes late for anything of substance to be happen.

Results:

Nemeth gives the ole “I’ll be a fighting champion…blah blah” promo and drops the “any company” line that we’ve already understood what that means. Campaign Singh cuts him off…and I never thought I’d be happy for Campaign Singh to walk out and say anything…ever. And…Mustafa’s promo is worse than Dolph’s. He’s gone from parody to caricature even saying “it was the biggest screw job Montreal ever saw”. Like some of these lines are cheap heat, but most are just brain dead comments that wouldn’t get a reaction out of anyone (and the crowd was silent for that comment). Mustafa gets caught in an Archer “phrasing” moment about getting screwed hard, but this is painful. Promos written by 14 year olds everyone…

This ends with Ali challenging Nemeth for the World Title. While I’m not against walk up challenges, I watch Japanese wrestling, I don’t really get the point aside from doing it just to do it.

ABC and Matt Hardy have a small promo, and I’m still not really a fan of Unbroken Matt Version 6.0. The floating between Broken voice and his normal voice sounds amateurish.

OH LOOK, finally a match 20 minutes into the show. And it’s my son Steve Maclin! OH CHRIST he’s facing Deaner. This has been 25 minutes of talking followed by the worst god damn attempt at a gimmick. Deaner’s little “Papa Santino told me I can wipe my ass only if the crowd agrees”. This gimmick should die in a fire.

Steve Maclin vs Cody Deaner

Deaner started off quick because Maclin was in disbelief that Deaner was actually gonna fight him. Maclin dodges a Crossbody, Busaiku Knee, and just starts beating on Deaner for fun. And this is fun, maybe Maclin can make sure Deaner gets stretchered out and written off forever. How do you call for an ambulance in French? Maclin with the old Back Breaker into a stretch. Deaner tries to nerd rage up, breaks the Back Breaker Stretch, his punch combo, into a Manhattan Drop and Bulldog. Deaner hits the Crossbody, but Maclin kicks out. This is entirely too competitive.

Deaner goes for the Deaner DDT, blocked, Olympic Slam into Splashing Deaner into the corner, Caught in the Crosshairs, K-I-A, thanks for coming you damn dweeb. Stay in Canada and don’t travel Deaner, please.

AJ Francis w/Rich Swann & Josh Bishop vs Sami Callihan

As the bell sounds, Sami knocks Rich off the apron, Low Bridges AJ, does the Beats of the Bodhran on AJ and then AJ eats the offense and strategizes with his crew. Bishop and Rich swarm the ring, Sami allows himself to get distracted so AJ slides in and starts beating on Sami. AJ throats Sami across the middle rope and Rich makes his presence felt, AJ distracts the referee and Rich gets in a lot of cheap shots. Bishop throws Sami back in the ring, and AJ keeps up the pressure. Lots of 5 count chokes and leverage moves. After the commercial break ends, Sami dodges a Tennessee Whiskey Knee, gets in a few shots before Rich trips Sami as he’s setting up a Dive, and then AJ takes advantage of the position and hits the goofball knee strike.

AJ calls for his Chokeslam, Sami tries to break it with Axe Handles, then claws the eyes. Sami goes for a Scoop Slam, gets him part way up and then falls over. AJ Chokeslam again, but he bites his hand and starts fighting back. Launches himself at AJ, sends him bouncing off the ropes and uses the momentum to hit that Scoop Slam that was teased earlier. Sami goes for a Western Lariat but eats a Big Boot. AJ does a little Hulk Hogan pose to signal a Leg Drop, but Sami dodges and then connects on a Sliding Lariat. Thumbs Up, Thumbs….interference. Rich distracts the ref, Bishop lays out Sami, AJ connects with the Down Payment.

Hammer Your ASH (ASH by Elegance & Alexander Hammerstone) vs JuggerYoung (Jordynne Grace & Eric Young)

ASH and Jordynne exchange slaps and then Jordynne starts to out muscle ASH. Spinebuster from Jordynne, Juggernaut Driver attempt, but ASH fights off, rope run, Sattelite DDT into both tagging out. EY does the Flair corner flop, slides back in between Hammer’s legs, and connects on a Neckbreaker. EY is the quicker of the two, but Hammer finally gets his hands on him and a Release Belly to Belly into a full mount raining of fists, then a near fall. Hammer smashes EY in a corner, Arm Wringer into an Irish Whip across, but EY moves and Hammer tags out to ASH. ASH levels Jordynne, peppers EY with a few shots and pulls him back to their corner and starts some tandem offense with Hammerman. Hammer Guerilla Presses ASH and throws her into EY for a near fall. Hammer looks to aim for either a Powerbomb or Nightmare Pendulum, but EY drops it into a Small Package, pinfall kick out, they both run, Double Lariat spot. The Knockouts get tagged in.

Jordynne is in control early, World’s Strongest Slam into a Vader Bomb. Juggernaut Driver attempt, but ASH fights it off and tags out to Hammer. Jordynne and EY do some schoolyard stuff with the old Push while Jordynne is down to trip Hammer. All four get in, ASH gets leveled, EY gets leveled, Hammer and Jordynne have a brief face off, but Hammer throws Jordynne to the apron and ASH connects with a Meteora from the apron. Death Valley Driver from Young on Hammer, ASH stares in shock, EY tells her to get, ASH runs away. EY goes up for his Macho Elbow, and ASH causes him to fall to Hammer’s feet, Torture Rack, and EY submits.

Josh Alexander comes out, with new heel music. And it’s not that bad, definitely better than some other people’s new music. Josh yells at the crowd a bit, says he can’t wait til he’s back in a real Canadian town, like his home of Toronto. Then he drops the mic in lieu of an explanation. The crowd chants him off with the “Nah Nah Nah Nah, Hey Hey Hey”.

The System (Eddie Edwards, Brian Myers & JDC) w/Alisha Edwards vs Matt Hardy & The ABC (Ace Austin & Chris Bey)

JDC and Hardy start, but JDC quickly tags out to Myers and that doesn’t go well. Hardy grabs a hold of Myers, a few Delete chops, drags him to his corner and they all get in a few shots punctuated with Hardy getting tagged back in and an Elbow into Myers’ extended and worked on left arm. Myers stays isolated, back into the corner, Boot to the gut, Ace tags in and wallops Myers. Ace connects on Double Kicks, into Russian Leg Sweep and his half of Click Click Boom, for a 2 count. Myers finally gets free with a Jaw Breaker and tags out to Eddie. But The System gets no momentum, Ace stifles Eddie’s offense and starts a few quick tags with him and Bey for tandem offense. Moose finally comes down the ramp as Eddie kicked out of yet another pinfall attempt because The System has had nothing going for them. Eddie finally gets some offense since Moose was a big enough distraction.

Eddie thinks they have a spot, so he tags back in JDC, but The ABC stop him cold, tag in Matt Hardy, and Matt walks down JDC, but JDC Low Bridges. Matt is on the outside, so all of The System surrounds Hardy, then Joe Hendry’s music hits! That stops the heel beatdown, and we follow Hendry’s entire entrance. So that proves Hendry is bigger than the 8 other people in this frame. Not really sure if that’s optics you want to push along. Ace and JDC try to remind people there’s wrestling going on, but JDC thumbs the eye to get a little something going. Vertical Suplex for a near fall, tag out for Eddie and Eddie lights up Ace with some of those NOAH Chops. Ace retreats to the ropes and Alisha chokes him with the ropes while the ref is distracted.

Myers gets tagged in, Ace tries to use the crowd energy, Myers stops it at first but then Ace slips a Scoop Slam and tags out to Bey. Hot tag, strike rush, Double Stomp, educated feet, Leap Frog to the corner but Lish climbs on the apron and yells at Bey which stops his rhythm. Myers kicks his feet out and causes Bey to crash. Eddie tags in for a few shots, then to JDC and Slingshot Knees, Wringer Snapmare, Bow and Arrow Submission, and JDC is just doing solid wrestling work right now. Uppercut between the Shoulder Blades as Bey tries to get out, tag to Myers and Bey is still eating offense. Eddie tags in, Bey tries the Sunset Flip, but Eddie tags out before going over, so Myers folds up Bey for a near fall and then tags out to JDC who connects on a Standing Suplex, slams Bey’s face into the corner, Eddie tags in, and Bey finally fights up to his feet, Eddie just flatten Bey’s comeback, tries a Tiger Driver but eats an Enzuigiri for a simultaneous tag. JDC and Hardy come in, JDC tries to exit halfway in, but Hardy is wrecking shop. He disposes of Eddie, Myers slides in but eats a tandem Neckbreaker/DDT from Hardy. Face team does the Delete Corner Face Smashes. Poetry in Motion into a Side Effect into Corkscrew Swanton for only 2 since Myers breaks it up! Everyone throwing hands, referee is distracted, Moose comes in to Spear Hardy, but Hardy dodges and throws him into JDC (I get the call back), Hendry then lays out Moose with the big Lariat. Twist of Fate from Hardy, Splash from Bey, Broken Alphabet wins!

Overall Score: 4/10

Ugh, cliche promos, too damn much talking, a competitive squash match with an imbecile as our first “match”, into an overbooked and slow heel match, finally a decent tag match (with the right team going over), into another overbooked match with a “tease” for the mystery backup being more obvious than Jericho’s WWF debut.

Aside from the afore mentioned tag match, The Rascalz promo and The System Promo; this was hard to watch. A lot of cornball promos, Rosemary licks her conspiracy board, storylines got zero traction. Whoopity Doo, Ryan Nemeth got a match next week and we get an undead wedding.

While this was a bad episode, it was bad by at least new standards. We’re not back in the TNA Dark Days again, but this was…a useless show.
